Hello, friends. Welcome to another edition of Barn Burner here on wherever you're watching, you're listening.
Same usual time, same usual channel. It is a, it is a snowy Monday. We are all points.
We're not together, which makes us sad. Regrettably. Yeah, that's real tough. Yeah. Good news we were together last night because we knew that today could happen like this.
That's right. We got to share some. We made time for each other. Some cue time, some quality time. Yeah, here we are.
This show is a presentation of Bet365.
What do you want to do?
You want a game props.
You want player props.
You want the totals.
You want the money line.
You want to play.
It's whatever it is.
It's never ordinary.
At Bet365, download the app, get in in the game.
You must be 19 or older in order to take it.
And as we are live, you can jump into the super chats, a little bit of dough.
You lay it down.
We'll get the money to the U.S.
A nice little donation for them.
And then we'll take your comment and put her on the show and probably make fun.
have some snide, snarky comments about whatever it is that you think.
Or they'll absolutely blow our minds with their depth of knowledge.
Could be.
Complements.
What about recipes?
No one has us sent in a recipe yet.
No.
Big fat guy brought cheesecake, but.
You eat their cheesecake yet?
No.
No, it's in the fridge.
Safe drive to a big fat guy.
He had about a nine hour track after leaving Cowboys Casino.
last night.
How about you bring the Thursday?
Oh, it won't last till Thursday.
Cheesecake won't stay?
Fridge?
Good to know.
Or is that your stomach?
I'm saying in this house.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
A cheesecake is not going to last until Thursday.
That it's still there is kind of a surprise.
That it lasted through breakfast.
That would have been a run-of-the-mill breakfast probably for people that live here.
Hey, we're here in the McLeodlaw, LLP Studios.
McLeodlaw, taking good care of you.
whether it's business or personal, big or small,
they're the best there is.
The best there was and the best there ever will be.
They trademark that.
Yeah.
And they would know how.
Yeah, they would know how to trademark.
It's true.
Sorry to Brett.
That's kind of a, gosh.
Not a way to start off his day or his week had news there.
Montreal screw job again.
It's a rugpole for sure.
Yeah, no doubt about it.
Yeah, we are, we're doing some.
Now, Pinter doesn't have a home studio, so he is in studio,
but it's very close to his home.
The rest of us are from home today, as it is a snow day in Calgary.
It really is, yeah.
I had the eight block commute, and there was a lot of chaos.
I'm like, who are these boys?
Don't do it.
Don't do it.
How's the construction?
Are they, uh, we're good.
Yeah.
I mean, they're going to build some new towers around here, but all the city stuff's been
done for a bit.
New restaurants are opening.
I just meeting in Mardaloup today.
I'm wondering how the,
oh, see, I'm coming in from the Eastie.
And so I would think, oh, yeah, you wouldn't even know there's anything
going on. That's what I was told. You were aware of that?
Just all the people that come in
from the West, a bunch of fucking complaints.
All these turds coming in from the suburbs
moaning about traffic and other neighborhoods, right?
Yeah. All you city folk. Just walk, you losers.
That's right. The bike lines are plowed
early today. Get out and let's go.
Trots of space.
That's right. But not everybody.
I mean, we had a great November.
No, you can't be
down. Can't be sad. The snow is here.
It was very, it was very, it was very
balmy, September, October, and most of November was tremendous.
Mm-hmm.
So winter has arrived and we can't really bitch.
It's put a huge wrinkle in our ice flooding attempts this week because flooding on a foot of snow, ret.
Tough.
Tough.
Yeah.
It's like, do you want some like eight foot massive bumps of ice?
Because that's not going to work.
So now what's, what do you guys do?
I think we got to shovel it off first and then flood.
Yeah. So we'll wait for the snow to stop falling.
Gotcha.
Not everybody is upset to see the snow.
It's nice.
I have a Bernice Mountain Dog.
Oh, yeah.
They run hot.
Summertime, you have to watch them.
Make sure you don't leave them outside because they can overheat.
They do love colder weather.
And this is the dummy that lives in my house.
Oh, just it's nonstop.
We are still back.
The neighbors.
The neighbors.
This is not neglect.
Don't call the SPCA or whatever it is that they're just leaving their dog outside all day.
They don't even, I don't know.
Look at him.
Just happy as good.
Look at him.
Oh, God.
Living his best life, Dino.
You know what this is?
This is you in Nashville.
Look at how happy he is.
That's his best life he's living.
And then he'll come in long enough to just kind of shake snow all over the place and make a mess and then go.
back outside again. Yeah, that sounds great. Yeah. So there you go. That's your warm
fuzzy today. What a beauty. The dog. That's a real dog. That's not one of those dogs that needs
batteries that you see under the Christmas tree. Yeah, you would, you wonder sometimes,
though. He's not the smartest. He doesn't be a dog. He's a decent boy. Um, we were at
Cowboys Casino last night.
We had
a little
special edition of Barnburner
prior to. We sat in one game.
We had some chow. We sat in the recliners.
Had a good visit with Joel Atto
and even Rhett Warner was there.
Made a slight appearance.
A splash. People were pretty happy to
have me. They were pretty excited to see you.
Brett was hobnobbing. People were seeking
autographs. He was schoozing.
He was greasing over. All kinds of people.
Talking flames owners, all kinds of crazy stuff.
A lot of dusters in town for the CHL game.
Oh, yeah, that's right.
Top prospects, Canada, USA.
Top.
Dean, top prospect.
Top prospect.
Top, yeah, not just cross.
You were playing one of these,
they didn't have this one.
Yeah, they didn't have been to the, or I would have for sure.
Tots.
Yeah.
Because they used to have the CHL and maybe they still do, but this is a different,
this is a different animal, right?
This one?
Yeah.
No, they still have a CHL, yeah.
Yeah.
The one this week is the U.S.
This is Canadian pride is on the line here.
Oh, apparently.
Americans, they compile all their kids into one big team of elite all-stars.
They're up here in Canada.
My buddy, Jay McKee, helping coach the squad for the Canadians.
Cheese balls.
Cheese balls.
They got them real busy.
Can't even get them away for a sasparilla.
Unbelievable.
Can't steal him for some cheese toast?
That's stuff right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Tockey Canada.
It's just a sad.
Sad to hear it.
They're too busy keeping their best players of the world junior team.
Why is he so busy?
I guess that's,
you know,
yeah.
Yeah.
Last week,
Thursday specifically,
and then even into Friday,
Friday was a little more tame.
Thursday,
dander was up a little bit.
They were kind of angry,
you know,
just,
Like your dog, you run hot, Dean.
Yeah, I run hot.
I've since simmered down.
Yeah.
Um, you know what Don Maloney's doing right now?
Chortling.
Given, given old fat boy in the middle finger.
Jeez.
Hey, rebuild this, Tubby.
Is he got the Totoosos?
A totoe.
A totoe. A totoe. A totoe.
This you? Hey, this you?
Is this you said, hey, tank boy?
Is this you?
On the old internet, sir?
Yeah. Maybe you just leave the
hockey team building stuff to
us and you just stick to your basement
and your YouTube's okay? Because
we're on a three game heater.
Yeah. We're going out to Florida, living our best life.
You stay in Calgary in the snow
and plan on losing a bunch of games.
You lose her. We'll be out here winning.
Yeah. The winners are out in FLA.
That's right.
with all that glorious sunshine.
Sunshine.
I would like to think they don't listen or hear anything that you,
I, or Pender say ever.
Probably for the best if they didn't.
But you know what?
Elliot has the big podcast that he does.
And he came on today and said that was entirely a self-inflicted wound by the
Calgary Flames.
And that was kind of the point I think we all agreed on.
It's like you didn't have to come out and do that performative interview.
You could have just said, we'll pass.
or put someone else in front of the camera.
And yeah, they're up in 31st.
So I guess they can really prove us wrong here.
It's a nice run of play,
but it doesn't mean that you're going to be rolling
at a 700 clip the rest of the way to get to 97 points
or whatever you were set on.
It's been an interesting few days for sure.
Because on the Wednesday,
the Don Maloney has the chat with Parker.
And like a lot of people, including us,
were like, hmm, what's going on here?
Say what?
That's sort of a reaction.
What was it?
Say what?
Would you talk about Willis?
Something like that, as the kids say.
Anyway, and then, yeah, then they go and they beat Buffalo.
And then, yeah, we'll wait until, and I said, wait until, what happens when they play teams like Dallas?
What's going to happen?
Well, they beat Dallas, and then they go into Vancouver.
And I don't think Vancouver is very good.
We kind of sat as a individual's end a group last night and kind of looked at it.
We.
I don't think these Canucks are very good.
The flames, an impressive win last night.
They go and score five times.
That's a lot.
Five to win over the Vancouver Canucks.
The Canucks are one, four, and two in their last seven.
They love to disinterested, Dean.
Yeah, they're injured, disinterested, and I don't know that they were very good to begin with.
That's a triple header of that goal tender can really let them in.
Yeah.
Kevin letting them in?
Yeah, that's, uh, the, the backland to Coleman goal we were saying last night,
that's probably not a goal that should go in in the NHL.
There's a few of those.
How many goals?
It was, it was kind of, you can watch it here.
I don't know, maybe, maybe if you're in the net, you see it differently as they're coming down,
but pretty much, okay, well, that's, I mean, that, that's quite a pass.
And from here, like, you know there's one play.
Yeah.
He's sifting it to the middle and he's going to just try and tip it.
And it's still fooled everybody.
What is that pass?
Back it up.
Yeah, we got a red whiteboard.
This is not even whiteboard material.
No, we need your expert.
You played, buddy.
You played.
Come on, walk us through it.
Well, it's that, that ref in that far corner.
He distracted him.
It's all right.
Just couldn't.
He just thought he was getting.
Somebody was on Casamigos.
Yes.
What is it doing?
The jerseys aren't near the same color.
one is very black and one is very white.
Yeah, there seems to be.
Yeah.
When you don't wear your contacts, Dino, you can get confused.
And you know what?
You want to relax on the power plate.
Don't rush it.
Just be patient.
Yeah.
So this is, let's see now.
Stop.
Oh.
Yeah, it was never getting.
Really, it was never had a chance.
The defenseman was not.
Hmm.
Brock.
Rock Lobster.
Now, you're still,
you're not in terrible shape, Brett.
No, it seems okay.
Oh.
The thing about the tipping that you guys alluded to,
not going in,
like at no point does Kevin Lettnaman ever think this is a shot on him.
He knows this is a play to get tipped.
And it's on the ice going right to the middle of the slot.
Like, go to the middle, get big.
What are we doing?
Like, what?
How is he fooled on this play?
Why are you deep?
Oh, is it in?
Oh.
Wait, I didn't show it any long.
He's laughing.
They're laughing at them.
He's got a fight.
He's in the box.
They score short-handed.
Oh, life is good.
That is so, oh.
Where's Backland going?
Who's going to the net there after the puck goes in?
Are they beacon the goal?
That was the 300th point in Blake Collins' career.
So he went and grabbed this.
That's captain's duties, right.
You got to know who's close to the milestones.
Yeah, we'll leave that one in.
They were back patting the,
themselves really hard for the Kevin Lankan signing and traded Arthur
Shilovs for a ham sandwich to Pittsburgh.
No, no, that was as good as they thought it was.
The only thing that would make this better is if Elias Pedersen was Evan Bouchard somehow.
Yeah.
If that would be, that would be the best, the best case scenario.
That was a Coleman goal in the third period short-handed that made it four to two, I believe,
at that point.
No, that was the five-two goals.
sort of 5-1 at that point, and then Quinn Hughes would score shortly thereafter.
We've been hacking on the wrong team, Dino.
Canucks are not good.
We should be all over the Canucks.
We should be Sell Hughes, get them out.
Honestly, like, it's not even a joke.
Like, they know that he wants to go play with his brothers.
Clearly, New Jersey is in a position much better than the Vancouver Canucks are.
His two brothers are locked in long term there.
And it's like, when do you get the most for Quinn Hughes?
Because you can definitely ride him to UFA.
But, like, they don't have a system, like,
the flames have started to build.
It's ugly. And he's gone.
Like, I don't, why would you stay?
Why would you stay there?
Like, if you're winning, hell yeah.
You would have to give me double the, well.
Think of a little.
Patterson's getting 100 points and J.T. Miller and him get along,
and he's a great power for it.
So what's his, what's his,
he's healthy, sure, but none of those things are real.
Yeah, they're not good. They look disinterested.
He doesn't want to be there to begin with.
It's Canada. I don't think he's a big fan.
I'm maybe speaking out of plays.
on a long-term deal already, though.
That's the one that's expiring.
But seafood?
But good seafood?
Yeah, well, the other ocean, there's another ocean on the other side there that's
Yeah, lobster's better there.
Hey, Red?
That's close.
Uh, yeah.
How much is he worth, like, what kind of contracts he's going to get?
And how much more would Vancouver have to offer him to keep him?
I just think if you're getting to the point where other teams are bidding against you,
like you probably already traded them because I know, but I'm just hypothetical.
I would say he's probably a.
a 16 to 18 million
dollar player if he wants to get max value.
If you can justify Caprizov at 17 and a half,
then why not one of the top two defensemen on earth
for that same number?
And the cap's going to be higher then.
So if he's, let's call it 16,
is Vancouver going to have to offer him 20
to try and keep him?
Like, is that a temptation?
Yeah, but if he doesn't want to be there,
I mean, we've always said it.
Like, if you really want to play the brothers,
go play for 18.
Just plays a fun game.
Yeah.
I don't think it's happening.
I think he's gone.
What do you think his average ice time per night is?
I just took a look.
24 and a 30.
Because sit beside Otto last night, it was the power.
Hughes isn't coming off.
Well, they pulled the goalie.
Yeah, he's not coming off, right?
27.
Oh, my God.
27 14 a night.
Oh, for Quinn Hughes.
21 points in 18 games.
He is everything is over.
And last year, he was doing it.
hurt down the stretch. Remember, he was going on one leg, putting up two, three points a night,
just trying to get them in. I mean, the whole thing is, is like, if a Quinn Hughes ever got
to the market, everyone would blow their brains out spending too much money on him. He doesn't
have to settle with the nonsense in Vancouver. There's other teams that will pay them that aren't
a circus run by a bad owner. Like, since, since we can only focus on bad, what the
F is going on in Vancouver.
That was
there was no one else
engaged in the game. Garland, maybe.
Would you?
If Andrew Kane took a penalty, we don't know what
for. It sounded like he said something offside
and chat. I didn't see him hitting anyone
or really playing hard.
They were up for Kane at the deadline last year,
said no, and then went out of him in free agency
when they swung and missed on all the guys they wanted to
bring in. Hey, look, we're still competing.
Jake Debrusk plays there.
He's on a nice little run.
Yeah.
Do we say, do we talk about Quinn Hughes?
Because he played, he's, he's, he's, I noticed Quinn a lot.
Was there two twins?
Should we mention him twice?
30, 30 minutes last night.
30.05.
Don't recall a lot coming from Elias Petterson.
Any of the Pedersons, quite honestly.
There's three of them.
So Elias, Elias and Marcus.
Yeah.
Yeah, maybe that's the team we should be talking about draft lotteries and, uh, yeah.
They're right in it.
And now look, that's as bad as they're going to look.
because they're missing a lot of guys.
Like when Demko was in there,
it was like,
it looked like the Mika years in Calgary.
You're like,
there's just enough talent
where if our goal is way better
than the other goalie,
we can win some games.
That's what they were.
Now Demko's gone and it's like,
shit,
this is not pretty at all.
And they're missing Philippa.
He's supposed to be their two-see,
but he's always hurt.
Can't be surprised he's hurt.
There's some other body's missing.
That's as bad as Vancouver's going to look.
And they just got back from a huge road trip.
First game back.
Rett's great excuse.
they got more time off here.
We'll see if they turn it around.
But I mean, they're just not that good to begin with.
If Demko is not going to be active in the first start,
I wonder what, I'm always curious when management move on and they kind of,
they, you know, a GM or whatever is in a spot and then they leave.
And because the thought is, well, we're going to do better when this person leaves,
you know, for a guy former management that maybe worked in Vancouver,
but now is sitting somewhere and watching the team have a similar or even worse fate than.
Well, they've had a lot of people.
running the team. Is there anyone specific you'd like to hear from?
I'm just trying to think. I don't remember.
I wasn't.
You know, like the thing with Alcavalvas, Trev wanted to rebuild, but like he was really key
on like season ticket base and stuff. So like we had to keep pushing to make the playoffs
and competing and Treve opened some of those workout places of fitness center and stuff.
Yeah. Didn't, uh, didn't old Jim, did he draft Quinn Hughes? Was that a,
I think he may have.
I think he may have.
Patterson and he was pretty tight.
They weren't trying to rebuild.
They just were bad and they got those two guys.
That helps.
And there is, again, because we've talked a lot about the trajectory of the flames and what are they?
Is it what kind of a culture, winning, losing?
They had a special kind of a run a couple years ago in the playoffs.
In the Nashville did.
They played each other.
Yeah.
Right.
And now here they are.
That's a pretty quick fall from grace.
Or was that, was that, was that, uh,
What do they call it?
Lightning in a bucket, right?
Did they have lightning in a bucket?
Yes, usually it's lightning in a bucket.
Yeah.
They were up three, two, against the Oilers.
They did not have Demcoe.
Besser missed game seven with blood clots.
They had a chance to bury the stinking oilers, didn't do it.
And I'm sure Oilers fans are now taking credit for ruining the Canucks.
So you think if it was a great situation out in Vancouver, old Rick Tockett might have.
He saw what was going on.
Right?
Like, no, I'm out of here.
So is this more of the same or is this now the owner?
They're dogs breakfast.
They're top guys soft and doesn't give a shit other than not Hughes,
the guy they pay the most money.
Top forward, yeah.
Yeah.
And their other difference makers hurt all the time.
So. And then I think it's a bunch of muck.
Yeah.
If you had prime peterson like invested cares peterson,
Quinn Hughes and Healthy Thatcher Demco,
you can build from that.
They have one of those three things right now.
So only because we've talked.
the better part of last week and, you know, for this season about what the flames should do if they're going to, if this is how it's going to be.
Now, yeah, they've won some games.
But Don Maloney said he's not interested in taking it down to the studs and the culture, the winning culture is important to have.
How do, how would you compare the Canucks?
And again, we're basing it off of one appearance from last one.
They're one and one.
They've played twice.
Vancouver shall act them in the first one.
So I don't want to overreact to one game or one team was uninspired and hurt.
And I think Demko makes a difference, but I think that they're, I think their offensive driver up front is not even close to what he pretended to be for a while.
I have no idea why this guy can't play hockey anymore.
He does not look engaged at all.
And again, I've watched the two games, the flames have played against them.
So maybe there's been bad outings.
but when your top guys aren't helping you,
you're done, you're cooked.
Like,
you can't have it.
How much does that Pedersen make?
10 and a half, 11 million bucks?
And he's a no show.
He's having a better year without J.T. Miller.
Yeah, but what's that?
This is turning into a hubrital thing where it's like,
well,
I'm going to work on my defensive side of the.
No,
I just think,
like where is he,
is he around a point per game,
do you know?
Like,
I don't have it in front of me.
Sorry,
Elias Peterson.
Yeah.
He has,
uh,
20,
I think it's 20 and 23 now.
Yeah. So if you get him to 80, that's okay.
But I understand rest restoration.
Like he's a player that the more you talk to people around Vancouver,
they're like, he's very good at hockey.
It's definitely not his passion.
He doesn't burn to win.
And so when you get him right and vibes are good,
he can be an absolute difference maker.
And at times he's been that this year.
But last night would have been, you know,
like watching the flames when they went one, seven and one.
And they just, it looked awful.
There might be a league trend where these guys are highly, highly, highly skilled.
And some days they just don't feel like it.
So I'm not going to do it.
I don't know.
Like when I look at the-
You can do that, Ryan.
It's okay to question whether they work their ass off.
I think he, he, yes.
There's just lots of guys that don't do that.
Like he is notoriously flaky.
I don't look at Celebrity and Bada are the same way.
And frankly, he didn't go one.
So maybe I should-
Yeah, but I'm not saying everyone.
but there's you can watch the Buffalo Sabres
who have had an interesting week.
Did they look engaged?
And I mean, it's 80s.
You watch their one loss in their last five.
They didn't.
And they were tied after 40,
but they like I think there has always been flaky players in this league.
And it's just bright lights in Vancouver when you're making this much money.
And it's like, yeah.
Well, yeah.
Anyway, like Alex Semin was notoriously flaky.
That was 15 years ago.
I don't know that that's changed.
But yeah, like it's a different athlete.
They're, you know, these guys are independent contractors.
or the agents from the age of what, 13?
Like, that's crazy.
Anyway, I can see the chat.
They look, could you please not just, that's enough about Vancouver.
I just thought it was curious because we've talked a lot about just the flames in their life cycle.
What are they?
Are you, is it a re-biggle?
Are you sticking with the program?
What are you doing?
Vancouver's probably got their own.
So have you seen anything?
Because obviously we came out.
What are they talking about?
They got a, this is the.
I'm not phased.
I feel the same way.
We were sitting watching the game last night.
And it's like, they're playing hard.
And they have been for them out.
There were a few games during that, whatever was,
the seven or eight games skid where it looked like they may not win all season.
But you knew at some point you win games, you play better.
And that's what we're seeing is they're winning games and they are playing better.
It's the rodeo analogy.
I didn't like the bull last night.
But yeah, the flames as the bull rider.
looked strong last night.
I don't know what to expect on this road trip.
I think I know what to expect.
But is there any part of,
is there any part of you that thinks that we overreacted that?
I've believed it for a decade.
It's recently, you've watched a bunch of losses
and it's just easy to slide into that way of thinking.
No, since Goddrow and them left, I don't,
you can't compare yourself to Dallas.
because you're not a winning team.
You can't say we like the Dallas model when you don't win.
So what Don said there is completely out to lunch, in my opinion.
I don't, again, I don't care so much what he said,
but you can't say you're Dallas.
You're just not.
You'd like to be Dallas.
I think everyone would be Dallas.
Hey, let's just draft some stars in the late first round.
Cool, like easy to say, very hard to do.
Yeah.
And have you been doing?
Have you been a lock for the playoffs for the last decade?
like what are we talking about.
Now, I don't think, I asked you guys that a few days ago,
maybe last week, are the flames as bad as they've been playing or a 32nd place team?
Maybe they're not a 30 second place team,
but they're still a position to have a decade of deep playoff runs.
So my opinion on the team is still the same.
You need stars and you can go and look at who wins in the playoffs.
And they build those teams out.
and they're really, Tampa Bay did it, Colorado did it,
Vegas, a bit of a different animal because they had to come into the league.
Every cup winner's got multiple top five picks that are huge contributors.
And whether they added them in trade, but via smart management or whether they draft themselves,
that's just a fact.
Evan Lus St. Louis had, you know, like Beaumester and some really good pie in talent there.
And the positioning of the age of the players that the flames have,
doesn't go inside with
anything
you're expecting diminishing
returns for Huberto
Cadre, Colman, Weiger
Anderson because they're on the wrong side of 30
guys don't have career years after
30 9 times out of 10 yes
G.O won in Norris of 35
that's pretty much the O'Don didn't win a Stanley
Cup at 35 so I don't
I understand what you're saying there
I always make a stipulation
that's not team success
that's one guy
Yeah, and they got what,
Flamed out in the second or first round?
They didn't win a, they've not had a deep run.
Like it's,
No. It's a little bit
talking down to your fan base when you suggest
that what you've built is a winning culture.
What it really is, it's mediocrity
that you've been bad enough
that you feel like is winning culture.
Winning culture is making the playoffs consistently,
winning rounds, getting deep into the postseason.
They haven't done that since 2004.
So if Don Maloney thinks 550,
hockey and a wild card or third in your division is winning culture, that might be a big problem
about why they don't want to rebuild. They seem to think that's good enough. That's what those
comments really rubbed me the wrong way on. That's not winning culture. Oh, they like each other.
Great. Now can you win? Because also that'll help the bottom line, which I know we care about too.
It's exactly how I felt when I read that. And again, we're really kind of dissecting comments and
it's maybe unfair to Maloney because he did a couple interviews and we were still talking about it.
But I can appreciate what he's saying.
If you're going to have younger players,
you want them in an environment where the culture and the mood is a positive one.
And we've seen maybe Vancouver,
things are toxic and it can be tough on younger players and all that.
You don't want that.
But to talk about we need, we don't need fewer cadres.
We need more cadres.
We want a winning culture.
You've missed the play.
This looks, you're on track to miss for the fifth straight year or fourth.
I mean, this is not a winning.
You may have, so I was going to ask you, Retro, I asked Ryan yesterday, I mean, you played, you've been in rooms, you've talked to guys.
Can you have strong and good culture, strong culture with a team that doesn't win a lot?
Because this is not, this is not winning culture.
That's the difference.
Can you have a good culture where everyone gets along, I guess?
Yeah, we missed the playoffs once in Buffalo.
We were all best friends.
And if you ask any of the guys that were on that team, they loved each other.
So can you?
Sure.
Let's golf and make.
This is great.
Like, you're not winning.
What the fuck's that do for the fans?
And the bottom line.
The bills back to the bottom line thing where it's like, kiss my ass.
So you want me to buck up?
Like, that's the real problem where it's like,
that's not a winning culture.
Happy to support the team.
And he can come turn around and say, well,
is bringing in a bunch of 18 year olds going to create a winning?
Maybe not.
I think he's right when he says you have to hit on your picks.
And whether it's pick 18 or pick 8, you better do well or maybe even pick 38.
But you can't sell us on this BS that this is a winning culture and this is.
But it's frustrating because we shouldn't even be dissecting it anymore.
It's old news.
But it does bring out some emotion because you're like, what you're, I don't agree with what he's saying.
he's entitled to say what he wants.
I understand his points of view.
He's not bullshitting,
but I don't agree with it.
I've said it for a long time.
I've said,
fuck, I said trade Gjerdano
and people who went ballistic.
And maybe I'm wrong,
but you ended up with nothing for it.
Zero.
Zero for that guy.
You've hung on to guys too long in the past
and turned them into nothing.
It's not asset management.
And I don't think it's a forward-thinking,
approach to the game.
And look, to your point,
you're billionaire, you own the team,
you hire the people you want,
they can go speak in front of the media
whenever they want.
Just don't be surprised when there's a massive backlash
when you choose to do that.
When you want to call mediocrity winning culture,
this is what you're going to get.
When you want to put someone out there
when you're in 32nd in a 32nd in a 32nd
32 team league and talk about,
you know, working harder and being a good team,
this is what you're going to get.
You didn't have to do that.
No one said, okay, it's, it's pooh
day everyone has to put their president out in front of a camera and talk.
That was your decision.
Elliot Friedman, you know, this guy covers a whole league, self-inflicted wounds.
Doesn't inspire confidence in the organization when you know.
Unless, unless I did think about this, here's the caveat.
I love that word.
Do you know, you know, I do?
Maybe he's a goddamn genius.
Well, I did say that.
What if he's playing chess and we're playing chess and we're playing?
What of his saying was, I'm going to go out there and I'm going to say it and it's
going to be us versus the world.
Because this is going to cause a shitstorm.
Three in a row.
Three in a row.
Which only further aggravates those who had an issue with the comments in the first place.
Well, I don't think you're a very good team.
What are you talking about?
We just won three in a row.
What are you talking about?
Well, I mean, there's a bigger picture.
Why don't you leave the winning culture stuff to us?
And you just do whatever it is that you do, you know.
it's like they say right if you listen to the fans soon you'll be sitting with them you know that old
that old chestnut from for management folk uh we'll see how it uh how it goes but look they've
they've deserved the wind the other thing men and this is not going to be breaking news i look
this morning to see so what what are we watching what's what's happening here they've now got
uh what is it eight wins is that where we uh where we uh where we
we sit now as far as these standings are concerned.
Yeah, they get two shootout wins and six in reg, I believe.
The shootout win in Edmonton.
8.13 and 3 is the record now.
Second last.
Proved you wrong.
Ha ha! Ha! Ha! Suck it!
I went through the victories this morning and I'll kind of run through,
and I don't know that you'll pick up on the common thread, but I think there is one.
Remember opening night in a shootout, they win four three over the Oilers.
That was kind of almost gift wrapped for them in a way.
It sure was.
Wins over the 5-1 against the Rangers, 2-1 Flyers, 5-1 Columbus, 2-0-0-San-Oz-0-San-Oz-2-Bullo, 6-2 Buffalo, 3-2 Dallas, 5-2 Vancouver.
I see one playoff team in there.
Is that where you're going?
I'm also looking at the goals against.
When the goal he pitches a shutout allows just one or maybe two,
that's how they're winning
and we talked about it last night
Cooney's been very good he's got a couple of wins
he allowed two against Dallas and two against the Sabres
two last night for Wolf a two nothing shutout
5-1-2-1 it's still a team that
if you if you give up
if you can pitch some shutouts or some one goal games
we might have a shot
of that's how they're going to have
that's any team in the league if your goalie wants to be first
star. Yeah, you could beat some teams.
No, but there's no other victories
in there, is what I'm saying.
Yeah, so they've got eight wins,
seven against teams not in a playoff spot, and their goalie
was great in all them. Yeah.
It sounds like most bad teams. A lot
has to go right.
So, can the goaltending
with that said,
is that kind of the kind of goaltending they can rely
on? Well, if they're only
going to get eight out of 23 games,
I mean, I think you could expect that.
More importantly, can they rely on the other
team's goaltender to play like Kevin Letterman did live.
Kevin Letterman.
Yeah, who are the...
Smith, the backup in Dallas, but he's posted some nice numbers.
They got a third stringer in Buffalo they beat.
I don't know.
They have to...
They're 31st.
In the league history win games.
They don't go 0 and 82.
Like, their signature win, Devin Cooley saved them from a defeat.
Everyone else is a dud team.
beat at the moment. I think Edmonton
will figure us out.
They shouldn't have won that game.
No, they had a 3-0 halfway through. They gave
it to them.
Anyway.
I don't want to cheer against
them. I know. It feels like
it's a
us versus them, and I don't
think they actually give a shit about us at all.
So it's very much. But they've won three in a row
and they were impressive last night and
we're kind of, hmm.
Boo.
a little bit because we
because we've planted our flag
in the one side in the
you need to you need a high pick
you need to turn this thing around by
selling and picking high
and they seemingly
again maybe he's maybe they're smarter
than us they've planted their flag seemingly
that no we're that's what losers do
losers don't try to lose we're not
subscribing to that. So losers are the top
of the leading scoreboard in the NHL
losers that drafted
celebrini and Bader and
Kennan and David and Carlson.
What a bunch of losers, those teams.
I, honest to God, it's our biggest fear and certainly mine is that I,
I didn't think they were 32nd.
Calibur, like, they were really bad in October.
Yeah.
Yep.
And that they're going to try and ride this out and they'll climb.
And there's certainly no guarantees.
I think that the interesting thing for me was that when we're in the muck,
you're like, well, even if you finish dead last, what is it, 25% chance of the number one.
So it was kind of like, well, that's not high.
And dead last teams have rarely gotten the first overall pick.
So maybe that's irrelevant.
But I don't think you want to climb too high.
And I think this team will have enough wins at the end of the day.
You'll be like, well, you did it again.
I don't know.
Like I think they're in a group with a lot of other teams similar.
like Nashville's got the GMF bombing as players.
They need to be better.
Vancouver when they're healthier.
They're really?
We saw last night.
Yeah, we got that in the Pinda report.
You know, like, who's above them that doesn't have room to be better?
Because that's what we're really saying about the flames.
Like, well, they're 31st, but.
But everyone in the bottom 10 is saying, oh, we're 20 something.
But like Toronto's saying, we just need to get healthy.
Edmonton's saying, we just need to get home.
We played 16 road games.
We'll get some saves.
You know, like all these teams have the same excuse as the flames.
It hasn't gone well.
so you're in the bottom 10.
But on paper, who are you absolutely sure you're better than when you look?
Like who can you guarantee they finish better than?
I can't give you a name.
I'm going to send Jack the bottom of the overall standings.
I can tell you, as you say, Nashville has now either the flames have passed them
or the predators have fallen below them, however you want to look at it.
But the predators have 16 points.
The flames have 19.
They've played three more games than the Predators that said.
Vancouver is suddenly right down there as well.
St. Louis is not, they're still kind of kicking it around.
So there you have as far as the league standings.
Now again, games played and points percentage are going to change.
But as of today, that's the points and the bottom seven in the league standings.
And so I get it.
Like the fear is they fish 25th, right, right?
And it's like, oh, shoot.
And maybe someone behind you wins a lottery.
And you're picking seven or eight and you got to wait two years on a kid instead of someone that plays next year.
but like who in that group are you like flames are better than them you're no one because
everyone has found themselves here for a reason yeah and they're all flawed and they all could
be better and they're all dealing with some stuff they're all frustrated they're all pissing and
and and aside maybe from Toronto and I mean it is tight but climbing out of this stuff is there's no
guarantees like no and look Nashville it's ugly but it's still like could you see sorrows get hot and
Roman Yose put up some points and Stammer and
Marcia So look a little bit better?
I don't think that's crazy. Well, who's going to have the balls to make
some trades? That might be alone the thing that needs to have for some teams.
Totally. One of these teams is going to fly the white flag,
move some guys out, and really crater. And that's how you're going to
increase your lottery odds. And that's what's
frustrating this fan base is there's a huge opportunity
of this season. If you somehow got up to 27th and it's like,
oh, shoot, like we really like five kids at the top and there's a ledge,
what the hell do we just do?
Oh, because of winning culture.
Like you're 25th or something?
Come on.
Get out of here.
Huge opportunity in front of you.
Yeah.
So that's where we sit today for what that's.
I pulled back one last time because it's a fun.
Who's cooking in that kitchen?
It's the other thing I said to Ryan yesterday.
Maybe the biggest takeaway, and maybe not.
Maybe it's all just blather.
And Maloney's like, I've been doing this for 50 years, guys.
Thanks for.
Thanks for subscribing.
No comment given on the contract status of Craig Conroy
and what they're doing with him.
Well, and maybe I'm wrong and we're close to it because we're Calgary.
And we see it.
Who's all, who's all, who are the chefs in Vancouver and St. Louis and all these other teams?
Does Bill Zito have seven guys that he's relying on for advice?
Like, there seems to be a lot of guys that have want or have.
had that GM hat that are all up at the top of the food chain as far as the flames organization.
Like, yeah, like, no one is.
Conroy, you've got knownness.
You've got Peter Hanlon.
Now, you've got Pascal now who's been, like, and you've got Lonnie.
That feels like a gauntlet.
I think front offices, that's a normal size.
You just hope everyone's on the same page.
That's kind of what you're alluding to, right?
Like, is there all of a sudden a power strike?
if people think Connie's not coming back?
Yeah, it just feels like that's a lot of,
if you're walking down the hallway
and you've got an idea and a plan
for what you're trying to accomplish,
what do you think about,
well,
I'm not sure.
What do you think?
I agree with you.
I think that when you're sitting in the boardroom
with everyone,
are we a quorum?
Is that the word?
Call it.
I think it's,
I have no problem with differing of opinion
and battling and,
and presenting a case
for what you believe is right.
And I think we also,
whether we like it or not,
yeah, you got to eventually,
you got to go up to the very top
to ownership to get some things past.
But how many...
Is it Conroy?
And then does he have to do
convincing of Maloney and then
here and that,
because if you're constantly doing this,
that gets old fast
for a guy.
And that's,
That's not conducive for getting good work done.
And if you're doings and have your battles, but if at the end of it,
it's like if Craig has the autonomy to at least say, okay, well, good points, men, I appreciate
take it under advisement and I'm going to, going to make my call.
And now I'm fine with that.
But to your point, Red, if it's, who's, who's got the stick?
Well, and the catch to all this is, if you believe in, Craig,
why aren't you rewarding him with a new contract?
Yeah, and that might just be the way.
I understand.
Get it dealt with.
They might have a complete understanding,
but we're allowed to talk about it until then,
because it raises eyebrows and we don't know it.
It's just like a trade.
I don't know what they're being offered for guys behind closed doors,
but the information I have right now makes me go,
what the hell's going on?
And it's not just us.
it's people around the league and that's how I because there was a time media and people
come to town be like so what's going on with the flames what's what's going on upstairs like is
there what's going on there is a little bit of that starting to trickle back in and maybe it's just
because of these interviews but it's like oh so the maloney's saying this and well is Conroy going
to deal so he doesn't have a deal or Malani said that it just I guess it's good if you don't if you don't
care what people think or what the optics are, then that's fine, I suppose.
Yeah, you don't have to listen to us. You don't have to listen to us, but people that are
listening, this is what I'm thinking about right now. When I look at the flames
organization, I don't agree with how you're approaching it. I don't agree with Mr.
Maloney's comments. And I, I'm questioning why Craig Conroy doesn't have a contract.
I don't have any information that, but that's what I think about right now.
So you're in a loud market. It's Canada. It's the biggest team in
town. Like no one in California is talking about Pat Verbeek not having a contract. So that's part of it.
And so that's why I keep coming back to this like self-inflicted wounds. Like when you go put POO in front of a camera and then asking these questions,
like maybe this is a normal course of business and they're just dot and eyes and crossing T's. But why would you do the interview at that juncture?
Like if it's almost done, wait. Quarter pole. It was the quarter pole. Right. Yeah, sure. So I'm of the mind that this is going to get done and they like Craig and they think Craig.
has done a good job. I don't know how the front office operates, but it does in this market,
just add fuel to the fire when you trot your president out twice and he doesn't really give
a vote of confidence. Well, and it also says that he was listening to the response from people
and fans and pundits, that he had to go out twice and have. Yeah, we're not totally clear on the
timeline there, but it appeared like he went back to what might have been polished things off,
but felt like a double down. Or did you do another interview after the intermission? And
and the backlash all came later.
I don't know.
You know, we've got a house of team next year, too.
Yeah, and one with McKenna would be fun to watch.
But that's fantasy hockey, apparently.
Unlike winning culture at missing the playoffs,
three and heroes, that's real hockey, not fantasy hockey.
Just win.
Together a bunch of young kids and just have some.
I sent a couple things to Jack here.
I guess, hey, it's a hockey bar.
Sorry, it's what you do.
Yeah.
You analyze and you, you read into things and ordinarily.
I'm the guy that says it all the time.
Don't take read too much into what you hear in the media.
It just, I feel like we're not being fed bullshit here.
I kind of feel like we're getting a look inside.
It feels different to me.
Do you know what I mean?
Sometimes you can kind of-
You worry that you're getting an inside.
Yes.
I feel like what we're,
be, we're not being fed something to subterfuge to kind of knock people off the scent.
I think that this is kind of what we're seeing.
We can go to the first one, the comment, Jack.
Yeah, that one there.
So he was asked about, France asked about Craig Conroy and the work that he's been doing.
I think Craig has been excellent at creating an environment, a culture here of being proud to play in Calgary.
I think his biggest strength is his relationship with the players, which is excellent.
He cares and they know he cares.
I think the first year was very difficult with the number of good players we had at the end of their contracts.
A couple of those guys would probably help us right now, but we got through that.
I think year two was very strong, but again, you want to keep the pressure on each other and why we say we want to be a playoff team.
We don't want to go into the season saying we want to draft in the top five.
I don't want to in any way, shape, or form be associated with that because then why are we doing this?
Just to fantasize we're going to get a star player.
So where I, you know, my, I get the tingles and starts.
The first year was very difficult with the number of good players we had at the end of their contracts.
A couple of those guys would probably help us right now, but we got through that.
As if to say maybe, maybe you should have signed your Noah Hannafins or Elias Lindhomes or is that.
Yes, it is.
That's one way to read into it.
Right.
It doesn't really speak to, you know, paying guys more than they were worth.
which was why Craig wouldn't sign them.
But, hey, if that's winning culture,
being eighth in the West, maybe they're missing out.
And wanting out and telling your team basically you want out,
pay me extra or I'm leaving.
So a couple of those guys would probably help us right now.
I think year two is very strong.
But again,
you want to keep the pressure on each other and why we say we want to be a playoff team.
We don't want to go into the season saying we want to draft in the top five.
I just, I can't help.
but again, try and read in.
It feels like there's maybe there's,
the conversation has been.
We, we, we can try and get young here and get some high picks.
But the, but his take, Maloney's is not interesting.
He says as much.
Yeah.
I also think like it's important to, you know,
point out that he's talking about going into the season with that mentality.
No one's asked you to go into the season like that.
You came into this season talking about 97 points.
What we're talking about now is that,
given that, you know, a quarter of the season done is done and you're in second to last,
at least open a window to show us you have a plan B.
Like, I agree, Don, you should go into every season trying to make the playoffs.
Great.
But now that you're where you are, is it maybe time to look at some other options?
And I think, I really believe, as much as these quotes don't back it up,
I believe if they're in this spot in January, they're going to do all the things the fans want them to do.
I really do.
And I hope you're right.
just that he's failed to even hint at it,
which is just dumb PR.
And again, self-inflicted ones.
Which is exactly what you're saying is I don't disagree.
I think we all agree that push coming to shove,
the writing will be on the wall.
And if he offers are decent,
they will do the right thing.
I think that that's the gist of it.
You're just saying it in such convoluted way.
And I'm with you, boom.
And I hadn't read those comments.
And you know what I mean?
kind of read through them.
Looking at that, it reiterates what I just said.
That comment is it almost, geez,
I almost said something rude,
but that's an ignorant comment.
Some of those guys might help us right now.
Those guys wanted the F out.
Or they wanted to get paid handsomely,
and you'd be even older barely hanging on.
And all those kids that we're seeing play
that were hopeful might be good
would have no fucking spot.
That culture, that culture that you, yeah, that culture that you covet, it was shit when those guys were here and moping around.
Yeah, that's true.
And belly aching and bitching.
Yeah, he contradicts himself in that company.
He goes, well, Craig's created a great spot.
We should have kept those guys, but those guys, what?
What?
Those two things might be related.
Those guys were toxic and Conroy got them out of the room and now we should have kept them.
Final one, he's asked, this was the comment.
Again, credits of sports net.
And Francis did his article from the weekend.
Conroy's in the final year of his contract.
Why hasn't he been extended?
We keep that internal.
We're not discussing that.
We have a certain process.
We go through here.
Sounds like this guy's been here for 18,000 years and he was running.
Like, did he trees, buddy?
He hired Brad for living in Arizona.
And then brought him in here when he got relieved to be a.
Well, he was here before he left, right?
That's what I mean.
Yeah.
Brad hired him to come in early in his stint to help him in the front office.
And then when Brad left, he was elevated.
Do we need to go through the careers of the, like?
Yeah, I don't know that either are going to go to the Hall of Famous Builders at this juncture,
but especially Donnie had some lean years in Arizona.
But that doesn't mean, he doesn't always do it.
I just think he's awful at PR.
Yeah, he was in Arizona.
Don't let him talk to cameras.
Don't.
Or do.
Give us days and days.
Yeah, that's true.
I mean, yeah, for the fan base confidence low, for content creators,
It's fantastic stuff.
Bring them in.
We'll do an hour, sit down with them.
Wow.
And it's probably shitty because we're kind of blasting them,
but it's like we just said probably at the end of the day,
they'll do the right thing no matter what.
It's just that they were so dumb about it.
They didn't even like allow that little nugget at the end.
Like, and if we're in the similar spot in two months, we can pivot.
One sentence.
We're evaluating this.
As it plays along,
we're going to continue to evaluate and see what the best options.
It's throwing good money after bad.
Like it's like, well, we have to.
this plan and we can't pivot and we know you can't pivot we know you can 35 year old centerman that's
what that's what's stacking up is creating winning cultures and success like we need two more
35 year old centerman okay great i i say it again i just feel like this is a such it's such an
important point in the in the franchise's life where you have some older players you have some
guys that are signed long term, but you have some young guys coming up.
And so what are you going to do?
The next, oh, you want to be ready for the building?
Well, the building, that's great.
But if there's a concrete shortage, then all of a sudden, you know what I mean?
Like, you are going to build your team based on the personnel that you have, not on how,
how quickly a building is being.
Yeah, if you were really focused on building, they'd be getting way, you, they're not.
We got younger three years ago when Goddrell and them left and they had no interest in that because they're
pissing themselves because oh nobody likes playing here well yeah the guys are like playing
here kicking their fucking feet up it's an important it's an important season and upcoming
off season it feels like for the flames so it's hard not to micro analyze everything i hope conroy's
able to go to work and do what he feels he wants to do okay now i'm wound up here we go why the
fuck is anderson not signing then if it's so great well he wants more money than they're going
well we've got lots of money paid a fucking guy where he's swearing left and i know because that's
proper management right yeah you're cringing because you're like but it contradicts exactly what this
guy's saying yeah he was in talking in hindsight about giving alias well yeah in two seasons is he
going to be saying too much money and well maybe we should have done it and then meanwhile it's like
rasmus is asking for too much money and they're not doing it like when they're trying to sell this
this is such a great culture and we all love it and it well then why why
Why is he not signing?
Well, yeah.
Hughes, where is he going to go?
New Jersey.
Why?
His brothers are there.
Because he wants to be in New Jersey, right?
Because he wants to be in Jersey.
So if Anderson and the culture is so good that guys want to be here, why didn't
Hanifin stay?
I'm not saying it was the right decision to have paid him.
I'm saying, what's the wrong?
Why is Anderson not staying?
If it's so great.
Because they're clearly not willing to pay him.
He should be taking the backwood.
I love it here.
It's wonderful.
Look at this culture.
Yeah.
The difference being is that this is Rasmus' one payday opportunity.
That's not the backland contract.
But he loves it.
I think he does.
Yeah.
But that doesn't mean that he's not asking for too much money too, right?
I'm saying it can't.
It is all the above.
But if it's so wonderful.
Take the deal and stay.
And it should be a backland-ass-go.
You know what, Craig?
I fucking love you guys.
I'm absolutely aflame for life.
I'll stay here.
I believe in this team.
I believe we're going to have a chance to win.
I believe in what you're doing.
You're not hearing that.
No.
You're hearing, pay me my money.
There's an important distinction between having a group of guys
that get along and liking a market and what they're calling winning culture.
Those are two different things.
How are they doing it?
Yeah.
Rasmus knows there's a building coming, right?
Does he know?
Does he hear that hole in the ground is?
Is that why we hear that hard hats?
Oh, shoot.
That's what they're doing there.
Maybe somebody should tell them.
And hey, listen,
Rasmus Anderson's the first star of the week, guys.
It is the first star of the week.
It's playing well all of a sudden.
It looks great last night,
then side him.
No.
Three assists.
Come on now.
This is what we're,
this,
if we listen and you take what he's saying,
seriously, they are desperately trying to sign them.
And they're not by all accounts.
So that's why it gives me hope after hearing Don Malani speak.
They do have plan B's.
They do have the understanding of where they are.
They're just not ready to man up and say it publicly.
Because they're trying to sell tickets the rest of the year.
So you do, you know that?
You believe that?
That's what I was reporting today.
That they're still far apart negotiations and that, you know, they're absolutely.
Because that's not what, because you said, just because I'm just,
I'm just trying to hear what you were saying.
That's not the message you got from Don Maloney.
No, no. And again, right after the mess from Don Maloney, I said, look, they're putting up a front here.
But there's, I've always said, I believe there's a plan B where if they're 28th to 32nd in January, shit's happening.
They're just not ready to say it at the end of November and risk losing this winning culture that they have.
I mean, and that's fine.
Just don't come and speak to us.
You can think dumb things or try to fool people, but in this market, you're just going to, come on.
Don't talk down to your fans.
Yeah, you're going to get this, I guess.
Yeah, and this is their choice.
It's their choice to get all this flack.
No one made the poho go stand in front of a camera.
Now, listen.
And if you were, you could certainly prep them.
And maybe they tried to prep him.
He's like, listen, I've been a hockey executive forever.
I'm an expert on winning culture.
I don't need these notes.
I got this.
We don't know what it was, but it was a disaster and it was self-inflicted wounds.
I'm happy for number 47.
He got a goal.
last night. And sometimes you know what? I don't like seeing. And we'll, as we go through, I'll tell you,
there's some things I don't like seeing. And we can get into it later. But how much did scoring mean to
Connor Zeri? You didn't have to guess when he scored this goal last night. It has not been a great year for
Zeri. He has one goal to his credit. This is his second. Boom. And look at him. Relief.
It's like, like, it's less excitement.
minute and more relief, isn't it?
Monkey off back.
Thank God.
You feel like you're never going to score again.
Couldn't get a bounce and finally gets one.
And I thought, it's a funny game.
I thought from that point on, I thought he was really good last night.
Now, again, what were the Canucks?
But still, Joel Farabee has been playing some great hockey, I think.
He's been around it.
It's a goalpost with an empty net.
There was a, I mean, he was on for the, uh, the Sharon Govich goal.
He was right there, but doesn't get an assist.
I mean, he's been, I've been impressed with him, but for Zary to get one.
They've looked better and they've skated yesterday and Zary wants to score.
I don't question that.
I ripped up kind of a little bit last week.
Absolutely.
Can we play that once more, Jack?
Because, oh, is it whiteboard?
Well, it doesn't even have, I want everybody to get the enjoyment about, just,
I want you to envision yourself as a Canucks fan.
Okay.
going into this.
Okay, I'm cheered for the Canucks.
It's 1-1 halfway through the first.
We're in good shape.
Great shape.
It's a two on five.
It is.
Everything's under control, boys.
Let it roll, Jenny.
Oh.
Whoop.
Wooop.
Wooop.
And again, the Backland backhand chip onto the goalie.
The rebound doesn't need to be left on the doorstep in front.
Kevin letting him in was awful last night.
Frows.
Like, that is highly impressive.
Two on five.
Yeah, nothing we can do, coach.
Two on five pull up.
Oh, oh.
One-handed stab.
Look at Zeri.
Zeri just splits right through there.
Oh,
that's going to sit in there.
Oh, boy.
They were awful last night.
You know how I ask Rett sometimes?
Are you watching this tape at the next day?
Are the Canucks pulling the tape?
tape out for,
hey fellas.
Fellas.
Two on five.
Adam Futz got him in early this morning.
So can you?
Do you like talk it was texting
foot last night after the game?
Told you.
How's he going?
How's it going over there?
I see Zeri scored.
You like being a head coach?
Did Coleman get
Coleman scored sure handed? I heard.
Well, how was the goal? Did he
dipsy doodle through everybody?
Is it a dangle?
He just went to the net with one hand on a stick and scored.
shoot. And it was only, the only play
was a tip in front.
Yeah, the old dreaded two on five
Coleman backland.
Short-handed.
Hoy.
That's good we can, it's good
we can laugh.

Let's go.
Invest dashmed.
ca is the website.
What do you say?
Can you got any anything you can share?
Overall,
Well, Rhett, you're doing great.
I don't think it says that at all.
You're definitely a little banged up on imaging.
That's enough.
You're banged up in Nashville.
I know that.
Yeah.
Banged up.
Banged up indeed.
Bad shoulders trip.
Everyone had a safe weekend.
It was a very busy.
It was a great weekend in Prince Albert.
We were up there.
The nicest.
I brought this up.
Nicest rink.
You're going to play in sports.
Did you hit the drive-through liquor store?
That's what I was going to bring that up.
The drive-thru liquor store was right beside the hotel,
which the people in Calgary were very amazed by.
Did I tell you this?
Yeah, you did I tell you on the show?
I think we mentioned it on Friday.
Did we talk about the robbery?
No.
No.
Oh, yeah.
So then they wanted to go through the screw-off camera.
Stop moving.
AI.
So the good folks on the team wanted to go through the drive-thru.
So they went over to the liquor store,
and then there was a hold up at the liquor store.
And then the dude that held up the liquor store decided to,
it was a very short, crisp walk across street to the hotel.
Oh.
And we were sitting on the lobby.
And so he proceeded to coming into the lobby.
And then they've got those, you know, the breakfast, some of the stuff.
So he went back in the kitchen and took continental breakfast.
Yeah, took some of the breakfast stuff.
This was, this was that night, but he Cheerios.
Delicious.
Yeah, yeah.
Really wanted some Cheerios.
Then he walked around.
and walked himself in behind the bar
and grabbed a couple bottles and said,
you guys have millions,
I'll just take these and tried to leave.
When you say a hold-up,
you don't mean like a delay in the line.
It was more of a mugging.
Yeah, I think he had a fake gun,
but it was definitely an attempt to,
yeah.
Mm-hmm, yeah.
But not to be intimidated.
Well, Ronnie boy,
captain of the fire hall.
Well, Ronnie stood up.
He told that son of a that rascal.
I'm not going to stand for this.
You're not going to rob from my hotel.
Plus, I might get a free drink.
If I steal that right back, he took it.
That's right.
Yeah.
He just took it right out the guy and then he stared him down.
Did he get it?
Really?
Oh, that's a hero right there.
He's an everyday hero, Ronnie.
I don't want to say this last time because name because he'll get absolutely.
Was it Ron Stern?
Ron Stern, I'd be giving the bottle back too.
I'd love you, Ron.
Thanks for keeping us safe.
in Prince Albert and in Calgary.
It's your great work as a firefighter.
That's an amazing story.
Great.
I don't have anything quite like that.
Well, you've got to go to PA to have that happen.
That's weird.
Top five stabby of cities of it happened.
How about you, Ryan, did you?
We were in Drumheller screaming at kids in two different tournaments.
Did you stop any robberies or take down criminals?
No.
Really?
Just, you know what actually was a hit that I was, you were mocking me.
I took a little six pack of the temple, non-alcoholic beers out of the fridge here.
You know, a couple of dads used to, don't need more or just needed a breather.
I had to get up early or whatever.
Hot ticket item.
Bears were going and a couple guys said, you know what?
I just feel better with one of these in my hand because I feel like I'm one of the fellas.
And I know that, uh, I'm in the rest.
Yeah.
Pender said, oh, good, you know, stop at a liquor store.
I'm like, oh, you could take some of, might be an idea for you, Ryan, take some of those temples.
Temple Golden Lager.

Drinktempel.com, drinktempel.com.
Light body clearheaded. So when you're sitting by the 50-50 chlorine water pool with the water
slide. Those are fun.
Tip them back. Those are fun. Our kids had to run for the hills. They went in. The skin started to
burn. The eyes were falling out of it. It was. Yeah. I can't wait for this class action
lawsuit when they poisoned all our children with chlorine with these,
these hotels for the kid tournaments.
It's crazy. Like, I'm not even in the pool, not even getting a finger wet.
And it's like my eyes are just red.
And you're like, I'm not even in this. Imagine the kids.
Yeah.
Hoy.
It's gross.
It's gross.
Let's do the...
Do you know Pinder Report time for our friends in Village Honda?
See, here's the thing.
They know what's up. You can trust them.
Here's a reason why.
They just told us last week about their winter ready used SUV event.
Is that not exactly what you need today?
We're talking pre-owned all-wheel drives, four-by-fours.
Do you see the weather?
It's frightful.
Do you need that rear-wheel sedan, or would you rather have a four-wheel drive SUV?
Lots of selection.
Get online, check them out, all kinds of different makes and models, all price to move.
Go to villagehontad.com to see the selection or visit them in the Northwest Automall
if you trust your current vehicle to get up to one of these safe winter-ready SUVs.
Are you throwing a...
bunch of sandbags into the trunk of your Caprice
classic or are you going
to Village and check it out at all-wheel drive SUV.
Be smart. Be smart. Be safe.
Be smart.
Speaking of smart. Check out the writers
at Flames Nation.
I saw Pike last night. I'm not sure.
Well, I got Flash Stevens
for you then. We'll see you there.
More thoughts on the slumps
busted in Vancouver
last night. 5-2 win over the Canucks.
I believe the fourth time this year they've had more than three goals.
So a cootie hardos to the flames last night.
And they do get both halves of a back-to-back in large part thanks to Devin Cooley's incredible performance on Saturday night against Dallas.
That is the whole thing about the three-game winning streak.
It's like if you didn't have your back, I'd be the first.
I don't know.
You kind of got out of, but hey, credit to Cooley.
He's been a phenomenal story.
And he continues to give us great.
Are they playing that Culeo song when Cooley plays that,
fantastic voyage.
I think they should.
That's great.
Right?
That's a banger of a song, Red.
Great call.
Is that the one,
long and ride on a fantastic voyage,
blah, blah, blah.
That's banger.
Brett,
that.
He could do a set flames.
Got this guy.
Another guy, milestone,
300 points.
That's why Backland was fishing it up.
out after that one-handed, undeniable poke from Coleman on Kevin
letting him in.
Three hundred quick points ain't bad?
I want one of those sweaters.
With the 20?
I don't need the 20.
Maybe a 44 in there?
Nope.
Talk to Joel Hanley.
I think he's got one.
Just the flame sink.
Just a black.
You don't want the fours?
Come on.
It looks like a hoodie.
Yeah.
It's a wonder.
It's a one.
The fours for. No one.
Okay, fine.
We're proud of you.
You can be proud of you too if you want,
we won't force you.
Rasmus Anderson.
also on quite a heater.
Look at this now.
All of a sudden, he's within distance of T.J. Brody for fifth all time and defensive points.
You pass that bastard, Brody.
That's son of a gun.
Get him this year.
Tejee.
Ryan, it's going to be a ways away.
And boy, Gio did pile up some points.
And then, yeah, there's the best two franchise defensemen of all time.
McKinness and Souter still underrated and under celebrated for what they did.
I thought Joe had a hell of a career.
But the McKinnis guy, where did he come from?
Big Al, yeah, he didn't have to go play in Russia to get a two-way deal or a one-way deal.
He was early and often with the big hammer from the point, Dean.
Boy, could he rip it?
822 points is a lot, isn't it?
Five-game road trip coming up.
Well, in fact, they played game one last night of it, but it is odd.
They stayed in Vancouver last night.
They're going to fly across the continent and six hours today.
Tampa on Wednesday.
Florida, i.e.
the Panthers, on Friday.
It's every other day. Not too compressed.
There's usually a back to back in there. Then Sunday off to Carolina.
Rod the bod.
Rod the board.
At Nashville?
And then
going to be in a toilet bowl.
We were there for the last one.
And boy, were they awful in the first before putting a workman like 40 minutes together
at the end and losing in regulation.
Now, Red, Sunday afternoon in Carolina,
even if they stay overnight.
Like you can get,
they can still make good on this.
They didn't go to Nashville in time kind of a thing.
I did think about that when they stayed in Ottawa
before going to Nashville on their last big swing.
Really helped.
I thought to myself,
they will be going back to Nashville.
I wonder if Huska's given the carrot out.
Dominate the sins.
We'll let you go.
Otherwise, you're going to have to earn it the next time we pass through.
Dominate the Cains?
I think you might be right though.
I'm not even sure.
Do the young kids, they even, like Nashville?
Well, there's enough guys that aren't young kids on this team that will on it.
Yeah, they're a veteran group, Dean.
There's half the team's old.
And you know,
you know veterans that create good cultures will be taking the fellows out and make a show.
They better be.
Today's youth, they need good leaders.
If I was able, I'd head down to that, but I'm going to an event at the dome then.
Are you?
What's going on at the dome there, Braggie?
A funny guy.
There's a real funny man in town.
Funny guy.
You're talking about Sunday night in Carolina.
No, I'm not going to Carole.
Carolina. It's so boring.
Yeah, funny man at the dome. That'll be good.
You make a great point.
Like that game will be over quite early in Carolina.
You could have a full send Sunday night in Nashville before a Tuesday game, not a Monday game.
I've seen it happen before.
We'll get into the history of it tomorrow, but the old Southeast Division swing,
Panthers Lightning Carolina has not been kind of the flames.
They'll kick that one off in a couple days.
now Don Maloney, poho.
You love calling him poho.
Well, we call him Domo if you want.
Don Maloney, Domo, Domo the poho.
He knows about winning culture.
Sportsbooks don't.
They only balance money and take projections.
The Calgary Flames remain tied for last in the projected points total, updated as of this morning.
76 and a half points is the overender for the flames.
The exact same number for Nashville and San Jose, one point less than
Chicago, that's your bottom four.
A bit of a gap. Then the Canucks at 82 and a half, Boston Buffalo, 83 and a half.
Pittsburgh, Seattle, St. Louis at 85 and a half.
Those are your worst nine teams by projected totals in the NHOs.
Thank you, right?
You waiting?
No, I already did it.
I'm waiting.
Nine.
Thank you.
So while the vibes are high on a three-game winning streak,
the unemotional sports book, Bet, Bet, 365, still has them tied.
for the lowest projected total of points in this season of NHL hockey.
Do we care?
Do we care about what?
I think that's great.
That is a fantastic.
I love numbers and I'm a science nerd.
You are indeed.
I like the people.
This gives me great confidence that we're doing the right thing.
Could be a tough blow to the quote, winning culture.
Let's go to the bottom 10.
The Canucks fans handling this very well.
the failures of their team.
Yeah, that's two reg wins in their last 17.
Hoy.
Son of a.
That is a miserable run.
And if you're actually going to move Quinn Hughes,
which I think you should do,
given that letting him walk for free is not going to be good for you long term,
if you were watching the Calgary Femes last year with Rasmus Anderson,
would you have maybe any sort of an inkling of how to approach a guy with two years left on his deal?
Two playoff runs?
Like, is Quinn in play this year?
Does he have a no trade?
I don't know that he's old enough to have.
Like the only difference about this is, does anyone think he's staying?
No.
A year ago, you could probably, well, Anderson may sign an extension.
You could bring it up now and it's still not completely out of the rest.
There's just no chance he's staying in Vancouver to me.
I see it as a non-zero chance, but a very slim chance.
Like, maybe it's a 2% chance.
Like, come, you kid not.
What would help?
His chances of staying there?
Winning?
His brother's moving to Vancouver?
I don't know.
Yeah.
There's your bottom 10,
Canucks fans?
They love their art.
What is this?
Okay, let's walk us through this.
Yeah, there's EP40.
Leas Patterson,
they're winning culture expert in Vancouver.
So he's getting a medal.
It's good work.
Kisses a girl.
He's a little hansy there at the top.
Oh, yeah.
Rensy.
This is a little shy.
Oh, yeah.
Grated.
geez, hands-on hoop.
It's 10 and 2 right there, Dean.
Spraying the champagne because, yes, now they're down to 3rd from the bottom.
And the Florida, the 2 and 5.
Those are all the losses their last three games.
Okay.
Scored 17 to 9 and 3 losses.
And then he's popping champagne.
This is a Vancouver Connect's meme updated for the,
We're so bad we're tanking now.
I do like those jerseys, though.
It's a good-looking jersey game last night.
So does he like champagne?
Is that what that's saying?
He's celebrating because he's tanking.
He's in on the tank.
Oh, they're celebrating the losses.
That's right.
Look at this.
Who's the hottest?
I think that's,
don't say it.
Taylor Swift?
I don't know.
Keep moving.
Great meme.
So good.
This got some steam.
Come on.
Now listen.
Oh, no, no, no.
No, no.
No, no.
No, no.
No, no.
No, no.
No, no.
Clearly that's an AI photo because I have not seen this period of people with fired Don Maloney,
let the team rebuild, let Connie Cook signs. This has to be fabricated. And in, you know, the importance of just being thorough. I did update this this morning. It's up to 38 signatures. But safe to say the Don Maloney.
So the photo is a fake, but the petition is real. That is correct. It was sent to me by the people that started the change.org petition aimed at CSEC. You're going to need more than 38 signatures.
they stand now.
But I don't know that the speech
inspired more confidence
in the front office,
nor the two-part article that followed.
All I take out of this,
Dino, is that people care.
And I don't want nobody.
They didn't care.
Yeah, they care.
38 people care enough to write their names.
So many people.
That's almost as many signatures
you got for mayor 10 years ago.
Yeah,
throw my name in the mayor hat.
You screwed us.
We got stuck with Nenshi
because you didn't actually get 100 signatures
or whatever it was.
Damn it, I, Red.
Thanks for out.
Let's go to last night.
Sabers,
one bit of a heater.
Minnesota has been great defensively of Lake.
Jets can be in trouble with a month plus of no hellabuck.
Isles continue to roll.
They've been a great story.
Avs are far and away the best team in the NHL.
Shocks.
They get the Marco Sturham Bowl.
See?
Yeah.
3-1 win over Marco Sturham.
Dang, that's got to hurt.
And the flames.
We watched it at Cowboys Casino and Sports Lounge last night.
Big win by two.
told you Colorado is good, right?
Colorado is very good.
Well, here's how good they are.
The gap between Colorado, who's first and the second place team in the entire league
is the same size of the gap between second and 25th.
Hoy.
Well, if you can rely on this guy for math, sure.
Out of boy, Corey.
Massive sack.
Massive sack.
The Minnesota goaltending, we told you, was good.
Esper Walsstad's been a huge part of it.
highly touted prospect finally arriving.
He and Gustafson forming a nice tandem in his last five,
less than a goal, 970.
Do you know that the oiler tie in here?
The Oilers could have drafted this young man,
but instead traded the pick away to move down.
And the wild took,
this is my understanding is that they took Walshatt,
who has now got three shutouts in eight starts,
this season.
Dean, the Oilers don't have any
goaltending issues.
It would just be a log jam there.
Probably right.
Can you go into that draft
and do a little diving for us?
That would be lovely.
I know you don't like to,
but maybe you got a moment here.
I hate to do it.
We mentioned Barry Trott's not happy
with his last place,
Nashville Predators.
I need bleeping more from them.
That's Trots talking about his team.
Oh, dear.
It sounds like Phil Forsberg's not on the market
and I'm sure there's some loyalty
to Saros and
Yossi who have been there forever, but
Stamcoach and Marsha, so
those are interesting discussions that will be
happening soon. They're
not, they're one year removed from 40
goals each. There's
16 months removed from
people picking them to win the cup.
It's not,
I said it the other day,
it's kind of looking like the
Daryl Sutter trajectory where it's like, you're a
Hall of Fame coach, but
you're a better coach than a GM.
And maybe Barry will turn this thing around,
but early returns.
You're a motivator of Ben, Barry.
You've got to be in the room to do that.
You can't be sitting up top.
You're not a card player, Barry.
Come on.
They're going to leave the team to watch.
Here's tonight's slate.
All right.
What do we like in here?
We'll revisit that Blues Rangers game for Bet 365.
I think your game of the night's probably the Jordan Spence Bowl is the
Sends are back in L.A.
L.A. has had a ton of games on the road.
and Vegas, Utah should be okay.
Those are the late games.
Good news if you're standing up tonight.
Tough time selling the other ones.
Although Jersey Redwood's going to be all right.
Okay.
Keep moving.
It's a story.
NFL.
By the way,
have you researched your draft or do you want to?
I have some info for you.
Well, stay on hockey then.
Let's get rid of this one, Jack.
And let Dino tell us about that connection to the Oilers.
In 2021, the 2021 draft, the Oilers had the 20th overall pick where,
Yesper Walshded was available.
They traded down to get an additional third rounder,
and they selected Xavier Borgo at 22.
The waiver guy.
And then Luca Munzenberger, they selected with that third rounder that they got
for dropping two spots.
Oh, it feels like a win.
Yeah, Walsstead is arriving.
Looks like it.
Full season with Iowa Wild last year.
It was just okay, but.
Cheap as chips, Dean.
Entry level. Let's go.
Oops.
Oopsies.
Let's go to the NFL last night.
Staff Daddy.
Rams look good.
Matt Stafford.
Diling.
What's that right?
Boring game.
It was a dominant performance when what we thought was going to be a good Sunday nighter,
34 to 7.
this was an absolute slob knocker.
It was early and often from the Rams,
including a pick six in the first quarter.
And Matt Stafford is lapping the field,
it feels like. He's got seven more touchdowns
than Prescott and Gough were tied for second.
Seven!
What effort you do it, Alan?
Get your head out of it.
Although he's got no one to throw.
He has no one to throw to.
They've even benched the kid
that was supposed to be good and it has a shitty attitude.
Yeah, he's a young quarterback back
weeks.
Well, let's get
to the AFC standings then. Why don't we?
Hey? Yeah. Yeah,
the bills cling into the final
wild card.
Patriots all of a sudden,
oh, two and a half games up on the bills.
They will play one more time this year, right? You've got to win that
a few of the bills. Let's go.
Yeah. Oh, gosh.
Oh, dear.
I think they'll let the playoffs, but they're not
going to catch the paint. Like, boy.
Yeah.
Broncos, a comfy lead.
Two games up on the Chargers.
three up on the chiefs. Colts had a chance to bury the chiefs.
What are you doing, Colts?
Dummies. You had a chance.
You had the foot on the throat. Put them away.
It's like Vancouver gets to seven to two playoffs ago.
Put them away.
Ravens all of a sudden have the lead in the NFC.
Are the AFC North, Jack? What happens?
With the Ravens one and five to start the year?
You have it locked up, Jack?
Oh, dear. No.
You know what I realized Sunday?
The Steelers suck?
I've been watching the same shit for four years.
Mason Rudolph throwing three yard passes.
The defense is overrated as hell.
I just realized I'm watching the same shit every year.
It's like Groundhog Day.
Groundhog Day.
Watch that first step.
It's a doozy.
Oh, she's going to be a real battle on Sunday.
Oh, I'm sure it will.
We got Sunday.
Jack, winning culture, six and five in the hunt every year.
That's right.
the same shit every year.
Is Domo the poho also working football?
He might be.
Oh, dear.
Oh, my God.
Texans with that stout defensive performance Thursday night,
firmly in the hunt.
And there are the stinking chiefs hanging around
like a stinky sock in the laundry bin.
They're not done yet.
They got the Cowboys Thanksgiving.
That'll be a banger, big time.
Cowboys offense suddenly looking good,
defense looking actually not inept.
Could be a fun one on Thursday.
We should probably go to Retzhaus and get blasted.
Yeah, I agree.
Let's go to the NFC.
Staff Daddy and the Rams up top 9 and 2.
They look like the clear-cut top team in the NFL right now.
In fact, they're Super Bowl favorites to win as of today.
Eagles, you dummies.
They blew a huge lead on the Cowboys.
Didn't cash out.
multi-legged parlay with a nice payday because obviously they were going to wrap that up.
Jerry's got the boys rolling.
Jerry's got the boys rolling, Rhett.
And you've made fun of Jerry.
5-5 and 1.
They got to find a way to pay George Pickens.
Winning culture.
Because when the Steelers give you a dynamic top five receiver in the world,
you got to keep them and play them with lamb.
Can't cover both those guys.
No.
Panthers will play tonight.
They're in the nine hole.
They're playing San Francisco.
Woof.
The Niners have been quite good.
Panthers are surprising 6 and 5, Mark.
If someone told you the Panthers are the same record of the Chiefs,
you'd laugh at them and tell them to check into a mental facility.
Here's your game.
It's in San Fran.
It's a 615 mountain start.
And Christian McCaffrey on pace for a second thousand thousand season.
That's yards receiving and yards rushing.
CMC is back.
I can't stand this guy.
every year you draft him, he gets hurt
when you don't, he's the best player in fantasy.
Two years that I draft him doesn't play at all.
Dog shirt.
Maybe he can't stand you.
You've cursed him the two years.
That's fine.
Every other year he's been fine.
I hate San Francisco too, so screw you.
What about Ricearoni?
Do you hate that?
Never.
I love it.
Did you still get the Ricearoni treat?
Shit, yeah.
Are you sure?
What?
I'm going to check.
Well, exactly.
You're bragging it up like you love.
No, what are you talking?
Of course you said, did you say,
well, when's the last time you had the riceeroni treat?
This year.
San Francisco treat or rice errone.
Yeah, rice errone.
Is it in your pantry right now?
No.
But I've had it recent.
I don't think the people in my house like it, but I love it.
Okay.
How do you live with these people?
No, I don't know what you're talking about.
You've never had rice errone?
Well, was it just some sort of like a base of flavor you add to rice and put some meat in there or what?
You're an idiot.
I might be an idiot.
It's not the first nor the last time I'll be.
be accused of that. Jack, Rayceroni?
I have no idea either.
Back to me.
Stupid everywhere, Ryan. I had too much stupid.
Brett's done. He's done with stupid. More stupid.
Are you going to be able to avoid stupidity?
Stupid. More stupid. And don't be stupid. Stupid buses fall today. Maybe I'm the stupid one.
It's a beautiful finish. I really. Lovely montage.
Jack's not going to like this, but Miles Garrett is having one of the
dominant seasons ever as a pass rusher in NFL history.
Ooh.
Three or four more sacks this week.
Jeez.
16.
13 sacks his last four games.
That's very good.
Three force fumbles.
Was he 18 on the year?
Goodness.
Lots of runway left.
Six weeks, I believe, for most teams.
And I'm sorry, Jack, he is better than T.J. Watt.
I know you don't like him and you hate his mustache.
he's a Cleveland Brown, but he's better than T.J. Watt right now.
Imagine what it would be like to see him in real life.
Oh, terrifying.
Right?
Because you see, oh, yeah, he's a big man.
It looks strong and athletic.
In the NFL, which is full of monsters, everyone bows in his presence.
Like, what must it be like when that dude walks in the room?
It's like a marble statue of a Greek god towering over mere mortals.
It's like, oh, my God.
Anyway.
Football's fun
and football is never
unentertaining,
even if it is cheesy
with James Winston.
We outside,
but we inside.
Flea flicker bomb.
They got up early.
They somehow blew this against the lines.
They did blow it.
Gas the coordinator today.
Look at night.
Look it.
He's open.
Look at them.
You got to be kidding me.
That's James catching the ball.
Touchdown.
Famous James.
Oh, my goodness.
I am like half in love and half like cringing at everything he does.
It is so wildly entertaining.
He is, um, he's amazing.
And every year he starts third on some depth chart.
I don't get it.
Well, did you see how this game ends?
I know how it ends.
He always throws picks.
Spoiler.
Are they even in this game?
came without James making all these crazy plays
before.
What is he?
The second player ever with 300
passing yards and 30 receiving
yards in the same game.
Tom Brady.
The only other guy caught one.
It's funny how the flea flicker does
catch teams still in this day and age.
I don't think many people think they're going to
throw it to the quarterback, whether it was
1970 or 2025.
Like, how many career receptions does he have?
Of course you're not covering that guy.
Oh, shoot.
No, I just mean a fleet, like the first pass there, the flea flick.
Oh, yeah, then back to the quarterback.
He was so wide open.
Yeah.
Defense bites.
I think it's a run.
There's screen pass, whatever it is.
Tonight's game, we told you, Purdy against the Panthers.
And CMC and his quest for a thousand, a thousand.
That'll wrap up the final game of this week.
And we are almost into the fantasy playoffs, fellas.
So we'll have a Tuesday update on the Media Hacks League,
which has been.
Oh, we will.
The first place team just lost a quarterback,
which is two guys.
Dino's looking good.
My team is so bad.
Jack,
start dead people.
He's quit.
No,
I filled their roster this week.
Yeah,
one week in a row.
Congrats.
Commissioner doesn't like that.
D.S.
Jack.
No.
Nonsense.
It's good way to get their
guys that I'm playing against,
and it's awesome.
I love it.
Finally,
we played the AI video
of the Edmonton Oilers
and their hole in the,
net, a Disney movie that may never be made.
There was one that might also not be made about the Calgary Flames.
Let's have a look.
We have the pieces to win the cup.
Sure we do.
We're still in this.
We could still win the cup.
It's so dumb.
I said, hey, we're not just taking runs at Edmonton because they fumbled a dynasty.
We'll take runs at any team here.
We love cheap shots.
It's so good and easy.
These AIs are very fun.
You love cheap shots.
It's just model is based off of shit talking what other people do.
Yeah.
It's not new.
They're doing it for 15 years.
It's great.
Yeah.
That is your Pinda Report on this snowy Monday, November 24th.
Stay home.
Not a bad idea.
Reminder of the iconic Honda Prelude is back and arriving soon at Village Honda.
Legendary SportsCoop.
Reimagined.
They got a hybrid now that expertly balances performance, a smooth ride and efficiency.
The first ever electrified prelude, powered by the ultra-smooth, responsive, fuel-efficient Honda 2 motor hybrid electric system.
It's the award-winning civic engine that you know.
It's coming back.
Get excited.
Not on today, but like maybe for spring, right?
When all those stuff melts away.
When I first started doing radio, the salespeople would get angry with you if you suggested people to stay home.
Yeah, don't do that, right?
They'd be like, don't.
Oh, really?
Why?
Yeah. Well, all the advertisers at the shopping mall and everybody that's got businesses,
they don't want people to stay home. You're telling people to stay home? Just tell them to be careful
when they're going out. Well, we don't have a sales staff so they can kiss my ass.
If you're going out to the mall to do some shopping, please be careful, but certainly still go out and do some shopping.
What if we said stay in and hammer some Beth 365? I mean, I don't need your help, say, please.
It's the new universe. I'm just saying some of our clients would appreciate it.
Yeah. Thanks for that, though.
Appreciate it.
So you're saying go out and about in this?
Dean, are you going to be held accountable for fender benders today?
You better get in cloud law.
I'd love you to run up to Bontan and grab some meats for me and drop them off on the way back.
Do you let me out and about?
Remember we had that conversation about, it was last week.
He said, do you want to, because we're going to go Thursday, American Thanksgiving,
we're going to do some stuff with Bonton.
you don't need me to set up the men.
No, I need, right, right, right.
And then today, so is, do I need to do anything for that or, uh, so just, so for,
I was looking for details.
I'm detail oriented.
Yep.
Is there something specific you wanted?
I totally trust.
That's what I was saying is no one needs to tell you what to do as far as a menu.
You take care of the tech, because I was worried about the tech stuff.
And that's, well, I hope, yeah, I was a lot of.
my plate. Your internet seems
okay. That's the only concern
I think is that the internet will be okay.
All bartend, Rett's on food,
Dean's on tech. I don't know anything about the internet.
Yeah, I know.
Because Thursday show is going to be
coming to you from Rett's house.
As we are hijacking and we're
Thanksgiving crashing American Thanksgiving.
There's no way to get, there's no way
we're going to sit here working
like a bunch of losers.
while the Americans sit there and pass out on their couches full of turkey and booze
and watch game after game of football?
No longer.
Bontan Meets presents the Barnburner American Thanksgiving takeover.
As we go live from Rett's House on Thursday, we'll do the show,
we'll keep the stream open, we'll have commentary, we'll have food spilling on our shirts.
Trip to Finn in full effect, people passing out.
Yeah.
You'll get to see Jack cursing and swearing about the Steelers.
Puddles of drool.
Yeah.
What's the lineup again who's playing?
We've got a hell of a day.
Yeah, real good one.
We've got a hell of a day.
Because usually, remember it was when the lions were awful.
You had to go watch the lions and they're going to be awful and Cowboys are always going to be on.
But this year it looks all right.
Green Bay at Detroit, 11 a.m.
Detroit early favorites, minus two and a half.
That's a divisional matchup.
It's in Detroit.
They in Dallas always host Thanksgiving games.
The third game bounces around a bit.
Second game is Chiefs at Cowboys 2.30.
Oh, that's going to be good.
Cowboys looking relevant.
Chiefs just pushing that nail out of their coffin finally against the last night.
They almost got cooked.
And the Bengals might have Joe Burrow back.
Joe Burrow.
They play the Ravens who've won.
five in a row and have laid the
smackdown on Jack's
Pittsburgh Steelers, taking
over top spot in the UFC North with two games
remaining head to head between the two.
Binder. Go.
Are you on Bet, 365?
What do you want? I want the Ravens to win
the Super Bowl.
A f-off, rat.
Oh, wow.
That's stuck a nerve rat.
Holy smokes.
What is a slut, Jack?
You're a Bill's fan.
That is a good bet.
That is a good...
Well, I don't know.
what the bet is, I guess, what the numbers are.
Yeah. Going to futures,
hang on here. Futures,
Super Bowl, Rams plus
400, Eagles plus 650,
Seahawks, Colts, Chiefs,
10 to 1, Lions
11 to 1, Bill's 12 to 1,
Ravens, 12 to 1.
Yes, that's a good bet.
I like that number.
I don't know, I was watching part, well,
because it was on at Cowboys Casino,
watching the, I guess
it was the afternoon guy, I was watching here, I was watching
highlights. Watching Lamar and
Derek try and get into the end
zone, they look a little old
fellows. Five in a row.
Second and goal.
Stopped at the one. Third stop,
the dog. Lost the yard. Back to this.
I don't know. They got their buy at the right time.
They're real dinged up. They're getting healthier.
That's why we watch these games. That's why we get together and
get hammered and eat a bunch of food and fall asleep.
And they're playing the Bengals.
97. Boom.
It's not old.
Thursday, it's the Bengals.
They'll look younger, I promise you that.
The Bengals defense is atrocious.
They make games exciting, though.
They sure do, especially if Burroughs back.
It's like over under set for 70.
So Thursday.
So without giving, is it going to be a surprise?
Like, what do you think?
Are you taking requests or like for the, for the, no, no, we're traditional.
Turkey?
I think so.
I love Turkey.
I do. Gravy.
Yeah, the gravy is so good.
I'm open to, there will be no bean salad.
Thank you.
Sorry, Ryan.
Don't apologize to me.
If you still want to come, come, but I just, I'm not promising.
Ryan's kids aren't coming then.
That's for the better.
You don't want two hyenas shredding your house apart.
Yeah, no, we'll do traditional, I think.
Oh, so good.
Jack, any special requests?
You're the food guy, Rhett.
I'm going to leave it up to you.
Yeah, if Rhett's happy, we're all happy.
let's be honest.
Dean Buns, that's my request.
Can I get some buns?
Sure.
I'll make some buns.
You got, for years.
Hey, Rhett, you got yeast?
Yep.
You got some yeast, some, some butter.
Double riser.
You got some milk or cream and flour.
You're going to bake him right there.
Chit-cha.
Oh, man, hot, warm bun.
Right out of the oven.
Oh, come on now.
Gravy.
Yes, sir.
Stuffing.
So it'll be shown up for my house to really, no, please.
Well, the show starts at 10-ish.
Do we, uh, we got to set up before then?
Shovel are going to be there?
Is she, uh, going back to her native Americas to sell?
Ah, yeah, she's out of here.
Drop, I had to drive these treacherous roads today.
Oh, my goodness.
Yeah.
The bastards at the airport, they couldn't keep the runway going.
Bastards.
You big snowplow for those big long runways.
So, so where, so where?
Because I have been to your house.
I'm just envisioning. Where are we going to have, which are we viewing downstairs?
No.
Main room upstairs.
Far from the food.
Got to be close to the kitchen.
Okay.
So that's where the show and the stream could go from there.
I feel like we will need a kitchen cam as well for what's going on in the kitchen.
Uh-huh.
Hey, Jack?
Yes, we do.
Jack.
Maybe one of those body cams that come he's selling.
We can strap one on the show.
Jeff.
Yeah,
get Connie to come on over.
This is a taser.
Oh!
Could he use the taser in Prince Albert?
Yeah, probably.
Talk to Tommy.
Let's take a look at our bets for today.
Bet 365.
We love them.
We'll go through our,
our,
week 12, week through,
whatever hell it is.
Tomorrow.
We got Monday.
You picked a thousand games.
You got the Monday nighter.
We'll go through the picks tomorrow.
I picked a bunch.
I went back to 13, I think.
And I was in, I don't want to give it anything away.
But Bet 365, they make it more exciting and more interesting and more fun,
but you must be 19 or older and do it responsibly.
Just a couple ideas here.
You don't have to do them, but here's what I'm thinking.
Brock Purdy has not played a lot this year, but every game he's played,
he's thrown for two touchdown passes.
Christian McCaffrey's been electric end zone.
House call, that's obvious.
60 yards rushing.
That seems like a bad day at the office for Imparlay, those all together,
plus 145.
And the New York Rangers are the worst home team in the,
The NHL, they played nine home games.
Guess how many wins?
One.
One seven and one.
They are dog shirt at home are the blue shirts.
And the blues are playing the blue shirts.
And that means we're taking the blues at plus 125.
Nice.
And also that helps the old inverse standings.
Tina, get them out of our way here.
Get some cushion up there, blues.
Let's go.
Whatever your bet is, it's never ordinary at bet three, six five,
official gaming partner of Barnberger.
Get the app.
Get in the game.
Should have thrown Rets,
12 to 1 for Baltimore to win the Super Bowl in there.
Jack hates it, but that's a nice number.
Yeah, sorry, Jack.
It's a great number.
What do they have the Steelers at?
Oh, I didn't scroll down that far.
Geez, I'll have to check again.
I've got it right here. Hang on, hang on.
All right.
Ooh, I have to click the Show More button.
That's way down.
100 to 1.
Ooh.
It's a good bet, Jack.
Poor Jack.
It's so bad.
Good. Where are the bears
at, actually? I'm curious.
Don't worry about it, Jack.
I guess 60 to 1.
60 to 1.
Super chat.
Proceeds going to the U.S. Centers
of Calgary. If you're watching live, you put some money
down with your comment. The money
goes to a great cause. And we then
at the end of the show, get to your
comments, which we do right now.
Richard Braley,
$10. Suddenly, this team is mildly
interesting to watch. Farabee and Frost are
starting to get going.
we could just get Zeri going.
I got one last night.
You could feel it.
I love this because Richard's grading on the scale.
We're a mildly interesting is a really big compliment.
You know what, guys?
He's not wrong.
Mildly interesting.
They were watchable last night.
You wouldn't switch channels.
I do like seeing Zeri score.
Yeah.
And he's right on Ferbion Frost.
Frost,
the offense is finally starting to come.
You see all that soft skill, like the skating, the hands.
Good to see it starting equating.
Soft skill.
Look, he's got a lot of tools.
Why isn't there more offensive?
It's starting to come.
And also he's playing with Coronado and Huberto, which has got to go.
Fairby, keep scoring so we can trade this guy.
Let's go.
Handsome Dan, vacation runners, even after a weekend.
Boy, Dan, 80 bucks, 10 bucks a goal.
Did you guys know that the team to the north has a league worst 84 goals against?
Something's not right up there.
Also, the flames only have to win five more in.
a row and they will be back to NHL 500.
Donnie Malone has hope to be mushy middle again.
Not dead yet.
The dream of winning culture still alive.
I know.
I asked you yesterday.
What's,
is there a chance that we're going to spend the second half of the season doing the,
well, you know,
that's going to be talking about three points out of a wild card, I guess.
What he's not going to sell anybody.
Because, geez.
Tough road trip.
We'll see what they're made of.
Just ask us by Christmas.
Yeah, well, everything will be clear by that.
We'll tell you by Christmas.
Billy.
Billy, hold.
Give Hubie major credit for sticking up for Maddie.
Did it like that?
People loved retro that Hubertoe wet after ranton and after the hit from behind.
Shooting the doops.
It's what should be done.
He did it right.
He did it instant.
Yeah, absolutely.
Major credit.
Sometimes you can see the hamster running and it's like,
oh, I should probably, well, who is, uh, he just went in and did it.
I give him credit. I don't know that it's as hyperbolic.
His fans are making it out to be some are calling it the greatest thing he's done.
Yeah, it's like, all right, settle down.
But it's nice to see him sticking up for teammates.
And I do believe they care for each of it.
It is one of those things where it's like, that's maybe.
Oh, this guy.
Yeah, good on him for doing it.
For sure. It's what you should do.
Uh, if, and if he didn't do it, then we'd be like, what the age?
Yes.
Is nobody going to stick up for your teammates?
So yes.
he deserves some major credit there.
Some credit may not major.
Yes.
Thank you, Billy.
We're all in agreement to a certain degree.
Phillips,
1999 here to add to Dan's
80 bucks for the flames with the two stars scored.
Oh, he's paying for the other team goals?
I guess.
Good game outside of the rant and hit.
Have a good week.
You too.
Phillips.
Phillips.
5368.
Appreciate that.
That's a nice little $20 donation to the kids.
Like that.
Phillips.
Ryan Cliff 1399.
Fantasy hockey is the Dallas model rebuilding.
It's just a normal life cycle of a team.
If the flames don't rebuild, it might actually kill the fan base.
Fans are done.
Some, which I think it probably means done with this crap.
Yeah, he also wanted to call.
after the Dallas model. Fantasy hockey is the Dallas model. Rebuilding is the normal
life cycle of a team. I agree with them. Just need some punctuation there. I guess so.
Yeah. 4988. Sorry, Ryan Cliff. Didn't appreciate the 14 bucks, but for sure. Maybe he's just like
mixing a comma mashing his keyboard. He's done with this. I'm so, sum with this crap. I got
with this crap. God, shit. I feel you, Ryan. Hang in there. We've got you back. Yeah. Yeah. By
Christmas. How? You know what Christmas. I'm not sure what we're going to do for you, but.
We'll be there for you.
Team Eats.
Never seen a rink clear out so fast
during a third period.
Arena was empty on one side when Hughes
scored.
Then dad and I met Weigs,
Anderson, Zeri, Lombo, and Ball
while we were out celebrating.
Unreal.
Celebrating.
Roxy.
Nice.
A fellow stayed in Vancouver last night.
Five two.
Go have a good time.
Lombo.
Go have a good time.
Crack a couple of bruise, fellas.
Addo you, team eats.
Homer, something, something, five bucks.
Do stats show the flames beat the street finding stars in the mushy middle?
The Dallas model fails if you don't outperform the average.
Yeah, you need so much time to evaluate that.
Like you probably actually need 10 to 15 years.
And Connie's only been running the draft for like two and a half drafts
because he was a late hire to the first one.
I think they've done a better job in the draft,
but it's very early to declare wins and losses.
Over the course of their history,
they drafted brilliantly in the late 80s,
horribly in the mid-90s.
That was the Kachuk, Riko Fata, top six picks, dog shit,
Brent Kron, 20 minutes, top 10 pick.
And it's been a lot better of late,
but you're still waiting for those guys.
It's kind of been better.
Yeah, like, you know, Wolf and men,
Japani and Godro, they've hit a lot in the later rounds, which is hard to do.
And I don't know.
You're changing your amateur scouting staff, get new GMs.
It probably should be evaluated separately.
Your philosophy changes the way that you grade players changes.
Who is going to be the GM though?
We've got to know that too.
That is Connie.
Yeah.
Rocket Ruby.
Charles!
I'm confused at what Maloney has even won as a manager.
What makes him the expert on building a winning culture exactly this goddamn team?
God damn it.
I hear you.
Rocket.
Double R.
I like the photo there.
That's who is?
That's the doctor from the mother show.
What's,
Beaker's beside him and Veker.
I mean,
hey,
what have we won as managers in the NHL?
We have one shit.
No.
Nothing.
But I would have higher expectations for a poho than schlubs on the internet.
The flames, I was going to say, the flames are paying him considerably more than they're paying us.
Right.
I'm willing to go do what I'm doing for what they're paying him.
Yeah, I mean, if I'll drive down there and take all kinds of heat.
Hey, Mer.
Reach out.
You want to.
We probably, we'd probably split it three ways even.
Yeah.
I don't even know that we don't need to make what he's making.
You want some positive PR.
We can hammer that winning culture angle.
Just put us on payroll.
Yeah.
We'll have a press conference.
We'll be dressed up.
We'll have a lot of yucks.
We know pretty much everybody down there anyway.
We've signed.
Yeah.
We don't need any phony bologna titles either.
We know how to handle a microphone.
Won't say a bunch of dumb shit.
Eric Zane, boys.
I listened to Dregs on last week.
He said he could envision them trading
Caudry slash Coleman slash Andy Anderson, but not a full rebuild.
To me, that basically is a rebuild.
What do they actually think a rebuild is?
This is a great point by Eric, because Maloney keeps saying not tearing it down to the studs.
I mean, we don't know what that means.
Maybe for them, that means all three of these guys.
Maybe for the flames, it means also moving the likes of Weiger, you know,
Farabee, I don't know.
They're talking in analogies, so we have no idea what they think a retool versus a rebuild is,
but we also don't know what a re-bigel is,
and we definitely noted that Don Molini wasn't comfortable
when he caught himself saying the word,
rebuild, re-biggle, re-tool.
Yeah.
What does take it down, burn it to the studs mean?
It's not like you don't have vets.
Like, you still got Backlin for the next two and a half years.
You still got Weeger for five.
You still got Hubert O for five.
You've got Ball who's coming into his late 20s now.
Like, it's not like if you traded those three,
guys that Eric's noted that it's like, well, it's just all kids now.
I'm telling you, though, it's still one of my main takeaways for the whole thing,
not to rehash the entire show, but to this point, the no comment on the Conroy
contract and the, well, we could probably could sure, we could probably use a few of those players
now that Conroy traded in year one.
So the, the Tanev, having Tanev and Lindholm and Hennifun, and Lindholm and Hanifun.
Zadorob.
Zedorov.
Those extensions would have been the better way to go.
You'd be over the cap, but sure thing.
Poho Doho.
Oh, yeah, you'd be way over.
Hellbent.
$5.
With WW War Games fast approaching,
I'd pay any price to see the Boomcat
versus Bologna Maloney.
What a paddle.
Middle of the ring.
Toto to toe, mono or mono.
What kind of a match?
Maybe stipulations?
Well, he's going to have better.
cardio and be in better shape.
Regardless of the age. I think he's 67
years old or something like that.
Some of those blonde wrestlers age well,
like Rick Flair was doing it, what, into his 70s
almost? I would need to come in. It would
need to be like an ultimate warrior thing where I come
in, squash it in a hurry.
Yeah, yeah, quick, quick. Before my fitness
or lack thereof kicks in.
Because then all, if Maloney starts
stretching me out and taking me out into the deep water,
I'm fucked. Like,
who was machos ring tart?
Elizabeth.
Are you going to bring someone in?
You might need a little bit of distraction and some, you know.
I'm thinking more like China.
Someone who can really hold their own, maybe cause some interference,
do some damage.
I'll distract the referee and then maybe chair shot to bologna over in the corner.
You're eating a bologna sandwich.
Everyone sees what's happening.
China's working.
I got something in my eye.
I'm like, hey, right up here, help me with, ow.
I got something in my.
And then whack!
I tell you what,
I would be well versed in the dark arts.
I would be able to,
I'm not sure that,
who,
I mean,
who would be the,
who's going to be the heel
and who's going to be the baby face there?
Oh,
you're the heel.
It depends where it is.
If you're in Calgary,
yeah,
because if I'm,
if I'm the baby face,
I can't be doing that kind of stuff.
That's heel behavior,
for sure.
To be distracting the referee
while the opponent takes a chair shot.
Well, you're the heel.
Okay.
Then that works.
And you've seen enough chicanery.
You would have,
have all the dirty tricks, like the lead pipe under the curtain, just all kinds of nasty tricks.
Are you going fully attired or just shorts?
I like the one strap, Leo.
Yeah, the, the Andre.
Yeah, the big show, the one strap.
Get one boob hanging out.
Yeah.
No, actually, you know, just think about it.
But then if you wear the two, I'm kind of pressing the man boobs together.
They might chafe.
The uni boob.
See, I don't know if we can do this.
It's going to be tough.
It's going to be tough.
We got a workshop that
Bologna maloney name too.
It just doesn't roll off.
Contact spanks and see if they can,
what kind of compression where they have to keep all my,
all my bits together.
No one wants to see that.
Nobody wants to see that.
I think it could sell out the dome.
Even the new bill.
100% could sell out the dome.
We'll get Rob Kerr in there.
He's good at this.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, hey.
got a price
I suppose
Okay so wait a minute
You want to run the team
So you'll be like the president of hockey ops
But there's also some
A battle royal thing that you're going to do as part of the contract
It's a stipulation
Whatever I mean whatever yeah
Whatever it takes
If it's a ladder match
It's like ow I can't get up the ladder
My calves are too sore
Be tough
Is that it, Jack?
That is it.
Jack went to get his.
No, I'm here.
DoorDash.
He's got to pick up on Mike.
I see.
Well, that was a show.
Now, here's the thing.
I don't know what I am, I'm up in the air for tomorrow's show.
Okay.
Because here's what I got going on.
The fellas at Crystal Waters plumbing and heating, they're coming over to the house.
And they're doing the whole.
we're going to get in, we're going to check.
What do you got?
You got an air conditioner, you got a furnace, got a hot water tank.
You got a tankless tank, water soft.
What do we got going over there?
So they're going to do the whole deal.
And they're going to, they're filming it and stuff.
We're going to have some footage.
So I kind of got to be around to be, uh, you know.
Did you mention that do you have a job or they didn't?
They're aware.
Yeah, they're aware, but they're coming over bright and early.
I assume I'm going to be okay.
But it might be a little in and out.
We're going to have to just kind of play.
play it by here, but I'll be from here tomorrow, from the home studio tomorrow.
Okay.
Maybe some updates from the garage, from the, uh, the furnace room and all of that.
I like that.
You get the garage heater put it in too?
And I think the garage heater is going in or something.
Yeah.
Sweet.
Yeah.
But it's going to be a big day at the, uh, at the, at the, at boom grilla tomorrow.
Shade, boom.
We're, we're very excited for, uh, for that.
But yeah.
Crystal waters.
Shouts.
So great.
So great.
Later this week.
as well, we're going to be launching year number four of our top shelf elf Christmas auction campaign.
Closer to home is the charity that once again we have been that we're joined up with.
They do great stuff.
They have their adopt a family.
Every year they bring in money and there's a full list.
And unfortunately, the list keeps getting longer of families who are just there's not going to be a Christmas without some financial assistance.
and what we do is try and raise some money,
then it gets to closer to home.
They get gift cards for grocery stores,
shopping malls,
different stores, whatever.
And then the people who receive that,
instead of just getting pre-wrapped gifts,
which is great,
there's nothing wrong with.
They get the gift cards with enough time
to then go out and buy gifts for their loved ones,
which I just think that's the best,
that anticipation on Christmas morning,
where you're invested in picking the gift,
that you know your loved one is going to go crazy about that the giving is is more than the
getting I think when it comes down to it. So I love that. And we're going to start the auction,
I believe on Wednesday or Thursday, something like that. But it's going to run for for a little
over a week, a long enough time that we can get some interest going and get the things up. And we
got some great stuff once again to auction off. And we appreciate everybody for jumping in.
I'll say this. If you, if you got something to donate, reach out. We,
we've got some sponsors that have done some stuff.
We have some people that aren't sponsors that just want to be involved.
And everyone's welcome here as we raise money for an awesome cause.
So we'll be doing that later this week as well.
There's flames hockey this week.
A couple days to get some.
Out an FLA.
Yeah.
Thursday going from Rett's house.
We're going to be so full of food.
Oh, I got some kid hockey practice Thursday.
That's going to be a challenge.
The trip to fin is going to hit.
Man, I didn't pass out on a couch.
Kids are going to have to.
Yeah, yours are old enough.
They'll figure it out.
Yeah.
Survivors.
We'll eat early.
You'll be back on your feet by then.
It's true.
I think I'm all right.
Although with kids sport,
practices could pop up out of nowhere.
Yeah, we're just all of a sudden scheduling an exhibition game for the next five days.
Thanks.
Great.
Yeah.
Anyway, big week.
Big week ahead, man.
Yeah.
Big week ahead.
Hey, Jack.
Hey, boom.
How was the show today?
Great show. I'm cold.
I don't know if I left a window open or I didn't pay my bill, but is freezing in here.
Which do you think is more likely?
The window or the unpaid bill?
Maybe both.
That'd be deadly.
Yeah, both could be right up up there.
I don't know.
My dog would love it over there then.
I'll just send bear over to your place.
He'd be so happy.
Did you maybe pay your power bill from the place you live three years?
years ago because you have ordered pizza to the place you lived at three years.
That is possible.
Yeah.
They're like, it's so hot in here.
God, I just.
So you got one in a snowbank and the others in front of the fireplace.
Is that confirmed?
That's right.
Yeah.
One goes outside to pee and runs back in as soon as possible.
He's like, fuck.
The hell is going on.
I've got no body fat.
I got nothing going on here.
This is bullshit.
And the other one's like, where are you going?
Come on, come on outside.
Let's hang outside.
Come on.
Bud, what are you doing?
Yeah.
It's like me and my wife.
Totally incompatible.
Big Bear.
The boys can have three in a row as a treat.
Hashtaggy, re-biggle.
So this is what they get.
So the losing starts again right away?
All right, half three in a row.
Re-bigle.
Just assholes.
This holes everywhere.
Thank you, big bear, Sagi.
All right.
