So stay with us. All right, Bigfoot Society. You've got the privilege of talking to Casey today. Casey is an individual that reached out to me about an experience he had up in Southwest Washington, and he had heard me on the Blurry Creatures Show recently. So thank you to those guys for having me on to talk about the Ohio Bigfoot flap that was going on early March, 26. And Casey was able to reach out. One interesting piece of info about Casey is Casey does also have prior law enforcement.

years of service there as well. So that might come into play, we'll see. But Casey, welcome to the show. How are you doing today, sir? Doing great. Thank you for allowing me to be on the show. Absolutely. And this is such a cool area that we're going to be talking about.

I mean, it is wild, it's remote. It's out there by Mount St. Helens and Tootle. Casey, is there anything else that you would want? the listeners to know about yourself for contacts before we get going. So Northwest guy grew up, raised, and one of those that would, skeptic would be fair to say for sure, even though I was in law enforcement. I'm not saying skeptic of anything such as Bigfoot. But that said, yeah, that's pretty much my background, retired police officer. That's awesome.

Casey, feel free to take us back to what was going on that day, the year, the time of year, and what you guys experienced out there north of Tootle and Silver Lake. Yep, yep. Okay. So afternoon, beautiful, sunny, warm day, July of 2012, driving along Tower Road, straight stretch, heading out to see family and my wife's family. And so I was with my wife, my son, and his friend, and we were on a straight stretch, like I said,

going around 55. And this is July of 2012 again. And about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, looking straight ahead, I'm driving. And literally on the right side, my right, this giant and I would say jet black on two feet creature

of some sort is standing there and I'm probably 100 150 yards away from this thing just looking at it and then before I could even say anything all of a sudden it's like a blur this thing just

jets across the highway in an instant. And so as I'm like pulling up to this very spot where this just vanishes, it's a clear cut to my left. And I roll the windows down just in thought, what did I see? And I'm looking into the clear cut and I'm stopped on Tower Road. And my wife literally says, I wish I wouldn't have saw.

what I just saw. And I said, oh, I'm so thankful you saw it because I can you imagine being the only person that sees something that you don't know what you saw, but you know what it wasn't. This, you know, I've seen deer, I've seen elk, I've seen bear in the wild, I've seen, you name it. And it was none of those things. It was simply unexplainable. And again, gassing just in size, he was so big. Ten plus. us feet, jet block. And my wife described this thing as, she goes, someone's like, it's like they pulled a prank on us.

Like there's this big screen across the whole entire highway. And they just took the camera and just, and the projector, so to speak, in the film across the screen. It was so fast. It was a blur. And then the clear cut, I'm just sitting there for a good, 10 plus seconds easy detect nothing I see nothing

and it's like if it's an animal I'm going to see it we're going to see it because it's a clear cut and at this moment my son he's like he wasn't looking ahead and he and his friend were in the back seat and he's like don't

tell the story people are going to think you guys are crazy kind of deal And we were already thinking that. We weren't going to say anything because we didn't know what it was other than to say we know what it absolutely wasn't. And so, you know, we collected ourselves and continued on our way and literally didn't tell even family when we got to where we were going and told a few, you know, select friends here and there over the years. but it was just it was crazy but I can remember just like yesterday and here we are 2026 and this was 14 years ago, nearly 14 years ago

and it's as fresh as then and I told my wife the other day I finally got the nerve to tell hey dear I'm going to do this be on the show and she was good with it she was like yeah that's that's we saw what we saw we don't know what it was she went so far as Stephen asked close friends who hunt.

Have you ever seen a bear on two feet? You know, she was trying to, to explain it, you know, as if, as if something could move that lightning fast. And no, no, there's no way. There's no such thing. She didn't ask if, you know, they'd ever seen Bigfoot, that kind of thing. But she was, she's still just, it's just so baffling. And so that literally was the experience.

I mean, it lasted all of seconds at most. But it was unmistakable what we saw. And it was huge, absolutely huge in pitch black. And just in it, Tower Road at that stretch is a good, you know, this is a guess, 30 plus fee easy, wide, probably more. and there's plenty of shoulder on each side. But this thing just was jetted. Just lightning.

I'm talking lightning speed. That is so fascinating. It is in an area if you look. I mean, so let's say we know Tower Road. So if you're looking at Tower Road, I mean, you can look at Silver Lake and Tootle, and that's like high, that's 504 that goes over to sing. Helens, but like this area that you're referring to really goes into that, that center area

where there, I mean, there's roads in there, but it's not like, you know, major roads like I5 or 504 or 505. I mean, you're in there, right? Yeah, this, yeah, this is, so where we were was a good seven plus miles or so off of I5 up tower road. There was the straight stretch just right before that area or that turn. There was a house in the distant area to the right. Yeah, not too far off the road, but it was literally just right next to the road. Yeah, so just mind-boggling.

So talk about, well, I got a few questions for you. So you mentioned it was, it was, you know, just a few seconds of seeing it. You know, I guess we could say blurry run across. We'll use the word blurry a few times in honor of the guys over at blurry creatures. So it blurred across the road, ran pretty quick, right? So I love those guys. Now, did you get a chance to look at it before it started running that way across the road? Like, did you get a good look at it?

No, actually, it was, see, see, this is the, this is the crazy thing. I mean, it was, this thing standing still two feet and just massive. And when I, I can't even say it was running because I never saw it touch the ground. It was so just like, I wouldn't say an operation, but kind of, you'd almost think so. And where did it go? and how could it have literally like disappeared? Did it go to ground? It didn't go to ground.

Again, with my law enforcement background, I would have been able to see, you know, for sure, you know, if there's things, hunting, tracking, that sort of thing. And it just was gone. And there was nowhere literally for it to go. So I didn't get a facial, neither did my wife. She just, we both had the clear vision of it standing. and then just to go back to blur,

it was just a literal blur across Tower Road. It's just crazy, absolutely crazy. It really is. You mentioned it was Jet Black, and you were estimating 10 feet, potentially 10 feet tall around there, yeah. It was 10 feet all day long. It was so, so giant.

I'm a sports guy. I've seen athletes that, you know, the seven footers, and there's nothing, I can't even begin to say. It was 10 plus, and I say that just because it's, again, a rough estimate. But, you know, I'm 150 yards at least down the highway. I had a straight stretch, and you can see this thing. But again, going 55, I'm closing on it in a second, and thereabouts.

and this thing was easy 10 plus. I know it sounds crazy. And, yeah, so. Okay. So, I mean, you mentioned your sports guy. So let's say, you know, Shaquille O'Neal, 7-1. That's what Google says. Oh, 7-1, but way higher than way bigger.

Oh, it. Oh, yeah, 100%. And yeah, this dwarfed, he dwarfed him. This thing was just absolutely massive and giant. And, you know, when you see any clips of, you know, what they call Bigfoot, it's, you know, they show this lumbering, whatever, some of the stuff you see. And there's, this thing moved so, you know, instantly. Like just like my wife said.

It was as if a cartoon, like you take the cartoon and shows Roadrunner, that kind of thing, just literally just flash. And so I have my suspicions as to what I saw. And I can't say natural because there is nothing to explain it in the natural that I've ever seen. So take what you will from that, but because physically what can do that. And it was, like I said, it was a beautiful, clear afternoon and there's just nowhere for it to go. And so, yeah, and I'm just still so thankful my wife saw it because, you know, she's a school teacher. and it's the last thing she would have ever wanted to see honestly. And she saw it, and she can explain it just the same way as can I.

And yeah. Gotcha. Now, can I ask you a question? Yeah, absolutely. Have you ever heard of a story anything similar to something like this? Because it was so, I mean, it's not like I go around listening to, to show as blurry creatures is a hoot. I just recently caught on to that.

But it's not like I'm into looking for stories like this. Right, right. So you've ever heard of it. It's interesting, and it was something I was going to bring up too, is that, you know, you listen to your account. And one of the things that does get brought up sometimes is when people see them move very, quickly, but very smoothly.

And something that's brought up a lot is like it was so smooth and it was so quick. It was almost like it was on cross-country skis. It was just like it just glided right across. And I want to say I have heard a few people saying that it just, you know, looked blurry as it went across. And of course, you know, that's sometimes the joke too, right? why don't we get any good pictures of Bigfoot's because it's blurry all the time. But so I would say, you know, I've heard similar things to how you've described the way that it moved across the road. And I mean, I've even talked to an individual from Pennsylvania where, let me think.

So they were filming, they were filming the Bigfoot. and the way that they saw on film as opposed to they could look down, they could see it through the viewfinder, but they could also look at it and it looked different, which is very interesting. So I don't know like if it can, whatever this is and whatever it can do, if it can affect the way we're looking at it.

Some people think that it can affect our eyes and that's why it might be blurry because of frequencies. It's a lot of congestion theories there, right? Let me just say, this is how quick I would say this thing was. So it was an easy 40-yard distance this thing covered just from where it was standing to, and this is even being generous to, in saying only 40 yards, because it was much further than that.

but let's say a 40 yard distance you get the sprinters for the you know NFL combines and that sort of thing they run a four a lightning guy is four two you know that's 4.2 seconds this this wasn't even seconds this was um what would it be milla milla milla um you know not even a minute of a second it was it was crazy how fastest they covered even 40 yards let alone it was much further than that into this clear cut and so I mean that that is literally what happened and so it wasn't like we saw it take steps it was like this thing was standing clearly standing and then in an absolute flash you could just see this blur across the highway and then nowhere to be seen that that's what I'm saying it was and so can that be natural? Is that something that we've ever seen in the physical? I don't know. I mean, I can't explain it. My wife can't explain it. I can't think of anything in nature that can move that quick.

I know. I know. See, therein lies the challenge on the whole thing. It's like rationally, it's beyond belief. It's just literally beyond belief. And we both saw it. you know, so just just a smidgen of my not only was in my retired police officer, but I'm in higher education as well. So it's not like I'm looking to tell a story to create something here.

This is, you know, this is literally what we saw. And again, just to double down, triple down. I'm just so thankful my wife saw it because try to repeat that story to someone and, you know, you're going to get that. I mean, my son's reaction was, what it was, but he knows, certainly we saw what we saw, because we both, and he knows us, obviously, but it does sound crazy. It just sounds crazy. And just to double check, so very, very short time where you actually saw it standing there and then it just blurry went across the road. Was there anything that you could see that, you know, sometimes people, when they try to describe what they see, they're like, oh, it looked

kind of more like some kind of ape or monkey or it looked like a human that was hanging out in the woods. Any weird details like that? Yeah, that's a great question. No, that's the thing. I mean, what you could see, what we could see, well, I'll say what I saw in my wife, she would say the same, but just a massive black figure creature and the best I could describe it would be like um yeah yeah apes aren't even that big so uh goodness um maybe caricatures of what people would say as big foot perhaps but and it was standing still It was literally standing, you know, statue-ask, you know, for a good, you know, it was a good second plus easy because we both saw it. I mean, it was, we were locked in on this thing.

You could see it, but you couldn't see like a, it's not like I'm looking, you know, at someone's face 15, 10, 15, 20 feet away, you know, which is frustrating, you know, you know, and it would be for a listener to hear. this but at the same time that's just what we saw and it was definitely a physical being standing there and then just as quick as you can quick and you can blink it's just on and so um because if i would have seen something um you know in the clear cut you know i would have been reaching reaching from my phone even 2012 we had cell phones um and uh and uh just to get a snippet. And like I said, I sat there for a good several 10 seconds. There was no traffic behind us or in front of us.

So we were able to just sit there. And, you know, it cost me in mind at the very moment. Could this be what people would say is big? That's one of the reasons I rolled the window down. But not only that, just to see in here and smell and whatever, but to experience. And plus that's my training, you know, from law enforcement, you always have a window rolled down. And it was just crazy.

It was crazy. That's some wild stuff. Could you tell how wide across it was? Yeah. So in replaying it, and at the time, that's a great question. I would say it was broad. And so in comparison to say a shack, who's probably a good, you know, three plus feet, three and a half. This thing was that and then some.

So a rough estimate because you got the shoulder where it was off the tower road. So it covered a good, you know, it was big enough to see its girth. And I would say, you know, four plus feet. Again, that's a, that's a rough estimate. But it was big. It was wide. This wasn't like a, you know, a minute bowl, skinny. type of thing. This thing was giant.

Giant. Absolutely. No. Okay. Sometimes people, after they experience something like this, they are really affected in different ways. Did it affect you or anyone else in the car in ways that you can think of? So what it did for me? was

you know there's something for sure out there and whether it's natural, supernatural, one or the other combination of the two I definitely know for sure there's something and I'm not saying it's a big foot

because I don't know what it was. I just know what it wasn't. And so that I'm certain, absolutely certain of. and my wife would say the exact same thing. So it didn't affect us in the way that if it would have just been me saying, I would be really frustrated. I would be like, oh, man, who's going to believe those? And, you know, try to convince yourself of what you saw,

but then try to convince yourself you didn't. But we know what we saw. And so that's that thankfully, is, you know, a blessing, so to speak, that we both did. And so we both know that we can't say what it was. Right. Exactly. We just know that it exists, whatever it is out there.

And it fits, what I'll say is it definitely fits the features of what people would say as Bigfoot. That I can definitively say is it fits what people say, you know, know, and these explanation and caricatures and so forth. But I can't definitively say that's what it was. Does that make sense? Yeah. No, it really does. It makes you wonder, you know, if there's a whole theory where maybe it's something

else and it's using a form to show itself to us. And sometimes people see as alien, sometimes as Bigfoot. But that's definitely a theory that's out there, but I've heard it. But did anyone get really going down the Bigfoot trail after this that was in the car? Or like I don't even want to hear about Bigfoot again or just kind of you guys were in a middle ground? So, you know, my wife just kind of kept it close to the vest, as did I, you know, because, you know, It was very, very selective. I would bring her into conversation, you know, if we were talking to close friends.

Like, you guys aren't going to believe what we saw. And she would, and they'd look at her and she'd say, yeah, that's what we saw. What do you guys think it was? And, you know, we never would just say, oh, it's Bigfoot. We just never have. However, there's consistencies that it is, perhaps that's what it, you know, based on what you see. so or based on what you know um shows characters and that sort of thing but um so yeah it uh you know it would it would occasionally come up and very very you know because we have friends that live out um also in like

i don't know if you're familiar with rose valley um which is a community in cowts county and kind of out in the woods so to speak and and uh you know And have, do we know anybody that's ever seen? I've only talked to one person that claims that his, it wasn't he himself that saw it, but he's a basketball coach, college coach in the Northwest. And a friend of mine, and I told him, he goes, he's, you know, I can believe this. He goes, my uncle, he went on to tell me his story. And, and they literally saw one out on a logging road. that's the only other person that I've ever spoken with that can, you know, essentially say they had to run in with something.

Theirs was different because it was actually walking. It wasn't like a blur. Oh, sure. But that said, yeah. Two more questions for you. And thank you so much for taking some time out of your day to share this. Would you want to have a sighting again of whatever it was that you saw that day? I wouldn't have a problem with it, you know, seeing it.

What I would want is to have my phone out. I would want to have video for others to see. I don't have to be convinced of anything. Neither does my wife, because we saw what we saw. I would just want to be able to kind of lock it in for others. I wish that everyone could have seen this. And at some point, because there's no denying, there's something out there.

And so it's not like I'm going about my day hoping, oh, wow, I see one. When we go there, it definitely crosses my mind, think, wow, are we going to? Oh, yeah, I'd be thinking about it all the time. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, yeah, we do. and yeah so so lastly um you know this happened in 2012 so you have had well man you've had what is

14 14 years yes quite a while to think about it and to probably run it over in your mind a few times yeah the story the story has never ever changed exactly let me just can i add one caveat to us. The only reason why you even went on your show is because, you know, why, you know, was even willing, because when I would tell some of my close friends, you should talk to, you should tell whatever show, I go, I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to do that. And, and then, of course, blurry creatures, you know, they don't just talk about Bigfoot, though, they don't, it's, there's a whole lot of great topics they cover. But when you're on there, it was like, okay, this is the safe place. I can.

And literally, I have no problem telling you. And so, but the story, it's as if it happened yesterday, honestly. It's as if we saw this thing yesterday. So sorry, go ahead. My goodness. So have you gotten to, sometimes witnesses will get to a point where, based on what they saw, they could say, Bigfoot, in my opinion, is this or this? or are we at a point where we're as, you know, without as much information as when we started?

That's a good question. So, you know, based on some of the stories that I've heard of people's sightings and so forth, it doesn't sound exactly the same as mine because that's why I asked you, has anyone ever had an explanation or a story, I should say, or an experience where something moved this fast. And when I hear of people telling Bigfoot stories, these encounters, so to speak, they're like, you know, lumbering slow or they maybe dash quickly and they take a big jump or whatever. So where do I put that? Do I put it natural or do I put it supernatural? And because it's outside the, I've just never heard of anybody telling a story similar to this, to what we saw and what we experienced.

So, yeah, but I would say that I do absolutely, there's no question something's out there. And do they have the capability, like you said, to kind of make themselves blurry. And I wonder, I don't know. I mean, they can, something's doing something for sure, 100%. Am I saying it's Bigfoot? Well, it certainly resembles any and all. you know, when you see a show or you hear of a story and they describe it, yeah, it matches the description. And why does it always seem like it's on the side of a road? Well, this one was on the side of a road.

And in the size, yeah, that sounds exactly about what we saw. But the speed at which this thing went was just unbelievable, just inexplainable. So how does it do that? I don't know. you know it's one of the reasons i do this show is because i feel that is one of the last great mysteries of the world is trying to figure out you know what it is or what exactly bigfoot is all these people keep on seeing something out there across the u.s and uh you know casey thank you so much for for coming on the show and is sharing your experience i want to make sure that you were able to share uh everything that you came to the show to share today Yeah, that really does sum it up.

But, yeah, there's absolutely no question that there is, there are things out there. And whether we're going to call it Bigfoot or, but definitely it was not a bear, deer elk, you know, any of the animals that any of us have ever seen, nothing of the kind.
