Hey, how are we doing everybody?
Welcome to another week of the, of the podcast of the big show here, the, the barn burner.
It's boomer and, and retro.
We, we don't have, we don't have Pinder today, but we do have retro.
Who's, are you, what do you got there?
Is that my chair?
That's, uh, yeah.
It's empty.
I see that's, uh, how come it's empty?
Well, see, here's the thing.
I was saying before we got,
so I maybe a bit of a quart low.
Energy reserves are a little low.
So I slept in a little bit.
Oh, nice.
By the time I got up,
I'm like, okay, Pinder's not here.
So we got the Pinder report and I got the things,
like the game and stuff.
I kind of got doing stuff.
And then it's like, I'm not going to have time to get in there.
Thanks for letting me know.
Well, I did not expect to be here.
I had texted Jack.
I was like, you know, I'll, I'll be there.
I'm running behind.
I got the Pinder report and stuff to put together, but, uh, I don't think the Pinda report,
you know, if you sign up for something and put your name behind it.
Yeah.
It's not the Boomer report.
Right.
It's not the Jack report.
No.
It's a retro report.
Like, no.
It would take him about 15 minutes to.
Probably.
Yeah.
Well, I don't know.
That's the beauty of today's world.
We have these things that basically do everything you need.
You can video record it, send it right in.
Uh-huh.
But you got to find the stuff.
Don't care.
No, that's kind of.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because I know what he would say to me if I said, well, I don't want to do that.
Okay.
Yeah.
What would he say?
What would it sound like?
Put on your pinder hat.
I don't know.
it would speak down on me he would yeah he'd be very condescending warm and you're yeah i'd walk away
feeling like an idiot yeah yeah yeah that's true well i'm gonna try not to do that we're gonna try
keep that free from the uh the pinder reports and the jack put some stuff there we got we got a few
things but it's a busy we had a game yesterday i don't know if you knew that there was a game yesterday
and there's a game today i forgot there's a game today too game today yeah yeah remember there were
i forgot there was a game yesterday because i should have taken my kids six or
start great time.
Yeah, yeah.
So they played in Buffalo just the other day and then came home and then played yesterday.
And now they're back in the road again today.
They're in Vancouver tonight.
So you believe it?
I know.
Who put this schedule together?
Who's doing this?
Well,
Batman looked at the team and said they're going to be horse bleep.
So there's no sense catering to them.
Right.
They're looking for losses.
Erting for Hagen's is what I saw.
Is that?
I think that's a thing.
Hurton for Higgins.
That is terrible.
I thought there was Hagus,
and I have no interest in that.
What's his first name?
James?
Yeah.
Jones and for James.
Sure.
Well, let's start that.
T-shirts.
Would that be bad going to Flames games
wearing let's lose a bunch of games
so we can get a good player t-shirt?
It's working now because they're going to try
and make the playoffs these dumb bastards.
Yeah, I know.
I know.
Last night, a 5-3 victory over the Los Angeles Kings,
who ahead of them in standing,
we weren't really sure.
I'm going to wait to see,
but the LA Kings having a good,
having a good start to the season.
What was the score?
Wasn't that three to one?
I thought you said five three.
Three one,
I thought I said.
Empty nutter.
Roondog?
Did I say five three?
I'm sure you said five three,
which I was like,
oh,
okay,
what am I looking at then?
You did say five three.
Where would I have seen five three?
Because it's possible as my eyes are,
scanning sheets i say things that anyway i'm telling you that that's why i'm not there today i'm not right
today it's not right um my my eyeballs are hurting um i'm a court low that looks like a cozy sweater though
it is a very cozy that is a winter it's very cozy and i need to be cozy it's getting cold in the
uh the little studio here i don't have a furnace really i don't know you need to go they're coming over
Are they coming over?
Yep.
Let me, crystal waters, plumbing and heating.
It's the only place I, as soon as something happens,
like my brain, you can see what happens.
Just quickly, I did all the help I can get.
Just defaults.
Oh, hot water.
Crystal water.
Plumbing and heat, crystal waters.
That's how that go.
Okay, well, not 5.3.
It says 3-1 right there.
I'm looking right at it.
3-1.
Empty, I watched the game last night.
I was quite aware.
You know what I was aware of?
There were not eight goals in that hockey game.
It was low event.
Let's shut them down, boys, kind of, kind of hockey for the most part.
I just, I came away, again, unsure about the LA Kings.
Okay, so they're good, right?
So they've been winning games.
Their record is here.
That's what they are.
Then you watch them and see.
Okay.
I like this brand.
Clark.
He's all right.
Um, got a couple of them.
I don't mean, like, do you think that part, some of the teams coming into town or maybe
looking past the flames and not excited to play here and that's not their best efforts?
I don't know to be honest.
I mean, it's, but they're not, we think of them a certain way.
We think of them as being a team.
Well, they're not going to make the playoff.
I just mean, you're a lot of times it's Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, right?
That's right.
A bit of a swing.
Sure.
Who's the bottom of the total pole there?
Yeah, no.
Fair enough.
Yeah.
Right.
Fair enough.
It is what it is.
And it's, in a way, it's a great benefit from the flames.
Edmonton's going to take up most teams attention.
Yeah, they are.
Vancouver is the next in line.
So anyway, kind of like I thought Buffalo would, it's flat,
one PM start out east on Saturday.
It's like, ooh, that'll be tough to get going.
And it was apparently.
And apparently it was.
Yeah.
It was exactly.
It's funny how some things are exactly what the,
how you forecast they're going to be.
So what did, so you watched it on the,
did you watch the prime broadcast last?
I forgot, was looking for it on TV and it was like,
what?
This is.
Oh.
Yes.
Yes.
So went downstairs and turned on the prime on the big screen and caught the guy watching
football.
Oh, yes.
There was football last.
night as well yeah no did you see the guy when on at the end of the game when they were doing the dust like was it a save or not
okay against yeah so they went to the war room oh yeah yeah yeah they went to toronto
dude's watching about that that's that's not gary's not gonna like that yeah and there's only one guy in
there so you can't pot it off that oh we just had a bunch of TVs it's just not all it was you alone
in a room watching football while doing and then the the phone starts to
oh shit damn what did something happen damn well they soon as they realized I think they had it on
and they're like wait a minute he's oh off switch cameras right yeah yeah no I thought when you
said the guy I thought maybe your kid was downstairs on the oh yeah no I was the big eye and
laugh at what I saw that because it took a second for it to register with me too I'm like
wait a minute this guy's watching football he's watching the he's watching the he's
watching the Dolphons right now.
Amazon Prime Night game.
I know how it works when people
people are just in tune to dislike
what they have a lot of sometimes.
You know, the Sportsnet or Hockey Night and Kath,
they're going to get shit on.
These broadcasters, they're going to,
oh, it's going to be, we're going to,
we don't like it.
They're no good.
And anything new, oh, it was great.
It sounds better.
It looks better.
They're better.
It's better.
I have to say, though,
I enjoyed the broadcast last night.
There's a lot.
Now, there's a lot of people.
You got Adnan, who we love.
He's our boy.
But you've got Adnan, and then you got Shane 90,
and then you've got Hicks, Thomas Hickey,
and then you've got Jody Shelley,
and you've got a lot of people for one game.
I get that.
But I liked it.
I would say I liked it, too.
I don't know.
I mean, why, I guess cost-wise,
it'd be hard to employ them.
many people for one game.
But when you have to rely on one or two people to call games,
I think it's good to have the different opinions.
I do too.
And I also,
I thought that the setting up in the concourse,
the desk and everything,
I thought it looked great.
Sometimes it can be a bit janky,
and you got drunks,
you know,
wheeling around and trying to look stupid or whatever.
But I,
uh,
I like that for what it's worth.
And Mike for just watching the,
the comments come in.
Amazon.
Sportsnet got dunked last night.
Again, I think, I don't think it was night and day.
I don't think there was anything really revolutionary there.
But I like the intro with the stuff,
the Calgary kind of skyline and the way that they put it together.
It felt big.
It felt like a big kind of a broadcast where sometimes it just feels kind of like
mom and pop stuff.
Well, it is local and regional and you get 82 of them, right?
doing one. Fair enough.
Got to get Ryan Leslie
out of the basement is kind of what it comes down to.
Get him out of the bowels of the rink, the dingy
bowels and get him up there. He's a good looking guy.
He's a nice.
Razor the other one Saturday.
Yeah. Well, you know.
It's going to text razor. Let's see. Get him a cheap shot or something.
That's right.
Smas. Suckering. Suckerman.
So Flames, I have it here, win three to one over the L.A. Kings.
despite how however you watch the game whether you'll listen to you sure i think it's three to one yeah
uh so was that was that was that in the the shot that uh they went to the war room for
if that was in then we won a stanley cup okay i figured there might be i wondered if maybe they
yeah so you'd be okay with with it with it's three to one gary but uh send me my ring send me my ring
Yeah.
They, no, I think it was in.
It looked from that from the one angle from the top there.
I don't know.
I don't know what the I, when I was talking, somebody maybe mentioned on the broadcast.
But the shoveler was there and I was like, I don't know if they base goals off of goal posts.
You know what I mean?
Like I thought it was the goal line.
Well, I think if, if.
I don't know.
Yeah, like is the goal line, is the same width as the goal post?
So if the, if, is the camera mounted in the goal post?
So when you look down, I don't know, but it looked like it was kind of, you know,
it looked like it might have been in.
I'll have a save.
Heck of an effort to get across.
Yeah.
Heck of an almost save.
Heck of an almost save.
I think we, uh, looks like Jack's calling it up here.
um like there's this angle and then they had the in the net angle it's even tough to see like right
there that frame right there it looks like there's a wee bit of uh didn't they say the the
angle of the puck and the parallax yeah i don't fucking know i don't know anyway well done for uh
for wolfe he's been real good man he's been real good he has been giving the the play
you know what he's been it's been number one goalie play this season
Yeah. For both.
Goldenders, not just one.
Yeah, I suppose so. I suppose.
Bladar's been good.
He's been all right. Yeah, he's been fine.
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
This guy looks very confident in that net.
Wolf right now looks like he wants to be in the net.
Yeah. He's, I don't know how you,
how you describe it or characterize it for a guy that doesn't say a whole lot,
that he's not overly, you know, he's not
Ron Hickstall smashing his stick on the post or anything,
but he looks, he looks like a cocky guy.
He looks like a guy that's like, F you guys.
I want this challenge, please.
This is me.
Bring it on.
This is my net.
This is my not.
For the flames points and four straights.
So they're not Jones and for James.
I think the Jones for a playoff.
I know.
2.0 and 2.
Huberto decides to score.
What's this all about?
Back on and Hubert.
Costco gets in a scrap, which was good.
I thought it was fighting.
He can't help but smile, right?
Like, everything's just hilarious to him.
He's been battling away in the miners for a long time.
And all of a sudden, he's up with the big boys and getting a chance and contributing.
He's like, this is great.
I just got in a fight.
I just got to fight.
Smiling during the fight on the way to the box, sitting in the box, looking at the guy.
Hey, we just fought.
We just, NHL, we just fought.
Me and you.
You believe it?
Um, Rasmus Anderson seven block shots.
Leads the NHL with 57 of those.
Quit back it in.
Yeah.
And, uh, Conner's area, another great game.
Could have had a couple.
I was worried when he got kind of looked like he got a bit of a slew foot there from
that Hellenious bastard landed on his shoulder.
He looks like, you know what?
He looks like me.
He's kind of, every time he gets out of the chair, every time he's,
he's making these noises right now.
Looks like he's, he's sore.
Looks like there's some, some general soreness.
I hope he's not going to be day to day with general soreness.
No, he'll be fine.
He's young.
He's useful.
Yeah, he is.
But still makes plays almost every game.
You see something special out of him.
Coronado gets an assist five points in a four game streak.
He does not want to go back down.
We talked about it last week.
Screw you and your waivers this and entry level that.
I'm not going anywhere.
I'm staying.
I don't want to go anywhere.
So we'll see,
uh,
we'll see what happens here.
They,
uh,
what'd you,
I guess what'd you think of the weekend?
I think,
well,
I'm,
I'm kind of lumping everything together.
They,
they get down,
they battle back and they get points.
Maybe it's not a win every time,
but they're not throwing in the towel in circumstances where you might expect
them to go,
okay,
let's move on to the next game.
So they're battling back and getting points.
I thought the Buffalo was especially now I don't think Buffalo is a great team I don't
think Boston's a great team but you get down usually you're going to lose and they were
flat but they keep fighting I thought against LA last night first game back after a road trip
I don't care if it's a cliche or not it's always hard played well enough to get points
and I think that that's just it they're getting the good enough goal tending to give themselves
chance to find their legs.
And if they just get competing,
the goaltending is keeping them in the games where they're good
enough to do to win a few.
Yeah.
I mean,
we're getting far enough into the season where it's like,
this is not going to be doom and gloom.
Well, obviously it's not.
Yeah, I mean, they're.
Oh,
year.
And so,
so what do you chalk that up to?
Because we talked about,
well,
they're going to come back to never.
Oh,
it's because they're young and there's no expectations.
It's easy to play when you're never going to be criticized for
poor play or for losing games.
Does that leave you?
There's some of that.
I think they don't have distractions as far as
what they are, who's leaving, who's coming, who's going.
Last year was very much like that.
The coach is back for his second year.
Very comfortable with most of these players.
Costco's.
Kirkland's a great example.
Worked with them for many years, right?
So the coach has a pretty good grasp,
I think, from what I'm watching,
of all of his players in what they need.
I think he's implemented a situation
where they've all bought into us versus the world
kind of scenario.
Sure.
Everyone hates us.
You got a young kid goaltender who is very,
very, very talented and is earning his stripes.
Do you know what to prove?
That doesn't approve for sure.
And he had to do it in the minors.
So it wasn't some kid freshly drafted.
He's had to battle.
so I think he he approaches it a little bit differently.
Vladars got something to prove.
You want to play in the NHL of Ladar?
Well, you better start playing.
Yeah.
And he is.
I would say their forward group is just solid.
There's no stars,
but they're better than probably we expected.
Huberdow isn't amazing,
but he's contributing more than probably again,
I expected.
And their bottom
pair defense
has done way more
than I ever thought.
And by way more,
they're actually not
a complete detriment
to success for the team.
Right?
Like I expected nothing from them
and they've just been solid.
Yeah.
And we talk about Miramanov
and well,
is he a top for it?
Well, no, he's not.
But right now with how
it's about the only way
you can slot it. You'd love to see Anderson and Weger together.
You can't right now. It's working. It's it you can't. There's enough there that like you say that
there's a drop off from Weger to Miramadov and from you know, ball. But it, but it is working.
All solid. Miramanov and the rest. But they're doing. Yeah. They're playing the way the coach
needs them to play to have success. Yeah. J. J. Maremanov is not a top tier.
defenseman. Well, that's fine.
Don't F up.
Yeah, I was going to say with Miramanoff, he is what he is, but we don't see him getting burned.
No, he's getting, getting torched.
He's staying within.
Stay in your lane.
I don't notice them 90% of the time.
And I'm not even, I'm not joking at all.
90. Pinders old Miraman.
I, what? Did he play?
Exactly.
And not in a bad way.
It's, I don't expect him to be rushing the buck.
and scoring and putting up points and crushing gut.
Just don't know.
Yeah.
And I think when it's,
well, this guy used to be a forward and he's big and he scored points.
That's not,
that's not what it is for you on this blue line if you're going to be here.
And the same with Pahal.
I've seen Pahal,
whenever he, you know,
he's going to take a run of a guy or get overly physical.
Okay, odd man rush.
Maybe it goes in or there's a big say,
no,
you,
you can be physical.
Just,
just be physical in the constraints of what we need.
to be. It's really been
through however many games it's been now.
16, which is not a lot. That's not quite a full season yet.
It's starting like 20 games is yeah, 25% of a season.
Like we're getting close to.
Well, remember game one when Vancouver, whatever, they were up three
nothing in a hurry. It's like, Jesus. I don't know how many people
text me, but it was a handful that really. What a tire fire.
Yeah. We were ready. Oh, there could be some.
shortcomings for this blue line and maybe it's going to be tough for this oh boy are they going to be
given up five six a night and they've you know they've to their credit it's interesting you bring
that up i hadn't really thought about that but when you're not thinking about the d you're in a good
spot we talked about it all the time i think we we had zadora of last year at this point and we
were loving them yeah but for all the good the bad was too right so yeah you end up kind of maybe being
even pay and it's the same scenario i don't notice bahall and miramanov and tb8 and whoever else is in the
lineup you're going with that yeah yeah yeah doing anything spectacular but i also don't see them
costing the team points games goals against they're just they're doing their ass yeah and again
part of that's coaching so credit to the to the coaches for putting them in a spot to to kind of succeed
I should mention we're in opening statements.
I always, you know, we're just so excited to get talk.
I forget to tell you it's opening statements for McLeod Law.
But who can forget about McLeod Law, our good buddy, Peter Klein, just going to work for
everybody.
Hi, Peter.
You know, it's one of those things, too, where you know if you're calling Peter, you need
something.
And some people would be like, when is anyone going to do something for me?
Peter's not one of those guys.
He's here to help you.
The phone rings.
He knows you're looking for help.
He's just ready to dig in.
long-term disability insurance company, maybe your disability insurance claim, you're having some issues.
Peter's the guy.
He'll get to the disability payments that you deserve and that you paid for.
If maybe things are a little bit slow coming through, maybe if that insurance company is dragging their feet a little bit,
just let Peter kind of rattle the cage a little bit and see what happens.
He is the best in the business.
And so too is everybody at McLeod Law.
Calgary.
Calgary Roots, big part of their longstanding client relationships.
They get the city.
They love the city and the people.
in it and share a commitment to making a positive impact on Calgary.
MacLeod-law.com, whatever your legal issue may be.
In there as well, it was not in the King's game, but the word came over the weekend regarding
Anthony Mantha has an ACL injury, it requires surgery, it will be a season-ending
procedure.
So certainly didn't work, you know, this unfortunate for on a number of levels.
Unfortunately for him, obviously this was, I'm going to suck.
a contract, I'm going to go to a team where clearly it's probably not about winning,
but I'm going to get some ice time, be put in position to put up some points,
and then maybe in a year from now, I can get a longer term deal.
That's not seen to have happened.
Do you want my rude take on this?
Well, I'll just, I'll lay it.
So for math, I'm going to go to Calgary.
I'm going to try and put up a bunch of points.
And then next summer, I'm going to get a long term bigger money deal for the flames.
Okay, we're going to bring in a guy.
We have wingers, but a lot of them are young.
We're going to bring in a veteran guy.
And with any luck, maybe he will shoot the puck, get some points,
worry less about defense, just score.
And then at the trade deadline, we can turn this into an asset.
I'm guessing that's maybe what was in the headspace of the team.
Neither of those things are going to take place.
No, and for Mantha, no good, real bad, actually.
For the team, perhaps you're not going to be able to get that asset in return for him
because I agree with you.
I think that was probably the plan.
But my ignorant take is it's best for the team.
Yeah.
He's not a, we love the first game,
but then you saw all the reasons why he's been on a bunch of different teams.
And it's great to have talent and size and shooting and ability.
And when you don't decide to play,
but one in every 10, it becomes hard.
I actually think this is better for the team,
because you're going to put guys in there that are going to be excited and competing.
And it sounds like a cheap shot against Manta, but get these, they got some kids,
let them, let them earn your stripes.
And second time I've used that.
But let them get in there and play.
And I actually think it'll be better off for the squad.
If they're going to battle and compete and try and make something of this season,
it's a better fit to have him kind of out of the line.
And really almost regardless, right, whether they're going to try and make the playoffs or not make
for the for the development of matt coronado specifically right it's it's it's it's it's great news for
at coronados with the ranglers 80% of the season because anthony mantis here he can have a great year
well next year coming to camp and that whole song and dance thing it just it kind of goes back
it feels like we're really shipping on the guy now but i i was kind of curious when the signing was
because all we talked about for a year was the the the excess of
of wingers that they have. You have too many wingers.
Now, okay, so
Maghapani is gone. Well, there's still a lot of guys.
It was just about an asset. It was about
trying to give a guy a spot. They had lots of cap space.
Conroy was 100% going. Let's give him a
it didn't make sense other than we're going to trade him
after we pump up his value.
Very low risk. They have cap space. It was not a huge money deal.
So, I mean, yeah, it sucks for him.
No doubt about it.
No doubt.
What did he have for,
for points here?
I was looking,
13 games,
four goals,
three assists.
Not the kind of...
Not terrible.
I mean,
it's not terrible.
Like seven and 13,
50,
not what's going to get you
a significant return
at the deadline,
for sure,
even if those,
you know,
if that kind of rate of play
continues.
But yeah,
hey,
we go to shit in the guy.
Adam Klapker recalled,
they did the,
the Dryden Hunt swap.
over the weekend.
But again, between this and Coronado's play,
this really bodes well, I would think,
for Coronado to be here for the balance of the season.
Yeah, it looks that way.
And he's earning it.
So they're, yeah, keep it up, kid is what you tell them.
Keep it up, kid.
Keep it up, kid.
Not the game tonight, Vancouver.
Oh, they're on the road again.
Yeah.
That's right.
Willie.
And Vancouver's been terrible at home, right?
Well, Vancouver, you know, it's a weird one with with them.
What are the points for your butt?
I don't need you to go and crush the guy again, necessarily.
But Elias Pedersen just seems like there.
The day, didn't it?
What's that?
Didn't he score a big goal the other day?
I thought he'd celebrate the goal.
Elias in 13 games has three goals and seven points.
That's not, that's very mantel like.
Yeah.
So that's good.
No.
Oh, not for them.
Oh.
I just want to like I've just,
I'm double checking again.
Can that be right?
Three goals and seven points in 13 games.
Yeah.
It's,
they're not happy about it in Vancouver,
but it almost feels like they're so used to it that,
uh,
well,
whatever.
But what about J.T. Miller.
Now J.T. Miller's kind of getting shit on.
He's going to get the gears because.
Yeah.
Yeah, because, well, J.T. Miller, do you realize that last year at this time?
He had nine, he's nine points off his start from a year ago.
He's got 11 points in 13 games.
Okay. Well, it's, yeah.
But last year, you know what he was doing?
He's injured.
That is without saying he's injured.
He's basically said he's injured.
I'm being as physical as I can, given the situation.
situation. The points aren't there given the situation. All of this. So it's just interesting that it feels like J.T. Miller showed what he's capable of doing, carried that team for good chunks of last year and was great in the playoffs.
emotionally led them. Well, Petterson wasn't. And like, maybe it is. Maybe I'm wrong about this. But it just feels like, well, of course, Pedersen's stinking because he stinks for long stretches. And certainly at the start of the year, you can't expect them to be any good. But what about J.T. Miller?
All right.
So Pedersen struggling.
J.T. Miller is injured.
Brock Besser is out after he got cabonged by Tanner Genoa there last week.
He's out indefinitely.
So we'll see what happens against the Canucks.
They lost to Edmonton, 7.3.
It was a bit of floodgate.
So they have about a five minute span there where they scored four or five goals.
Prior to that, though, Canucks were on the road.
They'd won three straight.
Come home.
First game after home.
After a road trip, they lose.
Game two of a six-game home stand for the Connucson.
starting tonight. And I know you love
young talent.
Jonathan Lecira
Mackey. I'm not sure if that's how you say his name.
Lecura Mackey, 20 years old,
had five goals and seven games
with Abbisford. We saw him in Penticton.
They're very high on him.
Looks like he will play tonight.
Believe it to be his NHL debut.
Nice.
Practice with Pius, Souter, and J.T. Miller.
He'll be spinning around all by himself.
That's right.
That's right.
So he's going to jump in.
Kevin Lankanin's been very good for them in net.
Arturz Seelovs had a bit of a rough start.
Lankinen who came in late because they kind of keeping an eye on old Thatcher Dempco there.
In for the loss against them until the other night.
That was his first regulation loss of the season, 7-1 and 2 in the Connuck crease.
They're a confusing team though, right?
Because their record's fine, but their top goaltenders out.
and they're supposedly number one forward is terrible.
And they're remote,
I don't know,
I thought Miller was regarded as a putts,
but it seems like they like him.
And he's kind of an emotional,
uh,
stirring the drink for him.
Yeah,
I think he kind of,
but their team still doing well.
So.
I don't know what to make.
That,
that playoff run did a lot for,
for Miller in that fan base.
because he was, I mean, he was electric.
Even that first game, remember the first game of the season.
They were up 3-1 or whatever it was in the first period.
Then the flames came back and they go up and then Miller scores to send it to overtime before
Zeri finally gets that beauty in overtime.
They are one, two and three at home to your point, just one victory.
7-3-3 overall.
They, if the season ended today, which it doesn't, heads up, wild card team right now.
But for whatever that's worth.
there you see it only 13 games that's yeah wonder why not sure i mean it's not a big deal i guess it seems
was 15 but the kings have played 17 yeah yeah big discrepancy team big one yeah so we'll see
tonight an eight o'clock start oh no i think so
Yeah, Vancouver.
I don't think so.
I think you should.
Do you?
Well, it'll guarantee you go to overtime or shootout if we want that to be the case.
But no, I don't think I'm doing that tonight.
So sad, sad tale.
I believe it's Pike and Pender.
Pike and Pinder.
Oh.
Don't, yeah.
What?
You know what I'm going to say, right?
Yeah.
Well, why can't he do this show?
Did you tell,
Don't. Is that what you said?
I knew what he would.
Just don't.
There's no explanation.
No, you know what?
Because from my seat, I know what it's Pinder B, it's, there's a bit of that.
And it's like, well, you know, I'll do the afterbrats at 8 o'clock.
I'll do it because Bumer will be fucking sour if I don't do it.
And I take the, I've taken the day, I'll do the thing.
That's what's going through his headspace.
So I appreciate it.
I agree.
You know what a nice guy would do?
I say, well, you're already taking the day off.
I'll just do it.
I'm working anyway.
I'll do it for you.
I'll do it.
I'll do it. Pinder.
No, it's because I didn't realize this until just moments before we started the show.
Kids don't have school today.
That's not true.
Mine do.
One of mine does.
My youngest doesn't.
Some people said there's a fall break, which is good of fall breaks.
Yeah.
Because I know this one happened last year as well.
Pinder was like, I'm going to take the day after because it's, I believe it's the ladies,
the lady's birthday or something.
It's a birthday weekend.
And the kids, it's a holiday for the kids.
So they do something special on this,
on this weekend.
But, and a nice guy would say,
just I'll do it.
You're taking the day.
You've got your, whatever, just I'll do it.
I just said I'd do it.
Nice guy probably would have done that.
I just said I'd do it.
I know you did.
I could crush it to me.
Would you?
Oh, Pike and I were just,
Tibbs and back at Rich on the other day home, baby.
I saw that, yeah.
Maybe we could meet at Richmond's.
Two peas and a pod, you guys.
Some pizza.
Yeah, it was good pizza.
Which one?
So I want to have the Godfather.
I haven't had the Godfather.
The Godfather's one I want.
All right.
All right.
The owner was, I know.
He was going to be around an order and still.
Yeah.
It was okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That one was what was on salami pepper
any mushroom is that what he because i went with the big the big slabs of meat on the top there
that's been stuck in my crawl a little bit i've been thinking about that uh pretty much on a daily
basis you didn't it i get back into it get back into it uh how was now i realize it's tuesday
but how was the weekend what you do well i had the big doper home uh and i don't mean doper as
in smoking weed dope right nope was home because he had a bad noggin so
your oldest.
Yeah, so we just putzed around and a little bit of this,
a little bit of that, nothing too exciting.
I was a quarter of a week as well.
So that gave me his illness.
So I was kind of, yeah, I never got, I don't think I,
because I'm healthy and I take care of myself,
I didn't get as run down as him and tender do,
but it was still moving a little bit slow.
No, I spent yesterday still trying to get this,
basement thing figured out.
It's just, you're not a renovator, buddy.
No, it's not.
You know what it is?
It's trying to.
We should be on an episode of hoarders.
Oh.
I was thinking about this because I brought everything out.
All the stuff, there's stuff that was still unpacked from when we moved here 50 years ago.
Two years ago.
No.
Like in 2007, there's still, oh, this is from the moving company.
Coming up on 20 seasons.
It's still taped.
Clearly we can live without whatever is in this box.
Why don't we just, it's like a game show.
Let's just throw it out.
Let's just throw it out.
We'll never know what was in there.
You're not missing anything.
Yeah, that was not going to.
So I just, I brought everything out from all the storage and everything into the middle of the basement.
It's like, we're going to be very honest with ourselves.
We're going to make some tough decisions and all of this sort of thing.
So that has been taking months.
That was before the start of.
summer, it's just, it's way more difficult that I expected it to be.
But I feel like we're getting down to it.
There's a little kind of a off of the basement bedroom.
There's a bathroom.
There's a little kind of a crawl space.
So I pulled everything out of this crawl space.
Let's go through.
There's hardly anything in there.
There can't be anything in there.
There was a lot in there.
So pulled a bunch of the stuff to the middle, starting to get it put together.
You're getting getting it weeded out.
Hald more stuff.
no it's a it's a disaster again oh you got to do it dean you're doing and then you know what else was
brought up yesterday hey so where are we putting the christmas stuff up yes that was mentioned this
morning christmas is coming fast you know so that i flip off the hell maybe if we want to be doing
stuff maybe we want to deal with some of the boxes we got downstairs maybe before we start
pulling out more boxes let's deal with the boxes well shit we got already
idiot here.
Yeah.
So that was.
So it was emotional and physically,
it was emotionally and physically taxing for me
yesterday, which is maybe why I'm feeling a little bit to
down.
Hang in there.
God, there's a lot of stuff.
So much.
I need some stuff from booms.
Jack, you want some stuff?
You like garage sales, Jack?
Yeah.
I could probably use some stuff.
I got an empty house with empty walls.
Just give you.
What do you got?
Nothing you want.
Your whole home with the extra stuff.
I have in my house.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's nothing.
You know,
it sounds exciting,
Jack,
it's nothing you want.
I have two massive,
like massive containers
of just photo albums and pictures.
Yeah,
the old school.
Right?
And what do you do, right?
What do you do?
It's so nostalgic.
Like,
you,
and I can't decide,
like,
we're going to croak one day.
Mm-hmm.
And in a way,
I want to hang on
to as much shit
as pop.
possible so my putts kids have to deal with something in their life.
Like, finally dad's dead and gone and now I have to deal with something.
So I want the house to be full of stuff.
Right.
Where they have to deal with it.
On the other hand, it's there and it's annoying me.
It's driving you crazy in the meantime.
It'll drive you to, yeah, it'll kill you.
I got seven storage units just so I have to stick it to my kids when I'm gone.
I know.
And the other thing is because I went through all these are photos from
my childhood, my wife, all of this, I know what they are.
But once I die, my kids aren't going to know what they are.
Yeah, what's this?
This is my, this looks like, I think this is my dad when he was a kid with some people at a birthday party or something.
Okay, great.
So if it already just kind of means something to me, in about 20 years, it's not going to mean anything to anybody.
Just get rid of it.
And I guarantee you, if you wanted, and you take it in, they'd scan that S and they can make a love,
Lovely digital forever.
You can just sign in and just like those pictures that you'll never look at.
I've got 150 boxes in the basement.
Oh, really?
I've got it right here.
What is that?
It was all that picture.
So you've got like 16 rubber made tubs full of photos.
Yeah, I just put them on here.
That's just, uh, let's make a time capsule.
Just bury me.
Just bury me.
instead, please.
God.
I was going to tell you, I'm going to ask you this because I know,
now this is not a, you've been taking some runs, maybe,
in some people's estimation.
At youth referees or just referees of sport.
I don't know, go ahead.
Thursday, because, and this is always,
tournament on the weekend.
Visiting team gets the first ice time Friday morning,
out of town team.
Makes sense.
Maybe you could have a home.
team or whatever we'll play the first game so the two games there and then you play another game on
saturday just the one game saturday because you've played two now on friday and then first game on
sunday the 715 or whatever because you haven't you couldn't fit all the round robin games into two
days he needed to all right and then so gold medal game or whatever you want to call it the the final
and something has happened over the course of the weekend where i don't know if it's a zamboni issue or
something, but the ice times have been pushed back and pushed back. And it's been an issue because
games that are starting a half hour late. They're starting 45 minutes late. So this is just in
the organizers and the people that are running to think this has been a steady kind of point
of stress over the course of the weekend. So as it turns out again, Sunday, the game was supposed
to start at noon, starting at 1245. And then there's more games in a different tournament.
All right, 1245. That's fine. So we play the game. It is tied.
at the end of regulation.
Well, we're going to a shootout.
All right.
They do three shooters, each, still tied.
And I don't know, I'm not a coach.
I'm just a parent standing on the side.
And then all of a sudden, it's shooter, shooter, shooter, shooter, shooter, shooter, shooter, shooter.
It was, and I find out afterwards in the, they're going,
because I see the coach is doing this on the bench trying to figure out what the shootout rules are.
as kid, kid, kid, every player on the team had to go and shoot.
Never seen this before.
Never seen it.
Well, it's fair play, Dean.
They get to the end of the entire team by now, this,
and this is taking a long time because they're stopping.
Okay, what are the rules?
Well, who needs to go?
What are we doing?
The shootout has now taken as long as it would have taken just play another period.
Anyway, so they get to the end of the everybody shoots,
shootout. It's still tied.
The organizer and I saw her
standing at the at the Zamboni gate because
now it's stressful. There's two of more teams waiting to go
on the ice. Snapping.
She's that she's
she looks at the referee and just
does this. Game over.
It's tied. Home team
wins.
Yay!
One team goes skating out, celebrating
everyone's what has happened? What has happened?
Yeah, it's just we're out of time.
So.
Okay.
So what?
So one team skates off.
Woohoo.
Our team skates off.
What's happened?
Here's your silver medal.
All right.
Let's go home.
Hun.
Let's,
uh,
that's two golds.
Yeah.
Silver's good as gold.
Get some,
silver and gold.
Get some ice cream or something.
What do you feel like?
That's something.
I'd never seen it.
Yeah,
I'd never seen it.
I'd seen the shoot
out go down like it wasn't a shootout though it was a overtime small town so they had ice and
people weren't pissed so you went five on five still tied after five four and four still tied after
five three on three still tight two and two still tied one on one still tied goalies
got to play out that's great yeah yeah always had to battle for the puck and score you just wonder if
somebody would say just a sec is this really the best what if we just stayed one on one for another
minute or two on two for a while or something yeah and the other part was because this is ringette
and i guess in a shootout you have to it's and i had to ask my kid after i'm like so what was happening
because there were rings going as goal no goal what it's it went in the net you can only do one
motion because with the ring you can really kind of manipulate how it goes. So if you were on your
forehand, you pull backhand and lift it. No goal. So you have to come in and shoot in one motion only.
Oh boy. So you can't deek or something. So that was the other thing that was confusing is how
many kids are shooting? All right. Goal. No goal. All right. Goal. Nope. No goal. More kids shooting.
Seven. It's round seven. It's round seven, round eight, round 10, round 12. I don't, I don't know.
what's happening. I'm just going to wait for the refs to
wait for the Zamboni to start
cleaning the ice and we'll find out who won.
So, anyway,
good times.
Speaking of refs,
I had a ref tell me that I,
so we had a face off in our end
and they kicked our centerman out.
Okay, whatever.
I don't know what the infatuation and focal point
these refs have with the
right, the two inches inside.
Anyway.
kick our guy out.
And so the linesman decides he gets to choose who takes the face off.
So he throws a defenseman in.
So I asked him in between periods.
I said, how come like what?
Well, I can choose whoever I want.
No.
No, you can't.
It's not a rule.
Well, if you don't know how to coach, it's not my fault.
Yeah.
Stupid.
Yeah.
Exactly.
You don't know how to coach.
There's nothing.
In fairness, there's no answer to that.
Well, if you don't know how to coach.
I walked away at that point.
He had me.
All right.
Okay.
Wow.
Okay.
Oh, that's good.
That's good.
But I thought, you know, one of the nice things on the weekend.
Now, it's, you know, it's super nice, but it's nice to see because, you know, our buddies are
origin brewing.
just getting bigger, getting stronger.
We're up in,
I'm up the, uh,
in Sherwood Park and go into the,
whatever it is, wine and beyond or whatever.
Beautiful, you know, these beautiful liquor stores.
I might grab a little,
little something, you know.
I wonder if they've got any, uh, got any origin up here.
Probably not, you know, Sherwood Park.
That's Strathmore and, and whatever.
So I go to the, uh, craft beer aisle and look you here.
What we've got.
Hey?
There you go.
A wide selection.
We've got the lazy, hazy IP.
We got the darkest poor.
We got the homegrown.
We got the Mexican loggar, little Rockyford Red, the six Sutter shooters.
Nope.
It is oil country.
I feel like, yeah.
Well, I feel like maybe the Barnburner blonde be a bigger seller than the dark porter, maybe.
But maybe I'm wrong.
Anyway, so thanks to, I believe that's what it's called, right?
Wine and Beyond, I think it was.
Having the origin brewing on the shelves there.
Good on you.
Very nice.
Appreciate that.
If you've got the origin on your shelves,
send us a photo, send us a vid.
We'll put it on the show.
Origin brewing.
And again,
be watching.
Maybe more another collaboration with the origin
boys and girls coming up soon.
When are you putting the Christmas stuff up?
Well, the Halloween stuff went and finally came in yesterday.
So, yeah.
We didn't even do it this year.
I was, I'm so focused on trying to get rid of stuff.
We were not pulling out more boxes.
Maybe that's what you should just stipulate.
None of this.
You said it.
They say, no, no, nothing.
Yeah.
Capit Christmas trees.
No, nothing.
But you love Christmas.
Yeah.
I'm getting older, though.
You know what I loved?
Christmas.
It's got to be.
I bet.
I would, that's kind of what I'm pushing for.
What if we did a hot holiday, like a hot Christmas somewhere?
But last year, the oldest kid wasn't home for it.
So he's like, oh, one less.
Yeah.
But he's like, oh, I missed out on Christmas last year.
Like, are we doing the, are we making, are we making nuts and bolts again?
Yeah, okay.
Are we making the, me thing?
Well, yeah, no one.
No one does this stuff in the kitchen unless dad does it.
I was away on the weekend.
It was kind of a, it's like, Dad's home.
So we get to eat again was kind of the messaging I got when I got back.
Dad, what's for supper?
I don't know.
I don't know.
Well, you're home.
I was just wondering what, what you're making.
All right.
Let's, uh, we got some stuff to do.
We got the Pinda report.
Talk about origin.
I thought about that Pinda report.
This is going to be very underwhelming.
There's no, I didn't, there's no gators.
There's no hippos.
So I'll apologize up front
Apologize up front
No gators, no snakes unless now Jack
It's going to be kind of a collaborative effort Jack
Did you put any uh
Nope
I'm not responsible for those
See
It's got a weird take on it's a different tone when Pinder's not here
And it's just us like yeah that darn Pinder
Who Who and then when Pinders are I kind of like the snake videos
Like a one in the back
Right like that's kind of
Yeah sometimes
But I'm not going to go out of my way to try and find all these things.
Like if you want to send me a million snake videos, they're kind of funny.
Sometimes I like the reaction out of you.
But I'm not going to go out of my way to.
What do I need to change?
How do my reaction?
How do I need to change it to make it less enjoyable for you?
So make this all stuff.
I saw one the other day.
It was a guy in Australia.
And honestly,
but if I sent it,
I would be perpetuated.
I'd be doing that that I most despise.
A guy called the exterminator twice in five days for having a
snake coming up is shitter.
It's like, yeah, there's a snake in my, uh, there's a snake in my boot.
He had, they had to go underneath the house and like cut the, the sewer lines to get the big
bastard out.
And then they just fixed that.
And like three or five days later, yeah, I got another one.
And he was just kind of coiled up right in the tank.
That one was easier.
You imagine.
No.
You open the lid, go for a tinkle and there's a friggin' snake there.
No, no thanks.
I'm like this dude, this dude isn't, he was at,
you need to hold a snake boomer, watch your mouth.
We talked about, he was at the event the other day.
I've held a snake.
It does nothing.
I just, there's nothing.
It's not that I, it's,
too much steak talk already for me.
It's just,
there's not here and we're,
oh, we like the dumb stuff.
Well, it could it be entertaining or something?
There's plenty of dumb stuff.
That isn't snakes.
I don't know.
We'll do the, uh,
the Pater Report for our buddies at Village Honda, Northwest Automol, online at VillageHonda.com.
A lot of places you go to a dealership and what you see is what you get.
And that's not what the deal is at Village Honda.
You talk to them.
So what do you got coming in?
What do you got in used?
Pre-owned.
What about because you're part of the dealership group, the Wood Automotive Group?
What have you got?
How many dealerships?
Five, six, seven different dealerships?
Well, do I need to go to all them?
Oh, I don't.
We can just sit down and go through the whole thing together.
You're going to find what it is that you're looking for.
quality
just great
and you know what it is?
Great people.
They got really good people up there.
I was up there about a month ago.
I said this to Anthony.
I'm like, you know what?
People are real good.
And they didn't know who I was.
You know, usually I go into place like, hey,
there's boomer.
He's a big deal.
We better treat him right.
Yeah, that's what happens.
But he's got real good people up there.
Doing things the right way.
Village Honda, Northwest Automal Online,
VillageHonda.com.
Pindee, Ryan Pindo.
And I, I pan over four.
The Flames beat the L.A. Kings.
Three to one.
Not five to three.
Three to one.
Three to one last night.
It was a nice night for,
I have it, but I haven't put it in my soundboard.
I found a wolf thing.
Oh, you know, what a sound like?
Yeah.
Yeah.
28 saves for Dustin Wolf.
He's been real good this year.
year his numbers are there's nothing there's nothing I mean they're sparkling what else do you want
their number one goal tender numbers and as you said we expected this year this is going to be
it's going to be tough they're going to have to maybe are you going to play dust and wolf all the time
you're going to have to kind of shield them protect them with this defense being what it is
seems silly we even brought it up uh no we've got uh now after burner last night
Kent Wilson was working with, well, let's just take a look.
Let's take a look.
They were, oddly enough, Wolf, topic of conversation on After Bernie last night.
I'm prepared to call that Dustin Wolf's best game of the season.
I'll say actually, no, I change it.
I take it back.
I say that's his best game as a plane.
Fair enough.
Just wish it was actually a shutout.
But from start to finish, you're right.
It was still really good.
And I think there was a couple of breakways on him.
Yeah, he looks more and more like he's comfortable at this level.
And it's becoming that starting goal, gold hunter.
He ends up saving 28 of 29. That's a 966 save percentage.
I think positionally, this is the most secure he's looked.
There are times where he's making all these crazy saves and it's so much fun to watch,
but it's where people are able to call his height into question because he's having to do some
of these things to kind of compensate for it. But there wasn't a moment where I looked at him
this game and it was like, oh yes, he's wee as far as go tenders go.
He looked just as big as Darcy Keper at the other end.
I find he's really, really good at puck tracking.
He can find Pucks in the crowd really well.
So, yeah, he was very good.
Best game is a flame, says Kame Kepke.
Tough to debate.
I mean, he had that, the one save, it was off Kopitar, right?
Where he got some time in alone there.
He's been good.
He's been all right.
And now this is, he's still just a young boy, but he's been younger.
than he is right now.
Dust and wall.
Look at this here.
That's a young,
D. Wolf who is,
now he's an American guy,
right?
That's him with old Johnny Quick.
Little boy.
He looks real young there.
He looks really young there.
Is that how big he is still?
No, Red.
He's not that small.
No,
he was a child there.
Oh,
that's,
that's a shot from the prime of him
when he was a child.
So he's a spoiled brat then,
hanging out with the king no i just maybe there's may so maybe last night would have been uh
like a more motivation for him to play d la kings maybe he was a king's guy growing up
johnny quick couldn't care he's like yeah whatever i get this snottmost kid out of here i got
i got a i got a spot in the patio at manhattan beach let's go we are just going to pound some
growlers it's going to be great uh kings have lost two of three coronado picks up the assist
five points in a four game streak.
Flames of points of four straight
games. This is, you know what it's
doing? It's ruffling some feathers among the
people that want this team to lose every hockey
game, but I
don't know. Any of us need to see that,
quite frankly.
I'd prefer them to stay where they are
and continue to win than tank.
But the concern is
will the wheels fall off?
Yes.
But not of the
Wolf has been good enough
Thrift. Pinder always brings it up.
Junior.
I don't. Every level.
And not just good.
Not just good enough. He's been elite.
Yes. That's correct.
It's a flames game day. Get your helmets on.
It's Vancouver in Vancouver.
We hate Vancouver.
Yeah, we don't like Vancouver.
And we learned earlier this year, they don't really care about us one way or the other.
They've moved on from us.
They hate the Oilers now.
So, okay.
What's the big, did we talk about this?
Sorry, you want to finish.
No, go ahead.
I can't recall if we brought to some.
What's the biggest rivalry in hockey right now?
My kid asked me that the other day.
Huh.
I wonder if it's maybe Lightning Panthers,
but I'm not close.
What I'm making is that does it not sound sad that it's not instantaneous?
Yeah.
You know what it is?
It's the, they don't hate each other anymore.
You need to get into the playoffs and then you start to you start to hate each other.
It's the kids.
Kids that, you know, the, hey, man, how are you doing?
Oh, yeah, I text you after.
We'll maybe go out for some.
Yeah, growlers.
Yeah, I don't know.
I'm not sure what it's.
But it's a good question.
You know what?
I look forward to Rett's top five rivalries and the NHL coming up later.
So this is the second of four meetings.
That was Kevin Ball.
You saw the picture there.
Big tall ball.
Big ball.
second to four meetings, flames won that first one, six, five and overtime on the opening night.
Beautiful goal by Connors Air.
8 o'clock start.
3 and 4.
Flight home from Buffalo.
Play Buffalo, fly home from Buffalo.
Play the Kings, fly to Vancouver, play the Canucks, fly home over a kind of a four-day stretch.
It's a lot.
That's a lot.
That's coast to coast right there.
Yeah, yeah.
Quinn Hughes playing well, seven points in his last four games.
Jake DeBrusk, he has started to score three in his last four,
and we've already kind of touched upon.
J.T. Miller, maybe struggling, maybe injured,
and Elias Pedersen, it's Milk Carton.
Cannot find the guy.
That's going to get.
Yeah, it's a thing.
I don't know what word to use, but that can't continue.
Is it kind of, well, it can't be.
I was going to say, is it like the Huberdow thing here,
where he's making big money,
but now the expectations are just low
and you don't really shit on the guy anymore.
It's weird.
I was thinking the same thing,
but I'm like, he's young.
Yeah.
Like he wants to be a superstar in the league
and he's young and like Gretzky comparisons
a couple years.
What are you?
I'm going to keep an eye on that tonight.
That's a good idea.
So when we do the show tomorrow,
I'm going to have my synopsis and analysis.
What is what is going on?
The Canucks
lost to the Oilers 7-3 the other night.
Mentioned that. Game two of a six-game homestand.
We'll see what the goaltender situation, all that sort of thing is.
Talked about lecrumaggy coming in.
Brock Bester out indefinitely.
Should be a good game.
No, Anthony Mathia for the Flames.
We touched on this earlier.
He is done for the year.
ACL surgery.
So you got a Manta jersey.
You're not happy.
No.
Hope you wore it.
You could still wear it, but he's, yeah.
if you're waiting for him to do something special,
to be waiting for a little while.
Hockey story from yesterday.
Carolina beat Vegas 5-2,
first home loss of the year for the Vegas Golden Knights.
Cains are on a real, you know what they are,
Rhett?
They're a wagon.
I know you like that one.
They have won nine of 10.
They're 11 and 3 overall.
Peter Kochetkoff in the net.
He's won seven straight,
8 and 1 record 2.4 or 5.
Carolina Hurricanes.
maybe just maybe this is finally the year they break through that way for the carolina
win a pig stanley cup final let's go more on the jets in a moment rivalry yeah huge rivalry
uh the avalanche beat the predators three two in overtime san gerard got the o t winner the abs are
eight and eight they've won two in a row and three or four they're starting to get it going but the
predators if you're waiting it doesn't seem like it's coming four or five they've lost now
there'll be some real good players could be available from the net
Nashville Predators come trade deadline.
Yeah.
We have to pick some guys up if you're another team.
They already put Fabro on waivers.
He was claimed over the weekend and Barry Trots already threw out the, if we don't get it going,
we're maybe going to kick in our rebuild deal here.
It has not struck fear into them.
He's not afraid to change or veer off the path, I guess.
No, I know.
Stamco's and now we're rebuilding.
Yeah.
Well, it's interesting.
You called it kind of right.
You were again,
you were front of the bus on this one that don't really like the moves,
don't see the need for them.
You guys had that big turnaround.
Everyone talked about it.
The U-2 concerts canceled,
and then you went on a real tear.
And yeah,
you didn't win in the playoffs.
But it looked like you had the makings of something special.
You came together.
And then you added a bunch of guys.
Spent a whole bunch of money on July 1st.
Maybe a concert.
Did your up-and-coming goaltender,
which maybe you had to do because you just that you got
sorrows there, but anyway.
I don't feel bad for Nashville.
You know why? Why is I?
I live in Nashville. They do live in Nashville.
I think most of them would, right?
Yeah.
You would live in.
Legend Albuquerque or something.
Dallas beat Pittsburgh 7-1.
Pittsburgh's terrible, Dean.
Dallas scored six straight in the first period.
Ooh. In the first.
That's right. Six on 12.
No, boy, no.
That just said second.
guessing that deal now.
Sid.
Yeah, there it is.
End of the first six.
Zip.
Joel Blumquist,
three on eight.
And then who's the other goalie there,
Jack, for the,
our boy needle deck.
Right.
He came in a lot better.
Dushain, a goal and two assists.
Hayeskin and two goals.
Dallas is good.
That way no.
Matt Fe,
Mischoff was benched,
healthy scratched for a couple
games in Philadelphia,
came back,
had a goal and an assist.
and a goal in the shootout. Flyers beat San Jose 3 Zip.
Wasn't benched, was sat. Sat.
Strategically by a very smart coach.
Mishkov, four multi-point games already.
He's played 14 games.
So he's giving her.
Flyers have points in three straights,
although I'm not sure how good they are.
Montreal beat Buffalo 7 to 5.
Cole Cofield, a pair of goals.
Suzuki, two goals to assist.
Slavkovski, three helpers.
that ends a six game skid for the habs.
They've gone 05 and 1.
One of those was that heartbreaker to the flames last week.
They thought they were winning and then they weren't winning.
Your buddy, UPL, Uka Pekalukin, and four on 18.
That's all good.
The story out in Buffalo.
No, it's not the deal.
You mentioned the Jets.
They have won all but one game to start the 24-25 season.
They're 14 and 1.
They visit Madison Square Garden.
in pursuit of win 15.
Now, if they get it,
it will have required the fewest games in
NHL history to do so.
So the fastest.
Be the fastest, yeah.
The current best is 17.
That was achieved by the 22, 23 Bruins.
Remember them?
They were the best ever.
The 0708 senators, the 0607 Sabres,
8586 Flyers,
2930 Bruins all got to the 15 win mark in 17 games.
The old 2930 Bruins.
The old 2930 Bruins.
What a juggernaut.
Yeah, yeah.
This should be a good game.
Rangers, Jets, Madison Square Garden, either way.
You're going to watch it?
Not from Manitoba.
The Panthers, meanwhile, Florida Panthers have won each of their last seven.
Can you believe it?
That's pretty good, too.
Pretty good, right?
host New Jersey, they can match the fewest games in club history to get the 25 points.
So they're not tired.
They're not hung over from the cup win or whatever.
They just, they're good.
They're just good.
Yeah.
The beach.
Connor McDavid will look to reach the 1,000 point plateau as the Oilers host the Islanders.
He can become the 99th player to hit the milestone and will likely become the fourth fastest to do it.
uh, Gretzky did it in 424 games.
Not bad.
Mario 513, Mike Bossy, 656.
And, uh, he'll likely do it before because he has right now 995 points in 657 games.
So can he get five points in, you know, when's it going to happen?
Peter Stassney fourth fastest as it sits.
But it's not going to take McDavid like 30 games to get us.
part of the Friday trivia with Pinder and Merrick.
What's which Peter Sassley?
Really?
Was it that part there?
Who was fourth fastest?
Is that what it was?
I don't think it was fourth fastest,
but most points by a.
By a Nordique.
I mean just second.
Anyway,
that's the hockey story.
The NFL.
Was there NFL?
They played this weekend.
Yeah.
Sunday?
Football on Sunday.
and then there was even a game yesterday.
The Miami Dolphins
beat the L.A. Rams, 2315.
Tyreek Hill,
three for 16 yards.
He did get a touchdown,
but it's not,
even with two a back,
it's not been a great year for Tyreek.
So this was one of the boards put together.
Arrested before the game,
and then games where you had more than 100 receiving yards.
Week one, arrested before the game,
and yes, did top a hundred.
hundred and then after that has never been arrested and has not taught 100 yards.
Come, cops. Do your job.
That's the, uh, no, again, it's, Jake,
I thought they were two a back. He said things were going to be great.
I know. Yeah, I know. Not ideal.
It's too bad. Yeah.
Now, it sounds like Daniel Jones may have played his last snap with the Giants,
Adam Schaefter suggesting that given Brian Daibald's tone after their loss on the weekend,
that he may well just be done with.
Jones that they're going into a buy and if Jones gets hurt he has a 23 million dollar
guarantee an injury guarantee yeah so they're hoping that if he doesn't play he can't get hurt
so there's real thought that that just might be it they are if the evidence today he's they get
the number one pick drew lock likely to be the starter after they come back from the buy that is
it's again one of those things where it's so hard to have quarterbacks and even going into
the last round with with him they can't pay him he's no good but what do you do what are we going
to do what else are we going to do i guess just pay him i guess that's that's what we do the uh chicago bears
they're no good they fire their oc Shane waldron not the coach coach is fine last last
uh off season they they they knew they were getting the number one
pick. They knew they were taking Caleb Williams. So we need to go out and get an offensive
coordinated that can really work with this guy. So they hired the guy who was in Carolina that
couldn't get it done with their number one pick. Great interview though, Dean. He had a
I guess. You got these winders and these books and these interviews and these states and
now Cliff Kingsbury is available. He was with him in college and they have a great relationship.
Should we get him? No, he goes to Washington and instead is having a great time.
there with his quarterback.
Anyway, so Waldron is out.
They've scored 27 points in their last three games,
which they've all lost.
Iber Fluse,
everyone wants him fired.
It's not going well.
This was Iber Fluse on his weekly coach's show
on I'm guessing it's the radio rights holders in Chicago.
You know,
we're looking at this week and this week only.
We do have evidence on tape that we've played good football
during the course of this year.
We've got to pull on those experiences.
Coach?
Coach, your cell phone's as bad as the offense right now.
All right, we'll put them on hold and see if we can reestablish.
Damn.
I mean, come on, man.
This is 2024.
Can we get a freaking landline?
What are we doing?
Seriously.
Get the man a phone that works, please.
We'll try to reestablish with Matt Eber Fluse momentarily.
I mean, you're on the.
I'm serious.
Cap and Jay Hood Morning Show.
That cap, you're not wrong.
Communication issues prevalent all season for the football team.
I mean, his phone lines is bad as Waldron's play calling.
I mean, what are we doing?
Any answers there that suffice?
No, because he will not, he doesn't want to use the word crisis,
but it is.
If last week wasn't a crisis, you are in crisis.
Kevin Byard says, I'm not going to go there.
If coaches could still.
everybody's having a hard time at Chicago, the football team, the football fans, the media guys,
the phone lines aren't working, good times.
What about you?
You know what?
It's good.
It's kind of what you would expect.
It's good.
No one can accuse you of being a bandwagon jumper.
So that's your modus upper run dive to be a fan.
I don't, I can't be a bandwagon guy.
I love the chiefs.
The chiefs are my favorite team.
you know it's that's kind of thing and you should appreciate this you know you can
being a bills guy you need a little pain i think you'd come on the bills train you go ahead i'm not
sure that that's a whole lot either loose your arab bus or air bus right yeah uh the cowboys are bad
i don't know if you've seen of what's been going on there jerry jones the lights are the sun's
coming in the windows and jerry's like ah we we don't need to put up any any gd curtains we know
where the sun's going to be we know how to do this the receivers like yeah i can't see shit in the end
zone because the sun's coming through the friggin windows i can't see anything things there though
like i don't i don't really know the circumstances but like what happens if you play outside
i don't know is the sun out then well i think that probably even then you'd have that that
angle of the uh this might have stands i don't know i'm not sure but uh anyway okay poor jerry poor jerry can't
get it done. They were beaten by Philadelphia 34 to 6.
Ooh. And this, this shot is, it means nothing about nothing, but I saw it and it just makes
me laugh. Because again, it's Sequot. So it makes you laugh at the giants for letting him
go and not bringing him back and how good he is and just watching the cowboys and how bad they are.
So there's a lot in it. Oh. Just the guy that gets, oh.
Crushed. Why are you hitting me? How's it going, Dallas?
Okay. I got it. I got it. I got it. What?
are you doing? Why are you
crushing me? It's that
point of the season in the NFL.
Except
for Jack
and the Steelers.
Everything
is coming up Steelers.
I'm falling in love with Russell Wilson.
I see
well, how
can't you? How can't you?
They won on a hard count
as the rookie lineman for the commanders jumps off side and Steelers win it.
How excited were you watching?
So excited.
I was madly hung over.
I'm not going to lie.
I fell asleep for like 10 minutes of this game.
It was a rough day.
But I woke up in the second half.
I had a drink and I was just fired up.
This is the most fired up I've been in years.
Russell's carrying the boys.
He looks good up.
there. Mike Williams gets in the end zone.
He's chirping the jets after the game, taking some shots.
I'm falling in love with Wilson.
I don't know what it is.
I hated him. I didn't want to see him before the year now.
No, you did not. Even, even at it because then the season started.
And when they switched, it was questionable.
Yeah, you did.
I mean, they were four and two. I mean, that's not a,
it's a strange decision, but.
Trust you, man. Tomlin.
Tomlin.
It's always Tomlin.
Trust Tomlin.
That's all you got to do.
But now we got a big one against the Ravens next week.
Do we have an updated Jack?
Jackometer?
Yeah, we do.
Oh, boy.
It's got to be through.
I can't imagine.
I can't imagine.
And congratulations.
Now, and while you're there, Jack, we can lean on you for,
for some inside knowledge here.
The Cavalry FC hosted Forge on Saturday at Atko Field.
We knew it was going to be a capacity crowd.
Pinder was talking about it all last week.
And fueled by the energy of the audience on hand,
went ahead by two goals in the first half.
Forge cut into the lead in the 52nd minute,
but the hosts would hold on for a 2-1 victory
and claim its first ever North Star Cup as CPL champions.
There's a drunk Ryan,
Pinder in a warm embrace with the skip,
the gaffer, Tommy Whelden, Jr.
Tobias Worshefsky named the CPL finals MVP.
There were 7,052 on hand, a new attendance record at Atko Field.
And one of those 7,052 was Jack, our producer,
who is there with the aforementioned drunk, Ryan Pinder.
I have a very pender story about this game.
I bet you do.
So Friday after the show, you said, do you want to go to the game?
I said, yeah, like, try and find someone else that loves soccer a bit more than me, but if you can't, I'll come.
Saturday morning rolls around.
I get the call.
I'm going to the game.
So I show up.
We actually have a good time.
This was probably one of the most exciting sporting events I've been to in Calgary besides the Flames playoffs.
It was jam-packed, like 7,000 people.
everyone was having a good time.
Lots and lots of fun.
Me and Ryan had a good time together.
But the end of the game comes.
The Cavs win.
They're celebrating.
And he goes, I'm going to get down on the field.
See you later.
Shakes my hand and leaves.
Didn't see him again.
Hey, pal.
See ya.
Real real?
Yes.
And there he went down to the field.
He got hugs with Tommy.
He was hanging out.
And I just went home.
I was like, you know what?
I'm not going to, what am I going to do?
Well, you shouldn't do anything.
He said, so he didn't say, hey, come with, we're going to go down.
He just said, I got to get down to the field.
And I was like, okay, yeah, fair.
Very important for him to be down there.
I'm sure everyone was excited to have them.
Yeah, the wind would not have been the same.
Yeah, he did or not.
He thinks he's part of it.
Oh, he does.
Yeah.
For Tommy to really.
I got a timed out picture of him and Tom.
Tommy like hug like yeah who took the photo so when I saw the phone I'm like oh well jack took
the photo so it clearly wasn't even you no I was not there wasn't even jacks we got some
random ass hat taking pictures of hey get I'll get I'll get a hug I'll get a hug Tommy I love
Tommy I just hate pender no I'm just so happy for Ryan yeah how how much he's put into this
congrats to Tommy and to everybody down there good game it was a lot of fun
2019 is that when this whole thing started trying to remember i was trying to think
they have been like it's their first you know first championship but you could not have
expected or hoped for this whole project to go any better the the venue is awesome the team
has been competitive to great to champions and and tommy's awesome he's a great ambassador for
the city he's a great ambassador for the sport
within our city. So awesome for them. That is very, very cool. And you would have seen it, Jack.
I've been to a few games. You would see that there really is a huge staunch following. And it's a
diverse crowd. You see all kinds, shapes, sizes, colors, ages, they're all there. It's different than
what you'll see to a Stampedeter game or a Flames game. They've got their own part of this city.
And it's the city's sports fan base. And I think it's awesome. So happy for them for sure.
are you now are you a big cavalry guy now?
I'll support them when I go to games.
I didn't really know that it was like the final final.
Yeah, yeah.
It's a big thing.
We did mention it.
Yeah, we talked about it a lot.
There's so many different finals and tournaments.
There is, yeah.
But league final CPL championship.
Russell.
Yeah.
Russell Wilson.
Yeah.
Hard to get past.
anything else in life.
And Mike Williams got a touchdown.
That's good.
What you've got going though, Jack.
Big weekend last weekend for your birth.
They get absolute shablammed.
It's sick as a dog and then shablam it up again and get ditched by Pinder.
What?
I know.
Wow.
existence you have right now.
A lot of life I've created for myself.
Right.
So he didn't text.
You've not heard of it from him at all.
No.
Yeah.
It was very like the game ends.
We look at each other.
He said, I'm going down the field.
Shuck my hand and that was it.
At least he shook your hand, that.
I need to go down on the field.
He needed to be there.
He had to be a part of it.
I had no, like, I was fine.
I wasn't upset about it.
It was just like, you know what?
Mental.
No, you're too nice, but we don't care.
But what kind of mental, like if you were a shrink,
they would know the right term, right?
like he clearly has a disorder.
Mm-hmm.
Like,
yeah,
it's a lot.
What world do you,
like,
what's going on in his brain
that makes him think,
I'm a big integral part of this.
I should be on the field with these guys.
Yeah,
I need to get down there.
Yeah,
like,
and,
you know,
it's twofold.
One,
he thinks they need him down there.
Oh,
and the other side is,
I need to get down there because there,
it's,
I,
I need to begin to party.
I,
I,
I,
I,
I got,
I got to get down there.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, multi layers.
It's an onion, right?
The Pinder onion.
It's a tough one.
That's the Pinder report.
Or actually, you know what?
Before the, now, Jeremy Roneck got inducted into the hockey hall of fame on the weekend.
And I, now, Jack, you grabbed this.
I'd heard about it.
I haven't seen it, but I told his speech was the highlight of the weekend.
Is this a snippet?
Yeah, a little snippet.
Really good stuff.
Here, J.R.
In 1988, the Blackhawks drafted me eighth overall in the first round.
In surprising scene, I was only 5, 10, and 150 pounds.
I'm convinced the deciding factor of their pick came the night before the draft in a restaurant bathroom.
Standing next to Mike Keenan at a urinal, he oddly asked me,
you have any balls, kid?
Feeling a bit uncomfortable because of the current situation.
I said, enough to play for you.
Enough to play for you.
Thank goodness he didn't look over to Divider.
I might not have been their first pick that year.
Who's in the background there, Dee?
Dom.
We got a few people there.
We got a young, we got a young D. Suts.
We got a young Dominic Hachick.
Is that, who is that guy with this?
Is that Michelle Goulet?
I think that's Gou.
We got a young Roan.
looks like Steve Larmer under the arm of Mike Keenan there.
And that's the old Chicago.
I understand it's maybe the picture, whatever,
but does that not feel like the crowd is right on top of you in those old buildings?
Like they're crammed in and it looks like they're,
I mean, they're all right there.
Yeah, that's Goulet.
And 32 on the far left, that would be Steve Thomas,
even though you can't see him, but I'm pretty sure Steve.
Stumpy War 32.
But young suts.
What could grass is J.R.
and whoever else went in.
What a weekend.
What a weekend.
And I saw this morning your buddy,
Jerome McGillop,
he's part of the
I saw that too.
So I've got a chance now.
Yeah.
Me.
Could be,
could be debated.
You definitely don't have a chance.
What about,
well,
that your chance is absolutely as hard as Shay Weber did.
What?
I'm not in that.
category? Similarities. Like, yeah, Western guys played in the Western
League. Second rounders that should have been drafted higher. Yeah. Right.
Played for a few different teams. Three. Yeah. Came up short in,
you know, the ultimate prize, but did everything that they could to
to help their teams get there. Good point by you.
should we call Jerome and start lobbying?
Because I'll be there.
If we want to start out of a ground swell.
Yeah.
I'll be there for you.
No, I don't like crowds.
Speeches.
Okay.
Oh, scratch that off then.
Good to know.
And finally,
uh,
I feel like, uh,
this is something that could happen to me if I,
if I was ever on Wheel of Fortune.
Because I, my, my,
my brain works, we take shots at Pinder,
Mine's no better.
I names, numbers, math, all that sort of thing.
It's not my wheelhouse.
I feel like this could have happened to me
if I were ever on wheel.
I like to buy you.
Well, you're going to get three U's.
I like to solve a puzzle.
Okay, well, let's hear it.
Treat yourself a round of sausage.
I'm sorry, that's not it.
Over to Katina.
I like to solve.
Okay.
Give yourself.
A round of applause.
Yeah, that's it.
Although Will,
are kind of like yours better.
That sounds better than just clapping right now.
Treat yourself.
A round of sausage.
That's not an S.
No.
And treat has more than four for sure.
Okay.
What else?
Never heard.
That is so good.
It's so good.
He got halfway through and he realized it should be treat yourself to a round of.
Oh.
And now that I think about it, I don't know that I've ever heard the saying treat yourself to a round of sausage.
What's going?
I got to get to know this guy.
All he's thinking about is sausage.
No, I know.
He's a sports fan.
I need to know where he's from.
Now, Jack, do you start again?
Let's take a look at the guy.
because guaranteed he has treated himself to a round of sausage.
Yes. Polish, farmer, Ukrainian.
He's done it all.
I like to buy you.
Yes, there he is.
Three U's.
I like to solve the puzzle.
Okay, well, let's hear it.
Treat yourself a round of sausage.
I'm sorry, that's not it.
Over to Katina.
I like to solve.
Okay.
Give yourself a round of applause.
Yeah, that's it.
That's it.
Awesome.
Not as good, though.
Yeah, I like his better too.
Oh, boy, Will.
That poor bugger for the rest of his life.
Oh, that sausage guy from Wheel of Fortune.
His buddies are loving it.
Can you imagine?
One of your buddies, hey, our buddy Will is getting on Wheel of Fortune
and then pulls out, treat yourself around a sausage.
Oh, man, that's good.
I'll tell you what, though, if I owned a sausage,
I'd be getting that guy.
Let's get him in an apron.
We treat yourself around a sausage.
We need hats and shirts and Will's picture,
and we want to partner with you with.
When I treat myself a round of sausage,
it's Johnsonville Brats.
Of the week.
Yeah.
I figured you might enjoy it.
That's the Pender Report.

treat myself around as honest.
Let's do for our buddies at Bet365.
Every week we get into the football and it's tough.
It's tough to do because we are,
we make picks on Friday,
sometimes Thursday,
but Friday for games that don't happen until Sunday.
A lot of things can happen.
But we persevere.
Bet 365 is the world's largest sports betting platform.

It's because we care about.
you whatever the moment it's never ordinary at bet three six five we put our picks in last week
and here's the here's the records now as we sit through whatever is week 10 how did the what
how did i go down to jack yes we're going to have to call jack's math into into no no no you
went one for uh one for three it was no i was two for three i thought you had the jump
Giants.
I had the Giants, but then I had the Chargers and the Eagles.
No, you're the Vikings.
I got the Vikings on.
I'm looking at the screen.
I've got it.
Every time we do this now, I have it set where I'm going back and looking.
You had Chargers minus seven and a half, Vikings minus seven, giants minus six and a half.
It was a rough week for all of us.
We all went one and two.
I was sitting there.
Well, yeah, I had the Eagles.
And I had, yeah, okay.
Well, the Giants, man, that was a, I guess, a bit of a bad read.
But, you know, Europe, okay.
And then watching, I knew I had the Chargers.
yeah they're cruising and the eagles well yeah this is a no brainer
so you're at 21 and nine yep despite a one and two despite a one and two
this was my week to get you had a couple of the same picks didn't you you had the
nineers with the bills then you guys were all on the the Vikings and they they couldn't cover
no how do you they score 12 yeah they scored 12 what 12 yeah
12 Europe son of Europe
Germany all and all aside take my picks out of it
the other three boys are doing very well
doing very well now did you take the Steelers
no I didn't we talked about it before I'm going to have to rethink
of a bunch of things or you yes you can't
the Steelers are doing actually yeah I can't left their right
your record here is great and the Steelers are rolling you can't
Yeah, what are you talking about?
No, you need to keep getting whatever it is you're doing every weekend, feeling terrible.
21 and 9?
It's amazing.
So the Steelers now, as we get to the Jackometer,
Jack's, it's usually a roller coaster of emotions for Jack.
The winds are great, the losses, they hurt more than anything.
But there's not been a whole lot to feel down about.
So we wondered about the Jackometer.
It went very high early, then took a huge.
dip but then roared right back.
Let's take a look.
After this,
oh, I don't know how that could be.
For the third straight week,
the jackometer has stalled
at a nine
despite an impressive record.
Nine is great, but
yeah, I think.
That was a big win. Commanders are a good team.
I can't go up though. We talked about this.
You can.
How can it? Because you're going to crash down after.
I'm thinking it's just a straight nine from here.
out until the Super Bowl.
No, you know what this morning should have been?
It should have been an 11.
I know.
Another win for us.
Dean.
So we just,
we have to shut up.
What's it say right at the top of that?
I know.
I know.
Because this is the one.
Well,
wait till they start playing a good team like the commanders.
Pinder was all over you.
Well,
you beat the commander.
I thought this,
boom,
you go up to an 11.
There's no rules for the jackometer.
Yeah,
there is no rules.
Change that graph.
No.
You should listen to how excited you were.
Yes.
Earlier in the show.
You're a believer.
I am a believer now.
That was a big win.
But like I said, I can't.
Yeah, maybe we just, there's no rules.
So, look ahead.
Ravens.
Yeah, if we beat the Ravens,
there's no way I'm sticking to a nine.
Yeah, they start fast,
but they let teams back into it.
The whole Browns thing, oh, is James.
No, no.
Like no one's, there's two of there.
The Bengals are done.
Yeah, Brown's again.
the Eagles. Eagles are good, but they don't seem unbeatable at the time. Chiefs will be on
complete cruise control. And yeah, the Bengals, it won't be Joe Burrow and like Chase Burrow. Those
guys won't be playing then. Jack. Yeah. I like what I'm seeing. Can we talk about the cheese
for a second? Sure can, buddy. It's going to bail out every single week. Like the 35 yard field goal
for the Broncos to win. And of course, it gets blocked. Like it just, every one.
It seems like they don't seem like a good football team.
I'll sit here and say it.
I don't think they're a good football team.
I saw Rishi Rice is still their leading wide receiver in yards.
But Jack, let me, let me ask you this, though.
Does that not scare you almost more that that's how dangerous they are?
I don't think they're dangerous.
I think they're good at winning.
I don't think when the state, I think they're done this year.
I do too.
You're right.
Oh, the refs call a.
penalty and they keep the ball and then they score.
Refs can't block the field goal
for them.
They're a team that finds
away. Maybe you're right. Maybe that runs out.
But when when teams
play poorly or
don't play their best and still find
ways to win,
usually we say that's the mark of a good team.
Usually.
But not in this case, apparently.
Bet, 365.
The world's largest.
sports betting platform.
And our favorite.
The app is awesome.
I had a nice little weekend.
I did have the Rams last night.
However,
I thought Puka, Cooper.
I thought it was going to find a way,
but did not have.
Oka Puka.
Oka Puka.
Whatever the moment, it's never ordinary
at Bet 365.

That's the scoop there.
Pinder back tomorrow, we believe.
It's Pike Pinder tonight on Afterburner,
a six, sorry, at eight o'clock start for the Canucks and the flames.
And I don't know what to expect.
The flames keep you watching.
They get, look, oh, this is going to be a horrible game.
Oh, they come back in the end and get a point or whatever.
And then yesterday, I thought, I was.
So what are the Kings?
Kings are top three or whatever in the division.
Don't see a whole lot, don't pay a lot of attention.
What are they?
They look very average yesterday.
The flames look very willing and able to handle whatever they threw at them yesterday.
And the Canucks are a good team, but we've seen them roar back against them.
And I don't know where they're at right now.
So I'll watch it at home.
Yeah.
Make a bowl of popcorn team.
Watch the game.
I had some popcorn last night.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I've been doing the order in the movie theater popcorn.
It's too addicting.
And they had the two for one on Uber Eats.
So you get a large and they get you a free large.
Oh, baby.
Free,
free plugs there for the Ubers.
So what's the deal?
You get a large popcorn for the normal price.
And it's like, it's called a Bogo.
Buy one, get one.
Yeah.
So I got two large popcorn.
for the price of one.
So what does that run a guy?
Even still after delivery?
I don't know if it's worth.
Delivery tip and gotten them.
It would still be cheaper,
but I was pretty fired up to see it.
Yeah,
I feel like maybe still the driver,
Uber and the theater are still winning.
Yeah.
With what you might be paying for one of those.
But hey, you know what?
UBU, Jack.
I like it.
I like it.
Whatever's working.
Uh, it's more than Wednesday.
Wednesday, not Tuesday.
Noodles.
We'll join us.
We'll have some recap on this matchup tonight.
Back to back victories.
Yeah, going to be good.
Going to be good.
And I anticipate I'll be there tomorrow.
Well, don't make promises you can't keep, do you?
No, I'll be there tomorrow.
Very cozy sweater and you've got a lot of boxes.
Very cozy.
I turn on the fireplace,
grab my big dog, snug it right up.
Be good.
See you, buddies.
