Bigfoot Society - Something Lived Behind Their House for 13 Years | Oregon
Episode Date: April 7, 2026In this episode, we delve into the long-term experiences of Jay from the northern Oregon coast, who spent over a decade living on a remote property near Arch Cape where unexplained activity became par...t of everyday life. After his family built their home along the edge of the coastal forest, strange events began to unfold—something powerful moving through the trees, heavy footsteps striking the deck, and unseen presences circling just beyond the tree line.Over the years, Jay describes repeated encounters marked by chilling vocalizations, coordinated movement in the forest, and multiple sets of glowing red eyes watching from the darkness at varying heights. What began as a single unexplained moment grew into a pattern that returned season after season, with his entire family experiencing the phenomena in different ways, including daytime incidents that left a lasting impact. As the encounters continued, Jay shares how the activity shaped his understanding of what might exist in these remote landscapes, touching on the deeper atmosphere surrounding the property and the way the presence seemed to observe rather than engage. His account offers a detailed look into what it’s like to live alongside something unknown for years at a time.Join us as we explore Jay’s experiences on the Oregon coast and the enduring mystery of what was moving through the forest just beyond their home.🗣️ Share Your StoryHad a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience?Send it to bigfootsociety@gmail.com – your story might be featured on the show!🎥 Watch & Subscribe on YouTube🔴 Subscribe here → Bigfoot Society YouTube💬 Leave a comment & let us know your thoughts!📞 Leave a voicemail with your story → Speakpipe (Use multiple voicemails if needed)👥 Share this episode → Watch & Share🎧 More episodes → Podcast Playlist🌲 Recommended: New Jersey Bigfoot Encounters💥 Support the Show & Get Perks✅ Join the community on Supercast – Become a Member✅ Listen ad-free & early on YouTube – Join Here📱 Let’s ConnectInstagram: @bigfootsocietyTwitter: @bigfoot_societyTikTok: @bigfoot.society🧰 Tools & Partners I Use (Affiliate Links)These help support the show at no extra cost to you:Beam (Better Sleep): Try BeamWildgrain (Better Bread): Join HereSeed (Probiotics): Get SeedMedi-Share (Healthcare): Learn MoreLMNT (Electrolytes) Free Sample Pack with your first purchase! : Get LMNTOrganic and non-GMO groceries delivered for lesshttp://thrv.me/uarEhS🎙️ Podcasting Tools:Repurpose.io: Try ItDescript: Sign UpStreamyard: Start RecordingRiverside.fm: Try Riverside🎧 My Audio Interface: View on Amazon☕ Buy Me a Coffee – Support Here🛍️ Grab Some Merch – Shop on Etsy📬 Mailing Address:Bigfoot Society125 E 1st St. #233Earlham, IA 50072

I pick for society.
You've got the privilege of talking to Jay today.
Jay is a listener based on the northern Oregon coast and wanting to share some interesting things that have happened out there over the years.
But welcome to the show.
Jay, how are you today?
Good.
How are you doing, Jeremiah?
Doing great.
I've got a lot of, I mean, we're talking before recording and I'm doing interviews outside of interviews because we've got a flap going on of Bigfoot sightings.
Northeast Ohio, so I'm talking to people and then talking to other people, so I love it.
Well, that sounds exciting.
It's really exciting. I love what I do.
So, you know, you are going to be sharing some interesting things today that have happened to you over the years.
I think that we were able to share that, you know, not a lot of background needed for this show, just you're a listener from Northern Oregon Coast.
and I think we're going to leave it at that.
There might be one or two other details, but that's about it.
Sounds good.
Feel free to take us back to when you started noticing some weird things going on out there on the Oregon coast.
It's a good thing I have a backup audio.
Are you there?
Jay, are you there?
Hello, Jay.
Yeah, I'm here.
Okay, sorry, that was weird.
Right as I handed it over to you, the kind of,
connection, it might be on my side or somewhere, just went click, and it was just like
trying to reconnect.
That was really weird, man.
Well, things happen.
Yeah, I know.
As you were saying, there's been some weird things that have been going on over the years.
Definitely.
Definitely.
Yep.
All right.
So you may take it from the top?
Yeah, feel free to do so.
All right.
So my parents bought the property, I think, in 89.
and they didn't develop it all at once,
but eventually we had seven acres,
and eventually we cut a road in and then built the house,
but that didn't happen.
We didn't move in until 2001.
And so it was kind of a process to get, you know, to that point.
But this house, I kind of have to explain,
it was built into the side of a hill.
And then the hill extended back beyond the,
property, kind of like all of the coastal range, are just kind of like big rolling hills in a way.
And so you could hear everything that was back beyond the house in a way, you know,
whether it was elk bugling or coyotes going off or whatever it was, you could hear kind of
everything. But the house was extremely well built. My dad made sure it was planted into the side of that,
that hillside. And so the first experience, so we moved in in 2001, I guess that should be the first thing. We moved in 2001,
and that next, everything happened seasonally. This was an archcape. And yeah, so everything happened
seasonally. It would happen once, we end up living there for about 13 years in total. So I moved out in June of 13.
So, yeah, about 13 years.
And yeah, so I don't remember anything happening that first fall.
It was the next spring.
And the very first event was so strange.
So I was home alone.
It was a Monday, and it was a beautiful day.
It was a beautiful spring day, kind of this time of year, actually, early March, late February.
I didn't have any classes, and I was upstairs, and I was working on a paper for a
and in the office. And all of a sudden, I heard this, you know, we backed up against the
coast range. So that was, that was literally our back of the back of the area. I heard this
crazy commotion coming from that east side of the house. And it sounded like, I was like,
is it a herd of elk? Is it, is it, you know, something charging? But it was coming towards
the house. And so I was really confused by it.
And I just heard branches breaking.
And again, this house was extremely well built.
So it was just like out of the blue, this thing just started charging through the forest.
And the next thing I know, I'm trying to figure out if it's elk or if it's a, you know, earthquake or something.
You know, my adrenaline just kind of dumped at that point.
I jumped up.
And this whole event was probably all like 35 or 40 seconds in total.
But it broke through the tree line.
And then I start hearing, boom, boom, you know, something running.
And I was overlooking the driveway.
No one had driven up.
There was no one there.
But I'm hearing this thing, you know, just charging.
And I'm like, what in the world is this?
You know, so I'm on the opposite side of the house, if that makes any sense.
And so I leave the office and I'm in the hallway.
And then I'm still hearing this.
trying to process what in the world could this thing be, you know? And then the next thing I know,
we had these big wraparound cedar decks. And the next thing I know, it's on the lower deck.
It was literally running on the lower deck. And so I'm hearing this footfall, which doesn't sound
quite right to me. It doesn't sound like a human pattern of like how feet would move. And I have
seen anybody come up and then i'm also hearing this like i don't know how i'll describe like a slap like
a slap of a foot on on the lower deck and i'm i'm like what in the world is going on so i ran to the
closest window which was in my parents bedroom which was just down the hallway so i ran in there
because that overlooked the lower deck and so i looked but it already it was gone it was it had literally
I don't know how anything could move that fast or, I don't know, it was just, it was crazy.
It was really just the weirdest thing.
But that was the first experience.
Yeah, that's weird.
Yeah, it was really, it was really strange.
And I didn't, I really, you know, I wanted to get a glimpse of whatever it could be.
But that was, and I didn't tell anybody about it because I was like, well, I don't know what it was.
And I didn't want to freak my parents out about, like, like,
some strange person running through the woods and like running around the house.
But then over the years, the next experiences were just the vocalizations and then the eyeshine.
I never got a visual on anything, but other than the eye shine.
I did see the eye shine many, many different times.
And I swear those eyes were glowing red.
I don't, and at the time, I didn't know anything, well, you know, growing up in Oregon, you, you know, you grow up with the lore of Sasquatch and I'd heard different stories, but I really wasn't associating it with Sasquatch because I didn't know that that was something that people, you know, reported or saw or anything like that. So I thought they were demonic. Like that was, you know, being a Christian, I just thought, well, glowing red eyes can't be anything good, right? That was.
That was just my take on it.
So I did see those through the different years.
And there was at least, but I will say that the group or the troop that would come through were never really, they never did anything, you know, towards, like towards the animals.
I had a big German shepherd at the time.
and he was really funny.
If I'd be out at the hot tub or something like that,
which ironically was kind of on the edge of like the area where they could have just picked me right out.
He was always, and he had no problem standing down, bear, cougar, or anything like that,
but he would just go and turn towards the house.
Like he would, and I would be my signal.
I'm like, okay, well.
And so I feel like we kind of had detaunt with, you know, with them.
They would just watch.
That was the main thing.
Like those glowing red eyes would just watch and watch and watch, whether inside or, you know,
whether we were inside or they were, you know, outside or whatever.
But, yeah, it was really strange in that respect.
But as far as the vocalizations, I mean, I feel like I heard just about everything.
I mean, I definitely heard the, you know, sharp whistles and the, you know, whoops and even screams,
but they were way back.
Like they would be way back.
The one that I think was the kind of maybe the creepiest to me
was the one that they make that sounds like a howler monkey
mixed with a whistle.
And that would be in movement.
It would always be in tandem with others.
And I feel like that is something where they're driving prey
or driving elk or deer or whatever.
we had all kinds of, you know, everything out there.
This area is very plentiful.
So, you know, whatever they were going after, I felt like that that's something that they did in tandem while they were, they're hunting.
And I've even heard it a couple of times where I live now.
But, yeah, those would be the, I guess that would be the highlights of kind of everything.
But yeah, those glowing red eyes, I really did not like those at all.
The glowing red eyes, do you remember anything, like how high up they were off the ground or how wide they were to each other?
So what was odd, so I would see them sometimes if I got home late from work, I would see them in the tree line.
And the tree line wasn't too terribly far back behind the house.
And they would be up high.
They were up high and the eyes were kind of spread apart.
And a lot of times it would be like three of them together and then another one elsewhere.
But they weren't afraid.
After we were there for like three, four years, they weren't afraid of just being out there.
Like they didn't seem to mind us.
And I guess we didn't seem to mind them.
But then my area was in the daylight basement.
So I had my own kitchen, my own everything down there.
But they would, they, and we always had, we had this yard that kind of went out a little ways and the property kind of dipped down.
And they would be out there.
But then this is what confused me at the time, too, where maybe I thought, you know, it's more demonic or whatever I thought.
They would be lower than like my eye line.
But there was always one that was much taller than the other ones.
I don't know how tall, because that, the property kind of dipped down by, you know, five, six feet, which,
once you were past that yard.
So I don't know how, but he must have been very tall compared to the other two that would be next to him most of the time, which was weird too.
I don't know why they wouldn't always be together.
Sometimes they'd be spread apart.
But a lot of times it would be like the three would be kind of like almost shoulder to shoulder to shoulder.
And I actually got pictures of that eye shine.
But then I don't have that camera anymore.
And it's gone.
Anyway, it's one of those things.
Yeah, that's too bad.
Yeah, I know.
Okay, so I'm hearing you were seeing probably multiple individuals out there at multiple
lights at the same time.
Yeah, yeah, definitely.
Gotcha.
Did other people in your family also hear vocalizations or see these things?
Oh, yeah.
Through the years.
Yeah, we definitely did.
I know my mom, even in daylight hours, she got screamed out a few different times when she
get home from work. And that was during daylight hours too. And of course, freaked her out. And she'd
get in the house very quickly. And yeah, we all heard, you know, no, we all heard the vocalizations.
But one thing that always confused me, too, was my dad had been a forester for 25 years in his first
career. And he worked all over Oregon and Washington and all of that. And that's a whole other
story. But he, you know, he never experienced anything, you know, with, I mean, he's got all kinds of
bear stories and every other thing. But he doesn't, you know, he never encountered Sasquatch or anything
else like that. So, you know, that was always one thing that really confused me, although he was
very open-minded to the idea of it. We did watch a lot of those kind of nature programs and shows,
you know, over the years growing up. But, you know, it was kind of like, well, maybe, maybe not.
Who knows, you know. But yeah, no, we all, after, like I said, after about four or five years of hearing
these crazy, almost sometimes it would sound like it was a, you know, like you were in a
ape exhibit or something, you know, out in the woods. Like, you just hear all these weird,
weird, weird, weird noises. You know, we all just kind of accepted that must be what was going on,
but we just kind of left it with what it was. You know, we weren't going to go, I wasn't going to go out
there and shake a hand. You know, I'm not, I'm not an outdoorsman or anything like that,
but then we lived in the middle of the outdoors. So, you know,
We were on the edge of forest.
So, you know, I don't know.
It was, yeah, it was crazy.
And just so you guys had built this house on the property.
And then did you have neighbors around you at that time?
There were neighbors that were way below us.
But there was a lot of forest in between.
And when you say a lot, are you saying like miles or you can actually see the houses?
Acres.
Yeah, we were on some acres.
but it was still where we were on the edge and then there was a creek on the other side
and that wasn't part of our property but we had access to the the creek and all that so yeah yeah
as part of putting the house up then was there a lot of like clearing brush and cutting down trees
and stuff yeah yeah and one of the things that I think maybe was good you know and listening to a lot
of these you know your podcast and Sasquatch Chronicles and others
you know my dad had cleared because he was a forester right so he had cleared a very large area for the house
because he didn't want a tree coming you know they're big trees he didn't want a tree coming down on
the house and so and then my mom on the other side insisted on always she's from california
always leaving lights on around the house at night so i don't you know they're even though
I think they creeped around the edges.
I don't think they ever got, you know, other than that first experience, I don't think
they ever got that close.
Okay.
So, yeah, that paints a story, too.
So I am, here's what I'm getting.
I'm getting that some, a family shows up.
They clear out a ton of, a good amount of woods to put up a house.
And then not only that, but there's lights on all the time.
All the time.
And so eventually, potentially whatever is out there gets fed up and rushes through the woods and just is like, I'm going to jump on top of this house porch and make some racket.
And then you start getting screamed at it.
And I mean, it kind of makes sense.
Yeah.
And it was only, you know, like I said, it was only in the fall and in the spring that they would come through.
I don't know.
And, you know, the whole energy would change when they would come through.
Like, you could feel when they were out there.
And like I said, my, you know, that my German Shepherd, I don't know if I finished that story, but he absolutely knew when they were around.
And he would just head for the house.
You know, he didn't want, and he was not afraid of anything at all.
But he knew, he knew better.
And he, you know, but they also didn't mess with, you know, any of, you know, we had other other dogs and kids around at times.
And they never, they never messed with anything, you know.
know as far as that went. So I feel like they kind of just accepted us at a point and it was all,
you know, hunky dory. I don't know. Sure. Were there any conversations ever with neighbors
about what was going on or anything I thought? No, no, no. Not that I, not that I can recall.
Gotcha. You mentioned earlier at the beginning that you do have a Christian background.
And so, and so I as well, and so I can, you know, we have a very similar mindset on things, I would assume.
And so what I am curious about then is you've mentioned a few times where there was a thought that what was going on was demonic.
And I'm wondering how you got to that thought.
well yeah i mean i was experiencing i mean whether whether they were around or not
it was a beautiful property you know it really was it was an you know it was uh incredibly
peaceful most of the time but there would be times where there would just be a lot of
uh spiritual activity you know things would be it never felt like anything last
It just felt like things could move through.
And I don't know how else to put that.
I don't like the term portal because I think that's really not quite right.
But it felt like things could just move.
I don't know, could move through.
I would have the craziest dreams.
I would have, I mean, vivid, vivid dreams.
I had constantly sleep paralysis, that sort of thing.
And for a while when we first got there, I mean, I was only 18 when we first moved in.
42 now, but, you know, I thought I was going crazy because I was like, why am I seeing all, you know,
why am I seeing these things? Why am I experiencing all this? And then, you know, I ended up with
a good friend of mine whose dad was really into spiritual warfare. His dad was. And so, you know,
I was able to talk to him about something. He was like, oh, well, I think you're just, you know,
you have, you have the gift of discernment. You're able to see into that world. And that's what's, that's
going on and you're in an area where you can understand that. And, you know, so that's, I began to kind of,
I really delved into that. And I think you need to be really careful when you dive into that,
because it's really, I don't know, I don't know how far I should go with that. But you have to,
you just have to be careful. You have to be careful of what you're entangling with. But some of it
was really amazing too. Like there was, I, I know that I saw angelic presence. I saw demonic presence. I saw
a lot of different things there. And, you know, the funniest thing to me is I've, I've, before and now after,
I've lived other places and I haven't, I will still experience things from time to time, but I haven't had
those experiences that I had there. And those experiences were just, I don't know, they just, they definitely
develop my my spiritual knees if you will you know i had to i had to figure it out and figure out how
to navigate it um yeah okay um yeah that that really does put a whole another spin on it um
if at any point i'm bringing up stuff that you're not comfortable with just say hey can we
move on um you're good i think it's important though can we because we had talked before about
the certain denomination of your upbringing when it comes to Christianity.
And then I also shared, hey, I'm also Baptist.
Here's the thing.
And maybe this is because I grew up Baptist on the other side of the country.
They don't play with, you know, like spiritual warfare and stuff like that.
It's like, no.
I mean, my goodness, if you.
if you're in church and you like raise your hands,
like you're,
you're out of there.
You know what I mean?
Like,
and that was northeast where I was growing up.
But it's like there's not really,
um,
you do not play it.
And it's,
it's crazy because it's not like the spiritual stuff in the Bible stopped
happening in the Bible.
It's like you don't play around with the spiritual stuff.
Well,
right.
Well, I mean,
come on guys.
It's like what,
what's going on?
There's this whole spiritual background we can't see.
Or it sounds like in your case,
you were able to,
kind of see what was going on.
Yeah, I definitely, I could, I could feel it, I could sense it.
We're living there.
Yeah, I could definitely see it.
I mean, from, you know, the little, I don't know, like black balls, you know, going through, you know, like those sorts of things or even, you know, the angelic presents differently.
It presents as like sphere, almost like spheres of.
light. It's very different, but it's the exact opposite, an exact opposite feeling that it gives
as well. But yeah, it was very, it was very present there after I was able to really figure it out
and figure out, okay, this is, this is what I'm dealing with, this is what's going on. And I've got to,
well, especially with, I think the thing that bothered me with the most was the sleep paralysis,
you know, because I would have that and I would, it was like at least once a month, at least once a month.
And, you know, you couldn't, I couldn't, it would be holding me down so hard that I couldn't speak.
You know, I couldn't even.
And the only thing I could get out was in the name of Jesus, you know, leave.
And then it would go, you know, but I, but it would, it would, I would have to work up to being able to even get that out, you know.
And yeah, I don't, I don't know.
That was the, the thinking back on it now is my older self.
I don't know.
I mean, it was the weird, because I haven't experienced it in so many years, but, but that was, that was the worst.
I hated it.
And I, I would literally have to, I would go to bed and I would, I would, you know, say a prayer.
Oh, I just, I just need to be looked after.
I need, you know, I need protection, you know, all of that.
Because I just had to.
There was no other way around it.
Okay.
There's a few things from that.
So you were actually seeing, you're saying black orbs of light.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah, because that's going to be, depending on your worldview that you're listening to this with,
that's going to be interpreted multiple ways.
Because, you know, as you've listened to these shows, I mean, that's part of,
of what people are seeing when they have big foot around, which is you're seeing
orbs of light.
It's very interesting.
So you're more interpreting them as an angelic type of presence.
Well, I don't know if I'm, I don't know how I'm interpreting them as I don't know what
they are.
That's what I feel like that's the question.
I feel like there's so much circumstantial evidence at this point that like the question is
what are they or what are certain ones because it could depend on what area you're you know you're in
i don't know but i don't but they weren't around all the time you know i i come back to that
the other stuff happened like all the time so you know what you know what piece is this and what
piece is that i'm not really sure sure okay and that makes any sense yeah it does are they were they
different colors or different shapes or sizes or were they pretty much uniform?
Oh, well, I mean, when I would see, well, the demonic was always dark.
Sometimes I would see, you know, I could see more in my dreams than other things, but
the angelic was always light. The angelic was always beams of light. You know, that's how
they presented was, were as beams of light. But at the same time, and, and, and, and,
And I could sense them, you know, sometimes I didn't see them, but I could sense them around and back and forth.
You know, it was kind of, it was, it was a very, yeah, strange thing in that sense.
But, yeah.
Okay.
Was there any correlation of they would show up around times when there might be Bigfoot activity, or did they not really seem to be connected at all?
I suppose they did, but I don't, I mean, I wasn't, unfortunately, I wasn't documenting.
And I think back on that and I'm like, why wasn't I writing all this down?
But, you know, in the very beginning, I wasn't thinking, well, I don't know.
Well, in the beginning, I thought I was going crazy.
But then I realized, okay, then we're all experiencing things, you know, as a family.
And it's like, okay, well, you know, there's more going on here.
So sorry, I remember why I brought up the Baptist thing.
I was like, why did I bring that up?
I just remembered why.
So this might ruffle a bit of feathers for certain listeners.
So you got to understand.
So most Baptists, they don't get into the spiritual warfare stuff or like gifts of the spirit.
That's like, we don't talk about that.
That's whatever.
But so I bring that up because it's not like you're in a denomination where it's more like assembly of God perchance,
where you're constantly, that's in everything you're talking about, you know, like
spiritual warfare and demons and angels, so you're like really immersed in that.
So that kind of, it gives your account a whole different viewpoint because you're Christian,
so you have that worldview, but you're a part of Christianity where you're not really
playing around with that stuff and for it to start to happen to you.
That's pretty wild.
Yeah, but I also grew up in a family that was really,
very okay with that. I had a grandfather that was, uh, had the gift of, of healing. And so,
uh, great grandfather. And so I, I, I, he lived to be 106 years old. Uh, so I, you know, I kind of
grew up with, uh, knowing that this is maybe how we're being taught, but we're not being taught
everything. Um, I also have a little bit of Cherokee Choctaw in my blood. So maybe that
affects something somehow. I don't really know. I don't have that much, but I have a little bit.
So, I don't know.
I mean, all the, it's, again, one of these, it's a puzzle piece as far as all that goes.
But I was never taught to not be okay with the spiritual.
And I think because I did experience things when I was a kid as well, you know, I did experience certain things.
So, you know, I think I always was aware and, you know, I had siblings that had experiences too.
So I think it was always just kind of there.
I don't know.
Yeah, now that makes sense, especially when you have that other pieces of information.
It may have been something where it was more dormant in a way, but which, you know, if you listen to other accounts, sometimes if you have things in the family history, that can affect as well.
But why do you think that utilizing or saying the name of Jesus was the only,
thing that would
like stop your sleep
your sleep paralysis episodes
well there's power in the name
that's it
there's power in the name
I think that's what it comes down to
and you know I would
when those eyes I would see them out
outside that lower basement
I you know I'd pray against them
because I did you know I literally thought
it was something demonic at the time
and they'd go away
so there's some
sort of, there's, I'm not saying that Bigfoot are spiritual necessarily or what they are,
but there's some sort of connection. There's some sort of, I don't know. I would, I would,
I would testify to that. I think there's, there's some sort of connection between them and

sponsored jobs. The world isn't getting any calmer. Economic instability, global conflicts, and record
national debt have created an environment where financial uncertainty is a part of everyday life. And
while none of us can control those forces, we can control how prepared we are for them. Market swings are
hitting retirement accounts and savings harder than ever, leaving many Americans wondering how to
protect what they've built. That's why people are exploring physical gold and silver as a part of a
broader strategy. These are tangible assets with a long history of being used when,
confidence in traditional markets waivers. They're not a promise of returns and they're not a
replacement for existing investments. They're simply another tool to help diversify our portfolio.

And at the very least, anything that is on the earth or around here is under, you know, the power of the name of Jesus, as you said.
So it's like, yeah, we may not know exactly what they are, but that's just fascinating.
So you were able to get the glowing red eyes to get out of there by praying and.
Yep.
Yeah.
They would leave.
They would leave.
And so, yeah, and I, you know, and so that may be, well, that made me believe even more that they were obviously. Well, they had to be demonic then. You know, I didn't, again, this was back in the early odds. So like, you know, like there just wasn't that much information about, you know, I mean, obviously there were books and things out there, but there wasn't as much information as there is now. Now hearing other people's accounts and stories like, oh, well, that kind of, you know, matches what happened with us.
what happened there and all that.
So. Yeah.
There's at least one other episode I've done about Arch Cape, which is interesting because
it kind of goes into it a little bit where the witness received a, like, telepathy or telepathic
message to leave the area while sitting near the tree line.
So that's kind of like, well, the other, you know, that's something else.
It might be going on.
But did you guys ever, did anyone ever report having any messages or telepathic type things happen or weird thoughts?
No, no, nothing like that.
I did, you know, I would have at various times friends come over or spend the night or whatever.
And there were different people that would be like, I am never coming back to that house because what I,
whatever, you know, whatever experience, dream they had, whatever else it was, they were just
uncomfortable with it. And then I had a friend of mine that he had driven up, probably was
towards the end of when I was living there. But anyway, he had driven up, and he was there a little
bit before me. It was later at night. And he saw all these orbs, you know, glowing or, and I never
saw that. I never saw like the, you know, round glowing orbs. I never saw that. But he saw that. Anyway, he was,
he was charging down the driveway as I was heading up. I was like, what's going on? I thought you were coming
over. And he was like, oh, no, I, you know, he was like, I just, he explained exactly what he saw.
And I was like, oh, okay, well, that's really strange. I've never seen that. And so I, you know,
drove up and nothing was there. Nothing was in that, that side of the forest. But,
I just had the weirdest feeling being there.
I was trying to kind of pray it away, whatever, and it just wouldn't go.
So after about, I don't know, 30 minutes or so, I'm like, I'm going to go stay somewhere else.
So I went to another friend's place and spent the night because I just couldn't, I don't know, the feeling was just the energy was just too off.
Yeah, absolutely.
So trying to remember exactly how you put it.
You're saying that you don't believe in in portals, but you think there are things going on there for definitely.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't, I mean, I don't like the term.
I just don't like the, I don't like the term, I think, but I do think, to put it another way, the atmosphere was very thin, if that makes any sense, to where I felt like there could be positive.
negative whatever energy movement through that area where we lived that just could move through.
And that's what it felt like because it didn't feel like, yeah, it didn't feel like it
could necessarily be exercised from the place. It just felt like this was a fault line where
things could just move through. I don't know how else to put it.
Yeah, no, it makes sense.
I've been in areas where I'm trying to think of how to put it.
You can feel almost like the atmosphere shift.
Yeah.
And you're like, the few times I've had it happen, I've been like, uh-oh.
Yeah.
Get ready because it's, I mean, it's either Bigfoot or if it's happening somewhere else and you're not out in the woods, then you need to be.
be ready for whatever might be in the place where you're at with you, you know.
Right, right.
That's, yeah, and that's exactly how it was.
Yeah.
Yeah, I don't know.
And I don't know that that whole area is that way.
I mean, we, we really did butt up right against the forest.
So I don't really, you know, I've been, I've driven through there a lot of times, but I've
never, and I've been to other friends' homes that live down in that area.
And I've never really felt that same kind of energy.
So I don't know that it's like that whole area of Arch Cape or anything like that.
But I do know that it's very remote.
It's a very, very rural area.
You know, you're right along the 101.
There's not much that goes up towards the trees in that sense.
Most of it's right along, you know, the beach, which is where the multimillion-dollar homes are.
But, you know, there's there's not a lot that's on that other side.
So I don't know.
I don't know.
It'd be interesting of other people have other, you know, other experiences from that area, for sure.
It is a fascinating story or it's a fascinating account, I should say.
And it's just, it is, I mean, it's really interesting.
It's come out a few times lately, stuff that's not out yet where,
talking this one guy in Oregon over by Mount Hood.
And he was having all sorts of oppression
and to do with Bigfoot and spiritual stuff.
He had a Jewish background.
So he was using all these Jewish names
and he didn't really know anything about, you know,
but he just happened to use the name of Jesus
and it like made it all get out of there.
oh, what's up with that one?
Right.
Yeah, there's something up with that one for sure.
Yeah.
It's awesome.
Well, I do know that, you know, on Wes's site, you know, he has some accounts of that as well,
because that's where I first started listening to, you know, Bigfoot things.
And, you know, he does have multiple accounts of people like praying it off.
you know and it's like it is it's a really what's what's the i don't know i don't know what's the connection
there but i do think that there's a connection there and i think it's something that i don't know
i you know how i don't know i mean i'm not one that's a researcher or or a woods person to go out
and you know necessary look for them especially not on my own property but you know i would
definitely wouldn't mind seeing one you know somewhere else
But yeah, I don't know.
I don't know what to say about the rest.
Right.
And I was going to ask that as well here near the end,
so it sounds like you're at the point where you've had all this stuff happen.
But at this point, you know, you're kind of into the Bigfoot stuff.
You listen to this stuff, but you're not actively looking to try to figure out the mystery.
No.
I mean, I like the idea.
I like the idea of it, but then at the same time, I'm like, well, I don't know.
I don't know if I really, I feel like I know enough, and I don't know.
I don't know that I really want to do more digging, I guess.
Yeah.
But maybe.
I don't know.
I'm kind of 50-50, I guess.
I definitely get it.
I think it's important that listeners get that because there's a lot of people that listen to shows like this where they're like, oh, yeah, Bigfoot.
I love the encounters and stuff.
I'm going to start looking.
Well, you need to be aware.
So a lot of the old timers would tell me when I first got into this,
would be careful, I would be like, I just want to have an encounter.
I'm still like that.
But I just want to have something happen and be careful what you wish for.
And like you get it because if you start to get into it and you start to get out there
in places like Oregon or wherever, and like it does get weird.
And as I'm starting to say.
It's more than it's more the mental.
stuff.
It's that, you know, whether you look at that is, you know,
people have all different labels.
I look at it as spiritual, but, you know, energy or whatever you want to say,
there's something really different about whatever these are,
this, you know, Sasquatch are, that needs to,
I don't know.
You just have to be kind of,
wary on it. I don't know how else to put it, but careful, careful what you want and careful what you
wish for. And that's what I would say. And again, I never had a bad, you know, experience by any means.
I definitely didn't. The first runaround was kind of weird. But other than that, I mean, you know,
we didn't really have anything bad. Nothing happened. But at the same time, you know, the
things are very powerful and you know if you do end up with you know say a rogue one or whatever
else i mean they could do some real damage i would think you know absolutely i i agree with you
i mean it's it's a fun topic but yeah you got to be aware and prepared and whatever you find
your strength then you need to be prepared to uh rely on that and uh because you never know what's
going to happen it could get really really wild out there and
could get wild in your own home too afterwards.
Yeah.
Yeah, but don't be afraid to use, this is what I would say to your listeners is don't be
afraid to use, if you're a Christian, don't be afraid to use the name of Jesus because
it will, it does do things, it will shift things.
I can, I can promise you that.
Yeah, I agree with you 100% on that.
But Jay, thank you so much for spending some time and sharing what you're in.
experiences were and I just want to make sure that you were able to share everything that you came
to the show to share about today. Yeah, absolutely. Thank you, Jeremiah. I appreciate it. And appreciate
all you do. Have you ever heard all the accounts of Bigfoot activity around Oak Ridge, Oregon?
And you think to yourself, man, I would love to get out in those woods and experience it for myself.
Well, guess what? This year, you can. If this is interesting to you, stay tuned because it's pretty
cool.
Sasquatch Summerfest is coming up July 10th through the 11th, 2026.
It's going to be even better than the previous year's reason number one.
I'll be one of the speakers.
It's going to be wild.
I'll probably, I'll say this.
There may be stuff you haven't heard anywhere else because let's just say sometimes it's,
well, you just got to be there.
We'll leave it that.
More about looking for Bigfoot in the Oak Ridge Woods.

Before we wrap this episode, I want to say something directly to a very specific group of listeners.
If you're in the military, any branch, or forces, and if you've seen something that no one can explain,
or if you're a national park ranger or forestry worker who's been told to stay quiet,
if you're a pilot who's seen something strange down on the ground,
or if you're with the FBI, a federal agency, or working intelligence,
and you stumbled upon something you're not allowed to talk about.
And if you're a firefighter, paramedic, or search and rescue responder,
who's heard screams or found tracks that didn't make sense,
if you're in the logging industry on a remote oil field or trucker with government contracts,
and you've had something happen that you've never told a soul,
and if you're a biologist, a wildlife specialist, or a field researcher under contract,
who has found evidence you're not allowed to report,
if you're a pastor, a missionary, or someone on a spiritual retreat,
and you saw something that shook your faith,
or if you work in the shadows, CIA, NSA, or anything with clearance,
and you've seen what the public hasn't,
then I want to talk to you.
