It feels like I'm very out of it, to be quite. Are you? You're a lot of it? How's your weekend? That's pretty good. Yeah. Big riders win. Was it?

You hate that. I feel bad for Dave. We love Dave. I want good things for Dave. It's not going well for Dave. Dave's struggling maybe a little bit. Maybe Dave's not struggling, but organizationally they're struggling. Yeah, it feels like they're struggling for sure.

I'm at you right now throw my glasses on so no one knows where i'm looking either uh so did you uh do i hosted on friday because we were gonna go to the game and then it was miserable day it really was it was the shites yeah uh too cold jizzling too wet uh too damp too gross so we uh we made some pulled pork nachos and then i ended up i should send you the picture i ended up i ended up because the shoveler in these lovely ladies that live in our homes,

they don't realize the, you know, since joining into this lifestyle, it's been pretty high. The lifestyle. It's been pretty highfalutin. Has it? They don't realize from where we came. Yeah. And the bus rides.

And so there was a foamy in my garage. And so we, so we. So we were discussing... What is a foamy? So we were discussing the bus rides and junior and minors and kids hockey nowadays and all that fun stuff. And then they were like, well, what do you do on the buses? And I'm like, well, you get a foam, a foamy and you put it on the floor and you sleep on the floor. Oh, you sleep. Yeah, yeah.

They're like, what are you talking about? And... You had to be, oh, so I had a foamy in the garage. Sorry, I'm stumbling through this because I'm sending Jack. Yeah. Oh, I just went to you. I didn't even send it to Jack. You explain. Okay. At a foamy in the garage that I remembered was sitting there that looked like one that was from my junior days. And it was rank and disgusting. And so I pulled it out. And Uncle Cool showed him how it demonstrated how it's done. Demonstrated the usage. Yeah. It's nice. Yeah, I like that. So we had a few wobblies, and we ended up sleeping on a foamy on the floor. Now, I've only been on a handful of junior trips over the years.

But if you are unable to sleep on the floor of a bus, it's a nightmare. You sleep like this. This is the only other way I've slept. I'm going to break something. You get your feet up on the back seat of the chair in front of you. Yeah. And you try and. And there's not that much.

room. No. It's more, you're more, it's way more accordion. Yeah. Yeah. And that's the old school bus. I'm sure it's a little nice. Yeah.

I was on a, a Wheat King's trip one time. And again, and you have to be okay with a little bit of claustrophobia because probably your head's under a seat. Oh, yes. That sort of thing. Hit your head a lot. You don't get the aisle necessarily.

You got to kind of wedge your way in, McCrimmon just kicking the shit out of my shins. Sorry. I'll tell you. That's if you're lucky enough to get the floor. Yeah, that's true. Like, you've got to go through a rookie season and establish yourself in the pecking order before you can even have. So would you bring like pillows?

How much were you allowed to bring? I had a suit, a pillow and a sleeping bag and a foamy and never left. We had our own bus. It never left for the year. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, there'd be a lot of farts. Oh, rank. that bus wasn't cleaned in decades yeah

decades yeah I put it in the drive there Jack but yeah you need I now say I now know what you mean it's a it's a foamy so it was a big the the ladies were actually like huh like you literally so who is this that's Uncle Cool yeah yeah I feel like the foamy needs to be longer

because even in junior you'd have been six too I mean you'd have been you'd like it to be but Yeah. You take what you get. Beggers can't be choosers. Stuff's expensive. Yeah. Yeah.

So none of the ladies thought that was a good idea. They didn't want to run. They weren't. No, they didn't say, let me try that out. Okay, my turn,

my turn, none of that, eh? Yeah. What do you, now, when's the last time you've been on a bus? Because it's a different story.

To a certain extent, you're still going to have to sleep, but it's TVs and Wi-Fi. Some of the, aren't there sleeping quarters in some of those? Maybe. I think there are. I think they, because I remember it was years and years ago, and it was Brent Sutter in Red Deer.

And he kind of, I think it was almost like a pilot project that this one of the bus companies is out of Red Deer. They built this bus like, blinged it out. I don't know why you. So they had everything. And then it's, well, the kids can do the homework and there's places for laptops and tablets and there's plugins and all this sort of thing. I'm sure that's exactly what was getting done. But it's still a bus. It's still a bus.

on those rides are long. Minus 30. P.G. Here we come. Prince George, Prince Albert, Brandon. They're still going to Brandon. Still making the trip. They still got a team there.

They don't get to go to Winnipeg anymore, but Brandon is still. Yeah. And for the Wheat Kings. And I'm sure there's other, Prince George is probably the same. But the closest team was Regina. Regina. Three and change.

It's a three hour hall. It's more than three. So you'd be, oh, good. It's just, it's just Regina. Just a quick. And then do a home at home, a Friday, Saturday. Gross. Used to hate getting home for us.

Saturday back home against the Canucks once again. A week today, it's Seattle at home next Wednesday in Winnipeg next Friday at home to Winnipeg and that's it.

Big alumni meeting that night. Is that right? I have a quorum. Do you have enough people for a quorum? And there you see it the regular season. We'll begin October 9th in Vancouver and then the home opener against Philadelphia. Philadelphia, Matt Faye Mishkoff, and the Philadelphia Flyers.
