Now more with Bill Meyer.
So great to have you here this Monday morning.
Freezing fog, a lot of fog in many places, so just watch that.
I slipped getting into the PT this morning, getting into the car, and I ended up having some old rubbing alcohol that had been sitting up in the cabinets from the COVID date.
I ended up spraying that over the windshield.
By the way, that works pretty well.
You know, you can only, I guess what happens is that the plastic starts getting into your rubbing alcohol after a while.
You know, it always comes in plastic these days.
So I'm guessing that must be why they have a date on it.
So my stuff is the old stuff from the COVID time.
I'm spraying it over the windshield.
Works great.
Works right.
You don't have to go by the expensive windshield, the icing kind of things.
All right, 12 minutes after 6, on to the other stuff.
Hey, do you think that the general consensus here in Southern Oregon is that ice needs to go
and that ice needs to be crushed and that ice sucks and that we don't need to have immigration law enforced at all?
because if you were to look at the media coverage of what was happening over the weekend,
the answer is that there's a pretty good percentage of people that want absolutely no ice activity here in Southern Oregon.
And do you think that is the majority?
It's certainly the majority of the noisy people right now here.
I was heading out to the, oh, what do they call that, the Providence Flying Saucer on Saturday.
I call it whatever that place is, the Stewart Meadows, the clinic.
I was going to go have some work done.
I'm going to go see my imaginary friend later this week.
You know, once a year you've got to go see the primary care physician.
My imaginary friend, normally you always see anybody but the doctor, as it were.
But I was going over there.
And there was over there at Stewart and Highway 99, there was, I'd probably say about a hundred,
maybe a few more than a hundred.
But it looked to me about a hundred people lining the streets.
And they were all holding up signs such as crush eyes.
and ice get out of here and, you know, ICE is killing us and various other things,
which is really interesting that, you know, ICE has killed no one in Oregon that I am aware of,
although they did shoot a couple of gangbangers that allegedly tried to run them down with their
car in Portland on Friday. This is where that all started, you know, the Portland situation.
And you have everybody going out there and just going nuts about it.
So you had about 100, maybe a few more.
You know, counting on the flies I'm driving by in the car.
I just kind of shook my head as I'm going by and because, you know, honestly, if they were being honest,
they would just be saying we want no immigration enforcement.
I suppose we could have that kind of conversation if you wanted to in our democracy,
in scary air quotes.
But I think it's really what we're talking about.
I don't think if they were illegal aliens.
Now, see, that might be an interesting question.
Do you think if they weren't illegal aliens and they were just people wanted by the cops,
do you think that anybody would be going out there and saying anything about this at all, even from the left?
I don't know.
But about 100 or so in Medford, maybe more than that.
Now, there could have been more over at McAndrews and Biddle.
I didn't go by McAndrews and Biddle at that point yesterday.
or on Saturday when they were doing the protests.
So there may have been some over there too, so I don't want you to say that's just all.
But I'm looking at a report here from KOBI, and they claim, let's see,
after Senator Merckley's Town Hall on Sunday afternoon, Rogue Valley residents took to the streets to protest ice.
Oh, so they did it yesterday after the Merckley deal.
One poster said Saturday night's vigil for Renee Good was about mourning and Sunday was about rage.
K-OBI reporting multiple sources said that 2,000 people marched from Triangle Park to downtown Ashland Plaza in their disapproval of ice.
The protest was entirely peaceful with only a few cars flipping the bird or shouting disapproval at the organized crowd.
The point of the protest was to show the Rogue Valley's disapproval of ice and the absence of accountability for goods' death.
This kind of shows you, I think, how the nonsense has spread pretty quickly in our, well, I guess we're in a post-fact, post-truth kind of United States of America, don't you think?
Because the latest videos that we're now seeing from bystanders, I think it may have been another ICE officer videotaping it, showed that Renee Good was not scared.
Did not seem to be scared at all.
and her wife ended up yelling at one point, drive, baby, drive.
You know, the wife was kind of like aching her on out there.
At least that was my interpretation of watching the video.
I don't know if you saw that too.
But, you know, this idea that she was scared and trying to get away from the ICE officer,
it's not looking that way.
In fact, there's even a picture of her straight on, and she has a smile on her face.
You know, this was all part of her protest.
She was one of the people who were training to cause trouble for immigration and custom enforcement officers.
And so I'm getting less and less sympathy.
I was trying to hold my judgment on this for a while because, you know, I'm looking at this.
Hey, it's always possible that you have someone who's really scared and does the wrong thing, hits the gas, and boom off you go.
You know, it's the fight or flight sort of thing.
I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt.
I wanted to.
but the more that the information comes out and video from different angles,
it doesn't look all that great from Renee Good.
And it looks better for the ICE officer.
Although there is one thing I would pose a question to you this morning, though.
Our ICE officer is being trained to do the right thing if they're getting in front of vehicles.
That sounds like some of the dumbest training that I've ever heard of.
I mean, in all seriousness, in all seriousness, I'm talking about just as, you know, police procedure,
isn't it the dumbest thing in the world to get in front of a vehicle or the back of a vehicle during a stop unless you make sure that the vehicle is shut down?
So I want to be fair, you know, to all sides on this one.
But the report here, okay, but anyway, I know I'm kind of, you know, scattershotting to a lot of different things.
But, yeah, the KOBI story claiming about 2000 in Ashley.
You think there were 2000?
Do you think we have a majority of people here in Southern Oregon?
You know, if you're going to have 2,000 or 3,000 people protesting,
do you think that that's a majority,
that the majority want the ICE and the roundups
and the deportations of illegal aliens to stop?
Do you think that?
I think it's a reasonable question to pose.
18 minutes after 6-770-5633-7-0-K.
We'd love to get your take on that.
And anything else on the news this morning, too.
Hi, good morning. This is Bill. Who's this? Welcome.
Yeah, this is Brian Weldon.
Hey, Brian. What's going on with you? It was interesting. You said 100 or so down there in Medford.
Well, yeah, that's what we saw about now. That was just my estimation going in and out of the medical procedure, getting my blood tested on Saturday.
Yeah. It was about 100, but that was one section of Medford. There could have been other protests and others. I didn't go to McAndrews and Biddle, which is usually a big protesting area.
but there could have been something going on there, too.
Well, yeah, here at the courthouse on Saturday, we had about a dozen.
And to me, it's all motivated a lot.
I could be wrong, but by indivisible, Matt Spurlock and his little gang are all out there in front of the courthouse.
There's about a dozen of them, and they lasted about an hour, and they all went home.
But, you know, I just don't understand how Southern Oregon is the majority of conservatives
and how this is just allowed, especially when I hear in Ashland.
Well, what do you mean?
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Brian, you just said why this is allowed.
Well.
Isn't that our right to be able to go out there?
It is, but I just don't see where a vast majority of conservatives are just going to go along with this.
And, you know, let them all stand out there and wave their signs and yell at cars and carry.
on like they've been doing here with the No Kings Rally.
Okay.
In other words, you're complaining that there aren't Republicans countering the Democrats.
Is that what you're saying?
Yeah, pretty much.
Oh, okay.
Well, maybe it's because we don't think there's any necessary need to protest what ICE is doing,
because generally speaking, I think we're supporting that, are we?
Yeah.
I mean, they're the ones that are upset, right?
You know, usually people go out and protest something because they're upset about it.
But, I mean, that's why they call it a protest, right?
Well, yeah.
I would send a letter to Trump saying bring some more of them here to, you know, to Southern Oregon and, you know, ICE agents and, you know, but then again, you know, they're not breaking the law.
Well, yeah, that was my point.
They're not breaking.
My point with always they ask, though, do you think that the majority of Southern Oregon's overall,
are in favor of enforcing immigration law or not enforcing immigration law.
And if you were to just judge them, and I try to be fair about these kind of things,
do you think that there is a majority in the state of Oregon who don't want ICE enforcing immigration law, period?
No.
You don't?
No.
Okay.
So it's a silent majority in your view then.
Yes.
All right.
I just wanted to be careful that, you know, why don't we, why do Republicans let us?
this happen and it's kind of like
because
you know we can protest too if we don't like things
like when when queen kotech
does bad things which seems to be
often yeah
well I
I think my biggest concern a lot of
other conservatives here in southern Oregon
is we just don't want to slowly
turn into Portland
and Salem yeah it would help if
conservatives then wouldn't move a way
though because every time
conservatives move away yes yeah
It becomes that much more difficult.
It's kind of a hard, you know, fight that losing battle with fewer troops, so to speak.
All right.
All right, Brian, just say, thanks to the call.
I appreciate it.
Find out what's going on in Josephine County, Jackson County.
So I saw like 100, but, you know, the news reports are saying 2000 in Ashland.
I don't know, though.
Maybe 2000 in Ashland, especially after their king, Senator Merckley was speaking.
It could have been 2000.
I suppose could have been 2000, right?
You know, Indivisible and all those other folks ended up.
getting their people together.
They want to go out and protest something.
But they're not being honest about it.
They're not being honest about what happened with Renee Good the other day.
And we don't know the entire, entire story.
But the more the story that we hear, the worse it looks for Renee Good,
that she was just another stupid protester doing stupid things
and ended up paying the ultimate price for it.
But I would also want to be fair and ask,
why are ICE agents getting in front of cars?
just as police
procedure.
Is that a reasonable thing?
Anybody else who has been a cop out there
or knows cops out there?
You don't ever get in front of the vehicle, do you?
Why are they?
I hope it's not one of the things
where they're trying to invite a confrontation
of some sort.
I don't think that's what's going on,
but I can't get in the minds of everybody here.
So that's why I think that, you know,
there's wiggle room for disagreement on all around.
But this idea that we don't have ICE-enforce immigration law to me is utter nonsense.
This is the Bill Meyer show.
What's on your mind?
Tell me, 7705633.
We have a good hour of open phone calls and topics.

Media is not telling the other side of what Republicans are saying
that is unreasonable that the Democrats keep putting forward.
We're done funding health care for illegals.
Yes, we're done.
We're done.
And I watch ABC and Good Morning America because you know they're going to talk about it.
They never mention that part.
They'll even play clips of different Republicans but never get that message to their viewers

Weekdays 9 to noon on 1063, KMED.
Hi, this is Mark from Jay Austin, and I'm on KMED.
Speaking of Jay Austin, I was thinking about that,
looking at the gold and silver prices this morning.
And I think there's a pretty good reason we know what's happening with.
gold and silver prices. Gold hit an all-time high again this morning. We are at 4596, just a
couple of bucks under 4,600. Silver has soared to $84.32 per Troy ounce. Platinum, let's see,
you don't have plat, yeah, platinum at 23, 25, and it's gone up another two and a half percent.
and I think this has to do with the muscling around going on with the Fed chair.
And I'm looking at this.
And by the way, I'll take your calls here just a minute.
So hang on.
I wanted to get this story out here first.
But Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell has been, well, he's under criminal investigation.
Department of Justice under Pam Legally Bundy has opened up a criminal investigation into Fed Chair Powell.
And Powell confirmed in a statement on Friday that officials threatened a criminal indictment over his Senate Banking Committee testimony in June.
In that testimony, Powell noted concern in part a multi-year project to renovate historic federal office buildings.
Federal Bank chief dismissing the idea that this criminal probe was driven by his testimony or the renovation.
The one thing I want to make sure that you understand, folks, is that the renovation and everything has been done so far was approved by Congress.
Congress, but the Trump administration is going after Powell, and I think you can make a pretty good
case to argue that they want him out earlier rather when the end of his term is in May, because
the Trump economy wants, where I should say the Trump administration, which I guess is the
Trump economy, really, wants cheaper money. Well, the gold and silver markets are looking
this, and they're going, okay, more inflation, they're going to print to the moon. That's the
whole idea. I think that is part of what is driving.
those super spikes in here.
Now, I think the criminal investigation is politically motivated, in my opinion.
I think that's what's going on.
This is about getting cheaper money because the federal government is in desperate
straits to try to refinance all of that 80 or 38.6 or 7 trillion.
I think there's a little bit of that going on right now, and they would love,
they would love Powell to quit right now.
So they go after him over the redecorating of the Fed system.
It's so blatantly.
It's such a blatant BS deal.
But let me tell you, though, the price of the gold and silver is not, though.
Talk to Jay Austen Company, golden silver buyers in Ashland at 1632 Ashland Street and 6th and G in downtown Grants Pass.

Fortunereserve.com.
They will help you trade or one way or the other.
Although I have a feeling at these prices, maybe more people are selling this.
buying but either way it is uh you know the markets are screaming inflation inflation inflation
inflation 4587 83 92 for uh silver right now okay by the way call uh call j austin rather at
482 3715 482 3715 482 3715 fortune reserve dot com so i'm kind of mixing the news and a
little sponsor mentioned while we're at that okay dave's here hello dave how are you this morning
welcome oh i'm okay uh i'm okay uh
I just wanted to say is if there was 2,000 people that showed up, that's, yeah.
And this is the protests in Ashland after the Merckley meeting.
Now, I could see some of that after the Merckley meeting.
That probably attracted quite a few people ready to pay homage to their king.
But anyway.
Yeah, so 2,000 people isn't that much.
But remember, Merckley is named and taking money from Maduro.
maybe that's why he's still against the ice agents,
because I'm hearing Maduro singing like an opera right now, naming names.
Well, if so, that would be very interesting.
You're right, Dave, I appreciate the call.
Right.
The question I was posing is, do you believe that the anti-ice sediment
that was on display over the weekend in the anti-ice?
anti-ice protests here in Medford, Ashland-Gaans Pass.
Is that indicative of a majority of Oregonians in favor of getting ice out of here and stopping
the deportations?
What do you think?
I mean, honestly, not just talking about what Republicans are thinking or maybe just,
do you think there's that much support, that there's lots of support for keeping illegal aliens,
illegal, and in the state of Oregon.
Maybe we'll just pose it that way.
770KMED.
Back to your phone calls this Monday morning.
Hi, this is Bill. Good morning. Hello.
Good morning, Bill. Declorable Patrick here.
DP, welcome. It's great to have you as a member of the early morning commenters club. Go ahead.
Well, two things. First of all, I think you'll see a change in procedure that the ICE agents and other officers will not stand in front of a car with a running motor.
it's probably going to turn out that way.
I would hope so because that's pretty bad police procedure.
Most times police will not stand in front of you for that very reason.
Bad things can happen, right?
That wouldn't get, that wouldn't allow her.
She can't run over him because he wasn't supposed to be standing there.
Yeah.
We know that.
But anyway, my main thing that I was thinking last night needed to be brought up on the show.
is that idiot mayor of many in that Minneapolis saying she was just trying to get away.
Well, you know what, woman, you should have tried to get away before the ICE agents told you to stop the car.
It's interesting.
Like I said, I'm not happy that this thing happened.
I don't think anybody's happy that this ended up in a death.
But she was screwing around in doing a protest.
She was trained to do this to try and was following,
and apparently he had been following ice around in quite a few places,
and they were kind of getting upset about this,
and then she blocks the road.
Well, you can do all sorts of things,
but you can't block the road.
And once you start doing those things,
and once you're not following orders,
they told her to get out of the car,
then she hits the gas.
Well, I know the last shot that I saw of her
on one of those videos of the bystander,
of another, of a different ice agent,
you know, she's sitting there smiling.
She's sitting there smiling and looking,
straight ahead. You know, this idea that she was frightened and trying to get away is not looking
credible at the moment, deplorable Patrick. It's just not looking right.
Democrat mayors are not credible. And when the cop tells you to stop, get out of the car,
just trying to get away is not acceptable. Agreed. And it shows you how these liberals think.
Well, that's why we have had such incidents in cities like Minneapolis as the summer of George Floyd.
You know, the peaceful protesters burning down the cities in many cases.
All right.
All right.
Thank you, Bill.
Thank you, D.P.
632.
Do you agree with Patrick?
I'm still going to keep the question out there, though.
Is that the majority?
Just think about Oregon.
Is Oregon crazy enough that we really don't want ICE?
around it all and we want ice
crushed. I'm talking about the entire
state as a whole overall.
Now I know that we lend blue
but do you think that even
all the blue highline folks
and even there are a majority
of wanting no enforcement
they don't want criminals removed from
the country, they want the criminals staying here
even the ones who were shot
the two who were shot Friday
in Portland
essentially
Venezueling gangbangers
Trans de Aragua.
I always kind of messed that up trying to stumble over that Spanish.
But the woman who was shot is apparently part of the prostitution side of it.
And then the other man was a gang member also.
So we have two gang members who were already suspected of being in another gang banging shooting incident a few months ago in Portland.
What?
We're supposed to sit around and cry about that?
Like the Portland police chief did?
you know, crying about that on Friday?
I don't get it, but is that the majority?
Have we deteriorated in Oregon to that point that that is the majority of the thought process in Oregon?
What do you believe? 770KMED.
We'll continue your calls.
From the KMED News Center, here's what's going on.
Governor Tina Kotech has made her third emergency declaration for the homeless.
The initial homelessness emergency was declared the day after Kotech was inaugurated in 2023.
Cotech says more needs to be done to serve people connected with the justice system,
expand behavioral health capacity and improve coordination between housing and health systems.
Oregon's Department of Justice has a new tip line to get information on potential violations of the law
related to the shooting of two Venezuelans by border security agents in Portland last week.
The two were confirmed by Portland police to have connections to a Venezuelan gang.
The Oregon Attorney General's office claims Oregonians should have
a trusted way to report concerns. A federal judge has ruled in favor of Washington and Oregon in a case
against President Trump's executive order on elections. The order would require voters to show proof
of citizenship threatened to withhold election funding to states that didn't follow the order and would
have prevented the counting of ballots received after election day. Bill London, KMED.

The question du jour.
We've got a few thousand folks in southern Oregon protesting over the week on ice.
Even though I know that we are blue, we're a little redder.
Even than some of the reds and the blues,
do you think that overall we are supportive of ice activities
and maybe even more ice activity in Oregon?
Or are you kind of agreeing with what's going on with the protests
that you don't want ice here?
And if you're not, hey, I'm still happy to talk with you about it,
then we can kick that around and have good conversation.
Obviously, there are some people that are in great disagreement.
I don't really understand that, but me understanding it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
All right.
So maybe we can't understand a bit more.
7705-633-770 KMED.
Let me go to Vivian.
How you doing?
What's going on?
And what are your thoughts today?
Good morning, Bill.
Morning.
Oh, my thoughts are the last election, if you look at the counties that voted red, there are more counties in that voted red than voted blue.
Unfortunately, the concentration of blue is where the highest volume of people live.
And so the highest populated areas.
Yeah, certainly, you know, Salem and Eugene and Springfield, we're not Springfield, really, but Portland, Multnomah County.
Yeah, sure.
Yeah.
So I think probably most of us would really like ice here.
I personally would rather they be here than not.
But apparently Tina Kotech disagrees with us.
Well, we are an official sanctuary state.
We are not allowed.
Our law enforcement is not allowed to help them.
But it's one thing to not help, and it's another to actively thwart and stop them from trying to do anything.
And that's not good either.
Yeah, here in Gratts Pass, we've seen a rise in a number of protesters on things, and pretty much we think they're with the professional protesters that show up at things, and they move from city to city.
We've seen the same ones down in Medford that are up here, and wherever else they show up people along the state have seen them.
So it's interesting that they, that someone must be paying those people.
I mean, don't they have jobs?
I don't want to think that everyone, you know, I know that on the right side of things,
and I would say most of the people here are probably on the right.
I think we like to think that it's all a paid protester thing.
I don't think that's necessarily the case.
You know, when I'm seeing a lot of handmade signs, I think there's a lot of genuine
And, I mean, they may be professionally organized as far as groups such as, you know, ORD to indivisible, et cetera, et cetera, you know, getting everybody in on the show, so to speak.
I don't necessarily think they're all paid, though.
I don't think there's a lot of that going on.
I could be wrong, though.
Yeah, they sure have them.
They sure have them professional agitators, though.
Those guys with their bullhorns and, you know, can they outlaw the bullhorn.
because that just drives everybody in town.
I have one myself.
Maybe I should take my own out there.
But hey, appreciate the call, Vivian.
Thanks for that.
770, KMED.
John's in Medford.
John, I saw 100, maybe a little more than 100,
when I saw the anti-ice protesters out West Metford,
South Medford the other day.
I don't know.
What does your overall take on what we're seeing from the response to ice here in Oregon?
Well, Oregon and, you know, where it really kind of started.
you know, back with discovering all this fraud and abuse under Tim Walls, I mean, this is what brought this about.
And now people are protesting because they want to defend the illegal aliens and the graft and the grift of taxpayer money.
So what this is, this is just a, you know, a mass-induced, if not expel that people have to maintain to continue to be disconnected from the reality of what really brought this on.
I think it's an interesting point.
John, I appreciate you making it too.
You'd be well, okay?
Thanks.
7-7-0K-A-D.
I believe we have Vicki.
Hello, Vicki.
You got your coffee.
You're all set.
Loaded for beer?
Morning.
I'm good.
Okay, so, Bill, I have a really important point that I want to make this morning.
Okay.
And then I'll address ICE.
You know, this country was founded on immigrants.
In fact, the first people that came here were immigrants,
if you really think about it because the Indians had already lived here.
So when the big wave of immigrants came in way, way back, they were all vetted.
Okay, so they had to go through protocol to come into the country.
They had to give a good reason why they wanted to come here.
Yeah, you had to have a health inspection, you know, all that kind of things.
You couldn't be sick and brought in.
Yeah, kind of the basics of that time, sure.
Okay, so the difference between then and now,
is that we had a president in office that literally threw the gates open and allowed people in,
and he knew, they knew, they all knew, that they were bad, there was a lot of bad people coming through.
That was the motivation of opening the gates in this time right now.
My point is that ICE agents, although I'm sure there are immigrants that are being removed that are not bad people.
And I really feel for them.
Yeah, but they still broke the law.
They still broke the law.
They weren't allowed to be here.
Okay.
Well, that was my point.
They still broke the law.
And if they really wanted to come here, they need to go through the proper channels.
And as far as ICE, they are to protect us from all the bad people that were let in by Biden.
I don't think that any state, I don't understand why any state would not want them to come in to protect their citizens of their state who pay their paychecks,
make such, make it so hard to wear it now, they're actually attacking the ICE agents.
I really believe that America is a melting pot.
We need different cultures.
We need different religions.
As long as those aren't detrimental to our way of life.
And what ICE is doing is they're removing the rapists, the murderers, the drug addicts,
drug people that are telling our citizens.
Well, to your point then, the people they were after on Friday,
they announced that they were ICE agents,
and of course these were a couple of people that are now been accused,
rather, of having been involved in another gang shooting a few months ago
in the streets of Portland.
And so they tried to get away, apparently,
by trying to use their vehicle as the proverbial weapon,
as they've been talking about or weaponizing their car.
and doing that.
And, you know, don't you find it interesting that everybody's getting all hot and bothered in Portland
about a couple of gangbangers and prostitutes, you know, prostitute ring people?
Well, the whole thing is, is if I'm a regular citizen, if I had an issue, if I wanted to protest,
that's what America is about also.
We still should have a voice.
And we still should be able to voice that.
without using 4,000-pound weapons against agents,
that would be like me going downtown and finding the first police officer
or the first, you know, National Guard person
and just trying to use any means possible to eliminate them.
Okay.
Thanks for the call there.
770-733.
7-E-D-770-633.
We're talking about the reaction from Portland, the protests over the weekend.
What are your general impression of it?
Do you think that that's a majority of Oregon?
And I think there's a pretty good portion of Oregon that probably is that anti-ice.
I don't know if it's the majority at this point.
That's why I'm asking.
Hi, good morning.
This is Bill.
Who's this?
Good morning, Bill.
It's Francine.
Francine.
A pleasure having you on.
Did you have any protest Saturday in talent?
Just curious.
No, I didn't.
I don't leave the house.
Okay.
I'm like, that's going on.
Don't leave the house.
Okay, I just, you just hide, put the blanket over your head.
I get it.
I understand.
Listen, I live way out of town.
Why would I want to go to town when there's that kind of stuff going on?
I've got, you know, trees and the birds and the bees and blah, blah, blah, you know.
Okay.
Anyway, my son, I was speaking to him.
He lives right across the street from Triangle Park.
He said, he was describing it to me on the phone.
He says, there's one guy who's got an American flaggy, he's wearing it as a cape,
and he's running around and he's kind of running in the opposite direction of the other people.
And so we're trying to figure out if he's part of it or not.
We decided he was probably part of it, you know.
Okay, now, the story is that that was reported in K-OBI.
There was about 2,000, more than 2,000 people there.
Well, not in Triangle Park there weren't.
Okay.
That's parks way too little for that.
But, you know, what we keep, again, we keep, you know, talking about this is what's going on,
and that's what's going on, and this is what's making people do certain things and all that.
We forget what we're dealing with is the Marxist theory of agitation and propaganda,
so to inspire and mobilize the masses against capitalist oppression.
Okay.
And that's why we have all these idiots running around,
because they've been brainwashed to believe that everything is really awful.
It's been going on for a very, very long time, so it's not like all these people suddenly got turned, you know.
Their parents were, might have been, you know, red diaper but doper babies, right?
As Michael Savage used to say, right?
But see, what you have to remember is how successful this kind of theory, or not theory, this kind of agitation and stuff is, how successful it is, how it really gets people worked up.
And you can't tell them they're wrong because they believe it with all their heart.
I mean, you know, look at Black Lives Matter, how that started.
That's the, you know, the three women with their, you know, how many mansions does that woman own now?
You know, she's got all the money from, what is it, the blue company, something called Blue Something.
By the way, speaking of money, I wanted to add something, did you hear that the quotation mark,
wives of the woman who died in Minneapolis, she's now a millionaire because of GoFund me.
donations. Have you heard that?
No, but maybe I'll turn gay and stand there and cheer somebody else until they get shot.
Drive, baby, drive, baby. They get a million dollars from the leftist.
You know, in all, you know, now in all seriousness, no, there is talk, though, about charging her, charging her for incitement.
Now, the thing is, if they charge her with a crime, then GoFundMe will not give her the money.
So I'm sure she's probably sweating that one because she'll make bank at least.
and be able to feel a lot better of the situation if, yeah, her wife may have died, but then she's a millionaire.
People are so ignorant.
They're so ignorant.
It drives me crazy.
I mean, I'm not the most brilliant person in the world, but close, but not quite.
You crack me up, though, Francie.
Thanks for the call.
Always happy to talk with you.
770KM.D.
It's kind of noodling around on this issue here because, you know, several thousand over the weekend in the state of Oregon protesting.
Now, you know, is it one of those things where those several thousand ends up being, you know,
you know, several million if you were to extrapolate it to the entire state?
I mean, not everybody goes out there.
We're only 4.2 million.
But anyway, hi, good morning.
Who's this?
Welcome.
Good to have you on.
Hello.
This is Kenneth Brownwood's here.
Hello, Kevin.
How are you?
And what's on your mind?
Kenneth O'Brien.
Oh, Kenneth.
Good morning, Kevin.
Kenneth, rather.
Pardon me.
Did you want to speak to me about national security?
are the issues. I had you on my calendar.
I had not booked you this morning, Kenneth. I appreciate that.
But no, I had not this morning.
Oh, okay. It's a mistake, so...
Okay.
Sorry to talk about it.
All right. Right. Be well.
It's... I don't know what that was...
Oh, I think... I think Kenneth was pitched to me. I wonder why they thought it was...
Anyway, I might talk to him another time.
But, oh, well, that happens.
Hi, good morning. This is Bill. Who's this?
Welcome.
Hello.
Hello, this is Bill.
Good morning.
Who's this?
Yeah, this is Robin.
Hello, Robin.
Just woke up.
Not awake.
Can't talk much, but a couple of things that I'd like you to look into.
You need to pull up that clip from the police chief in Chicago explaining the rules.
And what's going on with this ice stuff, the laws and stuff.
You need to pull that up and play it for everybody.
It's very interesting.
Okay, well, there's a thousand video clips out there.
Tell me what you...
It's not a video clip.
It's just an audio clip.
It's being played, and you should listen to it anyway.
Okay, no, tell me, now, don't tell me I should listen to it.
Tell me what it says, then I can decide.
I don't want to argue with it.
No, no, no, I'm saying, explain to me what it said.
That's what I'm saying.
I can.
I'm not awake.
Oh, okay.
I just woke up.
I'm trying to drink some coffee.
The other thing is, this is a diversion from Tim Walls, Tim Pauce.
on Tim. The corruption is so bad that Democrats are all in on this. And you can call this
conspiracy or whatever, but you know, you just have to put, you know, just connect the dots.
It's very obvious. So distract from the real crimes still being committed. Exactly. All right.
What the Democrats do. This is out of the playbook.
All right. Well, I will take a look at that. Now, are you talking Chicago? You're saying Chicago
police chief, right?
It's very interesting. I think you'll enjoy it. Whatever. It's not very.
long, but he's explaining to people what the heck is going on and how they're breaking the law.
All right.
We'll do.
Appreciate the call, Kenneth.
Be well.
I really appreciate it.
Bye-bye.

including what was your thought about what happened with ICE protesters over the weekend.
7-7-0-K-M-E-D.
Now, Kenneth said, Bill, you have to get that Chicago Police Superintendent on.
I think it's that police superintendent.
I hope I found it, and I'm hoping that they don't do any cussing on the video.
If not, I'll have to dump out of this.
But here we go.
Let me make this clear.
Federal agents, ICE, HSI,
officers, they are agents of law enforcement.
If you box them in with vehicles, it is reasonable for them to believe that they are being ambushed
and that this could end in a deadly situation.
And it's reasonable for them to use force based on those conditions.
Do not box in any law enforcement officer.
You are breaking the law when you do that.
And you are putting yourself in danger following law enforcement agents around.
The question is why?
What are you planning on doing?
It's also reasonable for them to believe that you're eventually going to do harm to them.
If you ram any vehicle, especially that one that contains law enforcement agents, and that's any law enforcement, local, state, federal, county, and you do this intentionally, this is considered deadly force.
Deadly force is anything that can cause great bodily harm or death.
When you plow into a vehicle that contains law enforcement agents, you're using deadly force.
And they can use deadly force in response to stop you.
We need to be clear about these laws.
We cannot become a society where we just decide to take everything in our own hands
and start to commit crimes against law enforcement.
It is a crime.
You may not like what they're doing.
I can understand that there's a lot of emotions out there,
but that does not mean that you get to commit a crime,
especially one that could lead to deadly force.
We do not interfere with the duties and responsibilities of federal agents.
We need to keep everyone safe.
Okay, so there we go.
That is Larry Snelling,
Chicago Police Department
Superintendent. I think that's what Kenneth was
talking about a moment ago as he was getting
ready to
score some more coffee and get that
into his system there. By the way, Kenneth,
I wasn't trying to argue with you. I was just trying to
say what did he have to say. So
that's what he had to say.
Sounds pretty good. Now that's a police officer.
Now notice that he said, though,
that we are not to interfere
because Chicago will not allow Chicago
police to help
ICE agents.
But on the other hand, Larry is saying we are not going to interfere and that we are not allowed to interfere also.
Now, in Portland, on the other hand, we had the police chief.
I'll have to dig up that video here in a little bit.
He ended up crying as he was talking about the people who were shot by ICE agents in Portland on Friday.
You know, the prostitution ring Trend de Aragua gang members who were also wanted for being involved in another shooting incident in the city of Portland a few months ago.
I think this breaks down as to, what do we call it the priority of love?
The priority of love in which the priority of love, you know, first you have to love God,
and then you have to love your family, and then you love your community, the people within your community.
Your tribe, though, it's about loving your tribe and keeping that love in here.
We have a strange, strange distortion and perversion of that priority of love in which right now we're being,
told, especially by several thousand folks here in southern Oregon, I'm just using their numbers.
They were out protesting the ICE actions over the weekend.
It's an awful lot of protest against, well, their priority of love is that the invader,
the immigrant, the person who has not followed the rules and being here, the love is supposed
to go to that group first, and I think that is very, very corrosive.
All right.
Now, there is other news also going on this morning.
and I wanted to touch
on some of that.
And this has to do with the Trump administration
and the state of Oregon.
And Oregon's Secretary of State,
this is in Oregon Live,
and I want to make sure you knew about this one.
Oregon's Secretary of State,
Tobias Reid, announced late on Friday
that he's going to be cleaning up
and pairing back Oregon's voter rolls
to exclude people who have moved
and not updated their address
and who therefore have not been sent ballots
or voted in a number of years.
He did this because there's a court hearing that's coming up real soon with the Trump administration,
and the Trump administration trying to force Tobias and the elections division to better explain
how they ensure accuracy of the state's voters' roles.
And also they want, and remember Harmy Dillon talked about this a couple of months ago on the show,
also turning over highly personal information about every registered Oregon voter,
because their point is that Trump administration wanted to find out
how many foreign nationals were registered to vote. That's why this is all about.
Now, according to Oregon Live, so take it as the source it is, it's not exactly a supporter of the Trump administration.
The practical effect of the change will be minimal. It says, unlike most states, Oregon does not remove inactive voters who fail to vote in two consecutive federal general elections.
instead it designates most of them as inactive voters.
That designation largely has the same effect as removing them from the voter list.
However, election officials no longer send those people ballots.
However, see, this is the part for potential election hinky that can happen.
If you are a voter and your registration is out of date,
you can notify the county election office until election day of their new address
and still be issued a ballot.
People who have never been registered to vote in Oregon, by contrast,
have to register at least 21 days before an election to obtain a ballot.
Now, the question is, how do you notify the county clerk?
Can you just call the county clerk and say, hey, I've been inactive for a while,
and please send me my ballot.
This is my new address.
See what I'm getting at?
I'm wondering if that may be some of what goes on here,
and this is what the left-wing hive-minders like Tobias Reid don't want to talk about,
because if you're inactive, you're still there, and it's pretty easy then to get your voter ballot sent to you.
I don't know if that's one of the reasons why they fought so hard because they were fighting this tooth and nail.
Why would you want to leave inactive people on the voter's rolls unless it helped the potential voting hinky?
That's the only reason you would seem to want to do something like that.
But, and it has to been paired back since, now it does say here that Oregon's failure to pair,
Packett's voter rolls started in 2017 after then Secretary of State Dennis Richardson removed the
warning from Oregon voter confirmation cards that those inactive voters would be disenfranchised
if they failed to voted to federal general elections. The upshot his office said was that
Staten County elections offices lost the power to remove those individuals from the voter rolls. That
in turn caught the attention of the Trump administration as well as judicial watch and another
group that suspects voter fraud.
So there we go. So they are going to start cleaning up the voter rolls.
That's good. The inactive ones will be removed.
And it just strikes me that the Trump administration shouldn't have had to pressure Tobias
Reed, but that's just me, okay?
So the rest of the news coming up here in just a moment.
Hand of the update, a little opinion on the day.
And State Representative Dwayne Yonker will join me.
It is legislative days starting tomorrow.
And what's on the story?
I'm kind of curious, why would the Republicans be out there willing to help the Democrats repeal the ODOT law?
You know, the big ODOT tax?
Anyway, we'll talk about that and a bunch more on KMED and KMED HD-1 Eagle Point Medford, KBXG grants pass.
Need a roof that performs...
