It didn't listen to me.
It walked out of thicket.
It turned around and looked at me.
And jumped down out of the tree.
It started running away.

And now on with the show.
I wanted to do a review episode.
This week I'm going to be talking about the Bigfoot Influencers by Tim Halloran.
I'm sure most of you have been able to get this book.
We just read it for the Bigfoot Society Patreon Book Club.
But if you haven't yet, you really need to get a copy of it.
And I'm going to go over that.
But first, we just talk for a few minutes.
I was able to meet Tim at CryptidCon down in Lexington, Kentucky this year.
It was an awesome time.
Really nice guy, super charismatic.
The cool thing is that Tim is not originally into Bigfoot, his wife is.
And, you know, through her enthusiasm, he was able to, of course, get into it.
And then they got this idea to pretty much interview all these different influencers that are alive currently and make a fantastic book.
I mean, I've talked to a lot of people over the last, you know, since early 2019.
And there were people in this book that I haven't even that hadn't heard of yet or I hadn't been able to talk to yet.
it's very, very cool.
The thing I love about the Hanger 1 publishing,
which is, you know, of course,
the publishing arm through Doug Hitchek
from Monster Quest,
but his books,
it's really cool what they do,
and especially this one here.
At the, you know,
throughout the book,
you're going to have these QR codes.
And so, you know,
it works good for our culture
because, you know,
we're going to have our phone next to us.
and I'm a type of person where, you know, I like to be not just reading, but, you know, got to have the pictures.
And this is kind of like the modern equivalent of that.
So, you know, let me see if I get an example here.
So in the PNW Bigfoot Maps section, you can scan and see color images from PNW maps.
Oh, one of the examples, and I won't give away the whole book, of course, but you know, you scan a barcode and maybe it's someone like Survivor Man doing an introduction.
Maybe it's another, you know, person that's interviewed doing an introduction as well.
It's very cool.
You know, also it's not just about Bigfoot.
He is asking questions, stuff I like, you know, that makes you.
feel like you're really getting to know the person like a question that's asked a few times is
you know what's what music do you like to listen to what's your favorite musician that kind of thing
and i i appreciate that as an interviewer that kind of stuff is very cool um bigfoot influencers
book definitely needs to have a uh a second one come out i hope that's in the works we'll see
fingers crossed uh the other cool thing is they you know big foot influencers they
do a
podcast on
YouTube.
They also do
live shows.
And those are
very interesting.
They've got
some great connections.
They have some
great guests on.
So definitely if you're
listening to this,
go over to
just look up
big influencers on
YouTube and
you can start
checking that
out weekly as they
come out with
content.
The other cool
thing is that
there are some
really fun
encounter.
stories in here as well. I'm thinking specifically about the Ron Moorhead chapter. There's an
encounter story that he shared. And I mean, I never heard it before. And it was intense. It's very
cool. So if anything, you got to get the book so you can read that encounter story. It's a very,
very cool thing. The other cool thing I want to point out, or the important thing I want to point out,
is that Tim genuinely cares about this subject.
I have type 2 diabetes, but I manage it well.
It's a little bill with the big story to tell.
I take one's daily Jardians at each day start.
And for adults with type 2 diabetes and known heart disease,
Jardians can lower the risk of cardiovascular death too.
Prescription Jardians, Empiglphosen, 10 or 25 milligram tablets,
are used to lower blood sugar along with diet and exercise and adults with type 2 diabetes.
Jardians is not for use to lower blood sugar in people with type 1 diabetes and not for people
with type 2 diabetes who have severe kidney disease.
Serious side effects include increased ketones in blood or urine and infection between
and around the anus and genitals. Both may be fatal.
Severe allergic reactions, dehydration, urinary tract or genital yeast infections in men and women
and low blood sugar.
Stop taking and tell your doctor right away if you have nausea, vomiting, stomach pain,
tiredness, rash, swelling, trouble breathing or swallowing.
Tell your doctor about light,
fitness,
fever, pain, tenderness,
redness, or swelling between the anus and genitals.
You may have increased risk for lower limb loss.
Call your doctor right away if you have new pain or tenderness,
sores, ulcers, or infection in your legs or feet.
To learn more about Jardians 10 or 25 milligram tablets,
ask your doctor, visit Jardians.com or call 1-88-968-6648.

And I can say that because at the end of CryptoCon,
a group of us were able to hang out down in the bar at the hotel for about,
ended up being, I mean, I was there for about four hours.
And there was a group of us talking.
Tim was there.
Mark, Alex and Eli, Mark Mercell, sorry, Alex Petacoff, Eli Watson.
Scott was there.
I'm going to miss names.
Jeff from Strange.
Allie G. was there.
Steve Barcello, I believe, was there.
Just a lot of cool guys.
Jonathan Dodd.
If I forgot your name, I apologize.
I know I'm forgetting someone.
But it was a cool time just hanging out.
Seth Breelove was there for a bit.
And, you know, we were just talking shop about.
bigfoot stuff and it was just it was cool to listen to Tim talk to to other people and to realize
that yes he absolutely does care about this subject this is not just a guy who is writing a book
where you know he's trying to to cash in and cash out you know this is a guy who genuinely
loves the subject and is making a resource that if you care about bigfoot at all you need to have this on your
shelves. It is no questions asked, absolute must buy. So I'm going to have the link to this
in the show notes. If you haven't gotten a copy of the big foot influencers, you need to get it.
He asks some tough questions in there. He gets some great answers. He's got interviews in there
with like people from David Ellis, Dr. Meldrum, all over the place.
Kathy Strain, Bob Strain, Todd, Nice.
A lot of really, really good interviews that if you're listening to this,
you will enjoy reading and consuming this book in other ways through your phone.
Photos, videos, good stuff.
So you definitely, definitely need to check this one out.
I will say the most important thing I got from the book was being introduced to people
that I didn't that wasn't really aware of and apologies if you're the person whose name about to say
and you're listening to this I appreciate you listening to it but uh I'm still learning so I wasn't
involved I wasn't aware really of people like Mark DeWorth or Carlos Jimenez or Richard Noll and
hey, that's just because I'm learning.
And if you're listening to this and you'll be like,
oh, Jeremiah, what are you doing?
Hey, easy, easy friend.
We're not all amazing Bigfoot encyclopedias like Daniel Perez and Todd Prescott.
I appreciate you guys.
Thank you for listening.

And, Tim, hopefully you come out with a part two.
I'm fingers crossed that you do.
And I appreciate being on the list of podcasts that you shouted out in the back of the book.
That was a really nice gesture.
Thank you.
I hope to see you at conferences in the future.
