You're listening to Bigfoot Society and I'm Jeremiah Byron.
In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring you first-hand encounters from people who say they've seen something impossible.
From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to quiet farms and crowded highways, the stories come from everywhere, and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.
These are the voices of the people who've lived it.
So settle in because today you'll hear another account that just might change the way you see the woods forever.
So stay with us.
Please keep Jeremiah in your prayers as he continues his fight against cancer.
For more updates about his medical journey, please go to the Caring Bridge link in the show notes.
Thank you.
All right, Pickfoot Society.
We've got the privilege of having Sandy Russo back on.
You just heard from her yesterday, and it's about the only episode that has ever ended on a cliffhanger like that.
So we've got, there's definitely more of what's.
Sandy has experienced. We're going to get that in a minute. If you are just hearing Sandy for the
first time, I would really recommend to go back and listen to the previous day's episode because
it's about an hour and a half of the background that you need to know about what's going on.
Also, Sandy has written her encounters in a book called My Journey with a Bigfoot named Kai,
and we'll have the link to that in the show notes. So you can pick that up to read.
it for yourself for yourself but welcome back to the show sandy how are you today thank you i'm doing
great awesome and and just for uh i think one more thing this is taking place down in davy county
north carolina for a reminder but sandy you were giving me a a little summary of where we're
headed next and i was thinking of myself i was like oh i was wondering if stuff like that was going to be
part. And so this is going to get extremely interesting. So, you know, feel free to, uh, to take us
right back into it and, um, you know, starting with, with, uh, what was next on your list of events there.
So I always wondered, I always hear that, you know, they eat people's animals or kill them or
whatever. And I was always putting it out there, please don't hurt my animals. Please don't hurt my
animals but then we would hear knocks and stuff and the dogs would run towards it so
I was like I wonder if they're friends and but I didn't know at that point so when
we first started getting here we had a stray that was here and we would feed him and
his bulls started disappearing and we couldn't find them we'd go running around the
property looking for a bowl. And sometimes we'd find it. Sometimes we'd find it under the structure.
And then one time, it was totally gone and disappeared for two weeks. And then we found it in the
neighborhood under somebody's mailbox. Now, he didn't bring it there. I don't know how that got
there. But what started happening was the dogs, because we ended up having four,
three after a while, their bowl would disappear and then they would show up with a deer leg.
And this wouldn't, this would be the hoof, the bottom of the leg, and then a little bit of the
top of the leg with meat on it.
And if we didn't know, we saw that, we could look and their bowl's gone.
It was like they were trading with the big foot.
Like they would say, here, take my food.
I want to have a deer leg.
and this happened three or four times
and so I started putting it out there
I said are you friends with my dogs
because they seemed to be okay
with them being around
it was weird
and one day I walked into the cabin
and my eyes blackened
and I saw a vision
of the juvenile
Scooby-Doo, walking behind the house with Goldie in Lede.
And Goldie was looking back, like, are you coming?
And she looked like a chihuahua next to him.
And after I saw that, I was like, okay, they're friends, no problem.
So then one day we were sitting on the porch.
and we heard knocks in the woods.
And when the dogs hear them, they go running towards them.
And it's like they're going to meet a friend.
Their tails are wagging, they're happy, and they book right towards them.
So they have seen them many times, is what I'm guessing.
But one day we were sitting on the porch, and Sarah, the black one,
comes back and she's got a leaf tucked into her collar.
Now, it wasn't actually tucked into the collar.
It was pressed around the clip, which I did send you a picture of that, Jeremiah.
It was the cutest thing.
She looked like a little princess, and it made us laugh.
And so I think it was just a high from them.
We're still here because I'm always asking them for signs, you know, of them being around.
And sometimes they're good and sometimes they're not because they have a sense humor.
But in the winter one time, I was going to the bathroom and I could see, because we have this little slot.
It's no door.
So when you're sitting, you can actually look out the window.
And I'm looking at the window and I see a furry tree.
It was gray.
And I was like, huh, I don't remember a tree that big being there.
And I'm like, so two seconds later, there's a big whack behind me.
and I was like, okay, I guess you're fine.
Scared me, I was in the right place.
And then the next sign in the spring,
because we don't hear from them as much as we did in the first year.
I mean, we had so much activity here.
I mean, every day for a month, they sat with us at night.
but so we don't really sit out anymore in the middle of our yard so i said to steve you know i've been
asking him i don't i don't know what's going on i hope they're okay and i get up in the morning
and i go to feed the chickens and there is next to a log we had had a big log that we had we were
drying out next to the chicken coop and right next to that was a big pile of
a poop.
Not, it looked like human, but it was bigger.
And the pile was bigger than cows, I swear.
Huge, huge plot.
And I was like, why?
Why would they do that?
And he goes, weren't you asking for a sign?
He starts laughing.
Not that.
But I was like, okay.
that was nice
good job
thanks for the sign
but there was also
there is a
when I was writing my book
I was going to the library a lot
because I love off-grid
and I was
I write my book
in you know like journal form
in my phone
and then I go to
the library and type it out
and I was there
I did and an elder gentleman
asked me if I could help
him. So I had my book up and I went to his computer to help him. He sat in mind. We started
reading my book. Didn't say anything. So I helped him. Then we're getting ready to leave and I,
we went outside and he leans into me and he says, they're on my property too. I said, what?
He goes, I had big foot too. I said, you do? And he starts to scrub. And he starts to scratch.
the ones that he has on his property, which were the same as what I have.
I was like, oh, my goodness.
So he said there was a black one, but I had never seen a black one.
Well, I mean, sometimes they just tell me in my mind what colors they are, whatever,
or I see visions of them.
So I knew Oda Ali was a brown.
I knew Kai was gray.
I knew his son was gray.
But I didn't really know the colors of the other ones.
And the man said that he had a gray, a black, and some brown ones too.
And I was like, oh, that's so weird.
And the female is his connection.
she will actually bang on his door and he goes and puts food out for her.
And I was like, oh my gosh, are you kidding me?
I mean, he's like, as a crow flies, he's like two miles away from me.
I was like, oh, my goodness.
I said, I wonder if they're the same ones.
He goes, I think they are.
And he said that he believes they live near him.
I said, I know they don't live near me.
There's nowhere.
There's nowhere.
And so, but he had, we ended up becoming friends and he tells me things on occasion.
He actually saw them hunting.
And they made this little trap.
So they have a little hole in the fence where the deer go through.
And he said that he was driving down the road.
And he said that the deer walked into that space.
He said, and then she rose.
And then she went limp.
And he said that he was, like he couldn't move.
He was stuck where he was.
He said it was like a couple minutes before he, like, came to be able to move again.
And when he did, they were gone.
And I said, that is so weird.
But the reason I tell you that is because
it was a few months later that I had a dream
and in my dream was a black
Sasquatch
like introducing himself I guess
but I knew his name was Blackie
as soon as I saw him I knew it
I don't know how I knew it but I knew it
so he is with them
and he's a short-haired
the rest of them are half longer
like Odialli has
like a medium hair
Kai's got long hair, and so does this one.
So I have met four of them, but I know there's more because I've seen them.
So, but that is that is that.
And now I would like to move on to my actual encounter.
Sure.
Well, I was, we got up in the morning and it was very quiet in yard.
and there was no dogs.
And I was like, where the hell are the dogs?
So we're calling them, and usually they come.
They didn't.
And we were drinking coffee, so I said, well, let's have our coffee and then we'll look.
So Steve went up to the neighbors, and their dogs were gone too.
So I said, well, they're having a party in the field somewhere.
I said, I'll take a ride down there or walk down there.
so I'm yelling for Tucker
because just as I was starting to leave
here comes Goldie and Sarah
and I'm like still the neighbor's dogs are gone
and Tucker's gone
so I'm walking down I'm yelling
Tucker Tucker I get down to the bottom
of the road which leads into the field
and I look to my right
and there is the biggest
black dog
I have ever seen
it was as soon as I got down there, the energy changed.
And everything was in like slow motion,
and all of a sudden I felt like I had a drink in me.
I was so relaxed, so laxed easy.
And I'm looking at this dog,
and it turns into like slow motion.
And for a quick minute,
it was like I had
telescope eyes. Did you ever see
Twilight?
Oh, sure.
There is a part where Bella wakes up
and everything is micro,
what do you call it, magnified?
Yep.
That's what it looked like.
Okay.
I was looking, I could see follicles,
that's how close I got.
And I'm looking at this dog
and it's got the longest tail
and it's
I don't think I've ever seen a tail that long
but it was as big as a pony
it was huge
and it's galloping
it wasn't
it wasn't like a regular dog
but I guess if I had to guess
what kind of a dog it kind of looked like
would be the dog daddy's dogs
the black ones
it is like a black shirt German Shepherd
okay
it was
way bigger
and I'm looking at this dog
and I was like
and I look away from the dog
and to my right
there's brown cows
is what I saw
and I'm like
the neighbor
the farmer doesn't have brown cows
he has black cows
but I was so interested
in the dog I turned from
what I thought
was the cows.
And I'm just watching him, and he's just going, galloping away, goes into the high grass and
goes into the woods.
And I was like, what is that?
I'm yelling, Steve, come see this dog.
And I turn to where those brown colles are.
And I'm really looking at them.
And slowly I noticed that they're not cows.
There was two and they were both crouched.
One was kind of sitting on the haunches kind of thing.
And the other one had her hands in front of her and she was just kind of leaning forward.
I was like, what am I looking at?
It's not a cow?
Is it a cow?
And I really, all of a sudden, the magnifying glass comes back.
And I zoom into her face.
And this Bigfoot has the most kindest eyes.
She's got like a little button nose that was wide.
She had a orange tough of hair on her.
conical head and her eyes were golden and I could see her eyelashes this is how close I got in my eyes
and she had like smiley eyes like she was just like you're seeing me and I just kind of go down her
face and she's smiling and she didn't move a muscle she let me look
And she had so much joy in her face that I finally saw her.
Now, I did not, besides seeing the color of the other one, I did not really see her
because I was concentrating on who I know was Oda Ali.
And she was so beautiful.
It was just the coolest moment of my life to actually see her.
And the rest of her was like a burgundy chocolate, gorgeous color.
And I turned away from them for just a second to see where Steve was.
And I looked back and they're gone.
It was just the coolest thing I'd ever experienced.
and when I think back
I'd ask them to give me calming energies
when I saw them
and to please show themselves in the field
and that's exactly what they did
and I saw them
now what was she doing down there
I didn't know at that time
I did know after
because the next day
I decided to
go down there
and see if I could find
footprints or anything of signs that they were actually there.
And you have to go under a fence, under like a barbed wire fence, and then down the little hill.
And when I got down there, the grass was over my head.
It was tall, and I could see her.
So she was big.
But there's a little book down there, and I was walking towards it because there's mud there.
And I thought, hmm, maybe I'll see some footprints.
So I made it, I'm almost out of the grass.
And I hear running in the brook.
And of course, you freeze.
You're like, what is that?
And a million things go through your head.
Now, is it the dogs?
No, it sounds like a little kid running in there.
And I was like, what is going on?
And I'm like, don't just stand here?
because they're running towards me.
And I'm like, do I say something?
And then I thought about it,
and I was like, this could turn real ugly.
And I said, hey, I'm out here.
The brakes instantly went on.
I stopped running.
And I was like, I'm sorry.
I didn't mean to scare you.
I just wanted you to know I was here.
So I got brave to stick my head into the brook
Because the brook has brush on both sides
So it's like a tunnel
So you can't see anybody in there
Unless you go to the cow path
And look down it
And I peaked in and I didn't see anything
So I was like, okay
I have a feeling that's a small one
And I think I need to get out of here
because who knows what's going to happen.
So I'm backing out and I'm like, I'm leaving.
You're okay.
I'm okay.
Backing out of there.
And when I got far enough, I turned around and walked out.
Instantly, I knew this is where Oda Ali brings her baby to cool off
because nobody can see her.
And they can play in there.
And then I never went back down there again because I knew that's what she did.
and I didn't want to bother them.
So that was the last time that I went down there.
But I had C'd go down there and his head was just popping out of the grass.
And I saw from her elbows up and she was squatting.
So she's pretty big.
So but that is, I think you've got it all now, Jeremiah.
That is incredible.
How tall would you estimate that she is then?
Because you have like the height of the grass?
Well, Steve is 6-3, I think.
And his head was just sticking out.
So I don't know how tall a head is.
But then she's beyond, I don't know how tall she is,
but she's definitely over 8 feet, I think.
Okay, yeah, sure.
Wow, that is incredible how you asked for those certain things, and that's what they did.
That's probably one of the coolest parts of that.
It's just fascinating.
I was very lucky not to have that encounter.
You know, I hear a lot of them on your store.
But some of the things I hear, I realize that they're joking, like because Bigfoot's have sense of humors.
And, you know, people are afraid of it, but, and that's why I feel the.
need to just comment in there and I said, I just think they're joking with you.
Gotcha.
But, yeah.
Based, so you're, I'm trying to, how do I say this real quick?
So, you could tell definitely it was Odle-A-Lolly female by the way that her head looked,
or could you tell like muscle structure as well with the rest of the body?
Could you tell anything like that?
No, I wasn't really, it's funny.
I wasn't trading on it.
I was just basically seeing her face and her shoulders kind of, but she's big.
She was, her shoulders were definitely like a football person.
It was like she was getting ready to tackle.
That's kind of the position she was said.
But cool.
That's absolutely beautiful.
Was, I don't think you mentioned this, but was Otolali showing teeth at all?
No.
Okay.
Nope, no teeth.
He just kept it very friendly.
Okay.
Yeah, I didn't see anything.
I seen Kai's teeth, but I have never seen her.
And when was, when did this happen again, this encounter?
This happened.
I'm going to say in the fall last year.
The fall of 2025?
I think so.
Yeah, okay, okay.
Do you feel that this,
because this is a pretty big deal having this face to face.
Oh, and remind me how far away it was you would estimate,
how far you guys were apart?
50 yards.
Okay.
So, I mean, this is a really big deal to have a face-to-face encounter like this.
Did it affect the interactions between you and Steve and the Bigfoot family group after this?
Did you notice anything different?
No.
Wow.
No.
No.
I mean, since the first year, you know, and all that stuff, it was like maybe even two years of stuff,
that was just constantly joking with us and just doing silly stuff to us.
and aggravating Steve, they just kind of grew out of that, I think.
And they still say hi.
Like, you know, that was when they tucked that leaf into her collar,
that was kind of like a high kind of thing.
You know, so they let us know they're still around.
They haven't, they've only smacked this house once,
and they did it near the piping.
It made a tinny noise.
But the other one, they used to smack a little more.
But usually it was like a thank you.
Like after I gave Scooby-Doo those crunchy treats,
he came and smacked the house,
and then he dragged his nails down the back of the house.
They don't reply to me like we do.
You know, they do things.
They do weird things.
And they think that that's, that's it, that's good.
Do you think that, does it, in your conversations with your neighbor that you met at the library that lives close to you, does it sound like he has had interactions with Odlellia as well?
Oh, he definitely has.
Is that the female then?
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah, he, that is his friend, you know, like Kai's my friend.
you know and i i went through kai for a lot of things now i think i've got a little bit of a relationship
with the old jolly if she was the one that came but i don't i don't uh i don't know but she knocks on
his door she wants food and he'll go out and give it to her but uh he's he's definitely had some
weird things over there isn't it interesting this isn't the case all the time but i'm just
just thinking through all the conversations that I've had.
And so often it seems like there's the one individual that has the interaction with the human.
And usually it's like if let's say I'm a male human and I'm having interaction with the big foot on my property or something like that.
And it's extended.
The one that's going back and forth would be a female or if I was a female, the one would be a male.
And I don't know what that means, but there's a lot of the time it seems to be like the opposite sex would be the one that does the interactions with the human.
I don't know.
I don't know what to think about it, to be honest.
Yeah, I don't either.
I have to that myself.
And I mean, I have heard of people having relationships with there was a guy that was writing in to Nance.
and if you
interactions with one
male and they were like buddies
right
you know so I mean
there is situations
where the males
do reach out to the males
but they're usually weird situations
of how it happens
interesting
but maybe them help
yeah but I don't know why he chose
me and
I and the only reason I can think of is because I am a sensitive and he thought I would be easier
to talk to but they say that Bigfoot will reach out to people that are going back to nature
kind of thing oh really okay trying to have some connection with nature yeah I mean that
would make sense right yeah yeah he you know you know
I made a small orchard and I have a peach tree.
And then one year we had lots and lots of peaches on the tree.
And we were just picking them as we wanted to eat them
because I had already canned tons of peaches.
And I was like, I don't need any more.
So I was giving them away.
And I just, I was talking to something and they'd say,
well, let's you see if the Bigfoot one.
I said out loud one night before we went to bed,
I said, hey, Kai, I said, we have a lovely peach tree.
It's got lots of beautiful peaches on it and they're ready to eat.
So it would give me great joy if you would pick all the top, leave the bottom for us.
Jeremiah, the next day, that tree was picked clean off the top.
Oh, fascinating. Wow. Okay.
Yeah.
So, but I've offered, like, cucumbers, they don't want them.
Of course, when you're playing cucumbers, you get so many of them.
And I left them hanging around, see if they'd take them, and nope, they didn't want them.
So, and they don't seem to want cantaloupe or watermelon, though they did step on one of my watermelons and crack it like an egg.
Oh, I bet.
But they left it there.
They didn't take it.
So I'm guessing it was an accident.
because they usually wait till we offer.
And then I'll say you can have these or you can have that.
But I haven't found, it's weird.
I would think they would like more vegetables.
How was it that you knew that it was one of the Bigfoot that stepped on the watermelon?
Because it was cracked like an egg.
Okay.
It was, there's no way that any of the animals around here could do that.
And I knew I didn't do it.
Right, right.
There's nobody.
We live so far away from people, you know, that we're out of the way.
You know, there's a neighborhood up on a hill over there.
But you have to go come down a hill to get to us and then go up another hill.
So nobody would just be wandering around here.
Yeah, that makes sense.
Like I said before, Jeremiah, there's just weird things that happen.
And it's like me and Steve are in our own little world down here.
And there's sometimes no explanation, but they had to have done it.
Because I don't know who else would.
Right.
Going back to your encounter for a minute, what are your thoughts about what you saw before you saw Oda Lally?
What did I think first?
I thought it was cows.
Oh, sorry, you saw the, it looked like a big dog.
What do you think was going on there?
I have no explanation except that was possibly a dog.
Did you say dog man?
Sorry.
Yeah, I was too big.
I've never, ever seen that dog around here,
and I've never seen a dog that big, ever.
So then it just opens more questions.
Like, are they friends?
What she's saying still because that thing was,
round.
I have a lot of questions, but I have no answers.
And, man, I don't get a lot into dog man, but I'll tell you, like, I know of a few areas
that I can't really get into, but there are areas where there are, it's almost like
there's a group of Bigfoot, and then there's a dividing line, and there's a group of Dogman.
and it's like they can't cross into their areas.
It's very, very interesting.
So I don't know if that's something where you're experiencing that,
and maybe you just haven't seen a lot of the dog man yet,
which I think would probably be okay.
How we knew that I was trying to take pictures.
And, of course, the Bigfoot are very, do not want pictures.
They don't want them.
But I had gotten a night vision, Godless.
And sometimes we're sitting out here and they'll just look because I want to see if I can see them.
And one day I saw a dog face real tall up in the trees kind of thing.
And it was in night vision, of course, but it looked brown and with some tan in it.
but then when I tried to take a picture, the camera, the pictures came out black.
So I don't know what that was, and it could not be verified.
But I don't wonder if they, you know, they go out of the territory for a while,
and these things come in.
They feel like they share, but they leave at certain seasons.
I don't know.
I just don't.
But they have not.
I mean, we had one scary night where we heard dwelling.
And it sounded like some kind of dog, but it was deeper.
And we actually, they were scared.
But that was the only time that we heard that.
Wow.
How has the spring been of this year?
Did anything happen during the spring?
Well, that that leaf thing just happened in knocking
Okay
But it's not
You know Steve had that
A popping noise
And the sand was all around the same tongue
But it's not
It's not
They're not as messing
But that's like they used to
I mean on occasion our fan will go off
Or you know
And we, of course, we always try to think of logical ways.
Why?
Sometimes there's not any.
You know, like the whole house will go out.
And we'll think, ah, that generator died.
And then we'll look and it's still 50%.
And I'm like, well, why do you go up?
Wow.
We don't know.
Just, you know, that kind of stuff still happens, but very minimal now.
and we get signs of highs kind of things
I feel like it is
but it's not
it's not like it was
it's just like we exist together
you know and they were very gracious
to let me see them
and I hope that they let them again
absolutely
I would love to see Kai
I mean I've seen him in that vision
and he's gorgeous
And he's got really long hair, and he's just so beautiful.
And I would really like to see him.
And, of course, I had my shot, and I blew it.
Right.
Because I was afraid.
But you did get to see Oto Lolly, though, which is fantastic.
But, yeah, I get that.
That would be a thing where I'd be like, well, maybe I can see Kai too, you know.
So your area, I'm thinking of our conversation.
And so you've got your interactions, the family with the young child that was saying monster into the woods.
And then you've got this other gentleman who's having interactions a few miles away.
Have you looked to see if this area in Davy County just there's a lot of people that are having interactions or those?
the only ones that you've heard of so far in your area?
I was actually listening to Pine Box Tales.
Not quite a while ago, actually.
It was like when I first started,
and there was a group of kids that had a sleepover,
and they were out in the yard,
and something started messing with them,
and they went out, and there was a great softwage out there.
And they all ran into the house.
I don't know if it chase them or whatever, but
they,
when,
you know,
when I hear gray,
I say,
okay,
was that Kai?
What is that?
Scooby-Doo?
You know,
is that part of the family?
So many questions.
But,
and that was right in Davy County,
too.
I don't know how far she lives.
Okay,
so that's cool.
So that's cool.
So you definitely know it's the same county.
That's awesome.
Wow.
Yep.
Yeah.
I'm always alert when I hear a story of, you know, somebody's experience in the same county.
Absolutely.
I would be as well.
What do you think the most important lesson you've learned interacting with this family over the years has been?
God's got to be patience.
They teach so much.
I mean, all throughout the whole thing, me and see, felt like,
It was a learning lesson.
The whole thing.
It was just, you know, they'd take our tools and they'd hide them.
And we'd have to have patience because even if we needed it,
and we had to go looking for it.
And sometimes we had a rape that was missing for weeks.
And it just showed up again.
So I don't know what they needed it for, but I guess they borrowed it.
So I think they borrow things and then they bring them back.
But they do seem to like bowls and pans and that kind of stuff,
which I'm sure they get water with maybe.
But I found out I gave the dogs my big rice pot
because I didn't know if the dogs were lifting it
or if they were lifting it, I have no idea.
but they
seem to stop trading
which is good
but I leave them
but I bought
a case of
the mixed nuts they were on sale
after Christmas and I got them for a buck a piece
and I just dumped them out behind the shed
on a pile of wood and they
come and get them
and
I don't know if the squirrels take them too
but there's no way they could get into some
of them.
Those Brazilian nuts are super hard.
But they seem to come and scoop them up.
I've got one more bag left.
But I haven't given them pork brines in a while,
so I was thinking about buying them a bag.
I agree.
The things that I hear,
I mean, I hear everything from, like,
pork rind things to a lot of, like, candy bars.
I love candy bars.
I hear that all the time.
Scott Carpenter would talk about that a lot from Tennessee.
Yeah.
but if you have let's say if there's people that are listening well i know there's people
that are listening and they have they're starting to have uh things happen similar to years
uh where they might be noticing around things around their property or seeing things or even
you know experiencing uh things like um you know visions uh do you have any advice
for people that are starting to get into situations like that.
Yes, don't panic.
And you're not crazy.
This stuff happens.
And it's just welcome it.
They will be so open with you and they will start being little jokesters.
Don't be afraid of it.
I mean, I'm not going to say that we weren't afraid at some points if you listen to the story.
you'll know we were and when we got a little nervous we went in the house and then it was kind
of like a reset for the next day and don't if you're going to feed them don't sustain them just
think of it as a Costco sample when we first started leading things I would take maybe 20
pork rinds and I'd stick them on the little nubby brand
you know, the branches.
And I was just poke them in.
And then they'd all be gone.
They'd go and try them.
But what I noticed is that after they accepted their little place where they get their
things, nobody touches it.
If they haven't been around in days, those little nubs will stay there.
And you know there's other little animals that have got to love them.
Not even the bugs are on them.
and that is a very wild thing, I think, to find nothing else touches it.
It'll stay.
But I have given them, when I cleaned out my pantry, I gave them dried fruits and almonds.
And they left the almonds for a long time.
That was just kind of weird to me.
Eventually they took them.
They must have liked them.
I have a whole other case of almonds for them,
but I was going to wait until I thought maybe they would appreciate them
because I don't know.
Maybe they didn't.
But if they were smart, they'd bring them and stick them in for winter.
Right.
In a bag, buddy.
Exactly.
Yeah, that's funny.
It's just a fascinating account of what you guys have learned over the years,
what you're experiencing, what your neighbors are experiencing,
and it's just the whole thing together
is a really, really beautiful
story.
I hope that you're
still able to, you know,
have experiences in the future. It sounds
like you're wanting those to happen and maybe you'll have
even, you'll be
even able to see Kai,
which would be fantastic,
but...
It takes time to build trust with them.
Absolutely. Yes.
That is a great reminder because
I think so many,
people including myself are like oh yeah you know if i go out one one weekend um a year because that's what
i can do in an area i'm going to have this but no it's like it a lot of the time you have to take
the time to build the relationship and have them get comfortable with you and that's just what i'm
getting from different conversations i've had but uh you're absolutely right it's not you have to put
the time in for sure yep that's for sure
I mean, just going out in the woods, you could be getting one that's not very nice.
Oh, that's true.
I didn't think of that before.
You just get in the one that's like, all right, let's go get them.
And they're not all good.
And if you get a bunch of people that are looking for trouble,
which is usually what's out there when people look and go buy some land with, you know,
some woods around it and sit and wait.
There you go.
Yeah, some, some woods, bonus points.
If it's got some sort of water source or a really curvy creek that goes through it, that comes up a lot.
The creek, the creek that curves comes up a ton in different accounts.
But Sandy, I want to make sure that we were able to, it sounds like you were able to share everything that you had.
prepared for your your encounter so far. Is that correct?
I think you've got everything.
Awesome. And I'm still out, it's journals. So if more things happen, I'll give you a buzz.
Fantastic. I do have a going off grid, the Sandy and Steve TikTok and YouTube.
But I will tell you that I don't put Bigfoot stuff on there. It's mostly about being off grid.
Okay.
Minder is the Bigfoot stuff is in the book that you have released.
Oh, you want all the details.
Definitely read the book.
Right.
I mean, it's on off.
It's about four hours long.
It's not long.
But it's kind of cool.
They put sound effects in it and love it.
Oh, nice.
To check that out for sure.
Wow.
Amazon.
Good stuff.
I'll have all those links in in the show notes, Sandy.
And thank you so much for spending some time with me over,
the last few days. It's been fun chatting with you. And I think, I know my listeners will learn a
ton from this, habituation stories you can learn so much from. So, thank you so much. I do
really appreciate you hanging out with me today, Sandy.
Sure. I love talking. Before we wrap this episode, I want to say something directly to a very
specific group of listeners. If you're in the military, any branch or forces, and if you've
seen something that no one can explain, or if you're a national park ranger or forestry worker
who's been told to stay quiet, if you're a pilot who's seen something strange down on the
ground, or if you're with the FBI, a federal agency, or working intelligence, and you've stumbled
upon something you're not allowed to talk about, and if you're a firefighter, paramedic,
or search and rescue responder, who's heard screams or found tracks that didn't make sense,
if you're in the logging industry on a remote oil field or trucker with government contracts
and you've had something happen that you've never told a soul.
And if you're a biologist, a wildlife specialist, or a field researcher under contract
who has found evidence you're not allowed to report,
if you're a pastor, a missionary, or someone on a spiritual retreat,
and you saw something that shook your faith,
or if you work in the shadows, CIA, NSA, or anything with clearance,
and you've seen what the public hasn't,
then I want to talk to you.
Even if it's anonymous,
