Episode Date: September 18, 2026A late-night drive into Oregon’s remote Silver Falls Wilderness became a fight to stay on the road.Gloria was traveling with her children when multiple upright shadows began crossing through her hea...dlights. The figures moved closer as she climbed higher into the mountains. After she turned the Jeep around, a massive figure charged down the hillside and struck the vehicle, pushing one tire over the edge of a steep drop. When Gloria reached home, she discovered a huge hand-shaped dent in the side of the Jeep.Years later, Gloria’s family began experiencing repeated activity at secluded campsites in Oregon’s Klamath area. Seven family members have reportedly witnessed figures near the trees and creek. They have also documented enormous tracks, handprints on their RV, strange vocalizations, camp disturbances, and small objects apparently left in response to gifts.Gloria shares the full story of the night near Silver Falls, the unsettling history of the locked road, and the encounters her family says are still happening today.Get the free Bigfoot hotspots report: https://bit.ly/bfsreport📖 Follow Jeremiah's cancer health updates here:https://www.caringbridge.org/site/569ef3d3-68be-11f1-8790-97fdfd2bbc64🗣️ Share Your StoryHad a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience?Send it to bigfootsociety@gmail.com – your story might be featured on the show!🎥 Watch & Subscribe on YouTube🔴 Subscribe here → Bigfoot Society YouTube💬 Leave a comment & let us know your thoughts!📞 Leave a voicemail with your story → Speakpipe (Use multiple voicemails if needed)👥 Share this episode → Watch & Share🎧 More episodes → Podcast Playlist🌲 Recommended: New Jersey Bigfoot Encounters💥 Support the Show & Get Perks✅ Join the community on Supercast – Become a Member✅ Listen ad-free & early on YouTube – Join Here📱 Let’s ConnectInstagram: @bigfootsocietyTwitter: @bigfoot_societyTikTok: @bigfoot.society🧰 Tools & Partners I Use (Affiliate Links)These help support the show at no extra cost to you:Beam (Better Sleep): Try BeamWildgrain (Better Bread): Join HereSeed (Probiotics): Get SeedMedi-Share (Healthcare): Learn MoreLMNT (Electrolytes) Free Sample Pack with your first purchase! : Get LMNTOrganic and non-GMO groceries delivered for lesshttp://thrv.me/uarEhS🎙️ Podcasting Tools:Repurpose.io: Try ItDescript: Sign UpStreamyard: Start RecordingRiverside.fm: Try Riverside🎧 My Audio Interface: View on Amazon☕ Buy Me a Coffee – Support Here🛍️ Grab Some Merch – Shop on Etsy📬 Mailing Address:Bigfoot Society125 E 1st St. #233Earlham, IA 50072

just as I got turned around, something hit the side of my Jeep and pushed me towards the cliff,
and one of my tires was now hanging off the side of the road.
In 2018, Gloria drove through an open gate into Oregon's remote Silver Falls Wilderness with her children in the Jeep.
Upright shadows began crossing the snow-covered road,
and the gate carried a history she would only learn after returning.
What was moving alongside her vehicle that night.
I'm Jeremiah Byron, and this is Bigfoot Society.
start with my first experience. I wasn't really a big foot believer. And my ex-husband and I used to
explore lots of mountain ranges and just go for drives. I had my Jeep and I felt like I could just
go anywhere. And one night we were having a disagreement. So I loaded the kids up in my Jeep and we
went for a drive up towards like the Silver Falls wilderness area and I've been told several times
not to go out there by myself but I figured I'm in my Jeep and I'll be fine I know the roads
while I was up on the mountains I came up across a road that we hadn't gotten to explore yet
because the gates usually closed and locked and this was about
probably towards like the beginning of fall.
And around that area, we don't usually get snowed by then.
But as I continued up this road, it was a pretty narrow road.
We had a cliff on one, like kind of like cliff on one side and then the hillside on the other.
And it got down to where it was like a one lane.
And my Jeep could, it was pretty tight.
And I drive.
up this road for quite a while and I run in the snow, which was really odd to me.
And then I start seeing like these shadows run across the road.
And I'm like, well, maybe it's just my lights reflecting off the snow and it's, you know,
I'm out in the woods.
Of course, I'm going to see things.
And these shadows were, I mean, they were larger than the signs.
and walking upright as they crossed.
And so I thought nothing of it and continued down.
And I kept seeing more and more.
And I got this really eerie feeling like I shouldn't be down here.
And the road kept getting worse with the snow and everything.
And I started seeing these shadows pass in my rear view.
mirror and not just in my headlights. And I could see the trees moving and almost shadows on my
right side where the hillside was. And my left side's like a drop off cliff. And I was like,
okay, well, I've had enough. There's nowhere to turn around. So I managed to do like a five point
turn around and get to where my Jeep was facing downhill to where I can follow the trail I took
up back down and just as I got turned around something hit the side of my Jeep and pushed me towards
the cliff and one of my tires was now hanging off the side of the road and I oh gosh that and my kids were
sleeping in the back and I at this point I was kind of freaking out and my Jeep was already in four-wheel
drive because of the snow and I took off and raised down the hillside and back home and when I got
home to this day there's still a dent in the side of my Jeep of a huge handprint and I've had my
husband now
he's actually fit his
hand into it and it's it's a lot
bigger than his hand
and he's a
pretty big guy and
that was
that was a really scary moment
I went and told my ex-husband's
grandpa about it and my
ex-husband and
we went back up the next day
and
the gate was closed at
that point.
But you can see my tire tracks on the other side of the gate, like where I had driven
through the previous night.
And his grandpa told me that that gate hasn't been open since the 60s due to a big foot
attack.
And if I had went like maybe a half mile further down that road, there's actually a Volkswagen
bus that has been flipped over and abandoned and everything.
from way back in the 60s.
And so that's why that gate's always been closed.
And I've gone up again several times since then, and the gate is still closed.
I've talked to a lot of people in that area, and they believe that, you know, my first
experience, it was more like Bigfoot was doing, like, more of a loring kind of technique.
And I've never experienced anything like that.
before or since then but that was my very first experience.
Gloria, that is absolutely intense.
My goodness, I have a few questions for you and I think it might be good
for us to go over that right now before your other encounter.
But so yeah, my goodness, a few things to ask you about.
So a lot of people are going to be, this is actually a question
I asked you before too, but so this is not the Silver Falls State Park area.
This is different than that, correct?
Yes, this is the Silver Falls Wilderness Area.
Okay.
And then is there any other way to describe what area that is?
It's not one that I see coming up on maps when you search for like Silver Falls Wilderness.
So they do have like a back row that goes from Silver Falls.
all the way through
and it'll take you to
Highway 22.
Okay.
Okay.
So it's south of
south of the state park then?
It's what it sounds like.
It's kind of like southeast.
Got it.
Okay.
I know exactly what you're talking about now.
Okay.
Yeah, sure.
That area is extremely rugged.
From what I've heard about,
I've never been out there.
But,
um,
this would be.
for the fires of 2020.
This was quite a few years ago.
So I'm sure fires affected that area quite a bit.
Oh, absolutely.
And that's another question I was actually going to ask you.
What approximate year was this that happened?
This was probably about 2018.
Okay.
So, I mean, that is, that's relatively recent.
That's less than 10 years.
That is recent for you.
How far out there were you when you started seeing the shadows crossing the road?
So I was on the dirt road.
I mean, I left the highway and was on the dirt road for probably about a good hour and a half.
Okay.
And one thing I learned out there, because I've been out there a few times.
I know what I am at and the roads get pretty wild.
And so when we think of an hour and a half of travel,
that could be totally different than if you're just going somewhere on the highway.
It's a different story.
Do you have any idea of how many,
we're talking maybe a few miles or a lot of miles?
It was, I mean, it was pretty out there.
I mean, you're going through washboards.
and I mean, I would not recommend taking anything that's not a four-wheel drive.
There's lots of lumber roads, I mean, lumber roads that they haven't used in a long time,
not like fresh ones that they are doing logging and stuff.
But it's pretty out there.
And I mean, I was, at this point, I was close to the peak of that.
that mountain there. Gotcha. So they're close to the peak of a large mountain in the area is what you're saying.
Yes. And there's there's not a lot of traffic. It's really isolated there. I mean, it's,
it's a good place to be quiet. Yeah, absolutely. It's a good thing for something that some place,
there's something to hide into. I mean, it sounds like you're out there. Oh, yeah. And nothing else is out there.
And back then, I mean, the forest there was, it was thick.
I mean, you had a lot of underbrush.
You had, I mean, lots of trees, lots of fallen trees.
And then I just thought it was really odd for it to be fall.
And I came in the snow.
But when I came down from the mountain and looked up, I couldn't see any snow.
That is interesting.
I've heard of, you know, not, I'm a individual I live out in the Midwest, but I mean, I do hear the stories where it's like, hey, certain times of the years, you wouldn't think of it.
Like, you better have the chains on the car if you're going over the cascades and things like it.
It's just a while.
It's a different story out there.
But I guess you never know if you're going to run into snow, right?
Yeah.
It's, yeah.
absolutely
but
yeah I wish
I
yeah I wish when
I could find the picture
I took of the handprint
on the side of my Jeep
but I have so many pictures
to dig through that
it was pretty hard to look back
that far
oh yeah
absolutely if you ever do find it
I would love to see it
but no pressure there
so you kind of mentioned
already that the kids were asleep
Was there any point when the kids were awake and they also saw the shadows or they were asleep the whole time?
So my two younger ones were asleep in the back seat and my older one was in the front seat and he did see the shadows as well.
And he's like he kept asking me like, what was that?
What was that?
And when they came down the hillside, it was like a charge.
and they came charge.
It was a big guy, and he came charging down the side of the hillside right into the side of my Jeep,
which was like right behind the back seat there.
And that's what woke up my oldest, and he could see the shadows then.
And it was like, it was like we were encircled.
And I just hit the gas and I was like, we need to get out of here.
And I floored it because it was just like I shouldn't be out here by myself with the kids.
I understand why you don't go out in the mountains by yourself now.
And yeah, it was a really scary moment.
And I didn't expect my first experience to be like that.
That's, it's an extremely intense.
It's one of the more intense ones I've heard.
So just to make sure I get it right in my mind.
So you're driving all of a sudden something barrels down the side of the hill or the mountain towards your vehicle, hits it hard with his hand, hard enough that you are knocked towards the side of the cliff and one of your wheels is off the road.
Is that right?
Yes.
Yes.
Oh, my goodness.
Back then, I didn't know much about Bigfoot because I didn't really follow.
and there was almost like there was some kind of,
I don't even know how to explain it on my way before I turned around.
There was like, I guess like a gruntural murmuring around.
And I'm going up the mountain.
So I'm thinking, okay, it's just the wind.
It's just my life playing tricks on, you know,
tricks on the signs and reflectors and everything.
And so I was just like I was trying to convince myself that it was nothing.
until it was
I was at the point where I was like
okay there was something
and
but
when
right before
he came down
the hillside it was
there was almost like
I don't know
it's like a
howling shout
kind of thing
and then
there was the big bang on my Jeep
and then
that was my time to go.
I was out of there.
Oh, yeah.
And I obviously was in some kind of territory that I was not supposed to be in,
and I could understand why that gate was closed all the time.
100%.
I mean, how tall were the signs?
You mentioned that they were larger than the signs out there?
So they do, there are signs there.
Like, you have your mile post signs, basically.
And then you have, there was, there was other signs.
And I can't remember what they said,
but they were like your regular road signs that are diamond shaped.
Okay.
And, um, I'm in, I was in my lifted Jeep and my Jeep was lifted about,
I want to say it was like six inches at that time.
And they were kind of level.
to the jeeps roof.
Okay.
And if you were to estimate, then how tall that would mean they were, what would you think?
The shadows, gosh, the first ones, they seemed smaller.
The further I went, the shadows seemed to have gotten larger and thicker.
And I saw most of them were like,
side profile, but a feet, like, I want to say like two or three of them were like, I could see,
they look like a huge football player kind of stance. And they, the big guys were probably about
seven, seven, I would say about seven feet or more. And then the smaller ones, they were
running about maybe six foot. Interesting.
but I know half the answer to this because one hit your Jeep but in general how close would you say they were getting to the Jeep except for the one that you know besides the one that hit hit it would hit your Jeep with its hand so a few of them I felt like I could reach out and touch them I had my windows up but I felt like if I had my windows down I could just reach out and touch and then um
There was others that were in the trees that, I mean, the hillside was right up by my Jeep because it was a narrow road.
And if you were on the passenger side, I mean, they were probably maybe four feet away from that.
Oh, my goodness.
So when you say they were in the trees, they were not up in the trees, but they were on the ground?
No, they were on the hillside.
the ground by the trees, but they were using the trees as like, because you couldn't see their
shadows since they were in the trees and it was like dark. You couldn't really see their shadows
very much, but you could hear them. And you can see the trees moving. And it wasn't, and that was,
that was me trying to conclude, oh yeah, it's the wind, but only certain trees were moving.
Not like all of your trees would move with the wind.
And yeah, that was, they got really, really close.
And then I guess the further I went, the more uncomfortable that they were.
And they just wanted me out of there.
And I had that feeling like I really shouldn't be here.
I should turn around.
But I want to see where this goes.
And I kept going.
and it was just and the further I went I mean the road was narrow and it twisted alongside of the hill and like it was just a complete drop on one side on the driver's side and it was and it was like it's snowing it's not snowing but there's snow on the ground and it's like okay well I think I should turn around because you do not get self-service up there either I would definitely imagine that
Was there any point when you were able to see them as not a shadow and more clearly?
That was about when I turned around.
They had, they were dark, they were, it wasn't like a dark red, it was like a dark, dark brown, almost black.
And I could, I saw the big guy heading down the cliff and or down the hillside at.
me and he was I mean if he was standing in front of my Jeep instead of hitting me in the
side he probably was as almost as thick as my Jeep was okay that's really interesting
so when that guy came down towards you you're able to get a good look at him it sounds like
were you able to notice any details that really stuck out in your mind about what was coming
towards the Jeep?
I just, I was really, really scared.
The way that he came down, it was like there was nothing that was going to be in his way,
including me.
There was no, I mean, there was rocks and boulders on this hillside.
And he just, he went through them like they were nothing.
And I could tell by the way that he was coming.
he was not happy about my presence there.
And, I mean, it's to be expected.
I rolled up on his family.
And so, but it didn't look like he had like a neck.
It was more like he, maybe it was his fur that just kind of blended into his shoulders.
And he kind of like, as he was coming down the hillside, he kind of like leaned into
the hillside like hunched over and his strides were probably about I mean he was taking big strides
and he was able to just step over a boulder like nothing and he was definitely on a mission I
wish I wanted the reason I went back the next day is because I wanted to go and see if there was
any more footprints or anything and we couldn't get past that gate because I'm
And all my experiences, I think he was the biggest one I have ever seen.
His arms and legs were really, really thick, not just his shoulders, or not just his chest,
but like his shoulders, his arms, his legs were like massive.
It was, I wish, I mean, I'd say probably about a 15-inch diameter on each leg.
Oh, wow.
were you able to see anything clearly about the head or the facial features at all when it was coming towards you?
I couldn't really see his face because of all the hair.
It wasn't like really short hair.
It wasn't extremely long.
But, I mean, it was, and with him hunched over, I couldn't really see his face.
But his head, I mean, it was proportionate to his body.
I mean, it was pretty big around too, but as for his face, I couldn't see much of his face.
Interesting.
Have you ever seen any individual in sports or movies that comes close to the size of what was coming towards you that day?
I'm close to the size.
Andre the Giant.
Okay.
Wow.
That's pretty big.
That's massive.
He was a big guy.
Rest in peace.
My goodness.
Andre the Giant.
Fantastic.
So a few more questions about this.
This is such an incredible experience.
Now, you mentioned you talked to some relatives.
Did you ever try reporting this to like forestry or anything, anyone in authority besides your relatives?
No. A lot of people, I've noticed I kind of, after I talked to my relatives, when I went to go talk to anybody else, they kind of just looked at me like I was crazy.
And so I just kind of kept the story to myself after that. And so it's the first time I've actually ever really talked about it.
Wow. That's incredible. Thank you for that. That really means a lot that you are.
are trusting this platform with your experience. Why choose to come forward now?
My husband now and I have experienced a lot and he follows a lot of Bigfoot things.
And he's the one that got me in contact with you and told me to reach out to you to share some of our experiences.
this one that I just shared is one prior before I met him.
And so I was relieved to be able to share that experience with him and him not be like,
okay, you're crazy.
Absolutely.
But I was like, okay, well, yeah, I can share the experiences.
And he's very private.
He doesn't like to share and talk a lot and everything.
And so it's like, well, I can share our experiences.
and I can share my experiences, so I'll do it.
Yeah, and thank you to him for reaching out to me through email.
I remember talking to him recently.
Now, this story you alluded to, this historical account, I found very interesting.
You said that your ex-husband's grandpa said this gate hasn't been open since the 1960s due to a Bigfoot attack,
and there's a flipped over VW bus in the same area.
I got that right, Craig.
So, I guess leading up to that question is after this experience, when you have a traumatic Bigfoot experience, I've noticed that some witnesses will just completely shut down and they'll say, I don't want anything to do with this.
But sometimes there's witnesses that really get into it and they're like, I need to figure this out.
How did this affect you after you had your experience?
So I kind of freaked out.
I didn't, I didn't really want to go out in the woods anymore by myself.
I kind of just self-isolated.
I didn't, I was, I thought that traumatized.
That's a good word you said.
It was, it was like I'm not going to go looking for it anymore.
I actually didn't get involved with Bigfoot.
a lot after that because I'm of that experience.
But going out with my husband now, he's kind of reintroduced me.
And we've had a lot better experiences than that.
And it's something that I'm not scared of anymore and more have like, I guess, of an understanding and respect of like, okay, well,
You know, they're obviously not okay with me going over there, so let's not push it.
And just like anybody else, you respect somebody's face.
And once you, once I got to that point of, okay, well, respecting how, what some things make me feel and how other things are reacting, it's, it's been, I haven't had a traumatizing experience.
I've had some questionable and, you know, okay, this is kind of weird, but not, nothing like that again.
I think it's a really important point that you brought up there where it really does come down to respect with when you're dealing with situations like this and you're out there and, you know, just have respect.
Don't try to trick them.
If you feel like it's time to go, it's time to go.
Don't push it, right?
Exactly.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
One more question about this first encounter here.
So have you ever looked to see if you can find other experiences or encounters that have
happened in the same area or any more information about the Bigfoot attack from the 1960s and flipped over VW?
bus it seems like the people i did talk to um they were they were a lot older um the ones from
the that you remember the whole 1960s thing um they they were a lot older and they um some of them
were bloggers at that time and um they shared a little bit of like oh yeah i know what you're
talking about or yeah um they described the whole scene to me of um there's there's the bus flipped over
and i guess what had happened was um they basically the they basically um was doing what i was doing
and um they just went further up and then they started having issues with their car and it ran out of
gas and then um so they stayed in the the Volkswagen bus and
And then I guess that night is when the Bigfoot came out and they wrecked the whole camp that they had there and flipped the bus over.
And I'm not sure.
That's where the story that I was getting from them was,
I'm not sure if the people made it out.
Nobody really knows what happened to the people that were there.
but the forestry gate has been closed since them, I guess,
except for when I went through.
And but it was, and when I talked to somebody else who goes and explores those mountains with me
and they went up earlier that day and that gate was closed.
And so when it was open, when I went up was really, really odd.
And I remember when I was up there, I was worried that, you know, the gate's going to be closed when I go back down.
And luckily, it was open still.
But as soon, I mean, we woke up early the next day to go back up there and it was already closed.
And that extra logger information makes it even more fascinating.
If anyone has any more information about that whole historical account, please reach out.
email is bigfoot society at gmail.com but you know gloria uh what a way to to really get into
the whole bigfoot um situation um but i am glad that you're at the point where with your current
husband you're able to it sounds like you're able to um move past that and also uh i guess we'll
hear about uh next what has happened to you since then we're we're going to
down to the Klamath area, correct?
Yes.
All right.
Well, feel free to bring us through what happened down to what happened to you down there.
Yes.
So we were originally camping and there was a fire and we had to be evacuated.
And we didn't want to ruin the whole trip with, okay, well, now we don't get to go camping.
And so we decided, well, we're going to take our RV and make a little side trip and find a spot there and we'll just camp for the night because it was starting to get dark.
And we find a spot and it is really, really dark.
And it is the woods there get really, really thick, like the further in you go.
and there was a cow in the middle of the road that was just ginormous.
I don't remember cows ever being so tall.
But we pass this cow and we keep going and the road starts to wind and everything.
We find a nice spot to park and he starts to barbecue some hot dogs and bake for us to
eat and and me and the other girls we're in the RV and him and his youngest are out cooking
and his youngest is staring behind them at a certain part of the trees and he's like,
Dad, Bigfoot's watching us.
and my husband's like very, you know, has that feeling of something's watching, but he's just wanting to go about his business.
Like he's not paying attention.
And then his son comes and sits next to him and says, Dad, now there's two.
And my husband then asked me, okay, well, can you bring me some of the seasonings for this?
And I was like, yeah, okay.
And when I go, I have the seasonings in the RV and I go to take them out.
And I remember standing on the step of the RV.
And I was like, I had this feeling of like, I'm not supposed to be touching this ground.
And so I freeze up for a little bit.
And I'm staring at the same part of the woods that I didn't realize that our,
our son was staring at and my husband notices and um i run out there i give him the seasoning
i go back into the RV and um it was kind of scary for me because just that feeling alone
kind of brought back to the past experience i had of like no i shouldn't be doing this
and he continues to cook the food and I have him bring it inside so we can eat because I did not want to be out there
and we eat our food and we start getting ready for bed and I'm in the bedroom of the RV
and I'm changing into my pajamas and I have this feeling that something is watching me
and it's not like something far away watching me.
I feel like it's like right on the other side of the window watching me.
But I can't see out of the windows because it's now dark outside and the lights in the RV are on.
And I tell my husband, I'm like, something's out there and I can feel it watching me.
And he's like, well, let's just go to bed.
And so he goes to turn on or turns everything off.
and he goes to turn on, I think the heater or something,
and the RV starts to, like, not want to start for it.
And then he's like, okay, well, this is really, really weird.
And he tries to start the RV, and it will not start.
And the fridge stops working, like, we're just having all these malfunctions
and the RV all of a sudden.
and you can hear the footsteps around the RV and everything.
And there's like these whoops outside.
And he's like, we need to leave.
We're not supposed to be here.
And, oh, sorry, I'm trying to catch my breath.
And so he finally, after probably about 10 minutes,
of just fighting with the RV, he kind of gets at the start.
And we, everybody's buckled at that time.
We're like, we're leaving.
And it seems like as soon as we said, okay, we're leaving is when the RV wanted to start.
And we left.
And then the next day, we came back in our pickup and checked out the area.
and there were these dugouts all around where our RV were,
where the dirt was dug out, and it was kind of like a, gosh,
I don't know what they call it, like, in the military when they, like, dig out,
but they have, like, this berm in front of them.
But there was, like, three of them circled around where we were parked on the back side of the RV,
where all the pine needles were pushed back, the dirt was pushed back.
And I remember when we were there, it stunk so bad that I was getting a headache.
It was horrible.
It was like somebody's really bad weed and a skunk had a baby.
And I had a massive migraine.
And when we went back the next day, the smell was still there, but it wasn't as strong.
But that was our first experience.
What year was this again?
This was recent.
This was probably about 2005.
Yeah, I think it was like early 2025.
I was going to ask, yeah, because that would.
Yeah, because that would be definitely more recent.
So what time a year again?
What?
It was about summertime.
Okay.
And then I know then we got back from that experience.
My husband did so much research and found out that the Klamath tribe talks a lot about Dinkut.
And say, you know, that's one of the places you don't go there.
and it kind of was like, okay, well, we've tried several different spots, but that spot, it seems like they really don't want you there.
Gotcha.
Right, exactly.
How deep were the dugouts that were there?
I say the dugouts were probably about two feet deep, and they were probably about, and they were probably about,
I mean, probably about six, seven feet wide.
And you could see where, like, they dug in with their fingers and, like,
through the dirt behind them.
Okay, very interesting.
Were the same children that were with you in the Jeep also there during that?
I mean, they would have been, what, like seven years older?
That experience, I think.
No, they were, we had, we had three, he had his three children and my children were at their dad's house.
Okay.
My ex-husband's house.
So, yeah, we have, we have the Brady bunch.
We have six kids.
That's cool.
Yeah, I get it.
Very cool.
Whatever works, right?
There you go.
So, man, very interesting.
So it didn't scare you off the area, though.
It sounds like you guys kept going back, but into different areas.
you had other things happen.
Is that right?
Yes.
So we could start the next experience.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
So the next six,
I don't know if it's like a different
group of Bigfoot.
It seems like they have
a very more
different
approach
to things.
But we found another spot
and we kind of stay away from
the spot that I just talked about because it's obvious they're more protective over that one.
But this other spot, we've had a lot of experiences down to where it's like we've actually
kind of named some of them and we actually made a foot cast of one.
and um but we went to this other spot and we we started camping there and the first time that they
um they came and kind of introduced themselves and let it know you know and they were there
we were hanging out and towards the evening time you could hear them um looping and um walking
around and you could hear like footsteps in the creek and um it was it was kind of cool it wasn't
as traumatizing and um that evening we all got in our RV and we went to sleep and um I was
I stayed up and I was reading um a Bigfoot book that the De Evolution or um um
Yeah, Max Brooks.
Which I thought, yes.
Right, right.
It's a good book.
It's a kind of a horror novel, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
And so I was reading that, and my husband fell asleep, and the kids were watching TV, and we had the TV low.
And we start hearing something.
I'm messing with the cabinets on the outside of the RV next to where the bathroom is.
and we have one daughter that is really, really scared of things like this,
and especially after her first experience, the one that I just described.
And so she was like, what is that?
What is that?
And she's freaking out.
And I'm like, just calm down, you know.
And then you can hear more footsteps and something messing with the other side of the RV.
and I have my window open with the screen on.
And then my husband had his window open with the screen on.
And those were the only two windows open in the RV.
And my husband feels the RV start kind of rocking side to side
because of them messing with each side of the RV.
And he wakes up and he starts telling the children,
stop moving around, go to sleep.
I'm trying to sleep.
And then it stopped for a little bit.
And then once he started snoring again, they start messing with the compartments again.
And you could hear almost like a murmur, like a loud murmur from the woods like a mom is getting on the children about, hey, leave that alone.
don't mess with it.
And then on the front side, the front, where the driver's seat is, they, they start rocking
the RV side to side.
Like, you'd hear them, like, kind of, like, chattering to each other, and it rocked to one
side, and then they'd chatter to another, and then it'd rock to the other side, and it would
keep doing that.
and um
it was like okay it's time to put my book down and turn off the TV and everything and just hearing us
moving around they'll leave us alone and it stopped for a little bit and then when I went
and shut everything down I went back to bed I went to go close my window and I could hear
them right outside my window with their with their murmuring and chattering and they're
blooping and I was like I'm going to close my window because if they're trying to open the doors
and they're trying to open the side compartments and they're rocking the RV they might figure
out how to slide a screen so I'm going to close the window so I closed the window and um
the next morning I tell my husband I'm like you were yawning at the kids last night about like
go to bed but it wasn't them nobody was moving and I didn't sleep and I didn't sleep
much because it went on most of the night, but you should go check outside. And he found several
footprints around outside of the RV. And there's handprints on the side of the RV where they
were trying to get into the compartments and where they were pushing on the RV and causing it to rock
back and forth. And that was our first, our next experience at that's our, our, our next experience at that's
our first experience at that spot, but our next experience on...
Okay.
What, how recent is this?
That one was, that one was about 2025 too.
Okay.
Was it obviously later than the first one in the summer, though?
Yes, yes.
I mean, it was still summer, but it was just later in the summer.
It was, I mean, we go up quite often.
just because it's peaceful there and it's quiet and it's nice get away from home.
Oh, yeah, 100%.
So do you have, is this the one then where you have cast of the footprints or do you have photographs of the handprints at all?
I think my husband has some photographs of the handprints.
because that was another thing that happened that night was my phone
I don't know that's what just says not like phones my phone my phone was at like 86%
but it was dead and the only electronic that was working was the TV and we had that was the
TV and we had that rant through a solar generator.
But, I mean, as for our RV working, I mean, it didn't have any technical difficulties.
It was just any kind of handheld electronic was dead.
Yeah, that makes sense.
How long would you estimate the footprints and how wide the handprints that you saw?
Um, so the footprints, and we've concluded, they were probably like an adolescent.
They were probably, um, because they're not as big as the other ones or as deep.
Um, and we have seen, um, like running across the trail or in the trees, um, smaller ones that were, I mean, they're probably about maybe some or five foot.
Um, one, one of the, um, one of the.
them we've concluded we think it's a female and um she's she's probably around the six foot size um
their footprints are a lot they're probably about i'd say about maybe 14 inches okay so yeah
definitely definitely some some younger ones going on there for sure um the the the hand
prints on the side of the RV, how do those line up with like, I don't know if you put your hands
next to them, sometimes people will do that. Oh, gosh, if I put my hand next to it, it's,
it's to work because my hands are small. But my husband's, it's, he has some bigger hands. And
there, it's, it's a little bigger than his hand. And he's, he's about just over six foot.
and he's he's a bigger guy and I think he weighs like 290 and so he's a bigger guy and
yeah there is they're a little bigger than his hand okay but the the thumb positioning is
completely different from from his hand tell me about that um so if you hold your hand in front of
you and like just flat in front of you and where your thumb normally is.
If you kind of stretch your thumb down, it's more of, it's kind of more of that kind of thumb
positioned rather than our normal hand position. Does that make sense?
No, it absolutely does. This isn't something I've talked about on the show, but I have a handprint
from the Mount Hood National Forest. And Cliff was nice enough to walk me through pretty much what you
just said and explained like look where the thumb is it's because of their setup is different
than ours is and pretty much just how you said so that was very interesting to hear that from
a different person but yeah you're absolutely right it is definitely a little bit different for
sure we have we have more experiences with this group um we like and we've gotten it down to where
when we go and visit, one time we took my sister-in-law up there and she wanted to find mini pine cones.
And we were looking for these mini pine cones everywhere.
And we always try to leave a gift for them.
And so we've lost them cherries and we've sat out there and like, this is how you eat it.
It has a pit.
Don't choke on it.
Don't break your teeth.
been like and um they've eaten the cherries they really like peaches um but one time we brought them
corn like in the husk like and um we brought them corn and um this this is this is um another another
experience but we um we were we were looking for little mini pine cones that day and then
we went back to camp and we called it a night and everything and we could still hear them
looping and walking around and they'd come and get their peach or their cherries and um one night
we left them to corn and um we came back and they had eaten the corn almost like a banana like they
they killed the husk back and they ate the whole corn and the cob and left.
the husks there and so we actually picked those up if we have those as well but where we had been
leaving the gifts they left us flower paddles and a mini pine cone like an immaculate
mini pine cone right in the middle and so we took those and but it was it's kind of cute
because now when we go to visit,
there's always a little time cone there waiting for us.
Oh, that's interesting, like in the same area.
Uh-huh.
Like, they have a certain stump that they always leave it on.
And that's where we leave our, you know, the peaches or the corn or whatever.
And every time that we go, there's an immaculate mini pine cone.
And I'm assuming it's because they've seen us walking around looking for many pine cones.
And by the creek side, you can see their footprints.
And that's when we got our cast.
And we've actually nicknamed one, which is the female.
She seems more comfortable with us because while we're sitting there during the day,
you can hear her on the other side of the creek just watching us.
or she's not very aggressive.
A lot of times she watches us.
And she's on the shorter side, like I said,
and she's dark.
And she has, I mean, it's not long, long hair,
but it is kind of long.
And you can hear her playing in the creek.
You can hear her whooping.
You can see, and sometimes she'll come,
right towards the edge of the creek and the trees to where you can see her.
Or if we are having a fire, you can see her walking around the outskirts of our camp.
Right where that line is of light, she's like right on the edge.
And we're pretty sure she's the one that's leaving us the gifts of many pine cones.
And we've nicknamed her catfish.
Okay, so catfish, the female Bigfoot got it.
Very interesting.
Yes.
Why did you call her that?
We nicknamed her catfish.
One, because the first time that we heard her, she was playing in the creek.
And she kind of, we just kind of named her catfish.
Fair enough, yeah, sometimes, you know.
Well, and it's kind of, you know, my nickname's Goldfish, so.
Got it.
Okay.
Okay.
That's cool.
That's cool.
So, yeah, you're right.
I mean, these experiences, they are totally different than the first one you had.
It sounds like so far that this group has really been a positive experience.
Have there been any non-positive experiences with this group at all?
No, no, not really.
They're very, I mean, I took the girls on a walk around where we were camping and we went through the woods and walked down the rocks and everything.
And we did get to an area where there was a really loud, like, almost like a war kind of thing.
And the daughter that we have that is kind of scared about that stuff clung to me.
And I was like, it just means we're not supposed to be here.
Let's just walk back like nothing's wrong.
Don't run away like you're scared or anything.
Just let's just walk back.
And we found, we've explored that area, not before that,
but after that, we've explored that area with my husband.
and there's trails and stuff.
And we found where trees have been laid like a shelter.
And we've walked around there.
And that's where we've came across.
We're guessing the male of the group.
And he has huge feet.
He's got to be an older, older one.
And while we were, we decided we were going to try to camp it,
now we've kind of have a relation to them and they're bringing us gifts and everything.
We're going to try camping closer to that area.
And so we started camping there and I guess my husband was fishing there.
And he was catching.
these little fish and talking to them and then throwing them back and and um he got to i haven't gotten
to see the big guy yet but he got to see the big guy and he was standing on the other side of the
creek just watching him and wasn't like any kind of aggressive or anything just just watching what he
was doing and he stood up and my husband said he had to have been like over eight feet tall
and when we saw his footprints those those footprints are probably about three inches deep and they're probably about i want to say probably about 18 inches long
and um as for wide they were probably about that's probably about nine nine inches wide it's a big footprint
and he seems to sit back and just watch the whole group where a catfish is I mean she still sits back and watch but she does get closer and the adolescents they kind of it seems like they just do what they want um they and some of them like I said were like four or five feet tall and they just kind of run around you can hear them loop and it's not
as deep as the big guys and um catfish's boop is i mean it's not as deep as the big guys but it's not as
it's not as um i guess like the adolescence it's just a little older and um but they they're very
talkative and you can hear them talking back and forth and looping to each other um they they they
We have had some tree knocks.
It was just like, like, hey, we're here.
But it seems like we're kind of, we're kind of getting used to their family.
And they're kind of getting used to our family.
And it's really nice to experience that they're leaving us little things.
And so we leave them little things.
And it's turned into a fun thing, not so scary.
this is it's absolutely incredible um man i have so many questions um so how long ago was it that
your husband had the sighting of the male the male um so we've been working with them for about
a year and catfish was the first one to kind of really um come out the male
what just happened
probably about
maybe a month ago.
Okay, so July
2026.
Is there a nickname
for the mail yet
or is Catfish
the only one that has been nicknamed?
We've nicknamed Catfish.
He's trying to
we did come up with the name
Peaches because they like
peaches,
but we can't name the big guy
Peaches.
That just seems wrong.
So he's trying to
we're trying to come up
with the nickname for.
them.
Gotcha.
It's a work in progress.
I get it.
That's wild.
And this is so this is the first time.
I mean,
I haven't heard this.
Like,
this is really the first time
you're sharing
this whole experience
of you working with them.
It sounds like.
Yeah.
Wow.
Yeah.
We don't.
And we don't really want a lot of people
to like go looking for them
and just kind of ruin
their whole home.
And it's just so we haven't really shared it a lot because, you know, they're respecting our
families.
Do you want me to take out and just say Klamath area?
Like, I totally can do that.
Yeah, we can do that.
Yeah, I mean, it sounds like you guys have something really incredible going on.
And I think Klamath is big enough that that would be maybe better.
What do you think?
Yeah, that'll be fine.
Clameth area.
Okay.
Stick with that.
And then I'll catch that in editing.
Okay.
Wow, my goodness.
So let's say out of you, your husband, and the children you normally have there,
how many of the individuals that are usually there have had actual visual sightings?
All of them.
Everyone.
How many people is that?
Seven of us.
My goodness.
Okay.
Right. And so you are, it sounds like you're not trying, you're just trying to have some sort of connection. I'm not getting a thing where it's, you're trying to take pictures or you're trying to record audio and like hunt them. Like you're just. Yeah, it seems like, it seems like if we're, if we try any of that, they kind of stay away. But I mean, if we don't have anything and we're not, we're just hanging out, then they come and hang out.
fascinating
based on what you all have seen
you know
catfish the male
everyone else
I know some witnesses
describe what they see as something
that is more like an undiscovered ape
sometimes it's something more
like a human
ancestor that's undiscovered
or even Native American
How would you describe what you have been able to see in this climate area?
I mean, I say it's probably, I mean, Bigfoot's been around for a while.
The natives have even spoke about them and everything.
I think, you know, and if you do more research, it seems like everybody, every country has their version of the Gannaphypithecus.
and America, you know, they say, oh, no, we don't have that.
We don't have that.
But for every country to have a version of it, I would think that, you know, America would have one.
And I think that would be Bigfoot because, and as for, you know, just staying hidden.
And, like, I mean, that's just because people haven't captured it and tested it and everything
doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
And I mean, the language that they speak is almost like a native Indian language.
It's it's it's almost like I wish I knew what language they were speaking so I could communicate.
But it's the way that they talk to each other sounds native.
And it's not, it's not really like our English language and it's not really like your Spanish or your, or your French or it's, it sounds native.
And, but I think, I think it was, it's more like, you know, they're the, the, the guardians of the earth, the guardians of the land is like the natives say.
And that's, that's, that's kind of how I feel.
And it's just like, you know, if you're out there respecting nature, I don't think that they have so much of an issue with it, you know.
Yeah, absolutely.
As we said before, it comes down to respect.
When your husband had the sighting of the male, how far away or what kind of distance was separating the two of them?
They were probably about six to eight feet apart.
Okay. So six to eight feet apart. He's fishing. And then there's one right there. Six to eight feet.
Yeah. On the other side of the creek.
My goodness. How did that affect him? Because he's not here. So, yeah, which I can't ask him directly. So I, was he like super excited or like freaked out or?
He was just sitting there fishing and he thought it was really cool that, you know, the male felt comfortable enough to finally introduce himself.
But he was just watching like, wow, that's that that's one we haven't seen yet.
But he was pretty excited about it.
But, I mean, in the moment, he just stayed calm and continued fishing and started talking to him just like he was talking to the fish.
and yeah, that's become like more of one of our spots now because it was just like,
okay, well, now that he's comfortable with us.
Because the other spot where we were meeting with catfish and everything,
you can tell that she comes to the spot where we saw the big guy and you can see her
footprints and everything.
And so it's just like,
just like it's it was we felt honored that they were sharing their private spot with us that's that's
absolutely fascinating i i can only wish myself to have an experience like that someday hopefully
it will happen um so july 2026 are there things that have happened since then as well um well we go up there
pretty frequently.
Okay.
Because we're just like, oh, man, I'm sure Catfish misses us.
And so we'll bring treats and gifts and stuff.
But for the most part, it seems like every visit now, it seems kind of like the same.
You'll hear them talking to each other and murmuring.
Sometimes you'll get a boop, like they're calling them back in, like calling the children back in.
And, okay, it's time to come back.
and um but like i said they're talking you can it's it's like a native language and um you can
i mean we can hear them talking and sometimes they'll be at on one side of our camp and talking to
the other one on the other side of our camp and um we haven't had them come right into camp but
they stay on the outskirts and you can hear them hanging out and talking to each other
and everything.
Has there ever been anything that's happened in these areas that make you think that other people
are aware that these Bigfoot are there as well?
There are signs.
Like there is a huge tree branch hanging from a tree that, well, I couldn't say hanging,
but you can tell that this tree branch was thrown into the tree, and there is no way that, you
person could have done it because it's I mean you you had to have like thrown the tree
the branch at an angle like for it to come down from 12 feet to hang down to about eight feet
above the ground there are like broken trees there's there's broken trees there's
footprints everywhere.
So, I mean, for, I'm sure other people have probably seen those kind of signs and know that
they're around.
But I haven't talked to anybody else who has had any experiences, one, because, I mean,
we want to keep that spot private.
And because we're working with them and they seem okay with us.
And so we don't want somebody come in and ruin it all.
Oh, absolutely not.
You would definitely not want, which is why we're going to be careful how we reference the area.
Another, something I've noticed in recent people I've talked to up in Mount Hood area is that they've had experience in an unmarked vehicles.
We'll be showing up almost within minutes.
That's something you're not dealing with down there, it sounds like.
we have had a um a forest rangers show up and he was he's like hey have you guys seen anything and we're like well
what are we supposed to be looking for and and and and I was like well what is that you know
what are we supposed to be looking for and he's like well I just wanted to know if you've seen
anything and we're like no we haven't seen anything and
he's like okay and he's like well I'm just I'm looking for poachers and I'm like poachers and he's like yeah that's that's a thing out here and I was like oh okay and I was like well have you have you seen anything today he's like well I mean I had to wrestle with a cougar to get it out of a trap earlier by myself that was pretty cool and I was like oh okay cool and he left but I was just like hmm okay okay
Like, is the first thing you say to me is, have you seen anything?
And I'm like, well, see, what are we supposed to be seeing?
That's highly suspicious.
Exactly.
My goodness, I've never heard anything like that.
That's wild.
I think stuff is starting to go down, to be honest.
That's just my personal opinion.
So in this area that you're now focused on, are you.
you also experiencing other strange things that may not be related to Bigfoot?
No, not really.
It seems pretty peaceful and everything.
Not really.
Yeah, I wouldn't say I've seen anything else.
Gotcha.
No unexplained lights in the woods, things like that.
No.
Okay.
No.
Cool, cool, cool.
Have you, do you feel that there are certain ways that communication is happening between your group and the Bigfoot group?
I think it's more kind of like sharing, sharing of, I mean, if you go out there and you have this whole, like, oh,
Well, yeah, I guess it's your demeanor is what I'm trying there.
Your whole demeanor.
Your demeanor and your, like we've said multiple times, respect.
And, I mean, we've gone out there and people have dammed up the creek with logs and stuff.
And we've gone out there and swam out into the creek just to unblock the logs.
and I mean, and they've watched us do it.
And just kind of leaving everything where the way we found it.
And it seems like it seems like they kind of respect us for doing that.
And we're showing our respect for keeping everything the way it is.
And but I mean, when we talk to them like, this is how you eat a cherry.
It has pits.
And it seems like they understand or they're watching us so closely.
And I'd say more like body language and how you carry yourself while you're being watched.
And they're kind of learning.
Like they've seen us get into the compartments of our RV and put things away and open them up and take things out.
And so they're trying to turn the knobs like they've watched.
watched us and opened the compartments the same way.
It's a really fascinating, I mean, it's something that is happening to you currently,
but it's really a fascinating case study as well.
I'm getting, just kind of thinking over everything you've shared.
You guys are, it's not only a spirit of respect, but also you guys are in a way,
an advocate for the nature in that area.
like as you said you know if someone dams up an area breaking it down so it's back to how it was originally
probably picking up trash i would imagine if someone that says left trash there that's you're
getting rid of that pretty quickly um yeah my goodness that is that is absolutely fascinating are
are there any other um times that you could think of where you have had um a actual um um
Like a visual sighting.
You've mentioned catfish so far and your husband seeing the one six to eight feet away.
Yes.
And then the kids have seen the adolescents.
Like when we're out having a fire or whatever, you can see the adolescents playing on the outskirts of the light from the fire.
of like they're running back and forth and sometimes they're playing with sticks.
We want to bring them a ball.
That way we can actually see the adolescents playing.
But it seems like the kids see more of the adolescents.
And there is, it seems so when the big guy is around our camp,
I sleep really well and my husband's up all night listening to him.
But when catfish is around the camp, he sleeps really well and I'm up listening to her and the kids playing and well.
And the adolescents playing.
And we have noticed we have caught on to that where we find that kind of strange.
because it's just like, okay, well, the dominant male is outside,
and I can sleep well, but he can't.
And then when the dominant female is outside,
I'm up all night and he can't sleep.
Do you have any thoughts about why that might be the case?
Not really other than, you know, I guess, I mean, just basic biology, I guess.
usually when you have, I'm not sure, maybe, I don't know.
I don't know.
Yeah, I have no idea myself.
That is, that's, it's a really unique one.
Most people I hear, so let's say if you've got a situation where a Bigfoot is reaching out to connect with someone in an area like this,
And there's maybe even, not even visually, but sometimes, you know, if it could be like a dream or something like that.
A lot of times it's like if you're a male, there's a female one that will reach out to you and vice versa.
So it's kind of a unique situation based on what I've heard where, you know, you have yourself and catfish and then your husband and the male of the group.
So kind of cool.
But what is, do you guys have a certain goal that you are working towards with this family or group?
I don't really even know what we call a family group of Bigfoot.
But do you have any goals that you're working towards or just connection?
No, not really a goal.
I mean, it'd be cool to eventually get them comfortable enough to where they want to come closer.
Like, actually, it'd be kind of cool to sit down and fish the river and, you know, just one of them come sit next to us.
But it seems like we've already kind of gotten to that point.
They're just on the other side of the creek.
So, no, we don't really have a goal.
It's just kind of cohabitating.
when we go camping.
I absolutely love it.
I think it's a very cool life experience,
but also experiment.
It's not really experiment.
It's a life experience.
But I'd say thank you for sharing what you guys have got going on, Gloria.
I want to make sure that you were able to share everything that you wanted to share on the show today.
It's been a really fascinating conversation.
Yeah, I think that pretty sums up all of my experiences.
Fantastic.
Well, again, say thank you to your husband for reaching out and for getting us connected and, you know, keep me in the loop, you know, maybe even,
well, maybe even check in with you in a year or so.
And who knows what will happen next with you guys out in the Klamath area.
But it's been a pleasure talking to you today.
Thank you so much for coming on the show, Gloria.
And thank you.
A special thank you to Gloria for coming on the show today.
