So stay with us.
All right, Bigfoot Society.
You've got the privilege of talking to Mr. Greg Lambert today.
Greg is an individual that has had some really interesting Bigfoot experiences over the years.
And he is on the show to talk about those today.
He's from the great state of West Virginia.
And he's also been a BFRO investigator for about 11 years now.
So welcome to the show.
Greg, how are you doing today, sir?
I'm doing well.
Thanks for having me.
Absolutely.
Absolutely. Whenever I have an individual like yourself where you have more than a few years of expertise about the subject, I always like to start with what was it that first got you into the Bigfoot subject to begin with?
When I was around 13 years old, my father and I had going to scout our deer stand locations.
Excuse me, we rented a property at the time we were actually living there.
And there was about 100 acres.
And it was also a Christmas tree farm.
And we went up above the Christmas tree area.
There were roads all over the mountains.
So we had roads.
We could walk and hadn't gotten daylight yet.
We went up and I hadn't dressed warm enough, so I got cold.
And I told my dad, I said, I'm going back to the house.
I'm freezing. So I started back down the road, and we were probably a half a mile up the mountain.
And as I walked, I would stop and listen. And off to my left on the ridge, I heard footsteps in the leaves.
Of course, it was November, and all the leaves were down. I couldn't really see anything,
but I didn't make too much of it. It stopped when I stopped. So I continued walking,
and stopped again and heard footsteps, just a few, but then when I stopped, it would stop.
And this continued on until I got really scared and ran for the house,
and then I could hear it coming through the brush as I was running,
just breaking branches and the normal sounds that some would make that was big running through
the woods and the leaves, and got to the house that never saw anything.
My dad came down later, never had any incident at all, never saw anything.
But when we lived at this property, we had some strange goings on, and we just attributed it to maybe the place was haunted or we didn't know.
Strange sounds.
Strange things happened from time to time.
We had a root cellar that was full of potato bins that the door had swollen on it.
and you had to really jerk hard on the door to get it open.
And I had been in there previously,
and the evening before got up the next morning, the door was open,
and I knew I had shut it and latched it,
and couldn't tell if there were potatoes missing, of course.
There were hundreds of potatoes in there,
but just strange things like that got me thinking.
And then later on, when the Internet came out
and people were talking about this stuff,
I was reading accounts other people had where they had been paralleled out of the woods in the same fashion I had.
And I've talked to other witnesses as well who have had that experience.
I'm like, okay, so I had a big foot experience.
That's what really got me interested.
And was it a thing where after you had this experience, then you were really interested in it the rest of your life?
or did you take a little time off and then maybe get back into it in later years?
I continually was interested in the subject.
At first, I thought these things are just in the northwest.
And after the Patterson-Gimlam film came out,
and I never even dreamed that Bigfoot was all over the country,
much less in West Virginia.
And then the legend of Balgy Creek came out
in 72 and saw that at the drive-in.
And I'm like, when that hand came through the window,
that just really freaked me out.
But I thought that is not in the Northwest.
So what's up with that?
Then do a little more research on the subject
and everything I could find, every article I could find,
and books would read,
then search of was really cool,
something that you know that Leonard Nimoy had done like that that got me even more interested in the subject
and then lo and behold in 2012 i had found the bfro website and discovered they were having an expedition
in west virginia went to the expedition we had a class a sighting by not just one but probably five or six
individuals on a thermal camera and that just really lit the fire after that. Gotcha. I could
definitely see how that would. How close was what they had seen through the thermal to them?
They were thinking it was probably 30 yards away or so. And then when they went back in the
daytime and did a recreation, this thing had belly crawled up on them. And,
was more like 15, 10 or 15 yards away, much closer than they had thought before.
Their thermal camera did not record.
Our group was on up the mountain from them, but on the same trail.
And they called us on the radio and said, can you all get back down here?
We think we have something.
We gathered up our things.
We had just settled down, started back down the mountain, and there was a wood knock.
and Russ Jones was actually leading my group and he said,
did you hear that?
It'll be gone when we get there.
They know we're coming.
And sure enough, it was like a minute or so later.
They called us on the radio and said, never mind, it's gone.
We continued on down and talked to them, though, to see what they had experienced.
And, of course, everybody was pretty excited.
So, yeah.
Wow, I can only imagine that after that, then things probably
really amped up for you. Were you at the point then where you're starting to go out on expeditions
that are maybe outside the BFRO, maybe private things, or maybe going out by yourself?
Yeah, I've been out. It's spooky to go out night by yourself. I've been out with other individuals,
Monongahela, for one. I don't know if you know who he is, but he does a lot of our sound analysis.
Right. I've been out with him at his top secret location. That was also in West Virginia,
but we have a group called East Coast Expeditions, and that's run by Charles Kimbrough.
And we're all BFR investigators, but it's just a private group, and we can just invite anybody,
friends or family along, whoever, that's like a non-paid type thing. We do that on the side,
because a lot of times they're not just enough expeditions going around that you can get to,
or they're quite a distance away.
Okay, so that's really interesting.
Have you had any significant things happen on any of the East Coast expeditions you've been on?
General things, calls, we've gotten answered, wood knocks, stuff like that.
I think the, I don't remember if they're kind of always.
run together after time. I don't remember was an East Coast or BFRO expedition. I had a rock thrown at us.
We were, there were two groups. One was on an opposite trail, but these two trails converged into one
trail. And myself and two other individuals got to this intersection where we're to meet,
and we sat down, turned our lights off, and I sat there and thirmed around a little bit.
bit and we played with a bard owl back and forth called it in one of the gentlemen had a harmonica
so i told him to pull his harmonica out and play a little to see if we could attract some attention
and after he stopped we got a rock thrown in from behind us up on the ridge and hit the tree in
front of us just cracked like a shot and that really got our attention i thirmed up the hill but
couldn't see anything, but that was the first really eerie, startling interaction that I've had.
Have you ever been fortunate enough to have a Class A visual sighting yourself during any of these?
I have not to this point. I'm hoping. I'm really hoping. Now, I've seen eye shine or I glow. That's really strange. I can't explain.
it, you know, what mammals would have the ability of bioluminescence.
I have seen that, something that I could not explain.
But as far as a Class A, no.
I haven't gotten that fortunate to this point, but still hopeful.
Absolutely.
And I'm right there with you.
So Eyeglow, though, is such an interesting thing because it is a thing where I feel like
it's maybe I'm just starting to hear more of it on my show over the last year, but did you notice
a certain color to the eye glow that you were able to see?
It's actually varied from like an orangest color to like a blue white light. I was in Kentucky
on an expedition and Charles Kimbrough and I were together leaving camp. Everyone else was out
of camp except for the two people who were actually staying in camp. And as we hiked out,
we saw down near campsite. It looked like somebody standing, looking down at a table with a
headlamp on. The light was actually shining down like they were looking at something on their
table or looking for something in their campsite. So we called back on the radio to see if
anyone who's still there, and they said, no, everyone was gone.
So we're like, what are we seeing?
We thermed it, couldn't see anything, because it was kind of like behind brush,
didn't really get a hot spot in Pete's signature,
but we definitely saw the light.
So, yeah, that's kind of weird.
I've had it happen directly behind me when I was looking the other direction,
and the person said, now turn around,
there's eyeshine on the hill right behind you.
And I slowly turned and they said,
oh, it's gone before I ever got turned around to see it.
So that's happened a couple of times.
I'd happen in Kentucky.
I was with Nate Moyer.
And I thought he was going to pass out on me.
And I said, what's wrong?
I thought, Lord, there's a squatch 10 feet behind this or something.
And he said, I shine, I shine.
But as soon as I turn around it, it was gone again.
But yeah, it's varied as far as the light color goes.
Absolutely.
When you had seen that eye glow in Kentucky,
were you able to tell roughly how high off the ground level it was?
No, couldn't really tell.
It was definitely not down on the ground.
It would have definitely been, if it was not a squatch,
it would have been something up in a tree,
but too far apart.
for like an owl, something like that.
So it definitely wasn't dear eyesign or just unexplained.
So you have to go with, what's the probability?
What are we out here looking for?
Oh, absolutely.
And you're more than likely going into spots
where there have been multiple things experienced.
And so they're proven spots.
And that actually was a follow-up question.
I was going to ask you was how far apart
could you approximate that those different eye glow spheres were or the two eyes that you had seen?
Sometimes with the distance, it's hard to judge, but probably around 10 inches apart.
Wow, that's definitely more than a normal humans would be for sure.
Exactly.
When you are, when you've been out in these expeditions, have you ever experienced any vocalizations or sounds that would be hard to explain?
Yeah, definitely. We were on an expedition in Kentucky and Monongahela and Charles Kimbrough and I had hiked down to a lake, steep trail.
there were some people there who were camping.
I believe there were two tents maybe there.
These people were out.
They were sound asleep.
Nobody else was around.
And they had me do a whoop and a knock.
And on the other side of the lake, we got a response.
We did another whoop, and it was coming closer
around the lake.
So I said, what do we do if it comes over here?
We didn't really think this through, but then it got to a point, I don't know if it
could see us, if it winded us, whatever, but it stopped and there was no more
interaction after that.
But to get a call, to get a response to a call you done is great.
And then it actually starts coming towards you is really exciting.
Oh, yeah, that has to be just a thing that really gets you amped up.
Has there ever been a time when you've experienced what could be considered infrasound in the field?
I have never experienced that.
Now, we've had people on an expedition that experienced that while the expedition was going on.
I believe that happened to Ron Bowles once on an expedition.
We were on trying to think that was Kentucky.
I think it was Kentucky.
Like I say, they'll run together at some point.
But yeah, I've never experienced that.
Now, I have experienced the feeling of being watched.
And this was in broad daylight.
This is where we lived, where I had something following me out of the woods.
I had a little Honda X-L-100 when I was like 14.
I sold grit newspapers, mowed grass, bought this motorcycle.
and like I said there were roads all over this mountain so I had ridden way out along a ridge
that I'd never been to before and just stopped it was a bright sunny afternoon and put the
kickstand down sit there and listen and enjoyed the scenery and just all of the sudden got that
fight or flight feeling the hair on my neck stood up and the woods had just gone dead quiet
and I just freaked and thought, I've got to get out of here right now,
and I started that bike up as fast as I could and just bolted.
I've never had that feeling since then, even on an expedition.
And it was strange.
It was the middle of the day, perfectly clear, calm, and just freaked out.
That is really strange.
Just to double check.
So it sounds like that is the one time that you could consider that.
you may have felt that you're in a situation where I'd rather not be here and I would if I could get out of here right now I would definitely get out of here right now.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I never experienced the infrasound, but definitely got that feeling of being watched and the fighter flight got to go.
Besides, so let's see, the eye glow is definitely one of those weird things.
Have there ever been any other things you've experienced while on an expedition that were hard for you to explain, but that might not be necessarily related to Bigfoot?
Lights, orbs, people see those from time to time.
I spoke to a man that used to be a federal game warden and asked him if he'd ever seen anything in the woods that he couldn't explain.
I was searching for maybe a possible Bigfoot siding.
And he said other than lights, he'd never experienced that.
I think in Kentucky on the one expedition we were on, there were people seeing lights.
And yet that's just strange.
That's kind of hard to explain.
Absolutely.
Is that something where you do that often try to talk to individuals that.
that are maybe involved with forestry or wildlife or law enforcement to see if they have any things to report?
Yeah, from time to time, a lot of times they're reluctant to say anything for fear of their jobs.
I know Menongahela, he uses that name to protect himself on the line of work that he does.
I think he's starting to come out a little bit more and more and possibly he's going to do a book here in the future.
And he actually did a chapter in Charles Kimbrough's book, Squatcham 101.
But, yeah, most of the time, people are just reluctant to say much.
Yeah, I definitely agree with that.
It's, I have not had much luck myself with those conversations.
But have you found that there's a way to try to start those conversations with individuals
in those fields that works better than maybe other ways?
usually I'll just start out with have you ever seen anything strange that you can't really explain
something like that I know I had an individual that I know and highly respect I actually go to church
with who saw a squash last spring as he was going to pick up his son from ball practice
and ask him if he would like to do a report.
And he said, I don't really want my name associated with this forever.
And I'm going to hear, it's totally anonymous.
We won't reveal your name.
People are just reluctant to, he told me about the whole situation,
but people were just reluctant to file a report.
Many times I'll have people tell me things and we'll file a report.
But generally, I'll try to stop.
start out by saying, have you ever seen anything that you couldn't really explain or something
that wasn't supposed to be there?
I think that sounds like a good way to try to handle it.
Sometimes if you jump right into the, hey, you've seen Bigfoot, people, catches them
off guard, let's just say, in a way that yours would be a little bit easier to get into it.
Do you have a certain leaning towards what you think Bigfoot is at this point?
I think they're flesh and blood, probably a descendant of giganticus Blackie.
That's my belief.
I know a lot of people think they're interdimensional creatures.
The Native Americans thought they had some kind of spiritual powers a lot of times,
but that just could be because they didn't really understand.
But if they're leaving tracks, they're making sounds, you find Scat,
They're doing wood knocks, tree twists, breaking branches.
All right, quick quiz for the hiring managers out there.

I think they're a flesh and blood creature.
Obviously, we've got the Patterson Gimlin film, and that's still some of the best evidence out there.
They're a physical creature, and I think they're a great ape of some sort.
Gotcha.
The way I look at it is very similar in that is some kind of physical creature, because, as you said, yeah, I can leave tracks and all that good stuff.
I think there's probably some weird stuff that sciences has to catch up with and that
that kind of could explain away the reports you get where it's seen doing weird stuff,
but I would say I'm pretty close to what you're saying as well.
Do you have any reports that you've taken over the years that really stand out for
interesting encounters in your area of West Virginia?
There was one gentleman who saw one when he was fishing and it was crossing,
the creek and it was using a large walking stick. That was unusual that you would see this thing
crossing a creek with a walking stick like it needed the stick to get across the creek or was
it carrying the stick to use for tree knocks. That just unusual. There was one incident
of a preacher who told us about two squashes in his garden digging potatoes, and one of them was blonde.
And he said, I didn't really want to tell anyone because people, you tell people you've seen a
big foot, and they think you're crazy, but to tell someone I saw two, and one of them was
blonde, he said, I just didn't want to go there, but that one really still.
out to as far as I hadn't heard that much about the color variations, the wide range of color
variations, and the fact that they were stealing food out of a garden.
That is some really, really unique stuff.
I've taken a few reports from West Virginia over the years, and you get some really specific
details that you don't really get from other parts of the country.
and for example, what you just said, where it was using a walking stick.
That's pretty cool.
It reminds me of a report that I took from the Whites Run Road area over by Seneca Rock.
And the truck driver reported that it had, so it also had glowing eyes, like you were saying.
So I glow, yellow glowing eyes.
But it also had a vine across its chest too, which is very strange stuff.
also have you gotten any reports from your area of people that have all of a sudden become paralyzed or can't move when they're in the same area of Bigfoot?
No, haven't really heard that from anyone.
I'm sure that that would breathe you and paralyze you in fear if you're not expecting to see something like that, especially with the size of the creature.
the individual I was telling you about that saw one, as he was on his way to pick up his son from ball practice, told me he said it disappeared.
I said, you mean it stepped into the woods? It went down over the bank. He said, no. It just disappeared.
I said, okay. I'm not one to believe in portals and things like that. So I thought, what could this possibly mean?
chatting with Russ Jones about it and his theory was and I agreed with him your mind is seeing
something that's not supposed to be there and it just blocks it out you're seeing something that's
say okay this doesn't exist is this what I'm really seeing and you it's almost like a lost time
thing, your mind just goes blank and said, okay, this is not real. That's like the same thing about
people frozen in fear. Your mind does funny things under high stress situations. It is very strange
how the mind works and sometimes we forget things because I think if we remember them,
we probably would have a hard time dealing with reality.
And I think sometimes, like you said, this plays into the whole subject.
But I also have gotten a weird report.
Do you know where Pocahontas County is?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
There was a guy I talked to where a black, he saw a black fog-like form crossing the road,
which then turned into a Sasquatch.
And I've gotten that, I've gotten the opposite of that out in the Mount Hood area,
of Oregon near a zigzag where it was it actually turned into a black fog and then went across the creek as a fog cloud would do.
But very strange stuff.
That's a thing where, you know, I listen to people's stories and make sure they're documented.
But we're not at the point yet where we have a specimen.
and so we're not able to really fully study what they can actually do.
And I think maybe if we ever get to that point, then we will be able to see, okay,
what is something that can be replicated if there are some that we can study,
like Jane Goodall was studying in her lifetime, not Bigfoot, but also like chimpanzees.
But in this area that you're based out of in West Virginia, are you also encountering other things or other accounts from people that are like, I haven't seen a Bigfoot, but I have encountered this other weird thing, which I have no idea what it was.
I don't get that so much.
I know Les O'Dell has had some wild reports of things.
I think one of them was up in Canaan Valley.
But yeah, I don't really get that much from people.
I pretty much stay with the Bigfoot stuff
other than people saying maybe a ghost
or something like that,
but no,
as far as that,
no other cryptids really.
Gotcha.
Do you have any advice for individuals
that,
you know,
are interested in the Bigfoot subject
and they're wanting to go out
and try to see if they can
find things themselves
or start to do research?
Do you have any advice for you?
regarding that? I do gifting for, we have a gap year program here where students come and spend a year
and they study the Bible and they own college credits. It's a beautiful location, but most of these
students will come to our church. And I'll usually find one or two individuals in the group
who are interested in Bigfoot. And when they graduate this program,
I'll buy them a copy of Charles Kimbrough's book, Squatting 101.
And say, here you go.
If you're interested in starting some Bigfoot research, start out with reading Charles
the book, and that'll help point you in the right direction.
I think that's good advice, definitely, to maybe not start from scratch yourself,
but to figure out what are some good people out there, like Squatcham 101, where you mentioned,
where you can, you don't have to start from the absolute beginning.
You can get a foundation and maybe you can also look at it in a critical eye.
You don't have to take everything from it, but you can learn a whole ton from it.
Now, these students, are they from other countries or from all over the U.S.?
They're from around the U.S., yeah.
Okay, cool, cool.
And I'll get a few stories out of people there once in a while as well.
Oh, that's cool.
So once they find out, you're probably the Bigfoot guy in the church, I would imagine.
Yeah, that's me.
Yeah, I get that.
People find out pretty quick.
So have you heard any interesting things from other states then as part of you meeting these students from around the U.S.?
Yeah, a few things.
One of them actually worked with a tribe and would tell, they would tell stories of,
Native Americans, they would tell stories to these kids.
But actually, I was at a doctor's appointment.
This is a funny story.
And my doctor is originally from Ohio.
And I was talking.
Sometimes I'll bring up Bigfoot in the conversation,
or they say, what do you do for a hobby?
And he said, let me tell you a story.
And I said, okay, here we go.
His father had actually seen a Bigfoot while he was deer hunting.
and didn't want to say anything really when he got back to camp
thought that bicycle thing I'm crazy
and so he finally confided in another individual
who was putting near him as well
and he said I saw it too
so that was funny that he had a bigfoot story
that is pretty cool
and sometimes you just have to put it out there
and you will be surprised at what you do find
I know some people, they do that even just by having like a sticker on the back of your car,
and that can lead to some really interesting conversations in itself.
Yeah.
Going off of, you're into this for about 11 years, so you've probably heard a lot, you've seen a lot.
What do you feel that the best evidence for Bigfoot existing in West Virginia is?
Oh, gosh.
I would say probably the many eyewitness reports.
I know I was out around a Blackwater Falls area one time,
and I had on, probably had on my, one of my bigfoot hats of one of many,
and we were on a pizza joint.
And I had a gentleman walk up to him and say,
hey, I believe they exist.
He said, we saw tracks going up over the bank when we were kayaking.
And I said, oh, you're going.
He should file a report.
And he's like, nah.
He said, but if you're looking for him, he said, you should go out to the dump.
He said, people see him there all the time.
So I've said, yeah, I think just eyewitness reports.
You can't say that these people are not seeing this creature all around the state.
I agree with you 100%, which is why I have spent years doing this show.
I think it's very important that stuff that is seen is documented, like yourself.
It's also important to try to get documentation through different places like the BFRO.
So there can be actual investigators that go out and look.
Have there been any interesting investigations that you've been a part of over the last few years with the BFRO that come to mind?
There have been some that haven't been reported that I've tried to get reported, such as the individual I was telling you about.
I had a state trooper told me a story of him up on Dali Sads.
He and several other troopers were camping up there and they could feel and hear something stomping around their camp.
And he said they all had their guns out and their flashlights out looking and calling out whatever was out there.
And it never would come in where they could see it.
But they were pretty shook up about the whole situation.
but then again, didn't want to file a report.
It's hard at times, I don't know why people, if they just don't want to,
they're still afraid they're going to be ridiculed or somebody's going to find out
might cost them their job if somebody thinks they're mentally unstable,
but it's just, it's hard to get people to file reports.
And I've talked to many individuals who've had incidents and,
they just don't want to file a report.
Why do you think it's important for individuals to get past that fear and to be able to file what happened with something like the BFRO or even report it to a podcast like the one we're on now?
We want to prove these things exist so we can, I don't know if they really need our protection.
They're doing pretty well on their own, but so we can get them protected.
but it develops patterns.
If people are seeing and experiencing the same things all across the country over and over again,
that helps document that.
Plus, the more we document these experiences, the more we can learn about these things and how they live, how they survive.
We, as humans, we're curious as well.
They're curious too, but we want to know more and more.
more about these things. And as people file reports, that helps us to learn more about them.
And I think a lot of, I think the government really has bodies. I've heard too many stories
about them being killed on military bases and whatnot. And all of a sudden somebody shows up
and the bodies are disappear or whatever. But I think land usage is probably the main reason
that the government won't say they exist
because of what it would do to land usage.
With Darby Orkuts, DNA study that's going on,
maybe that will shed more light into it.
We'll get some answers,
but then what do you compare the DNA to?
I've seen it listed as part human,
other things, say a known primate,
we have to compare it to.
absolutely and I'm right there with it and it's almost like you need to get that evidence where an individual can say okay we saw it and we saw it leave do something that would have left the hair on a fence post and then I went over to the fence post and I got the hair and so that you can say yes I saw it and then this this hair or whatever evidence you have is
directly from the creature.
I think that would be a great thing to do besides, yeah,
I don't know if we're at the point where we need to have an actual, like, body on the slab.
If we have gotten to the point where people like Darby have really amazing skills for doing DNA testing
and they're really going after it, it would be cool if we could prove it without that.
And I've also heard stories and I've had people that.
that have talked to me off record and hey we saw this on the side of the road in Oregon and then
it disappeared when we went back there and there were like black SUVs and you hear a variant of
that story every once in a while but it's just it's very interesting there's a lot of things
going on behind the background that hopefully will will come to light soon enough we'll see
in your years of talking to people that have had sightings through the BFRO
Do you have, do you remember a conversation where the witness got a really good look at what they were seeing and they were able to convey what that looked like to you in a way that was very impressive?
Most of the individuals that I've had reports come to me, they didn't really get an up close look like.
some of the hunters looking through a scope.
I know there's a lot of those on the BFRO.
One that comes to mind was, I believe, in Tucker County,
where a guy was looking at it through a scope.
And the general consensus when this happens is it looked too human.
I was afraid to pull the trigger.
It just looked human.
And I thought, what if it's someone in a suit?
And then am I going to be charged with murder?
or what is this thing?
I don't, is it fart human?
Is it a wild human?
And so they wouldn't shoot it.
But most of the individuals that I've get reports from,
they saw it at a distance or it was a road crossing
and they didn't really get a good look at the face.
Yeah, I would agree.
The conversations you hear with hunters
where they are able to look through a scope
and, oh man, I'm thinking one specifically with,
Actually, it was on Russ Jones's show that he used to do.
And it was with Daryl Collier from down southeast Oklahoma and Area X.
And it was the same type of conversation like Daryl had it in its sights through the scope.
And he wasn't able to squeeze a trigger because at the end of the day, he didn't know if it was a human and he didn't want to be charged for something.
Yeah, I think that story gets repeated over and over again.
but yeah that's an area i would absolutely love to go to sometimes they get so much stuff there it's
just wild i was thinking that maybe that's if they were going to harvest a bigfoot that would
probably be where it would come from but i think some of them have changed their opinion on that as
well there.
Yeah, if you're going off of the book that came out a few years ago, because that was their thing
for years is they were trying to get a specimen, right? And they had the whole protocol,
like, okay, if we get one, what do we do? And are we just, are we taking the whole thing?
Are we taking parts? And how do we get out of here safely without being taken out by other
ones, but then I think they switched over to trying to just get like photos. But that, I think that was
actually before they had the split in the group. So who knows, there's not a lot of information
that's come out from the group after that split. Who knows what we've got going on now down
there. But Greg, this has been a really interesting conversation. I've learned a lot more about
West Virginia and what's going on with Bigfoot in there. We don't get to talk to a lot of guys from
West Virginia, but I do appreciate you coming on the show, and I want to make sure that you were
able to share everything that you had come to the show with today. I just wanted to mention about
Dr. Meldrum. What a huge hole that just kind of leaves in the Bigfoot community, and I spoke with
him this past year at West Virginia Bigfoot Festival. He had been there for several years, and he was just
a great guy to talk to and so much knowledge, just a fantastic guy, just a really nice man.
And we stood and talked about the DNA study and could you get DNA from from hair?
And I questioned him about legend meets science and when that was going to come out.
And we chatted about that and he was really looking forward to that coming out soon.
And yeah, just my condolences still to his family.
And it's just a huge loss to the Bigfoot community.
I agree 100%. And there have been so many individuals that have been actually lost in this community.
Over the last few months in 2025, it is, it's just a lot to deal with.
And it reminds me there's been certain conversations I've had over the years where it's like,
what are we going to do when certain people, when we lose certain people, like, who are going to be,
what will we do when it's that time to step up?
make sure things keep moving in the community and like guys it's right now it is at bat like right
now there's so many people that have moved on that we're it make sure you're doing the right
type of research that you're documenting things the right way that you are talking to the right
people and that the information gets out there and you know when disclosure and does come about
that we are prepared to do the right things regarding conservation or things of that nature.
There's going to have to be a ton of people that step up for sure.
I'm the same mindset of Russ Jones and Brad Kenon.
I want to be there when they announce it.
They said, we want to be right there in the front rows.
And I told you.
That would be something, wasn't it?
Yeah.
Good stuff.
I wasn't a break.
I told you all these years.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I hear you.
But, Greg, is there a way that, let's say if people want to report something about the areas that we've been talking about today in West Virginia, how would you recommend that they go about doing that?
They can go to BFRO.net and file report and just put my name down for an investigator.
They can contact me on Facebook under Gregory Lambert, and I will respond to that as well.
but the more reports we get
the documentation on the BFRO
that just helps build our case.
Absolutely. Thank you so much for coming on the show.
Greg, it's been a pleasure talking to you
and I hope you have a great rest of your day.
Thanks, Jeremy. I appreciate you having me on.
You do the same as well.
Before we wrap this episode, I want to say something
directly to a very specific group of listeners.
If you're in the military, any branch, or forces, and if you've seen something that no one can explain,
or if you're a national park ranger or forestry worker who's been told to stay quiet,
if you're a pilot who's seen something strange down on the ground,
or if you're with the FBI, a federal agency, or working intelligence,
and you've stumbled upon something you're not allowed to talk about,
and if you're a firefighter, paramedic, or search-and-rescue responder,
who's heard screams or found tracks that didn't make sense.
If you're in the logging industry on a remote oil field or trucker with government contracts,
and you've had something happen that you've never told a soul,
and if you're a biologist, a wildlife specialist, or a field researcher under contract,
who has found evidence you're not allowed to report,
if you're a pastor, a missionary, or someone on a spiritual retreat,
and you saw something that shook your faith,
or if you work in the shadows, CIA, NSA, or anything with clearance,
and you've seen what the public hasn't,
then I want to talk to you.
