You're listening to Bigfoot Society, and I'm Jeremiah Byron.
Tonight's account is from a retired postal worker who had an experience near the Little Fall Creek area just outside the Willamette National Forest near Oak Ridge, Oregon.
What she experienced still affects her to this day.
And this is what happens when the thing in the woods decides to watch you from just a few feet away.
So stay with us.
All right, Bickfa Society.
You've got the privilege of talking to Jane today.
Jane is an individual that wanted to come on to the show from Oregon.
I experienced a very intense encounter.
And so Jane is on the show to share that.
Thank you so much for coming on.
Jane, how are you doing today?
I'm doing all right.
Thanks, Jeremiah, for having me on.
Absolutely. You know what, Jane, I'm going to go ahead and give things right over to you so you can, you know, feel free to take us back to when this started.
Any information you need to set the scene and we'll be listening to you.
Okay. So this was November of 2014. And I live in the Pacific Northwest.
And at that time, I lived in Little Fall Creek, Oregon.
And that's adjacent to the Willamette National Forest and the Georgia Pacific Timber Track.
It was on a beautiful 15 acres, and my neighbors were separated by an acre or two in three directions.
So I was basically a house away from everybody else's.
It wasn't like a subdivision or close-in neighbors.
And yeah, that week was very cold outside.
and the frost had settled in for several days in a row.
And the week before we had a dust in the snow.
So at this time, I worked for the U.S. Postal Service, and I kept really early hours.
In fact, I'd hit a deer two separate times on my journey to work this particular month,
and I only had to go less than 10 miles to work.
On this particular morning, I went out and start my Wrangler and get it heated up and begin my eyes scraping.
and I headed outside with coffee and hand walking up to my Jeep to start my rig.
And then the windshield was totally frosted over.
It was very cold outside.
And there was a horrible smell that had settled in like something had died out there.
Usually it was crisp, fresh air that waited for me in the morning.
As I'm making my way around to the front of the Jeep, I notice a light brown tree.
in front of me and I'm thinking I had a tree die more track to work for the weekend so I begin
scraping the side windows when I feel a cold dread rise up in front of me and all the hair in my neck
and arm raises up I had the porch light on which was very minimal light and I certainly never had
anything to worry out there before so I get in the Jeep and I decide to move it closer up to the deck
and it was right off the steps, so it provided me more light.
It was maybe 15 feet closer to the house.
So I begin scraping again and dread never leaving.
I move around to the front of my Jeep's hood to the other side to finish my job,
and just then my movements triggered the floodlights.
And I look up and I see that that ground tree is a Sasquatch.
It's standing just in the shadow sloth.
previously, definitely hidden behind trees and the shade of them, but now it was illuminated fully
right in front of me. It was not a trick of light. There was no mistaking what I saw. This thing was
huge. And five, five, and it was almost 15 feet away from me downhill. And this thing has at least
three feet over me. Flight, no, fight, no, freeze, yes. We still. We still. We still. We still. We still. We're
there staring each other, observing the situation, what felt like at least two to three minutes.
Neither of us making a move. I'm 100% this thing was watching me or stalking me.
What it was planning, I don't know, but it was certainly up to no good.
Then my body catches up with my brain and I start screaming.
I'm an old native girl and I can cuss like a sailor and I'm screaming like crazy,
throwing several obscenities into.
The same looks at me in the eyes and it tilts his head.
And just then, its eyes shine.
And they're a most beautiful blue that I've ever seen.
Blueer than a huskies.
Pretty eyes, but stinky smell and absolutely terrifying in size.
It had at least four feet shoulder width.
Just then my husband comes running out the door and he couldn't see it in the view.
because it was on the other side of the Jeep.
I'm screaming.
Go, get out of here.
Get out of here.
And it slowly tilts its head, turns around, and begins slowly lumbering into the woods and disappears.
I wonder what it would happen if my husband hadn't come out the door.
My husband says, what did you see?
I said, a Yeti.
He says, what?
I said, it was a Sasquatch.
And, of course, he looked at me like I grew another head.
I get in the Jeep and leave aggravated that he didn't believe me.
He knows I'm certainly not a hysterical person.
I smoke a pack of cigarettes on my 10-mile journey to work and start sorting mail.
My boss comes in about two hours later and I start telling her about what I'd seen.
And she gives me the look like, you know, she's lost her mind.
Just then the ranger's office come in and pick up the mail for their office.
One of the park rangers said to me, did I hear you right?
did you have some sort of incident this morning thinking maybe I shouldn't say anything obviously
I already had two people not believing me one man that I've been married to for 25 years and the
boss that I spent a lot of time with I said yeah I did it scared me he then told me that they had
13 incidents in little fall freak last night and this morning I felt instantly vindicated
He began telling me for some reason these things around our area have a blue ice shine.
That was the most frightening thing ever in my life I've experienced.
I've been on ships burning and sinking at sea, and I would take that over this any day.
Originally where I was parked, I had to bend five feet away from this thing.
The ground was hard and there was no prints.
And I never went outside again in the dark up there.
then I couldn't handle it anymore
and where I live was definitely God's country
but I moved almost a couple years later
I don't go to the swimming hole anymore
I don't go camp I only do city hiking
and took all that away from me
some people look at me like I'm crazy
and others say they believe me
I'm definitely a believer now
I always felt that people who had seen these things
seeing something
I imagine it's been far away or it's in shadow.
I was raised in a military family of nine children.
I learned to hunt, can't fish, hike, and picnic.
I was swim in the wilderness.
I moved away from Oregon when I joined the Navy,
and I always wanted to move back to enjoy the great outdoors.
The swimming in the summer is amazing.
I spent 20 years away from Oregon after that.
Everything changed for me.
I'm sure I'm sure I've got some kind of
PTSD. I thought I knew what was in the forest. I was never afraid of anything. But now I'm so debilitated by the encounter. I can't go back into the forest. It made absolutely no noise. It had a big head, but more round than I expected for Bigfoot. Big round black eyes, except when I saw the eyes shine. It was brown with a cream colored mixture, not full on albino, but very muscular, long arms, not
human-like. They reached down around the knees. I only wish I would have had a dash cam.
I could have sent you pictures of what I saw. Heck, I didn't even have a smartphone, man.
I don't know how to go back into the forest after my encounter. I hope I can become braver.
What really bothers me is what was it playing or was it just watching, but why was it so close?
Would it have killed me, hurt me, abducted me? Too much food for thought there. All the reasons.
for fear. I still feel that fear when I think about it. And you know, that's the end of my encounter,
but I go over it constantly in my head and you think, what was it I saw? Am I going crazy or
something like that? But I seen it just as soon as the floodlight came on. And it didn't make
any any movement toward darting into the darkness.
It just stood there and watched.
And it scared the heck out of me.
That's it, Jeremiah.
Wow.
That is intense, extremely intense.
Thank you for sharing that with us.
Yeah.
I can tell that you went right back there.
I do have a few questions for you.
just some clarification
things. So
little fall creek, this is
the Little Fall Creek that's north
of Fall Creek Lake.
Is that right?
It's down below it, yes.
There's a
creek that flows along the side
of it and it's called
Little Fall Creek. And then there's
upper Fall Creek, which is the one that has
the big reservoir and the dam
and all that.
Okay, okay.
So you are actually, at this point, you're south of the reservoir, but you're north of Lull, is that right?
Correct, yes.
Okay.
Wow.
Oh, my goodness.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And, you know, I can't get over the eyes, the big black eyes.
And to be honest with you, I could only gather the immense size in.
But if I had big foot lined up in front of me, unless one of us.
them was kind of tanish colored until one from the other, I'm sure, because like, the eyes just drew
me in. And I remember seeing his shoulders and his arms were really long. And I'm saying it's a
he when I don't know if it's a he. But yeah, I was, I was just like looking at its face.
You know, the eyes just drew me in. And it's like it throws me. Like, I saw,
stopped dead in my tracks.
You know, when I first went out to start scraping my Jeep, I had to been five feet
closer to this thing.
You know, so I mean, it was within arm's reach, you know, so that was another thing
that scared me.
And see, we had a gravel pad that we had built up with landscaping timbers on one side,
on one side.
And that's why he was downhill.
He was not on the pad.
So he was three feet lower than the pad where I was standing.
And I was still looking up at him.
Man, so easy.
It was huge.
Eight and a half, nine and a half feet tall.
I mean, is a massive, massive creature.
Oh, boy.
Yeah, he was just huge.
It's wild how many reports come out of this general area that you're describing when you talk about it.
I mean, I've talked to multiple people over the years.
And at the festival in Oak Ridge, I had an individual tell me that.
So the wind, is it Winbury or Wineberry by the lake?
Winbury.
Winbury.
This individual.
Yeah, that's just down the road from me.
Absolutely.
This individual told me that there was actually a, some kind of study that happened by the university back in the 70s of the Winberry Wildman.
I guess that's what the name was.
of it was I haven't been able to track down any information about how to see these reports.
But there's something out there.
There are reports collected in the 70s or early 80s.
So if anyone knows info about that, please reach out Bigfoot Society at Gmail.com.
But one of the most interesting things about your report, I don't think I've ever heard before, is you were actually looking at the eyes and you.
saw them change from big black eyes to actually shining eyes with blue.
Is that right?
Yeah, but the, yeah, the light hit his eyes just right when he tilted his head.
And they were blue all of a sudden, just beautiful blue.
And then he tilted his head back.
They went back to black.
I think what it was like, animal eyeshine that you see, like if you point a flashlight
light at a cat or something in the yard.
You see their eyes shine because they look up at the light.
But when he tilted his head, that's when they were blue.
And it was unbelievable.
And I couldn't believe how close is saying.
See, I'm deaf in one ear, so I wouldn't have heard anything.
Because I was focusing on my Jeep and the Jeep was running.
and, you know, and I was scraping.
So anything, and he was on my right side from me, and that's my deaf side.
So I didn't hear any growling.
I didn't feel, you know, like, you know, I felt a presence, but it was my body that felt the presence, not my mind.
Because my body reacted.
I mean, I felt dread, and I felt like there was something around me because the hair of my
arm raised up, the hair on my neck raised up.
When I realized all that, and I came around the other side of my Jeep and I decided to move it closer,
you know, I don't know what this thing was doing as far as was it just observing me, but why was he so
close?
If he was just observing me, wouldn't you think he would have stayed hidden?
You know, and that's the frightening part.
You know what?
just what I want to see, you know, in the newspaper, my kids see in the newspaper that, you know, Bigfoot snatches woman out from property, you know.
Yeah, exactly.
Geez.
The next day, the next day, did you, were you able to see anything around the property, like, tracks or anything evidence-wise?
No, the ground, the ground was really hard.
I did walk out there and look around where I'm.
I had seen him.
There was nothing.
There was nothing.
I tried to see tracks.
I tried to see scratch marks, everything.
And the woods behind me was very dense, very dense.
I mean, it would be easy.
And I always had beer in my yard.
But, you know, as soon as he turned and took like three
steps, he was gone.
The only thing that I kind of regret was that I didn't take my Jeep and go off road chasing
him, you know, because I wanted to see more because I only seen the eyes and the shoulders
and the head.
And it was, it was such a light brown that I had ever seen, you know, and it was more coffee
colored than like a dark brown or you know you know a coffee that has creamer in it I should say
you know so yeah it was it was totally frightening so you saw the shape of the head the eyes
other details of the face it sounds like you weren't able to see no I was I was but it had me
just locked in on those eyes
You know, when I first came around the Jeep and the sensor came on, that's when I seen the full body.
And then I'm standing there stunned and it's just staring me directly in the eyes and I just stopped.
And I was like, oh, my God.
And then my head's just going a mile a minute, but I'm unmoving.
It can't.
It was weird.
It was like I was hit with a stun gun or something because your first is, you know,
If you see a bear in front of you, your first idea is to run away.
You know what?
But this thing just, it felt like it had me locked into something.
Wow.
Does that make any sense?
No, it absolutely does based on other things I've heard.
Did you also have a sudden change in emotional state at that time, too?
After I started screaming, yes.
It was a sudden change as far as.
Fear, unbelievable fear, because I felt like this thing meant me harm.
You know, and I just, I know big kids real.
You know, people, people, you know, even one of my sons said, you know, that you've probably seen something and your mind was playing tricks with you and all this other stuff.
And I'm like, how can I misidentify something that was within 10 feet of me and shining in the floodlight?
I mean, we're talking big floodlights up there in the acreage because you want to see a long ways when your floodlights are on.
And yeah, this thing was in full and living color.
There was no mistaking what it was.
The other interesting, one of the other interesting things from your account is the story of the interaction with the Ranger.
And knowing this area pretty well, I would assume we're talking about the nearest Ranger station, right?
Yeah, it was, it was the Ranger Station.
Let me think if I can think of the street.
It's only over two streets, maybe three.
It's less than half a mile from the post office.
Okay.
And that's where everybody goes to get their Christmas tree permits so they can go up there and get,
they can find out about anything that has to do with wildlife and trails and all that.
But yeah, that interaction with that one, I was, I was in shock when he said that.
You know, he said people in Little Fall Creek and Fall Creek had had insurance that night.
13 in the morning.
Correct?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Right.
So that would be the middle for ranger station and Oak Ridge, right?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, that's what I'd be called.
Yeah.
Great people there.
I've talked to them for a few years.
Fantastic people that work there.
Hats off to them.
Right.
So this is interesting because your account takes place in November 2014, which is about
at time of recording,
about 11 years ago, that's long enough for an individual to potentially be retired.
Sure, sure, or moved on.
I know that they do their contract a little bit different than like the post offices.
Post office pays hourly.
I think the Ranger Station does something a little different as far as their retirement
or maybe moved on to another place or whatever.
Yeah.
I say that to say if that individual's listening, I'd love to talk to you, even if it has to be off record and off air. I still would love to talk to you. I feel like there's a lot of information from that certain organizations know. Right. And it'd be great, great to share that, I think. But afterwards, you.
You know, you've heard, okay, my neighbors are experiencing this, too, 13 accounts in the same night.
Did you do any research to see, like, okay, can I find out anything about these other encounters?
Or were you at the point where you're like, I don't want to deal with this ever again?
I don't, it was that way.
I was so afraid that I had 15 acres to mow.
Okay, so I was always on my tractor and, you know, and on my right.
longmore, beating back to Blackberry bushes and the grass and all that. And I'll tell you,
I was so scared. I just wanted to put it all behind me. You know, since a lot of Bigfoot shows
have been made available to the public, I felt that it was time. It was time that I told somebody
because, you know, it's not getting any easier for me to go into the wilderness. In fact,
I'd love to buy property again.
He doesn't just settle for, you know, there's the grass man who goes out in the grass and there's all the other ones, the Yeti that's up in the snow.

Or whatever, you know, he doesn't just settle for, you know, rural areas.
You know, he could be anywhere.
And that's the scary part, you know.
Oh, absolutely.
I mean, you're absolutely right.
There are sightings in pretty much every state except for Hawaii that have been reported.
So, yeah, it can be suburban.
It can be rural.
It can be, you know, anywhere for sure.
But did you ever hear any other?
stories in your time
living there in that area, maybe from
Oak Ridge or from Lowell or Dexter
or the area north?
No, no. I never
did. In fact, you know,
I only told my boss and then the
Ranger Station and I was like,
I was like done. I was like,
you know, so, you know,
there was
really no place to
report
something like this. I mean,
who was, I
supposed to report it to in 2014.
You know what? So, you know, now I feel, now I feel like, you know, I can tell somebody
about it and at least it can be, it can be logged in as, you know, there was something seen
up there. And, you know, yeah. And my husband, when I said, yeah, it was a Yeti, you know,
and at that time, I didn't know the difference between a Yeti, a Sasquatch and the abominable
snowman. I always thought it was the same preacher.
But then I did a little research, and they are actually different because the Yeti is smaller.
So that means that was Bigfoot, not the abominable and not a Yeti.
You know, so yeah, he was big.
There's no doubt about it.
You know, the only way I could estimate it was because I'm 5'5 and I was up on three feet of gravel.
And then he was still taller than me.
And he was downhill.
It is a different time.
You know, back then, as you said, there wasn't really a place in that area to tell about that.
That would be, you know, they'd respect you.
Now in Oakridge, there is an actual Bigfoot Museum you can go to by DQ called Area 58.
People are listening.
They want to tell someone face-to-face.
You can go to that museum and tell your account.
It's a great place, good people running.
Priscilla.
Yes.
I have to go through the mountains to get to O'Critz.
Oh, right.
Exactly.
Exactly.
I got to palm my racing heart because every time I think about this, it does something to me.
You know what?
No, I definitely understand.
So, yeah, yeah, I understand.
And I want to say thank you so much for spending some time today.
going through this encounter again, making sure it's out there.
And I hope that you're able to get back into a good emotional state after this pretty quickly.
But yeah, I was terrified.
Just a very interesting account about the area.
And I just want to make sure that I, so south, if I'm looking on a map on Google,
south of Falk Creek Lake, north of Falk Creek Lake, north of the area.
of Lull, that area, right?
Right.
It's called Little Fall Creek, yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
There's a covered bridge right there, just down from the,
and if you follow the covered bridge into, it's called Little Fall Creek, you come to a T.
And if you take that T, you cross right over Little Fall Creek.
And I was a mile up from that T.
Oh, wow.
Man, you were that close to the reservoir?
No, no, no, no.
You're going the wrong way.
Okay.
Gotcha.
Yeah.
All right, that makes more sense.
Oh, that covered bridge.
I get it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, yeah, I was, yeah, there's, in fact, I felt that Little Fall Creek was going to be the home for the rest of my life because I had been up on that hill that I had bought on several times, you know,
mowing down brush and stuff like that.
And it was so beautiful that it was like,
it really felt like I had come home and this was God's country, you know what?
And, you know, just seeing the mountains and the creek running through down by the road.
And just it was an amazing view.
And after that, it broke all that in me, you know what?
because I was just like, I didn't have a gun, you know,
and I don't even know if a gun would help at this point, you know what?
But I was scared to death, you know, just literally terrified of seeing this,
this, the Sasquatch that close to me and with those floodlights coming on,
and he was right in front of me just bigger than anything, you know,
know it. So yeah, it wasn't, it wasn't I seeing a glimpse through the trees or something passed on
the road in front of me or anything like that. It was, he was right there. Right there.
And he was cream color, which was really, really something, you know, I, I believe people when
they said they had seen something, you know, what, what are you supposed to say? You didn't see
anything. No, I believe people when they said they've seen something. It's hard to tell when it's
going through the trees or it's, you know, crosses in front of you, you're like, what did I just
see? You know, but, you know, it was right in front of me, just right there. You know, I'm thinking,
I'm thinking of the way you're describing the color and it reminds me, there's another
interview I did in the Fall Creek area. And the witness explained it as being,
the color of it being strawberry blonde, which is also very unique.
Maybe, maybe.
You know, and I don't know if I've seen any strawberry in it, you know,
but then again, I suppose it could be because it was,
it was almost a tan, but not quite, you know, and it wasn't white.
It was like a tan, because I literally thought it was a dead pine tree in front of me.
you know, a good-sized pine tree.
You know, I thought it was a dead pine tree that I was going to have to tear out of there with my tractor.
And that wasn't the case at all.
You know, so, yeah, and even when I talk to other people about it,
they say they believe me, but they have never actually had that encounter, you know,
as far as seeing a big foot.
Wow.
I wouldn't wish that on anybody because it was the thing that I didn't know what it was doing there.
Why was it so close to me watching me?
You would have thought that it would have, if it wanted to observe,
you would have thought it would have been from backaways where it wouldn't be seen.
You know what?
It's just one of those questions that you, you know, you, you,
And you probably will never get the answer to it.
Why was it so close to my house?
Did I have a pet there?
Did I have food?
Why was it attracted to that close to the house?
We'll never know.
I didn't have any dogs.
Yeah.
I didn't have any cows.
I didn't have any horses.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The only thing that was there was me in the morning doing the thing that I always do.
You come out, scrape the ice off the Jeep, you know, fire.
up and go off to work.
You know, so I don't know what it was thinking.
He had plenty of deer, a cougar, a bobcat, all of those.
In fact, the lady down below, she had Rhode Island Red chickens, and she said they had kept
coming up missing.
So he might have been on his way down there.
at this point, you know, unless Sasslutch tells me what he was doing, I don't know.
Absolutely.
Well, I appreciate you reaching out and coming on the show, being able to set aside how this makes you feel for a few minutes
to be able to make sure that people that are listening are aware of what's happened in this area.
And maybe other people can reach out because.
of this as well, things they've experienced in the same area.
I was still up there. I'd have trail camps for sure.
Plus a big fortress built around my house.
Absolutely.
Yeah, I couldn't live in that.
I mean, I had one of those regular fences that you fenced to keep your cows in
around my house because everybody else had, you know, maybe livestock or something like that.
But, yeah, I did not.
He may have just been walking through, and I came out and stopped him right in the middle of his, you know, a morning walk.
Who knows?
You know, so, yeah, he could have been passing through to somebody else's yard, but why did he stay so close to me as what I couldn't figure out?
Yeah, it also makes you wonder how many other mornings has this scenario happened, and you just may not have even seen it there, right?
How many times has you watched?
Yeah.
leaving question myself because I had smelled that smell before.
Oh, dear. Yeah.
And I thought that it was, you know, the septic tank, you know.
I was like, wow, why is that septic tank smell so bad this morning, you know?
But, you know, and the leech lines were way away from the house, so it should never have smelt that bad.
But, you know, I always marked it off as, wow, that's a terrible smell.
Why is the septic making that funny smell?
Yeah, that wasn't it at all.
Yeah, now I know what was making that smell.
Absolutely.
Yeah, it smelled like death, death warmed over.
Yeah.
Well, Jane, I want to make sure that you were able to share everything that you had wanted to share on the show today.
Yeah, I think I've shared more than, you know, and all the questions that are in my mind.
about what it, you know, what it was and what, you know, why was it so close and all of that,
you know.
So, yeah, big foot's real.
And I'll raise my hand and say, yep, I seen him.
No doubt about it.
I seen them up close.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
No doubt about that.
Well, Jane, thank you for coming on the show and spending some time to share about what you
experienced that day.
and I hope you wish you the best as you continue to work through this,
but it sounds like you're in a better area.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, thanks, Jeremiah.
I appreciate you listening to my ramblings on.
No problem.
That's what I love to do that.
But yeah, feel free to reach out if you ever need any help or have any questions with anything.
All right.
It's Jeremiah.
Yes, ma'am.
Bye-bye.
Following as a conversation I recorded in a TikTok live a few days ago, that is very time-sensitive.
Hello, sir. How are you?
Yeah, I'm the artist formerly known as Alex.
Exactly. It's good to talk to you. Hey, do you mind if I use this audio for the podcast?
Not at all, sir.
All right. How are you doing? How are you doing, man?
Doing great, actually. And we actually had.
a daytime crossing which was seen by a police officer out on if you go on if you're
going up Main Street in Billings and you turn left at the bench Boulevard and you
go up it's about six and a half miles up this guy had a daytime crossing now I
did go out there and I did look around I didn't see any tracks or hair but the
ground out there was really dry when I went out there and it was but it was but
It was a really good sighting, and again, the guy was a police officer, so I have no reason to disbelieve him.
But, you know, it was just very interesting that the Bigfoot's out here in Montana are so crazy that they'll, like, run across in front of people during the daytime.
That's really bizarre.
That's near Billings, Montana.
How recent was that?
About two weeks ago.
Really?
Yeah.
okay so where where the siding was according to the gentleman
it I didn't see any houses
the one thing that was weird about it is I didn't see any trees either
you know what I mean there's no cover for it but there were trees
but they're about like a mile or two off but you know better than I do
how big foot's walk quickly and you know what their weird
compliant gate it looks like they're
cross-country skiing or something.
They can make big distances in short time.
But I did go out there.
I didn't see any hair on anything.
I didn't see any tracks.
But, you know, it is what it is.
But that's not the only thing that I've been hearing about.
On the Crow Res here in Montana,
there's been sightings of several
bigfoot or possibly big foot things.
And that's not just
it. I was going to ask you, I know you've said in the past that you will occasionally talk about
things that are not related to Bigfoot. Is that still the case or should we just avoid that?
No, I mean, feel free, if you've got other stuff to share, feel free to do that. Yeah.
I have a sighting from a gentleman and his wife and his son that were out of Flathead Lake
here in Montana. Okay. And they saw the Flathead Lake Monster,
called Flessey as an odd blockness monster.
They call it in the local dialogue or the local glocialsms.
They call it Flesi, but it's generally known as the Flathead Lake Monster.
They said it was about 20 to 25 feet long and they said it undulated like a snake or an
eel, but it was too big to be a snake, they thought.
And you know, the water's cold out there.
so I don't necessarily think snakes that do real well in that area.
But anyway, you know, it's, it was just, it was pretty crazy.
They saw it about 6 o'clock just a few days ago.
Oh, this is days ago?
Yes, sir.
About five and a half days ago.
They saw that it was visible on the water for almost like 15 or 20 seconds,
and then it dived under the water
but you could still see the B-shaped
weight from it
and again they said it was undulating
you know like an eel or a
snake is how they described it that they
said that they couldn't see the head
they could only see the body
and they said
it didn't have
a snake skin like a snake
they said it looked smoother
than a snake which made me wonder if maybe it was
an eel but according to what
I've researched they've been seeing this thing
around that area for over a century so there's a documented history with it from credible
witnesses oh wow and i found the people very believable now i haven't observed it myself but my wife
is actually going out there and i told her to keep an eye out for it and to take pictures if she sees
anything so she's going to be heading out there this saturday oh that's awesome yeah that that is
really really cool she's able to get to go out there uh that uh that that uh that that's
Billings one. So would that be around like July 21st, do you think? That'd be two weeks back,
right? Yes, sir. Okay. And probably, I'm guessing. So I tend to believe the gentleman.
He didn't see him to be yes or some he just said what needed to be said. He didn't, you know,
put a bunch of fluff in there or anything else. You know how cops are. No, absolutely.
Just the facts, you know, straight to business. Right. This is what I saw. I don't care.
how you feel about it.
This is what I saw.
It scared the crap out of me.
I will not even go back to that area.
Evidently what he saw, scared me.
Wow.
And this is the Buildings, Montana, police department, probably.
I would assume so.
I don't know.
He said he didn't want to say which law enforcement division he worked for
because he didn't want people to trace it back to him.
And he said he hasn't told him everybody about it at work.
So I can't really say.
what law enforcement services with.
Again, he didn't provide me that information.
Yeah, totally makes sense, yep.
I could not clarify the sighting because I didn't find anything.
I didn't find any tracks, footprints, hair, broken branches of trees
because there were no trees, and, you know, you'd have to walk quite a ways to get to the trees.
So there may have been footprints back there somewhere,
in the tree line, but I couldn't find any, and I couldn't find anything.
But, you know, it was very interesting.
So if you have listeners and billings, they need to keep an eye out when they go out to that area.
Oh, I would say so.
That road is, darn it.
But it's like you can take the right off Main Street and you'll go to Bench Boulevard,
or you can take a left and you can go up and it turns into like a little highway
and the speed goes up to 70 and you pass on the right side a
a storage unit company and then you go about six miles from that
and then you'll run into where it was and I don't know again you know I can't
I can't verify the sighting but I can tell you that I do believe the guy if
he if he's making it up he's he should be an accurate
in Hollywood.
Sure.
Wow.
That's incredible.
Well, Ray, it was great to talk to you again.
Thanks for coming up and for giving me some info about what's going on out there in Montana.
I appreciate it.
Just please ask your listeners to keep an eye out in Billings because if they happen to see a big foot
or get out of an ounce of picture or anything, that would be great.
We'll do.
We'll do.
All right.
Thank you.
Thank you, sir.

So huge thanks to Jane for opening up about that morning on Little Fall Creek and for reminding us that sometimes a danger in the forest isn't in what you hear.
