Bigfoot Society - Strange Experiences Near Jiminy Peak In The Massachusetts Berkshires

Episode Date: March 16, 2026

In this episode, we delve into the unusual experiences of Jennifer, who has spent decades visiting the mountainous Berkshires of western Massachusetts near Jiminy Peak. Surrounded by dense forests, wi...nding mountain roads, and the wild terrain near Mount Greylock, Jennifer describes a series of moments that left her questioning what might be moving through those woods after dark. What began as a quiet night at her townhouse during the off-season suddenly turned tense when a deep, guttural growl came from the trees just beyond the property. Not long after, something struck the building with enough force to shake the entire structure. The area was silent, the neighboring units were empty, and the source of the impact remained a mystery.Jennifer also recounts an unsettling moment along a forested stretch of road near Blandford State Forest, where the natural sounds of the landscape suddenly vanished and an overwhelming feeling of unease took hold. As she reflects on these experiences, Jennifer explores how these strange events fit into the growing number of reports coming from the Berkshires and surrounding wilderness. Her story offers a fascinating glimpse into the quieter encounters people experience in places where mountains, forests, and long stretches of isolation create the perfect environment for the unexplained. Join us as we explore Jennifer’s intriguing experiences and the lingering question of what might be watching from the woods of western Massachusetts.🗣️ Share Your StoryHad a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience?Send it to bigfootsociety@gmail.com – your story might be featured on the show!🎥 Watch & Subscribe on YouTube🔴 Subscribe here → Bigfoot Society YouTube💬 Leave a comment & let us know your thoughts!📞 Leave a voicemail with your story → Speakpipe (Use multiple voicemails if needed)👥 Share this episode → Watch & Share🎧 More episodes → Podcast Playlist🌲 Recommended: New Jersey Bigfoot Encounters💥 Support the Show & Get Perks✅ Join the community on Supercast – Become a Member✅ Listen ad-free & early on YouTube – Join Here📱 Let’s ConnectInstagram: @bigfootsocietyTwitter: @bigfoot_societyTikTok: @bigfoot.society🧰 Tools & Partners I Use (Affiliate Links)These help support the show at no extra cost to you:Beam (Better Sleep): Try BeamWildgrain (Better Bread): Join HereSeed (Probiotics): Get SeedMedi-Share (Healthcare): Learn MoreLMNT (Electrolytes) Free Sample Pack with your first purchase! : Get LMNTOrganic and non-GMO groceries delivered for lesshttp://thrv.me/uarEhS🎙️ Podcasting Tools:Repurpose.io: Try ItDescript: Sign UpStreamyard: Start RecordingRiverside.fm: Try Riverside🎧 My Audio Interface: View on Amazon☕ Buy Me a Coffee – Support Here🛍️ Grab Some Merch – Shop on Etsy📬 Mailing Address:Bigfoot Society125 E 1st St. #233Earlham, IA 50072

You're listening to Bigfoot Society, and I'm Jeremiah Byron. In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring you first-hand encounters from people who say they've seen something impossible from back. backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.
Starting point is 00:01:36 These are the voices of the people who've lived it. So settle in because today you'll hear another account that just might change the way you see the woods forever. So stay with us. All right, Bigfoot Society. Welcome back to another show. We've got the privilege of talking to Jennifer today. Jennifer is a listener of the show, also a supporter of the show. And we got connected because Jennifer has a few interesting experiences to share, primarily from the state of Massachusetts, which listeners of the show will know.
Starting point is 00:02:08 I'm from originally from the Western side. So welcome to the show, Jennifer. How are you doing today? I'm doing well. Thank you, Jeremiah. Absolutely. You know, well, first off, is there anything else that listeners would need to know about you for a comment? before we start chatting about what you've experienced?
Starting point is 00:02:33 Just that when I was probably about 11 or 12, I grew up in northwest New Jersey, which a lot of people don't realize it's super rural. And we have big forest, and I grew up near a pipeline, and I got interested in Bigfoot because after a snowstorm, my friends and I were up on the pipeline, because we didn't have school that day, and we saw some footprints. And then, you know, then I guess I'm of the age where it was,
Starting point is 00:03:04 oh, who was the guy from Star Trek who did in search of and all that. Yeah, and they would have Bigfoot on there. And it just always piqued my interest. But then fast forward to Massachusetts, I'm married, and we have a place up at a resort, a townhouse called Jiminy Peak. and I kind of got into listening to your podcasts and a few others probably last year. And I didn't realize more of the things that people report about Bigfoot. And that's why when I recount what happened at our townhouse, I mean, I've never seen a Bigfoot,
Starting point is 00:03:42 but I think what happened, and I'm not saying it's definitively really was a Bigfoot thing, but it was always odd to me. And then when I listened to certain podcasts, I didn't realize Bigfoot would actually come up to houses and slap them and hit them. And then I was like, oh, maybe that's what happened at Jiminy Peak. So I don't know if you want me to start the story. I think I want to do a little bit of context for listeners. I feel like I always have to do this for Massachusetts because so many people I think are thinking of Boston and like there's no, yeah, there's no bigfoot stuff in Boston. Well, so Jiminy Peak area, that's that's more than.
Starting point is 00:04:23 northwest corner of Massachusetts, correct? Yeah. Yeah, we're about a mile from the New York border of Steventown. So you're about as west as you can get in Massachusetts. Absolutely. So you are up there kind of where it gets extremely wild. You've got the Berkshires out there. You've got North Adams.
Starting point is 00:04:42 And it's just, it is a whole different ballgame when you're trying to drive that area from New York and then across over to Route 2. So if you've got the idea of Boston in the Cape, you want to get that idea out of your head. This is definitely a more rough and remote area, wooded area of New England. So I just wanted to throw that out there. But yeah, feel free to take us back to, you know, when you started to realize there might be something going on with your property out there in Western Mass. Okay, well, we're in Jiminy Peaks and Hancock, Mass. It's actually not far from Pittsfield, but it's still rural.
Starting point is 00:05:31 I mean, you have the ski area there. I believe the Appalachian Trail isn't that far from there. And then you have Mount Greylock, which isn't far from my townhouse at all, where I think there's been quite a few sightings as well. I think one in Williamstown also not long ago. but anyway, it was what we call shoulder season. It was probably early spring. So it's when ski season is over or they call it mud season.
Starting point is 00:05:59 And my daughter had just gone away to college that following the fall. So I think that I set you the wrong day. I think it was 2024, not 2023. So two years ago. Or 2023. I don't know. She's a junior now. I can't do the math.
Starting point is 00:06:17 But anyway. It was shoulder season. So we have, we're at the end of the country in, and we're at the base of the mountain. So above us is the ski area. It's a run of one of the runs. So it's up a couple hundred feet. And then it drops off in back of our townhouse to a switchback road that also, in thinking about it, our shed is there where we put the garbage. So maybe that's a factor as well.
Starting point is 00:06:47 but so and through the years we've been going up there 30 years and um so i always take the dogs out a couple times and and we just had the the corgi was about a year old and um so i always take them out when right before we go to bed and it was about 11 o'clock and in the past when i've taken the dogs out at night you do you ever have that feeling of being watched you know especially it's almost like you can feel it seriously into your back and I would always feel like it was at that skier like way above me something peering down but I digress on that so I took the dogs there's like a little patch of woods that I would always bring them to to do their business and so we went down and as the dogs were entering
Starting point is 00:07:34 we heard a really low guttural growl and like all three of us just took off the dogs were like yeah we're done and we ran into the condo and I was like you know growing up and we're old New Jersey, you know, we have black bears. We didn't have as many when I was a kid, but, you know, and we have bobcats and what, and we do have mountain lines, even though they say we don't. But, um, so I figured, oh, maybe it was just that, you know, I mean, you try in your mind, but it scared the heck out of all three of us. Even the dogs were like, yeah, we're good, you know, we went back to the, so it was about a half hour later, and we went up the second floor and the master, and I let the dog sleep with me because my husband wasn't around.
Starting point is 00:08:17 He doesn't like the dogs to sleep with us. And all of a sudden from the back of the condo, something hit the condo and it shook, like really hard. And we do, we're attached. And we do have neighbors that have teenage boys. So I thought, oh, that was weird because I felt it from the back. But I thought, oh, maybe they just got here late and the boys are all clomping up the stairs
Starting point is 00:08:40 because it's to the right of my bedroom. You know, we're attached. But it was weird. because I felt it from the back because it didn't feel like the stairs, but you know, you're tired. You're just like whatever. So when I got out the next morning, nobody was there. I was the only one that stayed the night in our five condos. And, you know, when you file something away in your head and you're like, oh, that's weird.
Starting point is 00:09:03 And then when I started talking or listening to the podcast, I was like, hmm, you know, maybe that's an explanation. But I don't know would they, do they come that close to? to the houses, I mean, it was pretty desolate, but it was just strange. That's all. Yeah, I mean, the people that I've talked to over the years, this is a pretty,
Starting point is 00:09:28 you know, if they're going to be on the property, usually what will happen if they start to get really comfortable and they want to mess around is they will, and it usually ends up being the room where the person is sleeping
Starting point is 00:09:44 and it's like next to, their head for some reason. And that, that's a whole different question. It's like, can they somehow see through walls or like heat signatures or know where you are? But the interesting thing that always brings out, and I guess I'll ask it to you in a question, is did you get a sense of how high up on the wall they were hitting when they hit the side? Well, they had to have hit. See, I was on the second floor. I think they hit, like we have little in the back. So my master is in the front of the condo. And then behind me is another small bedroom. Then the downstairs underneath that is, you know, the staircase in the kitchen. And we all have little decks in the back. And I got the
Starting point is 00:10:34 feeling they hit between our two decks of my neighbors and myself. But I mean, these things were built in the 80s. I don't know how well they were built. But it shook. I've never felt the, you know, and I'm not embellishing. And I remember thinking it's odd because I felt it from the back. You know how you get a sense where and how it shook. It shook forward. But, you know, I just wanted to rationalize it in my mind that it was going up the staircase. But really, in thinking about it, it's never, the kids clumping on the stairplace has never felt. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. That's going to be totally different. It was just strange. And then since you know, the property pretty well, you'd have to think about, okay, so if something was standing back there
Starting point is 00:11:22 and hitting the side of the house in the area where it hit, you know, how high up would it have to be reaching from where it would be standing? I mean, to hit it like that, I would say at least seven or eight feet. Okay. Gotcha. Yeah, so that's something pretty tall or able to reach up pretty high. I mean, I wish I walked back there and I didn't because I had already said, oh, it's, you know, and then, you know, I was busy. I can't remember what I was doing then, but I wish I had walked back there because it was muddy.
Starting point is 00:12:01 I bet there would have been Prince if it was. Oh, I'm sure there probably would have been something. I was just going to just going to ask you that. So it is a residence that split. You have the other individuals that are, you said. it's kind of a split residence there. Are there other neighbors that are close by as well? Yeah, it's five units.
Starting point is 00:12:28 So townhouses are connected. So it's five units. We're the fourth one down. So it's kind of on an incline. And then the ski areas a few hundred feet up. So there's all. birch trees, obviously, because we're in the birchers and pines and what have you. And then there's a switchback road behind us that is about a couple, maybe, I don't know, 80 feet or 60 feet.
Starting point is 00:13:01 I'm not great with measurements below off our deck. You know, we have a little bit. I'm sorry, I'm not great at explaining things, but it was just odd. It was something that I always thought was odd, but then when I started listening to the podcast, I'm like, maybe that because I know I'm not far from Lennox maybe 40 minutes and October State Forest is that has had a lot of I mean there's a lot going on around Jiminy Peak I just didn't know if they would come so close you know to houses like that but I guess they know absolutely I mean I've talked to a few people in the area so like October Mountain yeah that's that's really active you've got I want to say it's Beartown or Bear Mountain, Great Barrington area. I spent a lot of time out there because my grandparents were in that area. So like around Monument Mountain, just a very, I mean, the houses are literally up to the sides of the mountains in some places.
Starting point is 00:14:09 And I mean, I remember staying at my grandmothers when I was a little kid and we would look outside and there'd be 30 turkeys in the front. yard and deer and I mean the wildlife is just there's not much separating you from what's out in the woods which which is incredible um so was that the uh the weirdest thing that you've experienced it or have you have you seen other things or weird things happen around the same property not really because it's not our primary and we generally just use it in the winter um But I do, my daughter had, I don't know if you know where Suffield, Connecticut is. It's right by Agawam. My daughter went to high school there at the boarding school.
Starting point is 00:14:57 And I hate 90, so I would take 20. You know, that goes along the river, you go through Beckett, go past Jacob's Pillow and all that. And it was just my kind of zen. Then I would squirrel all the back roads through Westfield and drop down to Suffield. It probably took me about 20 minutes long. But it was just, I don't like that. You know how 90 is. And there's that one stretch when you, I think if you got stuck, you're just done.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Because there's between, um, you take the Berkshire extension, you grab it. Yeah, you're talking about like the mass pike. Yeah, no, I don't like that. It's 90, I think. I don't know. But, um, I used to take, I think, I believe 20. And I would go in, because I'd love to go to my daughter's, um, uh, softball. And this was in the fall, though.
Starting point is 00:15:48 And so it was, you know, a warm fall day. And I was driving. And I was like a little ahead of schedule. So I figured I'd get out, stretch my legs because I, my knees were, I just got them replaced. But they would get stiff then because they were hurting me. I had my daughter in my 40s, so I'm an older mom. So I stopped at this like rest stop. It overlooks it.
Starting point is 00:16:14 I think it's right before. Russell. I think it's the Blanford. Is it Blanford State Forest? There's that section you go through on. I think that's the name. Don't quote me. And again, I didn't know about all this stuff, but I stopped at the rest off. And I was just sitting there kind of enjoying myself. And then all a sudden I got a really weird feeling of just dread and like, oh, I need to get out of here. All right, quick quiz for the hiring managers out there. What's worse? Did you need 15 seconds away from music? Or 15 seconds to eat arreases? Perhaps it's true. Everything happens for a recess. And then it was weird because for about four or five seconds, I couldn't hear anything.
Starting point is 00:18:20 And I almost felt like it was just weird. And all of a sudden, I couldn't hear anything. And I'm thinking of my, you know, having a stroke or is my hearing? Like, is there something wrong with me? I tend to have low blood pressure, not high blood pressure. But I, you know, and I just, it lasted, like I said, maybe four seconds. but it scared me because it's just and then because I could hear the rustling
Starting point is 00:18:45 of the leaves I could hear it had rained the night before so the you know the river you know how the river sometimes can be deeper and sometimes more shallow and I could I thought I could hear it when I sat down and then all of a sudden I couldn't
Starting point is 00:19:00 and then it was almost like I didn't hear it but do you ever get like a high pitched in your ear? Oh yeah and it lasts for a few seconds it was almost like that but just imagine not being able to hear. And it kind of came and went, but it was just strange. And I felt funny and thought, well, am I dehydrated?
Starting point is 00:19:18 So I just went back to the gar and drank some water and went on my way. But it was the weirdest thing. I actually went to the audiologist two weeks later and explained the whole thing. And he's like, well, you're fine. I said, you don't think I was having a stroke or anything? He goes, no, if you're having a stroke, you probably wouldn't be talking to me right now. Yeah, exactly. But it was strange.
Starting point is 00:19:41 And again, never knew about this stuff until I started listening, you know, to your podcast and West's and, you know. Absolutely, yeah. The ear thing is such a weird thing. Was there anything with like, could you feel like pressure changes during the same, like your eardrum pressure changing at all or it was just like, boom, silent? Yeah, because you know when you get that ringing in your ear, you get that. pressure. It was the same thing, but not being able to hear. Do you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:20:14 Yeah, no, exactly. Because the one time I've experienced that was in, just outside of Oak Ridge, one of the times I was up there and got super quiet and then couldn't hear anything. Oh, man, it was weird. It was so weird. Pressure started changing. It felt like you were in an air bubble or underwater is very strange stuff. And I've heard other witnesses say that too. The other really interesting thing about the Blandford, and I believe I'm looking at that, yeah, Blanford by Russell,
Starting point is 00:20:51 I'm looking at the right area. It's just north of Cable Mountain Reservoir, which has come up on the show before, and that is a super, super active area. It's actually come up two times. There's Ernie Devereaux's encounter when he was hunting, and then the Vogel brothers have a lot of encounters. And I mean, it's not that far north of where 23 is on Blanford. So I say all that to say, it's not out of the question that you were pulled over.
Starting point is 00:21:25 You may have experienced something weird and something Bigfoot related in that area for sure. I mean, it's just strange. I mean, I always grapple with, I would love, we go up the Taconic Parkway all the time, and I know they, I think I heard a show of yours that someone saw one. I know the exact spot. Actually, I just went, was looking, you know, now I'm looking all the time because I know they're in that area too. I would love to see one, I think, but then sometimes I'm not so sure.
Starting point is 00:21:57 Because I do believe they exist. There's no doubt in that line. So, but I have a question for you. That weird thing that happened by the river. I mean, do people have any explanations for it? I mean, now that I'm listening to everything, I mean, do we think it's like, why would that happen? Is it not to get too weird, but is it a dimensional thing? When I was in my 20s, I read this book.
Starting point is 00:22:24 It kind of dumped down quantum physics. It's called Dance of the Woolly Masters. It's a phenomenal book. and it kind of explains basic physics and quantum physics. And, I mean, it's just weird. I mean, I know there's some woo side of Bigfoot, but can they change the atmosphere like that? Are they changing your dimension?
Starting point is 00:22:48 What's going on? I mean, nobody knows the answers, but it's just interesting. Right, right. It is a thing where at this point, since, you know, the point, from what we know, there hasn't been one study. and so you don't know what it can do, right? Now I know what I've been told from reports and what I've experienced, and it does seem that in these areas where there is said to be activity
Starting point is 00:23:16 and they're charged up, people are experiencing things like the pressure changing suddenly in their ears and not being able to hear anything, or it goes up very quiet, or they hear something that sounds like a metal door opening. Some people think that might be related to portal activity, perhaps. There's also another really weird thing I experienced in the same area is, so me and a gentleman, we were hearing howl screams from in the woods, and another person that was right next to us was like, I can't hear any of that.
Starting point is 00:23:58 I didn't hear any of that. And then later on, it would be reversed, where this individual would hear something coming from the woods. And we didn't hear any of it either. So really, I think another question to ask is, you know, is there a way that these, you know, whatever they are can affect the senses of humans where they can, they can affect what we are seeing, what we are hearing, maybe. even smelling, who knows? And I don't know if that is something where it's related to infrasound. You know, for every question you ask, it feels like there's 10 more questions that come up. And everyone has a different way of looking at it, which is why I, one of the reasons I love this topic, because you can get really, really deep into it. But yeah, I mean, I hope that in our life sometime,
Starting point is 00:24:52 we start to get these answers, but I'm not really sure if we ever will, to be honest. Yeah, it is kind of crazy because I kind of got into the, I don't know if you want to me talk about other paranormal things, but I lived in a house for 30 years that was haunted and connected. And that's how I started really looking into, but I always had things since I was a little kid and my grandma passed away. She was in her 80s and I think she might have had some kind of paranormal things. So she had all these books hidden away on, you know, egregate case and metaphysical things.
Starting point is 00:25:33 And I think that, and, you know, she graduated from Barnard College in 1917. She was very learned, but I think she might have hid this part of herself, you know. And my daughter has it. I have it. I have a nephew that is a sensitive as well. And, you know, that's where I think the dimensions come in. I mean, the physics, you know, they vibrated a different thing. us, but sometimes, like, I guess the vibrations match up, or you can, I can feel, I have seen a
Starting point is 00:26:05 lot of spirit, but I sense them. We just moved to a new house down in New Jersey, and I did see a revolutionary war spirit, which was kind of wild, and I know people are probably going to think I'm crazy, but it really happened. I'm married to a chemist, and he never believed this stuff till now after 30 years in our Connecticut house. He believes. Oh, so even he has experienced weird things in this Connecticut house. Now, it's very interesting because, you know, that's another pattern. You know, individuals that have these experiences with, you know, what we think is Bigfoot, usually it's a thing, I mean, you can ask it every time where has other stuff happened?
Starting point is 00:26:49 Have you experienced anything else? Have you had a UFO experience, et cetera? is like every time it's just either they're open to it or they're as you said they're more sensitive to it I mean I don't I can't think of a time really where it hasn't happened where an individual hasn't had multiple type encounters and I don't know really what the explanation is especially when it when they have the big foot encounter and then the stuff starts kicking it's like well did you get open? up to everything and now these things kind of get, you know, magnetized and connected to you. I don't really know. But did you, so you started experiencing that stuff before your, your Bigfoot experience, though? I mean, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:44 I mean, I was in Connecticut, but in the little nub. So we're a little too close to New York City. I mean, I don't know in Fairfield County. but I was close to the New York border also there, but I don't know if, I mean, we had a beautiful home in the woods, but we generally had more of the paranormal with the, you know, the ghost, the spirits.
Starting point is 00:28:09 And they were pretty, I actually eventually had a couple ghost tempting groups come in and they would call me every once in and say, hey, I got new equipment. Can I come to your house? I know it all. You know, you know, it was very active. In fact, when I sold it, I told them this, you know, we've had issues and but nothing, you know, demonic or I don't know, all those shows, but I guess it happens.
Starting point is 00:28:33 So it was, it was very, how would you say, I'm not really versed in that side. They're just kind of hanging out. They're not causing any harm. No, there was through, well, can I tell you a quick story? It's kind of a interesting one. We did have a little boy, and I didn't find out his name until I have 10 years between my children, not great planning. And when my son was about three, I thought I saw him. He was blonde and sitting on, you know, we had your basic Center Hall Colonial, so I was walking into the foyer.
Starting point is 00:29:16 I saw him at the corner of my eyes sitting on the stairs, and I thought he was in the family room by the kitchen. And I turned to say, Gordon, what are you doing here? And he wasn't there. And then I walked and he's in the family room. And Gordon every once in a while would say he saw, you know, somebody walked by, but nothing is definitive as my daughter. So fast forward, my daughter is about three. And she starts telling me that a boy named Arnold keeps coming to her room at night.
Starting point is 00:29:48 And I said, okay, what does Arnold look like? now you've got to stay with me on this one. She said his arms and legs are the wall, but his face isn't. And what I figured out is she didn't know the word transparent. So he must have been solid in his head, but she could see the wall through his arms and legs because he was transparent. My goodness. And that was kind of wild. That's weird.
Starting point is 00:30:12 I mean, that's something you're not expecting to run into for sure. Were you seeing any like spheres? or or or or herbs or anything like that time? I did well when we did have the investigators come in and they got a lot of pictures of orbs they even got a shadow figure because we also had a I later found out her name is grace through EVPs and grace was lovely. I actually miss grace. I was hoping maybe she was attacked to one of my antiques and would follow me here to
Starting point is 00:30:46 New Jersey, but she would hum and she would leave like a floral scent. And they actually got a shadow figure of her, and you can kind of see the bustle of her Victorian. She was from the Victorian era. My house was built in the 60s for like IBM executives, but the land was, well, it had been Indian land that then they gave over to the Dutch. And then it had been an estate, part of an estate for Nora Mellon, who had married Andrew Carnegie Mellon. and they did have twin boys, but I couldn't. I've tried to research and see what they're twin boys, but that was the turn of the century. But I learned that from all the ghost hunter groups that came in, but they took pictures.
Starting point is 00:31:31 But I really liked Grace. I know it sounds weird because my parents were both sick and dying at the same time, and I was very upset, and I was in the kitchen cooking by the counter. And I felt a hand on my back, and it was comforting. I know it would freak a lot of people out, but I really felt. that it was weird. You know, maybe people think I'm too codependent,
Starting point is 00:31:52 but, you know, because I hate these shows. It's always a demon and this and that. I mean, I don't know. I felt comfort from her. You know,
Starting point is 00:32:02 I really did. So the weird thing is the crossover in the way that you just describe some things and how you hear those come up in, other witness accounts too and I'm thinking specifically like the floral scent like you you can hear that come up in certain bigfoot witness accounts too where they're like all of a sudden they they smelled some kind of flower you know and then around their bigfoot experience which I don't know if you've ever read dark matter monsters by Dr. Simeienheim but it is a fantastic read no I'm kind of it is it's about like quantum it's got a quantum physics and stuff in there. But what he does is he kind of tries to make sense of everything and how the paranormal stuff and the Bigfoot stuff
Starting point is 00:32:58 could all be related into the same deal and what the reasons behind it could be. And if you're into that kind of stuff, I would recommend it. It's a fun one to check out. You have to read it. I had to read a few times. But it is, it's a fun one.
Starting point is 00:33:19 I think I probably would too. Well, I definitely will take that recommendation. It's just, I don't know, it's having had all these experiences and then finding out again in the last year or so that there is a, I guess people call it the Wu side of Bigfoot, I have to tell you when I first heard it, I wanted to reject it, reject it wholeheartedly. I just wanted it to be an ape that or a missing link. I didn't want it to have a paranormal component, which is stupid, considering I lived in a house that was haunted for 30 years. And I'm sitting there, why am I wanting to reject this? And, you know, the more I listen because I don't think these people are lying. I just don't.
Starting point is 00:34:03 And so I'm still having trouble reconciling it. And I think the Bigfoot community, from what I'm hearing, as a whole is. Yeah, the way I look at it is. So more like the paranormal side, I think it is, it's what we haven't reconciled in our minds yet. It's what we don't understand scientifically. So, you know, a lot of the community will say on the Wu side, as in saying those people are crazy, which I reject with the most of my being. One, that's being a terrible person. It's not treating people. in a great way. You're just calling them crazy. And two, if we're going to figure this out, we've got to have our minds open
Starting point is 00:34:54 to what these people, these witnesses are saying. The thing about it is all these witnesses are not just all getting together at some retreat and saying, okay, if we talk to the podcasters, make sure you say this, this, and this. These are people that don't know each other
Starting point is 00:35:11 from different time periods, some from yesterday, some from 50 years ago. And I mean, here's an example. I just talked to an individual who had a mind speak or telepathy incident with what she thinks is a Bigfoot back in 1970 in southeast Oklahoma, which, I mean, I don't know if I've heard any other accounts of that far back for telepathy encounters. So, yeah, it's kind of a hot button.
Starting point is 00:35:45 topic with me because I just want people to be heard and to to not be made fun of I mean they didn't they didn't they didn't choose to be freaked out they didn't choose to have something mess with their house or or leave you know let's say dead animals all over their lawn or or you know there's one individual I talked to where they're in a cabin in northern Ontario and all of a sudden a Sasquatch appears next to their bed and then they blip out, they disappear.
Starting point is 00:36:20 It's like, how do you explain that? You just can't. It's wild stuff. Well, that's a heck of a way to wake up. It really is, yeah. I couldn't imagine. I don't know if I'd get out of bed, I'd put me under the covers,
Starting point is 00:36:35 but pretty wild stuff. Oh, boy. Yeah, it really is. It really is. So, yeah, I think there's a lot to the subject, And I hope, you know, some part of me hopes that we do get the proof we need and part of me.
Starting point is 00:36:56 I don't know if it would be a good thing for a Sasquatch to be captured or I don't know. All right, quick quiz for the hiring managers out there. What's worse? They say everything happens for a reason, but I suspect everything happens for a Rises. Like this commercial break, did you need 15 seconds away from music? Or 15 seconds to eat or Reese's? Perhaps it's true. Everything happens for a Rises. And can they be captured? I don't know. Or are there subs, I kind of think maybe there because some people report rounderhead, some more conical. Are there two different species where one has the paranormal and one doesn't? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:38:50 I mean, I'm just surmising. No one really knows. These are the things I think about. Right, exactly. It's a really good point because there are people that bring up, you know, that there could be two different types. There could be a much older. I think some people call them like ancient ones and they may have more of a rounder head.
Starting point is 00:39:11 and then you've got ones that have like that that more sagittal crest to the top of their heads which you know kind of has like you look at a gorilla etc things like that it's just one of those things you know you ask one question and the 10 more questions come up but is this a thing where you you want stuff to continue to keep happening or you're just like you know i experience this stuff it's confusing i'm not sure what to make of it and I'm just trying to figure it out as I go along. You know, I'm 61 years old. I mean, I have more of my life behind me than ahead of me. I mean, I just, I'm an experience whatever life gives me. And I am very interested in the
Starting point is 00:40:00 subject and that's why, you know, I'm listening to all these podcasts. I do, I do support the paranormal. I have a lot of authors that I moderate panel. with, you know, to help them, you know, A, sell their books, but, you know, talk about these subjects because I do find, especially I have done panels on the UFO phenomena and I've done it on paranormal, meaning psychic and ghost hunting. And, you know, these people are all earnest and I believe their stories and their books are wonderful. And I think it's important because if you've had these experiences nine times out of ten you're going to be made fun of and i i feel like we're in a good time now because people are actually getting the word out and because a lot of these i'm sure you know
Starting point is 00:40:54 better than i do they're really you know can cause psychological damage to these people and then when they tell it and then people make fun of them i mean they need the support and i think what you do what wesell and all the podcasters is invaluable it really is you know i mean i would hate it And I've had people say, I believe you think you see ghosts and like, okay, condescending much, you know, but, you know, I've had this is my life and I'm not lying. I, you know, I swear on my children's lives. I mean, it's just what it's happened. You know, it's sad when people don't have the support. Now, my husband's not totally on board with Bigfoot, but he knows about the ghosts and the spirits. He's, you know, he's experienced it, you know. yeah i mean i i PTSD from from this subject from people that have had experiences
Starting point is 00:41:51 some of the experiences get so intense i mean they're in a tent by themselves something and i just talked to an individual of mount hood national forest uh this lady was by herself in a tent and something came
Starting point is 00:42:11 I mean, the Bigfoot were coming into the camp like crazy. And one night, she, one came close to the tent and, like, was smelling her hair through the tent. And she was just screaming at the top of her lungs. But the crazy thing is, like, no one else could hear her screaming that night through the camp, which leads us back to that question. Can they affect what we hear? You know, which that's even scarier. But the thing I wanted to say is, you know, even myself as a Bigfoot podcaster, you know, a person who talks to people, even I experience it. Sometimes people will ask, hey, what is it that you do?
Starting point is 00:42:56 Well, I talk to people about their Bigfoot encounters. I've had people that literally turn on their heel and walk away. They don't even say by. And I'm like, oh my goodness, this is. And that is such a small thing to deal with. I mean, some of these witnesses, they are going through just ridicule. I mean, you think of Bob Gimlin, the stuff that he went through and his wife, she was working at the bank and she's just, people were messing with her. And for years, you know, Bob wasn't coming into the public eye and thankfully he did.
Starting point is 00:43:32 But you're right, you know, things need to keep being shared. I would hope witnesses keep coming forward and a show like mine or Wes's or like Brian King Sharp or Miguel and all these guys just so that someone has the place to share what they've been experiencing. But Jennifer, it has been a really fun chat
Starting point is 00:44:01 talking to you about Massachusetts. I mean, these areas, I grew up in the region so I know what you're dealing with out there and also you know we're talking out Mike Fam a lot before the show and how he's down there in New Jersey so I've talked to him quite a bit and so I'm aware that you know northern New Jersey Sussex County there's there's tons of Bigfoot activity down there but I just want to say thank you so much for coming on the show. I want to make sure that you were able to share everything that you came to the show to talk about today. Yeah, I'm good, and thank you for having me on.
Starting point is 00:44:44 And, I mean, my encounters were super exciting because I didn't see anything, but they were just odd. And who knows if they were Bigfoot related. But I, again, after listening to all the podcasts this past maybe eight, nine months, I'm like, those were things that now I'm like, hmm. Absolutely. And listeners, if anyone, you know, in the same areas that Jennifer is brought up, if you've experienced something or had something happen you think might be Bigfoot related, feel free to either you can leave it in the comments on YouTube or feel free to reach out to me through email. It's Bigfoot Society at gmail.com. But thank you so much for being here, Jennifer, and thanks all for listening today.
