Bigfoot Society - Southern Utah Camper Shares Years of Sasquatch Encounters Near Cedar City!
Episode Date: March 13, 2026In this episode, we delve into the extraordinary experiences of Kasey from Southern Utah, a lifelong hiker and camper who began noticing something unusual during family trips in the rugged hills near ...Cedar City and Pine Valley Reservoir. What started as a quiet night under the stars soon unfolded into glowing eyes at the tree line, a shadow moving past a tent in the moonlight, and footprints pressed deep into the earth with striking detail.Over the years, repeated visits to a remote creek campsite revealed towering wood structures, trees snapped in unsettling ways, and moments in the dark that shifted the atmosphere entirely. With each trip, the activity seemed to build — subtle at first, then undeniable. A low growl from the brush. Movement just beyond the reach of a flashlight. Physical evidence left behind in places few people travel.Kasey shares his journey thoughtfully, reflecting on the land, the history of Southern Utah stretching toward Arizona, and the possibility that something has long moved through these canyon corridors. From tracks and structures to deeper questions about awareness and connection, his account paints a vivid picture of Bigfoot’s presence in the Southwest.Join us as we explore Kasey’s unfolding encounters and the mysterious presence that lingers in the wild landscapes of Utah.🗣️ Share Your StoryHad a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience?Send it to bigfootsociety@gmail.com – your story might be featured on the show!🎥 Watch & Subscribe on YouTube🔴 Subscribe here → Bigfoot Society YouTube💬 Leave a comment & let us know your thoughts!📞 Leave a voicemail with your story → Speakpipe (Use multiple voicemails if needed)👥 Share this episode → Watch & Share🎧 More episodes → Podcast Playlist🌲 Recommended: New Jersey Bigfoot Encounters💥 Support the Show & Get Perks✅ Join the community on Supercast – Become a Member✅ Listen ad-free & early on YouTube – Join Here📱 Let’s ConnectInstagram: @bigfootsocietyTwitter: @bigfoot_societyTikTok: @bigfoot.society🧰 Tools & Partners I Use (Affiliate Links)These help support the show at no extra cost to you:Beam (Better Sleep): Try BeamWildgrain (Better Bread): Join HereSeed (Probiotics): Get SeedMedi-Share (Healthcare): Learn MoreLMNT (Electrolytes) Free Sample Pack with your first purchase! : Get LMNTOrganic and non-GMO groceries delivered for lesshttp://thrv.me/uarEhS🎙️ Podcasting Tools:Repurpose.io: Try ItDescript: Sign UpStreamyard: Start RecordingRiverside.fm: Try Riverside🎧 My Audio Interface: View on Amazon☕ Buy Me a Coffee – Support Here🛍️ Grab Some Merch – Shop on Etsy📬 Mailing Address:Bigfoot Society125 E 1st St. #233Earlham, IA 50072

So stay with us.
All right, Bigfoot Society.
Welcome back.
We've got the privilege of talking to Casey today.
Casey is an individual that is out there from the southern Utah area.
He is a lifelong hiker and camper, and we got connected through a Facebook post, and he'll be sharing some things about, I believe, southern Utah, Arizona, all sorts of entrusting stuff.
So welcome to the show, Casey.
How are you doing today, man?
I'm not a deserve.
How are you doing?
Awesome, yeah.
Myself as well.
But anything else that the listeners would want to know about you before we get going, Casey?
just an outdoorsy kind of guy blue collar you know nothing special awesome very good well yeah man
so feel free to take us back to uh to uh you know let's let's just go kind of chronological here
like when was the first time that you realized that you had something weird going on in in one
of your experiences for sure um so
So, Victor was not even a thought in my head until about 2019.
I saw a documentary about the Patty Gimlin film, the one where they used the athlete to recreate it and see if they could, you know.
And I just really started contemplating the concept.
And I have a buddy who's in, who was in Southern Utah.
At the time, I was living in Nevada.
I wasn't living in Utah yet.
But it was August of 2020.
My buddy was like, hey, you want to go camping?
I was like, yeah, for sure.
And I had a, you know, I was married, a couple of kids at the time.
And he was married in a couple of kids.
And we went up to spot a little north of Cedar.
And we drove from Nevada, so we had a very long drive.
And so we didn't get there until close to dark.
dark. And he was like, hey, let's get a fire going. I was like, all right. So we went out
into the tree line to see if we could find some wood. And I brought a saws doll. I thought I was,
you know, cool. And he brought an axe. And there was a big downed tree. And we started like
trying to cut off like branches and things like that. And so he's taking his axe to it. And
Now that I think about it, essentially wood knocks, you know, it didn't click until we were driving home, but
um, so we ended up finding some wood that had been cut prior on the other side of the log.
And if whoever put that there, I apologize, we took you wood.
We ended up not being able to use it because I guess it was a fire ban and whatnot.
But so while, so we get the wood, we end up having to put out the fire or whatever.
And I'm setting on my tent.
And I had a 10-man tent for some reason.
It's brand new.
I was just, you know, breaking it in.
And I had a headland upon so I could see because, like I said, we didn't get there until after dark.
And I kept getting a weird feeling.
So I would look up and I would look to my right.
And there was the tree line.
There was like a bigger clearing, but we were in like this small clearing kind of like just off the other clearing, but then the woodline was literally just, I want to say it was about 60 feet away from our hand site.
And I'm setting up the tent and I got this weird feeling to look right.
And I looked right.
And I saw two sets of eyes, one higher than the other.
and then I looked over
and a few feet away from those two, I saw another one.
I was telling myself at the time that
maybe it's owls.
It's got to be a bird.
Right?
So they've got to be birds or something.
But now that I think about it,
the distance they were and how hard
the eyes were separate,
the distance between the eyes,
I just, I don't see it being a bird.
And a lot of birds, they're kind of offset to the side a little bit.
So I just, I don't have a hard time.
you know convincing myself for that um and uh so anyway we we make dinner and we're all in bed
and so the back of my tent was facing the tree line the front was facing my so my buddy was
sleeping in the bed of his truck and his daughters had a little small tent right in front of the truck so
the front of my tent was facing his truck but the back was facing the tree line now my son he didn't
say anything until we were heading home but
I'm a very light sleeper, especially out in the woods, because it's, you know, it's just a new environment and things like that.
So very late, I'm a light sleeper at home too, but I'm laying in there and I'm facing my buddy's truck.
I'm facing the front of my tent.
And my son was facing the back.
And I just hear walking.
Now, the fact that I'm not only a light sleeper, but it's like, I would have heard him get up.
He was literally no more than like five, six feet away from my tent.
I would have heard him get out of the bed of his truck and, you know, walk over to go to the bathroom.
I didn't hear him get up.
But I hear walking.
And as I get, and get a little ahead of myself, I apologize.
So the next morning, his kids were like, hey, let's go walk up to a mountain.
And I, a little bit of a helicopter parent.
My kids were still fairly young in the single digits.
And I was like, well, I'm going to go with the kids.
And so I walked with them and we ended up seeing a, well, I didn't have seen a structure, like, kind of just like it matched.
You know, there was a branch like a tree with like a branch sticking out like this and there were two branches sticking in between it like that.
And so that's pretty interesting.
And I'm looking around and I ended up seeing a footprint.
I did take pictures of them, but like I said, I'm doing this on my phone so I unfortunately can't like pop them up.
But, and I was like, that's pretty interesting.
You know, we ended up leaving later that day.
And I told my wife, I was like, hey, do you hear anything last night?
And she didn't.
She's a heavy sleeper.
But my son was like, I saw a silhouette walk past the back.
And he didn't say silhouette.
There's two little.
He's like, he said he saw a shadow or something walk past the back.
And so I was like, it's pretty interesting.
That's like my first real, like, um,
like in counter.
And then there was another time I was camping with that same buddy
in the Pine Valley Reservoir.
And it was April of 2021.
We were just sitting around the campfire.
And I didn't know where just a bunch of deer just kind of ran off the side of the
mountain into this little clearing that we were.
you're camped at.
And,
um,
um,
um,
we're like,
wow,
that's crazy.
And I got,
you know,
video of them coming down.
I was like,
wow,
that's awesome.
And,
uh,
but the next morning,
we decided,
you know,
we'll just go for a little hike.
So you hike to the end of the campground.
There's a trailhead.
And we kind of did more of a loop.
We didn't do like the whole trail.
But we're coming back and ended up getting a picture of a real good print.
And I just,
like,
again just everything started solidifying this for me that okay this is you know this is the thing
um and then back in november of 2021 me and my family decided to go camping in that spot that uh
my buddy had taken us to uh north to cedar and um we had um we'd um we'd hurt
It was like November, so it was like 18 degrees outside.
And I had a little heater and I'm like, man, this thing's not really keeping up, you know.
And we heard a tree break, but again, at the time, I was like, maybe it was just, you know, because it's so cold to ice, it froze in a broker brain.
So I'm not committing that to anything, but that was like, hmm, because me and my wife, by that time, it had multiple conversations.
She's watching me watch documentaries at the topic.
And so her and I were overlipped each other like, all right.
I was like, well, you know what, since the heater's not working, let's go sleep in the truck.
So we all ended up going to sleep in the truck.
And so the next morning I'm like, hey, let's go, let's go walk around.
You know, we like to, we're pretty outdoorsy.
So we just walked around the inside the woodline.
But at one spot, and again, like I do have pictures of all the stuff.
There was a, there was a campsite that had been tore up, like the tent.
was down there's bunch of trash everywhere like a foam cooler was just thrown about um and there was a uh it's
funny because we were walking to it we found a uh the the tent poles and uh but it was snapped but this
was like almost almost 100 yards from where the tent was and because we picked that up really
that's crazy because the tent was like it wasn't just up in the clearing it was like up and around and it was
up against the tree line. So you had to come around to see it. That's what we didn't see it before.
That's why the tent spiked, or the tent pole was an anomaly dust.
I'm like, wow, that's crazy. So I took pictures of it. And then we get just a little further
into the tree line, not very far, like a stone's throw away. And there was this massive structure.
And I was like, oh, dude, it's phenomenal, right? So I started going in taking pictures of it
and stuff like that.
And one of the craziest things about the structure that made me things is it wasn't manmade
was the initial log that it was posted up to was just massive.
But it was being held down by another log just by like that much.
It was just sitting in it, you know, just barely.
So it was pretty intense.
It was very big structure.
And then there was another log.
It looked like it had been cut, but for some reason,
it was eight to ten feet up in a tree, just this log that had been cut about eight inches in
diameter, just in a tree.
You know, so I took a picture of that.
And then, like, we started walking along the ridge or whatever, and we just kept finding structures.
One of them had just a small tree just right through it, and it was a structure built around
it.
Um, it was just, it was just phenomenal.
And then there was one other time north of Cedar, we were just looking for campsites, basically, you know, because we don't like to pay for camping.
So we try to file like BLM and stuff like that in camp on.
And we were just, we had parked on the side of the road, but we walked up one way and we kind of did like a loop and came back down.
And on our way down, I found another structure.
And I obviously had the prediction of it.
but the top was broke and twisted down,
and then there was a bunch of branches on top of it.
That's how it was able to be formed.
And I took pictures, you know, my kids in,
and I got a picture of me next to it.
I'm about 5-6, 5-7, and it was, again,
it was snapped at about 10 feet maybe.
And it was fairly thick, you know.
And so a buddy of mine,
he runs southern Utah Bigfoot Association.
He's a lot like Joel Thomas.
Someone he interviewed a while back.
He's also a traveling musician,
but he also studies, you know, Bigfoot and, you know,
there's some extraterrificial stuff as well he's looked into.
That's kind of how I got into, like, wanting to share my encounters
as, you know, through him.
I started talking to him and started opening up.
about it. But he had a show out in Cedar and I was like, hey, there was a structure out here.
Do you want to go check it out? He's like, yeah. So we went up and we ended up finding like three or
four more structures that weren't there when me and my family went. But this was like three, four
years prior that we found the one. So we went up and we found it was like, yeah, about three
or four other structures that weren't there before. Plus there was a tree that was in between
two trees just sitting there and there's no root base.
know, it didn't snap and fall in between there because there was no root base there.
There was this other spot just north of like Pine Valley, kind of south of Cedar City.
There was a spot that had another buddy of mine and I had found kind of on accident.
You know, we were looking for, you know, a trailhead, you know, we're trying to find a trail to hike.
And we ended up trying to hike it and we only got like halfway, rain it done.
I'm just trying to start coming through, so we turned around.
So we found this really neat campsite, and we, you know, him and I camp there a couple of times, nothing crazy.
But, sorry.
So how this spot works is there's three campsites.
And it's like an unstationed campground.
There's, you know, no fees, nothing like that.
But there's, each site has a bench and they have like fire pits, but that's it.
There's no bathrooms.
There's no, you know, scenes.
Nothing like that, but a stone's store away, there's a creek.
And so we really like this spot because there's access to water.
It's pretty quiet, pretty clean.
And the first time we brought our families there, we noticed a, so there was this structure,
like, so like the best camping spot is like the biggest one there.
and it's like the closest to the water.
But you got to go over a little hill, you know,
and then you just walk out, you know,
a couple hundred feet or so,
and then there's the creek.
So,
but right over the hill,
there was a structure,
and it was just like,
an upside down you almost,
it was just like this.
And been there as many times,
we camped there a few times
because it's such a nice spot,
and it's one of our favorite spots,
but it is a little hard to get to.
You definitely need, like,
four-wheel drive,
at least some good clearance.
Some good tires.
And so every time we go out there, you know, it's like,
I mean, we heard footprints one time, you know, nothing crazy.
But there's another spot that's kind of off of this spot.
Like, it's just before you get to that can site.
But this one doesn't have a table.
It doesn't have like an actual fire pit.
It's just a little spot right off the road that you can camp at.
And it's actually closer to the creek than the other one.
So I brought another buddy.
mine from high school. The buddy that I had cancer with, you know, prior, you know, he brings his
family every mind. And so we ended up camping at this spot, the one off, because there was, like,
some people camping those spots because it's a good spot. So we ended up having to camp in
the spot that's just off of the good one. And we're sitting around the fire, and I was facing, like,
the kind of the way you come in
and there's
there's a bar wire fence
because they have free range out there
and this is going to be pertinent to another encounter
iPad out there. So there's like a
bar wire fence, you know.
And I'm sitting
facing this fence
and
I see a deer go by them.
Oh dude a deer! Because I had my headlimp on.
And
all of a sudden
I say coyote.
I was like, oh, dude, a coyote.
My buddy was kind of sitting out there watching with me.
And he's kind of like Yosemite Sam.
And he's, I mean, he's got a decent AR with a nice flashlight on it.
So anytime he gets a chance to pop it out, he does.
So he pulls out his AR.
Now, he brought his camper.
I bought a tent.
I'm not into glamping.
I like to throw a tank down.
You know, the fanciest thing I do is like sleeping pads because, you know, the rocks are no fun.
And so he pulls out his air and he's like trying to see if you can see anything.
And then he sees his eyes.
And I couldn't see him because I have a stigmatism.
So I got my glasses.
And the headlamp I had at the time was one of those ones where you could move it
and have like the bar but have like the beam on the side.
So any like I would put my glasses on and I would turn my headland on.
But I would get a glare.
So I couldn't see anything.
I would take my glasses off and I couldn't see anything.

So I'm like, dude, what is it?
And he's been in, like, security for a very long time.
He's very disciplined in that aspect.
And he's like, dude, I'm going to shoot this thing.
dude, dude, if it keep, like, so what he said it was doing is he could see the eyes, but it was doing this.
And it was coming closer.
It was walking towards us very slowly, but it was doing this.
And he's like, dude, I watched him switch it from safe to fire.
I was carrying, but I had a sidearm, and I just unsnapped.
I didn't draw.
I just had it unsnapped.
And I'm just like, dude, tell me, like, I'm like, be careful.
It could be a cow because, again, they have free range out there.
And he was like, all right, that's a dude.
we're going to bed.
He put his kids up in the camp and I was like,
all right, guys, let's get in the tent.
Let's go to bed.
Next morning, we walk over to about that area.
We're trying to guess to me, you know,
see if we saw anything or see if we could see the height of this thing.
And where he said it was, because I could see the barbed wire fence.
But, like, and I could kind of see the camp,
but there's still some shrubbering kind of obstructing my view.
So it was at least a foot or two taller than me.
So like a cow would come up to about my chest.
So we're like, yeah, do that's crazy.
So again, call it a creepy spot.
So our last encounter route there.
Oh, my gosh.
So we had, it was March of 2025.
And so in this spot,
But shortly after we got there, I noticed there was massive tree just knocked over.
And it's like, it wasn't like in the road, but it was like real close to it.
And I was like, dude, that's crazy.
That tree wasn't knocked out last when we came here because the last time we tried to camp there,
there was a bunch of people there.
And my buddy actually hit the awning of his camper on that tree.
And the tree didn't follow up.
So this tree is all of a sudden knocked over.
I'm like, oh, that's pretty crazy, dude.
Maybe someone hit it on, like, one of those, their UAVs or ATVs or whatever.
Like, maybe somebody hit it.
Because it was just snapped.
I didn't see any, like, damage on it.
I wasn't really looking that close.
So I was like, man, that's crazy.
So we kind of started setting up camp.
We hadn't, like, set up the tent yet.
We're going to do that closer to bedtime.
And I go over the hill to go to the creek so we can get some water so we can, like, wash
dishes and things like that.
We don't drink that water.
We'll just.
wash our hands with. I mean, we do have filters, so if we needed to. But we'll, I was like,
hey, let's go get some water. And I have like a five-gallon bucket with a little spout on it that I can
use to flip up. So we can wash hands or wash the dishes. And so we go over the hill and that
structure that has been there for at least two or three years, the left side of it is collapsed.
And somebody had been cutting a tree back there. We don't believe in that. There's plenty of
deadfall out there to get and keep a fire going. You don't need to cut down any new, like,
lie trees. You don't need to do that. I don't see the point in it. I don't bring my saws out
with him anymore. I don't bring an ass. I bring a little hatchet just in case they, like, clean
stuff up, whatever. And there was a tree cut down. I was like, dude, that's crazy. It's, you know,
it infuriated me if I'm like, whatever. So we go get our water and, like, so at this creek,
something that I have learned in camping there is you don't go on the other side of the
creek because that's usually when something happens.
So, and I told my kids that, hey, stay on this side of the creek. Do not go on that side.
Because the other side of the creek, it's, I've been over there, and it's like the vibe is
different. It feels very heavy, very dark, and it's pretty overgrown. So I'm like, yeah,
we're not going over there. Now, there's plenty of deadfall back there. And for
But there's plenty of like overgrowth.
I'm sorry, not dead ball, overgrowth.
And so it's just we don't go over there.
It's how much is nothing to do that.
And we're at the creek getting water, but they have crawdads that are just massive.
Like little lobster side that's crazy.
So we were trying to, you know, play with the, you know,
crawd ass trying to catch them and stuff like that.
And on the corner of my eye, I see my oldest jump over the creek.
And I looked over and I said,
did you just go on the other side of the creek? She was,
well, it was just real quick. I'm like,
I don't care. I told you not to go on the other side of the creek.
So I was like, no, we're done, we're done.
So we all hauled it back to camp.
So we get back to camp.
And so I had it, me and my buddy were so at the nice spot, like it's a creepy spot.
It's like a you. You can come in on one side and go out on the other.
So we both pulled in, me and my buddy were parked right next to each other on the
the side going out.
And, no, no, no, no.
He was actually back in on the other way.
Normally he parks next to me on the other side,
but he was actually on the other side.
So I had a,
I got a roof rack and I got like a bag,
one of those little travel bags.
And we put like our tents,
our tent, our sleeping bags,
our sleeping bags.
It's just stuff like that in there,
like the chairs and stuff like that.
We put all that in there.
So my wife is setting up the tent.
Well, we got the tent set up, but she's setting up the best.
So me and the kids are getting up on the car, we're pulling stuff down, and I'm handing it to my wife, or I'm handing it to my kids.
My kids are heading into my wife.
And my oldest, who was the one that went on the other side of the creek, I was on the back end of the car.
So, like, I was stepping on the rear passenger door to get up or going, stepping on the back bumper and reaching you to pull stuff out.
So my daughter was on the passenger side, pulling stuff out.
I was on the back end.
She comes around.
Now, my buddy who was with me, he has a daughter that's about her age,
and she's a little troublemaker.
You know, she's, you know what I mean?
She likes the fib and stuff like that.
So, and they used to be friends.
So I'm like, so that'll come to play with your insight.
So my daughter comes around almost crying.
She's like, dad, something growled at me.
I'm like, stop.
You're just, I'm like, stop.
No, we're not doing this.
Stop, all right.
So like, no, don't know, just take that to your mom.
All right.
Like, I wouldn't have it.
So then I go on the passenger side and I'm reaching up to grab something and then I hear it.
And I was like, whew.
So I take it.
I hand it to my wife and I tell my wife, I'm like, hey, I just heard something.
Now, we've heard, we've had to grow up with us while we've hiked before.
So, like, we're not new to it.
Me and my oldest also, we had, we had like a pine cone thrown at us.
I would say, oh, it came out of tree, but it didn't like,
just bounce and follow in, you know.
So we've had stuff happen.
My wife has experienced it before, so she's, when I told her, hey,
Lo, dude, something just growled, and she said, what?
He's like, what do you want to do?
And I'm like, I don't know.
Let's just see.
So a little earlier that night, there was a white F-350, F-250 maybe, early 2000s model in a spot
that was to the left of the good spot.
And so we'd heard the growl a couple of times.
And like I told my buddy, I'm like, agent, do you hear this?
And him and his son came over and they're listening.
And his son said he heard it, but him and his daughter were like, oh, no, no, no, I don't hear anything.
I don't hear anything.
And so I was like, let me see if that truck's still here.
So I walk around and go see if the truck was there.
And now this is in a completely different spot.
Like, because the spot goes around.
And I was right on the other side of the loop.
And I heard it for the left.
I'm like, oh, crap.
So because of the whole telepathy thing or whatnot, I'm like, okay, well, maybe if I just talk to it, you know, in my heart and in my mind like, hey, look, when I heard it caused any problems, you know, we're not, we don't mean any harm or anything like that.
I think something, somebody was there was pissing it off because there was like some spent shell casings and some beer bottles and stuff like that.
So I think something to piss it off.
I was like, look, we're not here to cause any problems.
We're just trying to get out with their families, please, you know.
So that truck was going.
So I'm like, okay, so it's not them.
It's not, I don't know.
Because once you come into this camp spot, camp site, you can't, there's not another road.
It's just the one in, one half.
So they're not like parked somewhere else, like, you know, messing with us.
So I walked the, I walked the whole thing, came back, and we're like, what are we going to do?
And so we stopped setting up.
I told my wife, if you start putting stuff away, I think we're going to, we're going to dip.
So my buddy's like, well, let's go see.
what we can find out. So in the nice camp spot, there's, you walk down and there's just little
clearings just throughout, just little clearings, nothing too crazy. Like, my kids will go out there and play
soccer or something like that. Like, don't, you know, it's just a nice little clearing. So where
the growl was coming from was to the right of my car. And there's like a bunch of trees and stuff
like that, like bushes, like, and then there's like a little walkway to the clearing. It's not
like wide open. There's a little walkway you got to walk down and then you get to clearing.
So that's where we were hearing the ground from.
So I'm shining my light.
I don't see anything.
I think Till Thomason says something similar, like, you know, it's like, you shine a light and you don't see anything.
So I'm like, I can't see anything into my buddy.
Again, crashes they are, and we walk into this clearing to see if we can find something, like, see if we can see anything.
So him and I walk into this clearing and he's shining his light up on the, so after the clear, the hill goes up.
up, you know, and he's shining, we're shining lights up there. We're looking where we heard it.
We can't see anything. Now, some people say, oh, Mountain Lion or Bobcat, the only thing was,
we saw a little rabbit hopping its way towards the campsite towards the spot where the girl came from
originally. So, I don't know about that. But we're shining it up and you can hear something walking
and you hear rocks kind of falling.
And then you hear tree breaks.
And once it's shining in his life, we can't see anything.
So I'm like, look, dude, I don't know, bro.
Like, you want to stay, that's cool.
But me and my family were dipping.
So we ended up packing up and camping in another spot.
So about a month later, it was on like Mother's Day of 2025.
Because I asked my wife, what do you want to do for Mother Day?
And she's like, I'm going to go day camp.
Well, she wanted to camp, but we can't think there's a lot of work, especially with kids.
You got to, like, free plant.
and everything for like a week or two in advance.
So I'm like, all right, you know, let's just,
let's just do a day camp at that spot.
Because I really wanted to go back and see if we could find anything.
So we go back there.
We couldn't get the good spot because there was somebody already there,
so we were a spot right next to it.
And, you know, we kind of start grilling, whatever,
we start making s'mores, whatever.
We're doing our thing.
We start walking around the creek and whatnot.
And I found some footprints, took some pictures,
pictures. I'm like, because I just, I don't know, you know. Um, they weren't like, because
one of the best prints that I'd ever seen that I took Pithra of, it was about the same size
than mine, but it was like twice as wide. So a lot of these footprints, they may be a little
bit longer than mine, but they didn't look much wider. So I didn't know what to make of it.
But then my son finds a nail. And it's, so I actually have it with me. So I, I
look at it now, I'm a handyman by trade. So I work with hand tools, power tools, on a fairly
regular basis. So my son, he has been thinking I'm looking at it, I'm analyzing it, and I don't
see teeth marks from the channel loft or any type of tool. And I'm like, this is pretty interesting,
so I kept it. All right, quick quiz for the hiring managers out there. What's worse? Being understaffed

So this is that nail.
It's not like a regular nail.
This is pretty massive.
You know, so we find that nail and I'm just like, wow, that's pretty cool.
we haven't been back to that spot since
but it's uh
yeah it's
definitely solidified the topic for me you know for sure
man
yeah you have been experiencing some really interesting things
that nail
uh
is that some
I mean that looked like it is a pretty tough nail
in order to bend it like that
what do you think in
I agree because, like, it's, I mean, it's pretty thick, you know what I mean?
And like I said, it's, I don't see any, like, tool marks or teeth marks or anything.
I mean, there's some buildup up here, like, from rust, and it's rust, there's rust on it,
so it's obviously been sitting out there for a bit, you know.
So, yeah, I, a little perplexed, but it's, I don't know, I think I know what it is, but I, you know, they say around, I guess.
Right.
You mentioned finding footprints a few times in this area.
How, how long or what were dimensions on those?
I didn't have a tape measure with me.
A lot of them, like when I take pictures of footprints, I'll usually just put mine right next to it.
Because when I'm hiking or something, I don't keep a tape measure on me.
But like I'm a size 8 to 9 depending on the size of the boot.
Some of them are, you know, a few sizes bigger than mine.
But the print I found in Pine Valley is probably the best because you can see like the toes, like where they curl
So there's like a little clump of mud where it was grabbing.
And you could see.
So the, um, what's it called?
The, uh, the mid-tarchal breaks.
You can kind of see that and see the heel.
And it, it, but it was twice as wide as my foot, barefoot.
It was twice as wide as mine.
Um, and there was also like a little branch there that I'd seen.
It was like, it looked like it was twisted, like the way it was broken off.
And it's funny because like, I copied a bunch of stuff
like my face so i have a private album on facebook where i save all this stuff and like the picture
the three that was down in the creepy spot it's a big one i took a picture of that couldn't find it
i also took a picture of um the the structure after it had been torn up couldn't find that one so it's
pictures are hitting miss but i said a lot of them up aside in an album for this interview but like
i said i end up having just my phone so um but it's
It's like, yeah, I don't know.
I don't take tape measure with me, but it's, yeah, they're, I'm a small guy, so anything bigger to mine, I guess.
Oh, I probably just started.
I got a little backjack.
So, but next to that branch, it looked like there was another footprint, but I don't know.
Okay.
The creepy spot is titled that because it's a thing where,
If you got a good campsite, sometimes you don't want to overrun, and I totally get that too.
But question for you, since you know where the spot is, have you ever looked that up in certain areas or certain places online to see if there's been other encounters that have happened in that same area?
So I haven't looked it up per se, but Tom Bennett, he runs the Southern Utah.
Bigfoot Association. I talked to him about it. And I ended up going back on his YouTube channel
and like actually finding these, but he had a couple reports of, I don't remember if like one was
a footprint. And then I think one was a, like I think it was like a how and then like I guess
some people being chased out of the area. I don't, I don't remember the exact details of it.
But he had said that he got reports of stuff in that area because I told him generally about
where it was. Interesting.
You'd mentioned telepathy really quickly.
Is that something where you have had interactions with that earlier, or how did you know about that at that time?
Well, once I got into the big foot topic, I just threw myself into like documentaries and like just listening to encounters and stuff like.
I prefer to listen to the encounters and stuff like that because a lot of pictures and videos like they can be.
you know, like I'm very, you know, critical, especially with my own stuff, you know.
I mean, there's, at all the footprints I have pictures of, there's only one that, you know,
I'm even 100% convinced this is not human, but a lot of it was documentaries and things like that.
You know, you hear encounters or whatever, and it's, it sounds like a thing because
we're so distracted by technology and just noise around us and things like that that it's easy to,
you know, like cloud.
that spot of our mind where anything like that would be possible.
Like, I mean, anybody who's married should be able to see, you know, you look at your wife and you
can read her mind, you know, there's something there, you know, but like I feel like it's something
that is, could absolutely be possible, especially if you're, you know, something that's, you know,
not, you know, doesn't dwell on civilization and doesn't, you know, involve itself in such
things.
and I mean, there's talk about extraterrestrials and Bigfoot.
And sure, that could, you know, when nothing is certain to anything is possible,
I mean, it's you got something that's a hominid or you got,
you got something that is a species of something that is out in the wilderness that can't call
the 5 o'clock news and be like, I got a nothing, you know.
So it's, it's possible that, you know,
extra-christ people, I'm sure, maybe they're abducting them, doing research on them.
Maybe they're created via that way.
I don't know.
But I'm open to almost every aspect of it.
So it's like, so again, going back to the telepathy thing, it's like, sure, I could, I could see it.
Gotcha.
So this sounds like, is this a thing where you're also trying to, well, let me, let me say it,
this. So I find talking to individuals that usually there's one of two camps where there's either an individual where they are just outdoors and they have had experiences. Or there's individuals where they have had experiences and then they are trying to have more experiences. And so they're very much into it. What would you put yourself into
to either one of those camps?
Um,
because of like the day-to-day stuff,
like I, I'm not out looking for it.
Um, like I said, we, we like to hike.
We like to camp.
And it's just stuff just like happens to us.
And it's not every single time, you know.
Um, but it's, I'm,
I definitely look forward to something happening.
Um, but I'm not like, you know,
you know, out looking for it.
Like I said, I mean, if I go to a spot, I definitely look for stuff.
Like, hey, is there a structure here?
Is there a footprint?
Whatever.
Like, I'll look at that, but I'm not like, oh, boy, I hope I have an encounter.
But if it does, it does.
I mean, you can't, like, force these things on it because I've seen documentaries
where people have said that, you know, oh, if you're out looking for it,
like they know we're there before, you know, we get there.
Like, they can hear our trucks.
They can hear humans are just loud creatures.
you know, we make a lot of noise, you know, we're, so they know we're there before we even get there.
So it'll be like, oh, I'm going to go out to this campsite and I'm going to do this and do that.
I mean, I'm not saying it doesn't work.
You know, I mean, I've seen, you know, videos and documentaries work does.
But there's also times where, you know, like on the Discovery Channel where they're like, oh, you know, we're going to catch, you know, blockness.
And then they go out and they don't find anything.
You know, it's sometimes you do, sometimes you don't.
But, so I'm not out in looking for it because.
it's it's they know we're there before we get dirt.
I mean, if they want to make themselves known, let them.
If not, it's okay.
You know, because like all the other encounters I've usually had,
it's just been like footsteps, you know, tree breaks, little things like that.
Nothing creepy, nothing malicious.
But the last one is just like that made us uncomfortable.
You know, and that was like, okay, that was our first like encounter that kind of put us
into fear.
And another funny thing about that is my buddy that was with me is shortly after that,
he ended up admitting that he heard not only growls but grunts.
I didn't hear grunts.
He said he did.
But we're not out there looking for it because it's like they know we're there.
You know, it's like I'm not, I'm not going to,
we're going on a hike.
That's one thing, but I'm not going to hike out five,
10 miles to try and find something with my family and then come back to camp.
And it's just, you know, set up for camping general is a lot of work.
No, absolutely.
It is, it's a lot of work.
It's worth it.
But yeah, I agree with you.
It's a lot of work.
I'm looking at the map on this area and it looks like, well, I don't know exactly how far away it is, but this is in the same region as Zion National Park, right?
Kind of, yeah.
Zion is more east.
Yeah, yeah.
Zion is to the east a little bit more, but Zion is still like southern Utah.
Yeah, me and my family, we've been out here for a few years and still haven't really gone to Zion.
And it's too crowded for us.
We like to, so that's why we don't like camp, you know, a lot of sanctioned campsites and, you know, high trails at Zion because it costs money, you know.
I mean, times are tough.
And there's just so many beautiful places to see that are closer to home that you don't have to pay for.
But yeah, it's a little wet design.
I bring that up because I know that there's also Bigfoot accounts or at least Kansas.
of fire stories from that area to where it was called more Wild Man of Zion, I believe,
and that goes back almost 100 years. So there's, you know, not just the area you've been bringing up,
which is west of 15, right?
More or less.
Yeah.
But east of 15, if you want to say that highway is your divider.
It sounds like there could be stuff going on over there.
But who knows?
It would be interesting if people reach out if they've heard stuff in your Cedar area or the Zion National Park as well.
Yeah, there's talk about, I guess there's like a migratory thing.
I don't know exactly what it's called.
There's like a, I think it's a Navajo Reservation, but there's, it might be a Paiute,
But there's a reservation and there's talk of like it's a big for migratory path that comes down from like this reservation area and they go down to I don't possibly like like Ayrtona. I don't know. But there's like a, you know, like they migrate down. So I don't know. It's in the area. So perhaps.
Yeah, it's it's really interesting. I mean, that whole area down there, I mean, you've got.
I've taken stuff from around Grand Canyon and then just a ton of stuff, even though it's the other side of Utah, but it's also in the south.
You got the Navajo Nation area, just so many reports of Bigfoot over there.
So it's good to hear from the other side of Utah.
I think you are the first individual I've talked to about southwest Utah, which is pretty cool.
so good to have some representation of this area for sure
Casey it has been a very interesting time chatting with you
I want to make sure that you were able to share everything that you came on the show to share today
I think I did awesome
So, we can take this out just because how many years ago did it happen again when your child had the sighting of something outside the tenant?
That was August 29th of 2020, so about six years ago.
Okay, six years ago.
Okay, gotcha.
have you talked to and I bring this up just because I have a very similar situation in
in my life where my kid we were out a few years ago and he he thought he saw something
and when you talk to him today about it you get different you get details you know as you
have a conversation with someone as they get older right because they know how to say things
differently. Have you had a conversation with your child in years after that, that incident about it?
Not necessarily. I've sat him down and been like, hey, so look, man, we've got to talk about this,
but anytime the topic of like Bigfoot or anything comes up, he brings up, oh, yeah, like that time that
I saw the shadow, he still called the shadow, but I'm like, dude, a silhouette, but. All right, quick quiz for the

But he still brings it up and he gets like, oh, do like that one time, you know.
So he does bring it up, but I haven't had some, like, details per se.
I mean, and it's hard to tell with a silhouette, you know what I mean?
because it's, it's, it had, the light was coming from the moon.
It's like, we didn't have lanterns sitting outside behind my tent.
We didn't have, like I said, we couldn't have a fire going.
So it's not like, and the fire was like where my head was, you know, not like where I was facing, but where my head was.
So it's like, it's not like the, the light came from my, like, anything that we had because, you know, and again, the tree line was like 60 feet away from us.
So it is, but there was nobody else camped back there because you can't really drive up that way.
because the road kind of like like i mean if you got something pretty heavy duty but again we
were kind of blocking it so you couldn't really drive up there so it's not like there was somebody
else can't there plus we wouldn't know so i mean with the moonlight it maybe made it look shorter you know i
just but he still does bring it up that's really that's really interesting um based on what you've
experienced and i mean what you've heard about the area uh do you have any thoughts about i would
say some people in certain areas of the U.S. view Bigfoot in different ways.
Do you view it in a certain way in your area?
As in like what it is as a species or?
Yeah, yeah.
Some people think it might be a undiscovered ape or a relative of humans that we don't know about.
Well, so I'm not a biologist.
I didn't go to college for or anything like that.
But I like to learn as much as I can about as much as I can.
So from what I've picked up, you know, from my Google Wikipedia research, at one point,
there was at least 13 hominid species like on the planet at the same time.
Now, again, don't quote me on that.
And so, you know, they say that the reasons that human surviving the others didn't
is because we adapted all of the, like,
DNA or the certain things that helped us survive.
We can handle certain weather better than the Neanderthals could, but the Neanderthals
were better at something else.
And there was also like inner breeding and stuff like that.
So, you know, I guess that's how we survive.
And to say that another one didn't, just, I don't know, I feel like something could, it
could be one to survive.
could it be something that, you know, aliens to humans or an ape and like, we're doing, you know, work on it and created Bidfoot and brought it down?
I don't know. It's the fact that I've heard stories of people saying, oh, they shot at them and, oh, there was blood.
And it's, but there's some, you know, with the whole, you know, cloaking aspect that, I mean, maybe there's different species.
I mean, because when you ask people about the encounters, they look different.
You know, some of them are shorter, some of them are taller, some of them are bigger, some of them are skinny.
So there's probably multiple different species.
Maybe there's one that is an interdimensional being.
Maybe, you know, because of extraterrestrials, maybe there's some bigfoot that can do that.
Because they've been in contact with extraterraceals, so now this bigfoot can cloak or teleport, whatever the case may be.
I'm not putting any of that out of the question, because, like I said, when nothing,
certain anything's possible.
You know, so I do lead more towards the like hominated, like it's a flesh thing, but
is it possible that some have the ability to do certain things?
Absolutely.
It really is interest.
It's always an interesting conversation when you bring that question up because
there are so, so many different ways to look at it.
And I mean, this might be the year where we get more info.
You never know.
who knows what is coming down the pipeline with information.
I'll leave it at that.
But Casey, thank you so much for coming on the show.
I appreciate you sharing what you've experienced over the years.
And listeners, if you know more about things that are happening in southwest Utah,
I'd love to hear about it.
You can always leave a comment or send me an email at Bigfoot Society at gmail.com.
but thank you so much for coming on today, Casey.
Thanks for putting up on me.
Have you ever heard all the accounts of Bigfoot activity around Oak Ridge, Oregon,
and you think to yourself, man, I would love to get out in those woods and experience it for myself.
Well, guess what?
This year, you can.
If this is interesting to you, stay tuned because it's pretty cool.

I hope to see you at the booth in Oak Ridge this year.
We can talk about your encounter.
I was able to talk to so many people last year and the year before.
It is an incredible time.
You're not going to want to miss it.
And I'll see you there.
Before we wrap this episode,
I want to say something directly to a very specific group of listeners.
If you're in the military, any branch, or forces, and if you've seen something that no one can explain,
or if you're a national park ranger or forestry worker who's been told to stay quiet,
if you're a pilot who's seen something strange down on the ground,
or if you're with the FBI, a federal agency, or working intelligence,
and you've stumbled upon something you're not allowed to talk about,
and if you're a firefighter, paramedic, or search-and-rescue responder,
who's heard screams or found tracks that didn't make sense.
If you're in the logging industry on a remote oil field or trucker with government contracts,
and you've had something happen that you've never told a soul,
and if you're a biologist, a wildlife specialist, or a field researcher under contract,
who has found evidence you're not allowed to report,
if you're a pastor, a missionary, or someone on a spiritual retreat,
and you saw something that shook your faith,
or if you work in the shadows, CIA, NSA, or anything with clearance,
and you've seen what the public hasn't,
then I want to talk to you.
