Starting point is 00:00:03 Off and rolling, it's a Wednesday. Welcome to Barn Burner. It's Boomer. It's Pinder and it's retro. Bon. A little Bon Burner presentation of Bet36 365. World's largest sports betting platform. Get yourself an account if you haven't already when you do so.
Starting point is 00:00:17 Use the promo code nation when you sign up. Get the app. Get going. Whatever the moment, it's never ordinary at Bet365. Can't forget tomorrow. We have a 10.30 kickoff. We start the show with our Thursday football bets. All right.
Starting point is 00:00:29 Cool. We in. Very good. Be ready? All right. I told the boss, so he'll be honest. Okay. What's the first one?
Starting point is 00:00:35 Strait Chicago. Boy, that feels like without knowing the line. Feels like about 10 points. Which way you want to go. Yeah. That's got to be a big number. No one knows off the top of the head,
Starting point is 00:00:48 but when is the last time the lines haven't covered? They've had some extreme... Was that Houston game? Where they still won and got through like five picks? Yeah. They had five picks our way down and came back and won. Yeah, that's right. Excuse me.
Starting point is 00:01:01 Yeah, well, Yeah, what's the line? 10? I would say it's that 10. It's the 10 with Chicago. 10 even. Cowboys favored. You know they're playing some dog shirt team if that's case.
Starting point is 00:01:13 It's the Giants. Might be moving to the third quarterback of the year, three and a half. And Packers by three and a half at home against the Finns. That seems fun. Yeah. This is the booziest day of the calendar year in America. Once you get where you're going.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Once you get where you're going tonight. Booze cats. I was saying this is the go. go get banged up and make out with someone at the bar night. This was the, I've never seen anything like it. I was in the U.S. for American Thanksgiving, a couple times, but this one time was in Philadelphia. Philly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:47 And, I mean, beautiful girls. Cocktail dresses, like, dressed up. Oh, yeah. Let's go. Laying on the pavement. Oh, yes. Right where the gutter and there's like, it's wet, laying on the ground. Just trashed.
Starting point is 00:02:08 So have fun with that, if that's your thing. Hell yeah. Go get after that tonight. Get after it. Yep. Get after it. For the rest of us, I guess, well, I'm, it's Wednesday. Are you going to partake?
Starting point is 00:02:21 Yeah, what do you do now that you're here? I know when you're in Buffalo, you made a big deal about this. I'm surprised you're not in Buffalo, to be honest. I should get disrespectful. Is there anywhere to go? You guys want to go out, Jack? Get the found? Hey?
Starting point is 00:02:33 Light it up? that you're a Yankee great slate of hockey tonight is there that's not what I mentioned a lot of games yeah that's not what he was talking about you don't want to watch any hockey watch hockey it can be on in the background at the bar when you're getting piled up come on we really need to launch it walk and chew gum right that's right he's texting like a maniac no no I'm doing a bet 365 he's getting his bet 365 I'm going to do a massive parlor calgary flames big uh it's game day it's game big day big game huge game biggest game of the season must win game as they're in detroit trumpy what you just rampled through there must
Starting point is 00:03:09 win this biggest game never been a bigger game right in the same like this ever the other games are horrid they're the unpopular nobody watches this is a huge one it's the best we've ever had i was talking to the guys they said this is a must win game in detroit to take on the red wings first of a three game homestand for the wings and the flames continue their road trip okay. They won two of their last three, but prior to that it was one four. Yeah, I was going to say so like the last six days have been okay. They're happy
Starting point is 00:03:41 with the last six than the prior ten, I think is probably safe to say. Yeah, they beat the Islanders four two Monday night, Alex line in net. Not tonight. Patrick Kane did not play the other night. Kane out tonight, Lyon out tonight. Hussau recalled to back up. How many legs?
Starting point is 00:03:57 How many legs? 15-legged. No, 14-legged. 14-legged. Oh, I missed one. 14. Like, you missed the flies? Sorry, Jinks. Jack could love that. He can get behind a 14-leg parlor. Jack in? He doesn't even look at it. He's like, yep, Ian. What's the odds?
Starting point is 00:04:13 Plus a billion. Yes. Well, that's a big win. Yeah. You will be drinking tonight if this comes through. 3-277. What are we? 233,277. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:27 So $1 would win you. $10 wins me $35,000. Jeez. I'm in. he's in for the money. He doesn't know who you're taking. I'll send you half when I win. You got to pay him for half the bet and the pizza yesterday, too, I think.
Starting point is 00:04:42 Yeah. It's good pizza. So do we know Kane is available? Canes out. Okay. And Lion tweaks something and warm up. Huso is going to be backing up. So they'll bring him in from Grand Rapids where he is.
Starting point is 00:04:56 Or maybe he's just a three goalie system there. Vile. Husso. Like that. Yeah, I did. Lynn? Yeah, it was good. Lynn Lines is?
Starting point is 00:05:04 Of course I know Lynn Lines. It's not Lions. I know, but sorry. Loins. Lynn Loins, yes. Cam Talb,
Starting point is 00:05:14 I saw his name come up in Canada Four Nations talk. That's so bad at this, boys. Remember I've been saying for three years? You can't produce goalies? Nine or a 921 say percentage,
Starting point is 00:05:23 2.62 goals against. What is this BS? We can't. We maybe aren't. But that's because the children are choosing not to play. It has nothing to do. with the ability of the people that are developing. So you think it's not enough kids playing that?
Starting point is 00:05:36 Yeah. Okay. I think that's part of it. Yeah. It's, I mean, you only can see it everywhere there's a great goal. Haschick and Buffalo, all of a sudden kids in Buffalo want to play goal. Kipper here, you need a goalie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:51 So all those kids growing up playing watching Montreal, Kerry Price don't want to be goalies. He's never had a stance until this kid became a goalton. No, I've been saying this for five years, man. Come on. You say it's the U.S. development team. No, no, no, no, no. When you looked like five, ten years ago, it was all Finns. The Finns were the best of producing goleys.
Starting point is 00:06:07 They had the best curriculum to teach goalies. Well, I mean, they had freaking Mika and all these, like, Renee, they were the best in the world. They were coming for that. Russia couldn't produce a goalie for their life 15 years ago. They were importing goleys from Canada for the cage. Now the Russians are superb for whatever reason. They've got four of the best on Earth.
Starting point is 00:06:25 You've got Vibrovsky, Shostrk, and Sorokin, Vaselovsky. So it can't be just because? Well, I'm sure just because is probably a big part of it. It's just odd that for 10 years, we haven't had an elite goaltender come up. Isn't it? For Canada, it's never happened before in the history of the game. And now it's happening. We're just normal.
Starting point is 00:06:41 I think it is, it's overreacting. No, but I think it's, but to start sussing out some diagnosis or having a summit as to why, it could just be. Because not as many kids. So for the first time in this nation's history, we just don't produce elite goalies. Why? You don't think that's worth looking into?
Starting point is 00:06:57 In our nation's history? I don't. Like in the history of the game has always been elite elite, elite net miners from Canada. Right now, we're looking at, these sort of middish guys like Thompson and Hill and Bennington, Talbot, like these just aren't guys that get Veznes. So what if there was one guy? That would be less worried.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Because if you go, because it was Marty Brodor, Patrick, Guadro, there's been. Longo, price. Okay. So let's plop one, let's plop one elite guy. Let's take Scherken's. If Schisturkins from Port Hope, Ontario, I feel better. By one guy. Well, because he's, at least you have one elite guy.
Starting point is 00:07:30 We're developing them the correct way. No, no, no, I would be lesser. The issues wouldn't be as large. That we can't produce one guy is an issue. There might not be a country on earth that has more kids playing that than Canada. We can't produce an elite one. That's something's off. And it used to be just an absolute pipeline.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Mark Andre Fleury, Luongo. Okay, wait, wait, wait. That's not a pipeline. Why is Mark Andre Fleury is still playing? So if you want him, he could be a three and be a vibes guy in the room. He's not a number one or is he considered an elite superstar goal? Not for five years, probably, no. Okay, so.
Starting point is 00:08:04 But. So since Mark Andre Fleury was at the top of the game, I don't know that there's been, aside from the odd, like, oh, Bennington pops up for a year. Okay, so who are your top five Canadian goaltenders of all time? All time? Probably Waubrador, Luongo, Price, and maybe like a Dryden or something. So every 10 years, there's one. Yeah, and now it's been like 10 years without one.
Starting point is 00:08:26 So if we have one next year. I don't think anyone playing now, you know, Flurry accepted, because he's a, the end of his career is even the top 10 in the NHL. Never mind top 10 of all time. I just think if there was one guy, no one would be talking about anything. They'd be talking about it less. Yeah. It would just be well,
Starting point is 00:08:43 you've got this guy and then who's going to be the backup? Yeah. It doesn't matter because he's not going to play. So whatever. And so that we, I don't know that if you look back every four years, whether it's Canada Cubs or Olympics or World Cups, we've always had a megastat goal.
Starting point is 00:08:54 Like you can't pull up a roster that doesn't have. This is the equivalent of like Mike Smith being our guy for Canada. I'd be like, that's not right. We could do better than Mike Smith. But now we're all just like, That's not a problem. I love that you're into the we.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Well, it's Canada. We're out there. So then you should cheer for Edmonton when they go to the finals. No, I'm talking about best and best national sport. We're talking about Olympics, World Cups, four nations. I, if you go to the Olympics that don't have a league goalie, it'd be the first time ever in Canada's history since the pros have gone. It just would be.
Starting point is 00:09:23 So you guys don't have to care. I've been talking about this with Kevin Woodley for five years and it's like weird. Something's up. So the goalie guy. The goalie whispers are concerned. The goalie whispers are concerned. The goalie that wants to talk about. Goals.
Starting point is 00:09:34 Yeah. It is odd. Can you at least give me that? I will give you that. Yeah, it's odd. I don't. Yeah. And I don't want to overblow it.
Starting point is 00:09:42 And maybe there's some kids coming, but like Carter Hart wasn't it. He was supposed to be it. You know, there's a kid that's in the Western League, Ravensburg and it's going to go really high in the first round playing in PG. He's phenomenal talent. He was at that game last night. It was unbelievable. Wasn't? Unbelieved.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Did not see any of it. I don't want to sidetrack you. No, you're good. Because that ties into this. Like, The old kids are phenomenal hockey players. Well, that's a safer guy on defense?
Starting point is 00:10:07 Unreal. Unreal. And he, he starred, I think, at the under 17s this summer. And they're like, this is going to be a monster minute at all situations, defensemen. You're going to be the shits for Shafel.
Starting point is 00:10:16 He might go four or five. That's what people are saying. It's insane. Like, how can you get that far? Then again, I've watched other guys play. They're just the hockey and talent of these children. Yeah. These high schoolers that look like they could play in the NHL to them.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Yeah. It's wild. Hagen's is going to be a megastead. He wasn't even playing. Mortone. Mortone. Martone. Every shift he touched the puck. Craig Button's got him, what, one ahead of Hagen's on his draft list right now.
Starting point is 00:10:43 I was, I was, I'm like, when he gets the puck, no one stops it. There's Frondell in Sweden. Mesa? Mesa is going to be a month, but the top defense of the class is this Matthew Schaefer, it seems. Flames could use him. Put him on the opposite side of Perrick. Let's go. Left.
Starting point is 00:11:00 left right. Don't need a lefty. You do need a lefty. You got all righties. He's got five righties on this team. Oh, come on. Anyway. So, Cam Talbot, 2.62 and a 921.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Having a good year. He, uh, for a guy that doesn't stay in any one place that long, he provides decent goaltending for teams. He was good for the Rangers. I think he was better for the Oilers. I think looking back, they'd probably like to have kept them in hindsight. He was fine for the flames at times. He was good.
Starting point is 00:11:30 LA last year he actually kind of came up Because I think the year prime I'm trying to remember where he played it was not great But last year it was like no no Minnesota right there's a minute Yeah and then went Ottawa that wasn't a good stop I think they tried to tell him for Gustafson How about that?
Starting point is 00:11:47 So to try tonight They got some old goats on that team They do and they got young guys that you thought would be superstars That are kind of just still young guys too Yeah we were very excited about a few of these guys Not Larkin was supposed to be He's good but he's not a superstar.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Yeah, he's not a superstar. There are lines if you want to look at him, Dino. Talbot 37, Justin Hall, 32, Ben Chirot 33, Tarasenko is 32, Cop is 30, Petri's 36, Gustafsson 32, Kane is 36. Yeah, they love going and getting old guys in free agency. I thought they would be a useful... Sherat Petrie Hall.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Sherat Petrie Hall, those are not good ideas. Like, they're just old and not great. That's a long list of... of me. Steve Y, man. Old and meh. Not old and still really good. We mention it with Frank.
Starting point is 00:12:39 Stevie Y. There's a lot of, like, a lot of questions all of a sudden. Remember, it was what, five years ago? Ben Chirot was dealt at the deadline.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Like, has he got anything left? It's a lot to pay for a guy. To Florida, right? For a first. It's like, I'm starting to hear that. I had no idea they were a bunch of old bastard.
Starting point is 00:12:55 And Justin Hull was like, nobody wore the goad horns in Toronto like that guy did. And they immediately paid him in free agency. they immediately pay charot and free agency Tarasanko's not young and maybe all of those are expiring soon
Starting point is 00:13:08 but as we sit here today they're an old club with some young there's no question there's some very who's the young guys you know Mo Sider's young Edvinson is young
Starting point is 00:13:16 Casper Bergen Raymond but okay so five yeah not as young as you think but they've been bad for a while you're right yeah like I was expecting to be a Sabers
Starting point is 00:13:26 Sends type of situation Anaheim's really young right because they've been bad yeah we're young and we're But we're coming. Yeah. For every young guy, they got an old goat.
Starting point is 00:13:34 They aren't young. And one guy I mentioned in there is a favorite of one guy sitting at this table. One guy you mentioned in there. Jack, let's take a look. Memory Lane here. Uh-oh. It's February of 2020, Gustafson in his fourth year as a Black Hawk. He's a UFA, wants a long-term deal.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Gets the phone call. Pack your shit. You're going to Calgary. He's here for seven games, 10 more in the playoffs, Pinder Falls and Love. but he's not loving it back. He goes to Philly as a free agent. By April, the Flyers have seen enough. They say pack your shit again.
Starting point is 00:14:09 You're going to Montreal for a seventh rounder. He's a hal for five games, 16 more in the playoffs. Back to Chicago. They keep him for 59 games. Free agency again. Now it's Washington. Can he get a long-term deal? 38 points and 61 games?
Starting point is 00:14:27 No. Traded to Toronto for Rasp of Sandine. nine regular season games, two more playoff games, and pack you shed. Hello, New York Rangers. Hello, Chris Drury, 31 points in 76 games. Is that enough for a deal? It isn't. Steve Y says, I'll take a swing.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Nine moves, eight different teams in just over five years. You were a big fan. Hey, look, 31 points last year. That's impressive. For a guy, what's he make? Well, it can't be much. But that's my whole point. like that's that's a these are I get why he's moving around like he's got major warts but skating north he
Starting point is 00:15:05 he can do some things this is because whenever we would talk about so dora of it's like well he he means how many teams how many locks rooms how many how many how many teams doesn't work they flip at 31 points pretty good well I mean Zodorov makes a lot more his whole career than eric gust so it's a horrible comp I don't think expectations are trying to do at all I don't think he's trying to compare I didn't yeah but I mean that was another one of those things just when I saw my oh fuck here's garick garick garick guff's and then I got love Look, is he scrant? I don't even remember him being in Washington.
Starting point is 00:15:33 Toronto, okay, I kind of remember. He's banged around. Nine moves in five years. They'll go. They'll go play. Yeah. It's not bad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Wow. As far as this game, the wings have the worst penalty kill in the league. Yes. God, it's. They've scored four in a row. They're 50%, their last 10 power posts. So there you go. Wings power plays pretty good.
Starting point is 00:16:02 Sixth overall. Only thing they're good at really when you look at the just, you know, they're middling in goals against, their bottom 10 and almost everything else. Power play sixth in the league. Yeah, like five on five. They're not very good. Goals against, not very good.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Like you say, and they've been bad for a while. See, and the thing that stuns me the most is how many veterans you've mentioned. Yeah, there's a few in there. Honestly, I'm like, what? And so this is what's crazy is that Stevie Y has felt like they're these veterans away from being good and they're still not good. So now you're old and expensive and up against a cap when you don't need to be. Are they up against the cap? Of course they are.
Starting point is 00:16:43 Everyone is. Yeah. Like, I'll look at it. Well, flames aren't. No, because they are. Don't use general. They aren't adding old guys in free agency. No, most, I'd say 90% of the leagues right up against it.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Flames are not like. Yeah. So there's your. And what do you? Lucas Raymond, good young. He was a top five pick, good player, 20 points and 21 games. Larkin leading the way he's got 12 goals, but six are power play goals. So what?
Starting point is 00:17:03 You don't criticize goals. What do you mean? But is that a catch? That's a positive. It is a positive, but half are coming with the bad advantage. It's fine. Red Wings have four million bucks caps space. Like that's it.
Starting point is 00:17:15 De Brinket, 17 and 21, Moesai are the defense money's big. He's good. Averaging just over 24 in night in terms of minutes. He finally got him away from Ben Chirot. That's helped a bit. Terra Sanko's got two goals and 20 games. Again. J.T. Comfer, Christian Fisher, Eric Gustafson, three assists in 16 games. That's your boy.
Starting point is 00:17:35 But then, yeah, you look down near the bottom. It's Justin Hall, Jeff Petrie, Ben Chirot. Guys looking like us back there. They've had some bad lottery luck, too, for the amount of times they've finished in the bottom three and then slid back and picked it four or five rather than up to one. Hasn't helped. But still, they haven't developed well. This is not what we thought we'd see when Stevie Y took over there. How many years ago? Yeah. Five? At least. because it was when Ken Holland came to Edmonton after that happened, and Kenny just finished his five-year deal, probably seven years ago, six years ago.
Starting point is 00:18:12 It was always entertainment when you would watch for what little entertainment there was on the draft lottery show, how pissed off Eisenman would be when inevitably he doesn't win. We had the worst record in the league and we're picking fourth. What's the fuck is going on again? And they were not just they've been missing the play. They've been bad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:32 They have been probably deserving of, a first overall pick. Then you're in that division where it's like Buffalo is super young supposed to be coming. Montreal is super young. They're going to be coming at some point. Ottawa, same thing. And then you've got these four franchises that are going anywhere. Like you're in tough here.
Starting point is 00:18:45 Like Boston, Toronto, Florida, Tampa. Awesome. Awesome. Maybe this year. But they just changed coaches in a better sense. We'll see. It's karma. One and one since changing coaches.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Yeah. And tonight they got an interesting one against the Islanders on the second half of the back to back. They still can't score. The one game they won was won nothing. They got shut out by Vancouver last night. I like the under against Salinger's tonight. They were good for so long. This is what goes around comes around.
Starting point is 00:19:10 Oh, look at you. We got Haschick and we got Chelios and Lidsstrom and Hall and Shanahan and guys. But you know what? That's a long time ago, though. They've missed the playoffs for what, seven? Since he's been there. It's around seven or eight years. They almost caught in last year, if you remember.
Starting point is 00:19:25 And it was Washington and Torts had pulled his goal. Oh, yeah. We were on that overtime. And Little Sears was rammed. and you're like, oh man, I almost forgot how good of a hockey market that is when the team's good, because it's been forever. Don't get in. And now it looks like uphill climb.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Yeah. They do have this Sebastian Kosa kid, this monster 6'8 goalie that they're waiting on. He's 22. That could help. Canadian? No. I can play in the Western League, though. Yeah, he played Edmonton.
Starting point is 00:19:53 Yeah. Let's go to the insider hotline. It's a presentation of Crystal Waters, plumbing and heating. All residential plumbing, heating, and cooling services and needs, these are the guys you talk to. Cold weather, huh? They're getting, it sounds like getting the calls, we've got no heat. Our water, our hot, there's minus 16. Preventative maintenance. That's the, that's our catchphrase when it comes to crystal water. Get them in and look at your, just look at your everything that you got going because it's November, but December, January,
Starting point is 00:20:25 February can be a real humdinger out there for you. Crystal waters, plumbing and heating, your crystal clear choice for home comfort call 403, 219, 41, 4.1.4.4.4.4.1. 100 or check them out at crystal clear calgary.com from tsn this guy for sure would be on the four nations roster oh yeah this year hell yeah he's a Canadian boy seriously off ice off ice coordinator absolutely I'd be invited in there I'm Julie mccoy I would be the Julie McCoy from the love boat I would be set up all the parties and all of that fun stuff it'd be absolutely I've been four nations cup just not playing Run YouTube.
Starting point is 00:21:03 When you bring up a love boat reference, just how many people know of the love boat anymore? I'm 50 years old. Pinder wouldn't, Boomer would know who it is. And Boomer's what, 60? How old are you? The love boat. Thanks for that, by the life. What?
Starting point is 00:21:22 Why the Canadians suck at gold tending? Ryan wants to. Well, we've had this ever for. What do you make of it? No mega studs in that. It's a cycle right now. now and you could argue, I mean, I've had this argument. Seven out of ten last cup winners have been Canadian goaltenders,
Starting point is 00:21:40 even though they've just been average or whatever. They've gotten the job done. You go back to Holt B and, you know, who was the guy, Cory Crawford, you know, Kemper, Matt Murray, Bennington, Aden Hill. Like, you know, you've got seven out of ten of the last cup winners. But you're right. Like there is, if I said you're Russian goaltending, I mean, there's there's a three pack there that's as good as anybody, right? Who you snub it? It's four. Who's four?
Starting point is 00:22:12 Who's four? Who's four? Bavrovsky, Vasilevsky? Oh, yeah. You know what? I've snubbed Bob by accident and I shouldn't. He might be the top of the top of the list. You're right. Like there's just other countries are ahead. You know, the U.S. has a three or four pack that you could throw at you. So go ahead, Red. Well, I'm just because what is it an issue?
Starting point is 00:22:36 Like Ryan's, it's an issue. Ryan wants an answer. Okay, I'm going to give you a crazy. You want a crazy answer? Is that you can make $5 million a year of being a third line left winger. Ask Blake Coleman. And nobody cares about Blake Coleman's play.
Starting point is 00:22:53 But God forbid, you make $5 million as a goaltender. Jack Campbell, you're a bum. You name it. There's all these people. signing for five million you're like that guy's not worth five million but a third line left winger is that's no but that's that's a change country noodles you still make a five million if you're Swedish or Finnish or Russian or American my point being is that it's not as sexy to be a goaltender nowadays because everyone it the the pressure is mounted to the point where it's like
Starting point is 00:23:21 everyone's like oh replacement level goaltending we can just do this we can just do that like I was I was going to say plus kids see Connor badar and Kale McCarr. Who do you want to be? You want to be him or do you want to be the guy trying to stop those guys? I agree with all that. It's just not a Canada-specific issue. It doesn't separate.
Starting point is 00:23:40 It's not different in the United States. I agree 100%. It's a world issue. I go to these goaltender seminars in the summer put on by the Goldie Guild and there's 150 goalie coaches there from all over the world. Met with this guy, Thomas Magnuson, who's the head of the Swedish federal. And for a cycle there, they had too many goalies because everybody wanted to be Lungquist.
Starting point is 00:24:08 But then what happened is you're seeing goaltenders now at ages 14 to 16 having surgery because everybody does these power pushes. So it's almost like having a pitch count. These kids at six, seven, eight years old, their bodies are being worn down because you're not supposed to be doing organically some of these pushes and they're doing a thousand a day. I don't know. You're right. It's not a world problem. It's specific to Canada right now. There's a cycle. But you could argue that, you know, I think there are some guys that, you know, might be able to push through. I think the kid in Buffalo has a chance. I like him. Levi, I do. I like his skill set. I think it's just going to take time.
Starting point is 00:24:50 I mean, when I first saw him, I thought he was a young Mark Andre Fleury. Same kind of skill set, explosive, overactive in the net, but has, really good feet has a nice demeanor seems like he has good size to him but he's what 21 22 he's just sent to the a like i'm just not yeah no but i i that you could argue that mark andre fleury was this far away from being sent to the a early in his career because pittsburgh was so bad and it almost ruined him though you know i i i don't know you're i you're a hundred percent right. Like I don't have an actual answer why it's been a cycle in Canada other than the fact that there has been some, if anything, the one thing I would point out, and this is kind of a shot at me and maybe my generation is goaltending has, if you had the top, where the top here
Starting point is 00:25:44 and in the NHL and my generation and the generation before, the bottom guys were down here. Now the bottom guys have come to here. Everybody's here. So everyone, the gap has closed between the top and the bottom of the league where everybody's good and then there's great. Where in my generation and the generation before, there was a real big separation between the bottom and the top. And I think everyone's become good goalies. And I don't know if good is enough. You know, like we're looking for great.
Starting point is 00:26:18 And we just don't have great right now. We just have good. Yeah. Is everything grow together and the point I'm getting at is the skill level of the player. I watched that CHL versus the national development team last night. Unbelievable. Those kids, the skill levels are off the charts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Goaltending is getting better. Are the kids so much better? Like you're a great goaltender, but you've got guys coming in and actually hitting this area. That's what they're aiming for. and they're making the shot. Is it all relative? It is in the sense now. The one thing where there was a patch where
Starting point is 00:27:02 goaltenders were kind of better than shooters. And what I mean by that is, but what happened is goaltending was a niche specific. So you had all these goalie co-I just talked about these goalie seminars, goalie coaches. They were coaching against the shooters. You know what's happened now? The shooters have coaches.
Starting point is 00:27:21 And the shooters are now picking apart the goalies going, okay, if you're going to play the percentages, 87% of goaltenders will cover this part of the net. So now we're shooting at the 13% and it's at the ear. It's in between the five and six hole. Like these are what's happening. And same type of thing. I went to a goalie seminar in Colorado and they brought in Joe Pavelski's skills coach. He's from Vancouver.
Starting point is 00:27:50 I want to say his name is Ron Johnson. And he talked about tipping pucks, but he also talked about quadrants and what he teaches his shooters now, as opposed to, you know, if everything's blind, you get a puck in the slot, you got a half second to get it away. You're not picking your spot. What you're doing is shooting to quadrants and going, okay, I know this goaltender likes to do this. It's all pre-scouting, but it's also getting your shot away. So Pavelsky, he would say, geez, we would.
Starting point is 00:28:20 would study these goalies now. So now it's gone the other way where the players are studying the goaltenders and going, here's a weakness. And it's not just your goalie coach. Like right when when I was a goalie coach in Calgary and I would put up those pre-scouts of like, hey, this is, this is a big goalie. This we got to get them moving. We've got to do, you know, a lot of them were generic, but a lot of them were specific to who we were playing against that night. This guy liked to poke check. This guy like was very active. He stopped pucks behind the net. Nowadays, if you're looking at a goaltender who's six foot four. So for example, if I'm doing a pre-scout quickly on Stewart Skinner in Edmonton, first thing I want to do is I, I would shoot glove because I think
Starting point is 00:29:01 he drops his glove when he goes down. I would also try and get him moving side to side because I think his skating is just average side to side, but he's six foot four. You've got to shoot around him. You're not, you know, if he's on his game and at the top of his scree, you're not going through them. You've got to find holes or get them moving. So that's the first thing. And now you start to open them up. Jesus, his seal on the post on the blocker side, is it clean? We've seen a few goals sneak in there in the playoffs, the door off, put one short side in Vancouver because he was laid on the play and a little bit lazy. Like those are the things now you start to pick apart. So I would argue goalie's got ahead there where the same percentage there was 930, 928, 928, 920.
Starting point is 00:29:47 Now it's down in the 905 range, 9,900, and the shooters are a lot better. And I come back to my argument, I think we had a couple weeks ago, where it's never been easier to get to middle ice. Because you don't have the Rett Warner's hand opening and breaking your arm and chopping. Like, it's middle ice is, if you want to have a little bit of courage to get there, go, because nobody's going to hurt you. There's maybe two guys in the league that have open ice sitting now in the middle of the ice. outside of that. So to me, it's a combination of higher quality chances, better shooters, and you're seeing goalies get exposed. Nobody has answers. Well, I mean, I think I make valid points, correct? They're all valid points. None of them are specific to Canada, though. That's,
Starting point is 00:30:36 that's what's unique about the situation. It just, the only thing I can, I joke, my son is seven, and he wants to be a goalie. Hopefully he grows out of it by the time he's 10. I don't know. Put them in the wrong added gear. That's a good move. Yeah, I might do that. So quite honestly, though, how much of this is part of it? Parents aren't, they don't love their kids wanting to be goalie. There's never really any encouraging to be goalie.
Starting point is 00:31:05 It's expensive in the gear and all this. All you hear is parents that don't want. I think you hear that in the U.S. and Finland and Russia too, though. I don't think I don't know. Maybe here's the other thing that I could defend on that is, in Canada, it's such a hot button topic. Like, I swear, I did a seminar in front of 600 hockey parents last year,
Starting point is 00:31:27 just kind of like a roundtable, 45 minutes. And somebody asked me, point blank, do you want your son to be a goalie? And I kind of, I gave the answer exactly. I was like, I don't know. I'd like him to, if he was going to ever make the NHL and wasn't going to be Connor Bedard or Conner McDavid, I'd like him to be Blake Coleman.
Starting point is 00:31:48 I'd like him to make $5 million and be a hell of a player and a good guy. There's a lot more jobs. There's not a lot of pressure in that situation. There is personally, Blake puts pressure on himself and he's a winner and all of that. But my point is, I'm not on this podcast every week going, geez, you know what, Black Blake Coleman makes $4.9 million.
Starting point is 00:32:08 I'm really concerned about the money we're spending on him. We just don't. It gets lost in the shuffle where if you spent five million, which is an average now. But, you know, you spent five million on a goalie. People are like, God, that's an overpay. I don't know. We all raised our eyebrows.
Starting point is 00:32:26 He's been great to see. Exactly. Like Joey DeCourt is, he's a really good goaltender, but you're all like, why the hell five million for that guy? When we don't blink an eye for, I don't name a 60 point guy, it makes five million. I'm doing it tonight, Drake Batherson. All of them. Nice player.
Starting point is 00:32:43 They all make about that. Yeah. Maybe what we need to do is we need to get back to the basics. You know, I found this, noodles, I don't know if this is your instruction video. Seminar, right? But we maybe got to teach kids how to do, just how to play it correctly.
Starting point is 00:32:56 Maybe it'll come around. I'd like to go over the kick snaps right now with you, starting with the catcher side. John's going to go down with the right knee and turn his body. We've got the catcher out in front. And to start off with slowly, he's going to go through with the skate and the glove and extend it right up on the top corner.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Notice he's coming right back past the head here. It's extremely important that he keeps the motion going up past the crossbar. You're not going to catch a lot of these shots. A lot of them, you're just trying to get a piece of so they go over the top. Because a lot of times this shot comes from right in tight, and you're just trying to take away the net. If you catch it, that's a bonus. Let's take a look at it again, right through, the pad comes through,
Starting point is 00:33:41 and the extension with the glove right up. A lot of times when you use this, you don't know if the shot is going high or not. You're trying to take away the net on this side because perhaps the puck is right out in front here. So you're bringing everything through. The pad, the stick, and the glove is extending through the top corner. And regardless of where he shoots, you've got a good chance to get a piece of it then. Now let's flip it over and show you the one on the blocker side. We'll move on because it's just so good.
Starting point is 00:34:09 Down on the knee? We'll start with the blocker down here in front. Because a lot of times that's where you want. on it, particularly when you come away from the left post going across the net. Same thing, the extension and the explosion is extremely important. The blocker follows right up past the bar. You have to keep that weight coming right through. It's the best.
Starting point is 00:34:29 You know what I take it all back. I now know why Canada can't produce goals. This guy still doing it, isn't it? I have that video. So that's Jim Park. My mom got me that video for Christmas years ago. The best part, if you can find it, he's doing angle poke checks and he's miked and he's like, it is the greatest.
Starting point is 00:34:55 Jim Park was like, I wouldn't say he's an idol, but I watched that video because he's talking about angle poke checks and he's a lefty goal and he's throwing himself out there. It's unbelievable that video. And what happened is it's starting to trend on Instagram. You get down a rabbit hole. It would be like old school goaltending. You'll see it. And it's like Jim Park. You know, you've got to do a skate save.
Starting point is 00:35:19 You've got to do a glove save. It's unbelievable. That would have been cutting edge at the time. Yes, it was cutting edge back then. I love the heel of the skate dug into the, and toes to the sky and swing it around. I'm a scratcher there. I used to get in trouble.
Starting point is 00:35:37 And this is the God's honest truth. if I didn't stay on my feet, then like if you went down, you're like, you're down all the time. That's lazy. You've got to stay on your feet. My goalie coach, Bob froze at the NHL level. I went down one time on a wraparound. He's like, you've got him. Go side to side and stay on your feet.
Starting point is 00:35:58 That's just lazy goaltending. I'm like, all right. Back then, that's what we did. And then what happened is Patrick Waugh and Tony Esposito and some of these goaltenders that came in. and started to realize that the butterfly covering the net get there a lot faster, they changed the game, man. It was, there's been pockets throughout the years of guys that had changed the game. And I was lucky.
Starting point is 00:36:22 I played with Ron Hextall. He changed the game from a puck handling standpoint. Like there's, you know, Dominic Hasick, Rhett, you played with him. People are like, what the hell is this guy doing, dropping a stick and grabbing the puck with his blocker on that blocker side? Like, it was ingenious back then. I think he invented the paddle down and you know for in tight like and and again people are like this guy he's terrible he does he's so lucky he's so lucky he was so ahead of his time I still think he's the greatest goaltender who ever played the game ever but he was so far ahead but Jim Park that guy was my guy back in the day is he is he your goat you got to see him every day I think Dom's best yeah yeah you need Like as far as we're all in this content creation world, noodles,
Starting point is 00:37:11 you need to recreate that video with your kids. And you know, you would know how to do it. Hey, here we are. It's my, this is my son. I played in the national hockey league.
Starting point is 00:37:22 I played with Roberta Lwango and Grant Fiora, just some tips. So, here's what we're going to, and then go through that whole same thing again. That, that, so when I watch that,
Starting point is 00:37:31 do you guys remember SCTV? I feel like that's Billy Stamavillichke. That's John Candy back there. It feels like a skit. It feels like it's a skit. It's like, you know, it's a cross between slap shot and SCTB. And that's what it is. It's the best.
Starting point is 00:37:51 You know what? If I ever get a chance, I would do that actually like recreate like back of the day. And then stop them and give them shit. No, no, no, no. You got to really get it back. You got to get that. You don't want to be arm back. You don't want to be arm back.
Starting point is 00:38:06 I'm going to catch it, but you just got to get it up there. You just got a piece of it. And if it's behind your head, you do this. Like, oh, my God, it's the greatest. So maybe Canadian goaltending needs to get back to the grassroots. That's right. Yep. And the kids have more fun.
Starting point is 00:38:22 If they're flailing around a net like that, maybe they'd be a saving their right. You know what? The other thing, too, guys, I think, and again, we're just coming up with excuses. This is just me spitball. and goaltending kids used to love the gear they used to love the mask they used to love things i just don't know it's if it's as sexy anymore to kids i don't know like i just like it like what enchanted me about being a goaltender was like putting the pads on like oh my god look at these pads like and back and i started in an age where it was deer hair like that they were like old
Starting point is 00:38:59 leather pads that were stuffed with deer hair 50 kilograms using all the water. Yeah, but that's like being a goaltender was kind of like sexy. It was kind of like the cool thing. I just, I don't know if somehow,
Starting point is 00:39:15 either the parents or even the kids who just, they just don't find it as sexy. It's a tough position. Like I told my son, I said it's a very tough position. And I went out on the ice with him this summer and he got a shot on the knee.
Starting point is 00:39:29 And he wanted to skate off the ice. Like he said, I'm done. And I said, hey, man, you want to be a goaltender? I said, like, you know, stop crying. He was crying. Of course, it was a shot on the knee. And then I said, he goes, I want to leave.
Starting point is 00:39:42 And I said, there's 10 minutes left in practice. Like, you can't quit on your team. You've got to, like, it was a good lesson for him. I said, you want, like, goaltending hurts sometimes. Like, it's, so I don't know. I would much rather, I don't know, being a parent of a child, going into body checking. Rhett was it like when your boys first started body checking. Was that a little bit nervous?
Starting point is 00:40:03 You know, like guys getting hit. Wow, my oldest was the bigger kids. He was the biggest on the ice. Yeah, so he was a mutant. He put a cigarette's down to go out for his ship. Paul onion with his axed in mind too bad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:16 See, that just like anxiety as a parent, it is different. I don't know if I told you this story. I was on, I was calling a game last week. And I'm in between the benches. I'm literally calling and I can see my wife FaceTiming and my son had a game. And I'm like, why is she FaceTime? She knows I'm calling the game. So I press mute.
Starting point is 00:40:40 I, you know, swipe open and she's, her face is sitting there and she goes, he just got scored on from Santa Rice. And I go, yes. What do you want me to do about it? Yeah. And she's like, I don't, she goes, I don't know what to do. She's like, my, my wife. was so rattled that she like and I go welcome to being a goalie's parent like I don't I don't know what
Starting point is 00:41:06 she goes she goes my heart is broken and I'm like is he all right she goes yeah he doesn't care he made a few saves after that but like you know he was so worked up about it she's like he got she goes it was ugly it was ugly and I go yeah he got scored up from center it's ugly you know like but she she wouldn't stop talking about for three days he didn't care so mark Andre fleury did it last week Exactly. Like it just, I guess it maybe it's a special breed that you've got to. And then the weird ones or the different ones stick with it. The other ones move out of it. I don't know. I totally with you. Yeah. I had my kid at hockey camp in August. And my wife is like, this is, we can't do this for a full year? I'm like, this is a hockey camp. You got torture like 13. And then the age group older, like, we don't have any goalies. Can he play against?
Starting point is 00:41:53 Oh, please, dad, can I'm like, he doesn't. Yeah. He's like, yeah. And half. And half. And half. the games the parents are looking at you after your kid shits the better than nice to get some that's the hardest you're looking down at that it's like maybe mixing a goal for my kid yeah novel idea i just i sit as a parent i never i don't interact i just sit in the corner and i and i do it like not to be antisocial and be rude to people i just remember my parents my parents were just pretty quiet my dad just sat in the corner in the spot in the rink all the time and watched and he would always say to me, don't get too high, don't get too low. Just keep everything like this. That was the only like, well, he gave me lots of advice, but that was the advice I took the most.
Starting point is 00:42:38 And, you know, my mom never sat with all the other parents and that. The two of them just sat in the corner. So my wife's like always in the mix and chatting it up and it's social hour. And I sit in the corner where the headphones on and I just, I watched like, and I don't need interaction. But if he allows a goal, you can see them all like looking at me. Like it's my fault. like somehow like he didn't make that save. So it is a bit weird and a little bit stressful, but you know what? He's seven.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Let him be seven. That's the way I look at it. Are you, where are you in California? Where are you? Yeah, San Jose. I'm doing Ottawa. San Jose tonight flew out last night.
Starting point is 00:43:16 And you know what? Celebrini, I'm going to lay eyes on him for the first time, kind of looking forward to that. You know, they're coming off a big win against L.A., the 7-2 win. And Salabrini had two goals.
Starting point is 00:43:28 goals and an assist. He might be, he might challenge our buddy, Dustin Molfier, if he, if, you know, if they keep going. Like, he's, he's, he's a hell of a player. It's interesting. I don't know how you guys feel about that or what you heard about him. So I talked to a scout the other day. And I, this was really kind of, it was a bold statement. He's like, this guy might, might be better in Bedard. And I was like, what? And he's like, no. And he goes, this kid's a player. He goes, he's more well-rounded right now. And obviously they're 18 and 19. So there's lots of pathway to go.
Starting point is 00:44:05 But he goes, this kid is special. He goes, don't like, don't sleep on him. He goes, you know, don't have the Eastern bias because they start the puck drops at 1047 Eastern every night when they play. So you don't get to see them live. San Jose's not a sexy market right now. They're in a rebuild, retool. You know, so not a lot of people are watching this kid. He goes, I'm telling you, this kid.
Starting point is 00:44:28 is really special. I said, all right, I'll take your word for it, because this was a Western scout who had been, you know, really, you know, watching San Jose, L.A., Anaheim, and all of that. So it's interesting. I'll lay eyes on, from a statistical,
Starting point is 00:44:43 statistical standpoint, I think it's sport logic that had him number one on the team in loose puck battles, which I thought was pretty cool. 18. Yeah. 18. Yeah. So, you know, just pick it up. Yeah. exactly but we'll see you know if san Jose is a better team than they were last year but you know
Starting point is 00:45:04 ottawa they need wins man so they've they've got the 10 of the next 12 are against teams like them that aren't in the playoffs and that are battling so we'll see so we saw them on monday the prime game do you believe they can turn this around because i like their performance and i thought that the flames just handed them a free pass with nine penalties like that and secondly calgary and Detroit tonight, why are the wings, feel like they're in neutral here under Stevie. I feel like they have not made much ground up since he arrived. Okay. So I'll just, I'll put a bow on the Sands.
Starting point is 00:45:36 I think they're better than they showed. They played very desperate the other night. Yeah. And you can tell, I thought the flames were sleepwalking early on. And Dustin Wolf made two or three, like, massive saves just to keep that game, it's scoreless. And then Huberdo scores the power play goal. But, you know, the flames you're allowed to throw up a bit of a dud.
Starting point is 00:45:59 Here's the crazy thing is the Forsberg save on Coronado at 3-2. If he doesn't, he back-hands it and he kind of whiffs it and Forsberg kind of grabs it in the crease there. Like to me, Otto was a fragile team. They were almost trying to give it back to Calgary. And Calgary just didn't seize it. But that Coronado saved like that one, If he scores there, Calgary wins that. I agree.
Starting point is 00:46:30 Or if that period was a little bit longer, I think the flames do get to them. And they've been great in the third. They've erased two gold deficits a ton this year. That was absolutely playing right into the flame stands. But so I think Ottawa was a better team than they're showing. I was watching them. They had a pocket there where they beat Boston and Toronto. They were eight, seven, and one.
Starting point is 00:46:49 They were looking good. They were getting saves. They were getting. And then since then they went 0, 04. one and couldn't have that consistency in there. They played well against the flames, got an opportunity here to play San Jose tonight. They play L.A. Saturday. They play Anaheim Sunday.
Starting point is 00:47:06 These are some teams that you're battling kind of in that middle of the road. These are, I wouldn't say winnable games because they have to show up, but they have to play. If they want to stay in the standings and even sniff playoffs this year, these are must wins. And then- Buffalo did. They went out and won those three. Repos California. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:47:26 Exactly. And all of a sudden, Buffalo is right in the mix. And people are talking about, geez, you know, maybe the plans working in Buffalo. Maybe the plans working. In Ottawa, all they're talking about is like, you know, who has to go? What's going on here? And then so I'm going to tie that right into Detroit. I think, I think when I look at it, like Ottawa has a framework of a good team there.
Starting point is 00:47:51 So what I mean is if Allmark can get his act together. you've got a goaltender. I think Sanderson's a star. I just think he needs growth. Like he's a, he's coming. I think Stutz was a star. I think he's a really, really good player. Like, you know, is he a winger?
Starting point is 00:48:07 Is he a centerman? But he's on pace for, I think, 97 points. Let's say he, you know, maybe he gets it, maybe he doesn't. Brady Kuchuk is a unicorn. There's not many players like him in the league that will fight, that will hit, but also score 30 to 40 goals. So they've got some players there in Detroit. What's the spine look like?
Starting point is 00:48:30 Like who's the goalie? You mentioned CASA. Like, okay, maybe if he, you know, okay? And then cider, what is cider? Is he a one? Is he a two? Is he a, you know, I'm not sure because I haven't, I don't see the offensive player from cider.
Starting point is 00:48:46 Like I don't see him like dominating the pot. And then up front, you've got, you know, Raymond Raymond. Raymond. Raymond, De Brinket, like DeBringitt's 27 now. So it's not like, this isn't this young team that's put, you know, like you're, you're going, okay. I'm with Dillen, good player, but not a lot of a young player anymore. So I can't steal these terms, but I, you know, I work with Brian Hasey. Always goes, who's the stars on the team? Like, who's the, you know, not everybody has a McDavid or a Matthews, but who's going to go against those guys nightly? Like when you are going, if you're out in the east, you're, it's Pastornak. If you go in Boston, like every team,
Starting point is 00:49:27 it's Barkoff, it's Kachukh. Like every, in Tampa, it's Kuturov. It's, you know, it's headman,
Starting point is 00:49:34 it's Vasilevsky. So when you look at the spine, what is Detroit's, what is the skeleton of that team that you've built around? I think they're good players. I don't know if they're great. That's,
Starting point is 00:49:46 I guess, that's my biggest concern with Detroit is they've got, I don't know if they've hit on all their, their draft and developing type of thing, but I don't know if they've got a special player there. Like, do they have a special player or did they just have a couple, like, you know, some really good players? I agree.
Starting point is 00:50:03 I think you're right. And they've got half their roster eaten up by guys who are 30 or more. We kind of went through the list this morning. And it's a lot of guys who are. Yeah. He tried to sign, like I can understand he was trying to sign the cops, the, what's his name, the defenseman left hand is shot charrots yeah like you know like that like so you tried to round your team out with veterans and help these young
Starting point is 00:50:33 kids get to the next level but who's stopping poxie he it was billy whoso i don't know is villi on the roster they send him down you just got called up or he's in to backup only because uh lion tweaks something at skate today right so there's right so you got you know you went for who so that didn't work out. So you got Cam Talbot on a two-year deal value. But he's 37, right? So they just, I think Stevie Y had some good faith there, but now you're going, okay, what does this team look like two years from now? Because like we're talking about the team I'm doing against tonight, Celebrini. If he's a special player, I want to see what he's going to be like two years from now
Starting point is 00:51:15 and then build around him. Who are they building around in Detroit? It's just a bunch of good players. You know. Well, we appreciate it. Where does he need to go? San Jose, what's the thing you do with the tacos or something? Oh, yeah, the hookah, Puka. Johnny Rockets, wasn't it? And now it's closed.
Starting point is 00:51:33 I was so glad. All behind the hotel there. It's close. Mexican joint. They closed that hotel, too. I'm at a different hotel. Lucky, Paci. What is it called?
Starting point is 00:51:43 Owen Nolan. It was a Mexican place. Amazing slushy beer drink. Wonderful. Reggie drank a whole bunch of them got pissed. I don't need to be Harry done on the Bronchie. podcast tonight either. Just shaving, just shaving because I come out of the Mexican restaurant. I'm not interested in San Jose. I didn't know him well. I'd met him. Joe Thornton. They had that
Starting point is 00:52:03 thing from the other night. Some of the stories, unbelievable. Do you know them? You get any personal interactions? You know what? We have, as we all do, a friend of a friend who's close. And there's not a bad word said about this guy. Never. Like, he might be actually like the When, you know, when you talk about somebody, they're like, that guy is, like, that guy was the epitome of a great teammate, great hockey player, great, you know, just everything, drink. You're a great person. Just want to be around him. Unique guy, you know, the beard and no tarp and all that.
Starting point is 00:52:39 That was a bit weird for me. It was like he's like an old hippie. But, you know what? I think he's awesome. And you're right. Like, I've got a lot of mutual friends that just rave about him. say he's just the best person. And I can see it.
Starting point is 00:52:54 Yeah. Wasn't it Dylan we had on? Brennan, yeah. He played with, he played in San Jose and he was telling a story about how he had pissed the puck away and gave up the game winning goal. He's like, oh, my God. He feels terrible. He's like, this is awful.
Starting point is 00:53:07 Gets in, you know, get going to the bus, they get on the plane. He's just, oh, this is the worst. He's walking towards the back of the plane. And Joe's in there already. Shirt off. Cards are ready to go, what the fuck you worried about? Sit down. Play some cards.
Starting point is 00:53:19 Yeah. We play again in two nights. You got nothing but games. 82 of these, boys don't worry. And he's like, oh man, he just just turned,
Starting point is 00:53:26 flipped his whole mood and it just played better the whole season almost from that point on. But that's what you need, like guys like that just understood and that was probably what he needed at that time.
Starting point is 00:53:38 And it's not a big speech or anything. It's like, hey, don't even think twice about it. Let's play cards. Like having that type of demeanor around would help. I wish I had that.
Starting point is 00:53:50 I just never had that when I played. I was two. Thank God, boss. Yeah. No kidding. Oh, my God. Ands again. And those three draftics and roads.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Well, they're actually good. You were that guy. That's the thing. Glue guy. You were the guy that made guys around you feel good. I was a glue guy. Yeah. I was,
Starting point is 00:54:07 you know what? I was a guy who was so good at everything that came with hockey. The playing part of guys. so much but everything that came with hockey man i was good at it like really good that that's if there was a hockey hall of fame for everything outside of playing i might have made it first ballot never mine made it first ballot you're on the committee yeah named after you the building yeah i guess i did take a look uh love boat ended in 1984 geez like ended its 10 year run in 84 and we thought we'd play you out with, of course,
Starting point is 00:54:49 the, uh, a little loveboat theme because who doesn't like it? You're like this? Oh, but. Exciting.
Starting point is 00:55:05 And you come aboard. It's expected you. It floats back. Next week, we're going to talk about Fantasy Island. It's different than Robeda Island. Yeah, exactly. All right, guys. I appreciate you, pal.
Starting point is 00:55:44 There he is. Jamie McClennan. You just never, you never know where it's. Oh, didn't. Loat boat and a goalie drills. Golly seminar. Who knew? That is.
Starting point is 00:55:55 That is. Yeah. That's why you come here. The insider hotline of presentation of Crystal Waters, the crystal clear choice for you. In terms of your home comfort, 403, 219, 4,400, check them out online, crystal clear, Calgary.com, and barn burner, folk, new hot water heater, AC, or furnace, you will receive discounts and upgrades up to $1,000 in value. Something goes sideways.
Starting point is 00:56:18 You got a guy, Crystal Waters, Crystal Clear choice for your plumbing and heating. He is that guy, though. Oh, 100%. Yeah. No, Thornton is that guy. And it does, it's not hard to figure out. Like, you go for one beer with noodles, and you're like, oh, this is the guy. the guy.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Knows everyone, connected to everyone, knows exactly, oh, you're in this city, go here, do that, like just perfect. First practice.
Starting point is 00:56:40 First practice. First practice. First, summer skate in Calgary. You knew right away. Do you remember it or just? I just remember him coming up. Okay,
Starting point is 00:56:49 we're doing this after practice. We'll see you there. It was like, yeah. This guy's going to be an asset. Yeah. And probably, I mean,
Starting point is 00:57:00 it's not like he was a, he was a good goalie. He was in the national. a hockey league. He was an average goaler that knew what he had to do to me. Yeah. So I would say like the 50th to the 100th goalie in the world might all be the same. And you're vying for the last 10 backup jobs in the NHL. It's the guys that can fit in and be teammates that get those jobs. I can tell you this, he would battle. And because you knew him and you liked him and he battled, he won hockey games because the rest of the team said we're going to win a game. Totally. Yeah. Whereas if it's some. I remember a game against Colorado.
Starting point is 00:57:28 0,03, before Christmas, Darrell came in and ripped us, and Noodles was in. He said, this is what you, all he said to the room was, this is how you battle for your buddy? Yeah. And walked out. All he needed to say.
Starting point is 00:57:44 Well, that's right. Let's go. Yeah. Win. And with him, it's genuine. I'm sure there's a lot of backup goalies that get that. And they try and, hey, fellows, how are we doing? But how does just him?
Starting point is 00:57:58 Who doesn't like? Yeah. And can you imagine a guy similar skill set? It's like, why am I not getting more starts? Why is the coach like, you get out of here? Get out of here. Like where's our real number two? Loves to laugh.
Starting point is 00:58:10 So good. That's good. So there you go. It's one of my favorite times of the week. Upday. One of my favorite times of the week is when we get Jamie on board. So game tonight. I mean, I said off the time,
Starting point is 00:58:25 I must win it. I like to win this. one going back to Ottawa you did not play well this five points on the four game road trip teams that aren't strong yeah you got four of the bottom six teams in the east and you got a back to back to close it out and if you don't get points tonight it's going to be hard to get that five points with the pressure got be a lot pressure to get to five it's going to be pretty tricky i think and look you you've got a team that's loose and feeling good in columbus on what will be an emotional matinee game godrose will be there and then you got to play the
Starting point is 00:58:58 the next day against, you know, whatever the hell Pittsburgh's playing for. It's probably either max desperation or the checked out, but either way, you're on a back-to-back. I just realized. I'm going to have the loveboat theme in my head all frigging day now. Whose fault is that? It's mine. Yes, that's right. No, it's Jamie's.
Starting point is 00:59:16 He brought it up first. I mean, what are we supposed to not play the love boat theme after Jamie brings up the love boat? It wasn't in your head until you decided to play it. Julie McCoy, was that correct? Like Jay, I think Jack played it. Maybe Jack's fault. Jack, come up. way to go jack i had to do some
Starting point is 00:59:33 a lot of research to figure out what the loveboat theme was i had to text a couple people i think i got it was the right one right that's the one yeah yeah it may get us flag but i mean if they're going to flag us for a go ahead weekly show i'm willing to do it it's worth it that one the 80s well you can keep your 70 cents today you're gonna play that song what i ended in 84 or 86 yeah is your copyright back then this guy, I remember my parents watching the love boat.
Starting point is 01:00:02 Big show. Yeah. Great show. It was a big show, Jack. You should watch it. Yeah. Because it splurge. You'd really enjoy it.
Starting point is 01:00:09 One of these cold winter weekends when you're at the ski chalet. Because the love boat was, it was a cruise for lovers. Lovers, they would go away to iron out all their problems. Yeah. On the cruise. So then these people, that's the people who are working, you had what, Captain Stubing was the, the,
Starting point is 01:00:27 uh, one of the main characters. So you'd say, all the frolicing that would take place on, on the ship. Really? Mm-hmm. A lot of 80s.
Starting point is 01:00:37 Yeah. A lot of. Wink. Mm-hmm. They're talking about fucking. So I want to, yeah. Can't say that in 84.
Starting point is 01:00:46 That's what should get us flog. That's really what should get us flagged. It won't. Sadly. It'll be some hokey. Spoiler alert kids. They're talking about fucking. Hearing loss.
Starting point is 01:01:00 clinic. I hope you didn't hear that. Sake way. When are we, can we pick a day? What, let's just do it right now. What day of the week's good?
Starting point is 01:01:09 That's pressure. Well, he's asking us if there's a day that works better. And I, so while Thursdays aren't good and Tuesdays aren't great and damn Friday. I don't do anything on Fridays because it's Friday or Friday. Mondays, it's too much. How much can you heap on somebody on a Monday?
Starting point is 01:01:28 I will have to. Can't do it on the weekend, of course, because we'll meet a, but we'll meet a, We'll meet and discuss. So anyway, hearing loss clinic, it's not that hard. It's hard for us because we're losers. You have normal lives. Get an appointment.
Starting point is 01:01:41 Schedule yourself in for an assessment. Hearingloss.ca is the website. Follow them on social media, Instagram, and X. They do a lot for communities and deservedly so. They get a lot of respect and a lot of awards and all that come back. Accolades, Dean. Yeah. People of all ages can suffer from hearing loss.
Starting point is 01:02:01 I would suggest that if you haven't taken your kid for a hearing assessment, it would be a great idea to do. Especially if the teacher's like, he's always hearing everything in class. And well, is it, what is he having a hard time reading? What's the wrong? Stop with the strap and take him for. Well, I don't think you're strapping, but for sure, it's well, if they're picking up 80%, 75%, 60% of what's being laid out in the classroom, it can be tough, man, as well. and we've talked about it. Health risks like dementia,
Starting point is 01:02:32 depression, and others have been linked to untreated hearing loss. It's your brain while it's working and chugging away to try and hear everything. It's not taking care of other things that need to be taken care of. That's pretty much dumbed down, but that's what you're talking about.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Five hearing loss locations in Calgary. The new Chinook location is open at the corner of McLeod and Glenmore. Five locations in BC, Cranbrook, Crest and Fernie, Golden, and Invermere. Helping you hear better is simply their way of helping you live better. Book an assessment, hearingloss.ca.
Starting point is 01:02:59 Can we do the thing with the mouth? on the knee to see if the reflexes work, they check your eyes. Yeah, yeah. It's part of the routine. That's not part of the assessment. No, no, I know that. You get everything else checked on your kids. Turn it off.
Starting point is 01:03:10 What? My ears. I see he really can't hear. I think he. Trouble. I'll go whenever. I'm, I'm easy to get.
Starting point is 01:03:25 Tuesday or Wednesdays are committed? Tuesdays or Wednesdays? Those are the best days. Okay. Ricken down. There we go. Check. So they don't use the strap anymore.
Starting point is 01:03:39 I haven't seen it at school. They must be hiding it real well. Did you ever get the strap at school? I got thrown against the wall. That's not a strap, but I soaked out. I got the old lift up. Wow.
Starting point is 01:03:52 Yeah, I got the old lift up and up against the wall. Digging in a way. Ooh. Did that teacher have your attention for a while after that? Yeah, might have worked. Was she into that? I learned silent, I learned silent night after that.
Starting point is 01:04:05 I wonder he still sings that he's mentally scarred trauma. Yeah, it's like a Pavlovian thing. It's silent night. Wait, it wasn't silent night. It was that the night before Christmas went all through the house. Okay. So what led from that to the choking? Well, we were doing the Christmas play.
Starting point is 01:04:26 Yeah. And I didn't know. My memorization of the rhyme or story was not sufficient. Just a guess. Could there have been more to it? Probably. That's not knowing the lines the night before Christmas. Feels aggressive to start choking a kid out because they don't, you know, all stirring,
Starting point is 01:04:48 not even a mouse. They used to strap them too. Yeah, I guess so. I guess so. Uh, lots of games tonight. 15 or says who. Founders day? Well, Pitt, no, that was yesterday.
Starting point is 01:05:01 Oh, yeah, that was yesterday. So tomorrow, big football day. They don't want to run up against that. They're smart. they know there's no football today and there's only one football game on Friday. You hear that? Compliments. Are there games tomorrow? So no games?
Starting point is 01:05:14 Very slight slate. I'd suggest maybe one or two, if any, at all. I know, I think... You don't even know. I'll look. No, it's okay. It's all right. Yeah. I know that if you're playing 15 tonight, it's going to be a light slight tomorrow. You don't want a lot of teams on back. Now, you said there's two teams not playing? Correct.
Starting point is 01:05:31 So 15, 30. And I... 15 games? So I, in the pre-show, I said, let's roll through the teams until we find the ones. Do we know who's not playing tonight? Anyone here? Someone's going to need to know.
Starting point is 01:05:44 Otherwise, you're just going to be curse listing cities. Montreal, Hartford. It's tough. There's only two. So I would think one. Edmonton? I was split tonight? Jack's going to look to this up.
Starting point is 01:05:56 And Vancouver. Or I can insert myself and look at the sky. Yeah, sure. That's fine. So my thought is there's four teams to play last night. At best odds of a good team not playing tonight, it would be one of those four. So Utah, Utah, Montreal.
Starting point is 01:06:10 Utah, Montreal. I'm going to Edmonton, Montreal. Edmonton, Utah. I've got the schedule. I'm going to Edmonton, Utah. Edmonton is one of the teams. They do not play tonight. They do not play tonight.
Starting point is 01:06:21 Utah? Utah's the other team. There go. That was easy. Time for the Pinda report. No games tomorrow, by the way. I didn't think there is. See no games.
Starting point is 01:06:31 Thanksgiving. But I'll tell you what. Practice sucks. Oh, in the States it would. Yeah. I don't know what in Ottawa. All I remember was this blueberry cereal had in my house and I had to get something in my belly. Did you see it again?
Starting point is 01:06:47 Still blue in the toilet, hey. You're driving, right? Yeah, yeah. I've told this story when I was on that, the one Flames trip and going through Pittsburgh and Philly and that. So it's Thanksgiving day, noon practice or whatever for the flames at the Wells Fargo Center. staff staff are not pumped really are you wise guys need a practice today i don't you know it's a holiday thanksgiving hey i get but it's not for you i guess so it's a big important practice today need to yeah okay great yeah i come on they were some surly which i get i guess i got to get that would
Starting point is 01:07:28 be you if you were that guy who was the coach ignorant do you know who would it have been then Sutter? Might have been Brent. Yeah, might have been preheartedly for sure. Yeah. Anywho. Anywho. I love Thanksgiving. Yeah. We should actually have we should do the American Thanksgiving style where we should just get at her today. Take a holiday and tomorrow. We're off Thursday Friday. Are we on? Jack, can we boss? Can we have the tomorrow? I still remember that blueberry crisp cereal. It was all I could do to get to the ring. I've never thought about. not. That was as bad as you ever been.
Starting point is 01:08:05 I was actually at the point where I'm like, I'll probably lose a day or two's pay and I'm going to be in big shit. So to understand the context and the magnitude and the power of that comment, that would be like to hear Yusain Bolting, I think that's the fastest I ever ran. To say that that was the most hungover, this man's ever been, that is a statement.
Starting point is 01:08:26 That is as hard as I've gone. Bart Holter was in town. Bart, bad news. You're listening to Tori. just kidding. Crown Royal. Chugging. Brown liquor.
Starting point is 01:08:37 Brown liquor. I saw the photo you were in the brown liquor on the weekend. Click click click click click click click click that. The meteorologist forecasted that. You did? Yeah, it was like, I can see the weather. Brown liquor coming soon. They're rarely wrong.
Starting point is 01:08:52 Leave the shovel by the front door and get those winter tires on and get ready for the brown liquor. It's up the brown liquor going on the weekend. The whiskers ask and you were going to do the kitchen show. Um, we're undecided. It's a lot of know. It's tomorrow. It's 24 hours away. We don't have any supplies.
Starting point is 01:09:12 We have no plans. I mean, I mean, that can happen, but, uh, Jack and Pinder have other things they have to do. We have a two o'clock show. We could easily do the,
Starting point is 01:09:20 the kitchen show and then depart somewhere, um, one. So it only be one game. It seems like a lot of effort for, seems like a lot of effort for, you know. If we did a late show. The late show. You could get drunk today.
Starting point is 01:09:37 i got a thing i well yeah i'm not saying doing the show and get drunk get drunk today sleep in then do this yeah yeah but then he's still got to do the thing and i got a thing i got to do you got a thing i got to get someone from the air after bernett tonight see it's not i mean it's so busy jack so busy conditions do not seem favorable for a kitchen show tomorrow yeah oh well it's a good idea time for the pin of idea guys that's where we are bring a dog to work day oh that'd be great I'm into who had the dog at downtown that used to bring the dog in Jay yeah God didn't do it all the time but oh until yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah HR and yeah it actually wasn't him it was that up
Starting point is 01:10:26 but he what was remember the person came in I do yeah yeah yeah sure reminder from now until the end of the month our good friends at village Honda are collecting non-perishable food items to fill a Honda in the showroom, stop by, drop it off. Village will deliver all of it to the Veterans Food Bank of Alberta. We're getting into that for right or for wrong. We're in that part of the year, the season, where just giving back is more in the front of our mind. And if this is one of those things, you want to give back,
Starting point is 01:11:02 you want to help out, it's the easiest way to do it. Grab some non-perishable stuff, drop it off at Village Honda, and they will take care of the rest for the good folks, the ladies and gentlemen with the Veteran Food Bank of Alberta. time for the end. Ryan Pinda. Ryan Pindle. Ryan Pindle.
Starting point is 01:11:17 Enter a bar. Thank you, buddies. Flames game day. Let's go. Buckets on, Dino, you didn't say it. You've alluded to it. Can we please get an official? Get your helmet on.
Starting point is 01:11:27 Thank you. There's Nazim. He's got his helmet on there. It is Detroit tonight. It is the Wings. Looking, the athletic posted a piece at the quarter pole projecting all the annual awards. The trophies are given,
Starting point is 01:11:41 given out for individual achievement. Guess who was number one in their Calder rankings. Dustin Wolf. Just as our boy noodles 15 minutes ago. Get your hand out of the. No. And noodles said maybe Celebrini could chase our boy. Like everyone likes welfare fellas.
Starting point is 01:12:02 We all got in at 20 to one, right? I bet, but if Celebrini's healthy. He's healthy right now. He wasn't earlier. He's looked very good. Because you know how that'll go? All those dummies in the east. Oh, I got to get my.
Starting point is 01:12:15 Calder thing in. Where's the stats? The beauty is that Celebrini plays in the West too. But still, he'll just go to the stats. Oh, Celebrini's got a lot of points. He's right. Look at this. He's on top 20 scoring in and he wouldn't even think should I check the goalies or oh, Celebrini. Yeah, that's really good. Now the Franks made everyone publish their
Starting point is 01:12:31 ballot. I hope we get a little more work than that put in, but part of me wonders if that's the case or not. How much work. Standing's in, actually here, Flames Nation, here's what we're talking about today. There's a little screenshot of what's going on on the web. Huska Blames penalties for lost to centers. all of these people.
Starting point is 01:12:46 There was a name yesterday. Flash. Flash. There's Mike Gould. Oh, golly. Yeah. Worthline has been real good. Not in Ottawa,
Starting point is 01:12:56 but has been very good almost all year. I wonder if we see a change in the lineup. We were expecting Dan Vladarinette. Do we see a third consecutive game for Joel Hanley? He's not done that yet this year. I believe Joe Hanley. Handley's hand is not good. Hanley's wrist, Hamley's hand.
Starting point is 01:13:13 You don't want to risk his risk. or in the palm Ouch Palm Bay West Dannings oh delicious here we are flames three points
Starting point is 01:13:23 out of top spot in the Pacific I feel like they'd be too sweet yeah they're pretty sweet you know what lots of ice one or two early
Starting point is 01:13:29 that's a liquor season yeah it is yeah you gotta be I'm thinking of like an all inclusive for Palm Bay I looked at all inclusives tomorrow sorry keep going Ryan back to do
Starting point is 01:13:37 yeah oh are we going are road trip I don't know why we're going yeah tell the shovel does it stay out with home with the kids for hockey tournament so three of us ago. I'm not sure I'd invite the shoveler, but if I'm not, I'm sure as F not inviting you.
Starting point is 01:13:51 No, I was going to say it's this is not a team thing. It's a, right. It's a non-pinder event. I got it. It's to get that a lot. Okay. Second in the division. You're on the list.
Starting point is 01:14:02 Just so like inverse standings. You're doing awesome. Here is the three points from the top. Three points from being out. That's where they sit right now heading into Detroit. It's the second of a four game road trip. they got a huge swath of home games once they get back, but they're not there yet, three more to go.
Starting point is 01:14:19 Who do they play tonight? Well, we know it's the Detroit Red Wings. Let's look at the eastern standings. Look at the bottom of the East standings. That's kind of the road trip they're on in a sense that, okay, they just played Ottawa. They're third from the bottom. They play Detroit tonight.
Starting point is 01:14:31 There's seven from the bottom. They play Columbus on Friday. They're six from the bottom. And then they wrap it up in Pittsburgh. They're second from the bottom, but actually the worst because look at the games played. It would be a good road trip to not fall on your face because that would hurt the momentum this team has.
Starting point is 01:14:43 These are some of the worst hockey. clubs in the NHL. 0 for one start. We'll see if they rate the ship tonight. Yeah, don't ask your pants at all. Lines and pairs, we glanced at them earlier. Let's take another glance right now. Dylan Larkin up top, 28, turns 29 next summer.
Starting point is 01:14:59 Ledmear Teresanko's 200. Lucas Raymond younger than both of them. And then you got De Brinket, Comfer, they brought in from Colorado and free agency, Tyler Mott. He's been around. How much about this Marco Casper? Is he an interesting young player? They could use some interesting young players.
Starting point is 01:15:14 Jonathan Bergren as well. And then, yeah, they're missing Evander, excuse me, Patrick Kane in the forward ranks. He's hurt. In fairness, Evander's not playing either. He also is injured, that's correct. Just not a wing at this juncture. Maybe he is later.
Starting point is 01:15:26 Cider and Edvinson, the top pair. They got cider away from Chirot. Hopefully that helps. Chirot's been brutal. Petrie's not been good. Justin Hull still, not good. Those three brutal underlying numbers, not surprising. Goalies, Talbot, and Lion, they're not anymore.
Starting point is 01:15:40 Lion tweaks something in practice today. So Huso will likely. back up Talbot. And yeah, there's the news of the day. Thank you, Daniela. That's it looks like a shimmery top. Is that silk satin? What are we looking at? She's at the ballpark. She's at the ballpark, but she's covering the wings. Also noting that Patrick Kane will not play tonight. That gets us up to speed on Zivings. He should go to Germany. Kane? Yeah. That's what all those Americans are doing.
Starting point is 01:16:10 Is he doing what Matthews is doing? That's what we're suggesting. And then he's going to Germany when early he's flying to Turkey to get new hair done. That could do that too. I'm teasing. I think it sounds like Matthews could be back by the weekend, but not tonight. With his new hair? We'll see if it is. With the Leafs and Panthers playing tonight.
Starting point is 01:16:28 Wow, you're rude. I'm just teasing. You know, I'm just kidding. Last night, two games. That's why we're not getting a lot of viewership in Toronto. Happy Founders Day to you all. The Canucks did get a goal from Jake DeBras. Bam, we're on a heater on the Bet365 bets.
Starting point is 01:16:43 And the Utah's in overtime over the oldest team. Everybody's a winner. Yeah. I mean, the two non-young and founders. The other halves are so old. They're the oldest team ever. And these Utahs are so young. Same with the brunt.
Starting point is 01:16:55 So old. They lose too. And around forever. Oldies. Taking it on the cheek. Penguins look right. You took a lot of heat yesterday. I did.
Starting point is 01:17:04 Remember, you know, it's Mario. Because I couldn't cover Mario and Crosby. And so here's the thing. You know, we had a little gaffa, but we love you. And people did come to your defense.
Starting point is 01:17:13 So it no one showed. It was one nothing on the little scorebug there. If you look in the top left corner. How did it finish, though? Like who won this? See, look at that. Four seconds left, Blames Street, too. Put her there.
Starting point is 01:17:26 Who's on the jumbo? Yeah, who's there when it matters? Dreyfus. Who was 22? Penalty. 22. Mike's? Hey, man, like that.
Starting point is 01:17:35 That makes sense. Conroy? Could be Connie too. Connie then, right? It was 24 for a bit, but it's mostly 22. Was that the Higloo? Is that the new? Because Crosby was
Starting point is 01:17:45 Early Crosby would have been the Eglis. Because it saved them for Bangorcy and they got the new Rink belt. But I played. Do you ever play that? Let's go back and look at that picture again. You should play it the new one? That looks very.
Starting point is 01:17:56 There'll be some side of somewhere. Oldie time. I don't know if I played in the new. It's either a horrible camera or it's the igloo. Yeah, that's the EGUMS. UPSs. I played at that. APC.
Starting point is 01:18:07 Lost two years. So was that the EGlu is the UPMC? Or no? No. Well, that's just the jumbo, Trott. It doesn't mean that's the name. No, no, I know. I was looking for some sort of,
Starting point is 01:18:18 that's what they do with the new buildings. They actually have, that's got to be the eagle. It's got to the egg go. It's on. Definitely. It's not even close. It's a great.
Starting point is 01:18:26 Dry air and the ecloth. Was it? Right. People like that clip, though, that we ran because we put it on Instagram and all the socials. And look at, look at this guy. The comments, just loving this stuff. I'm so happy, right.
Starting point is 01:18:35 Don't play for the flames anymore. Don't get me wrong. You go coast to coast to coast around for any other team. after 4672. You know what? Your response? Modern day drifter. Modern day duster.
Starting point is 01:18:48 Get out of here. I'm with you, Red. Yeah, you're right. You shouldn't have me on the team where we made the playoffs
Starting point is 01:18:54 every year. The miracle, what a greatest year ever. Modern day drifter 4672. Get me out of there. Get me out of it. It's a world of success and so I left.
Starting point is 01:19:06 It's true. MDD. Connie. 42. 56 modern day drifter uh let's go to this late tonight 15 games i'm told that's a lot jack that's called trolling no oilers no use i'm not on the socious you aren't it's good thing you're he's laughing over there i know right thinks it's hilarious all he does is that's a look at comments all that he loves it when you acknowledge a comment that's good big slight fellas a lot of good games
Starting point is 01:19:33 in there's a lot of good ones so there's it so this is you want to walk us through your parlay ticket Oh, wait, I got to find it. Or did you hit all of them or did you still miss one? I must have f-ed-up. Okay, well, 14's enough, isn't it? Yeah, that's tons. That's enough legs to make it profitable. Top of the board, walk your way through who you got.
Starting point is 01:19:52 Top of the table, Tommy? I got a look. I can't remember. That's what I'm saying. Look at them. Okay, wild, yeah. Cain's money line. Cain's money, line. Devils money line.
Starting point is 01:20:02 Brooms money line. Flames money line. Columbus Money line. Petsburg money line. Caps. You can just go team. Flyers Stars
Starting point is 01:20:13 Crackin Knights Jets Sends All right There it is folks So 15 legger if you need it Or 14
Starting point is 01:20:24 Yeah who did we missing there Is it the Columbus Montreal Vancouver Pittsburgh you didn't pick did you No Is it the flyers Wild Cains devils bruns Bruins flames
Starting point is 01:20:36 Jackets penguins Capitals Flyers stars Cracken, Knights, Jets, Sends. I think it's the Montreal Columbus, but unless I missed it. No, I did not Columbus. Jeez, okay. Sorry, guys. I had attention.
Starting point is 01:20:49 I love this. Did you do capital? Seattle, Anaheim, I missed. Florida or. You said Cracken. You said Crackin. I said cracking. Yes.
Starting point is 01:20:57 God. This is my favorite part of the show. Stars Hawks. You had stars? Yeah, he got stars. Was it Toronto, Florida? Oh, I don't have Toronto, Florida. Oh.
Starting point is 01:21:06 Maybe the hardest one. Hardest one. You might have been lucky. Good for you, Red. It's a winner. That's a winner. That's a winner. What was it?
Starting point is 01:21:17 $10? Pace 35 grand. Yes. Oh, man. State tomorrow. All inclusive. Here we come. Hey, right?
Starting point is 01:21:24 Hey. Hey. Hey, buddies going on an all inclusive. Yeah. Sausage party. Woo-hoo. Rets pay it. Last night's action had Rett's attention.
Starting point is 01:21:34 Not the NHL, not the NBA. I love. Not ESPN8. The Ocho's. Cornhole tournament. The CHL against the U.S. National Development Team program was not close. Fellas. It was six, one, shalacking of the Americans by the hands of the CHLers.
Starting point is 01:21:50 Shots almost two to one. Powerpoint looked good. And your boy, Matthew Schaefer, goal and assist from the blue line. It was not close. The CHLers smack the snout out of that NTV. Sixth rip at one point. I'm going to call the director of that U.S. Tell me your kids not coming?
Starting point is 01:22:05 What the F are we doing? They play again tonight. You know what? Come on, Rod. I bet he would appreciate that today. Yeah, you know what? He probably hasn't had any feedback about the game or how it went. It reminds me when Bo Levi-Mitchell had the interception late in the Grey Cup,
Starting point is 01:22:20 the Cost of the Great Cup. Yeah. Rett was there to reach out when everyone else was like, I probably just to leave it alone for a bit. Right, was like, no, no, I'm here to help. Stop going for the fame. Yeah, just to let.
Starting point is 01:22:27 Oh, no. For the headlines. Stop off the headlines. It's a terrible throw. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. It was a low percentage.
Starting point is 01:22:35 I know. Unnecessary. Our way. He says, lob it up there. We could have had a parade. We, says the rider fan. There would have been a parade and Bo Levi wanted to show off. Did you notice it was like announced he was going to Hamilton and within three seconds it was like,
Starting point is 01:22:53 Bolivai Mitchell has left the fantasy football league. Oh, okay. I see it working. He never liked this anyway. No, he's a good boy. He's a good boy. Thanksgiving football. We got it tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:23:02 I knew how to delete. I would have deleted. Yeah, that's a tough one. I don't know they had delete back then. Yeah, it was a while ago. What are you doing to get ready? Well, here, let's take a look. This guy looks like an expert at us Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 01:23:12 Yeah. Well, hello, buddy. I'm out some of my homemade stuffing. That's right, buddy. It's Thanksgiving. On Thursday, my Detroit Lions take on the Chicago Bears at 1230 on CBS. Please, feel free to try this recipe out. Unless you're a Chicago bear, then I wouldn't plan on stuff in anything.
Starting point is 01:23:40 for you're up to this Thanksgiving. I hope you enjoy yourself that. Cheers. Oh, boy, you should have been a lion's fit. So is that the same guy? Because he does a bunch of those. That's the first I see you again. Hey, buddy.
Starting point is 01:24:11 Hey, buddy. And he'll just do random stuff, but that's, that's, A dog was happy with the scent in the room. Yeah, you get the old. He's ready for some of that stuffing. We got to do a kitchen show tomorrow. Come on. Cookie show.
Starting point is 01:24:24 Why don't you, yeah, we'll come over and you cook and make a to-go package for everyone. Well, I'll eat and then I have to go because I got to go home and sit on my couch after. I got to watch Americans. I give you the time you got to go. Yeah. The game's on at 10, whatever. Go home for the second game.
Starting point is 01:24:41 If anything, we start to show early tomorrow. Yeah, there we are. So we're home and done. We're going to be drunk today. How do we get up early? I don't know. You are. Are we getting drunk today?
Starting point is 01:24:52 Oh, I'm not. It's American Thanksgiving. We have to. I got a slight pinder thing today. I got a lunch and then I got a massage. Yeah, drunk and massage with the win. Bad planet. Danny Dimes has a new home, boys.
Starting point is 01:25:08 Danny Dimes. I want him to flourish. I do too. I want it to sting just like Sequin leaving. The Sequin thing is awesome. It's so good. Screw the Giants. So now if either he or Seekwant, go win a Super Bowl.
Starting point is 01:25:24 I do feel sorry for one human there. Malik neighbors. Everyone else, screw you. He's a kid. He's got a lot. He's got his whole life in front of him. I feel bad for that John Mara, who's, I'm going to have a hard time sleeping if Sequin goes to Philadelphia.
Starting point is 01:25:36 I decide he's our, he's our best player and he's our fan favorite. I'm just going to have a really hard time. I'm going to fill it then. Sign him. Nope, didn't. Interestingly, the Minnesota Vikings where Danny Dimes is going are the team that has resurrected Sam Darnold, who was kind of in Danny Dimes territory before he arrived in Minnesota.
Starting point is 01:25:56 New York? No, like not good. Like, good at quarterback, bad a quarterback, bad or big quarterback. Who was their back? I mean, stupid question. Do we know who Minnesota's? Well, J.J. McCarthy's there, but he's hurt.
Starting point is 01:26:10 So he's missing the whole year. They drafted him in the first round. He'll be back next year. And I don't know. They had last year, they had the pastronaut, I think. But he's in San Fran this year. Astronaut. Remember him?
Starting point is 01:26:21 Oh, yeah. I had him on my team. He got me a big win. Yeah, I picked him up right after that. Nick Mullins. Nick Mullins. 49er. They swapped backups. I don't feel bad for him.
Starting point is 01:26:30 He's made a lot of money to do F all. He's held a clipboard and made millions. That's a hell of a game. Now, Thanksgiving, we noted that there's some pointers. Let's go to some thanks even pointers from our pal that wish boom a happy birthday. What's he got for us? Oh, I love running backs, especially running backs that switched teams and play better for their new team than they did with their old team. Guys like Sequin, Barclay of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Starting point is 01:26:54 Did you see that performance? 26 carries 265 yards. You better hope you're not next. Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers, three touchdown. Got me. 26 carries 106 yard. Did you see that spin move against that 49 or free safety? Pretty good.
Starting point is 01:27:19 Yeah. Let's keep moving. It's good that you and him are staying in touch. Well, you know, old friends, right? I've been talking to finder. My old buddy pinder. I'm here on Bunce. That's what I'm here in Bunce.
Starting point is 01:27:30 Your wife goes to Taylor Swift. Your beautiful wife. Why don't you? Welcome to Calgary, Vernon Adams Jr. That's what the graphic says from the Calgary Stampeders. It's a big ad for the club. It's kind of blurry, hard to read.
Starting point is 01:27:41 Are you sure? That's what it says. Vernon, because the guy's standing in front of us. Why did they make it all fuzzy? I think it was AI. They're probably just saving money. It's Vernon something. It's definitely run out.
Starting point is 01:27:50 Here's the deal. If you missed it, there was all kinds of picks. We tried to do it live yesterday. It's way too confusing. So it's Vernon. Fuzzy. with two picks for three different picks going the other way two of them being second rounders to bc it's big ad they got rort coming back from the NFL this year and so VA was expendable pretty darn good quarterback big play VA they call welcome to look at you talking with the lingo like you big play VA fucking know what's going on you've ripped the CFL and then this happened oh VA you know I had a pretty good year oh yeah we got the baller yeah they didn't scrub the bracket this year cans are too hot yeah now they got rid of
Starting point is 01:28:26 Who? Jake Meyer. Now, did you guys see the cow equipment coach? Who did take unnecessary cheap shots at Jake Mayer? Like, we didn't talk about the CFO. They weren't even saying his name right. And then you were just shi-dogne crushing. I treated him like I would treat Danny Dimes or any other professional quarterback.
Starting point is 01:28:43 Jake Myers is an asshole. That's mayor. And I just haven't seen anybody picks. You might want to try to throw more touchdowns in a social. We don't talk about the CFL ever. And then you would bring him up just to take shots. You know what? In another city,
Starting point is 01:28:56 be okay not here the legacy with quarterbacks is too rich can't be dealing with that kind of crap we just talked about bow and his oh was great oh what a championship both had some great quarterback play was going to the hall fame jake mary going to the hall fame you are such a cheap shot like artist yes but we're okay to crush dandy dimes right just so we're clear i never what did i say about dandy dimes i've never said a word about dany dimes i just mean like you know an NFL guy you're happy to unload on him james just take it and move on let's move on let's move Cal equipment coach, Mega Stud. Donald, did you see this?
Starting point is 01:29:29 Yes. So they win the game. Watch, there's a nice video of the highlights, everything. There's a fan that's going to try to steal a helmet. I was there. Remember when they won? I think fans are on the field. It's a big W.
Starting point is 01:29:40 Let's watch here. There's your coach. He's like, I see. Oh, the QC's gone. You son of, get back here. Look at the 40 time here. This is incredible. Bang!
Starting point is 01:29:53 Get out of here. Whoa. Oh, wow. Lost his hat. So this is, again, watch the kid hiding. Sneaky, gone. Got a helmet. Not on my watch, bud.
Starting point is 01:30:03 So this was not missed by the Cal coaching staff. Let's go post game to their head coach. A critique I would have is when we teach tackling on a chase tackle is we really want to come and secure the tackle and then come over the top, you know, violently to separate the runner from the ball or in this case the helmet. other than that, flawless technique by Trevor is his name. And I really appreciate the effort. He was enforcing one of the beliefs we have as a program, which is don't steal things. And I think we'd all be a lot better off with more Trevor's out there. So we appreciate his effort.
Starting point is 01:30:46 And again, just next time, we'd like to see the big right hand chopping down like we would on a chase tackle. But other than that, it was flawless. I love how Stone Cold he does that. The whole thing is very deadpan. It's very good. And so here's the thing. We see it on socials. Coach recognizes it.
Starting point is 01:31:02 But the players, they're all celebrating with the fans. They didn't see it. Oh, hang on. They ran the film at practice the next day. There's Trevor. My boy, Trev. The whole team's in the room.
Starting point is 01:31:13 We have video breakdown. They look at a tape. And so they've heard about it. Now they get to see it. Watching the exact video we watch. Look at the fellas. There it goes. to dump shit the things of team together.
Starting point is 01:31:45 Yeah. That's awesome. No fame, no glory. Final against one. Love to see it. I bet you're trying. Woo! Boys love.
Starting point is 01:31:59 Makes me happy. That's a team right there. Now this is kind of funny. So Champions League, you're familiar with it? It's like all the top teams from different leagues in Europe. They play each other in soccer. Soccer. So yesterday, Barcelona played
Starting point is 01:32:13 Breast. Now, Breast plays in France. Barcelona. Barcelona. And so this was in Barcelona. And so Breast is a French team. Now, we go to the CBC soccer, CBS soccer network in the U.S.
Starting point is 01:32:27 where apparently they've talked about Breast before and gotten some trouble, so we'll just run from here. I have no idea what you're talking about. Very good. Anyway, Breast was in trouble. Let's go to some dumb parkour from Rhett's kids. No, we can't. Come on now.
Starting point is 01:32:45 Let's rectify this. Because I'm interested in seeing how Breast is doing. It was very funny. I swore I said to Jack. Hang on. I'll play some music or something. You have some time-filling elevator music. One, go for a leak.
Starting point is 01:33:03 What? Putting it back in the top of said chat. Jack. What are you making your stuff? I'm going to do a sausage stuff. Really? Really. Meets him a stuffing.
Starting point is 01:33:23 Well, yeah. Now, are you going to use Because you've got the hog casings, and then you made sausage, are you then going to take it out of the pot? It feels like a waste. It's going to say. I've done that before. I bought some of that.
Starting point is 01:33:43 I'm very salty. Sometimes it's too salty. I don't want to do it. It's really kind of like you. Don't do it yourself. You want to have control over what? Well, I have a grinder. Yeah, you do.
Starting point is 01:33:57 You can make it a meat myself. Really? I'm going to start no more pre, not just going to take ground beef and make a burger. I'm going to start grinding my stuff. Okay, can we go back to the first ones so we can do the whole thing? Just start the bit fresh. Okay. So yesterday.
Starting point is 01:34:16 So I do love, I mean, sausages. Awesome. I want to try some of the sausage I mean? I would love that. Yeah, I'm going to bring it over tomorrow when we're, uh, bring some of the breakfast. All right. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:30 All right. So they've been cooked? Yeah. Good. Ryan. Back to you. Thanks, Dean. Champions League action yesterday. Bartholona hosting Breast, which...
Starting point is 01:34:40 Oh, oh, is it? Simply the breast? So I thought of Rhett because of his football team. Now, the fellows on the panel were having a little too much fun. They got a female host. She's put one in the penalty box for this segment because last time they talked about breast, it didn't go up. Jack, don't do this to me again.
Starting point is 01:34:56 I love this. I love this. This is so good. They're professional in these segments where we're talking about breast. So we would just, production would like to ask you, are you comfortable? We're just staying silent whilst we... Come on. I can do this.
Starting point is 01:35:08 Not a word, just silence, invisible. You can't trust me? No, we can't, please. Right. After four games, who here likes breast? Like breast. You do too? I like the shape of them.
Starting point is 01:35:21 Uh-huh. Yeah. He's got out of front two tonight? Yeah, two big, um, pair of front that are going to trouble. Just work off each other. Yeah. I'm interested, how much do you enjoy watching them? Would you pay to watch them?
Starting point is 01:35:37 I have to. One thing that you can say is you don't have to be big, you can be small and compete. That's interesting. Good. Do you think breast could get exposed tonight? I hope so. Do you think Barcelona could come a bit quickly for breast tonight? Oh, I think it might have crossed the line. You're trying to get me sex?
Starting point is 01:36:07 Anyway. You're all good on just a good sport. She's a good sport. She was a good sport. She was awesome. Very good. Worth it? Maybe not, but I did it anyway.
Starting point is 01:36:18 Three nil, Bartholona. Oh. So all that for nothing. Well, breath is a bit of a minnow relative to one of the world powers. Rett's kids still doing parkour. Let's check in. See what they got going on. Jump down a post again?
Starting point is 01:36:31 No, it's a different one here. It's a crazy sin. What do you do? He's a story up. Look at the, he's a story up. And he's got to get the pillar perfect. Yeah, he's feeling good. Let's get the journal and go.
Starting point is 01:36:56 Right. You like that. What's that game they play? Poker when they do the bull rider, do the bowl poker. Poker. In the bull ring with the bowl, different than regular poker.
Starting point is 01:37:06 This is even crazier. Look at this guy. That's a move. That's supposed to happen. Yeah, look at him. He's like, yeah, look at this. He sees him coming. Tease him up.
Starting point is 01:37:20 That is not. Got you. Cody Snyder bull busting. No. Cody would say don't touch your horns. That's disrespectful. That guy got a taste of it. Oh.
Starting point is 01:37:33 No, you guys love footy, so I got another soccer thing for you. You know, you try to keep the ball up. Like, even hockey players doing warm-up now. Kind of like hanky sackers. This guy's showing off of it, but he's doing it with wine glasses and wine. Alcoholic or footy player or both. I know. I like the breast bit better, but won't keep moving.
Starting point is 01:38:01 That's pretty good. though. Not impressive. Is that AI Dane or you did that? No, I think you did it. Yeah. Okay, good. Last one.
Starting point is 01:38:08 What do we got? Jack, let us know what we got. Arriva, right. Go ahead. Out of the way. I've seen that one. Yeah, there's some high walls,
Starting point is 01:38:19 but... All right. On Spain. Oh. What do you do now? You grab your grand sheet out there. Get out of here. You just start throwing rights.
Starting point is 01:38:28 Right this big bull snout. Oh, good day. I sent you that me chiflo, I'm here. Who's your new name? Faulted, seor. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:39 That's not a good spot to be right there. Look at the size of those horns. Goodness. That's a pinned report on a Wednesday, you know.
Starting point is 01:38:49 It was interesting. You did the soccer than a bowl, then soccer than a bowl. Yeah, maybe they would have. Ropa dope. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:56 It's all right, though. It's all right. It's his report. Tis. All right. Honda Ridge line. Convenience of an all-wheel drive pickup. It's
Starting point is 01:39:05 easy to park. It's great in this weather. I saw. Somebody's built right up front for this kind of weather. Car and driver magazine says the interior inside the Ridgeland, tops in its class in terms of practicality and comfort. And right now at Village Honda, the new 2025 Ridgeline black edition, $2,000 Honda bonus and qualified Honda owners get an additional $2,000 loyalty bonus. If you've not driven the Ridge line, you owe it to yourself to see just how, you know what, it's nimble, sturdy,
Starting point is 01:39:35 It's easy to park. Lots of clearance. You're not going to get hung up. Nope. Awesome. All that hockey gear in the back. Perfect. And in the truck bed,
Starting point is 01:39:46 Jack, you wouldn't know this. This is cool. There's the tailgate. Usually it does one of these, right? It also does it like a door. You can open the tailgate like this. And then truck bed. It's got a trunk in the truck bed.
Starting point is 01:40:03 It actually can be used as a cooler, I've been told. There's even a drain. There is a drain in there. See? You didn't know that, did you? I'm sure didn't, dude. You can, when you open your tailgate, then there's another lid that opens.
Starting point is 01:40:16 You can fit, I believe, some golf clubs. You can stick some golf clubs in there. Spare tire if you want to smuggling across no borders. Well, I think maybe they know about that. Yeah, it wouldn't be seen. I didn't. Yeah, you're not a customs agent. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:31 I don't think. Maybe it's not yet. Deep undercover. Yeah. It's a perfect stone. Christine. Pristine. No, it's flawless, unlike the dirty, dirty ones. You don't need to tell them that you get 60, 70, 80% savings on what the dirty dirty
Starting point is 01:42:59 is. That's our little secret, guys. We keep that between us. They don't need to know that. We're in the trust tree here. We're not going to tell them on you. Well, how much more is the perfect one then? Babe, it's not important.
Starting point is 01:43:08 Anything for you. I just knew that you deserve perfect. The perfect stone for the perfect person, guy or girl, whoever it is. It's a beautiful, Dean. Market Mall, vena nova.com is the website. And if you want to use what Dean just said, they're in your card. Yeah, that's a good one too. You're right, right?
Starting point is 01:43:30 You don't have copyrighted? You're okay sharing that with the books? I've dated some dirty, dirty people in the, the past, but now you're perfect. And you deserve perfect. I like the second half. Yeah. More than the first half.
Starting point is 01:43:43 Man, has there been a lot of dirty, dirty, dirty in my past? But now, glad I'm not dealing with, I'm not dealing with that anymore. I've got you, bed. You're perfect. I've got you, babe. I got you, babe. Easiest thing you can do, Phil. It's truly, we've done it.
Starting point is 01:44:03 We all speak from experience. If there's any sort of problem, it's that now the bar is so high. Yeah. That's the only issue you had is it was such a home run. Tough to beat it. You mentioned that. I hadn't thought about it. In a month from now, if there wasn't a Vena Nova thing under the tree, it's going to be,
Starting point is 01:44:19 so is, are you guys not, are they out of business? Or are a big chamois, but. Yeah. Yeah. I love the luf. Yeah. As much as I love this, these slippers, um, felt like they're, Did something fall out of the slippers?
Starting point is 01:44:38 Yeah. Where did it go? Should we not vacuum here? Give me a heads up. So carpool maybe after the show one day. I'll just go together. Get the food court, stop by, pick up something. I like that food court.
Starting point is 01:44:49 Yeah. Beananova.com. You're going to check out the food court? Here, planner. Let's do for bet 365. Take a look. See, we got football to talk about tomorrow and Friday. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:45:05 Black Friday game. We got a Flames game tonight. Was it Chiefs Raiders who said yesterday, Jack? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Feeling nicey. Bet 365. Proud partner, official gaming partner of Barn Burner and After Burner. It's the largest sports betting platform in Seaworld.
Starting point is 01:45:23 Open an account with Bet365 today. You're going to find everything in there that you're looking for. The app is awesome. Promocode Nation. Get a little extra love when you sign up. Whatever the moment, it's never ordinary at Bet, 365. 15 games. A lot to choose from.
Starting point is 01:45:41 Three games in a goal. Ye goal, Sharon Golvich, has been back. Slow start after their turn from injury. He looks like vintage Igor right now. A goal is plus 220. That don't feel right for a guy on a heater. And Connor's area, two games in a row is hit an assist. Plus 1.95.
Starting point is 01:45:55 We hit him at plus 205 yesterday, plus 215. Two days ago, excuse me. Still close to tripling your money. We're going to stay with Zeri on the assist train. Just keep rolling. Why not? Ye-Gol-Sheran-Golovich? I believe that's the Bel-Russian translation.
Starting point is 01:46:14 Three in a row. It's close to a shovel. Really? But it's too late. It's passed. I just wanted to clarify. We'll let it go. You can trick me into mentioning it again,
Starting point is 01:46:23 but I'm probably going to fall for it. What was it again? Ye-Gole Sharon Goldberg. I would love yours, Rat. What do you got? Is this the, did you do a parlay? Another 15-legged parlay? Oh, did you do it for tonight's hockey games?
Starting point is 01:46:41 Well, I just saw there were so many. Yeah. I'm interested to know. You know, a lot of guys said two game parlies last night. That's boring. Let's get to the real tonight. Minnesota, Carolina, Jersey, Bruins, flames, jackets, penguins, capitals, flyers, stars, cracking, nights, jets, cents, 10, 35.
Starting point is 01:47:07 What's that? 35 grand. Yeah. 10 bucks. Wow. And which all inclusive have you been eyeballing for us? Well, I haven't been able to afford Hawaii in a while. Well, you get an extra seat on the plane to Hawaii if we remember.
Starting point is 01:47:21 Up's the price. We don't need extra seats, Dean and I. We'll just take the inflation, Dean. On an extra seat because, you know, it's a long flight. That's all right. It's a flight back through. I've had both experience where I've paid for two to have the empty one. And then I've paid for two and gotten neither.
Starting point is 01:47:38 So it's what? drop it. Is that an airline thing or is that a Warner thing? Well, that led to that. The airline wouldn't allow me to, I paid for it. Yeah. But I wasn't allowed to have it. Because you can't just buy a seat and not have someone in it kind of thing.
Starting point is 01:47:58 But I'd already done that. Yeah. So I knew that it could. Who's names did put him there? Al Albertson. It's Bill Philberts. Hiatus. We want to know what you're thinking out there.
Starting point is 01:48:11 not all of what you're thinking. Not all of what you're thinking specifically about. I wouldn't take today's show as a you know, let's see what this barn burner thing is all about. It's very popular. Okay, so
Starting point is 01:48:27 talked about goalies for a long time. Big goalie break down. And then saying, Love boat. Love boat themes and then hit pause. Yeah. Jack, I got it.
Starting point is 01:48:41 Isn't it great? It's such a good feeling. But we want to hear from you in the show description. You'll find a link that'll take you to a survey for the nation network. Right across the board, we want to know what you're thinking. Answer some questions. Give us your thoughts as we continue to try and build this baby. And you could win a $250 fanatics gift card.
Starting point is 01:49:02 We have multiple gift cards to give away. So get in there. I'd be a nice little pre-Christmas deal. Maybe you keep it for yourself. A pospospital jersey there. Oh, yeah? I can get you to Hubertow. Really?
Starting point is 01:49:16 I know a guy that went to a fundraising event. He overserved himself. I thought he was buying. He thought he was going to Dave Lowry? He thought he wasn't bidding on a Hubert over jersey, but he got a Hubert. Put the wrong lot number in there? Yeah. What did it?
Starting point is 01:49:35 I mean, not that you know, did you ask this person who he thought he was? It wasn't about a jersey. It was like a fishing trip or something. Yeah, it was. Oh, so 45 was the jersey and 54 was the fishing. Yeah, he was not even. Boy, that's a lot for a jersey. He was after a different jersey.
Starting point is 01:49:52 He was not interested in 12K is a lot for a Huberdow jersey in hindsight. Can't believe I got it. This one wasn't even close. But did the fishing trip go for the price of that? No, it's no. It went for 12 grand. Yeah, it actually went for nine grand. So yeah, do that and we'd appreciate it.
Starting point is 01:50:11 It's in the description, descriptor thing. I had Jack. Script or just go. Show notes. Yeah. And the comments. Nice. Very good.
Starting point is 01:50:19 Any comments there? There's a few, but I mean, I don't want to get you upset. No, they're good. They're talking about me? They had the year Zegra's take down. The Ducks fans found that yesterday, and that went a little hot. I see that there's often. They have their own kind of little, uh, sometimes there's a battle royal in there.
Starting point is 01:50:38 Yeah, there's, there's some regular. They just kind of get going at each other. Jack has to come in and kick a guy out every single day. It's poetry. Jack, can you explain that all thing? Yeah, what happens in there? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:50:47 It's this guy named poop. P-O-P-P. Sounds like a good guy. Yeah. Every day. He's got 100 accounts. Thanks for watching the show. We appreciate you, poop.
Starting point is 01:51:00 Oh, boy, poop. Thanks for being there, poop. Just kind of, you know, clean it up. Clean it up a little bit. Flames win? I already picked it. Yeah. You heard my picture.
Starting point is 01:51:13 Do we know? what's happening. I haven't seen anything, but we assume it's Vladar. That would be the rotation. It would be against the grain of how they've done things if it's wolf again. Against the grain. Nobody has gone back to back after a loss if you pick up the drift. Power play versus the worst penalty killing.
Starting point is 01:51:30 I'm going to say the power play street continues five games in a row. I don't know if you like that or not. It's looked good. Are you ordering something? I got to sign up for goalie stuff before it fills out. It's like six minutes. It's opened at noon. So I'm just ripping right through here.
Starting point is 01:51:43 So it'd be good if we just kind of wrap this up then. I'm fine. So you talk about the power play. So it's four, what is it? The power play. 50% five for its last 10, four games in a row it's scored. Four in a row. And they had two, which game, because they scored twice the one game.
Starting point is 01:52:02 100% of the one game. It was two for two against the Rangers. Okay. Minnesota. Was it? Yeah, Minnesota. Because what did they do against the Rangers? Who had that one?
Starting point is 01:52:12 What is this? I have, I'm literally signing up for goal. sessions. Subsidized dread. I need this. One for five against the Rangers. Don't touch it. Jackass. 60 bucks. Perfect. Pay with major credit card. Oh, so who do you think in terms of PP1? See tomorrow. If we can't take this more seriously.
Starting point is 01:52:35 PowerPlay 1 because we've seen some lunch team. Let's go. Some changes and then just buy. See you buddies.
