So I was like okay I guess I like have something here so I was like I'm gonna keep doing this but it was hard to get guests first I was just running through every influencer that was mutuals with me and I'm like do you want to be on it people are like no like that's or just leave me on red a lot of people left me on oh now they're mad oh

they reply now actually of course I do they're like yeah I'll take you up on that I'm like oh you're like well I have Drake going right now with your interviews but so many people didn't want to do it at first obviously I get it because like it's you know it I was nothing and it was like whatever but I from every single video I had did done I had got like one or two viral clips from it not viral viral but like enough that I was like okay like this is like something that I'm gonna keep trying at so I would drive to LA once a week from um laguna beach okay um i would pump the whole way there i like was very new to the pumping thing i was before that i was like exclusively breastfeeding my baby i didn't even know what you meant i thought i thought at first you meant like you were pumping like get pumped up

exactly i'm like getting really pumped in the car. No. So I was like literally having to physically pump milk the whole time. It was a whole thing. And it was hard. But I was like, I'm doing this. I think that this is like fun to do. It was really fun. I feel like I was just on TikTok. I didn't have a way of meeting new people doing that. I was filming videos just like by myself. Sometimes I try to like add in like strangers. But I wanted to have a way to meet people. And the podcast I was like I wish I could have like collaborate with other people it was like the perfect opportunity to collaborate with other people and have people um meet people and so far it's been amazing every time I do even this trip is so fun for me like meeting I've met so many people this trip and it's like really fun

um but yeah so I I did I paid people to be on it and well you didn't pay like that first person no i paid so what happened was after i ran out of her like i ran out of the people i knew that had following i was like oh god like getting guests is really hard like i don't know how to get it is um so i was like i don't know like what to do so then i was like i put a tiktok out and i was like i'll give 300 to anyone who the idea was i was hoping that like someone i was like, I don't know what to do. So then I was like, I put a TikTok out. And I was like, I'll give $300 to anyone who, the idea was I was hoping that someone, I was like, if you tag someone and you get them to do it. I was hoping that someone would tag a celebrity

and a celebrity would see that and be like, oh, I'll do it. And I wasn't thinking huge names. I was thinking just anyone. Oh, I remember seeing that video. You were like, I want a famous person. You have to be famous. Exactly.

I was just trying to bait people to give me guests. I was like, i want a famous person you have to be famous exactly yeah i was just trying to like bait people to give me guests i was like i need a guest it worked and i got um this comedian rick glassman i got him to do it and he has like a pretty like he's really respected in the comedy space so that actually got me like i think that's what led to funny marco well so someone saw my interview with rick and they commented under that video and was like, you have the same style and like sense of humor as Funny Marco. I'd never heard of Funny Marco in my life. And I was like, okay, well, if you get me in contact with Funny Marco, I'll give you $300. So I tagged.

No. So then I posted a screenshot of that to my Instagram story. And I said, Funny Marco, which I didn't think he'd see it because he had 4 million followers. And I was like, that's so many followers. You're never going to see this. I was like, at Funny Marco Marco if you want this girl to win $300 come on my podcast he replied within like a minute and was like okay that's crazy to me yeah you're the luckiest girl in the world I don't know it's crazy and then and then Drake you saw my video with Marco went very yes yeah very. Very viral. I didn't expect it. That's when I first started. Okay.

That's when I became aware of you. That's, that's amazing. I mean, yeah. When Barstool, I think one person from here like followed me. I was like,

Oh, Barstool. I didn't know like anything about it. Yeah. I was just, I was just knowing Barstool as like a name, a name. I was like,

Why would he follow me? He's like, he liked the video. And I was like, okay, I'm going to like shoot my shot to Drake. I don't know how this, I thought the chance of him replying was like a 1%. And then the chance of him saying yes was like 0.000. I was like, there's no way. So I was like,

come on my podcast. I said, when are you going to come on my podcast? And he just was, he said, yeah, he was ready to do it. I flew out there like three days later.

Wow. And then, and then you're off the races. Now you can kind of get anybody you want. Yeah. So what is one thing? So we're going back in time. The first.

And I posted the thing. I got a message from Andrew at WME. He says, like, I'm part of the touring team. Can we talk? I said, okay, because I didn't know what I was doing. They signed with me that night. So you just didn't meet with anybody else? You're just like, this guy hit you from one more person.

Well, I knew a lot. Drake is signed by WME. Yeah, they are huge. But there's a lot of huge people out there. But I was like, they're reputable, and I need a lot. Drake is signed by WME. They're huge. what's this closing thing for that like so that's my research uh with drake i did about um like five minutes of research so why why that's clearly a conscious move by you i i don't want it to be super like it's not supposed to be a real interview i'm not trying to like actually get but then i need to have some things in case it gets really awkward. And I don't know what to talk about. Cause that's happened to me where like, I'm like, Oh God, I didn't prepare at all for this.

And then it's like, I don't know what to ask. And you know, they're not helping me with conversation. And then it's just like, okay, you can only do so much of like awkward silences before you're like, this is not going to be like a good episode.

So I just, I do like to keep a little bit of research. How long, how long do the interviews take? Uh, one to two hours. Oh, wow. So a lot.

And you're in character the whole time for those. Yes. Yeah. That's a long time. It is a long time. But you have to like, so the Drake one, I think it was like an hour. And then the Mark Cuban one, I don't know how long the video ended up being, but that was like a full, I don't think we, maybe we made like a couple of cuts here and there.

But mostly with like funny.
