And it listened to me.
It walked out of thicket.
It turned around and looked at me.
Looked up and in this tree there was a monkey man.
And the monkey man jumped down out of the tree.
It started running away.

And now on with the show.
Welcome back to another episode of Bigfoot Q&A.
This week, we've got another question from Simia in the Patreon.
Question for this week is, Sasquatch are famously stinky.
Have they ever been tracked by hounds?
That's very interesting.
Because using this prompt, I was able to find a lot.
lot of information. Now, I don't know if it's exactly the information that you were looking for,
but let's get into it. Was able, of course, always, you know, searching in the older resources,
such as knowing the Sasquatch, that kind of put me on a little bit of a rabbit trail with
Mr. John Green, famous journalist, Bigfoot, I guess you could say Bigfoot,
in Australia,
really,
British Columbia.
And the website,
Cryptomundo,
it's old site.
I believe this was
kept up by Craig,
Woolheater and others.
It's an interesting story,
and I'll have the link in the show notes
for those who want to go deeper.
In August of 1967,
and this is from a response from John Green,
this article is very extensive,
but pretty much he tried to do this.
There are some Bigfoot tracks,
and he had a tracking dog with him.
The dog's name was White Lady.
If you see a picture of John Green and a white dog,
that's White Lady.
And there were some tracks reported,
but the thing was that the tracks were too old,
so the dog couldn't get the scent, unfortunately.
So yeah, that's,
that's a scenario where that has been tried before now a lot of people if you will try to
talk this through with with people they'll say something to the effect of well the trick is
is that you have to know where bigfoot is or just as ben i mean really the best case scenario
would be that you're at the Patterson Gim, Patterson Gimlin film site, and they've just filmed Bigfoot in
1967, and you can have a dog that can smell what's going on combined with the tracks,
combined with the Bigfoot, and then can track the Bigfoot.
And unfortunately, we don't know when lightning is going to strike.
That's the thing, right?
So that's one thing.
Also, the other thing is if you're going to have a dog going after Bigfoot, it usually is not going to end up well.
I was looking through another resource somewhere on the internet.
It's just, we'll leave it out.
It doesn't end up good for the dogs.
there is an interesting report from the BFRO that I'll have in the show note links.
And this is from 1972, from Nevada, Washoe County, Reno area.
It pretty much shows how four feral dogs were chasing a Sasquatch, which is interesting
because most times when you have a dog that's around a big foot area or a Sasquatch area,
they'll start acting freaked out.
They won't know what's going on.
That will happen.
But in this particular report,
you have, I want to say these are Dobermans as well,
which that can be a problematic.
Well, I'm not going to talk bad about Doverman,
but I'm going to say it can be pretty wild if they're feral dogs.
I can only imagine having,
dealt with one of those as a kid and there's an incident with a bunny we had and the bunny
is no longer with us due to the Doverman.
Anyway, that's another story for another time that probably will never happen.
As always, if you have more information that you could provide to me about this,
I'm more than welcoming to you sending me an email on Bigfoot Society at gmail.com
as I'm still really learning myself.
But if you have a situation where maybe you know someone that tracked a big foot with a hound,
or maybe you tracked a big foot yourself with a hound,
or you know of an instance in a book or on a website or a YouTube channel to YouTube video,
please send me an email on Bigfoot Society at Gmail.com so I can get more knowledge.
and I will answer again.
I'll share this in the next Q&A.
You can always send me more info
if you're like, man, I can't believe you missed that
or be cool if you added this to it.
Send me an email, Bigfoot Society at gmail.com.
And don't forget, I'm going to have some links
in the show notes that you can dig deeper
over on the Cryptomundo website regarding this.
