Bigfoot Society - Woman Trapped By Sasquatch in California’s Lost Coast Valley for Eight Terrifying Years!

Episode Date: January 3, 2026

In this chilling Bigfoot encounter, a Yurok Tribe member shares eight years of terrifying Sasquatch activity on a remote property in California’s Lost Coast and Humboldt County region. What began as... strange noises quickly escalated into rock throwing, tree knocks, massive woven structures, red glowing eyes, and blood-curdling screams just feet from her home.Living alone in a secluded valley with only one road in and out, she describes being followed through the woods, surrounded at night, and experiencing intense moments where something large paced outside her cabin, shook trees, and vocalized in rage. She recounts encounters involving nest-like structures, stick formations, thrown objects, foul odors, and coordinated tapping signals, suggesting multiple Sasquatch operating together. This firsthand account also explores Native American perspectives, long-term Bigfoot habitation, and the psychological toll of prolonged exposure to unexplained entities. From a mysterious lemur sighting to missing wildlife, strange activity inside the home, and feelings of being watched, this episode raises unsettling questions about what truly lives in the forests of Northern California. If you’re interested in Bigfoot sightings, Sasquatch encounters, cryptid investigations, Native American Bigfoot lore, or true paranormal experiences, this episode will stay with you long after it ends. Sasquatch Summerfest 2026 is July 10th through the 11th. Starting point is 00:01:29 you see the woods forever. So stay with us. All right, Bigfoot Society. We've got the privilege of talking to Cammy today. Cammy is a Urock tribe member from the Lost Coast of California and has reached out today to share some extremely interesting things that she's had happen over a pretty long period. And a lot of things to go over today. Cammy, welcome to the show.
Starting point is 00:01:53 How are you doing today? I'm pretty good. How about you? Doing great. You know, we were just having a good chat before. before we started the recording. And yeah, I'm just glad to talk to you today. And feel free to take us back to this area you were in the Lost Coast or Humboldt County.
Starting point is 00:02:14 And feel free to share what happened to you. Okay. So I started going to this piece of property about 2008, I believe, around there. And so the first, it started off as, it was a large piece of property, 140-plus acres. And my friend was actually born in that house, and we go out there and do work for him. And then he moved away and was renting it later. So I ended up moving out there later, actually.
Starting point is 00:02:56 And so I had more experiences, but it started off just when I'd go visit as like rock throwing or whistles. And before these interactions, I really never had no, I didn't have a, you know, I didn't really believe or not believe. I never really thought about it too much. And then, so, yeah, I would just go out there, you know, here and there. And then I started living out there. and it was cleaning up the property from the last people that were there. And so I'd see two sets of red eyes. Their eyes were like the size of, I could explain as like reflectors on a bike, you know.
Starting point is 00:03:40 They were so big and they're so super red, like as red as you can get. And there was one that was shorter than the other and they'd peek out behind the shed all the time. and one head, you know, on top of the other. And there's been stories before I moved there from the guy that you that lived there and grew up there that they would come home and all their deck furniture would be, the metal deck furniture would be not like sat on and broken or just broke it. It would be like twisted up in a ball. And he also said he's been chased by him on two occasions on his dirt by him. or not a dirt bike is quad. Other than that, I didn't hear anything other stories from anybody, but, and then nobody
Starting point is 00:04:29 really wanted to talk about it. So, anyway, so before I back up, I'm sorry, before we, I moved out there, I was just going out there to work and we stayed out there. Obviously, it's kind of a, it's a ways out there, so you don't, you can't just come and go. But me and my husband at the time, we were sleeping, or trying to sleep in the back room and we just put a mattress blow up on the floor and the cabin it had you know the knot holes you know where there's a little tiny hole that would just go directly outside um in the walls and we were laying there and something was walking around on two feet um right next to the wall
Starting point is 00:05:09 on the other side so if the wall wasn't there we could probably reach out and grab it by the ankle but he stepped on a milk I think it was like it sounded like a milk gallon or something and you could feel him in the ground and my cousin happened to be out there too and our door was shit but she was sleeping in the living room and on the couch right under the only window in the living room and the next morning she
Starting point is 00:05:38 was terrified when I came out and she asked if she heard that she couldn't sleep all night because he kept walking back and forth around the house. And only one of them at that time. And I've seen him walk like from the, I was standing at the back door one day. And the house is built on a hill. And I don't know how many yards.
Starting point is 00:05:58 I'm not very good with yards. But he was quite a bit away. I'd say like maybe 150, 200 feet maybe away from me. And he's walking down the hill from as far as he was. he was, because I somehow had to know how to look at the trees or on the tree and measure how big he was by, you know, gnawoles or whatever marks on branches. But he was pretty big, but he was a blur because he was so dark from where I was standing. But I don't know anything else that big that would walk on two feet down hills like that. That's the only time I've ever seen him.
Starting point is 00:06:39 but like I said it was just really far but he no I lied I've seen him in the trees you know on the Bigfoot Chronicle their page the silhouette
Starting point is 00:06:51 that's what that's what's imprinted in my mind of him standing there in the trees because you'd follow one of them or I think obviously probably more than one of them but they would follow me
Starting point is 00:07:02 because there's two houses on the property and I drive up to the other house and because it was kind of far away and they would follow me like little dogs back and forth. I see them standing there in the trees. I go down to the other house because my house I stayed and was in like a valley,
Starting point is 00:07:18 basically one road in one road out down in a hole. So I had a disadvantage there. But yeah, they would go back down to my house and it's pitch black and I'd open the door to the truck and it would be one of those warm summer nights
Starting point is 00:07:35 where the breeze hit you really. It felt so good. and then but it was followed with the stench that me and every hair on my body stood up and goose bump and told me to shut the door and not get out and there was kind of a ways in the pitch block to get to the front door of the house and so i just sat in the truck for a minute with the door shut and um after i smote that um that smell once through the breeze um it was gone it was not there anymore, but I felt, I could feel a lot, like
Starting point is 00:08:12 it's intense. And at first I didn't know what I was, why I was feeling like that. I was feeling like I was being watched. Like, there was, there was no doubt in my mind that somebody was in those woods. And I thought maybe it was some people that I had working that I fired,
Starting point is 00:08:28 like kicked off the property, maybe coming back to be shycy or something. And I was out there by myself with my little tiny dog. So, and all the guns that I had, it would have handled, you know, intruder, but definitely would not have handled anything, you know, that came at me, which I don't think that they would. But, I mean, out of all the time that I've been going out there, they've never, well, except for the very last interaction,
Starting point is 00:08:54 and never had been, you know, hostile at all. But I think I made them mad, and I didn't mean to. It wasn't intentional. So, yeah, they, um, they, um, they, um, they, um, um, they, um, um, they, um, um, they, would throw, one of them would throw sticks at me, like madrone sticks, and, you know, they're down the hill when I'm walking on a trail, and it comes up from downhill, and it hits me in the back of the leg, and I look up and I'm under a pine tree, so, you know, it was a madrone. And I'd walk the property about every day, every other day, there's a big loop that goes around it, and I take note of what's changed in the environment. So I find the nests, or it whatever you call them. I don't know what they really are. These ones are a little bit different than what I've heard other people say, like the ones they sleep on, the mats.
Starting point is 00:09:49 These were like giant, very meticulously crafted birds' nests, like I can explain it, but put up on their side. I mean, huge. Like anything about 70 feet could fit in it if they curled up to hide.
Starting point is 00:10:07 It was giant. They were huge. There was two of them, and they were lookouts. There was one on the back end of a field and then one on the front end of the field. And they were at least four and a half, five feet tall. And whatever did it had to have thumbs. And, I mean, they were super, I don't know, explain it, intricate, like almost woven, more meticulous than any other of the sleeping,
Starting point is 00:10:36 Ness or whatever you want to call them. Those ones were meticulous, but these were like, took a lot of time. And I had them on camera. And of course, out of all the phones in the world, to have something happened to, it was that one. And it had like my, I did a little vlog, a video diary thing of when one of them, or I don't know if it was one of them or probably more, but they were having tantrums and screaming at me and whatnot.
Starting point is 00:11:06 So I would find the TP structures built overnight, like right off the end of my deck at the bottom of the hill. Because like I said, the house is built on a hill and had the stilts for legs for the deck. It had a giant deck. And so I didn't know. The reason I felt so intense like I was being watched is because right on, like, I'd say 75 to 100 feet off the deck from the end of the deck down the hill. on the other side of a greenhouse. I would hear one pacing around back and forth, back and forth, like mad. Like he's contemplating or trying to ponder some things or some.
Starting point is 00:11:51 And it was a very intense feeling like I was in trouble and I knew it. So what I did is when I was out on one of my walks, I was walking with somebody else showing on the property and she went off path a little bit. well, what she found was what could have very well been where they had set up home, because there was like a fallen log or a fallen tree, and there was a flat boulder pushed up against it perfectly for like a table. And then there was another boulder, or giant rock basically, but yeah, flat on the top. And it was pushed up against a tree like a chair.
Starting point is 00:12:30 And then there was a big, a giant smashed down. They didn't have, it was anything. they didn't sleep on anything they just had a big area that was like smashed down like somebody been sleeping there but again i don't think they would need too much betting it's so hot out there in the summer and whatnot so they probably would make them miserable but anyways um in there was a tepee built so our tp structure built right by that area so what i think we did was we went into their house on accident when we were walking around and we went off trail and it was right behind that greenhouse by chance.
Starting point is 00:13:07 And so after that, he just, I was hearing more, it was getting really animated around there. But the feeling that I got, like there was tension, clearly. And he was mad and pacing back and forth. And I was out of the back door washing something and rinsing it off. And I mean, I could throw a rock out of him if I wanted to in the trees. and I could just hear him going back and forth and back and forth. And then I think it was later that day, maybe the next day.
Starting point is 00:13:42 He wasn't, they weren't letting it go. So I just felt really uncomfortable like I said, like you're being punished or you're in trouble. And the other house was right on the side of the road and other traffic and neighbors would pass it, you know, more frequently. Mine was, either house was in a hole. Nobody behind a gate, so nobody came down there. So I just wanted to be up where it was like, you know, where there was more people around because I just didn't feel right. And so I would take it in the car with my little dog and I always have a gun on me. And I went to start the car, but for whatever reason, it was shorting out, like the battery, there's a wire not connecting.
Starting point is 00:14:25 And so it was like a scary movie or a movie where you have the hood popped and you're trying to get the car to turn over before the monster comes or the, the killer comes and it's not turning over. That's what was going on. And I could hear them at the bottom of my driveway, one on each side of it, basically, in the trees. And they were tapping rocks. It sounded like they're just on a board back and forth to each other. And it was three taps as three.
Starting point is 00:14:52 So it was tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap. And then all of a sudden, it sounded like dinosaurs, bulldozers, anything giant you could think of was coming through those trees. And they were just all the trees were coming down. That's what it sounded like. It was crazy. I've never heard such a thing. And so I had to call it.
Starting point is 00:15:17 I grabbed my little dog and my gun and I went in the house and I locked myself down in the only place you can't be seen from any window, from any direction. And the door to the woodroom was open off the living room. And the woodroom is, I mean, it's poorly put together. I mean, it's just a woodroom, you know. So it would be so easy for him to just pluck the door off the little one hook that holds it together and be in my house. I think he's been in my house before. And I don't know why I feel strongly about that, but I do because one of them could fit through the door.
Starting point is 00:15:54 It's so big. And the ceilings are vaulted. And I just feel this weird feeling when I get home to my house. There was no lock on that door, no key to even the door. address to the place so you know it was not too secure but anyway so he or one of whom i say he like there's only one in the world um so i noticed that the door to the woodroom is open and basically at the top of the woodroom is all screened so it's pretty much open to the outside and on the outside of the woodroom is the one lane driveway that barely fits the car or truck on it on it on it
Starting point is 00:16:32 and then the trees on the other side, so the trees were really close. And I get up to shut the woodroom door, and I freeze because he starts screaming at me. It said everything happens for a reason, but maybe everything happens for a reases. Take noise-canceling headphones. Do they block hearing to heightened taste? Hmm, that sound seems to show. Everything happens for a recess.
Starting point is 00:18:33 And I will never forget that sound, and it shut me all down. It shut me all the way down. I didn't know what bodily function I was going to let happen or whatever. I froze, I couldn't move because I got up to get something. I talked to myself into getting up and getting something off the counter I needed. And then he started screaming. And it sounded like it was in.
Starting point is 00:18:57 my house. And so I just froze. I couldn't do anything. And then I happened to be looking at the same time at my kitchen window over our stove. And a blue, it was a, what is it, a blue bird of so, whatever they called. Not a bluebird anyways. I don't remember. One of them was like, it didn't fly into the window, it was like pitched. It was forced to where I don't know if it splattered, but it was not like in one piece
Starting point is 00:19:37 I know that afterwards. It was just it was definitely pitched into the window. And then about 15 seconds, 20 seconds later, another one hits the window right after that. So and again, with force. Like they just didn't fly into this window like that. So I stayed in the house.
Starting point is 00:19:58 I mean, there's nothing I could do and let him have his moment. But, yeah, I know there's a bunch of other things. Oh, yeah, they've been on the porch of the other house on the deck. And somebody broke a window on accident by the front door of the cabin, and it hadn't been fixed yet. nobody had been staying in there but I was up there working on it and I was inside and I heard something something was listening to me and my friend in the house and paying attention to us and when you I went to the door there was one big step and you can hear him landing you know two feet together in the um it was
Starting point is 00:20:46 kind of gravelly right there and you can hear him uh land right there and then gone um there's been I've seen red orbs out there in the trees. And also, this doesn't really apply, but I find this very weird and strange. I was on one of my walks in the morning, mid-morning, and I'm walking and there's a lemur sitting in the middle of the trail, like from Madagascar, like King Louis, a lemur. That is one of the weirdest things. I mean, it stopped me, obviously, dead in my tracks. And I just sat there and stared at this thing, like, trying to think of my mind, like, did they get loose from the zoo? That's really far away.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Like, where did this thing come from? And, I mean, people are like, oh, it's probably one of those red pandas or whatever they want to call them, bears or red panda bears. I don't know what they call them. They call them something weird. But anyway, I was like, no, this is a straight lemur sitting there like a lemur with a lemur tail looking like a lemur. So it wasn't like you see a saskatch. Oh, it was probably a bear. No, probably wasn't.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Especially when you were raised out in the woods and, you know what I mean, you know what animals look like. I've seen Black Panthers out there or one about Black Panther, which isn't, I've heard people say those are extinct, but I've done some reading in California. There still are some, so it's not that abnormal. But it was just sitting on the side of the, road on a switchback was the brightest of like yellow green eyes ever just like you see in the
Starting point is 00:22:27 pictures but anyways and it was not a big house cat like people want to think they are too it was a giant it was just a you know a panther site who's just like regular panthers super black with yellow and green eyes so that they're not extinct um but yeah other than that i think oh i've heard um from just random people that have said the same thing that there's a big foot that has two youngsters and he if you come across them he will always put his arm out in front of the kids like you know holding him back and that's from multiple people like locally that live out there that you know have no affiliation really with each other too much but I've heard that quite a few times. Oh, and the whoops and the tree knocks and squawks and yeah, they, it was, we sound like we
Starting point is 00:23:29 had chimpanzees or something in our trees. We'd listen to it, laying bed and listened to it at night. It's so hot you have your windows open. And so we just sit there and listen, and it just sounded like a zoo of monkeys out there making sounds. And at that time, I was so new with the Bigfoot thing. I didn't really like put it together. other, I just thought it was really bizarre and then getting in the trash. And I couldn't figure out why I've never seen, I've never, not ever over the time, it's a period of time, seeing a deer of any kind, any kind of animal at all, wild animal. Even like, well, the lady up the street somehow had 29 dogs.
Starting point is 00:24:13 Most of them were feral, basically. and they were becoming a problem or like a safety problem and whatnot and those dogs would rarely even use I saw one at the top of the driveway once and that was it but you don't see anything any other living creatures except for that lemur on the property ever but the feeling when you know when they're mad you know when you've done something wrong because they let you know that that you're in trouble and yeah so now I'm obsessed I want to know more but I think that's all I have I'll probably think of something later oh I have a few questions for you absolutely really incredible stuff so I think it's important to point out real quick this takes place over the span of eight years right
Starting point is 00:25:09 Yeah, off and on. And then when I moved out there, I happened to do that for a little, move out there for a little bit, is when like the more, I mean, obviously I experienced more like piles of broken trees at the bottom or sticks at the bottom of trees, you know, overnight, because like I said, I would take note of, so a lot of the time take video of what's changed overnight. But I knew where they were too, if they were around me when I'm out. on my walk I could feel where they were. I didn't have to even, and I would not even pay attention to them or anything, but even when they threw sticks at me.
Starting point is 00:25:49 But, yeah, I feel like, I feel even though that they were, when they were mad at me and I was in trouble, that they obviously could be extremely harmful, deadly, but I feel that they're of no harm for the most part. and I think it also goes I heard it that they get it seems that they get more nasty the more east you go I think that's a lot to do personally
Starting point is 00:26:22 with the heat and the humidity because I've been over in the south and whatnot fairly inland last year and it's been it had been since I was little that I've been over there so I forgot what
Starting point is 00:26:36 The humidity is like, and it's God awful. I don't know how people live over there and can breathe. It's so bad. So I think that really has a lot to do with how, you know, like even in Florida, I hear a lot of them being really nasty and hostile. And I think it's that humidity. I mean, they got all that hair and whatnot. These ones seem non-convertational.
Starting point is 00:27:00 They decided to let me know that they were pretty mad at me, I think, for a little bit. Yeah, absolutely. I want to talk about the lemur a little bit. bit because that's just extremely interesting. So how tall would you say, let's say if it was, when I think of a lemur, I think it's like sitting on its back legs, right? Yeah. How tall would you, your picture is blamering your head sitting? Is that how it was sitting? How tall would you say it was off the ground? Oh, I mean, not that big. It's like a size of a large house cat, maybe. Okay, yep. I mean, because they're not that big in the first place. I mean, it was just like a little
Starting point is 00:27:36 little over a foot maybe. I mean, yeah, a little over a foot probably, if not around a foot. And I ask that just to make sure, you know, it's like the same lemur we're thinking about when we think about lemurs and zoos today's. Yeah. Yeah, the black face, the little, the little nose and the ears. Exactly. I mean, it was straight a lemur in every way. Like you see on the ones you see. on TV and right right because the last thing we want is like having a portal on the property and like prehistoric lemurs coming through
Starting point is 00:28:16 you know what I mean right right that's why I kind of just chose to yeah I only say the general area and not yeah I don't want to cause exactly you know now yeah I thought that was a little strange so there's obviously more than one of them to be have you know to have one out there
Starting point is 00:28:33 you know for breeding yeah you would think so absolutely Do you think there are, so how many Bigfoot do you think there are on the property based on what you experienced? I really couldn't tell you. I know for sure, I mean, at least two, because they were, you know, going back and forth to each other. And I, but I believe they're like, you know, humans in a sense they have their family and their, you know, little community, their people. but I don't know how many I feel like
Starting point is 00:29:08 there's probably four of them, four or five but I couldn't tell you I haven't even gotten a good enough look at them like I said the two times I saw them one was very far away and so he's just a dark blob mess to me and then the other time was just a huge perfect silhouette of like just like that one
Starting point is 00:29:30 on, you know, Wes's podcast. But yeah, it's just, I want to have it painted, actually, and get it out of my head. So I couldn't tell you other,
Starting point is 00:29:44 because I am not seen if it's, I mean, I imagine there's one that they scout out to the one who's in charge and, you know, follows you have people around or whatever. He's appointed a follower. Do you think,
Starting point is 00:29:58 do you think there's males and females based on what you've experienced there, or is it hard to say? Oh, I mean, I must definitely do. I think that they're not far off, I mean, too far off from humans, as far as anatomy and, you know, reproducing. And there's obviously have to be reproducing to have so many. And for people to say they've seen them with children, I don't know of any animal besides a seahorse that can there's a male that can you know produce a child so or you know reproduce so yeah scientifically i say yes i've not seen or had any i've not had any i don't know what you would call it feelings of i'm very spiritual and kind of clairvoyant too so
Starting point is 00:30:53 with just certain things. I feel things intensely. I feel presence, you know, and I feel, what do you want to call it, vibes, and things like that. And I, I don't know. I feel like everyone that has been around me has been male. You just feel that male presence. And like I said, like, when you're in trouble
Starting point is 00:31:20 and you're fired out or something, and that's what it was like. And I was on timeout in the house. I couldn't come outside anymore for a while. I wouldn't. On the hottest days, I would not come out when I felt like I was being watched because I knew when I was on the deck that there was something or somebody's out there. And I just wouldn't go outside. It was so hot to stay in the house.
Starting point is 00:31:46 But I did. And I've never felt uncomfortable, even when I felt uncomfortable. I don't know if that makes sense on that property. It's one of the scariest places I've ever been to as far as mountains, but, and we go, you know, a lot of mountains around here growing up. So I just feel that one is just intense for me for some reason. And I've always had an attachment to the property and I love it. Even when I'm one of those people that likes to be terrified, though, not startled, but like terrified with scary things like that. adrenaline junkie, I guess.
Starting point is 00:32:21 So I've never really been too afraid. I felt uncomfortable when I knew I was being watched and they were screaming at me and taking the force down. But yeah, I've never felt threatened even when I was being cursed out by them, by one. Was your dog ever affected by any of the, I mean, there sounds like there's some really, intense things that happened at that property. Was he, what's, did dog ever affected by any of that?
Starting point is 00:32:55 I'm not, no, he was just a small little poodle that you can, you know, he's out on a different highway right now. I'm on a different hill now. He's loving it, but he's just a little poodle
Starting point is 00:33:06 that you can pack around like a little baby in your arms and he pretty much is chill with any situation or doing whatever and, um, doesn't react too much to anything other than gunshots. He doesn't, does not like gunshots.
Starting point is 00:33:19 But so I never really got anything off of him, of him being scared. But he was pretty, I kept him pretty much close to me because that lady's dogs, like I said, were feral. And they would pick off injured alive animals. And so once I knew that they were at the top of the driveway one time, I kept him really close to me. Plus he was a little tiny poodle. He was, he's a, he's definitely a mountain dog somehow.
Starting point is 00:33:44 But he stayed pretty close to me anyway. So, no, that I don't think it really, they really affected anybody. They kind of made me realize, you know, that they are big and they could be definitely threatening if they wanted to, so to respect them.
Starting point is 00:34:11 But, yeah, I actually, I enjoy having them around, and whatnot. I just didn't enjoy some of their antics sometimes. Right. Absolutely. Do you ever feel like there is any communication of any kind between you and the Bigfoot on the property?
Starting point is 00:34:30 You know, I didn't get to experience any of that other than them making it clear that I did something to upset them, or upset one of them, whichever. But no, I was kind of bummed out about that. Because, you know, I don't know how terrified I'd even be if I came across when I think I'd be more curious, because I'm a very curious person. Like, I've got questions about a lot of things. And so this has just made me questions so much on a different level.
Starting point is 00:35:03 And now it's opened it up more to, like I said, other crypted things. Because we, I mean, like I said, they are like I've said to other people, they've government, they have, they've been trying to tell us this whole. time there's no aliens when we perfectly well and we know that we can't be the only um living species in the whole universe and uh we're clearly not as intelligent as aliens because they know where we are and we have no idea about them so why would why would i not think that there would be other you know weird things out there you know questionable things that they try to tell us there isn't um absolutely it seems that the whole world is opening up to some weird weird secrets.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Yeah, a lot of things are not going to be secret for much longer and people better saddle up. It's fascinating. Yeah, I think a lot of things are going to make the whole religious thing questionable or how it was written for us or, you know, what a lot of us have been told or, you know, lived our lives based off of, you know, religion. I was raised religious. I'm not now. I'm more spiritual. But I was raised pretty religious, actually. But I think it's going to be a really bad thing as far as that would be, I mean, because
Starting point is 00:36:32 it wouldn't go against what we were told and what people believe. And I think that's the biggest part that's going to be affecting people and could make a lot of things go into chaos, maybe. don't realize the chain of effect of things like that. I don't think. And where it will end up going and, you know, making so much questionable in our world. So.
Starting point is 00:37:03 When you're thinking back on around the property and specifically outside the house, but maybe close to the house, were there ever any times when you would see things they would appear, didn't really make sense why they were there, anything of that nature. I wish I would have known as much as I do now or what to look out for or more because I would have been probably trying to interact with them a lot more as, you know, as far as, you know, on the outside, I don't want to get too far into it with them. but, you know, just to make an advance towards them to see what I can get out of them as far as that.
Starting point is 00:37:49 But I never paid attention to those things for some reason. Like I paid attention to the trees, definitely. That was it. I paid attention to the changes in the forest. But I never, I mean, we put things on the deck rail. It was a giant deck. So, I mean, we put things on the deck rail a lot. Or there would be new things moved around on the deck sometimes.
Starting point is 00:38:08 So I never really paid attention to. anything or if anything was added into you know things being moved around or whatever just like I said we were I was doing work around the property so there's just like you know tools and what not moved on the porch and moved around frequently for from us using them and putting them back so and it would have anything like that would have probably just blended into me and I didn't know at that time you know to look out for those things and I wish I had but um like I said the only things I did notice was the difference in the forest and I mean those structures because I would never hear those the trees being snapped and no no human could snap one of those even if they look tiny those trees really but no
Starting point is 00:38:58 human could snap one of those trees and they're those they were at least 10 feet tall 10 to 12 feet tall these trees that they broke and leaned up together in like in the threes, you know, like a tapie structure. And so, like I said, it was just right off the deck in my windows at the top because my bedroom was upstairs and a loft and it was so hot in the summer, we just leave the windows open up there. So I could hear, because I was in a hole, like a valley, I could hear the whole forest all the way around me.
Starting point is 00:39:33 And it was kind of cool because it was just coming from every direction. But so I would think that them being placed so close to the house, that they're going to that I would be able to hear those trees snapping and stuff at night because it was overnight. Like I said, I mean, it was when we were in bed. And I did take video just to see the differences, you know, and like how in the time period, like, you know, 24 hours and whatnot. So sometimes I'd go out before it would get dark and take a video to see what changes overnight. but they were so close I don't even know how I didn't hear some of this stuff
Starting point is 00:40:12 I mean I could just throw a rock at them right oh my goodness it makes wild that you were surrounded by them when you're down in this this valley in this house it's crazy to think about and I know that they've let themselves be known to other people but I
Starting point is 00:40:30 haven't talked to anybody else besides the owner that was born and raised there he's born I think in that house actually and it was built his family I think built it too so it was a beautiful beautiful cabin of cedar and wood on the inside I was just an open vaulted ceiling a floor plan and any a big foot easily could fit in there and I just get this feeling when I come home like somebody's been in here and so for a while I couldn't go outside because I just felt overwhelmed with the feeling of you know being watched and then at night I'm laying in my bed and I can hear something
Starting point is 00:41:10 licking itself in my house and I mean there's different little hiding places in that house. Plan B made over-the-counter emergency contraception legal more than 20 years ago. Starting point is 00:41:48 but the uncertainty never seems to fade. From rising geopolitical tensions to record U.S. debt and ongoing debates about inflation and money printing, Americans are watching economic forces that feel far beyond their control, and for many, that instability is showing up in retirement accounts, personal savings, and long-term financial plans. More people are taking a closer look at options that don't depend on Wall Street. They say everything happens for a reason, but I suspect everything happens for a Reese's. Like this commercial break. Did you need 15 seconds away from music?
Starting point is 00:42:57 Or 15 seconds to eat or Reese's? Perhaps it's true. Everything happens for a Reese's. And so, and it would like lead pee petals randomly. sometimes on my kitchen floor at night. I never see it, but I'd hear it. I'd hear it. And so I was stuck in the house with a monster, basically.
Starting point is 00:43:15 And I couldn't go outside because I was terrified of whatever was watching me, which just made me feel uncomfortable. And so I just kind of felt trapped. I can't imagine that. I don't know what kind of animal it would be since I've never seen an animal out there besides a lemur in a Bigfoot. Now, there's one thing I do want to check real quick with it. when you would hear those things, was your dog by you?
Starting point is 00:43:40 Oh, he's always with me. Yeah, he just didn't, nothing. You'd get nothing out of him. He's just like, whatever. Okay, because I was like, well, maybe it's a dog during the looking, but it sounds like in this case, it totally wasn't. No, this was something, it almost sounded like a cat, but I mean, I've never even, I've never seen a cat out there.
Starting point is 00:44:01 Like I said, I've never seen another creature, not a deer, nothing. and over those years besides a lemur and a bigfoot are the on those dogs from up the hill I saw one of them run out from the tree and there's two horses up the hill because you had to go up the hill to a spot because there's no cell phone service
Starting point is 00:44:23 even with a booster box you cannot get service so you'd have to drive up the hill to the meadow which is a beautiful beautiful place you just drive up on the top of the meadow and sit there and make your phone calls and it was always that warm summer breeze at the top of the meadow and there's two horses that were wild and that's their spot they'd live there but they've those horses have existed just fine for years out there and nothing bother them or bothering them but yeah you'd have to go up to the call spot if you wanted to make a phone call and so if anything did happen you you know, there's not much you could do being stuck down in a valley, one road in and out, and you're at a disadvantage because everything is above you, you know, the road and everything is above you because you're down in a hole. And that made me feel uncomfortable. So that's why
Starting point is 00:45:20 sometimes I go up to the other house because I was at the top. And I was above predators, basically. So because any gun that I had, like I said, I don't think they would get that violent or hostile, but you never know. And there was, I had just a 22 rifle, a 9mm sig and a, a, was it an AR? No, I didn't trust any of those. And I never even shot the AR before, so I didn't feel secure with it anyway. So, and I don't think it would have done anything anyways, more would I want to shoot one unless I absolutely had. do, I can't even kill spiders. So, and I kind of like these guys for whatever reason, whatever reason, because they're
Starting point is 00:46:10 stinky and scare the crap out of me. I find that kind of fascinating out of all the places for them to be. And I'm wondering why. Like, I feel like maybe that the watching was, did they watch out for you? I mean, they know you more than obviously you know them. They probably know everything about you in a sense. Um, so, and then that goes back the same as Bigfoot with like the aliens. Like clearly they're a little bit more sophisticated than we are in a sense.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Because again, they know more about us than we can even, we can't even explain after all this time we still, and all the information in the past couple of years even, still can't even figure it out. But they know about us, you know. So we're to disadvantage when it comes to the aliens and the big foots, you know. Oh, absolutely. You know, spending such a large amount of time there, like eight years, do you have any leanings towards what the Bigfoot might be?
Starting point is 00:47:17 Is it something more of a, like, undiscovered primate or a lost offshoot of humans in a way? I'm kind of torn on this because they're clearly flesh and blood. I mean, they're clearly a being, a living being, but at the same time, I feel that they are paranoid. I mean, I have not seen them, you know, just disappear into portals or just disappear or just, you know, are there and then somehow without a trace, no sound, no nothing, as big as they They don't make a single sound. They're just gone.
Starting point is 00:47:57 Like all the different bizarre scenarios that I've heard, stories I've heard, like myself, like it feels like I don't know how they could, they can't be both, I don't think, but it feels like they're, you know, they go to other dimensions maybe, but they are paranormal of some sort of the same time. I don't know how that would be, but it's just like I can't, I'm on the fence. I can't figure it up from what I know and I've experienced. are definitely living beings that are close to humans in some sort that have somehow been able to, you know, stay hidden pretty well until the, you know, past few years especially.
Starting point is 00:48:37 But I really don't know. I really think that they're a being, but I feel that there's something else. And I don't know what that's something else myself is. It's killing me, though. because you become a little bit obsessed. I just swam across the river bar at Nightland fairly recently to go leave some snack, right? Because the river is not far from, I mean, it's local in town. So anybody in the summer you just walk down there and drink beer and hang out and whatever in the summertime.
Starting point is 00:49:13 But I took a bag of some avaloni shells with some sparkly stuff in it and some bit of honeies, some snacks, because my friend is pretty sure that that's what she was seeing, to try to snatch something out of the river when it was almost dark, but not quite, but you can't tell what the thing is, but it's big, whatever it is, and it's trying to snatch things out of the river, and then it just shoots up a hill on two feet. And she hears things over there all the time across the river,
Starting point is 00:49:44 and they're probably watching everybody hooting and hollering and doing whatever they're doing over there at the river bar. and watching what's going on. So I'm pretty sure that's what's going on there. But yeah, so we did that. That was interesting. I was planning on going for a swim. That's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:50:03 You can walk across it totally. Yeah, right? Around the house, did you ever find any tracks or hair or anything that seemed to be left behind? but not on purpose. Like I said, I didn't even think to look out for those things at that time. I wish I had. I have seen a, I got a track actually on photo, but I don't have the disc that has the photo on it.
Starting point is 00:50:37 You know, back in disc days. When I took, I went on a class camp out and not or I'll say the orc area of, you know, north from here, about an hour maybe. My son in his class went to a, or had a class camp, camping trip to a children's camp, you know, cabins and everything. And so during the day, each different group of kids, they would go on little hikes, you know,
Starting point is 00:51:13 and learn different things out in the woods and whatnot. And when we were walking back, I always stray off, you know, kind of look around wherever I'm at, you know, out of town or in the woods by myself. And I was behind everybody else. They kept walking, and I walked down to a little creek area that everybody else bypassed. And I was just walking, looking around. And there was a huge perfect impression on the sand. It was kind of the gravelly sand on the creek bed.
Starting point is 00:51:42 And I put my foot next to get a idea of how big it was. and I think that would be a perfect place for them to want to, you know, pay to or look at, you know, the kids playing and, you know, it's loud. There's over 100 kids probably there. And it was a kid's camp, so it was just consistently kids. So I would think that that would be a perfect place for them to, you know, watch and learn and whatnot. I don't think I have anything else. There's probably something in there. When, um, it's just a, it's a fascinating story.
Starting point is 00:52:22 It's one of those that are so rare to hear because how, how remote, you were really remote. It was just you out there. Yeah, pretty remote. And just really the perfect area. Sometimes like, for like 15 days at a time before I see another human being. Wow. I'm sorry, the, um, the yard guys are sure doing my yard all. Oh, you're good, you're good.
Starting point is 00:52:44 So I don't know if it's too loud. Okay. Do you, you'd mentioned before that, you, you'd mentioned before that, you might have some secondhand stories as well. Yeah. So a lot of my ancestors or family live out in the Hoopa area, and there's been some stories passed down.
Starting point is 00:53:03 I don't know how accurate I am on some of them, just as effective grandma and grandpa were in the house or the cabin, and one big foot kept slapping the house really hard. I think it shook pretty good, but I think she said my cousin said grandpa came out on the porch naked after him or something like that but yeah they torment out there that's for sure but yeah I was trying to get hurt my cousin's dad to maybe want to call himself because I know he has a few but I don't know if he's willing to do that or not but yeah I don't I can't remember like too much detail about it to be to give accurate information on those, though. Oh, that's, that's all right.
Starting point is 00:53:50 I mean, that's quite, quite the wild report, for sure. I know a lot of really interesting things happen in that area. But yeah, any- Yeah, it's kind of scary stuff happens out there. 100%. Yeah, if you read David Polite's book about the Hooper Reservation, the Hoopa Project, there's a lot of really interesting stuff in there. What was his name again?
Starting point is 00:54:13 David Polite's, but yeah, just search for, There's a book called the Hoopa Project, and it is fascinating the accounts he was able to get out of there. Yeah. Spent a few years. There's a good book. There's a book called The Four Ages and Sharii, which, you know, like Sheri Heights, but it's spelled the original spelling is T-S-U-R-A-I. And that was, that's a really interesting book, too. And then when I used to have it, I let somebody borrow it, and I wish I hadn't.
Starting point is 00:54:45 So you can't remember who it is. And then the other book I have written is in the land of the Grasshopper song. And that one's a good one too. Awesome. I have to check those out. But thank you so much for spending some time on the show today, sharing what you've experienced. If there's anyone that you know out there that you think might also want to share some experiences, feel free to pass on my information.
