And now let's get on with the show.
Right, Bigfoot Society.
We've got the privilege of talking to Nick Taylor today.
He is an individual from out there in the great state of Oregon.
And you may know him from his YouTube channel, which is called Backwoods Bigfoot.
We'll talk about that more in a little bit.
But how's it going tonight, Nick?
It's going good.
We actually just had a huge storm come through last night.
So it's a nice and calm tonight.
But it's going well.
Thank you.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
It's some crazy weather out there recently.
I've been watching it more in the Willamette National Forest area.
and they've gotten a ton of snow,
and I think you've got some big rain coming in.
Maybe that's what you were referring to when you were talking about that.
Yeah, I'm on the coast, the Oregon Coast,
so we get hit with the rain and the wind,
and then it turns into snow when you get to the cascade.
Man, the Oregon Coast,
we were talking a little bit before this started.
I was referring to the Willamette National Forest out there in Eugene,
but, man, stuff out there in the coast,
it's a different ball game.
It almost feels like stuff even gets crazier with Bigfoot,
the closer you get to the coast.
Do you have any thoughts about that?
Yeah, I've obviously experienced quite a bit of the coast,
but also in the Cascades area.
But the coast just has a weird, I don't know,
almost haunted vibe to it.
It's freaky and foggy and gloomy,
but then you add the Sasquatch Bigfoot
and other weird things that happen and weird people.
There's definitely a lot of weird people out here too.
So, yeah, the coast has a lot of action.
And the cool thing about Oregon is you can,
there's forests all the way from the coast, the beach.
There's the beach, and then the forest literally starts at the beach,
and then it goes all the way to the Cascade Mountain Range.
So theoretically, a big foot or any other.
other animal could literally make it from the coast to the cascades without being detected.
So it's pretty cool.
Oh, wow.
So you could be at the beach on the Oregon coast.
Look right behind you and like there's the woods.
There could be a big foot or there's something right there pretty much.
Yep.
Yep.
And I've actually heard quite a bit of at least a handful of sightings actually on the beach where
people are like having a fire on the beach and then they literally saw a Sasquot.
or what they believed was a Sasquatch.
I've never been that lucky, but yeah,
because it's, think about it's a great food source.
You got out the whole ocean,
there's a bunch of rivers that feed into the ocean,
bays, crabs, clams, clam, fish, all that.
So, yeah, it's, the forest literally meets the sand here,
which is pretty awesome.
That's extremely interesting.
Nick, let's go back to,
let's go back to however far we need to go back to,
when you first got involved with all this bigfoot craziness out there.
I've been into the subject probably my whole life,
really like diving deep into it probably like 15 years or so.
And then probably through the last couple years,
I was like, I go out in the woods all the time.
I love looking for Bigfoot and other weird anomalies.
and I actually had a little bit of film background from college, nothing crazy.
So I was like, why don't I just make a channel and see what happens?
So I did that, and it's going well, but one thing is I don't like to just put out a bunch of videos for no reason.
So usually I wait until I find something cool or what I think is cool and then make a video.
But yeah, I've been into it my whole life, but just recently the last couple of things,
years started taking it more seriously you know that was actually something i was going to ask because
you watch your videos on your channel and you know when i was watching i was like i feels like this guy
has a little bit of a film back they are they're really well put together and people
definitely uh will want to check out backwards bigfoot and i'll have the link in the description or
show notes for this episode, but it's a very cool look at research that goes on through your eyes
out there. It's very, I enjoy watching the episodes that I've seen. Was there a experience,
you know, back towards the beginning that really set things off that put you down this trail?
I've had quite a few crazy things, weird things happen, but I did actually see one one time,
So that was probably the one that was like, holy moly.
Because even though you believe in it and you've researched it
and heard all these encounters and the news clippings, I go back a long time,
no one really knows unless it's, you're always 99% unless you actually encounter one.
I was in Bellingham.
We went to go move my wife's grandparents.
They lived in Bellingham, like on 10 acres in the rural area,
Bellingham, Washington.
It's super far north,
almost the Canadian border
for those that don't know.
So they lived in a rural area,
10 acres,
long gravel road,
and we went over there
to help them move
because they were getting older
and couldn't manage
living alone anymore.
So we were,
they had like a pole barn
and a bunch of out buildings
and stuff.
So we had all these dumpsters
and we were filling them
for like two days straight.
And the nature
neighbors have horses and there's deer all around there.
And so I was like, you guys have seen any big foot?
And they laughed.
And her grandmother's like, I believe in them, but I haven't seen any.
So after we were done working one day, I went out there.
And there's a big forest, right?
Like butts up to their property.
And I went out there looking just for like 20 minutes.
And then the next day, I went and actually took my camera.
and as I'm going up up this kind of grassy hill,
I literally see this, I don't even know what to call it at that moment,
but it was like a hairy person,
but it was actually a juvenile,
or what I assumed was a juvenile.
So it was probably like the size of an eight-year-old boy or something.
And the grass was probably like five feet tall, four or five feet tall,
just an overgrown field.
and it scurried across there and then basically jumped down on all fours.
And I had never, because this was probably like 13 years ago or so.
And it was before I've ever heard of them crawling on all fours.
So it was really weird.
But this thing jumped down on all fours and then scurried down this kind of small embankment into the forest,
Blackberry bushes and it was probably like 15 yards for me when it did that and I was standing there
like stunned like what the heck did I just see and your mind doesn't quite put it all together.
It's like was that what I think it was or was that something else or it was crazy and the way it moved
was just weird.
It moved the stop motion animation type movement but super fast faster than any purpose.
person could be and it
what a frog kind of goes
with his arms moves
super twitch fast muscles
it was like that but just like the blink
of an eye it moved probably like
20 yards straight down
into the
blackberry bushes
and I didn't get a great
look at it but I saw like
full body hair
and the hair
was like
thin and patchy
I always think about, I don't know if you've seen the Marvel movies, that raccoon from the Guardians of the Galaxy, how he has, the hair reminded me of that creature on that movie.
So it dove down to the Blackberry bushes, and I was like, well, that's weird.
And, of course, my camera wasn't rolling at the time because I was just getting started, which is a bummer.
But I don't even know if I would have been quick enough to get much of it.
so I of course did the dumb thing and followed it down into the blackberry bushes
and it was that area of the forest was just super thick and there's blackberry bushes
up to my chest and so I was moving super slow like trying to move mower step on them and stuff
and never could catch up to it or find it again or anything but it does something weird
did happen afterwards. So I probably get 100 yards into that forest and I see this huge tree
that's falling over. It's probably like eight feet across, six feet across. And I was like,
wow, this is awesome. And so I climbed up on top of it just for the heck of it and to get a good
view, you know, and I'm standing up there and all of a sudden something was bedded down
like right next to it.
And like the ferns and the blackberries were just all super thick.
So you couldn't see very far in front of you.
That's why I climbed up there.
And I don't know if probably your listeners that have been out in the woods a lot, like if you
are going through the woods and you disturb something that's bedded down, it jumps up
and takes off running and it's super loud like an elk or something just it's it's shocking how
massive and how fast they are how much it disturbs the branches and foliage so i'm up there on the
thing and then boom this something bursts up and just books it i think to the east but what was weird
is i could tell by the sound that it was i was right next to it but i could not see anything and
if it was a large animal
you could tell from the sound
but I couldn't see anything
at all
but I could hear it go through the forest
until it the sound dissipated
and so that literally scared me
racing a thousand miles an hour
in my mind I was like
oh that was probably
the creature's
parent or whoever was
with that little one but of course
I had no proof of that but
in my mind that's just the correlation that I made.
But what was really weird,
weird than that,
probably like two minutes later,
I heard gunshots in the direction of where that animal ran to,
like three gunshots.
So that was the first real Sasquatch experience
was seeing that little one run
and then being scared to death of,
quote unquote, an invisible something jumping up and running away from me.
Oh, man.
That is such an intense introduction to really getting into it.
Can you remind me what year and approximate month that would have been?
Oh, man.
It was summertime.
I know that because it was super hot.
I can't remember the exact year.
I'm not very good with dates.
But it was probably, so I would say 2014-ish.
Okay.
In the summertime, I don't know exactly what month.
I do know Bellingham has had just hearing stories.
That area has a lot of sightings and strange anomalies going on.
Of course, it's close to like the Olympic Peninsula and Canada, so it's prime location.
And there was actually on their road, there was a huge Bigfoot carving, which was cool.
Yeah, and actually I was going to actually point out something similar to that is so listeners will remember that pretty recent we had an individual share about the Lummi Reservation and all the things that have happened over there.
This is just to the west of Bellingham, Washington.
So same area.
You've got a ton of Bigfoot activity, at least over on the reservation part.
If you look on a map, you can see how relatively close this area.
is to that reservation.
But so you mentioned when you had seen the juvenile,
you saw it on all fours,
did you, at any point were you able to get a good look at its face at all?
No, that's the bummer of the whole thing was when it was in the grass,
and it jumped up and probably took like three steps
and then went down on all fours.
Bigfoot Society will be right back.
after these messages.
Let's go, girls.
You know what I love about Addy?

It said everything happens for a reason
But maybe everything happens for a Reese's
Take noise-canceling headphones
Do they block hearing to heighten taste?
Hmm
That sound seems to show
Everything happens for a Reese's
Facing away from me the entire time
So I was thinking it was hiding in the grass
The tall grass
And then it saw me walking towards it
I was walking towards the actual
tallest point on the on the acreage right when i got almost to the top it jumped up from my left
and took about three steps going towards my right and then jumped on all fours and scurried down
this little embankment so it went from my left to my right but it was always facing the
forest it never faced me unfortunately were there
Many details you remember that when you saw that particular part of it or experienced it, that you're like, okay, what I'm looking at is definitely not a bear, but it's definitely something else.
Oh, yeah. It's definitely not a bear or a human. Other creature it could be would have been like some sort of primate monk chimpanzee, but it didn't have the proportions for a chimpanzee.
I've seen plenty of bear in the wild and familiar with all the wildlife in the northwest here, Pacific Northwest.
Yeah, and what's weird is it took me probably five minutes for it to register in my mind.
That's what I saw, you know.
It was definitely, I couldn't tell you for 100% it was a Bigfoot, but it was definitely not normal wildlife and not a,
normal human that we would consider.
So I guess my mind was like it has to be a Sasquatch.
I'd 99% sure it was a juvenile Sasquatch.
That's extremely interesting.
Were you able to notice any shape of the head at all or with the shoulders or anything I thought?
No, it was pretty like gangly, skinny because it was probably four feet at height.
I would estimate and pretty skinny.
The hair was like a dirty brownish type.
It wasn't like a full, it was mattie and not even patches, I guess you could say, more.
But the head probably, to me, that I can remember, it seemed a little small for the body,
but that could have just been the perspective of it going away from me and possibly looking down.
I wish I could have seen his face.
That would have been crazy.
It's so interesting because there are a fair amount of encounters I've taken where the person is not able to see the face.
And you almost have to wonder if it's because, I don't know, man.
Sometimes I think about this stuff and it's like, okay, how far do I want to take this?
but it's like, is it because the person wouldn't be able to handle it?
I don't know, man.
Yeah.
I really don't know.
Yeah, that's the crazy thing about this subject is there's so many unknowns and variables.
And you hear the whole gamut from people thinking they're just a primate, normal animal,
to a human species or extraterrestrials or enlightened,
forest beings, protectors, and there's the whole range. And, you know, who knows the, who knows
what's real? Maybe a few people, but then how can you believe it? Even if you, even if someone told you,
hey, this is the truth. I know I've studied these in the lab for 50 years, or I'm best friends
with one or whatever. It's like, how could you even believe them? That's what's cool and fascinating
about the whole thing is there's so much to it and the more you learn a lot of people say this the more
you find out the more you learn the less it's just wild you know you probably same for you because
you probably hear all kinds of stuff to where you're like really this is where it's going right now
i hear enough where now when a person comes up to me and says i really want to see one or experience one
it's not even just that I'm saying the
be careful what you wish for thing
it's like having a serious
discussion with the person like
are you absolutely like are you absolutely sure
because you need to be aware of what this could lead to
as how you could be affected physically
and or mentally
I have to be careful how I say that
because that could be taken a different way
but it's more like sometimes when you've
encountered these things or when you're in the same area, it can affect you physically, but you can
also start to have things happen inside your mind, and it is hard to be able to control those
things. I don't know if that's anything that you've encountered over the years, but things can get
really wild. I've never had that, I don't know if it's good or bad. I'd like to, but I'm a little
weird and crazy, but never had any like the mind speak or anything like that. I have been
terrified to the point where it's probably the scariest I've ever been in my life and like primal fear
to where you're like, I might die. But I've never had, and I've heard like the whoops and tree
knocks and all that stuff, but never like physical sickness besides just adrenaline dump and
scared out of your mind that that affects you pretty hardcore never like the mind speak or communication
or anything like that and i guess depending on how it went if it was good then i would like to
experience it if it is real and then but if it's like you said if they're in your mind doing
weird things and no thank you it's such an interesting topic because it's it's
it can range anywhere from we're trying to get you in a certain part of the forest.
So follow us here.
Or, hey, we just want you to know what our name is.
Or we really don't like the way you're acting.
And you should probably stop or there's going to be issues.
And those are all from encounters that I've taken.
But you'd mention that there was a time where you just got gripped with fear.
Is that anything that you would feel comfortable sharing that situation?
Yeah, of course.
There's two times.
The one that really got me was we were, my family and I were staying at a cabin just outside of Rockaway, Oregon, which is a coastal town here.
It's in the Tillamook National Forest, and Tillamook has a lot of sightings in history.
So we were staying in the cabinets and Rockaway's tiny is like a little tiny beach town.
And so we're out right in between basically the forest and the ocean, probably 100 yards west is a forest, 100 yards east is to go straight up into the mountains.
And that day I was out, went Sasquotching for a couple hours.
and I had my dog with us.
She's half pit, half border collie.
And we went out there.
And the only weird thing we found was like an area where the ground was super disturbed,
like something was digging in there.
And then there was animal droppings that were huge, like literally the size round of a pop can.
Actually, I took a picture of it.
I should have it somewhere.
And then my dogs started rolling.
around in the part where the animals were digging.
I assumed it was a bear just digging up there,
but there was a lot of bear scat and Cougar scat.
And the other scat did not look like either.
So that was strange.
But anyway, so came home that night.
It's about 2 o'clock in the morning, 2 to 3 a.m.
And everybody's asleep.
And I was literally just about to go to bed.
And I hear what I thought at the time, there was a cabin probably like a block away from Mars where I saw people checking in that day.
And it was like younger, probably like three couples in their 20s or something.
And so I'm about to go to bed and I hear this blood-curdling scream that sounded like a woman was getting like dismembered.
And I was like, what in the world?
So I go out on the deck
This cabin has a deck that goes all the way around the cabin upstairs
So I go on the deck and I hear the scream again
And I'm like this ain't good
I literally thought a woman was getting butchered close by
So I went back in the house
Grabbed my sidearm
Went back on the deck
And I
The scream, the woman scream mutated not mutated
but turned into more of a roar slash howl scream.
When it did that, all my body just like froze.
When they say the hair stands on the back of your neck,
it did that times a million.
Like every hair in my body was like I was zapped with static electricity,
was all like tingling.
The goosebumps were like you could sand a two by four with my skin.
it was that big of a reaction and the roar thing happened probably like 10 more times
and basically I just stood there like in terror and obviously I don't know it was a Sasquatch
but all the other howls and stuff you hear on YouTube they're very similar
and the fact that it must have been probably within a couple hundred yards to half a mile away, whatever it was.
But it was the loudest, craziest, deafening sound I've ever heard in my life.
And it basically made me paralyzed and just stood there.
And like almost to the point where like you can't move because you're struck with fear.
It was crazy.
That's extremely powerful.
I get, I've experienced that howl,
scream, roar as well.
And yes, it's like,
there's some primal reaction that your body does
and you just, you can't control it.
It just,
stuff comes into play from our past
where we used to be freaked out by something,
I think.
and it just our body is like yeah good luck yeah it was crazy and like
i think it was probably about 10 to 15 roars and i had my phone on me and i never once even
thought to hit record i was that like just holy crap and then like by the end of it i was like
the sidearm that i have is not going to do any good and whatever that is making
that sound, it could walk right through the walls of this cabin.
Like, basically I was like, I'm at the mercy of whatever this thing is.
And there's nothing that you could do at that moment if it wanted to walk in there and take you out.
And I backtrack a little bit.
Like, my late teens, we went to the San Francisco Zoo.
And that place, I guess it's famous for their big cats.
tigers and lions and everything had this big horseshoe cage thing and we got to you got to go
inside that and all the tigers and lions and they had the liger would all come in inside there
into the indoor pins and this guy comes walking in with a wheelbarrow full of like meat horse meat
and he would make the tigers and everybody roar and he'd be like oh I didn't hear you and they'd
roar louder and he's like, I didn't hear you
and they'd roar louder and it was a
concrete, you're in a concrete box
so the echo was just
crazy and you could just, your chest was
vibrating from these lions and tigers
roaring and that experience
was nothing compared to
the sound that I heard
out there in that cabin.
So just a little bit of perspective
like it was
I imagine if you're on
heard of T-Rex screaming, you're
and that's similar to what it sounded like.
So, yeah, it was nuts.
I've never heard anything like that before or since.
Have you heard, or is that area that you had that experience in?
Is it well known for other things, other experiences happening in that area,
people hearing things or seeing things?
Yeah, it definitely has a lot of Bigfoot and even just like,
I don't know if it was like the BFRO or whatever.
Online, like you can look up stories.
Like there's actually a lake up there called Skookham Lake.
I didn't think Skookum's a native word for that is used for Sasquatch sometimes.
But, yeah, that whole area, Tilema National Forest in general has a lot of crazy stories.
And from everything from like hidden gold from like pirate ship.
to Native Americans finding some gold, hiding it up there.
Because it's where the Goonies movie got their plot from.
And then, of course, there's other weird orbs.
I've never heard of like dogman stuff,
but I'm sure there is over there.
I just haven't heard of any over there.
When you've been out or in the state of Oregon,
Have you experienced any things that, weird stuff that you're just like, I have no idea how to explain what I just saw or what I just experienced here.
Bigfoot Society will be right back after these messages.
Let's go, girls.
So you've been taking one of these little pink pills daily?
Yeah.
And you feel.
Uh-huh.
And more.
More?
Huh.
I didn't think we could feel like that again at our age.
Oh, get ready, girl.

By the time I hit my 50s, I'd learned a few things, like how family is precious.
Work can always wait.
And 99% of people over 50 already have the virus that causes shingles.
Not everyone at risk will develop it, but I did.
The painful, blistering rash disrupted my life for weeks.
Don't learn about your shingles risk the hard way.

They say everything happens for a reason, but I suspect everything happens for a recesses.
Like this commercial break.
Did you need 15 seconds away from music?
Or 15 seconds to eat arreases?
Perhaps it's true.
Everything happens for a recesses.
Yeah.
So we've had
So my buddy
Andy
Goes out with me a lot
When he can
But he lives actually
A couple hours away
So it's not
Enough
Kind of sucks
But on our
YouTube channel
He's on some of the videos
With me
But we've had
BORbs that we've seen
In the woods
That moved
And
Did weird things
There's no way
It could have been
flashlights or car lights or anything else.
And then sounds, you always get just weird sounds,
whoops and trenox and howls.
Supposedly there's no wolves here on the Oregon coast,
although people have seen them,
or claimed to have seen them.
And then also one night we saw
probably like,
we basically laid on our backs
on a logging road for like three hours in the middle of the night,
just watching the sky as we saw,
I guess you would call them UFOs, UAPs,
all through the night, probably a total of like a couple hundred.
Some would go fast and move direction and change, do all that.
Some looked like they were chasing each other.
Kind of looked like a weird Star Wars scene from way far away.
So those were a few.
of the weird things.
You had given me a few things that had happened over the years.
So there's a few things that I want to ask about specifically that I know about.
You had said that you'd had an interesting event happen around Cannon Beach and
where you were, something happened in the forest area around there.
Oh, yeah.
Actually, I think that wasn't the same night as we were laying on the logging trail,
but it was, I think it was the same week, but almost the same exact little area we were at.
So we were hiking out there, squatching, looking for Sasquatch.
We found, usually you can see a lot of, in this area of the coast, you can, if you look hard enough,
you'll see stuff that you think might be or could be, like from weird tree breaks to
possible footprints, impressions, and then weird sounds, like I said.
So we were hiking up in the mountains of behind Cannon Beach,
and we actually got turned around,
so we lost where we were,
but I knew the general direction we were going.
And on a just side detail here,
my buddy Andy was staying on this huge log
and fell off the log and just a normal person would have broken,
their elbow, but he's a tough
son of a gun, but
he landed and was in
terrible pain, which
of course, amused me, but
we were hiking
back to trying to find
where we were going, and we stopped
and we were
just taking a break kind of, because
it was wet out, and
a lot of the forest up here is
super up and down
and lots of stuff. You got to climb
over, go around, and slip,
and fall. So we stopped and took a break and my Andy loves to hike with no flashlights. He's a
weirdo. And of course, me being the camera, it's pretty pointless to hike without a flashlight
if you're going to try to film. We butt heads about that all the time. Anyway, we stopped,
took a break. We're sitting on these logs, both no, no flashlights or anything. We're just sitting
there in the pitch dark in the middle of the forest, probably for about 10 minutes, just talking
and hanging out, and all of a sudden something comes down the hill. We're on a flat surface,
and up above us was a hill, and down below us was the hill going down. All of a sudden,
something starts coming towards us in the night, in the pitch black from up above us.
And I'm like, we're both like, you hear that? And it starts getting.
louder and then it's like running towards us and I'm trying to get my flashlight or my phone
I don't think we had a flashlight I was trying to get my phone light on and we whatever it was
probably got within like five yards by the time I got my light out on my phone and turned it
on and there was nothing there. It was completely either it wasn't visible or it cloaked or it
dove behind a tree at the last second or something, but it was super loud and, you know, when you're
out there at night, your hearing is super enhanced and sensitive and basically something
bolt rushed us and by the time we got the light out, it was not.
there and so we were both super freaked out about that and made for a fun rest of the walk back to
the car that's something i've not experienced yet what was the sound like in in the woods around
you during that time besides there's something rushing towards you yeah no it was super quiet
it's like one way they hear you hear all the when the woods goes
quietly quiet.
That's not a good thing.
So it was like that besides us talking back and forth, but we didn't really, we weren't
paying attention enough to notice anything, other noises or anything.
But I do remember it being quiet.
That whole trip we're walking back.
I usually hear some stuff, but it was, yeah, it was crazy.
And I have no explanation for what it could have been.
other than some strange anomaly.
No normal animal or person or anything could have done that.
It's so hard to, I think it's really hard to convey to people listening that have not been in Oregon.
How weird it is.
You literally just have to go out there, but don't just go out in the woods.
by yourself.
Like,
don't do that.
It is like,
you really don't want to mess around.
But if you can find someone
that knows what they're doing
and you can go out
and just like spend at least a week out there
and like if you can go in certain areas,
like you are going,
your outlook,
for me,
my outlook on life totally changed.
I experienced some weird stuff.
And it's just like,
it's a whole different world.
And it's not just the whole Portland
is weird thing.
Like, the state has some very weird things going on in the woods.
Have you ever heard or experienced anything that you think may have been a mimic sound or anything like that out there?
Oh, yeah.
Not all the time, but definitely a lot.
That's the crazy thing about it is how it's either a bird or something mimicking a bird or whatnot.
But we've heard lots of howls.
One time we were actually up Mount St. Helens at Ape Canyon.
Yeah, Andy and I went up there.
We went up there.
And basically there was not another soul in that whole area.
I don't know if you're familiar.
I'm sure you've heard the ape canyon story of the Bigfoot's attacking those miners,
like in the, I think it was early 1900.
Yeah, 1924.
Absolutely.
Yeah, there you go.
Yeah, so you know about that.
Yeah, we were like, let's go up there, and we went up there.
We went up early in the day and drove around until probably like four in the morning.
So we went inside there.
That was spooky.
But we were walking somewhere in a panic because I have no idea where we were at the time.
But in that general area, and we just heard like super loud whoops.
And then like 10 minutes later or like five minutes later,
super loud howls that didn't sound like a it could have been a coyote but didn't really sound like a coyote
and then weird weird hoots that you think were owls but you don't know there's always something
and then oh forgot about this the same trip we were driving and we came to a fork in the road and
I was like which way should we go and we're like I don't know that way it's crazy let's go this way
So we went that way, and we're going probably like five miles an hour,
10 miles an hour down gravel road, like I think it was a logging road,
up on Mount St. Helens, 3 o'clock at night,
and all of a sudden, an owl is up on the branch,
probably like 20 feet above the car,
and it swoops down and literally attacks the grill of the car,
like wings out like it would when it picks up a rabbit or something.
Huge owl swoops down, attacks the grill of the car,
and then just stops and sits there in front of the car.
So I jump out and go walking towards it like what in the world?
And then it flew back up and went right back to that same branch that it was on.
we're both like that is super weird so we decided we should not go down that road we
turned around and went down a different road that's that is a very weird way of maybe something
attempting to get you out of an area yeah I don't know that's just how we took it it was like
if that's a sign then probably we should probably listen to it have you ever experienced any
Sounds such as like baby crying noises or like voices from the woods saying your name, anything weird like that?
Not voices, but I, we have heard crying.
Sometimes that's hard to tell because cougars make a crying sound, coyotes can.
And there's lots of both.
And even like raccoons make weird crying.
nothing that I was like, oh, that's a baby or that's a
Sasquatch or whatever entity does that.
But we have heard of where you think it is and then it plays with you.
And you're like, was that?
And then you hear it again a little bit later, but it's further away,
a different direction.
So we have never like super clear to where like, oh, yes,
that's, because I've heard about that happening,
but never to the point where I was like, that's definitely what's going on.
So you've definitely spent a lot of time out on the coast that area.
I believe earlier you had mentioned quickly about the Cascades as well.
Have you then spent any time doing any research or anything related to further inland to the Cascade area?
My buddy Andy, who I keep referring to, he's actually from Bend.
I don't know if you know where Bend is.
Yeah, I think you do.
Yeah.
So he actually prefers that all area, which, depending on the situation, I love it too.
But it's just further drive for me.
So I'd rather stick around here so I'd have to drive two hours.
Because I can be in the forest in less than 10 minutes from my house.
So it's nice that way.
But, yeah, we've been up Mount Hood, like I totally about St. Helens.
and I think we were chatting about it on your live on TikTok,
Sweetwater.
Is that Sweet Home?
Yeah.
Oh, Sweet Home, yeah.
I'm sorry.
Sweet Home's crazy.
And then the McKenzie River area is just beautiful and crazy.
And like Detroit Lake area, which is basically,
like if you were in Bend or on I-5 in the Valley,
and Oregon, you could, basically there's different corridors so you could go through Detroit or
up McKenzie or up the Sweet Home area. They're all, like you could all get there through the forest
if you could, but that whole area is just, and probably has more sightings than the coast,
but there's probably actually more people hanging out over there because there's big,
huge lakes and skiing and rivers and just summer activities are crazy over there and it gets
super hot in the summer and so you're in a mountainous lake and there's a lot of not actually there's
compared to what it should be there's not very many people around but there's more people around
than there is in the coastal forest oh absolutely you do have to have the people in order to report
what is experienced for sure when i was in yeah
the Oak Ridge area in July at Sasquatch Summerfest.
I was talking to a lot of people and a lot of people were talking about Sweet Home.
So I was like, man, I got to look a little bit more into what's up north of this area.
And is there anything that comes to mind when you think of the Sweet Home area when it comes to Sasquatch activity up there?
Well, I've probably been there like maybe like five times actually.
looking, squatching, I guess you'll call it, camping, squatching.
But just, it's so vast and big, you could go there for 10 years and never go to the same
spot if you didn't want to.
But the place that I want to go to this summer is, there's this reservoir called Green
Peter.
I don't know if you've heard of it, but it's a huge reservoir.
I don't even know how big it is, but to like dry reservoir.
around it would probably take four hours or something just because the windiness and everything.
But I don't know if you're, you ever see the TikTok thing about that giant door and stuff?
Bigfoot Society will be right back after these messages.
Let's go, girls.
So you've been taking one of these little pink pills daily?
Yeah.
And you feel.
Uh-huh.
And more.
More?
Huh.
I didn't think we could.
feel like that again at our age.
Oh, get ready, girl.
Ooh, la, la.
Man, I feel like a woman.

It said everything happens for a reason, but maybe everything happens for a recess.
Take noise-canceling headphones.
Do they block hearing to heightened taste?
Hmm.
That sound seems to show.
Everything happens for a Rees.
Oh, the giant store?
Is that up there?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
That's in like 20 minutes from Sweet Home, dude.
That's right.
Is it really?
Yeah.
Oh, you remember that whole deal?
That was nuts.
Yeah, that was nuts.
Okay.
I was going to go up there and I kept not going.
I was like, I got to go this weekend.
I was like, no, but this summer I'm going for sure.
Okay.
We got to try to explain because there's going to be a lot of people listening to this that are like, what are you guys talking about?
So it's like the side of a hill, it looks like there's a massive door the size of that a giant could walk into.
But it's not open, right?
Yeah. I think the original guy, I don't remember his name, but in his first video, he said that he saw it close, or was closing as he turned to look at.
it. And then that's how it blew up. Because it does, like, you've seen it. It looks like a doorway. And then
subsequent people started trying to get up there. It's hard to get to, like people had to get ropes and
stuff to go to it. And no one could ever not say it wasn't a door, but no one ever said, yeah,
that was a door. But then the guy who made the videos, other people go and then people were getting
harassed by, I don't know who they were, but weird, supposedly they were getting harassed by
people trying to cover it up apparently and it was a whole couple months of crazy the giant door
and on the side of the cliff what's funny i always have google naps pulled up when i'm on these
interviews and it's actually listed as a tourist attraction it's called the giant door it's
technically so yeah it's on green peter reservoir yeah it's technically in cascadia organ
But yeah, it's listed exactly where you need to go on Google Maps if people want to check it out.
It's the Giant Door, Cascadia, Oregon.
Now that everybody knows, it's probably a giant's going to have to use the back door or something.
Yeah, exactly.
He's like, what do you guys do?
I have to put up a ring camera or something, man.
There's too many people out there.
That's interesting because all the research I've been doing about that area,
Green Peter Reservoir keeps coming up.
And, yeah, it's something about that area.
And it is, it's massive and it is way, way out there.
It's got to take a bit of time to get out to that reservoir from Sweet Home.
Yeah, I can't remember how long it is, but it's probably, if I guess, probably like 30 to 45 minutes, depending on which part of it.
I can't remember.
But it's definitely worth it.
And there's camping, I mean, you can camp anywhere along there.
There is camp grounds, but you can also just camp anywhere.
And like summertime, it's 90 to 100, and you can swim in there.
It's awesome.
It's a cool spot.
That's great.
You would also mention a McKinsey River.
I'm guessing McKinsey Bridge area is probably close to maybe where you're talking.
I've talked to a few individuals, and that area is definitely pretty wild, but is that an area you've looked at.
into as well yourself then?
Yeah, we, my buddy
Annie, that's like his favorite place in Oregon.
And it's, there's a little town
and by town, a gas
station, a restaurant, hotel
called Rainbow.
And I think it's, it's probably
like 30 minutes from the bridge.
If you're talking about that, the old
covered bridge, is that what you're talking about?
I'm just, all I know about the area is I believe
there's a place called Ike's Pizza up there,
which used to, it's got a
cool Bigfoot mural and there used to be like a gathering that would happen up there as well.
Oh, yeah. So yeah, there's, that's pretty close to Rainbow, Oregon, which is literally nothing.
I think there's a couple cabins and then a hotel and it's literally in between two huge reservoirs
and it's right on the McKenzie River. But the reservoirs, one's Cougar Reservoir and one's Blue,
was it blue river reservoir
I forget but yeah
there's
the whole area is just
magical
like seems like some Lord of the Rings
or the elves live or something
yeah it's just beautiful
and both of those reservoirs
oh yeah Blue River Reservoir and Cougar
both of those are huge just like Green Peter
Blue River one has
or made Cougar
I forget which one's which
But Cougar has, one of them has awesome hot springs too.
And like the gas station there has bigfoot carvings and actually cast footprints above the bathroom that were cast in the hills over there.
But we actually were walking one night.
It was probably like 2 a.m.
And they had closed the reservoir road that goes around it for some reason.
And Andy and I were walking towards the hot springs.
and we just kept getting these crazy whoops
that seemed like they were coming from across the reservoir
up on the hill
but we probably walked for two hours
and we heard it probably like steady
for every five minutes
and it was like pacing us along the way
could have been a saskatch could have been anything weird
it was strange though but that whole area
It's just magical.
I found lots of tree structures and footprints.
We've been out there in the snow with snowing footprints.
It did have some weird activity in that area.
And it's just gorgeous.
And it's known for it's like people talk about it as a hot spot for Sasquatch.
Oh, so it's well known in the community in that area.
It sounds like for that activity.
Yeah.
Definitely.
Okay.
Yeah.
that is that that's good to know and of course i got to ask you just because it's an area that i'm
familiar with have you ever done any research up and down 58 like the oakridge area or going
down to odell lake or anything down there at all no but i was checking out your stuff about that
regarding that and it sounds like i need to it's bonkers yeah it sounds like it i want to check it
out. And you were saying there's another
festival or whatever going on this summer
there? Yeah, so let me bring it up real quick.
Sasquit Summerfest is this year, July 11th through
the 12th. It's going to be fantastic.
July 11th through 12th in Greenwater's Park in Oakridge,
Oregon. And listeners, if you're going to go, you can
get a two-day ticket for the cost of one.
If you use the code BFS,
ass like Bigfoot
Society but BFS
and it'll get you some off your cost
Priscilla was nice enough
to provide that for
my listeners so there you go but
yeah that whole area dude
Oakridge is
bonkers
it is absolutely wild
and I didn't even get even
any further east than Oak Ridge
I just hung out there for the time
I was out there but I was talking to
you know I've been
talking to a few individuals that whole
Bend area, Deschutes National Forest, Coltis Lake, that whole area just sounds absolutely wild.
It sounds like you've done some stuff out there as well.
Yeah, since Andy's from Ben, yeah, he has a bunch of spots that he likes to go all around there.
Never to Oak Ridge, but I definitely want to check it out and maybe I can get down to the festival.
That sounds awesome.
But yeah, basically, theoretically, it's the whole cascade range down from...
Northern California sightings all the way up to through Oregon,
all the way up through Washington,
because Mount Rainier, St. Helens, Adams,
all have crazy things happening there,
including Sasquatch and other crazy things.
The whole Cascades is just,
I think theoretically you go anywhere in that whole mountain range
and be close enough to where you could have something happen.
experience something, whether that be good or bad.
Exactly.
Yeah.
It's one of those things where, you know, you might come back a different person than when
you first went out, which is pretty much what happened to me.
There's another area that I want to talk to you about just because it's come up in my research
lately and just in a lot of interviews.
Have you ever been down to or have any knowledge about things that have happened down
in the grants pass?
Rogue River corner of the state?
No, I've heard stories, but I've never had the opportunity to go out there and look.
But hopefully, one of the days, my ultimate goal would be to be successful enough to,
with a YouTube channel and branch out maybe and not have to have a normal 9 to 5 and just be able to go out
in the woods all the time and film and have fun and try to get.
more answers to these crazy questions.
Speaking of your channel, so if we've already talked about, we mentioned it a few times,
but are there any that when you think about your channel backwards, Bigfoot, that you're like,
man, people should start here.
Like there's a certain video that is just a good one to start with or just is it one of those
where you just start at the beginning, work your way through the whole deal?
That's a good question.
some of them, like I think the ones that are about the quote unquote nest are probably the most
intense for me and I think they have the most views and there's other ones though like there's
one where it's like a found this weird teepee out in the woods could have been people made it
it was either people or Sasquatch but it was in the middle of nowhere so it'd be weird
unless someone was like making a hunting blind or I don't think younger kids would have been that far out doing that.
But you never know.
It's Oregon.
There's weird people out in the woods.
And I found, so I found this, I call the teepee thing.
And basically I felt and sounded like I was starting to get surrounded by what I thought were Bigfoot just hearing whoops and branches break and probably like two or three or at least three.
I think we're basically surrounded me
is what it felt like
and sounded like.
So that one's kind of cool.
But I think they're all cool in their own way
and they all
show what could be
or is Sasquatch evidence,
footprints or weird tree structures.
And if anything,
at least the forest is beautiful and spooky.
So if you like that,
check it out.
But I will tell everybody,
it's backwoods,
Bigfoot,
all one word, but the S is not an S, it's a Z.
So it's backfoot, backwards, Bigfoot with a Z instead of an S.
And that's the YouTube and Instagram.
And there is Facebook and TikTok, but I don't really use that as much.
Good stuff.
Again, guys, make sure, check it out.
Make sure you're subscribed.
It is a good one.
But, Nick, it has been, it's been a,
Just a privilege to have you on to chat with it.
It's always fun to talk to you guys out there that are able to just travel around the state, hit all these spots, and get really familiar with all these areas.
It's very cool to talk to you guys.
This was maybe more of an insider baseball, Bigfoot Oregon, but I think a lot of people are into that.
But thank you so much for coming on the show tonight.
Are there any ways that people can reach out and contact you?
you if they had things that they wanted to, let's say they watch your videos like, oh, I know
something about the area. I need to reach out to Nick or anything like that. Oh yeah, definitely.
I would love that. If anybody does have Oregon sightings, I would love to hear about it so I can
possibly go check out the area. That would be awesome. So I do have a Gmail and it's just backwoods,
It's bigfoot at gmail.com.
And again, that backwoods, the woods is a Z, not an S.
I probably shouldn't have done that.
I don't know why I did it, but Zs sound cool or look cool.
And then just the YouTube channel, I think, has the email on there.
And then Instagram, you could DM me, the same Backwoods Bigfoot.
And TikTok or Facebook, too.
I have a Facebook that barely has any.
anybody on their following.
So for you Facebook, folks, check it out.
So, yeah, you can get a hold of me very easily if you want to do.
Awesome.
Nick, maybe our paths might cross next year out there in Oak Ridge, who knows, but hopefully someday.
And, yeah, it's fun to have you on the show tonight.
And thanks so much, man.
Yeah, thank you, buddy.
I just want to take a few minutes to say thank you to you.

Let's go, girls.
You know what I love about, Andy?
Everything?
Well, yeah, but it's as little as 20 bucks a month.
Ooh, well, the little pink pill has always been a pretty big deal.
A really big deal.
I'd call that a good investment.
Che-chang.
