Happy Tuesday, everyone. Welcome to Barnburner, a presentation of Bet365, our official gaming partner, and just all around good buddies, good people.
Bet365, whatever your bet is, it's never ordinary at Bet365.
Download the app, get in in the game. You must be 19 years of age or older.
It's game props, player props, totals, the money lines. You know how it goes. It's all right there for you just wait.
And as we are live, we will entertain taking your money by way of donation in the U.S.
YouTube chat and then quite likely pass it along to the US
centers of Calgary with which they will use.
Sorry.
There's been audited.
We gave them 100% of the money in the fall and that's not going to change.
Good stuff.
Do you do the audit?
Who was doing the math?
I mean, yeah.
Okay.
Aside from a pint here there.
That's most of the kids.
Peter Klein, a cloud law line one for Ryan Pinder.
Yeah, I mean, come on, if we're, we got McLeodlaw.
Not messing around here.
I'm not doing anything untoward.
We know better.
Nothing uncouth.
No, nothing unsavory going on around here.
Well, maybe it's giving you a bit of a strut because you've got them on your...
No, no, no.
No?
You would be strut, no.
They would, if it came down to it, it'd be okay.
Well, what you've done here is it's not right and it's elite.
We're going to have to make this right.
Yeah, but you guys are our lawyers.
Yeah, but we're also lawyers.
We know laws.
So we know what's right,
and that's
the bag of mushrooms
that you purchased with the
donation money.
That's not a...
That's not office supplies.
That's a business expense, Dean.
I see the problem.
Fair enough. Fair enough.
Oh, welcome to the show. We're into it.
Here in the McLeodlaw Studios.
Weather's warming up.
We're back.
That cold snap of...
I'm finally going to be able to do...
We got through it somehow.
We get to minus 30s there.
It wasn't bleeping around.
I'm finally going to be able to do a Greg Keller Bontan meat steak at an open fire.
Oh, yeah.
Why are you going to do that, eh?
Oh, I'm going to do it.
People think I'm not, but I'm going to.
It's not just an idea.
Because you're motivated and bored.
Bored.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So now you're going to use your boredom, which is spare time and use the motivation and cook a steak over an open fire.
So are you thinking because we've, we've had the steak talk.
And then Greg showed, we had that picture last week.
Greg doing the open the fire pit T-bone steak.
That's inspiration.
To which we kind of remarks,
I haven't done a T-bone a long time.
You get the maybe a filet or a strip,
certainly the ribbyes, very popular.
It's kind of the sexy of the sexiest of the steaks, perhaps.
T-bone.
Are we sleeping on the T-bone?
So good.
Actually, T-bone sounds great.
I actually think that the bone part
would be good on an open fire.
Is it char?
Chars, but I think it keeps it even
little moist.
They say, yeah, they say.
Yeah, that's what they say.
And you got a dog now.
I got a dog.
Oh, wow.
Careful.
That dogs.
Give him that said, that's bone afterwards.
He'd be your best buddy for the rest of his life.
Careful.
How's he doing, by the way?
He's still alive, hey?
That's great.
Had to throw out the, we're getting rid of him last night.
How'd that go over?
Oh, my.
Bontan meat market.
I was up there.
I know when you're up there.
It wasn't long ago, and you got some cake.
I did.
I got some cheesecake.
I got some potato salad.
I got some ribby.
And the boss said, you can all have this here.
Yeah, yeah.
But not this year.
Yeah.
She had it on good authority from someone that the chocolate cheesecake from Bontan was the best in the city.
So I had to go and this is a lot of chocolate.
Chocolate cakes and cheesecake and that.
So I had to just kind of take a whole bunch of others.
Okay, we'll take some of those, some of those.
And she's very generous and giving and thoughtful and nice,
except when it comes to cheesecake.
she'll punch you right in the face.
Oh, see, mine is if you go near the cheesecake.
Not just cheesecake. If there's food involved,
there's been a flag planted.
No, bueno.
Yeah.
Now, those reviews that she'd heard, the gossip about the cheesecake, was it accurate?
Well, I think she came back around, because again, I don't know.
I just bought it a bunch of just some of everything.
Well, you're a giver.
But it was the coconut creme brulee cheesecake, I think.
did you that one she put up the hard the whole heisman there was just up telling everybody in the house
go through hands don't be touching that just keep your filthy mitts off of that cheesecake pause away
mummies so anyway just going back to my original point um what i was up there i saw on the sign
i think they're up to 26 consecutive years now really they got another right yeah 26 consecutive years
of southern alberta's consumer's choice award winner for best i think i saw bet through six five there
like minus 10,000 to win it again.
Everyone's just expecting it now.
Yeah, it's just, you're going to feel old.
I'll be careful.
Just be careful.
Oh, the Americans won that you'll play three on three at some point.
And then some since I've been alive, they've been the best.
That's right.
Even when you were dead, they were still the best.
Shut up, Jack.
I want to hear about your.
If there was a way, if AI could go through our algorithm,
just find all the times that we've said,
shut up Jack and just do a shut up Jack montage.
It might be my favorite thing in the world.
Yeah, it would take an hour.
It could also happen.
I'm working on an AI agent,
so I don't have to come in and do this anymore.
That's a great idea.
It'll be me.
It'll act like me.
It'll have my knowledge and the great takes,
stunning looks,
but also the rugged good looks.
I won't have to be here.
So it'll be good.
Will it have tales of debauchery and whiteboard insights?
Oh, sure.
I'm going to download it.
Is that my robot from yesterday?
No, better than that one.
Send the robot out and the hard drive takes it all in and you come,
it's like,
I just got to sit in the tub all day.
I think the takeaway on that was that the robot got mad at you and made you do all the work at the end.
I just don't want that robot turning on me.
I still have no recourse.
It's like, well, you're a robot.
What am I supposed to do?
There's nothing you can do.
So yeah, I would go with the.
A.
I'm a T bone today.
Yeah, T bone.
T bone.
T bone.
I've not had a T-bone.
And now that we're talking about it and I didn't eat yesterday, it sounds real.
Yeah.
Are you coming up at the end of us?
fast right here. Monday's after the show.
I might go to
tomorrow, Jack. What do you think? Another day?
Another day. It's only 24 hours. Are you eating Jack?
No, I didn't eat yesterday either.
I feel like I'm turning the corner here. I'm feeling really good.
Yeah, good. Where you were? Just a short.
Yeah, you were down in the muck or days ago.
Wow. Yeah. Would have been tough to go. He was
face down in the dumpster juice.
He was no good.
Right. At the bottom of the old bin, people have thrown their
bags a crap all over.
Literally.
He just like,
you know,
literally one day with RJ,
that'll get you.
Yeah,
RJ will bring you down.
He really is.
He's going to save his money.
A wild man out there.
Well,
Pinda Report coming up.
Yeah,
we're still a day away.
Push the button.
I mean,
I kind of want hockey tonight,
but we're not ready yet.
I thought we'd take a quick peek.
A quick peekaroo.
A quick peekaroo.
Like a look.
behind the curtain? Not really.
Bet 365,
official gaming partner.
Yeah.
The Stanley Cup odds,
obviously they're not going to change,
but they are out.
And I feel like,
I hear you sometimes talking about,
well, they have so many points.
Well, if they were in the east,
they would have, you know,
the strength in the east or this is in the west.
This division.
Yeah.
A bit of home ice.
This one, they're out.
Right.
So just kind of where,
where's our confidence
as we, in a way,
kind of turn the corner, down the stretch.
Yeah.
What are the legit cup threats?
How many teams would you
legitimately put money down on and say,
yeah, I think they can win.
And we can start with the cup odds
because that's it in a very little
literal way you can do.
I always forget teams.
But then...
For context, we get about 26 games left
for the flame. So most teams will be probably between
24 and 28 games left.
All right. Yeah, sure, great.
So the avalanche are still well out in front.
guess the lightning have uh have done a lot of winning we'll talk about them in a little bit the canes
Vegas that don't look great oilers ahead of teams like Dallas and minnesota a bit surprising
i think that's the format yeah yeah Florida is well out as we said we start with who okay well you're
going through them all sorry and then the kings are on the outside Montreal is their second in their
division but are well down and we don't say a word about the mammoth my moot
but they're in that mix as well.
Okay, well, let's cross off the guys we don't,
I don't think L.A. has a hopes hell.
I disagree.
I think they're going to add a center and they just got Panarin.
They just lost Fial.
Yeah, so they, they need a center.
They're not even in the playoffs.
Okay, but it's a weak division.
We can all have our own opinion.
I just don't think.
They've got a goalie?
I would not put a dime on the king, so Ryan would.
30 to 1, I would.
At 15 to 1, I'm laughing at it.
But, yeah, like, that's a team that's,
could have home ice they're not far from that given how shitty the pacific is i just go
colorado yes they guess i can get behind although i question how they're playing they haven't
they're they've got points but i don't know that they've been what's the word i'm searching for
kind of well they don't have control like yeah it doesn't feel like they're a lot of dress rehearsals
right yeah i will never give the others any credit and i think they're screwed yep the stars i could
get behind. The wild I could get
behind. So my team's two win.
How many can do I get? Well, half.
You can have as many as you want. I'd go the top
two there. One, two,
three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine.
I don't. Let's go to the, yeah. So you
kind of get a sense as to what Vegas is
feeling. Go ahead, right? Let's go ahead.
The Dallas Minnesota odds. Yes.
Look very long. And that's because they're going to play each other in
round one. Colorado is going to win that central.
unless there's a catastrophe.
And so you will eliminate one of those teams.
And it feels kind of coin tossy.
You know, we're going to get an update on Ranting in soon.
He's not going to be healthy.
He's on the IR.
And so how long he stays there is the update we're waiting for.
Meanwhile, Minnesota, I don't think you just add Quinn Hughes and say,
okay, kick your feet up.
We're good.
They're going to add.
And I think when you see the odds of teams that are out of it that are on this top 10, 12,
there's the, okay, if it may,
matters, they can do it. Like if Florida gets into this tournament and finally healthy, you have to
camp out against them. Too dangerous. It's just getting in is going to be really tough. And I don't
like the Kings at all right now, but they're clearly in push chips in mode. When you go add Panarin
and when you've got the roster at sort of where it is in the life cycle, the last year at Coppitar,
they're going to add maybe a Rob Thomas type player like the center. So I'm not going to bet them
because I like them today because I think they're adding a significant piece. The only thing I would
say there is the cost wasn't
prohibitive to bring in Panarin. Yeah, I think
Panarin Pinsneran. It was great to do. Which is great
because now you have more assets to spend. I understand, but what I'm saying
is I don't know if that necessarily signals all in, like pushing
all chips in. It was, it was an affordable price.
I just look at Dowell and Copartar and Kemper. It's a few times now.
They're not bubbling with young players. And that's fine. You can have
players that are close to retirement and not, like, they're not a play.
They're not a playoff team today. I am kind of with red. I just don't.
They haven't gotten out of the first.
I don't know how they.
overcome again i'm
you're probably right they probably
will add and maybe they will improve
but i just think today
with the roster the way it is
even with panarin they've lost
you of to me that's a wash
I don't go that far but it's lost
you've haven't you know what I tell it in tell it out for sure
Colorado Tampa Bay
Dallas and Minnesota I have way ahead of
LA in today just yeah
and I would too it's just at 30 to 1
I'm like ooh that's one yeah that's
That's the thing with looking is the game, right?
This is the game.
There's who do you think actually has a chance?
There's bet your life and then there's bet these odds.
And then there's like what number do you like?
Yeah.
I think Montreal is going to be a significant player at the deadline too.
They can be patient, but they could also push chips.
And in that division, let's look at the East Stand.
There is no wrong move for Montreal because they have, I believe, a cupboard full of the top system in hockey.
Yes.
Yeah.
And so even if they go all in, they're young enough where they haven't surer.
the future. Do you know what I mean?
Sometimes teams get into a situation
where it's like, oh, we're gonna,
we're pushing them in. Well,
okay, but you're gonna be shitty for the next
five years if you don't win.
I don't feel that about Montreal at all.
Nope, quite the opposite. They're the youngest team in the league
and have an incredible prospect covered
and you can turn some of those young players
into guys to help now, or you can sit back and wait another year.
We'll see what they do.
They won four or five prior to the break.
They're pretty good
on the road actually. They're better on the road than they are at home, are the, are the haves like
that for the playoffs. Detroit was nowhere to be found in that that again, it was top 12 or whatever
I grabbed there. But Detroit has been, they're another one of those teams that were they're good and I think
they'll add. Yeah. They finally started to turn a corner. We don't talk about Carolina at all.
They're doing what they do every year. You're going to win that division. They're good and they're not
terribly successful. I've got to be honest, just to a slight side note, this is not the group of teams that I
expect to see on this list today at the start of the year you're like oh god no yeah
Pittsburgh everyone thought would be dead islanders you were thinking montreal detroit would be fighting
but there's no way you didn't have florida in one of those top three spots
boston right surprising certainly buffalo yeah anyway sorry
Carolina's been fortunate that their goaltending has held up despite injuries they had
anderson who gets hurt and then they had check off he gets hurt and then this brandon bussey comes
in 23 three and one i have a
as my best.
You picked them.
There you go.
2.16 and a 908.
He's been splendid for them.
Got the extension done a couple weeks ago,
1.9 million for the two years.
That's better than H.O.
money, right?
I don't know what else they have to do
for us to get excited about them.
At a star.
They did it last year,
and I don't know if we were any more excited.
Well, they added them and they traded them three weeks later.
So they'll probably kill the lives.
I don't know.
You feel like they're going to do more again.
I don't know if that's all.
always the answer. No, but
they've gotten deep in the playoffs so many
times. They're going to be aggressive.
I don't
disagree, but I just, yeah.
But you're right. There's lots of guys that add at the deadline
and it blows up in your face. You maybe would
be just as wise to
Right at it.
Tampa Bay at the top of the screen. They started
December losing four
in a row.
They then won 11 straight.
That's a good number. And are 19
one and one
in their last 21 games.
It's a buffalo level heater.
19 plus 1 plus 1 is 21.
If only holy.
Correct.
They've got 39 points out of it.
Kuturov has 77 in his last 33.
Kuturov is worth the price of admission all day.
23 in his last nine games.
I think we had in the stat before the Olympic break.
the Kucherov since Jan 1
would be the leading score on four teams
for the whole season.
Including the flames.
Again, I don't spend a whole lot of,
I have not paid that close attention to the Tampa Bay later.
You know what's having a monster here? There's Darren Radish.
I was going to say, Darren Raddish, Victor Headman has been out.
Yeah.
Darren Rattish.
Darren bleeping radish.
52 points in 49 games as a defense.
You're like, oh, who's this young buck?
Nope.
Late 20s.
Over a point of game on the blue, 22 minutes and a...
Free agent this summer.
What?
Are we talked, Darren Radish?
Connie.
Doesn't he play it?
Does he play beer league?
Yes.
That's a Tuesday afternoon skate.
Yeah, West Side, right?
I wonder he's got so many points.
Pretty crazy.
What they've, uh, what they've been able to do there.
I don't know at Vasilevsky is back if he was ever gone.
He is right behind Sorokin for Vesna odds.
So again, just a measure of how people's seasons are going.
Sorokin and then Vasselowski, your favorite and co-favorite or second favorite.
Awesome.
Vassi's numbers are a bit better.
First and save percentage, first and goals against,
tied with the-
better team.
The Rolkin's got the shutouts.
Yeah, and the wins, probably.
Well, maybe not the ones.
27 wins tied with Vamilka for tops in the league.
Wow.
So depending on if they get Hedman back,
because he did seemingly aggravate something at...
Again, the teams that are,
the Pittsburgh at the number two slot here is the team to worry about if
Kraus is out.
That's not on the last list.
And we don't have an update.
How's their panic level, John?
They are clear,
sailing into the playoffs.
Tampa Bay is, so Hedman could take a sweet
ass time. Bitsburgh.
Jack?
Goddrey?
No.
Filler?
They can't be making any big
swings. What?
Sid's not going to play forever,
you jackass?
Is Sid coming back? I don't know.
They will, to be
fair, what he said is what Caldubis
needs to know. Is he done for the year?
Is he back? If he's back, I got to bolster this thing.
Game bright.
He's back?
And that's a weird one because they've been on full tear down.
I said to this.
In many ways, trading guys out.
I said this to you guys a year ago.
They're so close to coming back because they've got Sid and Malkin and all those
all-stars.
They just need a couple of kids to come in.
And what's happened?
Kendall.
Kendall was a great pick.
God.
The other thing they did is some good one-year bets.
Like Anthony Manta's been right.
Locks for them.
And then Jack's Boy Brazzers.
Yeah.
taking all out RG's money.
And what needle dick.
Needledicks back.
So to revisit the original question,
how many teams there on that screen do you feel like I can see them to winning the cup?
I think Carolina and Tampa.
The young ones, like I love what Montreal is doing.
They haven't won a series yet.
So I feel like you need that seasoning.
Ditto, Detroit.
Boston,
I don't know that you even stay in this thing.
I think a Washington.
is a better team than them if they can reel them in
or get in the metro that's softer.
Because I feel the same as you.
They haven't been in the plas for 14 years.
We're talking about the east and how
how strong the east is.
But then when you look at it this way,
can Carolina do it?
Sure.
But they feel like they're a long ways away
from showing the kind of
what a Tampa or a Florida
or those teams that have one.
They don't have the player.
We didn't mention Kutrov or anything
like Kuturov with Carolina.
Now, that goaltender is kind of
come in and have been an absolute star.
And if that continues,
that is hard.
That can win you a Stanley Cup.
That is the deep team versus the starlighting team.
And they do have seasoning.
They've been through this song and dance too often.
Yeah.
Really?
Like Detroit, they've been somehow John Gibson has refound or playing the best
talking of his career.
Camp Talbot too, I think.
Is he not there?
16 of the last 18 starts have been John Gibson.
So just riding the wheels right off.
of him while he was playing well.
But let's take a look at the teams on the outside.
You mentioned some of those teams.
I don't know what Buffalo is because they were terrible and we were laughing at them.
And I called them they'd be booted.
If they were in soccer, they'd be relegated.
And now they're.
I think I like Washington, Ottawa, more than anyone outside of those two division
leaders if they can get in.
I don't like Washington.
59 games played.
Ovechkins getting older.
He's just not a central piece, though.
I love their goalies.
If you look at his ice time.
what's he playing
well he plays every power play all the power play
yeah which is where you want to use yeah
I love Ottawa's team they just haven't been getting
saves but that can change because
goalies
if they start getting saves Ottawa I think is one of the best teams
in the east what's the cutoff to get in
sir I already forgot
72 is
69 boss 69 for both
there you go yeah okay so
let's jump back
so Washington
games played aren't helping you, but you're four points out.
You're going to have to get on a roll.
Ottawa, it's a big hole to climb out of your six back.
But I see them as a top four team in the east that's been getting the shittiest of goaltending.
They just need a nice little run here.
And that's where I 100% disagree with you.
I agree with you, but I don't think they'll get the goaltending is what I'll say.
No, they haven't yet.
So to say they will would be a little foolish.
It's just if they could get safe.
saves, that's a team I could say.
If Ottawa gets saved, they could, yes.
And that's, we're on the same page.
The Rangers are coming.
Oh, God, they put a letter out saying, yep, we're back.
We got rid of the dead weight and we're ready to cruise.
Is it a, how, is it a disaster in New Jersey?
I believe it is in the jet, yes.
I would think that Tommy Fitzgerald's leash is.
It's getting shorter.
The good news is that's a young team, right?
It's not like.
It's been a young team, but it's been a young team that's supposed.
to be up and coming.
Last year, they were a top four
and cup odds at the beginning of the year. We're like,
ooh, we're big expectations here. Markstrom's
just okay. Jake Allen's been better.
Markstrom has not been what they
expected. No, no.
That deal continues to look better
and better for the points because he's been meth there.
And he sieved out in the playoffs
or in the Olympics what they need to say.
Florida's cooked.
I'm telling you, everyone thinks Florida's coming
back. No way. Ride it to
into the sunset. They'll be on the beach.
It's hammered right now.
Yeah, that, they've won to, and they played too much.
Markov's doing swatky.
Cardio trying to come back, watching Kachukh doing Jaeger bombs.
Well, and it wasn't just the Americans, like, you also got a few Canadians on that, like, it's Marshand, it's Sam Ryanhard, it's Mikala on the back end, it's Listerine and it's Lundel.
Like, they had a lot of guys go to the Olympics.
They're not fresh coming out of this.
Too much.
They might have the most NHLers, them in Minnesota.
We do have a trade.
Which one out?
Or a real one?
A real trade.
Some are not real.
Samuel Gerard to the pens for Brett Kulak.
Cool.
Cool.
Coolak to Colorado.
Wow.
So unpack this.
They get Kulak in the Skinner for Jari swap because they need to make the money work because
Jari makes more than skin dog.
So the Oilers had to put Kulak in that deal.
Something they probably didn't want to do for free.
And Calduvus is like, you need a goalie badly.
maybe you get the better goal here.
Maybe it's a lot of move, but I've got you over the barrel.
I'm going to take Kulak, and now he spins him into Sam Gerard,
a good offensive defenseman.
And Colorado gets a steady defensive force for the third pair.
He's been a good playoff player, Kulak.
Slot him properly. He's fine.
Forever a flame.
Yeah, forever a flame.
Forever put on waivers.
Yeah.
I don't know where Gerard's at.
He was sort of viewed as an up-and-coming offensive defensemen.
Gerard was behind Christ.
It was even up-and-coming, because he's
being there a long time.
Wasn't he part of the
freaking Duchenne deal?
Yeah.
Yeah.
He's had some.
I would say that regardless,
he hasn't really been
the stud that
was maybe expected when he came into
the league.
And what's the money here?
Does this balance out his money with
Kulaks?
That's what I wonder.
Anyway, nice to see some trades coming in.
Oh, shit.
Connie, let's go here.
Kulak from Edmonton to
Pittsburgh now to Denver.
Oh, it's just don't say hi to Nate.
Steer clear of Nate for a little bit, Fred.
No 24 hour roll.
It's a 24 day roll with Nate.
Hi, Nathan.
I'm Brett.
I just got traded here.
I was,
I like your stuffed animal.
Oh, Chad later.
See on the bus.
Catch up with you.
Got a bite to seem hungry.
Talk later.
Jack,
Pittsburgh fan immediate analysis.
I know your huge puck head on both.
I thought Brett Kulak.
With solid, third pairing D, I don't know enough about Samuel Gerard to be completely honest.
Small puck moving guy that could run a power blade, but not when you're on Kyle McCar's team.
Well, or Eric Carlson or Chris Litton's team.
Yeah, that is interesting.
I don't, I don't see it either, but.
Kulak makes 275, which is, I think, solid value for what he provides you.
And I wonder what Gerard's money is here.
You're going to find out, aren't you?
I'm just looking it up right now, trying to buy time.
Got to figure it out.
You're looking great today.
What a fast day.
Meanwhile, we can look at the West.
Wait, I want to say, I feel like Montreal is closer than we think,
and they have the ability to make changes.
And when that city gets going and those players are also, look out for wild rides.
Gerard makes five and has another year left.
So Colorado accrues space here, which will allow them to make more moves moving forward.
So if you feel like player to players lateral,
Colorado just opened up a bunch of cap space.
And I'm with you on Montreal.
They can slow play this or they can push chips now and be a beast.
When you've got the number of top end prospects that they have,
that's the luxury that Kent Hughes and Jeff Gordon have.
Third and goals four.
The net Slavkovsky is turning into a superstar.
Their net is interesting.
It haven't really sorted out.
It's Fowler or whatever that guy's name.
It's Fowler.
It's Dobish.
It's Montem, Bowdox.
And all three have kind of shown at times.
This is the next stud.
Karen Price.
Next good.
That's like, oh, he's a young guy.
The Nodler knows nets more than you two idiots.
And the noodler said Fowler's good.
So I don't go off.
It's good, but it's his first year.
I think No, noodle.
So you are telling the noodles.
No, it's a noodle.
I'm, well, I interpret noodles.
Clif and send it to noodles.
So he's prepared for tomorrow.
Is Fowler ready to carry the mail for a cup contender?
Was Patrick Waugh ready to carry the mail?
Yes.
I don't believe he's Patrick Waugh.
You don't know.
that till he plays. Was Mika Kiprasoff when you picked him up?
Ready to carry the mail? What a third stringer.
Yes.
Turned out he was. These are all examples of things that went
better than expected in net. Things that make you go.
Yeah. Definitely.
Things. What a banger.
Yeah, Bad Bunny. That's that bad bunny. Jack, you know the song?
Things are make you go.
Bad Bunny did that one. Apparently.
I feel like Bad Bunny would have been dead when that song was.
He's older than you think that bad.
Really? Yeah.
I guess I'll have to do some Googling after.
All right, let's go West.
Have you been told?
So we like the East.
There's strong teams.
There's depth, but we've got maybe a couple teams we think can maybe win it all.
Here's the West.
You just got to get in, D.
Just get in, chipping a chair.
Colorado in the Central.
Studs.
83.
That's a lot of points.
That's more than everyone else.
Yeah.
And they've not been great as of late, six, seven, and two in their last 50.
They will be a fascinating watch coming out of the break because they had a lot of Olympians.
And I could see Nate Dog being in like revenge mode take over the world or just like
bleep it.
Give me some time.
Take it some days off.
I don't know which one is going to be.
Take some days.
Take some days.
You got Taves on the team as well, Lekinen on that team as well.
John.
A car on that team as well.
There's a lot of players there.
I like, I like the whole central Swedes.
And with Colorado, you saw it with you three six five.
They're the betting.
I mean, they they.
them as the as the team well they're nine losses um the nate thing is interesting how does he respond
rebound it's not going to pout for the next three months will he be more energized i don't know how
that's going to play out necessarily i showed it to you yesterday and i it's one of those things i'm
dumb human it's like i can't be right what's the how is this they're they have the last
ranked power play in the national hockey league i don't know how that
can be, but they said at 15.1% in their last eight games, they've gone 0 for 17.
What the AI algorithm are you using? There's no way they're last.
They're lost.
So is it, is Nate a puck hog? Is he not distributing? Is he not, is he missing the net?
Is he getting goalposts?
You've been trying to be.
Have Dave Cameron running the power play. What's a problem there? I don't know.
There's one guy who's got to be uncomfortable in the coach's office.
Yeah, we're saying this. Everyone in color. I was like, what a year. One guy
He's like,
guys staring down.
Hey,
what the fuck are you doing?
So if I gave you the chess pieces of McKinnon,
McCar.
That's enough.
Natchez.
It doesn't matter what else he got.
Lekidon.
Landeskog.
Mm-hmm.
Hmm.
Is Landeskog playing?
Yes,
he played for Sweden.
Oh, he did.
Yeah, he got hurt for a while.
Well, he did.
He was hurt.
And they actually, their record dipped.
Their play dipped a little bit.
I think he's an important buffer for Nate.
He can tell Nate to settle the F down.
See I'm not swearing.
Nope.
Oh, you'll curse before the end of the show, guarantee.
Oh, I just call it.
He's a captain.
You know, it's like when you're those high pressure games,
have a guy like that on the bench.
Remember when I played with Sid Boys?
Yeah.
So I was saying.
Have a guy who's been there.
The whole central, I could see any one of those teams.
Yeah, Minnesota, Dallas.
Again, it's great.
It's the worst.
It's the best.
It's the first, likely to be a first round matchup, like you said.
Is that an area?
Somebody's going home, sour.
If Jim Nell wasn't an idiot.
So you're saying Jim Nils and an idiot.
Interesting, start.
So if he wasn't, if he wasn't, he'd go into his room and go.
Oh!
Slow down a little.
Go down a little.
Let's drop down.
Let's drop on this wild car.
Let's get this guy.
Let's get one of these other teams into the central.
Interesting.
Get the Utah's in there.
Let's get into that wild card spot.
We've got to do a lot of losing here, Jim.
We're going to.
Jimmy.
Jimmy.
You feel like a few of good guys got beat up over there.
Would you rather we just catch Colorado or?
Nope.
And to Red's point, I mean, they are considerably better than Vegas, who is leading
the Pacific with some cushion.
Four points in a game in hand.
Plus in the playoffs, where you want to go?
Vegas.
Minnesota.
I don't know.
Is that a work trip or is it a party trip?
Vegas.
I don't know if Minnesota at all.
Ice will arrest me and they'll get something.
I think it'll go like no put me in the leering center I'm not going to
Minnesota so what if you were Bill Guerin would you be having the same message
Bell's drunk on success so he's going for it's good might as touch right now
you know nice got it got it I told you if any Trow check could be on this team
yeah Bill's a crazy drunk American we can't I can't pull for him Jim's
mills work for team Canada do you ever you want to say about any other central
division GMs because he said Nill's an idiot and Garen's a drunk what else have you
got for us.
Anything on Chris McFarland?
I'm a big hockey Canada honk.
I was happy to see Jim over there with all the rest of the suits that are so important
to have.
I'm being cheeky.
Okay.
Is that right?
Yeah.
Like a real jerk.
And for Minnesota, so, oh, this Billy Garron, is you going to step with the gas here?
Is you going to try and add?
Already added Quinn Hughes.
They're not done.
So there's that.
They're now dangling this Yesper Walsstat, Stud young goalie.
Yeah.
And what do you need?
Upgrade anywhere.
They're deep, they're physical, big.
Love their blue line.
Hughes and Faber.
Spurgeon, Brodine, Middleton, Bogosian on the back end.
That's been everything.
And Faber is just fine playing.
What do you, 25?
What do you need from you tonight?
I'll play whatever you need.
Caprizov can score.
Boldy is a stud.
It does feel like I could be patient if I'm Bill Garan,
but why?
How patient are you going to be?
How many years you got left to Quinn?
Yeah, I just, I don't.
I think Quinn Hughes is loving it.
I think he is too.
I think you might be getting Jack more than New Jersey is getting Quinn.
Yeah.
Like one place looks real good right now and the other feels like, uh, uh,
Caprizo signed long term.
Great goaltending tandem, although it's cooled off a bit in the last quarter.
I don't know if I'd be rushing to trade one of those goalies yet.
They also have that, uh, HLAV that's played for the Slovaks that raised a lot of eyebrows,
but he's having a shitty year of the A on a bad HL teams.
I don't know how much they believe that.
Could you do the one of the one?
eyebrow race.
The Wayne?
Are we calling that the Gretzky now?
Is that what he do?
That's the rock.
Smell what you're cooking.
Dallas.
Stars.
Need a right shot deep.
They'll go get one.
That's what they chant.
It is, yeah.
It's their team.
Let's talk to me use a center.
Not winning would start to get tiring.
Well, that Jim Nell.
We're really good.
That's why Pete DeBore's gone.
We're really good.
We get to the playoffs.
we get to we get to the conference finals yeah and we can't get over that hump that's the pete d'or
hump uh we'll see what the uh glen gullockson hump is golly will they crumple or crumble
or will they overcome isn't it sad like i don't know if it's sad it's reality they're one hell
of a team they've had tastes of success i guess yeah off runs and there's no
F in way, they're a sure shot to get through any of this.
And they've done everything right.
They're the new sharks.
They're out in round one for sure.
Right?
Like, it's like, oh.
Do you remember the Marlowe and Thornton sharks?
Yeah.
Yes.
Deep runs, never got over them.
That's one hell of a team.
Good.
We're in a G.D.
Fing.
Audinger has a save percentage of 897.
That's not going to cut it, dude.
You should be better than league average, not slightly below.
That's what I'd say to you, Jake.
I feel like we're in one of those cities because we saw him.
I was like, you guys, unbelievable.
It's good.
This guy's so good.
This guy's great.
970.
It's like,
Pete DeBurr didn't think so.
No,
he did not.
He sure didn't.
He did not.
He's on a beach right now.
Hope he's good.
Yeah.
So that's interesting.
We were laughing about Jim Nill a little bit.
Not laughing,
but it's,
they've got to say again money likely to deal with.
He's going to go,
that's what,
9.85 million in cap relief for,
for Tyler Segan,
who won't,
like you got going to play.
Is there?
sorry for interruption.
Yeah, I just, I feel as good as Dallas has been.
If it's Minnesota, Dallas, round one, I feel like that's going six or seven.
And I'm still on the-
Then the winner gets Colorado.
Okay.
And so we both expect both those teams to make moves, right?
Yeah, and Colorado.
But say, okay, so say they both make, take Colorado.
So they both make moves.
Are you that much better off with your odds then?
Do you know what I'm saying is why
Back to the Carolina
Conversation, it's like, is one person
going to change Dallas's
outcome? If Blake Coleman
shows up in Dallas? Right shot D
is what they need desperately. So that's the piece
that I think changes things for them.
Okay, but like seriously, like it still might lose
Minnesota. Might lose to the first round.
But if you've got this cap space,
that you're going to use this again.
It's asset management too. It is. It is.
It's not just cab space. It's great if you could go sign
free agent as their right shot defenseman but that's not what you're going to have to do you're
going to trade for this person that's going to deplete the coverage a little bit more a little bit more
is it worth it is well i don't know that's why jib gets paid all and they just gave up two firsts
and stan colvin to get rent in so there's you know a little diminished in the prospect pool and first
rounders but i mean what are you trying to do be this team that's one of the top four in the west all the
time or you're trying to win a cup because i don't know that you're looking at
at this roster, but oh, in three years, they'll be better.
No, they'll be older and more expensive.
The other thing is to what's going to be available
for you. Is there anything available
that's going to make you decidedly better?
You could argue that Rasmus was one of those guys.
Yep. They need
on the back end, it's Heskin and Harley
who were a little more on the fence
about. Lindell,
and then it's a bit of a drop. So those three
guys you all named? Left shots.
They could use some help on that.
And so it's Lundkvist
and Lubbushkin and Petrovich.
on the right like these are fringy NHLers
weger
week dog
what if they did a big deal
Craig
really weger and Coleman
like I just wonder how close
they have been to Rasmus Anderson
at any one time
because it feels like now with
Raspus is in Vegas
it didn't sound like they're ready to pay the price
to be fair well they're getting off your wallet
and getting the thing that you desperately need
or are you just
are you that confident in what you
you've got. Maybe he is. Or did you like another guy more than Rasmussen?
Or do you like White Cloud? There you go.
So anyway, that's the central.
White Cloud, that'd be great.
Pretty easy to, you can kind of see any one of those teams, Colorado, obviously.
But okay, those teams could do some damage.
In the Pacific, Ike, there's something about Vegas.
They've still got very good names.
Eichl, Marneux, Marner, Hurdle, Dorothea, has got 20 some goals, 26 goals.
Not intimidated, by it.
They have the same number of wins of Seattle, Dean.
It just doesn't.
A lot of loser points in there.
It just doesn't feel like they have 20 regulation wins.
It's one more than Calgary.
Too.
And so is this a team like the Panthers of the last three years
where it's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, just get us into the tournament and we will flip the switch.
Or is it a team that's flawed?
And I asked the same question, what the Oilers?
Because we've watched the Oilers in each of the last two seasons before this one have
stretches where they look miserable and then they just kick it into gear.
they're a wagon. Maybe it took you three games in the first round to get there, but they got there.
I feel the same way about these teams. They're not the same teams, but both I can't look at them now and say,
that's what they're going to look like in a series. I don't believe it. So Vegas can prove me wrong.
I'm not intimidated by their lineup. I would pick them in either of the, whether it's Utah or
Anaheim, if they win this division and play a wild-times,
you're probably going to take them.
Depending on who it is.
One seed, yeah.
But then, to me, it's all kind of bets are off.
Christ's sakes, Utah might catch them and pass them.
And look at Edmonton's point total, fellas.
How far out of the playoffs are you in the east?
Now, they're not.
They're in the weakest division in hockey.
They're two seed, if you look at points.
By points percentage, they're third in their division.
They're eighth in the west by points percentage.
But they haven't hit straight either.
I feel, I'm going to say it again,
I feel the same way about Edmonton as Vegas.
There's more there, right?
Like, you can't be this mediocre, guys, can you?
For Edmonton?
And Vegas.
I think they're in, well, we talked about Vegas,
but I do think there's trouble at Edmonton.
And I think part of the trouble comes from being exhausted,
like other teams that have had players playing in a lot of hockey.
Four out of first, four out of the last, uh, out of the wild card.
If they're in any other conference or division, they're in trouble,
they're in big trouble.
Yeah.
Like very good players.
I don't know about their,
I don't think their goaltending's
improved.
Their goaltending and D is
lateral move in that.
Like lateral move.
Jari 3.65 and an 870 as an oiler.
That sounds like Skinner, doesn't it?
It's 11 games.
Jack, what's the cutoff with the guy for,
yeah, there we go.
Games at hand for L.A.
Like freaking Nashville's.
So you guys didn't agree with me,
but I think the chip,
the chips in mode for the Kings
because that's what Kenny Holland does.
And that's what the age of their roster would dictate.
You don't have much doubty left.
It's the last year of Kopitar.
Darcy Kemper is not a spring chicken.
And you've moved a lot of your young players the last three in four years.
When you think about the three assets, they said to win a pig in the Pierluke de Bois deal.
And when you think about the move they just made to get Panarin, where Liam Grinchry, their best prospect goes to New York.
This is a team that has to win in the next now where they're never going to win anything.
And I get that they haven't won the first round series, however many years in a row.
but you just added a superstar.
You didn't add a guy.
You added a point per game offensive wizard in Panarin.
You've got them extended it in a nice number.
You need one more centered.
Dono wanted out.
You got them out, but you've got to fill that hole.
If you can go by field, Copatar,
and one other guy in the top three there,
I love your depth.
I like your goaltending.
The decor is good enough.
And hopefully you add to the offense of Panarin
because they've struggled to score.
Yeah, it's...
You can make the argument.
I don't say they're going to be good.
I'm saying they're going to add.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see another path for them.
They're not tearing this down.
They just signed Panarin.
Yeah, I guess that's right.
Because I do, like, Kenny Holland is going to probably do that.
Yeah, it's what he's, I don't think it's necessarily the right move.
I think it's all well and good that Dauty and Kopitar at the end of the line.
But I don't know that adding a top 4D or another score.
Even after adding Panarin?
He hasn't even played a game with him yet.
Honestly, like, I see the Panarin thing.
Panarin was, he controlled everything.
There were two spots or three spots he was going to go to.
You were one of them.
You got him for a huge discount.
Great.
It was like, I'll do that deal whenever.
Whether I'm close or in my arc of winning or not.
It's in Los Angeles.
I don't think it's an indicator that they're trying to go all in.
I think it's a good move on that.
And the extension was, what, 9 million or whatever it was?
11, but it's very reasonable.
Less than he was making.
It's less than what he was making.
It's two years.
So what's the other path for them if you're the GM?
Like put the hat on.
Because look at that roster.
They're not young.
Yeah, but you don't have to go in or out.
You don't have to like.
No, but just build me the path.
I'm just,
play it out.
I probably could have play it out.
If it's giving away more firsts and high picks or young players,
I'm not,
I'm not interested.
To me,
it's more about by field.
Yeah.
Than it is about Panera.
Where am I going?
Because Copatar's out.
Doughty soon after.
I have no idea what they're,
done in two years.
It's covered as like either.
It was a good one.
So do you want to deplete it more or?
And again, I'm not arguing with you.
I agree with I think Ken will do it.
I just would be going from where I said,
I would have a long, hard look.
And again, we just said it.
Great to get Panarin.
I don't think it has to indicate this is the only year we can win.
They've got a couple young goalie prospects,
but people don't seem to pay for goalie prospects.
They want to see them work.
Yeah, we want you to be an all-star and then I'll get you.
Once I know you can be a goalie in the NHL,
you see too many goalie prospects fail for guys to be like,
oh, this is our big chip.
Take our goalie prospect.
No, I don't think it's going to work.
They have graduated Brandt Clark from prospect,
a really good player.
They've started to use him a lot more on Power Play 1.
He's an excellent offensive defenseman.
They don't score enough.
They've addressed that with Panarin, but they lose Fiala.
You need a center.
If they're going to say the Pacific's wide open,
why not us, they go get Rob Thomas and
a first, a second, and a prospect
because he's under contract for a while.
He gets him a little younger and you find your
replacement for Copa Tars down at the end of the year.
I don't disagree with your
train of thought. I just don't know
that that puts them in the...
It might make you the best team in the Pacific
and that might not mean you're good. That's the other thing
too. You might go after a
center almost
more because of Panera or Copa tar
leaving and where you're going to be next year and the year after
than it is. It's a natural need to begin with.
It's now and future.
They need centers.
Because Byfield's been good, but he has not been the superstar they thought when they picked two.
You thought you had.
Can't get the puck out.
He's still young.
He is, but he's not, you know, like Macklin two years in, byfield five years in.
I think you're comparing someone that's very special to.
I agree with that.
And I think they liked him at two and he's still a good player, but he's not a superstar.
Would you want him on your two?
Yes.
Hell yeah, especially the flames.
They have no centers.
We'd be very high on him if he was here.
And outside, I don't think, I don't think Nashville.
That said, I don't know what the ducks are.
The ducks are run red hot and then they go ice cold.
Yeah, ducks are, but a young team.
And when Dostal, is that?
Like the goalie?
Yeah.
Plays well, they win.
They have an interesting mix of youth and vets because when we look at some of these other teams like Montreal,
you're like, oh, they're so young.
They don't have any playoff experience.
But you go look at that team like, Alex Coulorn, one with Tampa, if I'm correct.
You've got the guys from the Rangers in Truba and Crider that played a lot of playoffs.
games. You've got Radco Gudis, who's got a ton of miles and some experience.
And look like a superstar. Oh, yeah. And so it's like you have this veteran core that
has been, like, I'm not necessarily as convinced that, oh, that young team needs to show me they
can win in the playoffs because of all those guys. And then you sprinkle in your cutter goches
and your Mason McTavish's back at Seneca. I like where they're going. Like it's, I think they're
a sneaky dark horse only if they don't have to face Colorado. Like if they get one of those
specific teams, it's just looking a little lazy. Yeah. I guess my point. My point.
is can Nashville catch the ducks?
I don't think. Maybe. I don't know.
It's not really going to change.
I would have more faith, I think, in the ducks in a round one upset spot than Nashville.
Yeah.
Or maybe even the Kings.
Ducks are fascinating.
Or sorry, Nashville is fascinating because if they fall out of this, you're trading Ryan O'Reilly, right?
But if you're within a point or two, you could see them doing the, what Connie did with
Rasmus last year, which is, well, it's not expiring.
I can keep in front of the year.
Likes it here.
And that's what Craig Conroy is watching.
If there's Ryan O'Reilly on the market or not on the market,
that totally affects what you get offers for Codry.
Everyone's talking about Trocheck to Minnesota
because Garin picked him for the team
and then he was perfect on the penalty kill.
It's like, you are my kind of guy.
Yeah, that's a fit.
They need a center.
And we'll move on because it's just discussion.
But then you got San Jose.
They have what they think is their young goalie.
They have one of the best players in the world.
they have some other great young complimentary pieces.
They've got some veteran guys there.
If they can sneak into a wild card,
it's like,
you were two years from now, San Jose and Anaheim
are going to be kicking the shit out of each other.
Yeah, it's going to be unreal.
I would hate it if San Jose got into a wild card
and I had to play them in round one.
It's like, they're so excited to be here.
This kid is, this kid is so frigging dangerous.
I don't know what the goal he is.
He was the first rounder's eating.
like it's it's an upset but I'm with you it feels like they're not I don't like
it's not their time yeah life's good for San Jose are they that different than the ducks
yeah they don't have as many vets as the ducks do like the the the sharks have to folly but who are
their other leaders that are vets I don't need or love I don't know fills out their roster to be
honest yeah like they're just they're quite a bit younger for me in terms of just like I look at
that ducks I'm like there's a lot of really grizzled vets that have played a lot of
playoff hockey here. Yeah, you can have, I mean, they would maybe arguably have too many of those
guys. I like Goudis and Trubel more in a series than I do in the regular season. I'll say that.
And then the Jets.
Helly, what's he going to look like? You're not get some insane goalie heater where he wins his next nine starts?
Or is it going to be 100 or shit. 52 points. I mean, that's the same as the flame. Same
the flames are going to come back. I don't care what squad you have. There's too many points to be
made up.
Yeah, like you said, it's going to be, like your goalie's got a pitch in a lot of.
Yeah.
Yeah, you would literally have to go start this.
If you want 10 and 0, it probably gets you in a wild card.
Yeah.
It's more.
It's hard to see.
Yeah.
This hurts.
So can we go back to the just the standings there, Jackie boy, the West?
So there's a couple teams in the east we kind of like.
What do we like here?
Central.
Just the Central?
Love those central teams.
They're going to beat the tard of each other.
And one of those top two in the Pacific could get their shit together, but they're not
inspired.
right now. I'm stunned that Seattle's even in there because again, when they came through here in
December, much like the Sabres, it was like, ooh. And it's funny, you go to Bet365, there's no Seattle
anywhere. You look at other people, projections or whatever, no one is talking about Seattle. It's more
Utah than Seattle. And I was just going to say, if there's a sneaky one, I think it's actually
Utah, who no one pays attention to. I think the mammoth were on that Bet365 list right at the bottom
there. They were in last one's in. All we hear from insiders is that they want to do
it now. They'll be aggressive. They're trying to add at the deadline.
So don't be surprised if they're big game hunting.
It's, think about that franchise, how long they've been collecting futures in Arizona.
And now the new owner is how horny to win, like very.
We want playoff hockey in this building.

I don't know.
We should do that every day.
Do they do it on the cup still or just on the app?
It's on the cup.
Is it on the cup?
I had one this morning.
Really?
Do that after the Pender Report?
Did you win, Red?
No.
I don't win anything.
I'm a loser.
Always been a loser.

Ryan Pike had a sit down with the mayor.
What?
That is a bleeping Pike bomb.
Nenshi?
Pike bomb, Pike bomb.
It's a pipe bomb.
Now, it's two things.
Pike is the song.
Ready for a big pipe bomb.
For the mayor, we'll run the whole deal.
Two things.
Pike, stay the F out of politics.
Farkas, what the hell have you had to do with any of this?
He voted against it three times.
He just got voted in and, yeah, like, oh, hey, we're doing it.
You know, I'm excited about the event center, but the devil can be in the details,
and but a handshake's a handshake, and we're excited about how it's going to reinvigorate the entertainment center of the city.
I'm looking forward to the new building team.
It's going to be excellent,
and Pike's done some really good work here with some great insights on
giving Pike.
A little wrench rub down.
It's a weird,
we're dynamic with you and Pike.
What do you mean?
Weird.
I respect him.
He's hard worker.
This guy.
Anytime Pike shows up,
you're very...
Listen, we're like a dressing room, right?
Pikes part of it.
He's got his spot in the stall in the room.
Jack does Pinder.
We sometimes have to move him outside, but it's in and out there.
sometimes you got to call these guys out to keep them honest yeah if i if i pull a pinder
pike pike pike pike pike pike pike pike pike pike pike pike pike pike pike pike pike pike pike
time he's in the chat then he's going to get a fat head and stop working he's going to get a
bigger eagle than he's already got you have to keep him dialed give him a check meeting with mayors
take away his wrench tax breaks piker you're going to be get into the parks one shot they're going to get
into the Paul.
Warner's Whiteboard
politics.
If you're going to talk to the mayor,
Tom's dropped the taxes.
Let's do that.
It's that.
Worry about him bragging about how he's building
a new building downtown.
F all to do with it.
I think that's the tie-in to the flames and to sport,
which is what Pike was.
You can clearly see Pikes work
in the political angle.
He's trying to, you know,
some of the fat cats at the radio station.
City Hall fat cats.
trying to curry favor with the fat cats
goddamn Mercedes Benz
some of those radio hosts that do the news
and then all the sudden they're
Oh, I'm a politician.
Oh, man.
Look at me.
Remember me for Flames Nation?
Can I get your vote?
Vote for the wrench.
Hike for mayor.
It feels like they're at about a 900 clip
for being completely crooked
and getting caught for,
did they buy you a house somewhere?
Oh, dear.
Oh, I don't know anything about that.
He's got a rules, Roy.
He says it'll afford that on a mayor's salary.
Can't trust me.
media people mainstream media I'm in there the words do it awful the worst we gotta be
careful there's a new bill up there for you give me a god damn it yeah that's
god damn it is that kind of a swear no no because it was requested and it wasn't it's my fault
part of the schick goes on my ledger let's go to uh flames trade talk uh frankly speaking with our
pal Frank Sarah valley and john you guys never talk to him anymore he hates I keep texting
He doesn't respond.
That's just,
what the hell's this song?
Is it the Pike song?
I don't know what it is.
Is it the Pike Bond song?
Yeah.
I said Franks.
Getting into politics too.
Oh, yeah.
He's a great politician.
It's coaching,
you know that?
Go ahead, Ryan.
Look at this board.
What are these?
Pike's coaching?
Pike can't skate.
A lot of all former flames here.
Frank can't skate.
I tried in Jasper.
It wasn't easy.
I saw him skating.
He didn't skate outdoors ever before.
Was he skating?
Yeah, skating.
Your interpretation of skating's off.
Well, no.
How would you power rig Dean Skating versus Franks, Jack?
Listen to my tone.
I've never seen Boomskate.
Am I doing a dude?
No, like he could skate.
Or am I?
Well, you see, he can skate.
All right, I get it.
Here are Frank's top 10 trade targets.
Number one, coming off an excellent performance for the Americans, the Olympics.
He must be good at hockey.
That means Chris Drury's got to get him out of here.
We don't like your kind here.
I want to let it.
Get up.
Bob beat it.
Kick rocks.
You're out of here, Trotech.
Or does he go back to Florida?
Oh, yeah, he was a Pantera.
Florida's out, man.
Bill Zito's smart, man.
Trocheque to the wild is what you had noted earlier.
How good of a fit would that be?
Bill Garan clearly likes him.
Clearly likes him.
And if you could go, Joel Erickson,
and Vinny Trochequechek is two, three centers.
That's a nightmare for the team's to play against him.
Go for it, Billy.
The Minnesota needs something nice to happen.
It's been a good.
And you know what?
Yeah.
He's painted as a defense first guy.
36 points in 43 games ain't bad.
Would he be leading our team?
He said,
oh,
no.
And the Rangers are a bag of poo.
They're awful,
a flaming bag of poo.
And that,
oh,
almost do you.
Yeah.
Whoa.
Mom,
Donnie is raising taxes again in the sea.
Jesus Christ.
What do you do it?
It's almost time.
I was going to pull out.
I made a purchase.
It was going to be for the,
the Warner swear jar,
or the curse.
Like when you get on a real rant.
We got it?
He's prepared.
I could just reach for a...
Oh, look at this guy.
What the heck?
He's always got some in his tickle trunk.
As soon as you start to, you know,
to kind of just bring some levity back to the show.
It's just kind of, oh,
hey, you know, fuck.
There's politicians.
I turn that out of.
I heard that in your bag this year.
I don't know you had a dog toy.
I'm like, what the hell's deep?
I set my bag down.
What was that?
I don't know.
The top five.
targets again two flames in there that means two squeezes from dean can i say so one thing
go back the first five zero chance they trade both of them i wouldn't say zero given that fronk
knows more than we do and we go back to start us over a couple things i was honking my horn yeah let's
let's flash the top five again number one is viny trochick number two is blake coleman number three
gnazum cadry four and five dougie hamilton needs a change of scene or he's not content and
Andrew Magipani, not the sign the Oilers
thought he was given they're trying to move him out
with an asset at this point. One
year into a two-year deal worth 7.2 million.
And what I said
was this, Dean, while you were honking
your horn. I said
yesterday, the flames have
two boxes. They have two forwards
in one box, Coleman and
Cadry, and they've got another box
filled with two defensemen, Wigger
and what's the guy's name? White Cloud.
You can pick
one from each, but you can't have
two out of the same buck.
No, I agree with Brett,
but he did say there's a zero percent chance,
and I think it's more than this,
a non-zero.
I'm going to be the asshole that test.
But Coleman and Cadry could both go?
Yeah, I do.
How do I be?
Because I think if you...
How can I prove myself right?
Well, we have to just wait and see.
We won't know.
All right.
I'll put money on that.
March 6.
I'm going to put money on you.
So here, I'll spin the scenario.
Let's say the move naz this week.
So I got to give me odds now?
Just let's finish this story here.
A little story time with Uncle Ragai.
Let's say that the
Cadre deal gets done, there's retention there.
You lose one of your retention slots.
And then it's like, okay, we got four days to the deadline.
That's probably good.
Maybe we're listening on White Cloud.
And Blake Coleman says, you know what, guys?
I've been thinking a lot.
Can you get me out?
He's not going to do it this year.
If he did it, he'd do it in the office.
He knows that Cadry could be traded.
Oh, of course.
And it's not that Cadre you can trade.
It's maybe there's 10 losses in a row and it's miserable and his families in Texas.
You know what?
If we're keeping this open dialogue, I'm leaning more.
more to now than next year.
So great.
Kiss my.
Oh.
Choke the chicken.
Go Coleman, if you say that.
And you, Conroy, if you listen to him.
Too much power and control by the player.
We like the dialogue yesterday.
We don't like the dialogue today.
Too much dialogue.
It's good.
Yes.
The player dictating how shit goes down.
Craig, if you've got an offer you like right now, I'm ready.
All I'm saying, go ahead and go ahead and zero chance.
But there's no way I'm doing it because the players tell me to do it.
No, you do it when it's good for the flames.
Yeah.
And I think so the same reasons you think we're going on.
I'm with you.
I don't think both get moved.
But I can see a scenario where you bet's.
No, I don't want to bet.
Stop offering new bets.
So take me that Swiss over in Bridgeland that you took.
before. Oh, that's a good one.
So good. We should take Jack there, but Jack doesn't step
out of his. Go ahead, Ryan, back to you.
Jack, are you ready to be back in public again yet or no?
Let's go to the trade target six through
10. I think my arm's broken.
No, you're fine.
Let's go.
But it feels.
Evander Kane's going to get moved, boys.
Who wants him?
Well, I think a team with a strong locker room
that she dealt with shitheads before
and that needs a big body.
He still is fast.
and big and can score, but he is a lot of baggage, fellas.
How many years left on his deal?
It's the last year, I believe it's a one-year deal.
Oh, really.
You'd take a chance on him because it wouldn't cost you F all, would it?
No, it'd be like a third or something.
Not interested at all.
You have to be in a special kind of room with a special kind of need to say yes to that.
They've been saying that for years.
I was just, have you watched NHLGMs operate?
It keeps getting jobs.
Thank you.
Yeah.
Eric Holla, he had the nasty, short-handed goal
against the Canadians in the semi-final
to make a 2-0-0 Finland.
Good player.
He's well-traveled.
I wish they had their positions
because I don't know all of these guys.
Yeah, he'd be a checking winner, I'd call him.
Justin Falk, a defenseman in St. Louis.
Everyone's available.
Everyone's available.
Prices are way too high on all their good players,
but they're willing to...
You don't know what the price is.
You've never talked to Zill arms.
Falk looks like he tried to sneak one out
and shit his pants with that.
That is a that is a I sharded.
That's a short face.
Yeah.
Chartface Falk 30 points in 57 games.
He still got that offensive touch for a blue liner.
Connor,
is that the little guy?
Yeah, Garland, yeah.
I hate that.
Scrapper.
I like them because I hate them.
You know what I mean?
Yes.
I see what you're saying there.
And yes,
Barry Cuckanyemi probably makes a little too much money and isn't that sexy,
but is a center.
And he rounds out the top 10.
He has nine points, right?
How the F is that guy on top 10?
well because he's probably a checking center
it's name value as well right it's
he and manjapani feel like
I want to change the sceneer in the team's like great but you make too much money
we're not going to be able to move you with any ease
well the cultural capital idiots didn't have to sign and for manchpanic
what an offseason hey that extension on frederick go get him
mang signing the lateral jari trade
on fire stand
on a heater
keep it up
they're looking for another winger
that can score
oh they need more scoring
and offense
gotcha
done this every year
didn't you just give up
a first for henrique
like two years
they already made a big deal
did they
they already made a big deal
no it was the big deal
in that
Skinner East
get to swim
I was going to say
it's a dick
we're going to burn it
but it's good
I don't know how much run we're going to get if you use it 18 times a show, but it's funny.
Yeah.
Okay.
So there's your trade targets, flames two and three.
What are the idiots up north going to do?
They're kind of going to overpay for assets.
That's what they've been doing for five years.
I feel like chicken wings, actually.
Let's go.
Oh, that's a great call today.
That does sound like great ball.
That's how you get the fast right there, boys.
Good work.
I know.
Great waitress done it.
Okay.
Settle down.
Here's the schedule, fellas.
loves good service really good service great service schedule jack please the love of god
flames are going to play again on the road in california road again shucks so they're flying
again today or tomorrow god i believe because of the olympic stuff they'll have to fly
no they'll be flat today they will fly today tomorrow today's sorry me saturday in l-a and then that
huge three-day gap rep was pointing out
Saturday to Sunday. What are they
going to do all that time? What are they going to do?
They're going to Disneyland. They just had two
weeks off. You give them three days here,
the 28th of the first? What the hell,
Gary? What are you doing?
Check out. I thought this
compressed schedule is going to be a budget.
Three days off. Now, here's the thing.
That's three and four to start, right? Yeah.
So keep that in your
in front of your head here, three and four.
I can't remember two things at once.
Well, just remember that. Forget everything else. Forget about the
waitress.
Go to the calendar.
March.
Look how effing busy this month is, fellas.
It's three and four to get you to March first.
Boom.
Every other day with a back to back.
8, 19, 11, 12, 30, 14, 15, 16.
16 games in 30 days.
Right.
And that means 18 games in 32 days.
33 days.
I can't wait to be able to do after burner, barn burner.
After burner, barn.
I'll sign you up for some afterburner.
That sounds great.
Oh, that'll be awesome.
If you think we were in the dog days before the Olympic break, my friends.
Look at that shit show of a road trip.
Five gamer, followed by a six-game homestand.
Washington.
We sent out a letter, Rangers, Devils, Islanders, Detroit.
Now they'll meet the Bondani when they're, because I'm sure they'll stay.
That's what they're worried about.
That's right.
The homestand, Florida, Tampa, L.A., Anahe, Vancouver, Santa, Santa,
These days are wrong
Is that right?
Look at them
Well, what's wrong with them?
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, okay, they're not.
Where's the sixth?
Oh, yeah, that's the trade deadline.
That's what I was looking for.
I think he just had an an aneurys.
I was looking for the sixth after the seven.
What?
So the trade deadline there at home.
Coming before.
I was acting, what I was thinking, what I was thinking,
was happening was that these poor bastards are going to be on the road for that yeah
they're getting traded because they've been hold up in philly multiple years of the devil's like
silly a lot there's a lot of philly at the deadline not this year they're at home philis
get a suvete do a bar and a beef and then you slice a real thing oh thank you rat out of fry
now ret's been requesting a daily william stromgren update we're happy to oblige with some bill
bill bill bill bill yeah i'm just a bill i'm only a bill player the week
of the American.
Oh, great.
Just back at it.
This guy can't do.
Oh, boy, Rance.
Kendrits bestest, buddy.
See, Jack, you got competition now.
That's right.
Oh, especially after this weekend.
That's good for Phil Strangren,
who you were so excited about,
and then after eight minutes of play,
threw him on the shit pile, right?
Remember that?
Yeah, I do.
Yes, you did.
Yes, you did.
That was your interpretation.
I remember you feeling that way about my comments,
and I was thinking to myself,
how in the world?
Could I have just said, been interpreted that one?
Isn't there some quote about perception being reality?
You let us know what it is.
That'll be your reality.
Pike will no.
Congrats to Wild Bill.
This is what you want to see.
I mean, you'd rather have him being a stud in the NHL,
but if you're going to be in the A, go dominate.
And he's had spells of that this year.
Good work, Billy.
Well, it's not good enough, Bill, because you're in the A.
So you suck.
Be dry equipment's back.
Trade some bodies, open up some spots on the way.
I think you should get him up and I think you should tell Huska.
Don't be afraid to play me, coach.
Sit here on the bench in Montreal trying to do nothing.
How am I going to show myself?
I'm a big strong power forward up and down the wall.
Are you?
Crashing, banging.
Yeah.
What else you about?
I can't tell you.
Got a lot to offer, coach.
Great room.
Great in the room.
Responsible.
Never show up late.
Rett's been great in the McLeodlaw studio style.
I'll say that.
Yep.
First star.
It's already been handed up.
I might have to care. Jack, how about some Captain Ron?
Stay with the American League team.
I don't know if you're, you'll, if you'd remember this or not read.
Dino, you probably would have been in town.
Jack was definitely dead when this went down.
Check out the jerseys.
They're going to unload here at home in the next day in the coming days.
He's not today.
25th anniversary throwback.
March 15th and 13th, the Friday and the Sunday.
I love those jerseys.
Jimmy Pee was coaching.
Playfair.
I believe that's a Marty.
Murray siding there.
Marty.
Marty.
Steve Montador in there.
DuPont was on that team.
Commie was there midseason?
Oh, I'm not going to call me yet.
No.
Two soon.
Jersey.
With this jersey.
I don't know what they call the.
It's a dragon.
What is that?
Yeah.
Sea dragon.
Okay.
Hard to wrangle up.
What was the name of the team?
I wish they'd get rid of that.
I wish they'd get rid of that bottom red part.
A little too big for you?
Just all blind.
black to the body. Yeah, just the body.
I like the blasty setup. I love the colors.
Great logo.
Go get it. Go get it. Good work.
I mean, you could wear the same jersey all the time and be boring.
You can spice it up. Good work, Wranglers.
Send us a jersey.
Strewsh was on that team.
David Struish.
Played 45 games.
I did not remember.
And if you want to send us some jerseys there, Wrangler,
we'd wear those on the air.
Love to support. The internet is the air.
My kids go on the game tonight. Really excited to meet.
Galette. Come up.
Put it about.
Galant's tough. God.
Who else, Dean?
On that team?
Todd Hulishko.
Todd Simpson.
Oh, Todd Simpson.
Future NHLChel captain.
Yeah.
And a great realtor if you need to.
Roll us in a net.
If you need to buy a place in the Colonna Vernon area.
Really?
It's all simmer.
What kind of percentage you get on any referrals?
I'm just a bill.
I'm just a bill.
Just a bill.
Yeah.
Anyone else on that team you want to mention?
Not really.
Oh, this is a championship team?
Quategas.
A.H. Lattislav, Con, Jared,
Scaldi, David Ling, Bessna.
Linger. Did it Kosky.
Esper Mattson.
Nicholas Sunblad.
Oh, Mattson and Sunblad.
Joel Schultzschard.
Todd Simpson was on that team.
Jamie Allison.
Yes.
Now, again, spent time.
Are you sure this is the right year?
Well, if it's 25 years as 01,
you're looking at the 01 team?
I don't know.
Can you just click on Cox?
Tell us what you're looking at.
Go to the top. It's okay. We made a mistake.
That's fine.
95.96.
So good.
There we're talking about.
There we go.
2000.
There it is.
None of the guys we saw on screen and all these weird.
Well, Marty Murray is one.
He's still there.
The captain of the flames.
Probably.
Rico Fada.
Oh, dear.
Sergei Varlamov.
Yeah.
Daniel Kachuk.
Yeah, some
some first round guys here.
Fifth and sixth overall there with old RICO and Daniel.
Mickey DuPont, Steve Bezanne, Blair Betts.
That's it.
Yeah.
That's like,
it's kind of like all in LaGreton.
Greton.
Groton?
Derek Wurter.
Derek Walser, David Roche.
David Roche had 32.
32 goals and 179 pims.
Have some respect.
You get his name of your mouth.
He's a big man.
Martin Brochu, 55 game.
Danny Sabre.
Lavante, Zuper.
Zuber.
Zuber.
One game.
Zucalore.
Zucalore.
Ryan back to you.
Thank you, Rhett.
Appreciate that.
Let's keep moving.
He's got some other flame stuff in the flame sphere to talk.
Do you have flame stuff or does Pike do a bunch of stuff and you've live off?
You know what, Rhett?
Why don't you shut you?
You shut your yap and wish Mike Vernon a happy birthday.
Hey.
Bernie!
Hey, little bastard.
A lot of you,
Bernie.
Pride and joy of Calgary.
If only he'd loosen up a little.
We'd get a little drink today.
Here's a guy I'd vote for mayor.
There you are,
Bernie the mayor.
Mike the mayor.
Mike for mayor.
527 games with the hometown Calgary Flames.
262 wins.
13 shuties.
And yes,
the 1989 Stanley Cup team,
he was critical.
getting through Vancouver in round one.
Flames alumni.
Awesome.
Those are the least
fluttering?
How would I say it?
Those are just a blurb on Vernon stats.
You know what I mean?
You could say,
oh, but where else did he go?
Oh, Detroit.
And it was awesome.
On the cons might, I believe, that year.
Yeah.
Right.
Oh.
But they're highlighting is Flames highlights.
And the cup is pretty damn impressive.
I'm just saying for people, you see the hall.
He had a hell of a career.
And you know, it wasn't always easier.
Hometown, high scoring team, it didn't defend a ton.
Like, there was.
Well, look at the pads he had to wear.
It's dumb to stuff.
He's filled with horse hair.
What are we doing there?
Look at that.
Jack, that's before you.
That's what he made.
Like, how don't he make any saves?
Look at how much net you could look at Jack.
Yeah, I don't know.
Like, look at how they had to move, like, to stop a puck.
You seen pads like that before, Jay?
like in a museum or something?
I don't know if I have.
Go to Cross Iron Mills.
I'm going to go to cross iron mills.
I'm heading there today.
That'll be great.
All the boy, Verney.
God love you.
God love you, Bernie.
All right.
Let's check in with an old friend.
A wine store.
I know exactly where he'll be out.
Yeah, I'll be hiding out today.
Let's get to another update on an old friend.
Rasmus Anderson on his playing time with Sweden,
where he was healthy scratched twice.
From a personal standpoint, I'll leave it at no comment.
There's a few things happening.
Erasmus has not been overwhelming since the trade in Vegas,
nor with team Sweden.
And the Swedish coach and the players were at odds to say.
How the F play?
Yeah, that's weird.
It's weird one.
Like, you're the Swedish ice hockey federation.
The team is called.
I'd do a, uh,
fired, fired, fired, fired, fired.
They might do that.
How did we end up with some guy arguing with the players?
That's like when we went over to the world,
stars tour the law code and Marty McSorley's benching guy what this is a charity event
what do we do this is an exhibition you're skating lines tomorrow boys now i don't know if
anderson is better than any of the other d that were in sweden so maybe he deserved to be
it was a deep decor and there were major points of friction between players and team there was a
Philip Forsberg one minute and changed night.
There was a Vic Hedman.
Who was the idiot?
I don't know his name, but there was definitely seemingly a gap between the way the
NHL coaches treated their players and the European.
A hell of a job.
When the team is in the tournament, can we get a different coach?
Yeah.
Is there any, could we get a different coach, please?
Is there any other coaches hanging around?
This guy is, uh, anyone coach?
This guy's an idiot.
Don't worry about it.
Uh, let's keep moving, shall we?
Schedule tomorrow.
We finally get hockey tomorrow, boys.
Get excited.
They just had hockey on Sunday.
Well, NHL hockey.
Okay.
So there's some games.
We're going to do this more tomorrow.
Show us some more games.
Some more games.
I don't want to get too much into them.
We're going to plant in the seat here for something more games.
Next.
And then you'll back in action tomorrow.
Yeah.
There was seven games tomorrow.
There you go.
Now that the teams are playing, 14 teams, seven games is not the industry part.
The industry part is which of these Americans will be,
A, dressed, B, sober, or C, watching from the rafters.
I don't know how this is going to go for the Americans.
Apparently they're going to be at the State of the Union addressed today.
If you are wagering on hockey, be very careful tomorrow.
I don't know if we have any clue who's playing and who's not.
And I don't know if we're safe to assume they're all out or that they're all going to play hungover
or if everyone's going to be totally fine, nothing to see here.
We're not going to be drunk at the state of the union.
I don't know what you do before after State of Union.
I've never been.
get pissed in the
not during it
obviously.
They got hammered last night.
It'll tell you that for free.
You're right.
I don't know anything.
So let's go to last night, Jack,
at 11, the nightclub slash strip
prove that they would drink.
That's true.
He skipped one.
One more than.
Let's go.
Thank you.
Oh, and this is,
uh, 2030.
What?
Get this off.
What are we doing?
Sebastian closes in this.
Four years.
It's not even a little bit.
We can wait.
Let's get rid of that, Jack.
Let's go for a drink.
Now, who's the state?
Hussard's going to be there in four years.
If we don't have any up-and-comers.
Look at Schaefer.
He's in there.
What?
I'm shaf.
You got chicken in there finally, Dobson.
Okay.
Better be.
Who's the guy from the flame?
Correct.
Yeah.
Yeah, you get a preck.
You get a Percke.
We don't know which of these guys are.
You got a Jack and Chuck.
I don't know who's going to be good yet.
It's too soon.
Holy Christ.
Did you know that that that guy in Colorado, what's Nelson?
Brock Nelson.
His family history?
Yeah, lots of girls.
Did you have that up yesterday?
No, we brought it up a long time.
Like the last four nations, I was a talking point because he's, he's representing.
Yeah.
He's grandpa.
Like four.
Third generation.
Lymphian bloodline.
Old medals.
Yeah.
That's where they brought that guy with the great.
I didn't get born into nothing.
No.
Now, I don't want to jump to conclusions.
Rep.
Kind of put me on blast yesterday.
Go ahead.
Right.
Just because someone says something on social media.
He's real.
Like, come on.
Some nightclubs just taking advantage of the promo.
It's marketing and tricking people.
So let's go to the footage from 11 last night and see if there were any NHL players there.
Oh, the whole team is gaming.
They really flew back from the Olympics and went right to the craziest strip club in America.
It's quite something.
And I'm ready to be very offended about it and upset.
And then I remembered that Mark Messier lost the Stanley Cup at a state.
strip club in New York. Maybe we're
just overreacting. Maybe this is cool. Maybe this
2026 is how people roll. Maybe this is trolling
Jack and if anything's trolling. We just write it
off as it's not a problem. They're just trolling.
That's how it goes. You see what
Trump posted?
Which the AI of him winning a face off and finding
a Canadian or the AI of what
changing what Brady Kachuk said. The AI of
him playing hockey. Oh my goodness.
Good to see
that the most powerful people with the nuclear
weapons are trolling on the internet.
Let's see them
on the stage. They're love and life and as you do
to close out the night, you go pay the band
a hundred bucks and they play Freebird.
And that is why we showed you
which Americans are supposed to be playing hockey
tomorrow night, friends.
They Florida.
Yeah, I mean, Stogies, drinks,
titty bar party.
America. Yeah.
Great soul. Apple pie.
Free bird.
There's also some could be said about winning with class.
Not how they're going to roll.
It doesn't appear to be.
A little late for that.
It does not appear.
And I would be right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I didn't win a gold medal.
And I was very drunk in a bar with Freebird at 1 a.m.
Yeah.
So I also did ever want a gold and I've been hammered at 11.
Now, it feels like the whole fan, all the families were there too.
Was I get in that picture.
Yeah.
kind of alluded to yesterday like is it only because it's miami that you can just be a nightclub
but also a strip bar because i not a lot of places a lot of that wiggle room there yeah but
well that's what we're going to for lunch after today yeah the wings the wet my she's yeah free bird
my waitress put the bird in there jeez there's your pin to report this tuesday february 24th
too far jack village chonda you know where they are you know why people love them i literally rode in
their courtesy shuttle.
And the lady's sitting next to me, said, you know, there's actually another dealer closer,
but they don't give you the free shuttle and the service here is unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
That's the difference.
The village honda difference.
They're great.
They're wonderful.
Check them out in the Northwest Automol and online at village honda.com.
Also asking about the new and reimagined prelude.
It is back.
Back to you, Dean.
You were mentioning cross iron mills.
Yesterday, I saw some stuff on social media.
Yeah, the French.
The media is very active.
There's a lot of stuff that happens.
A lot of guys signing autographs.
I bet nobody talked to Coleman or Cadry
and asked them about getting traded or anything like that.
You got your bags, bags.
Probably come up.
Fans getting out there.
So that was yesterday. Crossline meals holding a Mahus of.
The full team was their autograph session.
From now today until March 8th.
So not, you know, a ton of time.
But you got a couple weeks here.
Check out the Hockey Heritage
showcase a collection of authentic artifacts from alberta's hockey history including some memorabilia
from the calgary flames and the 1988 winter olympics all the details can be found online cross
iron mills dot com cross iron mills proud partner of the calgary flames did you say there's going to be
some horse hair pads is that your i was wondering i don't know if they'll let you touch them
They'll fall apart now.
If you had Mike Vernon's pads from 89,
that would be a significant, authentic artifact.
I'm going to have there and get some video.
I'll let you know if Mike Verdon's pads are there.
Alberta's hockey history.
Don't steal.
No, no, I'll just take some photos.
Oh, okay.
Remind people.
They can go up there and look at them and also not steal.
No question.
I want to surprise you, and maybe it's not surprising at all.
Nine days to the trade deadline.
Next Friday.
You're not counting that it's a leap year.
And are you counting the sixth?
Because I saw I wasn't on that calendar.
It wasn't after the seventh.
Yeah, I looked after the seventh.
And I have not accounted for the 29th, 30th or 31st of February.
So maybe that's on me.
I don't know how many days it is away, but it's on March 6th.
Ask AI.
That's, yeah.
Yeah, it's on the way.
Be here before you know it.
Why did you bring it up?
It's a feeling.
Well, because you wanted them to push the nine button.
It's next week.
I didn't have a couple times today.
I didn't.
I didn't do it.
I can do it.
Sure.
Why not?
So it's quick.
You're really fishing.
for that. I was not fishing. I don't think people realize it closed the deadline.
I think it's too quick. Damn it. I'm not going to be able to find out who's on a roll or not.
Incredible rate, Harry. GMs are going to have to make some, just, they're going to have to make some gut call.
Remember last year with the rantan and deal? Yeah, he went to.
Well, as he's staying, is he going, how's he going to look? We're going to, we'll know by then.
Can't wait. Just got to get this guy out of here. If you remember what happened. He went there. They were on a roadie. He barely got
back to Raleigh and then he was off to four nations.
So they were in Boston and Montreal and then he came
back and then they're home for them and they were gone again. It's like
Parker probably never even figured out
his bearings in that city
for the trader.
Yeah. And maybe it wouldn't have mattered.
Maybe not. Yeah. I'm not saying that was the difference maker. It's just
you forget how, how busy these guys are.
Yeah. You got guys coming back from Italy that are now
back and it's like, we've got to hit this road trip and don't ship,
the trade deadline. And you think,
do you think two are getting traded?
Because I know you were kind of zinging with them there, but I know one from each box.
He likes that.
I think there's two.
I could see them holding on both Uyghur and White Cloud moving Pahal, but they've got
five righties.
Like I want to see Brestevich up.
If you can't bring yourself to move a Uighur or a white cloud right now, trade Pahal.
It's a late pick, whatever, but let the guy play.
He's better than an eighth defenseman.
That's what he is right now.
Like we talked about it.
If I was a GM, it's like, this guy's not playing a ton for them.
But every time I watch him, he's playing balls out.
Yes.
He will fight.
Block shots.
He's a family kill.
Yeah, I'll take, I'll take some of that down the stretch and into the playoffs for sure.
Longberg's a big ticket.
Two million.
I don't know that he's.
You could eat half, but then you're not even going to someone else.
Yeah.
If you want to really play 3D chess, Connie,
check this out.
Oh, here we go.
Oh, boy.
All right.
You move Longberg.
You don't have to get a lot.
Just get something.
Bring them back.
July 1 loves it here.
Glue guy, good in the room, get an extra pick.
He gets to chase another cup.
Everybody wins.
But you didn't get anything in return.
You got a pick.
What are you getting good for him?
You're going to get another fifth round.
You can take the next Ethan Witten back with.
Let's go.
This is positivity you need there.
It is, yeah.
Thanks, Connie.
You know what?
That's brilliant.
I don't waitin back for lumber.
Let's go.
Trade.
Wait, what?
I like that trade.
Wait a minute.
Wait a way back go.
Oh, God damn it.
Capital Automotive Group, part of us, part of the Barnberger family.
Welcome.
Talked about the, the dolly yesterday from Capital Shev.
Today, I want to tell you about Renfrew Chrysler.
Renfrewcrisler.com 1920, Pumphouse Road, Southwest,
when it comes to the Rams Sport.
Renfrew doesn't just compete.
They lead the 60K sport,
widely known as Canada's best deal on a RAM sport,
and that's just the start.
Renfrew recently named the number one
Stalantus dealership in Canada
for most new vehicle sales.
That is serious volume, red,
with one of the largest inventories in the country,
including a strong lineup of Jeep compass models
and price to move.
There's no shortage of options.
Big selection, big energy,
and a team that knows how to close out a win when it matters.
It's Renfrew Chrysler,
1920 pump house road southwest, Renfrewcrisler.com.
Legendary.
Legendary.
The 60K Ram Sport.
You could do worse.
My kid is driving.
Well, it's not longer mine.
I had a ram.
He's adopted it.
He's just officially.
Have you signed the papers and he's transferred the money over?
Not quite.
He's not so much in a rush for that to happen.
The papers or the money?
either.
Okay.
Yeah.
But happy to drive it.
He was happy to grab the keys off the counter.
He was like, this truck's great for what I do.
Well, yeah, it's a truck.
It's a truck.
And a lot of people would say the same thing.
I'll mention Renfrew Kreisler.
See what he says.
See what he says.
We'll do a couple things here.
We have one super chat that is barely coherent as I kind of looked at it.
So one super chat on the program.
Or whatever.
And of course we got some bet
365. That's bet 365.
Official gaming partner of Barnburner.
It's game props, it's player props, it's totals.
It's the money line. Whatever your bed is. It's never ordinary.
Get that up and get in in the game.
Now there's not a lot of games right now.
And it's a hawk of it.
It's going to be big action when they come back.
Games every other night.
Teams are going to grind in games that matter.
Let's go, bet three, 65.
We're going to take a look at some games for tomorrow.
Lines are up already.
And we're going to, a little with our heart and a little with our brain.
Love the Sabers.
He got to get her going.
Jack Hughes is going to be hammered.
Go savers.
Not Tage Thompson might be too,
but I just like the savers more.
Almost even money.
We'll take it.
The other one,
how many guys for the abs have just got back from eight time zones away?
Quite a few.
A lot of.
Not as many for the mammute.
And I'm really not sure whether Nate dog is going to go into hibernation
or full beast mode or if they're just going to give them a day and say,
Nate, go to your hyperbaric chamber and don't talk to humans for another 24.
hours.
We're taking Utah plus $1.50.
Probably be up to Nate.
Yeah, unless it's a CBA, unless it's a mandated
thing, because I was pretty sure I read, sorry, if you traveled,
the day after you traveled had to be an off day.
So I don't know.
So that's today.
Depending on when, did he go to the state of the union?
Is he at 11?
Did he go party?
Well, Nate didn't.
I know that.
So.
And I wonder if we don't see a wave of the,
screw it.
I'll take the suspension like OV always did with the All-Star game.
We'll take a one-gamer.
Just because it's every four years, it's the Olympics.
We floored it.
Like, I wouldn't be surprised on all that I'm expecting it,
but I think it's on the table.
Some of the guys have, like, screw it.
It's a one game suspension.
You think Matthew Chek-Chears about one game this year?
I'll take the sussie.
Bill Zito, Mike.
No, he might.
Maybe.
So it's coming up.
Gorey's like perfect, 3D chess.
Not the day to just take a deep breath.
Just kind of.
Freaky.
Spend some time doing things you wouldn't otherwise be doing if they were
hockey on such us knitting god i don't know watered plants go to the rangler game they play in
yeah sure oh rancers in action tonight you're our wrangler correspondent that's twice that's two

raised in the chat goes to the U-Centors of
Calgary. We have one today.
Ryan takes it over, runs it across
the street. Jeremy Barbagello.
Barbegillo.
Missed yesterday live, USA something.
Pender is Connie made a deal north.
Would it be the best return he could get?
Sober up, son.
Yeah, well, congrats on the alcohol
in your system. I think
he's asking, would Craig Connor make a deal
with Edmonton if it was the best return
he could get? But that is a guess, and he is
slurring and he's close talking
with bad breath and I kind of want to leave the room.
I think you're probably
I think you nail.
I looked at it like
four times. I looked at it like
four times. Yeah. Like I was not
probably going to get there. I am fluent and
hammered. Yeah. You can even put some background noise
in. I'd pick that up. Yeah. So
what's
the answer to, uh, I don't think you're
I don't think it has to be the best after. I think I
think I see the best offer plus a massive premium.
Yeah.
Like there is an
an huge huge overpay.
Yeah, there's a sweatpants tax.
That's how you roll if you're going to make deals with Edmonton.
Yeah.
Plus, none of the players would agree to go up there.
Oh.
Breatthaking in February, I'm told.
It's wonderful.
That's why Connor is excited to get back.
He's going to be just smiling ear to hear to hear, isn't he?
Because he's got so much overpay.
Hey, my wife has a restaurant here.
Look at me go.
Jack, how was the show today?
Very good. Do you want to play this video or no?
So you got to get out of here.
We got to go.
Things to do, places to be.
Is it good tomorrow?
No.
Well, then play it.
How long is it?
I put, I didn't know if we were going to.
How long is it?
We did a lot of work for no reason.
I would never do that.
God, keep on tomorrow.
We are all good.
We are you going to plan for tomorrow.
Jamie McLennon.
Oh,
noodles.
It's a Wednesday.
Noodles will be back in.
Talk about hungover.
So excited.
Oh, yeah.
He's got to be just dreading life back to work.
Yeah, it's tough.
Yes.
schedule having to go back to every other day yeah oh tough for that guy so he'll join us tomorrow
looking forward to it already that's uh where i press this button and say uh see you buddies
