Starting point is 00:02:31 We were camping in Petrolia, and I was laying in a tent, and the kids were kind of behind me up the mountain. They had walked up, and they were exploring up in the mountain. And he was a tribal leader, so he was able to take the other kids up out past midnight. And all of a sudden I saw all the flashlights bouncing, and a couple of them flew down the hill, and the kids were screaming and yelling, and they came down. And I met them into the kitchen. And we were on a survival learning, teaching the kids survival skills, that type of thing.
Starting point is 00:03:02 And so they went into this building that had the kitchen in it. And they were just like panting and just like they were just terrified. They were terrified. And we've seen bears before because we live in California. So they know what bears look like. We have them in town here, you know. But my nephew said that there was, there was something standing there. It looked like a gorilla.
Starting point is 00:03:24 He said it looked like a gorilla. but he thought it was about maybe two feet taller than him, and he's about 5-10, so it didn't sound like it was that big. And there was another one behind it that was smaller. And he saw the teeth, and they were both just standing there, and they were shot from the flashlights, and the kids kind of flew the flashlights down, and one rolled down the side of the hill, and I saw the lights bouncing, and they were screaming. And so I did it, but I believe my nephew, you know.
Starting point is 00:03:50 And then his father, his father up in northern Michigan, who's my brother, was camping up in northern Michigan, and he saw something like that also, and he knows what bears look like. He knows what, no, he saw something off in the distance, and it looked at him, and he said it was like, I don't know how to say how many feet away it was, but he said it was about three houses away, so I don't know how, oh, houses, how big is a house, I don't know. But he said he could smell something. It smelled terrible, almost like, death like when somebody was dying, you know, the, or I don't know, I'm sorry, I'm nervous.
Starting point is 00:04:31 I'm not used to being on a thing here. Oh, no, you're great. But as he said is he remembers the smell that it smelled like death. So he just booked it and went the other way, but the things weren't aggressive towards my nephews and he was the tribal leader and the kids. They just kind of, they were hunched over when the light shone on them. They stood up. So it kind of was like, hey, we're here.
Starting point is 00:04:56 He kind of felt like it was threatening, but they didn't move towards him, but just standing up and taking that stance, both of them. And he said there was a smaller one behind him that was about his size. And I've never heard of that before of a smaller one and a bigger one being together. And I'm not making this up. I'm a 63-year-old teacher. You know, we were just camping up in the mountains, you know what I'm saying? So, you know, I mean, I don't know how helpful that I'm not.
Starting point is 00:05:22 is because I don't have pictures and you know but no it's it's very helpful and I mean so it's a new area in California I hadn't heard about but I mean Humboldt County is is incredibly known for sightings oh it was I lived in the redwoods and I've never seen one myself but I've seen the faces of friends and people that I lived in the cabin with when they saw one there's so many stories out in Humbold. You know, I lived a couple hours up into the mountain where, you know, you had to go up a dirt road for maybe an hour and 45 minutes just to get to where we lived, so we were really remote. We lived off the grid. My sister had somehow hooked up something to the stream so it would charge the battery and the house plugged into a battery. So we were
Starting point is 00:06:09 living off the grid for a couple of years. And there were a lot of sightings out there, but I never saw one myself. So I can't tell you for sure. sure that they were bigfoot's, but I trust the people that told me they saw them, you know. So I don't know. I don't know if that helps you at all. It does. Isn't it wild when you're able to talk to someone face-to-face that has had an actual sighting and just the look that they have, you just cannot, that's not something that you
Starting point is 00:06:43 can act, you know, it's. It's fairer. It is. And we all know what bears look like because bears are walking. We live in, well, I don't, I shouldn't say where I live. Well, I guess it's okay. But there are bears in our town. We see bears and mountain lions and they wander into town sometimes from the redwood trees.
Starting point is 00:07:01 So we know what bears look like, even when they stand up. And these were not bears. He said they had a face. They had shoulders. When my nephew saw the two that were together, one of his hands was on the redwood tree. And he said they were like, the hand was huge. almost as big as his whole the big foot heat which he called the big foot almost as big as his whole face they had this huge hand and almost looked distorted because it was too big now that sounds odd to me
Starting point is 00:07:29 but it was midnight so maybe the light shining on it made it look that way so yeah i don't know have you seen one yourself uh you know i i haven't yet i've had a few weird things happen. I've gone out in Iowa to an area. I live out there and had some trees get pushed over. I heard some wood knocks. I heard whooping from my tent at 3 a.m. Two different years.
Starting point is 00:08:06 And then out in Oregon, I went to the Willamette National Forest. And we were way out in the woods, like 30 miles out. and something roared and screamed at us from the woods, and that was wild. If I had been there the day before, then I would have been out there earlier, and there was a sighting in the same meadow that we were at by another group. They saw one jump out of a pine tree and then run up.
Starting point is 00:08:44 run out of the meadow and into the woods. So I went over to that area and we saw we found some of footprints about 15 to 17 inch footprints. It's crazy. Yeah, so I've experienced some weird stuff, but the visual hasn't happened yet, but I'm sure if I keep on going the way I am, I'll probably experience something eventually. So, well, after that, we all decide to stay. stay in the tent and we went into this kind of like cabin that was a kitchen and we all the we just huddled all the kids in there and we all slip on the floor and sleeping bags because we didn't know what it was you know i don't know i guess that's not a very good story because i didn't get to see it myself but it is it's a good story because it adds another area for people
Starting point is 00:09:35 to be aware of so i'm glad you came up thank you for coming up and sharing uh what you know and uh i appreciate it thank you oh okay here she here we go Hi there, thanks for coming up. Hi there. Sorry, I want to make sure I pronounce your name correctly. Oh, it's Alali Nalka. That's mainly my handle. I'm from the Navajo Nation.
Starting point is 00:10:15 My name is Don. So I work with... Awesome. Yeah, I work with Jevening Research. Yeah, I am a Sasquatch researcher as well from the Navajo Nation. And, you know, I've been tracking him for probably over nine years, under nine years. And, yeah, he travels all across the four corners. And, you know, they live off the livestock, scared crap out of people.
Starting point is 00:10:52 try to take people, chase kids all night. You know, just the horrible, scary stories. It's a, it gets pretty creepy. My story starts in 2008. Went to hiking with some family, the seven of us. Around 12, 12 o'clock at night. It was in the summertime. So we were hiking probably three, four miles out of the community of Health Cheesa, Utah,
Starting point is 00:11:31 by Monument Valley, Utah, and Mexican Hat, Utah, earlier. So, yeah, that's the 30 minutes of our hike. We heard vocalizations, you know, and we looked over, shine. We had a bright flashlight, so we see in the red hills, and we see the huge, huge eye. going back and it was a it was amber color and it was all family and I told him hey he wants to let's go check this out it's probably a Skin Walker I say it's probably just an old man or old lady you know just doing their hookus-hookus you know let's go check it out everyone was just quiet and staring at this eye
Starting point is 00:12:18 these eyes and I was all right now I guess they'll go by myself. You guys want to see something that you guys aren't bravo to follow me. So I started walking up and getting closer. So it's like 80 yards out, 80, 60 yards from 80 to 60. It was pacing back and forth. And from 60 to 40, it stopped pasting. And it was on two feet. So Cougars ruled out. It's then facing me square. So it's a lot of red hills, red dirt everywhere. Then I got like at least 30 yards, 30 more yards.
Starting point is 00:13:05 And I realized that it had red hair. And red hair matched with the dirt. And it started swinging back and forth. It was like five feet wide, wider than a plywood. with a dome head and what really stopped me was it did a really grow uh ungodly growl really really uh a grill that I'll never forget that will make me stop in my track you know I'm six foot so I'm not afraid of many things that on you know I'm not afraid of many things so it made me stop and it started swaying back and
Starting point is 00:13:48 forth and I think you were shaking it to the head while it was making it strange noise. You can find that on the Sierra Sands. If you do research on that, one of the sounds on there really makes
Starting point is 00:14:04 it made that sound. This was before I've discovered Sierra sounds. This is 2008 before any of this got popular, you know? And I stopped when it was slain, it was making noise and
Starting point is 00:14:18 And it backed up and the eyes was, you know, bigger than softball. It was really huge. It backed away and, you know, I returned back to my family. And they're asking me, what was it? I told them I lied, you know, I said, it's a bobcat. Let's keep going. So we continue on their hike, you know, down the wash. And this thing was stalking, stocking us.
Starting point is 00:14:46 And I didn't tell my family at the time. They were from Nevada, so they're off the reservation. So they got in the town and they wanted to hike. And this is my backyard, so I can't be afraid, you know. And I don't know what's around. Just wild donkeys are the main concern. So, most docking us for three hours. And, you know, we got closer to the community.
Starting point is 00:15:14 and the smallest family member, he was short. He was like 5, 5, 5. Maybe like 120 pounds. You know, he's really thin. So he got ahead of us, and he went around the corner of this big hill. And I seen him, I looked down to check my footing. It was no moon. There was no stars.
Starting point is 00:15:37 It was pitch black night. And I looked up, and I seen him flying. towards me, you know, with big old eyes and his mouth was wide open and his hands was wide open, like he's going to give me a huge hug. And he tackled me. And, you know, I told him, what did you see? What did you see? Tell me.
Starting point is 00:15:57 And, you know, he was saying, Navajo. He said, yeah, I'll glocky. That means Skinwalker. So I was telling them, I was like, yeah, I know what you, I know. But what did you see? I need you to tell me, you know. And he finally said it was a red ring. a tank running towards him on all fours.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Yeah, on all four, and I was trying to grab them. And as soon as he said that, I started running on that road where he came. And a cousin of mine, you're behind me. He joined me. I was 18, 17 at the time. And we ran, we hit that corner, probably 20 yards. We ran into a wall of stink. Bigfoot Society will be right back after these messages.

You know, you never believe the smell of this thing. So, yeah, it ran up a heel.
Starting point is 00:19:12 They heal very, oh man, I need to go back and get a video of this, the heel I'm talking about. It's impossible for us humans to climb up, even on all fours, very steep, steep heel. So, yeah, so that was my first time encountering it. But, you know, raised on the Navajo Nation, you know, I've seen huge black carry arms, you know, reaching through the window and seeing what everyone calls as a dog, man. Wow, Don. So if you're a researcher in that area,
Starting point is 00:19:48 do a lot of people report seeing something that looks like an orangutan? When they see it. Yeah, ring and tang or different colors. White, white hair, black hair, buckskin, blonde. The biggest track I've seen was over 23 inches. So the height on that is over 12 foot tall. Yeah. The red ones seem to be at nine feet.
Starting point is 00:20:22 But there's bigger one than the Sasquatch. there's different ones. They look a little different than each other, different feet, different toes. And they really like their privacy. Gotcha. Are there any that have only four toes instead of five toes? Yeah, yeah, three toes as well.
Starting point is 00:20:49 Okay. I've talked to individuals up in the Pacific Northwest or Prince of Wales Island in Alaska, they say that the foretoed individuals can cause a lot of issues. Have you found that down where you're at as well? Don't matter to the toes. Okay. Yeah. They just, they like to drink blood.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Oh. Okay. Yeah, we got them filming a documentary. this past earlier this month. It'll be on Tubi next year. Okay. It's a documentary of us roaming around the Chuskas in Fort Defiance Plateau area. So it's going to be a really good documentary.
Starting point is 00:21:41 It's just going to be me on the fly, you know, going to people picking pinion to people at the swamint, asking for witnesses stories, and we go check out places, and we found a lot of evidence of Sasquots living on Navajo Nation, you know, I don't want to give too much away. Yeah. Absolutely. Do you have a name for it yet so we can keep an eye out for it? So far, my team is called Jevinning Research. So we worked with Bigfoot researcher.
Starting point is 00:22:17 That's been doing this for 50 years, 40 years now. So he has... Oh, William Chaffin. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure. Yeah, he's good. Yeah, I've been working with me for the past four years. He has a film out on Tubey right now called Oregon Bigfoot Evidence. It's really good. I've seen that. Yeah, the second one, it's going to be in Texas. That was going to drop next year. Then the third one is the Navajo Bigfoot. So far, that's what the producer told me.
Starting point is 00:22:53 the name of the film. Cool. If you go on our podcast, it's a Creek Devil. Creek Devil. You'll see some of our stories from the Navajo Nation on the pretty scary stories. Okay. Yeah, we'll definitely check that out. I know he's a good dude. I've heard a lot of good about him. And I've watched that documentary about Oregon Bigfoot as well. But yeah, Don, thank you for coming up. And we'll definitely keep an eye out for that.
Starting point is 00:23:23 Oh yeah. Thank you. Appreciate talking to a meeting with you. Absolutely. You have a good one, man. You as well. Thank you. God bless. Good stuff. Good stuff. This is a good night. Lynn, I had a sighting south of Murphysboro, Illinois, Oakwood Bottoms National Preserve, also heard Knox. I'm going to see if Lynn is a... Feel free to send me an email. I'd love to hear your story either way. Are you going to be near Wisconsin or Tennessee? Right now, it's Oregon, Oklahoma, and probably the Nebraska Bigfoot Conference in April.
Starting point is 00:24:05 I don't have any plans for Wisconsin or Tennessee. Not this year. Here we go. Hey, Middle. How's it going? Can you hear me? I can. You sound great.
Starting point is 00:24:17 Thanks for coming up. Feel free to share what happened on that road trip out in Oregon. Okay. Okay, so I was looking for a house to buy out here on the coast in southern Oregon. And my friend had come with me. We came out and we looked at a few places. And on our way back to Boise, we drove through all these really lonely highways, like 126, 140. I don't remember exactly which one, but we didn't see anything.
Starting point is 00:24:56 And about three in the morning, and not that we were looking, we weren't, but we were traveling through, of all places, the southern desert of Oregon. We were about, I want to say, we were between, I'm trying to think of the name of that place, Burns, Oregon and Vail. And it was about 3.15, maybe 3.30 in the morning. And I had driven this way so many times, never at this time of night. It was just the two of us. And we come around a corner on Highway 20. There's nothing out there. There's maybe some ranches scattered here and there, all cattle ranches. So we come around a corner and there's a fence. And it was just the weirdest experience. We came to almost like a stop, I think, because we both, my headlights in my car picked up this thing. I don't need, we don't know what it was, but there's a fence, a cattle fence about, I'd say, four feet, maybe four and a half feet high. And there's this thing, and it's bent over. it's on the other side of the fence and we're on the road and I would say we're probably about maybe five to six feet away from whatever it was because the road went right up next to the fence
Starting point is 00:26:32 and on the other side it's all just open range sagebrush I think the Mallier River was right there and whatever this was it was bent over on the other side and it was shredding something and we're watching these weird long arms were undulating in this really unnatural way ripping something and we're seeing what looks like fur and chunks of flesh just flying from whatever the headlights could pick up and we had kind of come to a stop and we both at the same time said what the beep is that and we're just watching it for a minute and I'm trying like my mind is rollodexing through things it could be and I'm like no it's not that's not that and what the headlight what I saw through the headlights was um it had kind of like grayish
Starting point is 00:27:31 looking like elephant skin is what I would describe it and long kind of sparse hair not super thick and this thing was skinny from what I could tell we both agreed what we were seeing afterwards when we talked about it and it was just ripping something apart and we're just staring at it because we can't figure out what in the heck we're seeing and then it turns its head and it looks at us and these eyes are like the size of golf balls and they weren't super far apart but they weren't close together. And it just is staring at us while, and it does not stop what it's doing.
Starting point is 00:28:22 And I finally said, just drive, drive, drive, drive. And we drove really fast. We didn't feel safe until we were almost all the way to veil Oregon. And it just was an eerie, I mean, I don't know what else it could have been. I don't know what it was. I mean, for a person witnessing them doing something, that's one of the most intense ones I've heard. So you were able to actually see the face for a bit? Well, we couldn't actually see a face or any facial features, but these eyes.
Starting point is 00:29:01 I mean, and they look, I don't know if it was the headlights reflecting on them. I don't remember my headlights making it up that high on the face, but the eyes were. were lit up like a yellowy white color. And it didn't blink. It just, it was, I don't even know it was crazy. It was the weirdest thing and we, I don't know what else it could have possibly been, but something like that. And I, I don't know, I feel kind of crazy. I've never told anyone we, you know, because I told my family,
Starting point is 00:29:42 my sister and she like laughed at. I'm like, no, I, yeah, I don't know. It was so insane. What's the year on that again, approximately? It was right about 2019, right before the shutter down. Yeah. Okay. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:30:06 That's, I don't get too many sightings from the desert part of Oregon. So that is very cool. So you said between burns and veil. Yeah. That's very interesting. I'll keep that in mind. Did you get to see a shape to its head at all? Maybe just a little tiny bit of whatever light picked up.
Starting point is 00:30:33 It didn't have like that cone head that people say that it had. It just kind of had a, it was skinny. like lanky. And as far as I could tell, it just almost had like a thimble shaped head, like a sewing symbol. If I had to say something, it was that's all that I could kind of see the shape. And it, I don't even know how long we sat there and looked because it's when they, people say time stands still when you're kind of experiencing something that you don't understand
Starting point is 00:31:12 and you can't grasp what it is, I don't even know how long we, I mean, it wasn't that long, but it just, I still, we still don't know. We both agree that that's the only thing that it could have possibly been. I appreciate you coming up and sharing what you experienced. Do you mind, if you get a minute after this, if you could send me an email just in case I have any follow-up questions for you later. Yep. And I live in Oregon now, and I have heard other strange things out here. I haven't seen anything else, but yeah, I will definitely chill out for a while. That's awesome. And yeah, if you ended up living out by the coast, I mean, the coast has a ton of activities, but I don't know where you ended up.
Starting point is 00:32:12 But I mean, anywhere in that state really has stuff going on. I'm very close to the Northern California border. Oh, you're so in that you don't even know. You, well, you probably do know that if you're by grants pass or Applegate, that whole area down there is absolutely insane with sightings that I've gotten personally. I mean, everyone has seen stuff down there. So, yeah, please keep in touch. I would love to follow up if needed.

Thanks for coming up. How's going?
Starting point is 00:35:23 Hey, good. Well, feel free to share what you've experienced down there in Alabama, sir. So I'm in the Midwest region of Alabama at this part in time. I grew up on a very, very like outdoorsy family. I've always hunted and fished my whole lifetime. You know, I have the older brother that's always tried to scare me about, you know, watch out, you know, for things in the woods. woods you know once the once the moon actually sets up in the woods you know it's
Starting point is 00:35:58 always been you don't you don't you stay out of the woods so I've always had a good fear I've respected the woods at night well it was about when I was I say it was probably when I was 12 12 or 13 it was back in 2012 or I say at 2011 I was up I was it in Alabama this time and I I had my best friend with me. And we used to always go out with our Red Rider BB guns. And we used to, you know, shoot Tweety Birds and Squirrels. You know, same old things we did.
Starting point is 00:36:35 Well, we've always joked around and seeing Bigfoot. You know, it's always been like, that's always been our passion is to see Bigfoot. You know, you might hear a bobcat once in a while, and it might make your hair stand up on the back of your neck because it sounds like a woman screaming in the woods. Well, this particular day, we went out and we killed a couple of squirrels, you know, and we were on this long power line. And when I say power line, it's power lines that run straight up on two sides of woodline,
Starting point is 00:37:08 and it's probably about 300 foot from one side of the woodline to the next. And it goes up a giant hill, and then it will go back down. And usually on the bottoms, it's nothing but swamp. But me and my buddy at the time, we would use that. to cut through our trails and everything. Well, one afternoon we had seen it was getting darker, so we started heading back and we cut, we were like, hey, we're going to cut through the power line.
Starting point is 00:37:34 So we cut through the power line. And at that time, we had heard something. And, you know, it's just like, you know, we're like, it might just be a bobcat, you know, it might be somebody in the woods. But in the region we are, no one's around us. It's just us. And so we continue walking, you know, 11, 12 years old.
Starting point is 00:38:01 We're kind of sketched out at this point in time. So we start doing a little fast pace. And we heard the sound again, and it sounds like a, kind of like a whoop. Or like a, kind of like when somebody just goes, whoop. And, you know, it kind of freaked us out. We didn't know what it was. And as soon as we said that, you know, right there up on a ridge, because we were, we were at a bottom. And right there up on the ridge, it's, I mean, we called it a mountain, but it's not a mountain.
Starting point is 00:38:32 It's just a giant hill. But this particular one has a lot of rocks and a lot of like it's been washed out. So it was pretty hard to get up there. And it had been raining, so it's muddy and it's slippery and everything else. well before that time we had we just seen something right there and so we stopped we're at the bottom
Starting point is 00:38:54 and we're looking up and we've seen something and I mean this is we're standing in grass that is almost taller than us though this is all like saw grass and whatnot and we see something stand up and it's like almost
Starting point is 00:39:08 it's right there in the middle it stands up and it stands and it just sits there and looks at us for a second and we see it we both look at each other and we're like you know we're are we seeing things or we both you know we have the fear of God going down our back and it's just standing there staring at us well we're
Starting point is 00:39:29 just like um we don't know what to do you know we need to go up this so because this is our only way home um well he's just standing there and we're just thinking you know it could be somebody but I mean I'm sitting there scared as I'll get out this is the most probably the most scared I've ever been my whole entire life and I'm just like my pupils probably had to be the size of half dollars because I was so entirely afraid well this this thing is just sitting here
Starting point is 00:40:01 and this is probably a minute in well it goes right back down to squatting down and we're just like this has got oh man Chandler I think you you may have muted yourself by accident. A fast, quick motion of just loud footsteps, just run. Hey, Shannon. You, your audio went out for after you said it crouched back down again.
Starting point is 00:40:38 Okay, okay. Yeah. I was getting called, my bad. I was, we had walked up to the ridge and, you know, because we were just, we, we didn't know what was going on. So we walked up to the on top of the hill and then next thing you know, I mean, like I said before, we're standing in saw grass that is almost as tall as us. I mean, we're 11 years old, you know, and this grass is tall as tall as I'll get out. And it's pretty hard for a person to maneuver through this grass because if you're not from the south, sawgrass is like, I don't know if you ever heard of like pompous grass.
Starting point is 00:41:16 But it will cut you. Like, bare skin, it will cut you. If you're running, it will cut you up. And it's super thick to navigate through. And, I mean, next thing you know, we get to the top of the ridge, and all you hear is just this, just running at a super fast pace. And all you hear is just trees crashing down. I mean, just bushes just crunching.
Starting point is 00:41:40 And we're just like, now we're like, we got the fear of God again. You know, we're sitting here. We crouched down because we're, We're so scared. We're hiding in the sawgrass, terrified. What is this out here with us? You know, it's just this and this, it's us and this creature out here with us. And we're just, all we have is little pellet guns. We don't have actual rifles. We just have little pellet guns. And I mean, I really, I haven't even told this story to a whole lot of people because most of the people just don't believe me. People just call me crazy, but I've been hunting the woods since I was a kid.
Starting point is 00:42:22 I mean, and I don't know what I saw that day, but from that day on, I've always said that I've believed in Bigfoot. Ain't no doubt that there's something out there, all right? It might not be Bigfoot. You know, it could be just some kind of descendant. I don't know what it is, but I will firmly believe that there is something out there that we have not you know actually cracked down on the species yet
Starting point is 00:42:50 but I mean that that's my story right there well man thank you for coming up and for sharing that you said it was western Alabama it was like South South Alabama like in the middle it's in this county called Monroe County
Starting point is 00:43:09 I really don't even think there's any been I know there's been big foot sightings in North Alabama and possibly South Alabama but But I've just kind of kept it to myself, you know, because everybody just thinks it's a joke. Yeah, I usually get reports from Talladega National Forest or Bankhead National Forest, which are totally different areas from Monroe. That's really interesting.
Starting point is 00:43:40 Oh, man. Yeah, thank you for sharing that. That is a brand new area for me. I appreciate it. Did you happen to get a good look at the face at all at any time during that? No. I mean, we were standing probably 150 yards to 200 yards away from this. But what I can tell you is that if I had a guess,
Starting point is 00:44:05 he was probably standing at 9.5, 10 foot tall, because the sawgrass was coming like barely on to his knees. and the way it dropped down into a crouch or a prone, that's what freaked me out. Something so big just dropped down and then got back up and just bolted full force. Shailer, thank you for coming up and for sharing your story. It sounds like for one of the first times publicly, I really appreciate that. Of course, man. Anything.
Starting point is 00:44:39 I'll be here. Listen to everybody else's. All right. Thank you for coming up, dude. Good stuff. There's a ton of people that are hanging. I appreciate everyone hanging out what you've experienced in the comments. I've got Hired here says 25 years ago between LaGrand and the summit of Cabbage Hill. Cabbage Hill is in Oregon. Cross I-84 in front of my truck. We'll see if that individual can come up. Hi there, Hyard. Thanks for coming up. How's it going? I'm doing okay. How about yourself? Doing great. So I saw your comment about that you had a road crossing,
Starting point is 00:45:32 siting around Cabbage Hill in Oregon? Yeah, most truck drivers, most of those old truck drivers and a bunch of new ones, they're very familiar with that hill. But this happened between LaGran, about half, halfway between LaGrand and Pendleton, or actually the summit of Cabbage Hill, which is just east of Pendleton. Cabbage Hill drops down into Pendleton. It was right about midnight, and I was headed west, headed toward the west coast, coming out of Boise and got to an open spot and there was nothing, you know, traffic was a left.
Starting point is 00:46:24 light. It was late spring, mid to late spring. Still a little bit of snow on the ground, but it was just on the ground. Roads were clear. And in the headlights, I saw something come, a shadow come across the eastbound side, and that three-foot concrete wall between the eastbound and westbound side, it stepped over it like I would step over a, I don't know, a couple sacks of concrete or something standing up on edge. Yeah. It walked over, it just, you know, I would say it was between eight and nine feet tall. Definitely a good layer of fur on it.
Starting point is 00:47:21 And it crossed the road right across in front of me. I pulled over on the shoulder and in the sandy, um, sandy dirt and soil right there on the side of the road. I got perfect, uh, perfect footprints and I used to have pictures and I think they're still on my computer on my old computer here in the corner.
Starting point is 00:47:48 Um, I took pictures of course this was after. I did something really stupid. I hit the shoulder and I grabbed the 45 coat revolver and I carry it with me. And I stepped on and I stepped off to the edge of the woods. And I got across the broken down barbed wire fence and went about 100 feet into the woods. And all of a sudden common sense kicked in. you don't want to go any further.
Starting point is 00:48:26 So I stepped back to the, step back to the truck, and I grabbed a camera. And of course, this was before we had cell phones. I grabbed camera and stepped out and under the headlights. I got some really good pictures of the footprints. So that was, that was pretty much my experience.
Starting point is 00:48:49 That is, that is incredible. You said it was about 25 years ago, right? Right. Okay. If you had to guess how long those footprints were, what would you say? They were a good 13 to 15 inches. Okay. Yeah, I measured them too. Okay.
Starting point is 00:49:13 From an old memory, because I'm 62 now. From an old guy's memory, that was, if I recall, it was between 13 and 15 inches long. Okay. From what you saw across in front, did it look more like a human-type creature or maybe an ape-type creature that was going across in front of you? A little bit of both. Yeah, a combination of all the above. Okay. Did you notice anything about its arms as it was crossing in front of you? everything appeared to be proportional to the body size as it would for any man
Starting point is 00:50:04 and so you're sitting in your truck as you're driving um is the head of it level with your eye level like you're looking out yeah it was somewhere somewhere in the vicinity of about between eight and nine feet tall
Starting point is 00:50:24 I'm looking at it, eyeball to eyeball. Oh, my goodness. Yeah, I've talked to a few truckers before, and they always say something similar, like they're looking pretty much dead on because of how tall it was, which is incredible. If you happen to find those photos, I would love to see them.
Starting point is 00:50:50 If you do find them on the computer, if you get a chance to look. Feel free to, my email's right there. If you feel inclined to send them, totally up to you, though. But I'd love to take a look at them. Yeah, I just took a screenshot, and I've got your email here now. Perfect. All right, well, we'll hire.

It was interesting and I don't know if anything, you know, anything would have happened if I had to continue deeper into the woods or not, but like I said, common sense took over and said you don't want to go any further.
Starting point is 00:53:52 So I turned around them with 100 feet back to the road. Probably a good choice that you did that where you got the camera. Yeah, it could have been. It could have been the best choice. I don't know if six rounds of 45 Colt would have put it down easy or not. But at the same time, I really didn't want to find out. It was more of a defensive measure than an offensive measure. You have a good night.
Starting point is 00:54:28 You too. Thank you. Hi there. Thanks for coming up. So I've been with my significant other for about 13 years now. And when I first met him, after like a year, he told me a story about him. He grew up in Mayaka, which is kind of a secluded area. It's not very built up.
Starting point is 00:54:54 There's a lot of farms and wooded area. Although this area has changed a lot and actually where he saw the, they call it a over here, a skunk ape and where he saw it was the area that was wooded is no longer wooded. It's they pretty much knocked down on the trees. But basically he was by, he was at the Maaka River under a bridge like him and his uncle and father were fishing. And he was on the one side under the bridge and his father and his uncle were on the other side.
Starting point is 00:55:27 And he was fishing and all of a sudden he noticed across. the river like in the wooded area um this like gray face furry face um like taking water from the river and drinking it and just like looking dead at him and he just was like walking backwards looking at it and then just rent you know like went off and went back to where his his uncle and dad were but um they and they didn't believe him and they were like you know saying yeah okay and laughing at him but but he swears he saw it and then What was interesting was that about, I don't even think a year later, on YouTube, somebody uploaded a video in Myakas State Park of two, or I don't remember it was one or two, but there were these, you know, dark looking, you know, like, almost like an ape figure, you know, running in the, in the field. So, I mean, I don't think he would lie. I never, you know, I never, he's not really that type of person. He's pretty.
Starting point is 00:56:31 sincere. So I believed him when he told me, but then when I saw that video, I was like, oh, wow, this is like really a thing. So yeah, that's pretty much the story I was told. Wow. You know what? Thank you for sharing what you were told there. It would be interesting. If you Google Myaka Skunkape, you should find a photo that's pretty famous. And it would be interesting to see if what he experienced. was anything similar to that photo, if you can find it. Yeah, I have seen that photo actually that you're talking about. It's like somebody, I think it was kind of like in a bush and they, like it was a woman that was in her yard or something like that. And I think she was hearing noises and then I ended up taking a picture of it or something like that. I'm correct about the story. But yeah, I mean, he's seen that.
Starting point is 00:57:26 Because when he first told me, then the video got uploaded, you know, I was just like, a topic of, you know, like when we were hanging out, sometimes we would talk about it. So, like I said, he only really saw, like, the face of it and it was, like, crouched down and it was, like, putting, you know, drinking water with his hands at the, at the river. So that's, and he said that it had, like, a gray face, which is, you know, grayish fur on his, on his face. Right. So. That's extremely interesting. Thank you for coming up and sharing. You're welcome to, uh, you're
Starting point is 00:58:00 Welcome to, if you feel inclined to do so, you can always pass on my email. It might be interesting to hear from him as well, but up to you. Yeah, I'll definitely give it to him, and I'm sure he'll be interested to write back. But one time when he was showing me where exactly on the river happened, all those, you know, all that got knocked down. So I always wonder if there is something, you know, like this out there, like, where would they go once they start knocking down, you know, where they're where they're from? Like, where do they, you know, go off to? But I haven't seen it. But I, you know, I'm one of those people that if I don't see it, I don't know. Like I'll, I believe it until, you know, it's like, well, it's never definitely going to be a definite, you know, you never will know for sure pretty much. So I believe it. Because I. you know, I don't think he would lie and I believe that he did see that. So, but yeah, I'll definitely send him your email and see for him to tell you his version.
Starting point is 00:59:07 Because I'm sure I've left things out and, you know, things like that. But that's basically what the story was. All right. Well, thank you. Thank you for coming up. I appreciate you sharing that. Sure. Have a good night. Here at Bigfoot Society, our goal is to provide a platform for those that having a encountered Bigfoot to share their encounter in a safe and respected environment. But we need to hear your story.
