That's the best news I've had in a month. Raising Canes in Miami live. Let's go. All right, BFFs, new episode. Here we go. We start, I guess, not overly surprising that there was some blowback or drama with the Livvy Dunn and Markel updates, obviously. So we did last week.

Markel just went after Livvy, uh, at the end of the show, kind of like, um, from the clouds, to be totally totally honest just like we weren't really talking about her we had talked about earlier in the show but he's like yeah no the only person i've had an issue or beef with is livy dunn he told the story now from what i've seen it's been a little bit of back and forth i know and we'll get into all i know josh made a video i know livy made a video i don't know if markel has but i'll just go down the sheet livy did send me a dm being like that's bullshit it's like i kind of get it like i but at the same time like what was what he mad at me for us for it's like we didn't markel just went in on you so it is what it is that's like what the show is what are we going to to cut it? It wasn't like we were baiting him.

She didn't reply to that. So here's what we got. BFS posted TikTok. We're caught Markel. Recounting his first meeting with Livvy. Livvy comments on the TikTok denying his side ever happened. Livvy says me. I love Markel. When I met him, we hugged and talked about mutual friends.

I don't remember any other interactions. Markel also comments on TikTok saying he doesn't hate Livvy. It only met her once, but didn't go as smooth as he thought it would. Well, you do hate Livvy, Markel. I don't think he hates her. I think it was like, that's why I thought this thing was kind of funny. Like, it was hello. Like, you can't really hate someone over them saying hello.

no not at all like came out of left field and i could also see markel being like all right let's get like something like juicy for the podcast here and uh going a little little rant about livian a hello even though it's not that big of a deal you know i'm sure he was just trying to get something to say give us something at the end yeah but i mean we've also had him on twice and that was like the most passionate rant that i remember him having like you know i was like taking the headset off and it's like whoa all right um livy's sister also comments on the tiktok defending livy to be fair i was there too if anything we were surprised but excited to see markel since we're waiting online

nothing pretentious or rude just surprised but excited to meet somebody new i didn't even know livy dunn had a sister i will say and then livy went on um with her serious face like right those are her serious glasses i assume oh yes she Those are her serious glasses, I assume. Oh, yes. She's being very serious. So then she went live. Yeah. She toned down the sex appeal and was like, yo, take this is like Walter Cronkite 60 minutes type shit.

Like, I'm going to go serious. It was funny, though, because she was crying on the live. And you know when people can. She cried? Yeah. People can send you things. mean to someone i don't understand he apologized josh was like that you wouldn't do that so i was like why didn't why why is it on like and then barstool reposted but any they'll do anything for a click it's true love the bffs pod like i was on it twice like i support them like dave has come to lsu i just don't understand why they would do this i don't understand why they're doing it to me he twisted because he needed some drama for the pod like i gave okay i get it i did not dodge a handshake okay but why is it always our fault we didn't even say this was not our fault this yeah this was not that's what i was trying to say it was like she she went live and then tried to make it seem to like,

like I called her right after the live. It's like I called her a day after we filmed when it went out, like an hour after it went out. When she texted me first being like, oh, I'm so upset about this, blah, blah, blah. So I FaceTimed her friend being like, oh, it's really not that big of a deal. You and Markel could get grouped in a chat. Like when I've hung out with you, you've been a nice person. I'm sure y'all will get along. And then she just blew up on me in the text and it turned into a big old thing

when it didn't have to but uh yeah that was crazy i like the cowboy effect though i think it's pretty cool when the mustache comes up on it yeah i'll admit too like i didn't pay much like i i'm i don't know like markel does his rant. Livvy sends me that thing. That's sad. She's crying. And then it's like, I'm an old dude. It's like, what am I doing? I feel bad.

It's like, I'm not trying to make people cry. But at the same time, we didn't. If someone comes up BFFs and does a rant, we're obviously going to put the rant in. I will also say, I think they can both have their own like opinion. That's what I think, too. Like Livy could have been. I don't know if she was drunk or Markel was drunk or anything could be a situation like you may not even. I've certainly had people be like, Dave is super rude.

It's like, I don't even know what you're talking about. Yeah. Like Silvana, the first time she claims before the first time we met like i made eye contact with her and was like checking her i was like i didn't even see you i have no idea what you're talking about so you can have certainly markel his version to him being 100 accurate and libya being like why would i ever be rude to you like it so there is that possibility um i think that is probably what happened. And then they reacted a little too crazy and blew it out of proportion.

Yeah. But what is this? Markel posted TikTok displaying what went down following the podcast. And then the DM prior to her live and thought the beef had been squashed. He also claimed she posted their interaction on her close friend's story, but deleted all her messages in the exchange before posting it what's that all about yeah um it was like she was like she was like posting stuff on her close friends on snapchat or whatever i guess that allegedly was kind of like being rude to markel and being mean to markel and the whole point about this argument was she was trying to defend herself

and be like no i'm a nice person I would never have a rude interaction with someone. But then she was like posting shots at Markel behind the scenes on her close friends when she thought she wouldn't get caught for it. And then she did. And this is before any of our stuff? No, this is right after. Like after Markel, because she reached out to Markel,

DM Markel, same way she DM'd you, probably same way she texted me, same way she might have reached out to brie and then no she just said on the live that we were friends got it not not not that real friends i guess um but uh then she uh reached out to everyone else and um markel texted back and you know it was like going back and forth like sorry i didn't mean to hurt your feelings or nothing just like thought that's how the interaction went and so they keep going back for us she like screenshotted it and like cleared out edited out markel's responses so it looked

like or edited out her responses so it looked like markel sent the first text and like put it on the private friends and it was like be so for real right now so it was just kind of like a trolling well that that's no good that's not good no it's not a good look you know when you're trying to defend yourself and be like hey i'm yeah i'm the nice girl okay but and then you're making fun but it's a close friends friends and then if he said that he wanted to use her head as a speed bump and it's like if you think it's your close friends and you're like getting dragged by someone i could see posting something on the private story and being like what the fuck but there was some snitches on the private story well that's the other question how do you got snitches on the private i don't have

close friends i don't do that like me neither like i everything i post is seen to anybody what yep what what constitutes an actual close friend group how what's the limit on that oh you could put a hundred people in there so close friend group yeah i don't understand the close friends either like nobody snitched if you have three people in there yeah if you're if you're posting stuff you don't want to be released that friend group should be like somebody you've known from kindergarten like you should be texting three or five of like your close friends yeah yeah yeah well i all right can i see markel's tiktok because i thought this thing was done but i don't like that part of the story it makes me go back to markel the one thing i would doubt that's

trying to tear down my character if i say, I firmly believe in it and I stand ten toes behind it because all I'm speaking is the truth and facts. The thing is, we spoke after the podcast. You DMed me personally and told me you were sorry about the interaction. You wanted to clear everything up and you were so sorry that things got misinterpreted. You wanted to meet up with me when you came back to LA to get everything clear. I said the film was mutual. You said sorry because everything's been busy with press, competing and everything. And I sympathize with you. But then you decided to take it upon yourself and post it in your private story. And obviously don't try to deny it because if I'm bringing it

up, you know I saw it. But if you try to post it in your private story and say otherwise to what you said in that DM But I digress You got these boys sending me DMs and death threats Calling me all types of fruitcakes and telling me they're going to handle it in different ways Sending me my address of my family house in Georgia and still sending death threats I just don't take that lightly And then you got the internet in an uproar saying that I'm coming for you I never came for you

There's no need to come for you I just said it was my only bad interaction in LA. And you posted a little private story just to confirm what I already had said. And I'm not going to be the person to post a screenshot. You know what you posted, so when people come for you and ask for those screenshots, just be prepared to

bring those up for it just like you was to put them on your private story. But anyway, just tell your family that it's time to leave Deaf First and it's time to leave my family address. and thank you so this beef is not even close to squashed no i think after the private story is that is that markel's like i do those emergency press conference things is that where he does his like in the bathroom what a setup that's a good spot i thought i thought he kind of killed it yeah so i thought this thing was dead apparently not yeah it kind of got deep after the private story stuff

got personal yeah so i i feel bad for both of them i think i think it was just funny because it's over like a greeting like they could have just like that's what i said in my video like y'all could have just settled this out with like a little little text group chat maybe maybe a little face time watch josh's video i saw it but maybe everybody hasn't seen it i was gonna say i feel like i already said everything on this pod that i said in this video but we can watch it again said this especially to josh since he facetimed me after he's like yeah like you would know you would never. You got a lie caught in your throat, Livvy? First of all, Livvy, don't try to make it sound like I FaceTimed you right after the podcast and started apologizing.

Not even close to what happened. Livvy FaceTimed me twice and now she liked Markel the first time she met him and that she's so upset. I was like, well, then me personally, I wouldn't take that. Then she told me how she has to compete this week and people are ripping her up in the comments on social media on an interaction that never even happened. So I'm like, damn, I'll be the homie. you know, reach out, make sure you good, FaceTime her. She's really upset. She cried. I'm like, damn, sorry.

Like, we don't want that to happen. And I told her if the story isn't true, then you can easily just talk to Markel or I can text him or we can talk about it on the podcast next week and it'll all get figured out. She says, thanks, hangs up. I'm like, all right, situation over. Man, was I wrong. She then texts me something along the lines of like don't ever pretend to be my friend again you've ruined my reputation and everything i've worked so hard for again this is over a hello but at that point i was like i ain't

even gonna entertain this or answer this no more it's not worth my time she an hour later apologizes for the last text so we're all good now i think yeah i mean you're all right josh the whole thing's over like uh hello which i would go back to the original that it's probably they're both think they're like 100 right in that yeah markel's like she was a dick and she's probably like i i don't know what you're talking about she probably hasn't like it's hard to be she's such a you know public figure no one wants to hear that about themselves and she is a young girl so i could see being upset about it but the private story stuff that's not a great look no not a smart move i mean i feel like people used to make videos about like ranking meeting the sway boys when we were back in sway and like if people would meet us at you

This story is unbelievably awesome. So Scar girl is like you haven't seen. Savannah hasn't told you about her? No. She's like taking over tiktok like everyone is debating whether her scar is real whether it's fake and like everyone's fighting i will tell you whether the scar is real this is the first time i've heard or seen scar girl can i see some evidence and i will definitively declare
