you can't and I was like oh damn you know what should I turn around whatever and then like 30 minutes later we appealed it and they came back and said oh you know NBA field office got back and said you can i was like okay cool i don't i don't know i don't know what that means but we show up and then even when i was trying to get in uh there i got stopped by some guy as we were like walking onto the court um i was like no you got to take it off and i was like i you know got approved whatever they took us to the back and he was saying like there's no way anyone approved it was like i think it was uh it was like one of the top of like NBA guys that were there And he's like there's this guy would not have approved it and I was like well

gets on the phone and he and he's like uh he's just saying did you approve this guy in this mask to go on on the court and then uh he kind of seems to feed a little bit and then he takes a picture of me and I do like that or whatever when he sent it to him and then he's like uh he's like oh you did I guess we just allow anything then and then like let me walk on the court uh with it and i was like okay well yeah it was a strange thing to say so you did that you wouldn't have gone to the so what you said you did this as marketing like you weren't going to go if you couldn't wear the mask yeah no i wouldn't i mean i wouldn't have gone if i couldn't wear the mask is i mean it's marketing but it's also it's it's also just a fun kind of experience of you know going there and being able to see

people's reactions and everything. What, like, if you didn't wear the mask and sat in those seats, like, does everyone recognize you at this point? Yeah, it's a very very recent thing i actually did it kind of on the way when i was driving to the the heat games when i published

all that stuff and and did when going back to the mask oh i didn't realize that so the mask going back to the mask is brand new yeah it just happened just happened a couple days ago um how long were you maskless uh since october of last year um why the mask again so uh it's i mean it's a long story but i i love the mask branding like just the mask itself is such a unique part of my brand that i had for such a long time and then when i did the face reveal i completely kind of got rid of it and i told people before i was like i want to keep it and i was waiting on this mask is like a it was made by the people who made the spider-man mask and the batman mask and and it's like a custom awesome mask and i was waiting on it to be made the Spider-Man mask and the Batman mask. And I was waiting on it to be made. And so it was being like designed and everything. And then it just took a little longer than I thought. And so I kind of lost that branding. I was like, I need a reason to kind of reintroduce it. Otherwise, it's just weird that I went for so long without the mask. And then all of a sudden, I start wearing it or whatever. And so kind of that's the biggest reason behind it is just a reason to kind of introduce it.

It's like a paper mache mask that you can't even see through. So I could not have worn it out in public or worn it anywhere. That's crazy. It was literally my entire life. When I was a kid was books. I read like a hundred books a year for like four years straight when I was 14 to 18. Um, and then kind of at some point I was like, okay, well I need to, you know, be more realistic. I, um, I started learning the code and that kind of became my thing for my real job. What does that mean? So I learned to code Java and I coded Minecraft games, I guess, mini games within Minecraft for a long time before I did YouTube at all. And then as a more realistic, hey, you need to actually make money. You're not you know, it's hard to make money doing artistic things, I guess, like writing and and I guess music as well. But other stuff like that. And anyway, yes, I mean, I've had a big like drive to writing. A lot of my YouTube kind of became like storytelling, like my first videos were very much like creepypasta kind of type type. Not that, but like documentary style kind of videos. My very initial videos were very like like creepypasta kind of type type not that but like documentary style kind of videos my very initial videos were very like storytelling forward and everything um and even my video editing and stuff is very like storytelling based and so i that's kind of been

my big thing i've never i've never at all until you know three years ago saying anything like at all even in the shower or anything i mean i had no idea how you didn't sing in the shower. No, no, I don't know. I have no honestly I have no idea why I just never I never sang I I was always very like I don't know. I like I like to like dance. How did you explode did you become who you are how did you explode onto the scene uh well so i i was kind of i was working a very normal like uh desk job i guess in uh in 2019 um or at the end of 2018 and i i'm such a like i'm i'm too creative to like i i cannot live without just being like able to just put creative stuff out all the time regardless of what it is whether you know whether it is just like YouTube videos or music or writing or whatever I'm very like uh um the eyeball just fell off of my mask by the way

if you can you couldn't see that brand new mask what the hell it is it is I thought the batman waited all that time for that it was my eyeball um talked a lot of shit about that he'd really talked that mask up for yeah I've been I've paid a lot of money for this thing i gotta i'm gonna have to fix it now um no but uh yes i in 20 in 2018 uh end of 2018 uh i was it was my first time in a long time i was actually just doing having a very normal job obviously before then when i was a kid i i i worked online i did i did did, um, a lot of creative stuff. I did writing, whatever. Um, and I was like, you know, I, I, I don't want to do this. So I saved up, um, $20,000 and, um, in the, at the end of, uh, at the beginning of 2019, I, uh, quit my job and, um, I was going to try

YouTube. I came up with a plan to, um, attempt it before I run out of my savings. And, um, I savings. And I put it together and gave myself until my savings ran out. And if my savings ran out, then I would go back to my job because I was good at it. So I would hope they would take me back. And yeah, so I quit in January of 2019. So what was your plan? Like, that's all great and dandy. Like, anybody can be like, oh, well, I'm going to go do this. But you became one of the bigger people on YouTube. So like what happened what was your plan and why did it work um well i

think there was there was a lot to it and there's a lot that i it was there was a lot a lot that was um very like i don't know some of it i don't want to talk about because i still do to this day and it's you know strategy based and i think that talking about it does change how things work because in my mind like the algorithm is kind of user based. And so if the users change their behavior, then it changes how your strategy can work. But but generally, it's like I just I looked into very meticulous about like descriptions and titles and thumbnails and how videos actually work. Intros like all those things matters. Like it's the little thing. Are you autistic?

I think I'm on the spectrum. I don't know where. You come across as very intelligent and maybe like child prodigy, the way you're talking, which kind of makes sense with everything you're saying right now. I saw Josh. I didn't mean that. I stream very rarely. I stream, like, maybe once every other month once a month if that how many concurrence does like if you were to stream tomorrow like what's an average that you expect uh I think it really does depend on like what I'm doing I think my last my last stream was during a big event when like there was a ton of other people streaming I think I had like 40,000 concurrent or around somewhere around there um but uh but yeah I mean I've had I've had streams in the past during especially during COVID where it was like literally 350 000 people watching at once um but yeah recently it's it's you know under under 100 000 but above like 20 000 cool well
