Between the Moon - Ep 34: Serving up Eclipse Sandwiches

Episode Date: August 27, 2026

Welcome back!Right as I was about to publish this episode my youngest teen burst into my office to tell me of the passing of Tim Curry … right on the coattails of Dolly … dang long live these immo...rtal legends. So, this episode revolves around eclipses.Causation and correlationDo eclipses cause deaths of kings or the coolest icons? No. But sometimes intense or memorable things happen close to these events that feel connected.Eclipse clockwork strikes every six months activating the lunar nodes. The nodes are a point in space where the orbit of the moon crosses the path of the sun. These are the cosmic crossroads of the sun, moon, and earth. Here we are, pausing to take a breath at the intersection.Prompts:What area of your life this eclipse is visiting? How are you addressing what is out of sorts or going sideways? What is asking to be recalibrated? And what kind of sandwich is this eclipse serving up… (listen to the episode for this thought experiment). In case our path’s are crossing for the first time — hi I’m April: artist, mother, founder of themoonismycalendar 🌙 poetic plant person and 🌸 budding flower essence practitioner. I create and publish circular moon calendars to support self-study in relationship with cycles. The Nodes of FateThe nodes (those hot spot points of intersection where eclipses happen) change signs about every 1.5 years. This allows for a longer unfolding of learning and growth alongside the astrological themes.Eclipse in Pisces DatesLook back to track the unfolding… is there a thread that you are weaving from two years ago that is finding a resolution or new evolution?2024 September 17 Partial LUNAR Eclipse at 25 Pisces 412025 September 7 Total LUNAR Eclipse at 15 Pisces 232026 August 28 Partial LUNAR Eclipse at 4 Pisces 54This year we are moving from Pisces North Node into Aquarius, and from Virgo South Node into Leo. Even though the NN is in Aquarius, this eclipse is in the tropical sign of Pisces since it not a TOTAL eclipse, just partial.I explain this a bit more in the episode, but basically if there were total syzygy alignment, the node and the moon would be in the same sign.Check the Pisces house in your chart to see which area of your life this is lighting up:Eclipse RepetitionsOver two thousand years ago Babylonians were tracking cycles and were able to calculate that there were 38 possible eclipses within a period of 223 months. Today this period of about 18 years is called a Saros cycle, and a sequence of eclipses separated by a Saros cycle constitutes a Saros series. These dates give points of reference to help reveal themes that are resurfacing now.* SAROS: Nearly identical configurations of eclipses (total, annual, or partial) occur every 18 years and 11 days known as the Saros Cycle:Look back to Aug 16th 2008 (Saros cycle twin of this eclipse)* METONIC: Every 19 years the eclipse will occur on the same date in the same sign and degree. This is referred to as the Metonic cycle:Look back to Aug 28, 2007 (Metonic Cycle twin of this eclipse)For your historical, spiritual, imaginative reference for eclipse protocols…Tablet Inscribed with a Ritual for the Observances of EclipsesLunar eclipses figured prominently in the prognostications of the Babylonian seer. This text was part of the temple ritual. Specific roles and chants are assigned to different types of priests and laypeople. Aromatic woods are to be burned on an altar throughout an eclipse; dirges are to be sung; people are to remove their headgear and cover their heads with their garments, then wail and cry aloud, begging the gods to save them, their cities, and their shrines. The text conceives of an eclipse as the “death” of the moon, of nature, and of humankind, and conjures their revivification.Eclipse Reflections and Practices* What is arising? Draw it, sing it, dance it* What are you feeling called to release? Burn it, burry it* Notice if you feel the need for more rest or forward momentum* Eclipses can be a time for purification (working with the elements)* Develop personal protocol for extra support: salt bath, sauna, go incognito mode, a lighter schedule if possible, more walks with the tree ancestors, meditation, emotional release* Notice how you want to work with the energy that is present* Flip the circuit breaker, turn everything off and restart* What else would you add to your eclipse protocol?Let’s do the time warp again, shall we?Sending many blessings,Aprilp.s. Starting point is 00:00:01 Welcome back to the Between the Moon podcast. I'm your host April McMurtry, and this is a podcast that explores self-study in relationship with cycles of the earth, of the cosmos, and within our own personal lives. This episode revolves around eclipses, and it's being recorded on the eve of the partial lunar eclipse in August of 2026. And this is the eclipse in triumption. topical Pisces. So this episode will include some references to themes in astrology, but it's not meant to be an astrological podcast by any means. I love working with the symbols and the metaphors and the, just the, really that symbolic language that astrology offers to deepen our understanding and our relationship with the archetypes of the astrology. the signs of the zodiac. And here when we're talking about eclipses, we're going to dive into this relationship.
Starting point is 00:01:10 And first of all, why I called it the eclipse sandwich. I found myself the other day writing to a friend and saying, how is this, how are you doing in this eclipse sandwich? And the words came out of my mouth and I thought, okay, wait, eclipse sandwich. That actually makes a lot of sense. And so I would love for this just to be a playful exploration and something that feels delightful and brings humor to things that may be hard. Eclipses can often bring up really tough and confronting situations and things that were sort of meant to deal with to rise to the occasion and find something within ourself that brings out whether
Starting point is 00:02:03 it's new skills or an ability to say no, to see things that need to be addressed immediately in some ways that if we put off, they're just going to fester. Often eclipses can add a little bit of of pressure or that feeling of potentially urgency to deal with, to deal with the stuff that's coming up. Okay. So eclipse sandwich. You may hear astrologers and other people talking about an eclipse portal. And I've probably used that language in the past. I may use it in the future. And I've been asked several times about like, what do you mean by a portal? I do feel like that word is incredibly overused and so I'm going with sandwich. All eclipse seasons, so even a season itself, I'll just explain for those of you who might be unfamiliar or want a refresher or perhaps a new perspective,
Starting point is 00:03:00 is every six months, there's a pair of eclipses that happen and it's like clockwork. And this is something that's been recorded for thousands of years. And there are even the cuneiform tablets or cuneiform. I actually don't know how to pronounce that word. The writing in ancient in Babylonia, in the fertile crescent, Sumeria, the what's now present day Iraq, the recording of the occurrence of eclipses, these repeating patterns. So it's something that has been known and understood by astronomers and astrologers, which, back in the day were one and the same. There was no distinction or differentiation between the science and the spirit of those two fields and disciplines. So although eclipses may seem so unexpected or out of the ordinary, they are predictable and they come in pairs at least to either starting with a full moon or a new moon, lunar eclipse, solar eclipse,
Starting point is 00:04:17 And in some circumstances and in some years, for example, like 2020, there were instead of a pair of eclipses, there was four in a row. And that just has to do with a configuration of where the sun, the moon, and the earth, like where the shadows are, all of that good stuff. So the sandwich part of it then are the book ends and the like the two weeks in between, really, between the new moon and the full moon. between the two eclipses. Again, sometimes it starts with the full moon and then the next one is the new moon. It's like the inside of this sandwich. So if you, now this is just a thought experiment, if you were going to go to a restaurant and order something on the menu that was called an eclipse sandwich,
Starting point is 00:05:08 what would you expect to be inside of it? Like what kind of sandwich in your moment? mind would an eclipse sandwich be? Or even if you had a restaurant or a cafe and you wanted to put something kind of cool and unusual on the menu, kind of chic to put an eclipse sandwich on the menu, what ingredients would you put in there? So just in your imagination and what kind of what comes up, what textures or colors or ingredients. And so then you can look for yourself in these last two weeks or whenever there's that pair of eclipses, again, the season that happens six months apart. And year after year kind of slowly shifts so that it moves around from it could, you know, right now the eclipses are in spring and fall.
Starting point is 00:06:03 But they'll shift so that they'll be in the summer and the winter, just six months apart. Okay. Inside these last two weeks, what has kind of gone into this sandwich? which of yours? And are there some kind of unusual things that have come up? This really is self-study in relationship with cycles, and so it's meant to be applied practically to your life. And if nothing unusual has come up, it's kind of like, well, same old, same all. That's cool. The eclipses aren't necessarily impacting you in any stronger way than just life in general. For the last 12 plus years, the notes that I've been taking on eclipses, often there are things that really either come to a head
Starting point is 00:06:48 or that intensify. I'm somebody who will take things with a grain of salt and I want to see for myself, which is part of why I created and have published the Lunation Journal for so many years is this place to record those observations so that we each become like the author, authority of our own lived experience and be able to speak to those things and really embody them. So my Eclipse sandwich, I'm going to share from personal experience, which sometimes I hesitate to do because like this is a public forum that goes out all over the world. There are things that I share on Substack that are for paid subscribers only. But I thought it might be fun.
Starting point is 00:07:34 And again, in the spirit of lightheartedness, I think. a lot of times around eclipses there can be really like just an intensity which i don't know it doesn't really that doesn't help me um so in my eclipse sandwich it was literally a shit sandwich so the um the monday after let me actually look at my yeah like right in the middle of this eclipse window sandwich season time. I found myself just feeling like strange, like a twitching and a pulsing in my abdomen, something that, you know, when something comes up, we have options. We have an option to ignore it. We have an option to say, okay, this is something that is going to resolve itself and go away on its own. there are other things that come up and there might be a sense of you know what I should really
Starting point is 00:08:34 deal with this I should address this I should try to take care of this sometimes that's our intuition speaking to us a little louder turning up the volume saying like make the call go and in this case I just I took myself to the emergency room I never go that's the last place that I want to be, I will take the routes of, you know, I'll get acupuncture for a lot of things that feel like, okay, there's something here, but I feel like it can be addressed with, you know, opening some channels. And in this case, for whatever reason, I was a little possessed and decided to go spend six hours in the, in the ER. And, you know, part of it is because there are, when there's something that's like, this could be something.
Starting point is 00:09:26 that's worse, it could be totally fine, but why not just check it out and see? I ended up getting an ultrasound and then a cat scan, just, you know, an extra concern about like things that run in my family that I wanted to rule out. Anyway, the doctor, who's amazing, she pulled me aside, and she's like, okay, I reviewed the scan, and um, um, the, um, the scan. Um, the, um, um, the, um, um, the, um, um, um, the this is maybe best case scenario. And I looked at her and I was like, I'm full of shit. And she's like, yes, you are constipated. I was like, okay, cool.
Starting point is 00:10:08 This is something that can be dealt with. I went to the ER thinking like, who knows, just preparing for things to not, I often will envision the best case scenario and hold that vision. I feel like that's an important part of my way of moving through the world in terms of like holding a frequency to something turning out in the best way possible. And in this case, I was kind of preparing for anything. So I was like, okay, great, what next steps? And she's like, all right, well, just, you know, wait to be called and we'll get you in Enema.
Starting point is 00:10:49 And I was like, I was just laughing to myself because I have talked about. eclipses in the past as being spiritual enemas. And now in the like literal practical sense, I was getting the first enema of my life in this eclipse window time actually like dealing with my shit. And I decided to share this personal example because I feel like it can be really helpful. Not everyone likes to talk about like bodily fluids, like this kind of stuff. And digestion, like going back to digestion, it's one of like such a key factor of our well-being. How we digest what goes into our body. How we digest what it is that we're exposed to and read and watch.
Starting point is 00:11:43 There is so much undigested material, emotional processing, all those things like how we metabolize things. And this was my opportunity. this eclipse window and this sandwich was me like really confronting all of that. And so perhaps for you it may be more of a spiritual enema where there may be just some patterns in relationships that are coming up that need to be, you know, not necessarily purged because I don't really relate to that word so much as something that's like pulling the plug or opening the whatever's the whatever's blocked or hardened or calcified or just like really just stuck um so spiritual enema um that's something it's something right that kind of speeds up a process
Starting point is 00:12:44 so this eclipse season i mean there was really also beautiful and and joyous moments. And but in really thinking about like what are some of the takeaways and the things that are lessons that we're continuing to work with and to apply. And so really for me it's that like am I am I putting things in to my body in a thoughtful way and really taking care of how I did. So I started like castor oil packs like some of these self-care things of like self-massage that often I'll say like oh I don't have time for but when it becomes an issue of like health, well-being,
Starting point is 00:13:38 just like comfort in the body. Now I'm like, okay, well those the things that are now not I'm not going to like negotiate around. Okay. So moving from this eclipse, sandwich. Again, I would love to hear if you want to hop over to the substack or just message me directly. I know it's a weird time with like privacy and who sees what on the internet and all that stuff. And if you don't want to like put something out there for everyone to see, you're welcome to contact me through my website or email and just share what kind of sandwich this has been for you, just really in this curious sense. of the range of sandwiches.
Starting point is 00:14:27 And it doesn't have to be negative. And I wouldn't necessarily say my experience at the ER was negative. Like I made the most out of it. I talked to a lot of people in the waiting room. We were kind of all in there together for all different kinds and often like unfortunate reasons. But yeah, it just, it doesn't have to be a negative sandwich is what I'm saying. And all right, so many things. So I wanted to just address the concept of causation and correlation and how sometimes, you know, even within astrology, how in talking about the movement of planets and what's going on in the cosmos, whether or not that's the effect that that's having or the impact that's having and what causes what.
Starting point is 00:15:24 And whether something happens, it's not that the eclipse caused me to go to the emergency room. There were conditions and feelings that were, for me, outside of the norm of how I might respond or react to something that's not like over-the-top pain. It's just like, oh, there's a little something here. And of course, in the whatever, yes. What's out of the ordinary? something that's unexpected or feeling like a little uneasy. The causation correlation, whether or not there's just, it happens to be,
Starting point is 00:16:08 the cause and effect isn't something that is like a one-to-one, something that can be proven. What I'm interested in is self-study, which is kind of, I would say, flows in between those two things of connections that we, may see and find our for ourselves that are meaningful. And that's really, if there's anything that I want to share about the approach and working, if you work with a lunation journal or some other kind of journaling, to have these reference points, whether it's the lunar cycle overall as a container to work within, or the reference points of eclipses to have something to kind of bounce your own experience off of and to make meaning to make sense of in a way that that doesn't mean like an eclipse is going to mean that things are intense that's not well you can
Starting point is 00:17:16 find out for yourself that may or may not be true for you but it's i'm not saying that there's a certain um eclipses are going to cause something thing. But in my experience, they definitely stir up things from like deeper down, whether that's in the subconscious or just things that have been on the periphery, things that have not been dealt with. It's a, I would say, it's an amazing time and opportunity to deal with the stuff that has not been dealt with, to say the things. And along with that, when I was thinking of the whole sandwich metaphor, there is in, for those of you, for familiar with or practice NBC, nonviolent communication, the feedback sandwich. I think that's a
Starting point is 00:18:01 central part of the, I don't know if it originated with NBC, but this idea of like couching things of when we have feedback to give or something we need to say, it can often help to start out with something positive. And now it's kind of become a little cliche of, oh great, just like give it to me straight, like don't try to sugarcoat this. but I do feel like there is a way of leading into something that might be more tricky to like you know when someone says oh I need to talk to you that can often just like the defenses can come up right away and if it's like the approach is more of sandwiching I don't want to necessarily say positivity sandwiching things in like what is at the heart of why you even care about giving feedback to this person in the first place
Starting point is 00:18:59 and that could be like I love you and I value our friendship or our relationship and also you've been like not present when we're together or distracted by your phone and it really hurts my heart and so offering that kind of feedback is in the same sandwich form of like it's surrounded by love. Anyway, that's totally a sidestepping detour. Okay, with the causation correlation, so I was thinking about like, yeah, if every time you step on a crack, you break your mom's back, then you wouldn't step on cracks, right? Like that's saying as a kid that there's a superstition, that then something has this power
Starting point is 00:19:47 of like, oh no, I remember jumping over cracks all the time. I was like, no, I don't want to hurt my mom. Where did that even come from? Maybe one time someone stepped down a crack. And then like they made this like causation from I did this and then this happened. There's a lot of power in intention. And so that when we draw our own connections to see. see if it's coming from a place of fear or worry, which sometimes, especially that just the
Starting point is 00:20:26 hype around eclipses can stir up for some people. And I just wanted to address that because, and I've shared this before in other spaces, eclipses can also be very healing and to allow for that possibility. That's something that is out of the ordinary or sudden and as eclipses are they are inversions. So on a solar eclipse the day becomes the night. Things flip. They turn upside down, inside out. And so from that when we relate to or feel into eclipses, that may translate to our own experience or not. But this version where day becomes night, you know, the solar eclipse that started out this sandwich on August 12th. I was watching some footage. There's a photographer and I don't remember his name and I'm not
Starting point is 00:21:32 sure how to look him up other than just Googling into the magical Oracle box. He photographs birds on solar eclipses because birds get that signal to roost. when the light goes out. And so he'll find nests where birds, a nesting area, and he'll set up there and wait for the eclipse to happen in the darkness to come, and the birds will flock back to these nests. And so there's these beautiful images of birds with the eclipse in the background. Anyway, so creative, so incredible.
Starting point is 00:22:16 and plays into the inversion of how to play with that inversion of things going upside down. It's like, oh, birds are going to go back to their nests. So that would be a beautiful opportunity in a very unexpected out of the ordinary time to see them going to their nest in the middle, you know, to go to roost in the middle of the day. the things that are unexpected are often felt as with an uneasiness and working with eclipses is a way to I wouldn't say overcome that but be present with what may feel uneasy or uncertain And like I said, Babylonian astronomer astrologers committed their knowledge to stone in the tablets
Starting point is 00:23:19 of their understanding of the repetition of eclipses themselves, that they observed, noticed, and recorded those patterns. And I would say the practice of self-study in relationship with cycles is observing, noticing, and recording patterns. And then what we do with those patterns is part of our intention of why notice in the first place. Why observe? Why record? Sometimes we step back as like, what is the why?
Starting point is 00:23:52 And it may be, I want to be more present in my life. I want to not avoid things that are uncomfortable or uneasy and actually address and move through and process and actually learn to digest. and receive the nourishment from what comes in and hopefully fertilize new growth with what comes out. Along with those patterns, I'm going to just offer a couple of dates to look back to, and now this is kind of transitioning a little more into the themes of the sign that the nodes and the eclipses in. Okay. So eclipses are, they are like clockwork every six months, and they activate the lunar nodes. And so those are those invisible points in space, this crossroads, this crossing over of the orbit of the moon around the sun,
Starting point is 00:25:04 the moon around the sun, the moon around the earth, and the earth around the sun. Those places where the orbit and the plane of the ecliptic crossover is the node. And the nodes are in signs of the zodiac, even though it's not a physical body. It's a point in space. And so there's different ways to calculate that, but just knowing that the north node and the south node are currently in the tropical sign of Leo and Aquarius. Now, how is it that this eclipse is in the sign of Pisces but the node is in Aquarius. I mean, this is technical, so you can skip over this part, but I was a little fascinated and confused, I think, early on of like, wait,
Starting point is 00:25:51 but I thought the nodes and the sign should be the same. And yes, they are if it's a total eclipse. If it's a total eclipse, whatever the node is in and the moon or the sun, if it's a lunar eclipse what the moon, that sign, the eclipse will be the same. I mean, the node will be the same. It's total. It's a line up. It's like kind of like the skewer.
Starting point is 00:26:19 You know, if there's a line like going straight through the center of the sun and the earth and the moon. However, if it's a partial eclipse, one of those planetary bodies is a little off from that true alignment or the scissigy. that creates the conditions for total shadow coverage. So in a partial eclipse, then the moon is in Pisces, but the note itself is a couple degrees apart from that in the sign before that in Aquarius. Anyway, super technical, but I don't know, that helped clear things up for me. Maybe it made it more confusing for you. Let me know.
Starting point is 00:27:02 So this is closing out a series of eclipses that we've had in Pisces that started in September of 2024. So if it helps to look back in your own self-study to kind of see what came up on the first lunar eclipse in Pisces, that was September 17th. And that was a lunar eclipse. So it was a full moon. Eclipse only happen on new moons and full moons. those are the conditions where there is that lineup of the earth, the sun and the moon, and the shadows that are cast. And the next one in the series is September 7th of 2025,
Starting point is 00:27:47 total lunar eclipse and Pisces. And this final one in the grouping of the node being close enough to Pisces that these are, a part of a, like an unfolding of the story of an eclipse in Pisces. And that is August 28th of 2026 in a partial lunar eclipse. So the three of them, just if you want to look back at your tracking and see, is there some kind of something that's coming to a resolution of being resolved or something that's evolving? Is there a similar theme that keeps repeating itself?
Starting point is 00:28:32 What are the kinds of experience? and the tone around these times, these points or these moments or these full moons. Full moons can be like heightened energy as it is. Last year this eclipse on Pisces, I made a huge note about like put in place the eclipse protocol because things really, it was very memorable. I will just say that. It was very memorable and I did not want it to be memorable in that way again. And so whatever kinds of practices of self-care or just like there's times to really engage with things and sometimes to disengage and let the storm blow over.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Or times to put some guardrails in place for yourself or for the how communication is flowing in your life. And so Eclipse is in Pisces. You can, if you're familiar with your chart, you can look and see what house this is transiting. And on the substack post that goes along with this podcast, I have a chart that's up there that just shows what your rising sign is. And it'll say what house this eclipse is transiting or happening or. lighting up and the themes for that house. So you're welcome to check that out. In terms of repetitions, there is this longer arc of time that eclipses are a part of families and these families that unfold in a series over hundreds of years. And one of those repetitions is the serro cycle. And again,
Starting point is 00:30:29 the Babylonians knew about this and they were tracking cycles and were able to calculate. how many eclipses would happen within a period of time. And so the eclipses in the seroc cycle happen. It's about every 18 years, and that's the seroc cycle. It's like precisely, oh, where did I put it? 18. I don't have it in front of me, and I don't have it memorized because I have to look it up every single time.
Starting point is 00:30:57 It's like 18 years. I'm not going to say how many months and down to the hour, because I'm going to get it wrong unless I look it up. So you can look it up or maybe you know know it by heart. So the seroc cycle, so this would be like the twin of this eclipse. It has almost identical configuration of how it moves across the globe. Oh, here it is. Every 18 years and 11 days and I think there's a couple hours in there too.
Starting point is 00:31:25 That was back in 2008, so August 16th, 2008. and so if you wanted to look back to that that's kind of a twin to this just to see it's almost like a life review opportunity to see what kind of chapter you were in at that time and are is there like an echo that's happening now or things that you learned in that in those eclipse sandwiches that are being refined perhaps now and similar another pattern that repeats itself in eclipses. And this actually, this pattern repeats itself with the moon every 19 years. The same day of the moon will have the same phase of the moon.
Starting point is 00:32:20 And this is 19 years as opposed to 18. So it's pretty similar. It feels like it falls within the same chapter. But that's going back to August 28th of 2007. And that's the metonic cycle. named after the Greek meton, but I'm sure he got that information from before he just gets credit and it gets named after him. All right, I wanted to close with this. I had mentioned having Eclipse protocol or the kind of self-care, community care, just looking out for yourself and others
Starting point is 00:32:57 because Eclipse times can, they can be tricky, they can also be very freeing because of this energy of inversion and things happening suddenly that maybe at other times like with the moon the phases unfold gradually and so sometimes life is like you know things are gradual um when they're sudden like eclipses are like all of a sudden wait there was the moon and now like what's happening now it's glowing red there is um there's something in our human DNA, our human ancestral experience, of feeling for those luminaries, of feeling connected, they're such a part of our daily and nightly life is being with the sun and being with the moon. And when the moon or the sun, in some traditions, are seen as being eaten or being
Starting point is 00:34:00 almost like debilitated or harmed in some way by the shadow, how do you respond to that? It might be a time of feeling like deep grief and sadness. It might be a time of there's some practices of like making lots of noise, of banging pots and pans of like, don't let the shadow eat the sun or eat the moon. Like let's make some, make noise to scare off anything that may be causing harm. So I just wanted to read from one of the tablets, and this is from around the second century before the common era in Mesopotamia, for the ritual for the observances of eclipses. And so this is going way back that there would be rituals around eclipses, that an eclipse is something out of the ordinary. Things that are taboo have a certain, often when they are treated with a kind of,
Starting point is 00:35:00 kind of reverence to the sacredness of being outside of normal time, of daily life just as it progresses in what is more expected, that that calls for rights or rituals to be in a relationship in a way with something that is out of the ordinary. and this is translated to say, as the eclipse begins, the priest shall light the torch and attach it to the altar. As long as the eclipse lasts, the fire upon the altar, thou shalt not remove. A dirge from the fields shall thou shalt in tone, a dirge from the streams that the water shall not devastate thou shall intone as long as the eclipse lasts the people of the land shall remove their headgear they shall cover their heads with their garments that catastrophe murder rebellion and the eclipse approach not they shall cry aloud for a lamentation they shall send up their cry
Starting point is 00:36:20 So that has to do with lighting candles of burning incense or burning sacred plants or woods, singing song, expression, crying, wailing, sending up prayers for protection. and this connection of the eclipse to something that gets renewed. And often for renewal, there is a death that comes first. And with the shadows, that eclipsing is that wiping that form, that familiar form of the sun or the moon that's eclipsed. and then rebirthed or birthed again. So the invitation really is to create your own or revive some practices connecting to, I would say, holding that space as the eclipse is happening, to really.
