All righty, time to get out of here on a Wednesday.
Welcome to Barnburn.
It's Boomer, it's Pinder, it's Rhett Warner.
As I'm never, because here's the thing,
we did after Burner last night,
and we got noodles coming on right away.
But I didn't know how to feel about the game last night
because it's a flames win.
You're happy.
They're on the road.
They get points.
But it's like, am I supposed to be happy?
Because what is, is this what we want?
Do you want wins?
Do you want points?
or is it like, shit, you know, you could have lost that thing in regulation against zero points.
And then, you know, I saw very conflicted.
I don't know how to feel about it right now.
Welcome to the RB.
Yeah.
Except is it the RB mixed?
You haven't got to the RB yet.
You should want to lose.
No.
Yeah.
I mean, if it was the RB, then yeah, we know how to feel.
But I don't know that we know.
Do we know?
I don't know.
It's hard to know.
I think we understand what's going to happen.
at the deadline here. I don't think extensions
are happening unless this team goes on a serious
heater and I think it means you're selling your vets
and I think that means this is an RB.
You can call it a retool, you can call it a reset, it's a rebuild.
All right, Dean, here you have it. I'll break it down for you.
Break it down. Boom, boom. I'll break it down for you.
Boom. Me and Biggie, Smalls.
Yep.
Right now, you want victories
and solid play.
You want everyone to excel to their
maximum potential.
come December 1st.
So for two weeks, Dean, two.
See that?
That's a peace sign, but it's also two or d'u in French.
Do so don't be duh.
For two weeks, be real good,
and raise the value of all your free agents
so that they look solid and trade their asses,
give everyone a nice Christmas present,
put them to the moon, send them on their merry way,
and maximize your return.
So two weeks of success and hard-earned victories,
go get him fellows and then give Conroy,
no pressure to sell here.
Whoever's calling about my guys,
we're on a roll.
We're on a roll, damn it.
We look great, we're going for it.
What do you mean you'll give me a first?
Yeah, get him to fuck out of it.
Done.
Right.
I think this is it.
Like, even the worst team in the league wins a lot of games.
You go look at Chicago last year,
Arizona.
You want to see good process.
You want to see your young guys thriving in bigger minutes,
and you want your marketable assets to be looking good.
Zadorav was all that.
He was the full roller coaster last night.
If someone was pro scouting Nikita Zadorov,
they got the full experience.
They got the between the legs,
last man back turnover in his own zone.
They got the can't clear the puck with 15 seconds left in a one goal game.
And they got the end-d-end rush, the great skating, heavy shot.
I mean,
poke check to save the scoring chance.
Yeah.
I mean, it was the full.
foals and or of experience.
That was,
uh,
you get to ride the ride all night.
You had no lines,
just pump it.
Yes.
And that's exactly who he is,
guys.
It is.
I mean,
he's always been toolsy.
Where did he get drafted?
Top,
top 10,
top 15.
He's always been this guy.
If he could think it,
he'd be an all star.
He'd be locked up by the sabers.
How many years ago?
It's,
so it's his brain.
Well,
what else is it?
He's got all the tools.
He's got all the tools.
He can shoot it.
He can skate.
He's skating.
So,
so good right now. Yes.
Flying by past people.
He looks so good right now.
Big stride. Smooth.
He looks so good until he looks awful.
Yes. And then good again. And then it's like,
oh, Jesus. That's why it's the roller coaster
fellas. Like, did you see him turn his back to the enemy
and throw the puck between his legs to the opposition,
last man back in his own zone? Like, you can't write this shit. It's unbelievable.
You've got to be brave. I do wonder.
and we'll get
we'll bring noodles in right now
and do the thing
but if there's somebody
because teams are scouting now
they're scouting Nikita Zadora
so they'll have the scout
in their pro scout he'll be on his phone
holy shit this guy can skate like the wind
this guy's got an unbelievable reach
I mean yeah we need this guy
four shifts later
Jesus Christ he made such like he just turned the puck
right over in his own zone I don't know what he was thinking
so just hold on hang on pause just
no you know what that must have just been a rare brain fart because he he roared back and knocked
the puck like unbeaten the reach smashed a guy this is exactly what we need yeah yes give them
whatever they want you know what with like 15 seconds left he he turned the puck right over inside
the blue line and they got a scoring chance i don't know like somebody is just they're going to
Zadorov University right now.
They're getting their first
their first view at everything that is
the key to Zadora.
A cat tech.
Yeah. Big Cat Tech.
Yeah. Big Cat University for sure.
And teams are familiar.
He's going to be on his fifth team in the spring.
Like there's always been tools to dream on
or this guy's not on his fifth team this spring.
We'll bring in Jamie McClendon.
He's going to come in on the insider hotline for Tellus.

we go and say hello and good morning to Jamie McClennan. James, how are we doing, buddy?
I'm good. How's everybody today? I was saying we don't know. Flames win, but do we want them to win?
we're very confusing.
Confusing.
I mean, there's positive things.
The goalie was really good.
I mean, the goalie was good.
I heard you guys talking about Big Z,
the zero to 100 and then back to zero
and then up to 40 and then, but like what the,
but that is, you know, if you go to Z University,
that's what you're going to learn about him
as he's all over the map.
But I mean, here's the thing.
There's teams out there that would covet, you know, what is he, six, five, six four, like he's a big man.
Six, five, six.
Two hundred and fifty pounds.
Plays with some bite.
You know, everybody feels they can fix him, you know, and fix him, meaning, you know, if he, hey, comes into our system, we got somebody who can play with him and settle him down and do all these things.
I just don't know if the player himself, he's his own worst enemy.
because we've played with guys, Red, you can speak to us.
I'm not going to say names, but there are guys who are fifth and six defensemen who think
they're first, their second, like that in their mind, they're the greatest players.
And I always say it, I never had it.
Ignorance is bliss.
Like, just go out and play.
I can pull this.
I can, you know, we see in new athletes them trying stuff, and you're like, whoa, I would
have never tried that.
but, you know, good for him.
I think he is an important piece if Craig Conroy is going to move him.
And I think you should get something decent for him because he has what the NHL wants right now,
or is dying for.
If it's a copycat league, you watch Vegas with long defensemen, big, long, mean defensemen win.
So what is he?
Is he a Christian Susie?
You know, is he that type of player?
Is he a Lexiac?
that, you know, is, does he fall into that type of category?
I know he believes he, he thinks he's more like Kail McCar.
Honest to God, I think in a candid moment, in a candid moment, if you asked him, like, you know,
could you and KL be in the same stratosphere?
I think he would wholeheartedly believe that.
But it comes back to, hey, like, in our minds, we all believe we're something,
but then the product is what it is.
He's a good player.
I don't think he's a great player, but I think he has tremendous value.
So, and, you know, that being said, I hated what the agent did.
I hate that stuff, you know, bringing it public and, you know, oh, I didn't bring it public or I did.
And then Z's out there talking and he's contradicting himself.
And now, how did the players in the room?
What do you think they're saying going like, what the hell is this is a side show?
So I didn't like the whole way it's been handled by the agent and the player.
But ultimately, it's out there.
So now they got to sort something out.
Well, we've always said what they need to do is give Z just some turkey and gravy and mashed before every game some triptophan in the system just to kind of just ease.
Settle them down.
Take it down a little bit.
But yeah, Z University is something.
And we agree.
We kind of feel like there's no real reason why this guy shouldn't bring you something in trade.
Well, you're there.
I think you're in.
We can't see you.
Did I lose you?
We can hear you.
Can you hear us?
Oh, dear.
It'll reconnect.
That's all right.
He'll reconnect.
But it's the same with all these guys, right?
There is good reason to believe that you should get something good for them.
Chris Tanna, what's not to like?
Zedorov.
What's not to like?
You can't hear us, hey?
You got us now?
Maybe you've got to do one, do one of these.
Take a break and then reconnect.
I do want to ask them.
And Rhett and I talked about it last night on Afterburner.
It's like quarterbacking in the NFL, maybe not to that extreme.
But for teams to sit and watch their goaltender, cost them hockey games,
and then watch a team like Calgary, who's likely not going to make the playoffs,
let's think there's going to be a long shot to get in,
have a guy playing at Markstrom's level, or a guy that's at that level and you know can
elevate, how do we get that guy?
I just, we've talked for so long about how
impossible it is to trade a guy like that.
I'm just wondering, given the circumstances,
is it as big a long shot?
If, if he looks at his buddy, we've got, Jamie, can we bring?
Yes, bring me back.
Okay, we got you.
I pivoted quickly.
I want to talk to you about Markstrom.
He's got what, two years left on his deal.
He came to Calgary for the money, but also his
buddy Elias Lindholm was there and they looked like we're going to go and win,
we're going to play together this whole thing.
If Lindholm's out at the end of the year and it doesn't look like there's going to be winning,
he's got a no trade clause, but let's assume, you know, I'll move that.
Which is because I just want to, I just, we have talked a lot about it over the last little bit.
And just the feel seems to be you can't move a guy like that with that term dollar inside a
season. Those deals don't happen. I just wonder if there's a chance that it could be different,
if there's an appetite from the player to move on. Yeah, I think there is. Now, Red, do you want to
try to hear right? The only thing I was going to jump in with, to lead with this first and go into it,
do you believe, first of all, that the flames have a chance at the playoffs? Because that
dictates everything. Yeah, I mean, I said at the start of the year, so I've got to own it.
Like, I thought with just better player of the players that were there that had off seasons,
I'm like, yeah, the playoffs could be realistic.
You know, if you saw some regression from Seattle and, you know, other teams, you know,
San Jose is trying to be bad.
Like Anaheim may take a step, but I don't think they're there.
So I thought Calgary was going to be, I mean, they missed the playoffs by two points and had
dreadful seasons last year from their top players.
So I thought, I thought, okay, Marks,
is going to be better. Hubido is going to be better. Cadreys going to be better. Linhom's going
to be better. They're in contract year. So I'm thinking, okay, this can be a playoff team.
So with that in mind, if that's what you're selling, if you're Craig Conroy or the management
team there, John Bean, the president, is that what you're telling Murray Edwards? This is a playoff
team. And you know, you've got to count on maybe a couple home gates there. That's kind of what I'm
thinking. So if that's the mantra from ownership, then I don't know. Do you sell pieces off?
Or are you looking at it? Okay, it's been a slow start. You can't blame the coach because there's a new
coach. You can't blame. There's no, the blame game is you can't point out. You've got to point in.
And Hubertos got three assists in 11 games. And they're trying to move them around the lineup to
see if we can find a spot for him to look comfortable in. You know, Cadry's shown signs of life
recently.
Linholm is a solid player, but
you know, you're seeing
the best players. We talked about it last
week. Like Connor's area was
looked, you know, he's a point per game.
The kids look good.
So, you know, so boomer, getting
back to your question, I think
there are teams that would covet
Markstrom. You know, and
I mean, easier said than done
getting him on your roster if he wants to go.
I mean, how much would Ken Holland
pay to have? So,
stability or a guy that could play every night there, you know, given that.
I don't even know what a deal would look like in that scenario and have you trade up the
road.
But there are teams that are dying for goaltending.
Markstrom has shown he can be a top tier goaltender.
I thought he was fantastic last night, some big saves.
But like, I just, if you're breaking it down, like even if you just wanted to bottom out,
if you're the flames, can't do it overnight.
There's too many good players there, I think.
and then, you know, you still have to keep guys.
So I do believe, going back to your original question,
I thought they were a playoff team.
They're going to hang around it just because there's,
if the goaltender gives them a chance every night,
that's the scary part.
But I don't know if that's the end game,
where you want to go.
Yeah, and just a quick thought on that,
and then I'll let other guys,
I was just looking at your schedule.
And they beat Nashville, they beat Montreal,
they beat Seattle.
I'm not sure if any of those teams are playoff teams.
They beat Winnipeg and probably shouldn't have
an opening night.
Upcoming, they have Dallas, Colorado, Vegas, and then Dallas again.
Those are their last four games.
I think the picture is going to be a lot clearer very soon as to whether they're a
playoff team.
It's still, it's mid-November.
I think by the time you get past American Thanksgiving and into December and that,
it's going to be a lot clearer what they are.
Yeah. So anyway.
It's a great point.
It is a great point because you're looking at schedule and quality of schedule.
That's, that's murderers row coming up for them.
you know, five games where you've got teams that are, you know, serious, serious teams.
I watch that Dallas team play last, like, they're good.
Like, Vegas is good, you know, that you're right.
Like, you know, beating Montreal.
Montreal gives you what they got, though.
Like, they're not a rollover.
Some of these teams that are, you know, not playoff teams or retooling,
they still have got some talent there.
So, yeah, you're right.
I think the proof will be in the pudding probably about two to three weeks from now.
Yeah.
One of your colleagues, Pierre LeBron, Darren Dregger, they put out their insider trading yesterday.
And LeBron was saying that just details on the Hannafin extension that almost was and then wasn't,
that it was a $60 million extension.
That's north of Devon Taves.
That's seven and a half million per season.
And it was no Hanifton who actually, it sounds like put the brakes on that.
That's, he's going to have to do a lot to, I think, over a seven-year deal at,
at UFA July 1 to find
60 million out there. I guess just thoughts
on that because he's
he said no thank you to
a lot of money. So do you guys
remember the movie with Jim Carrey where he's
the lawyer that can't lie
is liar liar liar? Do you
remember they in the courtroom
they offer the deal and he's
like sign it sign it sign it sign it
and she the
the lady who cheats on the husband
goes I'm the victim here you told
me I can get it you know and he's
excited. When I hear that number for that player, in my mind, Jim Carrey from Lyer,
Liar, liar is screaming. Like, I don't know what else. Like, maybe there's, it's more the
marketplace. Maybe it's more the player wants to play, the play somewhere else.
Maybe.
You know what I mean? Fucking overpay. That's ridiculous. Devin Taves are Noah Hannafin. Pick one.
Like, it's not close. 32. T.m. are taking Devin.
Taves.
You're right.
The hometown overpay?
It's not the hometown
disguess.
I thought I didn't know
a hometown overpay
was a thing.
It makes me worry
about this management team
if they think that's a deal
that's going to help them
at any way.
Like you know,
no Hanapurth assets.
You understand that
players you're getting back
in these deals are on
entry level contracts.
Like, why were you
willing to do that
to a team that already
has locked too much money
into the likes of Hubert
O'Cadry Weeger?
Well, let me,
let me ask you guys this.
And this is actually a
genuine question.
Is Calgary getting to a point, and it was brought up on our show yesterday,
where they've got to protect their brand,
because you don't want it to be a destination that's on the no-trade,
no-fly list for a lot of teams.
So that's where you're looking at players,
and the ownership is saying, hey, you know,
we've had Guadro leave, we've had Cachuk leave,
we've had rumblings of other players no go or want to, you know, want to head out.
You don't want that trickling through the league.
And I think that's where that the fine line of the overpay or the fine line of like we do need to
keep some of the guys that we do covet and we do want.
And I'll only say this because, and I grew up in Edmonton, you guys know, there's markets now
that you have to overpay.
I call them cold weather tax or, you know, city tax.
Winnipeg's one of them.
Ottawa is one of them.
Carolina is one of them because they're not the sexiest destinations on the planet.
So that's the only thing that I could defend on an overpay is if you want to keep that player,
sometimes you've got to pay that, that we'll call it small market tax.
I don't disagree with you, but two things.
We said it.
Nikita Zadarup, you don't want to be here.
I think he's a good player.
I actually like how he plays.
I mean, you get.
He's got jam.
is what he is, but I like him.
You don't want to be here?
Get the hell out.
Yeah.
And that's fine.
We move on.
Buffalo struggled with it.
It takes me a while to get to this.
You are already one of those cities.
Because you said, you're the cold water.
I think you have to operate differently.
And I think overpaying is the mistake that they all think they have to make.
Yeah.
And it's the opposite.
I think the move is the way to manage it is to move the assets when you need to move them before you have to overpay them.
There is a value to them, but you just have to be damn confident and damn sure that what you're getting in return and what you, the picks that you make are going to fill holes and needs.
Right.
And you operate the Tampa Bay raise or the shits, aren't they?
Like nobody wants to play in Tampa Bay, but there's a lot of effing players that have come.
through Tampa Bay and turned in
the big money players for other teams.
And I think
I know what you're saying
and I think it's the approach of all these guys.
I think it's the opposite.
I agree. I agree. The opposite approach is what
I wasn't defending it. Allow these guys to play well and then
if they don't like it, bust your ass
out of here. You're either an Albertan
at heart or you're not part of it long term.
Yeah. And if I think really quickly, sorry Jamie.
Just like the way that you sign the
worst contract in the NHL is starting to act like you've got to protect your brand. You forget
about winning. You forget about how you want to structure your contracts and you sign Jonathan
Hubert out of this massive deal that's all bonus laden. You can't buy out because to quote the
GM you had to punch back and defend Calgary. That's where you get yourself in trouble.
The sexiest thing you can sell in any market is winning. And it deals like that that stop you
from winning. Hanifin at seven and a half, that is going to hurt you signing for ages down
the road because it's going to hurt your chances at winning. You're going to be capped out.
winning teams always attract talent we've seen in calgary after that run you guys went on o three
or four there was a lot of high end sexy name brand guys that came into calgary and it didn't
have to be an overpay it's because they thought they could win winning is one of the greatest things
a player looks for if not number one on the list money's up there market and climate fine but build
a winning program and that's where i'm on the same pages right here build winners then you'll be
able to sign people without overpaying it's a great point and i actually all i was a point
out is exactly what I think that mindset is. I wasn't advocating for it. I've just been saying
like I, I, I, Red, Buffalo's a great, you know, great case study. So they ended up finding a star
and Alex Tuck who actually wanted and is excited to come home, right? So you build a program there
and then you will attract people that want to play there to your point, Pender. And I think it's great.
It's, it's, I agree 100%. You build a program that people want to pay.
piece of, regardless of the marketplace, the weather, all of that. But right now, when you're
kind of in that middle of, you know, you're not a great playoff team and you're not, you know,
a bottom feeder. That's the, it's the most dangerous place to play because you are having to
overplay, overpay to keep guys if you want them in that. So we were, you know, our whole discussion was,
is it a reputational thing? Are you concerned about the reputation moving forward? You're concerned about the
reputation moving forward.
At some point,
you know, it's like anything, if you're the
weaker part in a relationship, people
do anything to keep that relationship.
Sometimes it's better.
You know, the fit is better.
That person might not be best for you.
So you just move on.
So I agree with Red.
I agree with you, Pender, and what you guys are saying.
Because if you build a program that is second to none,
that is class, that is, you know,
everybody wants a piece of, then you will attract
that extra piece when you at least know it you know what at the last moment that puts you over the
top so um i was shocked at that number as well but i like i say we went that's where kind of my head
went is i look at winnipeg i look at ottawa some of these teams you almost add a million
dollars extra for that that cold weather tax i call it and you know winnipeg is is a prime example
pierre luke de blois you know see you later well we're going to turn you into something right
and those players seem like they're settling in.
But then you also get guys that were drafted and developed,
Halibuck and Shifley.
They're going to be lifers there.
And that core.
And what that said was to Kyle Connor and Nikolai Eelers and some of those young guys,
it's like these guys want to be here.
So it's what they've built in Winnipeg.
And that's kind of what I'm using as a case study.
And Rhett, same thing with Buffalo.
Buffalo's turned the corner.
You've got guys that have committed there that want to be there.
we're also seeing like you mentioned connor zeri he's gotten on a line with uh nazum cadry and
martin pospousal the other kid well pospousel's now got four points in five games and zary is a point per
game and along with that nazam cadry is now over a point for game in his last seven he's got eight
and his last seven and he's playing some of the best hockey we've seen that influx of talent it's not
always you can't just bring in guys that are 2021 and it's going to work but zeri was a first rounder
and pospals has been a prospect for a while.
You just, you wonder why there is such a reluctant sometimes
to hand things out to bring in the young guys.
They've got Wolf who's already got a taste in net.
You feel like he's going to be okay here.
Fans aren't going to abandon the team.
They aren't going to put their flames jerseys in moth balls
if they trade away veteran guys and bring in kids.
It's a savvy market.
They'll be excited to see these young guys come in.
And we've seen already through whatever it is,
10, 12 games that the young guys can.
they'll be okay.
The kids are all right, as they say, you know?
Yeah, I agree.
And I think you are seeing, I just, I think us, the four of us talking,
you probably want to see it yesterday.
You want to see it like happen.
I do believe it's happening slower than people want, but it is happening.
And you do see a mentality there where Craig Conroy is trying to place these kids in situations
where they can, you know, get a taste.
have some success and kind of run with it.
You know, you call the kid up, you know, Wolf the other day.
Yeah, I mean, didn't stand on his head, but you give him a taste, you show him,
and, you know, you send him back down.
You've got some flexibility.
But you're also, I thought Vladar really battled in Toronto.
I didn't think he had his A stuff early on, but he really didn't give up on anything.
And I thought he made a couple big saves in overtime and really got them a point.
So, you know, that's the, I think there's a bigger play there.
If Markstrom can stabilize, you bring Wolf up and, you know, Vladar, there's a marketplace
for them, unless there's a bigger play, like you guys are saying.
You got two years left of Markstrom at $6 million.
If there is a bigger play, I don't know if that's a deadline thing or a next summer thing.
But, you know, are you in a rush to move all these players out if the end game is going to be rebuilt?
you do it methodically, you know, to get the most value out of it. Because Zadorov, guaranteed,
I thought it was done to put the agent puts it out there. So guaranteed Craig Conroy's phone
lights up. And everyone wants to offer an olive branch to take that, you know, that problem off of his
hands. And it's going to be for a seventh rounder or whatever. Like so, you know, if Connie can be
patient here, allows Zadorov a marketplace to continue to build for him, he's going to get market
value or more for Zedorov, depending on how the desperate that team trading for him wants to be.
Real quick, if I can, you sort of alluded to it, boom, and I just wanted a thought from
noodles on it.
I sort of see a Markstrom deal as something that was impossible a year ago because he was playing
so bad, and there was still three plus left on it.
All of a sudden, it looks more reasonable to me.
If you ate a couple million, he's four million bucks.
You get three playoff runs, two more years, if you're a contender, what teams are in the market?
I know you mentioned Edmonton, but where else?
Do you think the kings are in love with Camp Talbot?
I know it's been a nice start.
You know, is it a fit with Toronto?
Like what teams are you saying, man, if they just had a blue chip and net, they'd be aces?
Well, L.A.
L.A. comes to mine right away.
Now, Cam Talbot's been great.
Phoenix Copley, you know, it took him a lifetime to be an NHLer, you know, consistently.
But Talbot had three injuries last year that were really tough on Ottawa.
So, you know, you look at it, I would much rather, you trade for a stud.
I don't know how you could make the money work like you say.
If you make them a $4 million goal tender, you've got to sort things out.
But L.A. would be, for me, number one, I haven't been as well.
I think Toronto would kick tires.
I think Toronto, you know, they like Joseph Wall.
I think Sampsonoff on a one-year deal after arbitration, you know, that would have to be some eating some money or, like, you know,
Samsonoff would have to go the other way.
I think Toronto would be in that marketplace.
I wonder about Carolina.
I was just going to say.
Freddie Anderson out in that.
They've been right on the doorstep for years, it feels like.
Well, and they have the Russian kid.
Cachette Coff.
Cachette Coff.
He identifies.
I think he's like Hungarian or something.
But they've got him, but you're right.
Carolina, I've been kind of disappointed in them this year.
I thought, you know, I thought they were just going to hit the ground running.
They've hit the ditch.
and Freddie Anderson, if you look at his injury history, you know, these blood clots are obviously very serious and very scary.
But he's had injuries in the past where it's like they just shut him down for two weeks and all of a sudden he just shows up.
In Toronto, he got shut down the last month and he was available and they were like, no, he's not available or sort of.
Like there was just so many things going with him.
Carolina would be, you know, top tier.
And the other, you know, like I look at those teams.
teams, those teams are really good, but they need stability and net.
So we've named four just off the top of our head.
And I mean, you know, put more thought to it.
Colorado would be another one.
Freddie Frances, Pavel François, just packed it in for the season,
unfortunately, for an injury.
So you've got, you know, Georgiev, who's a good goaltender,
but is he the guy that is going to lead them to the promised land?
So I would look at Colorado as another destination.
So there's five teams we've named off the top of our head that you could at least create a marketplace and see what it looked like.
We haven't talked to you, obviously, since the weekend, we're going to get you out of here right away.
But the coaching change in Edmonton, I guess your thoughts on Woodcroft out and Knoblock in.
Chaos.
I don't like, I, Jay Woodcroft all of a sudden forgot how to coach 11, 12 games.
Like the players, seeing McDavid's face the other day, like almost he's a competitive guy.
But I think that group was embarrassed.
And they rightfully should be because the coach got fired when the players weren't playing well.
Like legitimately, there was there was two guys in that team who were playing to their capabilities.
And one was Warren Fogle and the other was Vander Cain.
Outside of that, there was, you know, 97 and 29 hadn't gotten there yet.
the goaltending was no good nurse cc bouchard you name it like this everyone down the line like
just just red rotten uh you know so um and then you bring in and i know the optics are awful because it's
like okay jeff jackson's there now it's connor macdavits junior coach and his buddies are there
croner brown and that but ultimately they're trying to to to keep him happy but i i think
this reeks of the owner the owner is a a very volatile unique person
and when you have a single owner and not a board to answer to,
you see things like, who knows if somebody got into his ear and said,
I can do this, sir.
You know, you should do this.
You should do that.
But ultimately, what's happened now is this is right back on the players.
The players responded.
I thought they played pretty well in their last game and then even in Seattle.
But, you know, they need better play from their top players.
And is, this would be my question, is, let's say,
say Evanton crawls back and they make it to the playoffs and they try to go on a run.
Chris Knoblock have the bench experience to go up against Bruce Cassidy or Peter DeBore
or Peter Lavie-Alet.
Like some of these veteran coaches that tinker and in-game adjustments.
Bednar.
Bednar, you know, you name it.
I'm just talking out even out west.
You're right.
Like Lavialeta in the east.
But yeah, some of these great coaches out west.
Todd McClellan, another one, who's a tactical coach.
So I know the jury's out.
He's a young guy.
He did have the Scrabble face behind the bench when he walked out there.
Like he looked, there was a lot of nerves and emotion going on there.
But you know what?
They got him a win.
We'll see how he settles in.
I always think it's weird when a head coach doesn't bring somebody with him.
He just inherited Paul Coffey and he inherited the two other assistant coaches.
Like usually there are tandums and they work together like a trusted, you know,
know, power play coach trusted something.
Like, this guy just got parachuted in.
It's like, hey, go coach this team tomorrow.
And, you know, I thought that whole transaction was weird, but the timing of it is,
it's never a good time to fire a coach.
And obviously, even a little bit of the disconnect, they had to clarify it between
Holland's comments and Jeff Jackson's.
Was not, I mean.
That was embarrassing.
Oh, yeah.
We talked to the veterans.
No, we didn't talk to anybody.
Yeah.
Like, and that's, yeah.
That's the other part, right?
Is now you've got McDavid's agent as the CEO and his old junior coach as the head coach.
It's McDavid incorporated there.
Connor Browns is line made.
It's got, if there's a guy you want to rally around, it's McDavid, I get that.
But it's on him for sure.
Well, here's the thing.
He's got to go play then.
Like, go and, and, you know, you, and I think that's the other thing.
I don't know if he actually wanted all of this, but he has it.
So you've got to own it and go.
Like, go play.
he looked he's looked better his last couple games he's coming out of whatever he's been dealing with
he's shown some bursts of speed i still don't think his shots there but i i think his feet are
starting to get there his mind's getting there but um hey they got a they got a tall task ahead of
them and and you know they've got to they've got to slow the chaos down like just go play and
and as you you talked about before winning quiet's everything but it's very noisy right now
Yeah.
Appreciate you as always before, just now you had mentioned earlier that you played in Calgary
with a defenseman who thought he was Keel McCarral out of the blue.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's not on this call, is he?
He is not.
That gentleman knew exactly what his capabilities are.
And he, and he knew exactly how to play every night.
And that's the, that's the beauty.
That's the beauty of the players.
And it wasn't Robin McGeer.
You know what?
Really?
like no you know who it
of course it's not robin
young man's the young man that shouldn't
be in as confident as he was
right the guy that wanted the boom box weird
red red you red you know who it is
and it's it's our guy and he's in heaven watching us
that's who it was and and uh god love
monte but monte was
Monty in his mind
was
a first like he was a number one
defenseman and he would try stuff
out there you're like whoa where did that come from and then darrell would walk down to the bench and say
Monty don't ever do that again and he would laugh about it like these guys last guys last year couldn't
handle darrell at all and Monty would laugh it off like oh i know but god like just god love
monte like he in his mind it was like i'm going to play and i'm going to try this out and
if it works great if it doesn't well we'll see what happens
And I just, I always laughed about that because I never had that confidence.
I never had it to, to just try things or just to kind of relax and play.
I was always wound tighter than a drum.
But man, Monty just.
He was playing for a month and get a game and they'd go out to a backhand sauce.
Our own end through the, right, just right through the scoring area.
Backhead sauce, no looker.
You're like, what in the, dude, you have.
It's not great play.
He just look at you.
What?
What?
It was a good play.
I saw it there.
You're like, holy smokes, man.
But I, like, that's what made him a great player is he just went out and played.
And he tried things with, you know, within his skill set and outside of his skill set.
And whatever worked, worked.
I just, I loved it.
I think of him all the time when I, when we talk about players that just play and Monty was one of them.
I just never had that, that special ability to do that.
So, oh, well.
Yeah.
Hey, noodles.
Have a great week, buddy.
Appreciate you as always.
All right, guys.

Good guy.
Real quick thought there.
You know what?
Just brightens your day.
Just turns things around.
Feeling good.
Old Montador.
That is good.
He was saying that, you know,
Kate's a bit of a wild cat owner up in Edmonton and some guys are in his ears.
One of the guys that really has had his ear for quite a while is Paul Coffey were in his Stanley Cup bring on the bench.
And that's not a bad thing.
Paul Coffey knows a lot about winning.
But we even saw when it was the old red wine alumni.
club going on like eight years ago nine years ago he was like brought in to be an assistant
midseason for like a month like coffee's one of those guys that has the owners here for better or for
worse we'll see hey i mean whenever if we talk about it or you have critique or you criticize oh
but the calgary's oh just take the calgary edmonton stuff away it all does seem a little bit
strange and especially like the the press conference with holland and jackson was one thing and then like
we said the other day, Paul coffee comes on. He's like, yeah, I didn't want the job. I don't,
I don't want the job. And, you know, Cates wants me to do it. So I guess I'll do it. It's like,
what's going on? What's happening? I feel for Noblock, because Naubleau can't say no.
You're getting your, it's an NHL head coaching job with the best player in the world.
And he does do a just okay job and they could come second in the division. They're that talented
and they've got that bad of net mining and they've been that bad at finishing. Like, I really
don't think he needs to change anything for this to be a playoff team. It's just fresh air.
Let's not
Woodcroft was not
revered as a genius
Can't Miss coach. He went into Edmund
He says it's the exact same scenario
And we look at Woodcroft as being a really good coach
This knobblock should be a really good coach
Yeah and I've met Chris
He's he's coached in Cutney and then went over to Erie
And seems like a really great guy
But this to noodles's point
You are thrown right into the kiln here for your first job
Like this is not a, okay, what's your first camp look like, where we're young, rebuilding,
you got some runway.
You don't have runway.
There's two-year window here.
And it's down to, you know, a year and three quarters.
That's all they have on these deals here before there's incredible uncertainty.
It's, it's an interesting spot.
I mean, he could be a Hall of Fame coach and this is how it starts or he could be just,
you know, one of six coaches that Connor McDavid's played for when we look back in three years.
Yeah, I really hope it works out.
I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know.
I'm sure he's a great guy.
I just really hope.
I hope things work out for the best.
I mean, if all the fans want to compare to the flames, that's perfect.
I mean, if you have two of the best players on Earth and you want to measure up against Calgary flames, we are thrilled in Calgary.
We'll throw a parade when there's no banners raised by the time the stars are gone.
That's measuring stick.
Calgary is right with you.
So how's California?
We're leaving today.
Are you leaving today?
I'm leaving today.
You got the towel.
A little hazy.
A little hazy.
See?
I got to burn that haze off.
Oh, I see.
How's the pool?
The pool must be exhausted with your kids in there.
Yeah.
And it's not just my kids.
My sister and her crew have been in and out here.
And a few of them are in Disneyland.
A few of them are hanging with us.
It's a lot of sweat and hair and piss and shit.
and kid stuff.
What?
I mean, it's just chaos in there.
Yeah.
Your dad will be sad to see you guys leave.
He's, uh,
yeah, he's somehow coping probably about the fifth T-box right now.
Yeah.
Boy, Tom.
Is that too loud, Jack?
Perfect.
Yeah, sounds good.
We're going to do a little bit of, uh,
I dig it right now.
Finning cat is on board.
They want you to know.

but American Thanksgiving is coming up.
And I think last time I did a, I dig it.
It was a piece of, what was it, the bobblehead with Ascroft doing the crossbar pushups or the crossbar press chest.
Chest press.
There you are.
Another merchandise item.
And I'm not trying to be a bobblehead collectibles guy, but I just couldn't pass this up knowing this show.
The Detroit Red Wings in honor of American Thanksgiving are handing these out.
That is a wing Zamboni gravy boat, 7,500 redwings.
Get in your car.
Four hours away.
I'm going.
Wow.
Like, are you kidding?
That's genius.
7500 gravy Zamboni boats.
Unbelievable.

I read something the other day and they were they were kind of going to battle, going to bat for the gravy boat saying, are we still using gravy boats?
Or are we just putting it in like a like a measuring cup with the spout on the end?
Or are we just are we using a bowl with the gravy spoon?
Don't let the gravy boat die.
That maybe when when young people, when these whatever they are now, are they still millennials?
I don't even know what they are.
The younger people when they're putting their wedding register.
through. Are you putting a gravy boat on there? Are you putting the gravy boat in with the
That should be a prerequisite to attend the wedding for you, Dean, right there.
You're getting a gravy boat. If you don't have a gravy boat on your registry, present registry,
I'm not attending your bullshit wedding. I'm out. Count me the F out. Your bullshit wedding.
Yeah. This marriage is a sham.
Um, would anybody have?
Take a gravy boat and throw it at them when they're up on the.
Speak now or forever hold your pace.
They don't want a goddamn gravy boat.
It'll never last.
And she's a whar.
Oh, dear.
God remember when we were in Mexico retro?
Was that our first trip to Mexico?
Yes.
Oh, cool.
Hammered?
Oh, we go to Mexico on a trip with listeners.
and wasn't he there?
I don't know.
I think this is the first one when he,
the rooms that didn't have the rooms that had actual keys on
shoelaces.
Anyway,
it's oddly a nice day in Mexico or,
and you can look over top.
There's like the,
the resort and then down below is the,
the beach, but then there's a grassy area.
And they're having a nice little wedding.
So they have the chairs and then there's, of course,
the aisle and the little thing.
there, the arch where they're going to get married.
Are you going to tell us?
Oh, yeah, you got it.
And we're kind of watching.
Now, we're not like, oh, look how nice this is.
It's not that.
It's like, oh, someone's, look, they're getting married.
So you just kind of watch it.
And then one of the guys who came on our trip leans over,
here come da-da, like she's going down the aisle.
she's got a fat ass.
Her special day.
So everybody, of course, does one of these.
And we're all just standing there.
It's like,
oh, for Christ's sakes.
And he is exactly the type of person
who you would think would yell at a bride
on her wedding day,
you've got a fat ass.
Like, he is exactly that guy.
In the end, it was like,
I'd have been more surprised
if he didn't say something, that if he'd have yelled that the bride had a fat ass as she's walking down the aisle.
God Almighty.
That was one of the worst trips ever.
The resort was straight shit.
Oh, retro was not happy.
I had flights booked.
I was leaving.
Yeah, it was gross.
Didn't they switch you hotels because it was so bad?
How did that go?
No, we were going to.
I was good.
And I was like, I'm paying to go on a work trip.
Damn.
Not good.
Anyway.
Speaking of trips,
you know what?
If you want to be at Muller Arena,
and you want to tell,
you know,
Matthias Machelli,
he's got a fat ass.
I don't care.
Go at it.
Yep.
Fill your boots.
Don't matter to me.

Yeah.
They didn't have, like, they had towels,
but no washcloths.
It was, it was very,
it was very strange.
It was like, I don't, I just remember you, you put the do not disturb on your door.
You didn't get new sheets or anything, nothing, nothing for a week.
Well, out the back door, Pender was a field and on the other side of that was trouble.
Oh.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Trouble.
It was, yeah.
It was, hmm.
So what's keeping trouble?
from from us across this field here that empty field that's yeah dude in the white shirt
standing at the gate well i feel safe it was not good not ideal we would never do that to you
again no god to learn yeah you learn yeah no the the greatest threat of danger will be pender yes
if you can avoid getting scared or high kicked or head butted or something don't catch a heel
It's fine.
Yeah, he'll be just...
And we'll just avoid weddings altogether.
I think that's a safe, just policy moving forward for our trips.
You got a fat ass!
Or Gouly almost got a heel, eh?
Yes, he did.
Down at the face off,
that was Lindholm.
Boot, heel, skate came up and clocked him in the math.
Lucky.
It's not a good thing.
Not ideal.
Let's do the Pinder Report.
Yeah.
I understand it's elaborate.
I understand Jack was complaining about.
about it. He said, good.
Can he stop? Can you stop one day, Jack?
I could just stop complaining.
Like, Steelers are six and frickin' three.
You should be a happier and a pig and shit.
You work with three optimistic, glass half full people.
You're really bringing the room down.
Jack.
I'm in a very good mood today.
Let's keep it going.
All right.
Time for the Pinder report.
Shut up, Jack.
A presentation.
From now until the end of the month, Village Honda.

and drop it off for those in need.

It is Village Honda.
They present the Pinda Report.
Follow as we start in La Belleville,
La Belleville,

Wee.
The Montreal Canadians.
The cathedral temple, from failing hands, we passed the torch.
Hey, you guys watched the game after burner.
What did you say?
Let's see.
I want more Matthew Coronado because I think if he's playing with these kids and a little bit more energy,
he got stuck playing those nine shitty games when no one was into it.
Yeah.
I'm wondering how good he would be playing with some energy, some guys that are going.
Give me more Matthew Coronado.
I mean, yeah, he was here when the morale was not high.
No.
Yeah, there is, there are no wins coming anytime soon.
Now he's, I think he's, he's got a couple of goals and he's playing, I think he's
point per game and he's having success at the American hockey league level.
And that's fine.
He's playing, playing a lot of minutes.
But yeah, it's, uh, I don't need to see Greer.
I like Greer, but I don't need to see him.
Let's get the kid up here.
Let's go.
Fine.
Let him play with some guys that are giving her.
I don't mind that take.
And I think great minds think alike.
Retro.
We got, uh, Coronado update.
coming for you. It's funny. They've rotated the guys on the right side of
Cadre and Zeri. It was Yigor for a while. We saw
Pospital there who's been really strong as well. The kids. But right
shot on that line? Coronado down the road? I
geez, yes, please. It's been their best line and watched him play
three or four days ago here against Coachella Valley. A leisure
offensive zone great, but just minutes. I think that's all this guy's looking for.
and you kind of fell out of favor and got down to the fourth line.
And you're like, this isn't what you should be doing.
You were playing against Brown University last year at this time.
Go play.
So I agree with you.
The next few weeks here, he's on a heater.
He's feeling good.
Bring him up, play them.
Give him some minutes.
Give him some kids.
Jeez.
Thanks, Binder.
Well, get that off in, eh, Dean?
I know.
It's all that sunshine, vitamin D.
Well, you are lobbying for a guy out of NCAA and that.
so you're kind of going to
his wheelhouse.
It's funny.
I was looking at it.
I mean,
Zeri's been phenomenal.
I want to talk about him.
So a couple of Zeri stats for you.
And then we'll bring it back to the big picture.
And we need a nickname for this.
I'm thinking Cesar,
like Cesari,
Caesar,
everyone loves a Cesar.
We'll workshop that.
Here are the Conners, fellas.
Connor Bedard,
13 and 13.
McDavid,
12 and 12,
Zary 6 and 6.
Not bad.
That's...
Ceres second in rookie scoring.
This is a...
a hands bomb right here and Connor Brown zero in nine I think is oh yeah sorry not Connor
more sorry very good at all this is very good this is the day that it all began it wasn't
very long ago it was November 1st that he got called up Dean and look at the numbers since he's
so it's so it's so you could have two top five rookies it's very possible yeah it's
Zeri Pohostrad.
That was a lot of that.
It was.
And it got me thinking, so right now you have Zeri in the lineup.
You will have Peltje back in the new year.
I imagine we'll see Coronado in the coming weeks and months.
Hanzek is eligible to play in this league next year.
It might not be ready for it.
But, I mean, that's your last five years.
You've had four first round picks.
They're all kind of right there.
And you mix in a little pospice.
and you bring in a couple other kids back and some trades.
Like there's a young, I don't want to say core emerging,
but there's a group of very young players here that I think are quite good players.
Is there a franchise player in there?
Probably not.
But I mean, this isn't like starting a rebuild like the sharks were,
where it was like, there's no kids.
We've been trading futures for the last decade,
and it's going to be painful and going to take a while.
It could be a fast-tracked reload here.
if these four first rounders,
rounders, Hansa, Coronado, Peltjezary
are going to be good players. And to be fair,
they'll look pretty good and you'll like
what you've seen in these very early, early days.
Well, and if Treloving hadn't
traded away a first for
to Foley and giving away
a first to get Monaghan out of here.
Traded a first.
This is my backpack.
Giordano stays, lose them for nothing,
easy first, and trading
with a first.
Yeah.
Now the good news is if they do what we think they're going to do, Red, they're going to be collecting more firsts.
Like you should be working your ass off to get at least a first for Hannafin, at least a first for Lindholm.
Okay. Now you're back to sea level with the Florida pick you gave away and the one to Montreal for Tafoli.
So, hey, it's just they're not starting at zero here, guys.
There are some kids.
They're not superstars.
But like, how can you see what Zerianposspso have done and not be impressed?
Even in Olivia, like, he was pretty darn good for a seventh rounder a couple of years ago.
Ret kind of scolded me last night,
and I deserve to be scolded.
I had said something along those lines.
I don't know if there's any of these kids
or, you know, there's probably no Hall of Famers in there.
He's like, hey, why are we putting ceilings on these guys?
Carter's Erie has joined the league and is a point per game.
Yeah.
Keep playing, son.
Looks like the best game.
Maybe you're an all-star.
Maybe you are a 30-goal guy.
We don't know.
How are we supposed to know?
I just think you're so used to, well, okay, we don't know.
don't have expectations.
Go play your balls off and be what you are.
There's a lot of guys that were either drafted later or not drafted
that come into the league and you don't expect anything from them.
This guy's a first drop pick.
Go ahead.
And I'm not suggesting that he's any of these guys,
but there's a lot of players between 20 and 40 that turn to great, great players in the city.
Ryan O'Reilly, second rounder,
Patrick Berser on second rounder played right out of the gate.
You know, like David Pasternak's a pick in the 20s.
He's maybe the most talented scorer in the league outside of Austin Matthews.
He's like, I'm not saying he's any of these guys, but when you're picking in that range,
those are the types of ceilings that are out there pretty regularly.
So like, let's hope there is one of those.
That would be incredible.
It'd be very good.
Hmm.
Trouble.
Oh, my God.
All right.
Let's take a look at the standings.
Costly win yesterday, fellas.
Jesus.
I thought, I thought there was more of a buffer here.
What the hell's going on?
What is this?
Minnesota?
What are you doing?
Wild.
What are the wild doing?
They've been hurt.
Spurgeon's back.
They had a Begosian.
Gustafson hasn't been a good net.
Your Russian buddy there hasn't been lights out.
My Russian buddy.
Caprizov?
Yeah.
Yeah, he's been, he's probably a point per game.
But yeah, not the start they wanted.
I don't like this list at all.
I thought Nashville would be way better than that.
Son of a bitch.
Costly win.
Right.
Jesus.
And they had a gold disallowed.
They could have.
I know.
I know.
Sellbound flames.
Poor manch can't buy one right now.
It seems got that call back on him.
It was offside.
It was offside.
Very trez offside.
Lindholm's trying to get traded, I guess.
Very much so.
Yeah.
Let's go to some former flames and NHL news.
Well, actually, hang on.
I got something else here first.
I've got some.
What else do I have?
Jack number five. I can't even read my own damn writing. What the hell's going on here?
Oh, it's Michael Backlens raised the money for ALS. This is one of his pet charities in Calgary.
He had custom skates at the Heritage Classic in Edmonton. These are up for auction.
We always crush guys and compliment guys based on their play, but these are humans that do do good things in our community.
So have a look at that on the Flames website.
And if you can't get the skates, come down and have some chicken things with some nuggets at Greta tomorrow.
There you go.
Details coming up.
A lot of yummy.
Okay, now we go to NHL news.
It is a big day in Vancouver.
Why friends?
Because Bo Horvatt returns to play his old club, the Canucks.
This is the conversation at our sister station,
Canucks Army in Vancouver, to boo or not to boo?
That is the question.
Boo Horvatt or Bo Horvatt?
Hmm.
Boo.
I think he's going to get the Johnny Kachukchuk
treatment and I was at both those games last year.
It is the rousing round of
applause followed by the booing when you touch the puck
in play. Yeah, that's really
because remember he also went to the
Islanders and did that on ice post game
interview. He's like, well, it's better Vancouver.
I'll tell you that for a day.
Vancouver. Can't stand Vancouver.
Vancouver. Well, and Bo saw some dysfunction
in his time there.
He saw the peak
Benning era.
He saw Travis
Green playing Elias Pederson on the fourth line.
he saw Oliver Ekman Larson come in
when they had one year left on that Louis Erickson thing
like both saw some shady decisions there
I get it it's actually impressive how quickly
Vancouver's survived all those things
back into relevant
speaking sets who the Flames will play next
former flame Yusovallamaki
one of the Daryl castoffs
bad news for him watch this play last night
where is he number four
yeah in front of the net
Oh
great in the face me boys
Oh in the pace
Blow the whistle get him off
That's gonna move here.
God.
You so bloody.
Dean.
Come on.
Another.
What?
Oh my God.
Thank you.
Here's the update post game.
I believe that this is what?
Craig Morgan.
Yeah, Craig Morgan covering the coyotes.
Don't have details, but it's going to be out for a while.
Hard shot to the face that cut him.
Not good.
Damn.
All right, we'll move on.
T's and P's, you so.
Yeah.
I always liked you, so.
Do we give up a first to let him go to?
No, we just let him go for nothing.
Should that be another, when we're talking about all these young guys,
would it be good to have?
Oh, he was a high drastic and you couldn't play him after he had knees completely
blown out and redone and between him and Shillington for Christ's sake.
Yeah.
Tees and peace to Oliver as well.
We're thinking about you, buddy.
come on back lots ice time for you allie especially after the deadline lots spots for d e over here come on back
how the fuck do you let you so valamaki go well i mean it's it was a darrell thing but the GM had to make
the move that's tough right waivers you let them rot you let them rot in the rafters
agreeing with me and i want to give you one of those yeah it's not a dare wayvers that wasn't a darrell thing
No, the GM doesn't have to trade him.
GM can say shove it, Darrell Sutter.
I get it, but then he sits in press box for how long?
A year?
Yeah, one.
So.
It's just that if there was a more functional relationship between GM and coaches,
doesn't happen.
That's what I'm saying.
You throw everything at one person's feet.
I just said the coach and the GM.
Yeah, but you didn't say coach at GM until I made you say the coach.
in the gym.
Well, Daryl did say you so shitty.
Darrell.
Yeah.
What was that for me?
Probably both of us.
Let's go to the American Hockey League.
We're Jack Campbell.
He's building his stock back up, fellas.
Just building the foundation.
As, oh, dear, 26.
And the baby flames.
You're not stopping a wranglers.
You're kidding me.
Oh, man.
Okay.
Well, let's get a little more.
Let's dig a little more.
What happened in the game?
What do we know?
Come on.
Oh, yes.
Look at this.
I'm sure a robust crowd at the dome.
Dean, were you there?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Did they do the dancing horse after the goals again?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, Jack Campbell, he's broken.
Well, let's see how broken.
Let's go to the stat line, Dean.
Again, we don't want to take pleasure in anyone's misfortune.
Oh, geez.
Five on 26.
Jack Campbell did you.
Like he can't, he's not even playing for the Oilers anymore.
Leave the poor bastard alone.
For Christ's sake, Pender.
Just trying to pump up Coronado's confidence because he had a night, friends.
That's double agent Jack Campbell, suering the Oilers and helping the flames.
Love to see it as Coronado is now in a bit of a heater.
Dino, bit of a heater.
Let's go, Coronado.
What a boy.
Three points last night.
Seven and five games.
That's over a point per game.
It's math on air, so we're going to grain assault there,
but boomer math saying it's over a point per game.
We'll get back to you after the show and tell you if that's accurate or not.
Okay, we'll move along.
Here's a collectible for you guys.
If you can get this card, hang on to it.
It's going to be worth a bit of money.
They're making two, two playing cards, I believe.
This is a Shohei and Babe.
Two versions of the card, one with them hitting, the other with them pitching,
both with autographs.
Get your pause on that, retro.
You can retire early.
Yeah, how do you get that?
I don't know how you get that.
I bet someone with a lot of money is going to get that.
Yeah, that's how that world works, isn't it?
Yeah.
All right.
Two, the NBA.
Used helmet.
I'll give you 20 bucks.
A rob ray.
Use bucket.
Is there like skin and teeth and hair caught in it?
Like a vehicle when it hits some roadkill.
Even your head, boom.
Knuckle shavings.
Yeah.
Okay, let's go to the NBA.
We had some, this is unusual for the NBA.
This is right off opening tip off.
I thought we were all pals here.
What's going on?
NBA.
Watch Draymond Green come in here.
He's like, yep, someone called me.
Ben Clay, this got out of hand very quickly.
So, geez.
Come on, Clay.
Ripping jerseys and then watch Draymond.
He's like, chokehold.
Your mind now.
Tap, tap, tap.
He's tapping.
Tap.
Tap.
No, it's not the full sleeper because he'd need the hand over the top.
That's more just, that's like a, that's just more of a chokehold.
Now, again, he doesn't have it sunk in very well here.
This is very, he's working.
He's in a crowd.
He's in a crowd. He's used to less space in the octagon.
You know, less, less crowd like the rear naked or. Yeah, he's.
Ooh.
Come on, Dremont. You're better than that.
You know who isn't better than that is James Hardin is a clipper.
Hmm. Still waiting. Oh, dear.
Oh, no. What's the team with Kauai? What do you mean your own five?
Well, and Jack said it was really going to work out. So what does Jack?
I know all for it.
Yeah. Let's go to the Jack cam. Jack. What do you? What's your.
feedback here on Hardin as a Clipper.
Yeah, I can have been more wrong on this one.
Certainly.
Just took the L.
I just took the L right like that quick, okay.
Lost one game since the trade and the Clipper 7 won a game.
Yeah.
Well, I'm glad you owned it, Jack.
We'll see if we can get Jack to take another L here because done for the year,
Deshawn Watson, who he's called the worst quarterback ever, the worst in the division.
He sucks.
Deshawn's the worst.
He's done for the year.
More details.
He was trying to play through.
It did play through parts of this injury before we finally got shut down.
Taking the needle a bunch here, fellas.
Multiple medical opinions.
Doctors clear if he got hit again in the same spot, the shoulder could fall apart.
Now surgery awaits his season's over.
Well, we know he did go and get a lot of massage done.
So I guess if that's not going to work, then you've got to go for surgery, which is unfortunate.
Dean?
Oh, my God.
What do you think?
I already Jack knows the answer so he can't answer.
What do you think Deshaun's record is this year as a starter for Cleveland?
Oh, five and three.
They're hanging around.
Well, has he played that enough, like, I don't even know how many games he's got into.
Five and one.
Yeah.
What?
Because he hasn't looked good, but then they're winning.
And the defense is really the story here.
Yeah, the defense is a story.
And the only reason I was going to say is I know that, like, Amari Cooper.
when Watson is playing, just in fantasy,
he's been very good.
There are some guys that,
as much as Watson is what he is,
there's some guys that are so much better
than when he's not there.
You know what?
Really good guy.
You hate to see it.
We're a day away from Thursday night football fellas.
It's an AFC North Tangle,
which means Jack's invested.
He hates all these guys.
It's not his Steelers.
It's not stinking to Sean or whoever's left.
Thompson.
what's the Thompson something or other Thompson McClaught Thompson Thompson McClaugh and PJ Walker.
But here we are.
Thompson twins.
Jeez, that's a blast in the past.
Shit, what are the Thompson?
This could be a good game.
This could be a good game.
Oh, me.
Fuck, I'll Google it.
This could be.
This will be a good.
What are you talking about?
Could be.
This should be an excellent game.
It is Thursday.
So the whole thing hanging over it is,
that even good games turn into shitty games on Thursday.
No, no, it's not true.
There's less good games on Thursday because there's been some bad line or bad match.
I knew it was hold me now.
Hold me now.
Oh, my heart.
Stay with me.
I knew it.
Nicely done.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, hold me now.
That is mid-80s.
Hot summer night radio airplay, Saskatoon.
Saskatchewa right there.
Boom.
May have had to bang a few of those out on
Moose FM and Fort St. John, Thompson Twins.
1984.
That is mid-80s.
Nailed it, Red. Nailed it.
Jack, can we go to the Jack Cam and get instant analysis
and preview for the Thursday night football
AFC North matchup?
We need the Jack Cam.
I don't want any.
We need the Bengals to win.
So then when the Steelers beat the Browns,
they will be first in the division.
Oh, my God.
So I'll be rooting for the Bengals.
Nice.
And you'll be a Greta.
Will you be a Greta?
Yes, I will.
Nice.
He's going to be involved with a live stream that we're doing for Betway.
I heard that.
Yes.
We're going to have the Nug cam and the jack cam going at the same time.
That's right.
You ever watch to see a man's nugget says, okay.
Let's move along.
That's almost it for football.
The bills, though.
The bills aren't done yet.
Go ahead.
I worry about the pills.
Move on.
We're past the football.
bills the bills are shit.
If they start winning, it can be like
Jack and we can get up back on the bandway.
No, Rhett, there's an easy win against
the Jets coming up. I told you week one.
They were going to split with the Jets. Don't sweat it.
Billy's a tough matchup. Okay, let's call
that a coin toss. Casey,
uh-huh. Dallas, that's right around
the time of year they collapse every year.
Chargers guaranteed W. You're going to split
with the Patriots because you lost the first one.
And then you got the last one of the year against
Miami. Perfect. No sweat. You're in.
We'll move past the bills.
We don't want to.
Some sort of sour.
And while Ken Dorsey's gone,
Matt Canada's not,
despite Jack's lobbying on a daily basis.
The Steelers are 27th in scoring and 30th in yards,
and Matt Canada still has a job.
That is a great tweet.
Like, you have to, for people that aren't,
the bills are fourth in scoring and second in yards,
They just fired their offensive coordinator.
The Steelers are 27th and 30th.
Their OC is still employed.
It's terrific.
We can't do it until the Steelers season is ruined and over,
but we will take every single Matt Canada meme and or tweet that Jack has sent me
over the past three months, two months, and make a full Matt Canada show.
It is incredible the amount of.
Is there anywhere he can go in Pittsburgh?
Pittsburgh.
They didn't have like a Saturday morning college football game day and like Des Moines and people are chanting fire Matt Canada.
Like you should see the crap jack cam sending me all the time.
Hey, can you run out and get some milk?
No, I cannot.
No, sir.
No chance.
I can dial up a three yard bubble pass though.
Let's finally, a couple kickers for you.
We start with, well, we love them.
It's been a while since we've had them.
We had a really, really nice anthem fail in Buffalo last night, fellas.
The true north strong and free.
Oh, Canada, we stand our eyes.
We stand on God for thee.
God keep our land, glorious and free.
Oh, Canada,
We stand on God for the...
Yeah.
Was there an arrive?
Did he throw an arrive in there?
Arise.
We arise for the...
Yeah, the arrive can app.
The true north strong and free.
Oh, Canada, we stand arise.
We stand on God.
Oh, I do like the dad.
We stand the dad.
on God.
That's a good kid right there.
He's like, the kid said,
this guy fucked up, Dad.
Dad, those aren't the words.
He just came down from Hamilton.
This guy's shit.
There's two good people right there.
I like those two guys.
We stand, all right?
We stand to rise.
We stand.
All right.
I.
I.
I.
I,
so thank you for that Buffalo.
And Jack was asking about why this thing
in the Canadian
Anttham anyway. There's no Canadian team playing the Sabres.
Rhett?
Half the crowds from Canada.
A lot of Southern Ontario right there.
Hence the, we can't have two teams in
Toronto. In Southern Ontario
because they'll steal all the pants from
Hamilton. Hamilton has
thought to be a front runner for an expansion team
way back in the 90s. That got
caoed because there was thought that
might kill the Sabers.
Okay.
How much would you sell
would a
say Hamilton
had a new arena and they had back in the conversation and the Leafs and it was a possibility.
What is that franchise value?
I mean, the expansion fee is going to be north of a billion and it'll be worth more than that.
In that area, Gary's not taking a billion for that.
Two?
Yeah.
Yeah.
What it probably would be is your expansion fees a billion and then you're going to have to pay some sort of a while there's rules against this,
uh, 200 million for the Sabres, 400 million for the Leafs.
Like something like that.
And probably still a good deal.
Probably, yeah.
No, seriously.
If it was a good rank, yeah.
You only need another billion to build a rank, right?
$6,000.
Yeah, $1 million.
It's a $2 million play.
No big deal.
$3.5 billion.
Look at your team in Southern Ontario.
Rhett, when you're hungry, you get a little grumpy.
And we've got two.
It's true.
So we've got a before and after.
We've got the when you were hungry.
And then we have the video of when you're not hungry.
much a better mood you're in. So we'll start with hungry
Rhett. This is
embarrassing. And I don't know if you've talked to authorities about this
yet. Red.
I'm with him.
Right there.
I'm going to grab your head, grab me that bag and fries right there.
Yeah, back right there.
Both fans.
Both of a stupid fucking son come in for three months.
He's stupid fucking whore.
Oh.
Come on.
I missed that at the end, but he wanted fries.
Hmm.
I think he called her a whore.
Oh, jeez.
That's how I talked to the shoveler prior to when he said that.
Not a little.
So what's going on?
So what's our story there?
What's the background?
And we got to put this together.
Why are you not in the car?
I'm trying to do that, that intermittent fasting in some days.
It doesn't go well.
Just.
Yeah.
I thought you were
He wants fries
I thought you were on the carnivore diet
Well once you once you break you break
Is that what it is?
You're out of ketosis so you're fuck
It's less about what you're eating
It's the fact that I couldn't make it
It's full 18 hours
Yeah
He's he's pro protein
And this is Rhett later when he's
To calm down a little
Yeah
Because that's a very pro
This is protein rich
Don't show me this
What the
This is fucking
Oh no guys
Don't worry
I wouldn't show you that
He's not gonna
He's not going to Dean don't Dean look he's not doing Dean it's not even happening take a look take a look
Dean it's over you can look now you can look Jack is it done it's done you can look
than the head cheese when I showed him the head cheese that's that's that's your Pinder
boy see how much of a better mood right you're in when you're eating I'm very brave
They're that.
You know, we were all having fun with the fry guy, right?
We were all having some laughs there.
We were having a good time.
And then you had to go and do that.
Sure.
It's the Pinder report.
Brought to you by Village Honda,
huge selection of used vehicles,
all makes, all the models, all budgets.
70 units on site, maybe more.
I mean, they had their used car clear out last week,
maybe less, but I mean, it's,
when you have access to over 400 within the dealer group,
you don't need to worry.
Village Honda, your one-stop automotive destination in Calgary.
They are worth the trip.
Village Honda located in the Northwest Automol and proud sponsors, I'm sure, of the Pinder
record.
I think it was egg.
That's what the dip was.
It was just yoke.
Tomorrow night, we saw what were the match up with Alex?
What was?
Tomorrow night, we're going to be at Greta.
We're going to be hanging out, watching the football.
game watching the hockey game having some drinks,
having some drinks, cabin some eats. We are going to be
doing a live stream. So the game's going to be
on, but we're going to be providing our own
hilarious commentary. A t-he-haha
kind of thing. And Ryan Pinder
is finally going to make good on his nugget
eating bet. He needs to eat
42 chicken nuggets
to pay off a bet between
the two of us from a number of years ago
and it's all going to take place tomorrow
at Greta.
There is. High kicks. Let's go.
Stretching the hammies.
Red and I had a little.
little bit of discussion last night on afterburner just about how this is going to go.
Yeah.
How is it going to go?
You'll be very happy to know that our friend with the long arms has a lot of faith in you.
Good.
I don't know how this is going to go.
This isn't something where I'm like, oh, I remember a time when I did.
I don't know.
I don't know if I've got skills.
There's a 100% chance of success.
You are a, you're a committed.
man, you're committed to your trade, you're committed to your ego, you're committed to your
whatever, your attention, you love attention, this is another one. There is zero chance you fail at this.
He thinks that maybe you're kind of a, you're a sneaky eater that you'll be able to actually
put this away and that you just don't like to lose. You would not want me to beat you at anything.
I'm competitive. Yeah. Yeah. You're a competitor.
If there were rules to this, such as a time period, you know what I mean?
Then I would have some hesitation.
But this open policy, no way.
Okay, but that said, what time are you going to?
The game starts at what, seven tomorrow?
The 615 is kick off for the NFL game.
And we're inviting people sort of like 530 to 6 to arrive to get settled, get some nugs in
you.
And then we got two, two games to watch.
but I think we should probably start the nugget eating with drop.
Is that fair?
Yeah, I think.
So there isn't a time limit, but there is kind of a period there that starts at about seven.
And we'll end.
I mean, how long are you planning on staying?
I don't know how long it takes to eat 42 nuggets, but my plan is to eat them until they're gone.
Is this 40 minutes?
Is this two and a half hours?
I don't know.
Huh.
One a minute feels brisk.
I'll tell you that.
I say you.
commit to getting through 30.
And then you can start to pick.
See how you feel at 30?
Yeah.
Move on from there.
Do you bring them, and this is the other thing,
are you staggering them so that they're fresh?
Do you want,
I don't know that I need a,
do you need the visual of all of them on the table to kind of be able to
mentally pace yourself?
Shed.
I don't know.
And this is where I feel like I've dropped the ball.
Now, we still have tomorrow's show,
but I feel like we need to talk to a competitive eater.
We need someone that could be like, here are the do's and don'ts of ramming a lot of food into you.
Pinder, these are not your people.
I'm not saying they are, but maybe there's two tips.
I've been around them.
These are not your people.
Like drink five liters of water in the morning, expand your stomach, and then you're good.
I need a tip.
I need some sort of a plan here.
I've been around these people.
These are not your people.
Here's the thing.
I think you do do it because you'd rather, it's like an argument.
You'll fight right to the friggin' death.
So rather than lose, you'll puke, you'll eat your puke, you'll keep eating chicken.
It'll be like that.
I'm not eating my pew.
I'm sorry.
Can't lose.
Must win.
But that's your puke, Fender.
I don't care.
Must win.
I think a puke probably makes it nell.
If I have to heave, it's over and that's a loss that I have to wear and take to my grave with me.
I just think you should make sure you have a lot of beer.
and a lot of fluids to go along with them.
Not too much, though.
So that it doesn't get dry.
Once you get dry and cut of cotton mouth, it'll be very difficult.
Lots of beer.
And, uh, we are going to live stream it.
So if you want, we will have the Nug cam live starting at PuckDrop.
You can have the flames on your television at home on one screen and the Nug cam and the
jack cam on a separate broadcast.
Do we have the technology for the Nug ticker?
So if somebody just kind of drops in, they can see whereabouts you're at?
Yeah.
I think we need to talk to RJ about that.
Jack, do you think we have the capabilities for a Nug ticker?
Yes, I think we do.
But it won't be me that make it.
No, no, you just understand.
It might just be me with like a paper.
14.
Dean's in some coconut shell bikini top holding up the sign numbers.
Hey.
41.
So this really sounds like something you want to.
to be a part of, doesn't it?
Yeah, you can be there, you can watch it home.
Whatever it is. Somehow it's not a ticketed event and it's free of charge for whoever wants to come.
You need to be 18, right?
You've got to be 18 years of age, I believe.
To get into Greta, yes.
Yeah.
213, 10th Avenue Southwest, Greta bar.com.
And Casey and the folks at Greta, they also threw in the, uh, at the end of that video
there that, uh, eaten, eaten nugs raising money for the ALS society in, uh, in memory and
in honor of Chris Snow.
So how about that?
a nugget. Love it.
Eating for a good cause.
So that's 10 bucks from me alone.
How money are you going to have, fat boy?
I assume you're talking to me.
Do they have mice?
I might do 10.
I might get an order.
Sacrifice yourself a little bit, raise some money.
20.
Yeah, come on now.
I might do 20.
20 at least.
We'll see how it goes.
can we can we possibly bring you in at some point during the stream just for a live look in from wherever you are if you're on your phone or whatever just to kind of get you caught up to what's uh to what's happening at greta i'll be on my couch there you go

Love it.
I got an email last night, Rhett.
I don't get email.
Not in your phone at least.
Where are you?
There is.
I'll need my glass.
Are you worried?
No, not at all.
I was very happy.
Jesus.
So last night, we were discussing on Afterburner.
We had the little question period afterwards,
and somebody had asked,
what if we put Jonathan Huberdow in the in the press box?
What if we make him a healthy scratch?
Do you think that would have any, would that be any good?
And what was your answer, Rhett?
What did you say?
Just embarrassing them and it's not going to change anything.
Yeah.
And then I said, you know, all that's going to do is it's going to exacerbate the situation.
That's right.
And I said, that's a pretty good, pretty good word.
That's a big word.
You know who emailed me?
Peter Klein from McLeod Law.
No way.
From Peter Klein from McLeod Law.
Sorry, watching on the TV.
So no chat opportunity.
Exacerbate.
Nice.
Most people say exasperate.
So you're ahead of 80% of the population.
And then he goes into, by the way,
exacerbate means to worsen something temporarily.
If it is a permanent worsening,
then it's an aggravation.
Consider the following example.
Boomer, putting Huberto in the press box, will exacerbate the situation.
Rhett, I think it will aggravate the situation.
This would make him permanently worse on this team at least.
You're welcome.
No charge, Peter.
What about Pete?
Didn't even run the meter.
I love the no charge.
Keeping us in line.
Can you make it right?
Quality control.
No charge.
Peter Glyde.
Exacerbate?
It's going to exact.
exacerbate the situation, Ryan, if you put Hubert-O in the press box.
What's it going to accomplish?
It's only going to worsen things temporarily, which is exactly the point I was making.
Or permanently.
Or per which would be to aggravate the situation.
Either would have applied.
I don't, long story short, it's not going to help in any way.
In other words, we are very lawyerly.
We are very lawyerly.
You're fluent in legalese.
We're very
A lot,
O'Roy.
DoorDash,
get your door to dash.
Be a great night for DoorDash.
Is there a night that isn't good for DoorDash?
Not sure there is, Dean.
Just nights when did it, why?
Because, you know, you're busy.
You get home.
What did you make for dinner?
I didn't make anything.
You take anything out of the freezer?
No, I didn't.
Well, what are we going to do?
Are we just going to not eat?
Got eat.
Guys got to eat.

Makes me wonder what's on the menu tonight with DoorDash.
fellas we're going to have our eyes in Alberta on the Oilers and Cracken two divisional foes with the Calgary Flames and a Seattle club that the Flames have seen once already they'll be back in Seattle right away here so a little scouting there we'll also see if this new Dugie Houser coach is any good or not I guess I don't know he's your buddy
buddy to be strong I think he's a nice guy why is he Dougie Hauser he's young and talented and very smart well doogie was a doctor as a teenager I mean
So was a box, wasn't he?
Oh, I thought he was a doctor as a teenager.
They didn't have a show about him?
He's from him.
My bad.
That's a 6.30 start, fellows.
Oilers are your favorite at home.
I'll hear more about that in my Betway bets of the day.
And your other option, if you're not into watching the Oilers,
whether it's another fall on your face or a resurgence of theirs,
you might be a hooper and a dimer like Red is.
And he'll be watching Milwaukee at Toronto.
The Raptors have already beat the box once this year.
bucks favored again that a 530 tip off that's what's on the menu for door dash there you go door dash
don't forget nation 25 is the promo code that gets you 25% off and the zero delivery fees on your
first order of $15 or more dash that for the win with door dash door dash door dash yeah my assistant coach murf jj's old
It's his joke about his wife's cooking.
Every morning he wakes up and asks for a meal and his meal.
Honey, can you make some of that door dash?
Does it get funnier than more times he tells that joke?
Or does it sort of a lot of one of those ones where you just keep repeating?
Oh, my God.
You're hilarious, George.
We've set a new shovel record today.
I'm quite excited about this.
I kind of forget I have it here.
sitting right here. I look at it all the time.
You mentioned Betway. Yeah, you mentioned Betway.
Betway Betts. Betway bets. Betway bets. Betway app.
Get the Betway app on your phone. Bet the responsible way with Betway? Why wouldn't you?
Oh, are we going to have the Betway app homing tomorrow night?
Thursday night football.
Flames hockey.
A little bet way for it tonight. Let's take a look at our Betway bets.
You mentioned Doogie and the Oilers.
I think they're going to stretch their legs here a little bit. They're feeling
good. They get a win. I don't think Seattle's great.
Oilers minus one and a half paid the other night. I think it pays again two or more plus
125 as the crack and visit the Edmonton Oilers.
The other game, it is Boo Horvatt. I don't think the Islanders are great.
I think Vancouver's, I mean, they're not going to win every game, but I think they win this game.
Minus one and a half there as well, plus 150. I'm going above.
I'm doing plus money on both tonight. And I think,
I think very good, very good opportunity.
opportunity on both of these guys.
A little overlap on my picks as well,
Dino. I also have the Oilers minus
one and a half. I think they're going to roll for a bit
here. They're not perfect, but they're
better than they've looked and they've got that
fresh air. They're breathing. And Connor
that they rush back too soon for the outdoor game,
finally starting to look more like himself.
I also have the Bo Horvatt peak drama
in Vancouver scoring against its old club. That's plus
175 because, you know,
the hockey gods like to chortle
now and then. They chortle?
Do they think of fall?
Oh, ha ha ha ha.
Yeah.
Boer a vet.
Yeah.
It's course.
Against his all team.
There's a tree.
Why doesn't Rhett get a bet?
Brett, you want to do, you should do a bet.
When you're leading the football picks, the weekly football picks, and you know your business,
you focus on the things you can be successful.
Yeah.
Right.
Right.
So only so much free advice he can give before he starts with.
the fee.
Yeah.
And worry about your team,
Tree.
Worry about me.
Yeah.
Get your shit together.
You can talk to D Tree,
but Brett's a little old for you.
You can probably find some younger D to talk to right now.

At betterhelp.com slash Flames Nation and get started.
Get on your way to being your best self.
What is therapy?
So if you're going to go into therapy,
well, what is it?
How does it work? A lot of us guys, we have no idea. That's what it comes down to. And it's not that
we don't want to feel better or get better. It's just hard to know. Well, here's where BetterHelp
comes in because it's entirely online and all of it is really kind of taking care for you.
You fill out this brief questionnaire. And I've taken a look at it. You fill out the questionnaire.
And then based on your answers and the info, they connect you and get matched with a licensed therapist based on
those answers and just what it is that's going on.
If you don't feel right with that therapist,
you can switch at any time for no additional charge,
but it's that fit that's really going to help you get on your way.
You identify what the challenges are,
start to go through things,
which is where it starts,
but it's more than that.
Once you kind of identify what it is,
then you put strategies in place and coping skills
and little things to kind of help you deal with the challenges as they arrive
and then even get in front of them.
Before those things come up,
you can recognize that they're coming and kind of steer yourself clear with any luck.
So it's a great, it's a great fit.
Make your brain your friend, which makes me laugh because I, you feel half the time.
It's like, which, uh, hey brain, which team are you on?
Are you with, are you with me or who are you doing here?

That's HELP.com slash flames nation.
you'll get the 10% off your first month and get on your way to feeling better.
Awesome.
We would encourage you to do it.
It's okay to feel good.
It's okay to,
and it's okay to want to be good.
It's not just be miserable.
We deserve it.
Don't we?
Yes, we do.
What a day tomorrow.
Oh, you know, I know it's a lot.
You know what we got tomorrow?
Thomas Hickieke.
Calgarian, former.
first round pick of the LA Kings, former defense with the New York Islanders, going to be on the
program. The Islanders are coming to town on the weekend. So we'll talk to Hicks. He's doing some
broadcast work for the aisles. He's a fan of a friend of old Deepers, our pal. So we got that lined
up. And between those two things, getting drafted by the Kings and playing for the Islanders,
there's a full novel in there. That was quite a journey to go from high pick to regular NHL or we'll
chat with them about that tomorrow. Well, Wax and I were always trying to get him to Calgary.
we were always trying to tell the flames to get them here
despite our considerable sway
and you know it's just never worked out
so oddly enough
oddly enough yeah
um
sure you're getting more
more deliveries
Jesus
says the season Rhett
max out those cards
it's not even American Thanksgiving yet
now that's kind of ties into the season there doesn't it
what is that next week
Yes, next Thursday, boy, it's going to be...
Do we have a plan at all?
Are we going to have some fun, do something stupid?
I have a plan.
I'm not working, so...
Okay.
We have a plan.
That's fair.
I'm so fat and stuffed.
What time is kickoff?
There are multiple kickoffs.
I will check right now, but I know it's what.
Denver, Dallas, and Detroit.
The first one's what?
1030.
Packers, Lions.
Oh, short show next.
week short show you can mix in maybe one of those uh betway live streams instead of the show
yeah we're going to show today but uh watching them with us it kind of feels like you guys are
just watching the football game what yeah instead oh what oh yeah uh get the bitway up what is the
early game.
Packers Lions.
It's always, it's always,
it's always lions and cowboys
are the annuals and then they rotate the others
through. All right.
And then it's Washington at Dallas.
That feels like afternoon siesta
blowout written all over it.
Nightcap could be
good. San Francisco at Seattle.
Those divisional games always
a little tighter than they look. I don't love the slate.
Who cares?
That's a football on a Thursday and
you've got an excuse to make some great
food. Don't over analyze here. There's the nights we bitch, Monday nights we bitch, the odd Sunday
on Thanksgiving Thursday. It don't matter. The games are watching you. The football's watching
you by the fourth quarter of the first game. Right. You go on with low expectations. You can't
do anything but win. We're just happy this football. I don't even care about the teams. It is. I love to cook,
but I also love to eat and not have to do anything. Thanksgiving down here with all the
old Italian ladies that
help chip in.
Oh, it is next level.
I might be
going to be dialed in.
Oh, yes.
I might be doing a kitchen show next week.
It's not a bad idea.
Last time you did it, you were great,
I was great.
People have been copying you.
I saw Jean Principate trying to pull your act.
It wasn't the same.
Yeah, I know.
Yeah.
No one's ever done any kind of video in the kitchen.
No, never.
Apron on TV. Never.
So yeah, tomorrow, Thomas Hickey and a game day and we'll be.
Askrette and Nuggets and Greta and chicken nuggets and football.
Live stream.
Live streaming.
NBA jamming.
Can you, so can you explain to what the live stream is?
Well, our pals of that way, we do a bunch of live streams with them throughout the course of the year.
And it's basically just a hang-o.
We're not going to show you the game.
we're not rights holders.
We're not allowed to do that.
But we're going to hang and watch the game with you and talk about the game.
You and I did one, Dino, for the outdoor game at Edmonton.
And basically, we all react and ride the roller coaster together.
Watch people's stomachs go into their chests.
And you were there for like 10 minutes.
I'm sorry.
For three hours, you were there.
Yes.
We can ride the Zedorov roller coaster together on Thursday while we watch football and eat nuggets.
And for those people, and I see you, clamoring for more Jack.
And more of the Jack cam, you'll get your fill tomorrow.
find him on only fans
do you have how is that going jack
are you making a lot of money
it's not doing well boys oh
as i hear some people are doing really well with it
well what i think you gotta promote it
have you gone topless
uh
give the people what they want jack
you just got a petershee kind of thing or what are you got going on
i'll throw a big 20 on that if you get your feet up
well i know pindra will be topless tomorrow he'll have
the meat sweats going.
They'll be half of the bag from drinking all the beer to wash that down.
Yeah, that all puked all over my clothes.
Yeah, good times.
Safe travels, Pinder.
We'll see you tomorrow.
Big day tomorrow.
Looking forward to it.
See you, buddies.
