You're listening to Bigfoot Society and I'm Jeremiah Byron.
In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring you first-hand encounters from people who say they've seen something impossible.
From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to quiet farms and crowded highways, the stories come from everywhere.
And each one leaves us with more questions than answers.
These are the voices of the people who've lived it.
So settle in because today you'll hear another account that just might change the way.
you see the woods forever.
So stay with us.
All right, Bigfoot Society.
You've got the privilege of talking to Jason Cowan today.
Jason is an individual that I got connected to that has some things to share from down there in the Oklahoma area.
We'll go over that a little bit and more to come.
But about Jason specifically, he has a background in public school education.
and also in Christian ministry specifically as a youth pastor, correct, Jason?
That's correct.
Awesome.
And is there anything else that the listeners might want to know before we get going into what you've experienced over the years?
That's pretty much yet.
I mean, you know, part of my religious beliefs, the things I've experienced should never have
happened. And once you experience it, you have a paradigm shift and you have just a few seconds to
decide, hey, your thoughts and your beliefs have to change and can kind of make you dizzy when that
happens. Man, that's a great place to start. I actually want to talk about that from it. So are you
cool with saying the area that this happened into in Oklahoma?
Absolutely. Absolutely. I'm, you know, quite certain that others have had experiences in that area. The Native Americans, you know, we were part of a ministry that, you know, besides youth ministry, I got into mission work and that the home that we live in there served as a mission base for many years where volunteer teams would come from all of the country and they would.
would bunk there and have their meals and their devotions and they would go and serve the Cherokee
nation people at their public schools and in their local churches. So we got to know the Native American
fellowship there quite well. And we've heard stories that go way back where they
hunted with Bigfoot and would trade with Bigfoot for.
protection and to protect from the bears and the wolves and the coyotes and I'm pretty sure maybe
from Bigfoot himself.
Right.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Here's some food.
Don't eat us.
They speak highly of, and of course very reverently of Bigfoot.
Absolutely.
And it's something very special to them.
So this is, we're going to be in an area that's near the Cherokee Nation, specifically
in the area of like Kansas, Oklahoma, correct?
That's correct.
The town of Kansas, probably the biggest town would be Talaquah on the Oklahoma side.
And then we have Siloam Springs, Arkansas, about 13 miles from us.
Fantastic.
Before we get into it, right off the bat, I think the first statement that you made is extremely interesting because
so I am also
I'm a Christian myself
and I know exactly what you're talking about
when you're saying that there are certain parts
of Christianity where
they don't really want to dig into this
and deal with this at all
and can you
in your words can you
go into what you mean
by what you said
during those statements
so
I think it's, you know, in the scriptures that we have available to us in the Bible, it mentions
many things that is really never touched on in sermons and in services that I've been involved
in. It's like at No Zone, an area that they can't really explain. And yet, you know, if you look at
other historical texts and you combine all of those things, it begins to make sense.
You know, they talk about the giants and the fires in the sky and the wheels, you know,
many things that indicate that we are not, you know, the human race is not the only
species that exists.
And to
avoid that
I think is doing a
huge disadvantage
to Christians and
non-Christians alike.
We are, I believe, special
in the creation, the order of things
in that
we have the likeness of our creator
and his spirit in us. I'm not saying that
all others don't, but I believe that
there was something special about us that we
kind of never touch on
when we ignore the fact that there are other
aspects of creation that, in particular, the
big foot, where they're finding
the DNA is very similar to ours with a few exceptions.
And so, you know, who's to say that they don't have the same type of relationship with the creator?
If not, maybe even a closer one because they didn't allow for certain things to change their spirituality, if you will.
I'll get on later on into the discussion about some things that make me believe that that case, that they are spiritual as well.
And so, yeah, that's my pastor.
He's deceased now, but he was a rare breed in the sense that he spoke about the possibilities of our creation being.
of an extraterrestrial being and spoke of UFOs being very likely impossible.
And so, you know, that kept my mind open a little bit, if you would, to in that regard.
He never really mentioned Bigfoot or, you know, the other creatures of the night, the dog man and so forth.
And it's very likely that the encounters I've had involved both, if not the Skinwalker guy.
I don't think has been something that I've experienced.
But there's lots of the cryptids that we hear about that I now today, after my experiences,
there's no reason I should doubt those who have spoken of their experiences in all of those areas.
Absolutely.
There's just too many to say, hey, that's not right or it's not true.
I mean, I can't imagine being in a state like Oklahoma and being in ministry and the things you must run into, it's got to be intense.
I mean, there's just so many stories I've heard over the years of everything from,
big foot to dog man and all sorts of weirdness so you must be really up against it all the time
i would imagine yeah yeah well it's it's you know i don't speak about it to everyone but uh um you know
i'm getting to the point you know i i really don't care what anyone thinks about me particularly
you know i'm a kind person i'm good to people i i follow um the the word of the lord as far as
how I treat people and and but if they want to think I'm crazy because of some experiences I've
had so be it it's not going to change anything that I believe and and it's certainly not going to
take away the experiences that I've had and and most of the encounters have been it's
sometimes fearful but never did I feel like I was in danger okay and so
So, you know, I don't believe that Bigfoot is evil or a demon and some of those Christian circles that would acknowledge the existence would say that.
And I just don't believe that at all.
Yeah, I would say, I mean, most of the interviews where the individual is in Christianity, I would say a great amount of them.
It usually comes over to Bigfoot as some type of nephalum or perhaps demon.
And so I think this will be a really interesting interview because it's going to be a viewpoint that's not really talked about a lot.
And before we get into it, more from my context, do you associate more with a certain denomination within Christianity or?
So it's a non-denomination, you know, assembly of God.
I've got that in a Baptist background, a little bit of Pentecostal.
And so, but my primary area was in a non-denominational church and Spirit Field, as they called it.
Okay.
That's awesome.
Not anything more special, I would say, but certainly an area that I was raised up in.
and I got to experience a lot of the different denominations,
but that's the one that kind of stuck with me.
Gotcha.
Yeah, okay, okay, that's good to know.
I think that helps out a lot for context, for some listeners.
Well, Jason, I think that's a great kind of intro into things,
but you feel free to take us back to when things started kicking off
for you when you started to maybe notice what was going on.
Sure. So when it comes to, you know, just Bigfoot in general, my first introduction as a child
to Bigfoot, maybe even for a lot of people my age, I was born in 1977. And so there was a time
when I was young that this movie came out called Harry and the Henderson's. And before that, I'd never
heard of my parents didn't speak about Bigfoot you know it wasn't stories that we
heard growing up and so my impression of a Bigfoot of course at that time I
we wanted to believe he was real and so me and my siblings would talk about it
and talk about one day seeing a Bigfoot because we believed he would be like
the one on Harry and the Henderson's real funny and caring and
and jolly at times and and harmless and uh but there was nothing really that you know solidified
our belief my belief in particular um at that time just the curiosity was aroused by by that and growing
up it was just something to the back of my head um at times and then we would i would see documentaries
you know on TV and one in particular was the first where I begin to become more
seriously interested was hearing about the muddy boggy creature and and but
that wasn't a that was more of a frightening tale and that he was dangerous and
and that wasn't you know something that
that I stuck with.
My first introduction was, like I said, Harry from Harry and the Henderson's,
and I wanted to believe if he was real, he would be more like that.
But my belief really became solidified,
and it wasn't even an encounter with Bigfoot necessarily.
My mother and I were standing on her porch outside,
and I happened to notice, because at the time I was living in the city,
and when I would go to the country,
I could see the stars a lot easier.
They're much brighter and more vivid.
And I pointed out to her, I said,
look how bright and brilliant everything is.
And I saw amongst the stars way, way up there,
this would appear to be a star.
I mean, from that distance, it looked like a star,
but it went from one point and zigzagged,
back and forth on a dime what must have been thousands of miles an hour and then shot off like like a
I mean it just disappeared you could I I saw it go a certain direction but then it vanished and
immediately everything I believed everything I was taught came into question and it's like
an instance where all of your beliefs suddenly you have no option but to change what you believed.
And I became warm and kind of dizzy. It's like the paradigm shift where you just have no choice,
but to call into question now and have certain things where you acknowledge, I've got to start
looking into some things.
Agents who are realtors do more than open doors.
They analyze market trends, interest rates, comps.
They can tell you about flood zones, mixed use zones, and decode acronyms like
HOA, APR, MLS.
They connect you to lawyers, contractors, even Phil, the Sewardcope guy.
They negotiate, coordinate, advocate for you, close the deal with you, and hand the keys to
you.
They bring you home.

That's why Skinny Popcorn keeps it light, airy and endlessly delicious.

Kini Pop, popular for a reason.
I looked at my mother and I said, did you see that?
And she says, you tell me what you saw.
Neither one of us, we wanted to see, hey, did you see what I saw?
And we both saw it.
And it was at that moment, I realized that everything that I've heard about all these other sightings,
from Bigfoot to the Loch Ness Monster and all of these cryptids that,
I now, it was like it solidified my belief in those.
And they had to be real.
If this was real, then all of these people can't be wrong.
And we'll get to now the Bigfoot encounter.
This began shortly.
So where we live, like I said, it was part of the Cherokee Nation.
They owned this land.
And then they sold it to a developer, I think, in the 70s.
And so there are a lot of, you know, from arrowheads and different artifacts that I was finding just below the surface on our land there.
And so I began to excavate the property from time to time, and it would carry on until the evenings, about 9, 10 o'clock.
and I'd have these very bright lights on.
And before that, we didn't stay at the property.
We had multiple base locations around the country and in Puerto Rico and in Cuba,
where we would take teams of volunteers.
And so these properties, they weren't lived in all the time.
And so there's maybe three months out of the year where it was used.
Well, we were now staying there full time.
And we had neighbors behind us, but that was kind of their camp house.
They were hardly there, maybe twice a year.
And so it was really a zone where people weren't around much of the time.
And so I believe that that is why when we moved in full time and I began to do some work on the grounds
and it would carry on to the night that it created disturbance, you know, for big.
And at this moment, I had no inkling that they were around, at least up there.
But a few nights after I had a few late nights, 9 and 10 o'clock at night, rocks started being thrown from the woods.
Now, we have neighbors, but they are maybe a quarter mile away on another road.
in each direction.
We have neighbors on our road, but they're further down.
But they were coming from a part of the wooded area that nobody lived and nobody was at.
But I thought, well, maybe there's somebody that's pranking me.
But I began to notice they were with accuracy.
I mean, I knew that if they wanted to hit me with these rocks, they would have.
They could have.
That's the feeling I got.
I didn't feel frightened necessarily, although there were times I felt like I was being watched.
I would hear things coming from the woods.
Now, there are a lot of deer, and so I always put it off on, you know, that's probably what it was many times.
And I always tried to, you know, rule things out.
And if something is real, I wanted to make sure.
I wanted to rule everything out as much as possible.
And so, but these rocks kept being thrown.
And this went on for a couple of weeks, even after I turned off the lights and was finished with what I was doing.
And I became angry, and I began to shout out to whoever was throwing these stones.
said, look, if you're going to throw rocks at me, next time you better hit me.
It started off kind of light and funny, but at that point, it was like, this is no game,
because they were being thrown with force. And I kept telling my, he was my boss at the time,
and then I became his caretaker. He retired, and the mission work ceased. And so I talked,
told him about it, but he hadn't experienced anything.
One night we were outside, and I was cooking on the grill,
and this was outside on a deck area that is exposed.
And out of nowhere, here comes the rock, and it was thrown at him,
and landed right next to his feet.
And it was probably three inches in diameter, pretty good size.
And I said, see, I told you, somebody.
or something has been thrown rocks.
And when we look, I said, who or what could it be?
And it was interesting because it was like at the same exact time we both had,
I don't know if it was telepathy or what, but we both said Bigfoot.
And from that moment on, it was like we had some kind of connection.
And things begin to increase.
And so there were times just out of nowhere
I would be working in the shop and would walk out.
I was also working on an RV.
And I would hear these deep guttural growls.
Sometimes it would be hisses, noises I've never heard before.
I became familiar with the different sounds of the night
coming from the woods out there.
And these were things that sent shields down my spine.
Again, I never felt like I was in danger,
but I felt like I was interrupting something,
and I should go inside.
And I later came to believe that that was their hunting time.
And I was potentially scaring off their food.
And so, you know, there were other times,
where, and this went on, it's like seasonal, if that makes sense at all.
It's almost as though they would travel through that area.
And I also believe at some point there was a family of them who would travel.
And we had the sense, and we never have seen them.
We've never visually seen the Sasquatch.
but we knew as we began to research and look into people's encounters and experiences
that we were having the same experiences and encounters that they were having.
From the sounds we would hear, I mean, at times the entire house would shake,
like a giant stomping through the grounds.
and then occasionally
like somebody would
would be speaking outside
the walls but not in
English
I mean and very clearly it was
chatter some form of communication
at
at times
we've heard our names being called
and
it wasn't clear English
but you know
know, we would be out, you know, working on the property and we would call to each other,
you know, hey, bring me this tool or, hey, what your status on this, and we would use
name, our names. And we thought, well, who's out there that's calling our name? And my friend,
my roommate, he heard as he came out of his side of the housing there.
He said it was a hello, but not, again, not in plain English,
but it was like somebody trying to speak English.
And it was clear enough he heard hello, but, you know, he was like me.
He would just get the feeling of just go inside.
And again, he never felt like we were in danger, but there was that sense of fear.
You know, you would get chills up and down your spine.
And many times it would begin with the smell of a skunk mixed with a wet dog.
But you would have no activity.
You would just smell that, I mean, heavily in the area.
And so, you know, that was some of the more tangible, if you will, experiences that we've had,
that I've had especially, I spent most of the time outside in the summer and in the spring and early fall.
And a lot of these things were the more physical side of my experiences.
And then one night in particular, it was a late night I was re-flooring my RV.
and was working in the bathroom area.
And those windows in the bathroom are pretty high up in my RV.
I would say 11 feet off the ground.
And I heard it sound like somebody ran by and slapped the side of the RV.
And I thought, well, they had to jump pretty high.
And so I run outside to see what,
who it was and there's nobody there. I didn't hear any footsteps running from the scene.
But it was at that moment, this would be the first experience where I became frozen.
And I had my phone in my pocket, but it was like I couldn't, if I really, really wanted to,
I think I could have moved to reach for my phone, to make a call, to call for help.
but I didn't feel like I was in danger.
It was like I was put in a trance and a very mystical feeling came over me.
It wasn't long, maybe 15, 20 minutes.
And finally, I thought, and I really need to come out of this.
I need to make myself come out of this.
And I texted my former boss, my roommate, man, I was being caretaker for.
And I said, I need you to come out here.
I'm kind of stuck.
And so he came out and grabbed my arm and helped me up the stairs.
And it wasn't like I was disabled or completely not able to function,
but it was just a mesmerizing experience.
and that was really the first,
what I would call like a spiritual or a,
I mean, it's hard to explain.
And I didn't really relate that to being Bigfoot.
In fact, it wasn't until about a year later
where I began to hear the telepathy side of things.
But I had other experience.
that were very spiritual.
And I would almost say that Bigfoot had, you know, and other things in that area,
rather that ground was a religious ground or a place where they did conducted ceremonies,
whether it be the Native Americans at the time or even well beyond that,
where it became very mystical and I was very peaceful.
The air was filled with electricity and the sounds of the forests were just filled with energy.
And you could see, I saw, I wouldn't say shadow people.
But I saw images coming out of the forest, but they were like silhouettes.
And all of these images came out and they were there surrounding the area having the same experiences.
And I had, in fact, this went on for about two hours.
And it was about one in the morning when everything subsided.
And I said out loud, I said, thank you for all.
allowing me to be part of this ritual. I mean, it was, yeah, it was like I, without ever hearing
about anything like that, it's like I sensed that that was what was taking place and either it was
connected to Bigfoot, but I always had that sense that he was connected. They were, they were
connected to those things. And I had that experience multiple times and that generally happened in
the summer, summer days. And those I will never forget and, and feel very privileged.
Because, you know, in the Christian world having, you know, where the quotes, the spirit moves
in those services, those were always the good services. And this was like the creator was part of it.
Like, it wasn't the same, but it wasn't different. It was, you know, it was, you know, it was,
It was more of nature involved in this, in the worship, if you will, of creation, of the creator, and a oneness, a unification of everything.
And it was almost a sense of that that is a very, very real spiritual experiences without all of the denominational.
attachments and preconceived teachings of what it's supposed to be. I had something that was
very, um, um, puts the term not generic, organic, if you will, because I wasn't expecting that.
Um, it just began. Agents who are realtors do more than open doors. They analyze market trends,

And I chose to stay.
I felt like, hey, we want you to be a part of something,
is what it was.
And so I consider myself, if that is what it was,
I consider myself very, very fortunate and somewhat unworthy of having that encounter,
having that experience because it showed me a side of things that,
you know, God, the creator, is much bigger.
his camp is much bigger than what we we believe it to be and is is much more real than in the
preconceived religious services that we as people have come to know as as true and so not
saying that it's not real or true but there's just much more than we don't know and it's because
we aren't taught and told of these things that are in scripture that really should be dealt with.
And some, you know, the churches need to acknowledge those things, I think.
And so there are other experiences that we've had in particular.
I had a friend over, and I've been telling him about some things taking place.
He lives in the same area just outside of the gates.
And he was assisted me with some repairs to the engine of my RV.
And I said, watch this.
And I'd never done this before, but I had heard of the wood knocks.
So I picked up a big, big large branch that was laying there on the ground.
And I slapped a tree with it twice.
And I really wasn't expecting anything.
I just wanted to, I thought maybe somewhere in the distance we would hear wood knock.
And probably with 20 yards from us, what was a very large guttural growl.
And that I did sense fear.
It was like the wood knock was probably something I shouldn't have done.
I don't know what it is communication-wise, if it was good or bad.
I just had heard about it on these shows.
and my friend left immediately and has never been back.
And so he says, that wasn't, I have a very bad feeling, he said.
And but he believes me now that these things have been going on.
And the very next night, I thought, you know, whatever, if I offended them with that,
I don't want them to be offended or feel threatened or anything of that nature.
And so I made a peace offering and I cooked on the grill a couple of steaks.
And I walked them down toward that area.
I was going to hang them from a branch on one of the trees was really my intention.
And before I was able to do that, I heard.
and it was much, much stronger than I could have ever attempted.
It had to be a much larger branch.
But it was two wood knocks that came from that general area.
And, of course, I froze in my steps.
I said, okay, I won't come any closer.
And I just threw those stakes that direction, turn around, and walk back up to the house.
And it's interesting.
They have a way of putting that sense of fear.
but for me it was not a sense of deadly fear it was it was just a warning hey
don't come any closer you know you're interrupting is is what it felt like
but I didn't feel like it hated me or wanted to to harm me it was just a
sense of you're messing up what we have going on here and I really believe it
It was a matter of that's the time they hunt.
And as humans, we have the daylight hours, and they get the nighttime hours.
And so the few other things that we've experienced are these orbs.
And this is not just myself, but other visitors that have been there.
These blue orbs that go through the woods and just slowly move about.
It's around that same time when we would have these other experiences.
Things disappearing and reappearing.
UFO sightings.
Again, I turned my eyes to the sky at some point and begin to notice these fast-moving objects
and zipping across the sky up there.
And the other last thing to touch on, lots and lots.
and lots of paranormal activity.
Of course, I come to expect that that is more likely related to the fact that lots of people
live lives many years ago in the Native Americans due to the fact that there were lots of battles
that took place and lots of slaughtering that took place in that area.
and the paranormal
activity
I also attributed to
that experience, that very spiritual experience
because it wasn't
just a bigfoot thing, I believe.
It was also those souls
that would come back
almost seasonally
and have these religious ceremonies,
if you will.
And these things are reoccurring.
Now, we have now neighbors behind us,
where it was maybe twice a year.
Now we have full-time neighbors.
So a lot of the physical activity has subsided,
but we still smell the smells,
we still feel the feelings, and we respect.
We have a lot of respect for Sasquatch
and the creatures that live.
the creatures that live in the area.
At one point, we put up cameras to try to capture them.
And I thought, you know what?
That's the last thing we need to do is drum up a lot of attention where they could be hunted.
And so, you know, we just left it at that and decided we want to be peaceful, cooperative neighbors.
And so that's kind of the story of it all.
And, you know, I've asked him not to show himself to me.
I now know that based on others' experiences, you can speak with your mind to them, and they can hear you.
And if that's the case, I've told them many times, I'm not ready yet to see you, but one day I would like to see you.
I'll let you know when I'm ready.
Right now, I think I would mess my pants.
and it wouldn't be a good thing.
But other than that, that has been my experience,
and I'm looking forward to more of them.
I'm very intrigued and would like to at some point.
I don't want to go hunting for Bigfoot,
but I do know that if you,
are open to him and just pay attention a little closer,
you might see signs, especially if you live in an area
that he has a potential big foot spot.
And so that pretty much, I'm sure there were other incidents
that took place that kind of weave in and out.
But I wanted to point out the bigger, more
memorable ones to you.
Jason, that's really, really interesting stuff.
I don't think I've ever had anyone from, I guess you could say Christianity side,
even come close to describing stuff like that.
It's really interesting because I want to make sure I even heard it right,
because pretty much you were saying that like when you have like a church service and the Holy Spirit is really moving and some of the listeners will get this where you can tell like the Holy Spirit is there right right right you're saying that pretty much the same thing happened in this area out in the woods with the Bigfoot activity in a way
yes yes um okay very very peaceful yeah very energetic and it was like all of nature was silent
but humming it was like a buzz of excitement um and oh yeah i get that it was like i didn't want it to stop
but it was like it had its beginning and then it had its conclusion and it lasted for a couple of hours
and I kept telling that my friend Mick, I said, you know, this is happening.
And I would, he would do it.
Well, next time it happens, come in and let me know.
I said, well, when it happens, I kind of don't want to leave.
And so one night I was able to, hey, come on out.
If you want to, it's happening now.
And so he stood out there with me for about 45 minutes and experienced that with me.
and and so it was both nice that somebody else got to be a part of that,
but also confirmed that what I was experiencing wasn't just in my mind.
It wasn't just, I wasn't in need of a straight jacket and put in a padded room,
which, you know, the first time I thought, am I going crazy here?
And I'm sure everybody, the first thing they think is, oh, I might need some help.
But when you have others, you know, especially somebody that is having some of these experiences along with you,
and then you have guests who, like many times, I wouldn't bring it up, but they would say,
I feel like somebody is watching me and it's coming from this direction.
I just, I keep looking over here.
One of them said, my attention keeps getting drawn to that area over there.
And I said, well, interestingly enough, and I dive into it.
And it's just the feeling.
It's very, very real.
And without ever seeing him physically, he lets you know he's there.
and I say he because the dominant one, the male figure,
and we have since decided the two of us that there's a male and a female and a young one.
And the young one is the one that kind of likes to play tricks on us.
He has fun.
He has a good time with this.
And we'll hear, you know, like one minute he'll be at the front point.
part of the property, the next minute he's the backside of the property.
And really before I knew it was going on, I would go through the house and I said,
well, now whatever it is is in the back side of the house.
And rocks would be thrown.
And then it started coming from the front side.
And he'd have me going through the house back and forth.
And I'd never see anything, but I believe that that was a young Sasquatch that he was being
allowed to play games with this.
and have a good time at it.
And of course, at the time, we were, we thought maybe it was a person,
but no one can move that fast, and especially that fast without being detected and seen.
We had very bright lights that we could use, and it was like avoiding those lights very easily.
and so
but the more
dominant feeling
we would
we would sense that that was
the male Sasquatch, the father
or grandfather
a very very
you know
more serious one
if you will
and then at times we would feel
that
we were just being watched and I think that possibly was a female Sasquatch,
just observing from the distance and never felt a threat.
In fact, many times since I would be outside and I would just talk out loud and say,
hi, how are you doing?
You're welcome here.
Thank you for not making me afraid.
I'm not here to disturb you.
I'm not here to harm you.
I'm just doing some work and I would just continue with my work.
But other times, and I believe again, he was hunting where I felt immediately the need to go inside and shut down what I was doing.
And so I would.
It's not out of respect.
And so, yeah, very spiritual in those occasions.
And unlike anything that I'd ever experienced at church, that's for sure.
Agents who are Realtors do more than open doors.
They analyze market trends, interest rates, comps.
They can tell you about flood zones, mixed use zones, and decode acronyms like HOA, APR, MLS.
They connect you to lawyers, contractors, even Phil, the Sewardcope guy.
They negotiate, coordinate, advocate for you, close the deal with you, and hand the keys to you.
They bring you home.
Realtor's are members of the National Association of Realtors, right by you.

For sure.
Wow.
You've mentioned telepathy a few times.
Do you feel like there's been a time when there's been a back-and-forth communication at all?
So I would send down messages just with my thoughts, and I would get responses in feelings, if that makes sense.
It was never that I heard a voice in my head, but it would respond in a feeling.
It would send a feeling into me.
And he let me know that he wasn't there to hurt us, but that, you know, he didn't want us around at times.
He didn't want us out there.
And, you know, I just assumed, you know, and the feeling was, again, I could say that it easily
was something that I came up with or it was a feeling he gave me and communicating that this
is my hunting time. This is the time where we we collect food. And I didn't want to be any part of
that food. And so I certainly obliged and would call it a night and go inside and do whatever I need
to do there. And so it was never, never anything that was like a voice that I heard. And I'm not sure
if that's how telepathy works or if you, you know, that was something that was new to me. And so I've
heard some people say they heard a voice and other people are feeling. And certainly how I received
the messages was through a feeling and unction. I definitely understand that. Would you say,
I'll ask it this way.
Have there been individuals in this same area that have had visual sightings of something?
Yes.
Many of the Native in the fellowship that we worked with, the individuals would tell of sighting.
They were very cautious.
You know, it was something they didn't speak of much.
and but you know occasionally I would get one of them to because I would ask you know we're having these
experiences and we we we not only believe we just kind of know it's it's a Sasquatch what are
the stories what can you tell us and they would tell us of whether they saw it personally or if it
was you know a sibling or a grandparent and it's like a common
knowledge of those in the area. Now, we do have some people that live in that area that have
those cut out images of Saskatch, those large metal silhouettes, and have stopped by and left
notes, hey, does this mean that there's Bigfoot activity that you're experiencing?
and they never responded,
but we believe there is a,
you know, at least a few in our area
who are willing to talk about it,
but most of them are Native American folks,
and that our neighbors,
anytime, the new ones especially,
we kind of hinted at the cause that,
you know, where you live now is
the direction where we've had some experiences, at least the rocks being thrown and the
noises and such, and that there could be Bigfoot and they laugh it off. It's not that they
mock us over it or shun us, but none of our immediate neighbors have told us of any
encounters. This is, it's extremely interesting. What would
you say is the most recent that you've experienced any of the activity that we've gone over so far?
So a lot of the activity now is because of now full-time neighbors directly behind us where most of, in fact, I sent a photo to you of a small tree that at some point had to have been attached.
The tip of it was bent over and attached to the ground.
and you know I examined how that happened or had to consider I don't even know what it is
but I had the sense that and other figure you know were tree limbs and and entire trees were
laid upon each other it wasn't Mother Nature but you know a lot of the activity has
now come to the smell of a wet dog and skunk combination.
And so when we, and occasionally the telepathy, if you will, letting us know that they're
there.
And sometimes, in fact, I think one of the first connections that we made was through a Facebook
messenger group where I had posted.
a sound.
There were coyotes doing their thing,
and then there was another sound.
And some that heard that,
I sent that recording that I made
and shared it with the group.
And somebody mentioned that that sounded like a dog man.
And they said it was definitely not the coyotes.
But we will hear that in the distance.
And so I think now that there's full-time neighbors back there where there was not before, he may go around.
They may travel around that area, but they're still there.
This was probably three months ago when we had the scent.
And so, you know, we just acknowledge and say hello.
in our minds.
And I told my friend Dr. Micah said,
you know, you don't have to speak out loud.
I believe they can hear your thoughts.
So you can communicate with them,
especially if you don't want the neighbor to hear you talking to somebody that's not there.
It's okay to say hello in your mind and acknowledge that they're there
and that you still mean peace with them and no harm.
And so we have since removed cameras, but still very real presence in the area.
I mean, this is, again, 6,500 acres.
And of that, there may be 200 properties.
And then maybe of that 50 to 75 that live there full time.
Wow.
And so there's lots of area that, in fact, many,
lots that have no
structures and nobody
owns them. It's just
a very, very thick wooded area. So there's still
lots of areas that they can roam and travel.
And again, there's a few
smaller lakes in the area, but their primary
I believe area of
getting water and food is down by the
Illinois River. And about seven miles of that
comes through this private area, this POA.
And in fact, they take, if you're a member of the POA,
you're allowed and able to float that area for free.
In fact, they have canoes and rafts that will take you to a start point,
a drop-off point, and then meet you at the end of it and take you back to your car.
And that goes right through. And it's very,
It's very kind of what we call mountainous in Oklahoma.
Of course, the states with real mountains would just call these large hills,
but lots of deep crevices throughout.
And then we live up on top of one of those mountains,
one of the higher points in that area.
And a lot of the activity comes down from the crevice just behind our home there.
And he's still very active.
they are and just a lot less more visibly.
And, you know, I don't get the sense that he hates human beings, but just doesn't trust.
And so he would rather not disturb or be seen and will avoid at all costs for the most part.
and these folks, they have children and handicapped children at that.
And I think Bigfoot's smart enough.
Sasquatch is smart enough to know that.
And, you know, I get it.
There are people that have had bad experiences and that like people,
you have people who do bad things and you have people who are smart and know to behave.
and there are people with mental illnesses.
I'm sure it's the same in that species.
And so those that do have done harm,
I've heard stories of people being injured or killed,
but I've also heard stories of people being protected and saved by Bigfoot.
And so, but I believe for the most part, the species is,
is able to and has been able to for all these years to live alongside us and conduct their life
in a way that is not intrusive to us.
It's just sometime when we get close to their home, they let us know, hey, this is where we live,
and we leave you alone, leave us alone.
And so that's kind of where, again, I've asked you, please don't show yourself.
Not yet.
You don't have to.
I believe you're there.
I believe fully without ever needing to see you.
But, you know, it would be interesting one day to see physically.
but I don't need that to believe.
I've already had enough experiences where I just know in my knower,
as one of my pastor used to say,
you know in your knower that something is real.
And after what I've experienced, I have no doubt.
And just knowing that at the same time,
we both looked at each of what could this be?
And we said Bigfoot at the same time,
It was like he spoke through both of us and introduced himself right then.
And so it's unique experience, but I also think there are a lot of people that have had these experiences that haven't said it and are afraid to say it.
And I totally get it.
I understand where they're at.
And I don't shame them for it.
But, you know, at some point, they should contact you.
This is a safe place to acknowledge those experiences and to help educate everyone.
These aren't beings that need to be hunted down and killed or put in a cage.
These are people, I believe, very much so, that share our DNA and our closest relatives
and are spiritual beings, just as much as they are in the physical realm.
And even now, I'm diving into the possibility that they are interdimensional
and have some supernatural powers.
I haven't got there yet, but I'm hearing about it and researching.
But I certainly believe in the fact that he is very, very real and not a dangerous.
like some would think.
Definitely if you ever have an encounter, respect, respecting.
And don't feel like you have to, especially if you're out hunting, don't shoot him.
You know, stay calm and remain peaceful.
And just think to yourself in your mind and communicate with him in that way, that you don't mean any harm.
And I truly believe that you will have a good encounter if one is to take place.
It is, man, when I get into conversations like this, there's so many questions that get brought up.
And the whole telepity thing just really, it really throws me for a loop because it comes up a lot.
and to think that possibly there could be if you're looking at a certain way of some kind of
physical individual that has the ability to communicate telepathically on top of everything
else it's it's very very wild stuff this is this is absolutely wild
Yeah, it's just one thing I had to
had to recognize as a form of communication
because that's, we would get just feelings and unctions.
And occasionally, like I said, we've heard our name be called
or in, you know, something saying hello
and the chatter that we heard a few times.
Just like it's right outside the house,
very, very certain and very clear that there was communication taking place between them.
But overall, with us so far, it's been mostly this telepathy or, you know, where they're sending
messages through feelings. And it's very, very hard to explain. But, you know, as humans,
you're able to see body language and other forms of communication other than verbal.
And we have that sixth sentence, if you will, many times in the city I have felt I was in danger.
And so I knew to leave the area.
And you can't really explain these things.
It's just a knowing that you have.
And, you know, if people would just open themselves to recognize that that is something,
thing we were designed with.

Skinny Pop, popular for a reason.
You know, and I believe we have this third eye that exists in our brain.
I've been told is very, very similar to the eyeball,
but it was a way that we used to communicate, you know, our ancestors
and way back in ancient times.
And so I still believe that that is a tool that we don't use.
But it is something that is because we don't tap into it.
We don't recognize it.
And if people would learn to rely on that sixth sense more often,
I think we can grow spiritually.
We can grow as a society.
And people would make wiser choices when they're in a unsafe situation.
They'd learn to recognize sooner, hey, leave this area,
rather to become a victim of a crime, something of that nature.
And so I think that they, having not been exposed, if you will, to the technology that we've had all these years,
beginning with radio and television, where we began to move away from nature,
we use it less and less and less as humanity.
But it's still something that's available to us.
believe 100% and we just have to get quiet and get still. Even in scripture, be still and know
that I'm the Lord. And it's in that silence where you can hear everything around you and realize
how everything is connected. Everything is all one and we are in the creator. The thing that
One of the weirdest things to me so far that I've been doing this for a few years is that the terminology, well, the way that people speak about, and I don't even know if I'm even going to keep this in, the way that the Holy Spirit and how it moves in Christians and then also telepathy and Bigfoot, the way that those are talked about are so, so.
similar and it scares me to death. I'm not sure what to think about it. Right. Right. It's very,
very scary. I don't know why it's scary, but to me it's like the parallels are very, very close,
you know. Yes. I don't know. Yeah. Again, it's almost as though as they have maybe a closer
connection to the creator. Um, you know, they, they know what this, what it really means for the
spirit to move. You know, you take away all of the emotional stuff, you know, in the Pentecostal,
the non-denominational experience. A lot of times you have people during prayer or they'll fall down
and they have catchers and things of that nature. And, you know, you can attribute a lot of that
stuff to emotions and people becoming familiar with it, thinking that that's what must happen
and that that is, you know, if that happens, then God really has moved on you.
But this organic experience was more spiritual in so many ways that I felt closer to the Creator than in those moments.
You know, those were very powerful moments.
I'm not, you know, doing away with them, but they were nothing like this.
it was life-changing
where you
know I recognize that even the trees
worship him even the
the insects I mean
everything at those moments
in that time was silent and just
buzzing with energy
and you know
I was just grateful that I was able to be a part of those
and that happened maybe
four times in those two two and a half years and I've just not been outside as much I've
become more of a caretaker and and and working maintenance inside the property and so and
then having the neighbors the new neighbors it's just you know something that I've not
had the experience maybe it's been a year but um you know i'm i'm more than willing if if it happens
again to to be a part and just you know it was like they were allowing me to to experience that and
i was so grateful um you know just to to to have the feeling you know of what it must have been
like uh you know if it was something part to do and i i really
really think, you know, Jeremiah, that a lot of it was a combination of the Native American experience
where even before them, where everything just came out to acknowledge the creator and to be at one,
and it was like a recognition of everyone is one, everything is one, it's all connected in the creator.
And I don't even like to call him God anymore.
Even though he is God, he's source.
He's the universe.
He's the creator of all.
And we put so many divisions up and dividers where we separate ourselves from one another.
And he is the unifier.
We are all his children.
Everything that has life is his creation.
And I just think, you know, we're somewhat different, if you will, special if you will, in the way that we were created to be creators, you know, and where we are able to, we are in control of our destiny.
It's not just things happening to us.
We're allowing, we have the ability to create for ourselves alive and to create things by.
speaking them. And so in that way, I think we're unique, but that does a discount that he
loves all of his creation. And even those that people aren't acknowledging or aware of,
even those spaceships that fly around and zoom unbelievable speeds and stop on a dime,
you know, I didn't see what was piloting them, but whatever was, was able to withstand the G-forces
and the sudden stops without becoming mush.
And so even they are part of his creation.
And I believe, you know, there is evil.
I understand that.
And you know that there's dimensions.
At least I've come to recognize for myself, there are dimensions and there are beings in those
dimensions that are very dark.
And some of these entities very well could be that.
But I don't believe Sasquatch or Bigfoot is one of them.
I don't believe he is an evil side of things.
I believe he can be mad.
You can upset him.
I believe that they were around when the Native Americans were forced all over the place
and slaughtered as things begin to move forward.
in this land and with indigenous people all over the world as quote progress was being made.
I believe that their friends were taken from them and they watched and observed what took place
and may have some resentment and some bitterness. You know, it's it's one of those things.
This is my own thinking as I've pondered and and looked inside it, you know, what really is going on here.
just from the stories of the Native Americans and their ancestors and that going way, way, way back,
they had to see it. They had to, to, to, and who knows, there may be stories that were not being told,
where they were part of roundups and being moved.
Oh, wow. Yeah.
You know, one thing I've come to know is the history we've been taught,
much of it is either left out or completely changed or just,
to flat out why. And so I've learned, like Thomas Jefferson said, question everything.
Even the existence of God, for if there is a God, surely he would rather you honestly question
than just to blindly follow and believe. And so, you know, it's with that questioning that,
if you question the right source, you'll get the truth. And so I'm at peace with that. And I had,
I never have lost my faith in God just because now I've now believe in these other things.
In fact, it feels more intact.
It feels more complete and makes more sense because it was always there, kind of, if you will.
And now to acknowledge it, and I have to admit, it was through experiences.
I don't know if it had never been for that movie, Harry and the Hendersons,
if I ever would have gone down a certain trail
or if it wasn't for the UFO encounter with my mother,
if I hadn't, wasn't, you know,
maybe I never would have been open to these things.
But it was like one thing after another led to where I'm at today.
And, you know, it's certainly haven't had to go hunt when foot is your neighbor.
And I acknowledge, you know, tell many people,
I said, well, our neighbor is a bigfoot family.
And literally just across a little 15 foot wide gravel road, just on the other side is all wooded area.
And we're surrounded up there by very, very thick and tall trees.
And just our neighbor is a big foot.
And so, you know, many, many, many things that, and we're comfortable.
with what we're going with our experience.
We're fine with whether people believe or not.
And we kind of like that it's our own little experience
and in some cases unique to us.
But it still is nice to hear others share their stories.
And again, some of them haven't been so pleasant.
I realize that, but I don't at all that that means.
means Bigfoot is an evil entity. And, you know, there's, you know, the Skinwalker thing, I believe, could be. Even a dog man, quite frankly, could be. But I don't at all believe Bigfoot, a Sasquatch is one of those evil entities. Just, just, just, yeah, to speak on.
fascinating conversation, Jason. It's been really eye-opening for me. I'm sure a lot of listeners
have probably will listen to this one more than once, I would guess. But Jason, thank you
for coming on the show. I really appreciate it. Jeremiah, it's been a privilege and I've looked
forward to it for a long time and finally glad to have the chance to chat with you. Have you ever
at all the accounts of Bigfoot activity around Oak Ridge, Oregon, and you think to yourself,
man, I would love to get out in those woods and experience it for myself. Well, guess what?
This year, you can. If this is interesting to you, stay tuned because it's pretty cool.
Sasquatch Summer Fest is coming up July 10th through the 11th, 2026. It's going to be even better
than the previous year's reason number one,
I'll be one of the speakers.
It's going to be wild.
I'll probably,
I'll say this.
There may be stuff you haven't heard anywhere else
because let's just say sometimes
it's, uh,
well,
you just got to be there.
We'll leave it that.
More about looking for Bigfoot in the Oak Ridge Woods.
Now check this out.
You may know Jason Kenzie
from his documentary series
searching for Sasquivie.
Well, this year, you can not only go to the festival, but you can also sign up for a trek deep in the wild forest outside of Oak Ridge with Jason Kenzie to the Bigfoot spots to look for Bigfoot.
There's only eight spots to sign up for this.
And yes, this will also be filmed for the next chapter in his documentary series, which is searching for Sasquatch.
This is a once in a lifetime deal.
It's just, trust me, it's going to be a wild, wild experience.
To get a ticket, head on over to Sasquatch Summerfest.com, and listeners can use the code BSP, like Bigfoot Society podcast, in order to get a two-day pass for the price of a one-day pass.
So thanks to Priscilla for giving me that code so that you guys can.
Can get a little help with the cost there.
Appreciate that, Priscilla.
I hope to see you at the booth in Oak Ridge this year.
We can talk about your encounter.
I was able to talk to so many people last year and the year before.
It is an incredible time.
You're not going to want to miss it.
And I'll see you there.
Before we wrap this episode,
I want to say something directly to a very specific group of listeners.
If you're in the military, any branch or forces,
and if you've seen something that no one can explain,
or if you're a National Park Ranger or Forestry worker who's been told to stay quiet,
if you're a pilot who's seen something strange down on the ground,
or if you're with the FBI, a federal agency, or working intelligence,
and you've stumbled upon something you're not allowed to talk about,
and if you're a firefighter, paramedic, or search-and-rescue responder,
who's heard screams or found tracks that didn't make sense,
if you're in the logging industry on a remote oil field or trucker with government contracts
and you've had something happen that you've never told a soul.
And if you're a biologist, a wildlife specialist, or a field researcher under contract
who has found evidence you're not allowed to report,
if you're a pastor, a missionary, or someone on a spiritual retreat,
and you saw something that shook your faith,
or if you work in the shadows, CIA, NSA, or anything with clearance,
And you've seen what the public hasn't, then I want to talk to you.
