Barn Burner We do have breaking news this morning. Ryan Pike. I guess I could have done the Pike bomb. Blake Coleman has been put on the IR. That per the Calgary Flames. So he's noting no cap relief, but it opens up a roster spot so we could expect to recall. Dry and hunt, pack your bags.

Oh, God, can't wait. Visit Matt Van Gridden time. It's a top nine spot. They didn't want him coming in to play fourth line minutes. This is not that. We've seen many a young player come in and play on one of Backlands's flanks and learn the craft. That's a good question. William Stromgrin, I don't feel is destined for top nine minutes in the NHL in this career necessarily.

Jesus, you're really throwing him out. Like you were all about William Strzondon and now of a sudden is terrible. I'm just saying? Yeah, maybe he's a third line. That's great. Maybe he's not an NHL? We don't know. It's early.

Matt Vigrind's trajectory is very different. He's having an historic 19-year-old season in the American league. Actually, historic or is the Pinder history? Well, I mean, it's quite good. Yeah, he's having a good season. He's having a very, very... I agree. But the historic's like, I know.

I mean, he's got like 50 now? He was on pace to have one of the best U-20 seasons in the history of the HL earlier this year. So how many of the U-20s have been? Not a lot. Stromgren is currently on the fourth line.

You have Adam Klapka on the third line. If Stromgren isn't moving needle for the coach, based on his minutes might suggest at this point, he can go to the rafters, Klapka back to the fourth line, and you slide Gurdin into your top nine. Even with Frost and Zeri, like that's, a line that's got some offensive panash in terms of skills.

Not like they're having monster years, but you have high offensive IQ hockey players you could put to it with them. I guess I'm curious for the team. Would they be looking to kind of style for style? Yes, they've said that. It's a quote, so we need a Coleman-esque player to replace. That's what I mean.

Yeah, I don't know. See, that's an interesting point because I don't know who would be the trustee checking winger to come up. Brett Sutter. he's coaching. But, but, right? Like is it, is Rory Cairns or Dryden Hunt? What I, the more I think about it,

the more I think you put players with Backland, and that'll be your responsibility line, and you would put Gridden with one of the other two centers who are more adept at creating offense than defending. Well, I mean, hey, it's, it's not great news. I think it is. It's not great news, but it's great for somebody coming up. Great news for them.

They've continued to say they don't want to recall Gridden and have him play the types of minutes that they don't think is what he's going to be. They want to put him in a spot. Well, you can just play him, you dusters. Jesus Christ. So now you have an absence in your top nine. Right. I want to play him on the fourth.

Don't play him on the fourth line then. And that's why they've recalled them. Because the guys they've recalled, they've played on the fourth line. I don't like your attitude today. You haven't eaten for like 40 hours. It might not be me. It's playing both sides of the fence. It's been all over these guys.
