Starting point is 00:00:02 Hello, Beef and Dairy Network. Greetings. It is I, King Penagore, beloved sovereign of the lowland folk, conqueror of the silt reed marshes, and vanquisher of the dwarven rat men of the frozen peaks of Tonnathor. Oh, hi, King Pannagore. How can I help you? I had been looking forward to attending a live show of the Beef and Dairy Network at 2pm on Saturday the 12th of September 26 at the London Podcast Festival. Right, okay. But alas, and alack, and alack, and alas, and alack again, and alas!
Starting point is 00:00:36 My grand plan was thwarted. For three moons I have been courting the bee-queen hive empress of the quartz swarm. When at last I sought to claim our passage, I found the sacred doors barred. Sorry, I don't follow, what do you mean? I was too busy trying to shag a giant magical bee to buy a ticket, and now it has sold out. Ah, I see. It is of paramount kingdom shab. shattering importance that I secure passage to the live show. My decree is to escort the
Starting point is 00:01:07 bee queen hive empress and her royal retinue unto your hall, that the majestic thunder of your agricultural discourse may win her heart. Should my wooing succeed, she shall grant me leave to fertilize her 10,000 obsidian eggs. Thus shall a glorious new dynasty dawn, where lowland folk and bee demon rule as one. Right. Okay. Well, the thing is King Pentagon, that two o'clock show has definitely sold out, so there's no room for you. Well, you must conjure seats from the void.
Starting point is 00:01:37 Seats for myself, my queen, and her hundred pollen-hungry attendants. Fail in this command, and you shall feel three cubits of forged, cold steel-driven deep within your rotten Cespian anus. Listen, look, I know that a lot of people were disappointed that the 2pm show sold out. So the good news for you, King Penaugour,
Starting point is 00:01:58 is that we've put on an extra evening show at that exact same venue at the London Podcast Festival on that same day at 9.30pm. Speak true, jester. The bee queen will be pleased with this. Shall this Moonlight Edition mirror the sacred mysteries of the two o'clock gathering? Sorry again, what do you mean by that?
Starting point is 00:02:19 Will it be the same show as the 2pm show, you insolent brute? Yes, yes it will. Glorious. And by what arcane parchment or enchanted looking glass may one secure passage to this nine, 30 p.m. ritual. Very simple, just go to kingsplace.co.com.
Starting point is 00:02:35 Or click the link in the show notes here. And am I right to assume that it is possible to purchase a streaming ticket so that those of my party who cannot attend in person? For example, Prince Oakhaven the Bendy, or my battle bishop Thaddeus, the unwashed, can watch the 2pm show through their enchanted looking glasses, either live or for a week following the merry performance? If, by enchanted looking glasses you mean the internet,
Starting point is 00:03:00 Then, yes, the 2pm show is being streamed. Exquisite. Perhaps myself and the bee queen can watch the streamed show at 2 o'clock. Then we spend the afternoon fertilising the obsidian eggs so that they may hatch during our attendance at the 9.30pm show. A new race of bee men born unto this world during a live podcast show. For now, Harold, your anus is spared from the blade. Oh, brilliant. That's a great relief, thank you.
Starting point is 00:03:29 cattle multiply and be unbothered by the winged gibbons of prune. Blast, it is the marauding skeleton horses of the southern dunes here to claim my throne. I must man the battlements. Good day. Boil the oil, gentlemen! I shall protect you, my bee queen. Hello, so in case that wasn't clear, and it's possibly it wasn't. At the London podcast festival on the 12th of September, we are now putting on a second show, the 2pm show, a solo, out, we're putting on an extra one at 9.30pm. And it will be basically the same as the 2pm show. Also, streaming tickets are still available for the 2pm show. There are links in the show notes, or you can just Google King's Place or London Podcast Festival. Words to that effect. Maybe we'll see you there.
Starting point is 00:04:17 Bye.
