Starting point is 00:00:13 Hot start. We're at Tuesday. Oh, pre-show. Let's get right into it, Dean. Let's go. Let's get to the important stuff. All right, bet 365, game props, player props, totals, the money line, proud sponsors of the program. I assume they're proud sponsors. We're proud to have them as sponsors.
Starting point is 00:00:27 That's probably the way it is. If they saw our NFL bets, they'd be very happy because we've done well. Whatever your bet is, it's never ordinary at bet 365. Download the app, get in in the game, bet 365. Super Chat. We have got the, as we go live today. on the show, YouTube allows you to make comments. And with the comments, if you put a little money with it,
Starting point is 00:00:48 a little donation, we'll get it to the EU centers of gallery. Can you ask a question too? I suppose you could, yeah. We're looking for a big day today, too. Yeah, it's pretty dry. There's no news around. We're talking about it. Doug days is September.
Starting point is 00:00:59 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, nothing going on. Dean didn't want to work. Opening statements for McLeod law, lawyers of the year, litigators of the year. The lot. Do they deal with libel? Is libel a thing? What about slander?
Starting point is 00:01:12 Slander. Misinformation. Reckless. Reckless false information. Blatent lies. Just complete fabrication. What's defamation? Is that the same?
Starting point is 00:01:26 It's probably too late to grab the actual video. We probably should have done that from yesterday. But maybe it's best to just not air it again to create more confusion. Well, let's just rate the wrong because it's the biggest news of the day. Huge work being done on Facebook, apparently. There's an investigation on going. McLeod Law. It's good to have friends that are in your city that happen to be the best of what they do.
Starting point is 00:01:53 MacLeod-dashlaw.com opening statements. Yes. So yesterday's show. Maybe we're a little rusty. We've had some time off in the summer. No, I made a special point of doing my rounds on this because I actually had, I missed a turn. So I had to do a couple loops. Went around it around.
Starting point is 00:02:09 So yesterday, among other things that we talked about, We got talking, somehow, I guess we were talking about food. That's weird. I never happened. Because I went and got guacamole. Right. Chongos. You went to Chongos at the farmer's market, which was by, is that old.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Blackfoot there. Yeah, I'm black pot of my black foot. I would like to go back and see who brought it up first. He brought it up and then I confirmed his false allegation. And you were. I believe I did bring it up. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:35 And this, because I'm like, oh, yeah, that's, I agree. I noticed the same thing. And we all. And we always agree. Well. Yeah, what's on Blackfoot? One of the greatest wing joints in Calgary. Yeah, if not.
Starting point is 00:02:49 If not the greatest one of the greatest for shizzle. Many times voted the number one place in Calgary for wings. I have amazed people with my eating ability at this said shop. First time I've ever seen ready wings. People come out from out of town. You take them, they're like, these wings are, yeah. Yeah, it's phenomenal. It's really great.
Starting point is 00:03:10 And actually, what's worse is, we have some ties to it. Yes. When they opened, they decided to buy sponsorship on our morning show on the radio. Hell yeah. These are peeps.
Starting point is 00:03:26 We've had them do. Yes. Cater events. They have catered. Yes. They have been involved in events that we've done. They're delicious.
Starting point is 00:03:34 We're not connected to another wing place more in the past than we have been with mug shots. Our pals. Yes. Jack, what did you notice when the show ended yesterday?
Starting point is 00:03:51 Well, yes, no, but lay it out. You, well, I drove, I went to the chongos for guacamole. And the mango salsa, which is phenomenal, by the way. Don't get lost. Absolutely. And that is right by mugshots, the greatest wing joined in Calgary. Ogden, Blackfoot, right at the bottom. But it's tucked.
Starting point is 00:04:13 in back there. And I drove by there six to eight weeks ago. It was, uh, country thunder. I had to drop someone off down at country thunder hitting. And so I came out that way and blah, blah, blah, blah, I'm like, where's muck shots? Where to go? The sign's gone. No mug shots, mug shots.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Now, did they have a sign? Are we sure? Then I was there on, I was there on Saturday. And I drove by and I made a special point to confirm in my brain because I love. the wings and mugshots it saddened me to see or not see the sign and so my conclusion being the detective that i am yeah mug shot shut the f down mug shots is gone mcotch is gone i'm shot down and i was like inspector cluso thought that uh they were shut down and i was like yeah i drove by there too my sidekick's gone sidekick bobby yeah who's the is there
Starting point is 00:05:07 like an like i'm inspector well i don't know if you said sign but you were like yeah it's it's it's it's done it's gone. It's closed. Because I did the same thing. I drove by the other day. I was like, what I had to go to East Crochall's Clinton or something. I'm like, I haven't been over here in ages. Where's mugshot? And I didn't see it. And I believe I showed some shock. Because I said, you're like, what? I was there about a month, maybe two months ago.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Like I was just there, not that long ago that it would be shut down as surprising. And oh yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I'm sorry to report to you. Calgary institutions. We did. We did our homework. Two versus. one. I believe you had said they ran out. There's no more chickens. I said,
Starting point is 00:05:46 you said, why do they go to business? They're out of chickens. There's no more birds. All the birds are gone. Avian flu. Well, comes to our attention. It's hurt. Might not. It hurts. It hurts.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Yesterday it was brought to our attention that social media came alive. From the official Facebook account of mugshot sports bar and grill, quote, it has been brought. Not to our attention that this morning on Barnburner podcast,
Starting point is 00:06:16 Brett Warner and Boomer, we're talking about how we have closed and that our business is, quote, no more. Shoot. End quote. Not sure where this information came from, but it is not accurate. And we would appreciate if everyone disregarded the statement. We are currently investigating where this information came from.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Thank you, Charlene, Clint, and Allie. So just to recap, Rhett Warner and Boomer. That's not professional. That's how it always goes. that is why did you say Troy Brower sucks only 100% of the time do I get looped in to erroneous statements when sometimes I've had nothing to do I don't know if they were to investigate where this started
Starting point is 00:06:57 that's where it started at Chongos didn't you listen it started with the mango sauce in the neighborhood and he couldn't see the sign that he thinks once existed there's only one way now I have a theory and maybe this is just more libel slander just minors direction. Yeah. I think like now that you say sign, there's like a weird little lot that sort of used to be like parked cars. And I think that could have been where the sign was. There's a building there now. I used to think you could be able to see mugshots from that overpass turnaround
Starting point is 00:07:26 if you're going like connecting onto Blackfoot at Ogden there. And you can't now. Well, you drove by and I drove by and we can see it. I literally was like, geez, that's, regardless. You know what's great about that area? If people are familiar with the city, you're coming down a hill. It's kind of tight two lanes. It's kind of tight two lanes. and you're turning. But there's no merge when you turn. And I'm just trying to think of how much time you would have had to really assess the situation, to really stop and peer and look, it would be about one of these.
Starting point is 00:07:55 Oh. That would be your D. From Blackfoot, yes. From Blackfoot, yes. But coming from the market, what he's talking about, you come over Blackfoot. The whole time.
Starting point is 00:08:05 Is that left turn to merge on Blackfoot North? That's where he used to be able to see it from. There's no sense arguing about this. I don't know. You're trying to defend the fact that you were completely like out to lunch on it. We're completely out of it. Well, I mean, from where if the building has not moved. Correct. The parking lot is still there. I parked in the same spot. I've always parked. It's like nothing has changed except you guys are idiots. I think you owe them apology, Dean. I do.
Starting point is 00:08:37 I'm willing. One shot on the long arm gentleman to my left. I'm willing to accept responsibility. I did not see. the sign. I'm not hiding from it. You could go back and watch the tape. There's tape. And I'm Kyle. I almost GDed it. I'm damn happy they aren't closed. Yeah, you are.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Damn happy. So glad they're back in business. Kidding me? Reopening. When are they having? When's the grand reopening? We should go there for the grand reopening. Charlene. We are bringing a crew. We are so sorry. We're going to do a show. For your grand reopening, we'd be happy to come down and we'll even pay for them.
Starting point is 00:09:14 How about us? How about it? I'm happy to pay for. Yeah. And Jack's never been there. We should take Jack. We should take Jack for a Pittsburgh Steelers game. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:09:24 I'd say bring your friends, but your friends are losers. Don't bring them. Just us. I'm going. And if anyone's craven wings, what's today? Today's wing day. That's wing day. Mugshots, 2808, Ogden Road, Southeast.
Starting point is 00:09:41 Still at their original location. That's the new location? The same place they've always been. Okay. Do they have a new sign? Shush. 403, 264, 44, 41. That address, once again,
Starting point is 00:09:55 2808, Ogden Road, southeast Calgary. Wednesdays are their wing days. So that's tomorrow. Best wings in the league. Correct. Oh, Jackie? We're going, right? I'm always in for wings tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Come on. Definitely. Let's do it. Why not? We'll go in. We'll have big laugh for Charlene and the gang. I don't know if they'll be laugh, but you guys pissed a lot of people off yesterday, by the way. Well,
Starting point is 00:10:20 I was getting lamb-based on my private messages. I didn't need no social- I didn't need no social media. I didn't think we talked about the Oilers. I had friends and family hit me over the hand and hammers. I had friends texting me about it. Well, what? About the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:10:34 The wing thing? Yes. And I did, I must have missed this entire conversation. I was looking at Steelers news or something. Well, here's the thing. If you knew what mugshots is, you would be upset as well.
Starting point is 00:10:45 It's an institution. It would be a major blow. Well, that's why we brought it up because we were upset. Everyone's acting like this was something we're, I've had a vendetta against the greatest wing shop in Calgary. How hard would it be, Jack, to grab from yesterday? That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:11:02 I don't know when, when was this? Was it early in the show? I can try and skim through. Mugshots is investigating. They'll get you the touch. I was just nowhere else this gets started. Don't we have people that do this?
Starting point is 00:11:13 we were talking about that after the show yes there's all kinds have people that do what find stuff and help us out yeah there's no this is it i thought i could do that right here's the thing there's four of us and you don't do anything so there's three of us and when you do when you guys and then you get shit wrong so that's where we're at well you're amazing we get anything right just be careful that's a formula for a wildly successful podcast i'll have you know i can't wait till we dig into this friggin wolf contract see how there's other swings and miss as we get on this other news today i don't know I have one final question. Is this a Peter Klein or a Shane King or is it another layer that we're going to. I think we should take them with us when we go. I think it's a good idea. Yeah, we can't, we have a meeting. I'll listen, boys, I'll do the talking.
Starting point is 00:11:54 You just eat. Fine by me. What are you going with? Dill pickle. Dean always gets a dill pickle. I'm a Dill pickle soy sensation are my two. My two go to. And then they've got like three or four levels of hot, don't they?
Starting point is 00:12:08 Then they've got the, uh, the sweet chili heat. the hot honey hot uh and yeah the dill pickle it's the dusting with the actual sauteed pickles yeah damn it's so good okay so grand reopening tomorrow see you there today man they're open today ryan okay that's great bumped it up a day yeah all right well that's that thank you mclebop or see you buddies we could just well jack so when i was when i was living in northern saskatchewan i lived between two drunkards and i got to be pretty close with them somehow and sometimes you're a drunk because sometimes you over poured on the saturday and we had these big
Starting point is 00:13:03 seven eleven mugs but we'd only have one drink yeah just one going for one just have one yeah and then sometimes inevitably one of us would do things that were not kosher very upsetting for the general public and then you had to hand out a blanket apology yeah a mea culpa it's just a blanket appellate it covers any and all yeah just my bad apologize yeah we had a good drop on the old show to all who may have been affected to all take that back yeah to any and all that were affected by my ignorant behavior i'm sorry i'm also sorry, Charlene, best wings in the city. Never again.
Starting point is 00:13:50 I'll be back soon. Poor Clint in the back. I know. Just firing wings into deep priors. Charlene, you didn't even tell me? You're shut us down. They said what? Oh, fuck.
Starting point is 00:13:59 What? I'm glad we got it squared away. And thank you to all the people that defended mugshots. And absolutely, I'm not on social media, but I can't, I've heard of where these people they gang up, on you on social media. I feel like that might have happened yesterday. And, well, it did on my private phone.
Starting point is 00:14:22 But imagine if I was on social media. Yeah, people came at us for sure. Some people are really fucking stupid. That's us. We got the mics. Yeah. Yesterday you weren't stupid. That was us.
Starting point is 00:14:35 It's being the best. The thing is, though, as you say, we were very disappointed at the erroneous report. Yes. As it turns out. however that report came to be. We're investigating. I think we. Dean, it's not your fault.
Starting point is 00:15:03 And now the reason people tuned in today. Yeah, that's, you're welcome. There it is to be gas there. Major flames news. I don't want to say anything. Because I'll get, I'll get it wrong. Well, we said it yesterday. Jack has the clip.
Starting point is 00:15:18 We had it on the show. You'd ask, does Connie have any business to do still? Is that it? You got Zeri signed. Red nailed it. Now, talk to me. Yes, I was with one for two, 500. That gets in the Hall of Fame for baseball.
Starting point is 00:15:32 Does, yeah. Didn't you say slow play it or who said get it done or? Oh, he got the clip. Yeah, there again. Conflicting reports. Here we go. So is there anything else that Craig has to do? Because they've got the, they got rookies.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Rookies are getting on the ice here. I don't know that other rink is finished. He's got to get that done. He's got some seats to put in. No, no. Leave that to the ice plant. He's in the office. Got to run the plumbing.
Starting point is 00:15:59 There is one piece of work I would love to see them before camp. Aou. A hundred percent a hour. Can you give us an Aou? Because it's Dusty. Wherewolves of London? Eligible to be extended. Great time.
Starting point is 00:16:11 As yesterday. Ritz at Aou. And then you just push the button. Very satisfying of that clip. But yes. See how we aren't always wrong about everything. Just most of the time. Well, it's, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:26 I think that was kind of, yeah. I think he was looking for a, more a different part of the time yeah i was waiting for more of a take on yeah your take and my take like not really not really backslaps to say dust and wolf still needs a extension no but that we you know within 12 hours kind of like well marta loop could clean some shit up outside but if they did it the next day then it would be what happens yeah i've got it with dean let's we say that that clip made no sense into what we're this look at this look how fucking smart we are yeah we're we're like to take that it's our fourth year uh uh we had the summer off
Starting point is 00:17:00 and we're just getting started we're just shaking this would be a you know like I would expect a longer term deal yeah oh slow player he came in at three years I'd expect somewhere in the seven or we had said the swayman old mark was going to be the top end Dostell was the bottom there was a very natural window where he would get signed in and those are all names that came up that would be yeah those are the cops yeah the three last goalies that are somewhat similar Dostle are rookie the other two guys can't go above them they got more experience and more credentials. That's what we thought would happen. I didn't. Well, you were just debating for debating. I think you thought this would happen. I was said to slow play. He wants to be here and he probably could have made more money if he waited or maybe,
Starting point is 00:17:46 you know, goalies are goalies still. Every even great goalies have bad seasons. But he had a sensational rookie year last year. Sensation. I don't know what you're getting at. You've lost me today. You're okay. Dustin Wolf signs a contract.
Starting point is 00:18:00 extension with the Calgary Flames seven years at an average annual annual value of seven and a half million. Do the math on that. So on one hand, you're coming out of entry level, straight
Starting point is 00:18:16 into a seven and a half mill. I love today's NHL if I'm a, it's great second deal, but yeah, because you would have burnt a bunch of the A. But at the same time, this again feels like some tidy work by the Calgary. I feel like it's a yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:31 If you have a fair amount of confidence that he's going to be average, anything that he looked like last year, never mind ascending from there, his rookie year, his first full year in the league, this is a slam dunk. Because last year this time,
Starting point is 00:18:46 we had no idea what you were going to get. Is he too small, which has been the narrative of his whole career, but that still had a lot of steam amongst NHL people, which is crazy after watching the season he put together. And he was seventh in the league and goals saved above expected. in a really not easy environment. They got a chance a lot.
Starting point is 00:19:01 They didn't score a lot. He was way over 500 on this team. Like 2619. Like it's, that was a exceptional season. And if you have a top 10 goalie, this is a steel. And if he becomes a top five goalie,
Starting point is 00:19:14 this is going to be incredibly fortuitous. When the cap in four years will be $125 million. That's like paying a guy five and a half a year in today's money. I would think, and I'll just throw it out there with the conversations that we've had, even if you take out a massive annual increase to the cap and everything else. If we if we just had seven and a half, I think we all would have,
Starting point is 00:19:38 I'm not sure you get that for, I'm not sure you're getting them at seven and a half. I didn't know, I was kind of talking nine's. I didn't dig into it. I don't nerd out at the Cowboys tent in the summer to talk about contracts. But when I, I don't think there was a place where he was going to get more than all mark or
Starting point is 00:19:56 swim because those guys. both had received Vesna votes prior. They're more established. Just by virtue of the cap. No, sure. With the cap going up, it's like NFL quarterback money. Yeah, you don't feel the best. Well, you're going to be the highest paid.
Starting point is 00:20:10 Just by virtue of that. What it kind of signals to me is, like you said, this is a guy that wants to be here. 100%. This is not two sides really kind of jockeying and posturing over every little, little thing. The guy wants to play, wants to be a number one, $7.5 million.
Starting point is 00:20:29 a year times seven is a lot of money. You're set up for life. He's happy to be here. Got it for eight years. Like you said, he spent the summer here. He was golfing with Bernie the other day. Oh, that's good company. So it's, it's all good. I think if you wanted the eighth year, because I think they're buying
Starting point is 00:20:44 four UFA years here. And that's kind of, you know, the secret sauce is like, okay, like when teams have control, they exert it. See Conner's Erie. When you want to buy UFA years, that's going to drive up the AV. If you wanted eight years, I imagine the number was going to be north eight.
Starting point is 00:21:01 And so the sweet spot for the agent and the player and the team was almost max term eight years, seven, and you keep the number a hair lower. I just, I see very low risk here because I'm a Dustin Wolf believer. He's been called too small since the bantam years. And he's a two-time CHL goal of the year would have set the WHL record for wins and shutouts, if not for two COVID-plagued seasons. His first year in the HL, he wins goalie.
Starting point is 00:21:29 the year. That's pretty unprecedented, rare air. His second year in the H.L, he's the player of the year and goalie of the year. And his first year in the NHL, it took a Lane Hudson historic defensive season for him not to win the call date. This was an exceptional season for Dustin Wolfe. And it's not out of the ordinary for his career. He does this at every level. Now he's doing it in the NHL.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Not surprised. Some are. What are your thoughts just from the players perspective? Like what the thing, the things that you would take into account, if this contract comes across the table do i like the city do i have a chance to win am i going to be the number one how worried are do you think he would be that well in four years i'm not i'm going to be making everyone's different isn't it yeah totally there would be guys that would think that he's obviously not and it's like you said such a yeah you're laughing it's so it's so much money yeah he's going from making
Starting point is 00:22:24 900 grand a year as a pro athlete to like securing what 50 plus million the fourth biggest contract in franchise six history you're turning down a lot of money for even just like maybe you were going to be a riggoly but your knee gets blown out like this is life altering generational change your life and your kids life's money it's winning a lottery yeah it is choosing to win a lot and he loves it here he said that ever since you enough about the love no but that's the choice that's the choice Jacob true but didn't want to be in winnipeg he took short short short And three years ago, I don't like it here. Of course he can.
Starting point is 00:22:56 I just, but he likes it now, which is why he signed it. He likes it great. Let's not, it's just, there's not a lot of guys that have done the, the long term as of late.
Starting point is 00:23:07 Right? That's why I think that's, he's win for the flames. Yeah. And for him, yeah, he's going to have to play very poorly for it not to come through. That's what,
Starting point is 00:23:17 that's what I'm trying to consider. What are the different scenarios where, okay, if he plays the way he played this year, seven and a half, is good. It's great. If he improves, he's extremely
Starting point is 00:23:28 only your value to, I don't know, isn't he? Oh, yeah. If he becomes the top five goal in the next three years, which might be a little too rare, but this is the top. But a top 10,
Starting point is 00:23:36 goal 10. He was that last year. I know. So if he's, if he remains a top 10, it's a steal. That's a fair. Every team would love to have a top 10 goalie.
Starting point is 00:23:44 Yeah, with the cap going up the way it is. Yeah. The only scenario where it's not good is if he falls on his face. And even at that, you really have to fall on your face. Right? like are we talking about a Jack Campbell where you have with yeah that's what you that's
Starting point is 00:23:59 that's the risk campbell didn't have this track record he was a a a HL goalie a one B we're not trying to say he did have his track no I just think he was first round pick though right but it took forever to get anywhere it wasn't until the second organization they did anything and then in Toronto he finally becomes a one I know regardless you don't have to go into the stats of jack i'm just saying yeah jack campbell was a high risk proposition this feels very low risk I agree if that's what you're saying well it's seven and a half million for seven years on a rookie goalie who was and you can you can again you are sold on it some maybe to the same they can look at it and say well there's been lots of i get it i'm with you i think
Starting point is 00:24:36 it's a great deal i'm happy for the for the player and for the team and for for wolf isn't it a great spot to be in where you can play i always said that about iggy and this goes back imagine you're making seven million a year whatever he was making and it's like hey Hey, thanks for giving us such a deal. Thanks for, thanks for, what a teammate. What a guy you are.
Starting point is 00:24:59 You're making 10 million Canadian a year. You're welcome. Yeah, no, no problem, guys, son. I'm happy to do it for all you guys. Seven and a half. No one's ever, he's not going to be overpaid.
Starting point is 00:25:11 It's going to be really hard for this not to be a slam down home run, whatever, you know, you're not going to be looking at other, how do we fit this guy in? Wow, you're paying Wolf seven and that.
Starting point is 00:25:21 No. Like, I just, remember it was last fall and Seattle extended Joey DeCourt five five. Older, not as good. And that five number kept popping up with these sort of middle tier goalies. And would you pay an extra $2.5 million a year in this massively growing cap environment to get a goalie better than that middle tier that includes the Joey DeCard?
Starting point is 00:25:42 Hell yeah, you would. Especially with the resume that becomes, is it possible? We're missing the boat on Joey DeCourt. I think he's actually that day, solid. But we came in. I came in and either you or Jack said, yeah, Joey Decor, and five million. I was like, well, how many years? So one point what really?
Starting point is 00:26:00 No, no, five per times. Five times five. Holy shit, what? And then he's on the Olympic invite. It's like maybe. Anyway, just a side thought. Good age. But again, if you, if you want to pick one, I think around the horn, we'd all take
Starting point is 00:26:13 Wolf over Decord. He's younger. He had a better season last year. And there seems to be a lot more ceiling there. Yeah. And we'd know nothing about Joey decor. Well, it's the late. So I'm going.
Starting point is 00:26:21 Late games. I know he somehow found a way to wrestle that job from Philip Grubhouse. He was in Ottawa. And you know how we pay attention to Senators hockey in the past. Anyway, so I would say it's been a good few days for Craig Conroy. I agree. And I like where he took risk. Well, it was his birthday.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Yeah. Big party on Friday. Big party, big bash. Got the Zeri deal done. And then gets his franchise goal. He is a hard nose bugger. isn't he? He just says,
Starting point is 00:26:53 this is what you're going to get. If you don't want it, pound sand. Yeah. Yeah, like Philip Grubauer is making six. Jordan Bennington's making six. Markstrom's making six.
Starting point is 00:27:04 John Gibson, six. Like, it's just, they're all mid-30s, and it feels like this guy's got a decade of great hockey and the cap's exploding. This is,
Starting point is 00:27:13 you've got eight years of one of the hardest positions to get in the sport. One seed goal. Super fan. Take it easy. I like the deal. You are fizzy. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:27:23 I feel like it's just, it's such a good story when everyone says he's not big enough. He almost doesn't even get drafted. How do you not love the story? It's emotional to do it? Oh, I know. It's emotional.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Loves the city. He only, love us. He goes through the diatribe every time. Like, this guy was born premature. His family couldn't rub two nickels together. He was sewing holes in socks. Oh, Bill both ways to school. Callis is on his feet.
Starting point is 00:27:51 He was blind and death. It's impressive what he's done despite all those. It is. Yeah. Some real diversity he's faced. It's five foot stature. Is he five feet? Because it makes it sounds like he's four foot too.
Starting point is 00:28:05 He's got red hair, we think. That's not easy. For a gipper. Well, they better win now. I said that the connie, we did a big hot panel take yesterday. Yeah. He's got to Stanley Cup.
Starting point is 00:28:20 He's got to Stanley Cup. He's got to Stanley Cup. Why don't you get? Yeah. you get yourself Stan. Like, come. You should get one. Go get it.
Starting point is 00:28:28 Apparently they're good to have. Yeah. Put them on the shelf behind you. Do you think he wants one or is the indifferent? He didn't seem overly eager. Really? No. He talked about a plan and
Starting point is 00:28:40 Red flag. This was part of the plan. Oh, there you go. Well, we've cleared all the air. We've covered the hot topics. See you, buddies. I got a big, big batch of borships. simmering on the stove how'd you leave your borscht i don't know if i should have i wouldn't have
Starting point is 00:29:04 done that i don't think well i started at it late and yeah there's someone at home though no no good time to visit the warners i guess it's like joe burrow when he's on the road the deal is all chopped up and ready to go apparently all the cheerleaders can go when he's on the road yeah they're house sitters i'd like a house sitter that sounds fine you once been nice too As we've been bad, we've been doing this talk, hey, Connie, this and Wolf and all that. We haven't talked about that defenseman at all. That other guy that wants so. Weger?
Starting point is 00:29:41 No, weir's great. Pender Park in Canada. We love mugshots and McKenzie Weger. I would take both of them at the same time. I would take weeks to mugshots if he wants to feel for it. Be just bridging, hey, just peace. Just a peace treat. Do I bring everybody together?
Starting point is 00:29:59 We love the city. Yeah. We're short. Yeah. What are you talking to on your phone there? I'm just like an E. E. E. Gorses-Durkin's contract. I'm a nerd.
Starting point is 00:30:09 But, you know. And what does it tell you? 29. He signed it for eight years at 11.5. He's been played at least 37, make it 11 and a half. Yeah. And that deal expires, Dustin Wolf.
Starting point is 00:30:22 Can make a lot as my own. So that's this coming year. The average, the AAVs. Now, Kerry Price, crushing it. May well. You hear about the big trade?
Starting point is 00:30:34 Hey, as the sharks could use an upgrade. Yeah. Wouldn't add for the sharks. Once a shark, always a shark. Bobber making his 10, signed as a free agent. You know what the year of year? This is the last year of his deal. Oh, it's interesting.
Starting point is 00:30:46 Yeah. Will he do the everything, everyone else takes a deal in Florida? I take a deal? Or do you care because he's in his 30s now? Knowing that guy? Just give me whatever. Give me some of that borsh that Warner's making. It's good.
Starting point is 00:30:59 I've been made, I got 70 million. I would go with the love. Obster Bisk if I was in Florida, but Borsh is good as well. How about John Gibson still nailing it down there? That's good money for a backup. I'll tell you that. Has he played like a full season? He was healthy just in time of the trade line and then got hurt when his name was in conversation. Year's seven of eight.
Starting point is 00:31:21 I feel like this contract's been ongoing for two decades. Like I feel like John Gibson was playing when I played. Old Gibby? He was there when they won five divisional titles in a row. Not for all of them. But the end, it was for him and Freddie Anderson at one point. I don't forget that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:33 They had to move Freddie. Too many goalies. And who was the wrong catching goalie that came here for a little bit? Hillier? Yeah, Jonas Hiller. Swiss. Yeah. You don't have that.
Starting point is 00:31:47 The song. It's been a while since. I don't think so. That's too bad. I liked that one. Okay. But you're going to bring it up in the Pender Report? I've got some Rasmus news.
Starting point is 00:32:00 I've got some Zane Perak news. See? That's, yeah. Calder odds Shane cold Kyle Colt Cald Calder great hawk coach sure coach kids throw a little money's out you told us yesterday lots of money how many years did you play with Shane Calder three really yeah why just why just mapping it all out didn't you give me shit about something on junior hockey last yesterday and I was well you were telling me I was one 100% right and you're wrong the year it was would have been Shane Calder's rookie year
Starting point is 00:32:41 telling you telling you I don't want you want me to tell you tell me anything I'll believe when it comes to Warren Zvon I'm gonna dig my heels in and mugshots having great wings on Ogden Road same location tried the deal pickle I just couldn't see it did they no didn't move same spot you you know what Big mouth. This guy with the attitude over here. I'm going to put, throw him in the back of the truck.
Starting point is 00:33:11 We're going to drive down there. You can tell me if you see that effing sign. Big shot. Just because you drove down there and had him. Oh, I couldn't see the sign. You just string me up. We were wrong.
Starting point is 00:33:26 He was right. It's not your fault, dude. Make me walk the plank. I apologize. What do you want me to do? I couldn't see the sign. I hope the sign is still there. I love it if they actually have,
Starting point is 00:33:38 Like if there's a new sign that's even bigger than the last one. Yeah, it's in neon lights flashing. You mean this sign? Best wings in town. Crystal Waters plumbing and here. Are they at your house today? Actually, fellas, if you're listening. Yeah, fellas.
Starting point is 00:33:54 Shut the borsht off when you get there. Thank you, yeah. You know you've got the code to get in. Just turn the borsh down to it. Short show today, guys, got a lot of my plate. Oh, is Rick got some meetings? What's the stories? Is he interviewing for one of those planes coaching jobs?
Starting point is 00:34:08 I got borsed. God, it's going to be good, too. I put the little cream in there. Oh, not if you're cream already? No, I didn't already. Oh, okay. Not an idiot. Slow play him.
Starting point is 00:34:22 I can't believe you didn't go with that clip. You played the other. I didn't want to bury it. Oh, yeah. Dustin Wolf needs a contract. Ah. Hot tech. Told you so.
Starting point is 00:34:33 Were you looking for like some sort of like way to go? You really laid it out there for it? The only reason you would bring up a clip from yesterday's show. was the one that how old. I didn't even say his name. Would be to show how right we were. Or how wrong we were. Could do both. Could do both from yesterday's show, in fact.
Starting point is 00:34:50 That's the magic of Barnburn. Beaks and valleys. You got your mugshots mistakes and you got to nail it on the wolves. Is there anything Craig needs to do? Sign wolf. Done. He didn't tell me, though. Did Connie tip you off or what?
Starting point is 00:35:07 No. That's too bad. We don't keep secrets, Connie. We're tight. Connie knows there's a lot of eyeballs in this. show. Yes, sir? A lot of eyeballs, a lot of ears. A lot of people paying attention. Can we monetize that please? Well, you saw that. We made some reckless statements and within minutes it was on Facebook. Power of the show. That's right. Crystal Waters plumbing and heating. We are right in that,
Starting point is 00:35:34 I think they call it a shoulder season. Shoulder. Pork shoulder. Because you're between, okay, summer's kind of over. So you're getting away from your air conditioner and you're getting into your furnace. But don't just be stumped. Oh, if I heat, a cool heat, sure it'll be fine. A little word to the wise. I know you're going through it. This is good. This is the what I need.
Starting point is 00:35:56 Change your filters. Yeah. All that smoking here. Change your filters. You know how to do that? Yeah. Yeah. I do that. Jack is not. He's, I'm a renter. That's not my problem. He's blowing darts. Jack roads filters for his joints. That's all he knows about filters.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Oie. Hot water, tanks you don't like that it's legal indoor air and water quality how often do you think about that or do you just turn on i think about it turn the fair now just have some tap water here drink whatever's coming out of the ground friggin nenshi putting whatever into my friggin tap water you know come guys figure it out fellas fellas crystal waters blowing out air conditioners to wrap up the season early bird on furnaces extra discounts for bundling a furnace and an AC maybe you're going to do the whole and discounts as high as 15% off select models with a free year of preventative maintenance your crystal clear choice for all residential plumbing heating and cooling services crystal

I hobnobbed yesterday.
Starting point is 00:37:51 Really? Yeah, it was part of the panel. Who was on the panel? Me? Mike Commodore, who almost, he said he opened the door yesterday and then he didn't even bother coming out. He's afraid of getting drunk.
Starting point is 00:38:02 I've seen it before. POS. Because his eyes tested, hammered. They thought he had eye diseases. Last time he was here. He's like, I can't come back. My ophthalmologist thought I was dying. No, no, he was just hammered.
Starting point is 00:38:15 So, Commodore. Reggear. God, he's lean. Still fit. Still, eh? He's playing tennis, he's playing tennis, he's playing tennis? He loves the racket sports, do you? Is he pickleballing?
Starting point is 00:38:28 I don't think that's fast enough. That's for, I was going to say. That's a little crotch. He wouldn't lower himself. No. I think he plays Marty. Jeline, who was up there. Oh, he'd be a good tennis.
Starting point is 00:38:39 In tennis. They have quite the match, I guess. I believe that. Cardio champions. And the GM. I mean Who's who It's kind of didn't give you
Starting point is 00:38:49 Not even an inkling that maybe I'll say it here I said it to you guys after the show yesterday Before I went down there I said is it Is it somewhat sad that We still have to be invited To talk about the accolades of the team
Starting point is 00:39:02 I think it's great for you I think it's great for you I think it's time to turn the page I feel like Yeah it's time for the flames To give fans some stuff to Yeah like I take cheap shots at the 89 group because they are always around bragging.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Yeah. And then there's us guys that didn't even bother to win that still get. Second on the total pole. Second play. Well, I mean, when you're high watermark for 20 years is five games knockout against your biggest rival in the second round, that keeps you guys relevant. It's good for business, I suppose.
Starting point is 00:39:35 Well, it's time to turn the page. Those stories are old. They are old. They're rusty. They're dusty. You're trying to show the video. could be like, is this, this isn't even HD? This is like one of those like square screens.
Starting point is 00:39:48 Oh, dear, this was a long time ago. They tried to spice the flames did a good job because they tried to spice it up a little bit to add a little, because Ferrence apparently took a bunch of pictures. Put that on social media or something. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, they had them flipping in the back pictures, but we couldn't see the pictures and Brandon Park's trying to ask us
Starting point is 00:40:05 about the picture. I can't see the damn it's behind me. Parks. Anyway. Is he recovered from the slander that Bumer laid on him? Questions. Great guy that Brenna Park, a great guy. Any apologies?
Starting point is 00:40:16 Solid guy. What kind of show do we? Fine husband. Great father. Anything else? It's very, his, uh, his, uh, cleanliness. He is clean. It's very clean.
Starting point is 00:40:31 His nails, wash his hands. Yep. Suits are pressed. Puts himself to bed at 9.30. Hey, can you wear, uh, Tony? What do I, what else? What's the dress code? I'll just dress shirt maybe golf shirt yeah yeah dress pants business cash I don't have a pair
Starting point is 00:40:49 of dress pants no did you go with the brown leather jacket whenever else was wearing a suit I saw that on meka night was a hit that was a huge that was a statement that was a fashion statement and I'm into fashion and I'm not going to be wasn't that great they even got on the post game show and you didn't remember the name of the podcast I'm talking about what are you talking about thank you Scott Oak. So what did you, so did. Or other guys wearing some dress pants or jeans. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:16 It's as good as I got. You know what, though? You could pull it off. Yeah. Well, no one cares. Yeah. You got a bag of pants over here. Are there any dress pants in there? Those pants over there were in the back of my truck since I returned from Buffalo. That's a while ago. July, June of 2024.
Starting point is 00:41:37 Jack's like, hey, in the bag, he's like pants. And then a week later, the bag of pants is now here. So instead of being in the back of his truck free, there's a, there's a spot just down the street. Taylor, yes. A tailor.
Starting point is 00:41:49 Well, if she's hot or not, they might be out of, you know, I was going to say, they might be out of business by this afternoon. So I'd. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:41:56 but I don't want to have the pants there. I was going to say, either get it done, chop, chop, while you wait, I wouldn't believe. Maybe they'd come in here.
Starting point is 00:42:04 You'd help them promote. Bring their sewing machine. I don't know what we were talking about. There should be something. The panel last night. Panel. Who was on it? Pants.
Starting point is 00:42:15 Is Jerome around? Have you seen Jerome? I want to see more Jerome. See you? It's more Jerome in our lives. Why? Leave Jerome alone. Is that enough for this city?
Starting point is 00:42:26 Oh, he's going to do more. That's the beauty. Didn't have to come back. Work for the Flames. Like I was saying, got paid $7 million year after year. What a guy. Thanks for taking a deal.
Starting point is 00:42:37 Thanks. bud. Thanks for doing that. Pinda report brought to by Village Honda. They are your dealership for life. It's not like someplace like, oh, did we? Here's your keys. And then they go running back in and lock the doors. The true coat.
Starting point is 00:42:54 It's like, we got it. You're like, I think I left my sweater in there. Guys. Thanks. We're closed. See you. It's not the kind of treatment you get at Village Honda. They look after you.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Oil changes. Service. whatever it is that you need down the road. Maybe you're, then all of a sudden... Stop it and say hi. They're that kind of people. They are that kind of people. Yep.
Starting point is 00:43:14 They are that kind of people. Good coffee. Oh, they have good coffee machine. Leather couches, TVs. That's another thing. Shettles. I guess I should have had... I kind of figured I could smell some antifreeze.
Starting point is 00:43:30 I was going to get that taken care of before the weather turned cold. VillageHonda.com is the weather. website and they are your dealership for life. Can they flee? Fix a slow leak. This is a good. Jason wants to know. Are they still open?
Starting point is 00:43:50 Did you guys hear anything? Are they? No, open. Rocking and rolling. Still your dealership for life. Well, just make sure you keep your sign up, Anthony. Don't take your sign down. It's a great sign up there.
Starting point is 00:43:59 Can't miss it. I've got to put a sign up right outside your house. Ryan, back to you. Ah, Destin Wolf is the news of the day, friends. Let's bask in the, uh, well, the team's MVP last year being locked up for eight years. He's on the final year of a second contract
Starting point is 00:44:18 at 900 grand a year. And this will carry him probably safely right through most of his prime and hopefully into a great latter half of his goal. He's age well, eh? Loves the city, Dean. Loves the city. Been here all summer and said, you know,
Starting point is 00:44:34 wants to be here. Excited about the new rink in two years? Two years. All right. Oh, I just, I need one more sound effect, Dean. Please, Blatch me. Gosh, I don't know. That's beautiful. Gorgeous. Really?
Starting point is 00:44:47 That made the cut. That was our fingers. Tighten up. That's our savvy social media team. We made that? Do you get it? Our graphics guy made that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:56 The one we used to have, obviously, because it would be better. Oh. No, he didn't make that. But what's his last? Yeah, it's, okay, we got it. Good. We'll move. We have more details on the wolf.
Starting point is 00:45:07 Okay. Let's go. Here's what people need to understand. It's not just 7.7.75. It's, hello, the cap's growing. So you're going to tell me that for better than half this deal, he's going to make less than $6 million in today's money. That just sound like a low risk proposition to me.
Starting point is 00:45:27 Does this make sense? Or am I completely? It doesn't make sense to me because it doesn't add up to seven and a half. Yeah, because the cap's growing. So it's percentage of the cap drops. So in today's dollars, this is what it would be. God, this is painful. Yep, good.
Starting point is 00:45:41 We'll keep moving. We got more. It's $2 million. And bonus. Can't do that in the new CBA, but you can next year. So we'll get it there. And a 10-team no trade from years three through seven. You're not eligible until no trades until you've hit a certain plateau of service time. And he'll be there for year three of this deal. Five UFA years. Wow. I thought it was four. Good deal, Connie. There you go. Pat Prysan. Good work, Pat. Good job, Pat. This one's for Pat. Yeah. I already have that one. I assume you didn't. Hey, Pat. Fuck on.
Starting point is 00:46:14 sorry that would have been if he was holding this one's for pat thank you very good what do you get of that so it's seven times seven what's all patty brisson making there 0.03 yeah yeah they can charge more if you're managing
Starting point is 00:46:28 money and things like that but a lot of them don't want to manage money because that's what you get in all kinds of trouble yeah I've got some uh stuff got some shares in this gold bathtub company it's real good well only luck
Starting point is 00:46:44 few yeah i don't think people are taking a lot of baths called golden showers ink i think you should put all your money is yeah and then g s is the ticker i've got this other one the pearl necklace thought cuts let's move shall we zane perak could we have two years in a row with a outstanding rookie in the initial last year dust and wolf was a finalist for the calder trophy uh-oh steinbaum do we have a steinbaum or no no pat do the pat one one Yeah, we got This one's for back. No, the other one.
Starting point is 00:47:20 Hey, that's all right. Connie on AM radio, I think still exists there. Zane Perak, lower body injury still working through.
Starting point is 00:47:33 Well, hope he'll be ready. He was skate with him. Hope he'll be ready for training camp. That's not escape with him today. Ideal. Huh?
Starting point is 00:47:44 Yeah, right? What? Huh? Huh? Who the hell cares? Stop the hammer. Hello. Let's be ready and let's have a good camp, Zane.
Starting point is 00:47:52 A lot of opportunity. The Steinberg gear. Always rumor mill. Rumor mill. Just B.S. Conroy says, quote. By the way, you're looking for who's going to have an outstanding rookie season.
Starting point is 00:48:06 Our friends' daily face-off have this article. Ivan Demadov and Zane Perak are among some early Calder Trophy candidates you need to know, Stephen Ellis. I hope this Perrek turns out all right, because you are throwing a lot behind him. This is an article written by Stephen Ellis,
Starting point is 00:48:22 and he's talking about a flame. And you're driving it full throttle. I'm definitely saying that there's an article you can read if you want to read more about Zane Perak. I'm not saying he's going to win the Calder. I'd love him to have a season that good that it's in the conversation, but I am with you in the sense that I don't know what you're going to get from Zane. This is quite a back pedal.
Starting point is 00:48:43 What? You don't want to mention this? Jack yesterday said let's get some articles. It's good talking points. This is not about whether... Oh, you're pumping up Perrek. It's not about whether the article is... You are on record as being very into Per rec.
Starting point is 00:48:56 Which is fine. He's a high first round pick. And then he said, I hope he works out because you've been pumping his tires. I think everyone that is following this team hopes he works out. Then you can just say... He's the best prospect in the system. It would be nice if it worked out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:12 It would be nice if it worked out. even keel. Are you sure McLeod Law? You can interning over there? What's going on? Another defenseman in news of the flames. I don't know if this means I hate or I love Rasmus,
Starting point is 00:49:24 but Dean will tell me once we've read it. Here's a quote. Eric Francis getting this from the defenseman hating to the final year of his deal. I've grown up in the city. I've loved every second of it. That will never change. And now it's the business side of it.
Starting point is 00:49:38 Is it smart to resign now after last season? I don't know. I mean, I've just read all season how much I suck. So I guess I've got to come out of the gates hot and just worry about myself and get the team in the best position possible end quote rasmus anderson can i say what i really feel yep i know how i feel quit fucking whining who's saying you sucked like is this just there's signs these are signs around the city that i shouldn't miss he had the the egregious plus minus thing and was playing with the broken leg like we talk as much
Starting point is 00:50:07 blames as anyone i don't recall running him through no one said he's if we have talked about his bad Plus minus. We have spent 10 to 20 times the amount of time over how great he is for his cap hit, his attitude, how good he ever. All of that. We like Francis Anderson. Now, I don't want him to, because he's kind of like Naz a bit. I think they like playing the me against the world.
Starting point is 00:50:34 Like he's a chip on his shoulder guy, right? Why? So this is what he needs. And I think that's a bit of a window. But there's a difference. There's a difference of, yeah, having a chip on your shoulder. when you're being soundly criticized. But if you're pissing and moanin,
Starting point is 00:50:48 no one's calling you out, dude. I think when the teams tried to sign you, there was a team in L.A. that wanted to trade for you, that you rejected the trade. Like, come on. He wouldn't extend that. It's a little, it's a little pissy pass for sure. But it's the same thing.
Starting point is 00:51:03 Why are you weird today? I don't know what, were you hammered last night? No, I wish. That would have been great. I was like, e-bells sweating on full silts instead. They're making the stipulations. that it's different because he wouldn't resign there. He didn't reject the
Starting point is 00:51:17 trade deal. It's the same fucking thing. It's totally. You've got my swearing now. If you read his quote and read into it, the notion is that if I'm coming off not a great year, which I think his document, he played with the broken leg, it wasn't his best year. Why would that be the summer that I would extend? And you got a lot
Starting point is 00:51:33 That's how you read that? Hang on. He got a lot of heat from Flames fans, not all of them. They're like, he's screwing the team by not going to L.A. The clowns that post shit on the internet? Who cares? What are you talking about? Hey, I heard a lot of... This is the stuff that gets you upset, then get off the internet.
Starting point is 00:51:51 Where, where... You show me the article. Oh, no one writes. Well, Pike writes. When did Pike write Anderson sucks? No, I've heard a few podcasts that took heavy runs in a... What podcasts? Who is a part of it?
Starting point is 00:52:03 Our boys in the dome took a heavy run. Those dumb asses are drunk and ever. One podcast. He's saying, I've read all season how much I suck. which is again showing you it's him against the world that's he loves being here i you're at this show i can't do it anymore today i'm sorry for delivering the news regarding the flames no you're you're telling me how to read it and that i'm reading it and you're telling me what to interpret and how to i'm i'm reading it you can read however you want dito you can say he's soft and the kids are so weak these days
Starting point is 00:52:34 and keep rasmus is a dm you can say all that i haven't said any of that um we'll keep moving he won't say the player and he's got his best we said we said we We don't like him. We all did. We just said we all like it. But now you're saying that, well, I would never say that around because I like him and I think he's a good player. Like when, when, well, you just call the whole point. He just said.
Starting point is 00:52:53 Like, we whine a button guys don't give us quotes. And then they tell us that they actually. Oh, this is the old. Whoa. And we don't get a quote. No, he's making something up that I don't believe to be true. I don't disagree with that. And I think that's when it's just like NAS is feeling snub by the Canadians.
Starting point is 00:53:08 Like, you're good player. But look at the roster team. What the fuck does NAS have to do with him? They're both guys that thrive on. me against the world. So creating and shit that doesn't creating beef. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:53:20 Some players are wired this way. I don't mind it at all. NFL, let's go. Before someone punches me. He's got long arms. He's not that far away. Minnesota Vikings did not look good through a half of football. Bears defense was flexing.
Starting point is 00:53:35 And then J.J. McCarthy, not a rookie, but his first year as the starter, cranks it up in the second half. Vikings on the road. Look out pumped up. He's here. Divisional rival. boom. It's a rally for the Vikings. They win on Monday night football.
Starting point is 00:53:50 And I'm sure Jack watched a bunch of this. J.J. looked pretty darn good as the game went on. He did look very good as the game went on. I was surprised to hear that he only played 12 snaps in the preseason. That means he's the number one, I guess, doesn't it? Yeah, but he's a rookie. All I remember seeing was goosh. It was not a good start. He just was telegraphing everything to Jefferson and big comeback.
Starting point is 00:54:15 They went in the second half. Sir, about your bears, Dino. We almost had the clean sweep of the Barnburn. The Bears had on, but they, it was Bearsy. We didn't get Bilsie. We didn't get Chargersy. We got Bearsy this week.
Starting point is 00:54:29 It looked very good through a half of football. And then not good at all. All right. Then Minnesota decided to show up a play. Yeah, they just. The Bears mixed in a miss kick, which is something they've had an affinity for for decades. It was very Bearsy for sure.
Starting point is 00:54:48 Great. They're more wide open. Is your team 1 and 0? Let's take a peek because there's some surprising teams that aren't. Kansas City's got to go to Philly this week after the loss in week one. Kansas City's in Philly? Oh, I hope they get punched in the most. And then they got the Ravens in week four, Detroit, six.
Starting point is 00:55:05 I hope Sequin just plows right through the line. There's the list. I think the Bengals had a net of plus two yards in the second half and some will be Cleveland. that was wild. A lot of teams blacked out already. Okay. Are you feeling good? Half the league is.
Starting point is 00:55:20 It'd be like half the league, right? That would be exactly at no ties. There's a new Bill's Hallmark movie out too. Well, and the bills were singing after their win. That incredible comeback. Let's go check in with Dawson Knox. Do you have been there, right? You've been in the parking lot.
Starting point is 00:55:44 You've been at home, no traffic. How many people does it hold? I got goosebumps. I know, I got goosebumps on it saw last night. It's why I dad. Life's good. What a place to be one of the greatest comebacks in primetime football history. What will be great is when this gets pulled down off YouTube for playing the music and our mugshots.
Starting point is 00:56:24 Apology is gone. It's like those guys still haven't even talked about it. Yeah, it's the fan singing. I can't. I mean, that wasn't the band, I'm sure. Now, last year, remember that the Flames won? They'd have these weird TikTok videos. You got all angry about rats.
Starting point is 00:56:37 They're, well, they're. Like, what is this? Fire that social. I'm an old crudgeon. Yeah. That's the word, right? Well, curmudgeon's going to curmudgeon. Here's the bill's TikTok after the win.
Starting point is 00:56:54 Working alone is the only way to finally hear your own voice. Today, I want you to understand something most people never do. There are players on this rock. Another note, old lady's whipping out their butt cheek. Coach, we'll catch up with you later in the show to get your final thought. Just going out there and just working hard. I mean, I think when you're working hard and you know you're working hard to see the way he works, get out here and see him work. See them all work down and just work hard and we start working hard.
Starting point is 00:57:38 I know you working hard and working hard. I'm good. I think it comes from, you know, being a baby. There's a TikTok from Bill's Win, Red. Jack, what the hell is going on with your generation? People will like that, click that follow that. I guess so. Are you?
Starting point is 00:57:56 I think it's younger than me. It's not my generation. I think you're probably right. And that's seem more scary. What the hell's going on with your kids, boomer? That's very sciencey because it's giving you just random BS so your brain never shuts down and your dopamine hits. A lot of dopamine hits in there. That's my take on.
Starting point is 00:58:12 I'll never get that minute back. And I'm sorry. I like that one guy trying to slide, though, do the. Yeah, the old rope swing. That was terrible. Blue Jays in action after an off day. It is a tight race in the AL East with themselves, Yankees and Red Sox all in the mix of the division. Meanwhile, Houston leads AEL West.
Starting point is 00:58:31 There's our friends at Blue Jays Nation. Jose Berrios will start tonight. He's been dreadful. Vladdy. Red hot. 13 for 21 over the last five games three walks as well. We'll revisit that in our bet three, six, five. That's later.
Starting point is 00:58:47 He'll be watching the Yankees. I caught a little on the weekend. Yanks have a good team coming up here. Do you know who they play? No. Okay. We'll keep moving. Jack, I'm going to embarrass you here.
Starting point is 00:58:59 Uh-oh. Because this couple did something that you were nowhere near doing. Ah. Innings, nine hot dogs, nine beers. Let's go. I'm going to drink a beer stuff. Number one, classic ketchup mustard. Two, chili cheese dog.
Starting point is 00:59:16 That's not small. Good. This was two beers in one. I'm halfway, inning two. Go for it. I got a whole inning for it. Inning three. Number three, and this one is ginorpe.
Starting point is 00:59:29 And it has bacon onion jam. She count as two innings. Two dogs. That looks good, actually. Why do you? That just keeps happening. 25 ounces for two innings. Big beer.
Starting point is 00:59:43 This is fucking good. I can eat 10 of these, 9 of these. Inning four. And this is inning court because this is two hot dogs. Right. It's like she's getting more drunk than he is. Yeah, she's like a half of this is going through. Are they mixed?
Starting point is 00:59:57 I haven't seen any anything. He's doing a couple things? He's doing a drink. He's doing a bun light chilotto with Taheed. That's not getting each one. I'm a bit confused. I don't know about that. Number five, foot long,
Starting point is 01:00:10 one dog. Can't eat it. Six innings calls for a musky dog. This is where Jack tapped a five dogs are, Jeff. The second half of this gross beer. I don't think these two losers are finishing any. Number seven, sausage dog with peppers.
Starting point is 01:00:28 You've eaten. you've had birthday I can barely do it's number seven I realize I'm getting up there this one this is this one's nice it is the eighth inning shake shack dog and he's cut oh just catchy on this I'm not thick of them yet I don't know how many more I feel good I'm so stressed all the places are closing with the hot dogs ugly I found a chill worker and I got my last beer but we got what you're saying what is that
Starting point is 01:01:09 Jack how do you feel Jack how do you feel this I mean I'm impressed by the girl I do this every weekend every weekend. Yeah, the beer part's not like Michael completely hammered. Yeah, this is if Pinder and Jack read it, it's like, Pinder and Jack go to a baseball game. I'm not that would just be it wouldn't be a huge accomplishment or a story.
Starting point is 01:01:47 The two and the nine dogs. That was impressive. That was impressive. Bite garbage. Bite garbage. Uh, it's September. And apparently something is coming back that used to be around. It wasn't closed or shut down.
Starting point is 01:02:02 It just went away for a while. It's right. 13 hours ago on Facebook. It is Brandon downtown pickle fest returning again. Dean, get excited. Picklefest. Beautiful. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:19 You ever heard the clip? Downtown International Picklefest 97 is taking it to the street. September 5th and 6th. Is that what it was? Friday evening and the 900 block of Rosser will rock to the sounds of Big Dick Cadillac, global village trucking company, the dust rhinos and many more. Don Bickle and Dolly Relish are looking forward to seeing everyone. Look for special savings with the Picklefest Coupon book available at many downtown retailers and information kiosks during Picklefest 97.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Downtown International Picklefest 97 is taking it to the streets. September 5 and 6th and they were playing taking it to the streets there. Did you see it in 97? Yeah. Jack, how old were you in 1997? Minus one. Oh my God. I was voicing TV ads.
Starting point is 01:03:02 brilliant. Me and Peter were trying to figure out how old you were. I think you were 23. Does that sound right? 23 or 24? He's not going to say. Well, we know. He doesn't like to talk about it.
Starting point is 01:03:12 No, but John Gruden sent him a note for his 50th last year. So I was trying to be. He wasn't here. He didn't see it. You can do the math on that. I was. I was a number of years into this great career. He was a professional.
Starting point is 01:03:26 You're happy and optimistic. He was. He was not beaten down. and resigned to a miserable life at that point. The big dick Cadillac. And the dust rhinos. Yeah. That must have said,
Starting point is 01:03:43 energetic read at the top of the script in bold letters. Stripper tone. Yeah. Anyway. It's good. Those things still exist on the internet. You said the internet was dead. I feel like it's still bringing the stools.
Starting point is 01:04:00 Yeah. That's your picture. And report on this Tuesday. Happy Pickle Fest, everyone. Yes, enjoy Picklefest. Hopefully the weather cooperating. Yeah, yeah, please. Do you think Don Bickle and Dolly Relic?
Starting point is 01:04:12 I think they are, yeah. They used the same fucking logos. They never made some. Classics. Village Honda, huge selection of pre-owned vehicles, all makes all models, all budgets, over 90 units on site, 500 more inside the dealership group.
Starting point is 01:04:26 They're part of the Wood Automotive Group, don't you know? So if you have something in your mind, well, here's kind of, you know, we've got a growing family. or our family was, you know, we had like nine kids and now they've all moved out, so we need something small. Whatever it is.
Starting point is 01:04:37 If it's not on the lot at Village, they go within the dealership group and find what it is you're looking for. Village Honda. VillageHonda.com, Northwest Automall. If you have nine kids, do you, does it ever shrink? Like, you have three kids. Yeah. And you're adding. It feels like you've got more people to feed at night.
Starting point is 01:04:54 Not always, but they bring other. Girlfriends now and family visits. So if you have nine, let's say you go every other year, that's 18. years, but it's time those youngest is 10. The other one's probably having kids. They raise themselves, yeah. You know what I mean? Like that's a vicious cycle.
Starting point is 01:05:10 We're not commuting, though. There is a time when the kids are young. You're going as a group. You're a family unit of five. So, well, if we're going over to this, well, probably two of the three kids aren't coming. So it's rare that there's five of us in the vehicle at the same time. No, no, I'm just getting at it.
Starting point is 01:05:28 If you had nine children, do you ever get away from them all? Do you ever ground do you ever get to downgrade your vehicle nine feels like a lot it's heavy yeah it's a lot more sure jack you better get started that's what you know i'd go to village hond and talk it up with them they'll have a plan they're they're they will have a plan yep they would have expert opinions on that point you in the right direction and a hat tip to whoever sent that clip in uh mr anonymous or missus anonymous not sure which oh it's out there what am i got to tell you I got to play this for day. I'm going to check out.
Starting point is 01:06:06 Outdoor dental, Dr. J. Patel. Jack, when's the last time you have been to the dentist? Over a year. Oh, twice here. You can imagine what's going on in that. Do you floss? I do floss. Really?
Starting point is 01:06:20 I do brush me. What do you mean? Every night. Every night you floss? I try to. So the night you ordered pizza to the wrong house, you made, you, I did not floss. Before I pass out
Starting point is 01:06:33 blind, I'd best get my flossing in before I eat this alfaghetti out of the fridge. There was no flossing that night. Monday to Thursday. Do you floss before your brush or after? I've heard you're supposed to do before. Because I got those toothpicks with the flogers.
Starting point is 01:06:51 I always forget. I can't do it at home, so I put them in the truck. She'll get a water pick. My wife has a water pick. And I think, I believe she also flosses after or I'm a before flosser. I get in there,
Starting point is 01:07:07 you jimmy it all loose, right, and get it out of there. And then if there's some remnants, then you're going in to brush them all away. It feels like if you brush and you don't do a good enough job, if it's still, and then you floss, then it's just kind of has to get a hanger in it.
Starting point is 01:07:19 I brush one required just like shampoo in my hair. Yeah, he didn't brush today, he told us, no, nor his hair nor his teeth. Your uncle's never, your grandpa, who was it?
Starting point is 01:07:29 Grandpa? Never brushed his teeth? never had a county or a dentist he's telling you no there was a dentist that moved in uh right next door in his later years and then my aunt was working there and talked him and going in the dent said holy f you got great feet was she the left cheek sneak no she's a sweetie outdoor dental the website outdoor dot dental it's dr j patel dentistry with no needles no drills no stress the solea laser revolutionizing the dental industry we went in there they're they're doing the they're making your the crowns like the thing they're they're making them right
Starting point is 01:08:12 there with 3d printing solea lasers cutting edge it can be a little uh you know for some people dental implants treatment that can be a little daunting not with outdoor dental and snobes snoring. Do you snore, Jack? No way to tell. After the drunk pizza is ordered. I don't like so. I got a buddy that's flying over to Europe to golf. And they're doing the red air,
Starting point is 01:08:40 or whatever. Yeah, he's a little concerned. Waking up the plane. Of keeping it on the plane. He's going to get those breathe rights and all that. Send him in to Dr. Jay.
Starting point is 01:08:49 He'll be fine. Yeah, do you have to wear like the chin scrub to keep your got a CPAP machine plugged in somewhere. Yeah, does it's a plug in USB into the seed in front of me. Snoring treatments, two 15 minute treatments with the solacea laser increases the tension
Starting point is 01:09:04 in the soft palate, reduces snoring, non-surgical pain-free, two 15-minute treatments. Better sleep, longer sleep, deeper sleep, you're more rested. Life's better. All of them. Outdoor.dendental.
Starting point is 01:09:17 Dr. J. Patel. Thank you, Dr. J. Dr. J. Uh-oh, we're being served. It could be any number of people. It's probably mugshots. Yeah. It could be pickle fest.
Starting point is 01:09:31 It could be mugshots. It could be village Honda. Could be crystal waters. Could be the killers for playing Mr. Brightside. Could be them. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:39 That's a banger, eh? That's a big crowd favorite. Super popular that one. Yeah, right, Jack, what's going on? I don't really know.
Starting point is 01:09:51 Hmm, good. Yeah. We're getting robbed? Maybe. Cool. I don't know what there's the steel in here. A Steelers helmet.
Starting point is 01:09:59 Steeler's helmet. Go ahead. Take that. Big Ben. I'm holding on to that. The Rocky trophy. Swing on that. The Rocky thing.
Starting point is 01:10:08 What does that thing called? Yeah, that cutout, that stand-up thing. Cardboard cutout, yeah. It's like one of those movie things, cardboard cutout. If you have any thoughts on the show. Attach them to money and send a shots. Just put them in the comments on the show.
Starting point is 01:10:26 There's something you'd like to see. Maybe you want a sponsorship opportunity. maybe we've said something derogatory and inflammatory. Defamatory about your business, your loved ones. Just go into the YouTube comments, drop them in there. We'll take a look at them. Jack will take a look at them and we'll go from there. How are the comments?
Starting point is 01:10:49 It's a lot of comments today. Yeah, well, sign friendly. How do people feel about their Barnburner podcast? I think most people enjoy it. Yeah. I think half people just come to fight in the comments. I think the background. Most people enjoy it.
Starting point is 01:11:05 Yeah. There's a lot of fighting going on. Yeah. About what? It's always oilish flames. It's good stuff. Oh. You know what I heard yesterday?
Starting point is 01:11:13 Well. So, hey, you know, so and so. They bought, they're going on the Nashville trip with you guys. No way. Yeah. He and his brother. They've never been. They heard you guys talk about it.
Starting point is 01:11:25 Yeah, that'd be it. Yes. If you've heard about Nashville, you've never been. been in Nashville, I can just stop. We're going to Nashville. That's all you need to know. Nationgear.ca is the website. Go there, get your flights and everything.
Starting point is 01:11:39 But if you, this is what we're talking. Nashville, we're going to watch a hockey game. We're going to watch a football game. We're going to dress up and Halloween costume. It's Halloween the day we get there. We love Halloween. Two games, one city, one honky tonk weekend. And if you like people to be jealous of you,
Starting point is 01:11:58 go to Nashville. want to buy this trip and then be able to say, yeah, we're going to Nashville. Yeah, we're going. Are you really? Yeah, yeah. When are you going? I guess, uh, end of, end of October somewhere in there. Yeah, we want to see a, going to see a game. Flames game. Going to go and see, uh, think the Titans are at home. Yeah. That's what you'll hear. Made possible Chelsea LaBelle at Expedia cruises in northeast Edmonton put all the work in, all the legwork, the different packages. But what, here's what you need to know. Round trip direct flights from Calgary to Nashville. transportation to and from the airport three nights in a downtown Nashville hotel it's going to be
Starting point is 01:12:34 walking distance it's all right there lower bowl hockey ticket upper bowl football ticket there are multiple options for you there's a non-flight package there's single occupancy double occupancy probably the most dub it would be you and a buddy or whatever maybe you want to take your chick and you get your own bed that's always nice oh we got double beds we got to talk to chel We'll look into it. We'll look into it because we have X number of flights, rooms, tickets, that whole thing. So they just math. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:11 They just kind of put some into each bucket. So we'll just have to shimmy some over to the full pack. We'll get some singles tournaments of doubles. Yeah. That's also what you do at the bar there. That's right. Heavy handed on the pores. The singles are doubles.
Starting point is 01:13:23 The closer you get to the deadline, you just move straight to doubles. Nationgear.ca. we will get on that nowish to make sure that that gets rectified. The thing about being a bucket list place to go is that you got to go there and then you can cross it off the bucket list, but you probably will want to go back to Nashville. It's that good. Yep. It is a top, top, top, top.
Starting point is 01:13:43 What do you like to do? Do you like to live music, have some drinks, great food, a little hockey, little football, weather will be decent down there. It will. Yes. That'll be a lovely time year to be there. I think Jack's bringing his whole family tree. That'll be great.
Starting point is 01:13:56 He's got some convoy. Convoy come. My dad's going to drive. Alabama. It's only a three-hour drive. It's going to the non-flight version, I think. Where is he in Alabama? Alabama.
Starting point is 01:14:06 Roll-tide. Birmingham. I don't know about that. What do you mean? Did he buy a... Oh, yeah, he's in. He's got the non-flight one. Did he buy the non-flight or he's just showing up?
Starting point is 01:14:17 Because if he's just showing up, he's not welcome. He has to buy shots, a lot of them. I don't know what he bought. But he's coming. I would hope that he's supporting his son and his son's venture here with by buying one of the dad pre-packaged to make it all that foot money let's go let's go support your son creep there's money in hoofs spend it you cheap bastard bet 365 bets of the day bet three six five

Starting point is 01:17:22 Well, there was lots going on. We had the controversy from yesterday and the new signing. Like, and Pinder was terrible. So. Yeah, people like that. And handsome Dan, Wasn't he paying like a hundred bucks a wolf's win last year? You must put $1,000 in there today.
Starting point is 01:17:39 Handsome. No, that's not the wolf sound. Yeah, I know. You missed it. Nothing. No super chats. Come on. It's all right.

I thought tomorrow was a day off. Well, you'd kind of talked about, well, I feel like Friday should be the day off because he's not here.
Starting point is 01:18:51 Where are you going? Oh, you're back to work, golf road trip. It's my annual idiot, loser buddy golf trip. I love it. He's the cattle. Oh, yeah, we're going to go. Yeah, every day. Let's get started.
Starting point is 01:19:04 We've got to go. all going away. Oh, that sounds great. You take one. You take Thursday. I'll take Friday. And then we'll get today. I got a golf trip that I go on every year.
Starting point is 01:19:15 I'm just jealous. It's more of a jerking trip with music. Bad, bad, that golf. God, I'm bad. I hope it's better than your snow. One day you were supposed to go golf and then it was snow. And you left real early to head out to Canada. Yeah, the old 36-fold Canaan Ascus on the greatest torrential rain day,
Starting point is 01:19:33 maybe in the history of the provincial park. I felt terrible for you. No, I think you were okay. you know you wait you got to book in so far in advance one of the most beautiful courses going you get out there with a bunch of your buddies and it rained all day i was tore up inside close to the solstice got to be a long hot day right yeah snow snow i'm still you know what i'm still not over it yeah you're broken up i can tell that's why i'm making bores because it was cold that right yeah yeah took you while but you
Starting point is 01:20:02 do it's your bones yeah so tomorrow's wednesday and then thursday and friday Okay. Well, we got to have one day. It's good noodles in. Punt right from the show tomorrow. He's going to think he's working. I'd kind of like to not do a show. I'm a big fan of the not doing shows. Yeah, the no work's tough to get out of that habit.
Starting point is 01:20:25 It feels good. Damn. Mm-hmm. Who do we ask? About what? We're taking a day. You're the boss. Jack's the boss.
Starting point is 01:20:33 I'm not the boss. Call your dad. My dad? Yeah. Talk to the foot guy. How was the show today, Jack? Highly entertaining. Really?
Starting point is 01:20:42 I think so I thought the start Ryan was a dip shit you guys yelled at them much today Pinder have a coffee in the morning Jesus Christ coffee machines down really called a shot with that clip from yesterday's show red owl it was red I was giving red props no you absolutely dropped one piece miss you to do we don't Justin Wolf signed an extension let's take a look back because we mentioned his name on yesterday's show is essentially what that broke down to Bam, boom. Look at us go.
Starting point is 01:21:14 I feel like the Warner's an idiot and said Conroy should not sign this guy for a real long time. That's the clip we're after. It might have been. Yeah. Yeah. Which, you know, I was thinking we got to get, we should start putting our head. How come? Start.
Starting point is 01:21:29 What? Go ahead. No, you're, I was. We got to start thinking about our, our hot takes, our bold takes. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, are we doing. Our spelled and hot, habanero predictions of the. Yeah, we need to get our
Starting point is 01:21:42 Ghost Pepper take. Our time capsule that we can open up at the end of the season and see how right we're going to look smart right there. Yeah. Save the clips and glute all. My favorite ever was when I thought Evander Kane, no, Patrick Kane was going to get traded out of Chicago because he was acting like it.
Starting point is 01:22:00 Yeah. He had a good little run there. What, after the first cup or something? It was pretty early. Yeah. I think he went to Minnesota and got overserved out of campus. It wasn't ideal. Who was it that drove into the Tim.
Starting point is 01:22:11 That was Ryan O'Reilly. Rada, right. Yep. It was after the Flames Offership fiasco. Right. Very early in his Sabers tenure. Sabers. Sabers.
Starting point is 01:22:21 I got a hot take on the Sabres. Do you really? Oh, God, I'm worried about the Sabres. I'll talk about it later than we. Okay. Like, it's for the, for the bold predictions or just in general? It's not really bold prediction, but yeah, I have great concern for Rets. Don't forget.
Starting point is 01:22:36 Dane. He doesn't like to play. Make believe. I know he doesn't. It's hard. It's very difficult for it. To play, pretend, and have a hard, hot take. Well, can I have some more parameters?
Starting point is 01:22:51 I think we need some context. Context is crucial. Is it on a Tuesday or a Thursday? Because which ways the wind blowing? People's sleep patterns are different. Is the humidity in the air? He's going to be good. Is there any possibility that the Yankees and the Jays would play?
Starting point is 01:23:09 Yeah, it could be the ALDS. Let's go. Let's go. If it shakes down, today, and again, there's like 19 games, 20 games, whatever it is for most teams. It would be Red Sox Yankees wild card, which would be insane. Because those fans got maybe the greatest rivalry based on. I'd be happier with the Red Sox Blue Jays wild card.
Starting point is 01:23:29 I see what you're saying. I'm just saying today. And that could happen. The Yankees are only two back. Red Sox are three and a half back. But if you had Red Sox Yankees in a wild card, the high team would host all three. It's the best of three. That would be in the Bronx.
Starting point is 01:23:39 Those two teams have history hundreds of years long. It's incredible. And then the Jays have faced the winner of that. But again, you've got to win that division. You don't want to have to go into a wildcard one of those teams. That's dangerous. Dangerous. Dangerous.
Starting point is 01:23:51 That's a tricky business, that. And then on the other side, you'd have Seattle, Houston, two A.L. West rivals. That guy's still hitting homers, eh? Cowellie. Jesus. Big dumper, yeah. The big dumper is still going yard.
Starting point is 01:24:04 He's having a catcher season for the ages. Anyone in the home run, yeah? God. I think 49 was the previous catcher high for bombs. That's impressive stuff. Pretty good. Yeah. Mariners got a good pitching staff too.
Starting point is 01:24:16 Well, let's go the way we always end shows with the RET's top five. Yeah, RET's top five. What do you have in the top five today, Retro? Top five wings at mugshots, let's say. Number five, I like the soy. Soy sensation it's called, folks.
Starting point is 01:24:35 I know what you probably think. It's like I'm really out of, you like soy sauce. And it's not, it's not overpower. It's not crazy, salty. It's just, it's very nice. Good pick. almost need to go back over all the diff.
Starting point is 01:24:47 There are still so many. Look at that. I just got a text. Do you still need work? That would suggest you were actually looking for work. I don't know this person. Anyway, soy might bounce around. Okay. You'll go higher on the list if you want.
Starting point is 01:25:09 I've had the Greek there. I think I've liked the Greek. The Greek is good. I got to go with this hot. You have to have to hand. have just a standard hot in this they have the one that doesn't it come with the sour cream and the bacon oh dill pickles my i was going to deal pickle was going to be next and then the honey hot is so sneaky good sorry it's your top five you want to make a top five no so a hot
Starting point is 01:25:39 barbecue or i like that it's a mix of barbecue and hot half hot and the dill pickle i like the dill pickle So good. It's good top five. Soy, Greek, standard hot, dill pickle, half hot, half barbecue. And you can have whatever else you want to because you're good. Yeah. If you do see Rhett, a word of caution, it is a lot like SeaWorld. If you sit within two or three rows, there will be food.
Starting point is 01:26:02 Shrapnel. Yeah, you can. It can happen. Sign the waiver. That's a hard. That's a hard sign to see. Look at all the flavors. Oh.
Starting point is 01:26:15 You want to run, give us a quick run through here, bud? Mug shots. Salt, Yeah. Mug shots. Salt and pepper. Suicide. Mugshots, barbecue jack. Munk shots mix up. All dressed, which I like as well, all dressed hot, Asian orange barbecue, barbecue, barbecue hot, black pepper and salt, Cajun, Cajun suicide. Chilla lime, crack pepper and lime, dill pickle, dill hot, electric, garlic, garlic, palm, Greek, honey, garlic, honey, hot, honey, surroghud, suicide. Who, loady. Terriaki, whiskey, maple bacon.
Starting point is 01:26:48 I don't see your uh sour cream and onion that's the one that's the one add bacon yeah I'm doing it throw it in the top 5 teen get rid of the Greek are you are you going to add bacon jack how was a show to do I have a question actually what do you do when someone steals your Amazon package that happened to me oh shoot did you have a porch pirate they didn't take the whole thing I had like the bag and they opened it and took it out just an empty bag i guess you're idiot and left the bag yeah
Starting point is 01:27:34 hmm guess you got to order another flashlight then huh you gotta get one of those bear traps and you set it out there and you put the as soon as they pick it up take arm right off now teach you cloud law cloud dash law dot com but sure we're recommending bear traps for it's your property do what you want yeah or sit up night with a it's a real problem though right be gun it is what's going on in your neighbor jack i don't like or what's you're gonna steal it just take the whole thing i don't like how he left the bag for me just this the problem for me is that i order so much shit i don't even know yeah
Starting point is 01:28:12 yeah people could be taking half of the stuff that you order but i feel like i've ordered this four times but what's to say that was in buffalo and the window was behind him every day they go oh there's the delivery try go oh damn shoveling DEMMIT. So easy. Let's go buy something right now. Good job, Bezos. Like everybody hates us.
Starting point is 01:28:37 Hey. Us or him? Tip your cap. People love being lazy and you made this. He's getting stuff. Don't have to leave your house. Yeah. What would you buy today?
Starting point is 01:28:52 Goodbye. Big neon sign. Ooh. A bodega cooler. Look at that. What do we need for in here? This? What are the drinks we could have?
Starting point is 01:29:08 A shovel? It's a lot. Oh, yeah. That's a lot. All right, let's go. I got Borsh to do. We're just going to sit here and do nothing. All right.
Starting point is 01:29:21 So I guess there's a show tomorrow. Oh, look at this in the New York Times. One of Pender's summer interviews must have inspired the New York Times. Not really. Bert Gilling is in the New York Times. Amazing. As the NCAA raids talent, what happens to junior hockey? Quote, it's a little bit scary, end quote.
Starting point is 01:29:42 By the way, I won't say anything. I'll grab it. I'll get somebody to grab it. I'll talk about getting points. One of our people. Yeah. I don't know if I don't do it. But talking about interviews from the summer.
Starting point is 01:29:58 Some good stuff from the last one that just went up. If you haven't seen it. Germain? That was awesome. Yeah. which means a great guy good clips out there from that yeah and maybe one on tomorrow's show good yeah we'll do that tomorrow do you want to rethink your uh because i'll ask you again i want your honest honest opinion how is the show today jack highly entertaining how do you think the show was
Starting point is 01:30:28 it's dean i mean he thinks it sucked well we've had to start by completely apologizing for something ridiculous we said on the last show what's it ridiculous and then we somehow all agreed but yet managed to mildly argue about the the wolf it contract like everybody is it great yes but oh let's just tap the brakes because we could probably disagree if we try hard enough I think we all like that contract and then the Pinder report came around I didn't that was injurious rasmus anderson take it like an angry rasmus um yeah and then there was some tic-tok stuff that showed up and then we all kind of ran out of energy i'm done yeah that's now we're here jack's got a pole running i didn't eat i don't eat on mondays but i ate yesterday
Starting point is 01:31:22 because it was some sort of weird can't eat how was the uh take today off not tomorrow for us wing day go for wings tomorrow how did you map out your that thing we talked about yesterday Yeah, I ended up doing a whole lot of F-all Went out for supper and then Went back to bed Yeah Just like you said I over 8.
Starting point is 01:31:43 I just said, sorry, babe Double dinner Because it was it something special yesterday? No, wow, I don't know if 20 years is spent it. Yeah, 20 years. I got eight years today. Hey, today? That's why he's such a prick today.
Starting point is 01:31:57 That's why you're in such a good mood. I wonder what was going on when it was all sappy music coming out kitchen at seven oh boy if you want to fight wait till you get home don't fight with us yeah all that shit you got going on in your life drag it in here take it out on them that's what i mean that's where it's coming from let it just leave it there tonight's the annual watch the wedding video with the kids nights oh my goodness i don't get an extra room on the couch if you want to come over with that you watch the
Starting point is 01:32:24 consummating of first and that that video it's uh ceremony conception video this. Oh, shh. Honey! Wedding video, not wedding night. You want some of my borsh?
Starting point is 01:32:46 I do. All right. I'll drop. Will you? Well, you think, buddy. Thanks,
Starting point is 01:32:50 that's good, a dip for borsh. Friends. There's some major drama going on at my host that I need to figure out. Your front lawn issues now. He's not heard of back. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:58 I thought you had the front lawn off figured out. Oh, that sounded smooth sailing. I was back with smooth sailing. Let's suffice to say, it is not smooth sailing. Can we get some video for tomorrow's show? How do you?
Starting point is 01:33:11 Let's get some video. This is so simple. We can whiteboard this. Rattle gets a telestrator. We'll walk through the whole thing. I'll just kind of, now, because you saw my phone's been ringing.
Starting point is 01:33:19 Yeah. Yeah. Don't want to get to that. That's where you're still. Yeah, do you want. Because we're doing backyard work. And then people beside us said,
Starting point is 01:33:28 you know what? Why don't we just do the front yard take? Do I just put the wrong? Just do. Yeah. Yeah, probably. Okay, we'll get a quote. So,
Starting point is 01:33:38 So, um, wait for the getting, like we got the quote this morning. Neighbors were like, a little more than we're prepared to spend. So we're going to hold off. Take team. Trouble being the excavators have already taken on the front yard out. Can they put it back? No. No.
Starting point is 01:34:01 They didn't roll it up and do a nice sod roll. They can just roll it right back down. Don't think so. Oh, dear. Sorry about that, do you know. So you've got Borsh. And I got some bullshit to get home and deal with where we're at, I think. He's rushing home and you're stolen to get home.
Starting point is 01:34:15 Yeah, that'll make sense. Well, if you want to stall any more time, come watch that wedding video with me. No. See you, buddies.
