Bigfoot Society - Something Stayed Beside His Truck All Night on Oregon’s Bigfoot Highway!

Episode Date: August 26, 2026

Sam Chandler’s journey with the Sasquatch phenomenon stretches from a remote 5,000-acre property in Ontario, Canada, to the forests of Georgia and deep into the mountains of Oregon. In this episode o...f Bigfoot Society, Sam shares decades of experiences that began when he was a child and continued into adulthood. He recalls unexplained footsteps around an isolated Canadian lake, violent impacts against a cabin, strange lights moving through the forest, unusual recordings captured at night, and a terrifying solo camping experience that changed his understanding of what might be happening around him.Years later in western Georgia, the encounters continued. Sam describes changing tree structures, unseen footsteps following his family, three separate sets of footsteps closing in around him, wood knocks, activity around his home, and interactions that became increasingly personal. After moving to Oregon, everything intensified.Sam takes us into remote camps near Bend, Camp Broken Arrow along the Bigfoot Highway, and the forests surrounding Oakridge. He shares experiences involving massive individuals moving through the darkness, mysterious whistles beside his tent, apparent communication, strange vibrations, rocks thrown into camp, something racing past his vehicle in the middle of the night, and an approximately 16-inch footprint discovered near a spring during Sasquatch Summer Fest 2026.Sam also shares some of his most extraordinary experiences involving what he calls the “Sasquatch people,” including encounters he believes involved direct communication and an Oregon experience in which three individuals—a male, female, and juvenile—were presented to him with remarkable clarity. This is a journey spanning more than 40 years, multiple states, and two countries.Listen through to the end. Sam’s experiences around Oakridge and Sasquatch Summerfest bring the story right into the present day.Resources:Sam’s Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@samchandler108Sam Chandler on Flash of Beauty: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTxZiaEuAo8LOREGON Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/3800130430285018Oregon Bigfoot Highway book: https://www.amazon.com/Oregon-Bigfoot-Highway-Joe-Beelart/dp/0692380817📖 Follow Jeremiah's cancer health updates here:https://www.caringbridge.org/site/569ef3d3-68be-11f1-8790-97fdfd2bbc64🗣️ Share Your StoryHad a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience?Send it to bigfootsociety@gmail.com – your story might be featured on the show!🎥 Watch & Subscribe on YouTube🔴 Subscribe here → Bigfoot Society YouTube💬 Leave a comment & let us know your thoughts!📞 Leave a voicemail with your story → Speakpipe (Use multiple voicemails if needed)👥 Share this episode → Watch & Share🎧 More episodes → Podcast Playlist🌲 Recommended: New Jersey Bigfoot Encounters💥 Support the Show & Get Perks✅ Join the community on Supercast – Become a Member✅ Listen ad-free & early on YouTube – Join Here📱 Let’s ConnectInstagram: @bigfootsocietyTwitter: @bigfoot_societyTikTok: @bigfoot.society🧰 Tools & Partners I Use (Affiliate Links)These help support the show at no extra cost to you:Beam (Better Sleep): Try BeamWildgrain (Better Bread): Join HereSeed (Probiotics): Get SeedMedi-Share (Healthcare): Learn MoreLMNT (Electrolytes) Free Sample Pack with your first purchase! : Get LMNTOrganic and non-GMO groceries delivered for lesshttp://thrv.me/uarEhS🎙️ Podcasting Tools:Repurpose.io: Try ItDescript: Sign UpStreamyard: Start RecordingRiverside.fm: Try Riverside🎧 My Audio Interface: View on Amazon☕ Buy Me a Coffee – Support Here🛍️ Grab Some Merch – Shop on Etsy📬 Mailing Address:Bigfoot Society125 E 1st St. #233Earlham, IA 50072

Starting point is 00:00:43 All right, Bigfoot Society. You've got the privilege of talking to Sam Chandler today from out there in Bend, Oregon. How are you doing today, Sam? I'm good. I'm good. Awesome, awesome. Sam was just hanging out at the at the saturday. Squatch Summer Fest Festival, saw you hanging out and I was like, who's the guy who's, I don't know this guy yet, because I know most of the players out there. And I was like, I got to talk to this guy. So I talked to Priscilla and Jeff and they're like, oh, yeah, you totally should talk to Sam. He's good dude. So I'm glad we were able to get that connected. And thank you for coming on on the show today, Sam. Of course, we were talking about beforehand how how you kind of present yourself and,
Starting point is 00:01:30 you're presenting yourself more as an experiencer of what is going on with this phenomenon. So I think we'll have a very interesting chat today. This will be one of those interviews where we'll be chatting back and forth potentially as we go along. Sam has experienced a lot of interesting things and a lot of different areas and you may have already seen Sam on things such as Flash of Beauty channel, which is a great channel. If you guys aren't subscribed yet, make sure you're subscribed. But anything else that the listeners would want to know about you, Sam, besides being out there in Bend, Oregon? No. I mean, I think you pretty much nailed it.
Starting point is 00:02:10 I've kind of more of a behind-the-scenes person. Like, I don't really, I'm not out in the limelight, so to speak. Awesome. I totally get that. That's, I enjoy that as well. but the podcast is kind of like, it's, it kind of goes against what I would more prefer to do,
Starting point is 00:02:33 but it is what it is. So Sam, what was your first Bigfoot experience? How far does this go back in your life? Well, all right. So I go back to 1985 was when this kind of started off for me. We had moved into a new house, and it was in northern Virginia.
Starting point is 00:02:56 And our neighbors at the time, they had a cabin that the man of the house had a cabin that had a cabin that had been in his family since the early 1900s in Canada. They had purchased it after the land had been logged. And so, you know, at that time it really wasn't worth much. So somebody went and a bunch of families went in and bought up like 5,000 acres of the land that had been logged. and then over the years it had been sold down to, I think, two families at this point. And all the trees and everything had grown back up, so it was back to its forested scale again. So they invited us back in 1985, and I was eight years old at the time. And so the first year we went there, I don't remember much happening when it comes to weird activities or force people.
Starting point is 00:03:53 people's stuff. Again, I was more focused on fishing and everything like that. The thing that happened when I got back, and again, my timelines, I don't remember if this happened before I went, or if it was after I got back. And I tend to think it was after I got back. But I was in my bedroom one night. And I was in bed, and the sun was, you know, it was in the summer, August-ish. so the sun was still going down late probably nine or whatever that night and there was still plenty of light in the room for me to see and I was laying in bed and I heard something
Starting point is 00:04:35 or something got my attention and when I opened my eyes up and looked over where my dresser was on the other side of my dresser looking over top of it was like a young Sasquatch person's head kind of peeking over at me and it scared me to death, of course, you know, because that's like your bedroom when you're a child is like your safe space, right?
Starting point is 00:04:57 So when that... And so anyways, it didn't do anything. It just looked at me, and he made this gesture like he was laughing or smiling, but like no noise came out of his mouth. So he just did this, like, kind of gesture, and it just freaked me out. And I shut down, like,
Starting point is 00:05:21 everything that had to do with paranormal stuff. Because as a kid, I had had some experiences with like, you know, seeing ghosts and things like that. And I had had an interest in, say, like, Bigfoot and things like that. But that experience kind of just like, it like flipped a switch in which I didn't want anything to do with that anymore, right? I was just like, I don't want, like, no, no more of this. Like, I'm done.
Starting point is 00:05:47 And I think I carried that with me for a long time, not really, not really knowing that I had done it. But over those years, we continued to go to the cabin. And things would happen. It's one of those places where there's a lot of high strangeness and a lot of weird things would just happen. In the cabin, outside of the cabin. Like, the cabin, I didn't know what was happening at the time,
Starting point is 00:06:17 but in the middle of the night, you used to be sleeping. and right in the corner of the room behind my head from outside, you'd just hear this loud, like, bang. And I didn't, now I know what it was. It was like, you know, them slapping the cabin and things like that. But at the time, you know, you'd be like, wow, that, it's just like you'd chalk it up as like the cabin was settling, you know, in the night when the air would get cold.
Starting point is 00:06:40 But it was just such a violent, you know, sound. We'd hear footsteps a lot. there was a lot of spirit activity in the cabin. I can't necessarily say it was like Sasquatch people, but it was just one of those places that things happened. You know, it was just like... And this is somewhere in Canada, you're saying, correct? Yeah, it's in Ontario, Canada, south of Algonquin Provincial Park.
Starting point is 00:07:10 Oh, yeah. I was like, I bet it's probably that area is... I don't know what would that area do. It's It is such an interesting area So it's 5,000 acres A private land that surrounds this lake Right so we're the only people there
Starting point is 00:07:29 And all the land around it is either privately owned Or it's a provincial land So I mean like Nobody lives there you're around There's a couple scattered cottages and cabins here and there But I mean it's like Thousands of acres of just The open land
Starting point is 00:07:45 Well not you know Forested land and it has like there's some spots in there it just does not it's spooky and um and i don't get spooked very easily but there's just places like you'll walk into and i've experienced in the experience this in the appalachian mountains as well like where you're just hiking everything's fine and then you just like take one step and it's almost like the energy in that area just shifts to like you you're not welcome here type energy you know yep um and there's lots places like that. So anyways, as I was growing up, I started getting more and more curious. It's like,
Starting point is 00:08:23 what is that? What is this? I had one morning in particular that I remember one of the guys that was with us. He was an older retired military guy. He got up early, went up to the cookhouse, started getting coffee going. And when everybody else got up and went up there, he was like, weird thing happened this morning. He was like, I walked up to the cookhouse and I heard, and he said, a man. He said, I heard a man turn around and start to walk back into the forest. And then he just was like, so anyways, what time do you guys want to go out fishing? And I was like, hold up. Don't just change a subject. Like, let's work. You know what I mean? Like, what are you talking about? So, you know, over the years, I slowly started trying to put things together. And then around
Starting point is 00:09:10 2010, I was down by the lake one night and it was a full moon. All the other guys were up at the cabin and they were just, you know, drinking and having a good time. And I was down there on the lake fishing and I heard footsteps, like deliberate footsteps crunching through the leaves on the ridge to the north. And I mean, it was just like crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch, like very deliberate. And it felt like they wanted me to hear them. That's just how I perceived it at the time. And that was like my my trigger to like okay something's going on here like there's how could you tell you mentioned that there is a certain certain times in that cabin where you could tell it was more spirit activity rather than Sasquatch related activity i'm curious how you knew the difference there
Starting point is 00:10:02 um well so at the time i i this is just for me looking back on it it's just it didn't align with things that i've had happened since so i kind of okay But my dad, my dad's retired Marine, he's like a tough dude. And he, now that he's retired and everything, we've discussed these things, he's had this ability to see spirits this whole life. He never really told me about it until my older. So while we would stay in the cabin, he would get visited by spirits at night. Like we would be sleeping in the same room in the cabin and he would get visited.
Starting point is 00:10:36 So he's been visited by actual spirits. So that's kind of why I say that the activity that would have. haven't in the cabin seem to be a little bit different than outside that you man that is one wild area uh and and it sounds like you have what 10 plus years of of activity at that one cabin location well before i started like acknowledging it you know it happened all through 80s in the 90s i didn't really start acknowledging it until like 2000 early 2000s mid 2000s um so there's just a lot of like there's this one area up there that has this machinery sound that comes from it and it's like at least once a day you'll hear it it's in the northwest corner of the property you'll hear
Starting point is 00:11:26 this like what sounds like um like tank um tracks or like uh like bulldozer tracks like cling cling cling cling clean cling cling cling cling noise and it comes from this area and i've heard it so many times over the years and I will just like get up or I'll hear it. And there's a couple times when I started really getting a little more brave, I just walked towards it. And I was trying to figure out what it was, where it was coming from. And it was like either as soon as I started walking or I would get a little closer
Starting point is 00:11:55 to where it's coming from, it would stop every time. And I never figured out what it was. After I heard the footsteps and started opening up to it more, I started doing more research and trying to figure out what was going on. And this was back, you know, 2010, 11, and 20, well, like, internet really wasn't that great.
Starting point is 00:12:14 I mean, much better than it was in, like, the 90s, but, you know, like, back then trying to find information on Sasquatch and things like that was, there was a couple forums, you know, and you really had to search. So I made it like a thing where I bought, like, an audio recorder, and then I would just walk around the lake and try and explore the land a little more. And so what started happening when I was exploring more was I was coming across more areas that were just very unwelcoming. Well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Sorry, it sounded weird when I said that. And so, like, I would walk into an area, and I would get, and this is when I first remember ever getting, like, a telepathic or a Minespeak message, and I would get message that would say, don't go in there. Or, you know, like, and a lot of these times, they would happen when I would get close to, like, a thicket or, like, a clump or a cluster. of trees that were really thick and dense and dark and like you couldn't really see in there. And so as I would approach those, that's when I would hear stuff like that or I would just be
Starting point is 00:13:19 stopped where like I couldn't walk into it. So sorry, something that remind me of something Henry Franzenone used to say, are you saying then you would be physically stopped by something and you physically could not move your own legs any further? Yeah, that happened once. Okay. But most of the time I would just heed the actual like don't go in there warning. Wow.
Starting point is 00:13:42 And actually that time, I didn't go into it. I walked around it and I ended up in like a totally different area. It's like a long story, but I was walking to this remote lake that was like over a ridge back where the beavers had dammed up this creek and made this lake back there. I always had cool animal sightings back there. So I was walking back there one day and I used to walk through this cluster of cedars. and that's when I got like the don't go in their message. And so I walked around it. But I walked southwest and I ended up on the northeast side of the lake somehow.
Starting point is 00:14:22 I don't know how that happened. And I don't remember like having necessarily a loss of time. But when I got back to the boat and went back to the cab and my dad, I remember my dad asking like, where have you been? You know, I was like, I just went for a walk. And I don't use like a watch or a clock or anything while I'm there because when we're there, we're just kind of like cut off from the rest of the world. So we don't really worry about, you know, what time it is and stuff like that, you know. I'm curious what your reaction was to first experiencing telepathy or mind speak based on when you had that visual as a child that really affected you. What was it like when you first started hearing the telepathy or mind?
Starting point is 00:15:12 speak. Honestly, it didn't, it didn't strike me as weird looking back on it. So I don't know. I don't really know. Like it didn't, I don't remember ever being like, where'd that voice come from or anything like that. You know what I mean? It just kind of felt. And I've had it many times since. And so I don't know if it's just something that I've always felt natural with it, if that makes any sense. It just didn't, it didn't strike me as like, I think I was more shocked by the idea that I shouldn't go into a place that I had been into a few times before. Interesting. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:50 And so, yeah, so anyways, over the years, I explored that area. I got to know that land really well. And we would have weird things happen periodically. Those guys are very tight-lipped because they're all old retired military men, so they don't really discuss things. And they're very reserved with what they talk about. But going out in the boat with them fishing by themselves, I've gotten each of them to admit, you know, like, did you guys see those lights in the sky?
Starting point is 00:16:21 Do you see those when you're here by yourselves? You know, and they would be like, yeah, because we would see like orbs. And at the time we didn't know there were orbs, but they were like these bright white ball lights that would go through the woods. And this was, you know, back in like the 90s and the 80s, flashlights were like more of like a yellowish,
Starting point is 00:16:36 like a very dim kind of yellow. these were like a bright white light and we didn't know what they were but I would ask the guys about that and they would say like I've seen them you know and I'd be like what are your thought like what do you think they are and they'd be like I don't know and that's pretty much like what you would get um so moving forward a few years uh I was set up my auto recorder out in front of the cabin and I would get these recordings at night like rhythmic tapping on the burn barrel which was a 50-gallon drum, whispering, shifting, lots of sticks breaking, alcohol, like, not normal alcohols, got a couple whoops and things like that.
Starting point is 00:17:19 That led me to believe that something was going on around the cabin all the time at night. So, sometime around, in 2012, October 2012, I was like, I had it in my mind that I was, like, determines to go camp by myself and go out there and figure out what's going on. So I brought all my camping gear. I went out to the back of the lake in this area that we had heard weird noises while we were fishing. And as I set up my camp, I had a hammock that night, strung it out. And I was out there, got settled in. I was listening to the wolves howl.
Starting point is 00:17:56 And I was just like totally in the zone. I was loving it. It was just like a great, great experience. and then I think I had dozed off at one point. I woke up to a tree falling behind my head. I mean, not like right behind my head, but within, you know, I'd say like 50 feet or so behind my head, like enough to get my attention.
Starting point is 00:18:18 And I woke up and, you know, my heart was like boom, boom, boom. And I was like, ah. But I just had this feeling somebody was there, like it wasn't like, because it wasn't really like a strong wind or anything that would have blown a tree over. and so I laid there trying to I was going to see what was going to happen next
Starting point is 00:18:36 and I felt so I'm in a hammock and I'm facing like my head's facing the north my feet are facing south and on the top of my head like where my crown shocker is like right here on the top I felt what felt like a finger pushing on the top of my head and uh
Starting point is 00:18:52 and I you know just frozen I remember being like hmm okay and right after that happened I got this like energy rush through my body. It was like this wave of heat and cold and everything just came through my body, down to my feet, and then it came back out through my head. And when that happened, there was a message that said, and it was like a Minespeak message,
Starting point is 00:19:16 it said, get out of here. And I was determined to work through my fear because that was my main goal of going out there, was to just work through whatever fear I had about being out in the woods by myself. And so I was like, nah, I'm in it. you're just freaking yourself out. And so I just stay put. So I stayed there and then happened again. Felt the pressure.
Starting point is 00:19:40 And then the energy went through my body a little bit stronger that time. And then another message came and it said, get out of here now. And I was like, no, man, you're just freaking yourself out. You're just, you're going to get through this, you know? And so I laid there a little longer. And then I felt it again, the third time. And this time when the energy came through,
Starting point is 00:19:59 it came through really hard. like, like, you could feel, like, every molecule, DNA level type thing in my body was just, like, rattled, like, heat, like, hot, cold, electrical sensations, like, everything. Just like, and it came through. And then the message this time said, get out of here now or you're going to die. Whoa. And I was like, that's when I was like, okay, maybe I should take this a little more serious. But as I was thinking that in the pouch of my hammock, I had this little two-way radio. My dad had the other one in the cabin just in case there was an emergency.
Starting point is 00:20:38 And that two-way radio started going making all this crazy static noise. And that's what really freaked me out, because that's when it stopped being my imagination or possibly my imagination and got real, you know. And so I was like, okay, screw this. I'm out. And so I got up. I grabbed the radio. I think I grabbed my bag, but I don't remember exactly.
Starting point is 00:21:03 But I left the hammock there. I went to the boat, started the boat. Luckily, it started, you know. And so got offshore and went down to, started going back to the cabin. On the way back to the cabin, I remember sitting in the boat, and it was an outboard motor, and it was on an outboard motor. And I was looking up because it was a 9-9 horsepower. So I had to go about a mile and a half.
Starting point is 00:21:26 It took, you know, 10, 15, 20 minutes, however long it took. And I remember looking up at the sky and just seeing a, like, the color of the sky was like this greenish color. And I think it had to do with the way the moon was reflecting off the water and kind of making it that color. But I knew that something was going to come grab me out of the boat. I don't really know how to explain that. But that was the feeling I had the whole way there. And it was like the most vulnerable it ever felt, right? Like, there's nothing I can do.
Starting point is 00:21:56 I have, like, this 15-minute boat ride of just being out in the open in the middle of a lake. But I got back to the cabin, went up, got my cot in my sleeping bag, and was just like, I just passed out, you know? I think it was just the adrenaline and everything just, like, crashed. So anyways, that's when I knew. That's when I knew for sure that there was just a lot more going on than I thought. So things continue to happen. I went back to, I was living in Georgia at this time, like just outside of Atlanta when that happened.
Starting point is 00:22:31 So I went back to Georgia and started looking for places around there because I had heard that there had been stuff going on in Georgia. And so I started going out and I found a place, man, like, and I know all this sounds weird and like it just seems like synchronistically things lined up in this way. I went to this place and found signs of them. I remember the first time my wife and I went there. It was getting close to dusk, and we started walking to where the trail got dark. And my wife and I, I always remember this. We stopped, and we both looked at each other because it had like a feeling. It was like a breeze coming from it, but that breeze was like spooky.
Starting point is 00:23:20 And I remember looking at my wife, and we looked at each other, and we were like, do you want to do this right now? and we were both like, no. Like, because we knew we were going to be back there in the dark at some point. Okay. And it was a new area, you know what I mean? So I started going back there a lot during the daytime. And I ride my mountain bike around. And I came across this one area.
Starting point is 00:23:41 It was a few miles back. You crossed over some power lines. And as soon as you would cross over the power lines and get back into this one area, it just, like the energy just was completely different, like I've mentioned before. and it felt like almost thick and humid, but it was just like, it didn't feel spooky to me. It just felt intense. Like, not a peaceful place.
Starting point is 00:24:07 I mean, I don't mean that as like dangerous, but just like it's intense. You know what I mean? And so I remember putting my bike, like laying it down and I walked around a little bit, got to feel for the area. The trail there goes around and then it comes back up a little bit, goes through some big rock formations, and then you come across the power lines again a little bit further up.
Starting point is 00:24:32 And when I crossed back over those power line, energy changed again, back to normal. And so I knew that area was like a spot I was going to come visit. And so I'd go back to that spot over and over and over again. And then I started noticing the tree structures in that area. and when I would go back, they would change. They would add to them. There would be new ones, and it would kind of change. And so I just had this feeling, oh, and I would hear occasional footsteps back there,
Starting point is 00:24:59 but I could never see anyone back there. And so I just started talking out loud, because I just had this feeling that somebody was, whoever was doing the tree structures was watching me. And so I would start talking to them. And I was really enthusiastic about the tree structures, because honestly, they were really cool. Like the way that they would do things, to me, I was like, humans can't do this. They would, like, somehow move trees through other trees.
Starting point is 00:25:28 I don't really know how to explain it. I wish I had taken more pictures and videos back then, but I just didn't. And so I would just ask them. Like, that's how I would talk to them. I would be like, how did you do this? This is amazing. This is crazy how you could bend this tree in this way, you know, and make it. And so, like, I was just generally enthusiastic.
Starting point is 00:25:46 And I think they like that. And so they would just continue to do it. And so I brought my wife and my kids back there one day on a hike. And my boys were real little then. I think my youngest son was like two. And my oldest was like five. But so we walked back there. We get to that area.
Starting point is 00:26:07 As soon as we crossed those power lines back in that area, and my wife was like, she was like, I don't like this place. This place feels spooky. And I was like, okay, it's not just me, you know, I'm not just imagining this. This is real. And so I was like, it's fine. I've been back here a bunch. Just walk with me. It will be okay. So as we're walking, I was with one of my sons. My wife was my other son. She was a little bit behind me. And we started hearing footsteps behind us again. And so she was like, babe, stopped for a second.
Starting point is 00:26:35 So she walked up and she was like, do you hear those footsteps? And I was like, yeah. And she was like, I can't see anybody. And I was like, I don't see him either. I've heard him before. I was like, let's just walk. It's not a big deal. So anyways, we walked around the loop that I was talking about. We came to the other side of the power lines crossed over. That energy went away. Everything felt normal again.
Starting point is 00:26:57 And she said, I don't like that place. I don't want to go back there ever again. And I was like, no, I totally get it. That's fine. And so I kept going back there. And so one day, I went back there, and I was in the middle of the loop. and I was talking to them about the tree structures and everything. And so in the middle of me talking to them, asking them a question, I heard footsteps coming,
Starting point is 00:27:22 like crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch in the leaves. And so I look over and I was like looking to see if I could see anybody, but I couldn't see anyone walking. And so as I'm looking this way at this one, like another set behind me starts coming closer. And I turn on a look at that one. And as that one, another, like a third step footsteps, starts coming up. And so there was like three sets of footsteps like triangulating around me like a flanking formation. And so I just stood there and like looking.
Starting point is 00:27:51 I didn't feel, I don't remember feeling fearful. I just remember feeling like curious. Like what is going on? And so they came close. I mean like this is the thing that I don't remember if I imagine seeing the leaves being depressed as they stepped in or if that really happened because I was just so like what is going on. you know and so they got probably within 10 feet of me and uh and i just remember saying like hi or hello because i was nervous at that point and i just said like hello and as soon as i said that i just got like enveloped it was like the whole area or like this giant bubble of love came over me
Starting point is 00:28:31 and it was so life-changing and palpable and it was just like someone had put me you know those like hamster wheels from back in the day or hamster it was like that it was like someone put me in one of those but it was just love and and i remember specifically smiling it's like my body's reaction to it i smiled and cried at the same time and it was just like so blissful and euphoric and um i'm i'm guessing it happened for maybe 30 seconds or a minute and as quickly as it happened it just stopped and there was another message that said you can go now and i was like thank you okay and i never heard them walk away i just walked out to the trail and i called my wife and i was first thing i did i called my wife and i was just like you're never going to believe what just happened in that place you
Starting point is 00:29:28 don't like you know and she was like that's amazing she's very supportive of this you know she doesn't really like to partake in some of it because she's had some scary experiences herself right but she's very supportive and she was like, that's awesome, but I'm still not going back to that place and I was like, I get it. But yeah, that was the year after my experience in Canada. And so
Starting point is 00:29:52 it was like two ends of the spectrum, right? It was like extreme fear, extreme love, right? So, and those are the two spectrums of life in general, right? You get so But if I can if I can, I'm noticing something that what you're sharing at the cabin in Canada beforehand,
Starting point is 00:30:16 you were actively trying to get over your fear and it sounds like you got over that. And then when you're outside of Atlanta somewhere, because you had gone, because you had gotten over that fear, then you're able to start to have these experiences so your outlook is, or maybe your intention and your frequency is completely different. I don't know if you have any thoughts about that. No, I totally agree. So my experience in Canada to me was probably like the most scared I've ever been, right? That's like the most scared I could be.
Starting point is 00:30:49 So I learned my limit of where my fear is. And so my experience has since then. I've had experiences that I would say are probably equally as frightening, but I don't get that sense of fear to where I can't function. you know what I mean so like I'm able to kind of like keep my wit and um and sometimes there's things that have happened when we're in our groups that I just don't get scared at all anymore it's just more of like a um and I'm not saying that to try and come across like a tough guy or anything like that it's just I just feel really comfortable in some of these situations now and I and I I I going back to what you said I believe a lot of it has to do with I know where my fear limit is and I know now like intuitively when I get a message or get a feeling of like I'm like I'm like, we need to get out of here. And it's not, it's more of like a respect thing, right? So like if I'm in an area and I get that feeling,
Starting point is 00:31:45 it's mostly because, say, there's a little one around or something and they're just like, hey, with all due respect, you guys shouldn't be here right now because we do have little ones around. And I'm like, and that will come across as that feeling of like, I don't really know if it's necessarily dread, but it's just like that, okay, we should, let's just get out of here type feelings. That's interesting. Do you feel that the same... Do you refer to them as Bigfoot or Forest People?
Starting point is 00:32:12 I want to make sure I'm referring to them the right way. I refer to them specifically as Sasquatch people. And then Forest people are different to me. Because there's a lot more in the forest than just Sasquatch people. That's very interesting. I guess that is another question then. So do you feel that these messages you've been getting are from the Sasquatch people?
Starting point is 00:32:35 then or from the forest people? I think there's been over the years re-examining it all. I think there's been a combination of both. Okay. Interesting. And I know some people have experienced where over the years when they get messages, it'll be from the same individual and they start to have some sort of connection. And there's even a, you know, what is your name? My name is this?
Starting point is 00:33:01 Is that something that is also happening or is it a little different than that? Yeah, that happened in 2019. Okay. And that was here in Oregon. Okay, so we'll get there. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. But going back to that place outside of Atlanta that I was going to, it was, it's as the driving out of Atlanta was about 30 minutes west of Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:33:24 So I will say this, western Georgia, eastern Alabama, pretty much that whole area. I'll just say this, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, like that whole region. extremely active. And Western Georgia in particular just from my experiences and the people that I met in that area, that whole area is just super active.
Starting point is 00:33:48 And I mean, like, so, I would continue to go back to that area that I had that experience in. And one day, and so, I wish that I could bring people to this spot. I did bring people back there once during a conference in 2019, and we did like a little night hike, but there was a storm coming in, so we had to kind of cut it short.
Starting point is 00:34:15 But where we ended our little night trek back into this area is where I would go back into the further force, like where the park technically ended, and it was on official trail systems that the bikers used, like cyclists and everything had made. And that's how you would get back to that area that I was talking about. So those areas that I was going to weren't really accessed by the public a lot. And it was surrounded by a bunch of farmlands too, like privately owned farmland. And so when you would go back to there, there was one place in the trail that would turn pretty sharp, like a 90-degree turn. And right there at that corner, there was a big cluster of like a briar patch or just like this big thorny, I mean, like a huge bush. big truck sized butt like thing of briars and it went back really far like he couldn't see back in there because it would get really dark and every time I would
Starting point is 00:35:12 come to that corner there was somebody there behind those briars like on the other side back behind it and they would let me know they were there when I would walk by because they would like shuffle their feet or something and you would hear the dirt and the gravel be like like move and and I would usually that would was where I would start my talking was there and I would talk to them and And I've always wondered who was back there. They would never let me see them. Never.
Starting point is 00:35:40 But one day I walked back there and this was after that experience. I talked to them for a while. I walked back and there's so many weird things would happen when I'd be back there. So I walked down the trail and you would come past this little creek before you would get to the power lines. And one time I was walking back there, I walked by the other. a briar patch, I walk to the creek right before you get to the power lines, and I heard something, and at the same time I heard, sounded like a teenager or something, like a kid, say like, make some noise.
Starting point is 00:36:16 One of the trees over there by the creek was like, boom, and started doing like this. And I was like, I looked over and there was nobody there. And I was like, what the hell was that, you know? And there was a lot of teenager pranks or like young one pranks that would happen like that, right? like they would just do things to kind of get a reaction out of you, I guess you could say. Oh, sure. And so anyways, while I was walking back, this is when I heard this question in my head and it said, why do you want to know what we are when you don't know what you are?
Starting point is 00:36:49 Oh, my goodness. And I was like, and it didn't hit me at first, right? I was just like, I don't know. Like, I was going there every day, right? I would leave work and just go straight there. So it had become like this obsession. And I think that they had kind of been like, dude, what are you doing? Right?
Starting point is 00:37:06 And so I remember walking around and I walked back and I was like, I'm going to go back to my car. Walking back to my car. And it just hit me. It just really sunk in. Like, what am I doing? I'm spending so much time in the woods trying to figure out what they are when I don't even know who I am. Like I really don't. Like we as humans, we don't know who we are.
Starting point is 00:37:25 We still have like a missing link, you know, and like our. And it's like the ultimate. in question like what are we you know um and so i i remember i stopped going there so much because there was times where i would go there and they would they wouldn't interact or do anything right and i would be back there and then when i get to my car or walk out of the area i would hear would knock from that area right and it was like it was either them saying like we were here but we don't want to interact right now or like he's gone you guys can come back out right and so it wasn't every time I would go back there, they would interact with me.
Starting point is 00:38:02 There was times I would back there and I would be where those rock formations were I was talking about. And I could hear something underneath my feet banging on the rocks. Wow. Another weird thing that would happen back there. But another thing I didn't mention was, so when I was back to that one time and I felt that love energy, and this is something people say, don't do, and I understand that. And I would say, don't do this, but at the time, after I had experienced that much love, I'd never felt that much love. In my mind, and I still stand by this, anything that would have a malevolent or evil intent would not be able to experience that amount of love and still want to remain evil or malevolent.
Starting point is 00:38:50 Because you would not want to lose your connection to that love. that's been my chasing the dragon moment ever since. I've been searching for that amount of love ever since. And so anything that would radiate that wouldn't want to lose that. So at the time, I was like, oh, my God, you know, this is love. So I invited them back to my house. And people would say what they want about that. Right.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Yeah. So. Yeah. And as a general statement, I will say I probably wouldn't recommend it. if you don't know how to deal with it, because I invited them back to my house. They started coming to my house. It was either that night or the night after
Starting point is 00:39:31 and tapping on the windows of our second-story bedroom. And that didn't freak me out, freak my wife out, and I apologize to her for this several times, you know. But they would just, like, tap the window. And they would do it all the times of the night, off and on for, like, months. Because we moved to Or, and probably a year or two after that incident.
Starting point is 00:39:58 So, but as I was learning to navigate through this, I opened myself up to other things that I shouldn't have. You know what I mean? Oh, I was like, this is going to be, this is going to be really interesting. Yeah. Because you probably, did you start to see like orbs inside your house and stuff? They were outside of our house in our backyard.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Okay. Okay. Gotcha. And things started happening in the house. So when I say inviting things back is not a general good idea. Be very specific. And this is what I've learned through the years of you be very specific and you set boundaries, right? Of what's acceptable, what you will allow and stick with those boundaries because they're going to be very important as you move through this. And it's not like the Sasquatch people are malevolent in that way, but if they don't have an idea of where your limit is,
Starting point is 00:40:57 of where they're going to push too far, right? They will go there. And it's not them being mean. Sometimes the teenagers or the young ones just being a little bit mischievous or rastish. Yeah, absolutely. So did you, was it as simple as you were like, hey, I want you guys to start and blah, blah, blah, blah, you know?
Starting point is 00:41:17 I just invited it in my house. I was like, verbally out loud. Yep, yep. Because in my mind, I was like, well, I'm going to their area. It seems like, and if I'm in their actual spot, right? Because I would see tree structures, which I didn't touch on, they would make these giant exes, right?
Starting point is 00:41:35 And I don't know how people interpret it exes. They could, like, some people say they mean keep out. Some people they say they mean, like, welcome or friends, welcome, something like that. Regardless of how you interpret it, I was in. in those areas, walking around, talking to them, right? So to me, I was like, it's not fair for me to do this in their spot and not offer them to come interact with us in our spot. That's interesting.
Starting point is 00:42:00 Yeah. So again, this is just my mentality on these things. If you're not prepared for that to happen, like actually prepared, then I wouldn't recommend doing that. Yeah. But it got interesting. It got fun. and it would get spooky.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Like I got spooked a couple times, I won't lie about that. And it was mostly because I did not know to set limits. And so, but I will tell this one story just to give people an idea of what it can be like. So on my wife, so the way our bed was set up, my wife's side of the bed was face this wall, the window faced the forest. And we had, we were in a subdivision, another thing that I want to touch. We were in a subdivision, like in suburban Atlanta, and they were coming to our house. We were the last house on a cul-de-sac, and there was forest behind us. But so they would usually come to that window, tap on the window.
Starting point is 00:43:00 And my window faced the backyard, which was fenced in, so it was not as easy to access. So we had this neighbor that lived across the street that had this dog, they would tie up to a tree, and the dog would bark a lot. And so this one day, I rolled my trash cans down our driveway to the street, and that dog started barking and it was just it's just a really it's one of those dogs was just barked for like an hour after you got it going and I remember going in the house and I said we got to do something about this dog because it's just really inconsiderate for everyone in the neighborhood for these people to do this and it's inconsiderate for the dog too so my wife and I were like what should we call animal control and I was like yeah let's call on in the morning let's just
Starting point is 00:43:38 go to sleep and so we went to sleep and so at that night I woke up to somebody tapping on the window on my side of the bed, which didn't usually happen. So I remember thinking like, oh, this is different. Something's going on. Should I go outside or should I wait here and see what happens? So I just decided to lay there and wait and see what happened next. And a couple minutes later, I heard like a tree breaking, like crack and fall over, which would happen occasionally in the woods behind our house. So I didn't really think a whole lot about it. I just remember thinking more like that's exciting that they tapped on my window this time. So there's a lot. They were in the backyard now.
Starting point is 00:44:16 And I fell asleep. I woke up the next morning. I go out to my car. I totally forgotten about all this. I started driving on the driveway. And in the driveway were my trash cans. And they were moved into my driveway facing the other direction. So like the handles were facing away from me.
Starting point is 00:44:35 And I remember being like, oh, ha, ha, guys, you know. Because that's the type of jokes they'll do. Like whoever would come by the house, So they would do little pranks, like move things around and stuff. And I was like, oh, ha, ha, guys, you know, you got me. And so I got, I got out of the car and I moved the trash cans back down. And when I put the trash cans back on the street and I looked up at my neighbor's house, the tree that the dog was always tied to was broken, pushed over.
Starting point is 00:45:00 And the dog was tied up to their front porch. And that dog was never outside again. And so it's just one of those things that, like, you can extrapolate. that all day, right? Like, how did they, were they listening to us, you know? Right. How did they know how to do that? But that's the type of thing that happened after they started coming to our house. That is, man, that lines up with a lot of other things I've heard in other experiencer accounts. So you were, you're saying then, but it did also open it up to other things coming inside. And I don't want to, if this is,
Starting point is 00:45:43 stuff where you're not wanting to talk about it. Do not worry about it. We can go right past it. It's important, right? Especially if I'm going to sit here and tell people to open up to them, not be scared of them, right? I also, it's responsible enough. It's responsible for me to tell people to be careful. There's other things out there.
Starting point is 00:46:03 And I don't mean that to scare people. I just mean like, you know how like in vampire movies, like vampires can't do anything to you unless you invite them in your house type stuff. It's on that level, right? You're a sovereign being. You have free will. They cannot interfere with your free will unless you give them permission to. They cannot enter you or your domicile unless you give them permission to. So you hold all the cards in this, right? You're the power player, but you have to know these beforehand, which I didn't at the time. And so when I say you invite things in, you need to set an idea of what you want to come in. So like I always set when I go camp, I set a protection around my area around my tent and I say like only things of a loving heart, entities of a loving heart, beings of a loving heart may enter this sacred space.
Starting point is 00:47:01 Anything with malevolence or ill intent may not enter this. you know so like that's what i mean by it happens on that sort of a level just setting intentions like that and sticking to them is super important so i say this because one night um i opened up myself to anyone who wanted to come into my dream state and come visit me and i was that night visited by an entity that was not there for good and so I won't get into that scenario. But it was my experience that let me know, like, okay, I can't let myself be open to just anything, right?
Starting point is 00:47:43 Like, you have to set. And so being respectful, having reverence for an area and for the beings in that area, having a loving mindset, it kind of sets the precedence for anything that would want to, say, like, do harm to you. It, like, automatically, they're like, oh, this guy. he knows. Like, I'm not going to be able to trick him. Because what they'll do is they can do things to trick you into giving away your sovereignty or to giving away and opening up to it. I don't know if that makes sense.
Starting point is 00:48:17 No, it does. It's a very subtle and nuanced thing. And so, two of the things that I've noticed, the two biggest things are fear and ego that leave people open to that manipulation. Oh, yeah. So, yeah, absolutely. I agree with you. Absolutely on that. It's, uh, there are things in this world that are evil and they will try to trick you and cause your downfall. And absolutely 100%.
Starting point is 00:48:47 Yep. Yeah. And ego is a big one because people that want to be like the guy, you know, or be like the person, they leave themselves open and vulnerable to information because they want to have that. Right. And so something will come to them and be like, oh, I'll tell you whatever you want to hear and then you'll let me in. You know, I think that there's a, there's just a lot of subtle nuance to all this stuff that people need to be careful of.
Starting point is 00:49:16 So, yeah, I forgot what I was talking about before. I think that's, that is a very good reminder for people that this is not a, this is not just, this stuff you hear on podcast. This is not just a game. There's you got to be careful what you do guys and what you put your trust in, whether that be, you know, religious, religious things or anything else. So it sounds like, so at this time we're about 2018 and then 2019 is when you guys move out to Oregon. Is that right? 2017. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:57 It sounds like once you get out there, it kind of. things got even more intense. Yeah. Yeah. It jumped up a level. Yeah. And so, oh, I'm totally, yeah. So in the process of learning all my stuff in Georgia, I actually met a group.
Starting point is 00:50:19 And that was Keith Bearden and Arlo Colette Williams. Oh, yeah, from Oklahoma. Yeah. So they started doing like campouts. Keith was having experiences in the area. And so they started doing campouts. They had found a spot where they had seen signs. And so they started doing these campouts.
Starting point is 00:50:39 And so I got Keith's book. I reached out to Keith. And I was like, one of the spots he mentioned in his book was a place that I was having experiences. Because there was a ton of stuff I didn't even mention yet that I had experiences in Georgia. And, you know, for the sake of time, I won't get into all those.
Starting point is 00:50:54 But I had reached out to Keith because, like I said, a spot he had experience I had too. And I was like, I want to talk to you about this. And he was like, well, we're having camp out. Why don't you come to camp out? So I went to the camp out and met everybody. And this was in a place that we had some of the most amazing experiences at.
Starting point is 00:51:13 And it was a place we would see eyeshine a lot. They would come into camp. They would come sit right behind us when we were by the fire. It was just one of those places that it was a state park. And the gates were closed at night. they would allow us to have campouts there. And so it got to the point where the Rangers were so happy that we were there researching in the area or experiencing them because they knew the Sasquatch people were there
Starting point is 00:51:43 and they didn't have anyone else to talk to about it. So they came to us and eventually we became friends with them and they gave us the code to the gate so we could go back there at night. And so me and Ginger Lockwood and Paul Lockwood, her husband, and sometimes Keith, we would go back there all the time because we only lived like 20 minutes away. I had some amazing experiences. But so I had that up until, you know, 2017. And then we moved out here to Oregon in 2017 and to Bend. And I came out to Oregon in 2001 and I've been wanting to move out here ever since. And it just took like 15 years, you know, to get everything lined up right. Sure. And so we moved out here.
Starting point is 00:52:29 And again, synchronistically, I know this sounds out there, but this is just how things have happened. And I have to be truthful about how they happen. This was May. We moved out here in April. And so early May, we're still a little naive about the weather here, right? Because we're used to the East Coast, you know. And so in May, like, it's not warm here yet. It's still cool, especially when you get into the mountains, right?
Starting point is 00:52:54 There's still a ton of snow. So we're like, let's go camp. I'm like, cool, so we get up, you know, get our things together, get the kids. I found a place on Google Maps that I wanted to check out. So on the way up there, the road was still closed because they hadn't plowed from that area for like 50 miles. You still have to plow it out in late June. And so I was like, oh, crap. So we'd go back, found a forest road.
Starting point is 00:53:20 We'd go up the forest road as far as we can a few miles as close as I can get to where I wanted to go. But then there was snow. I was like, shit. So we stopped. Sorry, I don't mean to cut aside. Oh, you're good. I'll take care of it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:35 So I found a spot. I was like, let's just park up here. Like, we'll camp here for the night. It was a great spot. And so we set up, get a fire going. We walk around and explore. It's just amazing. Like, there was just snow patches everywhere,
Starting point is 00:53:50 but the lakes were thawing out, and there was, like, frogs. And it was just such a cool experience. My kids were excited. You know, they were like eight. and five at the time. So we're sitting there by the fire, and the sun starts going down,
Starting point is 00:54:04 and it starts getting cold. Like, way colder than we thought it was going to be. We're a few thousand feet up higher than where we are here and been, which is probably like five, six thousand foot at that point. And so we had that talk. My wife and I was like, I don't know, man. It might be too cold for us. Like, her and I would have been fine,
Starting point is 00:54:21 but I think the kids might have been a little cold, and I didn't want to subject them to that. So I was like, why don't we just, call it tonight, go home, and then we'll come back and we're a little better prepared. And she was like, okay, that's a good idea. So it had gotten dark at that point. And so I was like, all right, I'm going to go start warming with the foreigner and we'll start packing up everything. So I go back to the foreigner. She's walking behind me, my wife, and I walk around, my side of the car was facing the woods on the other side of the forest road.
Starting point is 00:54:52 And so as I'm walking around my side to the driver's door, I walk up to it. And two, like, very large individuals come brushing through the woods towards me. And they just, you know, it was just like, like, stops breaking. And I was like, I laugh at this part. I stop and I look over and it's, you know, it's dark. I can't see anything right there. But there's just two individuals standing there. And I feel them.
Starting point is 00:55:21 And my wife stands up over the top of my foreigner. She goes, did you hear that? And I'm like, yeah, I heard that. They're right here. And so I was like, okay, we're leaving. Thank you for allowing us to stay here. And we're going to leave and appreciate it. And that was just my, that's how I deal with things.
Starting point is 00:55:43 I just talk out loud to them, right? And I feel like it's just well received when I do that. So they stayed there and kind of like kept an eye on us. And again, I didn't see them because it was too dark. but as we're loading up, and we just left. And so, again, that was my, like, this is my spot. I'm coming back there. And so I would go back there.
Starting point is 00:56:07 And jumping forward a few years, like, I had been going there. I would go there late at night by myself. I would just try and figure out, like, who was there. And eventually, they would always do things to let me know they were there. And they were, like, you know, brick sticks or, you know, like, make noises and do things. to let me know they were there. And then in 2020, they showed themselves to me, but that's jumping forward. And it was in like an interesting way where they like, they sent me these like images of
Starting point is 00:56:39 themselves while I was camping there by myself. Oh, wow. Like a psychic. Like a vision. Yeah. But. And that's a slippery slope to talk about, right? Because a lot of people say like, well, that's just your imagination.
Starting point is 00:56:52 but I had just laid down to go to sleep and I just closed my eyes and I closed my eyes and then there was just his face, the male's face was just right there and it was crystal clear, clearer than anything my eyes could do. I could see like every detail of his hair, of his facial features, and it just was like embedded in my memory.
Starting point is 00:57:19 And it was like it bypassed, you know, like your visual cortex, and all that stuff of your brain, and it was just like there. And I don't really know how to explain it. But I've since spoken to people who have experiences, too. So that was very reassuring, you know, to me that, like, I wasn't imagining it. So I saw him, and he had, like, black hair. It was kind of two inches long, maybe, and it just, like, laid back. I mean, rather handsome-looking face, like a primitive man-type look.
Starting point is 00:57:54 High kind of cheekbones, very flat nose, but not like a super flat. Like he had this little bump on the tip of his nose that was cool. But he had kind of like an Abe Lincoln style beard, like no mustache. But his skin was like a dry, ashy kind of color. So in contrast with his hair that was black, it made it look like a purplish navy blue-gray kind of color. And then, so I saw his face and then it transferred to like a female Sasquatch's face. And she had brown hair and Caucasian colored skin. And she was very pretty.
Starting point is 00:58:38 And that caught me off guard. And so this is one of those things where it's like, in order for your brain and your hippocampus to make images, it usually takes references for things that you experience to kind of puts the puzzle pieces together from what you're seeing to create an image in your brain. The thing that got me on this was like, it caught me off guard, right? It wasn't something that I had ever really imagined happening, was how pretty she was. She had a very pretty human-looking face, and I remember being struck by that. And anyways, so she looked at me and she was very peaceful.
Starting point is 00:59:14 He was stern, but peaceful. She was just very welcoming and peaceful. and then it transferred to a little one and he was black hair, Caucasian, light skin color face but his head was shaped like,
Starting point is 00:59:31 like, and I don't mean this disrespectful at all. It's just the best way I can describe it to people. Like Stewie from Family Guy. Oh, right? Kind of like a football almost. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Not that drastic. Yeah. Yeah, not that drastic, but that's the shape. And I remember like being, like, oh, wow, that's an interesting, you know, shape. And he was very, again, like very peaceful and pleasant. And so that's how I got introduced to that group.
Starting point is 00:59:57 And people can say whatever they want about that introduction. But I found that I feel that that's how the Sasquatch people like to present themselves more so than being out in the open and presenting themselves in a physical state because it leaves them vulnerable. And so, that's fascinating. Anyways. I have a question about that real quick. Yeah. So you at that point were not meditating. It was you had laid down, closed eyes, and it happened right away.
Starting point is 01:00:31 Are you also an individual, though, that does meditation as part of these interactions? I've tried, I've experimented with it. I'm just not very good at it meditation. It's just not something I'm good at. I'm just curious, yeah. Yeah. I have moments and I don't want to force it. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:00:52 Like, I don't want to go into an area and force the meditation. But there are times where I'll be like in an area and I'll be very relaxed and I will actually just go into a state of meditation. Because I do a lot. I spend a lot of time in the woods. And so that's like my place where I go and unwind and ground. And if I'm having issues, I'll just go and drum or just sit and. absorb and let things leave.
Starting point is 01:01:20 And I've had things happen in those types of states where they've let me know that they've been around or while I'm there doing that type of stuff. So I will say that I think meditation does help. I'm just not a pro at it by any means. Interesting.
Starting point is 01:01:37 So after you have like these visions come to your mind, to your vision of the three different individuals, how does that affect things interaction-wise or just with yourself in general after having that experience? So that group I have this connection with now. That area actually has like random people coming up occasionally because it's kind of remote, but it's just close enough that sometimes people will go back there and party, you know? And so they'll leave like these messes.
Starting point is 01:02:12 and part of my agreement with that group was like, hey, just let me know when I need to come up there, pick up trash. And I'm glad. And so I go up there a lot, pick up trash. So that instance in Oregon with that family showing me themselves in that fashion was a new thing for me. That wasn't, that was like, it was a very interesting experience for me. But so going back a little bit. I started, when I started experiencing that group, I found another area, and it kind of in the same way that the Georgia stuff unfolded, started having experiences, nothing crazy. And so there was a conference in 2019 in Enum Claw, Washington. Tom Cangrello put it on.
Starting point is 01:03:05 And so I was like, oh, I'm going to go up there and see some friends because Arlene Keith were going up there. And so I was like, I'll go up there. So I went up to the conference. And at this point, I was not, like, I say I'm a background person now. I was really a background person. And I was not really into opening up about the stuff. I was very reserved. And there is like a period of like imposter syndrome that I experienced, you know, coming into this.
Starting point is 01:03:37 So at that conference, I was sitting with Keith. The first night at the conference, they were like, anyone who wants to come up and talk about their experiences, you know, please come on up. And Keith was like, you should go up there and tell some new stories because you've got some great stuff. And I was like, I'm just not ready to talk about this stuff yet. And so that night I was camping by myself. And I went to camp. And I remember I was sitting by the, I was sitting by my campfire. And I was reading, I just bought Ron Morehead's Quantum Bigfoot.
Starting point is 01:04:07 I think that was the name of it. And I was, so I was reading that book by the fire. and as I was reading it, I heard, I was the only person in the campsite this night. I heard a voice in my head say, you must speak of this. And as that happens, this weird thing happened with my brain or my mind
Starting point is 01:04:28 where all my experiences kind of filed themselves away in a neat fashion. I don't know how to explain that part. Some people might understand what I'm saying. But it was almost as if all of the jumbles information that I had been acquiring over the years filed it away neatly. And I just understood
Starting point is 01:04:47 that it's really important for us to discuss this stuff. And so that message really sink in with me again. And that's when I stepped out and started talking about things. And so yeah, okay. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:05:06 so let's just dive into this part because this is where it was weird before, but this is really where I started. This is like where wow, okay. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, go for it, man. Yeah. We'll just jump into this because this is where it really ramped up.
Starting point is 01:05:21 So after that, and I started speaking about things coming onto the public eye a little bit more. I started getting these, like, again, messages or downloads. And it, I don't really know how to explain this part. Words are hard to use. Like, there's not really words in the English language that can explain some of this stuff adequately. I started getting these, like, messages that was coming from someone through a particular individual, but it was as if a group of people were talking to me and the messages were coming through one person. I don't know if that makes any sense.
Starting point is 01:06:05 It's like a group kind of discusses something, and then they're like, all right, tell them this. And then that person would tell me this. But it was embedded in the message was to understand. that it was a group. So I was working with a group of people. And I know this sounds crazy, but I have to be honest. It doesn't. It doesn't.
Starting point is 01:06:21 I have to be honest about this stuff, right? Because it's important. And so I reached out to Arla eventually because she's been like my guidance through a lot of this stuff. And I was like, I'm going to run this past you. Tell me what you think. And Arla is very interesting because she doesn't really answer you outright. she will give you a question or say something to make you think about it, right? And I find that the Sasquatch people do the same thing.
Starting point is 01:06:51 They're not going to tell you outright, but they might do something to make you think about it. So she would ask me these series of questions, and the questions kept leading me up. And I remember telling her a long time ago when we were in Georgia that, like, for whatever reason, I looked forward to having a Sasquatch teacher or like an interaction up close with one the same way that like a little girl might think of her wedding day. You know what I mean? Like I would daydream about having this like experience where I would meet a Sasquatch person and be able to communicate with them. I still. And I remember saying that as a joke one day. So, um, anyways, um, so I was bouncing stuff off for about what I was experiencing and it was like these energy things were coming into me. And I was like, I don't really know what's
Starting point is 01:07:35 going on. She'd be like, just ground yourself and you'll be okay. And so I was going to camp, This is a Memorial Day weekend of 2019. And I'm like, I won't get into all the details because there's some things I want to leave out on purpose. Whatever you're comfortable with, Sam. Yeah. So there was some things that Arla said, and I held onto them because I felt like they were important. But they were very vague, right. Just some things to look for.
Starting point is 01:08:11 And so I was like, okay. So I go up to camp and right off the bat, I noticed one of the things she mentioned. And I was like, no way. So I get to camp. We set up and it was really nice the first day. And then these clouds came in. We're on top of a ridgetop and we can overlook like we're about 6,500 feet and you can look at the high desert all around. I mean, you can see almost to Washington State from where we are.
Starting point is 01:08:40 It's an amazing area. And unfortunately, it just burned last week with one of the fires there. I have a feeling I know, yeah, it's terrible. Yeah, dude, the fires here right now are insane. So some rain came through that first night, and it dropped. I mean, like the temperature when we got up the next morning was like 34. And it was like the clouds were just sitting on top of us. It was cloudy and windy and foggy.
Starting point is 01:09:12 like terrible weather, like any, any sane individual would have left and just gone home, right? And some stubborn guy, and I just pushed through it. My kids were great sports. My wife was an awesome sport about it. We played games in the tent and just cooked and made the best of it. It was we're for two days. And at that point, I'm starting to wonder, like, is anything going to happen? You know, probably not or whatever. So that night, the last night we're in camp. I'm laying in my tent I'm going to close my eyes when I say this because it just helps me
Starting point is 01:09:45 bring it back So I'm laying in my tent And my forerner is maybe 10 feet away It's parked right here to my left And as I'm sleeping I hear A tree branch Or maybe a tree just like snapped in half In the valley below us
Starting point is 01:10:03 It was just like this pow And it just like echoed It came up But it got my heartbeat going and um and i and i remember trying to calm myself down and i was like okay calm down calm down and it was like between the break and me trying to calm down was maybe like two seconds
Starting point is 01:10:23 and then right next to me in the like outside of the tent between me and the forerner was a whistle and it was like you know and i've heard that whistle before and so i I was like, okay, someone's here. And so I started trying to call myself because your body is going to have a reaction, right? No matter how many times you see them or come to contact with them, your body is going to have like a chemical or hormonal,
Starting point is 01:10:52 you know, some kind of reaction, right? So my heart was like, wump, wump, boom, and you have to calm yourself down. And as I'm sitting here trying to breathe, and again, this is, it gets weird. So just bear with me because I just got to be truthful about this. I'm in my tent. My family's next to me.
Starting point is 01:11:12 They're all asleep. I'm just trying to do this breathing to call myself down. And I'm taking in these deep breaths. And part of this like breathing meditation I kind of do. So yeah, I do meditate like you were talking about earlier. I imagine the cold air coming in. When I draw it in and it goes into my lungs, I imagine it charging my heart. like my heart center and um this is just so every time the cold air because it was in the 30s again
Starting point is 01:11:42 and so i would just you'd feel it and so like it just would imagine this thing and it was calming me down and i was just waiting for something to happen and as i'm doing this this like light i don't really know explain it it was like a bubble of light came out of my chest and it was like around me and my family in the tent and I remember looking at it being like what is that and they're asleep my family's sleeping through this whole thing
Starting point is 01:12:18 which was another thing in itself and that's happened a couple times before and so okay so the person standing next to my tent she introduces herself to me as showing me her name. And so I see these,
Starting point is 01:12:37 I have my eyes closed at the time, but there's these block letters that kind of come into my field of view as my eyes are closed. And it said her name, which was Vavion. And they were doing this weird thing where they were kind of doing like this
Starting point is 01:12:49 coming in and out. And she, man, it's just really hard to explain this with words sometimes. So this weird thing happened where as I'm laying there trying to gather all
Starting point is 01:13:05 information, this like picture book of images and languages and words that I'm not familiar with start popping off in front of like, it's like this, you know, like a, you ever seen a flip book or whatever where someone will draw an image? And it was like that type of thing, but it was like all these things that I wasn't familiar with, symbols. I remember the DNA symbol being one of them. And like light language, which I've learned now is light language, but at the time I didn't know what it was. And so all these things are just going through my mind, like, and it's just like, it was
Starting point is 01:13:43 like a library's worth of information. And some sitting there and I'm like, what is going on? And so we did this weird thing. Another weird thing happened. It was like I turned inside out and I traveled into. myself. And again, I don't really know how to explain this. I wish I could show people what it was like, but I went into this like portal, traveled through it. It came to the other side. I was at this place where it was like, I can't get into that because this is going to take forever to talk about it.
Starting point is 01:14:22 But it was basically like where you go and you have a near death experience type thing. Oh, interesting. And she was there. Yeah. And so she was there. That's where we met like, again this all sounds crazy and I totally understand if it hadn't happened to me I would probably have a hard time believing it and so we
Starting point is 01:14:44 traveled back into the physical state I sat up in my tent and she was still right there and I remember rubbing my face being like in my back of my body like what is going on and I remember saying like
Starting point is 01:14:55 can I come outside and see you and I passed out and it was like she put me to sleep or something you know what I mean And then I woke up again and again was just like what just happened. So when you asked earlier about like when you meet one and then there's like an information type thing, that's how that happened. I've met people since then that have said that they've experienced similar things or not necessarily that exact scenario, but pieces of it maybe.
Starting point is 01:15:29 and so that's very reaffirming, you know, and like, because I will say, man, you question your sanity a lot through this, right? And so hearing other people experiencing this type of thing, it is very reassuring that it just, you just, you have a bond and a connection with people over this type of stuff that is really hard to break after that. Absolutely. Like when you have those things in common. were you able so the way that this individual looked that you had this experience with which you said is vivon vavion vavion sorry did it looks did vavion look similar to other um Sasquatch people that you had seen before
Starting point is 01:16:16 no no totally different she is um so i've heard several references to like you know there's different types of Sasquatch people. People like to categorize them as type 1, 2, 3, or 4, or whatever. And then you hear a reference to like ancient ones or primal beings, things like that. So what I explain her is she's more of like a primal being or more of what Sasquatch were before they're the modern day Sasquatch. I don't know if that makes sense. That makes sense. It's kind of like the ancestors of the Sasquatch. So she is an ancient primal being
Starting point is 01:16:55 And she is From what Again, man, that's going to sound crazy But she She has a very angelic voice She's very grandmotherly And she has like this head dress thing That she wears
Starting point is 01:17:13 And it's like a I've seen it in like Reference to say like Faye beings And like I've seen it in like reference to say like Faye beings And like I Irish folklore and like things like that. It's not like it's, but it's almost like it's part of her.
Starting point is 01:17:30 I don't really know how to explain it, but it's just like this headdress she wears that is like a a way to address herself amongst her people as like, I don't really know how to explain that. Does that make any sense? It's like. It does. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:49 man that is that is really really extremely interesting and so then at the end of that then you passed out and went to sleep and then is this a thing that you had you shared with your wife the next day what happens
Starting point is 01:18:07 and things like okay and she slept through the whole thing man that's crazy about the stuff but we've had experience before where things have happened in camp and they slept through it and I'm like how are you guys sleeping through this so there's that weird aspect to there too like we had we had someone um use our hatchet one night at camp i woke up to a wood knock and i was like what is that like where is this going and maybe 30 seconds later a minute
Starting point is 01:18:35 later i heard someone pick up our hatchet by our firewood and start like pretending to chop wood with it like they were the way i envisioned it was that it was like a little one who had been watching is chopped wood at camp all day and was like, I want to try that. And so they just picked up the hatchet and started chopping wood. And I was like, this is awesome. Do I come out of the tent? Do I just wait? And my family slept through the whole thing.
Starting point is 01:18:59 I don't know how, you know what I mean? Right. Just things like that happen. Wow. It's absolutely fascinating stuff. And I don't mean to jump around either. But would you be able to share, I know you had mentioned that you had gone out at least a time or two with Jeff Rohn.
Starting point is 01:19:24 Yeah. Yeah. I'm a good friend to Jeff through Sasquatch Summerfest. I think that would be fascinating to hear something that happened when the both of you were in the same place. Yeah. Absolutely. So I met Jeff. We had kind of been online friends before I moved out here.
Starting point is 01:19:43 And then I met him the first year I moved out here. and this was before I had met Vavion and everything like that. So this was kind of me getting settled in. So this 2017, so I don't know if you remember him mentioning a place called Camp Broken Arrow. Absolutely. Yeah, and it's off the Bigfoot Highway and, you know, like that whole area. And so he was like, I haven't been back there in a while, but you want to go back there with me? And I was like, absolutely.
Starting point is 01:20:13 So he and I meet up. in Estakeda where he was living at the time and we drive down there and um he was he told me he went down there a couple days before to try and check out the road and he was like man there was because the winter before i moved there was a crazy winter it was a ton of snow and he was like the road's really bad like there's trees down and and stuff he was like we're going to have to cut our way back so we went into it knowing we were going to have to i brought my chainsaw he brought you know his and so we we we we met up and investigated, we drove down there. And he said, he was like, well, I went there last week to
Starting point is 01:20:50 go check out of the road. And he was like, and when I got out of my truck, something ran up to the wood, like, you know, in the woods. And he was like, it kind of freaked me out. So I just left. And I was like, no, I get it. You know, like that, that's spooky sometimes, you know, especially when you're on the middle of nowhere. So we drove back. And it took us six hours that day to cut our way back. I mean, it was terrible. If we had known, I don't know if we had, we would have done it, right? But the further, further we went in, we were like, we don't, we're already invested. Let's get back there. So it took six hours, cut our way back.
Starting point is 01:21:23 We got back to camp. And it's the end of a force road. And you're kind of in this, it's elevated, but around you was like this ring of ridge. And it kind of is like you're in the middle of a bowl, but you're elevated a little bit above it. It's an amazing place. And they logged it in the 90s. and so, but it had all grown back and it's real, it's cool now. But so anyways, we get back there, we're sweaty, tired, you know,
Starting point is 01:21:51 I'm got, and their legs are all cut up and bloody, and we made our, made our dinner, and we went to sleep. And that, this is the first night, him and I can't. So, I had my, we had gotten back there so late, we didn't have a chance to set up tents or anything, so we just slept in our rigs, right? And so I had my forerunner backed into a spot. He had his, truck backed up. And I went to sleep. I had my, I roll my windows down when I sleep in the back of my
Starting point is 01:22:19 truck because I want to be able to listen to everything. And I also have this weird thing where if someone wants to reach in and touch me, they can. Okay, fair enough. Yeah. And so as I'm laying there, I'm going to sleep, I heard there's a gifting stump that we have set up. I heard someone walk up the hill from the gifting stump and they walked around a tree that was there and they came over to the side of my foreigner that I was sleeping in, and they sat down on a log right there. And I just remember thinking, holy crap, like the first time I'm here, this is happening, you know? And in a situation like that, which is why you're there, the last thing you'd expect to do is fall asleep. Instantly fell asleep.
Starting point is 01:23:06 Yep. Every time. And, right. And I fell asleep, and I woke up. at some point, I don't know what, and I woke up to the entire area, the air and everything, was just like this long, long, like vibration, like, you know, it was just like, and I was like, and I was like, what, what's going on? And I fell asleep again. I woke up again. I don't know how much later, and it was still happening. And I fell asleep again. And so anyways, I got up the next morning. And, um, oh, yeah, so I, so I, woke up and I realized that the sun was up and I heard whoever was not up, not up, but it was
Starting point is 01:23:47 like false dawn where the sun was starting to become a little light. And whoever was by my forerunner was walking around the tree going down the hill again. So it's like they had sat next to my forerunner the entire night. And I didn't see them because by the time I woke up and looked over, they were already around the other side of the tree going down the hill. And so anyways, we got up and we're sitting around the fire drink coffee and I was telling him what happened and he was like let me tell you what happened so I don't he's told you the story about um how he was being brain scanned oh yeah and like he was there and I believe this was the time where he he had this like vision while it was happening that he was being held by a Sasquatch woman and she was like like rubbing his
Starting point is 01:24:32 head and saying like it's going to be okay and yeah so that was that so while he was experiencing that I was in the car hearing this weird vibrational stuff and somebody was like, to me I took it as they were just keeping an eye on me, right? While this was happening to Jeff, that's how it fell. So someone was like keeping guard.
Starting point is 01:24:52 I was the first night, we camped together. And we've camped a few times. We camped Summerfest last year. We just camped this recent Summerfest. Oh, sorry. Hold on real quick. Whenever the Bigfoot Highway comes up, I
Starting point is 01:25:08 always say, guys, read the book by Joe Beeler first. You don't just drive into the Bigfoot Highway without extra gas, extra tires, extra everything to survive. I'm dead serious. Okay. Go ahead. No, it's, it is one of those places. It's crazy. It's a, dude, it is a very interesting place.
Starting point is 01:25:26 Yeah. And I'll tell one more story from that broken arrow spot. I've camped there a few times with him now. And this is just to kind of explain, like, how this place is. So I go there once another year and it's me and my oldest son and Jeff. And we're there the first night, just us, and then some other people were going to come in the next day. That first night, we were in the back of our foreigners again. Because by this time it had overgrown enough that you can't really set a tent up there.
Starting point is 01:25:53 And if you have a bunch of vehicles back there, you have to kind of, there's not enough room. So we just set up and sleep in the back of our rigs. I think he had, he either had his old four-runner or his Sequoia then. But so anyways, my son and I are sleeping in the back of our forewarners. I have my windows down and he's asleep in his rig. And I wake up to at some point in the night, I wake up to hearing his car door close, Jeff's car door close. And somebody walking up the trail, like up the road, the trail or whatever. And my first thought was, oh, he must have to use the bathroom or something.
Starting point is 01:26:32 And so anyways, they go walking up the trail. And I'm like laying there and like never hear him come back. And it was probably like 15 minutes or something. And I'm like, should I go check on him? Like, I wonder what he's up to. And again, I fall back to sleep. I wake up the next morning to him getting out of his car and starting to do coffee. And I'm like, oh, you know, he's up.
Starting point is 01:26:50 So I get up and I go over and I'm like, oh, man, where'd you go last night? I heard you get up, you know, late. And you've gone for a while. I never heard you come back. And he was like, I never left my car. Whoa. So. Yeah, it's wild.
Starting point is 01:27:06 And you guys are miles and miles out there. Yeah, we're a few miles back. And it's a place, too, that not allowed. I mean, there's no reason for people to really go back there. Right, right. You know. Oh, my goodness, dude. Wow.
Starting point is 01:27:19 So you were saying, and pardon my interrupting, you were saying that then around Sasquatch Summerfest, you guys had gone out or there was something that happened one of the previous years? Yeah. So last year at Summerfest, I don't know how much time we have left, but like I got, I mean, I got time. It's Sunday afternoon. I'm just chilling out and, you know, trying to get your cancer, so don't worry about it. I got the time. Okay, I got you.
Starting point is 01:27:56 So I'll try to keep it as short as possible. All right, cool. Last year at Summerfest, I spent Thursday before Summerfest driving around all the fours. roads up there. And exploring, like, trying to find cool places. I wanted to find a good place to camp, right? And so I spent four or five hours that Thursday driving around and dropping pinpoints on possible cool spots to camp. And I found a spot. And so normally what I'll do is I'll go by my feel, right? I'll pull in an area. It looks like a great camp. If I don't get a good feeling about it, I'm not going to camp there, right? So I found this one spot. It's not the biggest area.
Starting point is 01:28:30 it's big enough for similar or Bruncadero it's similar for like three maybe four cars to park back there and that's about it but I got back there and I just got that feeling it was like this is a spot and so I was like cool
Starting point is 01:28:45 so I told Jeff I was like I found our spot there's where we're in a camp so that first night I remember it being you know fairly uneventful we kind of had a feeling something might be there but it was real chill to very relaxing place So we go to Summerfest that first day
Starting point is 01:29:03 And then that night Yeah so that second night The guys from Arizona 4 were there last year Oh yeah yeah good guys And so Wayne from Arizona 4 came back to camp With me and Jeff that second night And so while we're sitting there back at camp I was talking we were talking to Wayne
Starting point is 01:29:22 And He was talking about being zapped Right and so I was trying to understand with their idea of being zapped is in comparison to what I remember hearing people say in Georgia was being zapped. And in Georgia, people say you get zapped, you would be like incapacitated or you weren't able to move. They were kind of frozen. And I wanted to make sure that I was getting their definition of zapped properly.
Starting point is 01:29:49 So I asked him, I said, this is what they call it back in Georgia. Is this what you guys experienced? And he was like, no. It's more of like a, like you'll get like a tingling sensation down. say like your arm or or it's like a it's a very subtle kind of tingling you'll feel in a certain part of your body and I was like oh that's interesting that's cool I think I've experienced that before so we go to sleep that night and I was laying there I woke up at some point I don't know how to explain this part really but I know people will understand this there's a thing that can
Starting point is 01:30:25 happen sometimes when they when the suspect people come into camp in which it almost feels like there's a vacuum and it's like there's no noise but it's like there's no air there's no anything and it's i don't really know how to explain it but it's just like there is just like beyond quiet and um i woke up to that and i was like there's somebody here and and you and i heard it sounded like somebody like maybe like popping an antenna on one of the cars or something. And so while I'm there listening or just trying to see if anything was going to happen, I felt like on the heel of my foot near my Achilles tendon, I felt this like electrical pulsation of like this like twisting electrical kind of sensation of like being like a very low amperage
Starting point is 01:31:21 electrical kind of current. And it was like the circular pattern, the way it was moving. And I didn't really. And I was like, that is something I've never felt before. And so the moon was not full that weekend, but it was pretty two-thirds-ish, you know. And it was shining from behind my head onto the trees that my feet were facing. And so when I, when I started to feel that sensation, I looked, I opened my eyes to look at my feet. And when I looked at my feet, I saw a black shadow move, just like, who just like move to my left to the right. And my first instinct or my first like thought was like, oh, that's what zapping.
Starting point is 01:32:05 That's what Wayne was explaining what zapping feels like. So to me, this is just how I interpret this situation, that individual was listening to us that night because this was like midnight or something that we were talking, just sitting out in the dark talking. And some things had happened. But so it felt like to me, somebody was listening to us while we were talking about that. And then later on was like, this is what he was talking about and gave me like a,
Starting point is 01:32:32 you know what I mean? Like gave me a little sample of what he was. A hundred percent. Yeah. That is fascinating. How that comes, that kind of thing comes up a lot in these interviews is that someone will say something and then it'll be addressed in some way by some interaction with the Sasquatch people.
Starting point is 01:32:53 later on. It's just, it's so wild how it works out. Oh, it happens a lot. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Oh, my goodness. That is really cool to know another. I like figuring out and hearing different things that happened around that festival. It's cool to hear another thing that happened last year. I don't know if we were able to talk. Sorry, if we didn't. I'm sorry we weren't able to meet last year. We met briefly, but again, it was very, it was very, you know, you were, you know, yeah. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 01:33:34 Wow. Wow, wow, wow, wow. So is that the main thing you've had happen around Oakridge? So that was, okay, so the next night, I think, okay, so that happened on Friday night, because that was the first night at the festival. Saturday night, none of the, we left. festival and just Jeff and I, Chris Kramer was going to come up with us that second night, I believe, but then it ended up
Starting point is 01:33:59 not working out and he couldn't come up. So it was just me and Jeff that second night and we were sitting by the the, now we didn't have a fire last year. So we were just sitting there talking and it was getting close to midnight again and somebody threw a rock in camp
Starting point is 01:34:15 and it was a pretty decent size rock, say like softball size, just got tossed right behind Jeff's rig to Jeff's left and he was like Did you hear that? I was like, yep. And so we know that they were there listening to us. And then, so we decided to go to sleep.
Starting point is 01:34:31 I get in mine, I get in, I get laid down and I'm settled in. And as soon as I stopped moving, which seems to happen a lot, somebody ran by my side of the foreigner, just like super fast. And it made me like jump. Exactly, exactly. And I laughed. And I was like, oh, it got me. So that was last year. And then this year I camped in the same spot.
Starting point is 01:34:57 Thursday night, I got there by myself and camped by myself there. While I was sitting, and this is the same area, I really liked the spots very relaxing. I was sitting there that first night and somebody broke a stick right down the road from us, right down the forest road. And it was a very deliberate, because it was like quiet, like nothing. No birds, no nothing. Just like a little bit of a breeze occasionally through the trees. and it was just like the snap. And I looked over, but it was dark back there, you know,
Starting point is 01:35:27 and I was like, what should I do? Should I go down there? So I just decided to wait. I was like, we'll see where this goes. And I don't remember anything else happening that night. I went to sleep, and it was relatively quiet. The next night I'm sitting there, Jeff, and our friend Greg came back with us this time.
Starting point is 01:35:45 Jeff and Greg had gone to bed, and I was sitting out by the fire by myself for about an hour, and I was kind of, you know, just chilling. And from that same spot, I heard that break, that tree break, or that tree branch break. I heard a woman clear her throat. Wow. And if you look, so the way the firelight was going, when I looked down there, it was like, that was like right at the edge of it, and it was pitch black back there, because there was really no moon this year.
Starting point is 01:36:12 And I looked over there, and I just heard it, it was just like this, ahem, or, like, kind of. And I, again, was like, should I? walk down there and I didn't I don't know something didn't feel a hundred percent about I'm not saying it was like a bad situation but I just didn't feel like I should walk down there so I just sat there and I was like I'll see what happens but um I think that was another one of those nights where like somebody I come in the camp but it wasn't really like crazy but um Sunday morning when I got to leave I walked back there's a spring behind camp I walked back to the spring or as close as I could get to it and I found a 16 inch print back there
Starting point is 01:36:51 Oh, my goodness. Wow, really. Yeah. So Jeff and Greg got up and left early because Greg had to drive back to Boise. And so they left and I spent about three or four hours back there by myself and that's when I found that track. And so it kind of, I've had things like that happen before where it's like an affirmation or like we were here. You know what I mean? They'll like leave something to let you know that they were there. A hundred percent. I mean, man, the stuff I've experienced to know. over, let's see, it's only been two years because I missed this year. I mean, not being able to move from a nylon chair I was sitting in, 16-inch tracks,
Starting point is 01:37:37 wood knocks in response to asking if you can make a noise out loud, the weird one was down by Hills Creek Reservoir, seeing silhouette of a Sasquatch go into a vine-covered, pine tree on the side of the road. That was, that was, that weirded me out big time. Hills Creek is weird, dude. It is. It's a fun place.
Starting point is 01:38:01 My goodness. Sam, your journey is, is incredible. I mean, what incredible road that you've gone through from Canada to Georgia to Oregon. And I know, if you wrote a book, it would be. the most incredible book because it would just have so much in it. But do you have maybe to ask you another one more question. Do you have a goal through all your interactions with the Sasquatch people? A goal.
Starting point is 01:38:42 I just really love experiencing these things. It's just, it's shaped me into such a different person than when I started this journey. I grew up in an urban city environment. You know, I'm Washington, D.C. area, and it's changed me into, like, a highly spiritual, I mean, basically a hippie, you know what I mean? Like, I, it's completely, if 20-year-old Sam met me, I would, 20-year-old Sam would fight me. You know what I mean? It was just like, like, how much I've changed, and I owe it to everything that they've
Starting point is 01:39:16 shared with me over the years. And paradigm shift after paradigm shift, it just been shattered. You know, and I met such, this is probably the, other than that, the best part of it is the people that I've met during this. Absolute, salt of the earth, best people I've ever met. 100%. Yeah. I would say, I agree right with you. The best part of doing this podcast for years has been the relationships and the people that you meet along the way.
Starting point is 01:39:48 It sounds like something you hear a lot, but it really is truthful in this community. You can find some incredible people that will change your life. But Sam, thank you so much for spending some time with your story today, sharing your story, and I'm sure people were able to meet a lot or were able to learn a lot from it. I hope that they were. I know I'll be listening to this one again. It sounds like you are a guy who prefers to be in the background, or do you have anything people can follow your journeys through,
Starting point is 01:40:31 like, any YouTube channel or anything like that? I do have a YouTube channel. I'm getting better at it. I did speak at a conference once, and I feel like I watched it. I heard people say that it was fine, but I'm very, this is such an important topic to me. I want to be precise on my messaging. So I'm still working through learning how to become a better speaker and things like that.
Starting point is 01:40:58 So I do have a YouTube page. You can find that if you look up Sand Chandler, 108, that is just kind of, I used to do a show with Arla back in the day, and there's some of our episodes on that. And then I have made videos of some of my adventures or whatever, you know, like excursions into the forest. And I kind of share some areas. So some of the stories I've talked about, I actually have videos of me sharing some of those stories in my YouTube. I also started recently a cryptid research group. It's called L-O-R-E-G-O-N. And so I'm good friends with Randy Sylvie. He does been Bifford Research Group. And he likes to
Starting point is 01:41:45 mainly work with like the Sasquatch people and the Bigfoot people, but I know that there's a lot of other things out there in the woods that people have experiences with. So I started this as kind of like a side thing to get people to share their experiences with the weird things that happen or the other beings and entities that they've seen. So I do have a Facebook page on that. That's kind of up and coming. So I'm getting slow roll out on that one. But so yeah, that's probably the best way to check me out and um yeah uh yeah thanks for having me man this has been great absolutely so i will have uh youtube and facebook group link in the show notes or descriptions so listeners can check that out but thank you again for being on the show sam we will definitely stay in touch and hopefully
Starting point is 01:42:35 we'll be able to talk more next year out in oakridge yeah absolutely before we wrap this episode i want to say something directly to a very specific group of listeners. If you're in the military, any branch, or forces, and if you've seen something that no one can explain, or if you're a national park ranger or forestry worker who's been told to stay quiet, if you're a pilot who's seen something strange down on the ground, or if you're with the FBI, a federal agency, or working intelligence, and you've stumbled upon something you're not allowed to talk about, and if you're a firefighter, paramedic, or search and rescue responder
Starting point is 01:43:14 who's heard screams or found tracks that didn't make sense. If you're in the logging industry on a remote oil field or trucker with government contracts and you've had something happen that you've never told a soul. And if you're a biologist,
Starting point is 01:43:29 a wildlife specialist, or a field researcher under contract who has found evidence you're not allowed to report. If you're a pastor, a missionary, or someone on a spiritual retreat and you saw something that shook your faith, Or if you work in the shadows, CIA, NSA, or anything with clearance, and you've seen what the public hasn't, then I want to talk to you.
