So what is the thing that I'm talking about?
The thing I'm talking about is getting in shape and having abs.
I've realized that in life, fitness is this magical advantage that you can get over everyone else.
Like if all things being equal, same level of intelligence, same level of money, you have the same
level of opportunity, you have the same level of network.
And then one guy is, you know, pudgy, dad bod out of shape.
And the other guy is fit, lean, athletic has abs.
The fit, lean athletic guy with abs is going to have more money, more meaning, better purpose,
less depression, more happiness, joy, fulfillment.
And, and just a fucking like a 10 out of.
a 10 on his arm. You know what I mean? That's just that's just the realities. Now you can argue with me all you
want. You can you can say yeah but but but the reality is and you know this that when you are fit
you become a very different type of person. When a fit dude walks into a room, he immediately gets
attention. And not only does he get attention, he gets recognition. And not only does he get
recognition, he gets respect without opening his mouth, a dude who's fit, who looks jacked,
who looks athletic, immediately gets attention, recognition, and respect.
And so that already gives you an advantage in a room of, let's say, investors,
in a room of people who can be potential business partners, right?
Or in a room full of, let's say, honeys who could be a future misses.
So think about that.
There is no pill that's going to give you that level of confidence and consistency,
focused discipline and all that stuff.
But when you work out and you go from a dad bod or from a dude,
who's shaped like a pear or a pumpkin to a dude who is shaped like a like an adonis where you have abs
you have arms you have shoulders you have pecks you have you have tree trunks for thighs and no one has
to be that jacked but there's nothing wrong with you being the healthy most athletic lean version of
yourself right where one when you're healthy lean and athletic and you have visible abs that tells me
that your health is actually a good place you're not going to be a liability to you're
your family. And let's face it, study after study also proves that when someone is healthy and in
shape, athletic, and is lean enough where they have visible abs, all of their biometric
markers are healthy, cholesterol, blood pressure, heart rate, and massive reduction in chances of
dementia, cancer, depression, right? And so this is a lot of, and so this.
is like the number one way to prevent yourself from being a liability anyway on humanity on your
family like no no no dude is like man I can't wait for my kids to have to you know go in debt to keep me
in a hospital or to set up an early funeral and so you and I owe it to our families number one
number two in business business is a battlefield if you want to succeed in business surprise surprise
the higher your level of confidence and consistency and focus and discipline to the
the more you can delay gratification and more energy you can have, the better.
Working out on a consistent basis, eating in a way where you fuel your body to stay lean and have
energy and build lean muscle and burn off fat, all those things build the traits that are required
to build a successful business, aren't they?
Imagine that.
You can build a successful business just like you can build a beautiful body that's healthy,
that's going to last a long time, that's going to be durable as you get older.
I'm 50 years old.
And thank God, I've been working out most of my life.
Now, have I had periods of time where I've gained 20, 30 pounds because I lost discipline
because I was stressed and overwhelmed, especially in the times of building FitBody Boot Camp
back in 2010, 11, 12?
Dude, I was still working out, but I wasn't really getting after it.
My meals were certainly not dialed in.

that I would eat bagels every night.
And I'm not talking like one bagel.
I would eat three, four, five bagels every night.
And I dip it in Philadelphia cream cheese.
Like we're talking like eight, nine, ten o'clock at night.
Because I would emotionally eat.
I would stress eat.
I was in debt building a business.
I was in debt trying to figure things out.
I didn't know how to manage my time and organize my schedule
and what kind of people I need to build this international franchise.
and the business was growing faster than I imagined,
and it was costing me more than I ever thought it would.
And no matter how many franchises we would get on board,
I still found myself putting out more money than I was bringing in.
But instead of managing all that stress properly,
I ended up emotionally eating, stress eating, right?
And so there's been times in my life where I've gotten out of shape.
But I've never stopped working out.
I would put on fat,
And then I would realize, oh shit, dude, you don't look like a guy who represents a fitness franchise.
You don't look like a guy who could walk into a room and command attention and get respect.
You don't look like a guy that someone with money and with access to opportunities would want to be a business partner with.
Get your ass back in shape.
And as I would dial in my diet and I would dial in my training, all of a sudden, stress,
would come down, anxiety would come down, depression would come down, I'd have more energy,
I'd be more focus.
And I'm telling you this because the thing that helped me overcome the stress hitting,
emotional eating, and the yo-yo weight gain was when I went and worked with Kevin Downing
my therapist.
Like the reality was, it wasn't the stress of business and the financial debt that I was in
in the beginning phases of building Fit Body Boot Camp that put me in a place of wanting
to stress eat and emotionally eat and then, you know, end up putting on 25, 30 pounds
only to take, you know, six months, eight months to get that off.
What got me there was I hadn't dealt with the traumas that I had experienced.
I haven't talked about it for a while, but many of you know that I've been sexually abused
as a kid, physically abused as a kid, beaten, bullied, and sexually abused, that leaves a lot
of mental and emotional scars on you, man. And when you show up as an adult and you're trying
to lead people and build a company and build a brand and make money, you start self-sabotaging.
And so until I went and worked with Kevin Downing, my therapist, I was at the age of 38 years old.
38 years old, I realized that I have a problem. And my problem is I haven't dealt with the traumas
that I've experienced.
I did what most men do, which is I put it all in the box and put it away, compartmentalize,
and not think about it.
But just because all these thoughts and feelings and traumas are in the box doesn't mean
that they're not still operating your psyche.
They're not hiding in the shadows, right?
And that's why sometimes they call it shadow work.
These things are hiding in the shadows of your psyche.
And if you're like, man, I tried to get lean, but then I sabotaged myself.
I tried to work out.
and I sabotage myself, there's probably some deeper seeded shit that you haven't dealt with yet.
Keep working out, keep trying to eat right, but also go work with the therapist.
Like, what the fuck are you going to do with life anyway?
You're just going to get older without addressing this stuff and then find a chick, make her your wife,
and then vomit all this trauma and garbage on her, right?
Because you're going to feel like you don't deserve a good woman.
You're going to feel like you're not worthy of love.
you're going to feel like you're not able to care for her.
And then you're going to do something stupid to sabotage that relationship.
But if you went and you worked on your shit and you realized, you know what?
This trauma happened.
It wasn't my fault.
I'm lovable.
I'm worthy.
And I've healed.
Then when stress comes from business, from life, from whatever, you're not going to go back
to your old damaging and destructive coping mechanisms.
like I would, which in my case, it was emotional eating
because I would get those instant dopamine hits
and I would feel good about myself in the moment,
but I wake up in the morning feeling like shit
because what a hypocrite, what an imposter I was
for eating and getting fat as the CEO of a fitness franchise.
And therefore the next day, guess what?
I'm sabotaging the work I'm doing, putting myself in a greater deficit.
Right?

dudes that are screen sucking and playing video games on their mom's basement couch all day long
with Cheeto dust and their belly buttons, those dudes have lower standards for the women that they're
looking for in life.
And the more fit you are, the more confident you become.
The more fit you are, the more focused you are.
The more fit you are, the more energy you have.
And your bodies, your frequency goes up.
You go from a low vibrational frequency human to a high vibrational frequency human.
You begin to attract higher frequency people around you, men and women.
then all of a sudden your standards go up, your expectations go up, and then you're not just
trying to save some broad, you're not trying to be a captain, save a hoe anymore, you're actually
focused on finding a life's partner, someone who shares your core values, someone that you see
as a twin flame, someone that you see as your person in life.
And together you elevate each other even more.
But if you're not in shape, you are not only going to attract a,
a lesser person in your life, quite honestly, because you deserve it.
But when you have children, you're going to pass along lesser habits, lesser, lower
expectations and standards.
And I don't know about you, but as a man, I never once thought like I want my kids to be
mediocre, to be average, to be lesser, to have low standards, to not reach for the stars.
I just want them to get by in life.
I want them to just pick someone, just anyone who will be a warm body.
I want them to find their soulmates.
I want them to find their twin flame.
I want them to figure out their path and purpose in life.
I want them to take risks.
And someone who works out and is lean and jacked is able to do that.
So how do you get lean and jacked?
How do you do this?
Well, you make it a priority.
We never have a time issue in life.
It's not, I don't have time.
It's that you don't make it a priority.
Because you certainly have three hours a day to scroll on social media.
That's what the average American spends on social media.
not even television or video games just on social media,
average American three hours a day.
If you don't believe me, go look at the stats on your phone.
If you go, it's not three hours, it's only two.
It's only two hours, you silly fuck.
Two hours a day?
That means one hour a day can be focused on working out.
Outdoors, indoors, doesn't matter to me.
Calisthenics or weight room.
The other hour could be spent on prepping your food for the day.
And you actually just need 30 minutes a day to prep your food for the day.

Because when you prioritize these things, all of a sudden, you're getting your workouts in in the morning.
Before you know, you have more energy.

to work out. Go and work out even if you don't have the energy. And after 30 days, you'll see that

That is not aligned, that is not congruent with your body.
But if you were to go work out, your body will do what it needs to do to build the energy you need to push throughout the day, to be focused, to be driven.

Most of you are stuck in default passive.
That's the reality of life.
You're not attractive.
You're not focused.
You're not disciplined.
You have no path in life.
You're not consistent.
You're afraid to take risks.
and you have no energy.
That person attracts like a Mississippi four at best as a honey.
That person probably makes under $100,000 a year.
That person has substantial credit card debt.
That person feels like they're experiencing life is just this rat race.
Every day is this predictable misery.
I don't fucking want that for you guys.
I want you to be a savage.
I want you to lean into the best version of yourself.
I want you to constantly take the risks that are going to test you and challenge you.
And for that to happen, you've got to start leaning towards fitness, getting abs.
Don't just get stronger and more cardiovascular build cardiovascular endurance.
I want you to actually get leaner.
There's something about defined muscles.
There's something about having abs.
There's just something about being healthy in your age category in a way that no one else is.
will win you respect recognition and that make you feel like you're fucking 20 feet tall.
I want that for you.
And for you to get it.
If you have to hire a coach, go do it.
If you have to do the research on YouTube or go to chat GPT and have it figure out your
macros in a training program, figure it out.
If you have to eliminate bullshit activities throughout the day so that you can make time for your
workouts, do it.
When you prioritize and when you do these things,
life is going to change for the better.
Or you could stay a fat fuck.
Keep scrolling social media.
Have low standards.
Be average and mediocre.
Be a shitty example of a man to your family and your kids.
To the people that you attempt to lead in business.
And I wonder why the competition is eating you up alive and you bring it on the tariffs that Trump.
Trump and the tariffs and the stock market and the competition.
Fuck you.
It's none of that.
It's you. It's the stretch marks around your love handles.
It's the fact that you don't even brush your teeth when you get up.
It's the fact that you wear fucking crocks and an oversized t-shirt and loose basketball shorts.
And you still go out in society because you have no fucking self-respect.
I don't want that for you.
Your dad never told you that.
I'm telling you that now out of love, out of care, out of compassion.
Go do something about it.
