All right, Pickfoot Society,
you've got the privilege of talking to Stephen today.
Stephen's a listener that reached out to me through voicemail, which you can find the link for that down in the show notes for the episode if you want to leave a voicemail as well, which is always fun to get.
And he's wanting to share a few things that have happened over the years.
So Stephen, welcome to the show. How are you doing, sir?
Very good, Jeremiah. I appreciate you calling me.
Absolutely.
Call me back.
You know, we were talking for a few minutes before this.
And, I mean, we are going back to the 70s.
So there's a lot of things to share and want to make sure that you have the time to share it.
So I'm going to go ahead and pass things right over to you.
Feel free to take us back when you first started getting into this whole Bigfoot thing to begin with, Stephen.
Okay.
I'm about almost 72 now.
And back in 1968, I was 15 years old, and my dad took me and my friend in Woodman Valley,
we were to Colorado Springs area, took us down to the city auditorium,
and we watched the Patterson Gimlin film.
I don't know what the thing was called them,
but everybody refers to it as a Patterson Gimlin film now.
And that was in 68, I guess it was a year after the film.
the film came out and man it was that to me that was such a real realistic film I
know man there is no way this is fake this is way too this is way too real to be faked I
don't think anybody could put it acting and everything else that goes with this just way
too realistic I totally believe this all the way you know so that was my first uh I guess
I was hooked from that I was very into you know
Bigfoot and I had no idea I was going to have my own experiences and four years later in
in 1972 as far as I can figure as we're just out of high school a friend of mine
from high school just a couple of stupid punch you know and we I had I had some
say though let's go find a place to plant some seeds by the end of the summer that we
We wanted to have some free plants, you know.
So we went to the back of the valley I lived in,
Woodman Valley, the foot hills of Colorado Springs,
the straight just south of the Air Force Academy property.
And there was a convent up there.
That was the only thing up there.
They got a bunch of houses up there now.
But back then, the convent was the only thing up
at the very back of the foothills there.
So we parked this car.
on a dirt road just up from the convent.
We walked up a creek bed.
And we were just scouting out the place for a nice damp place where we might throw a few seeds down, you know.
And we didn't get in there more than one or two minutes, and there was a muddy area next to the creek bed.
And we only up, we only made it up about 50 years, 100 feet in.
Lo and behold, there was, we both saw them about the same time.
I counted them, and I still remember the number.
I counted 10 big foot tracks.
And, man, we were checking these big foot tracks out.
We couldn't believe it, you know, and I put my foot down there bigger than my foot
easily.
And I don't remember exactly how more longer they were, exactly how wider they were,
but they were bigger than my foot.
I have a size 12 foot.
They are bigger than my feet were, and they're bare feet.
They're 10 toes, bare feet, and way bigger than my feet were.
And we weren't there for, let's look at the footprints mainly for the first three or four minutes.
We were talking.
And I guess something else.
up the foothills just above us about three or four hundred feet into the woods.
The tree line area, I guess, probably heard us talking and it let out this thing,
let out the loudest high-pitched shriek.
That's the only way I can describe.
That was the words I put together back then.
I'm going to describe this shriek to people or this noise to people.
What's the words that fit it the best in the best?
word-wise, I could come up with high-pitched
shriek, and it lasted probably four or five
seconds, and it's super loud. And to me, it sounded
very threatening, you know, and I thought, I told
James, I said, that is what just made
these tracks. That was a big clip we just heard.
And she said, yeah, something like, yeah.
and I believe we were made prompt to exit out of there.
You know, it was pretty bizarre.
And I never heard anything like that in my life ever.
And it was super loud and I can't even duplicate it.
It was a high, it was called, it just turned as a high pitch streak
for it lasts about four or five seconds.
And it sounded like it was a man.
It sounded like as mad for us being in the neighborhood, like, get out of here, you know, get out of my neighborhood.
And so we got in his car and left, and we never went back up there again.
In 1987, I moved out to Missouri then, in 83, I moved out to Missouri.
And in 87, I met a girl.
Her name was Kathy.
We were on my motorcycle.
We were cruising around the winery country.
Between Augusta, Missouri and Defiance, Missouri, there's a bunch of wineries and stuff,
and we were about midway through there.
And midway through between Augusta and Defiance, the Missouri River gets real close to the Highway 94.
And I thought, well, let's get off.
Let's just park the motorcycle on the shoulder.
I told her all just all we got to do is walk over this levee.
And the Missouri River is right there.
And okay, let's walk.
So we parked the bike and walked over the levee.
We were down there probably 10 minutes.
After a while, I got separated from Murph by 10 or 20 feet.
And she says, all of a sudden she says, big foot tracks.
and I say
Yeah, right
Because I was a believer
But I thought the odds
They were actually seeing
If big foot tracks are probably slim
So I said, yeah right
She said, no, come here, look
And okay, so I went over there
And sure enough
I saw three
Three big foot tracks
And these weren't
Like the tracks I saw the tracks I saw
in Colorado at the base of the mountains.
They were five-toed in there.
These tracks were four-toed.
They had three small toes, and a big toe jotted out to, I'd say, about a 70-degree angle to the left.
Well, I remember looking distinctly at the right foot.
I remember three tracks.
I can't remember if they were left and rights, but I do remember there were three of them.
And I do remember distinctly the right foot I was looking at and analyzing.
I'm, man, I've got to analyze these things the best I can so I can describe them.
So we didn't have a camera or anything like that.
This was back in 87, you know.
Had nothing to take pictures of it.
I'm like, God, the best I can do is just scrutinize these things the best I can
so I can describe them the best I can.
And I put my foot down next to the right foot.
And I had a size 12 motorcycle boot on, and it was like two.
inches longer than my boot and around two inches wider than my boot and and there was four toes
at three small toes and they're like I said in the big toe jetted off to the side almost a 90-degree
angle I say about a 70-degree angle to the side I think chimpanzees and eight speeds are similar to that aren't they
I think they are correct but and so that was yeah it was shaped I guess like a chimpanzee
pain through eight foot because that toe jet it off to the side very distinctly.
It made your angle off to the little side.
And so, man, we screwed nice.
I think and talked, we got to show this as somebody.
We can't be the only two people who see this.
You know, we'd have to go to somebody's house to make a phone call or, you know, we don't
know anybody.
out here we have to we'd have to go to borrow somebody's phone who would even call
those sheriff uh college you know even call and it's getting plus it's getting started to get
dusk out i had a half hour drive to take her back to her house in londell londell
about 30 miles south and uh we're gonna have to go for you so we're gonna have to go for
so we're we're gonna see this and they're right next to the
right next to the water line.
You know,
these things will probably be gone by tomorrow.
And I live 30 miles from here
the other direction from her house.
So we just decide, well,
I guess we're the only ones
are going to be able to see this.
So we had to leave and I had to take her home.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Right now that,
there's a Labby Power Plant
just up for over about
two to three miles
I'd say about two miles up
wherever there's a Lobody
town called Labity
and there's a power plant right there
and just recently last summer
I heard
I heard on
I think some Bigfoot channel
that some fishermen
that were fishing at the Labity
power plant saw Bigfoot, saw Bigfoot.
A big foot, Bigfoot site is reported by a fisherman,
the lab, it's fishing by the Labity Power Plant.
I thought, man, that's only two miles up river from where I saw
on the other side of the river, where I saw these bigfoot tracks
back in 87. This was just, last year they saw some,
the fishermen sell some bigfoot tracks by the Lavity Power Plant,
just like two miles up river.
miles up over, cross the river from tracks in 87.
So they're still, they're still in that area.
And they've got a big, uh, fact, where I saw those three tracks, they, they put it now
put a boat ramp in there and they got a Klondike.
They've got a big park they made it in that same area called a Klondike, Klondike park,
state park or something rather.
It's a pretty neat park.
And I drove through there once or twice on a motorist.
cycle.
But yeah, there was nothing there when my girlfriend and I saw these prints.
There was just nothing, but some farmers dirt road that went along the river back to his
field, I think it was the only thing that was there.
But they still have some sightings in that same area.
There's lots of sightings next to the Missouri River.
I've got some more things to tell you coming up on.
the Missouri River farther up by where I live.
But let's see, from that point, at that time I was living, let's see, that's 1990.
No, it's not there yet.
1990.
Okay, that's before I moved down to Robert Schild.
1990, I was still living in St. Charles area, and I started dating a girl named Donna.
And we were, we were, we took a ride on the same area, it's Highway 94.
And this is, and we went to a, it was Weldon Spring Conservation Area.
We took the motorcycle into, but came in from the top.
It's a part of their down, they got a parking lot that's kind of material up to the top.
but I came in from a different area.
And it's called Weldon Spring Conservation Area.
And anyhow, we came upon a dead deer next to the trail, at the top of the trail.
And we shut the bike off and got off and stretched her legs and looked at this deer.
and I was looking for a gunshot wound.
I don't see your blood anymore.

deliciously popped, perfectly salted.
Skinny Pop, popular for a reason.
Must be on the other side.
But I think back on it,
and I was thinking at that time,
some hunter must have got it.
Well, I'm thinking back, this is in the middle of,
this isn't the middle of summer.
There wasn't even hunting season in.
And I saw no blood on it.
And all I could tell you is,
while we were standing there looking at,
I had got the most feeling of gloom and doom, you know, it was what I termed.
But I've heard other people talk about a feeling of dread.
And that's it.
Those words are perfect.
They absolutely felt the way I was feeling, describe the way I was feeling when I was standing there.
It was a dark area, kind of a dark shade by all the trees.
and I don't think there was a sound in the woods except for some gunshots you can hear a firing range about a mile or two away.
And other than that, there was just not a sound.
And I just got a feeling of something I'm standing with something very bad around me.
And something, I felt that's feeling of danger.
There's danger around me.
And I didn't say anything to my girlfriend.
and I wish I would have
because I
would have felt
this felt the same way
and I think we left in about
within the next five minutes
I think
it was at the end of the day
towards the end of the day
I don't know where we went after that
but we left there and I don't
remember what we did after that but
didn't see anything
but I didn't smell anything
but I had an awful
feeling
around me
that
That was a very unsettling feeling that came over me, standing there looking at that deer.
Now I look back on it, you know, since there's no blood or nothing, I didn't scrutinize the structure well.
It wasn't any flies on it.
It looked like a fresh kill.
It wasn't any flies and smell.
It looked like it's freshly killed.
I thought, well, maybe, and I hear about nowadays about, you know, Bigfoot breaking deer's necks.
Maybe it was just, just had his neck broken and we came upon, you know, as soon after it happened,
and the big foot went inside the trees 50 feet while we were standing there looking at it.
You know, maybe that's a big, scary feeling I was getting while standing there.
Now, between 1996 and 2005, I moved down to 1996, I moved to, Colorado Robertsville.
I had a lot of weird things happened, but I didn't.
Back then, I didn't relate him to Bigfoot stuff.
Maybe I thought about a little bit, but I heard all kinds of things at nighttime.
I had my window open, just a screen at nighttime.
And then I'd hear all kind of stuff, especially mainly, you know, tree frogs and the cage did
and stuff like that, just a riot of noise.
And sometimes I'd hear what people refer to now as a group.
And I thought, what is that noise?
Is that all making that noise?
I hear it a lot at nighttime.
And I can pretty much imitate it.
And it always was in a three, and the people call moose now.
That's pretty much what it sounded like.
It sounded like, whoop, whoop, whoop, just like that, three of them.
Every time I do three of them.
And it would be loud.
It would be across the street where a pond is, by where the cattle drank out of.
And got across the street had a bunch of cattle.
And there's a fenced in area, barbar fence.
And there are ponds.
He had two big ponds over there.
and the big lake behind me,
there was all kinds of water around me.
And it's only about one and a half miles from the Meramec,
Meramec River,
which is I hear a lot of,
a lot of sightings down there.
And in fact,
Robertsville State Park,
just five miles north of me off the highway in and Highway O.
And also recently last year,
I had one siting down in Lonell,
the other side of three miles south.
of me where I lived there. So I was smack that dab between
as I saw it five miles north of me by people and three miles south of me in
Rondell where she lived. And also besides those whoops I'd
here at night, during the day I'd be on my yard and I would, I hear a big whack on the
tree or something like somebody just hit a tree.
once.
You know, I don't know if it was an axe or what they were doing.
I thought, let that make much sense.
You would think if somebody's working on it,
something in the woods or doing something,
they'd hit more than one time.
What sense is somebody just whacking something once?
You'd think, you know, I've never heard,
somebody just when they're working in a yard, whatever,
just if you're one whack, that's it.
and I thought that's odd
who heck would hit something once and that's it
I heard that like three or four different times
or three or different occasions
and I thought it was strange
but I never really dwell on it
until recently
you know on some of the Bigfoot networks
like yours I hear people talking about
you know the tree
tree knocks and stuff like that
I thought well that's probably what I was hearing
back then. I didn't even think about
it. I had to have anything to leave with Bigfoot.
There's not even a house in that area.
This is just woods out there.
Some of us were walking through the woods and
doing something
in the woods. I don't know. We're just to hit
something once.
And I thought, there's just somebody doing
that, you know.
Didn't even relate it to Bigfoot
back then, but I think about it, you know,
after just in the last
few years, I've been, well, that's what I
was here in the woods. And I was
I thought it was somebody doing, who knows what, just hitting something once.
It was probably a tree knock, a big foot tree knock.
Sometimes there'd be a ton of coyotes out there make a big ruckus.
And I do believe I hear some of those whoops about the same time,
and I hear a bunch of coyotes just creating, God, sound like five or ten of them,
and sounded like some of them might have been in a fight or something.
But a huge coyote ruckus out there.
out in the same woods. I never saw in the daytime, but I hear them at nighttime.
And I heard a big, you know, a bunch of coyote, big ruckus at nighttime, several times,
in the woods just north of me. After that, I moved to, well, actually, I moved back
briefly in 2005 to 2011 to take care of my parents. They're getting older,
to help, I had to go back, help take care of it.
And in 2011, I came back,
while I was there six years,
let's see, in 2005 to 2011,
six years,
had no, you know,
no big foot experiences.
I did take,
did go take, my dad dropped me off with my bicycle
and went down the trail
out of the mountains, down to the river and stuff,
and had no experiences,
no experiences, man.
and moved back to Missouri in 2011, moved to Herman.
Very nice, very nice town.
I lived there for 11 years until 2022.
I had no experiences in Herman.
So I was surprised about that.
I had woods behind me, but there were the Missouri rivers over the top of the hill.
and down about a mile north of me so i think any kind of activity might have been something down there
but they didn't really make it crossed the other side right now i lived right next to a busy
highway 100 there so no experience is there and i moved to move to marthesville or the now
And in
2003, I
rented, I thought, well,
there was a Katie Trail real close to me.
And three miles up the trail,
they got a place where you can rent electric bikes.
And I'd be cool.
Let me go to rent electric bike and I can go up and down the Katie Trail.
I've never been on the Katie Trail.
So I ran electric bike and came down to, went back about three miles to Martha'sville, close to where I live, and then turned around, went back, went back past the, past the electric bike when I was in an old town called Pears.
Pears where I rented the bike.
and then went westbound
westbound I'd say another
five to seven miles
you get to a town called tree lore
then three miles west of tree lower up
you come to right where
right where the Missouri River
comes super close to Highway 94
is right there where the
where the Katie Trail
crosses Highway 94
and that's where I
I thought well let me
go while I'm here let me go
across
250 feet
across the street and
look at the river for 15 minutes
so I
went across the river to stand
there for 15 minutes just
looking beautiful river flow
is really pretty a little spot
that have broken down boat ramp
that's not used anymore
fact they got a chain there I don't know I've never seen anybody put in there it's
pretty steep and pretty bad boat ramps and so nobody really puts in there
maybe occasionally so I after about 15 minutes okay let's let's cross the
street get on the Cady Trail go back down I got to get I got it just back by
two hours I got about 20 minutes left
and we can turn around and go back.
And so I got back on the Cady Trail,
but I just came up 15 months earlier.
And I was down on the C80 Trail about 150 feet to 200 feet.
And I came, gosh, came into the most putrid smell.
it smelled like
something dead
feces
lots of other things
thrown in there maybe some pond water
scum it was just a rank
mixture of smells that I've never smelled before
and man
alive I came through here 15 minutes ago
and there was nothing here
scent-wise
and now 15 minutes later it is
it is strong here
I thought
I immediately
I immediately knew what it had to be
I never smelling like that before
I had to be there has been a big foot
probably saw me
come up the trail on the bike
he's just watching the trail
because people ride on it
he's up in the bluffs here looking down
he saw me come and walked
to the river and he's probably just curious
and he came down got close to
close to the Katie Trail
has been probably watching me the whole
time and now
he saw me coming back
and he just went into the woods
of 20, 30 feet
is so dense you couldn't
you couldn't hardly see anything
if he looked in 20 or 30 feet
and his scent is still
strong right here
that's what I was smelling. He probably came down
and was watching me for the last 15 minutes
and now I'm coming back in
the stink on the way back out.
And I knew right away what it was.
I knew right away.
It just instinct of that I knew what it was.
That's a stinky big putt that's been watching me the whole time.
I just came down.
And I thought, you want to stop and turn around and see what you can see him by then?
Use your brain.
Keep on going.
Or they might find you in pieces, you know.
So I just kept on going.
on and
it would have been nice seeing
but I like to see him
from a distance
you know
not close up
I was by myself
you know
I felt
I felt like I was in danger
if I
you know
try to find
find him
and see him
I thought that's
so I just
I just kept on going
you know
use your brain
keep on going
and
never saw one
though
never saw him
but I believe
that's what it was
so
returned
I think that's all I can remember for
2023 and then
2004 last summer
I had all kinds of things
happened in my yard
um
gosh
I had screams
screams
it's almost sounded like a woman being
murdered or something
And it sounds like a woman screaming in the woods to the west of me.
And in fact, in one time I heard it sound like something being killed right by my back window.
I hear lots of stuff right by my back window.
Unfortunately, I don't have any lights on that side.
I can't even see if I looked at my window if there's anything.
Bigfoot Society will be right back.

One time I heard, it sounded like somebody being killed, some animal being murdered,
it sounded like his last 10 seconds of life, it sounded like he ripped apart.
And lo and behold, there just happened to be a cop sitting watching traffic, a 10th of a mile from me in 30 seconds.
He goes pulling, it comes pulling into my driveway and gets out of his car.
And he heard the whole thing too.
And he was out, pulled his flashlight.
I come walking up my driveway, shine all over my yard.
and he shined all over my yard and stuff for a few minutes
and five minutes after he got there a second sheriff car pulled in next to his
and he walked down and they talked to each other for 10 minutes
and nothing nothing no other noise they talked for 10 minutes
and finally both of them left at the same time.
I went out the next morning
to see if I could find any fur or hair or anything,
any kind of evidence of a struggle or anything like that.
I found nothing.
I don't know if it grabbed something and carried it off
or what.
I don't know what he even had unless possibly, you know,
I thought I was a big foot that might have carried a deer off or something.
I don't know what it was killing.
And I've heard, I've heard a whistle once.
And it was, you know, it sounded perfectly like a bird whistle,
but it happened like four in the morning.
And I thought, man, birds don't whistle.
until the sun starts coming up.
This is like two hours before the sun starts come up,
and it sounds just like this.
It's three times this one, too.
It's not, you know, besides the boops, I used to hear three.
I heard the whistle three.
I try to whistle now and wet and whistle.
Hopefully, you're like the whistle pretty good.
Let me see if I can do it.
It sounds just like this.
Yeah, I didn't.
They try again.
Just like that.
I pictured the sound that you did in my head before you did it,
because it's the same exact one we would hear out in Oregon this summer when they were doing mimicry.
That's wild man.
Wow, really?
Oh, yeah, dude.
Wow.
Wow.
Yeah, that's what I thought.
I said this was way too early for a birdie doing this, and it's right by my back window.
They did all the stuff on my back window.
They knew that was where I slept.
They could see the light go on every now and then at nighttime, and the last night.
the last light they see go out of my bedroom and it's dark on that side too and they'd always be by my bedroom
oh yeah yeah the last one was really phenomenal uh man alive um i got woke up about 3.30 in the morning
and it happened to 4 30 also 3.30 in the morning one night it was so loud as a sudden a
Something big went by my back window wheezing.
I mean wheezing.
It sounded horrible like,
every time it inhaled.
Just like that, you know, just wheezing like that.
I could hear it coming about 30 seconds at a lower pitch.
You know, and then they'd get louder and louder.
You know, it got to my bedroom in and it was loud wheezing.
And then it kept walking and it disappeared after about 30 seconds, you know,
as it got, you know, 100 feet away from me.
And I looked at my clock.
It was like 3.30 in the morning.
And then I think I was probably still awake from that.
At 4.30 morning, it came back from the other direction, you know,
you know, like that, just wheezing.
You could hear it coming and it got.
louder and louder and got right by next but by my back window again and
and then it started getting quieter and quieter and quieter about 30
seconds later disappeared as it walked you know walked off and that was pretty
pretty amazing too pretty bizarre I got let's see let me see oh I can back a
I got a couple little notes I put on the
back here I forgot to mention while I was living back in Colorado Springs in
between 2005 2011 to help my parents out I had another motorcycle there and I went
back to look at the exact area where this where I heard some of these footprints
and once you find find this exact same valley creek bed that you that I went in
and man this place
boy this place is built to hell
kinds of houses built up there
now it's a little area called
a little area called Peregrin
residential area
big dollar houses up there right at the base of the mountains
and oh man this is so built up there
he's got a house sitting right
right
and somebody's back
right right in his backyard
this guy's backyard is where I saw this thing
he's put 10 foot
prints. So I drive down, I'm driving down the cul-de-sac and I'm looking at his house.
God is right behind this house and the guy happened to be out in his front yard. He was looking
at me like, you know, he's getting suspicious and you're like, what are you looking at my house
for this and out of this? This guy's getting suspicious. I'll let me explain what I'm doing.
And I stopped my bike. I said, I got it, I got a story for you. And she says, okay,
what do you got? So I shut my bike off and took my helmet off and
I was telling him about my friend and I were back before there's any house up here and everything.
The 10 bigfoot prints I saw made the right about where your backyard, where your backyard is right now.
He was pretty interested to hear that.
I thought, well, he'd probably like to hear that.
He used to have 10 foot big foot prints in your backyard at one time.
Back in 1972, he was pretty.
he was kind of glad to hear that
I saw that I let you know about that
I went back and let the homeowner know what I saw in the backyard
before there's ever eight houses there
and let's see
okay I got one more little thing
and I'm going to let you decide what you think it is
I don't know what the heck did this
in my
in the other side of my yard
not the dark side but the other side
where I portulites
on that on the other side.
I was doing
yard work
for about two or three hours
and I get into the yard work
and pull the weed and gather
sticks, take the sticks to the bird pile, you know,
this and that.
And I guess so wound up with what I'm doing
and I forget to even get a drink of water
and I was sweating.
I was just like either two or two or three hours
and I was so thirsty.
I had like a couple of sticks to I brought back in.
I went to one area that I hadn't been at the whole time.
And I was so thirsty and couldn't wait again to get a drink of water and get the shower.
I was worried to have sugars and poison ivy stuff on me and everything else.
So I wanted to get a couple of drinks of water and a glass of water.
And they got in the shower.
And the last part I saw in my yard, there was a process.
I didn't measure it off there was it looked like approximately a 10 foot wide perfect circle of flattened grass
there wasn't one thick of grass stick it up is flattened a perfect 10 foot circle that I don't know how that was done
yeah this must was done what must have been done last night and then so I thought well shoot
I'm just so I got to get something to drink and I got to get in the shower.
So I couldn't I I I did I I thought so dead tired it wasn't thinking while I didn't I could have taken a picture of you idiot.
Why didn't you take a picture of that?
I thought remember I was so dead tired.
I had to get a drink water.
I had to get in the shower and by the time I got out of the shower all like it.
There was laying my recliner all deaf.
the rest of the i was totally worn out i let a picture a picture taken slip my mind and the next
morning i woke out and all shit and you go out see if there's see if there's a see if that thing's
they all i got out there oh man two-thirds of the grass is growing up already can't hardly tell her
that hardly doesn't even look like a good circle anymore uh well it must have been a couple of
deer that did that. But how in the heck
did they make a perfect
10 foot wide circle? I mean, it was perfect.
There's no way a couple
of deer haphazardly could make a 10 foot
wide circle laying there at nighttime, you know.
And
just happens
a month or two ago.
I heard on somebody's channel on a big
one of the big foot channels
might even been years. I don't know.
Some guy said
that he found a
perfect circle in his grass
you're kidding me that's exactly what I saw
several months ago
the end of the last summer
he saw one too like that
I wonder if he was having big foot problems
or some kind of big foot experiences
he said he saw you got to be kidding me
that's exactly what I found in my yard
and so
that is strange
I don't know if you can give me any ideas what you think it was unless I had a little mini UFO laying in my backyard overnight with a 10-foot base.
You know, I have no idea how that got there.
That's very strange how that got there.
It's very strange that you had a, or somebody gave the same description of what they found in their yard of have big foot problems.
had the same same talked about they said they said I remember he said so it looked like somebody
walked around around around around the circles uh well mine mine was perfect circle but it
a whole you know the whole from one side of the other was totally flattened of grass there
wasn't any there wasn't one thing sticking up and it was a perfect circle totally flattened
I don't know how the heck that happened
and your idea is as good as mine
I don't know what the heck it could have been
so that's about all the stories I've got
I haven't had anything happen to me since last summer
it seems like they migrate or they go to
where there's a bunch of caves
or they're up the river maybe they go up there
with warmer in the wintertime and they
kind of make their dwelling somewhere else
I hear there's a lot of caves that I missed.
Look, finding out.
Here there's some caves up to the, between Martha'sville and piers where I ran that bike
off the Katie Trail.
They said you have to take some small trail off the Katie Trail to go find the cave and
I'll shoot.
I have to go do that sometime, but I never got up there again.
I'd have to run a bike again and see what they got up there.
That's all, that's all of my experiences from start to finish.
and I can say that they haven't had anything
I haven't experienced anything in the last
since the end of summer
nothing since then
okay
I gotta get some lights put up in my backyard
yeah Stephen you've had some lights put in my backyard
absolutely you've had some really interesting things
happen over the years
that 10 foot circle
is extremely interesting
Yeah, I know it.
Especially with another guy
had reported the exact same thing
several months after I saw.
I think reported like two months ago.
I saw this thing in the end of summer.
And he reported about
oh, three or four months after I saw my circle.
I don't remember what state.
I wish I would have wrote that down
when he would, you know,
what title of site he was on.
But yeah,
somebody else reported a
Same thing. Maybe some of your friends have heard might have been on one of your friends' channels.
I don't know what channel I heard it on. I should have wrote it down. Bigfoot Society will be right back after these messages.

deliciously popped perfectly salted skinny pop popular for a reason you know I'm trying to
think the circle thing was the last you know I'm trying to think of a logical explanation for that
and you know to be honest one is is escaping me and people can think of something you know feel
free to I know share in the comments but there's not one really coming to mind right away what
would cause a 10 foot, sounds like a 10 foot diameter, or is it, would you say 10 foot across the circle?
Yeah, I'm joking a little bit, but who knows?
You know, it could have been some kind of UFO with a 10 foot base on a land in my yard that night, you know?
Who knows what this?
This is not much more far fetched than big foot nowadays, you know, people, but, but,
Maybe something weird like that happened too.
I don't know what.
I explain there was nothing else but a 10 foot flat in a circle, perfect circle.
Not once stick of grass was sticking up.
It was flat as could be for a perfect 10 foot circle.
And I don't know what caused that beyond me.
He knows.
we're being vague about the town that that took place in correct this is marthesville oh marthesville
marthesville Missouri okay gotcha one one miles of one miles of close from from my house is where
the Missouri River is one mile of crew one mile across 47 through the farmers fields is
where it comes to Shrek Creek and then then then the little then there's some more farmers
then there's the Missouri River.
Absolutely.
And, you know, that's the thing,
you know, Shrek Creek Creek is a,
be a good place for big
foot to go fishing because that's,
that's water that's backed up from the Missouri River.
That big catfish and everything will swim right out of the Missouri River
and up the Shrek Creek.
And then it's only, it's only like, you know,
three or four foot deep,
they're probably very visible, you know,
they'd be good,
fishing grounds. I bet I bet you're a good fishing grounds where if Bigfoot
wanted to try to fish in the Shrek Creek which they probably have found, it's
might be a good place to spot them, you know. They might have been on,
that might have been one of the places where they hang around in my area because
there's Shrette Creek is right there backed up from the Missouri River. It's probably good
fishing for them. Oh yeah, absolutely. You want to definitely
make sure there's a good food source around where you're,
you're having the sightings and that helps, you know, verify it because they do need a lot of food in their areas for sure.
The areas that you've been talking about in Missouri is, do those areas, do you find that Bigfoot has talked about in those areas?
Or there are a lot of other things that happen?
I think people are just tight-lipped about that, including myself.
Right.
You know, that's nice talking to your program.
I feel free to say what, you know, you don't want people thinking that you're a wacko.
You know, I want to buy a will, you know.
So I don't, you know, tell people around this town, I don't think I've told anybody in this town what I experienced.
Oh, yeah, yeah, I did get, I did forget something.
Okay.
The guy that used to own this house, he had a nice,
flower garden made and
and I've been keeping it up really nice
and he stops here
he stops back to see his friends and to see his
house once here and he comes
and visits me in the house
he sees how his gardens doing and stuff
he came over a couple of ladies
with him last time and
we're talking on my
deck
my porch
and I said man you already
I told the past over
I saw I said
he wouldn't leave some of the noises I get at night time.
And that's all I told at this point.
And the first thing out of his mouth, he says,
screams?
I said, yes, screams.
You know, I've heard a woman screaming two or three different times.
And I've got really good neighbors.
I know it wasn't, you know, screaming from one of the houses.
I know darn well. It's sound like from from the woods. So yeah, you know, yeah, screams, you know. But like I say, he, he must have, he said, oh, yeah, he said, oh, it's just those are probably just foxes. Man, what I said, what I heard were, weren't foxes. These were powerful streams with hundreds of feet in the woods away from me as strong as heck of
through my house.
I got a good well-made house.
I can hear these screams very well through my walls, man,
a few hundred feet away.
They're way more powerful than some kind of fox would have.
I never heard a fox scream in my,
I don't know what they sound like,
but these weren't a little teeny fox making these noises I heard.
So that's the last little information.
and I forgot to tell you about what that was the owner of this house.
He used to hear screams too, but he would stop there in boxes.
So that's that.
That's really interesting.
An interesting experiment might be if you go on YouTube and just search for like Fox screams
and just listen to a few recorded, and I'm guessing what you'll hear is doesn't even come close.
to what you're hearing behind your house.
I can't imagine
because I know how big something I heard sounded.
A little 20, 30-pound fox is not going to make these
enormous screams several hundred feet up in the woods from me.
You know, I've seen my backyard.
I saw four little baby foxes in my backyard.
They're running around having a good time.
Never saw the mommy around anywhere.
but there are four of them together
I think she was them
and never heard any
never heard one of them make a noise
though
you know
there's
there's so much
bigfoot activity down there
in Missouri and not just
on you know
my channel but also
another great channel
is Miguel at Sasquatch Theory
he's pretty much
the go-to
for Missouri
Bigfoot
things going on
and do you have any
thoughts
Steven as to why
there's so much
bigfoot activity
specifically
down in
southern Missouri
I
well
there's a lot of
water
and they've got to
be close to
a lot of water
there's
like I say
they've got
Shret Creek
here
they got
the Missouri
River
a mile from
my back
door
north
southbound
of me
Missouri River
is just a
miles
of crow flies
one mile
south
of me
I can see the Shrek Creek tree line in Shrek Creek.
I can see the Missouri River tree that line the Missouri River past those.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's see.
Plus sometimes the farmers, well, farmers have corn going all over the place.
They have soybeans growing all over the place in the summertime.
Not to mention the Shrek Creek and Missouri River.
there'd be all kinds of stuff for Bigfoot to eat out here, at least during the summertime.
Maybe that's why they move away after the crops are gone, you know, for the winter.
Maybe they go somewhere else where they can eat better.
I don't know where they go.
It seems like they only come around here like in the summertime.
I found it interesting that you had some things happen over by Weldon Spring.
that is an area that has come up a few times on the show.
And I'm sure there's got to be other people out there
that have had experiences in that whole conservation area
and that haven't spoken up about them yet.
But just a really weird area.
I'm glad you brought that area up.
Yeah, there's a parking lot.
Every time I used to, that's kind of out of my way where I live now.
But when I used to drive my motorcycle from St.
Charles down the linearies I go past that parking lot all the time there'd be a lot of
car a lot of cars down there parked you know walking up walking up that trail I
think on the other side of the street is a real close to Missouri River I think
there might even be a trail walks down to the Missouri River too but this yeah this
the welled springs not springs but Weldon Spring and
conservation area they've got
I looked on a map so I could be specific where it was.
My map shows two areas of Weldon Spring Conservation Area.
One's on the north side of Highway D.
One's on the south side of Highway D.
I was in the one on the south side of Highway D.
That's where the parking lot comes from the bottom.
But I came in from the top.
I came and took my motorcycle.
past the high school that's up there.
And a little trail that I ended up at the top of that trail.
It comes from well, the spring conservation area.
I ended up in their property.
Deep in their property, according to my map,
that's why that's exactly where I was.
I was deep in the middle of that conservation area
where I saw that dead deer and had those bad, bad feelings come over me
while I was there.
I should have told my girlfriend what I was feeling.
see if she felt the same way. I bet she was too.
Yeah, I guess that's...
That would have been extremely interesting. Yeah.
I just want to say thank you for sharing what you've experienced over the years.
Stephen, I know you had said before we started that this is one of the first times that you've really shared some of these events, correct?
this is this is this is this is this is this is the first time i shared all of my events i shared
very few with anybody except from my brother and uh maybe a couple of girls i knew from some
wineries or something that you know then that i just kind of you know you say a lot of things
of strangers sometimes that you're just shooting a breeze with you know and back i go to these
I go to these, like, Montel Winery a lot.
And that is just, that's a hop, skipping and jump from, from, from the big foot tracks I saw at Missouri River and, and Klondike Park.
And I figured they must have a lot of, a lot of trash they throw from the winery.
I wonder, I bet this would be a prime place for a trash diver for like a big foot, you know.
to come up and try to get in their trash things.
I don't talk to the management up there sometimes.
They have any weird things about big things, you know,
things getting in their trash at night,
and if they possibly might have seen something like that, you know.
But that's, that'd be a perfect dining place for Bigfoot at nighttime
and getting in their trash dumpsters, I bet,
leftover pizza and things like that, you know.
Yeah, that's a good idea.
I mean, that's kind of a good lead there.
It'd be interesting if you're able.
to contact if you find anything. But Stephen, do you feel it's important to actually get your
experiences out there to share with a larger audience? Yeah, I just, you know, I would, I'm glad I got
this out to a whole lot of people because I, it's something I don't want to die with. I want people
to know this stuff, you know. I'm 72 years old. I don't have a lot of years left. I would,
I want people to hear all these stories I've had to happen to me by Bigfoot.
experiences my life before I am not able to tell anybody.
I don't want to die with all these neat stories that I've had in my life of Bigfoot
without somebody, you know, people are hearing about them first.
You know, I feel I feel finally good to get it all out and say all the,
all the secrets I've been keeping in that I haven't told, you know.
And like I said, I don't think my brother's even heard about all these.
So my brother, luckily, he's a good brother.
He believes me, you know.
and he knows I don't lie and so
so that's about all he's been
mainly one of the few I've told most of this stuff too
there might be a couple things on here I left out
but I can't remember
I don't know that's about it
but yeah I'm I'm glad to
I'm glad to let people know that
the
that's if they that they aren't for sure already for all of them
