Guys, welcome to the Bedrosk Cullen Show.
Today's episode is all about how to win in business and in life, especially if you feel like
you're behind.
Maybe you're like, you know what, I spent a lot of time goofing off, not being focused, not really
locking into my purpose and potential in life.
And now I'm ready to start winning.
But I feel behind.
How do I win in life?
And I don't care if it's in life or business.
The formula is the same.
So I'm going to share it with you here and you apply it to the things that you want
to apply to.
First of all, let's get a few things right.
winning is not for the lucky, winning is not for the gifted, winning is not for people that have
some magical formula that you don't. Winning is available to everyone. And I'm going to share
with you here exactly what winning is. And believe it or not, it's a lot simpler than you think.
I think far too much in life, we tend to complicate what winning is and what it takes to win,
to succeed, to become in that top one percentile of whatever industry or space you want to be in,
could be fitness, relationship, business, whatever,
because we feel like if we overcomplicate it,
then we have a valid excuse why we're not going to achieve it, right?
And in reality, it doesn't have to be overcomplicated.
So let's dive into it.
So here's what winners do that losers don't.
Winners avoid their emotions when the emotions
want to talk them out of taking the action
that they had planned to take, right?
That's it.
Winners have figured out that I am human
and as a human, I'm going to have different thoughts and feelings and emotions.
I'm going to get sick.
I'm going to be tired.
I'm not going to sleep well.
Things are going to go wrong in my life.
The economy is going to shift.
There's going to be some kind of a disaster.
There's going to be a pandemic.
There's going to be a whatever.
But no matter how I feel, I'm still going to take the steps that I planned on taking
to produce the outcome that I've been looking for in life.
See, winners do that.
Losers who fall behind in life tend to get.
get managed by their thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
In other words, if they're not feeling well about something,
they just don't do what they had planned.
If they don't think that it's a good idea because they didn't sleep well,
they're tired, they're, they're, it's cold outside, it's rainy.
Maybe I'm a little under the weather, so I'm not going to do the things that I planned on doing.
Or if some kind of thing happened in the world that irritates you and frustrates you
and how can Trump make that decision again?
Doesn't he know that, okay, chill out.
Your emotions are getting the best of you.
And winners don't allow their emotions
to dictate their day-to-day decisions and actions.
Whereas a loser in life will allow their emotions
to dictate their day-to-day decisions and actions.
By the way, don't for a moment think
that the opposition, big government that is funded
by these big corporations,
the pharmaceutical corporations,
the military industrial complex,
the big food corporations that are trying to poison you.
Don't for a moment think that the opposition that are funded by those corporations
and that then begin to try and control you and manipulate you and get compliance over you
through social media, movies, music, television, sporting events by telling you how you
should feel.
I mean, let's face it, somewhere in the world today, something good happened.
But you can turn on CNN or Fox News, it doesn't matter, or any of the talking heads,
and you're only going to hear fear, destruction, inflation, doubt, uncertainty.
Why?
Because it's easier to control you and get compliance over you when you are scared,
when you're in a state of doubt and fear and uncertainty.
I mean, certainly good things happen, right?
Why don't we say, if it's the news, I mean, last I heard it wasn't called
bad news, which is called the news. I'm going to watch the news. Well, certainly some good news
happened in the world today. Why aren't we seeing that? The reason you don't see it is because it
doesn't control you. It gives you hope. Something that happened that's good and positive will give
you hope, will make you feel like you can win too. And if you start having hope and confidence
and feeling like you can win, guess what? You are unmanageable. You are uncontrollable. They
cannot get compliance over you. And if they can't manage you control, you get compliance over you,
they can't fear you into doing what you need to do to keep working, stay in debt and pay your taxes
and then die, broke, or in debt so that that can carry over to your next of kin.
Right?
So I want you to understand something.
If you want to win in life and in business, you have to be able to detach from your emotions.
That's thing number one.

Peace.
I'm not saying don't feel your emotions.
Some of you think in absolutes and it freaking frustrates me when I see it on social media posts.
Like, oh, how badros, you can't say that, you know, a man who's lean and jacked and athletic when he walks into a room that he gets respect and that, you know, that also transfers into his, I know a guy who, who it didn't transfer into his relationship.
It didn't transfer into his business.
He's broke and his relationship is a mess, but he's like a walking anatomical chart.
Okay, I get it.
I get it.
There are anomalies and everything.
If you're talking in absolutes, you might as well stop listening to my show.
By and large, dudes or chicks that are in shape, command more respect, get attention,
and are seen as higher value than those who are out of shape, period.
And typically, by and large, how you do anything is how you do everything.
So if you've got your fitness in order, you probably have your life in order,
your business in order, your finances in order.
Most of the time, not all of the time.
So let's not talk in absolutes.
But I share this with you because I'm not saying to detach from your emotions.
I'm telling you to not let your emotions manage you.
It's okay to feel emotions.
I'm a very emotional guy.
I'm a very passionate guy.
I love feeling my emotions.
I have not muted my emotions.
I do not let my emotions dictate what I'm going to do.
I could wake up to a series of text messages that I was not expecting,
A text message that might say, hey, guess what?
Congratulations.
You lost X amount of dollars in this investment you made.
Shit.
Well, that sucks.
I didn't want to lose half a million dollars in an investment that I made.
I invested in that organization or company or people because I thought I was going to make money,
not lose money.
But I've woken up to text messages like that.
Guess what I did next?
It sucked and it stung all day and it stung all week.
but I kept doing what I had planned on doing anyways.
I just did it with some frustration.
I did it with some poutiness,
but I did what I needed to do.
And that's the next thing that winners do
that losers don't do,
which is they continue to take the micro steps.
You think that winners have figured out
the one thing that they need to do
to win in life or in business.
Untrue.
Winners have figured out that they need to stack small wins.
Small wins show up as going to bed on time
every single day, seven days a week.
That's a small win.
Waking up on time without hitting the snooze button, that's a small win.
Doing what you said you were doing.
In my case, I drink my water.
I send out three gratitude text messages to three random people in my life that I'm grateful for
because I normally wake up, factory installed for me.
My natural demeanor is I wake up angry.
I wake up lacking gratitude.
And over the years, I've conditioned myself to wake up happier.
Not completely happy, but happier.
And by sending out three gratitude text messages to three random people in my life who have helped me,
who have supported me, who have believed in me, who have shown me a path, who have given me a hand,
it puts me in a state of gratitude, right?
By sending out, sometimes I wake up and like I said, to a text message that is not good news,
and I have no reason why I want to send out three gratitude text messages,
but I do it anyway.
See, I'm stacking small wins.
stacking micro winds.
And when you stack micro winds,
you end up getting some small wins.
You get small wins, you get medium-sized winds throughout the day.
Guys, quick interruption to the Bedroskoolin show.
If you want better health, more energy,
you want to fight off inflammation,
and you want to boost your immune system,
then you are probably taking a lot of supplements like I used to.
I say used to because I stopped taking all these different supplements,
and you can now throw away your vitamin C, throw away your zinc,
throw away your vitamin D3, your B12, your ginger, your turmeric,
your echinacea and your astragulus. Why? Because all of it now is available in the
Trulene Everyday Wellness Packets. So instead of spending two to $300 a month on supplements like
that, for a fraction of that, you're going to get the Trulene Wellness Shot delivered right to your door
for free shipping. And you're going to use the code Bedros. When you go to truleen.com to get
50% off. And $1 of every single order goes to Striner's Children's Hospital. So go to truene.com,
use code Bedros and order your 30-day supply of the Trulian Everyday Wellness Shot.
Now back to the show.
Those medium-sized wins stack up to larger wins throughout the week.
Those larger wins throughout the week stack up to big mega wins throughout the month and year.
And it is a consistency of stacking smaller wins every day no matter how you feel
because when you stack small wins, what you're doing is conditioning yourself to be consistent.
And that's the real magic.
You see, winners in life and in business are consistent.
They do the boring and unsexy stuff, the small things, the micro things, the things that seem
inconsequential and trivial, they do them anyway, no matter how they feel.
So if we don't allow our emotions to manage us and we begin to stack small wins throughout
the day, week, month, and years, we are starting to gain traction on our competitors,
on the people around us that we feel have left us behind.
because most people out there, I'm telling you right now,
will determine what things they're going to do
based on how they feel.
Or they feel like those small things that they weren't going to,
that they're not going to do,
are going to be inconsequential.
Like, I could hit my snooze button and get away with it.
You can, you can.
But you're sending a message to your subconscious mind
when you hit that snooze button.
I believe it, and studies have proven it.
See, because you made a commitment the night before
that you're going to wake up at whatever.
5 a.m. or 6 a.m. And then you hit that snooze button to get 10 or 15 more minutes of sleep.
Right? But Pedro's, I didn't sleep while I was having nightmares and I've got a boo-boo and
my my neck hurt. I get it. I get it. Trust me. Jiu-jitsu gives me boos and owies all day long.
My neck hurts, my shoulders hurt, my knees hurt, my hips hurt, my elbows hurt. Everything fucking
hurts. It's rare. It's rare. But if I already hit the snooze button, I had made a commitment
the night before, in my case, to wake up at 4.30 in the morning. So now if I wake up at,
let's say, 445, you might think, well, what's the big deal? You got 15 minutes more minutes
asleep. You're a little more rested. Yeah, but subconsciously, I had made a promise to wake up at
430, and I broke that promise to myself, which means what? I'm eroding my confidence with myself,
my reputation with myself. And if I'm doing that, then how can I be reliable? Subconsciously,
I already feel like a loser, even though consciously, I'm like, it's only 15 more minutes. See,
consciously we can justify anything. Subconsciously, on the other hand, you feel like a loser,
you feel like a failure, you feel like an imposter, and then that begins to snowball as well.
Just like you can stack little wins, you can stack little losses throughout the day
and end up losing the day, the week, the month, the year. This is how people end up falling back.
They look and they go, fuck, man, I'm five and ten years behind most people my age that have
established themselves. Why is that? Well, you know,
I was just hanging out after work, playing some video games, watching porn here and there,
drinking a couple drinks a night, hitting the snooze button, skipping a workout here and there.
And I've developed a fucking sausage body, right?
You look like a fucking sausage, like a polenta sausage stuffed in like some kind of
fucking pants that don't even fit you.
You're wearing a t-shirt of fucking the Incredible Hulk like you're a fucking 13-year-old kid,
even though you're a grown-ass man.
And you're wondering why chicks won't give you attention.
You can't get a fucking decent job.
No one wants to do business with you.
And you're like, oh, I'm an in-cell and it's not my fault.
No, you're an in-cell involuntary celibate because you're disgusting.
You've done nothing with yourself.
You've let inertia take effect.
And you've lost all control of any kind of basic human maintenance.
Like, think about what it feels like to have some fucking guns, man.
To be in shape, to have abs.
to be able to be formidable and have a talk and conversation and communication where you can get your
ideas, thoughts, and message across to a person across from you because you spend time to learn
how to communicate and think and string words together into sentences and paragraphs that actually
make sense and plead your case. What a powerful thing to be physically and mentally formidable,
right? I've told you before, I'm a fat kid who's a foreigner to this country. English is my second
language. Yet I've learned how to speak and communicate and share thoughts. I've learned how to
adjust my diet and my training no matter how busy I am because I realize I'm only getting older,
which means I have to put in more effort into longevity. Not less. I'm not going to let my body
peak. I'm just getting started. And that's the never peak mentality that I talk about in my book,
man up. And so if you're willing to start avoiding your emotions in terms of letting them control you,
feel your emotions because it's the human condition to actually have a variety of emotions.
Happiness, sadness, stress, all of it.
Feel it.
Anger, feel the emotions.
Do not let it determine your decisions and actions.
Start stacking little wins.
And then the third and final thing here is really simple.
Start with you.
Meaning you can't control your spouse.
You can't control your business partner.
You can't control the economy.
You can't control your customers.
You can't control a lot of things that are external.
We want to have influence on those things,
but you can't directly control it.
You can't just shake your honey by the shoulders
and be like, be a fucking decent person.
And here's what a decent person does.
Because I think that's called abuse
and the cops come.
It's a whole fucking thing, right?
And you certainly can't go grab people
and like, buy my shit or else.
That'd be great.
That's not how you get customers.
And you can't tell your business partners like, dude, we're 50, 50 business partners, but I'm doing 90% of the work.
You're doing 10% of the work like, you can.
But is it going to sink?
Is he or she going to do it for a while and then go back to doing 10%?
But what you can control is self.
What you can control is the version of the self that you are.
You can control your personal development.
You can control how much healing you do in terms of the trauma that you've experienced as a younger human, that you're carrying the weight of that, the load of that.
and it's showing up in different areas of your life?
Like, go work with the therapist.
Read a book on how to heal through your traumas.
On how to heal through emotional pain, physical pain.
In my case, I was sexually abused when I was a kid.
And I was physically abused.
It took therapy.
It took reading books.
It took journaling to heal through this shit
and to realize it wasn't my fault.
That I'm not broken.
I'm not unlovable.
That I shouldn't feel shame, rage, and confusion.
That carrying the weight of all that shame
rage and confusion is like creating friction and stopping me from achieving my goals in life.
And I had to give myself permission to let go of all that and to understand that it wasn't my
fault. I am a lovable human being. I was molested because two older boys took advantage
of something very sacred, not my fault. But for 30-some-odd years, I carried the weight of that.
So start working on the things you can control. Heal yourself through your trauma.
Get in the gym and work out consistently. Eat clean.
And when you do these things, you develop internal control.
And once you have that internal control, it gives you a greater sense of confidence.
You feel like a bad ass who's unstoppable.
And if you feel like a badass who's unstoppable, now you can begin to have greater influence,
not control, but greater influence on the people and the things around you.
Why?
Because confidence is contagious.
And when you're in shape, when you're radiant, when people feel like this person,
just glows and exudes confidence,
they want to be a part of who you are and what you're doing.
And that's how you bring people into your vision.
That's how winners win.
Because winners can never win on their own.
If you think that the lone wolf mentality is how you win,
I'm telling you it's not.
You build yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally
by healing, by eating right, training hard,
and becoming mentally tough.
And then you radiate so much confidence
and goodness and kindness and awesomeness
that people want to be a part of what you're doing.
And so now you're not controlled by your emotions.
You're stacking little wins every day no matter what.
And you've done the self-work and the healing work
and the transformation to become a formidable human being
that everyone wants to be connected to.
That is how you go from where you are today
to catching up and winning in life.
