She was out of town and her and her husband are married because he's gay, apparently,
and because he's in the military, and she caught men coming in the house on her ring camera.
And I was just like, I don't get my head enough for this.
So everything on my body is fake, the hair, this hand, everything, you name it.
I love it.
No shame here.
Nope.
That's what they all thought I was.
I was a shirt, but that's how I made my money.
I was an only fan.
Never fucking again will I ever rely on a man.
And that was my lesson to learn.
Welcome back to the BILF pod where authenticity trumps authority.
Now, I'm here in Las Vegas with a true Belfth.
This woman is a realtor, top 50 realtor.
You are the founder of Ryan Surhan's Las Vegas real estate firm here.
I mean, you're balancing being a wife, a mom, a realtor.
Is there anything that you don't do?
Anything?
I don't clean poop anymore from my kids' butts.
I love that for you.
I love that.
I love that for you.
It's a hard stop. I'm done doing it. They're grown. They can walk. I'm not cleaning.
That is, that's another thing I hate. You're my curse? I hate it. Yeah, why not? Okay. That's another thing we could put on our hate list. Yeah, we have a hate list. Disney adults were coming for you.
100%. Well, welcome to the show, Cammy. I'm super excited. I love it. Thank you for having me. I'm more aligned than I ever, like, could have thought you have a husband that's like very nice. I have one that's very nice. We like tattoos. We have bad mouths.
In appropriate behavior. I mean, I feel like like just matched me in a pet. Yeah, love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it.
Love it. So, okay, so let's get into it. You're from Miami. I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Miami. And then were you, did you always want to go into real estate or? No. I actually, so I went to, I wanted to do PR. I did my master's in communication, which I mean, obviously, I communicate horribly, so don't waste your time. But I have a master's too. Yeah. I mean, it's good to have to brag about, you know, whatever. But then. I mean, I'm a master's too. But then. I mean, I'm a master's. I mean, it's good to have to brag about, you know, whatever. But then. But then. I mean,
I worked in all the nightclubs in South Florida, and then I got into reality TV.
I did like Celebrity Big Brother in the UK and then some other shows.
And then I came to Vegas to visit a friend of mine after I broke up with some guy.
And then that's how I met my husband.
And then I came to Vegas.
And he's like one of the top lenders in the valley.
And I was kind of at like a fork in the road where it was either continue doing like reality TV or.
go and figure your shit out, right? And I couldn't do reality TV because I wasn't going to be single.
That's what they wanted. Yeah. And like, crazy hothead me. And I was like, okay, let me try real estate. And my husband was like, no. It's like, let me try it. He's like, you're going to hate it. And I was like, well, let me just try it. And sure enough, I actually ended up liking it. And then you became, you know, just how it happened to be a top 50 realtor. Yeah. Well, everything I do. Like, if I stick my, like, I'm like, I'm going to do something. I'm going to do like be the best.
100%. Especially when people doubt me, I'm like, watch.
bitch, bitch. That is, we are a hundred-bird. Like, this isn't match. I mean, that's how I am. Like,
anytime someone's like, you can't, I'm like, wait, I can't.
What am I drink, bitch? Yeah. I'm going to do it and I'm going to do it better. So let's see.
Okay, so now you get into real estate and you actually really, I mean, you do amazing with it,
became a top 50 realtor. And out here right now, the market is like, whatever. But how did you really
propel forward in this and just from something, because I'm assuming you had no background in real estate,
you're doing reality TV. So how does one go from reality TV?
becoming a top 50 realtor.
I did not take no for an answer.
I love that.
That's what it, relentless.
That I would like, and if somebody doubted me, which, of course, I walked into rooms where people were, like, better in the sense of, like, had higher sales, more experience.
And that's fine.
I respect that, you know, but when people doubted me or when they just look down on me or they thought, like, this girl with tattoos, like, you know, she probably looks like a stripper or, you know, who fucking knows.
I love that, though.
Don't you feel like I love that?
Yeah, I love it, too.
Like, I used to have really big boobs, too.
So, like, I really matched that.
I love that for you.
That's what my kids front.
That's what they all thought I was a shirt, but that's how I made my money.
I was an only fan.
That's what they thought.
Oh, okay.
I'm okay with that.
I mean, it's not true, but I mean, whatever.
Listen, whatever it makes your money, honey, okay?
It's fine with me.
Yeah.
So, and then I said, you know what?
I'm going to, like, really prove everyone wrong.
And I did.
And here we are.
I love that.
That's, it's really a great story, especially for women.
I think, you know, one thing we were talking about is highlighting being a mom.
and being a wife and being an entrepreneur,
I think a lot of women, unfortunately, don't want to risk that.
They don't want to get into it for whatever.
I have my theories.
Why?
But it is important to really explain to women the importance of being relentless
and not taking no.
So many times the problem is why people fail
is because they don't take the risk and they can't handle rejection.
So when you started, what was that like for you?
It was very, how do I explain?
So it was very like fake it till you make it.
You know, it all started and I always say the story is like we were at a, again, I didn't know anyone in Vegas.
I only knew my husband.
And I didn't know west side, east side, north.
I didn't know anything.
So everyone I met was like, I'm a real estate agent.
And the thing is like the bar is set in hell in Vegas to get your license.
So like, you can get, anyone can get, you know, their license.
Yeah.
So I went to a Super Bowl party at one of my friend's acquaintance in his house.
that my husband knew.
And this girl I knew, she's like, so what do you do for work?
And I'm like, well, I'm a real estate agent.
And I was like, do you have anything to sell?
She was actually want to sell my husband's bachelor pad.
And I was like, my time to shine, you know?
Because I know I would, my work ethic is good.
It's just I need to get like my foot in the door.
So from there on, it just.
And that was it.
Yeah.
And then like she was so happy with like how the transaction went.
She referred me this person, then this person.
And just like all snowballed.
I got really lucky, but I really was like I would do anything.
Like I once showed this couple, like I think their price point was like $250,000.
I showed them like 60 houses.
I mean, you want to do, listen, at the beginning, I, this, it's so funny.
I'm just listening to your story because this was the same experience I had.
I knew, like, because I do sales, I did health insurance sales.
I knew that I would be good.
I knew it.
I just needed like that, you know, I felt I failed probably a million times.
I made no money for six months.
And I would do anything.
Drive anywhere.
It didn't matter because at that time we were going house to house to sell insurance.
It wasn't via online.
And I knew that if I could just get one, like if that one, like in euphoric feeling when you sell, it's over.
It's done.
It's like being on a high.
So what do you think, like, I mean, besides the fact that you are absolutely beautiful, what do you think?
Plastic surgery.
Thank you, Dr. Reddick.
I love that.
Me too, girl.
Everything on my body is fake.
The hair, this hand, everything, you name it.
I love it.
No shame here.
Nope.
Nope.
Nope, if it's broken, you can fix it.
You can just need money.
You are not ugly.
You are just broke.
Yes, that's exactly what my hairdresser told me because I was not cute.
My 20s was, no, you're broke.
So what do you think really differentiated you from every other real that are out there?
When it comes to luxury, like the luxury space, which is where I'm primarily in, is that I pick up the phone.
Yeah.
Not only that, I don't have a team around me in the sense of like you go to these $10 million, $8 million homes.
and a lot of times they have a showing agent,
which I'm not knocking their business plan or their model.
That works for you.
That's great.
That doesn't work for me.
I am too type A to have somebody else God walk it.
You can't show something like I will show it.
Like nobody can because I agree.
The house inside out because the seller hired me.
They didn't hire my showing agent.
They hired me specifically for who I am,
how I present things, and how I do my business.
So I think that I'm different in that aspect because when you call me,
you're calling me.
You're not calling an assistant.
I'm calling a showing agent.
You don't have to say how the showing go.
Then I have to wait to the showing agent, figure out, like, well, how to go.
And then this dumb, dumb doesn't even realize, like, you know, nonverbal.
I'm like, my master's like a nonverbal com.
So I like to read people's body language.
And she doesn't know, you know, so she'd just be like, oh, they said they liked it.
And they're just going to like, you know, keep looking.
You know, it's like, that's not me.
Yeah, you want, I mean, no one's going to do it better than you.
No one.
There's just not going to happen.
And if you're paying me top dollar, it's because you want my top dollar.
You want me.
Yeah.
So why would you say, I agree with you.
Love that. Yeah. What do you think is like the craziest deal that you ever had?
I have had like sellers or even like people don't realize like real estate agents. They are not just like somebody opens doors or luck doors or shows a house.
Like we like I have to talk people off the ledge sometimes. You know, like I'm like their therapist or like, oh, I have a good one.
Tell me it. Tell me. Spell the tea. Okay. So I had this one client, right? She found me off of Facebook. And I was just like, okay.
whatever. And she's like, yeah, I'm married to Sky. He's been in the military for X, Y, Z, how many
years. And I'm like, okay. And she seemed cool at first. And she would, like, try to, like,
talk to me and stuff. So I had this woman she contacted me on Facebook, which seemed really nice.
Yeah. And I was like, okay, because I used to get a lot of leads, like, Facebook, like, organically
and Instagram. I still do. But it seems like before it was way more. And she was just like,
yeah, I've been married with this guy. He's, like, higher up with the military and whatever.
Fine.
And then time went on and she was like acting a little odd and I was just like, okay, what's going on?
Long story short, she was out of town and her and her husband are married because he's gay apparently and because he's in the military and she caught men coming in the house on her ring camera.
Oh, man.
And like a whole thing.
And I was just like, I don't get paid enough for this.
Oh, my God.
Yeah.
It was like, wow.
Can you drive by and see?
I'm like, ma'am, I am absolutely not.
I'm not doing that.
Yeah, you're not getting involved.
I don't get paid enough for this.
You need to see like, Jesus, not me.
That is hilarious.
But, well, I mean, I'm assuming that like the relationships that you have with the clients, it's pretty close, right?
Especially if you're selling their home, you need to know about.
So it gets pretty intimate.
It does.
Would you say that you've made a lot of good friends doing that as well?
I've made a lot of good friends doing, like, luxury, even.
Like every home I've sold, I would say like it's been a good experience.
And I make, I do my best to make it a great experience for my client because, you know, when they buy a home or when they sell a home, this is the biggest transaction they're doing in their life.
Yes.
So, you know, you don't want to leave a bad taste.
And I think that's what's going on with a lot of realtors is that they just see dollar signs.
And they don't care how they get there.
They don't care if they're not going to see.
That person is not going to call them up again.
And I think that's what gives agents a lot of a bad rep.
because they just see dollar size at the end.
And I do think that not every agent should be paid the same.
I would agree with that.
And I think income is the outcome.
That should never be the objective.
You have to have a little bit more than that.
Empathy.
Yeah, you do.
You have to.
I mean, you did communications.
And my degree is in criminal justice.
So I did a lot of psychology.
And part of sales is psychology and reading people.
Like you were talking about body language and knowing.
That is the first thing when it comes to sales.
Like, you know right away.
You can read the client.
You have to be.
socially aware. So having that social awareness and then that connectability, you know, makes a big
deal when you're selling. 100%. So Ryan Serhan, he's huge this name. So how did, like, how did that come?
Like, where did that even come from? So I've never watched and I don't watch real estate shows ever,
because I'm like, you can't do it as good as me. It's just going to fist me off and I don't want to
watch it. And I already hate half the population. So why am I going to watch you and hate more people?
I don't watch it either. And it's nothing like against anyone. It's just I don't like watching real estate shows.
get it because I can do it better than you and it's just going to piss me off.
So at the time actually, so I'd been with the same brokerage since I started.
So seven years I was with them and I'm like loyal to tea and that's probably a fault of mine where I'm like very loyal.
And like now that, you know, we've met, I'll probably fight someone for you.
You know, like I'm very like you.
I'm very loyal.
If I hate you, you know right away.
I feel like you would not.
I feel like you would not hold back.
And that's the problem.
Yeah, I know.
It's a problem for me too.
It's the older I get, like, the worse, it's becoming.
The more relentless I'd become.
Disgusting.
Like, it's, I just, I start for no reason.
Just, I have no shame, no feeling.
I'm becoming my mom is what's happening.
No, well, like, Declan, my beautiful daughter, who's here, she had a side track, had, like, this girl bullying her, and we're going to call her Emily.
And, um, she's in, like, you know, this very, like, private school, you know, and very hoity to-oity.
Love the school, though.
But, um, I had to have some means to the teacher.
And I was like, hey, because she's very shy.
She's very timid.
Yeah.
And this was last year.
And I said, hey, Deck told me that, you know, Emily is bothering her.
Can we figure this out, please?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll figure out of it.
So a couple days later, I'm like, hey, Deck, have you, has, how's Emily been?
Oh, she pushed me and she stepped on me again.
They said, okay.
So, I went to school.
Little girl comes down.
I go, hey, Emily.
She goes, hi, Declan's mom.
I said, can you do me a favor?
Yeah, I go, say, Declan's mom wants to know if she knows how to.
fight. Okay. So yeah. So she called, just like, um, oh, yeah. I was like, yeah, your kid's messing
with my kid. Like, this needs to stop. I'm, I'm relent. I have no shame. I do it too. I'm so,
yeah, I'm that person too. I'm messed, I don't like it. You mess with my kids. That's like the one
thing that is huge off limits. I'm going to show up at the playground and you better bring
your mom. Bring your mom. Bring your daddy, bring your grandma. Whoever you want. Yeah,
whoever you want. But show up and we'll take care of it. You're not going to touch my kid again or
mess with my kid. I agree. I like. I love. I love. I love you. I
love that. I love it for you. I love it. Yeah. My husband's like, you're nuts. Unlike, it didn't happen
again. I'm, that's my husband's so embarrassed from my behavior most of the time. But whatever,
it is what it is. Just take me as I might not be a cup of tea, but at least you know where you
stand with me. It's okay. Whatever. Back to Sirhan. Hi, Ryan. Anyway, so Ryan, so how
is, okay. So I was with the brokerage for seven, seven years. So at the time, I had
got an approach by a company that would basically be a silent investor and it would be my
own broker. Yeah. Right. So I got, I had down the table and I was really concerned.
did during that. Somebody contacted me. I was like, hey, would you like to go to lunch?
I'd like to talk to you about an opportunity to come to Vegas. Had to sign an NDA, all this
shit. And I was like, okay, fine. So we go. And she's like, Ryan Sourhan is coming to Vegas.
And, you know, we'd love to have you on the team. And I was like, okay. So in my mind,
I'm thinking, oh, this is just like a guy. Do you know who it was?
I knew who he was. I knew who he was. I knew who he was. Yeah. The name. Yeah, I knew,
like, the guy with the white hair. That's all I remember. And I was like, hey, let me.
think about it and then I went back to my husband and we talked about he's like well why don't you
get into discussions with them and see you know what they have to offer I said okay because I just didn't
know I know I had hit the ceiling like we said before like the glass ceiling yeah was like I knew like
I had achieved as much as I could at this place which I love with all my heart but I knew I wanted
more and I needed more with more brand recognition and more technology right so I then meet with
Todd and Joseph, which are like Ryan's right hand man, and they just offered me an opportunity
that I couldn't say no to.
And that was it?
And that was it.
And how many years have you been there?
We just opened in November.
That's amazing.
Yeah.
That's, I mean, congratulations.
That really is.
Especially if they sought you out.
It's not like you went and you applied to whatever it was.
They sought you out.
So that, I mean, that should be really something special.
Yeah, it is.
It was really nice.
And the beginning was, I mean, they've all been really nice.
And Ryan, surprisingly, which was like, my.
my main thing has been hands on.
He's very hands on with like, not just me, just all the agents.
Like if you, we have a direct contact to him.
And that's, again, not just me.
That's all the agents.
If I have any questions, you know, like, I am the type of person, though, like,
I don't care.
Like, we all shit and we all have the same color blood.
Right.
I don't care who you are, where you are.
Like, Obama, TV sitting right next to me and I'd act the same that I'm at.
Yeah, same.
I have no, I'm not like shy.
I'm like, oh my God, this person, like, no, that doesn't.
I'm going to act the same.
So that's how he is. And he's super cool.
Now, this is, I don't know. What makes him or like his name so like how come it like what is it about him or maybe his method or I don't know what really defines him and why are people like this is like a big craze.
Yeah, because they just launched in California. I think what people like about him is that he's very tech forward.
Yeah.
So he's ahead of the times as to what's going on now. And he has a team behind him, shout out to coin, that.
knows what the next 10 steps are, whereas everybody's 20 steps back.
Yeah.
And I really like, again, he's very hand-on.
It's not like, it's just his name.
And if you want to talk to Ryan, please leave a message after the beat.
No, like you can directly contact him and he's going to respond to you within minutes,
usually unless he's doing something crazy.
I love that.
And it's so, and honestly, that's what the difference is between a good business person
versus someone that's not.
Would you agree that, like, knowing technology and AI, if you don't know,
know it and you don't know social media, you're going to be left behind. You're definitely not
moving in the time. Your agent from 20 years ago is not even, there's no comparison. There's just
none. You have to know what's the next best thing because AI, like the technology is evolving
constantly every day, every day. Like in order to get like top on Google, you know, you have to
have the blogs. You have to have the keywords. You have to have AI constantly on your, like I have
to have a company that helps me do that because I can't, I don't have time to be writing blogs and
doing stuff. Like they have to constantly evolve with AI to get to where you want to be,
which is in your face all the time. Yeah. It's the same thing with insurance. Believe it or not,
we use AI. We use AI. We use social media. I mean, that's how we create leads. I'm sure you
create leads in the same kind of thing as understanding SEO. I didn't even know what SEO was a year
ago. Same. But I had no idea. Like all these terms, I had no idea like an internet browser.
Yeah. Yeah. I have no. I don't know from any. I still kind of don't know. But I know.
But you also have a big following too on social media. Now, this is.
is a serious question I have two for you. Branding yourself. Why is that so important for business,
people that are in business? I don't think people really quite understand the importance of branding,
but why is it? I think it's important because when they see it, like when they see anything
that even resembles it, then they think of you. Like I started my career in the beginning and
this woman who I was helping, she was a teacher. And this was like beginning, probably the first six
month, I believe. She, it was a lead somebody gave me and we got this condor, I think no townhome
that she liked. And she goes to me, you know, me and my friend, which is another teacher, she goes,
we have dubbed you the viper. And I was like, oh, she's like, you're like really aggressive.
She's like, but it's good. Like, we love it. Like you're negotiating. Like, we just love how you are,
how you do business. So then the friend then bought a house and she started calling me like,
oh, this is the viper. She's like crazy. You know, she'll get what you want. Like whatever, blah, blah,
so it kind of stuck. And then that's how my branding came into like the
And now, like, literally, I'll be like, oh, the people that have agents I've never met. They're like, oh, look at the viper. And I'm just like, what the hell? And then, like, I was talking to an agent yesterday and we were negotiating on something. And he goes, I just don't want the viper to come out. So is that like your alter ego too? Yeah. Like, I'm like ruthless when it comes to negotiating. Like, I'll negotiate till like the last day. I mean, you're doing it for your client, too. I love that. But branding in general, like, it's social proof. What's the first thing you do when you go to look for anything now? You go and check it out on Instagram, on TikTok.
I mean, I'm planning this whole trip to Korea.
And I want to go to, like, one another skincare places, right?
Yes.
So where am I looking?
I'm looking on TikTok and Instagram.
And then I'm Googling it because it's social proof.
100%.
And if you're not branding yourself, you will be left behind.
You need Google reviews.
I mean, I don't have y'all if I suck at that kind of.
But Google reviews, I focus mostly on Instagram.
TikTok.
It's just like I have all these agents are dancing and shit.
I have no rhythm.
I can't do it.
I don't do this either.
You know what?
Just do your thing.
I'm fine.
If you could dance, like, if I could dance, I'd be twerk in all.
You know what I mean?
I just can't do it.
No, I just, I don't have time for that.
No, I don't either.
I'm not getting on somebody's countertop.
No, I'm not doing it.
Not doing that either.
There's like a lot of things I'm not doing.
The cry baby.
No.
But I am ruthless like you.
And I'm relentless.
And I will continue to move and groove and go in the right direction.
Yeah.
At whatever cost, it doesn't matter.
Just not dancing or singing or going to Disney.
Hard stop.
Not doing it.
Disney and dancing.
Disney dancing.
No.
Double D's.
Yeah, not doing it.
No, I agree with you.
I love that.
So in addition to this, though,
we were talking before it that.
you really want to talk about being a mom too.
So how is that when you're juggling your business?
Is there, I mean, do you think there's such a thing is work-life balance?
There is a work-life balance when you have nannies.
And I'm not even going to lie, I have three nannies.
I have a, well, she doesn't, because I have a little, the oldest one is, or, you know, the biggest one is eight years old.
The smallest one is eight years old.
Yeah.
So we're fortunate enough to have nannies.
Obviously, I don't think I would be as successful.
I agree.
If I, it does take a village.
Yeah.
It really does.
100%.
just have to pay my village. Yeah. And that's fine. That's okay. That's fine. But they love my
daughters. And I know if they could do it without getting paid, they would. Like, they just love
my kids and I can tell. And they, they go above and beyond for my kids. But it takes a village. And
there's times where I'm like, I have to jump on a call, please. And I hate leaving them. But I know
it's for the best because we will do better. You always want to do better than what you did as a child, right?
Absolutely. You want to give your kid a better life than what you had. Yeah. So like, I
know I'm working a lot, but at the same time, I'm, you know, we're going on a trip next week.
And, you know, and I'm there for the key moments.
I always make sure I'm there for bath time.
Intentional.
Like, the intentional moment.
Unless I'm out of town.
But I always make there.
I want to be there for bath time.
And, you know, like, I always make up stories, like to say to them at night.
And my littleist, it's like, Mama, I want a story.
So, you know, it's just, I always make sure, like those key moments that I'm there, you know.
So it's a nan.
Yeah, Nannis takes a village.
I, listen, I, I, 100% of it.
agree with you. I used to feel really bad because my kids, I didn't have money at first when I had
my kids. So I would have they be the last ones in daycare. And I never at first, I think initially
I felt bad, but looking back, I don't feel bad. You know why? Because they get to go on trips.
And there is a lot of sacrifice. And you're right, the intentional moments I'm there for all
the time. But having help. And I also think that when you work as an entrepreneur, especially an
entrepreneur, business salesperson, it is, if you have daughters, it is crucial for them to see you working.
I think there is like that in itself, my daughter, I know that my daughter looks in me and she's like, yeah, that's a bad bitch.
She might not say it, but I know she feels like I could see it in her.
No, she does though.
And to watch and watch the sacrifice because we didn't come from money and she watched the struggle.
So to have a girl and to have a girl watch you do it is so powerful for little girls.
I tell my daughter all the time, like you need to work.
I was in a relationship once where like I got engaged and moved to another country.
Yeah.
And I like, it didn't work out.
And I had nothing.
Like nothing.
And I was like, never fucking again will I ever rely on a man?
And that was my lesson to learn.
That was my lesson to learn.
And I fucking learned it.
And I instill it in them.
Like, you do not rely on a man.
I don't care if he promises you.
You don't ever take it.
Island of Fiji.
I don't care.
Like, you always have to have your own money.
You always have to your own thing.
And if you're ever in like this kind of situation, which I pray they would never be,
you can get out of it.
without feeling, you know, financial crisis.
Yeah, shout out to my mom.
My dad died when I was six years old.
So we had nothing.
Like, there was no life insurance.
He was in debt.
There was nothing.
And from the time that he dropped dead, literally, my mom instilled in me.
Like, you never, ever.
Life happens, divorce, death doesn't matter.
You never rely on a man and you have yours, no matter what, and you take care of your kids.
That's the lesson that was always instilled in me.
So you're absolutely right.
Like, there is no doubt in my mind that my daughter knows.
that in life you have to do for yourself.
You cannot rely on anybody.
You just can't do that.
And building your own.
And I love that because you said your husband is a really, he's a successful lender.
Yeah, he's one of the top in the valley.
So I'm assuming that you probably don't have to work.
I mean, if I don't want to, I'm sure, you know.
But the importance of it that your daughters are watching you build this brand for yourself.
And he's at home a lot too.
Like he even though he is like a, I don't even say a branch manager, but he's like a broker.
I guess top Christian for like a huge office.
he's never at work, he's always home because he can be home a lot.
And with the girls, he's still working constantly, but he likes to be home while they're home.
But it's like if they need him, let's just say he's in his office where I'm always out, you know.
Yeah, same thing.
Constantly out.
But, I mean, I could never be a stay-at-home mom and the moms that are state-home moms.
You know what?
Shout out to them.
I think there was like a study.
They work like 90 hours a week or something like that.
I couldn't do it.
I already get stressed out, like especially when I have clients calling me.
And this is something I tell people all the time.
the more money the client has,
the fucking nuts they are.
Love you to pieces, but you're fucking nut.
More money, more problems.
Yes, they're fucking cuckoo.
I know.
But I think everybody's cuckoo, actually.
I'm nuts, so I get it.
That's why I love people who are crazy because we're all crazy together.
No problem.
I love it.
Do you think that having kids has made you a better realtor overall,
like a salesperson, hustler?
I think having kids has made me more empathetic.
Fair?
because I used to just be like, what the fuck are you doing?
Like, but now I'm more like empathetic.
Like I, I'm more of like a softie.
Yeah.
I feel like when you have kids though, somehow like kids teach you how to deal better with people.
Oh yeah.
Because if you have kids, that is a whole thing in itself being a parent.
And you can't fail though.
When you have, when you don't have kids, if you fail, you're like, fuck it, I fail.
But like you have kids and you like, I cannot fail because I'm failing them.
And then it's like, it's like going to be like this trauma that they're going to
have like generational trauma and then I just like spiral and I'm like no I have to constantly when
I have to constantly have a certain amount of money in my bank account I agree because if not like
I'm feeling and that's I do not want to be a failure to myself or to my kids that's a constant it's a
constant battle that I battle with too I feel like there's being a mom there's so much added extra
stress and then working and trying to build an empire and brand you know it never stops and I think
that a lot of people don't understand that that being a business woman is one thing
But being a businesswoman, a mom, you know, an entrepreneur, a wife, you know, you're doing all these things and wearing all these hats.
It is the constant stress of trying to wear all those hats is just unbelievable.
And people don't get, we don't work like us.
We're not working nine to five.
No, there's no nine to five.
And it's not that we don't know when our next paycheck is going to be.
Yeah.
That's true.
You know, because like we constantly have like.
So when someone calls you, you have to pick up.
Yeah.
Because where we live like in a time where people want instant gratification.
So if they don't go to you when they first.
are going to initiate that meeting, they're going to go to the next person because you didn't
pick up the phone. Yeah. So most people are listening to this because I say this to my agents all the
time. This is the constant thing. If you do not, and I also do recruiting, right? So if you do not
pick up the phone and you are not proactive, buy, see you. And that's how people fail in this
business because sales, the most amount of millionaires come from sales. That's what they go from.
Yeah. Yeah. So when I see women, especially, that are like, I can't get into sales. No, you can't
and get into sales. You sell all the time. I think sales for women, which women don't realize,
is that men like to talk to women and women like to talk to women. So women are fantastic salespeople.
Absolutely. Because you're in a male-dominated industry also. There's a lot of men.
How is that? What's that like? I make them quiver, so it's fine. I love that. You know,
like, they're all older. Like, being in the position that I am, I would say I'm probably one of the
youngest ones, you know, but like they're all older and they're all kind of stuck in their ways.
and some of them are like, you know, a little bit arrogant.
And, you know, which, hey, that's fine.
You, you, like, built yourself to that position.
And there are people that I admire from afar that I'm like, oh, that's cool that you do that,
that you've gotten to that, you know.
All right.
Let's switch it up, girl.
All right, we're going to do some rapid fire.
True or false.
Las Vegas is a bubble waiting to pop and most agents know it but won't say it.
When you say pop, how?
Like pop in the real estate.
They're like, is it like.
Oh, it's going to go up?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
True.
Yeah, it's going to go.
We have an NBA team coming.
I was just going to say like all these sports.
Don't you have a baseball team coming?
Yeah, baseball team coming, but that's like 27.
I think of, we have an NBA team.
They just said that they're doing that.
So yeah, no, it's going to pop.
Love it.
All right, next one.
The sports and entertainment real estate market is more about relationships and ego
than it should actually be about the property.
True.
Fair.
Most people buying luxury real estate in Vegas are making an emotional decision dressed up as a financial one.
False.
They're doing it because of the taxes.
Talk about the.
taxes real quick. Well, I mean, it's just like people are leaving California to come to Vegas because
tax purposes. Yeah. I mean, I get it all the time. People call me, we have to be here seven months out
of the year or however many days because tax purposes. Perfect. Social media has made real estate
clients more difficult, more demanding and less loyal. This is not selling your ass sunset.
Okay? This is like real life guys. Okay. I'm not showing up in like a tutu and like point ballerina shoes
to show you a fucking house. Not happening.
No, and definitely not in Disney years. The best real estate agents are a great therapist first and great sales people second.
True. You have to literally handhold. So true. Yeah. Perfect. I mean, I think everything that you said is like spot on too.
Real estate. I mean, real estate, it is, it is definitely, because I told you, I just bought a sixplex. And my realtor actually, she was amazing. In fact, I thought she was like overboard. She would call me like everything she did. I'm like, girl, you're the real estate. Like, whatever you're telling me, I don't even understand the language.
Yeah. But it just kind of shows you.
You know, that realtor that's going that extra step that's not just looking at the dollars and cents.
And she was nervous because it wasn't the greatest deal. So she was honest about it. I was like,
I've never met like a real honest person like you. So thank you. But it makes it like, it makes it like,
it makes the experience just so much better when you're doing real estate. So you have all these things
going on. Like a million things going on. What's next for you? I know you can't talk about it.
But like ultimately, where do you want to see yourself? Ultimately, I want to not be as tired.
My five-year plan is to not be as tired
It's not going to happen
I know I'm like
I'm like
Why am I so tired?
You're done
Forget it just stay goodbye to sleep
You're always gonna be tired
Always and I want to say
I want to like not work as much
But like I'm lying to you
I think that's in your
I think you
That's what I say too
But then the minute I'm stagnant
Like or if I don't have a ton of shit
Going on
I'm like
I have like 18 listings right now
I love that
But don't you I know it
I know it's stressful
Right
But then if you had zero listing
I would be like
What the fuck
I wish I had 18 lists
Right?
Yeah
I mean, it's a double-edged sword.
My future is to have my face tighter, my hair longer, my nails longer, and more money in the bank.
That's like, you describe my future.
Yeah.
That's what I want.
It's not much, right?
No.
Younger, I want to be young.
I want to stay young.
You know what I was thinking, like today, actually.
I was thinking like, do I want to be 33?
I'm going to be 40 this year.
I'm 39.
Do I want to be 30?
Would I want to be 33 right now?
And I'm like, I don't.
You don't?
No.
I do.
I don't want to age.
I don't want to age.
Like from here.
Like, if I could just stay like this.
Yeah, I don't want to age.
Don't get me wrong.
I don't want to age like externally or internally.
Well, in terms, like, you know, I feel like the older you get, the more season you become, the more life lessons you have.
And then you make better decisions.
I still make shitty decisions sometimes.
But it sounded really good when you should have just gone with what.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But it's like one of those things where it's like, I try to see it as like, my vessel or our vessel is getting older, which is fine.
But like, I would not be 33 again.
Or I wouldn't be 21 again.
No, I don't want to be in my 20s.
I was ugly in my 20s.
I don't want to be that.
No, I don't, I just, I feel like I like how I am now.
And I know they say 40s or whatever.
I don't get the fuck about that.
I just want to be hotter.
The older I get, the hotter I get, which I don't think it's possible, but it's going to happen.
It's going to have both of us.
I mean, I don't know.
You're pretty hot.
We're manifesting.
We are manifesting right now.
But you know what my uncle told me right before I turn 40?
He goes, when you turn 40 years old, you are going to 100% be comfortable with who you are in your skin.
And that's exactly what happened when I turned 40.
I was like, fuck it.
This is who I am.
Like, no shame.
I stopped with, like, listening to the noise over here.
I just didn't care anymore.
This is what you see is what you get.
I'm like this all the time.
I'm in that job.
I'm really honest, brutally honest.
Sometimes too honest.
Wow.
But it's the same thing.
Like, either you're going to love me or you're going to hate me.
But either way, you'll know where you stand with me.
Period.
End of story.
Yeah.
This is, like, me who, like, when I turned 20, I had my first, like, anxiety attack was, like,
diagnosed with, like, OCD.
like because I was turning 20.
So I've come a long way to accept that I'm getting older,
but I don't, I wouldn't change like my eight,
like for any, my 20s or my early.
I don't know.
I just, I mean, I don't want to get old per se,
but like I like the path that I'm going.
Yeah.
I mean, you're doing so many amazing things right now.
You really should be so proud of your thoughts.
Yeah, no, I am.
And I feel like it could be better.
But I think we all feel like that.
I think that's just the type A thing that we always want more
and think that we can be better
because nothing is ever good enough.
Nothing.
It's terrible to say, somebody asked me the other day, they were like, do you ever stop and, like,
take a look at the trophy room?
And I said, no, never.
I never do.
No.
I never do.
Never satisfied.
Never.
It's with everything, except my kids.
I love my kids.
I don't want more kids and I love them the way they are.
I would have wanted another.
Yes, I would have, like, through a few years that amount to, like, like adopt or something.
But, like, then I'm like, well, no.
And then I'm like, maybe.
And then I'm like, I could have, I did IVF.
It's the wanting more thing.
And all that still.
And I'm just like, it's the wanting more thing.
And I don't think it's a bad thing.
I think that's what keeps you so competitive in your competitive edge.
You are in a really, I mean, realtors are a dime a dozen.
You're right.
Everyone's like, I'm a realtor.
There's like, I'm like, oh, fuck me.
But you made a name for yourself, like a big name.
I love the Vipor name, though.
That's like my favorite for you.
Isn't it great?
I love that.
I love that for you.
But then, like, people know it's me.
And they're like, hey, you see me.
I'm like, fuck, I need to change that license plate.
No, I love that for you.
Yeah, I know.
So do you think you're going to stay here in Vegas for?
I do.
I really do.
And I think now you meet, like, I've rarely met, like, people who were born in Vegas.
But now I feel like there's a lot more people that are, like, like, kids in Declan's class.
You know, my kids class like that, they were born in Vegas.
Like, it's just very, from what I understand, not many people lived or like, were born in Vegas.
Because they leave or whatever.
But now it's like so many people, like, they were born in Vegas.
What do you want your daughters to really know you as or know you for?
I want them to know me for like my soft side.
Like they know I have a soft side and like that not many people see.
And I just want to know like my mom, my mom did her thing.
My mom like took care of the people around her who like she loved and she gave her all.
Unapologetic.
Yeah.
I love that.
And what advice would you give to that woman out there right now that is struggling with, you know,
should she make that leap of faith and go and, you know, start her own.
business or become an entrepreneur, what would you tell somebody? I'd rather regret something that I did
than regret something I didn't do. Oh, that's a good one. Yeah. That's a good quote. I might take that
from you. Do it, girl. I think I will. I like that. I like that. I absolutely love that for you. Because I
rather like say, fuck, I did that, then fuck, I should have done that. Yeah. And then even if you
fail, because it's never really a failure. You didn't fail. You tried. Yeah. It's just like
another like step to what you wanted. It's just not even any failure. It's just like a step. It's a little
A little lesson, whatever. A little setback for the comeback. It's all good. Doesn't matter.
Tell them what perception.
You are really, I mean, I hope today's audience or today's listeners really took a lot out of your book.
I love how you are unapologetically you.
I love that for you.
I do.
I really love that you, you know, coming into, and I know what it's like, because the industry I'm in, being in a predominantly white male industry, older white male, is a challenge in itself, right?
But I feel like, you know, as things evolve, hopefully, we're not that progressive with women.
But you really are a trailblazer for women and unapologetic women.
You can be, and I talk about this all this time, you can be a mom.
You can be a hot mom.
You can be a hot mom that is a wife.
You can be all of those things.
And I hope that today's audience understands that the opportunity for women is endless.
You just have to take it.
You really do.
You really do.
And just one and more example.
Like when I was getting busy again and I just had my second and I was talking to my sister on the phone and I was like, oh, God, we're going to bring on this nanny.
And this is how much it's going to be.
And I'm like, wow, it's going to be.
be a lot like because I mean when it comes to a nanny I'm the one who pays for the nannies and stuff
like that and my sister goes she just stays quiet she goes well you're just going to have to make
more money and when she said that to me I was like you're right yeah and like it totally like
it wasn't like oh my god I need to you know do this I'm not going to be able to it was like no
get your shit together you got to make more money and I did it and made more money I mean that's
how it is and I do think that whatever you sky's a limit for women I agree I think women just need to
take advantage of it.
Take full advantage of it.
So your feet are only fans.
So your vagina.
I don't care.
So you're flat jacks.
Whatever you want to do.
But like,
do it unapologetically.
Yeah.
Own it.
Own who you are.
Like there's no,
there is endless opportunity.
No more victim blaming.
Like,
it has to stop.
It really does.
And I feel for women
that feel like they can't do it
because you really can.
I actually don't feel for them.
Our next episode is going to be all the things
that you shouldn't be doing
and all the things that we hate
because you're going to come back
and we're going to do it.
I want to do that.
No,
thrill.
Talking shit.
And can we talk about like all the shit events?
Yeah, why not?
I want to do that too.
Well, like unapologetic, no filter, we might get canceled.
Never.
No, you don't think, yeah, whatever.
Fuck it.
Yeah, what are you going to do?
Nothing.
I mean, look at our president.
We're fine.
I don't care.
It's all good, right?
If he can do it, we can do it.
We could do it too.
We could go into politics.
Oof, you don't want me to go down that.
That's the root slope because I'll piss a lot of people off.
Yeah, me too, girl.
Well, I appreciate you coming out here.
Thank you for bringing your daughter.
She's so cute, too.
