And then what the way, you know, dial it back. By the second and third, it's really, it really tails off. And then it's quite, I mean, there's really no point in us doing shows anyway.

But it's, I feel like it's actually the case now. Oh, yeah. It has been for two months. Yeah. Truly, what has been the, the biggest news of the off season? The pospousal for the,

unnecessary extension. When did, when did Ball get his deal? And it's like all these deals weren't going to be hard to get done and they're going to get done. I mean, the wolf conversation will become interesting if you start the season without an extension with him. Because it's like, come on now. That's your best player.

You build around guys like that, pay him. Whatever you pay him will be cheap when the caps at $125 million halfway through a maximum deal. Just do it. Yeah. And like Dostel got signed by Anaheim. That's a nice comparable in terms of a young guy, both rookies last year, strong numbers. He'll want more than that and that's reasonable. It's also got eight years, seven years, excuse me.

But I just, I think if you're on the whole, like, they're not a contender and you want them to be a contender and you're two way years away from a new rank and you're going to want to be able to put butts in the more expensive seats drinking the more expensive beers. Like if this team gets off to a slow start with a tough start to the schedule and the Rasmith thing, like you could just see there's a few dominoes. If they start to fall, you really could be in that. we're going to be able to pick a real stud in the draft. But then you also are just like, but look at them. They outplayed what they were supposed to do. They played for each other.

They didn't quit. They really didn't have a lot of eggs they laid last year. And their goalie won the more games than they should have. It's one of the harder teams to peg, I think, around the league. Yeah. And I get the building thing. Like I understand why that becomes a talking point. But it just doesn't, you're going to be what you're going to be.

Because there's a building being built in the parking lot and you want, you'd like to be better or what I, how about it in year or two of the building? It would be real. You know, like, I know what just, but if you're, if your prospects aren't at the level that they need to be, you're not going to rush it. It's okay. But yeah, you have to be building towards something. And it's.

And the kids aren't here yet in the sense that you'll have three pretty high profile prospects, like three of their top five in the Wranglers this year. But we'll see where Peret settles in. He's the guy with, he's really the only a plus prospect they've got. in terms of when you look at numbers he's posted, it's just super rare air. And I think they've got a lot of very good middle six forwards and centers even now. Look how excited right is.

But like it's, you're right though. Like if the kids aren't ready and it's a new building, they're not ready. But my point would be, you know who can step in and play right away? I think it's good. I think it's great because he's talking.

How much better does that trade offer get? Well, you're praying for what Pinder just said. You're praying that a contender. You bet a third becomes a first. February 1st, one of their contenders

loses their top right shot defensemen. They're like, oh, F, we need a guy. That's what you want to happen if you're in the move him sooner camp. Yeah. it's going to ratchet up obviously well they're U-10 which again is kind of those just put them out there and pick two teams I don't know how the discrepancy and skill level is but it's kind of to your point the amount of maybe unnecessary attention

we spend on it. So I was for your volunteer hours, we signed up. I'll go out and help with the time. I'll be at one of the timers for the drill. They have the cones. It's the agility drill. I mean, these are, and some of them are very young. They've been moved up at a level.

So it's like, you're five years old or whatever it is. So it's like these little kid faces behind these cages. Like, all right, ready, get, go. They have me and another guy with our official. apps timing because I one timer might try and screw oh yeah right I don't like little johnny or suzzi or frankie or whoever the hell's doing this so one guy's running the thing old jeremy's running them through the drills and they barely kind of know it's like no we got to come over here oh okay it and then do it again so two rounds oh yeah with two timers throw your bad score that's fair

it's a lot of uh it's a lot there that doesn't need to to be there is my thought, but you know what? Fair is fair. Fair is fair. And look, you can't argue with fair. Fair is a great thing. Getting your volunteer hours. Yeah, that's right. I give back. So, I give it. Yeah, yeah. So that was Saturday morning, a nice

Not on my side. It's, you know, this, I think it was the third annual, but they've done it many times. But they've really just started really kind of taking it serious. And this was on ESPN 8. I think Jack saw this thing.

Cornhole's big now. But, uh, old Johnny Boulder in his backyard. already had the grass was all painted it had signage up a fit yeah so the uh i better not said because it might actually be a thing the canadian senior uh seniors cornhole champion the c c cc it was on 20 25 yeah it was big deal big deal yeah um some odd numbers it took a while to figure out well we're going to have like two pools or how we've got nine teams what are we going to do this

how are we going to do this so there was a lot of round robin hand ring around robin oh it was a lot but then some teams are only going to get Two games. We want to have at least three games. I got the round robin. Yeah. So I was on a team of three. And first game through, I was, me being, you know, why don't you guys go ahead and play?

I'll just, I'll watch. I'm happy to watch. So I guess we didn't win that one. The second game, I've never really played cornhole. So I think I threw about. I'll tell you what, for the people watch and they're going to be stunned by that. Because if you look at that man in that picture and that. Back to the one.

then yeah the the youngster for father's days like hey dad we'll go what's father's day it was long ago Oh, yeah. We're going to go for a round of golf, maybe. I know, I don't need 18 holes.
