sometimes known as the saskatch whisper he's been into some crazy situations over the years but i was just catching up with him the other night and he told me about something that happened to him in Missouri. And I said, man, Joe, we got to talk about it. So, Joe, how are you doing, my friend? I'm doing good. I'm getting on the backside of having pneumonia. But I think I'm healthy enough to talk about this a little while. Yes, sir, definitely. And we'll be sending prayers and good vibes. And hopefully you'll be getting over that soon enough. But did you have the pneumonia when you were going through this, what we're about to talk about? No, I, okay. I had a double biopsy done the 31st of May on my lungs, and it turned into a infected aorta and bronchial pneumonia.

Oh, dear. So this happened, what happened to me, we're going to talk about the night happened around the end of April. Okay. Yeah, let's get right into it, Joe. Share with the listeners where we're talking about, where you were, and what happened? Okay, I was in southeast Missouri. I can't think of the county, but it was near Donovan. I was about three or four miles north of Highway 160 back in Mark Twain National Forest where this happened.

It was a hop, skipping a jump from the current river. I went up there. My older son has a girlfriend that lives up that direction. And he promised her he would take her to her promise. but she would come down to his prom. She upheld her end of the bargain, took him up her for the weekend to uphold his end of the market. And so while he was doing his thing,

I took the opportunity to camp out in Mark Twain National Forest, like I've done several times since last October. I got up her Friday evening set up. Nothing happened Friday evening. And this is in the same place. was up there. The first time I was up there, I got shot at in that area, so I left. The second time I was up there, didn't nothing really happen, so I went back for the third time. Saturday, I got that feeling that something was watching me, and I thought this is pretty good.

The feeling of getting the creeps means something is watching me, and especially if it don't go away. And this area I was in was told to me by some other friends that people in the local area don't go around there because it's just a creepy place to be. I hung around there Saturday and I did my normal thing. I acted like I was just up there camping and enjoying myself. I wouldn't put no big vibes for trying to find Sasquatch or anything because I knew they were watching me just because every now and in you could hear some little breaks. Back in the woods, you could hear shuffling, feed, stuff like that. Sunday afternoon, we'll just push on up to Sunday, and nothing happened Saturday night. I didn't hear anything walking around grunts or anything.

Sunday night about dark, oh, I'd been, I'd cook me some fajitas, and I was eating them on soft taco shells, and it was basically fried red meat with onions and bell-pillar. pepper in a taco seasoning. And around, I guess it's around 5.36 o'clock. The sun had gone down, but it hadn't got dark yet. And I heard something coming up through the woods. And I sat there and watched and there was five adult males on all fours walked right up to the edge of my count.

Now, I didn't tell you before, but when I got there this time, there was a bow tree sapling over where my campfire was. And there was a roque limb that was twisted and pointed straight down at the ground. And I knew that there had been Sasquatch there since I'd been there last time for that reason. But I didn't pay attention to the signs. And so when they'll come up, five of them come right. up within 45, 50 feet of my campsite. And they sat right out

and open. They sat on their backside just like grillists do. They were looking around. They weren't vocalizing. They were making it obvious that they weren't watching me even though they were watching me if that makes sense. And so I sat there a little while and I talked to them and they didn't respond. I keep my eye on them.

They didn't circle me completely around. It was almost like a half circle. In other words, if I was going to have to run, the only direction they had free for me was the road to get out of there. And I did notice that. After it got dark, I heard other ones in the woods around me And they were running in circles around my old camp, but they were staying outside the fire circle. But you could see the eye shine whenever they looked at the camp.

And they were running not all in the same direction. It was chaotic. I couldn't keep up with them. There was at least four of them. And those five still sat there just like nothing was going on. So I sat there and watched them five. and I listened to the other ones and I kept talking to them five

but they wouldn't pay no attention to me I might as well not have even been there as far as they were concerned but I noticed they were all males there there was no females and no littlings and to me that's a hunting party that's what I was thinking at the time looking back on it

I may have been right inside their home area and they'd run the females and the little ones off somewhere safe so they could run me out of there. That makes more sense from what they did than if they were a hunting party. I could have easily been a missing four one morning. If you want me to leave, I'll leave. I had no more said that than about two, two, three minutes later,

this piece of a pine sapling about four inches round and six feet long come flying out of the woods, look like somebody through it like a javelin, and it hit. at the back of my truck toolbox and put a big old den in it. There was this big mail. He walked between my truck and my fire and watched me the whole time. Never took his eyes off of me. And my fire pit was probably five feet round, so he could reach over there and got me if he wanted to.

If he wanted to count cool on me and slap me on the head, if he played with matches, eventually one of them is going to strike. and if you go out looking for them, eventually you're going to see something that's going to be so far out of what you expect it to be that it will either intrigue you to the point where you're almost obsessed with it or it will scare you to the point

where you don't want nothing to do with it.
