Now more with Bill Meyer.
The gerrymandering virus is just continuing to spread, and it's festering, and the pustules are blowing up over in the state of Virginia.
Pustules, I don't know.
They mean, it's not all that appetizing, but here is Jason Sneed.
Executive Director for the Honest Elections Project Action.
How you doing this morning, Jason?
Welcome back.
And boy, wild time last night.
It was pretty close, wasn't it?
It was a very close election.
In hindsight, certainly, this was a winnable election for conservatives to try to stop this gerrymander of the state of Virginia.
But, you know, it turned out to be an extraordinarily narrow vote.
There were a lot of folks, including people clearly on the left that voted against this.
But it's still passed, and now the fight heads to the Virginia Supreme Court.
Now, you ended up filing an amicus brief in court with the Virginia Supreme Court last week, didn't you?
Because you were, you know, in advance of this vote saying that what they're trying to do,
and essentially this would what turn it from, what, is it, six Democrat congressional districts and four Republican to nine in one?
Is that how it would end up working?
Is that what they're trying to do?
So it's a six-five map, but with the referendum, if it is allowed.
to stand, it will flip to a 10-1 map.
10-1, wow.
You know, 10-1, 10-1.
So basically what the map purports to say is that Virginia is a 90-percent blue state.
And yet we have seen in the 2024 election, and we saw yesterday that this state is much
closer to 50-50, which is essentially what the map is right now, but it shortly will become a 10-1
Democrat map because of the way that this is as.
has been gerrymandered so that now you've got this heavy concentration of liberal voters in
Northern Virginia that are essentially going to control the majority of the rest of the state.
Jason, how much you have you of this, well, let me phrase it this way. How much of this vote
to do this redistricting referendum was maybe driven by a lot of people in Northern Virginia really
upset about losing their jobs in D.C. because D.C. employment is way down.
over year. Well, I think that there's a lot of folks in Virginia right now that are waking up
wondering what's going on with the state here. I think there's a lot of anger in northern Virginia
at President Trump, and I think that certainly has driven some of what we have seen. It's a really
vengeful brand of politics. And essentially, the argument that I think a lot of people are
waking up to this morning. From the left,
is that once you control 50% plus one of the vote, nobody else should have a say.
I mean, they're basically saying there shouldn't even be a second political party in the state of Virginia right now.
And I don't think that's the sort of argument that is conducive to the democratic process.
And I certainly don't think it's the argument that the party that is out there cloaking itself in the banner of loving democracy and needing to save democracy.
You don't save democracy by burning it all down.
Yeah, well, loving democracy means loving Democrats. That's all. That's really what is men here.
But, you know, this is something that, you know, Texas kind of lit the fuse on this.
Wouldn't you agree with what happened with Texas's redistricting and then California's all that we've got to get in on this?
And I think Texas's redistricting was actually relatively mild contrasted with what California and now Virginia are doing, wouldn't you say?
Well, I would certainly agree with that. But, you know, I think that it did,
not start with Texas. That's that's very much the argument that we see and hear from the left
in the media. But I think that people have to remember that, you know, Texas did what it did
in 2025. And you can have, you know, a variety of opinions about the merits of triggering this wave
of mid-decade redistricting. But we can't forget that, you know, in 2022, New York, the state of
New York, redistricted itself in order to gerrymander Republicans out of ceasing Congress when the people
of New York elected too many Republicans. And in 2024, the left ran a ballot measure, very similar to what we just saw happen here in Virginia, in the state of Ohio, that was designed to seize control of redistricting and force a redraw of the maps in the state of Ohio under new rules that would have slipped anywhere between three and six congressional seats from Republican to Democrat. And that would have happened in 2025. So there were all of these battles, not to mention long-running court cases,
that essentially make a mockery out of the idea that we draw maps once a decade.
The left will challenge and sue and argue that, for instance, the Voting Rights Act
requires you to draw maps that favor Democrats in red states.
All of these fights were taking place well before Texas did what it did.
And then California got in and essentially balanced everything out in terms of the net gain for Republicans in Texas.
And now you have Barack Obama and National Democrats and the Virginia Democrats coming in here,
saying that they're just trying to, quote, unquote, restore fairness.
So it was more about using Texas as an excuse to just go for a power grab.
And we have all broken up now, I think, with a bit of a hangover here in Virginia.
All right.
Well, I'll duly be corrected on that one then.
I understand that there is rumor that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis may be the next one to light the fuse on his redistricting.
Isn't that the case?
That's what I'm hearing right now.
What are you?
Yeah, there is a possibility that we may see another round of redistricting.
The redistricting wars, as they're being called, are far from over.
But there's going to be a couple of different battles and a couple of different inflection points.
You know, the first that we're going to see, actually, is back here in Virginia with the Supreme Court considering whether to allow this illegal referendum to stand.
The legislature, in order to even put this on the ballot, had to violate a number of law.
and constitutional provision. So the Supreme Court has an opportunity to strike this whole thing down,
declare it void from the very beginning, and restore the rule of law here in the Commonwealth.
So that'll be an interesting battle. We'll see what other states might choose to do.
And then we have the CalA case from the U.S. Supreme Court that could lead to another wave.
I doubt before the midterms, but could eventually lead to another wave of redistricting as states finally get control of that process again.
Very interesting.
A lot still ahead of us.
Yeah.
Could you explain, though, when you ended up filing the amicus brief, what you say is illegal, without going too much in the weeds, what is illegal about what the Democrats in the Commonwealth of Virginia have done?
Well, there's a few different things that they did that violate the law and violate the Constitution of Virginia.
The first is that we have a requirement that the legislature passed constitutional amendments in two separate sessions of the Constitution.
legislature so it has to be two different years and there's supposed to be an election for the
house of delegates in between and the idea is that the people can see what sort of changes the legislature
is trying to make to the constitution and if they don't like it then they have a chance to vote those
people out of office and replace them with lawmakers that will do things the right way according to the
people well what we had happened here was that governor glen yonkin called a special session of the
legislature way back in 2024 in order to consider budget bills. And then the Democrats in the Virginia
legislature not only extended that special session into 2025, but then on a party line vote
changed the rules of the special session in order to allow it to consider this referendum.
Yeah, because normally you don't, it was strictly a budget issue was what the governor was calling
for at that time. All right. Okay. That's correct. That's correct. And then they passed the language
the first of the two passes that you have to have in the legislature, they passed that on October 31st.
Now, that's before the actual election day, but we have six weeks of early voting in Virginia.
So they did this in week five of six of voting after an election had, if you're looking at it just based on, you know, quote-unquote election season,
after the majority of the election was already over.
So they basically were playing fast and loose with two sets of rules here.
And then there was an entirely separate law that they have in Virginia that requires that the language of these amendments be posted for 90 days across the state.
And they did not do that either.
And when they found out about that and when it became an issue in the court challenge here, the legislature just came back and retroactively repealed that law.
So essentially they acknowledged that they had violated that 90-day requirement.
And then they just tried to retroactively make the illegal conduct illegal.
Wait a minute. How do you retroactively repeal the law that you were supposed to be following up to that point? I don't get that. That's crazy.
That is absolutely wild, but that is what we are dealing with. That is the mentality. This was a raw exercise in political power.
And it's really the might makes right theory. And that's what I hope the Supreme Court will reject because, you know, legitimacy, this is where there is a difference between the hardcore partisans on the left and most of the rest of the country.
court partisans on the left say all that matters is winning. Winning is how you get legitimacy is how you get
power and that is what we care about. But pretty much everybody else acknowledges that the process is
what matters. You have to follow the rules. The constitutional text matters. And you can't just
set that aside in the name of getting power. And I think that there is a really powerful and
persuasive argument that the Virginia Supreme Court should strike this whole thing down and ensure that
the rule of law is protected here in Virginia.
This Supreme Court case, the Virginia Supreme Court, is this an emergency docket kind of appeal?
I mean, what kind of timing could we expect on this?
The oral argument in this case has been set for the 27th, so it's going to be happening very, very quickly.
And it has to because, you know, we've got elections coming up in very short order.
And even though the legislature has pushed back the Virginia primaries several weeks, you've got to get ballots out 45 days before that.
you have to know what the districts are going to be so candidates can qualify to even run in that election.
So this is all going to happen very quickly.
The court has essentially been boxed into a very difficult spot because of what Governor Spanberger and her colleagues have done,
trying to push this thing through.
They're arguing that this has to be done for very abstract reasons like saving democracy and restoring fairness.
But the reality is that they're just doing this to try to rig the results of the midterms,
essentially decide those elections before they've even been held.
And that's really put the court in a difficult spot because they're going to have to rule at a much quicker pace than they ordinarily would.
Isn't it interesting how Spanberger campaigned and kind of sold herself as that moderate Democrat, huh?
Looking like a little bait and switch, just a bit.
Well, not only that, but, you know, she said she had no intention, no desire to try to gerrymander the state of Virginia.
She said that on the campaign trail.
She has a long history of saying that gerrymandering is a threat to democracy.
And then it is one of the very first things that she signed as governor is this effort to get the referendum passed and to gerrymandar the state.
So I certainly feel as an individual Virginia citizen that there was a very clear bait and switch going on here.
But, you know, ultimately the left always attacks gerrymandering whenever their opponents do it.
But then they will rush as fast as possible to do it as aggressively as possible in any state that they control.
Illinois, New York, Maryland, now Virginia, with this crazy blue-tailed lobster district where they're very clearly trying to essentially suppress the voices and the votes of as many conservative voters as possible and leave us all essentially trapped with representatives selected by the elites living in northern Virginia.
Well, I hope you're successful on this Virginia Supreme Court case. I really do here.
And where can we find out more? It's honest election projects action, right? It's something different.
Is it a different aspect of the honest election project? How was it actually configured there in your group now?
So we've got honest elections project. That's a 501C3, very focused on policies. And we've got HEP Action, which is focused on getting those policies implemented.
And folks can check out HEPaction.org.
They can also find a report that details a comprehensive power grab and effort to rig the rules here in Virginia,
where the legislature has actually passed more bills on election issues than any other state,
and they are comprehensively leveling down on election security all in the name of rigging the process for the left.
They're even trying to build sanctuary city-style zones to protect against immigration enforcement around polling places, if you can believe that.
So we are looking at a real serious threat to free and fair elections here in Virginia,
and you can find that brand new report just came out yesterday at HUPaction.org.
I'll make sure in length of that.
So no immigration enforcement around an election center.
You know, you just want to scratch your hand on that one because if you're an illegal immigrant,
you're not supposed to be in that election, right?
I mean, it's not lost on us, I don't think.
I think you're seeing exactly where the left is these days, and they are telegraphing where they want to go with things like expanded rank choice voting, the national popular vote, you know, all of these things where they are making it harder to enforce the election security laws, clean up voter rolls, stop non-citizens from voting, and on and on and on.
And this is really just a continuation of what they did the last time they had trifecta control of the Virginia government where they created 45 days of early voting.
And I think it's a very clear signal of where they want to go in the future with the rest of the Spanberger administration.
And I think in a few years, we're going to be turning Virginia into more like a California style, all vote by mail state with no voter identification laws whatsoever.
They're very clearly telling us the direction that they want to go.
and it's just the latest example of the left gaining a little bit of power and then trying to make sure that they never lose power again.
Yeah, Virginia going the way of California and the state of Oregon too.
State of Oregon, of course, very much under supermajority control of the Democrats also.
Interesting times here, Jason.
Thanks for letting us know about this.
We'll link to that information in that report too.
Thanks for being on the show.
Appreciate it.
Thank you.

aren't they doing the no tax clawback today?
Aren't they starting to get the petitions going, rolling for that here, in Jackson and Josephine County?
I know in Josephine County certainly doing it.
Oh, yeah, we've been doing it since Monday.
We started with petitions.
We've got them at the Jackson County Republican headquarters.
I sent out a list all over Facebook and Instagram and, you know, we've got the no-cloth petitions all over Medford.
Good, good. The idea is we've got to get a bunch of signatures real quick. This is a real hurry up and get them in quick type of deal, isn't it?
That's right. Yeah. We only have 14 days, and the real big signatures are going to be coming on the weekend.
So I have lots of locations in every city that we will have available for people to come out.
That is the day everybody's supposed to go out and sign it. We need to get it done.
All right, we'll do. A duly noted on that, Vicki. Now, Ed Deal is in town today?
Yeah, today he's going to be at Nama Suncrest from 1130 to 1 o'clock, and then he's going to be at Edenville Winery from 6 to 8 p.m.
So this is a rare opportunity for people to come out in the Medford area and meet Ed Dill and ask him your questions.
All right.
Now, you said NAMIS.
Could you explain again where that is?
I'm sorry.

She was last seen with San Frantello, her boyfriend at the time, but there wasn't enough evidence to make a case.
In 2024, Josephine County sheriffs reopened the case, and by 2025, with new DNA techniques and witness interviews,
they had enough evidence to indict San Frantello.

Yeah, thinking 830.
Ah, okay.

But, well, I think David Brock Smith beat Joe Ray, though, in that district when they were, like, running for either the state Senate or the state rep.

But anyway, we'll kick that all around here.

Boy, busy political morning here.
You know, Eric Peters said something, you know, at the end of the show.
No, he's the libertarian car guy.
You know, he's not a Republican car guy, all right?
But I still, you know, I talk with him.
And I don't always agree necessarily with his political angle on something.
But I certainly am a freedom-oriented individual.
I certainly hope you all are.
And he's talking about what's, you know, the reaction right now that we're seeing with this redistricting in Virginia,
well, reaction to Trump.
Well, of course, I know, and I'll agree with him there.
It's like everything is going to be in reaction to Trump because Trump essentially,
I mean, all I have to do, even on Facebook, is just to, you know, talk about something that was happening in, well, as an example, last night.
Last night I put up a post about the Poverty Law Center, Southern Poverty Law Center, has now been indicted now, and they're being sued for fraud by the Department of Justice, the DOJ going after them, saying that essentially they were taking donor money and paying informants within the hate group so that they could go out there and then gin up more.
money. We're out here fighting hate. And of course, hate in the Southern Poverty Law Center
is defined as especially, you know, you some white male, you're a hater. You, conservative,
definitely, hater. You're a conservative Christian. Boy, you're the most hateful person of all.
That's essentially where Southern Poverty Law Center has been for a long, long time. So I put up a
little post on that one, and I just said, hey, you know, it's about time that somebody went after
of these clowns. So I was actually really happy, you know, to read about that. And then I'm getting
these people saying, yeah, but what about the, you know, Trump and it's the lying and the
partons and all the rest of it? And I said, your Trump derangement syndrome is showing. It's like,
okay, you know, the what aboutism, which goes on there. Okay, the what aboutism about
the president Trump, okay, that has nothing to do with the fact that Southern Poverty Law Center,
according to the DOJ, has broken the law and committed fraud. That's it. But all you had to do,
It just has to be the Trump administration and then, you know, and it gets just relax.
It's okay.
Boy, it's going to be a long couple of years until this goes.
But I guess it's only through the midterms there.
But give me your take, though.
Are you overall satisfied with where it's going right now as far as federal action?
You know, are you okay with it?
Are you okay with where we find ourselves when it comes to?
the Iran war situation.
No, because we're now into
week eight of two weeks to flatten
the Iranians. Does it appear
that it's going quite
as quickly as we would like?
Is it worth it? Are you happy with that?
Are you hoping that we will wrap
this up sooner rather than later?
And
are you willing to pay
the price?
I think it's reasonable to ask that.
And
you can tell that, I can tell at least, that
seems that President Trump seems to be very frustrated about this. But, you know, the Iranians are not
what you would call, they're not motivated by, I'm speaking about the Iranian Theocracy, not
motivated by the same sort of situation, by the same deal. You know, cutting deals with the
theocracy doesn't mean quite the same thing, all right? It's a different sort of enemy, you know,
in my view. Maybe you can bribe a few people in Maduro's government as an example to go,
way. You know, you spread a few thousand dollars here. You bribe this person, get that person
installed, yada, yada, yada. I don't know if that necessarily is going to, is going to work
when you're talking about some theocrats here. And I know that that's something that they're
working around here. But Eric was talking about back to Eric, you know, this is back to the
Trump derangement syndrome. All you have to do is mention Trump and people just lose their
freaking mind. It's just bizarre. And now even more Republicans, I will admit more Republicans.
are probably starting to lose their mind.
Are you starting to lose your mind,
or are you just kind of biding your time and saying,
hey, this two shall pass?
How would you evaluate it overall?
7705-633-770K-M-E-D.
He doesn't do everything that I would like.
But it doesn't mean I would want to have voted the other way.
It's a binary choice.
That was it.
You know?
And that's not denigrating the choice.
The choice was sound.
I think the choice was sound.
There happened some things that cropped up that really bothered me, like, you know, President
Trump wanting the spying, the FISA court spying, when he campaigned against it and against
it and against it and against it for years.
That does bother me.
It gives me pause.
It's kind of like everybody that goes to work in Washington, D.C., even President Trump,
he all become part of a swamp after a while.
Man, you send people to Washington, D.C.,
say they have the best of intentions and then all of a sudden they become one of them.
I don't know.
Maybe this two shall pass, but I'm happy to take your call.
745.
Hi, good morning.
KMED.
Who's this?
Morning.
This is Jean.
Hi, Jane.
It's on your mind today.
Welcome.
Well, the one thing.
When are they going to start protesting the dictating dictators?
Okay.
Okay, that's, you know, for what?
What do you mean?
Well, they protested, no kidding.
Why not protest the get rid of the dictating dictator Democrats?
Okay, no, yep.
Well, I mean, it's kind of a funny question, though, Gene,
because you know why they're not protesting the dictating dictators of the Democrats?
Because it's their dictators, okay?
There's.
We like our dictators.
Every side likes their own dictators, I guess.
Maybe that's it.
And as for the Iran war?
Yeah?
President Trump is going up against the dictating communist country.
They want to dictate everything, and that means take away all right.
Well, that means they'd have to shut you up because, you know, you're a mouthy woman, right?
Yeah, I am.
Thanks, Jean.
I'm a war, baby. I fight back.
Thanks, Gene.
Now, you know, I'm teasing you.
That's an affectionate.
one affectionate, mouthy woman. There you go. All right, we'll see you later. 770K-A-D. Hi, good morning. This is Bill. Who's this? Welcome.
Good morning, Bill. It's Francine. Another mouthy woman. Great. What's up?
Well, you're going to pay for that one.
Now, now, I mean that in the best, I'm always having fun with you on that.
I know, I know. If it wasn't for people like, like Gene and myself and you wouldn't, you know, it would get boring.
Exactly. So what's on your mind?
Okay, well, I'm probably more in the, oh, well, just wait and see what happens group, you know.
And I would never have voted for Kamala.
In fact, if she had become president of the United States, the shame would have driven me into a deep hole somewhere.
I couldn't face anybody in the world.
And I would agree with that. I would agree with that.
But, you know, you're at the point where you've had the way I tend to look at these, especially national elections.
is, you know, if you can get about 80% of what you need, that's helpful.
You know, very rarely do you get 100% of anything from anyone.
But just that.
Well, I know that.
But see, Trump is not, he's not what he told us he was.
He's not.
And I am totally on board with Patrick Wood's assessment of what's going on with Trump.
You know, this is all about enriching the rich, this whole war.
I mean, did you see the latest,
the little thing he sent out, he's written a little book he's selling for $9 or something,
but the comments that he made in there were, you know, that this whole Strait of Vermeuse thing
or Hermote, I can't even pronounce it.
Yeah, he's made, well, Strader Vermouth, I like that, Strader Vermouth, that's in my
latest martini, but no, Stratio Hormuz, Strait of Hormuz.
Yeah, he, what Patrick Wood has been very strong and very vocal about is saying that this has
to do with trade routes. And of course, he does have a lot of mucky mucks that are all implanted
in the, you know, in this process of, of rewriting trade routes and trade agreements and
completely changing it around. And, well, the thing is, though, he is a business guy. There's no
doubt about that. And boy, there's a lot of business guys all, you know, plugged in to this,
to this plan right now. Here, here's what I, what I think was always, I think that was always plan to some
degree that this was this was like Trump didn't get elected just because he was great Trump he got
elected because he was allowed to be elected and you and I both know that you know nobody
okay okay that he was allowed to be elected now now hold on now you're doing a lucretia on me
all right in which we all know no I don't know that necessarily that he was allowed to be elected
I don't know that but nobody really gets in unless they're allowed in
You know, like when Hillary thought she was going to get the presidency, they didn't let her win that.
And everybody thought she was going to get it, you know?
So you're thinking that the election process, especially nationwide, is just so compromised that it really is like an elite decision process.
You put a little finger here, little influence there, right?
I do. I truly do. I've thought that for a very long time.
And it can look like it's not because they can get a lot of people on board.
like Trump really got people all riled up about, oh, you know, make America great again and all this stuff.
So it looked really good.
But you got to remember, he was at Democrat from all up until very recently.
I mean, did you ever watch his interview with Oprah?
Oh, yeah.
You know, yeah, I mean, the guy is, I just, I do not trust him.
His behavior now is just abominable.
He is really looking like such a jerk.
He is inviting all the people to, he is.
Okay.
acting any differently than we've ever known Donald Trump to act before, though.
No, and that's why they let him get, become president, because he was on board with what
their, okay, but you see what you're, okay, we see what I'm getting at here.
Let me say that.
Well, okay, we knew that Donald Trump is intemperate, mercurial, and, and for the most part
is apt to shoot his mouth off, all right, and it's not always real pleasant, okay?
We've known that.
Why did we think anything was going to change in the second term?
Well, what we didn't know to what degree he was going to, like, this whole thing in, you know, with Iran,
that's not what it looks like on the service.
I can't give you specifics, because I don't know exactly what it is, but I know it's not what it appears to be about.
And you and I, you know, I mean, you got to think, you got to consider that, Bill.
All right.
Well, I will consider it.
And thank you for being such a loud mouth, okay?
All right.
See ya.
I always have fun.
It's always affectionate.
If I ever call someone like that, I'm just having fun with you, okay?
Hi, KMEDA.
Good morning.
And who might you be?
This is Minor Dave.
Hi, Dave.
Well, I think this two show passed.
I don't get excited about anything.
You don't, huh?
Why get excited?
It's just going to raise your blood pressure.
Just take a deep breath and say, this two shall pass.
This too.
Because it will.
Okay.
All right.
Almost sounds like you and I are going to like get into a meditative state here pretty soon.
All right?
Well, you know, being meditative sometimes it is a common thing.
You know, you had that near death, and I've had that near death.
Yeah.
So we know there's more to it than we see because we only see about 1% of what we can see of the universe that's in front of us.
so and it's vast
I must say that my
you know you had a near death experience
I had a near death experience
and it was
you know I know it's near death right
but it was life changing
for me in many ways
well it was for me too
I no longer have infamnia
I wish I could
say that because that is still something
that I have great difficulty
calming my mind at night time
a lot of times
and this morning as an example
Linda came to bed and it's like 115 and I woke up and I did not go back to sleep after that no matter what I did.
Well, I woke up at the same time, but then I forced myself to go back to sleep.
Yeah, I would like to be able to force myself without, you know, doping myself up.
I try not to do that, okay?
Well, no, you don't want to take any...
Yeah, I know. I don't.
Thanks for your loud mouth too, Dave.
It's 753 and change.
KMED, 993, KBXG.
It's on your mind.
7705-633, kind of like a little midterm, almost midterm evaluation, because some people are going,
oh, Trump's losing his support, other people are going, hey, I'm Maga all the way.
Where are you?
Give me your overall grade, okay?

A couple of political luminaries on the docket here for next hour.
After the 8 o'clock news, we're going to have State Rep.
E. Warner Reschke.
Klamath.
Yeah, a lot going on over there, especially when it comes to water or lack thereof.
Okay, have a little conversation on that one.
And Senator David Brock Smith, who wishes to become U.S. Senator David Brock Smith.
I'll find out what he's going to do here, you guys.
You know, I wonder if he is willing to, you know,
a glove on the other five Republicans that are running.
There are six Republicans running in that race.
So you got the ballots dropping in a couple of weeks, right?
I think it's serious, right?
Well, that's what I was talking about, even with the gubernatorial race.
You've got to start throwing a blower every now and then.
It's not about name recognition only.
It's like what makes you different.
So I imagine, well, maybe Ed's going to talk about that when he's over at the wineries this afternoon
of the evening and coming into town.
That's what I was talking about.
I was complaining about last week's debate because it really wasn't a debate.
Start debate and start swinging.
You got to do it.
All right.
Emails of the day, and those are sponsored by Dr. Steve Nelson.
Central Point Family Dentistry is next to the new Mazadlan Mexican restaurant in Central Point.
Newer spaces location, very nice, well-established place.
But they have so many positive reviews from all over the area.
Sharing surprising experiences about how their dental visit was not like when they were kids.
Boy, does anybody really want a dental experience like when they were kids?
No.
What was yours like?
I'll tell you mine.
Mine was always, this was it.
My dentist was Dr. Wempa.
Dr. Wimpa was a Marine in World War II, right?
So he was a tough bird.
We're talking about, I think his crew cut was about maybe an eighth of an inch high.
And you walked into the dental office, and he just looked like he,
He just always looked like he was, had just eaten a bad meal.
You know, just kind of had that look.
All right, Billy, get up in the chair.
All right.
So get up in the chair.
And he was one of those dentists.
You know, the dentist of the 1950s in the 1960s when they're drilling and they're poking around in there and they're taking a little pick and going to go.
Oh, that doesn't hurt.
He would tell me that.
It doesn't hurt.
He's like, yeah, it does.
You know, kind of traumatized you.
No, they'll do that now.
That is not Central Point family dentistry.
About the only thing they don't have yet,
maybe they'll do that next year,
is massaging chairs when you're sitting there waiting,
little heated massage chair and, you know, that'll be nice.
Maybe Steve will do that next time.
But he is no Dr. Wempa, thank goodness.
That doesn't hurt.
Billy, that doesn't hurt, Billy.
Yikes.
Anyway, yeah, they've gotten a little bit better.
He was tough, though.
I would have loved to have had him in the Foxhole.
I just didn't want him as my dentist.
You know, that's just it.
Yeah, go ahead.
Shoot the Germans and the Japanese.
Go ahead.
Fine.
Don't do that.
Yeah.
I can see Wempa in there as a Marine.
He'd be shooting the Japanese and the Germans and things like that.
And you go, pung, ah!
Oh, that doesn't hurt.
You know?
Sorry, I got to have a little fun.
I can still remember that just like it was yesterday, okay?
Anyway, Patrick writes me about the Trump derangement syndrome and non-conservatives.
Bill never underestimate the resolve of a Trump derangement.
syndrome, sufferer to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory where our health, wealth,
and safety is concerned.
Thank you, Patrick.
Betty weighs in.
Bill, I was in the car waiting for a store to open yesterday just before nine.
I was listening to you and the no wires now, gal, and I was listening to the selling points
and it hit me.
I have Roku TV, two TVs, the 54-inch I paid $140 bucks for just before Thanksgiving.
And three months ago, I bought a 24-inch for a tiny bedroom for $66.
bucks the others i have invested in a couple of old-fashioned rabbit ears 20 bucks a piece the ears are for all the local channels
i have no other charges i have hundreds of channels and there are some pay-per-view the news one i can think of is a no ad
channel for 299 a month but all the subject matter covered i've never found one but i pay for but some people
will pay for sports events i pay 30 bucks for a spectrum for internet i can't imagine people paying hundreds of
dollars a month i understand they bundle a number of packages but they're too lazy to do some research i guess thanks
Betty. Betty, you know, it's interesting about that. You have to be, well, sometimes if you are
living in an apartment, you don't always have the same choices that other people can. You can't
always get every plan. So I don't want to sit there and say, well, you know, doing your research.
But yeah, there are less expensive ways of doing it than having to pay $300 a month for all your
channels like you used to. Okay. Randy from Ashland Wing and Bill, President Trump needs to
realize he can't make a deal with terrorists. Their agreements,
nothing. Terrorists have no problems violating agreements or ignoring promises. Terrorists
understand force and death period. Trump's being played by Iran giving them time to regroup. When you
have your enemy on their knees, don't let them stand up. Put them on their face for good. All right,
Randy. Now, the Reverend David writes me, Bill, Congress Critters, I think I figured out what
happens to rational people, well, some of them, who we send to Congress. Take Tom McClintock from
California for an example.
When Tom was in the California Assembly,
he was a rational conservative fellow.
I voted for him instead of Arnold
in the primary. After all, his
slogan was, Tom McClintock,
tighter than our frog's rear end.
Honestly, that was his slogan, Bill.
But since he's been in the swamp, I hardly
recognize him.
I do think something happens when we send
people to the swamp. It's like, you know, the
body snatchers, but instead of aliens,
come sort of swamp creature takes over their body, and they're never the same again.
How sad?
Dave, I appreciate your writing.
That's kind of what I was mentioning here.
A little while ago, right?
It does seem that way.
And Sam writes about the poor turnout elections.
Primary reason for poor turnout bill is poor, no spark, go along to get along candidates.
Votes are far too often finding no one to vote for, but many, they must vote down to protect us all.
Add to that growing distrust, rather, of election results and the lack of one-day-only elections.
To get better, do better.
Sam, I appreciate your writing.
The email bill at Billmyershow.com.
Quick call here before top of the hour in news, Fox News.
Then we'll have the Kim Commando Digital Update.
E. Warner Reschke.
He's going to talk what's happening in the Klamath area.
Hi, good morning.
Who's this?
Welcome.
Bill, it's Jerry.
Jerry, welcome back.
What's on your mind?
Well, I just wanted to make some comments about Trump.
Sure. Okay.
You know, I could be too long winded here, but I won't.
Here's a couple of observations about Trump.
One, how many rallies has he done this time around?
Before he was doing rallies, right after the inauguration, going to all different
state and so forth. I did hear that he did some sort of a speech down in Arizona recently in a church
that was approximately 4,500 seating capacity. Yeah, was that the one for Turning Point?
I believe it was. Yeah, no. I didn't hear it, but I heard somebody talk about it. And
there were probably only approximately 3,000 people there.
Are you thinking then that it would do him well to actually go out and do a few more actual rally rallies like what used to be done on the campaign trail?
I don't know if it would do him well or not. It might expose him.
Well, the thing is, though, what I will say is that rallies tend to feed him.
They really do.
Yes.
I agree.
And I think it may connect him to something that, you know, it's a great way for him.
him to throw out ideas and see what sticks and then possibly act on it.
And also, sometimes when he'll throw out an idea and it doesn't get such a great reaction
that he knows, it's sort of an instant feedback, and then he recalibrates.
You think maybe it's time for more of that?
Well, I'm just saying what I'm trying to get at by this is that it seems to me that he was
more people-oriented during his first term.
Yeah. Okay. All right.
And, hey, anyway, as opposed to this time.
I appreciate your opinion, and thanks for making it.
Jerry the Bull.
