For the longest time, as recently as November, I have spoke at elevated volumes about these guys. What they've always done is what they're always going to do. They're going to resign that. I don't really, because you talk about July 1, I don't really have any concern about July 1. I don't either. Hell's coming here. In some ways, you've got, you made the Strom deal. So that's a, there's a veteran.

You got three centers. Depending on what you do with Coleman. Like, he's a veteran. guy. Nothing's a veteran guy. I don't really have a great fear that they're going to go big game hunting or do something.

He wants to summer off. He's got to figure it out. Unless there is some pressure, hey, we're better than we thought we could turn this on. I hope not. Offer sheets. I think there will be that pressure

at some point, but it's not. It's not now, right? And to be fair, like, I would understand if there's pressure from an organization the first year in a new building, that's not next year. Yeah. If they're going to do something dumb July 1, it's in two years.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I don't have a lot of concern. And to be fair, like they've got way too many forwards in D. Like you don't have holes to fill. You've got too many middle of the roster players all over. Like if they're healthy on wingers, they've got enough for two teams, it feels like. Okay. So what's our thoughts on Coleman?

I think they bring them back. Because we're stacked like you said with wingers. We got a plethora, Dean, plethora of wingers. word. And I've said, and I, it remains the same to me. If Blake wants to be moved in the offseason, so he can have his four children and family get settled in the summer and then I think they would try and indulge him that. Other than that, yeah, he comes back. Yeah. And you let him play because he's been great.

Can I ask a life question actually? Please do. I'm all over the map. You're great. As an athlete, we're going to applaud his commitment to our team. And I'm talking about Blake Coleman. Back and forth, new baby ends up in frickin' Seattle in place. But as a father, I'm going, why don't you just stay home? It's game 79. It does not matter. I guess it's, you know, two-sided.

I'll be home in a week. I know. But we've got nannies, your mom's here. If it was gay, I don't know. I see both sides. I do, too. There's no answer. It's not even.

It's more of an observant. of... I would be a lot more sour if he scored two goals and they beat Seattle because that was a big game to not... But you're talking life. I'm just talking life. I mean, it is quite something because, yes,

we are applauding him, but there would be a portion of society that'd be like, you're an asshole. Weren't you home? This is nothing. That's important. And to Dean's point,

it's like in a week, I'll be around for the next three months, four months. For sure, but two more days. I'm not saying he had to spend, I'm not saying anything. I'm just casually kind of conversation. It's like, yeah, we applaud.

And for great reason, it's like, holy, what, that's, I guess that's in a meaningless. That's the pro, the pro sport world. It is. For sure. And again, there are certain circumstances that this is Dr. Stanley Cup. This is not your first game. This is your 890th.

I don't have a clue what it is. For being honest, it's two, it's three meaningless games at the end of the loss. in the first team. And I'm not even talking about skipping all of them. Yeah. I'm saying, what's the rush to get to Seattle? You could have been in Calgary on Sunday even or today. There you got lots of bodies.

That's fair. Like, Pospisals, like there's guys that aren't playing that could be playing if you're not there. Yeah. It's not like Blake, we're down to 11 forwards. We need you. No, it's not that. Anyway. The focus will obviously as much as, or as little as these games mean, the whole

big picture conversation will start later in the week, next week, that sort of thing. Well, by Thursday night, we'll know what their percentages are for the lottery. And there's still some lots to figure out there. They could fall out of the bottom five, which would be bad, bad, bad. They can get out of the bottom five now?

They can pass Toronto. Careful boys. The Rangers are below them now. So they're fourth from them. We're fourth now. And the Leafs, uh, I thought they had the road or the row. These are three out.

It's the final NHL game for Jonathan Quick. It has been announced. Really? Yeah. It's a hell of a career. Hell of a career. Hell of a career. I think we thought he was cooked.

And then he went to New York after Vegas, because Vegas was kind of out of the blue. And you're like, well, that was a nice swan song. He gets a ring or whatever. I think was that the other other ring? And it was like, wow, that'd be a cool way to wrap it up. And then he's been very good as in a limited role as a backup behind Schisturkin's. Great spot to be for.

Hell yeah. American guy playing Broadway for the last few years, respectable. That's respectable. it's the mayor isn't it like these numbers you just pop I know I know and that's when it's annoying when ah we're overstressing
