Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Bigfoot Society and I'm Jeremiah Byron. In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring you first-hand encounters from people who say they've seen something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to quiet farms and crowded highways, the stories come from everywhere, and each one leaves us with more questions than answers. These are the voices of the people who've lived it. So settle in because today you'll hear another account that just might change the way you see the woods forever. So stay with us. Please keep Jeremiah in your prayers as he continues his fight against cancer. For more updates about his medical journey, please go to the Caring Bridge link in the show notes.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Thank you. All right, Bigfoot Society. You've got the privilege of talking to Jeremy today. Jeremy's individual with an interesting thing that happened to him down in Tennessee. A few things about Jeremy's Christian music educator outdoorsman and a member of the Army National Guard. so thank you for your service sir and thank you for coming on to the show germany and i also know that you uh i think you got introduced to the show uh you heard me over on uh blurry creatures which is a great podcast right yeah i heard you talking about the ohio flap on the on blurry creatures and i was like
Starting point is 00:01:20 i need to listen to this guy so i can hear you know more straightforward big big foot stories so Absolutely. I'm glad you were able to come and check that out. We had actually a few people come over from that. I mean, those guys, Nate and Luke are great guys. If you're listening to this and you want to have, and how would you, I would say, if you want to know about the weirdness of the world from a biblical perspective, that's pretty amazing. Check out that podcast if you're not already. Most of my listeners are probably listening, though. Yeah, they're great. They're great, guys. They are great. Jeremy, is there anything else that you would want the listeners to know about you before we get started? No, just that, you know, covered it in bio. And then I have just a quick, you know, I have a seven-year-old daughter that, you know, she wants to, she wants to tell Bigfoot about Jesus. So we're having those conversations all the time. So when I get presents for Father's Day and everything, it's usually Bigfoot things and she has lots of questions so this will be fun for her to listen to as well. Hey, that's amazing.
Starting point is 00:02:32 I mean, why not really? It reminds me of there's a series of interviews on, I think it's Bigfoot World Radio with Duke on YouTube. Okay. And it's this story, it's this interview back and forth of the guy who have these interactions with a Bigfoot named Gleck. And from what I remember, it's been a while since I've heard it, but there was, there's a whole section of it where he is actually, like, reading the Bible to glide. And there's a lot of like really interesting things going on there. So I can't remember if it's appropriate for little kids. So check it out first to yourself, right?
Starting point is 00:03:15 But there might be something actually already out there where, you know, that's the whole thing. It's like, what's Bigfoot? Can Bigfoot get saved? Right. is if it's just an animal, you know, or or if it's like, it's part human. I mean, that's, that's a whole wild conversation. And I could see that. I'm sure that conversation has been brought up on blurry creatures.
Starting point is 00:03:39 I haven't listened to every episode. I'm sure they've broached that subject. But so, so Jeremy, you are down there in the great state of Tennessee, correct? That's right. Oh, my goodness. I will tell you what. That state is weird. I'll get out. I was down there in April. I had some weird stuff happened, dude. I was like,
Starting point is 00:03:59 I was in this one state park. We were surrounded by orbs. The orbs were coming towards us. I was like, those have got to be fireflies. No fireflies. They were orbs. That was my first time. And then the whole like hearing voices at another state park we were hanging out and around. That was, I've never, that was weird as I'll get out. Yeah, I don't know if I'd have been able to hang around. I remember you talking about in one of the shows hearing. Somebody say come here. Yeah, it was out in the woods. I was out in the woods during expedition. I was by myself and I heard someone, something, someone say come here from around the corner. And then in my cabin, when I was almost asleep, someone or something say, gotcha. And I was like, oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Yeah, I'm not, I'm not playing. No. No, absolutely not. It's a really active area. But, but Jeremy, you know we're saying you're from Tennessee and so that's the groundwork that yeah if you don't know Tennessee is weird it's not the Pacific Northwest but it is full of weirdness that happens there so so are you an individual Jeremy where you Bigfoot's been a part of your entire life or did this thing we're about to launch into get you involved with the Bigfoot topic so I've always been interested in, you know, all things paranormal. I think in college was when the show Ghost Hunters came out. So I was a big watcher of Ghost Hunters, and I liked their, we'll say, scientific approach,
Starting point is 00:05:34 like whether that was for TV or not, you know, and I remember in elementary school picking up any books I could on the mysterious UFOs, Bigfoot, Ghost and things like that. So it's always been an interest. but always just kind of watch the TV shows, hear the stories, be entertained, be open-minded and think, oh, is this something that could be out there? It's like I can't definitively say yes or no, but, you know, always open to the possibility. You know, but in taking the media around Bigfoot and things like that, when I had this experience, I was that kind of was a, oh, and you talk about Tennessee being a weird state,
Starting point is 00:06:17 I didn't really realize it until kind of this happened. I kind of was deep diving into things and going, oh, Tennessee is weird between the Smoky Mountains, Cumberland Plateau, all the caves, land between the lakes. I don't know, Tony Merkel over at the confessions. He's done a lot of stuff about LBL. And I used to, I remember, because I'm a hunter,
Starting point is 00:06:44 I remember the potential when I was young, of going and doing a draw hunt, a hunt and land between the lakes. And I listen to some of that stuff and I go, man, I'm kind of glad I didn't, you know, take up those opportunities to go hunting LBL because there's some stuff going on up there. So all that to say, it's been present, but it's not something I've just always been like, oh, got to get more Bigfoot. It's just been, it's almost been more of an entertainment. It's been like, you know, finding Bigfoot.
Starting point is 00:07:16 I actually really like to show Expedition Bigfoot, both for entertainment value and for the stuff they catch. So, yeah, it's been present, but until this actual experience made me start thinking about things earlier in life that happened and say, oh, I think I have a different perspective on those now. Very interesting. Ghost hunters, that's not the Zach Baggins one, right? I'm not super ghosty, so. So there was, I think there was ghost adventures. That's right. Which, that one, that one I didn't like as much.
Starting point is 00:07:53 And, you know, I watched it. Being a Christian, ghost hunters was just more of an empirical, we're looking for evidence things. Right. I think Zach is ghost adventures. They're more calling out entities and saying things. And I didn't like that being audible in my house. Yeah, yeah. So I tried that a little bit.
Starting point is 00:08:17 Like when my wife and I, before we had our daughter, I got back into ghost adventures. And I was like, maybe a week or two of watching that. And I was like, I'm not feeling right about having an audible voice calling out entities inside my home. And my wife wasn't big on that either. So it was like, I'm going to turn that one off. And I really don't watch. We really don't watch any like ghost stuff. anymore. I'm more sticking to cryptids, you know, as far as what I'm watching, a Skinwalker
Starting point is 00:08:48 Ranch, that's, that's pretty intriguing. Yeah. And so those kind of more like looking for evidence rather than seeking to call out a spiritual action, even if it is, you know, even if there is some TV magic in there, you know, there's a real, there is a real spiritual realm, right? And, Oh, yeah. With the things you call out, they do have effects, even if someone might be doing it. Not necessarily believing something's going to happen for entertainment value. Those words have meaning. And yeah, so I try to stay away from those kind of things.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Yeah, I think that's smart. So as a Christian in Tennessee, then there's some actual areas that are really charged up and known for weird paranormal things. Do you actually, man, I'm thinking of one in particular, like the Bell Witch Cave. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:49 What, is that something where you're like, maybe I'll check that out? Or is it something where like, I don't think I'll actually check that out? So, you know, this is, you know, it's kind of getting, getting in the weeds about, you know, a little other stuff, but this is interesting.
Starting point is 00:10:02 So my grandmother, she got super obsessed. Wow. With the Bell Witch. Okay. And did a lot of research on that. And I would say in my family, there's been, you know, being a Christian, but then the spiritual side of things, there's been some interesting, like, almost like psychic nature of stuff where, you know, I'll have family members that will say, well, a former relative came to me in a dream and told me this thing that came true. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:10:40 And originally I was just like, okay, cool, that's kind of wild. And then now as I've grown in my Christian walking and study and studying the spiritual nature of things as well, I'm like, oh, when we look at, you know, in the Bible when Saul called me, gets the witch of Indoor to call up. Right. I'm like, oh, this is something we shouldn't do. So I tell the family member, hey, you know, you see your great grandmother, but I don't think that's your great-grandmother. mother and just because they're telling you things that are true does not validate that that's who you think it is. So I think we need to like hold up. So going back to the bell witch, I think a lot of that obsession with the occult in my grandmother kind of had some, you know, negative, maybe negative spiritual effects, uh, regarding that.
Starting point is 00:11:30 And then I had, you know, other family, I have one family member that would say she is haunted because doesn't matter where she moves. There's something there. So, you know, that, so for me, for Bellwitch and stuff like that, I'm like, I, I'm interested to learn about it if someone's studying that thing, but I, I'm not going to go there. Because, again, the spiritual stuff is real. and I don't want to go there and just be attached to something that you know. Right. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:12:07 It was, man, when I was down in Tennessee, I think, yeah, I realized that I was actually not that far away from it. And I had to have a little, I had to think it through. I was like, I don't think I want to. Even the stuff I've seen in like Small Town Monsters documentary, I'm like, I don't want to play those games. like, you know, and they're not games, right? So if you do decide to go there, that's on you and that's cool. But, yeah, not going to do that. So, you know, that was a bit of a rabbit trail.
Starting point is 00:12:40 I think it's an important conversation. But so I'm interested to hear then, you know, what your experience was that you had in Tennessee and how that played out. Okay, cool. Yeah. And it's interesting because, you know, when I originally thought about this and I've been listening to I'm a music teacher, so my car time is podcast. It's not music because sometimes you've got to step away from music when it's your life. So, you know, I was like, this is not that big of a deal.
Starting point is 00:13:12 And I don't, you know, I tell people and, you know, people roll their eyes and stuff. It's not like I feel persecuted or anything. It's just that it's originally to me it was a small instance. But then when I kind of put everything together, it's like, well, I'll just email Jeremiah and let him decide if it's kind of worth telling. So I'm glad to be here. So we'll start back in 2017, I had a brother-in-law, you know, purchase a farm. And we'll just, to not give specifics, we'll just say it is around the Tennessee section of the Natchez Trace Parkway. So Natchez Trace Parkway is like a scenic roadway that goes from.
Starting point is 00:13:55 from Nashville all the way to Natchez, Mississippi. So it's one of those two laying, you know, almost, I believe the land immediately surrounding the parkway is federal land. So, you know, it's through a large part of Tennessee. We'll say, you know, so I'm in Middle Tennessee around the Natchez Trace Parkway. So we would go up there and just hang out, you know, we bought it for hunting. So in the summertime, we just go have a campfire, hang out. ride ATVs, you know, prepare for the hunting season.
Starting point is 00:14:30 You know, now the farm is a lot of food plots, a lot of land management to support a deer herd. But that's what we would do. So this was a summer probably actually, you know, we bought the former 2017. So this is summer of 2018, probably. Me and my younger brother-in-law were just up there hanging out for the weekend. had a campfire outside the cabin or the cabin just to describe it's by no means luxury
Starting point is 00:14:58 but it's not a hostile on the Appalachian Trail. Like it's, you know, we've got power, we can cook with this next fireplace. You know, it's comfortable. But we are out there. They had to give perspective, they eventually had to run power up to the farm because it was run on a generator.
Starting point is 00:15:19 So that's kind of how far out there we were while setting outside, you could hear the little bit of traffic that's on the Natchez Trace's. So people, you know, driving scenically. So we're hanging out late into the night around the campfire, just smoking a cigar, enjoying a little bourbon, like not, you know, not partying, but just enjoying nature. So me and my younger brother-in-law sit out there talking and the coyotes just start ripping and wailing. and it's just you could tell it's a big pack they were pretty close i would say less than a mile and i mean just yippin howling everything that coyotes do this pack was doing it so if i'm sitting
Starting point is 00:16:05 i guess facing east and they're kind of you know i guess to the they're to the southeast of us and we can see them we can kind of tell that they're moving around um and this lasts a long time so it's a good few minutes of coyotes just go crazy and we're like yeah this is cool And my brother-in-law not being, you know, out in the wild and hunting and stuff all his life, you know, he's just kind of looks to me for that experience and to, you know, hear things, verify things that we're hearing. So we're listening to coyotes. We're like, that's cool. And, you know, they're coyotes. For me, that's like nothing to be worried about.
Starting point is 00:16:41 They make a lot of noise. They move through. If they see you, probably they're going the other direction. You know, they're not interested in messing with humans. other than, you know, to eat food they leave behind and things like that. So not something we were worried about. Still just sitting around the campfire and join. So the coyotes finally stopped and we get a break of about 30 seconds of, you know, natural quietness that would occur in nature, right?
Starting point is 00:17:11 It's just quiet. Not, I wouldn't say like deadly silent, like all sound dropped out, the environment changed. It was just coyotes stopped. That was all it was. And so we have a 30 second breaker show in there. And then there's another sound that starts. And we're just kind of sitting talking. So it kind of ramps up.
Starting point is 00:17:30 And we're in our minds, we still have coyotes. And then the sound ramps up even more. And it's kind of, it's more of a roar, or I describe it as a bella. Like it's just kind of, and it just really ramps up. And my brother-in-law kind of looks at me and he goes, coyotes and I was like oh yeah and then the sound continues and it ramps up into what I describe as a mix between somebody throwing up and just a man screaming bloody murder but like in chest voice like you know but it lasted for 10 to 15 seconds just this ramped up just
Starting point is 00:18:19 crazy roar and it was farther than the coyotes. You could tell that this thing had to be so loud because perspective, it seemed like it was beyond the Natchez Trace Parkway. It seemed like it was farther. Now, and the fact that it lasted so long, it just ramped up and became this yell, but it was just, you could tell it was so far away and it had to have been so loud. And then it stops and then everything is quiet.
Starting point is 00:18:52 My brother-in-law look at each other and he goes, let's go inside. And I said, good idea. And then that was that. And just think about it, I went on the internet search and I was like, I, you know, I've been in the woods all my life, heard wildcats, turkeys, you're making funny noises, you know, different, different birds doing different things. And I'm just on a quest to find something that could have made this sound naturally. I know there's a dirt track around the area we were, like a racing track. And I've heard that on a Saturday night.
Starting point is 00:19:24 And this was in the wrong direction and nothing like the dirt track. And yeah, so I went on this crazy search to find something that sounded like it. The closest I could find, like I was trying to find all variations of a Bobcat call. Because I know we've seen Bobcat. So I was looking at all variations of Bobcat screams. I couldn't find anything like that. The only thing that could pop, like, that came close but still wasn't it, was I looked at feral hogs.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Like, but the area is not known for having them. And, like, while they can make a sound for a second, that kind of sounds like that, found no examples of a long bellow like that. That could be so loud and for so long, and be heard from so far away. So yeah, not finding anything. And then later in all just kind of internet searches,
Starting point is 00:20:25 you know, you get the algorithm going for what you're searching for, come across people that are doing Bigfoot expeditions in the area. And I'm like, okay, this is not just me saying, oh, that could have been a Bigfoot. It's like, oh, people are saying that their experiences in the area. And that kind of validated the thought for me that's like, I, I'm running out of natural explanations for what the sound could be. My younger brother-in-law, he's kind of, you know, at first he was like, I don't know what we heard. And then I think now he's kind of moved into a place of, oh, it wasn't a big foot.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Like, you know, he's just, you can't say what it was, but he's just like, that's not what it was. No, I still, you know, it's 2018. I go hunt out there almost every year. I'm not afraid to go out in the woods. And I've never seen anything weird, heard anything weird since. But we want to talk about this experience a little bit before I go into kind of how that's affected everything else. Like if you had any questions. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:21:25 That's kind of that experience. That's wild. So what you heard, did it, I'm sure you've thought of this too. Could it have been made by a human at all, or it was just way, way past that? The sound, like I said, sounded like a man screaming. Like if there was a dude standing next to me and he was like enraged and just bearing down for a bit, yes, that part sounded human. But the duration and the volume for the distance, there's no way. Yeah, there's no way that could have been a person.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Yeah, that makes sense. So were you finding like reports on BFRO or your, I don't know. I'm curious what kind of, I guess, where you were finding things on the internet. Yeah, I had just YouTube. I haven't gone and looked at, you know, in preparing, like, thinking about coming on here, I'm like, man, I've never really gone on a BFRO. I've not yet looked at your maps. Like, I've been on the website, but I've not just had the time to look at the match yet. But I've like, I need to go do that and see alone the Natchez Trace Parkway, like, what's there?
Starting point is 00:22:39 because it's validating to be like, oh, I'm not just a random person that people are like, oh, Bigfoot's in the Pacific Northwest. And I'm saying I heard one in Tennessee. It's like the more people start thinking are now open to the idea of Bigfoot or Bigfoot-like creatures existing, the more people are seeing them everywhere. And just to talk about what Jeremy is referring to,
Starting point is 00:23:06 because I don't think I talk about it enough on the show. If you go to the website for the podcast, it's bigfoot society podcast.com, and then you click on siting map. I have put a lot of, I'm still working on it, but there's a lot of, it's probably over a thousand pens.
Starting point is 00:23:30 And these are just people that I've talked to for the show, so you can go to this map. And it's just a Google map that I, I fill in as I'm editing episodes, and you can look for your area or any area, and I've got, you know, a ton in the U.S., but really, I think every country or every continent. I don't think Greenland counts. It's not a continent, you know. But yeah, it's all over the world. So check that out if you haven't.
Starting point is 00:24:05 But wild, wild stuff. Has anyone else had anything weird happen on that property besides what you and your brother-law experienced that day? Nobody's told me anything. So, yeah, I've not heard anything. I usually ask, you know, the owner, we've been writing together. I said, hey, like, have you seen anything weird? He's like, it's weird, man, because we've got all these cameras out there, and we've never caught anything on gang cameras or anything, which,
Starting point is 00:24:37 with watching all the shows and listening all the podcasts and things like that, I'm thinking, well, actually, you're probably not going to catch them on those. Yeah, exactly. The more you put cameras up, it seems like the further away they go. Yeah, 100%. Have you, did you talk to the owner about, like, hey, have you heard anything like this sound that we heard or anything like that? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:02 And there's nothing. It was just me and my younger brother-in-law that out there. Just experience that. We tell the story and he's, you know, he's, I don't, it was something else. And I'm like, dude, that was a big foot. Absolutely. So, so how, yeah, I'm definitely curious. How did this affect everything else after you have?
Starting point is 00:25:24 Okay. So, yeah, we kind of have to go back in time because this kind of research a few things. And the reason it made me go even further back is because of this next instance. So, you know, it's a quick story. of back in 2012, I was hunting in a different area. Still Middle Tennessee. This is almost, we'll say Tennessee bordering Alabama, like very southern middle Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:25:49 In hunting land that my stepdad has hunted on since the 70s. Like it's old woods. It's tough land like rocky. Now this place, you've got to take a four-wheeledry. You've got to take an ATV to get to. we have we haul we have a generator it is it is a legit it's a hunting cabin
Starting point is 00:26:11 we are we are away from everything you can't hear a car sometimes you hear our 18 wheeler do the Jake break do an engine break like maybe you'll hear that echo through the mountains another interesting thing about this there a lot of deep
Starting point is 00:26:27 we call them sinkholes but really they're caves right there's a lot to just cave entrances going straight down if you drop a rock at them. You, it takes a minute for the rock to hit the bottom and you hear a nice, as you hear the rock hitting the air going down and echoing through the cave area. So lots of deep caves in this area. So, you know, we only go, like we're walking in the woods at, you know, the wee hours of the morning before it's daylight, definitely walking the known trails because if you're just
Starting point is 00:26:58 walking through the woods unknowingly, you legit could just walk into a hole. There's multiple, multiple of those that we know of in the area. So hunting season, I remember we had a white Christmas. It snowed that Christmas, so this would have been after Christmas leading into January, still snow on the ground. Evening hunt, I hunt this bluff line, and I had taken a shot at an eight-point buck, and it had been a horrible hunting year for me. I had rifle issues and was using different rifles, and I had wounded deer that year. I feel terrible about it because we always want to make a humane. When we harvest a deer, we wouldn't have it be as humane as possible
Starting point is 00:27:40 and not have anything running around wounded. But I had wounded a few that year, so it was just a frustrating year. But I had finally got the rifle squared away and took a shot and hit a deer, this eight-point buck. And, I mean, it hit the ground. I was like, yes, finally, we've got the monkey off my back, so to speak. and we're good to go. So I give it a few moments to just make sure, because if you go and try to start tracking one early,
Starting point is 00:28:09 you can actually give it the adrenaline, and it needs to push and run. So because it was so cold, went back to the cabin, we talked about it. It's like, hey, let's not track him at night. Let's wait until the morning. We'll get the whole crew out there
Starting point is 00:28:24 and we'll look at it in the daylight. It'll keep in the area it was. We weren't worried about it, coyotes or anything like that at that time. So next morning, we go and we start searching. And we can see where it hit the ground and then read a lot and should have died there. But then we started tracking it where it apparently got up and started moving. So it was a good track.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Easy tracking, snow. We got to this one hollow full of briars and things. And suddenly all deer tracks, blood, everything. Just stopped. Just stopped. Couldn't find the deer. We did a big circle looking through the briars and maybe he's laid down in one of these tree tops that was cut down or maybe in this briar patch. But just all evidence of the deer ceased.
Starting point is 00:29:18 And so we had handed that morning prior to that, I should say this. So we had hunted a short time prior to that. We had decided we're going to stop hunting early to go track this deer. My stepdad told me he's like, oh yeah, we're going to find that deer. I heard it kind of just moving around down in the bottom of the hollow. And so we're like, okay, cool, that's pretty confident. So when we got down there and it just ended and there was no evidence of it thrashing or anything like that, it was just odd. And it was another bummer.
Starting point is 00:29:49 And, you know, we left it B. and my stepdad's like, man, I thought I heard something down there. So later, after I had the experience around the natural strait sparkway with the howl, bellow what we want to call it. Tell my stepdad about that. He goes, so you remember when you shot that deer and I told you I heard something in the hollow that morning and that we were probably going to find it?
Starting point is 00:30:15 I said, yeah, he goes, well, it kind of scared me and I didn't want to say too much, but what I heard was something thrashing around and it sounded like a man down there yelling and throw it up. And I was like, are you kidding me? He was like, yeah. He said, I know, and he still says it. He said, I know there are bigfoots in our hunting mountain. He said, but they and I have an agreement, and I leave them alone, and they leave me alone.
Starting point is 00:30:48 And so I still haven't, like, drawn him out too much about what does that mean? Are you just, like, are you just spouting off things? I do, I do without a doubt, think that that's because he was, when he said he heard something down there, he was not really coming forth with a lot of stuff. But then when he starts explaining, he was like, yeah, he said, I wanted to go, I wanted to go home when he heard that that morning. And he kind of logiced it that it was that deer dying. And I kind of pictured like, you know, deer when they, you know, a buck, grunt can sound different or a dose, you know, bleat, whatever, can sound different if they're under distress and they make different sounds. So I haven't gone and like, you know, tried to see
Starting point is 00:31:37 what a deer sounds like when it's in the death. But now my stepdad would say, hey, I think Bigfoot took your deer. But when we were down there looking at that time, you know, snow, we were looking for blood in the white snow. We weren't looking for any other tracks. There were thick briars that we couldn't even like get on our hands and knees and crawl through. But, you know, around that, as much as we put things down and the thing, like we, the blood just stopped and it should have been enough for the deer to pass away. And we have no deer. We have my stepdad hearing the sounds that he described as a man, a man down in the hollow,
Starting point is 00:32:20 yelling and throwing up. And, you know, when I hear, like, some of the Sierra sounds and things like that, like it's, there's, there's just a guttural, you know, from the diaphragm, kind of a sound and yell there. So that's, it's interesting to try to go back to that experience
Starting point is 00:32:41 and say, was there anything else around that besides now my stepdad telling me after 2018, saying, hey, back in 2012. Remember when this happened, I heard a sound that you're described. This would be probably an hour, two hours away from the Naches Trey spot. Okay. Wow. Dude, that's what you got to have that conversation with him about what is your understanding between you and, like, what happened to make that understanding between you and Bigfoot? But like that sounds very interesting.
Starting point is 00:33:20 Also, and I'm sure when I hear stuff like the deer disappearing, the tracks disappearing, man, I start thinking of like missing. Have you watched the missing 4-1-1? Yeah, I have not gotten into that yet. I've listened to a few interviews with Politis, but I have not gotten into that. Also, it's a little bit like, how much truth do you want to hear a little bit because, like, I have, you know, I have a seven-year-old daughter. I've got another daughter on the way. And it's, you know, it's kind of that balance.
Starting point is 00:34:07 And sometimes I overthink things a lot. So I'm like, do I want to? you know, there's the, okay, we need to know the truth. But there's also like, do I want to give that spark that might make me, you know, fearful? Or do I just want to kind of keep living my life, trusting in God, you know, trusting in Christ and really resting in that? Or give myself something else to be worried about in raising a child in this world? So that's a different topic. No, I totally get it.
Starting point is 00:34:43 It is interesting documentary series. And specifically, I mean, I will. So in one of them, it's called out, and this is also called out in another interview. I had a gentleman who had talked to a Mufon investigator. Both sources were talking about how hunters had seen elk carried off by floating rods. which I mean that's not Bigfoot but yeah I can be connected right it's weird right yeah and then I mean I've had I would I could say three to four people where I just talked to actually a lady yesterday where she was on top of a mountain and then looked over the mountain and saw a big foot
Starting point is 00:35:35 pretty much running down the mountain in front of her and her dogs with a a full-sized deer over its shoulder and it had like eight points on it and it just you hear that I've heard that multiple times you hear that sort of things you're like you know these things has so much power so they can easily just be like bam put it over the back it doesn't really explain the lack of blood though you'd think there'd still be blood but that can be something else. I don't know. That's where I entertain because I'm open-minded to what I guess the BFRO people call the Woo.
Starting point is 00:36:14 I'm open to it just because I'm not, you know, I'm not fully vested in it's a creature or it's spiritual. Like everything's spiritual. Totally. I'm, you know, almost on Timothy Albarino's train of like, we don't have a separation of what's spiritual and what's physical. Like we're all part of the same existence. So sometimes spiritual can be excused to say something's not real, right? But that's where I entertain like, okay, the homeboy step through a portal and, you know, go somewhere else. Like the biggest thing I always come up with is, you know, the Native American legends that say, you know,
Starting point is 00:36:54 Sasquatch has a foot in the spirit world and a foot in the physical world. You know, if there are texts that old basically, the same thing people are observing now. Like, I know correlation does an equal causation and all that good stuff, but, you know, it's, if multiple, multiple things across centuries are saying the same thing, maybe we should give some credence to what people are saying. So that's like, so that's why I'm like, you know, maybe, okay, maybe there is a cave entrance there and you just pop down in there.
Starting point is 00:37:31 maybe there's all sorts of explanation but yeah just the all like all of sudden all evidence a wounded deer gone that's a strange part yeah it's it's that kind of thing that really makes you think and the longer
Starting point is 00:37:48 I do this show you know you hear I've talked to multiple people that have seen Bigfoot turn into a kind of black wispy cloud kind of like the smoke monster from Lost back in the day. I've had that report from Mount Hood and West Virginia.
Starting point is 00:38:11 And then multiple multiple ones where, and this is told me by Henry Franzoni, who's not with us anymore. But I mean, Native Americans would say it can affect the way that you walk and you move. And if it wanted to, it can make you walk off a cliff. And then I have another gentleman from West Virginia that was like, yeah, saw one laying down. And then I just wasn't controlling what I was doing. And I started walking away.
Starting point is 00:38:46 It just my legs started walking by themselves. Really, really weird stuff, man. But I think at the end of the day, you know, it is, it is a very interesting thing. because as you know you don't want to open yourself up to everything you have to be aware what you bring into your your house could be literally um yeah it's it's a very interesting thing being in involved in this topic uh so did that was that the main thing that that that that affected having the natches trace um yeah so there was that and then going back to that hunting experience with my stepdad and my stepdad like, you know, with his agreement, I will ask him about that and I might email you and see what that conversation entails. You know, it's interesting. Yeah. So thinking about, you know, a lot of times maybe the agreement he has is somehow he's like, hey, I'm not going to say anything really about any of this. And that's what he's going to hold to. But
Starting point is 00:39:57 I'll ask him. So then in that, so where that this hunting trip took place, when I was young, my grandfather and my uncle and I were part of a hunting club in the same mountain chain, probably like five miles down the mountain area in another area. And this is what, this is where the part that made me rethink my, some experiences in my youth. And these are brief, but they're similar. I always remember in talking about the old hunting land with my uncle, like he would tell stories and we're just sitting around telling the stories.
Starting point is 00:40:33 He would just say, you'll hear sounds in that mountain that you can't explain. There's no explanation for. And everything in the woods will just shut up. He said that. He said, you know, and my uncle's a very, he's a workout. He's a gym kind of guy. and he's always just been absolutely jacked and, you know, obviously holding high-powered rifles. And he said, I've heard stuff in the mountains that have made me want to go back to the cabin.
Starting point is 00:41:04 He said, but just sounds that you'll hear and the whole woods are just silent. It's just like we can't explain them. Now, I haven't heard, didn't hear one of those when I was young. But I do specifically remember going through the woods and walking out, had a little, I was probably seventh or eighth grade when I was, you know, old enough to be in the woods on my own, you know, started hunting like in the fifth grade when I got my hunter safety course taken. And, you know, someone would always sit with me. But then seventh and eighth grade, I was starting to venture out on my own, walking the woods on my own. And I remember, I mean, the first time this happened, and then it's happened multiple times after, I think even into adulthood that I can remember.
Starting point is 00:41:48 be walking through the mountain on the four-wheeler trail. There's one instance when it first happened. And I hear some. Great. Sounds like people talking. It sounds like kids talking. And I'm like, oh, cool. My cousin, you know, I'm encountering them.
Starting point is 00:42:07 They're walking and hunting to and they're talking. So I'm like, so then the more like I kind of start going towards the sound and listening, I begin to notice it's not words, right? So I stop. I stand still and keep listening. And like, you have to really like focus your hearing to hear the sound and kind of to catch it. And it sounded like it was in the same area I was. It wasn't like a distant sound.
Starting point is 00:42:41 It was just a talking or what I thought was talking. The way I can describe it. It's not like the Sierra sounds like this, I guess we call it Samurai Chatter kind of thing. It was a yammering. But it sounded like it could have been words, but it wasn't. And there was nobody. Like I felt like I should have been able to see what it was that was making the sound. And it just wasn't, there was nothing there.
Starting point is 00:43:09 And it was, you know, a higher pitched, you know, like picture two kids having a conversation. but no words, just yammering. And then at some point it got a little more excited, and I just took off running and got back to the cabin. And I can't explain what that was like it. So now I look back on that, and I'm going, okay, given adult experiences, what was that? Because I've heard the sound again.
Starting point is 00:43:43 And the other times I've heard it, in both, areas in the old hunting land and the land that I had the experience with my stepdad on I've I've heard this out but I've not the later times I've just not been afraid of it I've been like stopped and listen that's weird I've not heard it since I've had the view of like okay could this be something Bigfoot related and like really look any more further than that but just kind of like oh there's that sound again what the heck is that and and move on but it was just an odd I mean the first time I did I mean I have a high
Starting point is 00:44:16 high-powered rifle, and I just pick it up, and I'm gone. And, yeah, so I look back at that and go, okay, was that, was that something? And if I ever hear the sound again, because, again, I've not been afraid, now looking back on having experiences I had hearing sounds, I've not been afraid to go back in the woods. I've always been, I've always been like a little scared of the dark, right? So as a kid, and it is interesting to walk through the woods before daylight and go to a hunting spot. You know, it races the hair on your neck a little bit to walk in the dark and not know what's beyond your flashlight. And there are still hunting spots I don't like to go to in the morning because I have to walk through a certain area in the dark that I just don't like.
Starting point is 00:45:07 And all that to say, like if I'm in the woods and I hear that again, I'm going to. going to spend some time like either I'm going to find out that this is something that whoa I didn't know that could make that sound or I'm going to get further but I'm like I am determined to know what that is given knowledge that I have now it sounds like it man sounds like that really affected you and that's wild that's wild stuff um but it it also sounds like you're not really a guy who you're going to start going out and doing bigfoot expeditions? I don't think so, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:54 I've heard, you know, stories about, I think blurry creatures did a big episode, or it might have been, it might have been confessionals, but with a guy out at Abrams Falls in the Cades Cove. Oh, yeah. And I've hiked out there before. I love Cades Cove in college. I used to go there by myself and just like walk as long as I could. but I'm like, he would be interesting. I have another brother-in-law that he's a bigfoot guy.
Starting point is 00:46:30 And I can kind of joke and be like, hey, man, let's go to Abrams Falls and look for a bigfoot. But I just don't know. I feel like sometimes a guy like me just to go out searching, I don't know. I feel like the most compelling, a lot of the more compelling stories I've heard are from people just existing and being in the area. Absolutely. And they kind of encounter. And then, of course, you know, you go on expeditions and you guys, when you have that group of people, when you have the heat signatures that you have, and I looked at that. And to me, you know, it looks like a panda bear sitting in the woods.
Starting point is 00:47:07 And, you know, you catch things like that. But I just like, you know what? I think my mindset is if I'm going to see one, I'm in the woods enough. It seems like they're there. I'm just going to let it happen. And I'm not going to, I don't think I'm just going to spend the time going, like spending time to seek them out. It's not that much of a burning desire, but I have my own experiences. And if they occur in the course of my hunting, then I'm going to go out there.
Starting point is 00:47:35 I might take one, you know, like if we're in East Tennessee and, you know, up going on a hike or something, I might, my antenna might be up a little more for that sort of thing. And I think that, man, if you're just, if, if you're just hiking, if you're just hunting down in that state with a open, open ears and open eyes, you're probably going to have other stuff happen. I mean, just being out there like you were saying. But I'll share, I'll share a story with you real quick because, you never know.
Starting point is 00:48:11 you never know when you get to tell a story is right so recently I really wanted to do like a solo camp out before treatment start this coming Tuesday yeah and so I was like talking to my wife and I was like I really want to do this and she's like okay and then just to like clear my head you know Yeah. And the oncologist was like, well, we don't like you going through airports and like going out to Oregon. But like if it's close by that, you know, reconnect with nature, that's fine. I was like, okay, cool.
Starting point is 00:48:54 So I've always had, as you said, you know, fear of the dark. I've always had like an apprehensive fear of the dark as well. And I was like, this weekend, I'm like, I'm going to get over that. It's just, I'm going to get over it. So I usually get, go into the tent once it gets dark. But this time, I was like, I'm going to stay up, start a fire, and just hang out and get over this, right? So it's about like 1130 at night. I'm in the middle of the Iowa woods way out there.
Starting point is 00:49:33 No one else out there. And so I'm sitting by the fire. My back is to the tree line. and then you know like you can kind of sense there's something behind you and I did this whole like this whole deal where sorry for audio listeners it's like you kind of look a little bit to your back over your shoulder and um half a second after that something was on that tree line and just like ran off into the woods on two legs and I was like oh my goodness, what was that? And then about a minute later, this is the weird part. I heard something in the woods that sounded like an angry duck yelling at me. And I was like, I'm going crazy. Ducks don't sound angry in real life, I think. And it's in the middle of the night. I'm like, I don't know what happened. And then I went to bed.
Starting point is 00:50:33 It's interesting how you can have something like that and just like, you know what, I'm going to sleep. Well, I got really tired and I was like, I need to go to bed. It was very weird. It was a little weird, Jeremy. So I just want to throw that story out there. That's great. I know about it. I'm glad you got to get out.
Starting point is 00:50:50 Yeah, yeah. It was a good, you know, reset before the crazy stuff. So, but dude, thank you so much for coming on the show. if you do talk talk to him about what his agreement with bigfoot was send me an email i'd love to hear about it it would be a fun time uh but dude uh best to you know be safe out there when you're hunting down tennessee you never know what you're going to run into but but uh thank you so much for coming on the show today jeremy hey it's been a pleasure and uh hopefully we'll talk again someday Hey guys, how's it going?
Starting point is 00:51:29 Let me make sure feeling pretty good today. No prednisone today, so don't feel all amped up. So that's a good thing so far today. Hey, guy. I'm trying to get better. I just found out I've got AlphaGal from being on the mountain just collecting this spring and 13 ticks, and I'm very sick. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 00:51:58 I'm sorry to hear that. Hey, you have a radio or something in your background? Is there any way to turn that off? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry about that, bud. You're good. I'm kind of new to all this, so I'm sorry. Yeah, you're good.
Starting point is 00:52:11 I'm deer hunt here in eastern Kentucky. I live in Appalachia. I just moved here about two years ago. I didn't see anything, but I hang in the woods after dark to hear the creatures and everything move around me. Okay, interesting. What did you hear out there? It would have been on the very top of my mountain. I was a ways from it.
Starting point is 00:52:43 But it was like woo-oo. But more than anything, it resonated in my chest. It was like going to a concert with those big bass speakers and feeling that resonation in the chest. It was big. It was mighty. That was just one call. But it sounded like a great eight.
Starting point is 00:53:12 I mean, I'm 61 years old. I've been in the woods. I grew up on a farm my whole life. And I've never actually heard this kind of call. Wow. Oh, wow. So East Kentucky is pretty wild. I'm thinking of like Harlan counties over there, right?
Starting point is 00:53:34 Yeah. I live in Elliott County, Kentucky. Okay. Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Yeah. Let me look that up real quick. I don't know if I know Sandy Hook, Kentucky. I'm about an hour, 10 minutes from Lexington.
Starting point is 00:53:54 That's a close. It's a really big city. I'm actually closest to West Virginia and, you know, Cincinnati's about three hours away, but. So have you heard of, of other people experiencing things around your same area as well? Yeah, it's, it's, you know, the lore in Appalachia is, it's not lore. It's, it's kind of incredible, actually.
Starting point is 00:54:23 Oh, absolutely. I mean, you are about, I mean, you're east of like Cave Run Lake, Red River Gorge and all that. And that area is, is pretty wild as well. Yeah, the Cave Run Lake is, it covers seven counties and it's the largest manmade lake ever. And all the post offices, all the banks, all the cemeteries, they didn't move the graves. They just moved the headstone. So there's a lot of tricky stuff with that too. Do you have any idea what Faye are?
Starting point is 00:55:02 Oh, like the fairies? Yeah. Yeah. I've got photographic evidence on my deer cameras and with pictures I take of different color orbs that show up. And one of them actually, I kid you not more into a, it was red. It comes up and across the field right in front of the deer camera. It was just an orb and it morphed into just a red fairy and I just, it blew my mind.
Starting point is 00:55:42 I've been hearing this from a few people lately and not just on TikTok. Do you have that on a photo? I do. Wow. Is that something, I mean, if you'd be willing to share it, I would love to take a look at it. My email is Bigfoot Society at gmail.com, but that sounds incredible. It's actually the story went that I bought some horses at an auction and they traded them out for really old horses. And this horse was going to die if I didn't get him to the top of a mountain on better pasture.
Starting point is 00:56:22 My daughter's terrified of big animals and she was walking this horse up. It was getting dark. And, you know, she was afraid down in a really deep, our collar and these red, orange, and yellow orbs came, scared the horse. She had some idea what it was. When the horse calmed down, I'm not kidding you, they guided her all the way up to the mountain. I took a horse up there. And, I mean, now they come, like when I go on the mountain and I'm doing poetry shooting video,
Starting point is 00:56:56 I just stopped the other night to take photographs of the full moon and the clouds, settled over the valley. It's not fog, it's clouds were that high up. And here they came, and there's a green moon that when you do anything like creative or whatever, they come and hang out. And it's multiple orbs to get. See the energy, it actually looks like more than one together. It's kind of amazing. This is all new to me. But this must be just blow on your mind to experience that. It is. But I'm a good steward of my land.
Starting point is 00:57:37 I don't use any chemicals here. If I cut trees, it's very selectively. And my daughter had the theory that in that very dark holler, there's something ancient that lives there. And these face protected. They protected her. They protected that horse and I don't care what anybody says. I totally believe it because I'm experiencing it.
Starting point is 00:58:04 It's just the most amazing thing. The big whoop and it was a, the thing is it wasn't really close to me. It was calling in another direction. I don't know if it knew I was there, but it resonated in my chest so deeply. It was something big. It had to have been. That is wild. How big were the, like, the orbs you were seeing?
Starting point is 00:58:35 The orbs actually are not very big. Okay. Sometimes they're like the size of maybe a half dollar. Sometimes they're bigger than that. Sometimes it's kind of wild. When you take a picture, you don't see them. But when you look at the pictures later, There they are.
Starting point is 00:58:56 And then sometimes if you lose track of what you're seeing, if you look back through the camera, they're interactive. They play with you. They'll cut down in the grass and go behind you. I've debunk bugs, I've debunked, you know, just kind of wild, you know. Fascinating. So, Pockett, it sounds like you are just starting your story. I bet there's going to be more things that happen to you out there in Sandy Hook.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Thank you for sharing. man. Yeah, I've got 19 less, they're still totally dark cameras. But you know what's wild is they apparently like the cameras. They're drawn to them. And I don't know why I'm getting that kind of response, but I feel really blessed. I do. And I've been looking for a really good stick to knock, but I'm a little bit afraid something going to knock back.
Starting point is 00:59:51 You know, I mean. Right, right. Yeah, I get you. I get you, dude. Wild stuff, dude. Yeah, I mean, think it over. If you're able to share that photo, I'd love to see it, but totally up to you, man. So. I've got some photos. I'll send you the green ones. The one of the red one that came, that actually more, I believe that went to my dear camera company server as well. So I'm open that I can go back and recover that. But when I get these 19 cameras up, I'm really interested in what I pick up on video and audio.
Starting point is 01:00:31 Oh, my goodness. Yeah. Oh, great, wild stuff, Pocket. Thank you so much for sharing. Keep in touch, please. We got to hear what happens next. But thank you for hanging out with us today, man. Cool.
Starting point is 01:00:46 Good stuff. Pocket is new to this, and he is getting into the. the wild stuff of Kentucky. Thank you for coming up, sir. Hey, Molly, how are you? Hi, how are you? Hey, I'm doing it. Thank you for coming up. And I listen to you all the time. I just want to let you know, I'm sending you positive energy on your healing journey, and I love your shows. I listen to him every night before I go to bed. Thank you. Thank you, Molly. I appreciate that more than you know. Okay. I just wanted to, I was just sit and listen. I listen to you, you know, all the time, and these live call-ins. And I have a, I haven't had a sighting.
Starting point is 01:01:21 But I just thought I would share a couple of our experiences because we have a little, I have a little unique background. I would say probably not the typical people that go, you know, not that I'm not discounting anyone. I'm just saying with our background and our family, we have had the thing that got us interested in this was a strange experience our son had. And since then, my husband and I and our 11-year-old son have gone on to BFR. BFRO expeditions. And I just thought I would share that because it's really interesting. I think what we always say when we kind of talk about this, my husband and I is, well, we do have evidence of some very strange prints.
Starting point is 01:02:08 And if it's not Bigfoot making them, something is. And I know personally that these weren't faked. So I just thought I'd share that. It started out. my son about 15 years ago went camping in the Hoosier National Forest. And he, this is, I mean, I think the Bigfoot TV shows and things like that had, you know, been out. But he wasn't really, we weren't really watching them on a regular basis or anything. So he really wasn't into that.
Starting point is 01:02:37 But he was probably 19, you know, 18, 19, somewhere in there. He went with a friend and they went off trail. So they were doing a little bit, not completely primitive camping, but they went off trail and they went up near a fire tower. And he was, you know, texting periodically because he was still pretty young. We were not, we did not have Bigfoot fever. We were not into the whole. I mean, I've always liked things kind of strange and paranormal and kind of out there. My background is teaching.
Starting point is 01:03:07 I have a degree in teaching. My husband's electrical engineer. He went to a private engineering school. We have three boys. We've always been very open-minded to everything, but not really into the whole thing. Kind of out of nowhere, I get a picture from my son, and he's intelligent, soft-spoken, loves the wilderness. My husband's from a farm in Wisconsin. I'm from Indiana, so we've had a lot of experience out in the woods.
Starting point is 01:03:35 We're not a new beast, but we're not a huge hunting family or anything. We're camping, hiking, things like that. So he sends us a photo of he has a size 13 boot. And it was raining off trail, muddy everywhere. And he just sends me this picture of this ginormous footprint with his size 13 boot next to it. Huge. Probably like four or five at least inches length, twice past his boot and at least double the width of his boot.
Starting point is 01:04:17 The consecutive photos were that same print or a print similar to that going off. It was like something was crossing the trail at a left angle and they were on a ridge and you can see in the distance the fire tower. It wasn't, I would say it's probably more like an animal trail, you know, like a deer trail, something. It wasn't a hiking trail. It was probably later in the evening, misty, dark, not dark, but it was like the rainy evening kind of weather. The subsequent photos from that were the large footprints with smaller footprints inside of them off the trail.
Starting point is 01:04:59 And I was like, what was that? And my son's like, I don't know what that is. So, you know, he takes these photos, comes home. And we are very curious family. Like I said, open to everything. I like more of the woo-woo stuff. I mean, I just, I'm open for anything. You know, my husband is too.
Starting point is 01:05:17 So as a family, we're kind of like, I know that my son didn't go out there with like a fake print. You know what I mean? Off trail, primitive camping at night in the Hoosier National Forest by a fire tower. I know he didn't do that. Right, right.
Starting point is 01:05:30 So you know what I mean? It's like other people can say, oh, you know, that's fake room. He, those were, those are real. So we're like, what? Alex, as our son, we're like, what made those prints? So we start looking into it. We get super curious.
Starting point is 01:05:45 You know, it's a big, I read all Jeff Meldrum's books because my parents were professors. I'm very curious about, you know, science and all these other things. And I got to tell you, there's something out there making big footprints. Because since then, we've gone on two BFRO expeditions. Not that I'm a huge BFRO, you know, like fan. I know all the controversy with them and everything. But we've gone on two of those with my son. It was fun.
Starting point is 01:06:12 Our 11-year-old, we have an 11-year-old now, Alex, the one that found the prints originally is 29. And then we have a 26-year-old, three boys. And we went on camping. We'd be fun. It's also interesting for us, you know, for an 11-year-old. But our 11-year-old found a print in the grass by a small teepee structure woven altogether, weirdly. Here in Wisconsin, it was the Wisconsin BFRO. And it was just, we were kind of, I think, some of the adults went on the like more aggressive Bigfoot, you know, Sasquatch hunting with all their equipment.
Starting point is 01:06:47 And then we kind of went with like the older people and walked. But it's in a place here in Wisconsin that has had had a couple class A's recently. So we go, my son, my 11-year-old, he was 10th the time, it's like, what's that? It was very strange, you know, and we look kind of into the woods. Of course, a kid finds it. And it's this woven little, woven little, like, pyramid-looking thing. You know, do with it what you will. But it was done with something with hands, you know.
Starting point is 01:07:19 And so we're all walking, kind of walking around, you know, looking around. My son puts his hand down on the ground, and the person that was kind of leading the group said, yeah, that feels like a footprint. What do you know we brought casting material? and we cast it two big footprints. When you cast it and pressed it in there correctly, it is a footprint with toes and everything else. We have those here at home. Oh, cool.
Starting point is 01:07:44 We've kind of enjoyed the subject, but I just wanted to share that, that we have some prints, and our family has some experiences that are pretty reliable and very, very interesting. That's fantastic. Was that Bob leading the Wisconsin one? Yes.
Starting point is 01:08:04 Yeah, Bob's a great guy. I love Bob. Yep. He's really nice. He's really nice. He led the Iowa one. Because I went last year and he led the Iowa one. He's a really nice guy.
Starting point is 01:08:15 He's fantastic. Yes, he helped Hudson, you know, our son cast it. But I gotta tell you, we're all, we kind of look at it like this. You can say I believe or I don't believe in Bigfoot or Sasquatch all you want. But whatever, whether you want to both, whether you want to Believe in that or not, something organic is making large footprints. You know what I mean? No, exactly.
Starting point is 01:08:41 And it's like you can't explain it, right? Well, I know it is. But it's hard to logically explain a way. So if you're based out of Indiana, you were saying, Hoosier National Area? We lived in Indiana and now we live in Wisconsin. We moved here about five years ago. Well, I mean, Wisconsin, you got plenty of stuff. Just for people from Indiana, man, if I was out there, I'd be hitting up Morgan Monroe and Hoosier all the time.
Starting point is 01:09:12 That stuff is crazy. Yeah. Wisconsin, you guys have like, I mean, all sorts of wild stuff you could get into up there. It's pretty cool. Like the driftless area, that's pretty awesome. Yeah, and the farther north you go, the more sightings there are. And I'm right near the, oh, God, I can't remember what. called right now.
Starting point is 01:09:34 Where the, the, the, um, the, um, the, um, the, um, the places that have the big, huge, like, caves and things like that. I'm in a con of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Okay. So, um, we have a couple parks here that are like, have tons of sightings in them. Um, I get some stuff from, and I don't know how to say it, but it's like, uh, Shiaquemont, Nicolet National Forest by the border. It's like North Wisconsin.
Starting point is 01:10:03 Yeah. Yeah, that's a good area. Yeah, up in Door County, it's crazy. Yeah. But it's like, yeah, there's tons of forest and things. Another thing I wanted to say, like I started off like most people do, listening to Sasquatch Chronicles and really getting into that and thinking, you know, statistically with my science brain, how many of these people that have absolutely no
Starting point is 01:10:22 best interest in making crap up are making this up? You know what I mean? It's just insane. So I started listening to that. And now I heard the last caller mentioned a light in the small. these things about wharbs and I've always been trying to kind of like figure out what could happen. When I don't know something, you know, we kind of just say, it's okay to say I don't know.
Starting point is 01:10:40 Like I don't have to jump in camp. Exactly. Exactly. But I'll tell you, an experience with light that we did have is when we were all that same, it was the next year. We were with Bob again and my husband and my son and I did strap up and go with the big boys, you know, and go out into the deep, deep woods. And they were like, you're bringing Hudson.
Starting point is 01:11:02 I'm like, yep, we're bringing Hudson. But when we did take a lap around the place the year before where Hudson had found that print and that little woven thing, you know, we were walking around a lake, dark. It was like super creepy. My husband, Jason, and Bob were kind of probably about 15 steps in front of like five of us. And Bob and Jason like just like screamed, like yelled. They both yelled all of a sudden and were like, what?
Starting point is 01:11:33 They're like, what was that? And the five of us that were behind him, we were just kind of stopped looking around in different directions. Bob and Jason said, what was that? That wasn't lightning. They both at the same time saw the brightest flash of light. And my husband being an electrical engineer, you know, he's like, I cannot describe to you, Molly, how bright this was.
Starting point is 01:11:58 But we didn't see it, like five feet behind them. And there had been some weird noises in the woods. We'd heard a couple little strange chirps and some kind of strange things on this little path we were taking. But Bob and Jason were both very shook by this bright flash of light that the rest of us didn't see. They said it was like a bluish white light. And Jason and Bob had the same experience. I don't know how that relates. But they experienced that and we didn't.
Starting point is 01:12:23 And it was very, very, very weird. And to shake my husband up is almost impossible. Wow. Yeah. Very weird. It is weird how weird light stuff seems to connect to the phenomenon. And I've experienced that down in Tennessee over back in April. It was weird.
Starting point is 01:12:43 But, but, man, Molly, thank you so much for coming up and for chatting a little bit. Check out the kettle moraine area. Someone put down the comments. Oh, that's what I was trying to think of. I'm so new here. That's the area for you. The weird stuff goes on in there. I'm going to head over there in a couple weeks and just, we take, we take hikes during the day.
Starting point is 01:13:00 but I think I'm going to strap up and go by myself. Look up, watch, do you know Jay Pachochin? Yes. Okay, so you've watched this stuff? Good, good, good, good. I've been thinking that maybe I should get a hold of him because he's not very far from me. You know, he's a really nice guy.
Starting point is 01:13:19 I've met him in person, and I would recommend he might be a guy that would be up to being reached out to. You never know, but he's a really nice guy. I've hung out with him at a festival. Okay, awesome. I'd recommend it. Well, thank you for letting me up to share our stuff.
Starting point is 01:13:32 And thank you for your show. I absolutely love it. And good luck to you. Thanks, Molly. Have a good luck. Thank you. All right. Bye-bye.
Starting point is 01:13:38 Good stuff. Got to love hanging out with another Midwestern. Hi, Sabina. How's you? Good. Thank you. Awesome. Feel free to share what you would like to share, Sabina.
Starting point is 01:13:53 Haddy, Salfi, Svienka, Deney, Sabina, Dennis. Statni. I'm from Dakhakh territory in central BC and our people always know there's Sasquatch, there's no doubt or question. We don't have to question that. We know that. We have a name for our Sasquatch, a few names. One is Tsailol, and the other is Denei, which means man-eater.
Starting point is 01:14:26 The other one, I'm not sure the meeting. more of a name. And I was very picking on one of our beautiful sacred mountains, Basqueth, right beside our village. And I was 14. And in those days, we pick very still. We do everything living on the land. And so I was by myself quite far away from the village, like about four kilometers and I rode my bike, hiked up the mountain, picking gooseberries, the first berries ripe into spring, early summer. And all of a sudden I smelled this most foul odor, worse than any rotten foul I ever smelled in my life.
Starting point is 01:15:15 And I looked over across, there was a big cliff on the other side of the cliff. I was on one side and on the other side of the cliff, I looked over and I could see giant trees, giant trees like about, some of them were about two feet in diameter, like large fir trees and some really large poplar trees. and it was coming towards me in a line of trees, and the trees were swaying back and forth about 20 feet, 20 feet to the side to the side. And so I just freaked out and just ran down the side of the cliff mountain, like about, it was about between two to four meter strides I was taking down the mountain running,
Starting point is 01:16:12 because it was so terrifying. And I just jumped on my bike and rode home, and I told my grandma, I said, there must have been a grizzly bear up there, grandmother. And she said, and I, what happened? And I recalled the story exactly what happened. And she said, ah, Cetlol wanted to come and abduct you because in our people's beliefs, they abducted virgins.
Starting point is 01:16:39 and I was a virgin and she said you're lucky you didn't get abducted and then not long after I was recalled stories of our not long ago passed where our village when the white man first came and about the mid early 1900s in our territory they came to settle in our area and the white man started burying our bodies we started burying our bodies we started always cremate. Sure enough that buried, unburied, they'd find a robbed grave with the body's missing. And so the minister, the Catholic minister told the people he would find out what it was. They knew it was, it was De Nea Yi, the man-eater. But he buried himself and put a straw in the ground so he could breathe. And sure enough that Denea Yi came and
Starting point is 01:17:47 put him in a big sack on his back and carried him to our sacred mountain right beside on the other side. It's called Gatsiz Mountain. And there is a big cave there where the Denea Yi has been known to live
Starting point is 01:18:04 for many, many thousands of years. And sure enough he took him there. and down, down, down, so deep into the mountain. And he was around the family members and everything. When they went out, they went to sleep, and he took his opportunity and started to run, run from out to out.
Starting point is 01:18:30 And that Sasquatch chased him back to the village. And the people surrounded that Sasquatch and killed it. And that was told to me by a 90-year-old elder in the 90s. So that was an account after colonizer came. And there's a story of after colonizer came of that they also killed a Sasquatch baby in our village and they buried it somewhere near the village. And then sure enough that Mother Sasquatch, she kept knocking on the windows of all the village members and harassing the village for scaring them in their homes.
Starting point is 01:19:28 In their, they had white man homes back then. It was probably in the mid-1900s. And then they had to unburry that baby Saskwark. that they killed and they offered it back to the mother, just put it on the ground somewhere out there, and then after that, they were allowed to, they were at peace. The mother left them alone after that.
Starting point is 01:19:57 And then another time, not long ago, only a few years ago, along the north shore of the lake where I live, my sister and I were doing a ceremony, and it was getting dark. past dark by the time we were done and the embers were just leaving our ceremony. They were just burning out but we had to wait and sure enough all of a sudden, 20 trees at least fell at once. Big trees and one right in front of my truck. We were very terrified but we continued to complete our ceremony. And it took about 20 more minutes or so.
Starting point is 01:20:47 And when we went to walked up to the truck from the water side to leave, and sure enough that big giant tree was only like inches from the front of my vehicle, luckily not the back or else we would have been stuck there. So I didn't, we just drove up the hill and I had to move trees off the road that had fallen. above the road like quite far. And oddly, the night before that, before we did this ceremony, I had a sacred bundle set up and in a big, big drum and out in the bush waiting for us. I just said it there. And before we got there to do our ceremony, that drum had been thrown off the road like, like, um,
Starting point is 01:21:39 in a very human like manner. And, um, um, um, Yeah, so like I said, our people don't question if there's Bigfoot. Another story I had was when I was in territory in Sequhuech, a little bit farther away, different nation from me on the West Fraser and I was in a little cabin with my friend and it was getting late. My little daughter was sleeping and all of a sudden we could hear scraping on the outside of our cabin. It was a little probably 20 by 20 cabin. It sounded like somebody dragging a stick around the cabin on the outside, all the way around.
Starting point is 01:22:34 And we were pretty scared, but just went to bed and then first thing in the morning I went out to look and there was a stick drag on the ground in the mud and it went from the cabin across the road to a little trail on the mountain right behind us and there I could see human footprints and then as it was and the stick drag beside it and then as it turned into a coyote those prints with that stick drag and That's another encounter we had when I was picking berries, picking mushrooms. More else, after the big, huge, latest fire in our territory about six years ago, not even maybe, three, four years ago maybe.
Starting point is 01:23:37 And we were way up in the bush and we almost got lost. and my friend which we don't take a compass or anything usually I just know the way and I unusual circumstance happened where I lost my way it was very weird and I was like okay we got to retrace my footprints back to where I lost my senses and so we started heading back all of a sudden every time giant is sound way out in the bush like we were 40 kilometers to to the nearest people. And it was the loudest sound eerie, just so from way across the mountain side,
Starting point is 01:24:25 like it must have been about 20 kilometers away, but it was so loud. And it was like a holler, very human like holler. Nothing like an elk, nothing like a crazy little fox or any of those sounds screeching cat, Nothing like that, howling wolf, nothing. I heard it all. And my friend and I both, we just found our trail instantly
Starting point is 01:24:55 because the direction that that sound came from was the exact direction of the trail that I had lost. So a part of me feels like although it was time to go and we knew it, because at evening time we don't go in the bush, we don't pick, that's animal time. and we were stretching it. And that animal, that sacred man being, showed us the path by being in the exact direction of that path. So when I looked at the sound where it was coming from,
Starting point is 01:25:31 I could see the path. And so we did not get lost that day. And so, you know, sometimes those beings help us. one time when I was up in the Witsuitan territory because I do activism in the territory to try to stop pipelines from going through. And we were having a simple meeting outside our camp, all indigenous only. And all of a sudden, again, there was rocks being thrown at the roof right beside us. Just rocks. They just, some of them throw rocks. On the coast of BC, they call them Sninnik's and Bookes.
Starting point is 01:26:16 Anyway, that's all I have to share today. Sabina, incredible stories that we would never really hear any other way. Thank you for sharing your culture with us. I have just a quick question. So would happen a lot where people would be taken from your tribe by these or is that a not a common occurrence? Yeah, one lady, my dad's friend growing up, she got taken by a Sasquatch and she, when they found her not long after, they thought she was going to be gone forever, but when she came back
Starting point is 01:27:00 and she was young, her hair was all gray. She was taken by a Sasquatch. And that was my dad's 76 years old. Wow. My goodness. Thank you for sharing. I appreciate it. Hopefully we will hear from you another day if you're able to hang out with us, but we're really appreciative of everything you shared today.
Starting point is 01:27:32 Thank you. Yeah, I just came across you and I just followed you right now. I never knew you existed before. So, you know, I'm sure you've maybe my dad seen one. He was canoeing on the river and he thought it was a bear. And sure enough, it was a man standing giant tall. And he just also got that foul odor. Another guy in our village, seen one too, and it was in the outhouse and it was eating tan.
Starting point is 01:28:07 Really? Yeah. Oh, my goodness. That's very, very intense. but it's it's very real it is very real lots of people seeing them up here okay take care i can't imagine thank you sabina i'll follow you as well have a good one yeah bye wow hi daniel how are you um i'm good yourself doing great i have not encounter like seen before my own self like seeing it myself but i have had like instances where um i have i have i have i have i have
Starting point is 01:28:45 It had made me believe that they are big food, even when having seen them with my naked eye, like trying to see them and be like, yeah. So. Oh, sure, yeah. Sure. Sure. Sure. There was a time that we had, we had a trip in Tennessee.
Starting point is 01:29:05 Yeah. So, and it was a water force area. Like, I'm an international student, so I can't, I quite, don't remember the name of the place. so I've not been here for long. So we went to this place and it has a very, the water force has a very big valley where when you look down, it's kind of, it's very deep. So most of the time people go descend down when the river,
Starting point is 01:29:38 I'll say the water is very low and they go to the force. So at a point in time in the river when I was walking I was just observing how the water is flowing and it was very plain and you could see some tiny fishes, golden fishes and stuff in it so I was just being observant very observant watching things a lot so I noticed that there was like a kind of little little food steps in the water But you can't, unless you keep paying attention before you could know that there are full steps, because it's very big. So when you are walking through the water, you feel like you are just going up and down in the water because you feel like the streams are not like the water flowing is not smooth. You know, so I started observing that anytime we walk like five to 10 meters, you just go down and you walk a little bit.
Starting point is 01:30:41 So most of the time, a lot of people were working into water. So the water was kind of unclean. Like it was just dead. It becomes dirty a little bit, like dusty and something like that. So I was like, okay, I'd rather take my time for a lot of people to go and I'll come later. So my friends were like, okay, okay, they are heading for it and they'll all come later. So I started, you know, the water is flowing so it takes that away. So over a period of time, like I wait like 20 to 30 minute because it is not a bunch of people going at the same time.
Starting point is 01:31:18 So I noticed that when they left and I went back a little bit. So I was like, I wanted to know why we have ups and down while these streams is flowing this way and it is not raining season where you'll be saying it is erosion. So I started watching and I went back and you could. see despite people have walked through in for a while you could see that it looks like a foot but it's way way bigger than my like it's way way way so it's way way way so i was i started from i was like okay so it looks like there was a full steps in that way like there's a big big full steps in that way and it was going opposite direction of where we were going so it looks like the thing is rather from where we were going to elsewhere
Starting point is 01:32:08 So where we are going, where the force was where we are going, the food was opposite the place. So like the toes are facing where we're coming from. So that was when I noticed it was big food. But I was trying to mention it to my friends and they were like, I believe in too much. I believe a lot too much. So I didn't continue to try to convince them because it. They didn't want it to even hear me out. So I was like, okay, and I kept to myself.
Starting point is 01:32:44 But I believe that there was a big foot. Yeah, I believe. How long, how long was that footprint you saw? And, okay, so I was measuring with my, I was trying to measure in my foot, like my foot. So I could say like, I'm just trying to mimic the day how I did it again. Before I tell you, wow. So like, like at three, like my three foot. right, my three foot, I'm very tall, I'm a little bit tall.
Starting point is 01:33:17 So my three foot and a little bit, like a half, I'll say three foot and a half. So something like that. And the way I saw the thing makes me look like. And the place is very big. So if at night there is no lighting system there. So if at night such a being is walking there, it is going to be very difficult to like seeing it, like see it
Starting point is 01:33:42 because it's a big value. It's a deep value. So if something is walking there, that night, nobody's going to be there to really see it. Right. Yeah. Can you share what size foot or what size shoe you wear? I wear like 43.
Starting point is 01:34:00 It depends on if I wanted to very, my original size foot is 42. Okay. So 42 ends shoe in US. And you said it was how many of those? Like three and three and, like a three quarter or three and a half or something like that. Okay. So that's really big because that's equivalent to a men's eight and a half or nine.
Starting point is 01:34:28 So that's a pretty big track, man. That's wild. Thank you for sharing that, dude. All right, guys. Well, make sure you're following this account. Last call. If someone wants to come up, this is it. I will be headed out here.
