Welcome to the Empire Show.
Today, I'm doing another solo episode.
Just me and Ed in the studio, only the hardcore because we got the COVID-19 virus, right?
All right, so let's get to talking, man.
We need to talk about what you have to sell right now.
And listen, I know the economy crashed, and the economy is going to stay crash.
because of this virus. The virus will be long gone in a couple months, but the economic devastation from it will continue.
And I want to make sure that you're selling things that people are going to buy,
especially during economic downturns, people buy hard offers and not soft offers.
So consider this episode a coaching episode where I coach you on your business and your mindset.
Listen, many of you had really good services, great product.
that you could sell when the economy was thriving just a few months ago,
when COVID virus was just a figment and nothing more.
But now it's a fact, and people are holding on to their money.
And when the economy was thriving and things were good,
you could sell stuff like mindset,
like motivation, like daily structure, like discipline.
But guess what?
those things are not going to be sold now, not for the next few years to come.
You want the truth, those things are probably not going to be sold for a long time.
At least they're not going to sell well.
You know what is going to sell well, hard offers.
So let me explain to you the difference between soft offers and hard offers.
Soft offers are things that are, oh, I don't know, a little airy-fairy, if you will, right?
Life coaching, relationship coaching, mindset, motivation, discipline,
accountability, personal structure, productivity.
Those are all soft offers.
Now, you might make the argument that, look, Bedros,
if I teach someone productivity,
then they will make more money.
If I teach someone life structure,
then they will get more fit
and find time in their day for their workout and food and nutrition.
I get it. I can connect those dots.
I can't.
But if you're selling
life structure to help people ultimately make more money, to help people ultimately get in shape,
I'm going to sell hard offers. See, a hard offer falls in three specific categories and that is it.
Fitness and fat loss is a hard offer. If you promise someone fitness or fat loss, that's a hard offer.
Marketing and money promise people that they will get more clients, customers and money.
That's a hard offer.
Sex and relationships.
That's the third one.
Sex and relationships.
Promise people that they will get sex, have relationships,
find that significant other.
Get laid.
However you want to put it, those are it.
Fitness and fat loss.
Marketing and money.
Sex and relationships.
Those are hard offers.
People will pay faster for hard offers
than soft offers like mindset,
motivation and accountability, life structure, productivity coaching.
And so if you want to sell more right now, if you want to create offers that aren't going to
frustrate you when you're trying to market and you're like, why don't people buy this from me?
Sure, I get it, man.
People want mindset.
People need motivation.
They need discipline.
I'm with you.
They need life structure.
They're just not going to buy that from you because they're freaking pain right now is I need more money.
I'm fat and I need to get out of this fat suit that I put myself in and I need to get fit again.
I want to find a relationship.
That's what people are thinking about.
So if you're making a soft offer, an offer where it's not going to produce money directly,
it's not going to produce fat loss directly, it's not going to help them find that relationship,
that soft offer is not going to work, man.
