But we talked about donuts the other day. And you talked about ice cream sandwiches and then ice cream treats. Yeah. And I just wondered where the ice cream sandwich fell in on it. I feel like that's a good summer project for us. We have had some interesting summer projects. If we had to do power rankings on like frozen desserts or something. Right.

Like if we brought in. Soft serve ice cream with a donut. Fill them a little hole. Like they do with cream sometimes. Okay. The other night, my daughter was so wound up. Do you know what dipping dots are? I do.

Yes. Loves the dip and dots, which you get at rinks. It seems like it's a sporting facility of some sort. You put your money in the machine or you pay with your card, and then all of a sudden this big vacuum tube comes down, and it lifts the lid on essentially a deep freeze and then this it's little chunks of ice cream I guess is what it is she loves the dip and dots so we went to the other

one of my other kids and God there's so many of them he was playing lacrosse or something so she came for the ride to pick him up only to get dip and dots can I please have dip in all okay fine that's fair so we got there dip and dots machine out of order no which I would think has to happen a lot that's a lot that's very that's what I'm Vacuums and stuff. Never understood how this Dippendot machines is just out there

producing ice cream. And actually they were whatever needed. It was some. I would trust those old school shitty skate sharpeners more than that Dippendat machine. Mini melts. This one was. I don't know if it's a cheap knockoff or not, but she was very, you know, crushed.

Across the street is a dairy queen. So it was, what if we went to DQ and had some ice cream? And for, thing that popped into my head, score Blizzard, because we were talking about and I had one and dynamite. How long until you were passed out on the couch?

It was on the toilet. Okay. You passed out on the toilet? No, I was wide awake. Yeah. Everything was wide awake, but yeah, it's basically straight to the, uh, what about the peanut buster parfei over there? That's the last time. I don't like the peanut there.

Like, dude, is it necessary? I feel like I just fished them out. It was a young man's game. I think. I don't know that anybody does it anymore. But that in the banana split at Dairy Queen, it was, whoa, you get like the banana boat and then they're putting all kinds of fruit and shit in there. If you're born in the 1930s, I bet a banana split was really exciting. We just found more interesting shit. Yeah, like different dots.

Yeah. That's right. Honestly, put that up for your daughter, like a banana split and then like what kids would get at the mall. It's not even fucking close. Yeah. I don't know. I was, yeah, like the peanut buster part, the peanut.

There's like 14 humans on the old family tree soon to be 15. And it's like, we better be organized because the basement flooded over Christmas and Johnny organized. Disaster. It wasn't either. I was like, yeah, I'll come out. That's right. You sent the video.

Dude, it was pissing out of the ceiling for like two days. So everything got dummied. And so now it's the reorganized before this place gets busy all summer. Yeah. Who's the most annoying? Of the family? Me. No, you know what?

Florida. the nights were better. I thought. Oh, the Panthers had a good start actually, which is not what we expected. But I still think that they weren't as good as they had been playing and I think that the time off was probably the culprit. They had two posts in the second and then Duclair

scores right before the start of the third. It's I guess the one thing. I like Vegas. Florida did look a little rusty but I still feel like this is a long series. I like Florida tonight. Some value on Florida tonight. Yeah.

That way about it's the day. Yeah. Yeah. The, I did have something to say that. No, yeah. I mean, look, but Brovsky was playing at 950. We knew it, it's not going to last forever, but when does it end? Is it this series?

Is it next fall? Is it game one? Well, it looked like game one, he wasn't 950. You start doing the math on what 950 is. They win that thing. And at the other side, Aiden Hill. What a story. Goal.

I mean, I'll bring it up for the first time ever. Goalies are hard. to understand. Tough to get a read on. Really tough to forecast. A weird position to really get. In some cases, Patrick Mara, Martin Broder, yeah, you kind of know what you get. Very good goaltenders.

But outside of that, sometimes you think you have a really good one, and then you don't. And sometimes you don't think you have one. You just kind of rotate guys through and then, oh shit, we do have one. How about that? Sometimes Chad Johnson puts up 930 for 12 months and you're pumping Johnson for a three-year contract. Just pumping Johnson. Heavy duty.

You never know with these cats. You can't trust them. They're weirdos. I don't know. Because you think about it, I was thinking after watching Hill with that dumb paddle save and playing as well as he has. And they, you know, if I was running a team, that's what you just find a good, just have a good goalie.

Just get a guy who's NHL caliber good goalie and spend your money elsewhere and just that's, and then you remember teams that don't have a goalie. It's like, Christ, okay, first thing we're doing as soon as we get a chance is getting a number one goalie because I'm tired of just having. average NHL goaltenders. Dude, look at the oilers. It's like you had Smith and Koskin in last year, and it's like, okay, Skinner's going to come and be the backup,

five times five for Jack Campbell, goaltending sort of. No. No. And Skinner had a great regular season. It was just okay at best in the playoffs. And Aiden Hill, anyone could have had for a fourth rounder. There is no roadmap.

Like, if we had said one thing about the Vegas Golden Knights ahead of the playoffs, be like, I'm worried about the goaltending. What's their greatest strength? Strengthen. And all year, even with Lombson. The start of the year. Are they really going to go with this guy?

Win the division, win the West. It's a fourth. Stanley Cup final, three games away from a championship. And it wasn't always that way, because remember they came in with Flurry. Fleury was great. Then he goes. Bob Lennar. They tried the Bob Lennar thing there.

How much is a game tickets? How much am I going to buy tickets now? Do I wait? How do I do that? And then there's this one. Maybe. So it's kind of, I almost would, I'd believe it if you, You told me, you drive to the airport and just go to the desk and buy a ticket.

So I used to go back to training camp. Go to the airport. Hey, when's your next flight to Buffalo? Literally, when training camps, when I was playing in Florida and Buffalo, I'd be northern Saskatchewan. I wouldn't book. And one day I'd be like, okay. Yeah, it's time to go. It's time to go.

Yeah. Pack a bag. Hockey bag in your shoulder. Can I get a flight to an hour and a half in, walk right up to the lady. Can I take an agent? Yeah. Can I buy a ticket? Sure.

So you were flying from Saskatoon. Back in the day, when you used to pay day of, it was basically first class fair. So I was good. That's great. Yeah. Right in front. So you, uh, you're flying from Saskatoon and you're trying to get to Florida

Buffalo. I'm trying to figure out the milk route here. Like, Saskatoon to Calgary. That's not so much. Florida used to go through many. Yeah. Okay. And Buffalo had always just fly to Trump.

It's not worth connecting. flying Toronto, walk out the door, limo, let's go. Limmo to Buffalo, what's the tag on that? Couple hundred hundred, easy? It used to be, yeah, it used to be not like 150 bucks. Nowadays it would be stretch out. Three.

And we say limo, we think stretch, is it just a nice sedan? It was whatever was sitting there. Most people are flying day up. Hopefully I can get on standby. Yeah. And it'll be super cheap. Maybe I can get just, no. This is going to be $9,000.
