Bigfoot Society - The Western New York Bigfoot That Shouldn’t Exist

Episode Date: April 20, 2026

In this episode, we dive into the experiences of Ryan Reading, a longtime researcher from Western New York who has spent over 15 years tracking, observing, and documenting Bigfoot activity in one of t...he most active regions in the Northeast.Ryan shares the moment that started it all—a close encounter with a juvenile figure at an old homestead—and how that experience led to years of consistent fieldwork across remote forests, trail systems, and hidden corridors deep in New York wilderness. What followed were repeated sightings, including a massive 9-foot presence witnessed with another person, along with footprint casts, trail camera captures, and audio recordings collected through disciplined, boots-on-the-ground research.Throughout the conversation, Ryan explains how he mapped movement patterns, identified travel routes, and used habituation techniques to increase the chances of interaction. He walks through the strategy behind some of the most compelling images and video he’s captured, offering insight into how these encounters happen and what keeps them just out of reach. This episode also explores the intensity that comes with long-term exposure to the unknown. The experiences shared here go beyond brief sightings, revealing what it’s like to stay in the field day after day, pushing deeper into areas where activity continues to unfold. If you’re interested in firsthand accounts, documented evidence, and a deeper look at how serious Bigfoot research is actually conducted, this is an episode you don’t want to miss.Resources:Ryan’s books on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/stores/R-READING/author/B0FCDB9M49https://www.amazon.com/CHALLENGE-YOUR-INTERPRETATIONS-RYAN-READING-ebook/dp/B0GG5C5LZGRyan Reading on Soundcloud - https://soundcloud.com/ryan-reading-545925788Man Beast of Western New York documentary - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXtay1opxm4Ryan’s Youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/@WesternNyBigfoot/videosContact Ryan here: ryan_reading@yahoo.com🗣️ Share Your StoryHad a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience?Send it to bigfootsociety@gmail.com – your story might be featured on the show!🎥 Watch & Subscribe on YouTube🔴 Subscribe here → Bigfoot Society YouTube💬 Leave a comment & let us know your thoughts!📞 Leave a voicemail with your story → Speakpipe (Use multiple voicemails if needed)👥 Share this episode → Watch & Share🎧 More episodes → Podcast Playlist🌲 Recommended: New Jersey Bigfoot Encounters💥 Support the Show & Get Perks✅ Join the community on Supercast – Become a Member✅ Listen ad-free & early on YouTube – Join Here📱 Let’s ConnectInstagram: @bigfootsocietyTwitter: @bigfoot_societyTikTok: @bigfoot.society🧰 Tools & Partners I Use (Affiliate Links)These help support the show at no extra cost to you:Beam (Better Sleep): Try BeamWildgrain (Better Bread): Join HereSeed (Probiotics): Get SeedMedi-Share (Healthcare): Learn MoreLMNT (Electrolytes) Free Sample Pack with your first purchase! : Get LMNTOrganic and non-GMO groceries delivered for lesshttp://thrv.me/uarEhS🎙️ Podcasting Tools:Repurpose.io: Try ItDescript: Sign UpStreamyard: Start RecordingRiverside.fm: Try Riverside🎧 My Audio Interface: View on Amazon☕ Buy Me a Coffee – Support Here🛍️ Grab Some Merch – Shop on Etsy📬 Mailing Address:Bigfoot Society125 E 1st St. #233Earlham, IA 50072

So settle in because today you'll hear another account that just might change the way you see the woods forever.
Starting point is 00:01:53 So stay with us. All right, Bigfoot Society. Welcome back to another episode. I've got the privilege of talking to Mr. Ryan reading today. You may know him from, really he's referred to online like Western New York Bigfoot, right, Ryan? That's correct. Awesome. And I'm glad to have you on the show today.
Starting point is 00:02:13 He's helped me out with some stuff. Ryan's a smart guy. He's gone through a lot. You said what? You're up to like 15 years of research? Yeah, unfortunately. But yes, it's been about 15 years now. Yep.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Absolutely. And then for the audio listeners, just a reminder, this is also a video interview you can listen to over on the Bigfoot Society YouTube channel. And if you do that, you'll be able to see what is a five mounted white-tailed deer over Ryan's shoulders. So there you go, guys. If you want to see that, hop on over to the YouTube channel. It's worth it. But Ryan, is there anything else that you would want the listeners to know about you for context before we get going, talking about your years? of research, we've got some photos to go through, some audio, some really interesting stuff today.
Starting point is 00:03:02 I mean, sure. My day-to-day, I'm a real estate investor. That's kind of what I'm into. I'm a published author and you can find my books on Amazon. I'm at avid outdoorsman, a hunter with the with the company, Pro Staff company Fall Obsession. I'm also an article contributor to Whitetail Life magazine. So I have a, well-rounded gamut there. I also own a, I'm the founder of a hunting company, Ryttec Hunt Systems. So pretty busy. Absolutely. And then you got the, the Bigfoot stuff on, on the side. And man, there's, I don't know if a lot of listeners know how wild Western New York is for Bigfoot stuff. There's, there's a lot, a lot going on over there, over the years. But, you know, Ryan, when, when I talk to someone
Starting point is 00:03:54 that has a lot of experience, a lot of years into it like you, do you mind if we start back with what it was that got you into the field of Bigfoot? What really sparked things off for you there? Yeah, it's not like I wanted to just get into this realm here. It was because of my first sighting, right? So my first sighting while I was metal detecting out at an old homestead, I'm just breaking it down quickly. So there was an old well.
Starting point is 00:04:27 I had come around the well, and I went up this hill embankment where the foundation used to be. You could see all the cobblestone. And as I worked toward the west side of it, I had to duck down under a low-hanging branch. But abruptly, the hill kind of went straight up right there, you know, like a, I don't know, 60-degree angle. It was pretty steep. And as I came under that branch and I looked up, I didn't realize it at the time, but maybe you're talking maybe 20 feet from me. There was one standing there. And at the time, I didn't know anything about a juvenile.
Starting point is 00:05:04 I didn't know anything like that. You know, I just did a double take, seen it. And it was protruding from behind the tree. It was kind of like this. And then it came out like that. But as I did the double take and looked at it, it realized it sees me. and what it did is it kind of the whole head, the whole body shifted, but it bared its teeth to me. It kind of went like that, and I was able to see that it didn't have any canids.
Starting point is 00:05:31 It was all blocked teeth, right? So as it did that, it turns to its left, and I can see the display of its hand as it does this, and I can see the poseable thumb. I can see as it goes down on all fours, and I'm watching it as it hits the remaining hillside and goes up and over that hill in a matter of like maybe four seconds. It was on all fours. It was gone. But to describe it to the people, it was probably around five and a half foot tall.
Starting point is 00:06:00 You know, that's the realm that I envision. Jet black, total jet black, really long, lanky arms, skinnier. It wasn't like this row. It wasn't like others that we had seen later on. This wasn't robust. This was young. the head on it was more like a chimp style head. It was rounded.
Starting point is 00:06:22 It didn't have that full brow ridge or anything like that. It was more like a rounded chimp head, right? And that will come to play later on in some of the photos that I captured because it kind of looks like the same individual, in my opinion. Okay? But, you know, that came later on. So this whole scenario kind of, it shook me. You know, I ran out of there, grabbed my dog, got to the vehicle, went home.
Starting point is 00:06:54 And, you know, the only person I actually called, I told my mother. I was like, listen, this is what happened to me. And I didn't tell anybody. It was just like, mom's the word. I tried to actually get it out of my brain, like that it wasn't real. I was kind of, I was shook. And I didn't understand what to do as a hunter because that had never happened to me before. and it kind of just went by the wayside, you know, and I kind of just said, well, if it is, it is,
Starting point is 00:07:22 and there's nothing I can kind of do about it, right? But I kept trying to downplay it like it wasn't real. And then the following year I was with a friend of mine who actually passed away now. His name was Brian Lidlow. Good guy. We were actually, as the crow flies, about a mile from that location, my first sighting. and we were doing the same thing out metal detect and having a great time that's like one of our hobbies that we really did you know find old coins homesteads it was a good time and uh so we're at this this rolls into my second encounter which actually pushed me into the research realm um so we were detecting maybe four or five hours and as the sunset uh we kind of split up there's a there's a large trail that they use for snowmobile, state land. And it's, you know, it's a 50-yard swath all the way across. And then it just
Starting point is 00:08:18 goes down through the woods for a couple miles, four or five miles in this one section. And I was on the right side. He was on the left side. I was still in the timber, though. And it's, sun is setting, you know, summer day, July. And I'm able to see him come up out of the woods to the trail. He was on a higher, higher side over there. I was on the low side near an apple tree. And I was like, well, I'm going to come out of the woods too. You know, he's, he's, obviously finishing up. So I started to head toward his direction as I get to the opening where the clearing is, he's pointing and he's like, look. So I took off my headset as I'm walking toward him and I'm like, what did you say? And he's like, look. And I look up the trail and right in the middle of the
Starting point is 00:08:59 trail, I'm going to say about 200 yards, maybe just shy of that, but, you know, 150 to 200 using my hunter perspective. I look and there's something in the trail. And it looks. like if I thought at first it would be a huge bear. It just looked like this ball. It looked like a ball of fur almost, but it was like kind of taken up the whole gravel trail up there. And you're talking, you know, these were old stagecoach trails. So they're wide, you know, they're not small. And this thing is up there. And now he comes to me, Brian walks to me and we're shoulder to shoulder. And he's like, dude, what the F is that? Like, what is that? What are we looking at? And I'm just, all of a sudden, like, I started getting that
Starting point is 00:09:42 feeling. I'm like, the first encounter started coming back to me. And as that happened, he's got the shovel from the metal detecting shovel and he's holding it like this and this thing stands up. And as it stands up, I kind of like, I'm doing this. I'm holding, you know, to keep the perspective, the point of view. I'm kind of really looking at it. Like, what is this? And that's when it stands up. And as it does it, I kind of just, and I step back because it was so gigantic. I ended up, this one we ended up getting some measurements on in a footcasting from, obviously, which pushed me into the research.
Starting point is 00:10:22 But as we're standing there, it was gigantic. It was huge. Ended being 9 foot 8. Okay. And we got that for a reason. So it's standing there. This whole interaction is probably maybe 20 seconds, 25 seconds, but it's 20 seconds, but it seems like an eternity, right?
Starting point is 00:10:45 It seems like an hour. So as this is transpiring, it turns. And as it goes to turn to its right, our left, it takes one step. And the second one, it's already off into the bramble and timber. It's already going into it. But as it does that, there's a conifer. And this branch is hanging over the trail, right? So when it turned to go, it hit its head on it.
Starting point is 00:11:10 And when it hit its head, I watched the branch do this. and I was like it just it was like a aha moment like I can measure that like I can I can see what that is right so we ran out of there we were we're kind of like dude let's just let's get out of here and I started telling him I was like dude that was a big foot like that was and he's like no couldn't be he was in he was in the denial phase like I was the first time but now that I had witnessed it with somebody I was like okay I'm not bananas now I need to figure out what these things are where they you know I need to apply my techniques I need to just and I went gung-ho at it so um the next day we went back up there that's when we measured the distance from the head to the to the ground or from the branch to the ground uh 9 foot 8 and then as we look there was a mud uh I don't know like a section that it stepped in I ended up getting a 19 inch foot cast out of it which I still have to this day wow that's 19 inches that is that normal for for what you're normally seeing in western New York.
Starting point is 00:12:15 I mean, that's really big, I feel, for the East Coast. Very big. So at the end of the day, the ones that we've had, I've had probably about seven different encounters over 15 years, and that's only because we tracked them. We went after them. We stayed in the woods. We followed them through the county.
Starting point is 00:12:32 We did astronomical things. I mean, at one time, we were even, well, habituating with them, right? and that's how I recorded some of the audio. But no, 19 is big. Normally we're seeing them in like the seven foot range. This one was very large. Like you could see the mass to it. I could see its brow ridge from 200 yards away.
Starting point is 00:12:56 It didn't even have a neck. If you had Hulk Hogan stand in there, he would be tiny, right? Like this thing was giant, the legs on it. Like they look like tree trunks. It was jet black. That's one of the features that I'm noticing up here is most of them are jet black. I've had two encounters, one where it was like a brown cinnamon, and another, which is, I have a photo of which it was white. I didn't see it, but I have a photo of it where you can see the head, and it's a white-colored creature.
Starting point is 00:13:32 But the majority that I've encountered are black. But that one was gigantic. You could see the barrel chest on it. Like, I don't even know how to explain it, but the way the hair, you can't, I couldn't really tell, but you could tell that the hair stopped in the region of the face here because the way that, the sun was coming from behind it, but it looked like the, I want to say the skin was shinier, had like a shiny tone to it, like, or maybe oil, I couldn't tell, but you could tell it there was a distinct difference from the from the brow ridge around here in the facial eyes to where the hair started you
Starting point is 00:14:15 could just you could just tell um and as like i said as it took that stride off to the to its right it was probably that stride was probably five foot from a standing turn and just a right yeah it was it was yeah it just it blows my mind when i hear stuff like that and i'm still at the point where I haven't had what I would call like a visual siting, like a National Geographic type siting. But, I mean, man, to hear you explain it, it is pretty wild. What do you think is the closest that you've been to a Bigfoot over the years during your research? So the closest would probably be, well, so there's two circum, there's two, There's two instances that I was close, right?
Starting point is 00:15:18 The juvenile, which was my very first encounter, and that was you're talking about 20 feet. But that was a scared encounter. That was a fighter flight encounter. I was taking everything in and not absorbing your understanding. During the research, I knew what I was looking for, right? And I was hunting one day, and I had one come up. off from my left. I can, I'll briefly describe that because let me say this, during our research, we've experienced so many things in the Bigfoot realm, including what you would say, I guess,
Starting point is 00:16:00 are aliens and the Wu side, right? The side that people don't want to talk about, right? Well, there's certain things that I have to talk about because if I don't, I'm not being truthful to myself, right? So during this, I'll briefly tell you about this hunting encounter. I'm sitting in the tree stand. I'm up on a valley. And up to my left, I hear what I know as a wood knock. And I was like, that's interesting. Like I didn't even know they were in this area, right? About two minutes later, I heard one down in the valley. And we're talking either side of me, maybe three to 500 yards. But it echoes, you know, whack, I could hear it. As it's getting darker, I hear this noise up. up to my left side.
Starting point is 00:16:44 And you're talking maybe 50 yards, and I'm looking through the timber to my left. And it's bow season. I've got my bow, and I've got my ozonics running. So an ozonic is a machine that helps eliminate your scent, right? It blows ozone, right? So nothing can smell you. So to my left, I'm looking and I'm looking and I'm looking.
Starting point is 00:17:03 This story's been told to a few people, but not many. So as I'm watching this creature come down from behind this big oak, There's a huge oak tree. There's just one big oak. It comes down. It gets behind the tree and I'm frozen. I'm kind of, I'm shook. I'm scared, right?

But I grabbed the bow and I'm holding the bow and I'm like, if I have to shoot, like, if this thing comes after me, I'm going to, you know, I'm going to shoot. It's probably seven and a half feet tall, so it's tall, but I'm at about 18 to 20 in the tree, right? It comes down, and this is the weird part, so it comes down, it passes me, and it's actually headed toward the road. There's a road that way, probably, it's probably like a buck 75 to the road.
Starting point is 00:20:32 That's not very far. So as it's going toward the road, it gets past me maybe 40 yards, and then it bends down and there's this huge log. I mean, I don't know, 18 inch around or something, 20 inch round. It grabs with its left hand, it pulls the log up and it reaches under it and grabs something. I couldn't tell what it grabbed, though, right? But it's almost like it knew it was there and it was on a mission to go there. So it went there, it grabbed what it grabbed, and it put the log back down. It didn't fully, it just kind of picked it off the ground.
Starting point is 00:21:03 turned around and it started walking back and i'm like oh like it's it's going to come toward me like now my heart's pounding i don't know what to do and people are like why didn't you get a camera it at that time you're not thinking anything about this you're not worried you're just in this moment like what am i supposed to do what is going to happen is this thing you know it's not like oh you know oh i'm going to lollygag and just take my phone in hindsight maybe i should have but i i when i was experiencing this as the sun is setting it's getting dark you don't know what to do and you don't even know how you're going to get out of the woods right so this thing's kind of coming back at me and I'm like if it's going to come at me I'm going to shoot so I've got the I got my release I put
Starting point is 00:21:44 my release on the bow and I'm like if it's coming I'm just going to pull back and fling one and try to hit it right in here if it's coming at me but as it gets to the old um I guess you would say it's a logging road it breaks and it goes right again and it gets right up behind that tree and it goes the same way that it was coming in. And I kind of relieved then. I hung the bow back up slowly and I felt myself coming back down a little bit. I'm like, okay, focus at what's going on. And I'm watching that tree. But it never comes past that tree. As it would take a stride to keep going in its direction that it came from. It didn't. All of a sudden, I see this light. It's like this flash of blue light. Like, I don't know how to explain it. I don't know how to explain it. I don't
Starting point is 00:22:30 what you want to call it. It's just this flash of, it's, it's not a teal, but it's, it's like this blue, almost like a blue electric light, like electric blue purple, like it's, and then nothing. I hear nothing. I see nothing. It's gone. This thing is gone. And I'm just like, I don't understand.
Starting point is 00:22:53 I can't process anything. I couldn't understand these things. But yeah, I ended up leaving most of the stuff in the tree. I basically I flew down the ladder. I got to and I ran to the truck from the road. I literally ran. I got in the truck and I just I started it and I punched it. And I just, I drove home.
Starting point is 00:23:14 And like, that affected me for some time because not only was I encountering a big foot, now there was a big foot that I don't know what happened to. And essentially you would say it disappeared, right? So now I'm just like I don't understand. I don't. So there's a lot of things to break in that research. Like, and I tell people like, I'm just at a standpoint where you have to explore everything because if you don't, you're lying to yourself.
Starting point is 00:23:46 So most people say, well, it's this or well, it's that. I don't know. I don't know what it is. I don't know what we're seeing. I don't know what type of abilities they have, but I just know what I've experienced. Absolutely. What you said there is very, very important. I think that we are doing ourselves a disservice if we're cutting certain things out of encounters that are reported and not investigating them. But also, I would say that it's important to know where you stand yourself and how you are grounded before you get into this field because it is just going to be an eye-opening experience if you really, really, really, get into it, you are going to be tested in a lot of ways. That's 100%. You couldn't said that no better.
Starting point is 00:24:36 You know, like, am I grateful to be able to see what I've seen? Yes. Has it hindered me? Yes. And that's why I said in the beginning, I don't know if it was, you know, a blessing or a curse, technically. because there's a lot of things that happen that I can't explain and everything from health issues to things that you don't want to see, you know, and it seems to be the status quo in the Bigfoot world. Like there's many people that have run into these things that had issues down the line, health issues, problems, just different things.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Some have passed away. I've lost three of my team members passed away. And it's just, there's like a stigma. And it's, you know, people don't really understand. I had another thing happened to me, which was very spiritual, which one of the main reasons that I stepped back from the big footing for a while. So we were at a conference at Lake Chautauqua and we were speaking. And that night, you know, before the conference, me and my buddies had a couple of beers. We were hanging out.
Starting point is 00:25:44 I said, I'm going to bed. It's midnight. I got to, you know, speak in the morning. I got to have my booth. I got to do things. I went to bed and I had this, I'll call it something that isn't good, right? So it's not a good spirit, right? This is malevolent.
Starting point is 00:26:02 And I had this thing come to me, lay on top of me. Essentially, I don't know if it would try to, it was trying to harm me, whatever it was doing. It was sucking at my mouth. It was about six inches from my mouth and you could see the white mist. forming like that they talk about. And the only thing I could think of is I'm Catholic. So I was able to turn my head because I was like frozen. This thing was on top of me literally.
Starting point is 00:26:29 It was six foot tall, maybe five, six foot tall, something like that. I'll tell you what it looked like. But it was the only thing I could do is turn my head and say, Jesus helped me in my head. And when I did that, that's when it stopped and it got off me,
Starting point is 00:26:43 walked away and disappeared into the closet. But they talk about all these things about mind speak, all this stuff. And this happened to me. So when this thing was on top of me, I tried to scream and I really couldn't. But I heard it tell me that, you know, I finally got you. Right. So, and I was like, no, like I'm thinking to myself, what the hell.
Starting point is 00:27:01 So it was this gray opaque skin. It had two horns. It had the eyes were like sunglasses, I'm going to say. They were so silver or black that they look silver. And it had this huge mouth with all these jagged teeth, right? And it was trying to suck at my mouth. So I guess some people call it a succubus or incubus, whatever those things are called. They don't want to know.
Starting point is 00:27:26 I don't care because that part is not in my realm, right? So anyway, after this whole thing transpires, I have this bad encounter. We're at the conference and we're on the deck and just like, let me help you, essentially. And I'm like, he's like, I'm an ordained minute. Like he was ordained at one time or something through a fire station or something. I didn't know this. Well, they were into the paranormal realm themselves. and he happened to have like holy water, frankincense,
Starting point is 00:27:52 mrrh, all this stuff that I didn't know. And he's, me being Catholic, I pray, right? So it's like, pray with me. This is what everybody was telling me, right? And I supposedly told them no. So when that happened, I blacked out. I guess they were praying over me. And his team member at the time said she was praying on my back and it was really hot.
Starting point is 00:28:15 And she was putting holy water on me and stuff. And I didn't know any of that. So I came to it, and the next thing I knew, I don't know if it was 10 seconds or two minutes, I came to it and I looked over the deck and I said, I'm going to throw up. So I ran down the deck, which is a really long deck. It's probably like 50 feet long. It's a long deck on the back of this camp. I hit the stairs.
Starting point is 00:28:38 I dropped to the left alongside the cabin and I started to, you know, to throw up, right? not in layman's terms, or heave. And as I'm doing that, they came down there, and this is what somebody had told me. And the next thing I remember is coming to, he had lit the frankincense or something, and he stuck it right in my nose, right in my nostril. And when he did that, it like woke me up. And next thing I remember is it came, like I got the rest out, and then he was holding me against the side of the bottom.
Starting point is 00:29:15 barn or side of the cabin. He's holding me. And I just remember sweating and crying and all this other craziness going on why these people are like all looking at me. Why this transpired. So after that, I backed away for like three years because I feel like some of the negativity or whatever that energy was that tried to get into me. He said it, they call it a partial possession or whatever, I think it may have come from the woods, searching for these things, looking into these things, because people always talk about like a veil, right? There's like this veil, like we can't figure out what they are. But in my perspective, there are things that mimic, right?
Starting point is 00:30:02 So let's say you're habituating and I'm just looking for Bigfoot, right? That's what I'm doing. But there's other things that will take advantage. of that negative entities maybe look like them act like them sound like them so you start habituating with them and you're okay with this building this interaction and then they attach to you and then when that happens you start talking these crazy things and you've noticed it with a lot of people online they start talking these crazy outlandish things or they're seeing things that aren't even there so i that that put a kibosh on me for a little while i was just like okay
Starting point is 00:30:39 let me get my mind right after all this happened but it happened my goodness it's that is is so so intense and i i think you explained it in a good way where you know you go out into these areas sometimes opens you up to to other things as as you said um so what what uh what had you go back into the field after those years that you were away well i I've got a lot of friends, right? Like, a friend of mine that I actually helped get started was Chris Reinhart and a friend and Mike Ann and a bunch of other guys that I'm friends with that they're like, dude, like, you're good at this.
Starting point is 00:31:23 You know what you're doing. Like, you're one of the people that I think can find them and prove this or show this. And it's just kind of led like baby steps back into it. Like, you know, it took me a long time. even when I first got into this too, like when I seen them, like I took a hiatus from hunting because I didn't, I didn't want to go in in the dark. Like I knew they were real now. But now, I mean, I'm at the point where it is what it is. I've taken the baby steps.
Starting point is 00:31:54 I've come back in and, you know, I'm going to start doing more and more and more. And I've captured a lot of good evidence over the years, the pictures, the audio, the video. there's just a lot of things that we were able to capture and do just by applying common sense. And to me, it seems like common sense, but maybe to the normal person, it's not. So yeah, we kind of learned them. We kind of used everything against them. So like if we got into some of the photos, like I can kind of tell you like a backstory. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:32:32 Absolutely. I think that's a good time to get into that. Is there a certain photo that you would want to start out? Yes, it's the one with the side view of the cam, the bright green one or the one above it. They go down, go down. Okay, yep. Go down. This one.
Starting point is 00:32:49 They see the bright green one or the one above it. Yeah, that's the original. So this is to me the same, what I seen as a juvenile. This is what it looked like, okay? The head. So if you're looking at this, this would be a side view. the camera obviously is facing away from it. The camera is facing where we are habituating.
Starting point is 00:33:13 There's a kettle over there with certain things in it. And we were learning that they were coming from the southeast corner heading in the direction that you see. There's a trail down there. And they kept coming from this one corner and they would come diagonal straight down to that kettle and get what we had and they would go back. What I learned is you cannot put.
Starting point is 00:33:35 with the cameras facing the direction they're coming from. So what I did is I hid them at a two foot level facing the direction they were going. And what happened is this one, I believe, which was on all fours, is looking at the kettle. And what you're seeing is a side view. You can see like the chimp side like this. It would be its brow, its forehead, its brow, and then like a chimp cheek down on the bottom. And it's looking toward the kettle. So I was able to catch that.
Starting point is 00:34:04 You can see the hair. And what I did is I highlighted it in the other one and I changed the color background only so you can see the discrepancies where there's a little different color in the eyebrow. So you can see, you know, it wasn't a bear, didn't have a snout and things like that. You know, bear don't have like a forehead or hair like that. But yeah, that's how we ended up capturing that. This is Sophia Bush from Work in Progress with Sophia Bush. And now a break from our sponsor, Miracle Grow. Let's be real. We're all feeling a little digitally

But when it's time to make decisions, make them with a doctor. Learn more at AMA Health versus hype.org. That's AMAHealthVShype.org. I was the habituation, but that's the type of individual that I seen in the very beginning. I have the original photo, which was taken probably 60 feet away or something, and we didn't really realize it at the time, but you're able to see that face in there. That's a large tree that it's like, there's like this whole mass of trees that are down
Starting point is 00:37:32 and it kind of looks like it's backed up in there and hidden. It's like it was, it looked like it was sleeping. So the eyes are closed. You can see the red dot on the nose. You can see like the lip. Like if, you know, yeah, there's a nose, mouth, the two eyes. It's a conical shaped head. And it was in that tree set and it was like frozen in there.
Starting point is 00:37:58 And my buddy had like seen like movement. but then we took cult pictures and then we tried to head that way and there was we couldn't see it like it was just gone like it was weird but it's the same kind of rounded young shape head um that you just witnessed so and that was only a mile away that was where we had our second encounter so we were bouncing back and forth on this hill between these areas and getting all these different types of encounters um So yeah, but it's also, you know, capturing this is good to show people like, hey, I'm not just pulling your chain. I'm not just yanking your, you know, giving you some stories. I'm backing it up with what I have.
Starting point is 00:38:43 You know what I mean? So when you say habituation, usually when I think about that, it's something where it's going on on your home property or is that you're just kind of focusing on an area. And can you maybe explain a little bit about why it would be considered a habituation? So habituation, what we did is we made this a schedule. We called it your regularly scheduled program, right? We would go to this spot five days a week at 6 p.m. Five days a week for six months. The whole, yeah, we were there from April to October.
Starting point is 00:39:28 It was one of our biggest things to do five days a week at 6 p.m. We wanted them to know that they could say, oh, they're there. Oh, they're there. We wanted to just create this loop to where they got comfortable, where they're there. We know it same time, same place, same frame, everything. We built the rapport with them. And everybody that does that seems to have good luck.
Starting point is 00:39:50 So we habituated over and over and over. We started giving them certain things I don't want to say because I don't want people to go and do it. But we found out that they were really interested in eating them. And it worked because we were able to get the photos. I mean, there was times where we were loading the kettles, taking things for samples or whatever we were doing. And at the same time, like, we're hearing them yell and scream and break branches and, you know, do all kinds of stuff to where we would back out and leave. And yeah, but it's been an interesting road to be able to talk about this.
Starting point is 00:40:29 Now, I mean, we could talk about the other photo. That's one of the more recent ones, the one above it. So, yeah, that's the one you have to zoom into. You can see the gray kind of figure back there. I think I had it highlighted in the other photo. But if you really look at that, just to the left of that tree, there's like a gray small being. It almost looks like a little monkey.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Gotcha. We call this the green room. This is where I captured the audio that we do have. We have a five-minute audio clip that we caught of what we believe is a whole family unit. Screaming, yelling, doing things, breaking branches, huffing, potentially attack. a deer, I'm not sure. We can't really tell what's happening, but you can hear it in the whole five-minute clip. That's on our SoundCloud. That's Ryan Reading. You can check that out, but he does have that linked. So this game camera was where we understood they had a diagonal pattern path
Starting point is 00:41:37 left to right coming across. And right next to that tree is where I had the had the audio recorder. So now you can see, it's a little blurry, but you can completely see that there's something there that looks like it has a tail even. If you really look at it, it almost looks like it's a monkey, which is really odd. And it's this gray color that does not branch in with the rest of the surroundings.
Starting point is 00:42:04 The tree is tan, everything is brown. That is more like a grayish brown. Yeah. And I do have original photos. Obviously, I didn't share them with you, but I have the original photos that show that there's nothing there,
Starting point is 00:42:18 and then that is there. Wow. Okay. I'm going to show this one real. It's, I mean, there is definitely a figure there and it does not look like a bear or anything else that would be in those woods, in my opinion. 100%. And as you look, it almost looks like it's looking at the camera. It almost, you can see the discoloration in the face where it would be turned toward the camera like, I seen it type of thing. It is blurry. I mean, that probably was at 80 feet from the camera, and mostly they pick up at about 90 feet. So, you know, you're talking, it's zoomed in a little bit, but, and I had the camera hidden.
Starting point is 00:43:02 I thought so. And people think you can't catch them on camera. You can, but you have to understand their patterns, their pathways, movements, where they're going from A to B, because they don't veer, far from it. If you find what I call like a migration route and I use maps, I've done this, I've created a Google map of all the sightings, but just for New York. But I focus on their
Starting point is 00:43:29 migration paths. How do they get for point A to point B? How are they getting from this large block of timber to this large block of timber nine miles away? Whatever it is. And then I find everything in between and when I find the bottlenecks or bottlenecks in the timber that I've I've learned they use that's them are the areas I I super focus on and then it becomes time and then it's like put out cameras put out recorders do everything and then eventually and that's why people are like wow you've had like six or seven sightings which is astronomical but it's I it's not like I wanted to I was I really just wanted to prove it in the beginning but then now I'm you know I'm one of the very few that I've been able to catch them on video, able to replicate the trail camera photos.
Starting point is 00:44:15 You know, everybody says, you can't get in my trail camera. I have. I've been in, and here's multiple instances. So I think you just said something really important. And I want to see if you can, I don't want listeners to skip by it where you said, so pretty much, if you can break it down. So when you say you find the bottlenecks, or are you, are you saying you, find the areas where it's easier for them to travel through that's surrounded by things that would
Starting point is 00:44:45 be not easy to travel through? Or what do you exactly mean by that? So I'm looking at areas that they're forced to travel through. So let's say I have a block of timber on one side and another block of timber on the other and they have to travel creekways or let's say this, they're not going to walk out in the middle of open fields most of the time. They'll travel the edge of timber strips to like one of the biggest things I do too is where can they cross roads they don't just willy-nilly cross roads that's why you have sightings over and over in certain areas because they're bottlenecked down into that region where they have to cross highways right so there might be a strip of timber that's 100 yards wide and another strip like let's say there's cornfields on
Starting point is 00:45:30 both sides they have to travel that to stay covered they have to get into those woods or those timber edges to go across that road to that other section. That's why you're getting citing reports all over the country in the same areas a lot of times. It's because they know that that area or they're forced through that area. Like one of my regions is in Sinclairville, New York, right? I'm not going to say where, but we have four regions that kind of come hill systems that come into one area, you know, that come from Lake Chautauqua, that come from Bradford, PA, come, you know, from the foothills of the mountains. And it kind of all empties out into my,
Starting point is 00:46:13 into the Charlotte, Sinclairville, Arkwright, Cassidaga, this whole area where we started searching. So once we found that, we said, okay, we got a bottleneck it down, down, down, until we found the area that they were in this 700 acres. And they were kind of just living in this 700 acres moving around, moving around. And they did that like all summer while we chased them around. And then they would branch off and go other places. And we learned like, okay, this is how they move. So now when I wanted to explore another big area, let's say I'm driving down the road,
Starting point is 00:46:48 I would look for these certain timber breaks, certain areas where they would cross the roads. Then I would go in the timber and I'd look and I'd say, are there any structures through this woods? Like people want to relate the structures to them? Okay, so let's do that. Did I see any structures within the first couple hundred yards being in the woods? Yes. Okay. Then I knew at some point they were coming through here.
Starting point is 00:47:09 No, mark it off the list. So I was deleting certain areas. And then finally I'd get to a trail and I'd say, wow, look at that. Or my buddy would say, oh, there's a structure. Or, oh, look at that structure. Oh, wow. So we were using the roadways in these timber strips to find plausible, repeatable areas. right? That's how we started
Starting point is 00:47:33 finding these bottles. We call them bottlenecks. In deer hunting, we call them funnels. It's where deer funnel through or they're forced through by the terrain. Because they're smarter than deer. Deer kind of just roam around, do whatever. These things know they have
Starting point is 00:47:53 to get from point A to point B securely. Right? That's their survival is their whole M.O. When you start thinking like them and putting yourself into their shoes, you can find them.
Starting point is 00:48:09 And it just takes a matter of time. I've heard that from a few other people, too. In conversations I've had survival and food. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Man, I want to make sure we get through the rest of these photos, Brian,
Starting point is 00:48:24 because there are some really wild ones to come here. Is there a certain one you would like to talk about? No, go ahead. Whatever one you click, I'll just talk about. What are we got here? So that was a game capture photo. Not too far from that first chimp photo, the side view, during the habituation.
Starting point is 00:48:43 But when you look at the hair, it doesn't follow suit with like a bear. This camera was actually about four and a half feet off the ground. What I used to do, I used to call it the horseshoe method. So I knew they were coming from the southeast. their southwest and what they could do is see the cameras, right? So I would create this horseshoe all the way out like a couple hundred yards of cameras. And eventually they would know that they were there somehow and I don't know how. So they would use this alley and they would continually force themselves through this alley. You would find their footprints moving back and forth.
Starting point is 00:49:22 You know, I have probably nine or ten casts downstairs. And we just use this horseshoe method. They wouldn't go toward the cameras. They would stay, you know, so out at 100 yards, and I knew this alley. So then I would hide these cameras. And this is what it would capture at four and a half feet, whatever that would be. That's not a bear back. It's just the hair, that's more like a fur. That doesn't follow suit with too many animals.
Starting point is 00:49:49 That is wild stuff. We've got, I think, a few in the same thing up here, maybe. So if you this was a trail camera and a creek system crossing a road that that is a hundred yards off the road, right? So when you look at this photo, there's a couple I sent you because I think I sent you one that doesn't have anything in the photo. But let's look at this. I think this is the one right here. If you zoom in, yeah, just to, can you zoom in farther? Yep.
Starting point is 00:50:18 See that face right there to the left of that? Yeah, I was looking at that before the zoom and I was like he's going to say right there. Yeah. So that was as it came across the road. But if you look to the left lower, by them two leaves, there's a white one. That's the right there. You see that white? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:35 There's an eyeball. And it's looking between the trees. And they're both looking at the camera. They're both looking. And you can see the leg on the black one almost as it's taking a stride. Sure. So it's coming from the left. They're going to the right.
Starting point is 00:50:52 And I think if you click a couple more, there's four of them there. You'll see one that doesn't. That's closer. That's closer. Yeah, you can see the eyes. You can see the, you know, you can just see the definitive. You can almost see in the white one, the head, the structure, the nose. That's wild, dude.
Starting point is 00:51:11 It stands out from the brown trees. That's so cool. It's not like it's, yeah. But I don't know if I sent you the original, but the original is, because I didn't know how many we could go through, but the original does not have anything. I have like a whole sequence of them where the original shows nothing, right? And I want the, I want your audience to understand that, that it's not just some technical blur out there.
Starting point is 00:51:35 Like, oh, it's, you know, yeah. All right. We've got, I think this is probably the original because it's zoomed out. That is, we were in a valley. When we were on a top, that is in a valley.
Starting point is 00:51:48 And we happen to be, I don't know, that's fully zoomed in, right? So that, that was probably, We've seen this probably close to 100 yards maybe away. And we could see this like black thing in the tree.
Starting point is 00:52:02 So my buddy zoomed in. He's like, dude, that's not normal. Like, what is that? Well, you can show the zoomed in closer one. And as we got closer, it jumped. It jumped out of the tree. And you could hear crashing through the woods, but we couldn't fully see it. This is Sophia Bush from Work in Progress with Sophia Bush.

But as you look at it, you can see, again, the same type of face next to the tree, that chimp rounded type face. It looks like the arm is around the back of the tree.
Starting point is 00:55:10 It looks like the legs are hanging down. You could see the left arm. It looks like the left arm might be up on the tree or something like that. Same lanky figure, you know, same type of, that's like what I seen. in my first encounter, that skinny, lanky thing, and we're just lucky to get the photos of them. And this isn't a tree. This ain't on the ground.
Starting point is 00:55:32 This isn't like we're, you know, this isn't a tree. That's high up. I couldn't even guess if you look back at the original. I mean, you're probably from, because we were on a high ridge, that's probably 25 feet in a tree, at least if you look at the base of the tree going up. Because this run, we're at the top of a hill and it's going, down. So we were way up. And when we seen it, you know, and then we took the picture. But then as we started coming down that hill, it jumped toward the back. And you could hear the crash. And my
Starting point is 00:56:03 buddy John was like, what was that? And it took off down through. And it was gone. Wild, wild, wild stuff. Any, any idea of how big whatever, what's in that tree, how big it might be? So my same thing, around the five foot size, about the five. foot size and I actually had a couple people use this in their own measurements somehow. They do something with data and stuff and it came out around 56 to 58 inches. But that was what I seen. That was what we, you know, when you see it with your eyes, you can kind of gauge it. Yeah, definitely, definitely.
Starting point is 00:56:42 Let's keep moving. I think this one's a new one, yeah. Yep. So I don't know if I sent you another one. This is actually on video. So we were coming out of an area called Rolling Hills. Yeah, there's the second one to it. It's right there in a trip.
Starting point is 00:56:56 Okay, yeah. So we actually seen like four or five individuals take off running. We were coming up out of the creek bed, heading toward the road toward the truck. And on our left side, I kind of pan this way, and I'm talking and looking with the, with the Panasonic cam and doing that type of thing as we're coming out. And you can see them running. They were like in the video, there was a couple of them running through. And this is one that I caught.
Starting point is 00:57:20 So, and I'll show you what I mean by that. When you look at this, it's going away from us. You can see like the head, the high shoulders and what you would call the legs, right? It's going over a log. So if you go to the photo that has like a triple in it, it's there's. Oh, yeah, right here. Yeah, that one. Okay.
Starting point is 00:57:39 If you really, now take a look at this. Look at the hips in each one. We showed movement is what we were showing. The hips are tight in the top one. They're fatter in the middle and they're even fatter at the bottom. as it was getting up from sitting. So as it went to get up and go and take off, you're able to see the different shapes in the hips.
Starting point is 00:58:00 So you have this in video form, you're saying? This I do. Yes, this one's actually on YouTube. I have to find the video. I think it's Rolling Hills. Okay. Something, yes, but it's there. Some of mine are private.
Starting point is 00:58:16 If I do need the video, I can share it with you or somebody else. but we have this was on video and we snipped it for three different sections where you could see the movement as it got up because people would say well it looks like a blur well bare hips don't look like that they don't they don't have a waist you can see the like the waist in the top one no i mean i would uh yeah i'm going to try to track that down because it would be great to have it in the links for the episode so people can watch it for themselves if it's a public video yeah i would definitely track that and I will get it to let me write that down absolutely uh right let's see I'm I'm saving one for last because sure it um oh okay I don't think we talked about this one but man my goodness look at that so my it was me John and Troy uh in Dan and what had happened is we were walking we were deep we were
Starting point is 00:59:15 deep in it. Like we were in the woods and I kind of I came out near the trail with my buddy John and he kind of swung around and the other two guys we kind of tried to do like a little push but not a push just to see where we could triangulate them into. And what it happened is my buddy Dan thought he saw like a turkey come from behind the tree and I was like no that wasn't a turkey like and they took pictures but it was at a distance. And what you can see, is it was it here's the crazy part everybody looks for these things to be nine feet tall seven feet tall the majority of the time that i've captured them they seem to be smaller and on the ground or like in a gorilla format like the big one that i seen like the you know most of them are either
Starting point is 01:00:05 standing or the only one to i mean i don't know anybody else that's really captured them in a tree except there's a couple of footages that you know because that sets that's it apart from many things, from hoaxing, from, you know, you're 25 feet in a tree. It's different. It's, it's, there's just a bunch of stuff. But you can see this, this has a nose, this has lips. This has a large, larger forehead. Um, but you get the problem is people don't understand distortion. I try to talk people through that. Like when you're at a distance and you've got a camera zoomed in and I take a picture and then I'm trying to zoom in even more to show people what we're witnessing, it's it, you get the pixelation. Nothing is perfect. You know, I think everybody just
Starting point is 01:00:49 kind of wants it like right there, you know, but I'm doing the best that we could do, you know. And I, and I'm certain we have some of the best evidence that's out there. I think it's, I think it's some of the best that has flown under the radar because people are not aware of this. I mean, there's this photo at the end that I think is just going to, I think, is just going to, I I mean, on top of everything that outs that we've seen so far is just going to blow people away. I think we haven't talked about this one though. Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 01:01:22 So this one actually, I don't know. It's weird because they're shaped differently. This one kind of looks like it's got a weird face on it, right? And it looks like it's got a branch in its mouth. Like it's eating leaves. Oh, sure. So as we left what we call the green room, you come out and you would hit this trail and then it bears straight downhill. and then it breaks back to the right.
Starting point is 01:01:44 Well, on the other side, there's a ridge, like a huge valley. It goes down like 100 feet. And it comes back up. And on the other side, there's all these pines and stuff. So as we came down and over to the thing, I was like, what is that over there? Like, again, it's like they keep the same distance, that 150-yard distance. Like, they watch from a distance or like 200 maybe, you know, zoomed in. And that's what it was.
Starting point is 01:02:11 And then all you could see was like the leaves move and it turned around and went the other way. Like you could just see that little flicker of movement, right? Like kind of like I shared in the video with you of what we had where it turns around the leaves. That's what they're synonymous for. But you can see in this the leg, the body form, the face of it, like even where the hair on the top kind of meets like its distorted face. And it looks like it has a branch in its mouth to me. I can't say that, but that's what it looks like. It almost looks like you can see it's, you know, private.
Starting point is 01:02:48 Can't tell. But yeah, I mean, and like I said, they're all jet black. Again, this one is kind of squatting down. Like it's just a weird. I don't know. They don't all look the same. How big would you estimate that what this? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:08 I'm going to say this one touches. the six and a half, six and a half seven based. I'm trying to remember looking. And if I had to look across that ridge and that's squatting right there. So I'm going to say in its squatting position, that's all of four and a half in a squatting. Because if you back out, if you look at the tree next to it, you're going to look at three shoe sizes up that tree, 12, 12, 12, 12. that's about four and a half in its kneeling position, maybe five, because you're using the tree as reference right next to it.
Starting point is 01:03:55 Yeah, that makes sense. Okay. So if I'm using that tree and I got four of my gym shoes, let's say, 12 inch, you're about four feet, close to four feet right there. So in a squatting position, four feet, which if it stands up, you're going to be six and a half, seven. Yeah. Oh my goodness.
Starting point is 01:04:15 Okay. So we saved this one for last, which my goodness, dear. A lot of people say it's fake. It's BS. It's this, it's that. I don't care. I don't have time for that. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:04:31 So run us through what's going on here, because this is probably one of the wildest things that I've seen in seven years, to be honest. That is zoomed in. That's probably at about fire call, maybe seven. 70 yards-ish, maybe 80. So we were coming through, same thing, by what we call the green room, but there's another trail that goes up to the side of it. And we're kind of coming down it, and there's this really tall grass.
Starting point is 01:04:59 There's like, I mean, it's eight feet tall, right? So you kind of come down around it, and as you look down at the bottom, that's what we've seen. My buddy whipped up the camp John. He passed away also. He's another one. We lost friend of mine, John Christopher, best friend. He whips up the camera and he takes, he gets the photo of it.
Starting point is 01:05:19 And what it's doing is it's actually going downhill. So, I mean, we couldn't catch it. We couldn't find it after that, but we've seen it move. We've seen it go. Like he's like, dude, there's, and he took the picture. And he just took the picture, it goes downhill. Like it goes right. There's a valley right beyond it.
Starting point is 01:05:36 It's kind of actually looking in the valley, that direction. That's the direction that it goes straight down. and people are like, oh, it's this or it's that. And you can clearly tell it's not a gorilla. It's not anything that like, and people want to call it faker. I know where this came. No, you don't because we took it. We did it.
Starting point is 01:05:54 Nobody else, you know, so I don't have to argue because I've showed it to a couple of people and they want to be like, this, that, and the third about the photo. I'm like, listen, I don't care what you think. I don't, you can try to disprove it all you want. This is what it is. We took the photo, you know. So I've seen them. I've learned about them.
Starting point is 01:06:14 I've got them on video. I've taken pictures of them. And the same thing. When you look at it, the face looks the same way from the side. It's got the eye bridge, the brow ridge you can kind of see. It's not a chimp. It's not a gorilla. It's like that middle of the road.
Starting point is 01:06:38 And they all look the same. So even, so, I mean, even my mouse pad, I did, I took that side view and made it my mouse pad. That's how, that's how legitimate I, you know, so when you look at that side view, like, they all look the same. So people could say, well, it could be this or it could be that. Well, when I'm replicating that multiple times and all these Bigfoot look the same way, then what? Because that's one thing people have said over all these years. You can't replicate it. Well, I've done it.
Starting point is 01:07:13 And I have the photos to show it. I have the audio to prove it. Like, I have the video of one running away. Like, you know, it's just, it was just. It's intense. It's intense. It's been 15 years of craziness. I, it, I, it's like you can see the head shape, right?
Starting point is 01:07:37 there. I mean, you can see so much detail in this photo about the shape of the head. It is just one of the wildest things that I've seen in my ears of talking to people. And I feel like no one really knows about this photo and it should be more well known. It's kind of because I disappeared for a while. Right. Exactly. Yeah. And then I came back and like I kind of sat in everything and I was going to do a documentary. I've shared information in a documentary. what was it? The last one was. Man Beach of Western New York.
Starting point is 01:08:13 Yes, that's the one. I'll have that link too. Yeah. I mean, there's a couple of the other ones were with Bob Gimlin, a couple other guys, and I've seen Bigfoot.
Starting point is 01:08:23 There's many of them, but I was doing the real research. You know, there's a lot of people that go out on camp and they like the excitement. And, you know, they weren't putting recorders out, letting him run for five days.
Starting point is 01:08:35 a week listening. I mean, it became a job. It really did. And now I want to have fun with it. Like I've learned. I know they're real. I have some of the evidence. People are going to say, well, it's this or well, it's that. I don't know what to tell you. Like, I don't, I'm not gaining anything off of this. I'm a public figure here. I'm an author. I run multiple businesses. If anything, something like this could affect me negatively, right? Sure. So at the end of the day, I'm just kind of putting it out there. Like this is, and it wasn't just me. Like we had a whole group of guys doing this.
Starting point is 01:09:11 And, you know, a good friend of mine, Mike Ann, he had come down and he was like, man, you got some stuff going on. And we ended up just sitting in a parking lot one night at an area. And we had rocks thrown at the truck. And he was like, dude, I can't believe it. Like, he was like, I just can't believe it. Like the things that are going on up here. And it was really hot for a while.
Starting point is 01:09:31 I'll tell you, like, from my first sighting, was about 2012, though, right around 2012. But 2016 and 2017 seemed to be the years for some reason that they were like, they just lived over there. This is Sophia Bush from Work in Progress with Sophia Bush. And it was like, yeah, and the more we habituated and spent time, I mean, every day, like when you're leaving work and you're going in the woods every day, every day, every day, it's probabilities.
Starting point is 01:12:41 Eventually, if I know where they're coming through and I have set the probabilities, the more I'm there, the chances are better. And it was hard. Like I said, it was every day, five days a week for six months. That's so intense. And hats off to you for doing that. That is dedication. I want to make sure that we are able to play this audio real quick.
Starting point is 01:13:01 Sure. Is there anything that you want to say before we hear it? So I hope you can listen to the whole five-minute one on my SoundCloud. But what happens is something comes into the area. You can hear the birds. And then you hear screaming and branch breaking. And then you hear all these huffs and all these other things that transpire. And then toward the end, you hear this.
Starting point is 01:13:25 this little clip. And this little clip is this screaming. But when you, when you listen to the full five minutes in context, you can understand the difference between the crows and in the screaming because they're at different levels and different peaks. And then toward the end of this, in my mind, what I hear is some type of larger person, male, not person, because I thought it was like a family unit. And this is, I'll tell you what I think, what it was. I think the youngsters were coming in, they were hunting a deer, and they were screaming. Ah, ah, oh, I'm doing all this screaming. You can hear the branch breaking, and then in the five-minute clip, you hear this what sounds
Starting point is 01:14:05 like a deer getting tackled. You hear, wham! You hear the exhalation of what sounds to be a deer, and it almost seemed like they're killing it, taking the air out of the deer. And then you hear the young one start screaming again, like, yeah, I did it. Like, this is the whole vision that I got as I listened. to this 35 times. Okay.
Starting point is 01:14:26 And then it's yelling so much and so loud. It seems like the parent comes along and says, ah, ah. And to me, at the end, it sounds like it tells him to go lay down. You hear like, go la da. And that's what it sounds like in this, in that clip. And then that young one takes off and he stops making noise. So it's really weird.
Starting point is 01:14:50 But this was a whole five minute clip. And all you're going to hear is about 13 seconds. of the end of it where the large one sort of sounds like he says go lay down like uh-uh-ah-ah you can hear it in the and it's not replicable as a person and it's not a bear so you can tell the the sound of it like if you play it a couple times all right let's check we'll check it out a few times here you can hear and then it sounds like go lay down it's definitely not i would say I'm definitely agreeing that it is not a crow at the end. So now if you have that whole five minute aspect,
Starting point is 01:15:47 you can hear the branches breaking, snapping, broad, like huge branches. You can hear this. You can hear the exhalation of the deer. I just don't have a full five minutes to sit here and play it for you so you can understand it. This is just the end of the clip. This was caught on this Sony recorder right here. Oh, okay. Cool, cool.
Starting point is 01:16:06 regular Sony. Those are some of the ones that I use because they run the longest five days straight. Links for the SoundCloud to listen to the five minutes will be in the description of the episode as well, guys. So in our last few minutes together, I did have one last question for you. Do you ever use like a tri-field meter when you're out there to monitor for radiation or spikes or anything like that? I've used EMF. A couple of my friends have used tri-fields.
Starting point is 01:16:43 I never had. I believe that, let me just tell you some of my belief real quick. I believe that these things are sort of flesh and blood, but they have some type of ability. And to do things, right, that we don't understand, plain and simple. As far as the paranormal, I don't like to link the two together, but I've witnessed things that I can't explain or understand. So I kind of just have to go into the research now as I've been like,
Starting point is 01:17:23 okay, let's see what happens. Because I don't know if paranormal things are going to happen. I don't know if Bigfoot things are going to happen. I have no idea because I've ran the whole gamut. So it's like, where do I go from here too? I don't know. Like, I'm going to try to get better video. I'm going to try to get better photos.
Starting point is 01:17:40 It's not easy. And when you start sharing a lot of these things, like I said, one of the biggest things they talk about is things are not repeatable. I just showed you how much repeatability I've done over the years in the same areas, in the same types of photos, in the same body structures, in the same things like that. And I did send you the video of the one flailing away, I think. a guy had done a breakdown on that for me years ago. And as it gets up, you can see the arm.
Starting point is 01:18:11 It's watching me as I come up the hill and then it turns around. And it looks like the back on it turns white as it runs away where the sun hits it. So I don't know if I think I sent you that video. I'm not sure. Yeah, I think it was a link, I believe. So I'll have to double check that. Yeah, you can share the link too. So people can see.
Starting point is 01:18:32 Yeah, absolutely. wild wild stuff Ryan you your story I mean the accounts you've lived through are just intense and what is a way is there any ways that people can keep up to date
Starting point is 01:18:49 with what you're doing or do you just go on shows every once in a while or is there anything that you would want to make sure people are aware of in that regard so I've become a little more reserved every now and then I'll write a book there's the new one the most The most recent is Challenger interpretations, and that's about Bigfoot.
Starting point is 01:19:08 There's encountering aliens. There's how Bigfoot found us. There's a bunch of different books that I've written on Amazon. They can follow that. I like to go on shows and kind of just share what we've learned. I've kind of backed off from sharing on YouTube and things like that because it doesn't do me any justice. I'm not there to get rich. I'm not there to, you know, I have my own living.
Starting point is 01:19:30 I have, you know, my life, my family, everything. So Western New York Bigfoot is the YouTube channel. There's some videos out there, but I keep a lot locked up. There's no reason to share anymore. I like to do this, get this out to the people so they can see things, understand that it's real, and kind of make up their own determination. I used to like to take people out with me, and then people started to try to find the area. And I'll tell you one thing, I learned that it seemed like when they started putting
Starting point is 01:20:02 wind turbines in, it affected their movements strategically in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, okay, that's really interesting. That makes you wonder. Hmm. Interesting. I mean, who knows what we are doing to the environment when we utilize things like that, to be honest, but that's, well, what was, what was really funny is they, they kind of put it right, they put six of them right in their core habitat.
Starting point is 01:20:32 Like why did you, why did you choose there? Why didn't you choose the next hill over? Why didn't you chart go? But this has happened. This is another replicated thing. We start talking to people about the wind turbines that are put in their areas where they had seen them. It's almost like they're doing it strategically to push them away. Because after 2017, there was like a four-year thing where there were five years, nothing.
Starting point is 01:20:57 Gone. Zilch, Nata. I didn't catch no sounds. I didn't get nothing on cameras, nothing. I didn't, it was just gone. Couldn't, but now they're starting to circulate back through. And I'm noticing footprints here and there. I'm noticing stragglers.
Starting point is 01:21:14 Like I'm not seeing the big family units like I was in 2016, though. Wild stuff. Ryan, thank you so much for coming on. Again, there's going to be a ton of links for this episode so that you can do further research and check out Ryan's book. and all that good stuff, which I'd recommend they are good. But thank you so much for coming on the show. Ryan, it's always fun to chat with you about Bigfoot.
Starting point is 01:21:39 Hey, no worries, man. I appreciate you having me. Have you ever heard all the accounts of Bigfoot activity around Oak Ridge, Oregon?
