Rabbit, rabbit.
Look at that classic.
You're happy with that coat.
You are happy with that jacket.
Wait.
No, yes.
Wrong one.
Yeah.
That's the way that's supposed to go.
Yeah.
That's certainly that I was going to say,
is that from back in the day or is that a retro jacket?
But clearly the number two would suggest it's from back in the day.
Isn't that great?
Oh, I needed something to put on.
I saw it.
I'm like, this is beautiful.
Yeah.
Hat to match.
Even the emblem.
Now, how did you feel about that logo swap?
Don't like it, hated it.
Yeah.
I know why they did.
I'm sure it was a money attempt, but hated it.
Nobody wanted it.
Because you couldn't really tell.
So the L is a, it's a blade, but it's bridges and it's a blade.
There's a lot of bridges in Saskatoon.
So there's a reference.
but so unnecessary the original is so good yeah but it could just be too old guys talking to
probably there were a lot of young kids would have thought it was great back then
because the other one is I think it's a puck with a hockey stick in it's not super
creative it's hard to tell whether it's a hockey stick or a skate plate or escape light that's
right there's always debate the front of the yeah yeah yeah well uh how how you've been
I'd be good, but I'm wiped.
It feels we did our drinky show.
Yeah.
I never recovered from that.
There was illnesses, nothing major, but enough to slow you down.
Christmases, visitors, mayhem.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
New Year's.
Sure, yeah.
I'm not, I'm not ill, but I'm a court load today still.
Yeah, it was a heavy go on New Year's Eve.
It was a heavy, yeah.
Well, let's start right from where we, because the last we saw you was on the drinkie show.
There have been shows since, but we've not seen you.
Last I saw you, you were in fine form.
And then there was a text about needing a key to lock up the office, which was hours after I had last seen you.
So walk us through the drinkie show.
The drinkie show was great.
Yeah.
It really, I think we'll have.
pissed off one person.
We were stomping our feet with the dance club.
That got a bit much.
Yeah, yeah.
Great guests.
Some wonderful people stopped by.
Definitely over-served.
Yeah, you were.
Yeah.
But feeling good about things.
Sat with Jack.
Pinder got all emotional and was hugging at the end of it.
Like, it was just being him and Jack.
He was all wound up.
I'm like, good God, keep it together.
Is that right?
The Jack, you're in here as well.
Was it a hug fest?
Was it an emotional?
drunk pender. Yeah, it was a little emotional. I also think we got on the phone with Ozzie Brad at some point.
Yeah, I feel like that happened. Yeah.
May or may not have had a shirt on? I did the same, so remember the pheasant sweater?
Uh-huh. To take a picture of the pheasant sweater. Was that my buddy's place in chalet at Castle Mountain?
Yeah. And I cruised in that baby on New Year's Eve. That was a sweater, not much else.
So when do you think it went
The things really started to turn on the drinky show
Because it was you were kind of subdued almost
You were on the couch and we know how you're kind of laid back
I was very comfy
Yeah
But then the gear started to shift a little bit
And then the volume
You can start to hear the old
All fired up retro starting to come out of the woodwork a little bit
You were in it
That damn bartender
kept bringing me drinks
I guess that's what happens.
And then the key thing,
I was just pissing around with Pinder and Jack
to make it feel like they locked me in
or they'd stuck me at the studio.
Yeah, because I...
I was long gone.
Yeah, I was never actually came back?
No.
Oh, that was so confusing,
because we were long gone
and we were already completely buckled
and you're like, how, like,
I'm back at the studio.
I was like, what?
You left hours ago.
Well, that's what I was wondering,
because I was at home and I had already turned the corner from, you know,
drinky to hung over and almost feeling better.
And as I said,
it would have a key to lock up.
So you guys are still there.
It was so late by that point.
No, I was sitting in the pub thinking I was hilarious at that point.
Yeah, I'm sure you were.
Yeah, I'm sure you were.
But what a day.
You know, we had a lot of great guests.
People dropping by.
I did not expect a W.
W HL loving in the in studio.
We got Vernie stopped by.
We got Rose Hill by way of the,
by way of olds sitting in his house and the first noodles.
What a day.
Yeah, there was a lot that happened and I don't recall any of it.
Yeah, yeah.
John Bender ordered a bunch of pizza.
Pinder was left in charge.
It's what you can't do.
Now I've done.
One guy's fat.
One guy's not.
Guess who's the one that's more focused on food.
But the thing with Pinder is,
And I told them this.
If you, because remember we went to Penticton for the young stars?
Yeah, I remember what you did.
Yeah.
We didn't, uh, you, you don't miss a pint.
The pints are imperative.
If you get anything to eat at any point during the two or three days, I mean,
whatever, right?
It's, we'll see.
And that's what we should never have left Pinder in charge.
So should we get pizza?
What do you?
Yes.
Order pizza.
When?
Because I remember you said, order it right now.
And it was, it was 10 or 11 in the morning.
Yes, order it now.
Yes.
And it was mid-afternoon, and there's still no pizza.
John Bender, God love him, ordered pizza on his own because it's like,
these hammerheads are going to need to mix in some sort of protein or something,
or it's going to be, uh, it could be a disaster in here.
And it nearly was.
So thank you to John Bender.
Way to go Bender.
Way to step it up.
I'm not surprised to hear that Pinder dropped the ball there.
Oh, we've got a bidder.
What we, you know, we got a budget to order in some food.
And so we've got our, this is kind of like our Christmas party.
So we're good to go.
Yeah, I thought he had it all planned out.
I did too.
Tarkootery platters.
Yes.
Now, on the fifth side, we left the booze.
We left everything up to him.
The booze was top floor.
We had a bar set up in studio.
It really tells you all you need to know.
We had fancy drinks and bartenders and an actual bar, not a lick of food.
So we should have known better next year.
We'll be much smarter because of it.
But I don't know if you heard now Jack had a rough day.
because there's the Draky show
and then the show,
I don't know how anything got put up onto,
into the podcast world because Jack was in a spot.
And then he got Luzi.
Because what all did you lose later that day, Jack?
Oh, no.
I lost my wallet,
but I didn't have anything in my wallet, rat.
Just an empty wallet.
I had taken everything out of my,
wallet for some reason and then I lost my new jacket that I had bought in like two weeks prior.
Other than that great day.
Other than that, it was lots of fun.
Yeah.
You were off to Prittis that.
No, that never happened.
I didn't think so.
I'm glad you didn't go.
You were supposed to play hockey or something?
Yeah, we're going to go play hockey.
I was trying to get Rett to come out.
He was trying to strong arm me and you're going to Prittis to play outdoor hockey.
You love Prittis though.
I mean, you do in fairness.
Yeah, you love it out there.
Yeah, good time.
So then Christmas rolls around.
That was on the, what, the 20th?
So we had a number of days yet.
So the boy was home from his hockey endeavors and all that.
Everybody was together.
First Calgary Christmas in a while.
Yes, three years.
A couple years, right?
Yeah, three years.
Two years.
Well, two years off anyway.
So it was good.
It was busy.
The weather was awesome.
It was basically sit in the backyard and get skated.
It was great.
What's the temp today?
Oh, less, a little more brisk.
Because you know, because I was just going to say, you know that we've had it pretty good when it's January.
Well, minus 17.
Okay.
But it's like, I'm not leaving the house.
What?
Well, I can't do that today.
I mean, you know how cold it is outside?
It's bloody cold out there.
Yeah, minus 17 has us rethinking our life.
but so then New Year's
you're a big guy for New Year's
of New Year's.
Yep.
We yeah, we skied
we weren't going to go
because we felt like we were being
imposing on others
but they were insistent
and we went and it was one hell of a day
again ski hill was the weather was great
people were wonderful down at Castle Mountain
I did not put on my skis because
risk of injury was high
yeah yeah risk of injury
was very high, so
the kids
and everyone skied.
Just in general with the sport or that
particular day and all of the above,
all the above, it was just not,
it was a wise veteran
decision. You know, we, veteran moves.
Us old guys talking, sometimes these old guys
they make the right decisions.
Hey, you know what? Everybody had a good time. You didn't have
to ski. Everybody else that wanted to got to.
You took care of everybody. Well, on the day before,
old Scotty Alton, he
pop the old Achilles.
Oh.
Yeah.
Freshly retired.
First winter off.
Going to spend lots of time at the ski hill.
Going to travel.
Yeah.
And I feel like those are things that they're a bugger to deal with
at the last of the time.
Like when high level,
high performance athletes,
it's kind of an endeavor for them to heal from that.
Let alone guys like,
us. I live in fear still to this day. I don't want to break my pelvis and I don't want to
pop in Achilles. Really don't want any of that to happen. If I was Jack's age, no problem.
I'll do it both at once. Do the other Achilles. Let's get both of them operated on. It's like
when you have Tommy John, just do both. Just do both. Get her done. Get her done. Now, Jack, you,
what did you do for New Year's? Well, New Year's, I was in my bed the entire day. New Year's Eve.
we tried to take it easy
I really wasn't drinking we were watching the hockey games
just trying to enjoy myself
and then the clock hit like 11 p.m.
and a couple of my buddies we just went right down down.
Yeah.
Yeah. Very busy.
We missed the ball drop.
1202 somebody.
Hey. Hey.
I think.
Yeah.
It was one of those days
where it was 7.30 p.m.
and I was on the couch,
like,
there's no
way I'm seeing 12.
There's just no chance.
We had some of,
you know,
those,
um,
those gummy things,
you know,
you have some of those
and say,
who,
oh,
I'm not sure I'm going anywhere,
doing anything right now.
I just kind of,
I just hang out right here.
Right spot I found.
That's unbelievable.
Uh,
but then I,
but then I did.
But then we,
You know, you just kind of went with it and then midnight came and it was no different than any other day.
My wife goes, I'm going to bed.
Okay.
So, yeah, kids are doing whatever they're doing.
I guess I'm the last one up.
I'll go to bed.
So that's all it was for me.
So very, very boring.
I'm glad that you two guys did the show proud.
I can only imagine Pinder.
He's out in wherever he is with family and buddies and all that sort of thing.
Can you imagine, like we've talked about this.
Do you suppose any of the other Pinders are like Pinders?
her because I can't handle one of them.
I doubt it.
I don't think they seem to be.
They don't.
No.
From my.
His brother certainly,
his sister seems very nice and his brother is actually very subdued and calm from the times I've had any dealing with them.
But then there's Ryan.
But maybe they cancel themselves out.
I guess that's.
If it's like two,
you guys are driving,
why don't you guys go there and the rest of us will stay.
I'm not sure,
but I'm sure.
We don't want to create a vacuum.
That's right.
I'm sure that's how that went.
Well, anyway, welcome to Barnburner.
It's a Thursday.
It's a new year. It's a new show.
But yet still brought to you by

2025, raising money for the good folks
over at the youth centers of Calgary.
When you buy a super chat,
you choose the level of donation,
and we'll make sure that it all gets to the youth centers of Calgary.
Were you doing any Bet365?
And we've had NFL football pretty much every day, it felt like,
throughout the Christmas.
And then yesterday there was some.
I was real smart.
Yeah, I got real smart yesterday with the college stuff, right?
Yeah.
Oregon?
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Yeah, look at those helmets.
Yeah.
They're shining.
What are you talking about?
Like, come on.
Crazy.
Yeah.
First game was a doozy.
I got sitting around watching the,
watching Texas versus Arizona State.
I'll tell you what, that's scataboo.
I had heard the name, but man, I'm a big scataboo guy after yesterday.
Throwing for touchdowns, running for them, catching them.
What a guy.
Amazing, amazing stuff.
Also, it's a game day.
I don't know if you don't get your helmet on.
It's a Calgary Flames game.
game day today here in town right jack isn't it today's a day's a day i believe so gonna have to get
back into the routine the whole monday to friday thing has just kind of been optional for a long time here
now the other day i was going to set my alarm to take uh my kid has to work in the morning
what time are we getting like what time do you have a ride for did you what for well you're working
in the morning dad it's wednesday oh yeah you work sundays right so the fact that no one
was working today doesn't mean it was Saturday it means it's just I'm an idiot so um did you get a new
mug no it's an oldie oh but it's it's great and the truth well and you know what's bad is uh it used
to have a like a gold mustache on here but it's all washed off kind of went away in the dishwasher
it's speaking of absentee mustaches you made a decision i can see while mama bear came to town
mom doesn't like the beard so i had to shave for mom keep mom happy I guess so
She doesn't like it.
I thought she would have been of the generation that would have really felt
strongly.
Well, I'll tell you what, I was, I didn't improve.
Really?
The removal?
Yeah.
Ooh.
Yeah.
Dude.
Can you grow up back?
It wasn't a great.
Not good, eh?
No, definitely a step back in my opinion.
Yeah.
Well, we'll get into it for, of course, opening statements, McLeodlaw.
Peter Klein and everybody over there, wishing everybody, Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Shane King, Austin, everybody.
Spent some time with us.
Wasn't that great?
The guys came.
They hung out all day at the drink show.
That's a heavy show.
They did.
And if they're still with us after that,
they're in it for the long haul.
Appreciate them.
And you'll appreciate them.
McLeod Law.
The best of what they do,
Calgary,
that's what it is.
I've said it many times.
There's nothing worse than when you reach out for,
you have something of importance in your life and you need some help and you
reach out of,
please stand by for the,
oh, can I just talk to somebody, please?
That's what it is with McLeod Law.
in Calgary, proud of those Calgary roots, ready to take care of you in whatever shape or form it is that you need.
MacLeodd.com is their website. Reach out today. Now, did you watch the New Year's Eve game against Vancouver?
That was just two days ago. Well, shockingly, we were driving back from the ski hill yesterday.
And I asked someone what the score was. And the shoveler side-eyed me.
And I said, what? Yeah.
Well, you watched the game.
So yeah, absolutely.
Yeah, I did.
So your thoughts and analysis.
My recollections.
There were a couple scraps.
There was a goal.
There was a big W.
Big W on New Year's Eve, last day of 2024.
What a win.
My kid went to the game.
I said, you know, out of all the games you could have gone to,
yeah, they're going to win.
But it's New Year's Eve.
Everyone's festive.
There's some scraps.
They scored some goals.
They win a game.
Might have been the best, most enjoyable.
live game of the season, maybe.
It was an entertaining game. If only I could remember.
Yeah. Well,
maybe tonight, because there is one tonight.
We'll see how that goes.
But yeah, they do beat Vancouver and all of a sudden,
they, well, they're two and one since the break.
They win in San Jose three to one.
They lose in Vegas, three nothing.
That was a tough one.
And then pick up the win over Vancouver.
Three, one, and two in their last seven games.
One, regulation loss, retro.
points in six of seven.
However you want to cut that one and two.
Is that what you said in their last seven?
Six, I guess it would be right.
Is that what it is?
I'm either missing a game.
It's either seven or it's six and I'm missing a game.
Stand by.
It just caught me by surprise.
You know, the other thing that I end up doing too is I'll go and look at game notes
from a game if the new stats aren't out yet.
I'll go back.
Okay, let's take it.
look at the notes before the Vancouver game.
Well, if you're going to do this,
you're going to have to add another game on
because the Vancouver game's already been played.
Now it's played.
You dope.
All right, let's see here.
That's Utah.
They've lost four in a row, the Utah.
That's helpful.
Hockey clubs.
Yeah.
Prior to that, though, they were doing quite well.
They had like 6012 and 2 in the 8 prior to that.
Okay, so it's a win, win, win, win, overtime,
win one two three four five but it three four five six so it's seven one two three four one and two
it's pretty good so that's the math that's the gauntlet too they're running the gauntlet yeah no
no it's not really a gauntlet san Jose i don't think uh would qualify playing better but yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah you know who's still rolling yeah our boy jonathan huber though
It's not all bad, is it?
You know,
give him credit.
I know,
I'm with you.
We brought it up with Pinder the other day and it's kind of like,
oh,
well,
still,
what's he going to end up with 50 or 60 points?
Like,
yes,
but I,
and is he worth the dough?
No.
Is he a super?
No,
that we,
like,
I get it.
But for the shit and abuse that the guy is taken for two and a half
seasons to now be leading the team and scoring.
He's got,
he's doing what he's supposed to.
to do. Yeah. He's doing what he's supposed to do. You're 10 and a half, you're leading your team
and scoring. You're the highest paid player on the team. What's expected? He's got 17 in his last
13 games. I don't, you probably could have put guns to our heads. He's never going to be a
point of game guy for any stretch of the imagination at any point moving forward. So I mean, it's good
for him. Wolf gets the win. It's not all good though. They're still, they're, they still don't
score a bunch. It's three and your goalie better not give up three because you're hoped if you do.
And I know everyone will say the same thing they did before and it's they're right, but there can be a
debate about should you be adding or subtracting. What place are they in?
I mean, yeah, as they go into action today, Rhett, they are in a playoff spot. They have 43 points.
Now winning percentage, it's they've played more games and all that sort of thing.
but they're right there.
They're in or just on the cusp of being a playoff team as we head into the new year.
And I'm not saying to do it, but when you look at that and you go, what can't they do well?
Well, they can't score.
Well, why wouldn't you add someone to help score and then you'd have five more points or four more points on the season?
Might be the difference between a playoff spot or not or even more.
It's stupid because I think we're all on the same page.
but if they continue to sit there, do you just ride it out or do you help the team?
What's the message from the GM then?
So it ever been a year where we haven't done this?
Whereas, well, they're right on the edge.
Do you buy or do you sell or what do you do?
Not that long ago, I guess a few years ago.
Yeah, they were near the top of the division.
So it was not a debate.
But right now, they're not going to finish near the bottom from the looks of things.
The gold tending is shaky at times, but really good at times.
and they don't score a lot, but they work hard.
They're competitive hockey club.
They're just not as bad as maybe we thought they were going to be.
That there are six, seven, eight teams or whatever at any given time below them in the Western Conference.
I would not have guessed that would be the case at Christmas or at New Year's.
No.
You'd be looking at other teams to be in that kind of a spot.
so um sharon govich continues to struggle not looking to shit on anybody but it's no goals in his last
11 he's getting a lot of ice time a lot of power play time i'm not sure why that's the case yeah but
what else you're putting out there that's why who's who's scoring with such
regularity that you're going to and don't and that might be your addition you could literally look in the
lineup and go, well, if he just scores
it even half the pace of last year,
we've got our guy.
Yeah. He's getting chances.
He had some shots.
He's got 10 points in 30
games, as I
mentioned, one in his last 11.
The flip side is, it's not
as though there were
a group of all stars here
last year that were just setting the table for him.
He had 31 goals last year.
Yep. It's not good enough, but
yeah. Are we,
I don't know.
I've listened to some, put him in the stands.
He needs a day off.
Does he?
I mean, and who are you putting in there?
Yeah.
Who's coming out?
Like, who's knocking on the door going,
we can't deny this guy anymore.
Yeah.
And, you know, some of those guys,
happy to walk or doers in there and playing every night.
Palchay's buzzing around trying to do.
He's giving you everything that he's got right now.
But you want, if there were some other guys,
been to run it up the other day.
Well, what if Matt, they were still healthy?
And what if Kirkland wasn't injured?
So then maybe these guys aren't in the lineup.
But barring injury, it is what it is.
Flames already lost in Salt Lake to Utah earlier this year, 5-1.
That was not a good game.
No, they were not on.
That was what we decided to throw in the towel for a while.
Yeah, we were pretty much done with that was, was that the road trip?
It's like, oh, they're going to go.
This road trip's going to be great.
them because they're going to be able to go out and really make some hay and uh well actually no
that was before that one they uh they lost five nothing in vegas and then five one in utah
they'd had the hot start and then they went on that road trip and got snot bubbled back to back it
was like oh here this is going to be and they weren't working the way they had to start the year right
like it was kind of a flat team that wasn't really putting in the effort it was like oh boy here we go
And then things kind of turned around a little bit in November.
They had the, so they beat Nashville and the Islanders and the Rangers and the wild.
And then that road trip that this was the road trip last week of November, Ottawa, Detroit, Columbus, Pittsburgh.
Ouch.
One point.
They wasted.
They wasted a few points.
Yeah.
One out of a possible eight on that trip.
December is what it is.
And now they head into a new year and a new, uh,
I mean, it's going to be a busy month.
There's some back-to-backs coming up.
They play tonight against the Utah's.
Saturday they host Nashville.
Next week, Tuesday, Wednesday against the Kings,
then back home to play the Kings on the Saturday.
Then back on the road, Chicago, St. Louis, back-to-back.
And this is that weird one.
They play St. Louis on Thursday, or sorry, on Tuesday.
And then they play St. Louis again on Thursday,
both in St. Louis road games.
You ever do that?
We did.
there was one year where they were trying to make that more of a regular thing where you
remember being in Minneapolis, St. Paul.
To get the rivalry stoked up, right?
That second game, oh, man, they're going to be angry at each other.
Man.
Yeah.
Were you?
No.
I appreciate it.
It's certainly easier for you, travel-wise.
It doesn't beat you up as much, but it didn't do what they were hoping it was going to do.
And I don't think it's a mandate.
I think it's just a fluke that this.
I don't know.
Are other teams doing this?
I don't know.
I don't.
I think it's just a circumstance.
One, two,
three,
four,
five,
six seven,
eight road games,
six home games
for the month of January.
They get a little break in there,
a little four day break.
Anyway,
that's,
uh,
we are,
it's the world we live in.
It's very much of what have you done for me lately.
We talk about doing this show and how we react to everything that's just
happened.
Oh,
they're the best.
Oh,
they're the worst. Oh, they're good again. Oh, they're terrible again. I think that just people in general and
certainly fans are that way. If you watch the last game against Vancouver, hey, we were fighting and
we came together. We got a big win and now it's Utah. And if you can beat them and then you beat Nashville.
Oh, man, by next week at this time, it'll be sitting pretty. How many players are we getting
before the deadline? Like how many? You lose us. Okay, so Wolf, are we really committed to him? Can we trade
him. I'm not sure. It's just how it goes.
So we'll see what tonight brings. I don't know.
They, um, their goal tending, Connor Ingram was really good for them last year when they were
the coyotes. He's not been great for them this year and has been injured. He's been out for
19 games. So it's been Jackson Stobber, which I believe is Rob's son and Carol Vamalka,
who have been carrying the mail for them. But, uh, again, they, they were real good. And then they've
lost four in a row outscored 16 to 6 over those four games.
So toilet seat.
Almost like the team that plays in in Calgary.
You think you know what you got?
And then they and then they spit it on you.
So it's a long year.
Sometimes you play well.
And then you want to streaks and it's harder and a little more.
That's right.
Interesting.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Are they still getting big crowds down in the Utah?
It's a good question.
And I don't know.
Their road record is actually pretty good.
They're 11, 8, and 2 on the road.
I don't know.
Is that good?
I mean, it's because right now, you know,
I talked to Frank the other day.
And he feels that when you look at the Western conference standings,
he feels like the team that he,
who's going to take the spot that the flames have or who's a team to look out for
that's below you?
I mean, Vancouver's kind of right there.
But he likes,
he likes Utah,
that there's still this young,
team. They're the coyotes. Remember, just prospects. They're going to be, but now they
probably are going to be looking to add instead of being perennial sellers because they have
different ownership and they have deeper pockets and the bigger commitment to winning and all
that sort of thing. And I guess that will be kind of new to see. But yeah, with the
the home advantage they were going to have, five, seven, and four at home. So maybe they're
wilting under the intense. Too much pressure. They're not used to big crowds. They're not used to big
crowds are going to get used to it that's right they're really not used to that sort of thing
so i will say Dylan gunther he's leading them in goals he's got some power what's he got for
power play goals seven power play goals 16 all told Clayton Keller 37 points and 36 games he's the
guy up front getting her done so you know I'm gonna watch it I don't watch it you got any
leftovers from new years uh uh no no no
Plus also now it's we're flipping the switch right because it's now so all the junk food
and all the stuff that's got out.
Oh, oh yeah.
That's it's it.
I mean, I was eating or eating pie every day for breakfast, lunch and that's it.
No more pumpkin pie, no more whipped cream.
That's it.
We're done.
So.
Yeah.
Good luck with that.
Yeah, good luck with that.
Good luck with that.
We'll see.
We'll see.
Do you have any, uh, any resolutions?
Do you have anything, uh,
you look inwardly and say, you know what?
Oh, I look inwardly and I'm often disappointed, but it just seems to repeat anyway.
Yeah.
Just push it down.
Yeah.
How about you, Jack?
Have you got anything planned for 2025?
What are your, uh, my resolutions?
What are your expectations?
What do you see this year?
You know, flames are up and down, Utah, they're up.
What is this going to be up here, down here?
What are you doing?
Yeah, I don't really know.
either. I'm just going to go with the flow.
A long list of things you want to accomplish, Jack,
that you're going to start checking them off?
I'm going to do the dry January. I've never done that before.
It's lame.
Yeah.
No, I don't. I've thought about it. I don't know. I don't want to get.
Isn't there a road trip?
You don't want to disappoint yourself?
Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Isn't there a, isn't there a road trip?
I believe the Jasper Pond hockey.
tournament is yeah that was month yeah at the end of January so how is that going to play into
the dry January that I just I got a power through it uh-huh or it's close enough remember
February's less days so you like I'm not sure how that works you just tack more on to January
or take some off of January give them to February yeah we'll see how it goes uh what
times the game tonight seven are we doing a seven o'clock ordinary norm yeah norm seven o'clock matt
and i think we're doing an afterburner tonight i don't know who's on it i don't know if it's me or who
it is maybe it's pender kind of doubt it doubtful doubtful but we will see uh now as far as a pender
report today did he record one did he record one no no he didn't no he didn't but uh we can walk you
through some, some of the, uh, the comings and goings, I suppose.
Did you get anything good for Christmas?
Uh, I got a new, I got new, uh, slippers.
Hmm.
Yeah.
Uh, I got a shirt.
Tea?
No tea.
No.
I didn't get a mug.
No, I really didn't.
Nope.
Yeah.
Do we, I got a nice card from my kids.
That was great.
Ah, see.
Nice.
Heartfelt.
Nice.
Yeah.
Hey, Jack, retro.
Can we have an off show conversation?
Texting with noodles.
He had to fly to Dallas and he's doing morning skate.
He's asking how long we're going to be doing the show.
Because he could, he could join us depending on how long we're planning on going.
Well, I sent you the note this morning.
I know you did.
And you cheekily responded three or four because there's a lot to get through.
It's the classic.
So how long do you think we're going today?
I don't know.
What do you have going today?
I got lots.
You got kids.
They got practices and skis.
They're not in school.
No, this is the issue.
We're back to work, but they're not back to school.
I didn't know we were working to be honest.
I said that's Jack.
You got on to him.
I had no clue.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because this is kind of, in a way, everyone's, this is, even though it's still the week of,
a lot of people say, well, no, it's, New Year's is over and now we're, we're, we're back into it.
Like, if we stretched for a bit, we could probably get them on, but then we got to talk to them.
Then it's even longer.
Wouldn't tomorrow be better?
Well, we got dregs tomorrow.
Give them the week, huh?
Poor guy.
What the hell's he going to tell us?
Ottawa?
You're right.
we're all good
the only question I would have
is didn't some goalie get signed
Colorado?
Yeah, Blackwood. Yeah.
Blackwood.
Too much money for too long.
For sure.
Seemed like a...
Frank and I talked about that the other day.
It was, and my point to him was
let's assume that McKenzie Blackwood
has a great season and puts up
great numbers and the Avalanche do
amazing things.
What are you going to have to
him then is it going to be at all more than what you just paid him for playing four games for you
all right like what's the rush here folks like i get for for the avalanche goaltending has been a big deal
a big everyone's oh what do you know about your goal to get to get a goalie so good don't need to sign
him for five years mackenzie freaking blackwood congrats the blackwood on the vesna after
shit talking them let's get the old barn burner bump
But I don't know.
It seemed odd.
It's the same as the Joey Decord, right?
A lot of money.
But there again, maybe it's old guys, but I don't think we are.
I don't.
It's less about the money.
It's like you just said.
Why didn't you make him go earn?
Maybe he has earned it.
I don't know his numbers.
I don't know nothing about him other than people have said, oh, he's coming along.
He's going to be good.
He's been okay.
Is there a panic?
There's a panic to get this done?
We can't miss out on this guy?
That's, that was kind of my.
thing. You are the Colorado Avalanche. You for the foreseeable future have as good a shot as
anybody to win this stupid thing. Do you have to pull your pants down and beg this guy to stay
with you? Five million, whatever it was five times 26 and something like holy. Holy smackers. That's what I
said as soon as I saw it. Holy smackers. Let's do the Pinder report. Pinter Report presentation of
Village Honda. It's a new year, but you know what hasn't changed?
The quality service, the people, the attention to detail, and top quality products.
That's what you get at Village Honda.
I know what you're saying.
So if I go to other dealerships, are you saying I don't get that?
That's exactly what I'm saying.
You don't get that.
You're going to notice the difference immediately.
It's like, this just feels much better.
Much happier here.
The coffee's definitely better.
This coffee machine they got is tremendous.
And then the deals seem better and the doors on these Hondas, the way they close,
It's unreal.
Only a village haunted people.
That's all you're getting is quality,
quality craftsmanship and dedicated service at your dealership for life in the Northwest
Automol.
Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving,
a New Year's Day yesterday.
There was college football and there was one hockey game,
but they're going to get back into it tonight.
There's 12 games.
A baker's dozen tonight on the go in the National Hockey League.
And I don't know if you were,
maybe, because I kind of miss.
missed it. Alex Ovechkin, he's back after, after being injured.
Didn't know.
Played two games, two more goals.
Yeah, why not?
Still shoot.
Right up.
Pick right up, retro from where he left off.
He has got the, uh, the Minnesota wild tonight.
The capitals in the wild.
And I forget what the stat is.
Let's see if I, I'll probably dig it up here.
Would you say those two teams are a bit of a stunner?
Certainly. Well, yeah. Maybe you could see the wild a little bit, but again, I can't talk about Washington because you give me, you give me the gears about it. Look at the capitals are leading the metro.
They're leading the whole east. Yeah, their tops. I mean, it's.
Least amount of games play at most points. It's not bad. Yeah. Now, Ovechkin versus the Minnesota Wild. It says here,
Ovechkin goes wild versus Minnesota.
See what they did there?
His 0.83 goals per game rate against the Wilde is the highest against any franchise that he's played.
That's a minimum five games because there's Utah and stuff like that.
He has no, he is most success.
So much success.
The success, just so much unbelievable success against the Minnesota Wild.
So maybe just maybe he can pull it off.
he's 25 goals away from breaking Wayne's record.
How many games left?
A lot.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The caps have 37.
They've got 45.
All right.
Wow.
I mean, I'm going to take your word.
You can say 105, but if you said it, it's, oh, that's a lot of games.
It's already after Christmas.
So that's one of the ones on the, throw up the, the sked there for us, Jack.
The avalanche.
they've won five in a row.
They can make it six against the Sabres.
We'll talk about them in a moment.
Carolina and Florida,
that should be a banger.
The Rangers will also talk about
in a moment.
They got Boston at home.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Tampa in San Jose,
Sabres.
So there it is.
There's your 12 games sked tonight.
How about my Sabres coming out of the break hot?
just three in a row right
crushing or they had lost 13
and then I believe I've won
three or something like that since
beat Chicago showed them
blackhawed sure did
yeah yeah if you get a chance
this is I mean hey it's a podcast world and we know it's out there
Ryan Whitney on spit and chicklets
has a story he was at the
outdoor game on New Year's Eve
St. Louis Chicago
and I mean it's his story
and I, but I'll kind of blow it for him here.
He could tell it way better than I can.
But he's telling the story, you know, even kids do this.
So when your kid's hockey team, but you put five pucks on each blue line.
Split the teams in half here.
Red, blue.
Blow the whistle.
Okay, so you got to score five goals.
So first guy goes, if you don't score, you got to go get the puck out of the corner,
drop it back to the blue line, skate to the bench.
Next guy goes.
You score?
Okay, well, now you need four more goals.
And then you score, you get three more.
He's like, they went for 35 fucking minutes.
they could not no one can score he's like this team is so bad there is there is so little talent
it was painful watching these poor bastards it's like morazic let one in already this is
this is terrible they just kept going and going and going uh chicago's not good
no demoralizing yeah not a good team where are they here 26 points i mean they're they're last
by a stretch here now san Jose
They're putting some distance.
They're putting some distance.
Yeah, certainly against the east.
They've lost five straight.
Sharks four in a row.
Nashville's lost three in a row.
Cheese toast.
Delicious.
Bad news for the Rangers.
Igor Shasturkin to the IR.
Louis Doming has been called up from the American League.
Calling an upper body injury for Shasturkin.
Rangers have lost four in a row, seven of eight, and 15 of 19 games.
They are ahead of only the Buffalo Sabres from the basement in the East.
The Rangers.
Last year's president's trophy winners have 33 points.
The Sabres have 32.
Now the Sabers have played more, but regardless.
It could not be going worse.
One of the favorites.
One of the favorites probably to win the cup at the start of the year.
Yeah, I think I had them coming out of the east, yeah, for sure.
And I don't know, like, was it, Schadenfreude?
We take pleasure in other people's misfortune.
Oh, absolutely.
I don't have any reason to.
But there's kind of part of me that's like, you know what, suck it, Chris, Jerry.
Yep.
The way you kind of, you, the way you've handled things.
I did true, but kind of dirty, for sure.
You did true, but real dirty, I think.
I don't think it's been handled well at all.
No.
And I think you can look at the players and go, they've had it.
Now, the only saving grace, or it's not even saving grace, I don't know what term it is,
but is Drury just doing the boss's bidding?
This is what I said to Frank the other day.
So is Drury just kind of, no, he's above all of it?
Winner, he's not going anywhere.
Is he Jim, is he Dolan's puppet?
And he's just thick as thieves with the ownership.
They just do it, like you say, just doing whatever if the owner's pissed off.
And we know he, he's an emotional guy.
Bolin is not to say he's not smart, but if he wants to stick it to somebody, he'll do it.
He's just an emotional guy, and it just does not seem like they, uh, they're going to pull out of this.
Oh, they're not now.
You don't get that low.
There's too many teams between you and the playoff spot.
It's no way.
And was she Sturkin out?
She's sterkens out.
No chance.
When do they fire Laviolet?
That's, it feels like that's going to happen for sure.
And yeah, how bad is it's an upper body injury.
And with him, they've been the shits.
Yes.
And does it not completely appear to be from where we sit a team that's thrown in a towel?
Sure does.
Right?
Like, there's too much talent.
They're too good.
Like, this isn't a middling team.
No.
So what's the issue?
They're not, they're not into it.
They're pissed.
Now, the other thing, Drury put out that list and it got leaked.
Is that him?
Is that on him?
I don't know.
Like is that how business is being conducted in the past and no one has ever let it out?
Like is there a code of conduct that the GMs should have a better?
I feel like there has to be.
Yeah.
But or do you just not do that?
Do you phone and say, listen, your phone, there's not that many teams.
You can phone everyone you need to talk to.
And not just throw out a general.
Yeah.
Hey, I've got my eighth defenseman on a one-way deal.
Is anybody interested?
Chris Kreider.
I mean, Jacob truly like sending out the star players, the guys.
And you said it, I mean, to throw myself under the bus.
And I mean, I was just said, you know what?
These guys just got to get to Christmas.
Just get away from the rank.
Take a couple days.
Well, they lost on the 22nd and the 23rd.
They got away from the rank.
They went away for Christmas.
And they've lost two in a row since.
to the tune of 11 to 5.
They've been all scored in those two games.
Not great.
What's next?
Arbor Day, when's the next break they can get to get away from the ring
and just kind of chill out.
Oh, poor Rangers, you know what?
Chris, you got this.
You're going to turn this around.
You're going to pull all the great strings.
Hands on the wheel.
Keep a going on.
You got this.
You got this.
You watch any World Juniors?
I've watched some.
I've been unimpressed with,
Our team here in Canada, as most people have me.
Yeah, they, they lose to Latvia.
And then they lose to the Americans.
Lackluster against Latvia.
Yeah.
Beat Germany, but was like, okay, so 3-0 against Germany.
And they've got Chechia in the quarterfinals.
Chechia went three and one in the preliminary round.
Canada's coming off their loss of the U.S.
They were undisciplined.
That's the mark.
That's the takeaway from this game.
They were short-handed for close to 12 minutes out of the 60 that they played
and gave up three power play goals against.
That's a fifth of the game, Dean.
Too hard to win that way.
Yeah, yeah.
And is it Dave Cameron, the coach, she was asked.
Yeah, the retreads coaches that are out there.
Again, I don't dislike Dave Cameron, but just.
Yeah.
I think he's a very nice guy.
Who's down the hall?
Who's?
Yeah, yeah, you run with this.
Yeah, yeah.
He was asked about, so with the discipline,
the dumb penalties, guys taking,
it's hurting the team.
What do you do?
Well, I mean, that's the players.
I don't know, not much I can do about it.
Okay.
Glad you there.
Yeah, so what are we,
what are we doing if we're not trying to steer the ship here?
It doesn't bode well.
Everybody's pointing at the,
it goes back to the selection,
process and what was said i'm not right or wrong because i don't have an opinion but it did seem
weird you guys better win if you if you're going to kind of blaze your own trail and fly in the
face of conventional thinking and wisdom and you want a team you don't leave some higher skilled
guys off and all this all right isn't it a heartless heartless it's an extremely tough situation
because you could literally have two teams right i got i got
I was actually thinking about that on the drive home yesterday going,
why don't they just do two teams?
There aren't enough good teams anyway.
You could have an East and a West team, no problem.
Or even if you want to combine them and just take two teams out of Canada and there's
no, I don't know what you'd call them and they will never do it, but you literally could.
And there's defensemen and players that don't make it.
And you can argue they should, but it's not clear cut.
Who, like, I don't think, I don't follow it enough either, but who is the one guy that should
Beyond the team, absolutely full stop.
No questions asked.
How can you pass him by?
Well, the name that comes up the most often is Zane Perrick.
Their power play is struck.
The reason that he comes up the most often is because you're in Calgary.
No, honestly, I think if you look around, he's regarded as.
He's also run his yap a little bit this year, hasn't he?
Yeah, I don't know.
He might.
Yeah, honestly, I say that only because I don't know.
I thought he had some smart-ass tweet after somebody got hurt.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know.
You're big on social media.
I'm so big.
Yeah.
I don't really watch that much.
But I mean, Jakubchuk, there's just some guys that clearly you would think would be locks to make the team that didn't get invited.
Yeah.
And that's all again, it's not there.
Well, maybe it's because he's injured.
And then, but then Parr gets to camp and then they cut him again.
Well, you knew they were going to.
cut him if he was yeah there was no way he was making that team there's you tell me there's no
politics involved no it that's the thing it's all politics right like the agents and the
gms of certain junior team like come on come on yeah guys involved that have ties to nchal teams and
draft picks and that whole thing and hey good luck against chetchia the calling card for chetchia is that they
work their friggin bags off.
And if you don't match it, you're going to be in trouble.
Isn't it funny, though, like hockey Canada, people are kind of annoyed with, let's say that.
Still want to cheer for team Canada.
The kids want the team to do well.
But how these guys are operating things and picket teams, like, people are like,
I'm done with listening to you guys.
Yeah, I know.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Love the country.
Love the jersey.
Want them to win.
don't like a lot of the things that are going on with this now.
Don't like it.
So we'll see how that goes.
5.30 today if you were looking for a little Canada Chechia action in your life.
If you need some more couch time.
NFL off to the weekend.
You must feel good about the bills.
Absolutely.
Josh going to start.
What do you think?
But a series?
Then they'll sit him down.
Only a series?
They're going to put him in so he can have his.
So he can have his consecutive starts or start every, you know, blah, blah, blah kind of thing.
But they got the New England Patriots looking here right now.
There's a lot of a lot of action, money and and betting on the bills.
Wow.
Okay.
A favorite.
A lot of the betting public feel that they like the bills in this one.
Is that line right, Jack?
I'm just like a minus two?
Yep, that's what I'm seeing.
I like the bills too.
Who's their backup?
Wow.
Does it matter?
It's Trebeske.
Ooh.
I guess it does.
That's the thing.
You know what?
We love bet three seconds.
It's so hard to bet week 18.
Oh, yeah.
Like minus two.
Give me some.
Or is anyone playing?
Like is Rob Ray suiting up for the bills on on Sunday?
What else we got?
Games that matter.
The Falcons are still,
they still have a shred of hope, right?
Texas are in.
Colts got bounced.
The box.
Box are favored by 13 and a half at home to New Orleans.
That Saints team is so bad.
So bad.
They were bad with Carr and Camara and Olavé and then lost them.
Eagles home to the Giants,
Siriani says,
probably good chance
that Sequin Barclay's going to rest.
He is within striking distance of the all-time
rushing.
They're going to try and get him the...
Doesn't sound like it.
Really?
Last week he... They probably asked him.
Yeah, I think they did.
Last week, he got like 2003 yards.
He just got over the 2000 yard mark.
Side line, didn't see the field again.
So it's as though that was
something that mattered to him.
But to do it against the job.
would be pretty sweet, you would think.
Chiefs at Broncos.
Broncos are still there, right?
I think so.
Charters.
Dolphins need a win.
And all these games are on Sunday.
Two on Saturday.
The rest on Sunday.
Bengals, Steelers. Saturday night.
I'm tired of all these weird games.
Put me on a Sunday at 11th.
A lot of Wednesday.
day at 11 or Saturday at 8 o'clock or whatever it is, 6 o'clock.
6 o'clock Saturday, at home to the Bengals.
Yeah.
What's, uh, we don't need the Jack.
I don't know that we haven't updated Jack on it.
You know, we can just kind of, you know, what's your, what's your gut feel there?
Well, the Bengals need to win and their favorites, not surprisingly.
Yeah, Red, it's been tough.
Three really bad losses in a row.
Three in a row, Jack.
Three in a row and like really bad.
like they shouldn't even show up.
So I don't know.
I'm like me and Dean were talking about it on Monday.
I'm like,
yeah,
they're probably just going to make the playoffs and get blown up.
Just like last.
Kind of feel it.
All that feels really kind of anticlimactic.
All the highs and lows.
All best ever.
Oh, man.
We were in Jupiter.
We were on the moon for like two weeks.
You were.
You were walking on the surface of the moon.
elated elated and i said before that these last three games i said we got to win one and then it's
blowout against the eagles blown out against the ravens blown out against the chiefs on
christmas at home at home i was listening to maccophie the other days like if you think about that
the the yinzers as they call them you know what no christmas this year no turkey
the steelers are playing on christmas day we're going to the game
we'll do gifts some other time.
Just don't worry about it.
Focus on what's right.
So you postpone.
You basically give the Heisman to Christmas
because we're going to aquasurer or whatever the hell it's called.
And then your team gets just snot bubbled.
We could be at home right now in the couch with turkey and presents.
Nice bottle of whiskey.
But I'm sitting here in the cold watching the Steelers just get dummied.
next year jack be a great near but what was it they're gonna they got to what texans that that's not locked down is that not locked down so if they win they'll play the texans if they lose they could go i think i think the worst they could do is the six they could go to like baltimore i don't think the bills can move from two so yeah they go to baltimore play houston yeah please play houston and then we can get blown out the next game so cincic can still make it yeah
Yeah, they need the chiefs to beat the Broncos and then the Dolphins to lose to.
Yeah, they need the Dolphins and the Broncos to lose.
Where the Dolphins playing?
The Jets.
Ooh.
J-E-T-E.
Yeah.
Yeah.
How would you feel about Bengals round one, Red?
Not good.
Yeah.
That's why I was, I'm like, ooh, I like the Bengals.
Binkles can be good.
Now, Brown got injured.
We don't need to get too deep into it.
But just that, you know,
they're running back has been pretty good for them.
It looked like he went down at about the two or one yard line last week.
Higgins had three touchdowns.
Jemar Chase is pretty good.
Burroughs feeling.
Maybe I could play running back and still imagine.
Okay.
You don't want that to remember the Achilles?
Yeah.
And my pelvis.
Yes.
Don't need to start my NFL career with frightening images of my Achilles and my pelvis
in front of my head.
That's going to do it for the Pinda Report today.
Is there anything else, Jack?
That's probably good, eh?
Anything else?
What do we got?
Yes.
You forgot the Circle K Classic was on.
Right.
Bastards from Shattuck won it again.
Shattuck St. Mary's.
Powerhouse.
Back to back.
They're cheaters because all the kids are older.
Yeah.
But.
CIHA.
C-I-H-A local team, right?
Yeah.
Awesome.
One nothing, right?
Wasn't it?
A win sport?
They got.
They got shit pumped the first game against Shattuck and the round robin.
I think 9 to 3 or something like that.
Shattuck rolled.
But that last game won nothing.
That's a tough tournament.
Those are, that's a lot of hockey games.
Like every day for a week and then throw two on one of them.
High level, just in everything intense, intense, intense.
And like you say, it's you're, are you tired?
Okay.
Well, we play again in nine minutes.
So get ready.
because we're going to play again.
Definitely blow a hamstring or an Achilles.
Yeah, pelvis, pelvis injuries.
That's the Pinda report for McLeod.
For Village Honda, located online at villagehonda.com in the Northwest Auto Mall.
I believe today, I was looking online this morning.
Today's the last day.
It would tell you about the Honda Ridge Line and the V-Vis.
The 2025 Ridge Line Black Edition, a $2,000 Honda bonus and qualified Honda owners in a
additional $2,000 loyalty bonus ends today.
So if you've been sitting there thinking,
I've heard fact boy talking about the Ridgeline,
I'll get one.
I'm just to be out busy.
I got gifts and,
you know,
we're going out for New Year's,
no excuse.
So chop,
chop,
get there today.
Imagine if you were one of those
qualified Honda owners.
You just,
here's another two grand.
Here's another $2,000 bonus just for being a,
what?
What?
Really?
Thank you.
So nice.
That would make your day.
Little old me.
Well, you're a qualified Honda owner.
Yes, I am.
Now that you may, you know, thank you.
Thank you very much.
I see we've got a couple things here.
We got a bit of being around in a noisy.
Chicken allah king.
Have you had that, Turkey alla king?
I don't think so.
What is it?
I think it's like an old school.
I think I had it when I was little, like growing up.
I've had alamode.
I know that.
It's the left.
over it's just it's almost like a turkey gravy soup that you make toast and put it on the toast
really anyway they had it on the deck at the ski hill delicious just some ideas for your leftovers
okay all right down chicken a la king turkey turkey alla king okay got it i'm thinking about this this contest
jack that we were going to i was going to talk about it ends in like 40 minutes so we'll just skip it we'll
talk about him tomorrow.
Sounds how about that?
Especially on a podcast.
It's so time sensitive.
At the time people listen to it,
you know,
I can't,
I can't enter now because it's a pod.
I was listening.
That was when did you record it?
How am I supposed to know?
So we'll tell you about that tomorrow.
So I see now,
it just says Ozzy Brad.
What's our context here, Jack?
It's,
it is Ozzy Brad.
He's just checking in.
Nice.
No swearing or anything in this one, but he might be in the bag a little bit.
Well, I don't know if it matters.
A little visit from our pal Ozzy Brad.
Boom, boom.
Pinda.
Fucking retro.
There's not much I want to fucking check in on, but this is my front of night.
A bit of fucking footing.
And these dreams, eh?
Every night these dreams.
Boomer?
fucking gay punch of my head
and my fucking piss of cats
ha ha ha ha ha
who has more fun
and he's
it seems like he's never with anybody
no he's just sitting there by himself
very content
you know it's New Year's
I got heart cranked in the background
what was he showing us on the tabletop there
what was it's like a jukebox
yeah it's got some music
these dreams
They keep coming true.
Thank you, Ozzy Brad.
God, that's great.
Can you pick play it one more time?
I see you've got it.
So what is that?
He's got,
it's like,
always moving players around on the board.
He's got lineups.
That's what it is.
Yeah,
he's got some sort of a depth chart
for the AFL.
Of course he does.
Oh, that's great.
Boom, boom.
Pina.
Back in, rich.
there's not much I want to fucking check in on
but this is my front of night
a bit of fucking footing
and these dreams, eh?
Every nasty streams.
Boomer?
I can keep punching, mate.
There's the mo.
Fuck a piss of cunts.
Oh, man.
There's no swearing in that one, hey, Jack?
No.
Clean?
Yeah, that was a clean one.
Good.
Happy to have.
some G-rated content for once from Ozzie Brad.
That's delightful.
Let's do our bet three, six, five.
We'll take a look at tonight.
As we mentioned, 12 games in the National Hockey League.
We've got to wait till the weekend,
got to wait until Saturday for some NFL.
We'll talk about that tomorrow.
But there it is, bet 365.
Use that promo code nation when you sign up if you haven't already.
Get the app.
I was telling Jack the other day,
the Giants kind of dummied the Indianapolis Colts.
I won twice.
with the giants.
I went in minus four and a half.
It's like they're going to clear.
Minus seven and a half.
Yeah, let's do that one too.
Ding, ding, ding.
One on both.
That's the lovely thing about it.
Just in game.
Oh, yeah.
That's what I do.
That's a real read on things.
Hey, Dean?
That's right.
Open an account, use the promo code.
It's the world's largest sports betting platform.
Whatever the moment, it's never ordinary.
I bet three, six five.
Of the 12 games tonight, I picked this one.
Now I told you, Alex of Etchkin,
25 goals away from breaking,
Gretzky's all-time goal-scoring record.
Came back against the Leafs, scored.
Came back against the Detroit Red Wings, scored.
He's got the Wild tonight.
We told you he's at a 0.83 goals per game clip against the wild all-time.
He's a plus-130 for an anytime goal.
Maybe you think he scored first, plus 850.
There you go.
That's just some of the goal scoring that's on the board for you there today.
But I do like the OV at a plus-130.
That's the other thing, too.
The closer we get to it.
He's going to be out for two minutes out of two on every power play.
Every empty net, he is going to be out there.
The one he scored against Toronto was a beauty.
I don't know if you saw it.
He was all alone at Cenerates.
Do you actually think that?
Because to me, it's a foregone conclusion now.
Yes.
And whether or not he gets it this year, it's inevitable.
What the team doing so well is, I don't know, I guess there's no downside to have him
out there ripping him shots and scoring.
Yeah.
I'm just wondering how for hard they'll push on it with the team kind of sitting in first and in a great spot,
whether you need to give them any extra to get there.
Yeah.
Because he is playing well.
It'd be one thing if he wasn't playing well and now you're putting him out there and potentially hurting the team, I guess.
But probably the sooner the better for everybody there.
Yeah.
So there you go.
That's on the board tonight.
Or maybe you like Joel Erickson Eck.
I do like Joel Ericksonac, but not in this circumstance.
Not in this scenario.
Bet 365.
Whatever the moment, it's never ordinary at Bed 365.
Well, I got some turkey all the king to make today from the sounds of it.
Got some of that on the go.
We got the flames tonight, 7 o'clock against the Utah's.
And I believe tomorrow, everybody back together.
Really?
Yeah.
You, me, Pinder, Jackie Boy?
Pinder?
Why is Pinder back?
I don't know.
He's so weird.
Yeah, I don't know.
I think that was the plan,
but that can change at any.
Wow, this wasn't part of my plan, but here I am.
Yeah, we appreciate it, though.
Oh, I know.
Appreciate you.
It goes a long way.
Yeah, appreciate you for sure.
So have a fine rest of your day back tomorrow.
After Burner tonight, check it out on our YouTube channel.
When the game is over, switch on your YouTube and be ready for some hard hitting,
hardcore analysis post game with whoever's doing it.
Maybe me.
Don't know.
but be good.
We'll see it.
That'll do it.
See you, buddies.
