Starting point is 00:01:19 Today's episode is really part two of in the field interviews during Oak Ridge 2025. This takes place on Sunday after the festival. You'll hear multiple people in this episode. episode, you'll hear Ronnie Roseman and Dwayne and M.K. Davis and myself. You'll also later in the episode hear Don Monroe, who is a Montana-based Bigfoot Research, I believe. You'll also hear young Don and there's a cattle dog as well. You won't really hear the cattle dog. You might hear him a little bit. But anyways, let's get to it. It first starts out with a quick discussion in Ronnie's car about the Honey Island Swamp Monster and sometimes it's okay to say that you were wrong.
Starting point is 00:02:11 I think that's an important conversation that was recorded. After that, you'll hear a interview, quick interview up by the Oak Hole I did with Don Monroe. Apologies, you can hear other people in the background. It's a little hard to hear, but it's still a fun extra story. about that area. We can argue about that too. But a cat's alligator feet is fine. But I don't want to go through all that again.
Starting point is 00:02:41 I thought we had this straight and down. Two hours in radio with this guy. Well, I still don't see the evidence of it. But you run across those tracks, right, when you went back in there again? Yes, I did. Okay. That changed everything. I think that's what he said would be interesting.
Starting point is 00:03:00 Yeah, I changed everything. I mean I had to go back and correct and make sure that I did not leave anything uncorrected because I didn't want to harm you know she had built a long time well yeah kind of I'm glad you did but I it was after the fact that he did a 15-minute documentary a one-day search because he found some tracks he thought that were made the phony tracks and then he put it out to everybody in the Bigfoot fails. Yeah, I learned my lesson.
Starting point is 00:03:35 I was trying to tell you, but people don't listen to me. Tell you what, it's hard to learn your lesson, but you sometimes... I ain't rubbing it in, but... Sometimes you got to... Once you know you've done wrong, you've got to correct it. That's huge, man. That's big. Well, I correct it, but I still wouldn't listen to them.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Yeah, see? See what? See what I mean? Probably going to answer problems in the future. Okay, M.K., why would you... I've been down there and been on several programs. Yeah. And one program I said, I used to believe this.
Starting point is 00:04:09 Yeah. Oh, you did? Yeah. You brought it out? Right, until I found these tracks and he showed them. And then he said, that changed. Yeah. Yeah. Well, when I was on that show, Scott Marlowe, at the end of it, you remember, he said,
Starting point is 00:04:27 that's the most popular show I've ever had. He wasn't rescheduled with another one, We did that one. Yeah, it was good. That was fun. I'm not in the business to try to hurt something. That's one thing about you. I told everybody, even people that hate you.
Starting point is 00:04:44 I said, M.K. is honest. He's not helping money. Right. And he says what he believes. And I, you know, I've known that about you. You're a stand-up guy. And to come out and admit that on something so profound is that. I appreciate that, but it also had to be done.
Starting point is 00:05:00 Yeah. Yeah, that's what I love about it. I got my own story for my book. All right, well, I'm going to get some... A few years ago out in the whisperer the other side out here, there was a little storm, trees were down, people were out cutting lumber. From town here, he's out there cutting wood, and he's cutting wood, he's cutting and then he kind of got a feeling he looks up and what he interprets as a man standing up on this bluff about 60 feet away so he went back and cutting and he
Starting point is 00:05:45 thought yeah better take another look he took a look he stood up took a cockles off and it was a freaking big foot and it's staring at he and he cocked his neck and the big foot He knocked his neck exactly like he did, like mimicking or mocking him. And he said that was it. He left his tools and saw everything, jumped his pick up and he was making dust. He called the police department to turn the escorting to go back and get his tools. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:21 There's so many stories out here. It's wild. Yeah, there's something living out here. No doubt. What are they? What I want to know. And they used to these guys, him and his daughter, I would never would have experienced any of this. I meant I had to raise the bar on them and their intelligence way, way up, and I still don't know how high.
Starting point is 00:06:46 I have no clue what's going on. I don't know if I ever told you or not. There's a dark scary spot up that road right there, too. Really? Yes. Like, what do you mean? It's just creepy. Freaks you out?
Starting point is 00:07:03 Oh, yeah. Yeah. I don't want to, you know, it's like. I don't really want to hang out here too. Yeah, I gotcha. That's why that reminds me, this area through here, east and along the creek here, is where he's seen the rake man, he said, going up this way. What?
Starting point is 00:07:18 A rake man. Yeah, this guy's reliable. Gosh. We've seen the rake man here. Going off into the trees that it crossed this road. What's that? The rake. So it's like, have you seen Lora the Rings?
Starting point is 00:07:31 It's like a pale, skinny, gallon, touch. Gallum type terrible evil creature not good. It's white, its head looks alien human mind. And it's on for it and its hands are like their claws and long nails like a rink. It's called the rake. Yeah. I'm glad I haven't seen nothing like that. I thought it was all pulled when it first started coming out.
Starting point is 00:07:58 There's a lot of good reports come in and then I got a print, somebody got a history and I've done. and I've got to know he tells me that. Yeah. So what are you gonna think? What about Slender Man? You ever heard of Slender? That's a weird one.
Starting point is 00:08:14 That's like Hatman or all those. All right. Slender Man back home is one of the well-known. He got goat man. Mississippi. Yeah. I heard there's a wind of gold thing. Oh, I'm not supposed to say that word, right?
Starting point is 00:08:33 I don't have... I was according to the Dine. A windigo is half spiritual, half physical. Right. You can actually turn into a Wendigo. Oh, man. It's triggered by greed. Really?
Starting point is 00:08:49 The Indians in the East considered the entire British Army to be an Indian wing of because they would not stop, you know, getting land from them. They, they, they, full of greed. Here we go. Oh, look at these guys. Okay, get ready. Here we go. Where's the serge?
Starting point is 00:09:10 I don't know, but. What is everyone doing here? I know. He might already drove up there waiting for you. See lots of problems for portals. Yeah, there's a portal store around here, I'm okay. It is. It's wild on saddle, blanket mountain.
Starting point is 00:09:25 There was a guy hiking up there, and he felt like he walked through something, but energy and shimmery and something. the corner of his eye, a hairy arm reached out of something and he heard the words got you and he barely escaped. That was told on a VFR expedition in the southwest. It's crazy, dude. Oh, is this down? There we go.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Wagon's ho! Where's Don? Yeah, who's with... Crunched in the back of the air? Who's in the passenger? That Don's Don. There's two don's. Don's, friend, he's a Marine, too.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Oh, okay. I was like, man, Don looks younger today. Well, it was... I feel like, you know, my theory on portals is... Okay. You know, somebody can go through a portal and get unpaid for three weeks. He got his job, you know?
Starting point is 00:10:21 Yeah, yeah, yeah. He just worked three weeks, and it's like it never happened. You know, he still had his job, but... Oh, so he, like... It takes it in mind. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:32 What do they be doing? Just cleaning up the woods? I'm not sure what they're doing. They act like they want to clean it up, but then they don't clean it up. That's a lot of, a lot of... Then there are little piles of wood that they tell you you can't cut up firewood, but they let it rock. How did y'all manage to find this hot spot amongst all this wilderness? It's all that's good stuff. I was born here.
Starting point is 00:10:59 I grew up here, I hunt here with my brother and my dad. This is... You just kind of knew about it. Oh yeah. Yeah, you spent a lot of time up here. Over 40 years. All of it. All of it.
Starting point is 00:11:15 All of it. Looks like these trees are dying. It was a fire. Big fire. Yeah, I thought these things, this family of Bigfoot here, had left because of the fire. The fire didn't get everything in here. And I didn't think they were here anymore myself. anymore myself. I come back here on my birthday, it was on my birthday, and back in about 300
Starting point is 00:11:48 feet, MK, there are tracks of the five that I know are, they're everywhere for 100 feet that direction and 100 feet that direction. Everywhere, there was not an inch of ground that wasn't having their tracks. The big guy 23 inches. I thought I think as the old lady, it was 15 inches and young adults their tracks were all over there for it I've never heard or seen anything like that they don't do that normally do they oh no not really they're not they're not really I mean they're not keen about I'll see it leaving a lot a lot of tracks behind I see a series I've seen the big guys several times but he usually be in a series of few tracks nothing like this it was crazy and I that's something
Starting point is 00:12:42 different. Yeah. So I'm wondering, I think that's where they were whooping and stuff when we were getting along. I was playing the same. I think it was right there. And I was wondering if it wasn't a sign that let me know that they were here. You know, I don't know, but I can't make sense out of it. Well, you know, think about it. We know that they can holler. We know that they leave tracks. and all these things, if done in excess, would bring in people on them. I know, so I'm thinking it was specifically for me because they wouldn't do that normally.
Starting point is 00:13:19 And I had been, after the fire, I was up here for over three months. They were waiting for me. Every time I come up here, I get to them, and then I would turn on and sing, and they would start whoopping, and we sing together for as long as I was here. And they was always waiting for me.
Starting point is 00:13:35 So when the fire separated us and I come back in, and now my bird, they got their tracks for 100 feet every different direction. And I know that's the area where they were whooping from, and I know they were moving back and forth while they were whooping. So I know, I'm speculating that they wanted me to see that, to let me know they were here.
Starting point is 00:13:56 You know what I mean? Well, we don't know. I want to engage myself. I don't want to sound too crazy. Am I okay so far? Yeah, you're good. Yeah, you're good. Good to go.
Starting point is 00:14:04 I don't think we brought enough chairs. That's all right. I'll use a stump. So this is, if you hear of an area up here called Oak Hole, this is the area. Yeah, yeah. I just don't want to end up in a David Politey's book. Oh, there you go. Do you see his National Park Dock he's working on?
Starting point is 00:14:27 It's going to be incredible. It's all about national parks and missing 411. It's going to be great, dude. He finally got access to film in National Parks. parks. Bless his heart. He's been waiting a long time. Yeah. They don't like dealing with him. No, no, they don't. I'm going to tell you guys something. Gosh, dude. Whoa. I'm not trying to freak out a little bit. I felt the side of the car going down a little bit when you went around that log. Oh, you thought maybe it was near the edge. I was, oh, here we go. No, I'm not...
Starting point is 00:15:11 No, you're good, you're good. No, I'm a professional. Yeah, I know you are. But anyway, where was I? Anyway, what was they saying? I bet the Bigfoot back there, they sit over in the distance and listen. You get entertained all afternoon and then, and darn, you leave it. Leave it early.
Starting point is 00:15:31 Man. Wild spot here, right down there is, really? Is that where you guys? You guys got those twist tree twists? No, that was right back where we were camp at. Or where I used to camp out. I don't know. If I left down here by myself, I wouldn't be able to find my way back.
Starting point is 00:15:54 I got lost on the coast of Florida. It was only one mile. And there was there. And it took eight hours going in, before I realized they were going in circles. And I didn't know how I was going out of there. to get by out of there. I just, I don't know what I did, but I did something right in the gun. Where the ocean was, and then I walked around.
Starting point is 00:16:17 I guess some amount of people I'd take up in these legs, because we took shortcuts, you know, the trails, 7 to 12 miles long in these legs, but if you take a shortcut, you're there in half the time, you know? Uh-huh. But people say they can go through the woods, can't really do it. And then we spend all of our time looking for them instead of fish. Right.
Starting point is 00:16:41 I wish up in the Gala's mountains. What kind of fishing y'all got around here? There's browns, brook trout, rainbow trout, bass. Is there any in that river that goes by the park? Oh yeah. Willam it? Yep. And they'll release salmon from below at Dexter and then put them in up here so you can got salmon.
Starting point is 00:17:05 so you even got salmon up here. It would have been nice to see it went up before the dam and it was all flowing. Yeah. That would have been nice to see it. They say they're eventually going to get all those dams. Oh, so. I want to see my little country come back to it, so I don't think I want to get to see that, but maybe my grandkids will.
Starting point is 00:17:37 You can find a portal. Unless I can find a portal. I can find the right portal and I could jump in there and come back younger. They should make a portable part of illusion are we gonna go So you can put in your backpack you know that you need it Exactly Port a gun It's like my daughter and my wife says he are crazy you want to go inside a spaceship you want to get abducted
Starting point is 00:18:04 That's right I said so what they go talk to Elon Musk They're looking for people he said no you don't think they could be coming here Because of this and that I think they already been here They've been here for thousands. They've been here way longer than we were. I just can't understand why they freaking come out and show up three freaking times when they close up, even once putting a light on me. And then take off, starting to piss me off. Maybe they saw who you were.
Starting point is 00:18:31 I don't know, but it's like they're teasing me or something. Look at that deer. Yeah, look at there, a little thing. It was laying down in the road. Oh, wow, yeah. Nice. Like high, bye. Yep.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Boy, you're talking about blending in. Uh-huh. That tells you something of something. about Bigfoot done. Yeah. Probably he could ride right by one. I caught a, I was a snake hunt one time in the desert. I caught a, I got a little rabbit, ended up calling him Jack.
Starting point is 00:18:56 I seen his head coming out of a little hole, and I got him a little bitty bunny. I mean really little. I got him home and nursed him for a long time. I had a four bedroom house and written off my head. Big house. I had him in the porch by the water heater, which he had him. water heater, which was a long way from my bedroom, one bedroom that was in the front out of four bedroom. And I didn't know you have to be the old guys about three or four times through the
Starting point is 00:19:28 night. And that rabbit got out of that utility room and found my bed. I heard scratching on the wall in the middle of the night. And a little bunny, he was looking for it to be fed. He found me. I got him in a bottle, putting him back, and I got the habit of feeding him about three times a night. Oh, the next night he caught, two nights he was scratching on the wall. The next night he was pulling my blanket, waking me up. And a little guy and he got older and older. I had a couple of dutch, I think of the chicken in the yard. And he started growing and growing and growing and bigger.
Starting point is 00:20:11 It was that frickin jack rabbit. Oh, he had the big ears? Yeah. He grew into a beautiful Jack rabbit. Jack. Name is Jack? Yeah, well, what are you going to call him after that? You can't.
Starting point is 00:20:23 Yeah, well. I've got a simple person, so Jack ain't Jackriver, right? I could call it Jake. You could call him J-R. Yeah, yeah, Jay-R. But whatever. It's time for Jack to go back to the desert. I don't have to keep that in mind,
Starting point is 00:20:38 next time I'm going back in the desert. I took him back to the desert. I took him back. The boy, boy, that was over. I took him back. found him to let him go but uh yeah that was pretty me always had pictures of all it's so fun you know i never thought of pictures how much you know later on you really enjoy it oh oh god only in my mind the closest thing i can get to reality is stories and sharing it with you
Starting point is 00:21:06 i'm so i appreciate it i can see you have to i'm so appreciative on me sir is he wadbit season You know my mom said I had just canny ability to shut off what people say. Oh, I've been through that before. Cany? I really can't. It's like whenever my mom would tell me something, I wouldn't hear it, kind of thing. Anybody have an actual siding up here? Yes.
Starting point is 00:21:44 Yeah, yeah. He's had two in a few years. apart, you know, only two. What was last year? Chad had a few from last year. Yeah, almost all the guys we brought up here from the convention last year had actual sightings. And then right after they had that siding the next day,
Starting point is 00:22:03 we went up, all that was going on, then I seen something. That was the first one I seen on this go. I'd stay upon this hill if I lived around you. You know, if you know darn well they're there. Just hang out. His manager with the camera on her. Before everything started here, before people started coming up, my daughter came up there to that area.
Starting point is 00:22:30 Get moss. She sells moss. And they're picking moss. And Dayton, there's three sets of yellow eyes back in about 100 feet or something. And they had the granddaughter, too. so you got nervous my daughter. They decided to leave. While they drive out, they're looking back, and three of these creatures were at the exact same spot where they're pulling the bus.
Starting point is 00:23:00 Watch them drive away. The next morning me, him and his daughter went back in there and the tracks were there. Denise, his daughter found a beautiful track. It was on the side of, you know, it was 17 inches. the big toe was like that so they were there they watched him drive out they were watching while they pulled it lost what's this uh leafy stuff on the ground is that it's got cabbage no not right here Oregon grape and uh rotor dendrums yeah yeah that road goes back up in there it looks like a good way it just goes in the oh there's landing Thank goodness they got that fire put out. It was a doozy.
Starting point is 00:23:59 I don't know so... Kind of messed us up for a while. Since I was a kid, I've seen a few fires, I guess. Creatures came in camped right there. Spoo my beans. I had a can't have baked beans. He was down there at the barn. He was down there with Ron too was with it.
Starting point is 00:24:25 And got down to bottom the trail and we camp tonight where I snore. Right, right snow, right. Yeah, yeah. Bigfoot don't bother me. Right. So I was right down there past the meadow. Yeah, the meadow is down below when there was swamped around there. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:38 I've heard about that, yep, yep. We went down over a tree that stepped over, kind of like. You came back, it was removed. Wrong there, six bananas down here in the tree, I told them to turn them backwards. They didn't do it, but he put them all face the same way. And I talked about them, you know, and two were gone, and one was on top of his car, or the driver's side,
Starting point is 00:24:58 We had Todd Nees with us. A different kind of approaches than me. Sure, sure. Here's what happened here. Okay. Todd Nees parked right there. In the field? I was parked right here.
Starting point is 00:25:08 Okay. And I came up in the evening with one can of beer. I put it down a paper stack by my back tire. It's hit. We'd gone out in the woods and come back and we're sitting there by a fire, a little fire down there. Down there somewhere. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:23 And I said, we had some food here for you guys. Uh-huh. And he said, I got some touch that in the car, that truck, I got at lunch. I said, good. He said, I'll share it with you. He went down and got to lunch. No. He got to the car.
Starting point is 00:25:38 He found a can of beer. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Out of the sack, no sack. Uh-huh. Lushed gone. The sawed, they stole a friggin beer. Really?
Starting point is 00:25:48 And they took it and put it in his car, took his lunch in my sack, and left us a hen of beer. He brought it to me. It wasn't open. No way. That's the truth. Dwayne, watch it as he walks out there just in case. So when last year, Dwayne actually had a sighting.
Starting point is 00:26:07 It was bright 12 o'clock towards those two trees at the edge of the meadow. Is Denise with you? You know, you know, you know what Denise? Five years ago where he was walking about 20 feet in that brush back there, I found tracks in that same vicinity. I found tracks right back there last year.
Starting point is 00:26:23 We're both on the same page. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They'll miss much. Yeah, but I got to finally see them. First I was like, is that a bear? It looked like, and it did this weird jump, and it didn't make sense to me. I was instantly confused.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Something didn't look right, but I'd seen something with hair in it. And then everybody'd come up. The bushes were so tall. I knew it wasn't nothing short. And they found tracks up there that way. Yesterday, I forgot to tell the crowd. I'm not much of a speaker.
Starting point is 00:26:55 I don't speak. I just tell the truth, but the shirt was wearing the color. Remember that red kind of color? Right. It wasn't red, but kind of a strawberry color or something. I forget. It's kind of a maroon. I was going to tell him about that.
Starting point is 00:27:11 White-tailed deer and bears. They can see better than you think. But say the range is 50 yards off. I can still see it. And I noticed that Sange watch too can't see that maroon color in the shadows because it matches just as good as black does. Right. But it's a variation they don't see too often.
Starting point is 00:27:29 I'm a hunting guide, you know, years ago. I took guys for many bearers successful. And I've noticed this after a snowstorm in Montana, we were kind of hats out. It's not after a snowstorm. The snow's going plop, plop, plop, plop, you know what I mean in the woods. Right. And that's when deer began moving around. They're not too sure what causes that noise.
Starting point is 00:27:53 Right. They know, but they don't know. So when the snow falls into the hatch, you got a chance to get in one of them. They play fox and geese in a given area. The sotskwatch is the same thing. If you scare them over here, then you go there, it might follow you there, and you go there. You might run into one another in a given area in the evening or when you think they're around. And leave, wherever you go, something they might want to take back with them.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Like you've got ten hamburgers, just for example. It wouldn't be that, but put one at a tree here and one on a stump. After a while, some of them are gone. Right. get tempted because enough chowl out there they might get hungry after a while. Oh yeah. Yeah, I've seen it up in here with apples and bananas. Jeremiah. Jeremiah okay, tell you know. Where's from? What was your home? Well, right now I live in central Iowa.
Starting point is 00:28:39 Well, where does you raise that? Western Mass. Massachusetts. I've been out there everywhere. I recognize the type of thinking might have. Well, you might go and might be able to go up in the Kloib or we're about the girl's sharp in the curb. I might know that's pretty. I caught freight train college in the United States as a kid working. I learned back in the old days how each, there's five countries here in the United States of attitude, basically, education, basically, whether it's Harlem or World Brothers, whether it's, you know, grassy, it gets a different education. I'm not putting anybody up or down, but that's what you learn
Starting point is 00:29:18 that and then they travel a lot, they change your old views, to match them, but it gives us a a background of potential on how they'll respond. As enough said. Absolutely. Do you hear... Are you hearing snaps at my 2 o'clock? Local boy. Like, that's a choice.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Not yet. Maybe. I'm not sure yet. Okay, all right. Trying to figure out what I'm hearing. I'm on the story a lot of time with Kurt Reinhard. Chris. Oh, Chris is great.
Starting point is 00:29:50 Yeah, I talk to Chris quite a bit. Yeah, yep, I know. It's good. MK before right yeah Chris is a great dude chips on there too that that statue okay yep that wooden statue of ship I'm gonna make the make the girl for him too of the sister I guess or a girlfriend one of the other with chip just like that what do you got out here in this country regarding snakes not much your ginder stater stings once in a while they call it timber
Starting point is 00:30:22 gardener snakes, wherever you go in the United States. Yeah, but they're kind of little, but they're green. A pigmy-like, almost. But they're kind of green color. You got, you got northern Pacific rattlesnakes. Well, right here? Yellow-I, yeah. Coralus yellow-eye.
Starting point is 00:30:41 And you got the green basin. I've only seen one kind right here. But on the other side of the hill. I would not come here to look for rattlesnakes. I wouldn't either. size they're common anyway. I'm trying to figure out how you're telling me there's two different cuts here. Let's see if you grattle snake, that's a second run snake I got bit by.
Starting point is 00:31:00 You got bit? You didn't know that? No, I didn't know that. I'm not to bring you up to date. I got a couple stories I can tell you. Uh-oh. Here we go. I'm going a long night ahead of you.
Starting point is 00:31:12 Yep. Yeah, that's like one I got bit about the dog. I can tell you all about snakes. My brother-in-law was walking to the brush and... and wanted to strick his boot. Struck his boot? Yeah, you know. It reached out there and...
Starting point is 00:31:34 It released it. It released Venom? I don't know. It didn't go in him. But later, when he took his boots off and he went to slip it back on, the fang was still in. He put his boot on. That's embarrassing. The next day, his foot swolled up. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Oh, he stuck him afterwards. Yeah. Oh, man. Yeah. I got 18 rattles of stairs. 18 rattlesnakes out of a den in Texas. A bit of a long story, I don't know to keep my stories shut, but slow, whatever. But I didn't get bit or nothing.
Starting point is 00:32:11 I stayed there for a long time getting off. That's when I, I had some whiskey. I was there for two days, got stuck, I'm trying to make this short. But the second day, I was looking for a den away from the rattlesnake round up. single-sake random. I went out 100 miles different because I figured they've been been working. Then local people have been hunting states in the region. So I went way out and I was looking to try to get some double balance. Got stuck from my four-wood drive in a cattle area and I was already like 70 miles from the nearest place way out in the country
Starting point is 00:32:48 going out, got stuck. Dug out all four wheels with a coffee and I had a, there was three tornado sit down 15 miles away. I'm there, the guy had a tornado shelter. I was there for a night, one day, another, the night, and the next day. And I only had one sandwich with me in a big bottle of whiskey Jack Daniels. While the sandwich I was gone, I was worried because it was getting low of whiskey. But I had run the guy's, the guy that had some stuff around there. There's no buildings, but he had a track there. I ran down to the hill. Because I want the second day, I got to get out of here, you know. I running down the hill didn't start. I was going to try to pull my four-wheel drive out. And so the next day, I'm standing on the road,
Starting point is 00:33:43 which I actually I wrote a song while I'm standing there, nothing else to do all the day. I see dust flying. I'm 70 miles from nowhere. And here, it was that guy that known the truck. He was coming up. I didn't, I see in the dust, but there's no, I'm saying. Here I see that truck there coming that I had run down the day before down the hill. And he didn't say a word. He passed me up, went and pulled by four wheel out, and came back out.
Starting point is 00:34:12 I stopped him with you going to keep going. I said, can I pay here or something? But I said, no. It's the only thing you did when you run my tractor down the hill if you didn't turn the switch. there in this switch. And I, what are you doing out here? Well, looking for a rattlesnake in, so what are you? Well, you go down that gully back about 200 feet and on the right.
Starting point is 00:34:35 You'll see a big hole that's got two inches and there should be a couple hundred rattlesings. Yeah, 200. I got 18 of them out of that. I was there at the freaking day and I've only got so much whiskey left. Some of them are coming out, I'm not staying. There should be a lot more down in there. So I crawled 10 feet down in there, take a look. in there take a look. I got it all of a sudden open up into a cavern and there was a rat's nest
Starting point is 00:35:06 that freaking high three rattlesnakes right on the top he has looked it right at me as big as my fist or was and they're looking at me and there's rattlesnakes crawling everywhere all but I couldn't get him out there was hardly enough room to get in there and then try to crawl back out but they all I see the dam I wish I'd had a picture of that you're rattlesnakes all over the I have those 18 rattles. Can you drop me off here? This is Priscilla's house, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:38 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I will be at the, you guys are gonna be at the bar later? Yeah. All right, I'll be there later. All right, we'll see you. Okay. Thanks guys. Pleasure meeting you, M.K. Yeah, well.
Starting point is 00:35:53 Yeah, right. Let's do it. Dwayne. Stay safe, brother. Be safe. I didn't finish my story. Oh, well. Next time.
Starting point is 00:36:01 I'll get this. I'll finish the story up later. Okay. You got any alternative engine? A few of you might be thinking, okay, well, did anything actually happen up there at O'Cole beside you being able to talk to Don Monroe about an interesting thing that happened to him? Yes, a few things did happen. And I'll go over those now.
Starting point is 00:36:24 Did not have a recorder with me during that time. But we will go ahead. and talk about that. So during the time that I was walking around up at Oak Hole with the individuals that you just heard, there was a time when I did decide to do an experiment by myself outside of recorded means. So I went down to a meadow in the Oakhole area, verbally asked out loud, if you're here, please make a noise. After I did that, I heard back by the main group by the Forest Service Road. I heard what sounded like a large whuff noise.
Starting point is 00:37:03 I then went back to the main group and asked if they had heard that noise, which no one had heard that same noise. I then walked behind the original meadow that you've probably seen in videos or photographs of Oak Hole last year where there were tracks found by myself, Cliff and Denise. And when I was back in the woods behind there, I said, again, if you're here, make a noise. I said that verbally out loud. immediately after asking, I then heard a series of wood knocks from further in the woods approximately 30 feet from where I stood. I then asked the same question. If you're here, make a noise out loud. And then received the same response.
Starting point is 00:37:45 And both times, this is within half a second immediate response. There was nobody else with me in that section of woods and nobody else heard the knocks after I checked back in with the group. Dwayne did report that he had also heard a loud stick crack and whistles at times. Unfortunately, at this time, we did not have Denise up with us, who usually when she is present, the activity seems to be more ramped up. Younger Don and the cattle dog reported hearing a low growl as they walk through the woods in a different area of O'Cole, and they heard wood knocks as well. What's also interesting is that most times the things that we heard on that Sunday were not the same that were heard by other people. For example, Dwayne heard whistle sounds and I could not hear them though I was standing right next to him. Very, very strange thing.
Starting point is 00:38:37 I will say that M.K. Davis is one of the funniest guys in the Bigfoot community. No matter how you feel about Mr. Davis, he is a funny guy if you ever get the chance to hang out with him. I would really recommend it. In the members section, which is currently on Patreon or you can become a member on YouTube, I have an extra half an hour of audio that you can listen to. Supporting members can. And these are a lot of stories from Ronnie that are not Bigfoot related, but are pretty interesting. So if you like hearing extra things, you can go over, become a supporting member of the podcast
Starting point is 00:39:15 and hear that extra half an hour. In a few days, I'll also be putting out a full write-up of everything that happened on my 2025 Oregon trip. There was a lot that happened. There'll be photos, and you can access those as a Patreon member. Again, thank you to those that listen to this episode. If this is your first episode, appreciate you being here. Make sure you're subscribed. Share this with people that are also into Bigfoot.
