Going great. How are you? Hey, doing well. Feel free to share what you got going on, man.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Last month, I took a road trip up the Oregon coast, and I stopped in a little town called Gold Beach, Oregon, in southern Oregon. Yes. The Rogue River runs through there and empties out in the ocean. I would say around dusk, the date was January. probably end of November. It was at dusk and I was on this road called the Agnes Road that runs alongside the Rogue River, east and west. And the further east you take it, the further it goes into kind of wilderness.
Starting point is 00:02:17 And as I was driving, it was probably about 30 minutes from Gold Beach. And as I was driving back at dusk, I saw a figure walk across the road. and into the forest. And I thought maybe there's a house there. I thought it could be a person because it was certainly walking. And then I sped up and I was like, okay, maybe there's a house
Starting point is 00:02:43 or somebody's out getting the mail. Like, why is somebody walking on the road? And I get up and it's nothing but trees. So I don't know. I think I saw something. I was by myself. So I wish I had somebody to verify it, but I swore.
Starting point is 00:02:58 I saw something big, walk across the road and very possible it could have been some kind of creature because I was pretty far from town and it was a walking thing two-legged. So that was my experience and you know, so yeah, that's what I saw about a month ago. Wow, a month ago, that is fantastic. David, thank you so much. I've always wanted to, I don't get many citing reports from this area of Oregon. because everyone's like very tight lip down there for some reason and so it's extremely unique to hear i know gold beach has stuff going on and um the rogue river so thank you so much have you ever seen anything that comes close to the size of what you saw that day to be able to compare it to no no i spent a lot of time in nature and stuff but um no that was the first kind of abnormal sighting and
Starting point is 00:03:57 I do nature videos. If you go to my channel, I have a lot of great high quality. I have a Canon R10 with a Sigma 500 Miller lens. I'm out there doing nature stuff. And that really kind of shook me. When I got into town, I mentioned it to a couple of people, and they kind of laughed it off. But I didn't. I wish I had somebody there with me to be like, yeah, we saw something.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Because when you see it by yourself, sometimes you're like, did I just see that? Was that real? you know but you know I follow your page and I follow the stuff because I believe it I was in Olympic National Park last summer up in Washington and I swear I heard something and I even recorded it on my phone of these kind of like howls that I've never heard before and was pretty deep in Olympic so you know I think it's possible so yeah that's that's been my experience so far Wow. Can you share what part of the Olympics you were in when that you heard that? I was in the southern part of the park. There's a lake there that you can go into the southern interest, not by Port Angeles, but there's a southern entrance.
Starting point is 00:05:13 And I was just on a road going deep, and I pulled over to do a hike and take some pictures. And I just heard these like insane howls, unlike anything, you know, maybe like an elk, but I don't even think it was that because it was so powerful. You could hear it so far away that, yeah, it definitely got me, you know, researching the stuff and been into it for several years now. Was that Lake Quantal? Yes, correct. Okay. Yeah, I figured that would be a good guess.
Starting point is 00:05:49 I've taken a ton of reports from that lake, everything from like road, road. crossings, visuals, and people getting like telepathic messages in the same area, like a lot of really, really weird stuff in that. It's very, very active. So that's awesome, man. Very active. I want to go in back, if you have a few minutes, going back to the Oregon, citing, you know, being a photographer or, you know, someone who has a really good eye for detail, do you remember any specific things about what you saw as it as it crossed the road there no i i it was right beyond my headlight my tail lights so all like all i saw was like a shadow figure very quickly and very swiftly move across the the road and when i first saw it i thought man somebody out there checking the mail
Starting point is 00:06:46 like why is somebody on the road out here in the middle of nowhere and then when i i sped up and i got to this And when I got to where it was, it was just, you know, nothing but trees and it disappeared in the forest. So there's no way it could have been like a person. I mean, I don't know who would be out there like doing that, you know. It was on the Adnis Road on Rogue River. You can check it out. Awesome. Well, hey, man, I appreciate you coming up.
Starting point is 00:07:13 And that's a new area to put on the map. So thank you so much for sharing what you experienced that day. No problem. Thanks for having me on. Cool, Roy. How's it going? Okay. Good.
Starting point is 00:07:26 Well, I came back with my friends and my niece lives a little waste. And when I came inside, I looked out the window and I seen something over the cliff. Then I went outside and I told my wife, let's go see. What is it? My niece came over and she goes, did you guys see that? There's something over there with red eyes. Then I told my wife, yeah. see I'm not the only one that saw it.
Starting point is 00:07:55 So she called her uncle and myself. We went over there. She had a baseball bat and I had a summarize sword. And we both went over there and we saw it. And we got scared and we came back. Then four officers came. Navajo Nation police officer came. And they saw it too.
Starting point is 00:08:16 They came four times. And there was a female lieutenant. And she saw Bigfoot. She got scared. And I asked the other lieutenant, how come that female officer hasn't come back? She went to a different call. I said, no, she did it. She saw Bigfoot.
Starting point is 00:08:32 She got scared. And they said the only way they can shoot it was to lick the Fishing Game Warden shoot it. But the fishing game warden wasn't around. So the officer just parked right there. And we could have been, they could really do nothing. So when I fell down, my new shirt that I bought says Caterpillar. It's black and yellow. So in the morning when I went over there to go pick it up,
Starting point is 00:09:01 well, when I took it off, I smashed it like the newspaper, and I dropped it on the ground. The next day, I went away to go pick it up before I picked it up. I got my phone, and I took pictures all the way around before picking it up. And then I got my shirt, and then I looked at my phone at my pictures. I swear to God. When I seen the pictures that I took, I've seen a devil, horns, red eyes. And I showed my mom. And we got scared. And then I went to Medicine Man and that Medicine Man did a prayer for me. And he told me to delete the picture that I have on my phone. So that's what I did. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Wow. That's extremely intense, sir. So, yeah, I told my niece that she was seven years at that time, and she saw it. And when I seen it and know about maybe 10 feet away at me, my cousin saw it, and we just froze. And we got scared. We were just scared. And I can't, I didn't see anything like it. What year was this?
Starting point is 00:10:36 2010. Okay. And this happened, you said in the Navajo Nation? Yes. Do you mind sharing if it was in a certain area of the Navajo Nation? Um, by the San Juan River. I'm not overly familiar with the area. Is that by anywhere else?
Starting point is 00:11:05 Um, do you know where Farmington, New Mexico's at? Yes, I, uh, let me look real quick. Farmington, New Mexico. Oh, yeah, it's right on the, it's kind of, it's east of shiprock, right? Yes, 30 miles. Yeah. This way there's shiprock. Yep, I've gotten reports.
Starting point is 00:11:27 from Ship Rock, so not surprising at all. And yeah, okay, very cool, very cool. You were saying that fishing game have the ability to take one out if they need to. Yes, well, if it's in danger, you know, I mean, if they're danger into humans, well, that's what the national nation police police officer said, they could issue, they only the fishing game awarding. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:58 Okay. Gotcha. do you know if that's actually happened from what you know no okay they just have the ability to do so yeah wow wow wow wow there's so many stories from the navajo nation that are just incredible what what would you say if you can share what do you think is the most interesting account that you've heard over the years that has happened on the navajo nation um killing suburbia livestock like sheep just killing them not eating them taking their organs out of their body and breaking their neck and just leave them there yeah i i do i hear that a lot actually from different people
Starting point is 00:12:54 that that happens um uh yes i have heard that quite a bit i'm trying to think of specific areas I don't have specific areas. Maybe Cheska Mountains over the years. Yeah, there's some really interesting stuff that happens in that mountain range. Yeah, so. I appreciate you coming up, sir.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Thank you so much for sharing what you experienced back then. Okay, then. Appreciate it. Thank you. Hey, Melissa, how are you? I'm doing great. I'm doing great. Awesome.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Hey, real quick, want to make sure you're up to share. a big foot experience you had. Absolutely, absolutely. Basically, my encounter was very peaceful, and in fact, the two of them I had were very peaceful. One of them, we, me and my ex-husband, we were going, I believe, to pick up some bookcases or something in Oregon, and basically it was Fourth of July weekend, and I think just woken up. from a nap and I saw this big black shadow something cross the road by A12 and A7 I believe was the intersection and there was a big red pickup truck with something towed on the back and it goes about or something and it was down on all fours you know knuckling across the road and this big red truck was
Starting point is 00:14:39 coming toward I thought you know I sort of screamed that thing's going to get hit and my ex-husband's like what thing I said don't you see that shadow going across the road there I swear it was as big as a big foot scared me because I didn't want this thing getting hit you know I love animals I'm a big animal person so you know I'm like I don't want that thing getting hit you know luckily it crossed before it could get hit but you know it that part scared me. But the other one was really a very peaceful encounter. My ex-husband and I, we were in our pickup truck. We were going home from something, I believe, in Wyrka, California or something. I don't remember exactly where we were coming from. But we were at Mile Marker, I believe,
Starting point is 00:15:34 it was 180 or 183, we were between Happy Camp California and Fort Goff, California. I remember that very, very clearly. And again, I'd just, you know, woken up from a nap and all that. And I looked in my side review mirror, and there was this gorgeous, magnificent, beautiful Bigfoot creature, just strolling, just. just strolling, minding his own business, you know, right on the side of the road. I watched it. We kind of just nodded at each other, acknowledge each other's presence, and that was it.
Starting point is 00:16:16 It was very peaceful. No threat, no harm done to anyone. He was just strolling. And I remember I had this snapshot in my mind. I don't have an image, but I have a snapshot in my mind. I still see him to this day. He was about nine, nine and a half feet tall, short, reddish, orange. I don't know if you want to call this hair or fur.
Starting point is 00:16:44 He had, you know, washboard abs and all that. You know, just a regular dude just strolling on the side of the road and mind in his business. And I remember looking, I'm going, wow. He is absolutely beautiful. What a magnificent creature. That's extremely interesting. First, thank you for sharing. I've been trying to talk to someone about the Happy Camp area
Starting point is 00:17:20 for a few years now, because I know there's a lot of activity that happens in that area, correct? Yeah, absolutely. So would you say what you saw was completely covered with hair, were there areas of it that were not covered with hair um his chest and abs was skin and not hair okay do you remember what color yeah sort of a brownish orange color like reddish brown orange okay like a human would be a redhead i would consider him a redhead right gotcha you said the hair itself was reddish orange right yes okay um
Starting point is 00:18:07 Were you able to see any features about the face at all? Yeah, he was kind of half human, half ape. Kind of like what you have pictured as your background. Starting point is 00:20:45 Just peaceful. Okay. Just very, very peaceful. Just minding his business. Mm-hmm. Okay. Just strolling along, you know, the side of the road. And, you know, I just watched until he faded out of sight,
Starting point is 00:21:01 and I just went about my thing and that was that. How many seconds? would you say you actually had eyes on it um i want to say probably for a good two to three minutes okay that's a long time um so you've probably seen a lot of like drawings and art yes i've seen drawings and art is yes yeah is there anything that you wish artist would get right or that they always get wrong based on what you saw pretty much um pretty much um every thing is wrong. He's not
Starting point is 00:21:47 as big or bulky as what most would typically say that Bigfoot looks like. This one was kind of thin, kind of, oh, about medium to small build. Small to medium build.
Starting point is 00:22:10 Very thinner than probably I've seen most images of him. Sure. Have you heard of any other encounters happening in the Happy Camp area? No, but we had what I swear were baby bigfoots literally dropped off at where our trailer home at the time was in a park at Happy Camp. And they would just run literally. You could hear the footsteps.
Starting point is 00:22:45 They would just literally run across the top of our trailer. And, you know, I thought that was kind of cute because, you know, being an auntie and all that, you know, it just kind of, you know, if the Bigfoot moms feel safe dropping their babies off to play at my house, it's like, okay, cool. Yeah, absolutely. Is that the name of a trailer park then in Happy Camp? No. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of it. Okay, no problem. Also, I wanted to ask you. questions about the Oregon account where you had the shadowy figure. Oh, that was on the line between California and Oregon. Okay, so this is down...
Starting point is 00:23:33 A12? Probably... Highway A12? Highway A12. Okay. Is that by a certain town or is that like you're going down to Eureka through hill? Yeah, probably right around Hill, yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:52 Sorry, he's an I-5. So you take an I-5 down? Yeah, yeah, something like that. It was like right around Hill. Okay, interesting. Nearby. What years did this happen again? 23.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Okay, 2023 for both of them. All right, awesome. Well, I appreciate you coming up, and thank you for taking some time in your morning to go over what you saw over. Oh, you're very well. Welcome. Yeah, no. I, you know, I love Bigfoot. Hi there. How's it good? How are you doing?
Starting point is 00:24:24 Hey, you doing well. I have no problem with that. I'm actually a retired school teacher. And this is a very quick story. It doesn't nothing. And I was kind of on the fence about Bigfoot. I know I list myself as a Bigfoot, but I'm actually 6'8. So that's one reason I list myself as a big guy, Bigfoot. But I saw your podcast, man. This is pretty, well, you're here on TikTok, and I love it. I'm the first time I've ever seen it. But a quick story, we're coming home from a basketball game. Late night, my daughter had played college ball, and we're coming to our house.
Starting point is 00:24:57 Now, I'm located out of Corden, Indiana, okay? And we do have a forestry, probably 20 miles from us, pretty good size forestry. And believe it or not, we're driving down the road. I'm almost home, maybe two miles from home. And we actually see a big foot run in front of us. We look at each other, me and more. wife and thought, what was that? And it looked like a gorilla. It was very light brown, though, very light brown in color. The arms were very long. It almost drugged the ground. The arms did.
Starting point is 00:25:34 And I would say height-wise, it was probably maybe, I'm six-eight. I don't think it was quite six-eight, though. I don't think it was quite that tall. We just missed it. I mean, my wife had to hit the break and we just, just missed it. It ran across the road. And we were skeptical thinking, what did we see? Was that a big foot? Very hairy, extremely hairy. Anyways, I didn't think anything of it, let it go. Me and my wife still laugh about it to this day, but I was at school and I taught agriculture and natural resources. So I'm talking to my class, and one of the kids had said, well, a mill, they called me, Big Mill. We had, we saw a Bigfoot just the other day. We thought it was, ask one of the other kids.
Starting point is 00:26:24 And of course, I'm dealing with kids here. And I said, what? You actually thought you saw one? And I said, what day was that? And he had told me, and it was on the same day that me and my wife had saw it. So now I truly believe it was a Bigfoot, because one of the kids had said, ask, you know, ask Johnny. I can't remember the names. I've been out of school for 10 years now, retired. And he goes, really, really, we thought we saw one, believe it or not, and I said, where did you see it? And they told me, and it wasn't probably no more than two miles from my house. So I thought right then and there, unbelievable, unbelievable. It really actually was a big foot because me and my wife laughed thinking, what would this be
Starting point is 00:27:07 at 3 o'clock in the morning coming home late night? Because my daughter played college ball. So we're, you know, we had to travel somewhere, and it was late night. And we swore it was a big foot. We did. We thought, golly, we've never seen this before. But anyways, that's a quick story. And again, I'm on the fence with it, but we did see it.
Starting point is 00:27:26 And it sure, it ran across big feet. The feet were huge on it. The arms were huge. And like I said, when it ran across the road, it looked more like a large gorilla run across the road. And my wife barely missed it. It did not look at us. It did not turn its head to look at us.
Starting point is 00:27:44 but move fairly fast. I will say that very quick. But anyways, that's my story. And I thought I would tell it and let you know. It's a pretty neat podcast you got here or whatever this is. And I'm going to start following you. But again, I'm on the fence with it, but it is true. I don't know why cameras haven't caught them before,
Starting point is 00:28:06 but it ran right out in front of us. True story. So I just want to make sure. So that area, I've taken. so many reports from southern Indiana. Have you? Have you? Yeah, you can, if you go to, if you go to Bigfoot Society podcast.com, I have a
Starting point is 00:28:23 siting map there and you can see them all. Okay. And you're going to just be blown away. So what, can, do you know the specific date this happened? I do not. It had to be around 2007, 2008. It's been years ago. Again, I've always been on the fence about it, but I've always been interested in
Starting point is 00:28:44 Bigfoot because me and my wife saw it. So, plain as day. What time a year again? It would have been wintertime. It would have been winter because she'd played basketball, so it would have been wintertime. I want to say, and I'm guessing at this, but I want to say like January, February and that time of year. But we still laugh about it to this day.
Starting point is 00:29:11 We really do. But I will check that out. I didn't realize there was that many in Southern Indiana. I really didn't. And again, I'm convinced because the kid had told me, he said, no, Big Mill, really. We saw a Bigfoot. We all scared to death. I mean, it scared us to death.
Starting point is 00:29:27 We saw it. And I ended up asking the other student, did you see it? He said, yeah, we really did. We thought it was a Bigfoot. We really did. Everybody was laughing about it. But true story. It is true story.
Starting point is 00:29:40 Crazy, I know. but I believe you that as I said southern Indiana is down by the Ohio river it gets really wild that's what we're at we're not probably 20 miles from the river I did not know that I'm glad you told me that and educated me on that I had no clue absolutely hey I appreciate you coming up and sharing that I'm going to start following you I enjoyed that that was interesting thank you Hey, how's it going? Hey, pretty good. Feel free to share what you've experienced.
Starting point is 00:30:15 So the story that I'm going to share with you is not my personal experience. It's my mother's. And her story has always been consistent. And she doesn't share it a lot because she doesn't want to be viewed as a person who is kind of a is kind of crazy or anything like that, because she's in her 80s. But this actually happened back in the early 90s when at one point she lived in Reno.
Starting point is 00:30:51 And her and my dad and my brothers, they used to go up into the hills up in Chilacute. And they used to go and cut down snags and get firewood. And so back, in the early 90s, she knew nothing about Bigfoot. She knew nothing about what these creatures were, nothing. She never heard about the stories, nothing.
Starting point is 00:31:19 So during a trip one afternoon, and it was during the fall season, they went and took a trip, and up in the hills to get some firewood. They got their permits from the forestry departments, and they went deep into the hills, But there were still some homes and piles of wood. And while my dad and my brothers were going and getting their wood,
Starting point is 00:31:48 she stayed in the truck just reading a book. And unknowingly, probably about a good maybe 30, 40 feet in front of the pickup, where she was inside, she noticed this creature in front of the pickup. And it was squatted down. And when she looked up at it, she said that it was close enough to where she could see that the wind was blowing its hair.
Starting point is 00:32:29 It was orange. It looked like a female because the belly, she could see the belly it was very large in fact she said that it almost looked like it was pregnant behind the creature they were just staring at each other they stared at each other she said for about a good five 10 minutes because she couldn't wrap her brain around what she was looking at she was in shock what she was trying to determine what she was looking at but behind in this other creature, there was a wood pile that was kind of tall enough and she could see another creature kind of pacing behind the wood pile and it was black.
Starting point is 00:33:15 All she could see was just the kind of the top of the head, but it was nervously walking back and forth as though it was trying to capture the attention of the creature that was in front of the truck. And so my mom was just sitting there and just kind of staring at it for a moment. And when she realized that there were two of them, she then started getting really nervous and she got scared. She started honking the horn of the truck to get my dad and my brother's attentions. And when they came to the truck, or prior to my brothers coming to the truck, the creature that was in front of the pickup stood up. And she said it was probably a good maybe eight foot. It was, she says it was a beautiful creature.
Starting point is 00:34:18 She says it was very clean. She said she could see the fur or the hair just kind of glistening and kind of. It was a little bit of, there was a little bit of wind. Starting point is 00:36:33 This is a job for Indeed's sponsored jobs. So you could see the hair just kind of flowing in the wind. It was long hair. It was fully covered, so there was no skin showing. But it was definitely, she says when it stood up, it definitely looked like a female, look definitely looked like it was pregnant. Then from a distance she could see my brothers and my father running from a distance because then she started to scream because then she became concerned
Starting point is 00:37:07 that the two would turn on my brothers and my dad. But then they ran away. The two creatures eventually ran away. She didn't really see where they ran she assumed that they ran into the the stand of trees where they were at but she said that the encounter lasted she said she lasted for about a good maybe 10 15 minutes she says that to this day to this day she still sees them in her mind my mom's a she's a beautiful artist and so So she has drawn pictures of this creature that she has actually seen. And she has actually drawn pictures of it.
Starting point is 00:38:10 And it's very similar to what other pictures have been in or what we have seen. But where I live, we have a Bigfoot Museum. Bigfoot Museum up in the hills where we live and so she's had some communications with I've taken her to that museum and she's done her research and because again like I said she never knew about Bigfoot when she first encountered this so you know over the years she's done a little bit of research and she learned of course what Bigfoot was and and all the stories and apparently the video and this historic video that took place back in the 70s and all of that. So, but she's pretty adamant that Bigfoot exists and she's talked to several people in her area that that particular area,
Starting point is 00:39:12 there has been sightings of Bigfoot in that area, in the Chilacute Mountains up in that area. area. So I just think it's very fascinating. That is an absolutely wild story. Thank you for sharing your mother's story. So you said it's called the Chilacute Mountains? Yeah, up in Chilacut, up where, up on the borderline, it's kind of like up in the borderline of Nevada and California. Okay. Reno, Susanville, up in that northern. up in the northern area.
Starting point is 00:39:57 And this was up towards, I would say probably, when she first told the story, it was like in the early 90s. This was before I got married. So I got married in the early 90s. So it was shortly before that time period. And they were always going up in the hills up in that area. So I just want to make sure I have the right area.
Starting point is 00:40:21 Is this, are we talking like it's? So you said it's by Reno, is it like where Verdi crosses over? Yes. Or is it up by where Cold Springs? It's all, Cold Springs is more, Cold Springs is more south. So if you go up more north, up towards like, it's not quite towards Susanville, but it's definitely, it's off the Highway 80 up more north. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:40:58 I got it. Yeah. I totally got it now. Okay. So yeah, yeah, that area, yep, I've talked to people around Lassad National Forest. There you go. Yeah. Yeah, so I'm in the right area now. And then that's just north of Plumis as well. Yeah. That's pretty crazy. All right. That makes total sense. Wow. What's the name of the museum that you guys went to? So it's actually the Bigfoot Museum. It's up in the Felton, up in Felton. Up in Felton. out near Santa Cruz. Yep. So that one, unfortunately, is no longer operating. Mike Rod got to the point where he can't do it. He's just too old now, which is unfortunate. But that's cool, so you're able to talk to Mike about what happened. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:45 We were there. We were there. It's been maybe three years ago. Maybe two or three years ago. Yeah. But she had a real fascinating conversation with the older guy. there. You know, I had to buy her her t-shirt there. But yeah, they had some really fascinating artifacts in there and so forth like that. So, yeah, she enjoyed her conversation there. But again,
Starting point is 00:42:13 you know, she doesn't talk about it very much about her encounters because she doesn't want people to think that, you know, she's a little out there, you know. But my mom, for an 80-year-old she's very intellectual and very cognizant of what is going on. But for those of us that she does talk to, her story has always been very consistent, has never changed, and so forth like that. So I do feel that there is validity to her story, and it's always just fascinating to hear her tell it. That's wild. So if, man, if she ever, I mean, I know she's, she's up towards 80s, but I would love to talk to her one day if she ever wants to have it recorded for, you know, so it's there for you guys for the future.
Starting point is 00:43:13 Sure. Even, you know, it's an open invitation. You can send me an email at bigfoot society at gmail.com, but I mean, what a, what a fascinating story. like I've never heard anyone that has had a sighting like that. Yeah. That's wild. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:30 Well, I'm following your page now. I've never really been a big foot, you know, person. But the stories are fascinating. You know, I do find it very fascinating. And, you know, it's, you never know what's going on in the wilderness and so forth like that. So absolutely yeah good stuff thank you for for coming up yeah thank you hey how are you doing leviticus good to see you here so um i'm a preference just by saying uh so i grew up on the river um you know we hunted the river and everything quite a bit as i was when i was
Starting point is 00:44:16 young and also i mean i know i know what things sound like basically and um So we were, it was me, my father and a couple of our friends, we were kayaking down the stretch of the river. We put in, and it was 1 o'clock at night. That's when we first put in. And so we put in and all, and we were just chatting, messing around. And my buddy, we call them, I call him an uncle, but, uh, he was. He lets off a little hoot like a, like what they did on finding Bigfoot or whatever. We're just messing around, you know, talking up, you know.
Starting point is 00:45:07 You might want to calm down. Bigfoot's going to come and get you, you know, just, just cutting it. But, and then, you know, after a while, we're still sitting there and we start on our way. We hear a big splash in the water. And it sounded odd, but it sounded like a rock, like a rock. big riking the water. And then, you know, and we read it, we rewrote it off as a beaver's tail splashing the water. Even though it didn't sound like it, we just kind of, that's what we tried writing it off as, right?
Starting point is 00:45:44 And then so, well, we, we, as we were paddling down and as we kept, you know, paddling, it the rocks just kept coming so and it's like these weren't just you know small rocks being grown these are decent size rocks to make a good size um stud when it hits the water and um on the side of the river that it was coming from it's it's known to be really thick uh there's no trails or anything cut on that side of the river and um even if someone was through there, you'd be, you know, they couldn't get through it with a flashlight. And there was no flashlights, nothing that were the, that were on that side or anywhere around us. And like I said, it's, I mean, it's pitch black. It's one o'clock in the morning.
Starting point is 00:46:39 So, I mean, you'd see a flashlight if it was, you know. And, uh, but yeah, so, um, they followed us with the rocks and all the way down. And there's quite a few creeks. that's uh that's down through there and creeks and slews and all and i think the widest one would be 20 25 foot you know i mean not nothing nothing that'd be easy to get across and uh but we didn't hear anything across them um and it you know it kept following us no it went on for about eight to 10 miles and it was i mean we're in the river kayaking and and you You know, it kept up with us.
Starting point is 00:47:22 And like I said, being on the river growing up, you get used to hearing things, and you can kind of pinpoint what it is. And that's the only thing we could say it was, was rocks. And, I mean, my uncle, he shined the riverbank, and there was, you know, you didn't see anything. You didn't see anything walking down the river bank or nothing. So it was kind of like the rocks were being thrown from the woods. And at some places, there's about a.
Starting point is 00:47:50 20, 25 foot gap from the woods to the bank of the river. But yeah, it just kept falling. It's about 10 miles. And, you know, I mean, we're moving just about on this water. Because, I mean, I don't know if you've ever been in kayaking or whatever. But, you know, once you get going downstream, you kind of pick up a little bit of speed, even if you're just sitting there floating. But, yeah, it kept up with us pretty easy.
Starting point is 00:48:17 Can you share what area this is in? What's up, Charlie? That's one of my uncles. But, yeah. So, we're right on the Alabama-Georgia line in West Point. Okay. And so I got, I mean, I got some badies with some stories that are, you know, relatively the same background, spend a lot of time in the woods and all.
Starting point is 00:48:41 Now, he's seen whatever it was. He was coming around dust dark, and he was in a tree stand. And something started messing up. with him but the only other time I had an incident that I was like I couldn't you know place on what it was was I was driving down the road at night and uh about I say 10 miles from 10 15 miles from the initial spot and it now granted that was when I was the river incident happened when I was uh I'd say around 13 until this next incident happened when I was 17 17 18 I went all right um I was driving down the road in like pitch
Starting point is 00:49:29 black you know and um I'm the only road I mean I'm only one on the road and uh I come across I mean it's big big figure off into the ditch and I there it's known for having people are known for riding their horses down this stretch of road so that's what I kind of rode it off I mean, this is a big old black figure, and I catch a glimpse of it. I mean, it's, I say a glimpse. It was probably about a five-second, you know, a glimpse. And I look, and I wonder, I'm like, why would anybody be riding the horse at this time of night?
Starting point is 00:50:08 You know, and I didn't see any lights or anything, so I kind of swooped around. Went back through. Didn't see anything. So, I mean, that was the only other time that it's like. that sticks out to me. That, you know, big figures now. I've seen some eyes, but kind of write those off as owls or something. Absolutely.
