Hey, we're on.
Start the show.
Hey.
Hey.
Dude, we're live.
Go.
Start the show.
Three, six, five.
Game props, player props.
Money line.
It's never ordained.
19 or older.
Bet responsibly, Dean.
He's very excited.
Well, he's playing the role well, Dean.
Just turn on the fire.
Come on, Dad.
Let me go.
I go.
I'm fired.
It's 10 a.m.
It's cold now.
He's just watching the windows.
He knows what's up.
Welcome to the show, buddies.
We had a little dog pre-show there.
Retro had his pop and then mine showed up.
I said something along the lines of,
and this guy figured he'd come in.
Now, where's the other one?
Where's your brother?
Bear.
You're orphan.
Looks a lot like Rett's dog, I got to say.
Yeah, there's similarities.
Not sure why.
I'm not sure how that came to be, but here we are.
How are we doing, lads?
Welcome to the show.
Snow day.
It is a snow day.
It is a snow day.
It's a real snow day, especially in Pinders world.
He's got kids staying home.
Everything's cool.
I've got personal life snow and the actual physical snow, the metaphorical and the real.
Yeah.
I was doing some of this last night, just kind of, you know, stepping around.
And it's like, be prepared because there's a good chance you could wake if you're
Calgary, you could wake up in the morning and be like, what the heck is this all about?
What is, what's, oh, so I, I've just, I don't pay attention to the weather.
It's not proud of it, but I never, some people are like, oh, so what, what jacket today?
What, what, I don't know.
It's like, I'll wake up and I'll see what it is.
In this respect, it was like, oh, so like that snow?
Like really?
Okay, good, good.
So I threw out the heads up last night.
So not very often on this show we're prepared or ahead of something.
Yeah.
But today we were.
Good on you, man.
Dar MacBool was the insider.
He gave you a little tip.
He just, you're like, oh, I got a little little inter here.
Dar MacBool.
That's our boy.
Love Dar.
How many people know what you're talking about?
I would say a third of the audience.
Jack can put up a bowl.
We'll figure it out.
Yeah.
If you're, you know, Southern Albertan, you know Dar McCool.
Darne McPoole.
You have to be for at least 10 years, right?
Yeah.
10 years.
COVID was six years ago.
Jeez.
And he was a, he was a good 10.
15 before that.
You're right.
You're right.
It was the 2000s and early 2010s probably.
Yeah.
Tell you, it's getting old.
It's getting old.
I was talking to a guy yesterday.
He had surgery.
And he doesn't see this.
But he had surgery done because, like,
tops of his eyes, like his top
eyelids, we're starting to droop.
That's a blephroplasty, Dean.
My wife told me I've needed him for five years.
I'd love to look in the eye, but my
upper lids are incredibly large, hairy.
Mm-hmm.
You got extra skin there.
You're just saving that for later.
I guess so.
Yeah, I don't know what they do with that.
What do they do with that?
It just folds on itself.
That and the, the foreskin, they just put it into a
formalde.
I don't know.
A formalde.
hide, Dean.
It's delicious.
Keep it around.
Yeah.
We're here on the McClough.
Oh, boy.
McLeod Law LLP studios today,
separately together as we,
you know what it is?
We stay safe.
On under advisement of McLeod Law,
LLP, the good folks over there.
Austin said, boys,
I'd just stay home if I were you.
Keep those roads a little clear for everyone else.
That's right.
Yeah, we're doing our,
We're doing our part.
Snow angels.
We're doing our part.
Definitely doing our part.
We'll do the, okay, well,
we'll see what the super chat brings today.
Maybe everybody else is at home and they're,
they can't get to their computers.
They can't get to their YouTube's.
I hope the kids don't suffer because of it.
There's a chance.
All the donations coming in.
As we're live on YouTube today,
we will send to the youth centers of Calgary.
Men, how are we, how are we feeling today?
What's, uh, it's, it's,
it's, get your helmet.
on day. Yeah. Get your helmet on. It's a Flames game day.
What do we get to see? Uh, Doug Nalton, your old pal.
That was, boy. A gold medal winner. Mark. Mark. Marky. That's right. Not having a
great year.
Simon Nemich, who they tried to get rid of, but couldn't. Well, I think they were
loath to give him up for a while. He's young and good, but maybe it was part of
something you wanted to do with Quinn Hughes. That would make sense.
remember Quinn Hughes was going in New Jersey guys.
It was just a matter of time.
All right.
I'm just talking silly because that's how I feel today because it's snowing.
I was driving around yesterday.
I'm like, all right, we're going to win the draft.
So you're going to take McKenna.
Then we're going to trade Perek and Coronado for Mahaltra or the fifth pick.
I saw projected first round where Mahaltrow went like 10-11 yesterday, which really blew me away.
I was surprised to see it because I think.
Okay, well, then we don't have to trade for.
Yeah, then definitely keep those guys.
Package that Rangers pick with the Knights pick
and just move up to 10, 11, 12.
There you go.
Because that Vegas pick suddenly, guys,
if they get in, they will be pick 17 or 18.
They're out of the playoffs in any of the division.
And if you don't get in, now you're talking about a top 16.
Don't get in.
And there's a silver lining.
Maybe they win the division.
They're in the final four.
It moves all the way to the end of the first round.
Well, that means Edmonton's not through.
It's hard to know what to want.
I want so many things.
It's a win-win, Dean.
Just let it all play out for you.
There's a lot of things I want.
I'm not sure how many things we're going to get.
What about soup?
I want soup today.
It's a soup day, retro.
It's a soup day.
I've got a stew that I can heat up.
I did.
I was going to say, I took out some stew beef.
Nice.
I took out some stew beef and we'll maybe let that kind of bubble and
now I get the drive to Ladook.
Oh, dear.
And not have any of it.
So there's that.
I don't, I thought we were avoiding travel.
I'd avoid that, for sure.
Like the deep, hey, where'd you get that mug?
What, this mug?
Yeah, that mug.
Hey, you steal that from Retz?
I saw that at his house.
Oh, this is my mug I've had for quite some time.
Been richly deserving of this mug.
I have that mug and I'm, I've got multiple mugs that say the same.
Controversy.
You hate to see it.
Central Registry really screwed this one off.
Does yours say thanks for wiping my ass and stuff?
It does not say that.
No.
It actually had like a golden mustache like a thing in there.
Washed off.
The old dishwasher said you're not having it.
Oh, you love a good mustache.
Yeah, I do.
It's a high quality dishwasher you got.
Yeah.
Crystal Waters says things running just tickety boo over there.
Tickety boo.
That's the name of Hubert's boat.
Old Hubey when he's not cooking crab legs.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
He's out sailing on the tickety boo.
The Christmas pre-party party party.
Yeah?
Tickety boo.
Everything tickety, tickety.
This cheap prick's got a boat.
He's not paying for the crab.
He's crabbing out there when he's out sailing.
Maybe.
Yeah, that's delicious.
He's making us believe that he's sacrificed thousands and thousands
when he's hauling him in.
That Manitoba king crab.
Delicious.
He's out on a hobie cat in the Laskett's trying to catch these things.
Risk his leg.
So what?
A bit of a phony.
A guy's a phony, baloney.
What can we tell you about these New Jersey devils?
It must be frustrating, I would think, to be the devils.
They've been underwhelming guys.
Yeah.
Very much so.
Something's off.
Is it the coach?
I can't get a read on Keith.
I think I thought he was better than maybe he showed in Toronto.
I think they had the one series win in the last decade with him.
And then you're like,
Oh, once he gets out of that, you know, pressure cooker, he'll be better.
But this team's been incredibly underwhelming since he's got there.
On the opposite, and I have no reason other than my own instincts to comment on this.
I think it's all a bunch of phony, baloney, Toronto.
Maple Leafs, if you're part of the organization, you must be brilliant stuff.
Because he came up through that organization.
Oh, fuck.
Well, weird.
And there was the Dubus thing, too, right?
Yes.
Because Dubus is the GM.
They were together with the, whatever they are.
Duvus does look better since he left, to be fair.
I just mean, but that's.
Maybe a different GM doesn't fast track Keefe or whatever,
but because those two were kind of...
The overlap with the Marley's.
Yeah.
The other thought I've had lately is
Keith X player, foot X player,
Barubi X player,
who's talk at...
Clearly ex-player.
I'm a huge proponent of X-player's coaching,
but is now Marty St. Louis, also X-Li.
Ex player, yeah.
So there's the other side of the coin.
But some of these guys that we were touting as superstar coaches.
Yeah.
There needs to be more maybe.
No, you need more Dan the man.
Like Jack could tell you.
I don't know.
Or it's just a really tough gig.
Yeah, it is.
Well, if you were, if you, if you thought, well, our goaltending is set, we've got Jacob Markstrom.
And then he comes out with his 888 save percentage.
Again.
and a 3.05 goals against.
But again, yeah, well, we were talking,
when he was here that last year, well, he was 898.
Oh, he's over 900.
Like he just dip over 888 feels, you got some work to do to get to 900.
Oh, yeah.
And 900 is, it's just what you would expect, I guess,
when you trade for a high profile guy.
100% what you expect to and 100% what you should get.
Yeah, when you're paying.
You're not asking for too much at 9%.
not to, you know, throw it all on him, but he has not, Alan pretty heavily because he hasn't been the bell cow they thought he could be.
Another instinctual comment.
Instincts.
GMs, coaches.
If you see guys that have whined in a previous gig or location, shoo-shu-fuck off.
Does that like tic-de-boo?
That is like, they, I want no part of you.
Read deep into that.
Read deep.
Hmm.
O Mark was a Puts in Buffalo.
Unbelievable, but a Puts.
I was just going to say I should have bought two or three of those chickens.
Teamwork.
Swing by in the way out of town today.
I'm telling you.
Yeah.
Winer's wine.
There's some greasy wheels that have worked out well because we thought that was the case with NACIS
when he was in Carolina, right?
It's like the dad's getting involved.
I think it was his dad that was the dick the most, wasn't it?
And to be fair, he had been put in a better spot?
Nope, nope, but again, I think that's when you're...
On the planet, maybe McDavid, like there's very few spots where whiner or not, you would see your play elevate.
It's odd that you take the opposite side, though, Ryan.
No, I think you make a good point.
Like, there's certain guys you're like, is this going to be, like, Evan McCain did not get traded.
Not because he's not a good enough hockey player to help the playoff to it.
That was my whole thing.
Did you say it worth the squeeze?
Right?
When we were talking about Cates, well, oh, he's good, play also good.
But if you've watched, Edmonton brought him in, and then he was a poopy pants and
pouted and took some bad penalties.
And then.
Yes, but that's the point.
Eventually.
Yeah.
He wears his all come out for sure.
You're a fucking whiner.
A whiner is a whiner.
I swore again.
Damn it.
I'm on a roll.
I'm sorry, people.
Trying to do better.
It's like one of those double pumps.
He does the squeak on the way out as well as he's filling up.
I like that.
Markstrom's last year in Calgary, he got to 905 save percentage.
And then last year was 900.
This year he's at 888.
The starts are, at 35 starts for Markstrom, 28 for Jake Allen.
Now maybe some of that is injury related.
Markstrom does get dinged up here and there.
Yeah.
But when you feel like you're getting as good a performance or baby better,
you don't need to, you know, belkow this guy.
Those days seem like they're over for Jacob Marks.
If you were Craig Conroy, you might have picked the top of the market for him as well,
given that you probably weren't moving him until Wolf was ready.
But there was enough on his track record for the Devils to be like,
we're getting our ace here.
And he hasn't been that since he got there.
Interestingly, I'm looking it up.
League save percentage this year for the first time since 95, 96.
has dropped below 900.
Like it's...
Numbers there.
Lots.
Mm-hmm.
So it's a bad year for him.
But I think we used to think 9-10, 9-10, 9-0-5 was average.
Now it's under 900, which is wild, but he still haven't...
But the point of it is that you didn't pick up Markstrom to come in and be an average goal.
No, never mind below average, which he's been.
Yeah, I'm with you. Yeah. He was going to bump you and get you over the top.
He was supposed to take you to the promised land. And I'll be on.
That was one of his best signing.
Yeah, he was the top of the market free agent, him and Tanna of the same summer.
They were, if you were looking for a goalie, the Oilers were that summer as well.
He took a touch less to come to Calgary.
Like, that was a good signing.
And at the end of it, you flip them for what ends up being Rushney and Ball.
That looks pretty good.
Yeah.
The other thing is too.
You're number two center for a long time.
Yeah.
Top four defensemen for a long time.
And we kind of get bogged down in it sometimes.
As soon as things are done, we move past them very quickly.
Like you say, was that top of market?
hard to tell.
It seems like there should be a lot of teams out there
that would want a goaltender at that time.
Drake and Marksman was viewed as a top tier
gold tender.
They don't come off and become available very often.
Yeah.
He's 36 years old.
It would have been another aging guy
that Conroy would then have to be dealing with
if he would have put it off or...
And Wolf was right.
You had to give Wolf a kick at the can at that point.
He just dominated the A for three years and it's like, okay,
like can we clear the path?
We have to figure out if this kid's something or not.
Godroy is brilliant.
That's all it is.
It's all it was.
Connie Fiddons.
It's ever going to be.
There's, there was another stat I saw.
Since the trade
of Rasmus Anderson to Vegas,
nobody has fewer regulation wins,
wins than Vegas.
They're terrible losses, one of the two.
They're not good.
Nope.
They're out of the playoffs in any other division.
Isn't that wild?
They're not disjointed.
And totally beatable.
Yep.
Now, maybe they crank it up like Edmonton,
may have just done in the last week, but it
is not inspiring. I'm just
looking here at the devil's tomorrow. I'm more
of the Rocky Balboa type guy
where it's the, I have the Tiger, the young
guys coming up that are going to step it up
and put a charge on like Seattle
who we don't like, San Jose
who we love. I look at those teams and go,
they're more likely.
Anaheim. Yeah. Well, Anaheim's already in and leading
a charge. I think they're going to
I'm saying to take a spot
from Edmonton or Vegas. I think
What are the dumb kids.
Remember, like if you're under 25, you're an idiot.
You don't even know.
The brain doesn't even work right.
You're just having too much fun.
Yeah.
What do you mean?
It's like Jovanoski,
crushing Lindrosse and Lemieux.
What do you mean?
I'm not allowed to hit those guys.
They don't have to worry about kids and school and family holidays and stuff.
They're single young men.
They can just focus on plain guilty and having fun.
I thought about this last night.
Somebody had posted something on,
on Twitter or whatever about since the Vegas Golden Knights picked up Raspus Anderson.
And I forget exactly what it was, but it's, you know, their five-on-five play has not gotten
any better or has deteriorated. The record has not been very good. And we go back, not to say
that should they have done the trade or not, what is Raspus Anderson's mindset right now?
Yeah, because we thought an extension was automatic. Now, it's still Vegas and Texas.
taxes and climate and building and it's still Vegas.
But it doesn't feel, to me, from a million miles away,
quite as automatic as we thought it was going to be.
100%.
Two things.
Is Vegas in love with Rasmus Anderson?
Now, I don't think Raspus Anderson has anything to do with Vegas's wins or losses,
which maybe is a, you know, a knock on his play.
Maybe that's the idea is you're supposed to come help him.
But Pinder brought it up all year.
They have not won games in regulation.
have not played well.
Like they haven't been a dominant force.
No.
And is Vegas won him back?
I would think when you went there at that
vent at that juncture, you're like, I'm going to a contender.
This is going to be great.
They got to figure out where to put this dead protrangula money to open the space to
resign him.
So we'll deal with it later.
We already got close to a deal with Boston.
So we know what the market values you at.
And it's just going to be a matter of time before they sign because they're going to be good.
They'll be a long playoff run.
He's going to be a huge piece with a missing Petran.
Angelo. Now he's looking not as good as he did in Calgary, and they've been
underwhelming. I mean, both parties, if they have colder feet than they did, that would
make a ton of sense. Like, are you just locking him in at, you know, eight times eight?
Just as you're wondering, like, what are we? Are you in your prime still? Because it looked like
you were in rea added you, but now you just look like a guy. Well, you got to know their,
their depth. I don't know what they have coming up. I don't know what they,
You know what I mean?
But you might sign him just because it's like, well, we've got the money and we've got to do something with it.
And your pot committed a bit with what you feed up to get him.
Maybe you just say, okay, it's not pretty, but we're already.
But you might be able to grind him for less than what he hoped to get.
Maybe.
And if he feels like they're trying to grind him, he's like, well, I know what I can get from Boston.
Imagine if he gets less than what the flames would have offered him when they were still doing that song and dance?
Yeah, that didn't sound like that serious this year.
But yeah.
But again.
Yeah.
It all kind of came up the other night because
Pod Coles and it was the Oilers game, of course.
The Oilers media jump on it.
But to be fair, it doesn't mean it's incorrect.
It was Gregor who had one of the tweets, Raspus Anderson.
Surprising how average and below average at times he's looked since joining Vegas
in 15 games outscored 2011 at 5 on 5.
That's not good.
You're supposed to be at sea level at worst when you're on a team like that.
They're goal-tending shit too.
Yep.
There's some of that in there.
The P.D.O. would be dog shit if you want the nerd numbers for it.
Yeah.
And some, he must have done a bit of a,
because there's a couple of different writers in Vegas
who have done a story this past week,
um,
that his wife and two kids are still in Calgary.
I wonder why that is.
Because when you go,
what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,
Steve.
Got it.
I wonder, like,
it's,
I don't know that you'd have a house.
Like,
do you want them to live in the hotel with you here?
Like,
I think you probably just try to get the season done with and then get so much money.
You got so much money.
You can rent a condo or anything.
I think it's none of our effing business.
I caught myself there with the effort.
Fair enough.
We don't need to comment on what his personal choices are.
Yeah.
And again, you talk about the importance of having young hungry guys on the team.
They've done well with some lesser known not top end prospects.
He's getting some big boys in the bottom of their lineup.
But like they've traded every first ever.
Cody Glass, their first ever gone.
Rosa didn't make it.
Krebs.
He's in Buffalo.
Brennan Brisson.
He's been moved.
Zach Dean.
Don't know who you are.
Like it's, if you always move up first.
It was, yeah.
They traded him in the patch ready deal.
Yeah, it's like it goes on and on and on.
Like they just don't have, like they don't have a wave of top talent so much as they found some nice role players.
They're like, we're going to go big game hunting and trade and free agency and then we'll backfill depth with our system rather than, oh, we'll just wait until this kid arrives.
No, they don't have that.
Well, we've praised them for their approach to go after it and to run their team a certain stuff.
but now are we going to do we have to step back and raise an eyebrow and go okay wait a minute this this is maybe
not ideal maybe this isn't how you run a new age franchise it's a hell of a run but if you told me their
window was starting to close i could be sold on it the flip side is they still got some really
impactful players like when you said they do but doesn't sorry i'm older than you but not by a bunch
when i was playing the i'm serious this like the leaves and the rangers had all kinds of
of money. And when there was no cap, they used to buy everyone and they were older guys.
31. If I was down at the studio, I'd throw my
slippers on and show you what happened. Is there some of that?
Thank you. Thank you, Ryan. Like is there, look at those. Those are pretty nice.
You know, guys, I'm 31. I got a long-term contract.
Is this anyone specific? Can we attach a name to this impression?
I think what Rhett's saying is
when you solve your problem with guys
in the second half of the career,
you maybe lose a bit of that hunger.
Double-edged sword, right?
Because you know Kelly McCriman's thought process
that it would be, I will sacrifice draft picks
because we're always going to be a top destination
for free agents.
Guys are going to want to come here.
Freeing our older players.
Exactly.
But then you get into it and it comes back to risk,
we could use some mid-20 guys who are high-end.
Yeah.
Because we've got some high-end
players, but they're all, you know, Eichl is still tremendous. But Mark Stone is never going to play
an 82 game season. He may not have to, I guess, but he's with. You have to at some point wonder
about Stone's longevity for playing hockey. And I speak to that again, like I speak about
TANF where it's like, you will have to have a life after hockey. You've done one hell of a job
with your career. You've made a ton of dough. We love you. You're a leader, Stanley Cup champion. We
can't praise you anymore.
Please take care of yourself.
You look at that team and again, we'll move on.
I don't know why we got necessarily.
Because there's nothing else to talk about.
Well, there's a couple of things, but Vegas is port into the flames.
They hold the next two first.
Yeah, fair enough.
The, uh, when they came in, because we would, we've been like frothing over
Buffalo the last few days.
When Vegas came in, they had those no one liked us.
We're the, you know, misfits and that whole thing.
And they were guys who were finally happy to get some increase.
ice time and responsibility and play hard and that's why everyone fell in love with them and then
they win and that whole thing that's not this team anymore there's it is to your point right it's some fat
cats it's some guys that oh sun's shining and the money's coming in and the pools in the backyard
and wife is happy and she's going you know she's hanging out with her friends at the spa over at the
at the win i don't know life life's great but that does not have that same hunger when you played in
Vegas, it was, geez, get ready.
Because this is going to be a shit night.
These guys are ready coming at us
for 60 minutes. The crowd is right
on top of us.
That ain't it anymore.
Nope. So Stone 33, Riley Smith
34, Colton Sissons 32,
Sods 33,
Carlson 33, Hurtle
32, Nick Dowd, they just added, he's
35. Oh, Barboshev, he must be
young, he's 30. That's the
forward group, yeah. And to your
point, when we'll move on, regulation
wins, 21 for the flames, 21 for Vegas, at home.
They have won 14, they're 14, 10, and 7.
So there again, it's that extra time thing.
But that's a middling home ice.
That's not home ice.
There's no one.
Well, I don't know how to put stock into, well,
if they're in another conference or division or this or that.
Like, because it's like, well.
It's just, you roll the ice.
Yeah.
They're not.
Schedule's easier.
You're playing the flames and Canucks more than teams.
not in your division. Travels better. I mean, it, I don't know. I don't love, I get what,
I feel like it's one of those things that it's a bit of a crutch when you're trying to make a point,
when you want to. It just means you got lucky. You can't control the stress to you. If it was,
if it was made the other way around, it would be like, well, what does that mean? Well, every other
team is playing in this division and in this conference they have, both teams are playing in the same.
I just, I don't know. I don't, I don't get more. You get more easy games. That's it.
Yeah. Like, you get to play Calgary and Vancouver eight times. Teams in the East,
skip them twice. Those are the two worst teams in the league.
Was it the Atlantic that's...
Atlantic doesn't really have a bad team, do they?
Like, who's the bottom? Toronto?
They're like, before there are eight losses in a row,
then it's nowhere near where Vancouver...
What an absolute S show it is in Toronto, too.
Like, are they cleaning house? Are they going to just do a clean sweep where it's
Matthews, Barubi, and freaking Trilliving all just...
Well, I saw, I forget who it was that wrote yesterday.
and that was his point.
He was like, you heard it here first.
Next year it will be.
Now, he did say Matthews won't be the captain.
He didn't say they'd be gone.
Really?
He's like they'll have a new captain, a new coach,
and a new GM.
Is this a hot take or is this?
I don't know how you take away captain's see.
Yeah, if he's, if he's there,
if he's already a bit of a pouty pants.
And this is where I go back to where I started.
GMs, coaches,
pay attention to the water pants because he you're plenty of praise stop your wins in
plenty of praise for him oh he's the best 200 foot center in the n hl he was unbelievable in the
olympics yeah i didn't notice him yeah he's probably check there it's yeah and that's fine
it's fine if he was playing a different role but is he that not the second highest played
paid player in the league probably yeah not even close off yeah it's not even it's not
he is not there last year or this year.
No, I agree.
He's not having great years.
And look, when you're on a team like that, everyone looks worse.
Like, would anyone be surprised?
No, no.
Let me finish.
Like, to your point, if he changes scenery,
would you be surprised if he returns to 55 goal, top three center in the league,
awesome at these?
I wouldn't.
I would not be surprised, but shame on him.
And he's a captain.
If you're capable, that you're the job.
Bob is. It's the only me yoken and thing. Oh, 100 points. Yeah. Yeah. And you know what? It's, it's one of those things to me. It, so Tavares is the captain and Matthews is their best player. I don't know. Maybe sometimes it works, but I'm, I am not a proponent of the, maybe this will turn him into a leader. Let's put the sea on him. Like when Jerome gets the sea from Connie, it's, well, this guy's the heartbeat of the team. This is our guy. Right. And I think it happens.
and sometimes.
Well, man, you put the captaincy on him and that'll bring him out of a shell.
Some guys just aren't leaders.
Because I kind of sit and watch you guys go back and forth.
And I am on both sides.
Yeah.
Definitely you could be true.
Your give a shit meter could be higher.
But some guys are just not wired for it.
And I,
because the captain's and that whole thing,
that has not helped Austin Matthews game.
You know,
whatsoever.
It's not brought him out of his shell.
It's not turned him into a leader.
I don't see him in the media talking anymore.
maybe less it seems like.
It feels like they're hiding them now.
Yeah.
But when he speaks, does he scream leader of men?
No. And that's the thing.
You should have probably seen that.
Let the guy wear the A. Let him
score 50 goals and do the things he does.
It's like, well, he's not perfect, but he scores 50.
So we're going to live with it. But then when you're the captain,
there's another layer of expectation.
And it's maybe just not, it's just not him.
It's been tough here almost all the way around there.
the goalie seven minutes good.
The coach all of a sudden,
people are questioning when he was brought in.
It's like tough heart and soul cup winner.
It's over.
Captain, the leaderships group,
you've seen in question.
There's not a good season.
I think, sorry, I'm jumping on you a little bit.
But with, to the coach,
what do you do in Philly?
I don't recall his tenure in Philly.
He wasn't good as Philly.
How was it going in St. Louis till?
He was an interim and they won the cup and then they,
the one year was incredible.
That's where it starts, right?
Yeah.
That's what it is.
Is you come in,
you have a massive turnaround like that and you win,
that's.
This guy's amazing.
And I'm not saying he's not.
I think that Barubi and what they have in Toronto is the wrong mix.
I don't think his DNA matches his rosters.
That's the thing.
And I think when you look at Treliving's work and it's been a rough go there,
there's no question about it.
But I think Tre Living and Barubi are on the page,
the type of players that they like,
the type of teams that they like,
that's what they tried to build there.
It just, it wasn't built correctly.
When you bring in Carlo and you bring in
Lotton, like those are character
tough big bodies, but I mean, if your core isn't that
You brought them in, it didn't work, and you paid
a huge price to do it.
Yeah.
You overpaid for those intangibles.
And then when you tried to sell them this year, you got less.
And just to pivot, because the Leafs, it's the worst
season, it couldn't be a worse season, it's terrible, it's terrible.
It's a terrible.
The devils have one more point than do
the Leafs.
Yeah.
Leaves have played an extra game, but, uh,
that 18,
yeah, it'd be interesting to go back, uh, to the start of the year with the old
debt 365 and see what the odds were, right?
Like, the devil started this year, eight and one.
13, four and one to start this season.
It was like, okay, Jack Hughes, healthy.
Because remember he was hurt.
They, they're ready to go.
Got the goaltender, got to play a full.
Everything's, everything's, everything's all.
tickety boo.
And tickety boo, it was not.
They were very good until
mid-November, and it's
been a lot of losses.
It's a good roster, but something ain't right.
Because I look out on you still, you should be way
better. And you're not getting saves.
Honestly, everything we talked about, you could just say goalie.
Vegas's goaltending well below average
this year. Toronto's goaltending way down
from last year. Vegas is goaltending.
Still not where you thought it'd be with
Marks. You're one. Now, that doesn't mean there's other issues,
but, I mean, saves are the greatest.
deodorants, aren't they?
Also, when you get drunk and stab yourself,
that's not ideal, yeah.
Well, who would do that?
I don't know. Someone in Chicago, right?
Some people play through those things.
Some people have,
some people play through those things.
How was your toe drag after jumping on broken glass?
Did you miss you?
I don't want to bring attention to it,
but somebody calling a game at the Max Bell
said her apparently took a flyer at the old
retro, maybe a bit of a shot.
A pot shot.
Yeah?
Yeah.
Love to hear that.
What do they call it?
It's not a cheap shot, but it was shot across the bow.
Oh, is that right?
Oh, here, across the bow.
Who's this?
Excuse me.
Huh.
Retaining to what?
You'll have to do.
My goal scoring ability, Dean.
Oh.
Hard to defend.
So you might have been right.
Note the size.
Maybe it's not a shot across the bow.
Maybe it's an accurate observation.
You're not there to score goals.
Play a role, everybody.
That's what you, just do your wingspan.
Just hold your arms straight out.
Oh, yeah?
Well, get around these.
Get your skates on.
And you try and beat me wide, fuck-o.
That's what I'd say.
The wizard, Ray Witt.
Best poke check in hockey.
Is that what he said?
Wow.
Wingspan.
I hate your poaching.
Hate it.
Yeah. Thank you, Ray.
You know what Connie always said about you?
You know what that was with Rhett?
His angles.
He just, he knew how to angle you.
He was strong, strong and with his wing, like his long arms, but if he got the angle on you,
there was just no getting around him.
Like, you could tell he was frustrated because he felt like he should have been able to get around you.
So I don't know if that's disrespect or not.
I guess respect.
That's a great man's game right there, Dean.
Yeah, you can go over there because then I'll just go over here.
Geometry.
You got me beat.
Yeah.
You know me and geometry.
I do.
genetically speaking.
Yeah.
I do know you all too well.
Renfrew Chrysler, part of the, of course, the capital automotive group.
When it comes to Rams Sport, Renfrew doesn't just compete.
They lead the 60K sport, widely known as Canada's best deal on a RAM sport.
And that's just the start.
Renfrew recently named the number one Stalantis dealership in Canada for most new vehicle sales.
That is serious volume with one of.
the largest inventories in the country, including a strong lineup of Jeep compass models,
price to move. There's no shortage of options. Big selection, big energy in a team that knows
how to close out a win when it matters. Visit them today. Again, today, you want to know
how a vehicle is going to do. Perfect. Today's a day. 1920 pump house road southwest
renfrewcrisler.com on your intergoogles. If you want to go look at that,
take a look for yourself. Pump house road. Oh, there is. Oh, that's not far.
I would say that's centrally located.
Rather centrally located.
Yeah, so the devils, they had that great start.
But since then, she's tough sledding boys.
In the national hockey league as we sit today,
their 30 regulation losses is tied for third worst.
Vancouver has 37, the flames 32,
and then the Rangers and the Devils have 30 regulation losses.
That's bad company for a team that's supposed to be in their window to win right now.
Yeah, like you look at it and you're like,
he's here and Hughes, one, two, that is awesome.
Everyone loves Dawson, Mercer.
Timel Meyer, gosh, when he's on, he's a good player.
Connor Brown, nice resurgence after that injury
and coming back to Forman Emmetton.
Their decor, Luke Hughes, Hamilton,
Brennan Dillon's tough,
Nemich is young.
Like, I don't know why they're not good.
I don't know.
Yeah.
Is there, is it an odd season for
supposedly good teams?
Yeah, there's major, like,
they usually say there's a couple, like, a certain number of teams that weren't in that make it every year, the year after.
Like, let's call it five. I don't know what the number is. But this year, it's way higher.
Like there have been some. Well, you look in the east.
Years from teams that were expected to be good. The Capitals, Panthers, Devils and Leafs are all well back.
Mm-hmm. All playoffs team today. From the playoffs last year.
Panthers make sense because they're just, you're missing your best player the whole year and your second best player half the year and a bunch of other injuries, including a barbecue incident. It was not their year.
never mind the odometer that red always references, which is real.
They've played right into the end of June three years in a row
and a bunch of their guys played four nations and Olympics.
But the other ones, it's like, yeah, that's just, what a shitty year.
No one saw that coming.
But as we talked about yesterday, it opens the door, opportunity knocks.
For the, like teams like the Pittsburgh Penguins, Jack,
can punch their ticket to the postseason.
All right, Florida, if you're out, then why not us?
Why not, boys?
why not?
Why not, Jack?
It's convincing.
I'm a little worried.
Am I going to lie?
Oh.
A little center depth
being tested right now.
Yeah.
It's Ben Kindlebone for them this year.
Man.
You.
Yeah, the Capitals,
tough loss for them last night.
They're now tied with Philly.
The Flyers have two games in hand.
It's a seven-point gap for the caps behind Boston.
Bye.
Bones has got a crew that's looking way better than them right now.
And if the Sends could ever get a save and it happened again last night,
they're just not leapfrogging both those teams and a team in the playoffs.
See you.
It's tough.
Poor Sands.
Poor noodles.
Feel bad.
Yeah, the Nudder has to be around that.
That was supposed to be a fun year.
I think we all assumed last year was the, okay, they finally turned the corner.
And I think roster-wise they have.
So are we getting into a lot?
goal center. It's true. It really is.
So are we down to a one horse race here then?
If there are some games to be played.
Alamos is on a heater and they can do it a couple ways.
They can get into the metro or they can get a wild card.
Like you'll see second in the metro is the same as wildcard one.
So you could knock out a Pittsburgh if they hit the skids, but they've survived no Malcolm,
no Crosby for what, three games now, Jack?
They've done okay. Like it's not pretty, but they're getting
points everywhere.
But Lombus is rolling, man.
They'd be one of the best teams in the NHL over the last month.
What do you guys honestly think about Detroit?
I'm whole hum with Detroit.
I'm excited to see that building, but they don't wow me.
Like they haven't been in forever, but no, I'm not like, ooh, look at all the star power.
For a team that was bad for so long, they didn't really mine any stars.
I think Mo Sider and Lucas Raymond are probably the closest, but that's not exactly
dry saddle McDavid, right?
but they didn't pick
because they'd ever won that lottery
no you're right that's what I mean
they'd finish last and pick fourth
they'd have three poles of the lottery back then
and they'd lose them all and you're like holy crap
like that stinks that'll kill the guys got 33 goals
he's nearly a point of game 64 and 65
Lucas Raymond has 65 and 63
Dylan Larkin 28 goals
yeah it's a good not it's a good not great
kind of a team and I
I mean John Gibson has been unbelievable
for them if they weren't getting that from John Gibson and we're relying on Talbot.
So weird because everyone in Ampton said there's no goalies.
You couldn't find goals.
John Gibson?
Years he was trying to get out of Anaheim.
And so long link to the oilers.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
But anyway, so it's the devils tonight.
Yeah.
Now, we have big flames news.
I don't want to save it for the PIN report or not, but.
Well, yeah, let's, let's do that.
Yeah.
Because, yeah, it's, I guess, yeah, it's just, yeah.
It is kind of big news.
That's kind of big news.
Jack was very, were you going to go to it, Jack?
Jack, what do you want to do?
Yeah, let's go to it.
Let's go to it.
We're got to get Pender home too.
True.
I'm fine.
Okay, well, I'm going to tell you about Venova then.
Yes.
And then we'll get to the Pinder report.
It is the 12th of March right now.
So you're thinking, we talked about this the other day.
You're home and cooled.
You're good.
They got nothing on the radar.
All day is past.
Christmas has passed.
Mother's day.
It's two things.
Mother's day.
That sounds far away.
May, that sounds far away.
It's May 10th.
So what's that May 10?
That's sneaky close.
It's kind of sneaky close because you know what's going to happen?
It's snowing outside, but you're going to get excited.
It's going to be kind of spring.
The weather's going to warm up.
You're going to be doing stuff.
You're going to go in your backyard.
Hey, it's great.
Hey, you should go have some patio beers.
Woo, all right.
Let's do that sort of thing.
Whoops.
Mother's Day.
God.
Maybe I'll get her a gift card to the ship.
No, no, no, no.
Go to Venova.
No.
Actually, I spent that.
My tab got a little higher than I.
Sorry, honey.
Bought the gift card.
Very thirsty.
Venova.com is the website.
It is lab-grown diamonds.
Venova Showroom, the largest selection of lab grown in Canada.
What are lab-grown diamonds you ask?
Well, let me tell you.
That's why I'm here.
Anywhere from 50 to 70% less expensive than Earthmind.
And the technology that is used to make these beauties keeps improving.
It's more efficient, thus more affordable.
The showroom and market mall will show them to you.
Maybe it's a ring.
Maybe it's a necklace.
Maybe it's a bracelet.
Maybe it's earrings.
Did I say earrings?
Rings?
You know what it is, but it's lab grown diamonds.
In some cases, in, of better quality than Earthmind and significant savings.
It's one of the few wins that we as, uh, as fellows are known to have in the world.
Take advantage.
Don't sleep on it.
100.
And the parking market mall.
Viena Nova.com.
Go see Justin.
He's a sweet boy.
He's a good, good boy.
He's a day oneer.
He's a but.
He is a day oneer.
Yeah.
He's an OG.
Shouts to Vinanova.
Appreciate you, Vinanova.
That's a boy, Justin.
Okay.
So we'll have the news coming up here inside the...
With the...
The thing with the...
All right. It's time for the PINDA report for our good friends at Village Honda
where the $2 million buy-in event is going on.
Write me out.
They want your vehicle.
Maybe you got an extra hanging around.
Maybe you got a DUI, right?
You can't drive for a while.
Whatever, they just want your car.
What?
They're going to buy it.
Don't do that, by the way.
Ryan.
Maybe it's a lease that's expired, Dean.
At a different dealership even.
It don't matter.
Bring it in.
They'll give you a complimentary appraisal.
You can start the process at villagehound.com.
Maybe you're going to get a new vehicle.
Give them the old one.
That'd be a hell of an upgrade.
Northwest Automalt, dealership for life.
And Dean said it.
Today's the day.
Don't be test driving on a 25-degree summer day.
You're not learning anything.
This is a great.
It's a great.
Oh, really?
on this asphalt in the summer? Wow.
You got a load of bricks in the trunk.
It's like, well, luckily.
Luckily, the weather's good today because if it was no good out,
this thing rides like a boat.
It's game day. We know that. We told you it's the Devils.
Yeah, we pretty much drilled the Devils up on Flames Nation.
Lots of information about the war chest that Connie has a mass.
Note the start time 5 p.m. Special guest host on Warmies.
Me.
Back to me.
A real treat for you tonight on Warmies is me will be your host.
Noted Smarmy Know-It-All. Pinder will be hosted Warmies.
What do you have in store for us for Warmies today?
We're going to find a few little edges.
I know Maddie Coronado is always better in that tri-state area.
We'll see if we can't chase down some winners.
And we'll preview the game and talk about the news of the day,
which is Calgary Product Tyson Gross, signing.
with the Calgary Flames, thought by many to be the top college free agent.
He's returning to his hometown.
Brett?
Gross.
Yes.
Yes, Tyson.
Broose.
That lives forever now.
He's got a new player.
Don't go, don't overuse it, Ryan.
Nope, I just, I'm very happy with it.
It's good for sure.
Brett, amazing.
I don't have a soundboard.
I can't burn it.
The old shop I burn clips.
I can't do that now.
6.3.195 right shot center.
He's 23 years old, played Springbank growing up,
and he's completed his junior season at St. Cloud State University.
They're not into the tournament.
His season is over, which means he's now eligible to be signed,
which he was apparently yesterday.
What are they sort of like to do?
Do they get, are they beer drinkers, whiskey?
What do we do?
What do you do out in Springbacks?
Probably some fancy.
Well, I know a few folks.
out there.
Yeah.
Old fashions out in Springback, probably.
Here's the numbers.
Look at this.
Nice U-18 numbers.
It goes to Drum Heller.
Looks like COVID.
Not a lot of games there that one year.
It says,
screw this.
I'm going to the USHL and explodes in his
second year,
played with Cedar Rapids there,
and then goes to college,
where it really starts to come together
the last year and a half
where he is put together
a couple very nice campaigns.
His sophomore season,
25 points of 36 games.
and then this year over a point per game as the captain.
How old?
23.
Good for him.
Yep.
And look, when you get 23-year-olds out of college,
you're not minding future NHL stars,
but this could be a depth centerpiece for the NHL club
and where they place them and when we see them next to be determined,
but deciding not made officially up at the flames,
but everyone reporting it allegedly done yesterday.
Interestingly, I had actually earmarked this prior to the news breaking,
our friend Stephen Ellis at daily faceoff.com at the top 10 college free agents,
and Tyson was on that list.
Considered by many to be the top free agent on the board this year,
45 points is first two college campaigns.
He's nearly matched it this year alone.
Excellent skater consistently plays at high pace,
high quality chances, a lot of time around the net,
physical, smart, always involved, good without the puck.
Do you bag home rebounds or bang home?
Probably both.
You could beg goals, but you'd have to bang them in there.
Yeah, you'd probably bang them in.
You'd be bag and bags.
Bang them to bag them.
Yeah.
Either way, it's a good story.
Calgary kid coming home and Connie, you don't have enough centers.
Well, all of a sudden, Costania they add in the one trade with, obviously, Colorado.
And now it's like, okay, well, here's another center.
All right.
Keep taking cuts at centermen.
They're not all going to work, but by all means, collect some of these lottery tickets and keep scratching away, Connie.
We'll see which ones make it.
Good story.
Congrats to the kid.
He's earned it.
For sure.
said great citizen, hard worker, and a well-earned opportunity to not only return home,
but to a city and a franchise that has a huge opportunity at Center Ice, if he wants to take it.
There it is.
Thoughts?
I just hope his drunk buddies don't drag them down.
Is that what happened to you when you come back to Western Canada?
100%.
So you're going to play for the blades, are you?
You're from Saskatoon?
Oh, really?
I know.
We got to get this kid out of here.
That's great.
I'm happy for the kid, for the fan.
family for the flames.
Good work, Connie.
You think Connie was kicking his feet up?
He's got the moccasins on?
No, he's grinding.
You're taking runs in him saying he went into hibernation?
No, he's still grinding out there.
Another free agent to watch is T.J. Hughes.
He's a senior at Michigan.
Similar profile.
Not sure.
Not one of the Hughes brothers, but he would be another top center available, right shot.
From Ontario, did play in the AJ now at Michigan.
But Connie said it.
at the end of the deadline.
He was asked about college trade,
you said there's one major target we've got.
We're going to go pursue that as hard as we can.
There's one kid.
It kind of showed his hand a bit,
which obviously let us to believe he was confident he was going to get done.
He gets it done.
And that puts them at 48 contracts.
And when you think about Weeb and Castania,
and their season's coming to an end.
And if you're going to sign them,
that puts you at your 50.
I hope there's no tampering involved.
Usually when a general manager is that confident.
And I like it's tamper because no one holds his rights.
happy to chat with him.
Yeah.
He's got a family advisor.
It's a family advisor.
He's not even an agent.
Right.
Yeah.
No, dampering here.
No, it's no problem.
Nothing to see.
The flames won for March continues.
Tonight's their third of a five game roadie.
They will head to the island on Saturday and then Monday in D.
Torient.
Today's the day.
I would be, I'm a little worried today's the day.
I am with you, retro.
I am with you.
They've had a little bit, they had yesterday catch their breath a little bit.
probably got one of those nice
pastrami sandwiches in Manhattan yesterday.
They've been in the same hotel for a few days now.
Go see a play.
I'm not a play.
Maybe not a play.
The theater.
Same show.
Yeah.
Maybe some dancing.
Messier did with the cup.
Which I just hung around.
I went to see Le Miz.
Hmm.
Hamilton was wonderful.
Let's look at the devils.
Forward lines.
D pairs and goaltenders and injuries.
We'll start up.
Up front, here the 12 we're expecting tonight.
Again, a lot of players you'd like here.
This are Sennie Gritchick said a good start, a rather unknown player that's just emerged in the
NHL this year, if I'm correct.
Cody Glass, we spoke of Vegas first rounders.
Who's that third line right winger there, Jack?
Who is that?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Is that French, Jack?
What is that?
Lini Hamina Hall.
That's Lenny from the Simpsons.
I don't know what the problem is there.
Yeah. I'm guessing he's finished with a name like that.
Paul Cotter had the incredible start last year. He was out of the gate like a house of blaze.
Nick Bugstad is a very good journeyman fourth line center who's huge and doesn't really do a ton offensively, but he is a 4C.
And if any Datenov, who is in the news again today, remember the one trades that couldn't, couldn't go through.
He's playing right side, fourth line for the Devils on the blue line.
Friend of the show, Brendan Dillon. Oh, love him.
Highly touted.
Seganthaler and Kovacevic are guys they like.
And Dougie Hamilton, it feels like they've kissed and made up.
They weren't shopping them, apparently, at the deadline after likely asking him to waive in what would have been Quinn Hughes proceedings.
And everyone was in their feels.
Hey, Dougie, now that the deadline has passed, I just want you to know, we were never thinking of trading.
That's right.
Didn't even.
You were one of your guy, man.
We couldn't do that.
What are you crazy?
Number seven.
Did you tell him we tried this?
One in a heart.
Pay him nine.
Your agent said what?
Oh, he's drunk.
We should fight that drunk gas.
Warner?
Warner's your agent?
Oh, geez.
No, no.
Let's look at the Eastern standings.
The devils are not in the mix.
We showed you this earlier.
Oh, sorry, goalies.
Marksham Allen's been the tandem for a couple of years now.
They re-uped Allen.
It's been a good fit there.
Better fit the Jacob in a weird way.
And missing big tough guy, Zach McEwen,
you might not remember, but they went and got him,
I believe.
No, it was actually.
It was Curtis.
Remember Rempe,
who went and ran show there for a while,
and they immediately brought in a tough guy.
Curtis McDermott is who it was not second.
I take it back.
Stefan Nosen, and Brett Pesci's a good defenseman.
He's out.
That's the devils.
See what they look like tonight.
Come on, get them pumped up, Sheldon, Keith.
Stop shooting videos on the end of your doc.
Let's get coaching.
End of your what?
Doc.
Remember that?
It's like a tip.
Hmm?
Well, we'll move.
Lumbus, make it a push.
Jersey's not in that mix,
and there was not a lot of movement here last night,
although there was a big Sends-Habs game.
That gap separates.
If Ottawa had won that game,
they would have got within five of that three-seed in the Atlantic.
Instead,
yeah, seven points out.
Yeah.
Nine points.
Oh, dear.
That feels like that's in that insurmountable range.
Yeah, yeah, I would say that's,
Correct. Let's look at the bottom 10. That's where we find the devils and the flames. Devils, what are you doing down here?
Jeez. Calgary second again. Love that. 445 clip. Need a little more breathing room between those original six Rangers and Blackhawks. But so far so good, Connie, they have one win this month of March. Today is the 12th.
Yeah, we need to start getting, we need to start getting behind the Blackhawks a little bit. Hey, get some, let's get some win here, boys.
A little cushion, right? Insurance runs.
You don't need any more high picks. You got Bador.
You got plenty of it. It's time to turn the corner. Let's get some wins here, buds.
Come on, Hawks. Get her going. Spencer Knight, come on.
Hank some zeros. Let's go.
Finals from last night, only two.
We told you about that Atlantic collision.
An egregious goal out from Allmark in a spectacular save from Jacob Fowler.
The difference in this one easily could have been three two the other way.
They were wound up in Montreal, as they often are.
But quite a match last night.
Yeah, Fowler 32 saves.
Demadov gets the winner.
Habs, 8-1 and 3.
In their last 12, they've won 3 straight.
And losing ground on the Sabres somehow in there.
Capitals at Philly.
Yeah, two teams stuck in the murky middle in the east.
Flyers get four unanswered.
Caps have lost four of five, and we looked at the standings there.
They've tumbled.
I think the flyers are now tied with the capitals, and it does not look like either are getting in.
So that one is against the flames.
Was it last year?
What were the capitals?
When did they do the East last year?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Great year.
It's not been a great year this year.
And now Carlson out.
And we'll see if always back.
It might be the official turning of the page or maybe they run it back one more time.
They could even get Carlson and free agency if they really wanted.
Last night, some notes from these games.
Lane Hudson continues his incredible start to his career.
Third defense in a franchise history with a 10 game point streak on the,
the road, Markov and Larry Robinson. Those are two good ones. I bet you they didn't do it as 20
year olds or whatever Hudson is. Cool. Impressive. Other news from around the league, Austin Matthews,
Rett's going to like this stat. Since Feb one, Austin Matthews tied with Simone Benoit with one point
at even strength. Since that's a while ago, right? There was an Olympic break in there. So it's a little bit
nitpick, you know, it's a bit cherry picking, but it's March.
12th. That's a 10-game stretch with their season on the line as Michael
Destifano points out. Or Mickey Canuck if you'd like.
That boy, Nick. Two, six and two in there.
Yush is right.
Senators, not good news last night, but very good news this morning. This broke from
the NHL. Remember they had that first round pick taken away for the Dadanov.
Lack of no trade list. They moved him to Vegas.
It was still kind of murky, right? It was, well,
was he no trade list
you couldn't move him he said
seashed that whole thing and then
seashells sea shore all that
what happened was Gary said
and Gary obviously whether it's true or not
Gary Gary Gary's the judge here
said you know what Ottawa did not pass along
that trade list to Vegas
what's wrong
Money
like all things in life
it's all about money
How about I give you a million bucks
Gary will that
Absolutely Mr. Owner
I'll take that million. You get 32.
We have a pick to announce.
They will pick 32nd. They cannot trade the pick.
And they are fine. A million dollars.
It's the last pick in the first round.
Go ahead and win the cup, Ottawa. That's going to be fine.
I did feel bad for the new owner.
I did too. And I think the new owner, the moment he found out about this,
there was a hot press conference.
And then he realized that Gary doesn't like these things in public.
And he's been back channeling for a while.
This is very consistent with what they did with the Devils and Ilya Kovilchuk.
with his cap circumvention. They eventually gave that pickback first in the first round as well.
The $1 million will be directed to the NHL Foundation Canada, a league-sponsored charitable
organization whose mission is to strengthen communities and improve lives across Canada through
the game of hockey by among other things promoting access and fostering positive experiences
both on and off the ice red. He just glazed right over. That's awesome. Yep.
I wondered too. It's like so, are they splitting this three?
32 ways.
It's like, hey, Gary.
Canadian money.
You don't often see anything in Canadian money then.
No, yeah.
All right.
Look, it's a million bucks or whatever.
This feels barking ticket.
This does feel better, though.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, it never made any sense.
And I honestly put a lot of stock in when Kelly McCriman couldn't get a deal done.
He was out for blood and he was ready to point fingers and someone was going to pay the price and the league kind of played along.
And not unlike Kovilchuk, they look at it and they're like,
it really wasn't that egregious.
Like, whoops, we didn't fax you the no trade list.
Like, way more heinous things have happened in this league
under the watch of people that are still employed.
Way more heinous than forgetting a trade list.
And just if they miss, they still, they can't win the draft lottery.
No, they're not in it.
Because it's 30 second.
They're picking 32nd.
It's 32 and that's it.
That's all. They can't move it.
Okay.
Tonight's games.
Let's play the game, shall we?
Play the game of the games.
Little puck doku live on Barnbro.
Oh, it's a huge thing.
late. Joe Thornton leading us off
Sharks and Brum. Markle-Sterham. Yeah, thank you.
Capitals and
Sabres. Joe Juno.
Joey Juno. Is he still a pilot rep?
A pirate?
A pirate ship engine. Fire space. He's a genius
builder, yeah.
The Ducks.
I just kill it. I don't know.
Ducks and the
Toronto's.
Oh, I had one.
The Simone Benoit we just mentioned.
Geoffrey Luple.
We've made Tuesday.
That's the long.
Detroit, Tampa.
Steve Eiserman.
Never heard of them.
Columbus, Florida.
Whoa.
Close enough.
Hang on.
Pinino Cicerelli again.
Okay.
Columbus and Florida, this is an easy one.
Bobber.
You want of Vesna and Columbus.
One, two cups in Florida.
Let's go on to the hall.
Devils and Flames.
I believe that's a Curtis Lazzar.
Yeah, there'd be a few.
Anyone else jump to the front of the queue for you or me?
Bobby Holik.
No, uh, no, no, the defenseman, bone crusher, Bobby Dulles.
What about David Hale?
David Hale for sure, yeah.
Commie, although Coney's Jersey's system.
Yeah.
I don't know if he got games up or not.
He might have had a couple.
We'll have to.
Good enough.
That's for you.
Blues and Cains.
Rod the Baud.
How about Falk?
Justin Falk.
As he started in Carolina.
and then what's in the same blue.
Yeah, yeah.
Dean, this is yours.
There's a billion of them.
Oilers and stars.
Hmm.
Where to go on this one?
Go ahead, Retro.
Marsha.
Marsha.
I was going to say Todd Marchand.
Yep, good.
Flyers Wild.
Toby Peterson.
Jane.
Jason Arna.
A lot of points.
R.O., Flyers and Wild.
Ooh, did Dick DeLoree play for both?
these teams was Deloria Wild or am I
messing up there?
No, find something better.
You can tell the Wilder, a bit of a
He just plays over when I see them.
Yeah, on the same.
The Dake play for Philly?
Yes.
Wow.
Good work, Phyllis.
He was in Minnesota because Weimer told the story.
He was in Minnesota when Weimer told the story
about bringing his own bottle of wine to dinner and not sharing,
which is a phenomenal story, one of my favorites.
Rangers and Jets.
P.
Troops.
Lots of guys, yeah.
You could go with the return in that deal as well.
The defenseman that's been in Winnipeg forever.
Neil Piaw!
Tom Potey.
Oh, no.
Never a chap.
That would be an oiler.
Let's go Blackhawks and Mahmute.
I'm going Connor Murphy because I'm pretty sure he was a guy.
He was, yeah.
He used him a bit.
In front of mind.
Nashville, Vancouver.
Oh, who's that little tough guy?
Cliff Ronning?
Hortich.
Chuck, I believe, played both these places.
Ronning played both, right?
Ronning, okay, good.
Penguino and Canites, that's a Mark Andre Fleury, James Neal.
Jimmy, the gun.
And Colorado.
Phil. Phil.
Phil.
We've got cups in both places, bone sparks, rats.
Wow.
Colorado and the Cracken.
Who did they snipe out of the old?
Oh, Grubauer.
Zed German.
Who's having an okay here?
Finally.
Pretty good work today, guys.
Pretty good work.
Or the six-year deal. He starts playing well. That's great. Thanks, buddy.
Well done, everyone. Good work all around. Let's move. World Baseball Classic continues.
Some of these games feel uneventful, and other ones feel like you're a bloody circus.
This is Miami where the Dominican Republic has a billion fans rammed into their 30,000-something-seat stadium.
And this is Latimer Carrower Jr. after Juan Soto parked one, two innings earlier.
Look at the crowd fellas.
Bad news, torn oblique on the swing out for the season.
Incorrect.
There is still 14 years left with him as a career Blue Jay.
God bless you, Blue Jays for not screwing that one up.
He's good, they're good.
They're mashing home runs.
It's a scary lineup.
And the Canadians did get a victory yesterday.
Mexico let us down in our parlay.
The Italians went undefeated.
Why is he not playing for Canada?
He could.
Yeah.
I mean, these rules for citizenship are just,
Oh, yeah, I knew a guy there once.
Yeah, I slept on a couch in Montreal once.
You're Canadian.
They'll let you play for anyone.
But he was born in Montreal.
But of course, a proud Dominican and his formative years.
Whose dog's barking?
Oh, that dog's going to get a real beating if you don't shut up.
Oh, shit.
Gets that shock color on, huh?
I knew I shouldn't have asked because I knew that would be the response.
There's no dogs in studio.
And I'm at home, at my home, and I know they aren't mine.
So there was one answer.
I don't know what the hell of people.
the rest of the people.
Poor dog
just point needs to go outside and poop.
He's like, please let me out, please.
I'm getting that damn dog.
Go get your dog.
Here's the first half of the quarterfinals.
The other two games, I believe are on Saturday.
It's Korea against the Dominican and Canada, USA.
The Americans did get through despite the
near screw up of their
manager playing their last game like it didn't matter
and then losing it to the Italians.
But they are through. It's a non-event now.
They are huge favorites against Canada.
That game, I believe,
except for Houston.
There are your odds.
Dominicans, huge favorites.
Americans, huge favorites.
Okay.
Got it.
If Canada wants to win this tournament,
Dean, which is, again,
this first one, they're huge underdogs,
but somehow maybe,
because it's baseball, weird things happen.
Maybe you win a game, you shouldn't.
They then get the Dominicans and Japan.
Didn't take long.
Now all of a sudden it's like all of our swagger's gone.
It's like, oh, sit and watch another.
pictures have been great.
ERA, I believe, under two for the tournament,
but they're about to face some meaty MLB
lineups, not
hoodats.
So let's hope it's an entertaining game,
because that could be a absolute slop fest.
Calvary FC, we're a month away.
This sounds crazy.
It's snowy.
Home opener?
What?
In a month?
There's a foot of snow in the ground.
Oh!
And you see he was in the picture there?
That's Ali Moosey.
they announced his return.
Howdy boy, Mussay?
Adderboy, Ali, welcome back.
Big stud at the CPL level.
It was thought his time may have come to an ending Calgary.
But the Cavs and he agree on a new deal.
He back.
Love to see that.
We saw the Max Crosby deal nixed by the Baltimore Ravens.
He was returning from an knee injury.
Everyone knew he was rehabbing.
Everything's on schedule.
And they just said, yeah, yeah, we just...
How long you have to wait for a trade, Dean,
when you can't take the receipts?
back anymore.
I don't know if that works.
It worked for Baltimore.
What if you pay a fine of a million dollars?
Can we undo the trade?
Yeah, I'm not sure.
That's hurtful, you know?
I thought it was hurtful.
I thought it was hurtful.
It was mean.
And finally, God, the Simpsons were good.
I don't know if you were a fan of the show
during its peak, which a lot of people seem to think
were like seasons three through 10.
funny, amazing,
and really catching the essence
of what's going on in the world.
Here is one of the video games
portrayed on the show that's called Hockey Dad.
I really wish Rett was here for this.
God damn it.
Where's your dog, Rhett?
That's the only thing is you give him
the green light to leave
and he's going to leave.
He's like, oh yeah, I was going to get the dog
and then he said, but then I saw this huge pile of astrology.
What has he got on his, let's, man.
He's got a photo.
album. It's got a little globe
a dictionary.
There's got to be a lot of conspiracy theorist
books in there. I was going to say, where's the
tin hat section? Where's the map
of the flat earth? Where's that?
Hey.
We were just looking for buddies.
We were looking for buddy's book to see how we inject
our kids bloods into our bloods.
Oh, where's the flat earth map?
Where's that?
Look at that top right.
Blood. See it says blood? Fire and blood. That's got to be it.
That's the one.
Oh, that's that show.
Okay.
Here, I got some for you.
You ever seen two hockey dads get into it?
You're saying in Buffalo, things got heated between hockey dads time to time.
Holy hell always.
They made a video game about it on The Simpsons.
Let's have a watch.
Your kid sucks.
Bring it off.
Hockey dad rules.
It was a drunken wrath of Chuck Shadowski.
Dad, stop.
It's only a salt.
Don't make it murder.
Ignore.
You are mean, man.
See, I was really hoping for Mr. O'Bannon there.
Who's the Shadowsky on your team, Rhett?
Every team's got one.
You know, when you point fingers, how many of your back at you,
Rhett's a good call, Rhett.
That might be Mr. Warner on the left there that took care of business.
Stop, Dad, it's only a salt.
Don't make it murder.
It would be a ref on the other side with Reth, though.
That would be the difference.
That's your pinned report this Thursday, March 12th.
Say that again?
If you questionable calls last night.
That's right.
As always.
They don't know what the fuck they're doing.
Do you understand that?

Dogs are distracted.
Can we see your dog? We've seen them on the show, yeah.
So here's the thing.
Showtime. This camera. It gives me some faith
that Rhett's being good to this dog. Because if Rhett wasn't being good to the dog,
the dog would go, he just would want no part of him.
And he is kind of hanging around him here.
Mm-hmm.
And when he heard the bark, he actually went out to solve the problem.
He's like, oh, so this guy actually feeds me and lets me out.
Dogs in distress.
And I can tell you.
Look at the love in his eyes, eh?
Uh-huh.
How did he hate dogs before?
How did he abandon the dog?
Orphan the dog.
He's just at a different part of his life.
His kids are all deep, deep into hockey, so he can't just go to.
Oh.
Oh, what a hound.
That is a great looking pooh.
Good Lord.
Right?
Man's best friend, Red.
Yeah, he's a good boy.
And I know Warner.
He's probably at that spot now.
It's like, I'll take the dog and maybe five humans.
The rest of everybody else can beat it.
I bet you can show.
And the human list will deteriorate over time.
Down to four.
A lot of losers out there, Dean.
That's right.
A lot of roughs out there, Dean.
Yeah.
It's this camera that's the problem.
It's excited about the dog, too.
That's all right.
We need to lock in on his eyes, not yours.
That'd be all right.
Not happy.
Yeah, he's good.
You know, he's a little rambunctious.
He's a good looking boy, though.
I like the eye patch, right?
Yeah.
Jack Sparrow.
Not a boy.
Jack, what do you think?
I want one.
Yeah.
Can you get Jack a dog?
Learn to read, Jack.
It's like the Caesar.
You see one, you want one.
But the difference is the Caesar's gone in 10 minutes.
You got 14 years, Jack, with this one.
You can't be either.
Going down, getting banged up and whitefish with that dog.
Hearing loss clinic, locally owned and operated here to help, if not.
That's what you're hearing.
Hearing loss, impair that whole thing.
It's also more so for them, at least, about empowering everyone to be socially active,
confident in every aspect of your daily life.
It's Rhodesie.
He's amazing.
One of the leaders in the Calgary business scene.
very modest, very humble.
Oh, you know, Shags up.
So how many locations got?
Well, we got 10. 10.
10.
Yeah, you know, we got a lot on the go.
But hey, you know what?
Is he?
I know.
You're making me feel bad, Rhodesy, is what it comes down to.
Better people than us continue to market on the barn burner.
I work two hours a day.
Max.
And complain about it.
Yesterday was two and a half hours.
Everyone was sour.
The hell are we doing?

It might be a little hockey treat for you coming up on the socials that will be a part of coming up here very quickly.
I like that.
Like treats.
Hearing loss.c.a.
Is the website.
Camera's drunk again.
Yeah, I would think there's a way to change that.
I would take work.
I don't think there is.
Jack, can you head over to Rett's house today?
Just stay out of the laundry room.
Here would be my guess is that when,
because it'll have to be plugged into your computer.
And I don't think,
it's just a direct, there will be some, there'll be some sort of a thing, a program that allows
it to run in your computer.
Nope.
So there'd be an icon of some sort.
There would have to be some software that was installed into your computer to run the camera.
It just asks, which camera do I want to use?
The one on the camera out of the computer or the camera plugged it?
Right.
No software.
In our, in our software, but I just wonder on the computer itself.
Then you'd have the eye tracking.
Because if it eye tracks.
it's a decent and up camera.
I mean, look how good you look.
It's a high end camera.
Absolutely.
You look awesome.
Because you were shooting those B movies on that way.
Follow along.
Well, somebody was in the chat.
They're like, how happy is the shoveler today?
Oh, yeah.
That's why she can't let the dog out.
She's out just going up and down the sidewalks, ringing doorbells.
Could I do you, she?
She was out there early.
Everybody, she was out to early.
Snow Angel.
Yeah.
You know how to pick them, right?
Ryan.
Someone that helps the community.
That's a wonderful look at our,
our bets of the day.
Nice you to say, Ryan.
Thank you,
Russ.
It's fine.
Appreciate it.
Any time.
There's baseball.
There's hockey.
There's all kinds of stuff.
Until you get in there,
you download the app,
you get your profile,
get your account set up,
and then start to sniff around.
They're going to help you.
We've been saying this,
Beth,
they're going to have some different,
depending on what the bed is,
oh, here's what they've done
in the last five games.
Here's what's been happening.
especially when you get into player props and stuff like that.
Yeah, here's the last five games.
Maybe you will get over two and a half shots
seeing as how you've been getting three and four a night
for the last week or so.
But here's what we got for you today.
We're praying on the weaker sisters here.
The Florida Panthers, it's not been their year.
They're fighting a bit, but they're still depleted.
Still no Seths Jones, still no Barkov.
We heard Marshan might be done for the year now.
And Lumbus is just a wagon, fellas.
Like, bones and that crew are hell bent on making the playoffs.
Connor Garland's score.
and two every game apparently.
We're going to tease this a bit to minus
one and a half. That is the puck line. So Columbus has
to win by two or more. It's plus 180.
And something weird happened in this
line between the ducks and the Leafs.
Yesterday, ducks
considerable favorites. Today, it's
like even up. Are they
starting, like,
J.S. Chaguerre at 50 years
age in that? What's going on here?
It's basically a
pick-em.
And one team
is what? Like, useless since the Super Bowl?
and the other is leading a division?
I don't get it.
I'm going to jump on the ducks minus one and a half
because the Leafs have been miserable.
Those are my bets.
They don't need to be yours at Bet365.
There you go.
Download the app.

All the money that comes in from our super chats
goes directly to the charity that is

We'll put your comment on the show
which we do right about now.
There's only one today.
Quiet today.
What?
Mm-hmm.
Fowlis!
Well, Bill Tuilliger.
Small town bar ranking.
Pickled egg, pickled sausage, or roll mop.
Where do you go first?
Also, some places don't keep them in the fridge.
A goosh.
What's a roll mop?
I'm not, I don't know.
If it's a sausage roll, that's a sausage roll.
But that's one of those things you can't think about,
because you will walk into the small town bar
and there will be the tub, the clear plastic
jug with the wide mouth top on it
of the pickled eggs sitting atop the bar.
And until I got to tell you what, Bill,
until this moment, I'd never really thought about it.
Even now in my accelerated age,
I've never really thought about whether or not
those should be refrigerated.
It was just always, you were already taking your life
in your own hands with pickled eggs at the bar.
You're not to sudden do that sober.
You're already fewer.
It's fine.
It's pickled.
Yeah, I mean.
Roll mops are a pickled herring fillet rolled into a cylinder around a savory filling.
Okay.
I've never had a roll mop.
No.
I, um, like there again, it's kind of, you know, it's like the Civece.
It's, it's raw fish, but it's the, you know, the, the acidity of the juices cooked, you know, is enough to kind of, I don't have a lot of standards.
What's the big bar room room temperature?
pickled sausage in my
pantry right now.
It's just a sausage that's in water?
Crush it.
Great, the Caesar, Ryan.
Oh, got my attention now.
Yeah, the roll mop, I'm not
That would be at the bottom of my...
If you're in the prairies, I don't know, that's the place to go get herring.
That's just my gut.
That's a good point, too.
Yeah.
Maybe if I'm in Sweden.
Yeah, I'm not sure.
The bar room.
food. Usually it's
your cheeses,
chips or some sort of. It's less
about the food. It's more about we need to set a base
here because we've been drinking in a small town
prairie bar for a while. Yeah. I don't know what kind of
base you get out of a roll mop. I don't either.
Pick a leg. It's probably not a bit.
Yeah. I can't have a breath. Do it. Maybe there's a history
behind it that is actually
Hmm. It keeps you alive and healthy when you're drinking
too much. Yeah, maybe. Yeah. Uh,
Brossevsky
69 wants
What's the model number of your camera?
What are you rocking there?
We're going to help you.
Look at the people are like,
let's figure,
yeah, let's get you taken care of.
How that would I know?
I'll hack into your mainframe
and turn off the eye tracker.
What does it say on it?
Please don't.
Don't hack into my mainframe.
I don't want you hacking into my mainframe.
Just the things we would find in the mainframe.
It's staggering.
What are we thinking for tonight,
Rhett, you kind of talked about,
uh,
now you were kind of,
you were apprehensive about the game.
So does that mean a flames victory or loss?
What do we?
I feel like,
uh,
victory is achievable for the,
uh,
boys and blue.
So,
the visitors.
The boys in blue?
These teams were red.
What the hell are you talking about?
Wow.
You know.
I don't know.
The flames.
The cops?
Love the cops.
Good people.
Boys and blue.
Hard working.
Tough job.
Tough gig.
No, I think the flames could win
Because I think the devil's stink
And
Flames work hard
And kind of almost overachieve
Whereas the devil's underachieve
I think it's a bad combination
And you're not going to lose every game
Right?
No, you got five of them on this road trip
We'll give you a lot
So you're going to win something
Detroit's going to be hungry
The islanders are feeling it
If you're going to win
This feels like the spot on the card
Yep
Given that you had it 3-0 in Washington
Got it back to 3.000.
3-3 only to allow 7 and you lost on Broadway.
What if I told you also, Rhett, this was game 5 of a seven-game homestand for the devils.
Like they're getting fat and sassy and how'd they played on the homestand?
They're out.
They lost to Detroit.
They were beaten 3-0 the other night.
Prior to that, they had 1-4 straight.
Yeah.
So they're 4 and 1 in their last 5, but then they lost 5 straight behind that.
Yeah, two more left on the homestand.
and Kings and Bruins.
Do you overlook the flames or are you sour after a loss to the wig is getting shut out?
We'll see.
It's possible.
Narratives.
Oh, that's why he's looking at the looking at his.
Oh, the delivery.
Oh, thank you.
Finally, somebody did something for me.
About time, Rhett.
We did a break.
You and the dog.
Shut out to the land today.
Sniff around that snow.
Oh, it's way to.
No, I want to go to a movie and relax.
Get some double butter popcorn.
make it soup
can't go anywhere
gotta make soup
yeah
hamburger soup sounds good too
you're gonna make
tomato soup in the
comments
not wrong with a good
tomato soup
I love a good tomato soup
yeah you gotta be careful
when you're putting the cream in there
though Ryan
you always were a little cream
Ryan
the blue cat doesn't like
the old cream cooking
I know he doesn't
yeah
danger cat
could you just pour it in there
It's going to curdle up and you're going to be very disappointed.
Get whiskin.
You got to get whisking.
You got to kind of, you take some of the soup out, like with the temperature,
you bring the one up the temperature and then you put it back in.
You can't just be doing all that.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's a soup day, man.
It is a soup kind of day.
I got borsh.
Someone's got, uh, borsh.
Yeah, I got borsh straight in the freezer.
It's all froze up.
I could just take that out.
You're homemade?
Mm-hmm.
Wow.
That's an interesting idea.
How's that process, the making of the borsed?
About as simple as any other soup, I guess, yeah.
Yeah, that's really easy.
Cabbage.
Chop, chop.
Beats.
Beats.
Who was it that got all freaked out when they ate beats?
I was Mark Deepa Squally, Dean.
Also known as Depot.
Oh, Depot.
What beet dish had he been devouring?
I think it was just beats in a dinner.
In a salad maybe?
Salad?
Yeah.
What loves the beet salad?
That's whatever staples.
I like a good pickled beet.
Delicious.
Yeah, just if you're going to do the beats, delicious, yeah.
Good for you, I would assume, in certain preparations.
Just don't look in the bowl when, because you might freak the F out.
When you're preparing the dish, Dean?
Like Depot.
No, once you've consumed it.
Oh, interesting.
And it's run its course.
Right.
Because if you just kind of take a peek at your hand.
Candy work there sometimes.
We're like, am I dying from the inside out?
It's got some asparagusy vibes.
Like, what the hell's happening inside of me?
What is that?
That's a lot.
That's a different color for sure than what I'm used to.
Men.
So, right.
So warmies today.
Warmy's today.
We're getting you set for Devils and Flames, I believe a 4.30 start right on this very station on the
YouTube's.
We'll walk you through some of the lineup notes.
We'll have a starting goalie theoretically by then.
and we'll have a fun few waiters on tonight's contest
between the Flames and Devils.
A Stanley Cup preview, I'm sure.
Terrific.
That's it.
And then tomorrow.
Tomorrow, special guest co-host,
Cabby, all the way from Studio 2.
Cabby coming down the hall.
Cabby and friends tomorrow.
Going to drop in as Red and I very busy, apparently.
We will wrap the Flames and Devils.
We will probably take a look at that Canada,
a USA baseball game, which
certainly looks like David
versus Goliath at this point.
And we'll have a little fun heading into the weekend with
Dregs as usual and maybe some other special
guests. Here's my request.
Yeah. Please be nice to Cabby.
Love Cabby. I know you do.
He's very positive, which is tough in this show.
Sometimes you're not very nice to him.
He'll come in a studio
in great spirits and hey guys,
so flames win last, you know, burn.
We kind of,
but Ryan can't, as we've talked,
about it.
Ryan can't really put the weapon down and just kind of,
ah, shucks, it's cabby.
He lost debate.
We're wearing Mission McKenna shirts.
Stop cheering wins.
Yeah, well, it's, it goes beyond that.
You treat him as a casual, I think is what I, what I've picked up on.
He is absolutely, like, because I get to hear the show when I'm prepping in here.
He does his show off the roster.
You can hear through the hole in the wall to studio.
Big Raptors head.
He's been covering, uh, in the summer.
I'll do a bunch of Jay's stuff.
So I'll lean on his expertise there and we can get his insights on the NHL as well.
Because you know he's feeling the vice grip tightening in Toronto around the Leafs as well.
Yeah.
And you can have some fun with him.
Like it doesn't have to be just have some fun.
Just be nice because he's a guest.
It'll be a hang.
It'll be great.
Okay.
Awesome.
Appreciate that.
I might have to tune in just to come say hi.
Yeah.
Yeah.
See how that goes.
Rip Ryan.
And so the third pair for the Wranglers tonight.
Something like that.
Jack,
how was the show today?
Really great stuff, guys.
Yeah, thanks, Jack.
Are you awake or you're in your book?
Are you reading your book?
You must be reading.
No, I'm awake, barely awake.
I was up late last night, boys, watching Landman.
I got hooked, and next thing in it was like three in the morning.
Where you at?
I'm like almost done.
I was going to say you've got to be done.
about today's a day.
Nice snowy day.
Some Doritos.
Finish her off.
Yeah.
Go get some $9 gas station chips.
Go get it, Jack.
Once Boomer said maybe home show, I just said, you know what?
I get to sleep in a little bit.
Yeah.
Wash land, man.
I think I'm on episode nine of season two.
You're ahead of me now.
Watch your spoiler alerts.
Are we doing the, the spinny thing?
Oh, do we want to?
I got a new one.
I don't know if Jack did the new one ready or not,
but I found a website.
that doesn't have a thousand ads jumping at us,
and it's got some animations that are a little more fun.
We don't have to do it today, but I think we found something better.
I feel like, and I'm okay either way.
We could take a break.
Yesterday's was extremely depressing.
Yeah, Jack was saying we got to tinker with stuff and see if we're the bad karma.
Like maybe we make boom leave the room one day and see if that helps because we didn't.
The world number one.
Flames were in the two spot.
They fall to four.
Vancouver is by far away the worst team.
They dropped two spots and the Leafs won it.
So that's, it almost feels like maybe we'll take a break today.
Yeah.
Or even start fresh next week.
Cabby and I'll get the car mop tomorrow.
Yeah, all right.
Yeah, okay.
All right.
Good vibes only.
That's right.
Positive vibes.
See you, buddies.
