Hood area of Oregon produced one of Gary Allen’s most intense weekends yet.Gary returns to Bigfoot Society with firsthand details from a remote camp near what he calls Skookum Ridge, where several people reported activity over the same weekend. His skeptical brother watched multiple massive figures moving around camp before a reported 9-to-10-foot figure walked within feet of his SUV.Elsewhere in camp, a father and son reported an 8-foot figure crossing a strobe-lit meadow. Thank you. All right, Bigfoot Society. We've got the privilege of talking to Gary Allen again. Gary has been on the show multiple times over the last few years because he's got some wild things that have happened around the Lolo Pass area of Oregon out there by Mount Hood. and I would really recommend that you go back and listen to those episodes if you haven't already. Wild, wild stuff. Welcome back to the show again, Gary. How are you doing today, sir?

Thank you. Doing good. Doing good. It's great day. Beautiful out here in Oregon. Absolutely. I hope it is the, how are the fires out where you're at? You're able to breathe okay and things of that?

Yeah, cleared out. The fires are on the east side of Cascades. And the smoke kind of blew in for two or three days and air quality got to like 150, 160. The wind shifted yesterday and it blew it all back over. I hear in Primeville, Oregon, there are at 300. I mean, you shouldn't even be outside after like 100. But it's pretty darn smoky there. It's now coming out of the West again and we're just crystal clear out here.

Good stuff, good stuff. So this, we're having to follow up that. because if listeners remember, part of this is you go to the same area every year for your birthday. And you have kind of like a gathering, but it's Bigfoot focused as well. I think all that has been talked about in the last episodes, correct? Pretty sure we talked about that. Yeah, we take the horses up there except we're mid-season, mid-race season for our endurance horses. And it puts a lot of muscle on when you run them up a hill.

side, they get a lot stronger, a lot faster. And so it gets them in really good shape for our next race coming up. Gotcha. And so because of that, you've had a lot of interesting things happen. Those are talked about in the previous episodes, some really close calls recently.

But so this year, you were able to have, you had quite the group go out there, it sounds like. You had a few people with you. Yeah. Actually, I had my brother come up who's a skeptic and Joe B. Lart showed up on Saturday and Cliff Berrickman came up the day after. I wasn't there. He was looking at some of the trackways that we found. But yeah, and then Rob, a gentleman, you introduced me to. He asked if he could come up.

I said, sure. He brought his two teenage boys. The guy's just really good manners, really good person. I'm really glad that we met. He'll be invited every year from now on, any year we go up there, and his boys. Good guy. We've talked for a few hours. Great guy. I'm glad he was able to make it out for that. So you had Joe Cliff, a skeptic individual, Robin, two teenage boys.

And Cliff wasn't with it. He came up the day after to look at some track. And then John, a friend of mine, John, that's a really good friend of Joe B. Larch, they've been going up the Bigfoot Highway for years. John's had sightings on the Bigfoot Highway for years and all kinds of different things have happened. Even as I think it was a week ago, he went camping and had really strange stuff happen. But yeah, all those people were up there. My girlfriend and, of course, are two ponies that we take up.

So, yep. And this is the same individual that had the issue with almost being bucked off the horse up on the mountain, correct? My girlfriend, yeah. Yeah, it reared up when a squatch shoved a tree down about 75 feet up the hill from her. It reared up and almost fell off a cliff backwards. So we don't ride the horse up that side anymore. It's just too dangerous with them being so active up there. I'm afraid that the horse might tumble backwards off a cliff.

And this year, did Tom Powell make it at all or unable to make it? Unfortunately, Tom wasn't able to make it. I think that his wife, I think, has health problems. He's kind of trying to get through. He wasn't able to. He was invited. He wouldn't make it. He's really happy to be invited.

We've had him up a couple of years. Absolutely. So, Gary, you told me a bit about what happened, and it sounds like it got extremely intense. So I would be interested if you could. kind of take us through the events of the weekend, because you are up there for, it's Friday through Sunday, correct? Correct. Correct. Yeah, we go up Friday afternoon and come back on Sunday afternoon. Pretty much every year on my birthday or whatever weekend's closest to it.

Were there a lot of other campers up there at the same time, or was it? No, just you guys. Okay. Pretty much, yeah. We're kind of an out-of-way place, so it's, even though we're next to the road, it's, Not that many cars go by and it's pretty quiet up there. We're not next to the road. We're off it a couple hundred feet, but basically it's kind of fairly close to civilization. There's ridges all over Lolo Pass. We just found one that seems to be pretty active only because we run the horses up and back and that brings them in.

They seem to be really interested in the horses and horse activity more so than just like a high. or a camper. So how soon was it? I mean, you get everyone showing up on Friday. Did things kick off really quickly, or how did things kind of start happening for you this year? Well, Friday night was a big night, that's for sure. That's when we had multiple sightings.

But it was, you know, it kind of, kind of, a slow start because you we roll in and start setting up the corrals and and get the horses all situated get camp set up and then other people start showing up and and we kind of plan out you know we're going to have somebody you know down this way or over that way you know 100 feet away or 50 feet away we start we start setting up camp and and then they start setting up their camps and the way we set it up we're spread out somewhat so that so that we get more coverage of of this area. The thing you run into is the site that my girlfriend likes the most is right by a creek. I mean, and the creek is so loud that microphones and stuff pick up nothing. Now, I've heard

voices, and I'm not the only one, but I've heard voices at night down by the creek. You know, language you don't understand sometimes, but once it was my friend Tom's voice at 3 in the morning and I could hear it over the creek water crystal clear and Tom was dead asleep 200 feet away so it wasn't Tom but anyways so by spreading out some of us can camp further away from the creek over more in these old growth trees and just some real small meadows right next to those that you know these guys come into they're they're really interested in camp you know, if it's something different.

And so we just try to be something different and succeed. We're pretty good at it. Yeah, we wore bright yellow shirts and bright green shirts and run around, making a ton of noise all day, laughing and having fun. And this year, I set up a little surprise for them that actually worked one night. Didn't work the second night, but it worked great the first night. And if you want, I'll get into how that day progressed. Absolutely.

Yeah, I'd say let's get right into it. It's curious how, so you guys, it's, you're not trying to hide at all. I mean, you are, you're talking loudly, you're laughing. It's obvious you guys are there. Yeah. Oh, yeah, we make a ton of noise, and I have game calls that I use when I go up the trails that are extremely loud. Yeah, we're not trying to be quiet at all. in any way, shape, or form.

And we're not wearing anything green or anything, you know, like camo or anything like that, none of that. We're in bright colors, looking like campers, out camping and having fun. But our intent is not to hunt them. You know, we're not out to bag one, unless you're counting them on video. But that's the extent of it. And I think that they pick up on that five. And so it seems to be working virtually every time we go up, we have an encounter or a sighting.

Gary, when you... Not just there. We have sightings elsewhere, too, but that place is only guaranteed, yeah. When you, I just had a question come out of nowhere. So when you are bringing people into this yearly gathering, then are you checking? with them to make sure that they have the same intention as as the rest of the group would have. Like what are your, what, what do you, how do you feel towards Bigfoot is a thing where you're trying to take one down or is that, is that something that you ever do like an interview for

potential people when they come out? Well, the group is always really small. It consists of my friend John, who I've been going up, he's been coming up. He's been coming up there for like five years. Joe B. Lart, who's been coming up there for five years, Joe's wife, Sharon. Joe's other friend Tom Powell, I met Tom, through Joe, and Tom's wife. I met it while they were engaged. She was still his girlfriend at the time, and now they're married.

My brother, I've invited up once or twice. So everybody that I know, I've known for years now, but when I first met him, I did ask, them, you know, what would your intentions be, you know, with these things? I don't, I don't want to see any firearms. Plus, it's illegal to have them to shoot them up there on this particular plot of land. It's a federal piece of property. So, but, but I do ask, you know, you know, and they flat up told me, you know, that they have no intention of ever hurting one.

In fact, some of them are wondering why I keep leaving when we see them. And if the thing's still standing there, why I don't try to talk to it or do hand-prided. Oh, really? Oh, interesting. Yeah. And I just tell them, well, because even though, you know, I keep going back up, the darn things terrify me. So I don't want to be that close to one. But I don't mind, I'm okay with seeing them, you know, 100 feet away or more. I'm good with that.

That's about as close as I think I ever need to get, really. But that's all the closer they seem to come to me. I haven't had any come up real close to me. And I'm kind of actually thankful for that. I don't know that I want to look them in the face, you know, or have them look at my face up close. It sounds like that did happen this year, not to go ahead. But it sounds like there was someone who actually got pretty close.

We'll talk about that in a bit. Yeah, yeah, about a foot button. My goodness. But yeah, take us through how Friday went and how. not and how things progressed, I guess. Okay. So, we, again, we race endurance horses. So we're out like every other weekend.

If we're not camping, we go for a day trip to take the horses up to some trails we can run on. And I have a two-horsepower e-bike, a fat tire bike I've built that I can run with the horse. And so we practice together all over the northwest. Our horses have won quite a few races. We keep them pretty fit. So anyways, we're really used to camping. And we could set up a site really fast, get comfortable. And we have a 36-foot trailer with a big slide.

And it's like a hotel room inside. It's just really nice. Nice for the horses, too. So when we rolled into camp, we set up, we get the horses out. We have portable corrals we can put up. We got them in the corrals. and got them all comfortable water and whatnot. And then after they rest a bit, we walk them out to get their legs stretched out.

But that afternoon, and I'm going to start looking down a little bit because so much happened that if I don't write it down, I'll lose something and I don't want to do that. I was taught by Joe B. Lart and my friend John, after you have an encounter, write down everything you can remember. So you don't forget it because time passes and then you forget a detail that that later it comes to you. Oh, yeah, you know, I remember these strange sounds that we're over here or whatever. And I don't want to lose any of it just because there's so much to it.

You know, even the smallest thing I like to keep notes on. So I have about six pages of notes. Most of it's on Friday because that's when we have multiple sightings. So anyways, the place we go into. to as you've seen on previous videos I call it Skookum Ridge it's it's fairly close to Mount Hood and it's it's on low pass just off the Sandy River there's about a hundred creeks that go into the sandy and this is this area is along along one of the creeks and so anyways we get camp set up and then the

gentleman named Rob that you introduced me to super nice guy I wanted to bring somebody new up that I hadn't had up before And I asked if you knew somebody and you recommended Rob and Rob asked if he could bring his two teenagers. I kind of screened them a little bit just to find out, you know, you're not out to kill one of these things or, you know, I really don't want people shooting at them while I'm around. I like them.

They, so far they've been harmless to me. It doesn't mean all of them are harmless. It's just these ones have not made any attempt to hurt me and they could have dozens of times by now. So that doesn't mean they never will. It just means they haven't to this point. So anyways, I just don't want anybody shooting at them. So Rob seemed like a super nice guy.

He agreed to my conditions. And he showed up to camp in his pickup truck, and he brought bicycles up because I told him bring bikes because we've got to go a wave out is where the most activity is. and so if you want the most activity I'll take you out to where you know these spots are my friend John showed up shortly after and John pulls this small a small trailer has it's really cool little real anyways it's a real small trailer that he could sleep in and it's got a camping stove and stuff mounted on the outside of it off the back and a hatch that

opens it's pretty cool I'm telling you some of this information because we're going to circle back to it because it has meanings here in a bit. So anyways, then after that, my brother showed up. My big brother is retired military. He was in the Army, was in Iraq and Kuwait War, and came back. And a super nice guy. He worked with vets up at Liberty Lake for years, helping him get off drugs and find jobs and do different things. And study psychology.

He's really a super intelligent, super nice guy. Now he's retired and does a lot of photography, he has some X-1 cameras. So anyways, he's a skeptic. He's never seen one. It's not that he didn't think they existed. He's just never seen one, so he didn't know much about him, other than he's heard stories because he's up at Fort Lewis is where he's been at. So he's heard quite a few bigfoot stories. In fact, one or two terrifying ones that I can tell some other time.

But so anyways he showed up in his SUV. He decided he's gonna sleep in back to that instead of staying in a tent. And so we kind of spread out a little bit, everybody got comfortable. And we started, we ate dinner and I put up a little whiteboards. My girlfriend says, everybody always asks you, you know, what do we do next? What do we do next? And honestly, even though this is kind of an expedition of sort. It's pretty informal. We're just taking our horses up to

exercise them and camping and have fun and it just kind of grew into more than that. And what's nice is none of my friends want to step on my toes when it comes to, you know, what type of thing we're going to do while we're there to attract them. Because the horse is attractive, we take the horses out and try to attract them back in and then after dark things typically happen in camp they kind of follow the horses back to camp so and that happens pretty much every year we go there's a lot of bigfoot horse activity up there a lot of people on horse have seen them one lady got fucked off a horse and in the middle of the river and the horse took off went the wrong way it's pretty common for trail riders and endurance riders

to go up there and practice. So, like I said, there's been multiple people that have broke camp and went home after a siding and then told, like, the guy down at the surface station just down the hill. They're getting a heck out of Dodge because of something they saw up there. Also, Cliff Bergman, the guy that works for him at his museum, he had a siding and really, pretty much right in the same camp area we camp in. Right. Yep, a couple hundred feet away.

He had one, I think it was like six years ago, something like that. And I mean, maybe not exactly, but right about then. Right in the same camp area that we like to camp in. It's really nice, really nice area. It's between two creeks, and it's really cool. This year, I decided to try something different. And what I decided to do is I was going to put up a two-man tent. I called it the bait tent.

So what I did is I put it kind of away from us further down the creek on this little ridge right above the creek. It's like maybe 17500 feet up the embankment above the creek, but overlooks the creek. And what I did is we just rebuilt our swimming pool and I got some solar lights for it that flash all different colors and stuff. And they got this really big one that it stays on all night once you get it charged up. And it's bright. I mean, it's super bright. And it flashes like six different colors. So I put that in there.

And it's got a sensor that it dark, it automatically turns on and it light, it turns off. So anyways, I put that inside the tent. And I should have put a microphone in there the first night. Honestly, we had so much stuff. I couldn't find them. and then everything started happening, and I just spaced it. But, so anyways, I put that in, and we also put some snacks out on the table. We put a table next to it and made it look like a camper was there, had drinks and things out,

just to see if something would mess with it. And that was the only light in that area. I also brought up other lights, and so over where Rob was camping, he was on a hillside away, from me slightly over a ridge and him and the two boys had backed their truck into this spot and they had their bikes leaned against some trees and they had a table and chairs out and I put a strobe light facing down towards the forest because they were the closest to Skookum Ridge and they have this like 100 foot patch of grass between them and the and the big trees so I put the strobe light facing down towards those trees and and then they could be seen from the

of Skookum Ridge because it's kind of open right there so the light would shine all the way up that ridge So I have this little it's a little Halloween strobe that runs on double a batteries But that darn thing you put two batteries and it'll probably run a week straight But it just flashes real bright strobe and I'll get to why this matters later and then and then I put in two more pool lights over there that were smaller Or three three full lights that were smaller one of them I sat on one of the bicycle seats and the bike was leaning against a tree. It was really sturdy where it was sitting and I set this light on it. I mean, it would be really hard to knock it over, but it did get knocked over by

something that night. So I'll keep moving forward. So anyways, so got light set up in their camp, got light set up down at the bait thing, and then our trailer has LEDs along it and we leave those on at night. So lots of, we're well lit across. you know this big area across the whole area and over over the ridge and my brother was was he had his SUV parked about I'd say it's about 80 feet away from our trailer kind of there's a small like small ravine between him and the bait tent and not many trees is pretty clear line-as-sight and so he could see the bait tent and he could see the bait tent and he could see the table that

was set up next to it. So it starts to get darker. We ate dinner and then the night plan was to take the bikes and the pony out and make some noise and then come back in. We're gonna go up what I call the front side of Skookum Ridge, which is the safe side. It's a really wide trail and no cliffs to fall off of, or at least not many.

it's pretty safe safe way to go and because I had two teenagers with me I wanted it to be fairly safe so I take the I take the boys with me I keep looking back and I'm on you know I'm electric powered electric assist and so I'm you know not even breathing hard going up this hill and these kids are just huffing and puffing and it was it was it was almost humorous but all the way up I'd given them I have a coyote call and I got crow calls I got all these game calls and we're just blowing them left and right just making a ton of noise and we're wear fluorescent yellow shirts and laughing and I had them yell at each other you know in fun you know not yell at each other but with each other making jokes and different things and we're just we're just trying to

have fun going at this ridge we went about we're probably a mile out from camp and we're way up in in this ridge but tons of switchbacks it's really steep and heavily heavily wooded heavy heavy brush in there too and we get we get pretty far up and I keep thinking I've been up there several times and I couldn't remember how much further it was off up this one ridge where off the other side is a huge valley you can see across to another ridge that is by some by some almost waterfalls it's it's so rocky and so much water passes over it they're almost like waterfall but anyways I was trying to get up to that point but I could see I was wearing those kids out and man they were huffing and puffing and I asked you want to go back they're like no let's keep going it's like are you sure and they're oh yeah I did that about four times and about the fifth time they're huffing a bus and yeah let's let's go okay we're turning around I don't want to get in trouble with your dad so right and and because of how heavily wooded it was I mean it looked pretty dark in there

I'm thinking, oh crap, I mean, the sun went down fast, you know, way faster than I, you know, I thought it would. But it was how thick the trees were. It wasn't really the sun had gone down, because it was still plenty of light at the bottom of the hill, but not up in there. So we turn around, we start to go down the hill, and that's where it all began. So we're coming off this ridge, and you have to go slow. It's just so steep. You'll burn your brakes up, and the kids were walking anyways. was too steep for their break.

And we started, we got like three quarters of the way down the hill. And about the last quarter, we started hearing toad noises, like a single crook, like, but it didn't sound like a toad, but it's only animal I could equate it to that was even close would be a toad. But it would do it one time and then no more. like we'd hear like a hundred feet away off to the side here and then like keep going down the trail and and like two minutes later over to the other side of the trail we'd hear and like it said it's way deeper than that, way deeper, and a little bit more like a toad. But I've been going up there since 2019, and I've never heard a toad up there before. There's these little tiny tree frogs running around

that broke down by the creek, but nothing up in the trees. There's no water for, you know, half a mile. I don't know why a toad would want to be in the deep force where there's no fluid. So anyways, the toads followed us down the hill. So we're going down the hill, and then every once you hear one side or the other you hear crap and then after a while you hear rap but never never two in one spot like toads normally will do a second call these didn't they just made a single call so thinking okay well that's that's just odd that's strange never heard toads up here before and they don't really sound like toad but that's the only thing i can equate it to and um so we get back down to camp and once we got out of the thick trees it wasn't pitch black anymore it

was a little bit of light left and we crossed the the rest of these little meadows and ravines and stuff and then got back to got back to camp so back at camp we're sitting there talking you know and the kids dad asked them hey did you guys see anything and and they're like no I didn't really see anything but we heard these strange toads and then all of us sudden out of nowhere this toad call comes like maybe 200 feet down the hill from where their truck is not near water just down a hill and then just one one croak that's it and then about we're talking to stuff a few minutes we're like oh yeah

that we heard these weird toad and about five minutes later off to the other side over here, down the hill again from us. Single croak, never two, never two in one spot, and it's like the toad would move and go to a whole new spot. But he never sat in one place and was trying to call in a mate or anything. It just would croak a single time and that was it. So maybe toads, I don't know. I've never heard him up there before.

Really strange sounding. I have the second night, I have them recorded. So I'll give you some tone calls. Oh, awesome. That would be great. Yeah, I should have a couple recorded for it. The second night, I put a mic over where the kids were and stuff. I didn't want to go too heavy with electronics the first night

because you put up game cams and they don't come around. You put up a microphone and they avoid it too, mostly. Now, if you put up a microphone where there's lots of other stuff like people stuff, they may miss it. But like if you set it out on a stop or whatever, I've had something come up and knock it over and knock the batteries out of it. I don't know how you get it open to knock the batteries out, but somehow the squirrel or whatever figured out how to open the little door on it, too. So that was strange. But so I didn't go real heavy with electronics because we had people on the ground and whatnot.

That was good enough. Plus I was trying the lights out. So, so we, we get to our campsites and I go over and hang out with the, you know, with the kids and the dad for a while. And they're cooking up some dinner. And I just said, well, I'm going to, I'm going to go back and make some more food. And my friend John is back there, my brother and my girlfriend are back at our camp. And they're sitting around. I brought a propane fire thing that I got.

So we have a fire pit and we're sitting around laughing and talking about the toads and stuff and You can see you can clearly see the bait tent it's like it's less than 200 feet away from I think it's about a hundred feet 150 feet away from our our setup and it's just flashing bright and gosh that thing's so bright you can probably see it from space And every time it flashes the bright colors it lights up the whole creep bed for several hundred feet around it and it's pretty cool but so anyways starts to get a little bit later and now it's about 11 or so and I I agree with my friend John that we should get some rest and we can wake up you know late and night and listen for noises or you know we both have thermals and so we can run the therms and see if

see anything which we never did with the therms the whole time there which was strange but it happens so anyways we we everybody crashes out my brother decided to park on the other side of my friend John close to the bait tent he's he's like 80 feet away from it and he's parallel to it so all this side windows on his passenger side are facing towards the bait tent and he can't sleep so he stayed up all night basically sat up and I don't know he's reading or what he was doing but he stayed up all night and he was he focused on the bait tent he's kind of watched him and so so most of us go to sleep my

brother stays up and and rob and his kids they go to sleep in the back of in the back of their truck they have a I think it's a long bed anyways they have sleeping bags in a map back there so they they're hunkered down it's an extended cab but he can't really sleep inside the cab much it's not real comfortable so and they had their bikes laid it against some trees and stuff for the night so anyways everybody kind of kind of lays down and then things start happening so at about at about at about midnight or actually I think it was about 1 a.m. my brother said he said he said he

movement down by the bait tent and what he saw was figures walking around the tent and he says they were too big for people too massive and they were jet black all monotone you know and obviously not people he said they had long arms cone heads big big and big shoulders big and individuals walking around the tent. And he thought they were pretty big. He estimated like eight feet tall, seven, eight feet tall. Pretty easy, really broad.

The light was behind them, though, so all he could see with silhouettes. But it tripped him out because he didn't really expect to really see any of these things up there. And like I said, he's a skeptic, and his whole family are skeptics. They laugh about it and joke about it. about it well not anymore so anyways he he's watching these things and he said that over the next couple hours they would leave for a while then they'd come back and walk around the tent they'd be looking down there's a clear patch on the top of the tent it has like four sides to it and one of them has a triangle that's

clear so you can actually see in the tent from right above it and they kept leaning over and looking through that And he said so over the next couple hours he couldn't sleep at all because he saw these silhouettes and He's he's just tripping. He didn't know whether to leave or what to do You know he he he doesn't carry any guns or anything he's after the war he went he just doesn't want anything to do with him But so his only thing he could do is really leave But he decided to hang hang out because they kept leaving and then they'd come back, but they stayed over there by the bait tent,

and they kept coming up hill and then walking around the tent, and they'd go over to the table and mess with stuff on the table, and then go back to the tent. So he watched it, you know, and I don't know the exact time frame. From what I remember, I think he said it was between 1 and 3 o'clock. Then he said there was just a, you know, it was just dead quiet. And he had his windows cracked, so he had air, airflow and he said it was just dead quiet you couldn't hear a thing just silent

which was weird because there's there's frogs down by the creek and those little ones that you know one alone doesn't make much noise but when you get a thousand of them they do and he he says he really hear them he just he just he said it was like you know just silent so anyways and and of course he's up on kind of away from the big tent is at the top of this this ridge, it goes to the creek, and he's kind of on the other side of another small ridge, about 80 feet away, 70 feet away from it. So I don't know if the sound from Frog to Currie there, but I would think it kind of would. Anyway, so he said it's dead quiet, and he hadn't seen him for like a half hour.

They stopped kind of circling the tent, that that activity kind of died out about a half hour. and then this happens he's he's looking down the hill he has his back at resting against the back of the front seat and he's turned facing the the camp and then all of a sudden something bumps the side of his truck his SUV and he said it bumped it hard it just rock the whole thing And he looked over and he saw what he said was about a nine to ten foot tall big foot walk right alongside that right right alongside his glass like brushing down the side of his SUV. And he says you you know, he couldn't see his shoulders or anything because it's way above his Highlanders actually the glass sits pretty high up. You know, it's like six. I'm going to ask me about six feet there to the top of the windows in the SUV in the back. the side windows you know in the passenger seats and driver seat we said you all you can see was it's you know like its elbows

as it meant by and and like its lower chest and he said it was just just massive just massive and you know arms you know the size of telephone poles just just huge and anyways it walks alongside of its rig And he's just terrified and he's watching it walk past and it gets out in front of his SUV and just keeps walking straight because the the gravel road there kind of hooks off to the left. Well, it kept going straight instead of staying on the road, which he was on the side of. It went straight down into some trees and about 100 feet away it disappeared into the trees completely because, you know, there's so many trees there. He watched him walk off and he said, you know, four foot, five foot wide shoulders, comb, shaped head, jet black. And off it went down into the trees. They had a clear view of it for an extended period of time.

It was right at the front of his, you know, right alongside his rig. So it was right, it was just on the other side of the glass from him. And, you know, he was on the passenger side. It went down the driver's side, you know, three feet away. And it was, he said it, he thought it was brushing against the car, but it was that close. But it might have, he thought maybe because it was so massive. We looked the next day and there's dirt down the side of his car because he went down a dirt road, but there's no sign of anything brushing up against it.

Okay. So anyways, the thing walks by, it walks. walks off, walks down the hill. And it's just an overload for him. It was just too much. As soon as it went down in the trees for after about five minutes, he hopped out of the back seat, hopped in the front and drove off. He just said he was out.

Like he left. Yeah. Wow. And, and dude, he fought in the, you know, Kuwait. Oh, sure. And, yeah, he's seen some action, but he said those things. It was just too much. brought back a lot

for a woman and I mean he's such a wonderful guy, such a great guy and for him to to, you know, be that, you know,

that much of an overload it was just, it was just a lot. Is he okay now or? What's that? Is he okay now or? Oh yeah. Yeah,

he was fine the next day. He just said it was just too much right in that moment. So in that moment he hopped in the front seat and drove off and he brought his camera gear and stuff again,

he's photographer. So he decided he would just because he didn't want to leave. you know without saying goodbye and you know after all the effort we made to help him get there and everything but um so he went up uh went further up towards mount hood went up to timberline and watched the sun come up he got the golden hour photos of the mountain wood snow on it he also drove down to a nearby lake and um got photos of the golden hour on the lake and stuff just beautiful photos i mean he's such a good photographer and then later that morning he came back

to camp and uh to tell us what happened So I'll finish with his story and then I'll move on with what else happened because there was more than him just seeing one other people did too. So anyways, so that morning he comes back and he tells us what happened and he's like, I don't know what to tell you. I really didn't think I was going to see one and then I see multiple. and he just says it's such an overload. I had to leave. It's just too much. He goes, you know, I just didn't know what they were going to do, you know.

And this one was so big. It could basically rip the truck and half stuff. You know, if it wanted me, it could have just reached right in and grabbed me. So he's just, I had to leave. You know, it's just too much. So anyways, he had fun. He said he had fun going up the hill and getting the photos and stuff. And he was in a good mood when he got back.

He could still tell he was shaken. But, you know, it wasn't. he hit it pretty well. So anyway, he, he says the hard part for him is going to be this. His family laughs at the fact that I say I've seen these things and they get a kick out of it and they make fun of it. And I invite him every year to come up. And last year was the first year he came up and he didn't have a sighting, but some of us did. And then this year, when he came up, they're making fun of them.

Well, you be sure to see one, get a picture, you know. And so now he has this sighting and he just goes, Gary, he goes, I have to go back to this to, you know, my wife and her parents' house. And the first thing they're going to ask me when I come through the door is, did you see one? Did you see one? And he said he's just going to look away and tell him, I do not want to talk about it. Wow. So he's just not even going to get into it with him because they're, you know, they're skeptics and, you know, they don't think he's crazy. It's terrible witnesses have to go through that, you know, like it's just, it's the worst.

It is, but, you know, now he gets me a little bit more, you know, because I lost a job because of this hobby. Just because I mentioned, I've seen him, you know, the owner was like, well, you know, this is weird. I'm not comfortable. So, anyway, back to what happened. So my brother pulls out about 3.30 in the morning. So it's still like about an hour or more to light. And that spot that he was in was like the best spot to see the baked tent, right? So this is what's where it gets really weird.

So my friend is between us and my brother's truck with his, he has the SUV, he's pulling this. this small camper trailer. It's like four feet tall and you climb into it and it's got a like a clean-sized mattress inside of it and all the camping stuff is in a hatch on the back of it. John's in his camper there and he has the door open on that side. Well the door's like three foot tall and about three foot wide. Anyways he has it wide open. He's letting airflow in that night plus he's listening for anything that happens at the bay tent. He slept through all that activity but until this so about 3.30 in the morning this is what happened at 3.30 in the morning a black SUV pulls in um like suburban SUV and uh solid black um and it pulls in of any place in this area

that that we're at because this road kind of wraps around and there's tons of parking spots and stuff of any place to park it parks in the spot my brother was in and it turns on this flashlight which John John's ex-military John was a Marine John has seen pretty much any kind of flashlight there is he said he's never seen anything like this he said it was a white light that shot a white beam straight forward like you could see the light even though it wasn't dusty it was so bright just kind of lit and maybe it was dust but he said it just lit up as a spotlight but brighter than any spotlight he's ever seen and it looked handheld he said and it shined right on right on the bait

tent it didn't shine it anywhere else but just around the baked tent and the baked tent that was it so this thing comes in and john could hear it coming it didn't even slow down anywhere it just stopped right at the baked tent shines its light at it and then the weirdest thing happened the light my my expensive pool light solar light goes out like shut off stops it's still dark as soon as it gets it with light it you know it would turn off for a second but it would turn right back on it soon as the light you know plus you have to have a bright light to shine through a tent wall to shut this thing off because I had it pointed in the other direction so I don't know it's a weirdest

thing so John's watching this rig It rolled its window down, shine the light. It shining around. It beamed it for, he said about a couple minutes, and then it shut the light off and then drove off. Never came back, never came around again, never saw it the next day, never saw it. Never saw it before that, never saw it after that.

It just came into camp, into the road we're on, and stopped at the bait chance to shine a light right at it. It was the strangest thing. And I couldn't get that light to work again. I had there being they're being tracked or something I this is wild stuff I I think someone is tracking tracking the big foot in these areas based on the other conversation I had recently with a but how would it know I don't know I don't know yeah so so anyways because I mean we had lights out elsewhere going too and it didn't

stop to look at those it just stopped at the bait temp where the activity was where my brother just had the you know saw those things walking around it and then the one you know oh um one last thing about my brother and then and then all uh then we're off him but um that next day when um when he came back and he was telling me you know what happened with his truck we walked around his truck to see you know something brushed up against it if there's a lot of dust on it uh see if there's any handprints or whatever um something had torn a piece off his roof rack um my brother is a fanatic about washing his car he probably washed it on the way back to town but he would know if that piece was missing

because he watched his car before he came up and he's owned this thing for three years now never had a problem nothing wrong and to get that piece off i mean you'd have to get a finger you'd have to get a flathead screwdriver under it basically to pop it and something just ripped it right off so and it was it's a plate it's about it's about five inches long and about six inches deep and it kind of kind of teen bone shape but anyways if something managed to pop that off and he thinks that that loud bumpy herd it was reached over and grabbing that and popping it off but that piece is gone now we made we made fun of it we said yeah it's probably sitting in a big nest up

there on top of Scooteridge you know but I'll get back to that in a minute so so anyways uh so that was that end of his experience okay so that's this is Friday night still so Friday night not only did did see these things and have have one bump his rig and rip the piece off his rig um uh Rob had had had a sighting so so rob and his kids is you know the same night about midnight one o'clock in the morning um ish and and I'm gonna try and tell tell it the way I heard it I'm you know I may have times off or something but Rob sir this is this is pretty much in a nutshell this is what happened I had a

strobe light set up that was shooting down towards the tree line and I had three colored lights one sitting on a bicycle seat and two one on a picnic table and one on a post down below the strobe light so the strobe lights like probably about 40 feet down from his truck off to the side kind of shooting out where It gets maximum exposure of this small meadow that has heavily wooded old brook right next to it. The light was really lightened that baby up, but I pointed it to where it would shine up on Skookham Ridge, so if anything's up there, it might attract it down. Well, it did.

So basically, they woke up from a light sleep hearing tree branches break. not just a couple but I mean some real loud breaks woke him up and I don't I can't remember if Rob woke up or his son woke up first but one of them woke the other one up and they both looked over sat up and looked over the top of the truck rail because they were asleep down in the truck looked over the truck rail down to where the strobelight was flash flashing and they saw a figure he said it was It looked like it was about eight feet tall and it walked from left to right across the meadow. He said it was that they watched it for like 75 feet and it walked between two trees,

really brushy smaller fir trees but walked between them and it disappeared. But they both saw it and they're both just tripping on it and the young, I think it was his youngest son, the youngest teenager is saying, I want to sleep in the cab. I want to sleep in the cab. And dad's going, no, you're better off out here. You know, the thing's so big, it just reached through the cab. Great kids, really, really nice, well-mannered. He has great kids, really smart, too.

So anyways, they're like tripping. You know, they saw this thing, and but they managed to settle back down. they laid back down so they could listen, you know, for any more tree breaks or, you know, any noises whatsoever. About an hour or so passes by, and the older teenager hears some tree branches breaking, and he sits up and looked over the bedrail. And this is a whole different event, and the other two people are asleep, and he never spoke with him about what they saw or anything. I don't know if he just played dead or what he was doing. Yeah, when these others, I think the others were whispering, though.

I don't think they were talking out loud. Anyway, so where he hears the tree branches breaking and stuff is where the first one had walked through between two like 25 or 35 foot tall, really bushy fir trees. He hears the tree branches breaking there and he sits up and he looks over the bed and he sees one standing next to the tree. and he says it was like about an eight-footer jet black the strobe light would light it up you know well it light up the tree behind it you can see the silhouette of the black and I believe he said it had a cone-shaped head but it had yellow glowing eyes and he says the eyes just just a little bright yellow I've never seen eyes shine before all the sightings I've had, I've never seen him. But he said it was definitely eye shine and it was yellow

and it was, you know, eight feet off the ground and he could see, you know, the figure that it was coming off of. So that scared him so bad because it was just standing there, just staring. That one scared him so bad that he crept real quietly out out of the bed of the truck and slipped into the cab of the truck. And he slept in the cab the rest of the night. I don't blame them. And so then that was, that was, I think, yeah, I think that was everything that happened on Friday. So Saturday comes around and we're having breakfast and these boys are excited, man. And Rob's excited.

And everybody was talking about the activity that happened the night before. And we're still. waking up and I'm making coffee and making coffee for everybody and and I could I could hear everybody who's already up there was a commotion going sun was up and they were you can just tell they were so excited that what they saw you know having a siding and everything and I woke up and made coffee and then they came over to our campsite and they told me you know what I just told you basically everything about their siding about the time they get done doing that my

brother rolls in and he he tells about what he saw and then not long after that uh joe b lark shows back up he he showed up the day before for a quick visit and then took off well uh he showed back up with his tent and all his camp gare he was going to come up in camp after all um we didn't think he was going to make it but he made it he made it anyway it's always fun having joe up there uh he always makes way too much good food and it shares it with everyone so i i don't mind sharing it's an amazing cook and it's just fun um So anyways, we went out and we looked, see if we could find any tracks, there's no tracks anywhere.

Tracks around the tent, no tracks anywhere. I did find up this really steep, mossy, covered ridge right next to where the tent is that drops down to the creek. I did find a trackway. I'll circle back to it here in a bit. And the steps were about six feet apart, and it appeared like something dug in like a human dug in with his toes and took six foot steps if a human had you know feet that are you know seven inches wide but anyways so I found found one track way and then noticed that all the food I'd put out the night before was gone all of it gone and the plate was right where I said it hadn't moved an inch and the fork was jammed down

in between the table in a strange way and the cans were right where I left them everything else was right where we left it so the plate didn't move but it was empty and it had a piece of steak on it had a lot of steak ribide juice because I cooked rib eyes I left it just full of ribide juice and it was it was lit clean I mean it was dry there was no sign of oil nothing I mean completely lick dry which I just found amazing I kept it you know if you ever have somebody that wants some Bigfoot DNA or want to run something that possibly has it I put it in a plastic bag and I have it frozen if somebody ever wants to

run DNA that listen to this channel you're welcome to run this one I I have eyewitness that was saw him walking around this table so and I can't think of anything that would lick a plate and put it right back to where it was Wow. So you have a frozen plate that probably has DNA on it. Yes. Oh, my goodness. They let it. So sure. I believe so. Yeah. We'll be in touch about that. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Well, yeah, I've got some ideas. That's really interesting, Gary.

Yeah. And I have a witness that they're around the table. I have a military expert that saw them right there. Now, did the experts see them lick the plate? I don't know that he did, but they were right there, multiple bigfoot's right there, and the plate's clean. And the plate was not moved. And it had like rib-eye trippings on it, right? Yeah, and it had small pieces of rib-eye on it to begin with, but they were gone. It had rib-eye grease, probably a quarter-inch deep, that covered

like eight inches or I mean the entire bottom of the plate and it's all gone all of it is gone they must like barbecue so so anyways yeah I got the plate it's frozen in plastic never touched it just put it put it in a plastic bag and froze it so yeah if somebody wants some Bigfoot DNA I got some probably be something to look into hopefully my house doesn't get broken into now but It's not in the house. It's down to the barn. Anyway, it really is down to the barn. So anyways, yeah, so the bait tent worked, you know, that night anyway.

And we couldn't find any, you know, any discernible tracks. So little bits and pieces, but you couldn't really say it with a track, you know. Lots of flattened ground, but nothing discernible. So Saturday was weird too. We get Joe all settled in. Everybody has some lunch and stuff. And we're all enjoying the day. The kids are out riding their bikes.

And my girlfriend decided she's going to walk one of her horses down by the creek. There's a trail that kind of wraps around. and there's a creek crossing on a thousand feet below our camp and you have to there's lots of tons of trails back in there though and she just walked the horse on these trails and was walking this pony this pony hasn't been under saddle yet we're training it right now it's one of her up-and-coming race horses and so it did its first creek crossing it's never done one before and its life and it did so well it was just really impressive but though and it's it's being very calm and it's just it's doing what it's supposed to do and then it gets across the creek and all of a

sudden um the loudest power knock um that that you could imagine happened about 50 feet away and some in some really thick brush just on the other side of the creek it was so low loud, my girlfriend said there's no way somebody with a baseball bat could do that. It was like 10 times louder than a baseball bat hitting a tree. I am just, it was a, it shook the ground. It was a power knock. And, you know, and I don't know if these things take a rock and hit a tree to do that. I don't know how they do it, but anyways, the knock was so loud,

scared the daylight out of the horse, and the horse bolted instantly, ran up the trail, and then it realized that my girlfriend was back behind it. him and he doesn't know where he's asked. So he stops about 100 feet up the trail. And he's shaking a little, he can tell he's just nervous and looking around. He's looking right where that knock was, the ears are up, and he's looking right at. And she walks up to him, calms them down, and then they keep walking up the trail. Well, she heard knocks, tree knocks all the way up on the other side of the creek.

Eventually it comes around and there's a bridge. You can cross and she crosses the bridge back to the road that, you know, that we're camping on and so that happened and then from then the rest of the day on we could hear knocks down down across the creek the rest of that day into the evening you could hear knocks all every every couple hours or so and you'd hear more of them like if one of us would go out on a trail any direction if you left the camp in any direction you'd start to hear knock down down by the creek down in this area across the creek from us and so that was that was that was that was kind of weird

so I went ahead for the second night I just said I was gonna set microphones out and I did I set I set one in the bait tent and I set one over by the team over where the toads were and I'm pretty sure I got toad noises on tape I'll I'll give them to you if I if I find them You know and about that some people are like well what are you know now right now? Honestly, I've been doing this for I don't know how many years now and I'm not trying to make money off of it I'm not you know not really yeah and I'm interested it for me it's more the being right there and having this happen is the exciting part to me

having evidence of it it doesn't matter what evidence I I present people aren't going to believe it anyway so I just don't care about that much other than yes I do try to gather it I think it's fun But you know I'm not trying to prove anything So give or take it is it is and you know the bad thing is I have years of video with encounters of these things With sightings with with a video of one pushing a tree over and and The one I'm about to get to I took video of this night to something you know another And I haven't posted them yet, but I'm going to this winter, I'm going to upgrade my site, Bigfoot Research Project on YouTube. And I'll upload all of this up there just so it's all in one place and then everybody can see it.

But anyways, to get on with the day, it's starting to get, starting to get darker in the afternoon. And I asked the kids if they'll go with me and Rob if they'll go with me up the back side of Skooka Mary. because that's where the most activity is or we're going to pull them in on Saturday night that's where it's going to happen from and my girlfriend says you know let's take the pony so she gets on she gets on our older horse our our our champion and she's she rides it and she's running behind us on the way in I'm out front and I got Rob and it's two sons behind me on bike and we go it's about a mile out to where the water crossing is the first river and you go across these meadows where

we've had sightings before in the meadows on the way there and there's nothing going on in them but we're making noise the whole way there again you know crow calls coyote calls just making just a ton of noise laughing you know yowling each other bright bright yellow shirt you know bright bright green you know not hiding anything not being sneaky whatsoever and the horse is coming up behind this and you can you know a thousand pound horse you can hear from a distance you know if you're standing anywhere near them you could feel them go by so anyways horse pounds by us and we get down to the creek and decide to make which I've done in the past make a tepee out of stick you know six foot tall

sticks and put some cross limbs through it and I put bait on it I put apples and cookies and stuff on that so anyways we do that and I get I get it all baited and whatnot and my girlfriend went ahead and crossed the river on her horse to the other side well there's two more before you go up the back side of the scooka bridge and she was going to go ahead and cross all three just because we like keeping the horse you know in shape and the more water crossings you do the easier it is to get them to cross water like especially when you're racing so we want to want her to do as many crossings as we can so she crosses the

river which is the biggest she gets starts going towards the second one and the horse is startled it rears up and spins around and runs back to the river does that river crossing comes back to our side and keeps looking back and my girlfriend's going there's something right there there's something just on the other side of the river something's going on this horse are is not afraid of bear it's not afraid of cougar we see them all the time it doesn't care for them you know don't get me wrong but it doesn't it won't rear up so anyways whatever it was it didn't care for it so we're all looking across we're up on this

we're up on a ridge the the rivers down below us we're probably I don't know 50 75 feet up this ridge looking down at the river which is about I don't know 70 80 feet across it's about three feet deep and and up the other side is it and that it's probably 20 feet tall and then it flattens out and then there's ridges just just to the side of it that go up like 7,500 feet that start heading up the hill that you know start going up the mountain and I've heard whoops up in up on those ridges right above the trail where the horse goes I've heard them several years in a row didn't hear anything then I thought I heard like some tree branches breaking and I look over

and I see a silhouette on the other side and it's probably it's between the first and the second river and it's up on up on this ridge off to the left it appears to have its back to us it's getting you know it's right at twilight so it's fairly dark in there but I can make it out I can see if it was a big foot okay because I'm assuming it was if it was a big foot it had to be at least least nine feet tall maybe bigger it was massive shoulders shoulders would be about five feet wide the head was you know right on the shoulders no neck and it came up to a cone head it appeared to have its back to us it was jet black

looked like covered in black hair but it was a ways away I mean it was you know 200 feet away and I could see between there's these these limbs on this tree right next to me and there's a couple trees on the other side of the river that um you know the the base of the trees like four feet around or so there it's really old growth there and i could line it up and i could see it very clearly um from right where i was standing if you move off to the sides you can't see it if you move down you can't see it you have to be standing right where i'm at so i grabbed one of the boys and i told them i told everybody and then come here and

one of the boys came over and I pointed and he goes, I see it. I see it right there. And brought the second boy over. He says, I see it. It's right there. Brought Rob over. I see it. It's right there.

No way. Rob says, I'm going to walk towards it. So he starts walking down the embankment and he gets about 20, 30 feet down, like halfway down. And he yells up, no, it's a, it's a bird. Burntstone, or a root ball, a burnt root ball. And I'm telling him, dude, there's no way a root ball is shaped like that. He goes, well, that's what it looks like from down here.

And I go, I go, well, you can't see it from down there. You're below the hill. You're below the line of sight. He goes, well, that's what I think it is. I go, okay, I'm, you know, whatever. I'm not, I'm not going to argue with you, dude. I got a video of it right here because I had it on GoPro. And we'll see.

We'll see what it is. Wow. That's wild. So we turn around. We decided, okay, well, let's get out of here. The horse is, like, already gone. And I told those guys, I got to catch the horse. I got to go be with my girl.

I'm not going to let her be alone on this trail. I could hear the horse moving off. So she wasn't that far away from me, but, you know, I got electric motor on my fat tire bike, and I can catch it pretty quick. I can go about 25 miles an hour on that thing. So anyways, I caught up to her and she goes, yeah, a really creepy feeling back there. Horse will not go anywhere near that area for the rest of the night. So just why I'll have back to camp.

And she goes, I'll hang out here in the meadow with you if you want. And I was like, sure, you know, we can hang out. We'll wait for the kids. So we're hanging out there. And then one of the kids came up the trail and he's like, Dad said I could come with you guys. And he's like, yeah, always, you know, you're always well. So he catches up. So I'm looking across the meadow and I see a figure standing across the meadow from us.

And I'm like, what is that? And I got camera on it. You know, it's in the tree line on the far side, but it's getting so dark. You really, it's really hard to make out trees or anything else. But this looked like a humanoid figure. I'd say about seven foot tall kind of. lanky standing there so the other boy and Rob catch back up to us and I'm going dude look right over there right over there and the boys are going we don't

see it you know we don't see it but we want to go and I was like all right we couldn't leave you know it's not a problem we'll go and so we turn the horse horse starts heading out and so we're starting to pull away and Rob goes well I'm going to walk towards it okay good for you You have fun with that. I got to catch the horse. I'm going to take your boys back to safety here. So here we go.

And he's, yeah, no problem. So one of the boys stayed right where he was, the older boy did. And Rob started walking across the meadow. But it's so dark. And he just can't see anything over there. It's just too dark. Some just kept going down and it went pitch black. So then everybody goes back to camp.

and settles in. We break out the thirms. We're therming everything, all the tree line, down by the creek, up and down the creek, just nothing, nothing on therm,

seeing mice, seeing bath, seeing, you know, the usual stuff, but nothing. And then this is the last thing that happened,

and it's pretty much the end of any activity, but it's about 11.30 at night. John and I were walking around with our thirms for about an hour, and sat down on this bench, that's over by his rig that looks over towards the bait

tent and then across the creek from that and there's like the creek splits into a wide down below the bait tent and it turns into two creeks that are side by side with a little bit of a bank in between them

but on the far side of that about I'd say 300 feet away from us up the embankment from the creek up in the real thick growth trees, we see an orange ball of light. Just a single light, not two, not three, just one. It's about the size of a basketball. And the strange thing about it is it was just kind of floating

through the trees in a straight line towards the creek. And it stayed about eight feet off the ground. and was just like a dull orange. But it didn't bob up and down, so it wasn't like a headlamp on somebody's head. It didn't shine back and forth like you'd be looking, you know, if you're walking, you'd want to look down at the trail

and look around, you know, see where you're going to step. There's, it's not real safe through there to walk at night. But it just floated and it floated towards us through the trees. It was sitting right next to me. I go I go look look at look at the bait town and then look ten feet to the right of it but pass it up into the trees across the little creek valley here and he goes I see it it goes the orange ball of light I go yeah and he goes it's coming towards the creek I said yep it is and you could see that there were some small trees between us and it because it would it would go you know just on the other side of them and it kept heading across the hillside but it didn't drop down and it didn't go up it just right at the same height started coming towards the creek so it comes out and it's like above on the edge of of of the embankment that goes down I mean

drops down in the creek and it's like just stayed there for like 60 seconds or so and it's pretty bright by then because now there's no trees no brush anything that can interfere with us seeing it like I said is about about the size of a basketball and then it just reversed course and went exactly back where it came from it didn't move side to side it didn't go up or down it just went in a straight line exactly the path that it came in on and I saw it go through the trees for about a hundred feet probably between between 75 and 100 feet before it completely disappeared

And it went back in where it popped out from. I've never seen anything like that. I heard people would see a ball of light around these things. I've never seen that. I've never seen one of these go invisible. I mean, there's a lot of things I've never seen. Well, now I've seen a ball of light. And it was orange.

And my friend was sitting right next to me. He saw it too. And we watched it. And it was just whispered quiet. The girls were behind us back. by the RV just laughing and having fun quietly laughing and having fun where we were at we were far enough away you could barely hear them but um and the whole time this thing was just dead silent all you could hear was the creek and it didn't like I said it couldn't have been a a helmet cam

because there's no way you could stay perfectly level across the terrain it was on and it was about eight to ten feet off the ground so um there you go if it just I can't explain it. I don't know what it was. Now, could have somebody held a flashlight perfectly level for 100 feet? Maybe. But not one that's 12 inches around. So anyway, it was just the weirdest thing. And that was kind of the last thing that happened.

The next day, I gathered my microphones and all the lights and everything. Oh, one thing I left out, that first night over at Rob's camp, Something took one of my lights. My light was missing. And so we were making jokes. Well, it's with, you know, it's up in that nest next to that Toyota part. You know, they have a light show now. But every night, you know, until that solar dies, they'll have a party every night up there.

So, so anyways, the next morning, Joe, everybody packs up. We have big breakfast. Everybody packs up. And we all head our different directions. And, you know, we look for tracks. never found any other than the trackway. I let Cliff Barryclan know I found a trackway you might want to look at. He came up and looked at, I think that trackway, because we found two of them. And he said it was a bear. And I told him, I don't know any bear that can take six foot strides,

but maybe it jumped off. He was jumping off this real steep show. And so it spread, it steps up because of that and did double steps where it did touch. down but the steps were six to seven feet apart wow and and then there was a second trackway further down that cliff didn't see that one of the teens picked up and I have photographs of that stuff too so okay but anyways so I have video I have audio and I have some photographs I am by far not the best investigator in the world I just kind of do it for fun but you know because it's interesting to me.

But any of that that I find that's valuable, the toad noises and stuff, I'll send to you. I would appreciate that. My goodness, Gary. I'm so happy that ever. I'm so happy that happened to your new group. You might find this interesting. The local I interviewed the other day says that the orb thing happens so much that they're actually called wisps by locals in the area. So they're seeing a lot.

The big foot for that area, the local way of referring to it is the man of the ridge. So that's interesting too, that they actually have like a local, local way of referring to it. It's such an incredible account. I'm glad that you were able to have, I mean, and new people in the group were able to have experiences like that. That's very special. That area is so, so incredibly active. I'm so glad we were able to have this conversation, Gary. I know it, we had to go back and forth a little bit just because of like cancer stuff.

Man, man, someday. Right now I'm doing 54-hour week. Yeah. That's why I don't have these videos up. And so I'm so tired at night, I can barely keep my eyes open. Oh, I do. You have 6,000 trees. We have a tree farm.

So I'm always doing irrigation, different things, too. But I'm glad we got together. This is great. You know, your show is by far my favorite, and I've listened to quite a few different podcasts. I'm actually on one or two. I just think it's real important to people like me. I want to hear a firsthand account, not a possible made-up story.

And I think that people can just be real, and you can tell, you know, that they've seen these things. They've been around these things. These things terrify me. They do. I get asked, well, why do you keep going up? Why do you even, well, I'm not going up there to shampoo one. I'm just going up to see one from 100 feet away.

If I can, I can get it on camera. You know, that's as close as I ever want to get. I don't want to pet one or have one pet me. So, yeah. Do you feel like you reached, because your goal was to get one on camera, yeah? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, now, now my friend wants to talk to one because he has before. And now I'm kind of thinking, I wonder what would it be like, you know? But I don't know. I don't know.

I think you're about to ask me, did I meet my goal? And am I done? Yeah, I mean, I remember you talking before that, like, that was the big goal, was to try to get one documented like that. Well, it has to be better than Patterson Gimlin's film. And anything I got good. So, you know, until I get that, I really can't say I've nailed it, you know. But you know, you got to remember, too, we're out racing horses every weekend.

I go all over Oregon and Washington. We're up by Fort Lewis a ton, up by Mount Adams a ton, Trout Creek. I mean, we race all over the coast range, and we practice on the weekends we're not racing. So we're exposed to these things everywhere. They're all up and down the coast range. I've had sightings in the coast range. I've had encountered. They're everywhere.

So if a person's afraid that they're going to encounter one of these things, you need to stay out of the woods. But I think that what happens with a lot of people is they'll see them like I did. And then at first you're kind of terrified. But after that, the curiosity stinks in, you know, what are they? Are they people like us? Are they monkeys? You know, what are they? And, you know, something that's been brought up is there's never been a large ape found in North America.

No bones, no chiefs, no nothing. And I don't think they're a monkey. But they have found giant bones. You know, Smithsonian keeps losing them. But, you know, they found giants all over the U.S. over a thousand sets of bones. And so I think that they're more like us than they're not. And I've heard them talk on multiple occasions.

They have a language. They, you know, they talk with each other. And I think they're more like us than they're not. I just think that they're a more primitive living version of us that survived all these years. And obviously it's doing well because you hear about more sightings than ever, you know. And they seem to live just outside of, for the most part, just outside of civilization. They're not far and come into civilization all the time, apparently. Absolutely, absolutely.

Yep, I've heard of Lolo Pass saying, They go through their garbage and stuff. Now, are they geniuses if they eat garbage? Could be, I don't know. Well, they're living in the forest, that's for sure. And they hunt more than we do. And a lot of people are military trained, and they hunt better than they do. So they're smart when it comes to some things, that's for sure.

Oh, no doubt about that. Gary, I'm always glad to talk to you and have you on the show. And thank you so much for coming on again. It sounds like you will continue to go up and try to have these experiences for as long as you can. I have some military. Some friends of mine have told me some stories that are in the military about Fort Lewis that you may want to hear about one of them. Pretty extreme, I'll just say. Yeah.

That might be actually a really great chat because those are hard to get documented. A lot of those individuals get a little freaked out, which is totally understandable. It's hard for them to come forward. So, yeah, we'll have to keep that in mind. Yeah, I know it's secondhand account, but it's so amazing what happened. and there were like six or eight policemen involved that ran off, got in their cars, drove off, and one military guy that takes his old RV up there that got just beat. And, you know, so that was one.

And then there's another one up by Detroit Lake that you're going to want to know about the bear that got torn to pieces. Yeah, I don't know you mentioned in that. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So there's some stuff that, you know, again, to be secondhand, it wouldn't be me. but I trust my source. Absolutely.

Well, we'll have to set something up for the future, but thank you so much for coming on. Gary, real quick, I want to make sure that people, that it's super clear to people that you've got a great channel. People can watch some awesome video on. Can you talk about that for a few minutes before we're done? Yeah, just real quick. In 2019, I really wanted to, I decided I would get evidence of these things and at least show evidence of the sighting that we had where my girlfriend saw five of them and I saw one. And so we retraced our steps with a GoPro and ever since then we've been taking the GoPro

up when we go to this spot and others. And I take video of it and I put it on YouTube and the channel is called Bigfoot research project. Basically, the channel has video from several years of us going up there. The most recent years, I keep threatening to put up, and I'm going to probably this winter, just hold on, I'll get it up there. The websites have somewhere between three quarters and a million views, but it's just trail cam, you know, it's just me going down the trail with the GoPro on behind the horse

or in front of the horse and pick it up all this. And some videos that aren't up yet are the last couple of years where I have one pushing a tree over. I have this year's the one with this back to us, the ones out in the field. A couple more last year I had two looking through some brush out in the field. So I haven't put those videos up yet, but I haven't been real driven to just because my day job is so rough. and business popping.

But anyways, but I am going to this winter, I'll, you know, by Christmas, I'll have all the new video up, a ton of audio, because I take audio as well,

and we'll build it up. Right now there's some pretty cool stuff. You can see rocks thrown by me and a couple sightings and stuff. So it's kind of fun as it is. But it's all just live footage. I'm, I don't make any plans. We just go out and I read,

with the horse and whatever comes on camera comes on camera but thank you for bringing it up it's the Bigfoot research project that that company name was an old name for one of the four horsemen had had the company here in Oregon where he'd go up around Mount Hood and and hunt them down and he had it on the side of his jeeps and everything's actually a very famous name I bought the the company's name and so now I can use it but I just really like the name the the Bigfoot research project and just just know you know we did it for fun and because we're really interested in and we just come across these things on

horseback all the time so we just decided well hey let's do something about it it'd be fun to get some recordings and different things so so we do it and I don't believe in lying or making something up to say sensationalize it and I don't make a dime off of this so I have no interest in But I am interested in the truth in uncovering what these things are and showing what I know. And someday when they scientifically get proven, people look at my footage to go, oh, yeah, that's just part of a file of stuff that people have seen them, you know. Not a big deal. Not a big deal.

This guy, he's just another farmer, you know, another tree farmer out there. Just these stuff on horseback. I love it. I love it. Always fun to talk to you, Gary.
