And it listened to me.
It walked out of thicket.
It turned around and looked at me.
Looked up and then this tree, there was a monkey man.
And the monkey man jumped down out of the tree.
It started running away.
And suddenly they're right in front of the car.

This is called Strange Stories with Jeremiah Byron.
And we have a fun time here.
Do this Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday night,
9 to 10 p.m. Central Standard Time.
If you have a strange story to share,
Crypted Bigfoot UFO aliens, strange, weird, unknown.
We've had stories of all sorts.
Call on in 515-809-0165.
If you call in and I don't pick up, I'll call back, okay?
Also, the one rule we have so far, keep it clean, no cussin, because you never know where these will end up.
That's what I'm saying.
So that's like Art Bell had the same rule too.
So we got to keep it, keep it classy.
You know what I'm saying?
Cassie is here too.
She says Greg, but she also says, happy birthday.
I'm excited.
Let's see.
Alan, that rocking Dave Matthews ripoff type music was from the YouTube audio library.
So that's a royalty-free song and I thought it was rock and roll.
because we have a good time here.
This isn't a time where I'm like, you know, talking bad about people are like blah blah, blie, ring, right, ring.
You know, this is a time.
It's good times.
It's vibes.
It's sharing stories.
Last time we had some crazy stories from Josh.
He was calling in with like Amish paranormal stories and like crazy like possessed RC cars from the Vietnam vet helmets.
It's nuts.
You got to you got to listen to the replay.
There was a lot of good stories in there.
But we're just kind of hanging out here.
We're a few minutes in.
Rutt Row.
First caller.
Here we go.
Call from Maple Ridge landscaping and grading.
Hello.
Josh, how's it going?
Pretty good, man.
Happy birthday.
Hope it's a good one.
Thank you.
Real quick.
You're aware of this live on YouTube and record for the podcast, and there's no cussing, right?
Yes, sir.
All right.
Let me make sure.
I want to double check my.
volume real quick. Okay, go ahead.
Yeah, um, can you hear me good? Yeah, I can hear you. Yep.
Okay, because I realized I watched that video and you couldn't, it sounded like you
couldn't hardly hear me on the recording, but, um, I'm talking, I'm doing this through my,
uh, my, uh, iPhone earbuds. So.
Fantastic. Yeah, that's fine. I've got the sound, uh, pumped up a little bit. So we're
good to go, Josh.
So what a, and thank you for the well wishes for the birthday, too.
No problem, man.
So I got some more Amish chronicle, weird chronicles.
More Amish, weird stories?
I'm on.
Yes.
So I'm just going to make this one quick.
But my dad had told me this also, and I forgot it.
I'm getting old.
I'm 36, you know.
Start forgetting stuff.
anyway, before they came down from Delaware, my grandma had two cousins, and evidently they had been dabbling in something that wasn't a part of really the Amish belief or, you know, religious system up there.
And they had been dabbling in something occultish.
And he had...
Yeah, they were having some kind of get together or something.
And they said, my dad's name's Daryl.
I said, Darryl, once you come sit in this chair and we're going to see,
we're going to show you something.
It can't blow your mind.
Oh, no.
And, yeah.
So my dad was, you know, I think he was probably, probably in his early teens or something.
So he sat down in this wooden chair
And it was one of those that had like a wicker bottom
And it was a straight back
You know
It's an old wooden chair
And two cousins
They're both men
Males
Got beside my dad in the chair
And they said
Just relax
You know yourself
And put your hand
Put your
Yeah
I mean it was
It was
They were setting him up man
because he was not, my poor dad, he wouldn't ask for this stuff, you know.
He just kind of got in there, thrown in there.
But, so he sat in the chair and he put his arms down, relaxed.
And they each stuck their point, each of the guys beside him,
stuck their pointer finger under his, uh-oh.
Oh, my goodness, Josh, I'm so nervous right now about this story.
Yeah.
They stuck their corner fingers out of his out of his armpit.
Okay.
And dad said what he felt then was he felt like something come around him.
Like, you know how people say you have an Aurora around you.
Okay.
You know, they'll say you got some kind of light around you or whatever.
He said that it felt like something came around him.
Ooh.
And so they picked him, they started putting pressure and they picked him up with their
corner fingers while he was in that chair.
And the chair came too.
They picked him up.
They dad said there was no weight, pressure or anything.
where their fingers were, it was like he was floating.
And they walked like so many feet, and then they turned around, and they came back, they
set him down.
And my dad said, like, it was floating.
See, he felt like something was under the chair, and that actually done the lifting.
But when they set the chair down, when they set the chair down, my dad took off.
He was out of there.
And he got out of there.
he went to the back room and the two guys were just laughing.
You know, that's an old big joke.
And my dad said, look, he said, I don't know what you guys are into, but don't ever touch me again and don't ever, you know, trick me into doing that.
Wow.
I didn't know what, I had no idea that y'all were going to do that.
So, that was, that really freaked my dad out.
But, you know, I guess every religion seems like it's got some kind of like size, you know,
a little dabling into something on the side that they shouldn't be, you know, missing with.
Josh, that's interesting.
So my dad used to have a lot of folklore books in his collection.
I would read them when I was a lot younger.
I was, you know, a little kid, I would read him.
He had the Foxfire set of books.
I believe I read about something similar to this in the Foxfire set of books, which is like a collection of pretty much folklore, cultural things from Appalachia, West Virginia area, from the 70s, I believe.
But that's such an interest.
I've never heard of a group actually doing it before.
That is so weird.
Yeah, my, you know, my dad said he couldn't move either.
Wow.
When they lifted him, he could not move and do anything.
That probably freaked him out the most, you know, that he couldn't get away.
He couldn't change what was going on, you know.
He was scared him, it scared him whatever.
But as far as I know, after that episode,
They really, my grandma and our side of the family really had nothing to do with the rest of those people.
I don't even remember seeing them in my life or no, you know, even hearing of them anymore except that one episode.
But yeah, so there's another crazy one for you.
Josh, I love it.
That's a wild, dude.
It's that kind of stuff that, you know, those like cultural weird things.
that, you know, in our childhood or our relatives' childhood that happened, and you just,
you can't explain how it works.
I'm sure there's some, you know, probably scientific reason for that, but it's just like,
it's right on the outskirts of what we can explain.
It's so weird.
Thank you for calling in, man.
Well, the thing is, there's a couple of parts to that story that were.
really weird other than just him getting lifted is he was sitting in that chair and there was no
straps there was nothing but when he lift they lifted him the chair came with him that's weird yeah
so it was like something was holding it all together holding the chair to my dad or i don't know
so it could be you know a funny trick or something or something
something that they can do, or it could be, it could be explained scientifically.
But, I mean, that, that, that whole episode was, to me, it was like, you know, these guys,
these guys of, uh, they may, they have stumbled on something.
They probably shouldn't be messing with it.
But, uh, yeah, um, yeah, I appreciate you.
Let me, let me, let me get that out.
And, uh, I love it, Josh.
you've got some, man, the stories that you've shared so far are pretty wild and crazy, and I'm loving it.
So I always appreciate when you call in, dude.
All right.
Jeremiah, well, you have a good one, man.
All right.
Thanks for calling you, man.
See you.
We've got a great first call there from Josh calling in about a weird experience.
Hmm.
Not sure what I think about that.
If anyone has any thoughts about what could explain that scientifically, feel free to put your thoughts in the chat.
If anyone else has any cool stories to share, now is the time to call on in.
You can call 515-809-0165.
You can go ahead share this in any of the groups that you're in.
Or if you know a friend that has some cool stories to share, they can call.
on in, you can send him a message, say, hey, call this guy. I call 505809-0165. You know when your nose is like
itchy right here and it's like it gets you right. Man, this week is flying by. Jonathan Dodd told me he was like,
dude, the week before Crypticon is going to fly by, you have no idea. And he was right. It's going by
super quick. I'm running out of time
to get stuff ready
to make sure I'm good to go.
But Friday
morning
I'm headed
out to Crypticcon.
It always happens
right before the whistle. There's a little
voice that says, what if I mess up?
What if I'm not ready?
I see a whole highlight reel of everything
I don't want to happen.
Missed shots, turnovers,
letting my team down. And for
For a second, there's doubt.
But then, I realize I've done enough to be where I'm at.
The early mornings, the extra reps, the days I wanted to quit and didn't.
So I smile.
Self-doubt is natural, but my smile is a reminder that I'm resilient.

First off, let's hear where people are from,
put your location or like who you're caught,
where you're hanging out tonight in the chat.
But sorry, I've got to be careful how I drink water.
I don't want it to overpower the audio.
Let's see.
Man, we've been having some crazy, crazy times.
First off, I'm just excited to meet everyone.
Oh, my goodness, here we go.
Ooh, this is a new state.
Call from.
Yohole Tiger.
Yes.
Hello, Yohola.
Hey, how's it going?
Good, real quick.
So currently you are live on YouTube with strange stories.
This is also recorded for the podcast.
And the one rule we do have is that we like to keep it clean.
So no custom, please.
Yeah, no doubt, no doubt.
All right.
Well, go ahead.
Share who you are.
And if you wouldn't mind, would you be able to turn down the audio
on the computer in the background.
So there's no feedback.
I got you right here.
Thank you, sir.
So my name is your holo-tiger.
I'm one of the, I guess you said,
one of the four posts of Unsolved Missries of the Reservation.
We have a YouTube channel and we have YouTube channels with the same name.
We also were on Spotify.
We have like 30, almost 35,000 on TikTok.
But yeah, man, I was scrolling through our,
we have a, we've been kind of low.
on our TikTok
since Halloween, basically.
And I just happened to see your message the other night.
And, you know, I was like, hey, you know,
that's always good to kind of, you know, share, you know, help each other out.
I guess what comes down to.
Exactly.
Oh, man.
So this is a treat to have you on, sir.
I totally digging the stuff you guys are doing on that podcast and on that TikTok.
And it is incredible.
So thank you so much for hanging out a little bit with us.
tonight and for calling in.
Very cool.
Yeah, man.
Yeah, yeah, no problem.
Yeah, you know, like said, you know, we, we talk about a lot of different things.
Our last, or our latest episode was a dogman episode.
And we talk about wolves in that episode too as well.
You know, a wolves have kind of a, you know, I'd say, you know, a representation in native culture.
So we dove in pretty deep on that one.
And, you know, we always be laughing too.
usually the first 10 minutes of the podcast.
Usually he'd cut in up and, you know, having a good time.
Exactly.
So would you be able to share?
Do you have a dog man story that's pretty wild?
Or any story that you're comfortable to share would be awesome.
Yeah.
Man, it's putting me on the spot here.
Yeah.
That's the best, you know, because like, you know, we, we, we,
We talked about, I mean, if you guys haven't heard the episode, you know, we get listener stories from all over the place.
And I'm from Calico, Oklahoma, where I was born, Hastings Hospital, IHS, you know.
So, you know, in that area, I told a story on that, on the latest episode about a wolfman, but I'm going to tell you a story that, you know, or a legend, or I guess you could say it's something that goes on.
and a little bit outside of California.
So I'm Cherokee.
So we Cherokees, we have this thing, you know, that, you know, some people call it a skin walker.
Some people call it, you know, a werewolf, you know, dog man.
Cherokees, we call shapeshift.
Okay.
And there's been a lot of sighties and a lot of reporting.
Now, that's one thing that, you know, I was.
keep my head in that community and, you know, we don't share,
natives don't share a lot of, I guess you can say, real,
I call it Rezi story.
Yeah, sure.
Because some of that stuff is kind of, you know,
people get real offended by that.
But I'm sure a little bit of inside here.
So there's, like I said, outside of Talk, Oklahoma,
there's been reported, there's a certain road that this shows.
tape shifter that it walks down the road.
This story is an old Cherokee elder story.
And basically what happened was,
her and her brothers were out one night.
And it's real late.
We were real, real late.
And they thought they could hear something off on the hillside
coming down down the road.
And they go to kind of look and they're like, you know,
not seeing real nothing.
And all of a sudden,
they kind of heard coyotes.
It was almost like a bunch of coyotes
were around.
Oh, wow.
And all of a sudden,
they kept hearing this yipping sound
all kind of in the brush.
And they walk in as they get closer and closer.
She gets scared.
The woman telling the story gets scared
and she goes back to the house.
All of a sudden, you know,
it was about 10 minutes later,
her brothers come running back
brothers and cousins come running back
real hard, like fast and
scared, real scared.
And she was, what did you see?
What did you see?
Well, coming down that road
was this about eight foot tall
dog man, werewolf looking thing
down the road.
And it was yipping, like a coyote.
And they, I asked her,
you know, I kind of,
you know, I heard this,
I've heard this story, this similar type of story, in that area.
Okay.
And basically how it's described is it almost has like raccoon hands.
Really?
It's got backwards.
You know how dogs, if you stood a dog up, they have those kind of backwards-facing
legs.
Yep, yep.
Than humans.
And that's what they described it as.
And it was black.
And so, you know, that's some things that's been going on around there.
and, you know, like I said, you don't hear these stories, you know, anywhere.
And that's one thing that about our podcast is, you know, a lot of, there's not a lot of
representation when it comes to these stories with Muskogee Creek, Pawnee, Missouri, Oto,
Cherokee, Yuchi, there's not a lot of representation.
Chokhtaw, Chickasaw, you always hear out west, you know, Navajo.
Sometimes you'll hear some stories about the youths or,
you know,
Pueblo people.
And so our podcast,
we'd like to share
some of those,
some of those stores.
It is,
it's so good.
Like,
I can't recommend it enough.
Everyone that hears this needs to go check it out.
I'm going to put,
I'm going to put a note
that I need to link it
in the show notes too for this.
But,
man,
Yoho,
I am just such a fan of what you guys are doing.
You're able to
respectfully share the stories of your culture.
It's just,
it's so cool.
So have there been any interactions with that,
that creature that was seen or was it just what?
It was seen from a far type deal?
Well, they've seen it.
They've seen it walking.
They were pretty close to it.
Okay.
You know, I've heard that.
And here's one thing, too, that on our, if you listen, you know, like I said, people listen to our podcast.
Right.
You know, we, we're always told you're not supposed to be, you're not supposed to be seeing these things.
And it's almost like she really, I would say superstitious is the word, but, you know, you're not supposed to see these things.
These things happen.
These things are real.
And these beings are real.
And a lot of times, there's a, you know, I've been told growing up from elders and people that you're not supposed to talk about these things is within a certain time period.
It's supposed to let that medicine or that whatever it is fade before you talk about it.
Okay.
So a lot of times, you know, these stories, you know, people don't share them, you know, or they see the same thing and they just don't, you know, they don't share it.
but a lot of times people would see this thing running around.
And I know I've heard different people that have investigated Dog Man and things like that.
They say that they're around and there's a lot of them.
Wow. That's intense.
And for what a, I'm not super familiar with the geography of Oklahoma.
what, let's say what corner or is this southern Oklahoma?
Northeast?
Northeast.
Is it near the Wachita Mountains?
Yes, in that area.
It's also, you got the forest.
I mean, it's real, we're a real forested area.
We do have kind of flatlands too, but it's real, a lot of heavy, especially in the
talical area.
You get into some hills, you get like into Arkansas, basically, and you get.
of those kind of hilly ranges.
And, you know, it's a perfect, it's a perfect habitat, I'd say, for those people,
or not for those people, for those beings.
Oh, more than you know, my friend.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Or you probably know.
Yeah.
Have you had weird stories come out of the Wachita Mountain region?
So we haven't heard many about that, about Wachita.
We hadn't really, you know, that's one thing that we get a lot of our stories.
you know from different you know basically you know we'd get them from different reservations
or people like we we did a little bit of a mini tour okay um in October we were in uh Pawnee
reservation uh we were supposed to hit Ponca we didn't hit Ponca it got canceled due to a family
death and we were supposed to be going uh all these different places and like say we were in
uh creek or Muskogee creek reservation and you know it's some pretty you know i've heard some pretty
interesting things that makes me think, you know, and, you know, who really knows, you know,
what's what sometimes.
That's fascinating.
Yohola, thank you so much for calling in and for sharing that.
That was an incredible story.
We're definitely going to keep in touch.
I would love to have a more extended chat with you one day on the actual podcast if you'd be
out for it.
That would be really cool.
Yeah, man.
Yeah, let me know.
Like I said, I'm pretty, we're all.
all pretty busy, but, you know, I would be out of all of us.
I would say I'm the, I'm the YouTube guy.
Everybody else kind of sticks to their, you know, they like, you know, so anytime, man,
I think you have my number now, correct?
Yeah, well, you got it.
Yeah, you got my number.
So you can text or whatever, you know.
Cool.
Thanks for calling you, Hola.
Have a great night.
You too, man.
Oh, man, that was cool.
Yeah, guys, Unsolved Mysteries of the Reservation is a really cool, uh, podcast.

Man, we're having a great night so far.
We're about halfway through the show.
We have had Josh call in talking about some weird Amish chair maneuvers that we weren't quite able to figure out scientifically.
but hey that's cool stuff.
We had Yehola call in from Unsolved Mysteries of the Reservation
talking about a shapeshifter tale report from Oklahoma.
Very cool stuff.
Amazing podcast those guys have.
They're very cool.

you need to say hi. So, crazy night so far, man. You know, I had some chicken from Casey's and I'm kind of,
I'm feeling it a little bit, you know. I know if a gas station chicken is the best idea,
but hey, it's your birthday, so why not? Matt's Tube says, speaking of Oklahoma, has anyone seen
Bigfootville, which came on the travel channel years back, was really good.
You know, I saw that the other day advertised somewhere, but I haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet.
So I'm going to check it out.
Okay, and let's see.
It always happens right before the whistle.
There's a little voice that says, what if I mess up?
What if I'm not ready?
I see a whole highlight reel of everything I don't want to happen.

The pizza is great, but sometimes the other stuff will get you.
So we got 18 people hanging out in the chat so far.
This is Strange Stories with Jeremiah Byron.
It's a call-in show that I do Tuesdays, Thursday, Sunday nights from 9 to 10 p.m.
Central Standard Time, live on YouTube and recorded for the podcast for Bigfoot Society.
And I also put episodes on Strange Stories with Jeremiah Byron podcast.
So if you do me a favor, look that up, look those both up on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Subscribe to those and rate them, please.
And also, holy mackerel.
We've got 21 people right now.
This is great.
What else was I got distracted by the chicken that is just destroying my emotional state right now?
Matt says never buy barbecue at gas station.
Joe Bob Briggs.
That's great.
So this is strange stories with Jeremiah Byron.
This is a call-in show.
I do three nights a week.
Oh, I was going to say this is the last one for this week.
there will not be one on Thursday because of travel stuff I have going on.
Sunday I will be at Crypticon still.
But make sure that you are subscribed to this channel.
Hit the bell icon because I'm going to potentially try to go live when I'm there.
I can't promise.
But yeah, I know, Mitzie.
That's why I'm a vegetarian brother.
Yeah, I know.
That's wise words.
That's wise word, wise words.
and Asher says of course Joe Bob knows his barbecue yes hail to the great Joe Bob
guys if you've got a story about something weird something strange in the neighborhood
you can go ahead and call on in to 515 809 oh 165 go ahead take a minute share this
and a message to a friend that has a story or something weird that happened to him or
you know hey you know a big group uh you know
know a live stream that might be going on and you know you go over there be like hey anyone has a weird
story you can go ahead and call this number 505809-0165 i'm not going to stop you you know i'm not
going to say uh that's a good that's hmm you know i try to stick with personal accounts but i've
never actually so how about this asher's if if it's a you know that's a little
tricky. Let's stick with to personal accounts because when it's an account for someone else and
you're telling it, I don't know. I kind of feel a little weird about, well, I don't know.
Let's say stick to personal for now. I'm going to think about that and I'll address that in a future
episode. Davis, okay, Davis is going. Davis says, I can't wait for Crypticon. I'm fired up to go there.
Oh, oh, okay.
You know what?
If you've got a story about injured cold,
I say go ahead.
It's the right time to call in depending, you know, I mean, why not?
It's November 15th.
It's Mothman Day.
I say go ahead, Asher's.
Let's rock and roll.
No one else is calling in right now.
So we got to keep it pumping, you know.
Guys, if you've got a story, you can go ahead and call on in.
515-809-0165.
This is Strange Stories with Jeremiah Byron.
You can share anything weird, strange, unknown, paranormal, Bigfoot-related, cryptid, mothman related.
Hey, if you know Bob Gimlin, go ahead, send him this number and say, hey, Mr. Gimlin, it's time to call in and share your story with Jeremiah.
That would be great.
Sorry if you just heard my water.
I hope you still listen.
Wink.
It's refreshing.
Let me make sure that.
All right.
We are on.
We have Do Not Disturb Off.
We are good to go.
We got 18 people hanging out in chat.
We got all sorts of peeps in here.
Some good times.
We are up to episode number 16.
Rutt Row.
Call from.
Asher.
To accept, press one.
To send a voicemail.
Press 2.
Hi, Asher's.
Hey, buddy.
Happy birthday.
Hey, pal.
Thanks so much.
This is live recorded and no cussing.
How's it going?
What is injured cuss one time?
Do you want me to tell that?
I don't know.
All right.
So this is actually perfect being November 15th.
And, you know,
everyone's getting into the Mothman stuff in West Virginia.
And so Alan was like,
kind of calling you out in the chat.
And he was like, hey, Asher's injured cold.
What do you think?
So what do you got?
Yeah, he was messaging me about it.
Oh, really?
He was like, you should tell that on Jeremiah's show.
And I'm like, okay.
I mean, if he wants me to talk about it, I do.
Yeah.
But I don't know.
I mean, I don't really, so far, I haven't met injured yet.
That's so weird to say.
I know and talk to you and have met Tanya Derenberger.
which is the closest thing that you can get to Enderick Cold.
So I don't have any personal accounts with them.
I don't know if Alan just wanted me to kind of go over the story.
If people want me to just kind of go over the story and what I know so far, that's up to you.
I would say let's go for it.
I personally am struggling to remember how long a tale it is.
I can do a short version of it.
Cool.
We don't want to give away the.
the book and the documentary and all that stuff too.
Sure, absolutely.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So on the night of, I guess, I'm guessing it was November 5th,
the days before this Moss Band sighting that was celebrating today happened,
Woodrow-Darandberger was driving home from work.
He was driving home from Marriott, Ohio,
to Mineral Wells, West Virginia's right there by Parkersburg.
And he was right there getting ready to hit Parkersburg when he was being trailed by some car.
And except it wasn't a car.
went up over his vehicle and went in front of him, and it stopped in the middle of the road.
It was some type of craft that looked like a lantern, like on its side.
So weird. It's such a weird shape.
You know, which, look it up if you have it.
We have a design that John McAd did for us of Endred that has that design.
It's odd compared to the UFOs.
Anyway, so the door opens up and a guy comes out, and lo and behold, it's just some guy.
It's just some regular guy.
and he approaches the vehicle that what he's in
and starts speaking to him telepathically.
And, you know, let him know, basically I'm not here
for any type of nefarious deals.
I'm just here, bang out at the party.
And anyway, so, you know, when he gets out of the car
because he injured instruction too,
and they kind of chit chat a little bit,
tells him my name's, my name's Indrid Cold,
and, you know, I'm from another planet or whatever,
and I'm just kind of curious about what you guys got going on here.
What's that?
he motions to like the city and he's like oh that's the city you know and he's like we call
that thing a rock and that thing grass or you know whatever they're just kind of making
chit-chat okay and anyway that's not the important part of the story um so what he leaves
and he goes home and uh tells his family all about this fantastical man that he met um they
they contacted police because they really didn't know what to make of it um you know what he was in
all kinds of dishevelment over it.
And, you know, from there, kind of it just exploded.
Not only did the police show up, the media showed up.
Not only did the police, the media showed up,
but people from Wright Patterson Air Force Base also showed up,
which was kind of strange.
But not really, considering, you know,
what we know about them and Project Blue Book and things like that.
Anyway, Ingrid told Woody that he would be back.
And so he did, as a matter of the United States.
matter of fact, over and over again, and they went on to have this lifelong friendship
together forever.
Woodger-Daronberger has since passed away, but his daughter, Tanya, the story lives
on through her because she says that injured, it's like Uncle Indrid, a family to her.
So they continue to speak, and, you know, it still comes in visits.
And, I mean, the details, there's times and times of shows that you guys can find out
about it on Wednesdays we talk weird.
But, you know, some of the more permanent.
the more important details of it is like, you know, Woody had been evaluated by a psychologist at some point who, you know, dubbed him as being sane.
But not only did he know that because of the vigorous testing that he put him through, he knew that because Endred actually came and spoke to him.
He met Endred.
Wow.
So, you know, he knows that he exists.
His wife, the mother of kids, Woody's wife, she divorced him, not because he was crazy, but because she couldn't take the media circuit.
Really?
I mean, they were getting harassing the time and she insisted until the day she died that,
yeah, injured's real, his family's real, they come home.
Oh, my goodness.
You know, so it is, it's not to say that the story doesn't have holes, all of these things,
of course, people from outer space, but will make much sense to us, little humans.
But yeah, that's the gist.
I've since, like I said, I sat down with Tanya, I've spoken with her numerous times.
I mean, we've gone over the story over again.
She shared little tidbits of information and things like that.
Something that she hasn't shared publicly yet.
You know, so I personally don't have any reason to not believe her story.
It seems very legitimate.
You know, she talks about things like just growing up with kind of a celebrity father
and everybody's thinking that you're nuts.
And I think that that's genuine when she talks about those things.
She really does put a lot of emphasis on it, you know.
and some people have questioned, well, maybe he was schizophrenic.
You know, in turn, Tanya, his daughter's schizophrenic.
Okay, maybe.
Except Tanya was adopted.
So, I mean, the chances have been both, you know,
having sometimes a middle illness that causes delusions.
Yeah.
That is really interesting.
So, yeah, I don't know.
People want to ask questions.
I don't know if anybody had any.
That's in, so that's cool because that's just enough to send
a person on a
rabbit trail
if they start looking into it
and then you don't you have an interview
with Tanya on on Wednesday
we talk weird
oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah and then
we covered it separately without her
and then yeah she came on the show and talked about it
so fantastic definitely something interesting
to look into I actually guest starred
with isn't it rabbit hole podcast
of four-part series on the Andrew Cold Story
and kind of had me as like, I don't want to say expert, but like had me at, you know, with my perspective on what it was saying.
But it's good.
So if you're going to listen to anything, listen to that.
But if you're going to listen to anything else, so on Wednesdays we talk weird.
I love it.
Now no one has the excuse of being bored because just in that statement, you've got enough rabbit trail content to go after.
And man, four episodes series, that's like astonishing.
Legends Patterson Gimlin series or Campfire Moth Man series.
You could put that in there now.
Yeah.
Like six part Moss Man stories.
But man, Asher's, good stuff.
Thank you for calling in.
And Sharon, the thing I love about this show is like in 20 years,
people are going to be listening to this.
And they're going to be like, oh, my goodness, he had Asher's on again.
Like, this is crazy.
Like the way that, you know, you listen to old school Art Bella.
episodes and like oh he's having like you know whitley striber on or whoever like it's just it's
going to i think it's going to blow people's minds in the future but uh thank you so much for
calling in i always appreciate it and um dude injured cold oh i love it
good stuff all right well i'll talk you this weekend i know it all right peace out
right bye love it we got
Logan is here, new listener. How's it going, Logan? Thank you.
Guys, we've got, we've had a crazy episode so far tonight. All sorts of crazy stuff.
We've been talking about Amish weirdness, shape shifter tales from Oklahoma. Asher's calling in talking about Indrid Cold and that whole tale.
And guys, if you've got a strange story to share something.
Unknown, paranormal, weird that happened to you.
Cryptid related, Bigfoot, big foot, all that good stuff.
You can call on right now, 515-809-0165.
We've got about 15 minutes left in the show.
This is the last show potentially until next week.
So if you got one that you're holding on to, call in right now.
Also, you can go ahead and share this.
If you know a person that has any good stories, go ahead, send him a message.
Say, hey, call into this guy.
He's doing a live calling show for weird stuff.
515-809-0165.
Excuse me.
And yeah, we're just kind of, we're hanging out here.
We got 17 people hanging out live.
We got 15 minutes left.
Let me make sure that I don't have any messages that came in real.
quick.
Sweet.
All right.
Yeah, Josh says,
wish someone could get a picture of Indrid.
Wouldn't that be weird?
That would be really weird.
I know there's plenty of different artistic interpretations.
And I believe most of them usually have like a really big smile,
which is an interesting,
an interesting feature.
It always happens right before the whistle.
There's a little voice that says,
what if I mess up?
What if I'm not ready?
I see a whole highlight reel of everything I don't want to happen.
Missed shots, turnovers, letting my team down.
And for a second, there's doubt.
But then I realize I've done enough to be where I'm at.
The early mornings, the extra reps, the days I wanted to quit and didn't.
So I smile.
Self-doubt is natural, but my smile is a reminder that I'm resilient.

All right, Mitzie, and you know, you guys can always, yeah, Mitzie, thank you.
You always can, you know, if you got a question for me in the downtime, I'll answer it.
Jeremiah, what presentation are you more excited for at Crypticon?
That's a good question, Mitzie.
I will tell you, when I saw that schedule lineup, I was excited because there's not just one that I can pick.
I'm excited definitely for, okay, Charlie Raymond, Kentucky Bigfoot researcher with KBRO.
that guy is phenomenal.
I'm excited to hear him talk.
I'm excited to hear Mark Mersell talk, holding macro.
Go back and listen to my interviews with Mark Mersell, the gentleman who discovered Ape Canyon, crazy.
Excuse me.
Also, Matt Pruitt is going to be a fantastic presentation.
Literally, you know, I was love.
looking at the schedule. And there weren't any that I was like, oh, this is going to be terrible. Like, it's a stacked, stacked presentation schedule. I will have to say, though, Mitzie, at the end of the day, just because I am a super STM small town monsters fanboy, I am really excited to hear that there's an STM panel.
on on Saturday evening super excited for that and it sounds like they've got they said they've got
a few surprises in it so very cool stuff I'm excited one to meet everyone I from STM I mean they're
they're one of the main sponsors them in Metazoo so I'm excited to to meet the whole gang
finally I've met Eli I've I've met Alex
And those two guys, my goodness, stand up gentlemen, showed them the town of Van Meter when they were going through Iowa to travel out to Colorado for one of the beyond the trail last year.
Guys, while we're waiting, we have about 13 minutes until the end of the episodes.
If you got a story, feel free to call on in 515, 809, 0165.
I will tell you real quick, I was able to, I did get access to a screener of an upcoming episode of Beyond the Trail from Alex.
The, yeah, the coastal Bigfoot, it's, guys, it is.
is so good.
That episode,
oh my goodness.
My favorite one used to be,
Greg,
I just saw your question.
I'll address that in a minute.
My favorite episode for Beyond the Trail used to be
Bigfoot at Bluff Creek.
This coastal Bigfoot
coming out is now
my top
STM
Beyond the Trail episode.
It's an hour and a half.
It's nuts.
It is everything that in Alaska Bigfoot Expedition show should be and that you've wished it would be.
And I will stay.
I'll stop right there.
Greg says, is awesome sharing a birthday with the macho man?
It absolutely is.
And it's crazy that I've almost gotten to this point in life.
And I didn't know that I shared a birthday with macho man.
That alone is probably the craziest part.
But it's like it's kind of inspirational in a way to know that, you know, no matter how I'm feeling, I shared a birthday with macho man Randy Savage.
And the cream rises to the top, just like macho man would say.
Guys, we got about 10 minutes left.
If you've got a story to share, you can go ahead call on in to 515-809-0165.
Strange Stories with Jeremiah Byron.
If you got any stories about Bigfoot, cryptids, weird stuff, strange stuff, paranormal, anything you can't explain, or if you know someone who has access or who has a story to that, story of that.
Going crazy.
Calling in.
515809-0165.
We're having a great night.
Remember one, number one listen is don't eat chicken from castations because it will really alter your state of comprehension in a bad way.
and yeah, not a good time.
So remember kids,
make wise choices when you eat stuff.
Oh my goodness.
It's so wild, so wild right now.
Appreciate you all being here.
What else?
I'm excited.
Oh, my goodness.
I looked at a vendor map of CryptiCon the other day.
And the people that are going to be there, this blew my mind.
You know, we got Joe Perdue.
His guys are going to, you know, he's going to be there.
And the stuff, holy snikis, his stuff that he's going to have on display, I mean, I'm so excited to see it live.
Not on the internet, just to see it and to be able to touch it.
Keep on creeping on is going to be there.
I am just so blown away to be able to meet her to see her stuff.
We got Mapping Black, Jeff Craig.
I met him at Van Meter Visitor Festival.
And Jeff does such a good job.
We got Strangeology.
Pump for that.
And I know I'm going to miss people.
But man, it's just a stacked lineup in the vendors, in the vendors.
tables. Asher's is completely right. That gas station chicken is really haunting you. It's probably the scariest
strange story of all tonight is the story of Jeremiah and his gas station chicken encounter. Actually,
the episode before this, no, that was ghost cats. Sorry, I thought it was ghost chickens. Maybe
I'm the guy with the ghost chickens. Um, Matt says, Jeremiah,
you're going to air some footage of you at Crypticon.
I'm not I'm not sure if I understand that question.
If the question is, are you going to go live?
I'm going to try to, but I can't make any promises.
If the question is, I'm actually going to air stuff there.
I'm just going as a tender.
You know, I wanted to have that experience.
where, you know, I'm going to experience the lectures, network with people, meet people.
So I'm not vending.
I just want to have that experience, you know, personally.
And I meet a lot of people.
And it's hard to do that when you are vending, I found.
Okay.
Dave says, Hodag is landed in Kentucky already.
See you soon.
Hodag.
Save some Hodag root beer for.
me because I know you got some.
I'm excited for the Hode.
Oh, my.
The Hodeg store is where it's at.
Josh has some kind words.
Your presentation about the Iowa Bigfoot Center is great.
You did some serious digging on that.
The story that's been shared so far is wild in itself.
I'm going to keep it at that.
But thank you.
I appreciate that.
The presentation, I put a lot of blood,
sweat and tears, three months of preparation into that.
That story is still developing and it's blowing my mind and I really can't comment on it right now.
Let's see.
Matt Stub says stay away from the chicken.
I will, my friend.
Oh, my goodness, this chicken thing is going to turn into something.
Dave, Jeremiah, I need some of the Hodei root beer that eases chicken issues.
I really do.
Um, see, Alan says, watch the show the other day.
Uh, they were talking about sheep squatch.
Does anyone have any opinion on you know?
Alan, I have, I don't have a lot of opinions on sheep squatch, but I know that all bets are off when it comes to West Virginia.
Um, honestly, I don't, I don't put it past anything for West Virginia.
Uh, that state.
Oh my goodness.
It's me shaking my fist into the heavens at the chicken that has betrayed me.
Sheep Squatch, I'm not against it.
I'm definitely for it.
I definitely want to think it's, it's, you know, some kind of furry, hugable, fuzzy, white bigfoot.
Asher says, Jeremiah's got 99 problems and the chicken is one.
The chicken is probably more than one right now, Asher's.
probably closer than 99.
Mitsy says, I like the idea of a bat squatch,
but I don't know about the sheep squatch.
Yeah, it makes for a great, a fuzzy animal idea.
You know, kind of just snuggle up to it.
Guys, we've had a great show tonight.
Kind of had an impromptu Q&A at the end.
Send good vibes my way.
I'll be traveling from
be traveling over
from Iowa to Lexington, Kentucky.
If you're listening to this
or you're listening to the replay on YouTube,
you go to Crypticcon.com,
you can still get your tickets
for the
two-day event.
That's going to start early Saturday.
It'll go on the Sunday.
there'll be plenty of amazing cryptidiology themed and paranormal themed speakers
Matt Pruitt, Cliff Berkman, Mark Mercell, Ben Hanson, who's a UFO guy, also cryptic guy,
Dr. Moray Amayor, the Mountain Monster guys will be there, all the whole crew, which is pretty,
pretty big deal.
All the, you know, the Medisoo guys are going to be there.
So if you're in a metazo, Medizu, this is the thing.
They might have, I don't know.
I think they usually have, you know, special cards you can pick up there.
So you want to check that out.
Our friends from us, small town monsters are going to be there.
Of course, they're really getting into it this year.
The word on the street is they may have props from movies.
I don't know.
All your favorite cryptid vendors are going to be there that you know on Etsy and Instagram.
Do not come with less than $5,000.
I'm just kidding.
But you need to have money when you're there because there's going to be some exclusive stuff, some crazy stuff.
But guys, this has been a fun chat tonight.
