And thank you very much.
Timing.
Is there something that you're supposed to say?
Slanty.
Faith be to the and to those who.
Faith be, glory, God, something.
Not very good Irishman.
No, no.
It's a total faux Irishman.
I've only been on just a couple hours.
Yeah, good.
So far so good.
You're working on that passport?
Yeah.
Oh, that's all right.
I'll pay the bills there.
everybody welcome to Barnburner Live.
It is a game day.
Get your bucket hat with
Clovers on it.
Your, what is that?
Like a leprechaun hat?
I think this is a lepricon hat.
It doesn't fit on my non-lepracons-sized head,
but we're doing the best.
It's the headset.
We'll blame that.
What are you going to do?
Yeah.
It is a game day.
It is the flames and the Pats,
St. Pat's.
The St. Patrick's.
In Toronto tonight,
get your helmet on.
We are,
in fact, live at Cowboys Casino.
We are.
Hello, Cowboys.
This is pretty decent.
I like to set up here.
Look at this.
We got, uh, I mean, I won't lie to you.
They got these, uh, leather recliners got the Cowboys logo embroidered on them.
Tuck great in.
I'm, yeah, I'm, I'm in for the night.
You've been to sports books in Vegas.
Yeah.
That is the kind of recliner that you will have to stake out at like 9 a.m.
on an NFL Sunday.
This is a beautiful spot.
And, you know,
know what the best part is? We'd like you to come on down and see it. Come on down to Cowboys Casino.
Happy hour from two till five. What time is it now? Oh, it's happy hour. Yeah, that's right.
It's happy. Happy hour. Half past happy. Until a five o'clock is actually a five o'clock game time. So it all works. You get a little, you know, you get right. You know how it works.
We also got some dignitaries and luminaries and Illuminati, whatever. Yeah, yeah. Mason Raymond Raymond and Joel Otto in the house.
That's right. Flames could use Joel Otto right now. They are down-centermint.
they really could.
Yeah, they really could.
Can you clone him?
I was texting Conroy the other day.
Like you have an eBug.
Can you have an EBUC?
Yeah.
Ebeck.
Are you still?
Can you do it?
I don't think even I can do it.
I mean, I know it's bad.
And we're in a tight spot.
But even Craig Conroy was thinking,
that's probably best if I don't suit back up.
We got a lot to get to today.
Yeah.
But it is,
we do want you to come on down.
It's St. Paddy's Day.
you got a lot of options.
Why don't you come down here?
Because we're going to do this thing.
And then we're going to have a jolly old time.
Is that our...
Luck of the Irish.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And we're going to watch the flames and Leafs.
We're going to hang out here in the legendary sports bar.
It's a pretty unreal setup here.
Like the screens behind us that are just above us.
You've got like 16 different sports going on.
We've got the big standings board up.
That's wrong.
And you want to you can do it.
You can play the piano.
Oh, you can.
Hey?
Big, bing, bing. Love it. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. See you soon.
Armour to laugh. Look at the setup on that, cowboy. That is a huge St. Patrick's
It's a big lid. Big goggles. He's got a shirt that says pig mask. Hashtag pig mask.
This is unbelievable. Legend. Wow. Legend. He'll be disappointed that. I have probably
Yeah, I know. Where is that big gloat?
Retro?
We had a good run at least.
Yeah.
On a plane?
Is that what we're led to believe?
At some point.
Yeah.
Yeah.
On a plane.
DC last week, East is what we're told.
It's got to be a double agent.
That's what he's doing all in spare time.
Probably.
Take that guy and just move it over a little bit.
This program is a presentation of Bet365,
the official gaming partner of Barnburner and
after burner or whatever the moment. It's never ordinary
at Bet365. Sign up for your

when you do, sign up, why wouldn't you sign up?
Get on it. It's never ordinary at Bet365.
Not ordinary tonight either.
And throughout the course of the show, if you are involved in the
YouTube chat, although we don't really have, I mean, you can
see it, we can figure it out. But if you're in the YouTube chat,
are we doing a super chat today? We'll probably do a super chat.
If you've got something that you need said,
we can do the super chat.
Plampo, p p papp, pap, pap, pap,
put a little money down.
and we'll shuttle that across to the youth centers of Calgary
and we'll get your little comment, your query, your thought,
your hope, your dream shown on the show.
Don't call it little.
It might be a really important thing to the person.
That's right.
It could be a huge statement.
We can get into our opening statements for McLeod Law,
our good friends, the very best of the best.
Depending on how this day goes, you may need some legal assistance.
I'm on the right track.
Yeah, we know what to do and where to go.
Peter, you're on retainer for a reason.
That's right.
McLeod-law.com, the very best.
Good Calgary folks, you know, they're celebrating today, but responsibly.
As they would.
As they would.
So the Leafs and the Flames in Toronto, the big smoke, the center of the hockey universe.
Hogtown.
Yeah, yeah.
The flames have already lost the Toronto once this year.
It was not a banner night for the Calgary Falls.
It was not.
No, it was not.
Remember we talked to Jay Rose Hill that morning.
He said, keep an eye on that.
Willie Nealander.
It just seems like he's getting a breakaway in night.
He's just finding a way to put the puck in how he's doing it.
Yeah.
And I think he had two.
One was with no goalie in.
He had three.
The third was into an empty.
He managed to score when the goalie was.
Well, a hometown kid, right?
Yeah, that's right.
So he had the hat trick.
The Leafs beat the Flames six three back on the fourth of February.
Also, he had said, now this Bobby McMahon fellow, he can really shoot it.
McMahon cuts in scores.
What a shot.
You're like, okay.
Rossell knows it.
Yeah, Rose Hill dialed in.
Yeah. It's like that's the team he covers or something.
Last 10 versus the flames,
Leafs are 8-1 and 1.
That's a healthy winning percentage, I think.
But I mean, hey.
90% of the time, they're getting points.
What does that mean tonight?
Nothing.
History means nothing.
History means nothing.
They're not going to start down 6'3.
It's not aggregate?
It is a long stretch, though, when you think if they play each other twice,
we're talking about 10 games.
That's the number for...
Five years.
for a little while.
The last time we saw the flames,
if you were going to describe,
were you at the games or a chance that you took that in?
I was at the Wednesday, Vancouver game.
I did not go to the Colorado game.
I kind of had some tremors and fears regarding
Nathan McKinnon against the short-handed
at center Calgary Flames.
And it did at times play out that way.
Then again,
you know,
despite being outshot a million to one,
they kind of got it respectable.
And in very flamzy fashion,
it was good to the last drop.
It's how this is gone lately.
Yeah.
It's rope-a-dope and you're on the ropes,
but you're avoiding the big knockout punch.
You're managing to hang in there.
Can you win on points?
No, it's still a unanimous decision most nights the other way.
The last eight games, two, three, and three.
It's just, it's a lot of, I think the four, three and three in their last 10,
it's a lot of treading water and getting points where we can.
And you love the points for sense.
as we all know.
Yes.
Still clinging on a playoff spot.
That is correct.
They have two games in Hano, Vancouver.
They're two points back.
And the Utah's and the Blues have entered the chat.
Yes.
They are here.
They are potentially a problem for the Flames and Canucks.
We spoke to a very reliable source within the company who said,
do not worry about the Vancouver Canucks.
I watched the Vancouver Canucks.
They are not.
no good. They may be in that mix right now. Yeah. But do not worry. I don't know that that's wrong,
but one of these teams does have to get a spot. I'm not necessarily sure any of them are going to
give a tough battle to the Jets, who will be the one seed in the West. Yeah. But, you know,
one of them will be there. You'd sort of said it the other week, does I feel like they're backing
in or is it by default? Like, kind of. It's not as if they're way off on points from the
Eastern pace, but it just, it's like one of these things ain't like the other ones.
When you look at the seven teams in the West and then Hevers in Wildcard too.
Yeah, it just doesn't feel like this is a major accomplishment being had by the flames.
It's just, it's a lot of an aptitude kind of surrounding them right now, which is hard, I think, for,
it's hard for fans to feel like, hey, we're in the playoffs.
There's none of that.
They have two wins in their last eight games.
You don't have that.
if you get in, it's, well, okay, we're going to be fun.
But again, you can always dream on a hot goalie in a series,
and it's not as if the Jets have been undeniable in the postseason.
You can at least get hyped up, but now with, what are we looking at,
17, 18 games left in the year, it's, uh, yeah,
I guess they could get it.
Like, I feel like there's a lot of trepidation in the fan base.
They just don't score?
No, and it's gotten worse.
their numbers offensively have gotten worse since the Philly trade,
which is like, I love the trade, do it again,
but it's gotten harder.
And you and Red have continually mentioned, like,
they can't elevate, right?
Keep saying they can't go to another level.
And what you're seeing in the NHL is it's a lot harder to get two points this time of year.
Now, yeah, you're going to have your Anaheims and your San Jose,
and they've got a few of those left.
But when you're facing a team in the race right now,
you're getting their best.
When the flames run five and won their first five,
they were not getting the best of their opponents.
and is there, again, we're having the same conversation over and over again.
I just don't know where the hope lies for the diehards.
Just ask you all, right?
Get through this, but in terms of goal scoring.
Yeah, yeah.
Get through this season and then these guys from junior will graduate.
These guys from the Wranglers will come up.
We'll have so-and-so or at least, or somebody who's on the team.
Coronado we know is going to be a 50-goal guy or Zeri's going to be a,
there's some good players here.
But you do not get the feeling that a rocket Richard winner is anywhere or a candidate is anywhere close.
Nope, not at all.
And even the young kids in the system, like, they're not knocking at the door.
That was your Zeri and, you know, posth of soul and coronados.
They've arrived.
The next wave ain't next year.
It's going to be a year after that.
Like, Gridden's going to need a full year in the A, yeah.
You should probably just take very sports.
I'm sorry.
You don't.
Very spousy.
What do you say in Ireland?
Cheers sounds too, not Irish.
St. Paddy's Day.
Yeah.
It's a good one.
Cowboys Casino.
Come on down.
Because at the end of the day,
what else,
you could be,
what else,
do you want to go work in your backyard?
No.
You want to go pick dog poo?
God, no.
You know, when it melts
and you get all that water at the corner.
It's really gross.
You want to go and like,
Jimmy open the drain?
No.
No, you come to Cowboys,
and sit down and we'll have a drink, we'll watch, watch hockey.
We're going to watch the flames and leaves.
We're talking about together.
This is a big support group.
Yeah.
We're all going through these scoring and we're together.
The other thing is, too, maybe you don't have prime.
Oh.
Hey?
Oh.
Maybe you don't have prime.
How are you going to watch this game?
I hope you got Prime.
Look at this.
This jersey here.
What is going on?
Look at this.
Just.
Somebody has just entered the room.
That is a full.
With an Austin Matthews, St.
Pat's jersey.
That's a GTA.
hoser right there.
That's bad form.
It's bad form.
It's a fine.
It's probably a fine.
Now, what do you make of their
St. Paddy's Day gear?
I like them.
I do too.
Yeah, and they haven't like
not won a cup in 60 years in that jersey.
It's the blue ones that are cursed.
So they should be excited about the green ones.
Yeah.
I suppose.
I suppose.
So I suppose.
But yeah, if you're if you're looking for the,
oh, it's the offense is just
going to fix like,
they'll have some hot shooting and there'll be some lucky runs,
but there is nothing you can look at this roster and say,
yeah, this is going to be a top 10 offense.
Like sure, Yigar could score a little more and Zeri without an injury,
maybe produces more and Backlin will return.
Everyone gets back to where they're supposed to be,
but it's still going to be a team that has to win 3-2-2-1.
Yeah, you need a lot of things to come together.
You need Fairby to get into a spot where he's going to be that 20 goal guy.
And it looked like he'd found it a bit there with Backlin and,
but now back on her and it's like okay everything's back in the blender again zerry coronado
sharonovich has to come back to being some sort of a scorer because with hey the goal he's part of the team too
he's on the payroll yeah and it's well all the are as a goalie they can't well he's still part of the
club he gets to put a jersey on play 60 a night if wolf is going to steal you games or steal you points
you're more apt to do that if you're scoring an extra goal here and there so it's
It's not going to be pretty a lot of nights.
I do wonder about this one.
The start of a four-game road trip.
Yep.
And the first of a back-to-back, it's Toronto and then the three New York area teams, which
ain't pretty.
Nah.
But, I mean, New Jersey's limping a bit with injuries.
The Islanders were clear sellers of the deadline, and of course, have gone on a nice run
since then for no reason.
The Rangers, I don't think anyone knows what to expect from them.
They've been so hot and cold this year.
And the Leafs are a little growly.
They lost to Florida at a big game at home.
And then the senators came in and kicked their asses,
which is always, that doesn't get ignored in Toronto.
No.
So they're like, we're blowing it.
Everything's, the sky's falling.
The sins are only four back.
But the difference being, they're only four out of top spot in the Atlantic,
and they also have two games in hand.
So this still could be a team that has home ice throughout their division.
We'll see.
Just taking a look at our feed here.
Yeah, what are you?
We look great.
I was going to say, how good do we look?
We look.
We look really good.
I think we should just have like dress up Thursdays because it's Hawaiian T-shirt Fridays.
Right, yeah, yeah.
Really just explore our creativity on a weekly basis.
It's real nice, real nice.
Because we're now just getting into the chat, so I apologize.
I'm just going to try and take a temperature, just kind of get to see what the vibe is.
well that's not good go leaves go we don't like that
no big brain j says it's going to be the blues that's not very positive easy
schedule for the blues they got Nashville three times in their nest six and I think they
got a healthy smattering of ducks and sharks and things like that yeah this is not
um hmm do see a cheers does anyone know what the irish cheers is it that slant
thing you'll see in there's yeah yeah you say so there's there
Does it taste better with the green or is that just because we're feeling better because look how good we look?
Yes.
Yes.
Yes, it does.
Matthews.
Matthews will score a hat trick.
I don't know how to talk about that.
You know what we can't talk about.
What's up?
Our bet 365.
Let's get at it.
Because we can tell you that beliefs have done this and that and 8-1 and 1 and 1 and 10 and all that kind of thing.
But bet 365, of course, is the official gaming partner.
A breaking news coming in from Bet365, where every nail biting overtime win is a barn burner.
Every face off, hat trick, power play, shot on goal, penalty shot, and every suspenseful minute in between is amazing.
Whatever the moment, it's never ordinary at Bet365.
Official partner of the NHL, download the Bet365 app today.
Use the code Nation to get in on the game.
Must be 19 or older.
Please play responsibly.
So let's look at the game line.
You're going to pull out your app.
Here's what it's going to show you.
Flames pretty significant.
hundred dogs of plus 170 on the money line.
Leaves heavily favored at minus 205.
That means you've got to lay $205 to win 100.
So goes the American odds.
Puck line a little different there.
That's the minus and plus one and a halfs.
And the over under set for five and a half with,
it looks like the under being the higher payout,
the over more likely.
I like the over if I had to.
Yeah.
I like both these goalies.
But again, the last time these two teams,
played we saw nine and you can't blame decimal for the empty netter right nine i could have put my
thing in i guess suppose where would you run it into right there yeah okay because i'm in with this thing
well that's right you know think about that because this one wasn't working i don't want you to
set it up though well so i mean times yeah we could just probably yeah probably figure it out
so that's uh that's the scoop now did you look any deeper i did i went in back and looked back at
the last game they played which again means nothing but it did tell you some guys that
were up to play the opponent.
Nazim Kadri, six shots and two helpers in the six three loss to the Leifes in their prior
outing, which wasn't that long ago.
I think it was mid-December.
And Calgary boy William Nealander, who somehow was allowed to suit up for Sweden,
huge controversy.
I don't know why I didn't get more attention.
Born in Calgary, Calgary, born and raised, raised kind of, plus 145 to score.
He had three in the Leafs victory in December.
You're going to set this thing up.
No one likes to show off, Willie.
no one likes it.
He's at home now, so.
I guess so.
Maybe you'll settle down.
Just settle down, really.
Yeah.
Just calm yourself.
And then, of course, just a huge slate tonight as well with a bunch of other great games.
So the wide range of markets, they're not kidding.
You want to go bet on if anyone's scored in the first 10 minutes of the second period?
You can go do that.
Love it.
That's 365.
B-19 are over.
Play responsibly.
Use the promo code nation to sign up if you haven't already.
It's Bet 365.
Let's see.
Because I have to do one of these, I believe.
Audio.
And do you have a request? Do you want to have a request?
Oh, I love a request.
How about the stop the hammering?
You got to stop the hammering for me?
Let me see if there is a stop the hammering.
Yeah, that sounds good to you, Jack.
Yeah, loud and clear.
Roger, Roger.
Yeah.
No hammering.
Hi, Jack.
What's happening?
How's it going?
This is a cool little spot for me over here.
It is a good little spot.
It is a good little spot.
I miss seeing you at work.
You're just over the shoulder.
You're kind of lurking.
I don't want to scare anybody.
Stage slurker.
We're here in the legendary sports.
lounge at Cowboys Casino.
Starting to trickle in here.
Yeah, like that. You know, people work, not just, you know,
amateur podcasters, like I say, real jobs.
A lot of those jobs will go past 3 p.m.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'm sure we'll see a nice little steady build
towards Puck Drop at 5.
Very nice. For the Leafs.
5.30?
5. 5. 5 o'clock, I believe you.
Right there?
We have all the other details. We just don't know what time the game starts.
Yeah, we'll be here.
Mitch Marner, 80 points of 65 games.
He has somehow for a guy that's been a magnet for criticism and a lightning rod and all of that,
yeah,
feels very quiet.
And now it's regular season.
It's not when he's going to get that kind of reaction out of people.
Right.
So it's when they lose to Tampa and five that that's when the knives come up.
Yeah.
I'm just a little surprised at him being a UFA at the season's end.
It's Toronto,
everything that's,
he's performing.
So he's holding up his end of the bargain.
I just thought there'd be a lot more.
hand ringing and I'm going to say consternation.
Yeah, good word.
I think you've got to tip your cap to Brad Scher Living and the Marner camp,
which has not been a always quiet camp.
There was clearly a tete-a-tete before the season.
It was like, fellas, if we can't get this done now,
this has to be dead silent and a complete non-issue all year.
And it's been dead silent until we heard about a rantan offer.
Carolina had inquired about Marner's availability.
and I imagine Trill Living said, look, we love you.
We'd love to have you.
But I'm not doing my job if I don't ask.
You don't have a contract for next year.
Is Carolina a place you'd want to go?
Because if so, I can explore this further.
And it sounded like a thanks, but no thanks.
And he scored two the next night.
So I don't think it was a big distraction.
5.30.
Yeah, 530.
530 game right here.
Bonus half hour.
Jack's going to do some freestyle rap.
Get some beers in you.
These, because I still have the other.
you double on down?
You probably can't tell,
but I have other glasses on behind these.
Do you wear glasses?
Spectacular glasses.
What these do, though, is really dig into my beak.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You have some imprints there?
I've got some,
there's some downward force on.
Like the pillow lines you're going to get?
When you, after a nap, like some of those in there?
Can you tell that I move?
How do I look now?
So good.
Still good?
Yeah, yeah.
Okay, perfect.
Perfect.
How do you feel?
Ah.
So good.
Thirsty.
Yeah.
It's Lante or whatever.
How's your Irish accent?
Terrific.
Working on it.
We'll get better.
Figure it out.
The Leafs, meanwhile, and I guess I was going to, people don't want us to talk about the
Leafs, but it's the opponent tonight.
That's fair.
I don't think that's unreasonable.
I think you talked about Washington last week.
They've had a great season.
They're kind of leading the field.
Does it give you any kind of confidence that they're going to do it in the playoffs?
I don't know.
Where are you on the Leafs?
in a lot of ways the team has kind of avoided major controversy.
Matthews has been out and in.
They've had the Marner thing,
which is kind of a...
Matthews had tough go.
They're pretty steady in terms of point producing,
although right now they have one regulation,
winning their last...
Oh, nine.
Yeah, four four, yeah.
So it's four and one in that stretch,
but one of them coming in regulation.
I don't know.
They haven't been playing their best hockey.
And after the trade deadline, you saw Florida look really good.
You see Dallas make this big swing.
Colorado's revamped like half that roster, three centers, two defensemen, two goalies.
It's wild how much change they've had.
Tampa improves.
So it kind of feels like, well, all these other teams got better.
And yeah, we might be better, but they look way better.
So I think there's kind of that, like, okay, when are we going to see the, you know,
this better team that we've been promised because you lose to Florida and Ottawa back-to-back,
both divisional games, both opportunities to really take control of the Atlantic.
And if you could Tampa or Florida in round one,
oh, like this divisional first round is great for rivalries and matchups and selling tickets.
It just sets up another chance to flop in the spring for a team that's done it,
what, 80 of the last nine years?
And it's hard, I guess it is a flop.
But there's no shame in losing to those types of teams.
I guess if you have a big series lead and then you piss it away,
it's kind of a flop.
I just,
I don't know that I feel,
you're now a couple years
into the true living thing.
I think they've got a little more
gristled on the bone.
They do.
They're slower,
but they're better in the playoffs
to be my guess.
You would think,
but I don't know
that I feel any more confident
picking them in a series
if you had to.
What I would love
if I was going to say
Leefs have to win a series,
you got to win that division.
Go get the Ottawa.
Ottawa looks like the Wild Card 1 actually,
so it would be them.
like that that's a spot where it's like okay
I like your chances here but Florida and Tampa
they've played those teams so many times
and had their hearts broken so many times
and all those other guys have jewelry
you just don't worry about Florida
or Tampa being at their best in the playoffs and with the Leafs
it's the entire knock on this core
yeah there it is Jack gets it on
it's it can't be much tighter than that
same game's played 81 points
one more victory do have
of the Leafs, but that's got six, seven coin flip kind of feel.
Yep.
That's why.
And look, look at the points in the games played.
They got two games in hand to catch Florida.
Go do it.
Like if you're Leafs, like, it's yours.
You don't want the tough first round matchup.
You can kind of avoid it.
I mean, Otto wasn't not going to be easy.
But if you don't want to play Tampa, Florida, win your damn division.
Yeah.
And have lost four to five.
Yes.
So that probably is not going to have Leaf fans like Johnny.
Johnny Matthews.
Johnny Matthews over there feeling straight.
Good time or bad time to play the Leafs because you can play this card either way.
They've only won one of their last five.
Yeah.
It's also like, oh, I think they'll be ready tonight.
To me, it's still the flames.
They haven't really disappointed you in terms of their effort outside of maybe one of the games on that road trip.
Right.
They fight and they scrape and claw and scratch and it's admirable and you're like,
may you deserve, maybe you deserve a better fate there.
I just don't know where the goals come.
Yep.
You're asking your goalie to be almost perfect.
You'd betterly kill better be great and it hasn't been great this year.
And if you get a power play, there's a lot of pressure to score because they just,
they're the last team in the league in scoring.
And by most scoring measures, like goals for per game, even strength scoring, shooting percentage.
They're dead last in all those things.
So, I mean, what does that tell you about your margin for error?
So just be a little better.
Just a little better.
That's, you know, set goals, right?
Wolf, if you can just allow zero.
There is that.
Be a couple goals, back.
Yeah.
My beak.
What's going on?
I'm not sure.
Something's going on back there.
Oh, Tim Hortons.

How was your weekend?
I know you had a lot of arena time.
I'm sure you had a few roll-ups going on.
Yeah. My daughter was pumped. Back-to-back rolls. Coffees. Really? Free coffee. Free coffee.
Double whammy. Just on the free coffee train.
So I've got, I think I got four or five prizes sitting in the chamber. They're just ready to roll.
I got three donuts, two coffees.
Jeez. Oh, yeah. Wow.
Yeah. Yeah.
It's almost a team party for the girls. Roll up to win with Timmy Hoes. Tim Hortons.
How was your weekend?
Because I guess it is still Monday.
It's Monday afternoon.
Yeah, it was weird not doing a show this morning, but that's all right.
Yeah.
Skied yesterday. Oh, yeah.
Still going on out there, apparently.
Great snow.
Don't want to say too many positive things because they don't want any more lines.
There was no lines.
If you could just go wherever you wanted.
I don't have to wait for it.
It was unbelievable.
And then, yeah, just the usual tomfoolery on a little pickup hockey here or there.
Gotcha.
Baseball, we're not quite there yet.
This is our small little window to ski.
love it.
Yeah.
It's gorgeous out there.
It is.
Yeah.
It's been a long time.
You.
Yeah.
Well, they, uh, were they asking about me?
They said they still hadn't found a ski boot that was going to fit your calf.
Yeah.
So I think they'd given up on you.
Yeah, that's a problem.
Darn calves.
Not fault.
It's not my fault.
Maybe a few more heel strikes, but still, they're going to be huge.
Yeah.
I mean, it's, it's sort of.
is.
When it hurts to ski because your calves are too big,
yeah,
we just got to move on.
They're like,
sir,
we have these size 17s that we've blown out the,
uh,
the ankle part of is,
are these going to work?
You're like,
my foot's swimming in here.
Now my calf fits,
but my foot doesn't.
Trying to remember what that,
what it was.
We talked about on the show just like,
I kind of unofficially retired.
There was up,
I'm just at a point in my life now where it's like,
you know what?
Oh,
you know what?
Rollerblading.
That's what it was.
You're done.
Cleaning out the shed or whatever.
It's like,
Well, there's my roller blades.
I wonder should I just, what am I?
Who are you fooling?
You're never rollerblading again.
So I don't know if you didn't call the league?
No.
No.
I just kind of.
The national roller skis.
What the hell is the name of that league?
Yeah.
The, uh, I just, uh, Calgary rats aren't calling you?
No.
No.
Now, it was, uh, Alexander Burroughs.
Was he roller hockey or just, or like, just ball hockey?
Well, one of the two at least, and I know Huberto is a huge.
ball hockey player and go back in the summer.
And, yeah, Burroughs obviously had the crazy ECHL story, but there's a bunch of guys that
were going down to Manhattan Beach to play roller hockey.
Venice Beach, up and down the boardwalk.
So I've given up on the roller blades.
I feel like that's done.
Yeah.
I set those along the way.
I don't know that I'm done skiing yet.
Okay.
I don't know.
Can I ask another?
And I'm selfishly, I don't want to, you know, like touch a nerve here.
But can I have your golf clubs?
See, you're right here.
You do love taking the piss.
I want your golf clubs.
But then I wouldn't have any golf clubs in the event that I wanted to go golfing.
So my question is, are you unofficially retired from golfing?
I don't think age is going to hold me.
It's just with rollerblades.
It's time.
Yeah, that's fair.
It just feels like there's great, great danger at hand there.
If you fall down, it could not be, it could be catastrophic.
Those little smart cars, you can launch.
those things just for the wrong angle.
I don't think I don't think I'm going to suffer a savage injury on the golf course.
I hope not.
Unless you're hitting into our group.
Right.
But if you did, can you leave the clubs to me in the world?
God, almighty.
Are we good to hit?
I don't know if we should hit.
Oh, we're good.
I don't know.
Maybe we should whack.
And as soon as he hits the T-shot, starts going right.
And the Marshall's card comes just over the crest of the hill.
but it's like there's it's right at it but there's no way is there oh no bang right in the
middle of the windshield would have lost an eye you oh yeah yeah yeah would have killed a man
that day you'd have killed a man you wouldn't be here you'd be behind bars
we had listeners i was showing off drinking alone yeah yeah yeah wouldn't that be sad
slanting yeah cheers cheers good good knowing you
ah well i'm not sure
Um, this is, uh, Barrow's, it's a great rollerblader.
I seen him rollerblading at South Center Mall.
He even wore a helmet for safety.
So there you go.
A lot of people seeing him there.
Yeah.
It's quite a scene.
Yeah.
There you go.
So, uh, confirmed.
Well, it's in the comments.
Yeah.
Confirmed.
Yeah.
It's right there.
5.30?
Oh, boy.
Yeah.
We're not getting the game time.
No, God, no.
No, we're not getting the game time.
Now, it is Barnburn alive.
We're here at Cowboys Casino.
We do invite you to join us.
We are here.
There's some seating available.
I'll say that.
There are some very comfortable recliners.
People are rolling in.
Yes.
Are you heard from Bender?
He's on his way.
Oh.
So two of the.
Don't do it.
John.
He's an old lineman.
Punch him right in the face.
They're huge humans.
They're wonderful people.
Yeah.
So at John Bender's sighting as well tonight,
the flames,
a couple of Flames alumni are going to be swinging by.
Joel Otto and Mason Raymond.
Now,
Joel Otto did a ton of work for the hitman for a long time.
So you'd see him around the dome all the time.
And you're like, that guy was on the 89 team?
That's right.
The guy that looks like he could go take some minutes on the, could go right now.
Like bottom six, win a draw with a minute left.
That's our guy.
He was alive in 89?
Like if you see him and you were told,
Backland's out week to week.
Yes.
But he's going to take some third line minutes, maybe some P.K.
be perfect it's been a while since he's played but he looks in good shape looks like he
could do it it's not about eager shorg but i would welcome that yeah sorry eager sorry are
you don't know our yigore our yigour you don't know our eager you don't know so yeah i guess
mason raymond's going to take what time off from selling uh silveradoes out in cochran oh he's
yeah cockeron royalty that's right so whatever the royalty do it's good to see mace been a while
Yeah, he could really skate.
Yeah, he could wheel around.
Here's a night for him, two of his former teams.
I know, yeah, yeah.
He came here on that hometown discount, minus the disc.
You know, good agent.
It's kind of like you just kind of wait for it,
and it'll come the pender shots when you know they're there.
I just kind of wait long enough.
I don't.
There it is.
That's more on the GM than the player.
What was he making, three?
Yeah, maybe 3.15 or something?
Yeah, come on.
It's fine.
Coming off a 20 goal year?
Come on off a 20 goal year.
That's not terrible.
That's market rate.
That's perfect.
Happy for him.
So what you're saying is he should have taken.
So you're on what I'm saying is saying he should have taken.
True living.
Oh.
But at the same time,
$3 million for a 20 goal guy isn't terrible.
The time it was probably fine.
So,
yeah,
he just didn't score 20.
We got here.
That was the problem.
So now it's back to Mason.
Yeah,
so it's not the contract or the discount.
This is a game called pass the buck.
Keep moving it around.
You know what?
Let's take a look.
Let's just figure it out.
Really?
We have to do this?
Yeah.
Oh, there it is.
Yeah, there's nothing I like more than, uh, just stat hunting, eh?
You with your big flapper.
And then when it comes time to, to pay the piper, would that be like a Irish thing today?
No.
All right.
Had 19, 19 goals the year before.
And then 45 points came to Calgary, had 12.
and 57 games.
And then the year after?
Four and then stocked.
Four in 29 games.
And then.
To living.
You with me on that?
Hey, you know what?
Family business.
Maybe would have had to close up shop if it weren't for Mason saying,
I'm done with the NHL.
I'm going to come back.
I thought you're talking about your living.
You stepped in.
No.
He's still going.
He looks weird and blue still, hey?
Yeah, kind of.
You see the odd shot of him on TV or in the press box?
Yeah.
I know that's his color.
You're looking weird in that blue, buddy.
I still think we should get those shirts made.
I was going to.
When we were talking about maybe going to Toronto on a shirt,
get the hashtag blame for living.
Yeah, good.
It's your fault, Brad shirts.
That's a longer, that wouldn't be a hashtag, but it would work.
It might still work.
I'm not super computer savvy, but I think,
you'd make the font smaller.
Right.
Yeah.
Another thing I was thinking about,
just driving on the way here,
about this team and where they're at.
Yeah.
They didn't.
The Kachuk pick was a very,
it was a great draft pick.
They made lots of good draft picks.
They had arguably one of the best draft classes
in the last 25 years.
It's just that Adam Fox didn't sign
and Matthew Kichuk, poof.
Those are two franchise players, right?
Like, you're talking about,
a guy that gets Norris about most years.
Would you classify Matthew Kachachuk
like a superstar because we use that.
Gotta be close.
We use that phrase.
How do you get a superstar?
Well, you have to draft high.
Yeah.
Now the flames don't do it.
I would argue,
I'm with you.
I think that for what it is,
I think that's superstar quality player.
Yeah.
It's not,
they draft it.
It's not McKinn and McDavid,
but it's pretty damn close, right?
I mean,
once you get beyond the dry sidle and throw Crosby in there and
McCar,
then it's like that next tier.
He's kind of been in that top 10 scoring.
He's a top 10 winger in the league.
I'd say that.
And then offers so much beyond that.
Yes.
We know what Johnny was.
The Bennett one, I don't know what else you were going to do.
We can play our game and go through and start to say, well, this guy had more points.
At that point in time, it was the pick.
We said at the end of the Sam Bennett saga here,
nothing screamed more for change of scenery than that whole situation.
Yeah, he had a lot of coaches.
Yeah, he also had chance on the top line and immediately took his own penalties.
And yeah, he was great in the playoffs.
and yeah, he probably could have gone to the A, but no, he was too good to go.
Like, I don't think it was ever going to happen here.
I think he needed that reset.
Yeah.
But could you have avoided the need for the reset?
I don't think there's any doubt that the circumstance had played itself into that.
I think the reset was you had an opportunity to get max term or something close to it with Kachuk, and you didn't.
Because at the time, the cap.
I guess, I guess, I'm still thinking just about Sam.
No, I know.
I don't think Sam was a through them into.
a reset. Sam was gone and they
you know, I believe they had
the Oilers series. They were the top team in
the division. Yeah. I mean, you can
say, well, they should have sent him to the American League.
His play at the time...
You couldn't have. He scored 19 goals, 18
goals. And he, yeah, like, he was
a really unfortunate situation
and there's
some blame to go around, but it also just didn't work.
Yeah. Oh, he never
played here. Yeah, he did. He was no good.
Well, how many games? Well,
I mean, if you can't take pro leeks,
job or Monahan or Backland's job.
Like, what, are we supposed to just not earned minutes, throw you up top?
Like, it was, it was just a tough, tough situation for everyone.
And it looks silly now because he's such a great player.
He's got paid this summer, if not sooner.
Like, that one does have top center on the market.
Proceed with caution to it for teams for me.
Because I think he's a very good player.
I feel like he is going to sign a contract that he will not, will not be able to
live up to if you look in terms of what's the regular season stats yeah what points he's i just don't think i think
i think you add him not to help you get points in the regular season to help you win playoff series and i think
you saw that at the four nations and but then who has if you're a contender yeah they would want that
guy who has the one who can pay him i think i think florida will be the group that does it
apparently they're back to the table that would have to be the discount and sam feels like a guy that
would be smart enough to say it's tax free it's florida i'm already one of
one here. I've got a good chance is
any to win another one or two here
over the balance of
this next contract, whatever I sign.
Another example is the team tonight.
Tavares' money's off the books. He'll come
back at something really reasonable.
I don't know how it goes with Marner, but if
they had to spend $8 million for a second line center
and Tavares is the third line center, I like their depth way
better rather than ramming a
domy or having to spend to get Lotton at the
deadline or pretending David Camps
to center. Like,
I think. David
who? Kumpf.
Comf. He's like, it's a 4C.
So I could see him being a fit in Toronto.
You know, Trillivin would love that kind of player,
albeit he was the guy that traded a moment.
That was the first draft pick, if I'm not mistaken.
I think that was Trillivings' first walk up to the podium as Flemn's GM to announce Sam Bennett.
And the other part of that whole thing having to reset is
Sean Monant couldn't stay healthy.
And that wasn't a one-time thing.
He's done for a long time here.
I don't know if he comes back for Columbus this year.
Look at this. We've got a celebrity in sliding into the DMs,
Brian Pike.
I have arrived in Manhattan, he says.
The wrench in the big city.
How about that?
Thank you.
What's he doing out there?
He's traveling.
He's reporting.
He's on the flames road trip.
He's on the beat.
Was he on the charter?
No, because he's in Manhattan, not Toronto.
The charter was in Toronto.
He's set up for the three games in five nights in Greater New York.
Not sure there's going to be a morning skate tomorrow,
given the flames are playing a back-to-back of travel.
And then if the Rangers do skate, are they skates,
skating at MSG or they go into a practice facility,
but he'll be on the scene tomorrow with everything we need to know about Flames
Rangers.
Are we going to have boots on the ground?
You have boots on the ground.
I love boots on the ground.
We'll get them on in some capacity, yeah.
And I would like us to stick to incredibly not sports questions for him if that's possible.
Yeah, I don't want to.
And it's hard because he's very sports.
See, he loves it.
It's going to be difficult for him.
Yeah.
Ryan, are you okay with that if we do no sports questions with an alive hit tomorrow?
He's here.
You'll answer.
That was always my favorite when we would do phone calls.
Phones.
And so come here, bring your questions, and you'd get them on the air,
and then you'd ask them something completely unrelated before you even get to their question,
and then thank them and then hang up on them.
Paper plastic bags.
Thanks for the call.
Thanks for the call.
Appreciate it.
Great question.
We can make it work.
See, there he is.
Flex.
Great team player.
You notice that about Pike?
I like it.
Great team guy.
I like it.
Pinder reportish time?
Let's do it.
Do you like Pinder?
It feels like a Pinder report.
Hey, Village Honda.
Is that next week?
Next week.
Don't say too much.
I don't.
Village Honda insider.
But if I have too many green beers, I just might become old spilly beans and tell you.
The $1 million buy an event is back.
Village Honda wants to buy your pre-owned vehicle.
Even if you don't buy theirs, if you're looking to sell, if you have a lease to return to another dealership,

Who present the Pinder Report.
We told you about it's a game day.
Let's get to it here.
Look at that.
That's our Igor.
That's our Igor.
There he is.
The second best bell rushing in the league.
You do not know our Igor?
This Alexey Prutus.
You know him?
Very good.
Oh, everybody knows him.
Now they do, yeah.
It's a prime game.
Reminder.
If you're wheeling into the neighborhood pub,
you've made the wrong turn.
You've got to come down to Cowboys.
You're going to have it up here on the big screen for you.
Prime.
Cowboys Casino Sports Lounge will be playing it here.
And, yeah, there's some more graphics.
That's Matt Coronado and Matthew Nyes.
It's a Matt college mats.
A mat battle.
A battle for Matt supremacy.
Oh, my God.
It's not going well for the Calgary Flames offensively.
I don't want to nerdy out with these numbers, but Ken Wilson is very smart.
No, this doesn't look nerdy at all.
This looks like straightforward shit.
But let me use layman's terms.
Hey, the XGF percentage over the XGF.
F slash 60's short schish.
Let's just look in the brackets.
31st, 31st, 31st, tied for 32nd, 27th, 31st.
These are all things you want to be good at.
Shooting the puck in the net, getting chances,
scoring goals, and putting yourself at a spot where you're expected to score goals.
They're not good at any of these things right now.
And it's Kent.
And I trust Kent.
I trust Kent, too.
He would know.
Any Kent's you don't trust?
There's a couple of dirty Kent's out there that are not to be trusted.
A ton of a Kent.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I trust him.
I've run into a Kent or two in my time.
Okay.
Well, we got the good one in Afterburner.
That's all you need to know, right?
I mean, that one, that fucking Kent.
He's, he might still hear from me.
I can't say.
I can't die.
I can't do it.
Sorry.
What?
Not Kent Wilson, though.
I love Kent.
No, a different Kent.
Yeah.
We worked together last week and Afterburner.
That's right.
He's a good.
He's a delightful Kent.
He's a good old Kent, that guy.
As far as Kent's
go.
I don't know if you had a
cake made, but it is
your favorite hockey player's birthday.
Michael Backland.
That's a segue?
I don't know if you had a cake made.
I didn't, but thanks.
It claims news. Happy birthday back.
Happy birthday, Mike.
What do you want for your birthday? I'd like to be healthy.
We can't give you that.
What'd you like for your birthday? I'd like to not go
on that road trip. Well, all right.
Granted. Yeah, spent some time with the kids, just kind of hanging home with my dogs and my wife.
New lines of the flames. Of course, we saw their one game without Michael Backlin.
Lines. Lines. A minor tweak Dryden Hunt and Adam Klopka. You now have top nine Dryden Hunt.
If you're wondering why the flames can't score, don't blame Dryden Hunt.
He's a dirty one. He's a dirty hunt. Yeah. Okay, very good. A new father, by the way.
Congratulations.
Congratulations, Dryden. You had that season debut. I guess it wouldn't be the season debut.
his latest recall within days of a new child on the scene.
So congrats to Dryden and the family.
Oh, he is, you know what?
Underwater right now.
He's so thankful to be in Toronto.
He's like, God damn, can we get on this road in day?
Coach, can we leave on Saturday for this game?
Do I get my own room?
I do.
Oh, yes.
Thank you.
Oh, I needed this.
Where were you?
I was trying to call.
Oh, we had a mandatory stretching meeting session meeting film.
Got to go.
Babe, sorry.
You're going to be heartbroken.
Braden and Pahal will come back in on the right side.
Danil Miramanov against the McKinnon-led abs didn't work.
I've kind of come into your side.
Are you?
Took 60.
Not damn games.
An old Miro.
Paul's been a good third pair.
Jake Bean will play with him.
Ball and Anderson.
Bean.
Beans.
Beans.
Bees, beans.
And Joel Hanley.
Top pair, Joel Hanley, still a thing.
I believe.
and Joe Hanley.
All right.
Standings, what do they look like?
It's a little bit confusing.
Games played or not even, Dino.
How come?
Well, the flames had one game canceled due to fires,
but also just because, you know.
Fires.
I'm getting punchy now.
So they're a game and a half back.
They have two games in hand
under two points back of the Vancouver Canucks
who hold the second and final wild card.
Also in the mix, the Blues,
who played a lot more than the flames,
three games more.
They're also two points up on the flames.
And the Utah's, two more games with the flame suddenly tied in points.
They have been a tricky out lately and beat Vancouver last night.
Yeah, it's not a pretty run.
No.
I think the Blues are probably in that group, the team with the best last five, ten game record.
And the next schedule coming up.
But at the same time, this is 500 sloppish hockey.
Yeah.
For these teams.
And one of them's getting in.
it's true
Utah
they've missed a lot of guys
first half of the year
I know two of their biggest
defensemen in terms of their acquisitions
like John Marino, Dersie and a few other guys were hurt
circuit should have I think missed some time
he did
but so they're better but blues sold a bit
this year but they also added earlier
No Perreco
Fowler's really picked up the slack
and they get Nashville three times
in the next six
Nashville's having a bad year
oh remember that segment we're going to do
I told you so.
That's one of Rets.
Okay, yeah.
Yeah.
It is one of his.
It is.
That's a good one.
Now, here's the thing.
It's all about attitude and perspective.
What if we just turn these standings upside down?
Well, we won't, but you can see three points from a top 10 selection.
That's the other side for the flames.
Again, just give us clarity.
Get in or get the hell up.
Hmm.
It does feel destined for peak sadness.
There's no way.
I'm really sorry.
There's, yeah.
I'm sorry, everyone.
It's going to be peak sadness.
But however, unlike in other years,
thin at center, one of them's hurt.
They cannot score special teams.
It's not like they're going to power play their way in.
It's not their fault.
This team, probably most prime out of a lot of them
that we've seen over the last four or five years, whatever,
to maybe fall.
There's no.
Please, please.
It just feels like this team has so much.
that needs to go right for them to win games right now.
It's true.
And their goalie has been excellent.
Even Vlodar the last couple months has been very good.
When are you going to start doing that?
Doing.
Calling for Vlodar starts.
No.
No.
I'm not there,
but when they've gone to him,
it hasn't killed you.
I'll say that.
That's true.
And it's all the classic Vlodar earmarks,
which are they,
wow,
he's battling tonight.
What a great save.
And was that one tipped?
And it wasn't like $8.95 at the end of the night.
But he's been his best hockey of the year.
I would say he's been in the new year.
But too strong?
Well, he had gone...
No, he had just...
He had gone on that stretch where, yeah, he hadn't had a win.
Yeah.
And then I think whatever it was, he had points in four or whatever.
So, yeah, I just, it's going to happen.
Leaves...
I just feel like it's going to...
Maybe we need to start what are.
You're going to do it.
I'm not...
Write it down.
Nope.
I mean, you can write it down.
Jack, write it down.
I told you so.
We can use that later.
Yeah, that's what we're looking for.
We told you you.
Do this pender?
I know, I couldn't help it.
Leaf's lines.
It's been a bit of a shuffle here.
People are very unhappy.
They've lost two divisional games.
They're putting Marner and Matthews back together after having them split up.
Naisal play left side of that top unit.
Tveras, Nielander, Holmberg, okay.
McMahon, Domi Robertson.
And this is where they run into issues.
Domi just okay and better wing, I'd argue.
He had a great fight the other day.
Oh, geez, who is that?
He beat the time.
That was, was it Schultt, Schmidt, right?
Nate Schmidt.
It was.
He ragged all the piss on ahead of him.
Holy cow.
Yes.
That was a Schmidt kicking.
Yeah, it was.
Yeah.
Oh my God.
And Scott Lawton, the trade deadline acquisition will center the fourth line.
That's not where they drew it up.
I'm sure that's very temporary.
I think he had a fight last game to do this.
Come on now.
Barubei, you can't be doing that.
Guy scraps.
Move them up.
Although I guess Domi fought too.
So he did.
Only one spot they can go.
Brandon Carlo, Carlo.
The acquisition.
at the deadline. He is playing
on the right side of
Morgan Riley.
There he is. There it is. And have we heard
the starter tonight? Wool?
Still ours. One of the two.
It'll be one of those two. Yeah. Not going to
be the Zamboni driver whose wife still won't
shut up on Twitter. No. Okay. Good to know.
It won't be him. Rest. He may play for
the flames. Hard to say. Because he just loves playing
for the other team. That is true. Watch for that
tonight. Eastern standings.
It's a little, we showed it before, but Toronto
striking distance from the division lead.
back but two games in hand you take care of business tonight that gap closes to two potentially so we'll see uh
how it goes to the leaps in that incredibly difficult atlantic division leaps are going to be wearing
their same paths you know a little peak at the prakies i would love it yep yeah that's the building
it's going to be in those are not the jerseys but the color scheme indeed and our boy here uh he's got
the the white yeah there's some scumbag fan here with his jersey on thanks for being here
thanks for supporting the pod no there's nothing you know there's another one
Let's join them now.
There's a few.
They're gathering here.
It's another St. Pat's.
Geez.
I'm telling you.
No, I need you to listen up here because the Leafs had a two-game skid.
It is all explainable.
I'd try to tell you, but there's a fan that went to Toronto just for this two-game set.
She could tell you why I didn't go.
Let's go.
I'm really sorry.
I came all the way from Scotland.
I thought the Leeks were going to win.
Two games they lost.
It must have been the fact that the guys were so overwhelmed at the size of my massive fucking tit.
They lost concentration.
I am sorry.
They let me sit on the bench.
That's why the loss tonight, they were overcome by Scottish pheromones.
They didn't know what they were doing.
I mean, that's one explanation.
It's happened all of us at one time or another.
Jack?
Our performance has suffered because of somebody's pharamones.
Mass of pheromones.
Jack, is that a reasonable excuse?
Can we take that?
Okay, that'll work.
What part of that would I use for a drop?
because she says massive
effing and then
there's two drops there's at least two
yeah can we hear the fetamones
no okay keep moving all right
very good zane preck still good at hockey
even though ret warner hates him
odd take it's not really
let's watch this goal you guys get some else out
this is parrick the guy that looks like
he's toying with children
in the league that he's
still quite young in there's a shot
yeah give it back to parrick i mean
why not
we could him dance
the line. This is Zaining.
I didn't even know that, by the way.
Give me a shovel if you need.
Zaining? I mean,
unintentional.
It's a serve nonetheless. That's firm
but fair. Is he developing bad habits?
Let's go see what the
statistical habits are for Zane,
who now is up to 102 points on the season.
Yeah, let's get him out of this league.
Joining the list of defenders in the O
that includes no one.
He's the only defenseman in the last 30 years
that's had 102 points in the season.
he's not doing as a 19-year-old, he's not doing as an overager.
This is impressive stuff.
And yes, he's too good for this league.
Get him out of that league.
Please somehow, some way, get him the hell out of that league.
Speaking of which, on Saturday night in Medicine Hat,
a seven point night, hat trick, four helpers for Gavin McKenna.
McKenna quite good.
Yeah, and I don't know what you do.
I could tell you what to do.
Be really bad next year.
Oh, there's that.
That didn't go for Welf in Buffalo.
I was going to say, then you got to win a lottery.
Just be bad once, maybe.
But, man, the goalie's probably too good.
Golly's too good.
Golly's too good.
Just getting screwed again.
You know what, though?
This team can draft.
In fact, I recall when one GM said,
I think we got the best player in the entire draft class.
That man's name was Mark Jankowski.
He has scored in four consecutive shots
since arriving in Carolina, and they love him.
The big Jenkowski has arrived.
What's that headline say?
This was a Dundas hockey star could be the quote,
best player of the 2012 draft.
I don't want to necessarily ask you to pull up the 12 draft,
but it's probably too late.
It's too late now.
Geez, I mean, who said that?
Jay Feaster, the GM.
Oh, my goodness.
Jay, just less is more, man.
You can really like a guy, but you don't have to.
And then Wise Broad was coming in with the Joe Newindyke comps.
Like, guys, don't make it harder than it already is.
Who it won that year?
Yakopov.
Okay, better than Yakopov.
I'll take that.
Number two.
Ryan Murray.
That's, yeah, okay.
Alex Galchena.
Gone.
Griffin Reinhardt.
Duster.
Morgan Riley.
Not as good as Morgan.
Hompos.
Hompos is better.
Trubes.
Trubba better, Dumba better.
Philip Forsberg?
Not even close.
Tom Wilson.
Hurtle.
Okay, that's enough.
Andre Vasselovsky.
No, you're just taking a shovel to feaster.
I like Jay.
Yeah, he hasn't done anything publicly since then, eh?
Something rubbed him the wrong way.
No.
No.
Well, yeah, I mean, has not done media?
Yes, he was.
It was a tough departure, I believe.
Some hurt feelings.
I believe so.
I mean, it's natural.
Public, pretty, you know, it's kind of a flogging you take when you're being let go.
Generally, it's not because this guy's done such a great job, but we're going in a different direction.
That's in media.
When you do a good job and you get a big.
Salaries then you fire you. Not in pro sports.
Good. Tonight's games, let's look at the slate. What do we got? What do we got? What do we got?
Pretty decent little group. Bruins and Sabres just has an old Adams division feel to me.
I like that one. Philly, I don't know what you are. You're just the most flamesy team of the east.
Tampa's quite good. Devil's Blue Jackets is interesting. Devils have been doing it without Jack Hughes of late.
Kind of we're watching for them to sink. They've done exactly the opposite.
And the blue jackets suddenly are chasing now with the Rangers.
in that wild card two.
And the nightcap tonight, Kings, who can move back ahead of the Oilers.
They've got a couple games in hand against a Minnesota team that's doing it without Caprizo for a long time now.
No Joel Erickson Eck, who got hurt right before I believe Four Nations, or is either in Four Nations.
Either way, it hasn't been easy for the Wilderley, but that night game is probably your best bet.
Although Columbus Jersey's got some potential.
No, it's the Kings and Wild.
Thank you.
Yeah.
You were right.
We were showing you the giant things in small towns in the prairies.
Right. Like monuments or...
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like the huge...
You missed Friday.
The largest northern pike.
Ah.
And it had just by chance the five diamonds lure, it was Jason.
Full circle.
That's how it comes together.
Today we take you to Beaver Lodge, Alberta.
How do you like a huge beaver, Dean?
Well, that's one of the biggest I've seen.
Beaver Lodge, home of the Blades.
They played in the Northwest Junior Hockey League, a junior B league.
I actually called Games there.
Well, hello, Beaver Lodge.
Yeah.
It's good looking
monument.
There it is.
This has got some CBC feel to us.
Send us in your small town monument
and we'll get it on the show.
I was just told Trowshoe has the world's largest golf tea.
So you know what's coming on tomorrow's show.
What town is it?
Troshue.
Trowshoe.
Not to be confused of Torrington.
That's in Bender's neck of the woods.
Trowshoe and Torrington?
Not three hills.
It's close.
Not two hills.
Not two hills.
Different.
Three?
Not two.
Two hills.
assholes, three hills.
Great guys.
How old was, when was Wally's birthday?
80 years old, Wally Bender.
Normal sized human apparently.
Yeah, he is.
Unbelievable story.
It makes you, you know what?
It makes you think, and then just don't bring it up.
Nope.
Because it can only get awkward.
Great potato farmer, changing this out.
Unbelievable potato farmer.
Unbelievable guy.
Yeah.
Which is weird because John's such a dick.
We'll move.
Something to get you in a better mood because it's probably you, not John.
You ever seen a dog playing net?
Because I think you're going to need this outfit for one of your poochies.
It's pretty good.
Oh, look at this.
Yeah.
You got the mask.
No, it's in the middle of the mass.
Oh, look at his tail wagons.
He's so happy.
Oh, he's so happy.
Look at him.
Yeah, get ready.
Get in the ready position.
Get his angles here.
Yeah.
Checking us.
Yeah.
You're losing your net.
Pochek.
Poe check.
Poe check.
What is this necessary?
Multi production value here.
There you go.
Yeah, that's Kujo.
Very good.
And finally, we have,
I believe the shoveler had this made,
but Rhett was supposed to bring it today and forgot to tell her that
he's not here today.
But that is a listener baked cake.
Is it really?
I am told so.
It's the internet, Jack.
I don't know.
Like one of our, like here's the thing.
Someone would send it in and it's like already a post somewhere else.
It's literally like a photo from.
a pal of the show.
So either A, you fool us,
screw you or B, thanks for all you do.
That's a great submission today for the Pinder Report
on a St. Patrick's Day where the Guinness Hat slash cake,
that's a win.
Sure.
Unless they're a lion's sack and just stole the picture off the internet,
trying to take credit for it.
Well, then they screw them and give them a shovel.
That one or the other.
Village Honda.
That million dollar buying event is back.
You're probably thinking about it,
even if you're not thinking about it.
Well, maybe is there a charge?
chance to upgrade the vehicle. If I'm going to get top
dollar for my vehicle, my pre-owned,
maybe it makes sense.
Kilometers are starting to get. Maybe nice to get into
something different.
Do the complementary appraisal and then, it's like,
well, this makes total sense. We have to do it now.
Let Village Honda appraise your vehicle.
Complementary payment within 24 hours.
It's correct. Competitive trade and buy-in values.
Best of all, it's easy and stress-free.
You can begin the appraisal process online at VillageHonda.com.
Can't wait.
Can't say any more though.
Who's here hugging people?
Who's this guy?
Who's this guy?
Oh, it's him.
It's that guy.
You didn't know?
He's got bad eyes.
Do you think?
Yeah.
Really?
All those lasers.
I had no idea.
I had no idea.

Service.ca.
slash win.
So we are doing, uh, it's Barnburner live here.
We are a little under an hour, but not our way from that puck drop.
Okay.
At the, whatever it's called arena.
They just changed it.
Scotia Bank?
That's correct.
Is it?
Might be a place, but it's a Scotia Bank.
Scotiabank Arena.
Because the new one here's going to place.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Used to be the old ACC.
Between the Leafs and the flames.
It is Barnburner Live.
We are at Cowboys Casino.
John Bender is here.
He is.
We have a Bender arrival.
You've got two people in St. Pat's jerseys.
He's got a beer and a bottle of mustard.
So he's two-fisting.
Whoa.
Just.
Okay.
To each their own.
It's ketchup.
Why did I say mustard?
Well, there is a container in the,
back that I wasn't sure, but there is.
Yeah, he's got some, he's got some ketchup going.
He's got some fries on the way.
That's a thing right now, eh, with this whole, we can't buy US.
You can't be doing this.
So you've got to have Canadian ketchup.
I hope that we're all doing our part.
I'd rather be done with it all.
Like, could we do that part?
It'd be nice to move on, yeah.
Let's stop having to go through your fridge.
It's like, well, this is from Delaware.
I guess I have to throw that in the garbage.
Damn.
Anyway, Bender's here.
Arge, some leaf fans.
some great flames fans and we're here we're hanging out for the game tonight we'd like you to come on by as well
great to see that's right we've got some uh callback green beers regular beers happy hour till five
you got about 25 minutes or so to get down here but with it being the prime game maybe you don't
that's another thing you don't want to support you don't want to support the you know the massive
conglomerates like that i know yeah he liked that then maybe you just want to come here and we'll
watch it together as uh as a group of fine canadian
cheering on two Canadian teams.
One anthem game, nothing to boo.
Although our goalies of Yank and they're
producers of Yank.
Producers of Yank and they're best stars.
Marner's Canadian. He's leading them in scoring.
Yeah.
Yeah, we should just figure out how to coexist.
Jack, can we end these things to?
Yeah, I don't really get it.
So, yeah.
I don't think anyone it is, yeah. Weird.
Yeah, we'll figure it all.
All right.
Now, we are not going to start the candy bracket today, correct?
But we do need to talk about it because it is starting tomorrow.
The voting will open in the morning.
And it's, people are talking.
I was out of town.
All anybody could talk about was today.
So, Cowboys.
Hey, you guys are going to Cowboys Casino for the game.
And the candy bracket.
Back, baby.
The Barnburner Candy Bracket.
There you see at the top 16.
Still, it's like with anything else, the selection committee is taking some heat.
Yeah.
There's no wine gums.
Why are there no jujubes?
Why is it this?
It's almost as though people bitch a lot about stuff.
People find things to complain about and then complain about them.
Boy, today?
Yeah.
In today's society?
Just in today's society.
Yeah.
So look over that.
So there you see it.
We had the play in round.
The dino-sowers were victorious.
They have earned spot 50.
And they'll take on the,
fuzzy peaches in the opening
round and it'll be a tough one
for the blue whales. Yeah, they narrowly
got through the playing around. They'll be feeling
good but then they look up and they see their opponent.
I'm trying to think like it was
Moby Dick, was that
what was the Moby Dick story?
It's a blue whale. Do you have blue whale?
Yeah. Didn't end all for the whale though, right?
Was Moby Dick the guy in the whale or isn't that the name of the whale?
Because there's a story
about where the guy goes out fishing.
That's the old man in the sea. Is that the old man in the sea?
He finally catches the massive fish.
Yeah, and he's burning in town.
He can't wait to bring it in the town.
He's going to be a hero.
Stinking sharks.
You know what?
That's all we're going to say.
No spoiler alerts.
But he does catch the fish or mammal, whatever it is.
It is a mammal, yeah.
So maybe you just skim and pick it up from there.
We've saved you.
It's cold notes.
You can take the test now.
Either way, the blue whales have got the cola bottles.
The cola bottles, the defending champions from the time about five years ago,
we did it on the old show.
And we were stunned, we were surprised, we didn't think there was any way.
They've earned the ranking now.
Number one.
We have got, I can't read, two, where's there twos?
Where's the two seed?
Top right, you already talked about dinosaurs.
Okay, thank you.
Yeah, right.
You'd be bottom right, top of that bracket, gummy bears against nerds.
That could go either way to me.
I agree.
The nerds could win.
It would be a massive upset statistically.
I don't know if I'm going to be floored.
Or maybe I'm underestimating the popular.
of the Gummy Bear.
And I feel like that was the range that the cola bottles came from to win the last tournament.
Yeah.
You get a little mole in that corner of the bracket.
You might be all right.
Jack,
I know you're there.
So we have any idea kind of what our demographic is?
I mean,
who are the people that are going to be voting?
Because I feel like if this is maybe a younger voting crowd that watch and listen to
Barnburn,
if that's who's going to be voting here,
maybe it's the nerds because I don't know.
Or because gummy bears,
you put them in your,
soft ice cream or your sundays and the other thing is it was more of the old standards that got
through against some up-and-comers in the playing round it isn't a young demo i mean airhead's young
i feel like the hightoes are newer than yeah yeah than the blue whales so i don't know it's it's
anyone's bracket the swedish berries versus cherry blasters i remember the cherry blasters had a
nice run in the in the first candy bracket that we did
They did.
Will it be enough?
And it's a tough first-round matchup.
Because I feel like even if you don't like Swedish berries, you don't hate them.
I don't know that it's a hateable treat.
Oh.
They smell, you know, they smell nice and they, yeah, it's there, okay.
Or you love them.
Whereas it's a sour, it's a sour candy.
If you don't like sour.
Blasters are going to take it.
You're going to just default to the other side.
Skittles Twizzlers, bottom left of your bracket.
That's an intriguing one to me to.
like movie theater specials.
Skittles does have a bit of a,
they're sizing for the,
the glass shoe here, I think.
You think?
I really do.
I just think,
you know,
you got Marciaun Lynch,
you've got,
you know,
all the flames fans.
Right.
We're bringing Skittles to the dome
after, you know,
the Johnny Godrope tragedy with another.
Skittles might have a little helium here.
We did with the selection committee.
I know there were a couple that left them off.
They're 16.
All together.
Just defiant against the Skittal.
You know what?
The fans will vote.
This is,
the selection committee has their MO.
Try,
just try your hardest to make a fair bracket.
And then the voters take control.
And then the Twizzlers.
Jack,
if you had to,
if you were,
if you had to guess,
512,
that's always a big upset
in bracketology.
Mm-hmm.
What,
how do you see that one going?
I think Skittles destroys them.
Okay.
Wow.
Sway in the audience.
You might have Skittles on Beth 365.
He might, yeah.
Wide range markets.
Insider trading.
Sour Patch Kids versus Mike and Ike, two very different candies.
I don't, Mike and I don't get.
I mean, really?
I just think this is going to be an absolute slaughterjack.
I mean, I think that's one where the committee had their head up the rear end.
I don't want to mince words here.
I don't, you've yet to establish a point as to walk.
Well, they're around, but they're nobody's favorite.
Well, they're an 11 seed.
Everyone else in the bracket, you're like, I know people that swear by those things.
I feel like Mike and Ike is just like the Utah Hockey Club hanging around like a bad fart.
Have you ever bought a Mike?
Have you ever had?
I was going to say, maybe at a movie theater in the 90s.
This sounds like someone who's not had Mike and Ikes in a while.
I need to take.
I haven't either.
I maybe bought them once.
But it just, they're not bad, but I just, you're going to be running up against people who,
their favorite candy ever is sour patch kids i think they're in tough that's a tough pull it is and
they're 11 c to be fair 11 c they lose it's not an upset uh the gummy where is the sour
soothers which is a bit generic against starburst which is i mean it's a taffy type of candy
it's a soft chew there again if you if that's not your deal i i i fear for starburst um yeah
and then on the other side the eight nine jolly rancher first
versus nibs, two very different, two very different treats.
One is a hard, individually wrapped sucker of a treat.
With many different flavors.
And the nib, it is one flavor.
It is cherry.
Steady Eddie.
It is, you know, it set your watch to the nib, can't you?
Yeah.
So if you had to pick, if you had to bet three, six, five this thing for, for an upset or for,
I mean, I don't want to, like you say, sway the voters.
I don't want to set things up that way.
I had to pick an upset, a higher-seated one moving on.
Boy, that's tough.
I might actually go jolly ranchers over nibs because it's just so tight.
Eight, nine, it wouldn't really be an upset.
Maybe the cherry blasters get by the berries, Swedish berries.
Those would be where I'd name.
If I had to, that's where I would go is the Swedish berries.
despite being one of Canada's most, I mean, their sales,
one of the top selling candies in all of Canada,
despite all of that.
I get it.
Yeah.
I do wonder if just the sour cherry might send those Swedes back overseas.
Jack, do you have a Cinderella lined up on the same as you guys?
I think the...
Really?
Yeah, I think the berries are a little overrated.
Forcese's pretty high.
Jack, walk us through, put the board back up there now.
And, like, kind of give us a...
Pinders.
giving us his thoughts on Mike and Ikes.
You know, for me, as I go through this,
I mean, I don't know, nerds, I don't,
I'm just going to say it.
I don't get the cola bottles.
No one did.
It was a magical run.
Who did they beat in the final?
I think it was like Swedish berries or something like that.
It was an incredible.
Yeah, it was a huge one.
Yeah.
But that's Cinderella, you know?
Like, that's Darrell taking over the Kings in 2010.
And it was getting in as an 18.
seed and steamroll the competition they just had
are you saying we could have a 16
v1
I'm thinking
no
really that would be incredible whales
I don't think the whales
if it was the dinosaurs maybe
yeah Jack and I are big on the wildcard
entrance here like they're feeling good
they're coming in with some mo
I saw a bag of blue whales
they did not look very
appetizing
it just didn't look
We know where your vote is.
If you were going into a store's like, you know what?
I'm going to refresh my memory.
I'm going to get involved.
I'm buying in on the bracket.
I want to be part of this.
And you went and got into some,
they almost kind of had like a.
It's like foggy opaque.
Yeah.
Like a thing you want to like run them under a tap or something.
It's like,
are these been hanging out in some gravel?
Yeah.
Whereas the coal bottles,
chances are they're soft.
They're in that vacuum sealed bag.
Look, I love the blue whales.
I don't see the.
upset there. I love that call from Jack, though. That is his balls as it gets.
A 16 seed in round one. Yeah, I don't think. I think he's out to lunch.
He's hammered. Yeah. So what is it you don't get about the cola bottles? I just don't get. Yeah, how they won. I don't.
It was, you couldn't explain it. They were like a 13 seed, I think. When's the last time you had?
I've never had a long time. Yeah, exactly. I don't know. I don't have to do some research in studio.
Do you like cola? I was talking about this the other day. I liked the drink, but I don't like the candies. I don't like the cola slurpy.
Just the drink.
I got the drink, not the slurpy.
Yeah, the slurpy is, where do we find this guy?
Yeah, I don't know.
Either way, the voting will start tomorrow,
and it will run to the end of the week.
We will get from 16 down to 8.
The sweet 16 to the elite 8.
Yeah, or we should, yeah, so sweet you can use because it's candy.
Is there a, is there another word we could use for eight?
Eighth, eight, eight.
But that's about candy or like a,
I'll leave you to it.
Nope.
Cooked.
I'll leave you to it.
It is a presentation of our good buddies at Crystal Waters plumbing and heating.
I got to tell you, boom.
This is a conversation I had with Johnny Crystal Waters.
Johnny C.C.
Yeah.
That's not a C.
Yeah.
C.
I changed my life.
Come on.
That candy bracket.
When you guys were doing that candy bracket.
I was never the same and I decided I was going to start my own company and look at me now.
Come on.
It's something like that.
You making this up?
No, it was something like that.
That's pretty amazing.
It was maybe nothing like that, but I just, I seem to remember he knew he liked the candy
bracket and it was like, okay, we got to do it.
Crystal Waters plumbing and hitting your crystal clear choice for home comfort.
Call 403-219, 4100.
Check them out at crystal clear callagery.
And then he said he played the final four's seatings as his lottery number and he won the, it
It was incredible.
Yeah, it was unbelievable.
Yeah.
Is that what he told you?
Yeah.
Responsibly.
That'll change your life for sure.
And how about this one?
Handsome Dan's vacation rentals.
We've seen Handsome Dan.
He may have a brown bill on the game tonight for a Dustin World Win.
Oh, you know us play well, yeah.
Handsome Dan's vacation rentals,
specializing in vacation rentals on Vancouver Island,
Canadian owned and operated company,
all sorts of options for your next getaway,
private hot tubs.
It's your own place.
private saunas, oceanfront, lakefront, no rooms by the elevator here.
It's cheaper to book directly with handsome Dan.
Damn straight.
Then to go through one of those other, you know.
Third party.
Look at that.
You can save up to 15%.
Bam.
Port Renfrew.
You know what I would like to do.
I've not been to that part of the world.
I've been to BC numerous times, but I've not gone.
You've been on the island?
No.
Oh.
I would love to.
Take your breath.
Yeah.
Go whale watching.
And I'm a big surfer too, right?
That's right.
You can actually surf port.
Yeah.
It's just up the west coast from Victoria.
Okay.
Whereas Defino, you've got to go all the way up the island and jiggle all the way through
across some inlet.
Even though it's close to Victoria, it's like hours and hours and hours.
You've got to take this weird route.
What about camp?
Renfer's right there.
Okay.
Maybe that's what I'll look at.
Yeah.
And I can do that online at the website, hansomodans.ca.
And you like fishing, eh?
I do like fishing.
Handsome Dan's got you said.
Yeah.
Most cottages have a virtual tour available.
You can see the space that you're booking.
you don't want to be with riffraff.
You want your own place.
You don't want to stay at the Hostom International with Jack and his boys?
No, I do not want that.
Coming in at 3 a.m. totally blessed.
Zero. Zero interest in that.
Whatsoever.
Zero interest in that whatsoever.
Well, there you go.
I mean, what else can I tell you about this?
I mean, the Leafs have a lot of advantages.
They do, but I will say this.
The Leafs are not elite at anything this year.
We've seen this team have like the top power playing in the league.
It is not that this year.
It's not bad, but it's 10th.
You know, they score well at five on five.
They're a top seven team by even strength scoring.
But there's some warts here.
They allow a lot of shots.
They're bottom 10 in the league in that.
They're very mid in goals against and shots for just okay at home.
They're actually better on the road.
The goaltending had been so good for so long and it's kind of falling off of it.
just as scoring has dried up a touch of this group.
And I think that's why we're on this run
where they just look pretty man,
when you try to size them up against up Tampa and Florida
have looked the last couple weeks.
Old Dennis Hildeby.
The Hildebeast.
Oh, Dennis Hildebe.
You have too many of them green beers.
The old Hildebeest will come out and grab you.
Hey, there you are.
All right, man.
Yeah, he liked that.
He liked it a lot.
Sure, he did, yeah.
Yeah, I mean, it's, I don't know,
that they're getting better goaltending than what they had out of,
Matt Murray or
whatever they've trotted out there over
because wool kind of came on the scene
and yeah there's been some refras
so he stole ours has been fine
2.39 a 918
wool a 278 with a 905
those are better than
NH average guys better than what they've had
and for you look how much you're spent on those guys
that's that's efficient
but yeah it's not there's stars in that
again when when it comes down to it
it's like Marner
Matthews Nealander
how'd you do?
Did they have a night?
You're probably in trouble.
And if they didn't, they're going to take some heat.
It's the big three.
Jackie Boy, do we have those Eastern standings?
Yeah, one more time?
Because there's a lot of time left.
Wildcarts got a lot of action down there too.
I was just going to, and as we take a look at it,
I have a question for you.
Okay.
You asked me to pick a horse?
Are the senators in?
100%.
They're in.
They're playing so well.
Chuk has been a monster since he got back from Four Nations.
Allmark's actually given them consecutive starts that look good.
It's been a bit of a hurtbag his career, but he's dialed right now.
I think Dylan Cousins has been an awesome fit, better and quicker than you could have imagined.
And we hated that deal for Buffalo.
And I'm Norris will be fine there.
But like, that to me is a team just coming out of that long, long incubation.
And it's like, they're ready.
I watch them play.
They're ready.
I watched them play in the fall against the brink.
Rooms in one of the nastiest games all year.
Brawls, they're scoring late,
tying the game, winning an O.T.
They need a goal. Cichuk gets them a goal.
Stutzel is a star. Sanderson
on the back end, it's like, of course
they locked them up early. That's going to be a steal for the next
seven years. I think
they're here. I don't think they're even out of the top
three in that division. They've won
six straight, which I think
predates the deadline. I think they
had won a game or whatever
going into the deadline. And now
they completely roll. That edge,
like six points up on Montreal.
I don't think, whatever, Columbus, Montreal,
I don't think any of those teams are going to close that kind of gap on Ottawa.
I think they're in.
All the teams behind them, I just don't think they can look as good as Ottawa does right now.
It's not going to stay this good for Ottawa,
but their ceiling is just so high.
We looked at that roster and it's like, how are they not better?
How are they not better?
And finally this year, you're like, it's going to happen.
And it has.
It kind of felt like their year, didn't it?
Well, I'm kind of guilty, I guess, in the past.
past it's felt like they're here.
You go back as they got these young players.
It's not like Stutzla just arrived on the scene.
He's been a guy for a while and Norris and Kachuk.
They've been good players for a while.
Batherson has been a good player.
Giroux, it was a nice vet ad.
That was probably a year or two soon.
But then all of a sudden, ownership changes.
Steyos takes over.
They get a goalie.
That was a big thing last year.
They couldn't get a safe.
And the team that we have taken runs at for years.
Name that senator.
Who cares?
Do you know a senator fan?
I'm not saying they're the next Chicago Blackhawks,
but they've got a young, exciting team that those fans can be proud of.
And you know what?
That building's jumping.
That's been a library for a long time.
They're in.
What we're alluding to, they're totally bought in.
This is their year.
We want the Leafs.
It's none of this.
They believe that group can do it.
And you look at them, what are they missing?
If Olmark's going to be healthy, it's a really solid blue line.
They've got scoring up and down the lineup.
They've got some toughness.
And it's just like we watched Brady Kachuk at the Four Nations.
He's carried that into the regular season.
He's the closest thing to a modern day of Gingler right now.
I don't know that he's ever a 50 goal guy,
but like you need a big play.
You want a physically imposing player that can take over a game.
He's right there with anyone.
Like that's the thing with Matthew.
Matthew's so cerebral.
Yes.
You know, he's not a great skater and he's not going to,
I mean, he can hit you and hurt you in that.
but there's a different element to Brady.
He's the better score, power forward.
Yes.
Just that energy guy.
Yeah.
And Matthew's more of the basket under your skin, chirp, chirp, chirp,
Brady's going to hurt you with the shoulders.
Brady is too.
I mean, he's not afraid of getting in there,
but certainly he, uh,
you'd love to have him.
I feel like Matthews embodied like the personality of Keith,
whereas Brady's got the frame.
Like he's a significantly bigger, thicker human than his brother.
Yeah, he's a beast.
Yeah.
you take either to be fair
maybe collect the kichucks that'd be an idea
i can see i can see
look their home record
29 and 2
think it's fun driving out to canada when this team sucks no
they're doing it now it's the crowds have been
unreal
jealous of the senators
yeah i didn't think that day was not sure we'd see that day
i'm sure we'd see it and do you have a
does your heart
in any one of it's because the rangers are in there now
montreal Columbus is the feel good story no question
Detroit hasn't had a playoff hockey forever.
They had that new rink.
They've never played a playoff game in it.
And they had that heartbreaking game 81 or game 82 or last year where Torts pulled the goal.
It's totally screwed up.
And the ranges would be interesting because they just imagine you do all that work to win the league or home ice in the east.
And you get Shasturkin, Panarin, Zabinajad, Crider, Fox.
Like, it's all still there, right?
They haven't been good.
but that's a tough nut in round one.
Habs will be a fun story.
If you're asking me,
they're all better than the Islanders getting in
or the Bruins getting in.
But if I had to peg it,
I don't know.
Like,
I might just go with the vets in the blue shirts
because,
you know,
that's a President's trophy winner last year.
They didn't,
you know,
it's been a tough goal,
but they've been better in the new year.
I guess just from,
from a,
you know,
it's not even hard.
Just who do you,
who would you prefer,
who would you rather see?
I'm going to take Montreal.
all. It's just more fun when Montreal's in.
It just feels like there's always a chance for
some Cinderella run when they're there.
They might upset somebody. And for the Rangers
with all the ship that Chris Jerry pulled
this year, you can
take a president's trophy winner and then
miss the next season. Yeah. And you know what?
Give Columbus a lot of credit. Nobody had them
even close. This was supposed to be
another year picking in the top five.
And a lot of those young prospects
they've collected have all popped at the same time.
Kent Johnson, there's another good Kent.
Not a bad Kent. He's a great
Kent.
Really good Kent since the Monahan injury.
And the Russian line they've reunited, which I think is
Marchenko, Voronkov, and Chinikov.
And that's their top line.
All these young Russians, they drafted high that are starting to hit.
They're big, they're skilled.
And Werensky's having an incredible year.
Jack, how do you feel about it?
I know you're a penguins guy.
They're not going to get in there.
Is there anyone those mad for people?
Who do you hate?
I hate Pittsburgh right now.
Go look at the Penguins.
They've won four in a row.
and they need to be tanking.
Just so mad.
Jari comes back from the HL.
He looks like a star goalie all of a sudden.
I'm so mad, but they're going to do it again.
They're going to be right there at the end and then break my heart, just like last season.
Yeah, they've done that two years ago.
Was it two years ago?
They had to be Chicago in Game 82.
And they did it.
And the Panthers would have missed the playoffs.
Pittsburgh would have gone in and Panthers went all the way to the final and lost to Vegas in the final.
Crazy.
I think that was the biggest one.
I'd hate to see it, Jack.
That'd be terrible.
that'd be terrible.
Hey, Sid, if you could just ease up for maybe a month or two,
we could bring in a really good,
you know, Sid's not going to do it.
Sandy Crosby again.
And hey, look at the, I mean, it's only a few points with the Boston Bruins.
They've begun their tumble.
We're going to sell off at the deadline.
They're going to tumble down a little bit.
They changed a lot of that roster.
They changed a lot of that roster.
Do you know, they know, no one made more trades on deadline.
They said five different trades on deadline day.
And it was CLA,
to some guys.
Do we have the West?
You do the West?
Man, I would love to look at the West standings.
God, if I could look at the West Standings, I'm so happy.
The West Standings brought to you by Cowboys Casino,
here in the legendary sports bar.
Western culture.
That's right.
So there you have it.
Winnipeg just keeps finding ways to do it.
Dallas, Colorado, man.
We're going to see it.
round one, aren't we? I don't know if you saw any on Saturday, but
Dallas got up, Columbus or Colorado came roaring back in overtime.
What, McCar for the game winner, that will be fun.
Seven of that would be unbelievable. And Evanton, L.A., don't be fooled
by the points. L.A.'s got two games in hand, one point back.
Imagine the Oilers with this cup or bust year, with all the talent,
having to go on the road in round one.
It's, it's, um, it's entertaining.
You know what it is right now is,
don't even want to talk about it.
Because all I do is,
how things, oh, it's terrible to slide,
the oilers, this, that whole thing.
It's just kind of,
can I tell you what we did Friday?
I don't, I don't know what the deal is.
Can I tell you what happened Friday?
Well, I saw some stuff.
I mean, the Twitter sphere imploded in Edmonton,
and we just wanted to make sure that the word was getting out.
It wasn't our opinions.
No,
sharing the opinions of people that cover the team.
Yeah.
And they've probably won two games since.
So I'm kind of...
See?
That's what I'm saying.
If we could use our powers.
For good, not evil?
For good, not evil.
Yeah.
Amazing.
Wouldn't be here.
Harness this ability.
It might still be a Cowboys,
but I mean, not doing this.
Probably.
Maybe at that high rollers table.
Oh, yeah.
Poker room?
Yeah.
You know what I'd be doing?
I'd be feeling the felt.
Yes.
Ooh.
What's your game?
I was asking, Jack, poker player.
You know that about?
Jack. Oh, is that right? I still like
craps. Yeah. I like
shooting the old ice. Do you know the rules or do you just pretend to know the rules?
Yeah, it's, you know what? It's kind of one of those games. It's intimidating.
You just don't want seven, right? That's unless you do. Unless on, well, yeah, sometimes you do.
It's on the rollout. And then if you want to be a real Kent,
then you play the do not pass line and then you're looking for seven.
Jerks us. Everyone hates you at the table. That's right. Yeah. You go full heel.
you know who I noticed
that's called playing the Pinder line
right when the whole table hates you and you're just a jerk
yes who's playing the Pinder line
and the end of the day you're like which one of those
damn it that was fun who was that asshole
oh that fucker with all the chips at the end there
you bastard well everybody else at the table
like that you pay geez
I asked
RJ I said what's your favorite game said you know the
the ball game and I said what do you mean the ball game
like were you talking about baseball?
He's like, no, no, you know the one where you throw the ball?
The spinny ball?
And I'm like, what?
And he's like, and it spins.
And I'm like, oh, roulette.
The ball game.
Like, he can drink in the United States of America, that guy.
That's horrifying.
How is that?
He can rent a card.
He doesn't even know the name of the game.
The spinny ball game.
Was he not in Vegas with you?
Yes.
Well, with Ryan.
We were in Phoenix together.
Yeah, we were in Vegas.
That's right.
I tried to teach me.
trying to play Blackjack and I'm like, okay, so we have
Aces, we're splitting our Aces, now we're going to get some face cards like, 6, 5,
thank you, sir, sorry, 21. I was like, oh, god damn it.
I'm just one of the biggest heater yesterday.
Like three hours of trying to show Archer to play.
Boom, gone.
It's possible he could be one of those guys you don't want with you.
Have you ever seen the movie The Cooler?
I was just going to say.
He has a bit of William H. Macy.
He could be the cooler, but if you ever got in a heater, you hold tight.
Have you ever seen that movie, Jack?
William H. Macy plays a guy they call him the cooler.
He's hired by the casino because when,
never it's just his aura
it's just everybody loses
when he's around so the casino brings
him in it's like payroll table 13
is red hot send him down
he'll go and hang out at table 13 it's like
and um crowd seven
no darn gee oh geez
I can't believe the table just went cold
it's been red hot that could be stupid
RJ
that'd be a hell of an actor for that role too
I haven't seen the movie but well it makes me so you like
stuff oh what's this guy didn't he?
It feels like that could be like my role.
You're a bit of a cooler.
I got some cooler vibes, eh?
You do.
Everybody's having a good time until old Pat McRotch shows.
Oh, patty boy.
I will say this.
So when you're in Vegas, you're in great spirits.
I do love Vegas.
I never worry about you in Vegas.
Marta Loop, I worry about you.
I don't like Marta Loop.
Yeah.
Yeah, but you know what?
Who does?
He just like he gets off.
Business owners don't.
And he's just like,
Oh, God.
Where am I going to park today?
Yeah, no parking.
There's a shock.
Yeah.
It's all park over here.
Damn it.
Can I get a good, God, damn it from somewhere?
Oh, sure.
Let me see.
Because that's you and you see it.
God, damn it.
Yeah, right off Croucho.
Are we going into the studio today?
Yeah.
Oh, good.
Well.
First of a back-to-back, there's that.
Yep.
So if it goes.
This is going to be a ball here.
well. This place
is jammed. It's going to be a what night?
This is going to be great. Oh, yeah.
I'm not worried about us. I'm more worried about
I'm going to go. I'm not sure
about the
the people who are, you know, really thinking
two points coming out of this one.
But, you know, we've done this before. No, no, no. Those guys in the
St. Pat's jersey is there sure two points are
true. Yeah, they're feeling real good about themselves.
They feel really, really good.
Maybe you've got your jinxie pants on with your St.
Pat's colors. Well, like you say, we
powers for good
not evil powers for good not evil
did uh
I guess we never really did
the last on the Huska's nightmare
we kind of had a
a guess or a
what would make a good road trip
you've got four games here it's Toronto
it's the Rangers it's the Devils it's the Islander
let's call it three playoff teams I know the Rangers
are right there with a bunch of others but let's call it
three playoff teams and one team that sold
to the deadline that's actually playing well
if you did the same thing as the last trip and you
somehow came back with four, that would be a resounding success in my mind.
You just put the X under Toronto.
I put the X under Toronto.
I don't think they win tonight.
X is two points or what's that?
I think they...
X is zero.
Okay.
Yeah, I think they either get a point in New Jersey or win.
That's Markstrom.
Or from Markstrom-Vlodar.
Yeah, or flippy-floppy with the Rangers there.
Here's the thing.
If you beat the Islanders and you somehow eke out an emotional Markstrom revenge,
spot.
It doesn't matter how it's the first two of your 500.
Because I think the two toughest games, like,
remember, the New York game, they're not the best team, but the second half of a
back-to-back.
I don't like that.
But remember the last time they went on that road trip, it was Washington was
game one, and they won that one.
And we talked to what a way to start off the road trip.
It's the back-to-back.
I don't like what the range is.
And then they played Tampa and got the puppy-pooh comparison.
Tampa.
Yeah.
But then they went to Florida and.
puppy poo.
Yeah, it was puppy poo.
And then Carolina.
Then they turn around.
And then salvage it with a big win in Philly and a loser point in Dallas.
Yeah, that's right.
Yeah, yeah.
I don't know, man.
Like, they just don't quit.
And you admire that about them, even though you know in 10 years, you're like, man,
why didn't they just suck that year?
This kid in the top 10's really good.
He would look good in Flames Red.
Yeah.
But that's not what they're there to do.
They're pro athletes.
Huska is going to be judged by his win.
loss record.
I do give them credit, right?
You can say the way they have, the way they've played, whether or not they believe,
if they don't, then they are putting on a brave face because they're playing,
they're playing the balls off.
They believe, Matt.
They've got two games in hand, two points out.
Of course they believe.
That's better than the alternative.
Yes and no.
Although, you know, death spiral does do certain things, but I don't see, I don't see that.
Hey, hey, Jack, because I did miss the old,
for the intro.
So we'll do it again.
It's the super chat for the youth centers of Calgary.
We'll take the money that comes in on the super chat,
send it right over to them.
They will put it to good use.
And we will get your message, your comment, your thoughts on the show.
This is a good question from Ethan,
and I'll give some context.
You read it first.
Lord Ethan, Oversby, Wolf or Hellebuck on your heart ballot.
So the ballot, the heart voters, has to have five names.
So it's not saying you're a top one or two or three even.
So you've got your dry sidle there.
I think you probably have to have McKinnon.
Werenski's going to get some love for his monster season.
If Quinn Hughes is healthier, he's probably in there.
Hellebuck has to be in my mind if there's a top five.
Who am I missing?
Cooch is having another coochier, but it's not his best year.
I think it's dry sidel, McKinnon, Helibuck, Werenski.
Maybe Wolf does get some votes.
I mean, if this team somehow gets in,
that's going to change a lot of people's minds with their voting.
Because it's preposterous.
If you looked at this roster in September and said,
oh, yeah, that's a playoff team in the West.
They have to get in, though, right?
They do.
I do believe that.
It doesn't mean that Wolf was any less if they don't get in,
but it'll draw the attention that you need to get the votes elsewhere.
It's hard, though, because each year you can find somebody,
well, he's clearly the most valuable player to his team,
in that if you deleted him and just replaced them with someone average,
their fate is completely different than what it ends up being.
And you could argue that would be the case here.
But it's a pretty unique circumstance that if you were the lowest scoring team in the league and you got in,
yeah.
Like, let's be honest.
I think even the people that aren't paying attention to Wolf would have to be like,
whoa, I got to dig in on this.
It's hard to ignore McKinnon.
Dry-sidal McKinnon, Hullabuck-Worinsky, I think, are going to get,
lots of love. What happens with the
McDavid vote? It's not this
year. He's far and away the second
best player on his team this year. He's fourth
in league scoring. He's
the biggest name in the league.
He's almost 20 back of his teammate.
There will be some who will look at it
and say well he's still
yeah I have, it's not a
complete vote shift if you take dry
settle you don't vote for McDavid, I don't think,
is it? No, but it is MVP
so I think it hurts
more than it helps in a weird way.
And again, just trying to think of how those
The bar is so high, right?
Like if you watched the last six years of Connor McDavid,
it's a down here.
It's a great year for any other human earth that he's having,
but by his own standards,
this is a down year as weird as that sounds.
What about Sid?
He's very valuable, Jack.
He probably deserves smart.
Yeah.
No.
Not this year.
All right.
Thanks for the question.
Yeah, I was his name again?
Oferbees.
Ethan Overspeed is.
I believe that's who it was.
Oh, there's Ethan.
Thanks for the two bucks.
Is that all we got today is two bucks?
Come on, fellas.
Poor, poor kids today.
Thought maybe we'd have a little bit more.
Look at all the people.
So many people watching between all the platforms combined.
Is that right?
Like a thousand people.
Just can't find a way.
I wonder if we just hang out for a little bit,
if maybe somebody might get off.
Is there a chance to hit the skids at all here?
Is this team just going to clap,
excuse me,
scrap and claw and pick up points here?
Well, the thing of it is,
because of the injury.
Yeah.
It just might be out of their hands.
They're already so
starved to get offense.
And not that Backland does that,
but then just guys out of position,
they're already struggling.
The goal is, unless Wolf starts scoring,
I do wonder if
that'll help,
MVP case.
Yeah.
If he does.
Yeah.
If he starts putting some votes.
He's got to put up some points here.
Like Calder's over.
If he gets the 10 goals, Wolf.
Yeah.
But I,
I'm inclined to say that no,
they're going to,
you know.
Peter out a bit.
They'll Peter out,
but not,
they don't think they're going to bottom right out.
Three points from a top 10 pick.
But again,
the teams chasing aren't great teams.
It's not like like,
like what.
Seattle's going to win five in a row and pass here,
right?
How would you classify two,
three and three in their last eight?
What is it?
Right?
What is so is that it's two wins,
but there's three extra points on the back end.
If you watch those eight games,
you're like not in the same class as Florida,
not in the same class as Tampa,
not in the same class as Carolina,
fought hard,
not good enough against Dallas,
not in the same class as Colorado.
But there they are,
500,
yeah,
is,
you know,
like it's,
it's impressive.
And I know,
like,
I'm seeing a lot of heat on Huska.
Like,
oh,
he's coaching the wrong way.
It's like,
what were you,
expectations for this group. The only way he can coach is to make this low event hockey. Huska
opening things up and trading chances of the teams. They're no one to where they are in the
standings. And like if he was in on the tank, great. But like he's got a resume. He wants to coach
for a living. He's not going to be like, hey, I sure got you that high draft pick when he's sitting
on his couch watching games rest of his life. He's coaching win. I often feel you put on your
Huska hat. Yes. Like the other night when it's shots are a hundred to not many. Yeah.
what a helpless feeling.
Yeah.
Come on, guys.
Fellas, come on, let's really try and put pucks on net, man.
Let's put some pucks on net.
What do you say?
Wednesday night, they're up three, two, and the third against Vancouver,
and Vancouver goes on an absolute run.
I just don't get this like, well, Huska went down the bench and told all the guys
stopped trying to get offense.
Like, no.
Yeah.
No, I get that, you know, they're comfy up one, and they're going to play it safe.
but that's not when a coach is like,
hey now, if you can fly the zone, maybe we'll get it.
No, it's like play tight.
And it's like all the teams you thought were better than the flames
when we looked at these rosters in September,
those aren't the teams you want to trade chances with when you're up one.
It sucks.
It's just, it's a bad roster with a great goalie,
and they're working their tails off.
And like, this is what it is.
Yep, low event hockey due to the coach and structure.
This is peak available for this group.
I totally agree with that.
And I don't know, is that a shot?
No, it's what it's been given.
You would do the same thing.
If you were the coach and you knew.
Yeah.
If we're going to get you two to three a night, what are you going to do?
How are you going to play?
You can trade chances?
There's only one way to do it.
And it's like, okay, you're the chef in the kitchen.
Hey, you know, no eggs here.
The meats over and the milk's gone.
Like, he can only make the meal with the ingredients he's got.
We've got some cabbage.
He's not muting some 50 goal guy.
He hasn't turned a dynamic score into a checker here.
Steak and shrimp or salads.
It's going to be salads, man.
Like, it's a lot of boress here.
You're going to need to enjoy your salads here for a bit.
He's making coleslaw.
That's all they have.
It's all we got.
It's all they got.
Well, we would invite you to come down.
It is almost standing room only here.
It's almost standing room only.
But that doesn't mean don't come down.
We'll make room for you.
There is, I saw that,
boys are having some wings back there.
Are those dry ribs, do you think?
Dry ribs?
I wonder what he's going with back there.
He's not too worried about us right now.
No, he's not.
And you know what?
Big screens behind us.
He's eating it like somebody's going to steal it on.
Like it's yours.
You paid for it.
He's eating like,
take your time.
There's not a time limit.
They're not about to close the doors and kick you out.
They don't take it if it's not done in five minutes?
Oh, man.
Look at it.
He's got a little side dim.
of finger tips at his own peril.
If those wings are done before the dip,
just put your hands in there.
He's doing some heavy dipping over there.
Doesn't know we're talking about it.
It's all right, though.
No, they got some food coming out of the kitchen.
They got the green beer.
They got regular beer.
That's what, you know, whatever you want to do.
If you're into St. Paddies or you're not,
come on down.
We're hanging out.
We're watching the game.
It's a 5.30 starts.
They're just moments away now for puck drop between the flames and the Leafs on Pran.
It's a living ball.
It is.
if whichever GM wins gets the power bomb the other through a table I think
how do people feel about uh
sure living I don't know I think the
you know I think there was a lot of really good moves I think there was also a lot of
it was just a little too early for that type of move but I think also that the owner if
you're close is going to like speed this up of it speed this up of it like Travis
Hamannick speed it up of it Brower speed it up of it like it wasn't a super super
patient build because I don't think that was
that wasn't the mandate he was given.
So we want to make the playoff. How could you do this?
Okay. Well, if the billionaires in your ear
saying we got to go, then you got to go.
We need some quality depth on the back end
character guys. Derek England, sign them.
It's a lot of money. Yeah, it's probably too much, but
you know, we spend the cap and whatever.
Get Travis Hammock.
It gives us what, Dougie Hamilton
and Hamannick and GEO on the back end.
Oh, it'll be great. Go get Cadre.
Oh, we'll have Backland and
look at our depth down the
middle. He, I mean, he goes for it. It's just that sometimes it doesn't exactly work out.
Yeah, and a lot of the movies did, but I mean, there's also some pretty heavy swings and misses.
And I don't think he's a bad GM. It's also not the greatest run of transactions in franchise
history either. It's, it's like most GMs in the league. When you look, it's a pretty mixed bag.
Like, everyone thought Stevie Y was a savant when he left Tampa. And now everyone thinks he's dumb.
I mean, the truth's in the middle. Yeah. I, I just wonder if there's,
if there is like do people hate brad for living what i can't believe brad did this to our team look
what's left and then he leaves down i don't know what how fans really feel about this as we sit
back and look at it here now nonetheless oh hey who hey hang on it's super chat we get the
uh the money it's super chat you put a little money down in the chat we'll take it's the us
and it's a comment we'll throw it on there you ever should be ten dollars out of what look at
Ethan.
He's now in for 12.
We're out of boy.
Oh,
spicy enough.
Jack Adams picks.
Well,
there's one.
There's only one.
You could go one name,
no finalists.
It's Spencer Carveries to lose.
It sure feels that way.
It's not close.
I know Arneal's done a great job in Winnipeg,
but nobody.
I mean,
nobody thought the caps would be tops in the east.
He,
some great GMing there as well,
but Spencer Carbore has been unbelievable.
And somehow,
some way,
he threaded the needle of,
let OV eat and be really good.
Yeah.
It's wild.
And really good.
Yes.
Like tops in the east by how many points?
Nine?
That's good.
Ten point lead?
Jeez.
The senators are a good story.
Yep,
but it's not to the same tune.
It's Winnipeg in Washington,
but I just think Carberry is the bigger surprise.
Winnipeg being good in the regular season is not terribly surprising.
Two years ago they were in first in the east in the new year.
It's a good roster.
They're going to have to make Kay in the postseason for the opinions about the Jets to change.
Everyone knows they can be good in the regular scene.
Well, Spencer.
Spencer.
You know where they found him?
On the bench of the team, the flames are playing tonight.
Yeah, he was there.
Yeah.
But that's, I mean,
Huska's a H.L.
Also on his bench, you're Mitch Love.
That's right.
Guy that was here.
Yeah.
People like him, too.
So those are our Jack Adam.
That was kind of, you know what, in fairness,
not a lot.
I agree with you.
And I don't think it's close.
so that's a hard one.
Yeah, I mean, I don't even know where else you would go.
I'm sure what kind of hot debate we would put together there over the coach of the year.
Columbus is a nice story with Dean Eveson, but again, like, they might not even make it.
Oh, yeah.
If Huska somehow got this group in, that would garner some interest.
But again, it's, it's carberries.
Yeah.
Just like last year, remember in November?
Like, Tocotot's already won this thing.
And he had.
They played like 500 from that point on.
It was over.
Yeah.
We've had a Joel auto sighting.
No.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
God, it looks good.
Look at them.
God.
And so you're saying this young man played in the NHO?
Did he retire last year?
No, like 25 years, 30 years.
It's incredible.
That's incredible.
Look at old 2-9.
I could use him right now.
Oh, the Midgee State.
Yeah.
All those people say Americans don't want to come to Calgary.
That's right.
He's still here.
Connie's still here.
What an export.
What an export.
What an import.
You know.
Both.
That way.
Oh, geez.
What's up?
Well, I don't know.
Breaking news?
Well, it's just a boomer from the bottom of my heart.
I say this, and it is true.
F, Bradger Living.
He set this team back six years.
Ooh, Ken.
Jeez.
Not really in the spirit of St. Patty's Day.
Here's kind of the thing.
People will call the Kitchuk trade, the worst trade of his tenor.
You got weaker at top pair guy.
You got a guy.
You got a 150 points and you got a first round.
What?
Yeah.
Like, that's a really nice return.
Now, you didn't know Hewardow was going to do that.
So, okay, maybe you should have known a little more of that.
But, I mean, McKenzie Wieger is one of the best three players on this team.
You say, watch to him.
And a first rounder as well.
When you knew the deal had to happen.
It was more than you thought.
Well, there's a D, a really good forward and a first, okay.
But then there was the signing.
Could he have signed Kachuk?
I don't know.
I've heard.
I still feel like this is a guy who he is where he wants to be.
This is a better spot for him.
This is what he wanted.
But I'll say this.
It's been a long time of Brendan Chanahan there,
and they have one playoff victory in terms of rounds they've gotten through in nine years.
This is not a patience spot for him.
You're going to burn their boats if he asked.
Nine.
There we go.
Thank you.
Let's want about that.
Let's one more, John.
him and RJ giggling away over here.
Arj's got his Gindler hat on tonight, the retirement night.
That's good looking.
That's nice.
That's good for him.
That's real good for him.
Is he fine, this guy?
I think so.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think so.
Well, we're getting down to it.
This is, it's a collection.
This is our people.
Yeah.
All of a sudden, we fit in with our garb.
We don't look so crazy anymore.
Pretty tiny.
Yeah.
It is St. Patty's Day.
It's a Plains game day.
and we're heading our way up to puck drop.
It's been Barnburner live here at Cowboys Casino.
Lots of getting left.
Two till five is happy hour.
They got the,
bong,
boom,
play the piano.
You know,
open late.
It's going to be coming up here.
Wasn't it?
It's like,
I got nothing going on this afternoon.
Yeah,
you do,
because there's matinee baseball
and there's the felt
and there's the restaurant
and look at these comfy recliners.
You can play the ball game.
The spinny ball game?
The spinny ball game.
The spinny ball game is.
I haven't seen that one.
That's right.
But great partners.
pumped to be here and we have another
synergy, another event.
Partnership. Partnership coming down the pipe with the good folks at
Cowboys Casino that we'll be announcing in
the very near future, let's call it that. Looking forward to that very much.
But we are here still time.
You're sitting at the office right now. Why drive home? Oh, traffic. It's so terrible.
Yeah. You know, be safe. Come to Cowboys.
Cowboys Casino. You know where it is.
It's like stand. Come on. Tell people.
did i play the thing yeah and i put that thing there it is see you buddies see patty
