Head on over to patreon.com forward slash the Bigfoot Society. And now let's get on with the show. I've got Slea from Montana, originally from Washington State.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Awesome. And Slea is a Patreon member, so it is awesome to hang out with her. We have also Jersey here. Jersey is from Oklahoma. Are you really? Originally. I thought you were from New Jersey, but I spent most of my life in Oklahoma. I live in Seattle right now. My husband's in the military, so we moved around a lot. Okay, cool.
Starting point is 00:02:42 That's good, no, I didn't know you had Oklahoma background. That's really cool. Let's take a few minutes. This is the last day of the festival. It's Sunday morning, and we are in Greenwater's Park, and there, let's see, there's multiple tent setups in back of us where the weekend campers have been hanging out. So, Slay and Jersey have a sweet tent setup,
Starting point is 00:03:04 and table and chairs. And then there's vendors over there and the amphitheater where the speaking has been going on. But, Slay, what are some cool things that are you experienced during the festival the last few days? I really enjoyed walking around and just recognizing people that I've never met in person or talked to in person and been able to just walk up to them and start a conversation or ask them questions that I've always wanted to ask. and I had them one-on-one, so there was a lot of time to just talk to people without a big crowd. Just seeing all the homemade gifts and things that people were selling here. That was really fun. I think we both, Jersey and I have both purchased some things,
Starting point is 00:03:51 and there's one tent that I really loved. They have a bunch of leather, raw leather, and then they have a bunch of the things that you can pound into the leather, or like letters and pictures and you can make your own or you can purchase theirs. And so that was a fun place to go because it was like a do-it-yourself. The speakers every day at the amphitheater, I've learned so much. I've learned so much in the last couple days that I didn't know. And so that made it really fun and interesting. And everybody's just chill and easy to hang out with.
Starting point is 00:04:23 That's awesome. Did you have any thoughts of stuff that you thought was cool from the festival of Jersey? Yes, absolutely, because I'm a newbie to all this. So I have learned a whole lot and it's made me a believer. And I didn't realize paranormal kind of came into this as well because I've had some paranormal experiences as well. But now I really want to go Sasquatch hunting because of this. Yeah, totally. It has been a really eye-opening weekend.
Starting point is 00:04:55 We have a ton of different speakers. You've got everyone from Cliff Berkman to Todd Nice. We got Jason Kenzie, who's a great individual. Chad Datma, also from searching for Sasquatch. Gwendolyn Guthrie, Tobes Johnson. I heard most of his, and that was really fun. Dr. J. Robert Alley, we shared a bunk bed in the Airbnb. He's an incredibly smart individual.
Starting point is 00:05:19 And Christy Sanders was there, too, individual. That is so smart when it comes to Bigfoot. And a lot of people might not have heard the name before, and more people need to. Yeah, last night, the Sierra Sound's hike happened. across the river, that was cool. It was intense, like they had speakers out in the forest, and there was Sierra Sounds, but there's a lot of people having fun, also taking pictures,
Starting point is 00:05:43 lighting, and Jason was making sure people could take cool pictures, but just across the river, that's the forest of Oak Ridge, and there are multiple sightings that have actually happened over there that I've been talking to residents about over the last five months. So it's a paved path, but like you still have to be careful. It's still stuff out there. I've always believed my entire life, I've always believed the Sasquatcharreal, just because I've always lived in the Pacific Northwest,
Starting point is 00:06:15 always heard of people hearing certain things or seeing something. And in my heart, I felt like they exist, so I don't need proof. But I still enjoy hearing everybody else's encounters and research. and I'm learning so much. And I knew eventually I would meet everybody that I follow on Instagram or listen to in podcasts. And so this is my first festival. And I'm just checking off who I've met. And I can't wait for the next festival, honestly.
Starting point is 00:06:49 Absolutely. I mean, for first festival, like, they've been doing a really good job. I hope they do this again. The town seems to be really behind it and super excited as this is at least an hour outside of Eugene, the Willamette National Forest. but were you able to hear any encounters? Todd talked about his encounter, and I know everybody has heard that. Tob talked about their happenings at Almond Lab, his in-person experiences. And I think, yeah, Gwen, she talked about the cryptid that she saw, the dogman, which freaked me out.
Starting point is 00:07:27 I think they probably all shared their encounters. Cliff did touch on the thermal cam, that's right. So I think they all touched on it. I didn't hear all the speakers. I didn't get to listen to them from beginning to end. But yeah, I have been asking people if they've had encounters also so I can hear them in person. That's awesome. How has the food been here?
Starting point is 00:07:55 Can you talk about the food selection at the festival? But what have you experienced food-wise in Oak Ridge? So I attended the pizza little tent over there and we got a pepperoni and that was good. And then there was a hot dog vendor over there as well and I got the hot dogs. We saw the shaved ice but we haven't made it over there yet. But today we definitely will. But that's all I've experienced. But the hot dogs were good.
Starting point is 00:08:24 The pizza was great. Check back in about the icies. I'm thinking about putting some rum in it. That's awesome. It's easier for me. There's stuff that I want to talk about personally, but I came over, one, to hang out with you guys, but too, like it'll be easier to have people present to share while I talk about stuff. So what I ended up doing was at my booth. The map of the area, I went to the bike shop, and they gave me a really detailed map, front and back, so two copies. And I put it at the booth and had people start to mark the area of the area of, and they gave me a really detailed map, uh, front and back, so two copies. And I put it at the booth and had people start to mark the area of, Oak Ridge and it's filled up considerably and there's been some really interesting things that have come in yesterday. First day wasn't really any locals. Yesterday a ton of locals came in and marking spots where they've had visual sightings. Weird things happen in the I think it's called Middle Fork Ranger District as what the map says but there's some weird things that I want to
Starting point is 00:09:25 share with you guys. Just there's so one thing is it just gentleman from the town came in. We're going to talk more later, but he's been into this and track casting since the 90s. And he used to work at the Chevron in town. And this Native American gentleman would come in annually once to the gas station to get to gas up in his way through out to Summit Lake. And he had a big foot sticker on his car. And so this gentleman that was pumping gas for him would be like, hey, so have you seen the big guy just being funny and and nice and the Native American gentleman would be like, actually, we head out to Summit Lake as a group to summon the three Sasquatch. And that brought up a lot of questions for me that
Starting point is 00:10:14 this individual did not have the answers to just because he was pumping gas and it was a very quick interaction. But he had this interaction multiple times over the years. And there was one year in particular where he asked, hey, how is the summoning of the Sasquatch going? And he said, year not so good because they were pretty aggressive and so it's one of those stories where you don't hear all the details but you're like what's happening over there a lot of stuff on the lot of times on the podcast people call in about Spirit Lake and I found out that area actually has more than Sasquatch sightings going on it's over by Waldo Wilderness and every night about dusk and when it gets
Starting point is 00:10:53 dark all the sticks go to the middle of the lake and then start they make a circle and they start going around in a circle and I've had multiple hunters from the area that have been hunting there in that area or hiking that can confirm that yes they've seen this happen so now we've got things like not even Sasquatch but also high strangest things and it's I've made a joke a few times it kind of has a gravity falls feeling to it but there's an anonymous report that I want to share with you you both that has really It's very strange. There was an individual that was hanging around the booth and his friend had pretty much forced him to come over.
Starting point is 00:11:36 There's been a lot of that. And so he was just not really saying a lot. And he said that there's an area in the Oakridge area out in the woods and the service roads. There's a lake out there where his buddy was hunting elk out there and looking through his scope, high-powered rifle. and he saw a family of Sasquatch. The Sasquatch noticed him pointing a gun at them with a scope, and they got out of there. It's not too long afterwards.
Starting point is 00:12:09 He noticed loud noises coming towards him through the tree line on either side of where he was at, right? So at that point, he got very freaked out, and he immediately left using his truck. He left his gun there, his high-powered, rifle there his backpack everything went back to town told his buddies what's going on I need help get your guns we're going back I need to get my gun it was worth a lot of money when they get back to the area the gun is on the ground the scope looks like a huge hand
Starting point is 00:12:47 has gone around it and just crushed it in a way so that the glass on either side of the scope is popped out and broken the The rifle barrel is bent. Yeah, in a way. And it's almost like, so the rifle barrel was bent. And then it feels like from what he said, it was like, something tried to discharge it. And the rest of the gun just kind of blew apart because the rifle was bent.
Starting point is 00:13:16 And then it just exploded. But the thing is, is that there was blood on certain parts of the gun. Right. So they, so they, he's like, I think they hurt themselves. So this individual. his buddy took the gun and oh his backpack was shredded just everything torn apart so they he takes the gun keeps it in a plastic bag in his house for years he decides somehow he gets a connection with the smithsonian and tells them about what's going on and says i would love to send this to you
Starting point is 00:13:51 for you guys to test it and so they set up a way for them to send it in and the gun supposedly never makes there. And if I had heard that account by myself, it's one of the most intense accounts I've ever heard. And the thing is that an individual that I had been really involved with over the last few days with the festival immediately came over and said, did he tell you that all is true? And then another individual came over that is involved with the town and said, did that guy talk to you yet? And I was like, yeah, I mean, I were, I don't even know what his, I didn't even ask for his name. And he was like, I'm not going to give it. And I respect that.
Starting point is 00:14:34 But, yeah, multiple people, hunters, previous law enforcement have verified that, yeah, that is an actual true story. And I wouldn't have, I don't know if I had believed it unless I had taken it personally. So that is, I don't know, do you, what do you think about, what do you think about that? I don't think he would have given that. encounter unless you were here in person, so I'm really glad you're traveling now. But also, I can only imagine the amount of DNA that was left on that gun, especially if he just stored it in a bag. And as soon as you said, they had a contact with the Smithsonian, and I knew they had to rest that story. It was going to end up missing. And it's just, it's a tragedy because if it had happened
Starting point is 00:15:17 in current day, they could have easily sent it off to Darby-Oercut with North Carolina State and done a no-cost DNA study, but this was years ago, and this was before Darby stepped forward and started that study. So it's unfortunate, but the amount of, there's a gentleman that was camping for the festival way out in the woods on service roads. Very cool guy, I believe his name is Kent, and he was sharing with me how the same day yesterday, 7.07 a.m. He woke up and was immediately
Starting point is 00:15:52 there were knocks around his campsite and then the sound of rock clacking. And he's like, yeah. I was like, what is going on? And then another local guy, July 13th, which is like a week or so ago, he was like, I was on mile marker
Starting point is 00:16:08 42, driving out of Oak Ridge on 58, and I look over and there is there's a guardrail above a culvert and there's a That's just like has both his hands on the guardrail and I see his back, but he's like holding on to the guardrail and then as I drive by, he just launches himself up the side of the mountain. That was a very interesting encounter. Did I tell you about the campers in Diamond Peak Wilderness? Okay, there's this guy. There's this guy and his wife who were tent camping and
Starting point is 00:16:43 they wake up the next morning and that their tent had been ripped to shred. while they were in it. And the tent... Didn't wake up? Well, and it gets weirder because they said the tent was covered with urine and there's a quart of urine on the top of the tent. And so he sees it, his partner sees it and they're like, immediately, like, we're out here.
Starting point is 00:17:06 They were way out in this wilderness area. So that was crazy. There's another gentleman who was up north of that and he was working at a resort. There's an evacuation so the company asked, can you? stay with the resort, make sure no one loots it. So he's there all alone. And then he says what he, and he, this is not a bigfoot guy, just a local guy. He's like, I heard what I can only say sounded like an elk bugle that then transitioned into gibberish language. And then later that night, I was trying to go to sleep. And there was a ground hit that sounded like someone took a 2,000 pound
Starting point is 00:17:48 wrecking ball and just smashed it into the ground. And immediately he's like, I'm, I'm gone. I'm just out of here. Those, the map is, I'm going to take time to really analyze. There's probably a good 30, 30 of things over there and people have been coming over and talking. And it's really, I think every festival I go to from here on out, I will be doing that because it really allows people from the area you're in to figure out, yeah, there's stuff going on in this area. Starting point is 00:20:02 I would say a good 95% of the things on the map are not, like we were saying earlier, they're not on BFRO, they're not on any of the websites. People in Oak Ridge just do not talk about their big foot encounters unless it's a face-to-face thing. And they, I think there's a feeling of trust there. They're not going to just call up an organization and be like, yeah, we got weird stuff going on. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah, they probably don't need the
Starting point is 00:20:38 yeah. They know it's here and it's going to keep going on and they probably don't want big crowds or yeah. Jersey, do you have any thoughts about the Bigfoot activity you've heard around this area and things like that? I mean,
Starting point is 00:20:56 it's crazy. Pretty much. I just, I want to experience it, but I don't want to be, I don't want to be in a situation where they're aggressive. I just want to, I want to hang out with them. But it's crazy all these stories that people have. And when I was going to bed at night here, knowing that these people experienced this stuff, I just would listen closely out in the woods just to hear. And also what I think is really weird.
Starting point is 00:21:30 And I don't know if you all don't think this is weird that we're out in the middle of nowhere in nature. Why am I not hearing a lot of birds and wildlife? That's what's weird to me. Are they that close by? I don't know. Yeah, that's a good point. There are times, like I've been able to go in the woods a little bit here. And there are times when it has gotten extremely quiet to the point where I've never experienced it before.
Starting point is 00:22:01 and just every a lot of witnesses will say that to me and now I've experienced it and it's just like nothing it's just dead quiet to the point where it's like you can't hear yourself like you can hear yourself think but it feels weird to have that kind of silence and you're just like I don't like this I want to hear a bird and then you start hearing a bird chirp but it's half a bird chirp and it's what dwayne and ronnie would hear because it was the same area that dwayne and ronnie were in we started hearing that chirp and yeah Have you talked about your time with them? I haven't. I don't think I have, yeah. So Dwayne and Ronnie took me up to their spot from when I interviewed them.
Starting point is 00:22:41 And it was really interesting. There was a group that went up the day before and had an actual visual on the side of the meadow where one jumped out of the tree. Like they think it's a younger juvenile. And then actually the group was chased out of the area. Dwayne tells me that multiple times there's a large, What he says is a large alpha that will run out of the woods towards people that are in that area. On the way up, there's a lot of service roads that you have to switchbacks, and it takes forever to get up there. And they're individuals that actually, when they were driving up there, they saw a large Sasquatch just running down the side of the mountain.
Starting point is 00:23:22 There's a lot that's happened in the last few days. There was a group that went out just looking for Moss, and there was a sighting of three individuals. individuals and individuals Sasquatch in the area. And it was a thing where they were just looking for Moss. Of course, they didn't have the equipment set up to record. And that's usually how it works, right? But so Dwayne and Ronnie want to take me to the area. They're like, you need to experience this since you have talked to us and you need to see what's going on. So we go out them with Dwayne, Ronnie, myself. They take us to an area, take me to an area outside, 50 yards outside of the meadow area, where they had been camping.
Starting point is 00:24:03 And they're like, let's go into the woods. I want to show you the area where this creature usually rushes out. And then, okay, this sounds like a really terrible idea. That's what I was thinking. I was like, this is it. No cell service. See ya. That's why we have life insurance.
Starting point is 00:24:18 We go in there in Dwayne's. Dwayne is such a good individual. We just start looking around because we're in there. We went in a little bit off the road. And there was a, how tall do you think this is like a few feet off the ground? Two feet off the ground. There was a twisted off tree like something had gripped it and twisted it and broken it. And it's about, I would say, the length of your thumb diameter across, so a few inches. And I started looking around and there were multiple twist broken trees in the same area, like five to six.
Starting point is 00:24:52 And they weren't rubbed on deer or an elk might do. So that was really interesting. And they took us over to the meadow. and I had known there had been one that jumped down in the meadow the day before. So I was like, I'm going to walk across the meadow, which I was very apprehensive about in the tree line. And I was like, there's probably a track over there, or I hope there is. And I found, like, when I go out in Iowa and it was me and my kid, like, there was a lot of, like, things where I was like, eh, I don't know. It's probably just because I'm like, I'm here for Bigfoot.
Starting point is 00:25:26 What I saw there was a 15 to 16 inch track with like toes in the exact spot where it would have jumped down from the tree. And I was like, oh man. You cast it? No. The way that it was the material it was in, it would not have been castable. We were on a trail on the other side of the meadow and it was a trail, a steep incline. We actually saw a track on the side of that incline, which is uncastable too, but you could see the toes. And so there's that.
Starting point is 00:25:56 And then we were the first ones back. sorry, the group before the day before had left an apple, orange and banana, impaled on sticks on the side of a pine tree in an area where Ronnie had left fruit before, like the whole, the cobbler in the tree from the interview. So we checked that out. The apple is on the ground untouched. The orange that was impaled on a stick, the stick had been broken off, but it was on the ground, uneaten.
Starting point is 00:26:24 And the banana was taken off the tree, and the peel was on the ground. So it was a peeled banana, something had peeled it and eaten the banana inside, which to me just really freaked me out. And there were, for a few days after that, I'm still trying to work through it.
Starting point is 00:26:42 And it's like for something to peel, it has to have hands and fingers and thumb. And like what, you know, I've been talking to people about Bigfoot for years, but like when I start experiencing this in real life out in Oregon, it's like this is a different, this now I'm,
Starting point is 00:26:57 involved with things and it's very it's wild because right after that we had we were coming starting to come back to try to help put up tents for the festival so I had my recording stuff away and then Ronnie was like I want to play another song for them because that's how he connects to them up there as he takes his guitar and he plays he's really good and so he's starting to play his guitar in a minute into it we hear this like loud roar from the woods and it was that that messed me up like all the blood from my head rushed down fell into my feet and I only heard half the roar because when the blood rushed down my head my ears turned off which is weird but it happened I only heard half of it I looked over at Dwayne and Dwayne was like pale face and he's like dude it's happening again and I was like oh man
Starting point is 00:27:48 And this is, and so I was like, wow, man, like, where I was feeling guilty because we needed to help. And Bigfoot was, it was getting weird. And I was like, well, maybe it's time to go because I was just like fight or flight. And then Ronnie's like, nope, they need one more Beatles song. So a minute into it, after Ronnie starts playing, we hear a roar from the woods that transitions into a scream. and I looked out over to Dwayne, and his daughter Denise is there too, who was in the interview, she's doing the bird chirp mimic sound back and forth to the Sasquatch. Because whenever she's there, stuff goes off too.
Starting point is 00:28:29 It's really weird. But the scream, and at that point we're like, man, it's time to go. And so it just, like, things started to turn, and we were like, oh, man. So that's me being able to talk about what happened, not Wednesday, but Thursday, and the day before that, yeah. So I know you've interviewed Ronnie a couple times, and I have heard where he has gone and played his guitar. Was it the same location?
Starting point is 00:28:57 Sorry, that's a great point. When they took me to this area, I thought they were just taking me to certain areas in the woods. They made sure I realized this when we were there. They're like, you realize this is the same exact spot where we camped out and we almost died that night. And when I realized this, and this is before the vocalizations happened and everything, I was like, oh, no, this is a terrible idea. Like, we're going to die today.
Starting point is 00:29:24 And it's a thing where, you know, Jason Kenzie and Chad, his manager, they are going to stay overnight in a tent. And they're going to interview Ronnie and Dwayne in that same area after the festival. And they're going to stay overnight in a tent. And I'm like, guys, have you heard my interview? And they're like, no, but we'll get the story. And I'm like, guys, you need to really be prepared for what is probably going to happen. They're going to rush up the mountain. They're going to sound like large ravens and coyotes.
Starting point is 00:29:52 And you need to be prepared for the insanity that these guys experienced. So, yeah, that's a great question. I realize that halfway through that, yeah, this is the same exact area. And it's weird when it gets quiet out there. It's really intense. So now I have a much better understanding. of when someone says they're in the woods and just things start shutting down and they start hearing aggressive sounds and what it does to them physically as a person. Yeah, that's a good question.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Oh, I was kidding, but I said if they had told you that was the same spot that he had spoken about before, would you have actually gone? I would have been really nervous on the ride, but it was really cool because they showed me all the different spots they've had things happen at over the years. and they actually allowed me to record our entire conversation for about five to six hours. There's some really interesting things that will come from that in the future, and we'll see how that is used after I get back home and analyze through everything. But yeah, this whole experience has been wild. The cool thing about this is there's people just hanging out,
Starting point is 00:31:06 and Tobu Johnson from the Al Moon Lab and Flash, a beauty has ridden his bike over. You comfortable with talking for the podcast, Tobe? Sure, let's go, man. All right. So how have things been for you guys at the festival, Tob? Thanks for noticing the bike. I just bought this awesome bike for $40 down the road.
Starting point is 00:31:25 As I love riding a bike, I haven't had one for years. What a perfect way to research, too, as you just roll along those old log and rows with a GoPro. So for me, this is a homecoming at Jeremiah. I was born and raised about a half hour. down the road, Oak Ridge was like where it all became apparently real to me as far as witnesses describing the truth instead of just really cool campfire stories. And so in and around this area here are extraordinary claims that have extraordinary evidence. And one of those areas is over here
Starting point is 00:32:00 off a highway 19, a section of desolate highway that goes from Highway 58 to 126. So Skookham Creek is there, hell hole is there, then you have Baboon Creek nearby. So all these areas here is where the connection for Sasquatch and the supernatural was just too profound that I couldn't ignore it. And so I chased it down from Oak Ridge all the way to the town of Rainbow and did what you did. That was the first thing I did is I want to talk to people that seen it, that know where it is that have been changed by it. And so I started to put them in a little local bar called Ike's Pizza. And once a month, we do Bigfoot and Beer. And everyone would show up from all over Highway 126 and tell their incredible stories over pepperoni shaped Bigfoot pizza and really bad
Starting point is 00:32:59 coconut beer. Yeah. In the little town of Lieberg, Oregon. Yeah. And this, so this is like their first conference here. And it's a very big food. about downtime because everybody loves the subject matter for the most part. Priscilla brought up the fact that it actually strikes anger and a lot of people sometimes when you bring it up, especially alpha males, hunters in particular. But I heard an incredible story about a hunter while it was here. A gal came up to me. She goes, my brother is such a skeptic about the subject matter and makes me feel like I'm just
Starting point is 00:33:32 a complete cuck. She goes, he was up the road near where Adam Davies had his experience. in southern Oregon. And he has no idea about the story. And so as he's driving along with his wife in a remote area, I believe they were looking for a house. And he said, hey, turn around.
Starting point is 00:33:51 I saw a huge statue of Bigfoot. I want to take a picture for my sister. And so the wife turned around and they didn't see a statue. And the guy said, wait a second. Bigfoot Society will be right back after these messages. If data management is slowing down your business, you need the Intuit ERP.

This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. So he got out of the car, looked all around the field for this really realistic statue of Sasquatch, and it was gone. And so these are kind of really quick moments, right, that change these alpha males lives. And there are alpha women, too. Like, I've met plenty of alpha women just, they get extremely emotionally angry about it because it shatters their worldview.
Starting point is 00:36:13 And they just aren't comfortable with the gray area. and Sasquatch is like primarily a giant gray area of ability, of location, a behavior, of culture, origin, and the future, we know nothing, except what they give us little glimpses of telling us. But personally, I see them as a land spirit, so they're in between the layers of being not only flesh and bud, but a spirit, being of some kind that is attached, and perfectly, as Sonia Zohar says, they're one with nature. They're the ultimate nature spirit. They're the green man of old, right, of like Nordic and English traditions. You see the release of the man with the pursed lips with the foliage around him that dates back to the Celts, also known as Pan. And so that is a nature spirit.
Starting point is 00:37:08 You go to the Sistine Chapel. You see the wild man hiding underneath the crucifix of Christ of Calvary. and there are two Sasquatch in the caves in the Sistine Chapel. So all of these things, just I don't know how they look past that stuff except to say they don't know about it. But if you do know about it, how do you ignore that? There's an area that I've gotten a lot of reports from around here. And I'm curious just because you have been in this area.
Starting point is 00:37:35 We have a ton of Bigfoot things happening in this area, but are there also, have you seen high strangeness-related things, things like those sticks in this lake in the Waldo wilderness area where they're just starting to move in a circle by themselves. Have you ever heard anything like that? So as earlier as I was describing Highway 19, there's what's known as the Box Canyon Guard Station right off the side of the road. I think it's closed off due to wildfires. But if you can get up there, past it is an old logging road that goes up to a horse camp where you tie off the horses. And that really was one of the places that changed me forever.
Starting point is 00:38:17 We were out there with some extended experiencers, some Sasquatch contactees, habituator types. Actually, Ron Moorhead's daughter, Rhonda Moorhead, her boyfriend, Todd Bailey, was sitting in his Jeep with me and his cousin, John Bull, both experienced bigfooters. And we saw what looked like a little headlamp as the sun was setting. And so the headlamp was on the other side of the elk field,
Starting point is 00:38:43 It glided through the tree line as the sunset. We had a cannon, a rebel canon camera with us. And we got extraordinary photos that evening of what looked like Christmas lights, like we had here in the amphitheater, filling up the trees. Red lights, green lights, blue lights, all within like I could throw a frisbee and hit him.
Starting point is 00:39:07 And so to capture photos, it doesn't change anybody's mind, really, just given the fact of where we are with AI, and being able to Photoshop stuff. However, it let me know I was chasing after something really incredible that had this connective tissue to it, which is the paranormal and big foot, because as those lights came in on us,
Starting point is 00:39:27 it was abundantly clear that Sasquatch are nearby. They threw rocks at the truck. I had a flash of light spark over the top of my brim of my baseball hat as a rock struck the side of my car. And so this is the connection. connective tissue that keeps happening. One of the stories that happened at the Al Moon Lab was never told, and it was by a bow hunter that is in the dock, part one, Mark Parker,
Starting point is 00:39:57 and he didn't tell what happened when he came to the Al Moon Lab. My buddy Daryl got to know him, and he was totally a flesh and blood guy, totally flesh and blood. Like, it's hard enough for an alpha male bowhunter to see this, let alone to see something crazy. And so he came to the Al Moon Lab, and by the end of the night, he was a little bit shaken up to the point of getting a little bit misty in the eyes because it was so profound. Left his camp chair, had a manic episode. And so I was talking him down his hill.
Starting point is 00:40:30 But what he described what happened with Darrell is, as they were looking in the ravine of the Al Moon Lab, they saw a red light about 50 feet up, and he had a flare monoscope without a record button, unfortunately. And so he's watching this light. What is that? So as it glides through the forest, only about 20 yards away, comes a 10-foot-tall Sasquatch walking at them. It was so big, so close
Starting point is 00:40:55 that it was obviously super frightening at 11 o'clock at night in the woods to have a Sasquatch come at you, let alone, what's the connection with this giant red light? Is that a distraction? Was that it? If you watch Flash of Beauty,
Starting point is 00:41:10 Sasquatch are the lights. Like the box of yellow light, five different witnesses have told me in connection to their event are these boxes of yellow light that streak off, but are also Sasquatch. There's been multiple people from the town that have noticed the name Baboon Creek,
Starting point is 00:41:31 and they've made... Why would this be called Baboon Creek? I never got that. Do you know any stories about that area that are related to Sasquatch? or maybe that could shine a light on why it's called that? Henry Franzoni wrote the book, Valley that, not Valley of Skookum,
Starting point is 00:41:47 but I can't remember the name of Henry's first book. It'll come to me. But he describes place names as being an important thing. And so Baboon Creek, Skookum Creek, Spirit Lake, Devil Mountain, Bougar Road, all these things have a reason for the name. So Baboon Creek, I heard about it based upon two gold miners that were prospecting. And so they're getting ready to wrap up they had a field dredge because it's pretty remote down to get in there. You got to really hike
Starting point is 00:42:14 down in there from what they said. I've never been. And as they were packing up their stuff, they had two Sasquatch noticing the pans getting clinked together, if I remember correctly. And as they're walking up the ridge, one of the guys noticed the Sasquatch. The other guy didn't. And he didn't want to say anything because he's just like super freaked out. And I think he had notice weird stuff throughout the day as they were gold mining. And so as they were leaving, these Sasquatch were jumping up the ridge like Tigger at them. And I've heard this time and time again that they have, even Wes and Woody describe almost a trampoline effect that these things have like jelly legs, like they're just springing around. That just really struck a chord at me,
Starting point is 00:43:02 the fact that they were approaching these two guys, but they were jumping up the hill without the use of really any inertia. Just picture like Superman or Clark Kent. Oh, gravity means nothing to me. And so when we found the knee impressions, circa 2008, they were in a clay deposit off the side of the road, incredibly fresh, right? Plus or minus 1,400 pounds in weight,
Starting point is 00:43:23 anomalous hair is attached to the kneecaps, all those tests done through a Boeing engineer and Cindy Dozen from the Olympic project. Regardless, after Cindy did the analysis on the hair, she goes, did you look in the trees? And I said, why would I look in the trees? She goes, when they leave any impressions, they're mid-spring. She goes, go back and look in this tree for hair. And we found red clay and hair about seven feet up on the ridge of that tree, as though something had sprung from the clay deposit on the old road and then jumped up just like the guys described in Babin Creek.
Starting point is 00:44:00 Thank you for providing that background. That's amazing. Have you yourself gone out into the surrounding woods of Oak Ridge and had any encounters yourself, like gone out on a forest road and these 40 minutes out crazy areas, has that happened to you? Yeah. Is that anything that you'd be able to share? Yeah. Lights were the first thing that happened near this Box Canyon guard station. The second thing that happened was the lights. Beyond the lights was an old trail, and I thought, well, I kind of want to repeat what, Ron did and have a remote campsite that I can get into with my son and a few friends. Ron Morhead.
Starting point is 00:44:43 Yeah, Ron Moorhead of the Sierra Sounds. And so I carried a 50-gallon drum, an empty 50-gallon drum and buried it in the woods with all my camp supplies. Water, knives, tent, tarps, whatever. So I never have to hike it. I only had to do it once. And so we built a giant teepee structure, like a 15-foot-tall-tall-tipy, 20-foot-tall teepee. and then we had our little tiny semi-fire ring for the winter, and we knew we'd only have access to it for a little while,
Starting point is 00:45:11 but on a couple occasions, as soon as we would turn off the lights, we would have trees tossed around us. Now, everybody describes tree toss as being something intimidating, but when you're at camp in the dark and something's throwing trees, it's like, well, I love God. I worship Jesus right now, Please help me, God. No one's an atheist at that moment, right? Yeah. So we all became saved in a minute. Just like, oh, God.
Starting point is 00:45:41 No matter how big and tough you are, to throw a tree or to hear a tree even, get pushed down and hear the full weight of the earth, move the trunk of that tree, and then the slapping of a giant dug fir and then the thud. Well, there were no trees that ever fell. There was no trees that were down. There was no trees to be. be found that were uprooted. This is a thing, right? In Bumping Lake, people describe trees getting knocked down. Bob Gimlin last year with Kevin Carney and Sandy Nelson as he was leaving camp, a tree fell down. They actually found that tree. Previous to that, an area called Twilight Zone, they heard a giant, huge Doug Fur get drugged up the road by hand. There was no tree to be found and no scrape on the logging road. Paul Graves, researcher from Manachi, has a recording of what must be, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:46:37 150 foot tall old growth falling through the Wenatchi forest. There's no tree that he ever found. These earth sounds, like I tried to tell people as much as I can about these really weird sounds and do it in a way they can understand, especially like the new people that are getting into it. But sounds like that are hard to get over. they have no explanation. It's obviously like an intimidation thing. We just were up in the Makkah Reservation in Nia Bay with Kevin Carney and Sandy Nelson and a Makkah elder and his wife.
Starting point is 00:47:16 This was two weeks ago. Now they've been on this property for 10 years and they have activity, but when we walked out of the woods, it sounded like someone picked up a frigidere, like a giant old frigidere refrigerator and hucked it through the trees. And this was like 12 o'clock in the afternoon. It waited for us to walk out of the tree line to get maybe a safe distance. And they said they hadn't ever heard anything like that in 10 years and they have all this stuff happens. So would we have gone back into the mosquitoy woods and found a tree? Maybe. But sometimes you don't and you should. Tov, it's been a pleasure being able to chat with you again. Our first interview is one of my favorites.
Starting point is 00:48:04 But I do want to make sure before we head out, how have things been here for the Flash of Beauty crew? And are there some maybe interviews you guys have been able to do so we can expect to see in the future? Any teasers about that? So, sure, yeah. We got two interviews. One, I guess, was really spectacular.
Starting point is 00:48:22 We interviewed Jerry Hine. If you haven't had a chance to meet the Living Jackson. Sparrow of California, which is Jerry Hine, go see him over in the green tent. So they got two extra interviews, but someone showed up from Flash of Beauty, Jack. Jack's the one that saw the white deer shape shift. I never met Jack. And Jack's, to me, a rock star. He's total, uh, he has nothing to do with the community. And I'm like, beg him, please, Jack, come to a conference with me. Get on stage and tell your story, because he's so cool. So I got to meet him. And, but so next month, we're going to going into The Voice of the Wilderness for seven days.
Starting point is 00:49:00 And I've never been up to the Sierra's ever, let alone Ron's old camp. And I've never ridden a horse. So this is going to be like really funny on camera for people. And we're going to talk to people that never gone on the record about what really happened up there beyond what Ron knows. And so it's a very multi-layered story. It's probably the most important Bigfoot story never told.
Starting point is 00:49:25 And the way Brett should. shoots, it's going to be spectacular to watch because the way he shoots. It's 2025 Flash of Beauty Voice in the Wilders, man. Thank you for that, Tobin. Real quick, if people want to reach out to you or make sure that they can check out Flash of Beauty, are there any places that they should be aware of where to go? So our next function is going to be something that we call the Olympic Strange days. It's a 30, I think there's 30 people coming. It's sold out on two days. Not many people. So that's September 26th through 29th in the Olympic Peninsula. We'll have Dr. Simeon Hine of Dark Matter Monsters teaching remote viewing. This is a super squatchy area we're going to.
Starting point is 00:50:11 Like my girlfriend was hit in the face with a light from a UFO in this area. And so Jill and Brett are going to be there. Mike's going to be there. Richard Germo, Barb Schupe, myself, maybe a guy from Skinwalker Ranch that works with Fleer that lives in town. And then maybe a guy from Blind Frog Ranch is going to pop in, Ryan Skinner. That's what we got going. And look forward to hanging out with you again, dude. And maybe we'll have something happen. Thank you, Tob.
Starting point is 00:50:40 Pleasure to have you bike over to the campsite and chat with us. Thank you so much. Hi. Good luck with the bike. Have fun. And thank you to Slea and Jersey for letting me invade your campsite and do a podcast. It's our pleasure. Our pleasure. Our miss casa, your casa.
Starting point is 00:51:07 Special thank you to Slea and Jersey for allowing me to hang out with them at their campsite during the Sasquatch Summerfest. And also a special thank you to Tobes Johnson for biking over on his new bike and hanging out. and hanging out with us for a little bit. Bigfoot Society will be right back after these messages. Starting point is 00:53:20 One of the early mornings with someone whose voice you may have heard before, but a special thank you to Josh for allowing me to interview him about what he experienced that weekend. It is currently recording. All right, guys, you've probably heard Josh before in the Hatcher Pass, Alaska. episode and then I talked to him about his things that have happened just south of Portland. He's actually here at the Sasquatch Humberfest Festival. There's this prize to meet him. When I heard his voice, I immediately knew who he was. But he wants to share a few things that have happened recently. Josh, how's it going this morning? Oh, it's both terrifying and wonderful.
Starting point is 00:54:00 I don't say that much. So let's set the scene where we are. You are camping out here over by the river, which is beautiful. There's a bridge where you can walk across the river. There's actually, I mean, it's a quite fast, fast flowing one. You walk across the bridge. There's beautiful moss-cover trees and you've got a great tent here, small one person it looks like, but it's a special tent, correct? You were mentioning that it's actually a tent that we may have heard mentioned before. It was actually the tent I used in Hatcher, in Montana Creek when I had the encounters along the roadside. And I usually take it hunting with me.
Starting point is 00:54:42 And the thing about the tent is real tight, real tight. And if something's coming up to sniff you or say anything at all, you're going to hear it. And it's going to be real up close and personal. I'm looking at it. I imagine if I was in there by myself, there's not a lot of room. And it really does add a lot to the story to know that
Starting point is 00:55:04 if there's something on the other side, it is extremely close to you. Yeah, extremely, like inches away from your face. And I look around at the other tents. There is that false sense of security in like a bigger, like three-person tent or a six-person tent where it just looks bigger. And so whatever animal might be coming up to you, be it squatter bear or whatever, they're not going to be as like close to your face. but in this one it's like a coffin. It's nice, it can get into tight spots, but it's just very up close and personal
Starting point is 00:55:41 if something figures out where you are and it wants to just check you out. And it's been intense at times. Yeah, I didn't want to mention that myself, but I agree with you, it probably does have the feeling of almost being in like a mummy sleeping bag, a coffin, or even a sarcophagus,
Starting point is 00:55:58 yes, it's very close corridors. So you said that recently, even around this area, there may have been some things you've noticed? Yeah, when I first got here, I asked around from some of the locals and I checked out across the bridge. I walked across the bridge
Starting point is 00:56:18 and I just like slowly walked and just kept my ears open like a hunter, like a good hunter does, and I'm just like listening to the deep brush. I'm like, I got my feelers out and I'm just like walking along. And then I hear, like, little footsteps, like bounding footsteps, and about two different pairs, so then I knew that they were in there, so I turned around, and on the other side of the bridge, there's this rock outcropping.
Starting point is 00:56:46 I went out and stood on top of the rock and just let them see me, and what happened was the two sets were coming. One was coming up from up higher on the ridge, and the one was coming directly to my left-hand side and they were closing in and then another one was up in cliffside way up high coming at me and I just stood there just for about two minutes just to let them see me and that night the festival went on most of the day and that night last night they as the movie they had a movie playing and I got real tired so I decided to come back to my tent to put things away before it got too dark and in my truck. And I set up my sleeping bag and everything and I get inside and I'm just laying there listening
Starting point is 00:57:38 because I'm always listening. And I hear the deep thud of a big pair of feet like thud approaching in the trail just behind me that like hugs the river bank and it stops at my tent. and then I start hearing it, like, move through the grass. I don't know if it's found a bug or if it's just coming to check me out directly. So then it gets close, and I can hear it probably, like, maybe it's five or six feet from my tent, and I can hear it just give a, and then, like, it starts milling around, and, like, I hear it going back and forth, and I finally decide I don't,
Starting point is 00:58:21 I can't sleep with this going on right next to my tent. I get out. I go immediately go to my truck and I sit in the truck and I have a blanket. I'm ready to sleep in the truck. Just real quick, sir, can you explain how far away your truck is from the tent? Oh, it's about 30 feet. And I go through the past the other tents to my truck. I get into the truck. and I sit down and after about 15 seconds of sitting in my truck I look up on the ridge line in the darkness because the sun had completely gone down and it was extremely dark.
Starting point is 00:59:06 I saw a pair of glowing eyes rip across the ridge line through the trees and a straight line. I would say within like 100 feet in about two and a half seconds. And then Then I see it I get out I see a couple of campers going down to their tent And I tell them, hey, I just saw some
Starting point is 00:59:35 A pair of eyes go up there, pass up over on the ridge line Just to let them know So they're not At least give them a little, tell them what's going on Because I'm like just standing out there staring at their tent So I didn't want to be a creeper. But you know the feeling where you're just like, something in this is happening, but it looks bad.
Starting point is 00:59:55 But I let them know. And I get back in my truck, and I just start trying to take pictures. And I'm looking around. All of a sudden I see another pair of eyes dart from along the bank to their tent. The people that I just talked to, and it stopped.
Starting point is 01:00:16 And then I can't see it, But I can hear something moving through the brush, working its way around to the backside of my truck. And then, like, maybe a few seconds later, the back corner of my truck just, like, drops. Somebody had just jumped on the bumper or something. And the whole truck shook. And then I put the phone down,
Starting point is 01:00:42 and I just put the blanket on, laid down, and I could hear the hands, put its digits right on top of my truck here, pressed down. And then it just disappeared. And two policemen actually came walking pass right at that moment. Really? Yeah, and they were like either patrolling the campground or whatever, but they happened to just like pass by when that happened.
Starting point is 01:01:13 And like then I didn't have any more problems for the night, but I was definitely not sleeping great. I was like a menagerie of nightmares all night long. Absolutely. That is wild to hear that has been just the first night that's happened. Did you notice, did you look at your truck afterwards and notice like any like fingerprints or handprints or anything of the ordinary like that around? I did notice that since the fires are going here, there's a lot of ash in the air. And I did see one handprint, but I can't prove if it wasn't my own.
Starting point is 01:01:48 so I'm up in the air about it, but I didn't see any like real big, like out of the ordinary prints. And I looked at the top of my roof. I looked all around the truck and I couldn't find any spots where they had grabbed. So I'm thinking maybe they grabbed the liner bit and just like pushed my truck down. Absolutely. Thank you for sharing that. Do you have any thoughts about how the festival has gone so far just as an attendee? I think Friday.
Starting point is 01:02:15 Fridays are usually a little. There was like a few people, but in high spirit. It's such a great crowd, so positive, like just a good positive energy with the people camping here. Everybody's so nice. Everybody's willing to chat, and there's been a lot of stories passed around. It's just been a great atmosphere. I think this would probably be a good, like, family activity if you were ever thinking about it. My experience aside, like, if you're not, if you stay in your lane, you're not going to get too much action for the kids.
Starting point is 01:02:42 But I think it is a little exciting to just have the magic of, like, nature is the way. like alive and well and like you can experience it if you just go out and touch it. I agree. It's such a, I mean, being in the park and being in a group of like-minded people, plus being in such close proximity to, just to elaborate on what Josh was explaining earlier, we're close to the river. There's a bridge that goes across and if you talk to people from the town, which I've been doing for a few months, most of the sightings in the town actually happen across that bridge in that forest area. Dwayne was telling me across that bridge, the wilderness actually comes right up to the river.
Starting point is 01:03:24 So you're looking across, that's the forest wilderness of Oak Ridge, and it is extremely close to where this festival is happening. Most people don't realize that right now, so. I didn't know that. I thought maybe there was going to be much more campsites down the trail, but it's looking pretty raw. There's some old-growth trees out here, rugged, but I just had no idea. Absolutely. So not just what Josh has experienced, but for years there have been documented sightings in that forest area just across the bridge.
Starting point is 01:03:57 So, which is pretty amazing to hear that not just in past years, but, you know, current day as well. But thanks, Josh again. It's a pleasure to meet you in person and to chat with you for a little bit about what you've experienced recently. Yeah. The whole reason I came out here was because you mentioned this festival existed and I looked it up and I was like, oh, this looks great. I got I got I got I'm coming I got to go and um yeah it's been aside from last night it's been pretty pretty good event awesome we'll see what happens in the next few days but thanks for chatting Josh oh yeah thank you what you're about to hear are a few interviews that I actually did at the booth itself so you will hear a lot of background noise but these are pretty special all right so I've got veronica here at the Sasquatch Summerfest. She came up to the booth and she's got some very interesting things to share.
Starting point is 01:04:54 She said that it's taken about 20 years to share that. So Veronica, thank you for coming over. Go ahead. Hello. I went hunting and I had a 308 rifle and in my hands and we went on up Windbury Creek Road and that's in Oregon. And Winbury Creek, it's wind, yeah, it's just Winbury Creek area. And we were going hunting up there. And we decided we had a big four-wheel drive truck, big one that was lifted, and all the roads had been chained off. And we went around the chain and drove up this one, it looked like an abandoned road that nobody had gone up for a long time. And we went up there probably about five, ten miles. We went way up there. And it looked like something out of a storybook.
Starting point is 01:05:41 It was this beautiful field, all these wild flowers and stuff. And then right in the tree line, I hear, and I smell something. First, I smell something. And it smelled horrible. It smelled like sweat and dirty, just like dirty, sweaty, stinky, animalistic kind of sweat. And if there's even, I don't know how to describe it, but it stunk really bad. And then I heard this wrestling around and stuff, and I looked forward,
Starting point is 01:06:13 and there is something that must have been at least 10 feet tall. at least 10 feet tall. And I could tell that only when it stood up and it ran away. And it was like from here to right there from me. And it screamed bloody murder right in my face. And I had a 308. So you'd think I'd feel pretty comfortable, but I was frozen. I couldn't move. The people I was with couldn't move. None of us could move. And it took us so long just to conceive what we were seeing and what was screaming at us. And it was not a man. It was not some feral Drug addict in the woods acting like he's some kind of madman or somebody in a costume. It moved different.
Starting point is 01:06:53 Its mannerisms were different. Bigfoot Society will be right back after these messages. If data management is slowing down your business. You need the Intuit ERP. The forehead was different than like a person, and it was like the cheeks were different. I mean, the whole face wasn't like a person at all. I mean, it was different shape than like a human.
Starting point is 01:09:00 face. Nothing. I can't even put into words what it is that I saw, because I still don't know what I saw, but I know it was huge and it scared me and I just couldn't move. And when it ran away, it screamed first and I was like, and then
Starting point is 01:09:16 it ran away. And then when I walked back in the bushes or whatever, I saw how crunched everything was. It was huge and this thing was huge. I mean, it was wide and it was huge. And I mean, it must have I'd say where I stand, just the torso here must have come up to about here on me easily,
Starting point is 01:09:36 if not more. Yeah, does that make sense? I'm not good with height. Yeah, how I'm around would you say that is just for audio? Let's see, I'm like five, seven, maybe right, six, something like that. And it was way, I mean, I was looking up at it when it was in, yeah. Yeah, it's not, you're not going face-fits, you're looking up to hold that. I was looking up.
Starting point is 01:09:55 Wow. Yeah, and it was enough to scare the heck out of me. Later I found out there's other people that had seen things up there. I had people with me when this happened. And so it wasn't just me that witnessed it, but they didn't talk about it for 20 years, too. None of us could talk about it until this guy came through, Eugene, asking for Bigfoot stories. And we finally talked about it. We had told our parents about it years ago, but it took five, ten years just to tell our parents.
Starting point is 01:10:22 So we were that scared. And that's about it. So if you're looking at the face, sometimes people can try to categorize it as different things. Would you say maybe something that is more man-like, ape-like Neanderthal or just something completely different? To me, it looked Neanderthal. Honestly, it didn't look like a feral man or anything or like a man with a lot of beard. It had more of a divine chiseled kind of, I mean, real, how would you put it? really the facial points of the face were really defined.
Starting point is 01:10:57 More so than with our persons is round. This is more chiseled look. Do you remember any details about the mouth at all? Gosh, I don't really. I was just scared to death and just in shock. I was in shock. But when it screamed, I had never heard a scream like that in my life. It was a bloody murder.
Starting point is 01:11:15 You're going to die. You kind of scream. And it scared the heck out of me. I appreciate you talking. you're having, so this is, I usually do this over the phone. And you're definitely having a very visceral reaction from your memories right now. And I appreciate you actually being able to go back to that time. And I don't want to, I don't want to have you back in that time anymore.
Starting point is 01:11:37 Let's get back to the current time, good times. Yeah. It was really just a life-changing experience for me. Because, you know, I just, everything just seemed a little different after that. But yeah, I kept it to myself because, but I appreciate it. what you guys are doing. So you make people like me that have had those experiences feel like we can come out and talk about it. Thank you so much. All right guys we got Donna and Dave here. First people at the booth at Saswatch Summerfest and they have an encounter they would like to share. So I'm going to
Starting point is 01:12:06 go ahead and give it over to them. Donna, Dave, great to meet you today. Nice to meet you. And Dave, I could have you move a little bit closer. All right, go ahead, guys. Go ahead. You tell them. Okay. This was about maybe three years ago or so, and we were going down Highway 34 towards the coast, and we went camp at Horton Ponds. And there's, it's somewhere near high pass, low pass road or wherever. And they, we got the tent ready and everything. I had my cats with me. There was a mama cat with little kittens. And we got the tent set up. And we started. We started. No, not then it wasn't. It was not raining. They were screaming. There was hollering.
Starting point is 01:12:55 And it was dark. And I heard there was a bunch of, to me it sounded like a bunch of guys sat by a campfire. And I don't know. It was just eerie. My cats were scared. I finally got brave enough to go outside and put my black cat in the car. He went under the car seat and stayed there until we were the next day and mile. away from there. They were just freaking out. And Dave kept looking and thinking. He goes,
Starting point is 01:13:25 he goes, no, I don't think it's a group of me and I don't think it's guy. I don't think it's people. And I go, what kind of an animal would be doing that? And he just listened and listened. And then we went outside and he stood there and all of a sudden he let off this really loud, noise. Say what you did. Go go, kitchoo! Like that. And all of a sudden it's down, we just started running for the tent because it sounded like someone was coming or something. And then it went whoosh, like that, and landed right outside the tent and didn't say anything. Hold on. So Dave just said he beat you guys to the tent.
Starting point is 01:14:03 Yeah. 100 yards off or something. He beat us to the tent and I don't know how to he flew or what he did. He's, I thought I heard it go, land outside by the tent or something just there on a rock or something. And we went out and looked for prints and didn't find anything. And I just couldn't. It screeched so loud. I never heard nothing screeched alive in my life.
Starting point is 01:14:26 Big gnarly growl behind it. They didn't really like the sound he made for him, though. He didn't like that. He didn't. He wasn't a fan of the Beatles. No, no, no. I don't know. They wouldn't go back there.
Starting point is 01:14:42 Have you heard of other things happening in the same area, guys? The sun? Yeah, some. Yeah, I don't know. That's the only thing I know about. Oh, well, that's something different. I know, sir. It's, um...
Starting point is 01:14:54 Up to you guys. It's, man, that's, that's, that is whatever out in Blue River area. You know, it wasn't. I was coming back from Klanaf Falls and we stopped the Salt War and the waterfall. Okay. Oh, Salt Creek Waterfall. And I took a picture of them. And then when I got home, the front of them, I blew it up.
Starting point is 01:15:12 You can see half of them sat squads. All in this picture. you're blowing up. Really? Yeah, really. How tall, could you get a feel for how tall they were or anything at that? There were different sizes. One was standing right down to by the bottom of the waterfall.
Starting point is 01:15:27 Big old beard and... I couldn't see him from up there when I took the picture. Wow. Thank you guys for sharing what you've experienced first people at the booth, so I appreciate guys coming over. Stay tuned for a special sneak peek of this week's members only episode encounter polusa five where it's about an hour of different encounters i recorded for the members only section you can get access to the whole episode by becoming a
Starting point is 01:15:57 youtube channel member in the bigfoot posse tier two or above or becoming a patreon member over at patreon.com forward slash the bigfoot society enjoy he wakes me out of a dead sleep literally grabs me by my armpits and pulls me up and he goes get outside now that screaming thing is back. And I'm still like, I'm still like half asleep and I don't think anything. I just, I grab a, of a flashlight. I'm outside with him. I'm shirtless in my underwear and in my gym shorts.
Starting point is 01:16:29 I did think enough to grab some house shoes. But so I go out and I'm looking around and I'm just like, what, what's going on? Why did you get me out here? And he goes, I heard the. scream and I said what are you talking about he goes remember that time back you told me I heard that low bellow and we sat out here all night and waited we didn't hear nothing I'm like yeah he goes it's back and I said okay so what do you want to do what do we should do right now and he goes let's all let's get a dress let's all
Starting point is 01:17:04 get scored away let's grab some weapons and let's go see if we can find this thing I'm like what are we gonna are we gonna hunt it are we gonna He wants it, he goes, no, if anything, we're just going to scare it off. And I was like, so what do you think it is? He goes, I don't want to admit this, but I feel like it might be a Sasquatch or a Bigfoot. And I'm like, okay, if that's what you want to do, let's get dressed, let's go. So we get dressed, we have a side-by-side, you know, loads it off of the trailer, we get a gassed up, have our weapons just for self-defense, go out there, spotlight and just looking around.
Starting point is 01:17:41 The distinct thing I do remember is the fact that back of your neck, someone's watching you type feeling where your hair stands up. So that type of feeling happened whenever we got near where my stand was, where we had moved from the previous location. Like they had the first stand set up and then where I had moved it since I started seeing more deer, I just left it all there. And after all the time of waiting and waiting. So we got to the quote unquote newer spot where my stand was and looked around looking and I just had this feeling of, man, someone is watching me right now. I didn't say nothing, but at first I was looking around and something is watching me. Something is staring me down. I get shining around and look him.
Starting point is 01:18:31 And he doesn't have the spotlight that's hooked into the side by side. He has a big almost Magnum P.L. style flashlight. one of the long ones takes the big D batteries. He's shining around and he lets out this blood curling scream at the top of his lungs, freak me out, made me drop the spotlight, which somehow turned it off. And when I looked over towards him to see why is he screaming, he goes, I saw it, I saw it, I saw it. And I'm like, what? I'm like, what did you see?
Starting point is 01:19:02 He goes the blur. It's just the blur. I don't, I just, and I'm like, okay, calm down. You got to catch. yourself tell me what happened and he said I see the blur you're seeing on the camera was like what did it look like he goes some type of weird man thing and I say okay it was it a guy is it a guy running out here is he poaching the deer and he goes no it's not a guy because it didn't have any clothes on so was it a big
Starting point is 01:19:37 foot was it a Sasquatch and his hand is shaking his whole body is shaking but i can remember distinctly his hand that was holding the light was shaking so bad and i looked in the area where he's seen it he said he's seen it and i i don't see anything i'm looking around i don't see anything and i can't really see quite that great with the light in the trees because he's shaking so much so i grabbed the light from his hand make him sit down the side by side and i'm just scanning looking over the tree line looking near where the bushes are and I don't see anything and I'm like okay let's get you back to the house to the cabin let's get you back there get you calm down and let's think about this
Starting point is 01:20:21 and see if we need to call somebody talk to a park ranger or call a game warden and see what they think is going on so we get back to the cabin it's one of those I don't know what to say tight drives it's only like a five minute drive to my stand. It's only maybe a quarter mile from, not even a quarter a mile from the cabin to where I got everything set up in my spot. But we get back to the cabin, I help walk him up, send him on the bed, he's just shaking up really bad. Very scared. It's obvious that this man has seen something as shook him to the core. I'm trying to make sense of all this. I don't want to believe that we actually, or he actually,
Starting point is 01:21:08 actually, just seen a Sasquatch in an area where I've never heard any Bigfoot stories. But if you think about it, why wouldn't that be the perfect spot? You know what I'm saying? If there are no stories, or you don't really know of any stories of these creatures in this deep, thicket wood with all these trees and all this somewhat uncharted land of national forest and private property, small towns, why wouldn't it be a bit of, a good spot for them to be traveling through or for one to be hanging out. So I try to get some sleep.
Starting point is 01:21:46 Obviously, between cat naps, I don't get hardly any sleep. Next morning, it's my alarm goes off at, I think it was 5 a.m., something like that, like a 30 or 40 minutes before daylight. I get up, I go wake him up, and he's, I'm not going in the woods. So I say, okay, you want to stay here? Fine. and the crazy thing about it is whenever I walked out the door to put my stuff in this side of the side, I'm heck with it, I came out here to hunt, I'm going to hunt myself.
Starting point is 01:22:18 There's not too many things in the woods that will scare me off. I want you to remember that I said that. There's not too many things in this woods that will scare me off. So as I'm starting to leave, I hear him lock the door behind me. That's how terrified he is. So I'm just, okay, whatever. Just go sleep it off. I don't care.
Starting point is 01:22:41 So I go drive to my stand. I parked a side by side, some ways back. I go climb up in my stand and relatively not much activity that first opening morning. I've seen one little dough that had a fawn with her let her pass. This is about 20, 30 minute or daylight, nothing crazy. I like to sleep till about, or excuse me, I like to stay till about 9.30, 10, o'clock if I don't see anything if I see a lot of deer moving I'll stay till about 11 or 12 it all just depends on what I see so I see a few deer here and
Starting point is 01:23:15 there I see a couple of small bucks that are are too small to take and sitting here listen to the birds chirping okay despite this creature being seen it seems like the wildlife is back awesome great fantastic cool and that's virtually it I get down from my stand, I get back in the side by side, I go back, take a quick little nap, get something to eat, I'm going back out for my evening hunt. And I ask him, do you want to go with me? He said, like I said, I'm not going out in those woods.
Starting point is 01:23:51 I will leave with you whenever we go home Sunday night. But other than that, I am staying right here. Okay, fine. I respect that. Go ahead. So this is the evening hunt of this Saturday. I go in, I sit. I don't see anything and then about 20 minutes before dark.
Starting point is 01:24:10 Whenever we like to call prime time, like whenever it's just about to be dark, in my experience, the biggest bucks I've ever shot, the most deer I've ever shot, is right after daylight or right before it gets dark. And I'd call it primetime for that reason. 20 minutes so for dark, my target buck walks out. And I'm like, holy crap. I'm not even remembering about the creature at this point.
Starting point is 01:24:40 That's gone from my mind. As crazy as that sounds, it's gone. So I see the buck come out and I grab my bow and I stand up from my stand. I get my arrow at large and I have my arrow knocked. I get my release knocked on the back of my string, ready to rock and roll. I get it pointed up. I'm about to draw back on him. And I hear what sounds like an elephant.
Starting point is 01:25:06 come crashing through the brush probably 10 to 15 yards behind me. And when I hear this, I freeze. Now, initially, in my experience, if there's two bucks in rut, and if one sees another, and if he's really riled up, he will tear through hell and back to fight this buck. It's just what deer do in a rut. but it's not time for the rut yet. So the first couple of seconds, I'm like,
Starting point is 01:25:38 dang, is that a bigger buck trying to chase them up? Wait a minute. They're not in rut yet. What is that? A big old hog? What is that going on? And where my deer stand is set up is like my back is towards tree line. There's an opening.
Starting point is 01:25:53 And then there's, it's almost like a skylight amongst a tree. There's a little circle that's been cut out naturally from the trees, opening with the oak trees and everything else. And that's where I planted my food plot. corn so I don't see what's going on and my hunter's instinct is kicking in hey don't turn quickly if it's something you're gonna want to take then leave it beat or try to be still with it so I'm looking I can't see but I hear this
Starting point is 01:26:18 thing crashing through the forest and at this point when it's crashing and crashing through my target buck runs off and I'm like dang there goes my target book and this thing runs out perfectly in the dead center of my food plot and stops.
