Starting point is 00:00:00 This hour of the Bill Meyer Show podcast is proudly sponsored by Klauser Drilling. They've been leading the way in Southern Oregon well drilling for more than 50 years. Find out more about them at Klauserdrilling.com. Now more with Bill Meyer. Delighted to have you here. As wheels up Wednesday continues, it's open phone time, 77056633-770 KMody. And I can turn it over to you to direct the agenda if you so wish to. Otherwise, I have plenty that I certainly want to talk.
Starting point is 00:00:30 about this morning. 770-0-8-7-0-633. I'm going to do some emails of the day here just to, because I've had so many good people writing and I haven't always given it enough love. And I had a little break in the action thought I could do this. Emails of the day are, of course, sponsored by Dr. Steve Nelson and Central Point Family Dentistry. My dentist, in fact, I went there yesterday, got a crown put in.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Gosh, that was so easy. And I think the only thing that is rough about a crown placement there, not when they put it on but I had it right in the in the top of my head at the very back getting a crown put in there and it's just the drill is loud but he can't do anything about that it's just physical but it was a great experience and you know it's funny how it works out sometimes so it's just just a little aside you know so I'm there it's about 2.30 in the afternoon they got the tooth prep then ground off so that they can put the crown on top of it so that I can keep this tooth tooth. I've been trying to keep this tooth for a while and working it and water picking it and
Starting point is 00:01:31 it had a deep pocket. So let's put a crown on it and maybe close it up a little bit. So that's why we decided to do. That's the treatment thing. And so, and then Dr. Steve says, all right, Bill, well, it's going to be about 45 minutes while we make the crown. They got the Ronian House lab, right? And so you could, you know, get on your phone and get your glasses on, get on your phone and do all this kind of stuff. And you could go over to Albertsons. you just walk around the office if you want to also, or you could sit there and do nothing. And so I said, 45 minutes, I sat there and did nothing.
Starting point is 00:02:06 I didn't look at the phone. I didn't catch up on emails. I didn't catch up on text messages or guest bookings or any, all the other stuff I would normally be doing. It was a blissful 45 minutes. It was, I don't know how it is. I was so relaxed. I'm staring at the TV screen above me,
Starting point is 00:02:22 and they have like some documentary of animal seed creatures. that was like going to go, huh, ha, ha, ha, ha. But anyway, it worked out well. Central Point Family Dentistry.com, good people there, okay? I know there's a long explanation, but I had to tell you about doing nothing. And then I realized how seldomly I do nothing. And it felt great to do nothing. That's why I joke about, what are you going to do on vacation?
Starting point is 00:02:46 I'm going to do nothing. Thank you very much. All right. Jim writes me this morning, and I'll get to your calls here just a minute. I know people are lining up here. I will definitely get to you. Jim from Grants Pass says, hey Bill, next time Dwayne Yonker is on, ask him if he's running for governor. I follow him on Facebook.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Sounds like a much better candidate than Flaky Drazen. I'm a retired disabled combat vet myself, Army combat vet myself. Like his no BS attitude always knows where he stands. Much respect for that. Jim, I don't think he's running for a governor this time. He has not announced he's not going to do that. And, you know, I think Dwayne would probably be wasted on a governor run. on a gubernatorial run.
Starting point is 00:03:27 I could see him doing other things that. I don't know. It's what trying to be governor is Oregon solvable with a different governor? I don't know. But I'll ask him, okay? 770K.M.D. Arthur writes me this morning. Bill, maybe he already mentioned this. One Joe County Commissioner resigning and one being recalled has happened before back in 2011.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Commissioner Dwight Ellis resigned sometime in August and led the effort. to recall Commissioner Sandy Cassinelli, then Commissioner Simon Hare, and Commissioner Cassinelli selected Don Reedy to fill Dwight's vacant position. Then the recall succeeded, and Sandy had to leave office in December 2011. Then Commissioner Hare and Commissioner Reedy selected Harold Hagen to finish out Sandy's term. History repeats itself. Yeah, Arthur, that's one kind of history. I hope that Josephine County can get over it, just saying.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Bill, and this is coming from Michael, Bill saying, been watching Fox Live standoffs between morons and ice in Minneapolis. I wonder why they don't just use water cannons on those idiots. It's cold there. Get them wet. They'll have to leave or freeze to death. That is interesting. Wouldn't that be interesting if ice had water cannons in Minneapolis?
Starting point is 00:04:43 Yeah. Boy, that would be cold. 770-5633. And before I get to the calls, one more email. And this is from Bob Hayworth. Bill, it was really interesting hearing Greg's experience with false arrests. I had a similar experience. This is Greg Roberts over at Rogue Weather, by the way.
Starting point is 00:05:02 He talked about that Friday. I had a similar experience in L.A. one night. I was getting into my parked car after visiting a friend when I was suddenly surrounded by flashing red and blue and an officer jumped out telling me to get on the sidewalk. No explanation. He cuffed me and told me to sit down. It was 15 minutes before I was told they had the wrong guy and they said I could go.
Starting point is 00:05:22 but as with Greg during the cuffing and complied, I said nothing during the cuffing and complied, and because of that, I'm still alive. If you're innocent, you have to know things will work out in your favor. Bob, I appreciate you emailing Bill at Billmyershow.com. On to the calls this morning since it is open phones. Hi, good morning. This is Bill. Welcome to the show. Who's this?
Starting point is 00:05:44 Good morning, Bill. It's Vicki from the Appalachian. Good morning. Vicki. How's life there in the AG? Oh, my God. I slept in this morning. I know what you mean about just like not doing anything for 45 minutes. It felt so good to get that extra hour of sleep. That was bizarre. Like I said, I'm sitting in the dental chair, and it wasn't a bad dental chair as long as they have a recline, right? And there's actually, I think, a principle here, too, that we surround ourselves with so much noise from time to time, that it is therapeutic just to shut down the noise, not focus on anything.
Starting point is 00:06:19 and whether you want to pray or meditate, whatever the case might be, kind of reconnect to real life. And real life is not always what we're being told to pay attention to all the time. Oh, my gosh. Well, that's my life every day, Bill. I am so blessed to be up here in the Applegate. I mean, the sun was, it felt like spring. I just sat and let the sun warm me and listen to the birds. And it's just, yeah, place.
Starting point is 00:06:49 We are really blessed in such a beautiful place if we weren't run by such idiot morons, but, you know, I digress. As you know, I don't have Internet, so I'm not on my phone 24-7. I don't have TV, so I'm not, you know, zoned into the rhetoric. And, I mean, I get to enjoy beauty every single day. Good. And quiet. Good for you. I'm going to give you a real American salute just because, okay?
Starting point is 00:07:18 It's because you're connected. All right? It's a good habit. It's a good habit. It gets silent for a little bit each day, right? Thank you, Vicki. Good morning. This is Bill. Who's this? Welcome to the show. This is John. John. Hello, John. How are you? Good. So when I was 16 years old, I had a 55 Chevy, and I was converting it from an automatic to a stick, and I had a mechanic, and we could use his gas station until 7 in the morning. And we started working on it. And at 2 in the morning, we realized that the pilot bearing doesn't fit the automatic versus the stick. And we found a place that was open all night.
Starting point is 00:07:58 So at 2.30 in the morning, I drove an hour away to get this pilot bearing. And finally we got it. And just as we had to leave the gas station, whether the car was done or not, at 7 in the morning when it opened. And we literally drove out right at 7 in the morning and we got it done. But it was quite an adventure. So that pilot bearing, I mean, we had all the other parts, the clutch, the, you know, everything that we needed to make it work. But the pilot bearing, nobody thought of that it wouldn't fit. You know, it's so little and kind of out of the way.
Starting point is 00:08:31 I remember I had a situation like that one time in which I did a conversion. I did what Eric had warned us all against. And I was 19, first time I think I was, no, I was in my early 20s, first time it was screwing around with old Volkswagen. and trying to take, I took an automatic engine and I was putting it in a stick shift 411. That's what I was doing, right? And it didn't have a pilot bushing in it. And I'd never thought about the pilot pushing. And then I tried to activate the clutch.
Starting point is 00:09:02 It would go into the crankshaft, the transmission shaft would go in there and fit. But when you would shift, oh, man, it was an awful mess, you know. It needs that. And then I had to take it all apart again. And so I had to laugh when I heard, you know, people talking about their – I'm glad you didn't mess it up like I did that one time. Anyway, it's just funny. I haven't heard about that in 62 years. I just struck my funny bow. Now, in about 20 or 30 years, no one who will be listening to anybody will know anything about that there ever was such a thing as a manual transmission. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:09:36 Right. That's right. But, you know, my car, I raced at Woodburn Dragstrip every weekend. And, you know, it was fun. 55 Chevy with a small Corvette motor and headers and the hearse shifters and the 4-speed, 4-11 rear-round. It was fun to race. Oh, that sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing the story, John. I appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:09:57 770 KBD. We're just noodling around or whatever this morning. Hi, good morning. KMED, who's this? Hey, Bill, it's deplorable Patrick. Good morning. And yes, I was hearing about that when I was a teenager. the 55, 56, and 57 Chevys, if they had an automatic, they came with what was called an unfinished crank.
Starting point is 00:10:19 And you had to have it machined in order to receive the pilot bearing. I threw that in because I have two other things I want to talk about. I'll try to be quick. And first one is, I thought about this too late. Can't Congress do what they're so good at doing, and that is delegating the, their responsibilities to somebody else, in this case, delegate the responsibility of tariffs to the president and do so retroactively? You know, I'm not sure if they can legally transfer that authority.
Starting point is 00:10:59 I believe, I'm just, this is just off the top of my head, okay, please. I'd almost have to do a little research. Well, I would have to do some research on this. I don't believe that they can officially say, well, we know the. Constitution says that all money is supposed to originate in Congress, but we're going to say for tariffs, we're going to transfer it to the executive. I don't know if they could authorize the president to do it, but you know what they could do is authorize the president's tariffs, what he's done. They could say, we authorize this and then put the laundry list of all the various tariffs. but it would stop them, but it would stop President Trump from doing this,
Starting point is 00:11:42 hey, I wake up this morning and throwing a dart and deciding, you know, well, this person gets a 25% tariff even though they didn't do it the day before. They could probably do it that way and keep them from having problems if the Supreme Court rules against the president. Is this kind of what you're getting at? Yes, because we need this. We can't be messing around. We're on the path of success.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Well, maybe it'll just turn out that the Supreme Court will, find a way to approve it, but there's other thing real quick. They might. I have this really nice, portable DVD player. I've never used it, but I pulled it out of the case, and I found that I don't have the power supply for it, but I was digging around here and found another power supply, which is called switching power supply. Yes.
Starting point is 00:12:36 What is a switching power supply? Well, see, because I'm worried about polarity. When you plug those things in, sometimes the little pin was positive. Sometimes it was the opposite. I don't want to mess it up. Well, you would have to check the polarity of the plug. Is it the same size plug? It looks like the same type.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Otherwise? I have a little bag of adapters. Oh, okay, great. All right. Well, look on the DVD player, and what you'll see is that they'll usually have a little outline of just, a glyph or a drawing of what the power polarity should be. One will say positive and the other
Starting point is 00:13:14 is negative. For the longest time, most of the time, the center pin was always positive and the outer shell was always negative, but that's not always the case. And so you have to make sure and do that. Guess what? They've cleverly disguised that. There is no such I definitely was looking for that
Starting point is 00:13:31 little diagram and they don't have it on the DVD player. It is on the power supply, but not on the DVDs. Right. Now, as to what a switching power supply is, it's just a different type of power supply. And here's how it works. Most of the wall warts you see, you know, the big wall warts that are really heavy, the older style ones. Those have a transformer inside them and a rectifier and usually a filtering capacitor to turn 110 volts into 12 volts or 18 or whatever your device needed, right? Well, what a switching power supply does, it doesn't have a bunch of that big heavy transformer in there. It actually is, how do I put it without getting too much off in the weeds?
Starting point is 00:14:13 It's very much like a computer switching supply, and they tend to be much smaller, more compact, and much more efficient than the old transformer styles. And they're pretty cheap to manufacture too, which is why they've pretty much taken over most of the power supplies you get. Okay? I pretty well, I'm almost ready to be a daredevil, tightrope, and plug this one in, hoping, I have a 50-50 chance of it being correct. That's true. Now, there may be, hopefully there's a protection diode in that DVD player, which would prevent the power supply from connecting to it if it's reversed. So give it a shot.
Starting point is 00:14:50 Well, you know, that's all you can do, okay? Oh, I have to do it outside? No, I don't think so. It'll either work or won't, okay? All right. Thank you, Bill. All right. Glad I could help. Kind of like a little bit of a mini electrician here this morning. Hi, good morning. Who's this? This is Bill.
Starting point is 00:15:11 Bill, this is Vicki McKin. I mean, from the Applegate. Again? Can I just talk to you? Well, yes, but I didn't ask my question. We were talking about tranquility. So my question was, off air, I asked you about the beer shot, and you were going to look into that. I have found absolutely nothing about that and anything legitimate. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:34 So it's probably just a farce. I just didn't want people to see that and go, oh, my God, you know, although it might be a good thing for people to stop drinking beer so much beer. Well, it seems like we're getting an awful lot of propaganda out of the state, out of the Washington, D.C. area these days to not drink at all. Now they're saying there is no safe drinking level. So, you know, we've only had people drinking since humanity figured out how to ferment something. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:16:03 So, okay, well, thank you so much. All right. Thank you. And by the way, what happens when you go to those blue zones, those blue zones around the world that the doctors go and investigate in which people live to such incredible, you know, ages? And one of the things almost all of them do is that they drink fried wine. But still, oh, we don't want to drink too much. And boy, the doctors sure do interrogate you all the time. How much are you drinking?
Starting point is 00:16:27 Are you moderately drinking? Nope, we can't even do moderately drinking any longer. If somebody is having fun, it must be stopped. This is the Bill Myers Show. Trucks, trucks, and more trucks. Butler Ford has over 100 new Ford trucks. Price to move with low interest, low, low payments, all with zero down, plus over 70 pre-owned units. Most, one owner, low mileage, still in warranty trucks and SUVs.
Starting point is 00:16:50 To look for local blood drives and get signed up. You're here in the Bill Myers show on one. 6-3 KMED. Ah, that was an opening with, it was the sound of insurrection. Wasn't it? Kevin Sterrett rejoined the program. And it is, well, it's our update on everything Second Amendment and more with politics. Kevin Sterard is the head cook, bottle washer, everything else over at Oregon Firearms Federation,
Starting point is 00:17:16 one of the true battlers for the Second Amendment here in the state of Oregon, which is always under attack by the establishment. That is for sure. Kevin, welcome back. And what do you think here when it comes to the Second Amendment when you observe what is happening in Iran these days and Iran these days? Isn't that interesting when you think about that? You know, what struck me about what we're getting from Iran, which of course is not much from the cartel media, you know, thank God for alternative sources, is that we're now seeing young women in that country who, let's face it, have been oppressed, dangerously oppressed assault. You know, the, the, you know, the Ayatollah says that women are like cows. and pakes and that they're there to serve men. They're now... Well, that's the way I run my marriage. What about you?
Starting point is 00:18:02 Well, you know, I don't believe anyone's listening at the moment. I'm totally kidding. It's like, Linda would laugh just as loudly on this. Yeah, yeah, sure, Bill. These young women over there who are risking their lives
Starting point is 00:18:18 to burn the hajibs and in America, ignorant, stupid, liberal women, who claim to be feminists are dressing like Kamaas to exalt a system that claims that they are like cows. And I think what we're seeing is, I mean, the entire left is so mentally ill, so deranged. You watch the videos of the riots, the anti-ice riots, the pro-Palestinium riots, where we see such absurdities as queers for Palestine, where believe me, you queer, if you were in Palestine, you would be thrown off the roof quite quickly. They're absolutely mindless.
Starting point is 00:19:00 It's like, oh, there's a riot. Let's go with our iPhone. Where every riot's got 10 zillion photographers. I don't know what's being done with all of these images. But there is no cogent, rational, liberal anymore. You know, these are people who honestly believe that I am a white lesbian. I can block the road with my car. And I should suffer no consequences from whatever I do.
Starting point is 00:19:26 I have no agency other than the fact that I have a superior morality as my shield, as my shield, I guess. Here's a group of armed men, okay, who are carrying out, who are enforcing the law, and I will laughingly block the road. And then once one of them, you know, tells me to get out of the car, I will step on the gas when there's a police officer in front of me. And now what we've seen from Oregon Democrats, you know, really Portland Democrats, but the entire Democrat caucus is this full court press to attack law enforcement, to vilify them, to claim their Nazis in order to protect the most dangerous, the most evil, the most vile criminals in our country who are raping and trafficking children and involved in drug deals. Well, yeah, well, to your point then, the two individuals that were involved in the ice dust up last week, right? You know, and how often they were reported in our cartel media here in this state as an Oregon couple, an Oregon man and woman, you know, those kind of things, leaving out the fact that no gangbangers and prostitute help her longers, whatever you would have called it, you know? And the Portland TV stations, which are now absolute rubber stamps, PR agencies for the far left, do exactly that. A Portland couple, you know, gun down, all this absolute lies.
Starting point is 00:20:49 And who's coming out to defend these people? The power structure. And this is where, you know, we've really tilted into this thing where there's no longer any pretense about it. The left, you know, the Maxine Dexter's who say that, you know, the Janelle Bynum's, who has gone completely ghetto, right? You know, dropping F bombs and press releases, saying things like, get to step in. Like, where, what ghetto is this woman from?
Starting point is 00:21:14 And all of the power structure now has said unequivocally, we will protect the people who are raping your children, and we will attack anyone who stands up to them. And if you're a Portland cop who happens to say and be recorded, that, yes, if my life was in danger, I would defend myself, you're done, dude. But I've got to tell you. Well, that's exactly what happened to that guy, that guy that mentioned something like that. Exactly what happened. The city council is now alive.
Starting point is 00:21:44 we will do everything we can to screw this guy, but I got to tell you. Well, he asked for it, though, didn't he? He did. And this is something that we have to understand that Portland police has had no trouble hiring people because they pay better than everybody else. And so, you know, they'll get maybe decent cops from other areas to go in there and take the job. But then look what happens, right? Well, you know what?
Starting point is 00:22:06 I don't even agree with that, and I'll tell you why. Because I'm very supportive of law enforcement for many reasons. But where people now are leaving sheriff's offices and other departments to go to work for Portland, and it's just for the money. They know what's going on there. They know that they will now become the enforcers of the Marxist thugs who run that city. And they also, that they're not really enforcing true law in order. It's not what they're doing. It's not what they're hiring to do.
Starting point is 00:22:33 If they do make an arrest, you know, the money's good, the job isn't that hard because they rarely have to make an arrest. if they do make an arrest, it's all performative, the person will be back on the street in time to commit the same crime the same day. Now, that's not the fault of the cops, but what is the fault of the cops is their refusal to recognize that after the last five years, who they are working for, who they now become the armed thug and forces for. And I just think they're out of excuses. There's plenty of cop jobs out there. And when you have cops moving into Portland knowing who they're working for and knowing so this guy, I don't know how long he'd been on the job. Everything he said I completely agree with.
Starting point is 00:23:14 He's now paying the price for telling the truth and saying something that made perfect sense. But you know what? If you're a Portland cop and all you care about now is your pension, then the people of the city don't matter anymore. And maybe the people of the city don't care anymore either, be honest with you. But this is what... But if the cops aren't going to care about the people in the city any longer, why should we care about the cops there? Well, exactly. And you know what?
Starting point is 00:23:37 It's like I have had long and great relationships. with many, many Oregon State Police. I knew many of them in the Capitol. I recently got a speeding ticket from one who was really a gentleman. I wrote to the head of the state police and said, this guy gave me a ticket. He was the most professional dude I'd ever met. But they work for Tina Kotech.
Starting point is 00:23:58 They do what Tina tells them to do. And at some point, I understand you're concerned about your home and your family and your job, but after years of this going on with years of Kate Brown and now with Kotech, there's been time to make an exit plan. And if you're working for Tina or you're working for the Peacock Caucus, I'm sorry, but you're out of excuses. I have zero sympathy for you. And I felt bad because that guy just spoke the truth. But you know what? He's still on that job. And if he hadn't started sending out his resume years ago, he's got it coming. It's a very good point, Kevin. Kevin stare at from Oregon Firearms Federation.
Starting point is 00:24:35 To your point, though, once again at what's really in charge here. And one of the challenges I have with the Republican caucus here in the state of Oregon on both the Senate and the state rep side is that there doesn't seem to be, well, I mean, there are exceptions, but there doesn't seem to be a real sense of urgency about just how serious this Marxist revolution is in the state of Oregon. Do you agree on that? So far? There's no, exactly.
Starting point is 00:25:01 there's no acknowledgement on these people's parts with the possible exception of Dwayne Yonker that five years ago, I said to Dresen, these people are Marxist revolutionaries. These people will literally kill you. And she was like, oh, you know, I guess I'm very Pollyanna. And this is what's happened. Now, you know, people like you and I have been calling these cretans, the people who run Salem, the people who run Portland, the people who run Ashland, calling them Marxist for years. Now they're calling themselves Marxists, okay? So the city of Portland is run by open
Starting point is 00:25:37 communists. What do communists do? They break things and they kill people. And the Republicans in the state of Oregon simply will not acknowledge it. It's like, oh, you know, public service, look at this job I got. I'm a great negotiator. You have zero leverage to do anything. Well, they're still going into the short session here as an example, thinking that the system works and and really not wanting to do anything that will, you've been advocating and I've been enjoying or joining you in with this advocating that if you're not breaking things while you're in there as a Republican, then if you're not trying to break their system, then nothing's going to change out of this one.
Starting point is 00:26:18 Nothing's going to be productive. And why are you even there as a state senator or a state rep at this point in time? You're there because you get an office and you get a title and in any other environment, you would be a zero, okay? You would have no identity, and now you have this illusion that you have some influence over something. And it's, it's, I will do nothing that will jeopardize my position here in spite of the fact that Oregonians are really suffering. They're going to suffer a lot more. Things are getting more violent, more dangerous. If you live in a rural part of the state, you are being completely screwed. Now that this tax measure has pretty much been defeated,
Starting point is 00:26:55 and Kotech and the Democrats will turn that against the Republicans anyway, because nothing prevents them from coming back and jacking up other taxes. And now they're talking about... Well, nothing prevents them from after they repeal it in this session after the fall election, they come back and just reimpose it. Again, precisely. Solible tape. You've got to turn up all that all harmony of volunteers to go out there and do all this work
Starting point is 00:27:18 every time the Democrats pass the bill. I don't think that's really sustainable. So now they're talking about it coming back. We're going to find another way to screw Oregonians. While we squander millions and millions of dollars that go to these, quote, nonprofits that are accountable to nobody, that the money disappears, that the people running them are pocketing this money. The Oregonians are getting shrewd.
Starting point is 00:27:40 And the legislature's like, well, you know, Jeff Helford, send out another fundraising email that is disguised as promoting the police or Dresden's latest email where you can actually buy a set of Dresen golf balls. You know, it's absolutely embarrassing. I mean, it is, I mean, where do you go with that joke, right? You know, but it's absolutely embarrassing what these people are doing. Send us more money so we can send out some sternly worded press releases and do a press conference where we get up there and badly read a script that says we shouldn't politicize crime. But, well, you have to under it.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Kevin, I get this. You have to understand, though, is that we have a completely inverted, well, perverse incentives here, if you're a state rep. or a state senator right now, because look at what happens when you have somebody who has principles such as Dwayne Yonker or state senator Noel Robinson. What happens? Your local newspaper holds them up as, oh my gosh, they didn't bring home money to the district. They will be a big price to pay for having ethics. That's absolutely true. The cartel media will attack you. If you're a Mike Neerman, your fellow Republicans will throw you out of office. If you're a Dwayne Yonker, will be brought up on ridiculous charges made by unaccountable slobs.
Starting point is 00:29:00 That's true. There is a price to be paid for standing up, but there's a huge price to be paid for the rest of the population, for not standing up. And now, what is the purpose of the Republicans going back in there for the short session? The purpose is to... Well, no, the purpose is to help get Tina Kotech reelected, isn't it? Well, that is what they will be doing. and when you consider that what this short session will be, okay, it's impossible to predict everything. You know they're going to try to find another way to jack up taxes and screw Oregonians,
Starting point is 00:29:32 but you also know that there will be a full court press by the Democrats to screw every cop they can. In fact, I want you to tell me about Casey Jama. There was some reporting on Casey Jama the other day. Okay. Casey Jama, Somalian immigrants, you know, literally one generation away from a camel herder, And if people want to call me a racist, they're fine to do that. He's literally, a one generation from herding camels in a Stone Age country, comes to America. He's a refugee.
Starting point is 00:30:02 And the first thing he starts doing is finding a way to destroy everything that is the American system. He's a far, far leftist whose only goal is to implement a communist regime. He gets appointed to a Senate seat, which of course makes a Fagan's Senate seat of all things. He gets appointed the seat, which as a Democrat means he's a shoo-in. He's a immigrant. He's a Muslim. He's black. He's guaranteed to win re-election. And now his latest scheme is to, you know, in Oregon, there are protected classes. If you're gay or if you're black, you are protected. He wants to create an unprotected class, meaning federal police. So anybody who does business with the federal police with ICE or Border Patrol is going to be blacklisted by the state. This guy is, I mean, what he wants to do is make Oregon, turn Oregon into the Stone Age country that he came from. And it's so absurd and so ridiculous. And if the Republicans, if the Bruce Starrs and the Christy Dracens and the Jeff Halpertures and the, you know, every one of these people who go down there all the time and express their horror of what's going on,
Starting point is 00:31:14 keep going down there to make sure that this happens, you know? It's just an endless stream of crap and lies, and the state continues to become one giant septic field. You know, I was reading a story the other day, Kevin, and a new report's talking about that there are more people moving into Oregon than before. So the drain has stopped. You know, we were hemorrhaging population there for a while. You know, the part of the concerns me is that the people moving into Oregon are not conservatives. They have to be moving here because they see this then as the coming. It has to be that way, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:31:50 It is, you know, they move here because they can, you know, they can get free transgender surgery and they can smoke fentanyl on the street. That's what they can do. Meanwhile, look at this. Oh, after the Trump administration said, we want to know what's going on with the voter data. And Oregon said, no, no, you can't have it. We just purged 800,000 names from the voter roll, 800,000 names in a state without, with a not
Starting point is 00:32:18 very big population. And so now they're saying, well, those people weren't getting ballots. Well, I don't believe one word. Well, they may not be getting balance in the future. I think that's what, I think that's what happened. You know, my son and his wife moved out of Oregon years ago, and they got ballots for years at my house. I mean, it was just absolutely insane that, okay, we have a ballot measure that bans the future purchase of firearms passes by a fraction of 1%. And now we're told, Oh, 800,000 voters really aren't eligible. Totally legit, by the way. I'm sure that was a totally legit election.
Starting point is 00:32:54 Oh, we're going to purge these 800,000. I imagine 700,000 of them will be Republicans, of course. But it's completely out of control. The people outside of this, I mean, a lot of people who are stuck in Portland are suffering as well. But there's absolutely no will on the part of the people who could address this without bloodshed. How would you address this without bloodshed then? I guess you're speaking of the Republican caucus that is going to be providing quorum and allowing things to move in February. You know, I saw somebody posted on X yesterday a video with the implication, yes, we can turn Oregon red.
Starting point is 00:33:33 And my fear is that, yes, they certainly can turn Oregon red, you know, the color of communists and bloodshed. And this is what happens when they've completely taken over. we've got Seattle, New York, Portland, and I guess Minneapolis, are now controlled by radical communists. This is not conjecture. This is terrifying. This is absolutely terrifying because whatever constraints can be put on them by the federal administration, which is not really arresting as many people as it should.
Starting point is 00:34:02 The damage that these people are capable of doing is absolutely astonishing, where you've got people who are basically saying private property should be abolished. and we control the police, and the police do what they're told. Oh, and by the way, the rent control in New York, this will be affecting mostly white people, they say. Well, you know, the Peacock Caucus of the Portland City Council decides that they need to study government housing. So where they go, they go to Austria, right? Why didn't they go visit the Bronx? You know, that, why did you just take some, look at some photos?
Starting point is 00:34:35 Well, because the wine and food in Austria is better than in the Bronx, okay? That's why. It's, you know, I don't blame the average person and the average voter for, you know, it's not really their fault, except that they're not holding Republicans accountable. But when you look at the people who are in office, the Bruce Stars, the, you know, all of these, every single one of them, the helpers, all them who just want to talk and ramble, you know, the Greg Smiths who get rich off their positions, the David Brock Smiths who funneled government money into their pocket. You know, this isn't, this isn't my theory. We have the paperwork, okay? It's really getting to the point where, and you know, the Republicans complain that that Republican voters don't turn out.
Starting point is 00:35:22 Well, give them someone to vote for, you know? Yeah, and give a sense of fight to the issue so that we know you're actually going to do your best to do something about it and not just sit around there and change the color of the draperies over in the House or the Senate. When the Democrats don't have the majority, what do they do? They do. They disrupt things. They do sit-ins. They break stuff. And those are people who are demonstrating for all the wrong things. Now, when your constituents are losing – they can't afford their homes, their taxes, because everything is going up. It's clear that they opposed this stuff. When you look at – you know, it wasn't just this tax measure that was overwhelmingly opposed by voters. There were plenty of measures that were overwhelmingly opposed by voters. The anti-gun measures were overwhelmingly opposed. And you didn't have to even read. the testimony that was uploaded, you could just do a search before and against. When that clown, that buffoon James Manning introduced his legislation to ban the word militia because he wants
Starting point is 00:36:21 to rewrite history because, as you and I both know, white militias are roaming the countryside, lynching black men, right? I haven't seen any of those, but I'm sure it must be true of James Manning, if James Manning says it so. It has to be. 100% of the testimony was in opposition of the upload a testimony, not a single person testified in favor of it. It was 100% against the Senate passes it. So at that point, if you're in the Senate and you're saying, wait a minute, these people have no interest in what's good for the population. What has to happen for you to say, no, this can't go on? Will it take a child sacrifice on the Capitol steps? Or will that just be the Oregon way? Because after all, we pay people to come here from other states.
Starting point is 00:37:07 to abort their children, right? Yeah, yeah. Point, point well taken. Hey, Kevin, I don't want to run out of too much daylight here before, all right? So hang on just a minute because I wanted to address Measure 114. Okay? I wanted to do that here. Give me just a couple of minutes.
Starting point is 00:37:21 I'll be right back with Kevin, and maybe take a quick call, too. This is the Bill Meyer show.
